Keroman Submarine Base
Lorient, German Occupied France
February 3rd, 1941

It was a dark and cloudy day in Lorient, France, the perfect condition for sneaking up on ships, and Captain Otto Kretschmer was becoming impatient and wanted to get on the sea where there was the possibility of him sinking American oil tankers. Unfortunately, they had to wait because someone was to demonstrate a new device on there sub. 

The crew of U-99  was becoming restless and wanted to get going, but they waited, and waited, they had been told that the reward would be great. Otto and two of his other officers stood on the conning tower waiting for there visitor to arive. Otto felt a tap on his shoulder and turned to find his chief engineer, and friend, Fredrick Klaus, standing behind him. Fredrick and Otto had been friends since graduation, and fate lead them to be working together.

"Otto, when is he going to arrive? The crew is becoming more and more restless!" He said. Otto noticed a few bruises on the engineers face, and had guessed that it was from a fight that had erupted in the ship earlier this morning, which had caused a crew member to be severely punished.

"I honestly dont know Fredrick, but get yourself cleaned up" Otto replied.

They stood there for hours waiting, then around 12:27 P.M there was the rumble of a convoy in the distance.

"OK EVERYONE STAND AT ATTENTION AND GET READY, COMMAND SAYS OUR GUEST IS VERY IMPORTANT SO TREAT HIM LIKE AN OFFICER!!" Otto Yelled to the other crew members.

Soon a motorcycle  came into veiw in the distance followed by an officers car, then followed by a opelblitz truck and then an armored car.

The veichels stopped in front of the pen, and otto made his way to the convoy followed by fredrick and another of his officers. A man in a lab coat stepped out of the car followed by two men in Waffen SS uniforms.

"Hello captain, its an honor to meet the legendary Otto Kretschmer."  said the man in the lab coat.

"And who do i have the pleasure of meeting?" asked Otto

"I am doctor Steiner!" replied the man.

Otto's mouth dropped in disbelief "THE doctor steiner?!?!"

"Yep" Replied steiner

"It's an honor to meet you doctor. Now, I was told that you wanted to test something on are Sub?" 

"Yes, its in the truck over there." he pointed to the opelblitz

"What exactly is it?"asked otto

"A way to win this war... I've developed a teleportation machine." 

"Y-you what?!?!"

"Yes, amazing isn't it, anyways, now our U-Boats can get behind enemy blockades, and minefields." Steiner said with pride.

An hour later they had finished setting up the machine. "Okay now have your crew get on the ship so that they can sail the boat back once the test is done." 

"Wait... WHAT?!?! YOU WANT US TO BE TEST SUBJECTS?!!? WHAT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG?!?!" 

"Don't worry. The worse that'll happen is you and your crew would be vaporized." Steiner said as if it were nothing.

"..." Otto stood there not convinced.

"Don't worry i'm very certain it will work." Said the professor who noticed Otto's concern.

*sigh* "Fine, but nothing better happen to any of my crew."

Steiner activated the machine and it started to charge up "Excellent! Now lets get this sta-" before he could finish, air raid sirens started going off, Otto heard the bombers before he saw them. Their were hundreds of them they looked to be american B-17 "flying fortress" bombers.

"Shit" Otto said

He heard the familiar whistling of bombs fill his ears "Everyone take cover!!!"

Then everything went to hell. All he could see was the light of explosion as bombs hit the city.
Soon anti-air guns started lighting the sky up and even damaging a few of the many bombers.

He soon heard an unfamiliar noise it sounded like a low humming, yet it was loud enough to be heard over the bombs at the same time.

He looked to the source of the sound and saw the machine. It was still charging up.

"DOCTOR SHUT DOWN THE MACHINE!!!"

There was no answer.

"DOCTOR!!" He looked around and soon found the doctor on the ground. He turned the body over to find that his stumach had been blown open and had been impaled by many pieces of metal. "SHIT!"

He heard someone howl in pain behind him and looked to see Fredrick on the sub clutching at his leg. "FREDRICK!"

Otto ran to his friend and saw a piece of shrapnel stuck in his leg. "FUCK!" yelled the wounded engineer in pain. 

"Fredrick can you walk?" Asked Otto.

The engineer tried getting up just to fall again and hurt himself more. "FUCK!! no.... your gonna have to leave me....."

"FUCK THAT!!! I'M NOT LEAVING YOU!!!"

"You don't have a choice.... it was a pleasure serving with you sir." He gave a salute.

Before Otto could replied the humming started to intensify. Otto looked to see the machine was fully charged, and according to what the doctor said about it, it would fire automatically.

"SHIT!! COME ON WE'VE GOT TO GO"

"I told you sir.. I cant move"

"I'M NOT LEAVING YOU!"

"you have to..."

Before Otto could say another word the machine fired sending a beam of purple energy towards the sub. Suddenly an explosion rocked the sub sending Otto tumbling over the side, just to be met by the beam of energy he instantly felt extreme pain flow through him.

"AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Then his vision went black...



Everfree Forest, Equetria
Unknown Time

Trixie was walking through the forest when there was a loud and bright purple flash curious she made her way to where she saw it what she saw was a stallion with a blond mane and tail, tan fur, she couldn't see the color of his eyes because they were closed, and he was wearing odd blue clothing that seemed to be a uniform of some kind. 

"Hello?" She called out.

The stallion didn't move, as she got closer she realized that he had wings AND a horn, she saw he was breathing which gave her a little relief she looked to see that he was bleeding from several cuts and that some of his fur was badly singed. 

"Oh celestia.." She lifted him in her magic and took off towards ponyville for help "i hope that they'll allow me there," trixie thought to herself.



Otto woke up and try'ed looking around but saw only blackness. Damn what happened he thought to himself. Then he remembered everything from waiting for steiner, to the moment his vision went black. Oh god am i dead then he felt a sharp pain in his body Nope definently not dead

He raised his hand to his head and felt some bandages, Well that explains why i cant see As he moved his hand along his head he felt something on his head poke him, What the he moved his hand along it and guessed it was some kind of horn, Something is definitely wrong here and now that came to think of it his hand didn't even feel like a hand instead it felt like.... a hoof?.....

Otto tried to keep calm and not freak out which for the most part he succeeded but he was having a hard time controlling himself Ok, ok, calm down Otto, youve been through worse.... ok no you haven't but you need to calm down anyway his thoughts are instantly interrupted by the opening of a door. 

"Ok lets see concussion, 2 degree burns, broken leg, man this pony must of had a rough day." Otto identified the voice to be feminine.

hmm... man that machine did a umber on me, if what that lady says is true.... wait.... did she call me a pony?



Ponyville Hospital
5:46 A.M 

Trixie stood in the lobby of the hospital pacing back and forth waiting for the nurse to return. As she waited she caught a few ponies staring at her, some afraid some angry. But she didn't blame them, not after what she did the last time she was here. She thought back to the last time she was here and how she used the amulet to enslave everypony. She regretted every bit of it and wished she could change all of it. 

Her thoughts were interrupted by the door being opened and saw the nurse come back. "Is he ok?" trixie asked

"He'll need time to recover, but he'll live" the nurse responded "Hes lucky you found him when you did, otherwise he might not have made it through"

Trixie smiled, knowing that he had saved the stallions life.

"If you wish, your welcome to visit him he should come around in a little."

"I would love to see him." Trixie followed the nurse to Otto's room.




Otto was laying there trying to figure out whats going on, Man, i wish i could see right now he heard foot steps coming and then a door swinging open again "Right this way Trixie" He heard the feminine voice from earlier say.

"Thank you nurse RedHeart." Said the voice he assumed was Trixie.

The one he assumed was nurse RedHeart said "Oh and by the way, twilight will be stopping by to check on him, he is an alicorn after all so she wants to find out as much about who he is as possible."

He heard Trixie sigh. "ok..." She said obviously unhappy.

He heard foot steps walking away and the door open and close, then he heard another pair of steps moving towards him. He held his breath, hoping whoever this was wouldn't realize he was awake. Then suddenly, "You can cut the act, I know your awake" He heard the one called Trixie say.

He sighed. "vhat gave it away." He said, his english having a German accent.

"Nothing really, i'm just good at telling when somepony is actully asleep." She replied.

"Now, who are you?" She asked.

"Uhm, I prefer not to say until i know I cant trust you." He replied.

"I saved your life, isn't that enough to earn your trust?" She asked, obviously annoyed.

"Vell... I'd rather be able to see you before I trust you" He answered.

"Well... I think you've healed enough that i can remove these bandages." She said

He had a strange feeling all of a sudden around his head it felt fussy and ticklish but he saw a faint glow of pink in his vision and slowly the bandages came undone. He looked around to see he was in what looked like a hospital room. Only everything seemed a bit... small. He looked down at his body and regretted it, what he saw was beyond his comprehension. He was a pony...

"Vhat am I ?!?!"

"A pony dummy, what else could you be." He looked to see another pony next to him. It was blue ad had a silver mane and for a moment seemed... cute... to him but he mentally scolded himself for thinking about that, she is a pony after all.

"V-vhat are you and vere am I ?!?!"

"Woah, woah, woah, hold on there bub, you need to calm down." She said firmly.

He started calming himself down. "Ok, now vhat are you and vere am I?"

"A pony... like you, and your in ponyville hospital." She said.

"Ponyville?" He asked.

"Yep" Trixie replied.

"Right..." He said.

Otto then passed out from all this sudden information



Princess Twilight walked into the hospital lobby and made her way to the front desk, getting a few bows from the other ponies in there, normally she'd tell them it wasn't necessary but today she was to busy to bother trying.

She asked were the new stallion's room was and made her way to it.

When she got there she saw the stallion and trixie talking to each other. "Trixie?" Asked Twilight "Twilight?" Responded Trixie.

"Back in town, huh?" Said twilight.

"Yeah..." Responded Trixie.

"No hard feelings?" Asked Twilight.

*sigh*"I don't know Twilight, ever since I left I've had it pretty ruff, I had to sell everything just to survive and even the bits I got from that are gone now" Trixie was starting to tear up. "Hey cheer up Fraulein, zhings are bound to get better." said Otto patting Trixie on the shoulder when he saw her begin to tear up.

Twilight instantly remembered why she came. "So you are the alicorn I've heard of?" She asked.

"Ja, I guess so." responded Otto.

"Ja?" asked Twilight.

"It means yes..." replied Otto.

"Ok... Now who are you?"

"Captain Otto Kretschmer, of the grand Kriegsmarine." He replied, a bit of pride in his voice.

"Captain?" asked twilight, raising an eyebrow. "Ja, I am captain of U-99"

"U-99?"

"Ja, zhat is zhe name of my ship... vell sub."

"Odd name for a ship, don't you think?" Asked Trixie.

"Vell... Not really the name, but more of an identification number for my vessel, U-Boats aren't generally given names."  Replied Otto.

While they talked Twilights mind was elsewhere, she swore the name sounded familiar, but couldn't place her hoof on why.

"Well the nurse said that you'll be out in a few days." Said Twilight.

"I'll stay with you if you'd like." Offered trixie who was smiling.

"Zat is fine vith me" said Otto.

"Well I'll be back tomorrow to check on you, I'm gonna have a lot of questions for you." Said Twilight.

"I'll most likely have a couple for you as well." Replied Otto.

"I look forward to it then." Said Twilight

The next day, Otto woke up in a hospital bed at first not remembering what had happened, but then remembered everything from the Lorient incident, to going to sleep last night in the hospital. man, why does this have to happen to me? He thought to himself.

Looked around the room trying to gain his bearings. He felt something warm on his stomach (or at least what he guessed was his stomach) and looked down to find Trixie laying her head on him, obviously asleep.

"Hmm..."

He didn't want to disturb her, so he decided to lay there and wait. Then he realized his clothes and gear was missing. hmm... I wander what they've done with my stuff. Normally he'd freak out about the clothes but it didn't seem that these ponies wore clothes other than RedHearts nurse cap.

He looked around the room to see if any of it was in here, but couldn't find any of it.

Then the door opened and in walked the nurse. "Ah good, your awake!"

Otto quickly hushed her and gestured to Trixie.  

"Oh sorry." She replied in hushed voice. "I was coming to check on you." She said.

"It's ok." He replied.

"I'll leave you two alone." She said, a bit of a smirk coming to her lips.

As she walks out he called her.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Do you know vhere my stuff is?" He asked.

"It's all in the hospital claim area, when your released you'll get it all back." She replied.

"Ok, zhanks for telling me." He said a little relieved.

Then the door slammed open which startled them and woke Trixie up. Otto looked to find a familiar purple pony standing at the door.

"Vat ze hell Twilight?" Otto said.

"Sorry, I was a bit... Excited about talking to you." She replied, a little bit embarrassed.

Otto heard Trixie moan. "Did you have to slam it so hard." Asked Trixie, rubbing her forehead.

"So... Vat kind of questions did you have for me Ms. Twilight?" Asked Otto.

"Well for one, why do you talk that way?" She asked.

"Vhat do you mean?" He asked.

"You keep saying things like vhat and zhat." She said.

"Zhat's just my accent, I normally speak German but I'm trying to speak English so zhat you can all understand me." He replied.

"English? Never mind, Hmm... Ok, second question, where are you from?" She asked. "Because some of your stuff is unlike anything I've ever seen." She said.

"Vell... Let's just say that I'm from a VERY far away place." He replied.

"How far are we talking?" Asked Twilight.

"To tell the truth I don't know" He said.

"I'm from a place called Germany, on a planet called earth."  Said Otto.

Twilight swore once again that the name sounded familiar.

"Well whatever this planet earth is, your far from it, your on a planet we call equiss."

Otto tried thinking if he learned of a planet called equiss during school.

"By any chance, are we in the MilkyWay galaxy?" Asked Otto.

"No, the Milky Way is about 276 light years away."

Otto felt like a train had just crashed into his brain, on one hand, it atleast scratched off the idea of a different dimension, knowing that wherever he is, his home was still there, on the other hand he probably wouldn't be able to get back.

"How zhe hell did steiners machine teleport me 276 light years?" Otto thought aloud.

"What do you mean? And who's Steiner?" Asked twilight.

"Uhm, never mind, next question?" Otto said, trying to change the subject.

"Well you said you where the captain of a sub... What is a sub?" She asked a little bit of curiosity in her voice.

"Vell... To put in a simple way, it's a ship that uses ballast tanks to float on vater and to sail under vater as well." He said.

"Could you give more detail?" She asked.

"Vell, it's hard to explain... It would be easier to show you." He replied.

"Ok..." She said, a bit disappointed.

"So Otto..." Said Trixie.

"Vhat is it Trixie?" Asked Otto.

"Whats that you have for a cutie mark?" She asked.

"Cutie Vhat?" He said.

"Cutie mark." Said Twilight. "It's the mark on your flank. It shows your special talent. Or it's suppose to anyways..." She said.

He looked down to see what looked to be the picture of a torpedo.

"Zat is a torpedo. It's a veapon zhat a U-Boat launches from tubes placed in the front." Said Otto.

"Oh, ok." Said Trixie.

"Is your planet advanced in technology?" Asked Twilight.

"Vell ja, zhough I can't tell you if vhere more advanced zhan you or not since zhe only zhings I've seen are vhat's in zhis room." Replied Otto.

"Hmm, you said a torpedo is a weapon right?" Asked twilight.

"Ja, zhat is correct."

"Is your planet advanced in war technology?"

Otto sighed,"Unfortunately, yes, intact just about the entire planet is all participating in what we call World War Two.

"Hmm..... *gasp* I know!!!" Exclaimed Twilight.

"Know vhat?" Asked Otto.

"I can use a spell i recently found to make you instantly heal!!!" She said.

"Spell?" Asked Otto.

"Yeah!!! Wait... Do Ya'll have magic were your from?" Asked Twilight.

"Nein... Ve have science vhere i'm from. Magic is just a myth zhere." Replied Otto.

"Really?" Asked Twilight.

"Ja..."He said.

"Well here things are the opposite, most of are culture is based on magic." She said.

"Zhats cool!" Exclaimed Otto.

"Hey... Since i have a horn, does zhat mean i could use magic?" He asked, excitement in his voice.

"Yeah! And since your an alicorn your magic is stronger than normal unicorns!"

"Alicorn?" He asked.

"Yeah, alicorns are like unicorns, except they live longer, have wings, are usually bigger than the normal pony, and are considerably more powerful. Hmm... Now that i think about they aren't that similar actually." She said.

Otto looked over to where Trixie, who was being very quiet, was sitting and saw that she was staring at him in an odd way. "Uhm... Is every zhing ok Trixie?" Asked Otto.

Trixie instantly shook her head as if shaking out of a trance and blushed. "Yeah, Trix- Err, i mean, I am fine." Replied Trixie.

"Anyways ill go get the nurse before I try the healing spell." Said Twilight.

"Ok Twilight." Said Otto.

When Twilight left, Otto and Trixie sat in silence for a while. "O-Otto..." Said Trixie.

Otto turned to see Trixie looking at the ground, blushing. "Uhm... is every zhing ok Trixie?" Asked Otto.

*sigh* "O-Otto, I-I...." She begins but is cut off by the door opening again.

"Ok Twilight, you can try your spell but try not to make things worse." Otto heard nurse RedHeart say.

"Don't worry I'm certain it will work." Said Twilight.

Like I haven't heard that before, thought Otto remembering Steiner and what the doctor had said before he was teleported here.

"So Twilight, lets get zhis spell done shall ve?" Asked Otto.

"Ok Otto, this may hurt a little." Said Twilight.

"Heh, can't be vorse zhan some of zhe zhings I've gone zhrough." Said Otto.

Twilights horn began to glow with a purple aura, and the same aura started surrounding him. It felt fussy like it did when Trixie removed the bandages. Then he felt sharp pains move throughout his body and after what felt like an eternity of pain, he felt relief and then he felt even better than before.

"Well? Did it work?" Asked Twilight.

"Vell, it doesn't hurt anymore." Replied Otto.

"Try standing." Said nurse RedHeart.

Otto got out of the bed and stood on his hind legs. "Uhm... Try standing correctly please." She said.

"I am standing correctly." He replied.

"That's not how ponies stand Mr. Kretschmer." She said.

"Oh right!!" He said. "Zhat's how ve stand vhere I'm from." Said Otto.

"Uhuh... Well, I dont know where your from, but that's not a natural way for ponies to stand." She said.

"Well, is he good to go Ms. RedHeart?" Asked Twilight.

RedHeart looked Otto up and down and nodded. "He seems fine for release, I'll go get the paper work and release forms." She said.

She walked out of the, room and soon a question came to Otto's mind. "Uhm... Vere am I going to stay vhen I get out of here?" Asked Otto.

"You can stay in my castle for a couple of days." Offered Twilight.

"Castle?" Asked Otto.

"Yeah! Do y'all have castles were your from?" She asked.

"Vell... Zhere are a few but most of zhem are just falling apart. Ve don't have many monarchy based countries." Said Otto.

"Hmm... Well Tonight your going to sleep in one." Said Twilight.

"I look Forward to it." Said Otto.

The nurse came back in holding a clipboard with papers in her mouth. She setted them on the bed next to Otto. "Ok just fill those out and your good to go." She said.

"Zhank you." Said Otto.

The nurse left the room, and Otto tried to pick up the clipboard. "Uhm... How do i pick this up?" Asked Otto.

"Use magic of course." said Twilight, Rolling her eyes.

"I don't know how to." Said Otto.

"Just concentrate on it." She said, annoyed.

Otto tried concentrating on it but after awhile he started to feel light headed and stopped slightly huffing. "Man, zhis is harder zhan I zhought." He said.

Twilight giggled. "It takes practice." She said.

Otto began concentrating again on the clip board, after three or five minutes he got light headed again. "Uhg, come on!!" He yelled.

"Slow down Otto, or else you'll just hurt yourself trying." Said Twilight.

"yeah, one time i tried a difficult spell and it put me in the hospital for a week." Said Trixie.

"Hmm..." Otto tried concentrating harder. This time after a minute or two, a Blue aura started forming around his horn and then slowly around the clipboard. "YES!" He yelled in excitement.

"Good job Otto, now here's a quill to write with." She levitated a quill over to him.

"Zhank you." He took it in his own magic and started to fill the forms out. Though it was a bit difficult since it was all in English.




An hour, later they stood in the lobby waiting for the nurse to approve the form once she did approve, and Otto got his stuff, they started walking to the door. 

"Man, it feels good to valk again. My legs are super stiff from laying down for so long." Said Otto.

As they got closer to the door they heard some sort of commotion coming from out side, and they started running towards the door. When they got outside they saw a gathering of ponies outside, and they didn't look happy...

Otto, Twilight, and Trixie walked out of the hospital to find a gathering of ponies surrounding the doors. "There she is!!" Yelled a stallion when Trixie came out of the door.

"Yeah there's the mare that enslaved!!" Yelled a mare. More ponies started yelling and surrounding the three of them.

"Wait I'm sorry for what I've done but please just-" Before Trixie could finish, a rock hit her in the head and caused her to start bleeding badly.

"No one gives a buck if your sorry!!" Yelled a pony that Otto couldn't see. When he saw Trixie on the ground bleeding and whimpering, it caused him to mentally snap.

He pulled his luger out of its holster and looked around at the sea of angry ponies who where still yelling at Trixie, even though she was clearly hurt, physically and mentally.

He shouted trying to get the ponies attention, even twilight seemed to have trouble getting their attention. Then he fired the pistol into the air the sounded seeming to instantly silence every one and then causing the ponies closest to him to cover there ears which were most likely ringing right now. "Zhere, zhats better. Now vhy are you all treating zhis mare like zhis, as far as i know she hasn't done anything vrong."

"The last time she was here she enslaved us all!!" Yelled a pony somewhere in the back of the crowd. Then the rest of the crowd started yelling. Otto fired into the air once again silencing the group.

"Vell, I dont care vhat she did last time she vas here. I just know zhat she saved my life." This earned a gasp from a few of the ponies. "And look vhat you all have done." He pointed to Trixie, who was still crying and bleeding from her head.

"Just who the hay do you think you are?" He heard a mare yell. He looked over to see an orange mare wearing a cowboy hat.

"My name is Captain Otto Kretschmer. I'm in charge of U-99, or vas before i vas accidentally teleported here." Replied Otto. "And vho are you?"

"Otto Kretschmer? Thats an odd name don't ya think? Names AppleJack." She said.

"Vell, AppleJack here my name may be ridiculous, but if you lived vhere I vas from, zhen zhe very mention of my name vould send you running... especially on the vater." Said Otto, a sinister tone in his voice.

"Ah ain't afraid of you." Replied AppleJack.

"You should be." Replied Otto coldly.

"AJ! Otto! Stop!" The two looked up to see Twilight looking at them clearly afraid.

"AppleJack,This stallion just got out of the hospital so be nice. Besides, he's still an alicorn." Said Twilight.

"What?!" AJ instantly noticed Otto's wings. "Ahm sorry Mr. Kretschmer, ah didn't mean any disrespect. Ah was Jus-" Otto raised a hoof to silence her.

"Do not vorry my friend. I don't hold grudges against people err... Ponies vho make mistakes." Said Otto. This seemed to give AJ some relief.

"Now, back to Trixie." Said Otto. "Don't you zhink someone deserves a second chance?" Asked Otto.

"Yeah, but she has already failed that second chance." Said AJ.

"Ok, vhat did she do zhe first time?" Asked Otto.

"She made fun of every one and acted like a show off." She said.

"Ok, vhat else happened?"

"Well, two colts brought an Ursa minor into ponyville, and when she was unable to defeat it like she had bragged about being able to do. Twilight ended up defeating it." She said.

"Ok, vell don't you think that might have been a little embarrassing for her?" He asked.

"Yeah, I guess so..." She said.

"Embarrassing enough to vant to get back at the pony vho caused zhe embarrassment?"

"Yeah... But it still doesn't make up for how she treated us the second time!!!" Yelled AJ.

"Zhat may be true, but my understanding is zhat she vas being corrupted by the amulet, zhus she had no control over vhat she did, or very little if any, now she saved my life. How does hurting her make you all better than her?" Said Otto.

AJ seemed to be caught off guard by this statement. "I... I... I don't know..." She said.

"I zhink you all owe Trixie an apology." He said to the entire crowd. There was a couple of sorrys but for the most part the crowd remained silent.

"You ok Trixie?" Otto asked.

"Y-yes..." She said, still bleeding a little but has stopped crying. "Thank you Otto."

"Hey you vere being hurt for no good reason, I couldn't just stand here and vatch." He said.

Turning to the entire crowd, "now anyone vho vants to hurt Trixie shall have to answer to me and suffer zhe consequences.
"Now, Twilight. Shall ve head for your castle?" Asked Otto.

"Right, of course. Follow me." They walked towards a castle that wasn't hard to notice. As they made there way he caught a few ponies glaring at Trixie every now and when he did he'd give a threatening glare right back to them witch made them quickly turn and run.

As they got closer to the castle he noticed that it seemed to be shining. In fact it didn't even look like it was stone or the color of stone for that matter. It looked like... "Crystal?" Asked Otto.

"Yes indeed, the entire castle is made of crystal, though its not as impressive as the crystal empire." Said Twilight.

"Crystal EMPIRE?" Asked Otto.

"Yes! In fact my brother is the king there." She said

"Interesting..." Said Otto deep in thought.

"Well, here we are." Said twilight, gesturing to the large crystal doors in front of them.

"Zhis is amazing!" Exclaimed Otto.

"Yeah Twilight, this castle is amazing!" Said Trixie.

"Heh, you havent even seen the inside yet." With that she opened the door, and Otto and Trixie were frozen with awe.

""You veren't joking vhen you said zhis entire place is made of crystal." Said Otto.

"Nope, it's all crystal." Said Twilight.

"Isn't that kind of dangerous?" Asked Trixie. "Because, doesn't that mean the entire castle is fragile?"

"Well-" Twilight began, but was interrupted by a loud crash.

"Oops, sorry!!" Yelled someones voice.

*sigh* "Yes... Very fragile..." They heard someone coming from where they heard the crash.

Otto couldn't prepare himself for what he saw next. He saw a tiny purple dragon come through the door way. "Oh uh, hey Twilight." Said the dragon who stilll had a few shards of crystal in is skin though he didn't seem to notice them.

*sigh* "What did you break this time?" Asked Twilight, as if she was use to this.

"A book shelf..." Said the dragon.

"Another one?!?!" Asked Twilight.

"Yeah..." Replied the dragon.

*Sigh* "Well... Since your here anyways spike. I'd like you to meet are guest. This is Otto Kretschmer." She said to the dragon. "Otto, this is spike." She noticed Otto had a bit of a worried look on his face. "Don't worry spikes harmless." She said reassuringly.

"If you say so... Nice to meet you spike." Said Otto.

"Nice to meet you Mr. Kretschmer." Replied Spike. Then he looked behind them and his eyes widened. "Her again!!"

Otto and Twilight turned to see Trixie. "Oh yeah and Trixi-" Before she finished Spike lunged at Trixie and pinned her down to the ground.

"You have some nerve to show yourself here after what you did last." He said, right before he scratched her cheek with his claws.

"SPIKE!!!" Yelled Otto and Twilight in unison.

"What?" Said Spike.

"Have you lost your mind Spike?!?!" Yelled Twilight.

Then he was thrown off by Trixie and she said, "Spikes right i have no right to be here, I'm never showing myself here again!!!" She yelled while tears welled up in her eyes, and then she ran out of the castle.

"Trixie vait!!!" Yelled Otto.

"Zhanks a lot Spike, now you've gone and made her run off!" Otto yelled out in anger, and with that he ran out hoping to find Trixie.

"What did you do that for spike?!?!" Yelled Twilight.

"I thought she was evil and... and..." He stammered

"She just saved a stallions life!! Otto's life to be precise!" Yelled a now furious Twilight.

"I... I..." Spike felt incredibly guilty, and began to cry.

"Oh,  please don't cry spike, its not your fault, you didn't know." Said Twilight who hugged Spike.

"I-i'm sorry I d-didn't know she was g-good, I thought she was going to h-hurt y'all." Spiked stammered.

"Hush now, everything will be alright." Twiligt said. "I hope Trixie hasn't gotten to far." Twilight thought out loud.

Else where in the everfree

Otto was running after Troxie who he almost missed her as she ran into the everfree. He quickly ran after her. But now he had a problem... He was lost! 

"TRIXIE VHERE ARE YOU!!!" Yelled Otto.

He was worried, and feared the worse about her. He was also afraid that she would never come back after the day she just endured.

"Spike vhen I get back your dead, if I don't find her." He muttered under his voice.

Suddenly a bolt of electricity zapped the ground right I front of, causing him to jump back. "Stay back!!" He heard some one yell.

He looked to where he saw the bolt come from, and found Trixie standing a few feet away. "Trixie it's me!!!" He said to her.

"Otto? What are you doing here?" She asked.

"I came looking for you! Vhy did you run?" He asked.

"Because spike was right, I don't belong there." She replied.

"No he's not, you do belong zhere. Your a nice and caring mare, and you have as much a right as anyone else." Said Otto.

"No I don't, I had hurt so many ponies while I was there the last time I came!" She yelled beginning to cry.

"Trixie please! You need to come back!" Said Otto.

"Why? So that they can just mock me, and hurt me more?" Asked Trixie.

"No, you need to come back so ve can make zhings right." Replied Otto. "And I promise, I von't let anypony hurt you, and if zhey do zhey'll pay dearly." Said Otto, but putting a sinister tone in the last sentence.

*sigh* "Look Otto I'm not going back, ok?" She said.

"Please Trixie ve can show zhe others zhat you've changed. Ve've already convinced a large portion of the town zhat your good, so please come back." Otto said hoping to convince Trixie.

*sigh* "Fine..." Trixie said finally.

"Zhank you Trixie, now let's go before nightfall come around." He said.

In Twilights castle

Twilight had been pacing in the main hall hoping that Otto and Trixie would come back.

Soon the door opened and she was relieved to see them walking in. "Oh thank goodness your back!!" Yelled Twilight cheerfully.

"Twilight do you have any first aid kits?" Asked Otto.

"Yeah, I'll have Spike go get one." Replied Twilight

"NO!" Yelled Otto, which scared Twilight. "I mean no. Spikes done enough as it is." Replied Otto, more calmly this time.

"I'm really sorry I didn't mean to do that." Said a voice behind them.

Otto turned to see spike standing behind them he was looking down with a guiltfull face. "Vhy did you attack Trixie like zhat?" Asked Otto

"I'm really sorry that I hurt her like that, I didn't know she was good and no one told me, so I was just being protective." He said, and held out a box with a red cross on it, which Otto guessed was a first aid kit.

"I forgive you." Said Trixie.

Otto looked to see Trixie was still bleeding. "Come on Trixie let's get you cleaned up."

Fifteen to twenty minutes later, Otto and Trixie walked into the main hall where Twilight and Spike were waiting.

"There you are me and Spike were worried about you." Said Twilight.

"Sorry, the cuts were deeper than I thought." Replied Otto. "For a baby dragon you can really hurt someone when you want to." Otto said to Spike.

"Well spike's still harmless." Said Twilight.

"Pfff, harmless my ass." Replied Otto.

The statement seemed to confuse the others. "In other words I'm not gonna believe zhat unless you can prove it." Said Otto, a bit annoyed.

"Well, spike prepared dinner." Offered Twilight.

Otto suddenly realized how hungry he was. He hadn't eaten since breakfast on the U-boat right before he was teleported to equestria. "Hmm, I am hungry." Said Otto.

They were all sitting at a ridiculously long table waiting for Spike to serve the food. "Spike is a great cook, I'm sure you'll love his food." Said Twilight.

As if on cue, Spike came in holding some platters in his hands.

"I hope y'all enjoy your food." He said.

Though Otto wasn't paying attention, he was busy trying to keep himself from laughing at the apron Spike was wearing.

Twilight seemed to notice this. "Is everything alright Otto?" She asked.

Once Otto was able to gain enough composure, "ja, I'm fine it's just his apron." He replied.

"Oh..." Is all Twilight said.

"What's wrong with my apron?" Asked Spike.

"Zhere's nothing vrong vith it, it's just you don't usually see a guy vearing a heart apron." Replied Otto. "I didn't mean any disrespect, I just found it funny."

"How about we eat, ok?" Offered Trixie.

"Yes, maybe we should eat." Agreed Twilight.

Spike layed out the platters and then every one opened theirs. Though when Otto opened his he found What looked like a hamburger with hay.

"Umm... What is zhis?" Asked Otto.

"A hayburger of course. What, you've never seen one?" Asked spike.

"No... I've seen a HAMburger before zhough." Replied Otto.

"Hamburger?" Asked Twilight.

"It's like zhis hayburger but instead of hay it has beef." Said Otto.

"Beef?" Asked Twilight.

Then Otto relized something, "ugh, of course you don't know vhat I'm talking about, your all vegetarians." He said while doing a facehoof.

"Yeah... Wait, your a carnivore?" She asked moving away a little bit.

"Vell I'm an omnivore, meaning I eat both meat and vegetable. Zhough I prefer meat because it taste better." He said.

"What ARE you?" Asked Twilight.

"Vell I'm a pony like you right now, but before I got here I vas a human." Replied Otto.

"A HUMAN!!" Exclaimed Twilight.

"Yeah, vhy?" He asked.

"No reason..." She said, though she was obviously hiding something. 

Suddenly Spike started coughing. "Is everything ok spike?" Asked Otto

Suddenly burped a flame and a scroll appeared. "Finally she replied." Said Twilight.

"Vho?" Asked Otto.

"Princess Celestia." She said.

"Oh... Vell, vhat did she say?" He asked.

She read through the letter and the started to smile. "She wants to meet you! Tomorrow!" She exclaimed.

"How does she know about me?" Asked Otto.

"Oh, in my letters the past two days I've been telling her about you." Said Twilight.

"Vell ok, I guess I'll be seeing her tomorrow then." Said Otto.

He tried a bite of the food and he actually liked it. "Vow, vho vould have known that hay could taste good."

"So Twilight."

"Yes Otto?" Replied Twilight.

"Do you have a library here?" Asked Otto.

"Of course I do, I'm quite the bookworm." She said with pride.

"Vell, if you need me zhats vhere I'll be." He said, getting up from the table, and left the room.

"What do you think he's going to research?" Asked Trixie.

"I don't know Trixie, I don't know..." Replied Twilight.

The next morning Otto woke up and got dressed. He got almost no sleep last night  but was use to it so he went ahead and headed down to the library to read more on a certain spell he found last night.

He read for around forty five minutes, when he heard voices coming down the hall way. The doors opened and he saw Twilight and Trixie walk in.

"Oh there you are Otto, we were wondering where you went." Said Twilight.

"I've been in here all morning... And most of last night." Said Otto.

"When did you go to sleep last night?" Asked Twilight.

"Somewhere around three in zhe morning." Said Otto.

"Three in the morning? Aren't you tired?" Asked Twilight.

"Nah, I'm use to getting very little sleep." Replied Otto.

"If you say so. Are you ready to meet the princess?" Asked Twilight.

"Yeah, I vas just trying to learn a spell before ve go." Replied Otto.

"Ooo, what kind of spell?" She asked.

"You'll see." He said.

"Ok then, let's make are way for the train station. Trixie will you be coming?" Said Twilight.

"No, I'll be staying here." She said.

"Ok, try not to break anything." Said Twilight.

"Don't worry, I'm not clumsy like Spike." Said Trixie.

Twilight started to giggle. "Yeah, your right. Stay out of trouble while we're gone." Said Twilight.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Said Trixie.

"Come on Otto we don't want to miss the train." Said Twilight.

And with that, Otto and Twilight made their way to the train station.

Ten minutes later, Twilight, Otto, and many other non-important ponies were waiting on the station platform.

"So Twilight, how long exactly is zhe trip?" Asked Otto.

"Around twelve hours." Replied Twilight.

"Twelve hours?!?!" Exclaimed Otto.

"Yeah, why?" Asked Twilight.

"Vhy is it so long?" Asked Otto.

"Well, our trains can only go at a maximum of ten miles an hour, plus the technology is still pretty new to us." Said Twilight.

"Hmm... I wanted to wait to do this but I think I can show you the spell I was reading on." Said Otto.

"Which spell exactly did you read about?" Asked Twilight.

"You'll see..." Said Otto.

Soon they felt the platform start to vibrate, and in the distance they saw the train coming. After a minute or two it finally pulled into the station.

"You call zhat a train? It's so tiny." Said Otto.

"What's this spell you want to test?" Asked Twilight.

"You'll see... But it may cause a bit of a delay, so zhat I can perform it properly." Said Otto.

"Ok, I'll go talk to the conductor." Said Twilight.

THIRTY SECONDS LATER

"NO NO NO! I'm on a very tight schedule, and have no room for delays!!" Said the train conductor.

"My companion over there says if his spell works it will let the train get to where it needs to be ahead of schedule." Said Twilight.

"Hmm... Ahead of schedule you say? Fine, but it better work or your paying for the money that I lose." Said the conductor.

"Thank you." Said Twilight.

"Come on Otto, let's not waste any time." Said Twilight.

"Ok, but keep everyone away from zhe train so zhat no one has zhe possibility to get hurt." Said Otto.

"Ok, but hurry Otto, like the conductor said, we're on a tight schedule too." Said Twilight.

Otto the turned to face the train. He began focusing his magic on the actual part that pulls the train cars.

Twilight watched as he did his work. One thing she noticed was that instead of his normal blue aura, his magic had a purplish green aura. Something she hadn't seen since the battle in the crystal empire...

She saw the train begin to glow and after a few seconds she heard metal start to buckle and bend as if the train was collapsing in on its self.

And then it vanished, and after ten to twenty seconds later something unexpected happened. A new machine appeared in the old trains place it looked like a train but was much larger and longer than the ponyville express.



Twilight couldn't believe her eyes, Otto had made a train of some kind appear out of thin air, even though days ago he could barely even levitate a quill!

She looked at Otto to congradulate him, but when she did she could see he was under a lot of strain and his horn was still glowing, and then his eyes had a slight green tint to them.

"Otto?" She asked, but he didn't seem to hear her.

"Otto!" She called again, this time he began shaking his head and he was blinky really fast.

"H-huh? V-vhat happened?" He asked.

"I don't know, but your spell worked." Replied Twilight.

"H-heh, zhats gut." He said, right before he passed out.

Later Otto felt himself become more and more conscious again.

"Otto? Otto, wake up!" He heard Twilight yelling.

"Ok, ok I'm up." Said Otto.

"Vhere are ve?" Asked Otto.

"We're still at the station. The engineer can't figure out how the train works." Replied Twilight.

"Vell, I guess I should help him out zhen." Said Otto.

"How long have I been out?" Asked Otto.

"Just a few minutes actually." Replied Twilight.

Otto made his way to the front of the train, where he heard the conductor and engineer yelling.

"Hurry up and get this thing moving you bloke!" Yelled the conductor.

"I'm trying sir, but I can't read any of these labels." Said the engineer.

"Uh-hem, Maybe I can help?" Said Otto, getting the two stallions attention.

"Go ahead and try, I don't care how it's done, just get this thing moving." Said the conductor.

A few minutes later Otto had shown the engineer the basics on how to work the train.

"Ok, so to get it moving I pull this lever back and push this one forward?" Asked the engineer.

"Yes, but make sure to constantly feed it coal or else it's fire box will die and it won't run." Said Otto.

Two minutes later the train was puffing and steaming down the railroad.

An hour later, "this is incredible we're at 60 miles per hour and the speed is still rising!" Said the engineer. "At this rate we'll be at canterlot within the next ten minutes."

Sure enough, nine minutes later they pulled into canterlot station.

Though soon ponies in armor and holding spears ran up to the train. 

"Vhat's going on?" Otto asked the engineer.

"Meh, they probably just came to check the train since this isn't the train we usually come in." Replied the engineer.

Once everything had been sorted out with the guards, Otto and Twilight made their way towards the castle.

"Zhis place is amazing!" Said Otto, as they walked through the streets of canterlot.

"Indeed, it is." Replied Twilight.

"So Twilight, how come almost none of the ponies in ponyville vear clothing, yet here it seems everyone vears clothing." Asked Otto.

"Well, each city or town has it's own fashion style' ponyville tends to not have one like most others do, we really only wear clothing for special events." Said Twilight. "Why do you ask?"

"Vell in my world, ve vear clothing all zhe time, it's sort of required, ve vear clothing for two reasons, one, to look nice, two, is to hide some of are most private parts." Said Otto.

"Interesting, you said you were from the human world right?" Asked Twilight.

"I'm from earth, yes." Said Otto.

"Hmm, well, come on, lets get to the castle." Said Twilight.

They continued walking towards the castle every now and then Otto would ask a question and Twilight would answer it. Though completely oblivious to the pegasus following them.

Once they reached the castle, they had no problem with guards since they've seen Twilight hundreds of times.

"Huh, zhis castle is nice but not as impressive as yours." Said Otto.

"Heh, well this castle was actually built by hoof, mine, believe it or not, was grown." Said Twilight.

"Grown?" Asked Otto.

"It's a long story, besides we're here." She said as they came up to a large set of doors. "The throne room is right through here." Said Twilight.

They walked through the room Twilight went through, but when he went through he was suddenly tackled. "Hey! Vhats going on!" Yelled Otto.

He looked to see two guards pinning him down. "Vhat are you doing?! I haven't done anything vrong!" Said Otto.

Suddenly a midnight-blue colored mare appeared in front of him. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?" Asked the mare.

"I am captain Otto Kretschmer, and I vas told to come here so I can meet princess Celestia." Said Otto.

"Oh my apologies, you must be the one twilight has been telling me and my sister about." Replied the mare.

"Vho are you?" Asked Otto.

"I am princess luna." Replied the mare.

"Uhm, can you get zhese guards off me?" Asked Otto.

"Oh sorry." She nodded to the guards, who reluctantly got off him.

"Sorry, they tend to take their job seriously around new faces." Said Luna.

"Where is Celestia?" Asked Twilight.

"She is having a meeting with a representative from Saddle Arabia." Replied Luna.

"Vell I guess ve'll have to vait zhen." Said Otto.

The waited for Celestia, Twilight and Luna made small talk, while Otto thought about how this meeting would go.

Soon a door at the end of the room next to the thrones opened. "Thank you your highness, and as long as you keep your end of the deal we'll continue to supply you with resources." He heard a males voice say.

"Thank you ambassador, and do not worry equestria keeps it's promises true." He heard a female voice say.

A stallion walked down the hall, giving a slight bow as he passed them and walked out the door looking rather pleased.

"Hello Twilight." Said some one voice from behind him, and turned to see a rather tall, white alicorn walking towards them.

"Hello Celestia." Said Twilight.

"And who is this you've brought with you miss sparkle?" Asked Celestia, giving a warm smile towards Otto.

"I-I'm captain Otto Kretschmer, your highness." He said, getting on his hind legs and doing a salute.

"Are you ok mister Kretschmer?" Asked Celestia.

"Y-yes, why do you ask?" Asked Otto.

"Uhm, your standing on your hind legs and putting your hoof on your head." Said Celestia.

"I'm saluting, don't your guards salute?" Said Otto.

"They do but not like that. Plus your not in are military so it's not necessary for you to salute me, especially since your technically a prince because your an alicorn." Replied Celestia.

"Right... Vell, why did you ask me to come here?" Asked Otto.

"Well, being in charge of equestria, I need to make sure my subjects are safe therefore I need to make sure new faces aren't a threat to others." Said Celestia.

"Celestia before we go on, I need to go through that mirror so I can ask somepony something in the... Other world." Said Twilight.

"Of course Twilight, go ahead." Said Celestia.

"Y'all can continue with out me, I'll probably be awhile." Said Twilight.

Twilight walked out the room and then Celestia turned to Otto. "Now Mister Kretschmer, I have a few questions for you." Said twilight.

"Vell, ask away." Said Otto.

"Well, where are you from?"

"Uhm, vell, I vas born in Legnica, Poland. Before I vas teleported here, I vas in Lorient, German occupied France."

"These countries do not sound familiar to me, are you even from our world?"

"No, like I said, I vas teleported here."

"Interesting... How were you teleported?"

"A scientist by the name of Steiner built a machine, zhat it's purpose vas to do just zhat, teleport zhings. But during the test zhings vent... Vrong..."

"I see... But still tell me. What planet are you from?"

"Earth"

"Earth?"

"Yes, is zhere something vrong vith zhat?"

"N-no, it's just I've heard myths about it. Though after one of Twilights adventures, most of those myths were made just that, myths." Said Celestia.

"Vell, is zhere anything else you vant to know?"

"Well, what exactly do you do?"

"Vell, you see, I'm zhe captain of a U-Boat."

"U-Boat?"

"It's a ship zhat can sail under vater."

"Interesting, and what exactly are these U-Boats used for?"

"Vell, zhey're used to get behind enemy ships and zhen launch torpedoes at zhem."

"Torpedoes?"

"Yes, it's zhis zhing I have on my flank." He said showing her, his cutie mark.

"Well you and your society seem rather advanced... Hmm... The new train wouldn't happen to be your doing would it?" She asked.

"Indeed it is." He said.

"I thought so..."

"Vell, anything else you vant to know."

"Well, I'm guessing you have naval experience, correct?"

"Indeed, in fact I have a lot of experience."

"Ok, here's the deal, I'm afraid equestria is on the brink of war with an empire over seas that calls itself the "empire of the Royal Navy", and every peace comity we send never comes back... except for one, but when it came back there was only one member of it alive and he seemed to have gone insane. He had a note from the empire." said Celestia before handing Otto a note that he quickly read.

don't send another comity they'll just end up dead like the rest, this is your one and only warning, abandon your country and make way for the Royal Navy or feel the wrath of Winston Churchill!!

No, it can't be the same Winston Churchill can it? Otto thought to himself.

"Otto, as you have seen, we are in no condition to fight an empire on the seas. We have no navy, and then our coastal defenses are small, we only have a few ballistas and roughly one thousand guards."

"Ok, vhat do you vant me to do?"

"How would you like to equestrias first admiral of the navy?" Asked Celestia.

"M-me?"

"Yes, seeing as you have experience in this kind warfare you'd be the perfect choice." Said Celestia.

"It vould be an honor your majesty." He said, giving another salute.

"Then congratulations admiral. I will leave the navy preparations to you, do not disappoint me mister Kretschmer."

"Vait your just giving me full command just like zhat?"

"Yes, is that a problem?" 

"Not really, I just find it surprising zhat your giving me an honor like zhis as if it's nothing."

"Well... I see your point but equestria is on the verge of war, and we don't have time for the formal things."

"I see, vell you can count on me your majesty."

"Please, call me Celestia."

"Ok Celestia."

"Well, I leave you in command of the navy, do what you must to protect our nation."

"Yes your highness err... Celestia."

Celestia nodded, "now go and do what you must." And with that Otto walked out of the room.

I wonder what Twilight is up to thought Otto.





Canterlot High

4:28 P.M

Sunset shimmer and her new friends were sitting in front of the school talking, when suddenly there was a bright flash. They looked to find twilight sprawled on the ground in front  of the statue.

"Twilight?!" They all said in unison.

Twilight found herself sprawled on the ground a little dazed but soon gained full consciousness, she saw multi colored blurs standing around her and was aware of muffled voice talking.

Then after a little bit the voice became more clear and she heard her name being called.

"Twilight? Twilight? Twilight!"

*groan* "I don't remember feeling dazed like this last I used the portal." Said Twilight.

Then her vision began clearing and she saw her human friends standing around her. 

"Oh hey girls!" Said twilight.

"Hey twilight, is everything alright?" Asked AppleJack.

"Yeah, sort of..." Said Twilight, a little unsure if everything was ok.

"Come on Twi, you can tell us." Said AJ.

"Well, you see, a new stallion appeared in equestria, but he claims to be from your world, or at least a human world." Said Twilight.

"What's he like?" Asked Rainbow Dash.

"Well his color is tan, he has blonde hair, and blue eyes." Said Twilight. "He also wears a blue uniform and says he's part of something called the 'Kriegsmarine' and says he's the captain of a U-Boat, whatever that is."

"Hmm... We'll are naval history teacher just got through talking about U-Boats and the Kriegsmarine a few days ago. What's this guys name?" asked Rainbow Dash.

"His name is Otto Kretschmer." She replies, this gets a few giggles from her friends.

"What's so funny?" Asked Twilight.

"Otto Kretschmer? Don't you find that a bit funny Twi?" Asks Pinkie.

"Well, Maybe a little."  She replied starting to giggle herself.

"Anyways I'll take you to are naval history teacher if you'd like." Said Rainbow Dash.

"I would very much appreciate that." Said Twilight.

They walked through the school following rainbow dash. Soon they came up to a door labeled 'history of naval warfare'.

Rainbow Dash mocked on the door, " come in." Said a voice from the other side of the door.

"Hello mister Fredrick." Said Rainbow Dash.

*sigh* "Hello missed Dash, I'm sorry but as... Pleasuring... As your extra credit sessions are I don't have time right now." Said some one who was facing away from them, so Twilight couldn't get a good look at him.

"Heh, um, actually mister Fredrick, my friend here had a few questions for you." Said Rainbow Dash.

The person turned around and looked at them, "Oh excuse me for my assumption, what is it you wanted to ask?" He said.

He had skin like Otto's but he had brown eyes and graying hair, he had a few wrinkles on his face, he wore glasses, a grayish-blue trench coat, and a black tie.

"Hello my name is Twilight Sparkle, my friends said you could tell me about someone.

"Well, that depends." Replied Fredrick.

"Does the name 'Otto' ring a bell?" Asked Twilight.

He chuckled "Miss Sparkle I am from Germany I know a lot of people named Otto." He replied.

"Does 'silent Otto' ring a bell?" Asked Twilight.

His face paled when she mentioned the name and looked as if he saw a ghost.

"W-where did you here that name?" He said as if he was hiding something.

She saw Fredrick slowly reaching for some thing under his desk, rainbow noticed this too.

"Uhm, he appeared in my world two days ago." Said Twilight a bit nervous.

There was a soft click from under the desk that he was reaching under.

"Uhm, mister Fredrick, what are you grabbing under there?" Asked Rainbow Dash.

"Uhm..." Is the only noise he makes.

He looks down at where his hand is and at them.

Suddenly the rest of Twilights friends come in.

"Hey Twilight we were just coming to check on ya-" Apple jack begins to say but stops when she sees the nervous look on Twilight and their teacher.

"What on earth is going on?" Asked Rarity.

Fredrick quickly jumped up, and pulled a Luger like Otto's, out from under the desk.

"Woah, woah, woah! Hang on there. There's no need for the gun mister Fredrick!" Said RainbowDash.

"Miss sparkle how did you here that name?" Asked Fredrick.

"I told you already. He appeared in my world two days ago!" Said Twilight.

"B-but that's impossible... I saw him disappear seventy years ago!" He said. "Y-your lying!"

"No I'm not! I'm telling the truth!"

The teacher kept the pistol pointed at them, deep in thought.

Then suddenly Rainbow Dash jumped at him, knocking him down which caused him to drop the pistol and knock over a cabinet.

Twilight and the others ran up to the downed teacher to find that he was unconscious but not dead at least.

"Rainbow Dash what where you thinking!" Yelled Twilight.

"Uhm guys, come look at this." They heard Rainbow Dash say.

They turned to see her looking in the cabinet that had been knocked over, they walked over and saw what she was looking at.

In the cabinet was a uniform similar to Otto's, a couple photo graphs, and varies other things that she couldn't tell what they were.

RainbowDash pulled out a swastika banner and the others all looked in awe, all but Twilight who didn't really understand what was so bad about the items in the cabinet.

"Uhm hello? Why are you girls so interested in this cabinet?" Asked Twilight.

"Uh Twi, you realize what this means, right?" Asked AppleJack

"No..."

"It means he's a nazi." Said AppleJack.

"Nazi?" Asked Twilight.

"Wait... You don't know what a nazi is?" Asked Rarity.

"No." Replied Twilight

Her friends gave her a short description of what a nazi is, telling her the horrible things they did.

When they finished twilight was literally white as snow.

"Oh dear, I think we told her to much." Said Rarity.

Twilight stood there thinking about what they told her. She looked at the unconscious man laying on the ground and then back to her friends and felt disgust towards the man.

"So Twi, what should we do with him?" Asked AppleJack.

Twilight thought about it for a while but then got an idea.

"I've got it!" Said Twilight.




Fredrick began to regain consciousness at some point.

The first thing he realized is that he was tied to a chair and that the room was completely dark.

"H-hello?" He called out.

There is no response.

A hundred thoughts pass through his head, fearing what will happen.

"I spend seventy years trying to hide my pass just to have it ruined by a pony princess, man, real pathetic of you klaus." He said to himself.

Fredrick thought about the years he wasted trying to hide his past, and then about his years of teaching.

*sigh* "I should have known this day would come sooner or later. I just hoped it would come later rather than sooner." Said Fredrick, a year coming from his eye.

"Well unluckily for you it's happening today." Said another persons voice from somewhere in the room, startling Fredrick.

"W-who's there?" Asked Fredrick.

"Do you not recognize my voice?" Asked the person.

Now that he thought about it, it did sound familiar.

A lamp was turned on which lit up a small portion of the room. 

He looked to see luna, his co-boss, sitting across from him.

"V-vice principal luna!?" Exclaimed Fredrick.

"Indeed."

"But she isn't the other one." Said a voice from a different part of the room.

Another lamp turned on, and he saw the last person he wanted to see. Sitting there was principal Celestia, his boss/landlord.

"C-Celestia?!?!"

"Yes it's me, I take it I'm the last person you want to see right now?" Said Celestia with a smirk.

"I don't know what those kids told you, but I can explain!!" Said Fredrick.

"Really now?" Said Celestia, right before she flipped a switch and the room was lit up temporally blinding him since he was use to the dark.

He looked around him and was horrified, laying around him was all the things he had hid in his cabinet. He also saw Twilight and her friends standing in the room.

"Explain to me what this is all about... Actually, explain to all of us what this is about." Said Celestia, gesturing to everyone in the room.

"I-I..."

"Oh come on, just spit it out already!!" Yelled an impatient RainbowDash.

*sigh* "Seems I can't hide it anymore, my name is Fredrick klaus. I was born in Berlin Germany, me and Otto Kretschmer, the man your friend twilight was asking about, were great friends. I studied ship mechanics in high school and me and Otto graduated from college. In 1937, I joined the Kriegsmarine, which if you paid any attention in my class you would know, was the navy of Germany, fate lead me and Otto to be working together on the same ship." Explained Fredrick.

"But that doesn't explain why Otto ended up in my world." Said Twilight.

"Well you see... *sigh* for the past sixty years the government has been chasing me because I new something they didn't want the public knowing, and so I went into hiding, eventually becoming a teacher here at equestria high." Said Fredrick.

"And what is it that you know?" Asked Celestia, who was now growing more curious.

"Well you see, on February 15th 1941 a new device was made by a scientist named doctor Steiner, he made a teleportation machine. But sadly a bombing raid was done at the time of the test and so things didn't work out very well. Steiner was killed and then Otto was teleported, and I never saw him again, in reports he was officially classified as K.i.a  or killed in action, but that's far from true..."

"But wait, you said this happened seventy years ago right?" Asked Twilight.

"Yeah"

"Then how come Otto ended up in equestria two days ago?" Asked Twilight.

"Maybe there is a difference between our three worlds timelines." Said Fredrick.

"Hmm, maybe... Wait, did you say three worlds?"

Fredrick instantly shutted his mouth, and had an extremely nervous look on his face.

"W-well... Yes, I'm not from this world, I'm from a different version of this world..." Said Fredrick, realizing he can't hide the truth now.

All the girls stood there, deep in thought.

"Uhm, could you untie me?" Asked Fredrick.

"No way! After you threatened us with a gun, there's no way we're going to trust you." Said RainbowDash.

"I'm sorry!! I was just afraid and didn't want to be found, and get silenced by the government like the rest of my crew mates that were unlucky and got teleported here." Said Fredrick.

Rarity started untieing Fredrick, while she did so she asked, "what do you mean silenced?"

"As in..." Fredrick moved his freed hand across his throat, implicating that he would be killed.

"Oh dear..." Said luna.

"What is wrong sister?" Asked Celestia.

"I um, sort of called the police..." Said luna.

"You did what?!?!" Asked Celestia and Twilight in unison.

"Come on Fredrick, we can go back to my world and you'll be safe, plus you can see Otto." Said Twilight.

"Sounds better than dieing." Said Fredrick. "Wait where's my cane?"

"Here you go." Said Fluttershy, handing him his walking cane.

"Thank you, now let's go." Said Fredrick grabbing his pistol as well.

The ran down the halls, coming to the front doors. The heard the sirens of police cars getting closer.

When the got outside they saw police cars driving up, and police men running towards them.

"There he is!" Said an officer.

Twilight and Fredrick ran for the portal. A few of the police officers shot blindly at them, and Fredrick shot a few times back. Then they made a leap for the portal...

Canterlot Castle

Otto was a little nervous, Twilight had not yet returned after a few hours had past and was afraid something had happened to her. That and he was just made an admiral of an entire navy that doesn't even exist yet.

Celestia had offered him a room for the night, so now he was pacing back and forth in front of the bed in his temporary room.

There was a knock at his door.

"Come in." He called out.

The door opened but Otto didn't look to see who it was.

"Vhat do you vant?" He asked.

"That's a rude way to welcome somepony." said a familiar feminine voice.

He turned to see Trixie standing in the door way.

"T-Trixie!?" He exclaimed, unsure if he was seeing correctly.

"The one and only." She replied.

"How did you get in zhe castle?" He asked.

"Trixie... has her ways." She replied a little hesitantly.

"Vhy are you here?" He asked.

"I'm here to see you of course!" She replied.

"Vhy?" He asked.

"I wanted to hear how the meeting went." She said.

"Vell, I zhink you could've vaited until ve came back, but I guess I'll tell you now since your here already." he said.

He spent the next ten minutes explaining to Trixie about what happened during the meeting.

"So wait, she put you in charge just like that?" Trixie asked.

"Hard to believe right?" he said.

He noticed her looking at him with a distant expression.

"Is something vrong Trixie?" he asked putting a hoof on her shoulder.

"Huh? O-oh no... no..." she said, quickly looking away.

He could have been wrong but he thought he saw a blush start to form on her face.

"Trixie, are you, OK?" he asked.

"Y-yes" she replied.

"Trixie you can tell me anything, now vhats vrong?" he asked.

"W-well... There isn't anything wrong..." she replied.

After a moment she said, "OK, there's another reason I came."

"Which is...?" Otto asked her.

She turned to face me. She had a blush and looked a little nervous.

"There's something I've been wanting to tell you, ever since you brought me back to Twilight's castle from the Everfree Forest, but I was afraid that maybe if I did you wouldn't want to be around me." she explained.

"Vell you an say it now, I'm all ears." Otto replied.

"I... well... I..." She seemed to have a hard time forming words.

"It's, OK Trixie, if you don't vant to say it I'll respect zhat."

She stared at the ground, and seemed deep in thought.

"O-Otto, I... I..." She began stuttering.

"Come on, you can say it." Otto said encouragingly.

"I like you!" She blurted out and then she blushed and looked away.

"Vhat..."
"I like you Otto..." She said more calmly, her cheeks were red as a tomato.

Otto couldn't believe what he was hearing. She liked him? Sure back home he was famous and that caused a few girls to try to hit on him, but Trixie hardly new thing about him, and he barely new a thing about her.

As if reading his mind, "I know we've only known each other for two or three days but...I just do, your the only one, other than Twilight, that didn't just try to get rid of me. Though I guess that's because you don't exactly know what I've done..." said the now tomato red mare.
"Vhat do you mean by 'get rid of you'?" asked Otto.

Trixie began to tear up and sighed.

"Ever since the alicorn amulet incident no one has trusted me. Every town I entered just chased me out, lots of ponies mocked me, harassed me, hurt me, and just down right treated me like a monster, there were a few that tried to... kill me..." She was crying at this point. "One time a pony had strapped a stick of dynamite to the bottom of my carriage, and tried to assassinate me, thankfully I wasn't in there at the time, but now I'm homeless," She choked a sob. "That's why I was in the Everfree Forest when I found you..."

Otto just stood there, he couldn't believe how cruel these ponies could be.

"When you woke up in the hospital, I hoped that I might have finally found somepony that I could have a fresh start with and that wouldn't judge me for my past actions. Everypony else that I try talking to just pushes me away, figuratively and literally." The amount of tears Trixie was producing looked humanly impossible.

Otto walked up to Trixie and pulled her into a tight hug, hoping that the embrace would cheer her up a bit.

While holding the embrace, he felt her and couldn't believe how silk like it felt. He felt her grip tighten and her heart was beating so fast it seemed like it could power an entire U-Boat, and she produced so many tears it seemed she could make a small pond in just a day.
"Trixie, I promise, as long as I live, no harm shall come to you." he spoke softly.

"If any does, it von't go unpunished. Heh, I guess as an admiral in equestria, I guess I sort of have the power to do that." he said chuckling to himself.

Trixie hugged him tighter.

"I-I love you Otto..." Said Trixie.

Otto still couldn't believe it, someone actually liked him and it wasn't because of his fame. He honestly never felt love for another person much less a pony. Sure he loved his parents but that's just because they were his parents. When he thought about it, he actually realized that he had grown some affection for the blue mare over the past days. Otto thought about the possibility of him and Trixie actually living together.

When Otto finally made up his mind and decided to give it a shot, he decided to say he loves her back, but then he got an idea.
He looked at Trixie, she had long since stopped crying, and was now just hugging him. He lowered his head so that he was eye level with her. Her eyes were closed and she was laying her head on him.

Then, using his hoof, he pulled her face into a kiss.

This shocked Trixie at first, but soon she joined into the gentle kiss. He felt her tongue prod against his teeth trying to gain entrance. He opened up and gave her what she wanted, he soon felt her tongue explore his mouth. He decided to do a bit of exploring himself she tasted oddly like coconuts for some reason. He still couldn't believe he was doing this with a fucking pony, but he didn't really care anymore.

**Trixie**

Trixie honestly didn't expect Otto to kiss her, but once her initial shock subsided she lost herself in it.

She poked her tong against his teeth hoping he might give her entrance which he eventually did.

The inside of Otto's mouth tasted like a mixture of salt water and gunpowder (which she would not recommend you try) for some reason, but decided to just focus on the kissing itself rather than the taste. He really wasn't that bad at this, but she could tell he was obviously not use to this.

But like all good things, it had to end at some point. The need for breath became to great.

**Otto**

They parted there lips a strand of saliva hanging between them.

Trixie was the first to speak, "I take it you like me too?" she asked him.

Otto replied by giving her another brief kiss.

"I do." Said Otto.

They were about to pull into another kiss but were stopped by the door knocking.

Otto got up and groaned in frustration, but walked to the door.

He opened the door, "Vhat do you vant?" He growled.

But then realized it was Twilight standing in front of the doorway.

"Twilight?"

"Hello captain, or should I say admiral." said Twilight, which caused Otto to become a bit confused.

"How did you-" began Otto but was interrupted by Twilight.

"I already talked to Celestia, and she told me what happened." said Twilight.

Twilight seemed to notice the quickly drying strand of saliva because she poked at it. "Um Otto, what is-"

She suddenly stopped and looked behind him, and saw Trixie who's cheeks were still a bit flushed.

"Trixie?"

Twilight putting two and two together, and asked, "Wait... Did y'all..."

"Don't ask... Vhy are you here?" Otto asked.

"Well there's somepony in the hospital that you would probably want to meet." she said.

"Vho?" Asked Otto.

"You'll see." Replied Twilight.

"Vell... Vhat about Trixie? Can she come along?" Asked Otto.

"Well... Ok, I don't see why your 'marefriend' can't come along." Twilight said teasingly.

Otto ignored the comment and said, "Vell, let's get going zhen."

They made their way out of the castle, though were stopped for a moment by the guards, whom were asking how Trixie had gotten in, but Twilight dealt with it, and then they made heir way to the hospital.

Otto had to admit, the architecture in Canterlot was amazing, and the ponies there were equally so. Though every now and then he caught a few eyeing his uniform, and a few who eyed his horn and wings.

Otto made a mental note that alicorns were probably rare due to how many ponies gasped when they saw him. Along the way they stopped at a diner for a quick bite since none of them have eaten that morning. A light brown unicorn mare with a dark brown mane and dark brow freckles that made her face look like a chocolate chip cookie, came up to take there orders.

"Hello, and welcome to my diner, how can I help y'all today?" she said.

"Nothing yet, we're still deciding." said Twilight.

"OK, Princess, oh and it's nice to see you again Trixie." said the mare.

"Same here." Replied Trixie.

"Say, I don't think I've seen you here before." she said looking at Otto.

"I'm... new here. I'm not from around here." he told her.

"Heh, well it's always nice to see new faces, what's your name?" she asked the stallion.

"Mein name ist, Otto Kretschmer." he said, for some reason speaking German unintentionally.

"You from Germainia?" asked the mare. (pronounced Ger-mane-ee-a)

Otto had recently realized that Equestria had a lot of towns and country's similar to ones in his world. He's guessing that this 'Germainia' was the equestrian equivalent to Germany. Twilight had told him to keep quiet about being from another world.
"Err... Ja, ich bin von dort.(Yes, I'm from there.)" Otto replied.

"Ich habe eine Menge von germainians hier in letzter Zeit gesehen.(I've been seeing a lot of germains around here lately.)" she said, she spoke perfect German.

"Sie sprechen perfekt Deutsch!(you speak perfect german!)" said Otto.

"Deutsch? Meinst du Germane? (German? Did you mean Germane?)

"Ja, ja..." He said, a bit annoyed. "But how are you able to speak it so vell?" He asked returning back to English since he saw Twilight and Trixie were getting very confused.

"I'm from Germainia as well!" she said.

"Hmm... interesting."Otto said.

"Anyways, would you like to try are germane chocolate muffins?" asked the waitress.

"Sure, I'll take two of zhose and a coffee." Said Otto.

"OK, what about y'all?" She asked Twilight and Trixie.

"I'll just have a fruit salad." said Twilight.

"I'll try one of those muffins that Otto's having." said Trixie.

"OK, your food will be out shortly." the waitress said walking off.

"Danke, miss...?"

"Oh, the name's Cholcolate chip." she said, causing Otto to laugh internally.

"Pleasure to meet you Miss Chip." said Otto.

"Please, call me Chocolate." said Chocolate chip.

Chocolate went around to where he guessed was the kitchen.

He noticed a few other ponies staring at him, and noticed they were staring at his uniform, more specifically the swastikas on it and iron cross medal he wore around his neck. It made him very uncomfortable. Chocolate chip came back holding some plates.

"Here y'all go. Is something wrong mister Kretschmer?" she asked, noticing his discomfort.

"Ja, it's just, a lot of zhe other ponies here are staring at my uniform, and giving me very nasty looks." said Otto.

"Uniform?" She asked, then gasped when she looked at his uniform. "Your a nayzi!"

"Nein, I don't even know what a nayzi is." He said though he had a pretty good guess.

"Well, a few years ago the nayzi (nay-zee) party came to power in Germainia lead by a pony named Neighdolf Trotler," called it Otto thought to himself, "and recently they declared war on a new empire that recently was discovered out in the Trotlantic ocean, the nayzis are the reason I moved here." explained Chocolate Chip.

"Mein gott, wie hat dies welt haben damit viele Ähnlichkeiten an bergwerk. (My god, how does this world have so many similarities to mine)." Otto asked himself.

"What do you mean?" asked Chocolate.

Otto instantly remembered she could understand German, and mentally scolded himself for forgetting.

"Um, vell..." shit shit shit!

Twilight gave him a quizzical look.

He mouthed the words, 'she knows', which took Twilight a moment to realize what he meant.

"Twilight, what does Otto mean by 'his world'." Asked chocolate.

"Uhhhhhh..." Is all Twilight responded with.

"Come on Twilight, you can tell me." Chocolate said egging on the mare.

"Do you have somewhere private we can talk?"

"Well there's the storage room." Said Chocolate.

"OK, once we finish eating we'll talk OK?" Said Twilight.

"Fine by me, though I prefer you come back later and talk to me, I can't really talk right now due to work," she said looking over at a customer. "Speaking of which I need to take the other customers order, so I'll talk to y'all later." She said before walking to another table.
They ate in silence, the muffins tasted like something back home.

They ate for a few minutes before Trixie asked, "Hey Otto, I was wondering. How are you able to keep such a cool head this entire time? If I were you and woke up in an entirely different world I'd be freaking out."

Otto didn't know how to answer her question, in truth he had been freaking out the entire time in his head, but tried to stay under control for the sake of everyone else. He wasn't going to say anything about it, but when he woke up and saw Trixie he would have shot her on the spot if it wasn't for his lack of hands. Speaking of which he didn't even know how he picked up his pistol, much less fired it, outside the hospital and quite frankly he didn't want to.

"Vell, I'll admit it's hard to take in, but I've come to realize some aspects of this world are similar to mine." said Otto.

"Oh? And what aspects would that be?" the blue mare asked.

"Vell for starters, a lot of zhe country's and landmarks names here are similar to ones in my vorld. Like Germainia, it sounds similar to Germany in my vorld, and vell, zhat description zhat silver gave of it, it vas also similar, in my vorld instead of 'neighdolf trotler' a man named 'Adolf Hitler' came to power. And instead of the 'Nayzi' party it's the 'Nazi' party. And zhen instead of zhe 'trotlantic' it's zhe 'Atlantic' Ocean. Also zhat empire zhat she said Germainia declared war on, I zhink I know who it is." Said Otto.

"Who?" Asked Twilight.

Before Otto could answer he felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He turned to see who had tapped him but was met with a punch to the face.

"Take that Nayzi boy." Said a voice, which Otto guessed belonged to the guy who punched him.

"Was der Teufel-Mann?" (What the hell man?) Otto screamed, grabbing at his now blood covered snout.

"Doesn't feel good to get beaten, huh? Well you should of thought about that before you started beating Jews!" Said the voice again, but Otto's vision was blurry so he couldn't see the guy.

"What's going on here? *Gasp* Star, what are you doing!" he heard Chocolate's voice say.

"What? This guy's a Nayzi! Not like he doesn't deserve it." This coming from the one Otto guessed was Star.

"Zhis guy has a name you know." Otto groaned rubbing his head.

"Yeah? Well, no pony gives a buck about what is." Said Star.

"Hey everyone this guys a nayzi!" Star yelled.

When Otto's vision cleared he saw lots of angry looking ponies walking towards him, he noticed a lot of them had a 'Star of David' on them, which seem to have been branded onto them.

Oh, fuck me. Thought Otto.

This won't end well....
