The night wind howled through the town of Ponyville as the rage of hearths warming eve ended leaving the town experiencing something rare......silence.
This silence was maddening to some but calming to others.......and for one lone figure it was the best thing possible as It made it's way towards the post office.
For a few minutes the figure walked up to the post office until it passes a lantern and was revealed.....the figure was a unicorn mare who proceded to blow out the lantern then lit her horn with an illumination spell.
When the mare reached the post office she slid a letter into the slot so it would be posted then walked away with an evil smile.
"He will be brought to justice....even if I have to do it myself......let's hope it does not come to that." She said to herself quietly.
___________*the next day 11:38 am.....Dash's cloud home.*_______
Scootaloo awoke to Celestia's sun blaring in her face........she slowly opened her eyes after turning her head away from the window and then groaned.........when Scootaloo opened her eyes entirely she saw a note sitting on her desk.
"Ugg......food first.....letter later." She said to herself while rubbing her eyes. Scootaloo walked towards the door when she saw another letter on the door saying......."Scoots I'll be home in an hour I need to talk with Twilight about something....Ps. I'll bring breakfast when I get back."
Scootaloo sighed and decided to read the other letter on her desk and walked over to it then picked it up......it said. "Scoot I've gone away on some........important business I'll be gone a few days but I swear we'll talk after I get back.....ps..don't try to follow me cause I know how to cover my tracks.....Pps...tell Lyra I'll have her fourteen bits when I get back.......sincerely......Storm." It said.
Scootaloo sighed. "Ok so Storm ran off Dash is talking with Twilight and my friends are probably away doing something." She thought.
Since she was alone she decided to look for things to do....so she went downstairs.
______*downstairs*______
Scootaloo walked into the kitchen and towards the fridge where she saw a piece of paper on it....she them read it. "Scoot....if you and Storm get bored I have some stuff you can do." It read up top.
She then looked under it. "Trash out....cleaning up the living room table or finding that weather schedule I lost somewhere in the house.
Scootaloo decided to get the simple ones out of the way and started with trash.
As Scootaloo picked up the trash can she began to wonder. "what was so important that Storm had to leave?......come to think of it I don't remember seeing him after he left Sound and Rose's house........it's probably nothing." She thought.
______*ten minutes later*______
Scootaloo walked up to the fridge and put a check in the checkbox marking that all three tasks were done. "Hmm......now what?" She said to herself.
Unable to think of anything Scootaloo walked into the living room and sat down trying to think of something to do.
"Hmm.....I can't crusade I cleaned my room and i got all three tasks done.....hmm." She said to herself.
Suddenly a thought came to Scootaloo's mind as she came up with something to do. "I could go into Storm's room....I mean he did it to me....why can't i?" She thought while smirking.
Scootaloo stood up and ran up the stairs and then walked up to Storm's room before stopping. "What if i get caught........well.....here goes nothing." She said quietly opening the door then walking inside.
_______*Storm's room*______
Scootaloo walked inside and saw something's......strange....the area in front of the bed had a small cloud wall and what looked like ritual circles inside in the shape of a hexagon.......the walls were more normal as it was just plain bare exept two portraits....Scootaloo walked towards them to get a better look.
The first one was one of Storm and five others.......two Pegasi and three earth pony's and they were all wearing some form of armor.....it was black and looked like leather with back guards and chest guards with some leather straps going down their legs and ending beneath their hooves Also they all had goggles but only two had diferent looking goggles......Storm himself and one of the other Pegasi.
Storm had brown goggles with what looks like half a dagger sewn on the left side saying Storm lov...........and the other one had gray goggles with a half dagger on the right side saying.......ev's Sift on it.
Scootaloo looked at the label that looked like it was iron welded into the portrait saying......"the ritual team......Artic secret ops Stalliongrad division......members are Storm Blitz.......Sift Wave.....Jagged Edge.......Quartz Ember......Partial Dark......Warp Arka......and the leader.......Crack Shot." It read.
Scootaloo looked closer at the photo and finally noticed that Storm and the pegasus she assumed was Sift's goggles connected to each other's.
"So Storm had a relationship....at his age?......ok that's odd what about the other photo." She said to herself.
Scootaloo walked over to the other photo and saw that it was Storm with Sift who were both smiling And Sift was holding something.....a foal?
Had they really got a foal that young?.......Scoot looked at the photo again and noticed something diferent.....which she could not believe she missed before......Storms coat was gray and his mane was white on one end but got darker as it went on eventually reaching black......but the thing that confused her the most was that Storm's eyes....they were purple but instead of the round pupil it was more like a oval slit with purple outlining.....in fact the only reason she could tell it was Storm was his cutie mark.....mark in Storm's words.
She got a look at Sift and saw she had a light blue mane and tail with a blue streak.......gray coat......cyan eyes and a swirling wave cutie mark......Scootaloo saw that Sift did not share the same eyes as Storm and was relieved.....then she got a look at the foal.
Scootaloo could tell just by looking it was a pegasus filly.......she had a red coat a pure brown mane and tail and bright green eyes.....and then Scootaloo looked at the label witch was welded as well which read.
"Me Sift and Spark........two weeks after delivery." It read making Scootaloo's eyes widen. "So.....he did have a relationship.....and a foal.......but how........at his age.......what happens to pony's over there?" She asked herself.
Scootaloo turned around and saw an open journal with quill and ink on a desk.......curious she walked over to it ands at down then turned to the first page and read it.
"My life of strife.....by Storm Blitz." Said the front. Scootaloo turned to the first story page and saw the tale of his old life in Cloudsdale.....she skimmed over it and saw nothing diferent from the tale Storm told her yesterday.
She turned the page and noticed that the next chapter was torn out but there was a piece of paper stapled in its place.
"I'm sorry but I accidentally tore this chapter out.....to sum it up I lived with my friend and her parents for a time then I left." It said.
Sighing Scootaloo turned the page again to see an interesting chapter.
________*Storm's journal chapter 3 the orphanage*________
Storm sat down on the bed in his room at the orphanage......A few days ago he left his friend Dash's house so he would not burden her parents and one day afterwards he woke up in the orphanage and one of the employees had explained what happened......but he did not care nopony ever came to the orphanage anyway so it would not matter.
As Storm sat there in silence he began to let some tears out......but the door soon opened causing him to wipe them away and recollect himself.
There standing at the door was one of the employees who gently nudged a fellow orphan into the room before leaving.
Storm looked at his....supposed new roommate....considering it had enough room for two........it was a pegasus filly......and that was enough for Storm on that front.....but the true test was on what she was like.
Soon enough Storm got off his bed and stood up then walked over to the filly. "Hi." He said plainly. The filly jumped in response and ended up on the roof.
"Oh.....uh...hi." She replied shyly. Storm smiled. "So she is like I used to be." He thought. "It's okay you can come down......what are you doing up there anyway?" Storm asked.
In reply the filly glided back down and folded her wings. "My name is uh.....my name is Sift......what's yours?" She asked meekly.
Storm lifted his hoof up. "My name is Storm.....nice to meet you." He replied. Sift smiled and bumped Storm's hoof.

Scootaloo wondered in disbelief...."that's it?....that can't be it." She said franticly looking for a continuation but found none.
In disappointment Scootaloo sighed then got up off the chair then looked around the room and found only one last thing of interest....a small wooden chest lying in the corner.
Scootaloo walked over to it then opened it letting out some dust making Scootaloo cough before she looked at the contents.
There was not a lot inside the chest....just the same dagger that he favors and a photo.....she also noticed there was a small hole at the bottom and decided to look at the photo first.
It was a simple photo of Sift smiling making Scootaloo smile.....she then put the photo down then pulled up on the hole in the chest.
Inside was the same goggles that Storm and Sift were wearing but there was writing on the back of Sift's.
"Rest in peace Sift.....may the cold winds bare you to a better place." The writing said. Scootaloo gasped as she realized what it ment.....Storm's friend....was dead.
"oh........poor Storm.......I hope you're ok......hold on what happened to Spark?" She pondered putting everything back where it should be.
Just as Scootaloo put everything away the sound of somepony clearing their throat was enough to make her sweat......so she turned to face who it was and gasped at what it was and then screamed.
Storm reminisces/Scootaloo searches for the past. Part one.
Out at Canterlot castle a messenger ran towards the throne room carrying an urgent message.
As the messenger ran forward the doors to the throne room came closer and closer, until the doors opened so he stopped in front of them as they opened.
After the large doors opened the guard bowed due to Celestia walking out with a tense look on her face
Celestia looked down at the guard and spoke. "You may speak." She said.
The guard stood up and then cleared his throat. "Your highness I have an urgent message from Ponyville." He replied quickly.
Celestia calmed down some and then spoke again. "Very well, give me the message." She ordered.
The guard nodded and gave her a letter, which Celestia took then read it. The letter read. "Your highness I have discovered an Artic special forces team leaving Ponyville in the direction of Manehatten, I do not know their mission but it can't be good, I will leave this decision to you." It read.
Celestia put down the letter then looked at the guard. "Get Shining Armor, and tell him he's needed over by Manehatten, and tell him to get some elite troops ready for combat." She ordered.
The guard saluted. "Yes your highness." He said running off.
Celestia pondered to herself as she walked towards her chambers. "Hmm, I wonder, I had better keep the element bearers out of this, I don't need to endanger them with this." She said to herself.
____________*meanwhile at the redwood fields*_______
Storm and his teammates continued walking towards Manehatten, soon a figure steps out in front of them and Storm smirked.
"Well well well, bout time you joined us commander.......late as always." Storm said.
Crack Shot, the leader of the team chuckled a little bit before walking towards his team. "Heh, yea well if I recall you are always the last one to go into combat......isn't that right?" He teased.
Storm chuckled a little bit himself before looking up at his commander. "So, mind filling me in?" He asked.
Crack Shot laughed. "Straight to the point as always, fine, our first target is the Manehatten royal guard base just on the outskirts, if we take that out the rest will be a cake walk, I'll fill you in on the rest later, oh and by the way just so you know those element bearers are of no concern to command so we can avoid them." He said.
As soon as Crack shot finished Warp Arka got mad. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? why would we let them live they are nothing but trouble makers, and what's worse is that they are mindless puppets to that bucking ruler of theirs! we should just kill them all right n......" She said before Storm rammed her hard then held his dagger to her throat.
Storm looked at Warp Arka with an icy stare. "Warp, I've never liked you in fact the only reason your still alive is because we need you alive, now normally I would not care about your usual outbursts but this time....." He trailed off a little as he removed his dagger. "Listen closely, if you ever talk of harming my sister again.......I will kill you slowly.......understand?" He threatened maintaining his cold stare.
Warp gulped nervously, she could tell he was serious about this.....so she simply nodded wordlessly.
Crack shot sighed and motioned Jagged Edge to break it up.
Jagged Edge nodded and then walked over to Storm, he then put his hoof on his comrades shoulder.
Storm looked behind him and saw Jagged who shook his head, understanding the message he got up then started walking to Manehatten.
"Come on let's get this over with, I would like to enjoy my retirement in peace.....if you don't mind." He said walking towards the city of Manehatten.
Jagged Edge and Warp Arka walked up to Crack Shot and raised their eyebrows in confusion.
Crack Shot sighed and shook his head then followed Storm.
Sighing at this, Jagged Edge, Warp Arka, Quartz Ember and Partial Dark followed the others.
Storm however was the only one who wanted to get through the entire mission as quickly as possible then get back home, but this mission was special to him, and he begun to remember when he and his teammates attempted this mission before......
_________*flashblack, two years ago, Stalliongrad special ops HQ*________
Deep below Stalliongrad was the special ops headquarters, which housed many spies, assassin's and operatives, inside were odd hallways, they twisted and turned like a maze, but to those who were in the organization, these hallways were simple, and inside this complicated compound was one such assassin, while this assassin was merely a colt he was not a joke.
Storm walked through the complex hallways and smirked as he approached the briefing room door, he threw the doors opened and entered.
The inside of the briefing room was quiet and simple, a large table and chairs with boring maps, in fact the only interesting thing in the room was the ritual team and its leader.
Storm walked forward towards the briefing table and leaned on it.
Crack Shot smiled a little. "So, the pacifist Is finally here huh.......Hmph well then I'll brief you on your mission, there is a Canterlot royal guard base on the outskirts of Manehatten that has a special, magic orb being transported there, our mission is to either seize it for the Artic army, or destroy it so the Equestria guard cannot use it, we cannot allow them to keep control of it at any cost, Warp and Partial you will take the west side, Storm and Sift you get the east side, Jagged and Quartz you take the south side with me, dismissed." He ordered.
As Crack Shot dismissed his team they all left the room through the door, after they all left Crack Shot sighed. "So, why do you have such an interest In this mission?" He said to nopony in particular.....until a shaded pony appeared behind him.
"Because one of your squad members has much potential, even if you don't realize it that one is almost as strong as me, and even stronger than Celestia herself, I would hope that you keep your part of the bargain, if you don't, your precious city, will burn because of it." The pony replied.
Crack Shot sighed. "Your right, its for our own good, that the one you speak of, dies today." He said sadly.
The pony nodded. "Yes, for our own good, although, the lover of our target will try to kill you if you slip up.......don't." The pony warned then disappeared in a veil of shadow.
Crack Shot growled a little at the pony's arrogance then left the room himself.
__________*three hours later, outside the Manehatten base.....east hill*________
Storm and Sift walked up the hill carrying the bodies of two dead unicorns on their backs clearly not bothered by the weight.
While walking Sift looked up at the setting sun and spat then continued up the hill.
Storm chuckled then turned around and stopped. "So Sift, you want to do the ritual this time, or sould I?" He asked teasingly.
Sift looked at him and sighed. "Your turn, I hate this ritual anyway." She replied getting a smile from Storm.
"Ok ok fine I'll do it, just don't be mad if it's a full moon, or I'll eat you alive." He teased with a short laugh.
Sift just shook her head and continued walking as Storm did the same.
________*at the top of the hill thirty seconds later*________
Storm walked over towards the middle of the flat hill and dropped the dead unicorn, then he flew up to the sky and grabbed a few clouds, he then shaped them into symbols and flew back down.
Sift dropped the dead unicorn on her back on top of the other one and then turned around to keep watch.
Storm put the cloud symbols in a pentagon pattern, he then made a dirt path from the dead unicorns and made some more symbols in the ground and then walked over to the dead unicorns and pulled out his dagger, then slashed both of the bodies which released blood that filled the symbols on the ground, he then sat in the middle of them all and began chanting.
Sift meanwhile kept a vigilant guard to keep Storm from being interrupted, unlike her colt friend she hated the next part of the ritual, the fusing of the blood, clouds and body.
_______*two minutes later*_______
Storm stopped chanting as he felt the cloud symbols and the blood symbols merge with his body, he liked this feeling, it was one of power, unlike his mare friend.
Sift kept a watch as she started feeling something behind her, so she turned around and saw the final phase of the ritual, Storm's voice then began booming through the air as he spoke a dying language, and as he spoke a gigantic purple fireball began forming above Storm.
Sift then looked up and gasped, somehow in place of the sun was a full moon. "Oh no, Storm! fire it as soon as you can.....forget the mission!" She yelled.
Upon hearing this Storm launched the fireball which in its wake left a buring trail and burned the ground beneath it as it flew towards the base.
Storm then turned around at Sift with a confused look on his face. "Sift what is it? wait, I know that look........." Storm trailed off as he looked up, then started screaming as his bones started to break.
Sift ran up to Storm and held his shoulders......only to have him push her away in the process.
Storm continued screaming but managed to get a word out....."Run." He forced through the pain.
Sift began backing up, but soon was breathing heavily as Storm began to change into something else entirely.
Storm's hooves soon became claws, his tail changed into that of a wolf, his hair changed into a very scruffy spike, but the worst change was the rest of him, his fur became thick as his ears changed into wolf ears, and his face, his teeth became sharper than iron and far longer and the worst part was......that howl.....that terrifying howl.
As Storm was nearly completely changed, he looked up at Sift and let a tear out before his eyes became black pupils and his irises became a dark blood red.
Sift began running for she just wanted to get away before he howled, but she was too late.
Storm's werewolf howl was horrifing as it sounded like a scream, a loud roar and metal grinding against itself, but the worst part of it was that it paralyzed Sift in her tracks whenever she heard it.
Unable to move because of her fear, Sift then saw a group of royal guard appear from the darkness and surrounded her.
Sift then realized that they had cast a paralysis spell on her, she then smirked. "Perfect, I can distract Storm with their blood so I can get away." She thought.
Sift's leg started to glow as she broke out of the paralysis and then pulled out her own dagger, she then flew behind one of the guards as he lunged at her, she backstabbed him letting his blood spill out, then Sift let out a sadistic smile as she proceded to kill guard after guard.
__________*one minute later*________
Sift stood panting in the middle of all of the guards and gasped as she heard a deep growl behind her.
There right behind her was Storm, who roared and then pounced as Sift screamed in pain.
Storm wildly slashed at Sift again and again until she stopped moving, he let out a feral howl and blacked out.
_______*the next morning*_____
Storm woke up feeling more relaxed than ever, he felt a body with his hoof and looked to his right, he screamed as he felt his heart break, Sift's body was laying next to him, motionless, but before Storm could stand up he felt a tingle at the back of his neck, he clutched his neck and he soon passed out.
Storm reminisces/Scootaloo searches for the past. Part two.
Scootaloo ran out of the room as fast as she could from the creature behind her.
She ran down the stairs and out the door then began flying and turned around to see if the creature was there......only to see that it had not left the house.
Scootaloo decided to get a closer look at the creature......it looked reptilian in nature it had orange scales and green eyes.......she did not know what it was but she did not want to get it mad however she knew Rainbow would be home soon so she decided to find it and drop it from the house.....if she could.
"Hmm........got some time so maybe I can go to the library and get more information........better then nothing I suppose." She said to herself then flew off towards the library.
__________*Ponyville....Golden oaks library two minutes later.*__________
Scootaloo walked up to the library doors and pushed the door open........or so she thought as it didn't budge.
"What the?" She said to herself as she examined the door.
As she examined the door she noticed a note on the library door so she read it...........it read. "I'm sorry to say but the library is closed until I return.......I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause....Twilight Sparkle."
Scootaloo groaned in frustration at Twilight for doing this......but smiled as she got an idea then took into the air an flew to one of the window.
As she reached the window Scootaloo pushed a loose part of bark the was bulging out towards the window causing the window to open.....Scootaloo smiled as she flew into the library.
_________*inside the library*_________
Scootaloo walked towards the creature section and began to skim through the pages.
"Hmm lets see, manticore, timber wolf, dragon, Phoenix, giant squid, salamander......wait." She stopped on the salamander page and looked at the image of it, and sure enough it was the same creature from the house, but how did it get up there?....she then read the page starting with Twilight's notes.
It read. "The salamander is a dangerous creature at best and will attack on sight they also seem to have the ability to walk on clouds despite not having wings, in fact the only reason it should be able to walk on clouds is the fact that they have a distant blood relation with dragons, there is also a hidden part of the text which I guess is how you tame them, but only a pegasus can understand it but neither Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy will tell me what it is, perhaps they don't know, no that can't be it, Rainbow Dash told me that it was written in an ancient Pegasi language which is impossible for even Princess Celestia to read, I don't know how but I will figure out a way to understand it." That was the end of Twilight's notes.
Then she read the rest of the page. "The salamander is an ancient creature, possibly older than the pony race itself, this creature has the ability to ignite itself with blazing fires and can withstand more heat and fire than a dragon, while the salamander can ignite itself it is incapable of shooting fireballs and the rain makes it impossible for it to ignite, unless it already ignited itself, furthermore the salamander is a fiercely loyal creature and upon contact with a timber wolf it will be unable to regenerate itself indefinitely, they also seem to be omnivores as they are able to eat all kinds of food, even rock to survive if necessary, it also seems to have all forms of vision and can survive in any conditions, and finally the salamander seems to be supernatural as it is capable of tracking even the dead.......buck." Scootaloo said to herself.
Scootaloo then walked over to the couch and sat down deep in thought.
"So somehow we have a salamander in the house and I have no way of removing it......what if it's Storm's? I mean he did say he had a strange pet, i wonder if this is it?" she thought
Scootaloo flew up to the window and opened it. "Well, might as well do something." She said to herself flying outside.
As Scootaloo flew above the town she noticed something. "I seem to be talking to myself a lot lately, ugh this ridiculous, ok I know what I'll do, I'll handle the salamander appropriately then get some sleep......if I can."
Scootaloo smiled at this plan then sped up towards the house eager to get this over with, when a drop of water hit her on the head causing her to looked around, and sigh.
The sky was now filled with rain clouds and Scootaloo was right beneath them all, so she flew off towards the cloud home now wanting to get out of the rain.
________*Rainbow Dash's cloud home three minutes later*_______
Scootaloo landed on the porch and then went inside, with no sign of the salamander anywhere she walked into the kitchen.
As she walked Scootaloo searched for any trace of the creature but found none. "you know for a big scary monster that salamander sure can cover its tracks." she thought.
When Scootaloo entered the kitchen she looked around, and saw nothing, when she was certain she was alone Scootaloo walked over to the fridge and opened it.
The contents of the fridge were the same as yesterday....with the exception of a container of some kind of tan colored liquid, Scootaloo shrugged and pulled it out then went over to the cup cabinet and grabbed a small cup. "Well......here goes nothing." She said putting the cup on the table then poured herself a drink.
When the glass was full Scootaloo put the liquid away then grabbed the cup carefully and then said a silent prayer, then downed the drink.
_______*ten seconds later*______
Scootaloo shook her head as she felt a little woozy, expecting to black out any second Scootaloo hastily made her way to the living room couch, then she sat down and began seeing things, like a Minotaur in a tutu dancing, a short conga of Buffaloes, trumpet playing sheep and a salamander. "Wait what?" She said focusing on the reptile only to feel a sharp jab in her neck as she began to feel herself falling asleep
As Scootaloo began to fall into unconsciousness she saw the salamander pick her up and carry her upstairs, then she fell asleep.
________*five hours later*_______
Scootaloo awoke with a sharp pain in her head and she slowly opened her eyes, and saw the brightest light she had ever seen and immediately closed her eyes.
"Good your finally awake, are you alright?" A voice asked.
Scootaloo slowly opened her eyes again and found that the light had diminished and then sat up more, then closed them while she rubbed her head while groaning in pain.
She heard breathing getting closer to her then heard the voice again. "Here drink this, it will help with the pain." It said.
Scootaloo then confirmed something in her mind. "Ok then so the voice is definitely a males voice, so I at least know that much." she thought, then opened her eyes again to find a glass of water was sitting on the table next to her.
Since she did acknowledge that she had a splitting headache, she grabbed the water then drank it and was surprised at how fast it helped with the massive headache.
Once she was certain that she was physically ok she decided to take a quick view of her surroundings, and to her surprise she was in Storm's room in his bed, she then rubbed her head again to try and ease the pain.
"I am glad that you are unharmed, I am also sorry for frightening you like that, it was not my intention, although it was fortunate that you only drank the raw form of that beverage, or it would have been more difficult to help you." The voice said again.
Scootaloo had enough and decided to see who it was. "Where are you?" She asked.
"I am outside the room, I did not want to scare you further, we have met before under diferent circumstances." The voice replied.
Scootaloo gulped but stood up out of the bed. "Show yourself." She said hesitantly.
Sure enough the door knob turned and a large orange salamander walked in slowly.
Scootaloo started to hyperventilate but was able to keep it in control, barely.
The salamander lowered itself to all fours and slowly approached Scootaloo then sat down.
"Perhaps we can conduct proper introductions this time, agreed?" It asked.
Scootaloo's eyes widened as the salamander spoke and unknowingly nodded then sat down on the bed.
The salamander then smiled. "Very well then my name is Venom, nice to meet you miss......?" It asked holding out its claw
"Scootaloo, nice to meet you Venom....I think." Scootaloo replied shaking his claw and then realized she felt diferent, diferent good, but decided to worry about that later as she looked at Venom.
Venom then stood up. "May I approach?" He asked simply waiting. "Well I guess but still I have to figure out what's going on and, whoa that feels good....and it hurts, what happened to me?" Scootaloo wondered.
"Sure just no sudden movements." She replied moving to the middle of the bed and then saw the rest of her body as she exited the covers, then screamed causing Venom to cover his ears.
Scootaloo stared at her legs in shock, instead of them being pony legs they were now that of a tiger. "What.....what did you do to me!" She yelled at Venom.
Venom just stared blankly at her. "I did nothing, that happened without any interference from me at all, I'm sorry." He replied.
Scootaloo scrambled to get off the bed and soon fell of managing to land on only her two back hooves or claws in her case, she expected to be wobbling but found that she was not, curious, she put one leg out in a walking motion and one foot after another found herself walking on two feet and soon found herself laughing for some reason, but she still wanted to know what she was anyway, so she left the room.
As soon as Scootaloo left Storm's room she went right for the bathroom to see if it was just a trick of the mind.

Scootaloo walked over to the mirror to look at herself, and sure enough there standing on two feet, she was amazed.
She got a better look at herself when she rinsed her eyes, hating it very much for some reason, she could get over that.
She still had her original colors but in a striped pattern, she had orange fur with purple stripes and had orange bed hair with purple highlights and noticed her tail was just like her hair.
Scootaloo also noticed she had short whiskers and large purple eyes, she also had the body of a female tiger, black claws, thinner stature, slightly slit like eyes and some....never mind, but noticed that she had two spots where there was no fur and turned around and gasped in joy.
Scootaloo pinched herself to see if she was dreaming but only ended up slightly scratched, she then turned towards the mirror barely containing her excitement, whe finally had her cutie mark, she looked at it again and saw what it looked like.
It looked like a black outlined tiger female and her cub, she had no idea what it ment but it was cool to her.
Venom simply leaned into the doorframe smiling, then he walked over to her and put his claw on her shoulder.
"Come on, we should talk." He said leaving the bathroom.
Scootaloo looked at her new cutie mark one more time then left the bathroom smiling.
________*downstairs one minute later*_______
Scootaloo and Venom were sitting on the couch talking, apparently the drink that Scootaloo drank was the first stage of a very powerful alcohol that Storm was developing as a hobby, also once drunk the drinker can speak to animals for the rest of their life.
"So Venom, do you know either Storm or Dash?" Scootaloo asked politely.
Venom nodded. "I don't know who this Dash is but I do know Storm, would you like to hear how?" he asked.
Scootaloo nodded. "Sure why not, we have time to kill." she replied.
________*flashback, three years ago, the Sizzling pools west of Equestria, Venom's hut*_______
Venom sat in his long chair and sighed contently, the Sizzling pools had a special property that could not be found anywhere else, the property was basically a relaxing aroma that also had healing powers, but what really separated the Sizzling pools from others was the fact that the weather could not be controlled in any possible way, also the entirety of the pools were covered in a time wall, making it so you can't age inside them but as soon as you leave the pools after say, four hundred years, that age will catch up to you in 4 weeks, the final effect was that time had no meaning here so one hundred years could pass outside but one hour could pass inside, and vice versa.
It was here that Venom chose his vacation spot, and it also happened to be the training place for a certain Pegasus colt named Storm Blitz.
As Venom sat in this chair he heard a loud splash coming from a nearby pool again for the twenty sixth time. "That's does it." Venom grumbled, he stood up then walked out of his hut, he then walked over towards the entrance to one of the larger pools.
________*large east pool*_______
Venom walked towards the pool that was in front of him and saw his dreaded neighbor, a Pegasus colt who annoyed him greatly, he then walked towards Storm who had just fallen in again, twenty seventh.
As Venom walked towards Storm, he tried to control his burning temper, he was finding it hard, but managed to control it.
Venom finally reached a distance where he could talk to Storm but not go into a frenzy, then cleared his throat to get Storm's attention.
Storm turned his head in Venom's direction and chuckled a little bit. "So, what do you want, or are you here just to talk?" he asked.
Venom walked over to a wooden bench that was placed near the pools, so Venom sat down and looked down.
Storm walked over to the bench and then sat down as well. "Well? you going talk or just sit there?" he asked
After hearing that Venom broke out of his trance he faced Storm. "Look I need to talk to you about these antics of yours, you have not stopped ever since you got here, look I know these pools have a time field but still, take a break for once." he started.
Storm stayed quiet the entire time waiting for Venom to finish.
"And another thing, what are you doing anyway, all I hear from over here is you falling into the water." Venom continued.
Storm smiled a little bit. "Well if you must know, im training." he replied.
Venom looked at him and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Let me explain, you see the part of training that I'm on now is this, I take a small pile of pebbles then I make a large splash by dropping a large rock into the water, then, using my red eye I throw the pebbles at the water droplets, I can get all but one every time, I'm getting there though, even if I fall in sometimes." Storm explained.
Venom then looked down at the ground afterwards then got up and started walking back to his hut.
"Sorry about wasting your time, I will leave you to it." he said walking away, hearing a splash not long after.
Venom sighed. "This will be a long day" he said to himself.
________*end of flashback*_______
Scootaloo smiled at this tale. "So Storm does have a soft side after all, it would be nice to see it, that whole insane thing gives me the creeps."
Just then Dash walks through the door and stares at Scootaloo and Venom......then blinks.
"Ok then, you are going to explain everything when I get out of the shower got it?" Dash says in a commanding tone getting a nod from both Scootaloo and Venom, until they all started laughing.
Battle at the Manehatten base/explaining the predicament......part one.
Storm walked up to an all too familiar hill and sighed......."Two years ago......two years ago she died......I'll kill them." He thought as he gritted his teeth.
The other members of the ritual team then walked up the hill and then Crack Shot called Storm over.
After Storm reached his team Crack Shot spoke. "Alright team......we all know what we are doing here so the plan is simply charge and destroy the base.......any questions?" He asked.
Since Crack Shot received no questions from any of his team members he then dismissed them as Storm and Quartz took to the air and Warp......Jagged......himself and Partial charged.
Storm flew up high in the air and scanned the area using his scanning eye and kept a look out for enemy fire with his red eye......and found a weak spot.....a small hole in a watch tower to the northeast.....so he flew towards it and motioned Quartz to follow him.
Quartz followed Storm as the royal gaurd stationed at the base started firing arrows at them and she and Storm began dodging the arrows.
Storm and Quartz eventually reached the tower and Storm delivered a powerful kick to the wall causing it to crumble away...and then Quartz and Storm landed inside the tower and then flew down to the ground floor and then planted many unstable firework bombs at the bottom and then flew up onto the wall.
_________*on top of the wall ten seconds later*________
Storm flew headfirst into one of the guards sides and then stabbed him in the heart with his dagger then flew too another gaurd and double kicked him hard in the skull and then threw his dagger into another gaurds neck.
Storm flew forward and recovered his dagger then continued his assault and smiled.
_________*meanwhile at the bottom of the wall*________
Warp Arka and Jagged Edge ran up to the wall and started planting bombs at the base.......not enough for overkill........just enough to blow up the massive stone wall.
Crack Shot and Partial Dark meanwhile kept anything from disturbing Warp and Jagged.
__________*inside the barracks one minute later*_______
Storm walked into the barracks casually singing one of his songs he made some time ago to himself which echoed across the walls.
"I'm coming to get you and there's nothing you can do.......I'm going to find you and take your head.........it will be a glorious bloodbath and I will not care.........come on already I'm back.........where is my homecoming gift..........I'll just take your brain instead." He sung happily.
Storm repeated himself a few more times just to let the message sink in........it didn't........or it did but they were to scared to move.........Storm did not care anyway.
_______*meanwhile*_______
To say that the guard was afraid would be an injustice.......in truth every single guard in the base was terrified of him........it was not was strength or speed.....it was his sanity that they feared.........they knew that Storm had once flayed a dozen guards just because he was bored.......and because he wanted to experiment on other pony's as well.
To this extent the leader of the Manehatten royal guard base......a unicorn by the name of Granite was mortified at having to face him.......in fear that he himself and his men would meet the same fate as those flayed guards.......however he had and escape plan just in case his first plan failed.....in which Storm would believe the place empty and then depart......when a guard screamed.
Granite and the rest of his men charged towards the place where the scream was heard......and a few of them vomited at the sight.
Storm did kill the guard....but he did so in a some would say.....pycho's design........but to Storm.......it was a masterpiece......and that was what he would do to the guards.....when two more screams were heard.
Granite cursed himself for being unable to save his men......that colt was to strong so the only thing he could do was to........"Fall back!.....Fall back!" He ordered.
His entire unit began to run towards the door some flew....others attempted to use a magic barrier to repel him......which he just cut to ribbons just like he did with the Pegasi.
Granite however did not have the luxury of insanity.......so while charging towards the exit he turned around..........and gasped in horror.
In the mere matter of seconds Storm had performed his 'unique art' on all of the guard.......then turned to face in front of him.......and stopped in horror.
There standing right in front of him.......was what he considered worst then Discord........he charged his horn and fired his most powerful spell and punched him as hard as he could..........but Storm had already plunged his dagger into Granite's heart.......Granite coughed up a lot of blood at once signaling he was dying.....but unlike most that looked at him and called him monster.....this one had said. "One day.......*coughs up blood*......you will look back on this day and you will suffer for this......heh.....and when that day comes......y....you s..should know.......burn in Tartarus you failed experiment." Granite said with his last breath.
Storm just silently stared at him and then got a sadistic smile on his face as he began making 'art' with his latest find.
________*five minute later Manehatten base outskirts*_______
Storm walked up to his team appearing calm as ever when in reality he wanted blood........"calm down calm down......I have four jars of blood in my saddlebags......what Rainbow and Scoots don't know can't hurt them."
Crack Shot was standing next to a plunger.
Crack Shot looked at Storm and shuddered....he was the only 'living' member of the team that new of Storm's.......'art' habits.
Ever since Sift died Storm's habits had gone out of control.......normally Sift would be able to control Storm's cravings like blood drinking......and flaying his victims.
But now that she was dead Storm was out of control.....he did not show it but when battle came.......he was a pycho........but in places of civilization he was a normal everyday pony.
Crack Shot decided it was time. "Team.......get out of here.....I want you to go back to your lives.....forget this ever happened....understood?"'he asked.
Storm.....Jagged....Warp....Partial......and Quartz all nodded receiving a smile from their commander.
The entire team understood the message and jumped off the wall then ran for it as the commander pulled something out of his saddlebags.
It was a short flat peice of wood with a red tip.....he also pulled out a large cigar..."i know I quit years ago but still......I'm going to die anyway so what the buck?"
Crack Shot chuckled to himself as he lit the match and then the cigar......"you know the irony is......is that I'm practically an old weakling.......hmm.....heh oh well serves me right." He said to himself as he pushed the lever.
As Crack Shot pushed the lever the bombs that were set earlier begun to set off and before Crack Shot knew it........he was no more.
__________*two minutes later hill on the outskirts of Manehatten*________
Storm had stopped moving when he reached the top of the hill.......and then he turned around and saw the wall....explode....he shed a single tear that day.......but he cleared his eye and put up his guard when he heard metal armor clanking behind him and his teammates.
Storm turned around and saw a small battalion of royal guard elites......and their leader.
"You really don't want to mess with me right now........I'm in a very bad mood." He threatened.
The leader stepped forward. "You five are now placed under arrest for the destruction of the Manehatten base and the murder of its guard as well." He said plainly.
Storm looked up and saw that the moon was almost full and smiled......he then stepped forward to face the leader of the enemy battalion.
"Give me your name unicorn........and I shall tell you mine.....or do you seek to insult a principal that our warring country's made?" Storm said calmly.
The unicorn looked down and sighed as he looked up and nodded. "My name is captain Shining Armor of the Equestria royal guard......"
"Wait wait wait..........your Shining Armor?.....oh my gosh I heard a hell of a lot about you from Twilight.......God that mare does not shut up......but anyway my name is Storm Blitz.......and i pissed you off didn't I....." Storm said to himself and upon seeing Shining Armor's face filling with rage he had one thing to say. "Ah" he said.
Shining Armor was fuming but managed to control it. "calm down.....I can't let Twily get involved in this.....but then again....It would be a good idea to get as much information as I can get.....I see who this is now......the insane flayer....I hope Twily is okay though." he thought.
"Who will speak for your group?" Shining Armor asked. Storm just shrugged. "I geuss I could do it.....what do you want?" Storm asked.
Shining Armor motioned for Storm to follow him as they went towards a small clearing in the nearby woods.....Storm just shrugged and followed.
__________*forest clearing three minutes later*_________
Storm had silently activated his anti magic rune to prevent him from being effected by spells.
Shining used his magic to grab a flat tree trunk to use as a table.
After they had their makeshift table set up they both stared at eachother is if daring the other to make a move.
After two minutes of silence Storm broke the silence. "So captain......what did you want to talk to me about?" He asked.
Shining then decided two minutes was long enough. "Very well......I was sent here with full authority on this mission.......i propose a deal." He said plainly.
This got Storm's attention. "Ok then what do you want?" He replied.
Shining decided to go through with it. "What I want is very simple.......I want you and your Artic commandos out of Equestria......also I want to know how you know of Twilight." He asked.
Storm smiled. "Ok listen captain......there is a problem with that......you see I'm not returning to the Artic with my squad members........my family here....they need me more.......as for the Twilight thing......she attacked me as soon as she found out where I was from.....heh.......basically the thing is I'm staying here in Equestria.......even with as ignorant as this country is......got a problem with that?" Storm countered.
Shining then fought a war inside his head. "hmm....if I let him live in Equestria he might go after Twily and her friends.....and very likely will attack those that they care about.....but on the other hoof.....the Intel we could obtain from him.....it would change the tide of the war.........especially if I leave a squad of elites to watch him.......that will have to be good enough."
"Hmm......I have something that might work out for both our sides......" Shining Armor began before Storm silenced him with his hoof.
"We will have to continue these negotiations tomorrow.......I'm sorry." Storm said before beginning to hover. "On second thought how about this I will stay my team goes home you have guards watch me from now on....except full moons you lose nothing the Artic loses a powerful asset.....Good cool seeya!" He yelled flying off.
Shining Armor went to stop him but found at least some wisdom in his words and returned to the hill where apperently Storm informed them of the deal and left for home......Shining then sent four of his elite to follow Storm while he and the others went to Ponyville.
___________*meanwhile at an unknown location*___________
Two figures walked through the shadows of the ancient structure before one stopped at a window that had a great view of the moon......this caught the second figures attention and it too walked up to the window.
"Is there something wrong?" The first figure asked.
The second figure turned its body to face the other figure and revealed a horn.
"No it's nothing......it's just that I find the moon so calming in a way." The unicorn replied.
The first figure turned its body to face the other revealing wings on it.
"While that is good we must attend to other matters......don't you agree?" The pegasus replied pointing towards a third shadow....which too was revealed......the third figure was an earth pony.
"I agree....good night then." The earth pony said walking off.
The unicorn grew slightly nervous. "Grandmaster........are you sure that allowing that colt to join our order is wise?" The unicorn asked.
The pegasus chuckled a little bit. "Don't worry about it.....one problem at a time." The Pegasus said.
Battle at the Manehatten base/explaining the predicament.....part two
__________*Four minutes later Rainbow Dash's cloud home Scootaloo's room*_________
Scootaloo was in a world of confusion just a few hours ago......now?..........she felt alone now........so she got up off her chair and then went downstairs......Scootaloo.......Venom and Rainbow Dash already had a talk just a few minutes ago........Rainbow had taken it very well to be honest.
Scootaloo walked down the stairs and caught Dash's attention. "Hey squirt......what's up?" Dash asked.
"It's nothing I just want to go for a walk.........oh uh......hey Rainbow can you carry me down?" Scootaloo asked getting a nod from Dash.
Scootaloo walked outside followed by Dash.

Scootaloo walked towards the edge and got a mischievous look in her eye. "Hey Dash.......I'm ready." She said.
Dash nodded then walked over and told Scootaloo to get on her back so she could go down.........Scootaloo did so and climbed onto Dash's back.....accidentally digging her claws into Dash.
"Ow ow ow......Scoot please retract the claws." She said painfully.
Scoot gasped and did so......then told Dash she was ready.
Dash smiled lightly then flew downwards from the house..........and then felt something on her back move.....so she turned around.
"Scoot......what are you doing?" Dash asked then she slowed down as they neared the ground.
Scootaloo's head shot up as she heard Dash ask her something. "Wha?....oh....sorry Dash I was just.....thinking about Storm.......do you know where he is?" He asked....Dash just shook her head.
"Sorry Scoot.....I don't know......I had the weather team keep an eye out for him......I mean Seriously......he had a few dozen clouds to clear above town hall.....they sat there all day." Dash said sighing.
"It's ok Scoot......if I see him I'll let you know alright?" Dash asked.
Scootaloo nodded as she began walking towards town...........but she stopped and then turned around and started walked in the direction of the Everfree.
Scootaloo kept walking...unaware that she was being followed.
Scootaloo walked into a cave and saw a lake inside then walked up to it and sat down.
When she was sure she was alone Scootaloo leaned over the pool and waited.......until the water shimmered.....and then looked up and saw a reflection of herself was standing on the water.
"You have come here seeking answers to your questions......but know that these answers.......good or bad can have far reaching concenquenses......I ask you this......are you certain you must know?.....something's are better not known." The reflection asked.
Scootaloo nodded then spoke. "I wish to know.......what happened to me......and why?" She asked.
The reflection walked closer to Scootaloo and then stopped when it was two feet away. "Your question.....is a good one......you are curious but you wish to know if there is a way to return to your original body......but at the same time you don't want to leave the one you have now.......but if you really want to know this.....then listen." The reflection started.
"The reason that you are in the form of a tiger is simple.......you had a desire.......a desire to change......the reason that you are a tiger now is this......you are a morphidike.......a rare Breed of pony.....that has the ability to change between....for example......your original body and a new kind......one that suits them the most.......unfortunately that is the only bodies you can become so you can switch between a tiger and a pegasus." The reflection continued.
Scootaloo whistled a little bit......."wait a minute......then how do I change back?" She asked.
The reflection chuckled. "You must open your mind......and think of yourself back in your pegasus body." It said plainly.
Scootaloo looked down as she did so.......and sure enough in place of a tiger was a pegasus filly.......Scootaloo was overjoyed at the fact that her cutie mark was still there.
Scootaloo thanked the reflection before turning around aiming to leave the cave when she heard the reflection speak again.
"One moment.......before you go I want you to know this........next year one month before Nightmare night.......the world as you know it will be replaced by one of confusion.......find out as much as you can before then." The reflection said before fading.
Scootaloo left the cave with a look of worry on her face but discarded it in favor of going into deep thought.
"ok then......so I'm a rare pony who can turn into a tiger and one year later and one month before Nightmare night.......the world will change?........I'll figure this out but first I'm going to find Storm and then I'm going to give him a peice of my mind."Scootaloo thought.
Scootaloo then walked towards Manehatten....still unaware that she was being followed.
________*thirty minutes later at the fields between Manehatten and Ponyville.*_______
Scootaloo walked across the lengthy fields that ironically did not have any form of crop........and stopped.
She got a look at her surroundings the sky was partially cloudy there was plenty of trees expansive green fields and a ripple of dirt coming right for her.
"Whoa!" She yelled and flew up quickly.
Scootaloo watched the ripple....and noticed it was following her.......she moved some to her left....it followed.....she continued to stare at it.
She heard something move because when she moved.....the ripple did not follow.
She watched it carefully and then flew down and slowly walked towards it.
She heard something come from bellow and then made it out as a voice.
"Come here." It said faintly making Scootaloo gulp.
The ripple moved slightly and soon a rock with words carved on it flew out and landed in front of her.
"Look up." It said.
Scootaloo chuckled at this. "Yea right like I'll fall for...."
"SURPRISE!" A voice said landing next to her causing a large cloud of dust to appear and making Scootaloo fall over.
Scootaloo coughed and soon heard a voice giggling after her ears stopped ringing.
"Hey did I surprise you huh huh huh?" The voice said.
Scootaloo rubbed her eyes......the voice was definitely feminine....a filly's by the tone of it so she looked up to see who it was......she gasped at what she saw.
"oh no not another one." she thought.
The filly who startled Scootaloo shared a deep resemblance to Pinkie Pie.....only she was a pegasus filly with a White coat a yellow mane and tail that looked exactly like Pinkie's three purple balloons for a cutie mark in fact.....the only thing that she did not share with Pinkie was her bright red eyes.
Scootaloo stood up and her bones creaked causing her some pain. "Ow......hey." Scootaloo said trying to get the filly's attention....she succeeded.
"Yea?" The filly asked then turned her head in confusion.....either that or it felt good.
Scootaloo checked her wings quick and found that they were fine.
"What was that about?" Scootaloo replied.
The filly sat down and looked at the ground sadly. "Sorry......i was just excited." She said.
Scootaloo smiled lightly and walked over. "It's fine besides no harm done." She said holding her hoof out for the filly. "So....anyway My name is Scootaloo.....what's yours?" She asked.
The filly beamed and shook Scootaloo's hoof rapidly. "My name is Surprise so......where are ya going?" Surprise asked letting go of Scootaloo's hoof.
Scootaloo rubbed her hoof slowly. "I'm going to Manehatten........i have fealing that my friend is there.....besides he sort of is my brother.....if only because of my sister's relationship with him......so how about you?" She asked.
Surprise opened her mouth like she was going to talk but closed it.
"Actually I came out here to sulk.......so come on let's go find your brother......by the way do you feel like your being followed?" Surprise asked.
"Not really why?" Scootaloo replied getting a mumble from the pegasus.
"Oh it's nothing....come on let's go." Surprise said running off towards Manehatten.
Scootaloo sighed and ran off after her. "What the buck did I get myself into?" She asked herself.
__________*one hour later Manehatten outskirts...near the royal guard base*________
Surprise was happy......not just a mask of happiness but genuinely happy.....she found somepony who did not make some random excuse to run away....this one stayed.
"So Scootaloo tell me about this brother of yours......you know what does he look like?" Surprise asked.
Scootaloo seemed to tense up a bit at the question but answered it nonetheless.
"He's a pegasus colt with a discolored blood red coat sort of a apocalypse theme mane and tail color.....a storm cloud with a fire around it cutie mark......by the way if you talk to him about his cutie mark just say mark......he hates the full name.....and he has one forest green eye and one discolored blood red eye." Scootaloo explained.
Surprise continued walking and then suddenly she stopped. "Then we should make camp we won't be able to find him at night.......even if it is brighter on a full moon." She said then she pulled out a small folded cloth from her mane.....just like Pinkie.
Surprise then unfolded the cloth to reveal it was a tent.
Scootaloo decided to ask her about it....she probably knew how she did that.
"Hey Surprise.....how did you do that?" She asked.
Surprise looked at her with confusion. "Huh?" She replied.
"How did you pull that tent from your mane?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise then realized what she was asking about. "Simple......it's bigger on the inside.......I don't know how but I do know that." She replied.
Scootaloo shrugged and then sat down and looked up at the sky. "You know.....I heard stories....that the pony's that lived before Celestia's reign shunned the night......I don't know why....the night is beautiful.......and I went complete sap just now." She said.
Surprise sat down next to her. "Yea I know......and don't you worry nopony will know about you having a sappy side on my life." She said.
Scootaloo smiled. "You know Surprise there is something I want to show you but I'm not sure how you would take it." She said looking up at the moon.
Surprise raised an eyebrow in confusion....then chuckled. "Nah....you don't have to worry about me.......besides.....if you are a changeling it won't bother me any......so come on what is it?" She prodded gently pushing Scootaloo's shoulder.
Scootaloo sighed then looked at Surprise. "Ok fine......just please if you try to panic at least let me explain ok?" She asked getting a nod from Surprise.
Scootaloo then emptied her mind and pictured herself as a tiger.....and sure enough in place of a Pegasus was a tiger.
Both Scootaloo and Surprise stared at eachother silently for a moment before Surprise motioned Scootaloo to sit next to her.
Scootaloo sat and then found Surprise poking her as is she was checking to see if she was real.
"Ok....your real......but the question is.....what are you?" Surprise asked.
Scootaloo knew this answer and then looked at Surprise with confidence. "I'm a morphidike.....I can change between my pony body....and this body....since apparently it's what my subconscious believes suits me.....and it does." She explained.
_______*three minutes later inside the tent*_______
Scootaloo was sleeping and so was Surprise when a figure silently entered the tent and looked down on the two sleeping fillies...the moonlight revealed the figure to be a unicorn stallion..........who then levitated a knife over Scootaloo when suddenly....both Surprise and Scootaloo lunged at him and knocked him to the ground sending his knife through the tent.
"Surprise quick." Scootaloo strained entering her tiger form for more strength.
Surprise reached under her pillow and pulled out a brick......and then hit the intruder on the head with it.
With a loud thud the stallion was out cold.
"I don't suppose you have rope in your mane huh?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise shook her head. "But I do know where we can get some vines and a natural magic disprupter......if that helps." She said receiving a smile from Scootaloo.
"Alright then......lets go get some." Scootaloo said walking out of the tent when she heard a terrible howl.
Surprise rushed out. "Scoot.....did you hear that?" She asked knowing full well she did.
Scootaloo gulped. "What the buck was that?" She asked to nopony in particular.
Surprise walked over to Scootaloo and put her hoof on her shoulder. "Scootaloo we have to run.....now!" She said walking into the tent and came back out with the passed out stallion.
Scootaloo switched back to her pegasus body and took off as well. "We have to find Storm as fast as possible." She called to Surprise.
Surprise flew closer to Scootaloo. "Scoot......I'm afraid to say it but......your brother is actually what we are running from right now." She said sadly.
Scootaloo looked at her new friend with surprise and confusion.....then she put it off as she spotted some thick roots and flew down quickly.....then she flew back up carrying them.
"Surprise keep steady.....I'm going to bind the unicorn." Scootaloo said plainly.
Surprise stopped and kept herself steady while Scootaloo tied up the stallion.
Scootaloo tied up the stallion's forelegs and then his back legs and then told Surprise that he was tied up causing her to start moving.
"Hey Surprise....I have a question." Scootaloo asked with genuine curiosity.
Surprise looked at her and smiled. "I know what you are going to ask so say it already."
Scootaloo's eyes widened at this and then she sighed. "Fine.....what makes you think it is Storm chasing us?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise smiled. "First hoof experience Scoot.....tomorrow I'll tell you after we disrupt the unicorns magic." She replied.
High in the sky was the full moon.....while some found it beautiful one particular pegasus would never know.
As the night slowly passed a figure charged through the fields......a werewolf to be precise....that werewolf was Storm Blitz....former member of the Stalliongrad ritual team.
Storm kept charging.....when he had a scent he would not lose it......ever.
So Storm kept moving and eventually he stopped at an abandoned camp site and sniffed around.......upon finding the scent he howled and then charged in Scootaloo and Surprise's direction even if he did not know it....he also smelled two other scents.....one was as strong as the others but the fourth was faint.....no matter.

Scootaloo landed on a tree branch and Surprise landed on one close to her and both of them were breathing heavily.
"So.....Surprise......where is that magic disrupter huh?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise looked at Scootaloo and managed to get her breath under control as did Scootaloo.
"I see it.....I just have to put this unicorn down......its your turn now." Surprise said flying over to Scootaloo and then throwing the unicorn over her back getting a pained grunt from Scootaloo.
"Please hurry up." Scootaloo pleaded as the weight was getting to her.
Surprise nodded and then flew towards some tree sap and rubbed her hooves in it then flew towards Scootaloo and rubbed the sap over the unicorn's horn.
Scootaloo looked at Surprise in confusion. "Tree sap?......how is that a magic disrupter......besides......how did your hooves not get stuck in it?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise smiled for a second before returning to a serious look. "It's special tree sap found only in these woods.....you see about three hundred years ago there were many forests containing this sap......only back then the unicorn's were oppressive and they burned down all of those forests......as a way to fight back the earth pony's and pegasi made this forest a national landmark so the unicorn's could not harm it.....the thing is this tree sap will be like lotion to earth pony's and Pegasi but to unicorn's it sticks to them........long story short of a unicorn try's to use magic with this sap on their horn.....it could prove fatal at worst.....at best they lose their horn.....also it will keep him unconcious until we wake him up." Surprise explained.
Scootaloo nodded in understanding.....then she and Surprise flew towards a nearby cave for shelter.
Surprise then walked towards Scootaloo and put a hoof on her shoulder.
"Scoot....there is more to this cave......up for some exploring?" Surprise asked.
Scootaloo smiled and nodded and so she and Surprise walked back through the cave.
_________*ten minutes later Greatwood Forest at Scootaloo and Surprise's hiding spot*________
Storm cautiously entered the cave......and began sniffing.....and smelled Scootaloo and Surprise's scent also the unicorn's scent......and faintly the mystery scent......he then howled one more time and charged through the cave.....unaware that the moon was almost down.
As Storm charged through the cave he heard some yelling......probably his prey......he then charged quickly through the cave tunnels and then he found the mystery scent......he saw an earth pony filly and he realized that the filly had a different scent then the mystery scent....but he found that the filly had two.......a changeling......he smirked and charged at blinding speed and drove his claw through the filly.....who then was engulfed by green flame.
The changeling coughed. "H.....how.....how did you......know?.....who are you......." The changeling paused as it saw what had attacked it.
"No....n...no it...can....can't be......your kind.....are....extinct.....w....we made sure of it......" The changeling managed to say before he succumbed to his wounds.
Storm smirked and let out a triumphant howl and then chased after his other prey.
_______*deep inside the cave*_______
Surprise was out of breath as she and Scootaloo reached another chamber in the tunnel system....only to discover a dead end.
"Oh no.....that means we...." Surprise trailed off as she dropped the unicorn and turned around.
To Surprise and Scootaloo's horror their path was blocked by Storm who was still In werewolf form.
Storm began to walk towards them slowly.
"Oh no....um Storm is that you?" Scootaloo asked causing Storm to stop.
Storm turned his head in confusion. "Err?" He grumbled.
Surprise leaned in towards Scootaloo. "Hey keep talking.....just buy time.....ok?" Surprise suggested.
"Um ok.......so Storm we would very much appreciate it if you did not eat us....or kill us....so....is that ok?" Scootaloo asked.
Storm snarled and resumed walking towards Scootaloo and Surprise.
"Ok....wrong thing to say......hey Storm want to hear a paradox?" Scootaloo said out of nowhere making Storm stop again.
Storm looked at her with confusion. "Err?" He grumbled.
Scootaloo gulped. "last chance" she thought. "Ok Storm here it is.......you can kill us but you can't harm us." Scootaloo said.
Storm lowered his head as he thought on it.
Scootaloo decided to get a better look at Storm.....his fur was now thick and now had pitch black mixed with his normaly discolored blood red coat.....his ears were longer and more pointed.......his teeth were large long and sharp.....and the rest of him was basically just like a wolf.
Storm suddenly clutched his head and began howling in pain.
Scootaloo gasped and her eyes began to water.
Storm then stopped and fainted.
Scootaloo and Surprise's jaws dropped at this......but Surprise almost fainted after she saw what was happening to Storm's body.
Storm's fur was shrinking.....more like retracting into his skin.....his teeth returned to normal and so did his ears and the rest of him.
A few moments later in place of Storm the wolf was Storm the pegasus.
Scootaloo noticed something then....while Storm dreamed his rear legs randomly twitched.
Storm woke up and turned around groggily. "Hey....Scootaloo?....what are you doing in my house?....and who is that?" He asked pointing at Surprise.
Storm then fell over again slowly regaining his focus.
______*one minute later*_______
Storm rubbed his eyes as he stood up and noticed Scootaloo and Surprise.....he then hit himself on the head a few times.
Scootaloo walked over to him slowly and then placed a hoof on his shoulder.
"Hey Storm are you ok?" She asked.
Storm chuckled and grinned like a madpony. "Are you kidding this is great!.....I didn't know you had a special someone!......also I did not know you were a fillyfooler.....but that's ok." He said happily then changed both his eyes to green.
Scootaloo went red with embarrassment. "Uh...I...I am not!" She yelled at Storm who was now rolling on the ground laughing.
"You are lying......i don't need my green eyes to tell you that.......besides you would be lying to yourself if you said you we not attracted to.....I'm sorry what was your name?" Storm asked Surprise.
"Oh me....I'm sorry my name is Surprise." She replied.
Storm smirked. "You would be lying to yourself if you said that you were not attracted to Surprise......Scoots.....ok that's enough of that come on we have to get back to Ponyville so that you two lovebirds can have some private time." He teased while picking up the unconscious unicorn then walked out of the chamber leaving a blushing Scootaloo and a giggling Surprise behind him.
Surprise walked up to Scootaloo.
"Come on we should get going." Surprise said waking out of the chamber.
Scootaloo's wings then shot open. "Oh no.....Storm was right.......I'm attracted to Surprise!" Scootaloo said to herself in panic while blushing.
Scootaloo then gulped and ran out of the cave but a peculiar thought entered her mind. "wait.....why would Surprise want to come with us?" Scootaloo thought.
________*outside the cave five minutes later*_______
Surprise stretched out her wings and gave off a sigh of relief. "Oh yes....it feels so good not to have to carry that unicorn anymore.....how about you Scoot?" She asked.
Scootaloo stretched as well. "Yep now we can see who that unicorn is." She added.
Storm nodded and put the unicorn down and widened his eyes. "Um Scoot...Surprise we should untie him wake him up and knock him out again then go home." He said plainly.
Scootaloo walked over to the unicorn and gasped.
Surprise walked over and turned her head in confusion. "I don't get it who is he?" She asked.
Storm looked at her and sighed.
"This....Surprise...is captain of the royal guard Shining Armor.....brother to the element of magic and we just kidnapped him." Storm replied.
Surprise gasped and then backed away. "Oh my gosh.....oh no I am so so sorry but it was self defense I swear." She said stated.
Storm chuckled. "On no it's fine come on help me untie him." He said starting to pull on Shining Armor's bonds.
Scootaloo put a hoof on Storm's shoulder and shook her head while chuckling. "It's ok I got this." She said switching into tiger form and cutting the ropes.
Storm stared at Scootaloo and then laughed. "Yes! I knew it I knew I was not the only strange one here!" He cheered.
Scootaloo raised an eyebrow at Storm.
"Come on let's go.....someone will find him." Storm said walking towards Ponyville.
"Hey what happened to waking him up and then knocking him out again!" Scootaloo yelled.
"No point lets go." Storm replied.
Surprise and Scootaloo signed and then followed Storm who began singing his favorate song.
_________*thirty minutes later outskirts of Ponyville*_________
Storm.....Surprise and Scootaloo all walked towards Ponyville and Storm had stopped singing.
Scootaloo and Surprise sighed in relief....and then shuddered. "Hey Surprise....why are you coming with us to Ponyville anyway?.....I mean wont your parents be concerned about you disappearing?" Scootaloo asked.
Surprise's usally happy look was replaced by one of sorrow. "No....no they won't......they will never be concerned about me." She said sadly.
Scootaloo draped her wing over Surprise. "Hey....um I'm sorry....I did not mean to.......you know bring up a touchy subject." She apologized.
Surprise smiled and then draped her own wing over Scootaloo.
"It's fine....besides I did not mean they were bad parents it's just that....well they aren't with us anymore." She said.
Scootaloo got the message and decided not to prod.
Storm however chuckled for a while before turned towards the two filly's. "Hey Surprise, Scootaloo, I know what we could do." He started.
Scootaloo and Surprise raised an eyebrow at him.
"What?" They both said in unison.
Storm grinned like a madpony and got in between the two filly's. "We could form a trio called the w.o.t." He said.
"The what?" Scootaloo asked.
"Ugg....the werewolf...the orphan and the tiger....the w.o.t....you know....or the S team?" He suggested.
Scootaloo and Surprise looked at eachother and giggled. "Option two." They said in unison.
Storm grinned and then cheered. "Ok then......the S team it is.......but first....lets go home my legs are killing me." Storm said taking off towards Ponyville.
Surprise gave Scootaloo a quick kiss then took off. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" Surprise shouted.
Scootaloo's wings shot open again as she realized what just happened.....she then smirked and took off after her brother and her friend.
"You are so on!" Scootaloo shouted.
For this trio of Pegasi their story was just beginning.
The tale of three Pegasi, the Werewolf, the Morphidke and the Surprise.
_________*one month later Rainbow Dash's cloud home*_________
Within the past month Surprise had been allowed to stay at the cloud home on a few conditions.
One that she clean up after herself which Surpirse understood perfectly.
Two the she did an equal share of the work also understandable.
And three that she not touch anything that was not hers without permission, that she not break anything, and Surprise did so, she did not cause any trouble at all, in fact she sometimes did a little too much without realizing it.
Rainbow Dash and Storm Blitz were currently out of the house working on Ponyville's weather.......how did Storm get that job anyway?
Scootaloo was at School right now so she did not have her best friend and snuggle buddy, one and a half weeks ago Scootaloo and Surprise had started to develop a relationship but Storm had suggested that they should keep it small for now......they both saw the reasoning in that and agreed.
Even though Surprise had no idea why he would suggest that but Scootaloo said she did know why, when Surprise asked, Scootaloo had told her that it was complicated but she should not worry about it right now.
And so Surprise lay on the couch, just wanting some company, she then looked over at the bookcase, she was told that she could read any books on it as long as she put them back, so she walked over to the bookcase and looked through the books.
"Hmm lets see.....the entire Daring Do series published, somepony is a fan, hmm, Marelock Holmes, hello what's this?" Surprise said to herself as she found a big black book with a leather wrapping, she read the title and the description.
"The operatives of the Artic, this book contains the names and basic information of the operatives of the Artic, assassin's, spy's and sabatour's." Surprise read off.
Surprise shrugged and carried the book over to the couch and began looking through the profiles of the operatives, she quickly got bored of the spy's section considering they were all dead....she then reached the assassin's section and began to look through them.
Surprise found an interesting page. "The Stalliongrad division, the Ritual team, containing seven members, this team instilled terror throughout the northern griffon empire for two years under the command of Crack Shot, this team almost destroyed the entire northern griffon empire before the Artic called a truce with the three griffon kingdoms."
Surprise turned the page.
"Crack Shot, age forty nine, status deceased, code name Cultist, this earth pony was an honored war hero even before the war with the three griffon kingdoms, like all members of the Ritual team Crack Shot had a unique ability, the ability to turn himself into stone at will, he also survived many fatal wounds and had almost died at the battle of the 'Shrai'hurk' fortress due to a bastila bolt, he had superior intelligence and was capable of making calm and rational choices even in times of chaos, he also had on him the runes of the champion, which allowed him to become nearly untouchable by magic....while giving him increased strength." The page ended.
Crack Shot was a dirt brown earth pony with a charcoal black mane and tail and an arrow cutie mark and yellow eyes.
Surprise turned the page and saw something she was not expecting in this book, a pegasus filly.
"Sift Wave, age eleven, status deceased, code name shaman, this pegasus was the youngest operative to ever serve in the Artic special ops, like all members of the Ritual team Sift Wave had a unique ability, she could manipulate any form of liquid to her will, Sift Wave was the only member of the Ritual team to be able to calm down her partner and knew exactly how to incapacitate him without violence, Sift Wave was also the Ritual teams first casualty, before that she alone had killed three battalions of griffon soldiers with relative ease, she carried the runes of the mystic which gave her more understanding and made her immune to magic, she had a respectable intelligence and could easily maneuver within many situations, it is also rumored that she lived in Equestria for a time before joining the Ritual team." The page ended.
Sift Wave was a gray pegasus with a swirling wave cutie mark, cyan eyes and a light blue mane and tail with a blue streak.
Surprise turned the page.
"Warp Arka, age twenty seven, status alive, code name fanatic, this earth pony is not well known outside of Stalliongrad, like all members of the Ritual team, Warp Arka has a unique ability, she can summon runes on the ground in a pentagram pattern and then teleport to them at any given time, Warp Arka was the Ritual teams primary spy because of her ability, she also had a knack for making firework bombs which would have the power of ten implosion spells combined, with this she destroyed many convoy's of griffon troops and supplies during the war, she had a hatred of one of her pegasus teammates and because of this she carried the runes of anger, these runes will empower her whenever she chooses giving her massive amounts of strength and speed.....but her intelligence fades away the longer she uses it." Warp Arka was a white earth pony with a pentagram cutie mark brown eyes and a black mane and tail.
Surprise turned the page.
"Jagged Edge, age forty four, status alive, code name heretic, this earth pony was once mighty in the kingdom of Equestria in fact he was Equestrian so he had a more passive ability, he was able to find pressure points easily which made him an effective assassin and an exceptional medic, Jagged Edge prefers the quiet life instead of the war life, but he continues because he does not wish his teammates to fall, Jagged Edge was responsible for the deaths of many griffon officers before the war ended and he was chosen to be given the runes of caution, these runes made his footsteps make no sound and he was also giving the ability to make himself invisible but has a chance to never become visible again." The page ended.
Jagged Edge was a brown earth pony with turquoise eyes, a bone cutie mark and a light brown mane and tail.
Surprise turned the page.
"Quartz Ember, age thirty, status alive, code name priest, this pegasus was Equestrian at birth but found herself more at home in the Artic, like all members of the Riutal team Quartz Ember had a unique ability, she could set herself on fire without pain, she was immune to any form of blinding spell, not much is known about Quartz exept she was born in Cloudsdale, Quartz also led a small army of prisoners from the northern griffon empire into Equestria so they could live their lives, it is clear that Quartz still cares for Equestria even though she is its enemy, for this Quartz was given the runes of the matriarch giving her enhanced intelligence and also gave her the ability to gain massive amounts of strength speed agility and wisdom." Quartz Ember shared a striking resemblance to Fluttershy if only through color, she was a yellow pegasus with a pink mane and tail and had a flame bee cutie mark, she also had soft blue eyes.
Surprise turned the page.
"Partial Dark, age twenty six, status alive, code name demon, this earth pony was once a citizen of Stalliongrad before he was forced underground, like all members of the Ritual team Partial Dark had a unique ability, he could bend the shadows to his will and even become a shadow should he choose, Partial Dark was more of a pacifist however and took no part in the combat, he chose to become the Ritual teams medic, but should the need arise he will fight, these actions gave him the runes of insight, he could then see everything with his very own eyes, but if channeled correctly they could destroy anything, though he used it for medical purposes." The page ended.
Partial Dark was a black earth pony with a black mane and tail he had black eyes and had an eye for a cutie mark.
Surprise turned the page.
Surprise was completely shocked by this new information.....Storm was in the book.
"Storm Blitz, age twelve, status alive, code name psycho, this Pegasus is the strongest fighter in the entire Ritual team, like all members of the Ritual team Storm has a unique ability, except he has two, Storm is a werewolf which means that whenever a full moon rises he transforms into a wolf, he also has three diferent forms of ocular abilitys, the green eye which allows him to become a living lie detector and can see anything within a mile radius if he uses one but with two these abilitys are doubled, the red eye which allows him to read his opponents moves and adjust accordingly, it also gives him great strength, when he uses two these abilitys are doubled, the black eye, there is no information on this eye as of yet, he defeated one thousand griffon soldiers by himself by flaying them all from the inside out, his 'art' he called it, these actions awarded him with the runes of the psychopath, it allows him to become invulnerable to magic and gain strength and agility while making his sanity disappear, it is rumored that Equestrian royal apothecaries experimented on him making him permanently insane." Storm Blitz is a discolored blood red pegasus with an apocalyptic color mane and tail, he has a firecloud cutie mark and his eyes change, forest green, discolored blood red, purple and possibly black.
Surprise closed the book.
"I can't believe it." Surprise said to herself.
Surprise picked the book up and then she walked over to the bookcase and put the book back, she then grabbed the Marelock Holmes book and then began to read that.
No matter how hard she focused on the book Surprise could not stop thinking about Storm.
"What happened to you?" She said to herself.
Surprise managed to push Storm out of her mind as she read the book.
__________*meanwhile the ponyville sky above the post office*________
Storm was clearing out the clouds in the area when he heard someone behind him he turned to face whoever it was.
There was a Pegasus mare behind him, gray coat blonde mane and tail, bubble mark and gold eyes, except one was normal while the other was a lazy eye.
"Can I help you?" Storm asked the mare.
The pegasus smiled and pulled a small package out of her saddlebags. "Is your name Storm Blitz?" She asked politely.
Storm nodded and soon decided to answer. "Yea that's me, what's the package?" Storm asked.
The mare shrugged and flew over to him and then pulled out a pen.
"I don't know that is not my business, ok then, I'll need you to sign here here and here, then we can both go on with our day." She replied.
"Ok then." He said, Storm grabbed the pen and signed his name on the package.
The mare smiled and gave Storm the package. "Thank you, goodbye." She said before flying off.
Storm just stared. "Oh crap, what was that mare's name?" He asked himself but shrugged, he then opened the package to see something he was expecting, pony anatomy, but in truth, Storm opened the book and saw his real prize, his favorite dagger, unlike most Pegasi who prefer to use hoofblades......Storm preferred the dagger.
This dagger had the runes of the bloodthirsty on one side and the runes of revenge on the other, the bloodthirsty runes gave the dagger immunity from magic and caused it to be stained with the blood of its victims, the more blood stained, the sharper and more sturdy it became, the runes of revenge gave it a faint black glow, it made the dagger extremely light and made it so you could stab yourself without any harm, Storm also made some modifications to the dagger which allowed him to hide it under his wing and draw it very quickly.
Storm smiled. "I've missed this dagger, did you miss me Demise?" He asked the dagger.
Storm had a brief flash of sanity and concealed the dagger and went back to work.
"Can't be lazy now that won't do at all." Storm said to himself as he started to sing quietly.
________*flashback*_______
Storm woke up with a jolt as he examined his surroundings, three solid walls and one wall that had iron bars on it, he knew it......he was a prisoner of war.
Storm sighed and took a closer look, gray sanitized walls, "I'm in a Laboratory, wonderful." He mused.
A door was opened and Storm looked outside it, a griffon was thrown into a seperate cell, Storm looked around it seemed like there was others, a changeling, an earth pony, a unicorn, a Pegasus......and now they had a werewolf.
"Wonderful, as if this could not get worse, might as well make the best of it." He said to himself and he kicked the bars making a slight dent.
"darn these are some tough bars......gonna have to keep at it though."
Storm continued to kick the bars until they were ready to collapse, but an apothecary walked in from of the bars and smiled evilly.
"Ah, the dog it's good to see that you are awake, and feisty by the looks of it, good good, but you are also exhausted, which means it's time for your first dissecting." He said.
The apothecary called some guards who proceded to drag Storm out of the cell, Storm would of fought back but he used too much energy attacking the bars.
_______*one minute later*______
Storm was pushed into a lab room and soon he found himself being strapped down to a table.
"You will pay for this, even If I have to wait three years, you and this country will pay." Storm said blankly.
The apothecary laughed. "And how do you plan to do that? we know what you are and it won't matter, I will perform my work and when I'm done with you, heh heh....lets just say you will fear me until you die." He stated.
Storm chuckled earning him a hard blow to his side. "A bold statement, and I'm afraid it will be you who cowers in fear of me, say what you will it won't change anything." He replied.
The apothecary hit Storm hard in the side again then pulled out a bonesaw. "Magic might be useless against you, but physical torture however.....well then let's find out." The apothecary said as he cut Storm open.
Storm screamed in pain as he felt various devices drill into him......and eventually he passed out from the pain.
_______*three hours later*______
Storm woke up due to him feeling a jolt in his side. "Huh who what?" He said randomly, he then looked up and saw a unicorn mare staring at him.
"Ow, ugh what happened to my head?" He asked himself.
The unicorn however just shook her head and sat down.
"They threw you into my cell after they saw what you did to yours, you landed on your head, but either way that is not what you should be worried about." She said.
Storm raised an eyebrow and stared at the unicorn who was now pointing at his side, Storm looked at his side and was shocked by what he saw, there was now metal fused to his body and was directed around the wingbone, he tapped it and felt it was real, he walked in circles and found that the metal was flexible enough that it acted like real skin, Storm was horrified, he turned around to look at his new 'cell mate', the unicorn mare had a white coat with an electric blue mane a music note mark and had bright red eyes.
"So uh, who are you?" Storm asked reaching his hoof out.
"Normaly I don't trust or like unicorns but now I have no choice."
The mare did not turn to face him but she did shake his hoof without saying anything.
"My name is Vinyl Scratch, and you?" She asked still not facing him.
Storm was annoyed by her not facing him but decided not to get mad. "Storm Blitz, and how come you won't face me?" He countered.
Vinyl Scratch sighed and then blinked.
"Because it won't make a difference if I do or not, just so you know im temporarily blind, it's been happening for years of my life, on and off, that's what my sight is nowadays, heh....oh well." Vinyl said.
Storm looked at her and raised an eyebrow. "Ok then so why are you here?" He asked.
Vinyl chuckled a bit. "Isn't it obvious?, I mean the only reason I'm here is because they want to know unicorn anatomy, and the fact that they want to know how to use my blindness to find a way of making blinded soldiers fight again." She replied.
Storm chuckled a little bit. "How do you know that?" He asked.
Vinyl looked at him and grinned like a madpony. "I have 'very' good hearing." She said.
Vinyl then blinked a few few times and sighed in relief. "Thank Celestia, I can see again!, now I just have to enjoy these next five months." She said to herself.
Storm shook his head in disbelief. "this mare is almost as insane as me.....almost." he thought.
"Hey did anypony ever tell you that you look like a demon?" Vinyl said randomly.
Storm looked up and chuckled. "Yea, but I prefer being called a demon over beast." He said wrapping his hooves around the bars.
"Hey i think we might be able to escape." Vinyl said out of nowhere.
Storm smirked with insanity. "Very well, I'm all ears, miss temp blinded." Storm teased receiving a death glare from Vinyl.
Vinyl sighed. "Ok look, you were almost able to break through the bars right?, well the thing is I can break them but I'm exhausted by the time I do, so what if we worked together to get out?" She suggested.
Storm sighed and agreed.
______*one minute later*_____
One of the guards ran through the cell block and reached the cell that Vinyl and Storm were being held, he noticed they were both exhausted and smiled evilly, he entered the cell.
Storm at that very moment moved as fast as he could and knocked the guard to the floor then he delivered a powerful kick to his neck ending the guards life.
Vinyl ran over and grabbed the guards keys and then charged out of the cell with Storm right behind her, they reached a hallway and ran down it.
"So where too?" Storm asked as they reached a fork in the hallway.
Vinyl grinned again. "The armory, we'll need weapons." She said turning right.
Storm followed Vinyl exactly making sure he did not lose her.
Vinyl and Storm eventually reached a large door which had two signs on it. "Armory, Confiscated items."
Storm went through the confiscated items attempting to find his dagger Demise and Vinyl followed.
As Storm and Vinyl walked through the many confiscated items boxes they looked around and Storm saw something interesting and walked over to it.
Storm read the label on the container, "experiment four." It read.
Storm opened it and chuckled evilly, inside the container was a pair of wing blades that could looked like they could cut steel and still allow flight, and a short cylindrical device with a wood handle and iron body, a trigger and a hole at the tip, Storm could not use this device for certain, he found a box that was full of metal casings and he could tell there was something inside of it, he closed the box and threw the device and the box to Vinyl after warning her which she caught in her magic, Storm proceded to equip the wing blades.
"Storm.....what is this thing?" Vinyl asked.
Storm shrugged at her. "How should I know? come on let's keep looking." He said continuing his search for his dagger.
Vinyl looked at the device with confusion and decided to hold onto it for now and examined the device, she saw the trigger in it and decided to pull it after pointing it at a nearby wooden panel.
BANG! Vinyl covered her ears as did Storm when they heard the loud bang, Vinyl looked at the wood and saw that whatever she did went right through the wood, Vinyl chuckled while grinning eagerly, she then looked at the device and saw it had a note and an engraving.
Vinyl read the note. "Hello whoever or whatever found this, I'm not expecting anypony to know what this is but listen, this device is called a 'gun' and I recommend caution, for good reason, I hope you use this for better purposes than I, also the engraving reads, C.I.A.S.P.R, aka Copper Industry's Adaptions Self Protection Revolver, mark two, this gun is the strongest of its class, also remember the bullets are 'NOT' reuseable so make your shots count, I left the instruction manual and ingredients list so you can repair and make more bullets, ps.the attachment on Bullet Bill's barrel will make its bullets more destructive upon leaving the pistol." The note ended.
"Bullet Bill huh?, I guess it makes sense, ok then gotta find Storm." Vinyl said gripping both the bullet box and Bullet Bill in her magic then walking off to find Storm.

Storm finally found his precious dagger Demise, and a saddlebag for Vinyl so she could carry that box with ease, he also found a leather strap that had a short blade hidden inside, he equipped that, he also found a pair of purple shades and put them on. "If these are Vinyl's I'll give them back, but for now I better find more equipment, hmm oh that will do nicely." he said to himself walking over to another container, inside was a strange device that was attached to a leather strap, he looked it over to find a small tube that looked like a potato launcher but with a lever that could be activated through biting it, he saw the ammunition and saw that it was a bunch of cylinders and noticed a saddlebag.
"Well why not." He said to himself and equipped the device and stored the ammo in his new saddlebag, he also loaded the launcher.
Storm smirked. "well now that I'm fully equipped lets get out of here." he thought while charging through the confiscation section.
______*over at Vinyl*_____
Vinyl Scratch ran through the vast corridors with the 'gun' drawn for protection, she decided to call out for him. "STORM!" She shouted.
All of a Sudden she heard a loud thud behind her and she flipped around pointing the gun in that direction, only to see a makeshift commando looking Storm, she sighed lowering her gun in the process.
"Storm, what are you doing?" Vinyl asked.
Storm stood back up and Vinyl noticed that he was wearing her shades, and had her blade strapped onto his foreleg, she also noticed that he was now wearing two saddlebags and had what looked like a potato launcher strapped onto his other foreleg, as funny as it looked she wanted her stuff back.
"Storm can I have my shades and blade back?" Vinyl asked.
Storm nodded as the shades were pulled off his face and the blade was carefully pulled off. "Hey Scratch I got you something." Storm said taking the empty saddlebag off him and tossing it to Vinyl.
"By the way that blade of yours is awesome, I got three with it, also is it ok if I call it the hidden blade?" Storm rambled.
Vinyl was shocked and soon that turned into anger, "Storm! this blade is older than me! you have to be delicate, also yes you can call it that because that is what it is." Vinyl said calming down a little.
"Also thank you for the bag, at least I don't have to carry all of Bullet Bill's bullets with my magic now, so what did you find?" Vinyl asked.
Storm smirked. "I found my dagger Demise for one, and some form of launcher, by the way....Bullet Bill?" He asked teasingly.
"It's the gun's name, I did not name it.....also, Demise?" Vinyl countered.
Storm smiled proudly. "It's only the best dagger in all of the Artic! it got the name because all of its victims die when I use it, anyway let's see what this launcher does." He said facing the direction that was deserted, he raised his hoof and bit down on the lever, and a soft thud was heard followed by a louder bang then before followed by an explosion.
Storm grinned like a madpony and then rubbed his hooves together while chuckling evilly.
Vinyl sighed. "Ok that's enough we have to get going....before something else happens." She said receiving a nod from Storm.
_________*ten minutes later*_________
The riot from earlier had died down as the guards got it under control, all test subjects were accounted for exept for their most dangerous two.....who were now at the exit.
Storm and Vinyl walked onto an elevator and then Storm slammed the button to go up, also setting off the alarm.
Vinyl sighed as she got ready for battle. "Here we go again." She said.
Storm groaned in annoyance. "It was only twice! besides I had no choice." He replied.
Vinyl grinned. "Yea yea yea, just remember if we get out of this alive you owe me a drink." She stated.
"Fine." Storm replied.
As the alarm kept blaring guards started pouring in so Storm and Vinyl began fighting starting with Storm firing a 'grenade' as he called it.
Vinyl kept shooting her new gun using her magic to supply the gun with magic bullets.
Guard after guard they kept coming until Storm ran out of grenades.
"Oh yea!, time to have fun, heh heh.......and TO KILL!" He shouted charging forth shredding any guard foolish enough to be in his path.
Vinyl was shocked at this but quickly focused on the task at hand, and she ran out of bullets, so she too switched to fighting in close combat unleashing some strange energy while doing so.
______*three minutes later*______
Soon enough Vinyl and Storm stopped fighting as the guards stopped coming, and as if on cue the elevator arrived.....they both boarded.
Vinyl dropped to the floor and leaned up against the wall of the elevator panting heavily.
Storm leaned against the wall seemingly unfazed by these events and turned towards Vinyl, and chuckled.
"Oh come on you can't possibly be tired can you?" He asked.
Vinyl looked up at him and chuckled. "Yea says you, I just didn't expect to use up that much shadow energy that quickly......oh well." She said resting her head on the railing.
The elevator let out a ding noise as they reached their destination, and Storm and Vinyl walked out to discover they were in the Manehatten recruitment office, they raised their eyebrows in confusion and they walked out of the building.
To say that they stood out amongst the local populace would be the truth.
Storm looked at Vinyl and shrugged. "So you headed home?" Storm asked.
Vinyl sighed. "Not really but I would really like to get some rest." She replied.
Storm nodded. "Yea no kidding but still I could stay awake fo....." Storm was cut short however as he passed out.
Vinyl panicked and then checked his pulse.....alive. "Oh thank Celestia, ok, got to find shelter." She said to herself, throwing Storm onto her left shoulder.
Vinyl grunted at the added weight, and then she slowly started walking.
_______*two hours later a Manehatten hotel*_______
Vinyl set Storm down on one of the beds and sighed, she then went to the bathroom to wash up.
As Vinyl walked into the bathroom she took her shades off and turned the shower on and sighed.
"Why me?" She asked herself. Vinyl stepped into the shower and started to sing softly as to not wake Storm.
Vinyl did not know why but she could not help but sing when she showered, but she did not fight it.....it actually was relaxing for her.
"I'll never tell anypony my secret, not even him, he will find out though, that's good in a way, at least I know that he won't be easy to fool." she thought.

Vinyl entered the bedroom after drying off and then looked around the room.
The room was nothing special, wooden brown walls red carpet and white ceiling, an entrance to the bathroom and the door that led outside......and two beds.
Vinyl looked over at Storm and smiled a little before walking over to her bed and then trying to get some sleep.
"there is something I don't know though, how is he a werewolf? ugh no point in thinking on it now......gotta get some rest." she thought before drifting off to sleep.

Storm smiled a little and then continued with his work, he wasn't going to earn money just sitting there, he flew off clearing more clouds.
Storm also smiled at something else while working. "well what do you know, I'm still somewhat sane.....there's hope for me yet." he thought.
_______*Ponyville school*_______
Scootaloo was sitting on the roof of the school deep in thought. "how will I explain this to Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle?, I don't know if they will hate me or ignore my existence, but if I don't tell them they will find out sooner or later.........gahhh I hate this so much!"
Scootaloo sighed as she flew off the school building and landed on the ground, the winter break was over and that ment her friends would have to deal with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon's insults.
"Come on Scoots I avoided them for a whole month how bad could one day be?" She asked herself before walking out into the open.
And as if on cue Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle walked into the school playground at the same time as Scootaloo who then decided not to tell them.
Sweetie Belle noticed Scootaloo and waved her over.
Scootaloo walked over to her friends and saw that they still did not have their cutie marks, to Scootaloo's sadness.
"Hey Scootaloo." Sweetie Belle said happily.
Scootaloo smiled. "Hey Sweetie Belle, hey Apple Bloom." She replied.
Apple Bloom looked at her with annoyance. "Hey?, you don't see us for a whole month and you say hey?, why not hey Sweetie Belle how are you and hey Apple Bloom how are you huh?" She snapped.
Scootaloo was taken aback by this statement and looked at the ground in shame. "Sorry, I was thinking on something." She replied.
Sweetie Belle walked between her two friends as if to block more conflict.
"Ok hold on you two, Apple Bloom for one shame on you, you can't just yell at her when she didn't do anything, and Scootaloo shame on you for not at the least writing to us, don't you know how horrifing it is when one of your best friends just disappear?" Sweetie Belle asked.
Scootaloo gulped and looked at her friends. "Apple Bloom, I'm sorry ok it's just that....." Scootaloo sighed, "....i didn't know how to explain this to you but......look." She said showing her cutie mark to her friends who's jaws dropped.
Sweetie Belle quickly hugged Scootaloo. "Oh my gosh this is wonderful!" Sweetie Belle said happily.
Apple bloom walked over and stared at Sweetie Belle then looked at Scootaloo. "Is this real?" She asked.
Scootaloo nodded at Apple Bloom.
The school bang rang and signaled school was in session.
Scootaloo walked towards the door with her friends and she leaned in close to their ears.
"After school I can show you what my cutie mark means, if it's ok with you that is." Scootaloo said.

Scootaloo was sitting in between her friends with Diamand Tiara sitting in the front to the far left, and Silver Spoon was sitting right behind Apple Bloom.
Scootaloo was beyond bored, for one she knew everything that the teacher was talking about until the subject of Changelings came up.
"..now Changelings are thought of to be evil due to the fact that they eat emotions, but this might not be true, as far as we know this is the Changelings way of survival, not much is known about them exept that they usally take the form of a unicorn or pegasus so they can keep the ability of flight or magic, also their true form looks like that of a bug, they have a black carapace, fly like wings, a horn and many holes in their legs, they also have short fangs and hexagonal eyes, the royal guard and Princess Celestia refuse to answer questions about them in fact the only reason we have this knowledge is because of the earlier rage on them." The teacher finished.
Scootaloo thought on somthing as the teacher told the class that they would have to write down what they can learn about Changelings from their friends or family.
"its a good thing I know somepony with extensive knowledge on Changelings, I just hope that she will help me." she thought.
______*school playground two minutes later*______
Scootaloo walked up to her friends and asked them if they wanted to go with her to talk to her source.
"Sorry Scootaloo me and Apple Bloom are going to talk with Twilight, so hey can you show us what your cutie mark means?" Sweetie Belle asked.
Scootaloo nodded then motioned her friends to follow, they did so but Apple Bloom was skeptical.
________*ten minutes later behind the Ponyville post office.*_______
Scootaloo walked up to a stack of crates and to face her friends.
"Ok so....you ready?" Scootaloo asked.
Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom nodded nervously.
Scootaloo sighed and went through the steps to switch into a tiger and soon changed.
Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle almost screamed before Scootaloo shushed them.
"Quiet I don't need everpony to know about this, look i swear it's me, let me prove it." Scootaloo requested.
Sweetie Belle carefully walked forward on put a hoof on Scootaloo's nose....and then hugged her.
Scootaloo was lost as she pulled Sweetie Belle of her.
"Uh Sweetie Belle, why did you do that?" Scootaloo asked.
Sweetie Belle smiled as she tapped Scootaloo's nose. "It's that scar....right there.....don't you remember the one time we were out in the everfree trying to get our cutie marks?" She asked.
Scootaloo nodded. "Yea and I ended up getting cut so deep a had a permanent scar on my nose......its a miracle I can breathe." She replied.
Apple Bloom however wanted more proof. "Ok then now it's my turn, i have a question only the three of us know, one day after we failed getting our cutie marks we decided to get advice on how to do this, who did you want to go ask but ended up talking to last?" She asked.
Scootaloo then raised an eyebrow. "Dash, but still Apple Bloom.......we are not the only ones who know that." Scootaloo replied.
Apple Bloom thought on something. "Hmm, ok then where did you and Dash go for a vacation?" She asked.
Scootaloo sighed and then smiled. "Stalliongrad up north where I met Storm and Applefritter." She replied.
Apple Bloom gave up. "Fine fine your her, and can you switch back because this is disturbing." She asked.
Scootaloo nodded and changed back into a Pegasus.
Sweetie Belle smiled and then walked up to Apple Bloom.
"Come on Apple Bloom let's go talk to Twilight." Sweetie Belle said leaving the alley.
Apple Bloom followed leaving Scootaloo by herself.
Scootaloo flew off towards Sound's house and then stopped.
"It probably would be a good idea to bring Storm, or maybe I could ask Dash...yea the second one sounds good." Scootaloo said to herself flying towards home....until it started raining heavily.
Scootaloo sighed and flew down to the ground and found herself in front of Sugercube Corner."might as well, good thing they're open today." she thought walking inside.

Scootaloo entered the bakery and was immediately welcomed by the smell of sweets as she looked around, she saw some familiar faces.
Storm was having a drinking competition with an overconfident stallion, Rainbow Dash was having a conversation with Applejack, and Sound was ordering something at the counter.
A cheer was heard over by Storm as he laughed at the now unconcious stallion before him. "I knew it! I knew he was a lightweight." Storm said to nopony in particular.
Rainbow Dash sighed as she walked over to Storm and picked him up and carried him over to the table she and Applejack were sitting at.
"Hey Dash why ish the room shpinning?" Storm slurred.
Dash sighed again and set Storm down on the booth.
Scootaloo was unsure what to make of this so she decided to talk with Sound.
Sound walked over to a booth and waved Scootaloo over.
Scootaloo walked over to the booth and sat down with Sound.
Sound leaned back on the booth.
"Alright so what do you want?" Sound asked.
Scootaloo rubbed her forehead lightly.
"I wanted to talk to about Changelings, if its ok with you that is." Scootaloo asked.
Sound raised an eyebrow. "Why are you so curious all of a sudden?" he asked.
Scootaloo then leaned on the table. "Its for a test at school, apparently if I don't complete it I could get expelled." She replied.
Sound stared a moment before rubbing his forehead. "Fine but still, don't tell Rose or Minutte I told you this stuff or they will murder me, i'm supposed to be laying low remember?" he whispered.
Scootaloo nodded with understanding.
Sound began to explain facts about Changelings as Scootaloo listened carefully.

Sound had finally finished his explanation of Changeling culture to Scootaloo who was taking notes in her mind.
Just as Sound finished talking the door opened and two mares that Scootaloo recognized as Minutte and Rose walked through the door nearly making Sound choke on something
Minutte and Rose walked over to Sound and Scootaloo and gave Sound a scolding look.
Scootaloo decided not to get involved and quietly walked away and as she turned around she bumped into somepony.
"Come on Scoots, help me get this knucklehead home." Said a familiar voice.
Scootaloo looked up and saw Dash looking at her.
"You know that you sounded like a stalker there right?" Scootaloo replied before standing up.
Storm let out a weeeee sound as Dash turned towards the door.
Scootaloo sighed and followed Dash out.
Meanwhile Sound was getting yelled at by Rose for leaving her alone with Aurora and Ratchet while Minutte was just agreeing with her to tease him.
________*forty minutes later Rainbow Dash's cloud house*_________
Surprise opened her eyes as she woke up and then she got up from the couch and walked towards the kitchen.
When Surprise entered the kitchen she sighed.
She was lonely to be sure, she had a new family, a fresh start, and now she was alone.
The door had been opened and Surprise went to see who it was.
Surprise walked into the living room and saw Dash enter the room with a drunken Storm on her back saying that the world was spinning.
Then Scootaloo walked inside sighing at Storm's antics.
"Hey Surprise what's up?" Dash asked.
"Not much just passing time." Surprise replied.
Dash nodded and walked over to the couch then set Storm down on it.
Surprise walked over to Storm and put her hoof on his forehead to check if he was sick, to her surprise he was fine.
"What happened to him?" She asked.
Dash sat down on the chair and rubbed her forehead. "He drank to much alcohol and won a drinking contest, I told him not to do it but he swore he would be fine....apparently not." She replied.
Surprise sighed and then went into the kitchen to get the orange juice...she opened the fridge and found the orange juice and grabbed a cup.
"I don't know if it helps or not but its the only thing Storm will eat or drink after a hangover......ugh when will he learn." She thought.
Surprise poured the juice into the cup and put it all away then walked towards the living room.
Scootaloo sat at the bottom of the stairs in thought.
"At first it was just me, then it was me and Dash, then me Dash and Storm.......and now its me Dash Storm and Surprise." Scootaloo thought.
Scootaloo's look of concern turned into one of happiness a she looked at her family.
"Heh, the Pegasus, the Werewolf, the Morphidike, and the Surprise, we are one strange group." She said to herself quietly.
________*seven hours later Scootaloo's room*________
Scootaloo was currently lying in her bed, although she was not alone, she then flipped around and smiled, for a while now Scootaloo and Surprise had taken too sleeping together as an advancement in their relationship.
Surprise smiled back at Scootaloo and gave her a light peck on the cheek.
Scootaloo giggled a little and gave Surprise one in return.
Surprise smiled and turned around to go to sleep.
Scootaloo did the same and had a single thought before she went to sleep.
"I wonder who Surprise's parents are?.......and come to think of it.....who are Storm's real parents? Scootaloo wondered.
________*Manehatten hotel Vinyl Scratch and Storm Blitz's room*_______
Storm opened his eyes slowly to wake up in a bed, confused he slowly sat up to get a better look at his surroundings.
He was inside a hotel room to be sure, possibly a Manehatten one due to the interior.....and the smell.
There was two doors, one he guessed lead outside the room the other to the bathroom, he looked to his left and saw a sleeping Vinyl Scratch who was mumbling something in her sleep.
Storm sighed as he stood up then walked to the bathroom.
_______*the bathroom*______
Storm walked over to the mirror and looked at himself.
He was covered in dirt from head to hoof and the bottom of his hooves were stained with blood, his wings were now ruffled and some feathers were gone, perhaps the thing that shocked him most was his eyes.
Instead of having their usual colors they were now that of a normal pony's....only his eyes were now purple, instead of his eyes being just fully discolored blood red and forest green.
Storm sighed and turned on the sink to wash his eyes.
After he washed his eyes he turned on the shower and got inside it.
As the water covered Storm the dirt was washed away and the blood started to come off Storm began to wonder.
"Why would Vinyl risk her life for me? this makes me wonder if there is such a thing as a 'good' unicorn, Vinyl might be an okay unicorn, but I can't risk it, I cant just abandon my comrades, but I'm beginning to change my opinion of unicorns, even if its only Vinyl. "
_______*two minutes later*_______
Storm stepped out of the shower and walked over to the mirror.
He sighed as he looked at the mirror, he then vomited in the sink much to his surprise, he looked and saw that he vomited blood.
Storm quickly looked up and was breathing heavily, he then rubbed his forehead in confusion.
"Oh come on!" He cursed silently.
Storm was now irritated until he just chuckled at the irony."heh, I overdid it again, I have to take it easy for a while, no eye powers for a bit." he decided.
Storm walked out of the bathroom.
________*the bedroom*________
Storm walked into the room and walked over to his bed and sat down.
"great.....three weeks or one year, then I can return, and of course I can use my eye powers." He thought.
As Storm pondered his next move Vinyl started to wake up.
Storm heard Vinyl wake up so he walked over to a nearby table then picked up Demise and then sat down and started to chant.
Vinyl groaned and rubbed her forehead then slowly opened her eyes.
She heard a voice speaking in an unknown language so she sat up, she saw Storm sitting in front of his bed holding his dagger Demise and was chanting.
Vinyl stood up quietly not wanting to disturb him and she walked over to the table where all of their equipment was at and picked up her shades.
She stared at her shades for a while before putting them on the table and picking up her new 'gun' Bullet Bill.
Vinyl walked over to her bed and began inspecting the gun.
As she inspected the gun she saw Storm staring at her out of the corner of her eye and she looked at him.
Storm for one did look different, his eyes were now normal and they were now purple, but what shocked her was the fact that his coat was now gray and his mane and tail were white on one end and darkened until it was black at the other.
Vinyl smiled. "Well well look who got a new look." She said teasingly.
Storm looked at her in confusion but looked at his hoof when Vinyl pointed at it and stared in shock.
"Heh, I haven't looked like this in a long time.....it feels good though." Storm said.
Vinyl chuckled then stood up and walked over to the table and put Bullet Bill down while grabbing her hidden blade.
The blade itself 'is' called a hidden blade, in fact there aren't many left, perhaps four, maybe six, definitely two......the blade was now bloody and the trigger to release the blade was jammed, she walked over to her bed and began repairs.
Storm stood up and sheathed Demise under his wing and then grabbed the 'grenade launcher' as he called it and inspected it.
"ok, two grenades and the launcher barrel has a hole in it, I wont be able to fire it until I fix it, unless I want to lose a leg" He thought as he started to fix it.
Vinyl had paused fixing the blade and set it down on the bed then walked into the bathroom.
_________*one hour later Manehatten streets*_________
Vinyl and Storm walked through the vast streets of Manehatten, they had agreed that they would stay until they were sure that they were not being hunted, and also the fact that Storm said something about having to wait a year until he could return home, but he seemed to be alright.
Vinyl however was conflicted, sure she had enough bits in Manehatten to live here for a year because of her work, but she didn't have any time restrictions like Storm, she could leave at any time but Storm......well he was stuck here for a whole year for some reason.
She looked over at Storm who was walking beside her....he was looking at the sights as it would seem to any others but in truth she could tell that he was keeping an eye out for anypony searching for them.
Vinyl tapped Storm on the shoulder causing him to jump.
"Storm you have to calm down, those apothecary's don't know what you look like now, besides we probably did enough damage to them they cant spare any guards to hunt us....ok?" Vinyl said reassuringly.
Storm stared at Vinyl before sighing and shaking his head.
"Fine but if we get captured I'm blaming you....now come on I want to get my debt out of the way." Storm replied.
Vinyl chuckled as they continued on their way.
"Hey Vinyl I'll be right back." Storm said to Vinyl while walking towards an alley.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow. "Where are you going?" She asked.
Storm pointed towards an alley and started walking towards it.
Vinyl sighed and continued walking towards her destination.
_______*two minutes later inside the alley*________
Storm walked through the alley and quickly heard some trash cans clanging behind him.
He turned around to see a group of gang members.
Storm chuckled, four in total, three unicorns and an earth pony, too easy.
"Ok kid, you have two options, one you give us everything you have.....or two, we take it by force." The Earth pony said.
The three unicorns levitated lead pipes as if to threaten.
Storm smirked and began hovering and then shrugged.
"Come and get it then you weaklings." Storm taunted while unsheathing Demise.
Two of the unicorns teleported to two opposite sides of Storm while the earth pony stood behind him and the other unicorn attempted to immobilize Storm with his magic.
Storm laughed as the magic bounced of his body as his runes activated, he then charged and stabbed the earth pony in the shoulder dislocating it entirely.
He proceeded to fly up to one of the lead pipe wielding unicorns and double kick him hard enough to shatter the unicorns spine killing him instantly.
The two remaining unicorns tried to combine their magic to immobilize Storm but it failed entirely.
Storm laughed insanely as he threw demise right between one of the unicorns eyes.
He then flew up and grabbed Demise before flying up to the last unicorns face and smirked as he picked him up off the ground.
"You know, Equestria has an enormous weakness, it relies WAY too much on magic, and the same goes for unicorns, if I didn't know any better id say that the unicorn oppression is still out and about, but no its not, oh and by the way for attacking me....you die." Storm told the unicorn with hate.
Storm plunged Demise into the unicorns heart and he flew down.
He then searched the small gangs saddlebags for money and he got lucky.
"forty bits huh?, well it looks like I did the city a favor." Storm said putting the bits inside his saddlebags, he then walked out of the alley.
________*five minutes later at a Manehatten liquor store*________
Vinyl leaned against the wall while waiting for Storm, she sighed.
"hurry up, I don't want to stay here all day, besides I got a gig tonight." Vinyl complained mentally.
She heard somepony clear their throat and turned around to see Storm smirking at her.
Storm held out some bits. "Here this this should be enough for you to get a bottle, oh and get me a drink will you, one bottle for me and one for you." He said.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow at him. "But your not old enough to drink." She replied.
Storm walked towards the apartment. "So?" He countered while walking away.
Vinyl sighed as she entered the store to purchase the drink.
_______*later that day at the apartment.*________
Vinyl waited impatiently by the apartment door as Storm finished cleaning Demise.
"Hurry up or ill leave you behind." She said impatiently.
Storm sighed as he sheathed Demise and sheathed Bullet Bill as well.
He walked over to Vinyl and smirked.
"Come on its only day one and I haven't even drank any of that stuff you got me, don't be so mad at me, I have not done anything to you yet." Storm replied.
Vinyl sighed and shook her head.
"Alright fine you win, lets just go." She said walking out of the door.
Storm chuckled and followed after her.
"Hey by the way why did you want me to bring Bullet Bill along?" He asked.
Vinyl looked at him. "Well for one its nice to have something to defend myself with." She replied.
Storm shrugged and continued walking next to her.
Vinyl just sighed and put her shades on.
"Ok Storm just so you know we do not use my real name tonight, tonight until we get back you call me Dj Pon Three alright?" She asked getting a nod from Storm.
Storm sighed as he stopped and closed his eyes.
Vinyl turned around. "Storm what is it?" She asked.
Storm sighed. "I am so going to regret this." He said opening his eyes to reveal his now forest green eyes.
Vinyl was shocked, Storm had told her that if he used his eye powers he could end up wounding himself for days.....not to mention the fact that she found out about what he vomited earlier.
She said nothing and continued walking.
_______*ten minutes later Manehatten night club*_____-
Vinyl walked up to the club bouncer and was let in.
Storm went to follow when the bouncer blocked him.
"Sorry kid no entry." He said.
Vinyl leaned over to the bouncer's ear.
"Look buddy he is here for my protection, not that I normally need it but if you don't let him pass I cant imagine what you will look like when they find you after he is done with you, just a thought." She said walking inside.
The bouncer did not budge but soon found himself acquainted with the ground.
Storm had knocked the bouncer to the ground and raced inside.
The bouncer stood up with a mind to kill when he noticed ponies getting in line to go inside, he sighed and continued to do his job.
"when that kid comes out....he is dead." He thought.
______*inside the club*______
Vinyl was setting up the sound system inside the club while Storm was at the bar.
Storm was not annoyed by the fact that Vinyl did not want his help with the sound system, he understood as he did not know how to set it up anyhow.
Earlier Vinyl had asked him what music he liked, Storm told her country was the only music he could actually listen to, she asked him what instrument he said banjo, Vinyl had insisted he hear her type of music and that she would not take no for an answer.
After a few moments of discussion Vinyl managed to convince the bartender not to kick Storm off the bar as long as he did not cause trouble, Storm replied with. "No matter what I do trouble finds me, i'll try not to cause trouble barkeep." In his exact words.
After what felt like five more minutes Vinyl had the entire setup complete and was ready to play.
Vinyl pulled out a record and set it on the turn table and began to play.....loudly.
Storm was startled at first but soon found himself liking the music, he soon found his rear hooves moving with the music against his will.
Not too long afterwards the place began to fill with ponies, Storm was not startled or surprised by this, because there was alcohol, music, a dance floor and for those with sorrow.....a dark corner.
________*a few minutes later*________
Storm was now dancing to the music, the best part of these places was that nopony would notice you, unless your a colt in a night club, he noticed that some were staring at him but he paid them no mind, the best part for Storm was that the music was not affecting his detection eyes.
Vinyl noticed Storm having a good time and smiled.
"I see that you are having fun." Vinyl said to herself.
_______*one hour later at the bar*_______
Vinyl had stopped playing the music as a new dj was playing music now, so Vinyl walked over to the bar and sat down.
Storm had noticed her at the bar and sat down next to her.
"Ok so you were right that Is some great music." Storm said.
Vinyl looked at him and grinned like a mad pony.
"I told you so, I knew you would like it." She replied.
Storm nodded. "Yep I think it beats country music, also, I can see why you like playing the music though, not for yourself no, I think you do it to make the crowd happy." He prodded.
Vinyl chuckled. "Am I really that easy? oh well its nothing." She replied before ordering a drink.
Storm leaned on the bar then heard a soft thud to his right.
Vinyl looked to her right and saw a brown stallion.
"Can I help you?" She asked.
The stallion opened his mouth like he would say something but closed it quickly and started to ramble quietly to himself.
Storm got a better look at the stallion.
The stallion had a brown coat a darker brown mane and tail an hourglass cutie mark and blue eyes.
"Um, oh! yes that was what I was going to say, duck!" He shouted as he pushed Vinyl and Storm to the ground as a large metal pipe flew over their heads as all of the patrons started screaming.
Vinyl landed hard on her shoulder and Storm on his back.
"How did I not see that!" Storm yelled.
"Probably because you weren't looking in that direction." The stallion replied.
Storm stood up as did the stallion and Vinyl.
Vinyl rubbed the shoulder that she fell on.
"Actually it is weird, Storm was supposed to see it coming." She said.
Storm rubbed his eyes. "Its either I was too distracted by our conversation or my eye powers are to dull, either way I should revert my eyes to normal." He said reverting his eyes to normal.
The stallion stared at him for a moment before turning around to see a group of six guards.
"Oh hello." The stallion said cheerfully.
Vinyl and Storm recognized them immediately and Vinyl took her gun and aimed it at the guards.
Storm unsheathed Demise and got ready for battle.
The stallion however lowered Vinyl's gun and leaned in.
"Run." He whispered.
The guards charged and Storm, Vinyl and the stallion ran off.
_______*outside*_______
Vinyl, Storm and the stallion ran out of the club and ran down an alley and the guards followed.
Storm suddenly stopped. "What the hell am I doing?" He asked himself as he turned to face the guards.
Vinyl and the stallion stopped and turned around. "What are you doing?" The stallion asked.
Storm smirked as he charged the guards and killed three of them by cutting off their heads.
Vinyl just realized how stupid she was and fired her gun at one of the guards killing him instantly.
Storm stabbed another guard in the heart and Vinyl shot the last one.
"Ok that was easy." Storm said.
Vinyl chuckled. "Yep, ok now you." She paused as she turned to face the stallion while reloading her gun.
The stallion now had a look of anger on his face. "You didn't have to kill them!" He yelled.
Storm walked over to the two. "Yes we did." He replied.
Vinyl sighed. "Your not helping Storm." She said.
Storm looked at the stallion. "Whatever, now then, who are you?" He asked the stallion.
"I'm the Doctor, just the Doctor." He replied.
Storm raised an eyebrow at him but sighed and sheathed Demise.
"Ok Doctor, perhaps now you could explain yourself, I'm not exactly patient." He said.
"Fine the reason that you did not have to kill them was because we needed them to tell us why they attacked." The Doctor replied.
Vinyl chuckled and started walking towards the apartment. "We already know why they attacked, but I didn't expect them to attack so soon." She said.
Storm followed Vinyl. "If you want to know more follow, if not stay out of the way." He told the Doctor.
The Doctor sighed and began to follow the two.
"You know that the gun is not supposed to be in this land for say, one hundred years right?" The Doctor said to Vinyl.
Vinyl chuckled. "Good then I'm ahead for an entire century." She replied.
______*twenty minutes later at the apartment*______
Storm entered the apartment and immediately threw his saddlebags on the floor under the table and then pulled out Demise and kneeled in front of his bed and started chanting.
Vinyl walked inside and set her shades and gun down on the table.
The Doctor walked up to the table and examined it.
One grenade launcher two shells one gun with an eight bullet clip, forty eight total bullets, a hoof blade, two wing blades, an instruction list for the gun, two pairs of saddlebags, the dagger Storm has and a pair of purple shades.
The Doctor was now confused. "What do you need all of this for? and what do you mean you know why they attacked you?" He asked.
Vinyl and Storm turned around to look at the Doctor who had pulled out a strange metal rod and was now pointing it at their equipment.
"Well for one that stuff is for our protection and two, those guards were sent to capture me and Storm.....and we have no intention of going back there." Vinyl replied.
"Ok my turn, what is that thing?" Storm asked.
The Doctor looked at him and pointed at the device receiving a nod from Storm. "Its a sonic screwdriver." He replied as though it were obvious.
Storm just shrugged and went back to chanting.
Vinyl however rubbed her eyes and stood up then walked over to the Doctor.
"So why did you help us?" Vinyl asked.
The Doctor shrugged. "Because I'm curious." He replied.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow at him and went to ask him a question when the Doctor beat her to it.
"Its my turn, so what is he doing?" The Doctor asked while walking over to Storm and activating his screwdriver.
"If you must know I'm chanting, it helps calm me down, it also renews my runes." Storm replied while not even looking at the Doctor.
The Doctor was looking at his sonic screwdriver with confusion and excitement.
"This is incredible, what species are you?" The Doctor asked Storm who looked at him with an insulted look on his face.
"Uh, i'm a Pegasus duh, and Vinyl is a unicorn so don't go asking her that." Storm replied.
The Doctor was busy pointing his device at Vinyl to ask that question.
"Very very odd, apparently you two are a fixed point, though I don't know why." He said.
Vinyl slapped him. "Make sense already!" She ordered.
The Doctor nodded and lowered his head and then began thinking before he looked up. "Ok then so why are those guards tying to capture you two?" He asked.
"Its because we are their escaped test subjects and we have no interest in going back." Storm said standing up.
Storm walked up to the table and pointed at him and Vinyl's equipment.
"Also me and Vinyl decided too....'liberate' this stuff from them when we left, although I think they made me insane, not that I wasn't already but still." He added.
The Doctor was now excited beyond belief.
"Oh that's why your not registering as Pegasus and unicorn." The Doctor said.
Vinyl shook her head. "Nope we weren't normal even before we were test subjects, take me for example, I go blind for a whole month every five months, and him.....well I actually don't know." She said.
Storm shrugged. "So what? I'm a werewolf nothing special." He stated.
The Doctor was now more excited. "Oh this is magnificent, its not often that you meet a werewolf, well especially since they are all but gone now, so how exactly did you get to the point where you go blind?" He asked Vinyl.
Storm sighed and went to the bathroom.
Vinyl shrugged. "How does anyone get sick at all? basically I did something stupid, but I'm thankful about one thing though, ever since it happened my hearing and general senses were improved, so what if I go blind for two months out of twelve, I feel more sorry for Storm though." She replied sadly.
The Doctor raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" He asked.
Vinyl sighed and walked over to her bed and sat down.
"For one he is stuck here for an entire year, me however I could leave at any time I want, but I'm going to stick around until then." She replied.
The Doctor sat down on Storm's bed. "And why is that?" He asked.
"It's because he needs my help even if he doesn't realize it......he also reminds me of somepony I knew, and...well, nevermind." Vinyl said trying to avoid the subject.
The Doctor however was going to prod. "Who does he remind you of?" He asked.
Vinyl chuckled. "A mare I knew a long time ago, her name was Prowler, heh she was a fun mare, she told me not to use her real name so you are not getting it out of me, she was fun though....in more ways then one, but she disappeared after her son went missing from the hospital." She explained.
The Doctor was curious so he sat down next to Vinyl. "What happened?" He asked.
Vinyl sighed. "I don't know, she told me that when she went to take her son home from the hospital he was just gone, I never saw her son, I couldn't make it to Cloudsdale fast enough, she did tell me her son's name though." She said.
The Doctor was now listening. "What was his name then?" He asked politely.
"She told me his name was Risky....I don't know what he looked like, she never said." Vinyl replied.
The Doctor shot up. "Well then how would you like to find him? He asked.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow and Storm came out of the bathroom.
"What's up?" Storm asked.
Vinyl chuckled. "The Doctor is asking us if we want to search for an old friend's foal, that is impossible we don't know what he looks like or where he is, we don't even know if he has a different name." She replied.
The Doctor smiled. "Do you want to see how we can find him?" He asked.
Vinyl and Storm decided to humor him. "Fine but we are going out armed." Storm said.
The Doctor shrugged. "Come on then." He said leaving the room.
Vinyl and Storm sighed and began to equip themselves.
______*ten minutes later at one of Manehatten's alleyways.*_______
The Doctor walked up to a big blue box and leaned against it.
Vinyl and Storm just looked at him. "Ok where is your method?" Vinyl asked.
The Doctor pointed at the box, and then opened a door and walked inside. "Its here!" He called from inside.
Storm sighed and walked over to the door and opened it....his jaw dropped. "Vinyl you have got to see this."
Vinyl walked up to Storm and looked inside the box, her reaction was the same as Storm's.
"Well come on you coming inside or not?" The Doctor asked.
Vinyl and Storm shared a look before entering the box.
_______*inside the blue box*________
Vinyl walked up to the middle of the room in awe. "Its bigger on the inside....then it is on the outside." She said not really believing it herself.
Storm was just looking around. "What is this place? He asked.
The Doctor smiled. "Its called the TARDIS, T.A.R.D.I.S, it stands for Time And Relative Dimensions In Space." He replied.
Storm just chuckled before clutching his side screaming in pain.
Vinyl and the Doctor rushed over to Storm who was chuckling. "Oops I overdid it again, no more eye powers for a year for me." He said before coughing up blood.
Vinyl picked him up and moved him over to a nearby bench while the Doctor grabbed a bucket out of nowhere. "What's wrong with you?" The Doctor asked.
Storm coughed up some more blood before smirking.
"It's a side effect of my eye powers, if I overuse them for too long this starts happening, nothing to worry about, as long as I don't use them for a year I will be just fine." He explained.
Vinyl sighed and leaned up against the wall.
"So Storm, was it worth it?" She asked.
Storm nodded as he wiped his mouth with his hoof.
"Yep, ok then Doctor, lets go eh?" Storm said with a smirk.
The Doctor reluctantly started up the TARDIS as it began to move.
"I hope this is not a huge mistake....if it is I could end up destroying a fixed timeline." The Doctor thought as the TARDIS began to phase into a different timeline.
Storm however was very eager to see Cloudsdale again, while he knew barely anything about time travel, he knew to never talk to yourself or do something stupid.
"Alright so Doctor I have one question." Storm asked.
The Doctor looked at him. "Yes?" He replied.
Storm smirked. "How is the TARDIS going to stay on the clouds?" He teased.
The Doctor's eyes widened.
Dash.....The S team and Pinkie pull pranks on Twilight and Rarity.
________* two days later the living room at Dash's cloud house.*________
Surprise was sitting on the couch reading the third Daring do book.
Scootaloo was looking out of the window.
Dash was sitting on the chair bored out of her mind.
Storm was sitting in the corner sharpening Demise.
The entire house was silent save Storm's dagger Demise grinding.
As the four pegasi sat there in almost complete silence they heard a knock at the door and Dash went to see who it was.
Dash opened the front door to reveal Pinkie standing at the door.
"Pinkie?.....how are you?......" Dash asked.
Pinkie smiled. "Oh I'm good and to answer your question Twilight used the cloud walking spell on me." She replied happily.
Storm and the others walked up to the door and Surprise gasped as did Pinkie.
Scootaloo saw Pinkie and smiled......she always liked Pinkie......she was the only one that Pinkie entrusted her secret too......and vice versa......for instance Pinkie was the only one who knew Scootaloo was an orphan for many years....and Scootaloo knew that the happy Pinkie was a mask.
Surprise and Pinkie stared at each other for a moment while Storm walked over to the stairs and continued sharpening Demise.
"OH MY GOSH YOU MUST BE NEW IN TOWN BECAUSE I DONT KNOW YOU AND I KNOW EVERPONY IN TOWN AND IF I DNT KNOW YOU THAT MEANS I HAVE TO THROW YOU A PARTY !" Pinkie yelled before Dash pulled her inside and into the kitchen leaving Storm.....Surprise and Scootaloo behind.
Surprise was now confused. "Um Scoot......who was that?" She asked.
Scootaloo walked up to Surprise and put her hoof on Surprise's shoulder.
"That Surprise was Pinkie.....believe me.....she is weirder then me you and Storm combined.
Surprise turned to face Storm who nodded in agreement.
"Ok then.......lets go talk to her." Surprise said walking into the kitchen.
Storm sighed and motioned Scootaloo to follow and continued sharpening his dagger.
________*twenty minutes later in the bushes near Rarity's shop*________
Surprise...Scootaloo.....Storm....Pinkie and Dash all sat in the bushes chuckling.
The group had decided to go pull some pranks on some of their friends.......they chose to prank the two unicorns who were very vulnerable to pranks......Rarity and Twilight....and some others.
Storm pulled out a small box and opened it to reveal three small paint balls and two noise makers....he gave Pinkie and Scootaloo the noise makers and gave two of the paint balls to Surprise and Dash.
The group of five quietly entered the shop and set up their trap.
Storm set up a paintball in the middle of some fabric that had the exact same color as the paintball......Surprise and Dash did the same while Scootaloo and Pinkie put the noise makers in a position where it would send Rarity right into a paintball....maybe more.
The group quietly left the building as they knew Rarity would be back soon.
_____*two minutes later*_____
All five of the pranksters returned to the bushes as Rarity entered the shop.
Scootaloo transformed into a tiger and held out three of her claws.
Rarity walked towards her workbench.
Scootaloo lowered her claws in countdown......three......two.....one!
Rarity screamed as a noisemaker went off and she quickly backed up into the fabric landing on a paintball then another noise maker went off and she landed in another paintball.
The group of five burst out laughing as they saw Rarity panic over her now red and green coat mane and tail.....before they heard a loud shout.
________* ten minutes later at the Golden Oaks library.*________
Twilight hummed lightly to herself as she read The Elements Of Harmony...a reference guide.
She looked to her right and saw a spot on the wall that was brighter then the rest.
"I still cant believe that Sound and Pinkie fired a cannonball into my library......they didn't even get the right wood." She thought.
Twilight was still worried.....she hadn't heard anything from Shining Armor in weeks and was starting to get worried.
She had come to the conclusion that Storm had done something to him......but two problems stood in her way.
One she had no evidence of this fact so she could not accuse him of anything.......two even if she had evidence she had no idea what sort of arsenal he had and while she could restrain him with magic.....he had Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo on his side.....she would need a way to handle both problems or she could not do anything.
Twilight heard a knock at the door and opened it with her magic....to reveal a white Pegasus filly with a yellow mane that shared an exact resemblance to Pinkie......she began to panic.
"Hi you must be Twilight." The filly said.
Twilight nodded. "Oh no.....no no no no no no no.....what happened to Pinkie!" She panicked inside her mind.
Pinkie walked into view and smiled. "Hey Twilight I wanted to introduce you to Surprise." She said.
Twilight was now sweating and signs of insanity were beginning to show.....she screamed and slammed the door.
"NOOOOOO NOT ANOTHER ONE!" She yelled.
Surprise and Pinkie were laughing and so was Storm....Dash and Scootaloo from the nearby bushes.
At that precise moment Spike walked outside of the library and saw Surprise and Pinkie.
"Hey Pinkie....who's your friend?" He asked politely.
Pinkie paused in her laughter. "Hey Spike.....this is Surprise......did you notice Twilight's outburst?" She asked in between breaths.
Spike held his claw over his mouth in an attempt to contain his laughter.
"That....that was you?" He asked barely holding his laughter.
Surprise nodded and Spike burst out laughing.
"That....that was.....that was a good one......but I think you should go before Twilight tries to experiment on you two." Spike suggested.
Pinkie and Surprise said goodbye to Spike as they left with the rest of their group.
_______*ten minutes later inside Sugarcube corner.*________
Surprise....Dash....Pinkie and Scootaloo sat at a large booth with Sound and Minutte while Storm ordered for the table.
The large group of friends were laughing about the practical jokes that they pulled a while ago.
"Wait wait wait hold on.....you did what with Pinkie?" Dash asked.
Sound stopped his laughing for a moment before talking between breaths.
"Yeah.....me and....Pinkie.....we literally grabbed my old cannon........and fired it into the library just as......Twilight opened the door and ducked.....we even had pirate hats on......oh my lord.....it was hilarious for the first few moments." Sound said.
The group laughed again but this time was joined by the entire store.
Storm covered his ears as he delivered the tray.
"Yea that is funny.....I swear Vinyl would have gotten a kick out of that." He said as he grabbed a small bottle of his alcohol and poured himself a cup.....he then noticed he was being stared at.
Storm looked over and saw Sound and Minutte staring at him as the table went quiet.
"What.....what did I say?" He asked shrugging.
Sound leaned onto the table. "What was that name you said?" He asked making sure he didn't hear things.
Storm chugged down his drink and sighed. "Vinyl Scratch.....why do you know her?" He countered defensively.
Sound and Minutte smiled. "Yea we know her......in fact we were housemates for a while." Sound said.
"We haven't talked to her ever since we returned to the hive." Minutte added quietly.
Storm could tell that they were not lying......for one both of his eyes were green so he could now see anything within Ponyville all the way to the outer fence of Sweet Apple Acres......and the fact that his eyes could tell if they were lying......not to mention that he was able to read lies even without his detection eyes....Storm smiled.
"So you knew her huh......so when was the last time you saw her eh?" He asked.
Sound shifted into a more comfortable position.
"We last saw her at the beach house we used to live in." He replied.
Storm smiled. "Oh yea.......I remember her talking about that......Vinyl also told me about you two.......apparently you three were unable to separate.......you know we actually shared an apartment for an entire year.........well then again we were being hunted so it was the best solution we could think of.....then again we did bond a lot more after we visited Cloudsdale in the year nine eighty five.....don't look at me like that." He said as Sound and Minutte stared at him in disbelief.
Minutte laughed. "You are such a bad liar......that was fifteen years ago.....there is no way that you could have been there......you must have hit your head on something." She said to Storm.
Surprise.....Scootaoo and Dash walked away to a different table while Pinkie pulled out popcorn and was watching the argument.
Sound simply leaned back in silence not willing to get dragged into anything.
"I have one simple question Storm.......if you knew Vinyl for a year tell me......what is the reason her hearing is more keen than a bats?" Sound questioned.
Storm smirked. "Because she goes blind for an entire month every five months which she used to increase her overall senses." He replied causing Sound's jaw to drop.
Minutte was still not convinced. "Ok then mister hotshot.......what do you mean you were roommates for a year?.....and what's all this crap about being hunted then?" She asked.
Storm was happy to answer. "Well for one.......me and Vinyl were the unfortunate test subjects of the royal apothecary's......that I where I got this metal fused to my body.......forcefully I might add......we escaped and armed ourselves with some 'very' nice weapons.....after I equipped them all including her shades.....that is not relevant though......we ended up in Manehatten and had to stay there for an entire year......that way we could be certain we were not being hunted." He explained.
Minutte had decided to prod more. "What weapons?" She asked.
Storm sighed. "My personal dagger Demise two wing blades Vinyl's personal hidden blade.....her gun Bullet Bill....my grenade launcher.....two pairs of saddlebags and Vinyl's shades.....and of course we had our own skills for more physical combat." He replied.
Minutte gave up and leaned back. "Fine you win.....you knew her already......but how were you in the year nine eighty five?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "Now that Minutte would be telling......and not to mention I would be breaking my promise to a friend if I did." He replied standing up then walking away leaving the two disguised changelings behind.
Sound just shook his head and chuckled. "So Minutte....I can tell that you are frustrated.......I don't need changeling powers to tell that." He teased.
Minutte just slapped him.
Pinkie stood up and followed Storm not willing to get involved in a sibling matter.
Storm chuckled at this and sat down with his family and Surprise.....Pinkie also sat down.
Scootaloo stared at Storm for moment before leaning in on the table.
"So Storm.....who's Vinyl huh?" Scootaloo asked as Dash....Pinkie and Surprise leaned in.
Storm sighed. "This is going to be a long day." He said.
The entire table listened as Storm began his story.
Flashback part two: adventure at Cloudsdale in the year 985.
Storm was laughing as the TARDIS shook violently and the Doctor was on occasion slamming the controls with a mallet.
Vinyl was holding onto the railing as the room shook.
As the room shook Storm had coughed up more blood.
Storm cursed under his breath as the TARDIS stopped.
Vinyl walked over to Storm and sat down.
"How are you holding up?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "Well......I've been better.......I should stop coughing up blood in a few more minutes.....then I should be fine." He replied before coughing up more blood.
Vinyl felt a pang of sadness at the sight of this and stood up.
The Doctor walked between various consoles and then he walked towards Vinyl and Storm.
"Ok here we are....Cloudsdale nineteen eighty five......can you hold it in?" The Doctor asked.
Storm coughed up more blood and sighed. "No need......just one more......and it'll stop." He replied.
Vinyl stood up. "Ok so Doctor....how are we not falling?" She asked.
The Doctor smiled as he walked over to the TARDIS doors and opened the door on his left.
Vinyl walked over to him and peeked her head outside and was shocked at what she saw.
Storm coughed and once again more blood came out......he chuckled and stood up then walked up to the Doctor and Vinyl.
"Hey what's so interesting that you both stopped." Storm asked.
Vinyl turned around and shrugged as she walked outside.
The Doctor followed Vinyl outside.
Storm walked up to the doors and looked outside.
They were in Cloudsdale alright but somehow the TARDIS was standing on the clouds......and somehow so was Vinyl and the Doctor.
Storm sighed as he walked outside and immediately recognized his surroundings.
Vinyl noticed Storm was spacing out. "Storm......are you ok?" She asked.
"Yea I'm fine......its just that I know this place." Storm replied.
Storm looked at the Doctor with confusion and then he rubbed his forehead.
"So Doctor....how are you walking on the clouds?" He asked.
The Doctor smiled. "That's simple....I recalibrated the TARDIS so it would stand on the clouds." He replied.
Storm looked under the TARDIS and saw that some concentrated air was under it he smirked. "You set it to hover didn't you?" He teased.
The Doctor sighed and Vinyl chuckled. "Yes.......yes I did." He replied.
Vinyl shook her head as she began walking. "Come on then......lets go do what we came here to do." She said.
Storm chuckled as he followed Vinyl.
The Doctor was mumbling something to himself until he realized that Storm and Vinyl walked off.
"Hey wait for me!" He called.
________*ten minutes later Cloudsdale hospital 3rd floor.*__________
Vinyl sighed as she searched the hospital....the Doctor had given her and Storm something called a perception filter......as long as she did not draw attention to herself she would be virtually invisible.
She searched through all of the rooms and found nothing.....Vinyl walked to the stairs and found Storm.
Storm waved her over. "I didn't find anything....how about you?" He asked.
Vinyl shook her head getting a disappointed sigh from Storm.
"Ok there is only one floor to go....lets check it out." Storm said walking up the stairs.
Vinyl sighed as she renewed her cloud walking spell and followed Storm.
Meanwhile the Doctor walked onto the floor and was confused as he tried to find Vinyl and Storm.
_________*five minutes later Cloudsdale hospital 4th floor*__________
Storm walked into one of the forth floor hallways and began searching rooms.
Vinyl walked off the stairs and walked towards a different hallway then Storm and started to check rooms.
Ten minutes passed and Storm had no luck so far.
Vinyl was not having any better luck and she decided to meet up with Storm.
Storm walked through the many hallways and eventually reached a lone hallway.
Vinyl walked around the corner and found Storm staring at a wall and walked over.
Meanwhile the Doctor had reached the fourth floor then turned on his sonic screwdriver and began to follow Storm's trail.
Vinyl reached Storm and put her hoof on his shoulder causing him to jump.
"Storm.....you ok?" She asked.
Storm sighed as he shook his head. "Yea I'm fine......but I found something....its down there." He replied.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow in confusion as she looked in the direction Storm was facing.
"I'm not seeing anything......its just a wall." She said.
Storm shook his head as he walked towards the hallway.
The Doctor walked around the corner and walked over to Storm and Vinyl.
Vinyl watched as Storm walked through the wall.......paper?
"What in the world?" She asked as she ran her hoof through the wall and it was indeed a fake wall.
Vinyl walked through the wall and the Doctor followed.
Storm walked through the hall and noticed there was only one door with a sign on it.
The Doctor rushed ahead and read the sign. "Keep out......employees only.....supply closet."
Vinyl and Storm caught up to the Doctor and read the sign.
"Very suspicious......they put a lot of effort into keeping anypony out of a supply closet." Vinyl said.
Storm looked at her....he then opened the door....before he entered he looked at Vinyl.
"You know....those sayings.....anypony.....everypony......somepony......those are racist." Storm said before entering the supply closet.
Vinyl was confused until she realized that Storm was correct.....she followed Storm into the closet.
The Doctor activated his sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the door.
"Oh no........Storm!....Vinyl! get out of there!" He called as he entered the room.
________*inside the supply closet.*________
As soon as Storm entered the 'supply closet' he immediately noticed that it was NOT a supply closet.....the room was dark and had many tables that were all to familiar to him.
"Experimentation tables." He said with rage.
Vinyl walked in and saw what Storm was enraged at.....she was also enraged at this.
"Come on.....lets hurry up." She told Storm.
Storm calmed himself down and started to search the room.
Vinyl sighed in relief as she pulled out her gun and searched the room.
The Doctor entered the room and had a look of panic on his face.
"Storm.....Vinyl......we have to leave....now!" He said.
Storm was not listening as he heard a crying foal.
Vinyl heard this as well and followed Storm.
The Doctor was now infuriated at this as he tried to get Vinyl and Storm's attention.
Storm walked in the direction of the crying and soon found the source.
Vinyl found the source as well and gasped.....there was a cloaked Pegasus crying foal who had noticed them.
The Pegasus did not say anything and just flew out through the wall leaving a large hole behind.
Storm flew off after the foalnapper leaving Vinyl and the Doctor behind.
Vinyl fired a bullet at the foalnapper and groaned in annoyance.
"Come on Doctor.....follow that foalnapper." She said jumping out of the hospital.
The Doctor tried to call out to her but to no avail.......he decided to follow and jumped out of the hospital.
________*five minutes later outside over the poor district.*_______
Storm chased the foalnapper over some 'VERY' familiar rooftops until....for some unknown reason the foalnapper flew down....Storm followed.
The foalnapper landed on the ground and the foalnapper's cloak fell off to reveal a mare who set the foal on the cloud surface before looking at Storm.
Storm noticed the mare was staring at him....he landed on the cloud surface and faced down the mare.
The mare stood up and faced Storm and chuckled.
As Storm stared at the mare he realized that she was very familiar.......she had magenta eyes.....a tan coat.....compass mark.....and had a black to light gray mane and tail.
Storm chuckled as he realized who it was. "Daring Do.....well well....she is real.....but what is she doing.....oh I see....that is her foal." He thought to himself.
"So what are you doing huh?....or am I going to have to force you to tell me?" Storm threatened.
Daring Do smiled and turned around. "You want to find out.....meet me at the abandoned warehouse in the northern district at ten...and come alone....see you around." She said flying off.
Storm watched her fly off and then kneeled down to look at the foal....he was shocked.
The foal he was looking at......it was definitely him.......Storm then remembered something the Doctor had told him....."You must never come into contact with yourself in the past or future.....if you do you'll create a paradox." He said.
Storm decided to leave the foal version of himself and chased after Daring Do but not before he left a message for Vinyl and the Doctor.
_______*Five minutes later in the exact same spot.*______
Vinyl and the Doctor ran up to the now sleeping foal and stopped.
The Doctor looked down and saw a message written on the ground. "Take him to third street in the poor district then head back to the TARDIS.....I'll meet you there some time after ten." The message said.
Vinyl immediately recognized the foal as Storm.....so she picked him up in her magic and started to walk off.
The Doctor however noticed this. "Vinyl I don't think this is a good idea.....this could be a trap." He said.
Vinyl shook her head. "No...no it isn't....Storm told me.....that he was discovered in the third street and then raised by a community and was trained as a thief......if we don't do this.....we could end up altering time......and that I take it....is very bad." She replied.
The Doctor sighed as he followed Vinyl.
________*six hours later at the abandoned warehouse*_________
Storm cautiously entered the warehouse and had activated his green eyes.
"Alright I'm here.....now what do you want!" He called.
As Storm walked through the warehouse he found that the middle of the warehouse was empty and did a quick scan.....he found Daring Do.
"So what was that about earlier?" He asked turning around in Daring's direction.
He heard some chuckling before Daring walked out of the shadows.
"Something I was hoping to avoid." She replied.
Storm did not lower his guard. "Ok then.....why did you do it.....and who was that foal to you?" He asked.
Daring took a few more steps toward Storm before stopping at four feet away.
"I did it because it was for his protection......and to answer your other question he was my son." She replied.
Storm could tell she was not lying.....even though he was taking a risk he decided to hold the pain back a little bit longer.
"Ok then......what danger?" He asked.
Daring sighed. "There is a group.....that would seek to do harm to him......they are called the Red Cross....I don't know why they sought to harm him.....only that they did." She replied.
Storm was now curious but had time for one last question. "Fine last question......who is the father?" He asked.
Daring chuckled at the last question. "There is no father." She replied.
Now Storm was VERY confused. "Then who?" He asked.
Daring smiled. "You know who.....unlike most who despise this.....the other parent is a mare.....you came to Cloudsdale with her......so tell me why does this concern you....a complete stranger?" Daring countered.
Storm chuckled and began to walk out of the warehouse. "Because I came here for answers....I got them........see you next time......mom." He replied flying away.
Daring's eyes widened before chuckling. "Well that Is one thing I got to do that others cant.....I just spoke to my kid right after his birth.....see you next time Risky." She said walking towards the exit of the warehouse.
________*ten minutes later at the TARDIS*________
Storm walked up to the doors of the TARDIS with a small smile as he switched his eyes back to normal.
He reached the doors and opened one...Storm then walked inside.
Inside the TARDIS Vinyl and the Doctor waited for Storm.
Storm walked over to Vinyl and the Doctor and smirked.
"Come on then lets go." Storm said.
Vinyl jumped in surprise and the Doctor rose up to his feet and began activating the TARDIS controls.
"Storm where were you?" Vinyl asked.
Storm chuckled and then sat down next to Vinyl.
"I'll tell you later......also did you do what I asked?" He asked.
Vinyl sighed and nodded. "Yep....your now at the third street.....and your here." She replied.
Storm leaned back on the railing and sighed in relief.
"That's good....now all of this will happen." He said.
Vinyl leaned back on the railing as well. "Yep....ok then Doctor where are we going?" She asked.
The Doctor turned around. "Well then that is entirely up to you." He replied.
Vinyl sighed in exhaustion. "I just want to get back to the apartment and sleep.....after that I really don't care." She said.
Storm just shrugged. "Same here....though I might want to blow up the royal apothecary complex." He said.
The Doctor leaned against the console. "Alright then so what will it be......home or a different adventure?" He asked.
Vinyl groaned and looked at Storm who gave her a shrug. "Ugh.....fine one more." She conceded.
The Doctor smiled as he began setting a course. "Alright then first we go back to your time and rest then we can go if you are still willing." He said.
Storm nodded and began to feel the aftershock of his eye powers...he managed to hold it in....barely.....he walked over to the TARDIS doors and leaned on the nearby railing.
Vinyl took notice and walked over to him. "Storm are you ok?' She asked.
Storm looked at her. "Yea I'm fine.....just need some rest.....I might be going weak......na not possible." He boasted.
Vinyl chuckled as the TARDIS began to shake. "Doctor you need to work on that!" She said.
The Doctor merely laughed as he worked. "Why?.....its fun!' He replied.
Storm chuckled. "Yea come on Vinyl you need to lighten up." He teased.
Vinyl looked at him in disbelief. "Are you kidding I'm way more carefree then you." She countered.
_____*two minutes later outside the hotel in Manehatten.*______
Storm walked out of the TARDIS then Vinyl and the Doctor followed.
"Ok then I will be seeing you tomorrow....but don't count on it the TARDIS never gets the time right." The Doctor said.
Vinyl shook her head and walked towards the hotel. "Ok Doc...see ya......oh and by the way." She paused as she used her magic and grabbed her gun from the TARDIS.
"You cant have it Doc....seeya." She said.
Storm groaned. "Bye Doctor.....also you might want to work on that room shaking thing." He said following Vinyl.
The Doctor walked up to Storm and stopped him.
"Before you go......remember whatever happens between you and Vinyl has to stay that way.....because for some reason you and her are a fixed point in time....I don't know why but anything that happens between you two becomes a fixed point.....so be careful.....also I'm glad that you got the answers you were looking for.....and thanks for not creating a paradox because that would have been horrible." The Doctor said.
Storm smiled. "I know thank you and your welcome........it feels good to get some form of answers.....at least I know who my birth parents are....and that they are alive.....seeya." He said walking off.
The Doctor walked back to the TARDIS and opened the door then looked at Storm.
"I wonder why Storm and Vinyl are so important.....time to get some answers." He said to himself entering the TARDIS.
Vinyl looked back to see that the Doctor was leaving and Storm was behind her....she continued to the hotel.
As Vinyl walked to the hotel she heard coughing behind her and she quickly turned around to see that Storm was once again coughing up blood.
Storm stopped momentarily and looked up. "What?.....I got my answers.....it was worth it......wouldn't you say so.........mom....heh well what do you know....I said it.....oops that was anticlimactic....and I'm out." He said before passing out.
Vinyl ran over to Storm and picked him up. "You really know how to overdo it huh kid?....better get inside." She said continuing to the hotel.
_____*five minutes later inside the hotel room*_____
Vinyl set Storm down on the bed and took his equipment off.
After Vinyl removed all of Storm's equipment she began to remove hers.
Storm looked horrible compared to normal.....he was missing fur in multiple areas and was missing almost all of his feathers on his wings......Vinyl had no idea how she missed this.
Vinyl finished taking her equipment of and set it on the table along with Storm's....she then walked over to her bed and sat down.
"What happened to him?.....and how did he find out?" She thought.
Storm groaned softly and then started to kick his leg like a dog....Vinyl chuckled at this.
"I guess that some parts of being a werewolf stay with you even if you change back." Vinyl thought.
Vinyl laid back on the bed in hopes of getting some sleep.
________*The next day Manehatten hotel.*_______
Vinyl groaned as she woke up.....she slowly opened her eyes and sat up.
The room was the same way that she left it which Vinyl gave a sigh of relief about.
She looked over at Storm who was still sleeping.....Vinyl smiled as she got up from the bed and walked over to the table and searched through the equipment.....nothing changed which meant that they were safe.....for now.
Vinyl heard Storm saying something and listened. "Hey come on now.....I was just getting started......don't tell me that you are tired......sorry what's that?.....you cant talk.....oh sorry I forgot you were dead.....ha....I made a funny......hey you guys......let me see one hundred of you and one of me......give me a challenge." Storm said out loud.
This made Vinyl concerned......she knew that Storm would not hesitate to kill.....but what if he started killing innocents......she could not stop him due to those runes so she decided to just not mention it.
Storm groaned as he awoke and opened his eyes and to his relief nothing changed save the fact that he had no weapons on him.
He took a quick look of his surroundings and noticed that all of his weapons were on the table but Demise was on the end table next to him.
Vinyl was sitting on one of the chairs in such deep thought that she didn't notice Storm wake up.
Storm stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom quietly as not to disturb Vinyl.
He walked into the bathroom and looked at the mirror and his eyes went wide.
Storm looked like he fought one thousand griffons....again......he turned on the sink and washed his face before feeling a familiar sensation in his throat.....he looked down quickly and coughed up blood.
"I need to take it easy or I'm dead....I lost to much blood last night......if I use ay of my eye powers I risk death.....cant do that now can I....got a daughter and wife that need me......have to recover." He thought and smiled.
"My little Spark....heh never thought I would say that.....oh well......I cant believe I overdid it....again." Storm said to himself.
Vinyl heard Storm coughing and the splat that followed.....she cringed in sorrow.
"Storm you ok in there?" Vinyl asked.
Upon hearing this Storm sighed and coughed up more blood. "Yea I'm fine.....just the aftershock.....I'm going to get a shower I'll be out in a while." He replied.
Vinyl shook her head at his antics but finally remembered that they haven't eaten at all in two days.
"Storm I'll be back gonna get some food.......got any preferences?" She asked.
Storm coughed up blood one last time before looking up. "Yea I got a preference......blood or meat.....fruit is fine though." He replied.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow.....she could understand him having a taste for meat and fruit.....but blood?
"Um....ok then....I'll be back." She said.
Storm turned on the shower and stepped in.....he let out a moan of pleasure as the water poured down on him.
Normally Storm would not care about cold water hitting him but in this case he could not be happier.....for one he felt like a furnace and two it reminded him of home.....and three the water washed away the blood...dirt and loose feathers.
As Storm showered something finally hit him. "Oh crap......my mother is a unicorn......if my teammates back home hear about this I will never hear the end of it." He said to himself.
Storm smiled though. "Oh what the hell......I don't care at all." He said as he shook his head and he began to clean himself up head to hoof.
Flashback part three: Storm and Vinyl bond...their way.
_______*twenty minutes later Manehatten hotel....Storm and Vinyl's apartment*_______
Storm spun his dagger on the wooden floor as he waited.....he stopped coughing up blood a few minutes ago and ever since he was bored.
After a few more moments of spinning Demise Storm stopped and stood up.
Storm for the most part was ok......although he was still missing much fur and many feathers he had recovered rather easily.
Although for some odd reason Storm could not get a single thought out of his head......"kill" It said.
Storm bit his lip hard enough that his lip began to bleed......and while he tried to push it out of his mind he made a shallow cut on his leg. "What am I doing....I'm letting a voice get to me." He said as he licked the blood of his lip.
He did not know why but blood always calmed him down.....even when he was five it calmed him down while with other filly's and colts they would scream and run off.....not him.
"I am not a coward......not ever.....fighter any day." He told himself.
The door to the apartment opened and Vinyl walked in with two bags.
"Hey Storm....sorry I'm late....very long line." She said.
Storm smirked and shook his head. "No problem....so what did you get?" He asked.
Vinyl set the bags down on the table and levitated one over to Storm.
Storm looked inside the bag and grinned happily...he then pulled out a moderate sized piece of meat.
"Oh yea.....beef......Vinyl you want some?" He asked.
Vinyl groaned and shook her head. "No thanks.....you know a lot of pony's would call you a cannibal for eating that." She said.
Storm took a bite out of the meat and swallowed. "That show's what they know.....a cannibal is someone who eats their own species....I think......either way this stuff is great." He replied cheerfully.
Vinyl sighed at him and pulled out an apple and took a bite out of it.
"I guess being a werewolf has its perks." She said.
Storm looked at her and nodded. "Mmmhmm......I should know.....I am one." He replied.
Vinyl sighed as she continued to eat her apple silently.
________*one hour later*________
Vinyl was standing against the door waiting for Storm.
"Come on already I want to get this over with as quickly as possible." She said.
Storm peeked his head from the bathroom doorway. "You are joking right?.....never mind I'm coming." He said.
Vinyl sighed as Storm walked towards her. "Alright I fixed the grenade launcher and I came up with a name for it.....I call it Smoker." Storm said happily.
Storm walked up to the table and grabbed Demise then sheathed it......he equipped his wing blades and grenade launcher then picked up Vinyl's shades and tossed them to her.
Vinyl grabbed the shades in her magic as she equipped her hidden blade and sheathed Bullet Bill....she smiled and threw the shades back at Storm.
"Keep it.....I don't need them." She said.
Storm grabbed the shades and smirked as he put them on. "I cant see a damn thing." He said.
Vinyl chuckled and then opened the door. "Come on.....we had best get moving.....and don't you dare get sappy on me you hear?" She teased.
Storm did a mock salute. "Yes mom." He countered.
Vinyl gave him an irritated look before realizing he tricked her. "Very funny now come on." She said leaving the room.
Storm followed her with the full intention of tormenting her the entire time.
_______*ten minutes later outside the Manehatten royal guard recruitment building*________
Vinyl and Storm walked up to the entrance of the royal guard recruitment building and stopped.
Storm grinned and looked at Vinyl. "So......you sure you want to do this?......we could just wait." He asked.
Vinyl shook her head and looked at Storm. "Yea......its either us or them.....I say they die." She said walking towards the building.
Storm sighed as he kept up with Vinyl even with his heavy saddlebags.
Vinyl and Storm entered the building instantly receiving the attention of every guard and recruit there.
For a few moments Vinyl and Storm stood in silence until they drew their weapons.
At that exact moment all of the guards and recruits charged at Storm and Vinyl.
Storm laughed like a maniac as he began hovering and he raised his hoof and aimed the grenade launcher.....and fired.
Vinyl smirked as she pulled out her gun and started firing.
Storm's grenade landed next to a large group of unicorns and exploded.
Vinyl shot and killed a guard instantly and then used her magic and hit three guards with raw magic......she then made a smokescreen so she could reload.
Storm laughed evilly as he unsheathed Demise and began slaying the guards.
A few minutes passed and there was only five guards left.
Storm took flight and flew between two guards killing them instantly with the wing blades.
Vinyl used her hoof blade and stabbed a guard in the heart and then fired Bullet Bill's last bullet to kill another.
Storm and Vinyl turned to face the last guard who was shaking in fear.
Vinyl teleported behind the last guard and stabbed him in the heart.
Storm's eyes widened at this....then he gave her an evil look. "I thought we agreed that I got the last kill?" He said.
Vinyl stuck her tongue out at him in a mocking manner then laughed.
Storm shook his head and dropped his saddlebags and began to empty them revealing fireworks.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow at this. "Fireworks.....that's your plan?" She said.
Storm nodded as he began planting them. "More like unstable firework bombs.....help me spread them out." He replied.
Vinyl sighed as she began to plant several firework bombs. "This will most likely make us terrorists.....you know that right?" She asked.
Storm walked up to her and chuckled. "Na......I am already a terrorist in Equestria's eyes.....what could this possibly do to me?" He joked.
Vinyl gave him a concerned look and then walked towards the exit. "Just set them off.....then get out of here." She said walking out of the building.
Storm smiled as he planted the last bomb......he then walked up to the exit and aimed the grenade launcher at on of the bombs.
"Enjoy this parting gift." He said firing the grenade.
Storm then made a hasty retreat from the building as the grenade went off.
After Storm and Vinyl left the building the building exploded causing mass panic among the populace.
Fire rained down from the rubble of the building so Vinyl and Storm ran off as quick as they could.
_______*ten minutes later at the apartment*_______
Vinyl entered the building and sat down at the table.....she sighed.
"I went from DJ to killer in a single day......but then again those apothecary's did have it coming.....hopefully they wont come back.....but I wont drop my guard until I'm sure." She said in her mind.
As if on cue Storm walked into the room and kneeled in front of his bed and started to chant.....something.
"Storm what are you chanting.....and what language is that?" Vinyl asked.
Storm sighed and turned to face her. "Its a dying language that the Artic brought back to life....they use it for their rituals........it is called Arask......used by the pegasi nine hundred years ago.....not many are aware of its existence outside the Artic......unless you search deep enough.....or if your a certain sun bitch.......she is the reason it was dying." He said.
"Also I'm chanting a farewell to those who died today.....its a custom back home." He added.
Vinyl nodded and then another thought came to her head. "Can you teach me the language?" She asked.
Storm turned around to face his bed and continued chanting while he thought on it.
Vinyl smacked herself in the face for that question and sat in silence as she unequipped herself.
Storm stood up and did the same but kept Demise with him.....he then looked at Vinyl.
"Very well.....but remember....you must never teach it to anyone else.....ever." He said as he walked back to his bed and continued chanting.
Vinyl nodded and then walked to her bed and sat down.
______*four hours later outside the apartment*______
A strange thudding sound was in the air as a big blue box materialized.
Then a stallion walked out and sniffed the air.
"Good for once I got the date right.....even if I am a little bit late." He said.
He looked around and saw that he was In the same place as last time.....but saw no sign of Vinyl and Storm.
"Oh well...I love exploring." He said walking towards Vinyl and Storm's apartment.
He looked up and saw someone looking at him from a window.....the window curtains then closed.....but he recognized the person as Storm.....he kept walking but heard some cans rattle behind him and he quickly turned around.
In front of him was two guards....both male.....one unicorn and one Pegasus......he knew that the royal guard refused to allow earth pony's into their ranks.....he grinned.
"Oh hello......did you need something?" He asked.
The unicorn walked slowly towards him.
"You will deleted." He said with a robotic voice.
The Doctor's eyes widened and he started to run away.
Both the unicorn and Pegasus charged the Doctor.
The Doctor ran around the corner and ran headfirst into something....or someone.
He looked up to see a grinning Vinyl looking down at him.
"Hey Doc.....what's up?" She teased.
The Doctor stood up quickly then pushed Vinyl.
"Hurry up we have to get out of here!" He yelled running off only to be grabbed in Vinyl's magic.
"Calm down Doc....Storm and me got them." She said calmly.
Vinyl walked around the corner and fired a powerful magic blast at the unicorn.
Meanwhile Storm jumped down from a nearby building and stabbed the Pegasus in the head with Demise.
Vinyl ran up to the unicorn and stabbed him in the back legs with her hidden blades and went for the kill.
The Doctor grabbed Vinyl's hoof just as she moved to kill the unicorn.
"Stop.....we need it alive." He said.
Vinyl gave the Doctor a disgusted look before yanking her hoof out of his grasp.
"It?" She asked.
The Doctor aimed his sonic screwdriver at the unicorn and turned it on.....soon in place of a unicorn was a metallic pony.
"A Cyberman.....or in this case Cyberpony.....they are very dangerous." He stated.
Storm laughed and put his hoof on the Doctor's shoulder. "Yea right.....they.are.easy.to.kill." He replied.
The Doctor said nothing and began pointing his screwdriver in the air then activated it and soon it was pointing at Storm.
Storm and Vinyl gave the Doctor a confusing look before the Doctor pointed the screwdriver at Storm's eye and activated it.
"Doc what are you doing?......well?" He asked.
The Doctor pulled the screwdriver back and looked at it.
"Well that's odd." He said.
Vinyl tapped the Doctor's shoulder and gave him a confused look as he looked at her.
"What's odd?" She asked.
The Doctor then put his screwdriver away and then took the head off of the Cyberpony.
"Its odd because you two are remembering something you shouldn't.....the weird part is that Storm is giving off a weird energy." He said as he pointed the sonic screwdriver at Vinyl and activated it.
Vinyl was confused. "What energy?" She asked.
The Doctor pulled back the screwdriver and looked at it. "Your giving off strange energy as well......you two are giving off some weird energy....its different for both of you but I can tell that the energy that Storm is giving off is because of him being a werewolf which for some reason exists here......and you Vinyl are giving off a more hollow energy.....I don't know what it is but it is very strange." He said.
Storm just sighed and shook his head. "Well Doc.....you came at a good time.....but me I just want to go home and chant......but that wont happen now will it?" He joked.
The Doctor gave him an infuriated look. "How can you joke at a time like this!.....if we let the Cybermen loose this could mean the end of the world!" He yelled.
Storm chuckled. "Well for one it keeps me sane....and believe me you would think the Cybermen would be toys compared to me." He said walking away.
Vinyl shrugged at the Doctor and walked towards the apartment.
The Doctor sighed and followed them.
"This is going to be a long day." He thought.
Storm faced Vinyl and the Doctor and started walking backwards.
"Come on.....hurry up....I want to have some fun.....and blood if possible." He said cheerfully before turning around and continued walking.
______*the next day Rainbow Dash's cloud house...the living room 4:51 PM*_______
Surprise was sitting on the couch....she had read every book in the house.....that she could read.....she was alone once again for Rainbow and Storm were at work and Scootaloo was in school.....she sighed as she stood up.
Once again the house was quiet so she decided to explore a little bit.
Surprise walked up the stairs and noticed that Storm's door was open.
Curious she walked into Storm's room and closed the door.
Inside the room Surprise immediately noticed that there was a strange circle in front of Storm's bed.....she also noticed three pictures on the wall.
Surprise walked up to them and looked at them......she recognized Storm in one of the pictures where he was there along with six others.....but she noticed Storm's goggles in the picture and that one other had similar ones....although she recognized them as the Ritual team from the book.
She looked at the other picture and her eyes widened.....in this picture Storm looked much more normal and was standing next to Sift....and a foal?
Surprise now knew why Storm had told her and Scootaloo to take it slow.....she looked at the last picture and smiled.
This picture was a recent one.....Dash was in the middle with Scootaloo on her head and Surprise was standing next to her while Storm stood a foot away from them and had that same emotionless stare.
Surprise turned around and walked over to a nearby box....she opened it and saw the exact same goggles from the picture.....she also saw a pair of purple shades....she closed the box.
As soon as she closed the box she heard somepony clearing their throat behind her....she gulped and turned around to reveal Storm leaning at the door.....and he was grinning?
"So....you going to tell me why your in my room?" He asked.
Surprise laughed nervously as she rubbed the back of her head.
"Uh....the door was open?" She replied nervously.
Storm chuckled and entered the room then closed the door.....he then walked over to the pictures.
Surprise noticed that he was staring intently at the picture with the foal....she walked over to him.
"Who are they?" She asked even though she knew the answer.
Storm looked at her. "If I tell you that you have to tell me something." He replied.
Surprise closed her eyes to think.....after a few moments she opened her eyes.
"Deal." She finally said.
Storm looked back at the picture and smiled.
"They are my family.....the foal is my daughter Spark....and she is my wife Sift." He said blankly.
Surprise's eyes widened but she was now even more curious.
"How come you aren't with them?" She asked.
Storm smiled. "Because if I was with them I would be buried next to Sift and my daughter would be alone......at least this way she has family.....but me......I might as well be dead......im supposed to be dead anyway." He replied.
Surprise was confused and concerned. "Why is that?" She asked.
Storm looked at her. "You see I had an implant a while ago and It was killing me but I didn't care......but now I am glad that I had it removed." He replied.
Surprise was left with more questions then answers but chose not to prod.
Storm walked over to his bed and sat in the middle of the strange circle.
"You have one last question.....use it wisely." He warned.
Surprise walked over to him but did not step into the circle.
"What's up with those shades?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "They used to belong to my mom.....the only unicorn I like." He replied.
Surprise knew that Storm hated lying unless he had too......she also knew that he would think carefully on his questions to her....she braced herself.
Storm stood up and faced Surprise.
"I have one small question." He stated.
Storm looked at Surprise blankly. "What happened to your family?" He asked.
Surprise winced and took a deep breath. "Well.....the thing is.....a few years ago in Manehatten the royal guard recruitment center blew up." She said sadly.
Storm frowned as he knew what she was talking about.
Surprise let a tear out. "They were about to sign up when a unicorn and a Pegasus entered the building and killed everypony on the bottom floor.....they...they did something that made the building explode......I....my mom and dad didn't have enough time to get out of there.....I.....I heard about it when a family friend had told me about it." She said with her voice breaking up.
Storm mentally kicked himself as he gave Surprise a light hug.....he muttered something in an old language.
Surprise had stopped crying but was confused as to why Storm had hugged her.....and what he had said.
"What did you say?" She asked slowly.
Storm let go of Surprise and sat back down in the circle and started to chant.
Surprise tried to understand what Storm was saying but was unable to understand anything he was saying.
She just walked away and exited the room then closed the door....but before she walked away from the door her mind was racked with a single question.
"Why was Storm so deeply affected by this?.....normally he is always emotionless.....but this.....this disturbed him greatly....a former assassin should be able to handle death easily...so why does this affect him?" She asked herself.
Surprise's eyes widened as something hit her...."What if Storm had something to do with it.....then again when I looked at Storm's profile on the book it said that he disappeared for an entire year....so maybe he........I need something to do." She thought.
She walked down the stairs with the full intention of distracting herself.
However inside Storm's room he was trying to find a good reason not to blame himself.
Storm realized that the royal guard recruitment center exploding was his fault....but then again he did not even know Surprise at the time.
He sat in silence for a few moments before continuing his chanting.
______*seven hours later 11:51*______
Storm was leaning on the windowsill looking out the window taking in the night sky.
He then groaned in pain and held his stomach as a familiar burning sensation churned.....he quickly looked up at the sky and saw that the moon was now full.....even though it was a crescent moon just a second ago.....he held in the pain and jumped out the window and took flight.....he flew towards the Everfree forest as fast possible.
Storm was infuriated at this outrage.....he turned just yesterday....he snarled as a thought entered his head.
"Damn that Alicorn!......I will kill her!" He shouted out loud.
As he flew he felt the wolf taking over bit by bit.....first by changing his hooves into claws then his tail.....he managed to hold it in until he was over the Everfree but he fell to the ground shortly afterwards.
Storm's body then changed further......his wings retracted into his body causing blinding pain.....his fur thickened and his ears became more furry and pointed......his teeth grew much larger and his eyes became much more wolf like......the only thing that was Storm's was his mind.
He ran further into the forest and eventually came across a hut he never saw before....he cursed himself for forgetting that a zebra lived in this forest....Zecora was her name.....but he could not hold it in anymore.....he screamed as the wolf took his mind over.
In place of Storm was a moderately sized wolf......Storm looked up at the moon and growled deeply....he then let out a terrifying howl.
_____*Inside Zecora's hut*_____
Zecora shot up out of her bed as she heard screaming outside of her hut....she rushed to the window and looked outside and discovered a wolf looking down outside of her hut......she saw the wolf look up....what came next horrified her.....the wolf howled and it almost paralyzed her......she saw the wolf's head snap in her direction and lunge at the window.
She ran as fast as she could down the stairs as the wolf broke into the hut.....Zecora quickly ran out the door and closed it....she ran away with the wolf right on her tail.....she rushed through the forest and heard her door break....she sped up and almost ran into quicksand.....she jumped over the quicksand and kept running.
Zecora knew she could not run into town but she was not safe in the forest.....although Zecora knew that very few wolfs left the forest and knew that her only chance to live was if the wolf would not leave the forest.....she ran towards town.
She quickly ran through the trees and knew that the wolf was not far behind.....she had a chance to look behind her and she did......to discover that the wolf was keeping its distance.....like it wanted her to run....and tire herself out.
Zecora kept on running as she knew that she could keep running for a long time.
The wolf grinned and lunged at Zecora no longer keeping its distance....Zecora noticed this and quickly strafed to her left behind a tree causing the wolf to hit its head on the tree temporally stunning it buying the zebra much needed time.
______*four minutes later at Rainbow Dash's cloud house.....Scootaloo's room*_____
Surprise was resting her head on Scootaloo's side peacefully when she heard a voice below her.....curious she quietly got up out of the bed and walked over to the window and flew out.....she looked and saw a zebra running below the house and.....a wolf chasing her!
She was shocked by this but she saw that the wolf was consistently moving slightly to the left and the right.....she knew that running pattern.
Surprise was unable to move but she heard something she hoped she would never hear again......the howl.
An ear piercing howl rang through the air.....it was terrifying to Surprise.
Scootaloo fell out of her bed and hit the floor with a thud.....she rubbed her head and groaned in pain.
At that exact moment Rainbow entered the room and ran over to Scootaloo.
"Scoot are you ok?" She asked with worry.
Scootaloo nodded and looked out the window and saw Surprise looking down while flying.
Dash and Scootaloo flew out the window and Scootaloo tapped Surprise's shoulder.
"Hey.....what's going on?" Scoot asked.
Surprise looked at Scoot and pointed down.....Dash and Scoot looked down and gasped.
Dash was filled with fury now. "You two....stay up here." She ordered. "I'm going to kick that wolf's but!" She yelled as she flew down at high speed.
Scootaloo and Surprise tried to call Dash back but had no luck......they looked at each other and they gulped....they flew down after Dash.
"DASH!" Scootaloo yelled and flew as fast as she could.
Surprise sped up as Dash kept flying at Storm.
Dash was blinded by fury to notice Surprise and Scootaloo chasing her......she then rammed the wolf as hard as she could....the wolf went flying and Dash was hit by recoil.
Scootaloo landed next to Dash who was getting back up. "Dash....you cant win this fight!" She warned.
Dash looked at Scootaloo in shock. "I told you to stay up there!" She yelled.
Surprise landed next to Scootaloo and was breathing heavily.
Scootaloo then transformed into her tiger form....she stood between Dash and Storm.
"Dash.....I'm not playing games here!.....you cant win no matter what you do!" She yelled.
Dash stepped forward and got into her battle stance. "Get out of the way Scoot." She ordered.
Scootaloo growled but did not move. "No....I wont let you pass......if you fight....he will kill you." She said....she stood her ground.
Surprise kept her eyes on Storm....he was getting back up....but he was wobbling and shaking weakly.
Dash was shaking with anger. "So your going to let him loose....is that it!" She yelled in anger.
Scootaloo shook her head. "No.....but I wont let you go to your death....if you want to fight him you will have to get past me." She said with persistence as she got into her battle stance.
Dash felt betrayed.....she was trying to protect everypony but her own sister was standing in her way.
"I'm trying to protect everypony!....and you wont let me do it!" She yelled.
Scootaloo's face was neutral. "Fine.....then fight me.....show me that you can protect me and everypony else." She said calmly.
Dash then had enough of this she flew up and went around her only to find that Scoot flew right up to her and then changed back into a tiger and delivered a powerful kick that sent Dash right to the ground.
Surprise gulped as she watched Storm recover.....he stopped shaking but was still wobbling.
Scootaloo landed on the ground and her feet dragged through the dirt.
"Dash get a grip!" She pleaded.
Dash stood up and growled. "Just get out of my way." She demanded.
Scootaloo returned to her neutral state. "If you are going to keep this up you had best get serious.....or we are both dead." She suggested.
Dash then charged again but this time at Scootaloo....she came in low and gave her an uppercut to the chin....she then flew up above Scootaloo and then kicked her back down to the ground.
Scootaloo quickly stood back up and flew up to Dash and then switched to her tiger form and pulled Dash to the ground with her.
Surprise knew she had to stop the fight because Storm was almost fully recovered....she ran up to the fighting sisters which were now facing off.....she stood between them.
"STOP!......you have to stop." She said as tears began forming in her eyes.
Dash and Scootaloo were thrown off guard by this and calmed down somewhat.
"Surprise.....please don't get involved." Scootaloo pleaded.
Surprise did not move. "You might want to look over there." She said pointing over at Storm.
Dash and Scootaloo both looked over and gasped......Storm was now fully recovered and he was snarling fiercely....he howled.
All three of the Pegasi froze up but Dash was now more furious.
Storm charged wildly and Dash flew up to him just as wildly.
Scootaloo ran towards Storm with her claws out.
Surprise stood behind with the full knowledge that she couldn't help even if she wanted to.
Storm suddenly stopped and kicked Dash hard in the chest sending her flying.
Scootaloo charged up to Storm and swiped her claws at him.....which Storm just evaded and punched her hard in the head knocking her back a few feet.
Surprise ran up to Dash and helped her to her feet.
"Dash...we need to get up into the air.....he cant fly." She said.
Dash wiped her lip.....she growled. "Get Scoot.....get her in the air......I'll hold the wolf off.....hopefully it'll be to focused on us to go after the town." She said before charging at Storm.
Surprise nodded and ran towards Scootaloo.
Storm slowly walked over to Scootaloo who was grunting in pain.....he stood up on his back feet and put his foot down on her chest....he looked over and saw that Dash was coming at him again....he smirked.
Dash charged up and then turned around and delivered a powerful double kick to Storm's chest.
Storm blocked one hoof with his one claw and bit the other hoof.
Dash let out a pained scream as she fell to the ground.
Storm picked Dash up and chuckled. "Your no fun." He said blankly.
Dash grunted in pain.....she growled deeply as she started to radiate a black energy....Storm gasped and he dropped her.
She stood up slowly and a red glow started to envelope her.....Dash looked up and her eyes were not magenta.....instead her eyes were a mix of red and black.....and they were spinning.
"Let Scootaloo go....now." She ordered.
Storm smirked and started to walked towards Dash.
Dash prepared herself for a tough fight....she was still sore from that bite.
"Surprise....get Scootaloo out of here.....I'll be with you shortly." She said.
Surprise ran up to Scootaloo and picked her up then flew up.
Dash and Storm faced off....they did not move for several moments until Storm charged at blinding speed and raked Dash's foreleg but received and strong punch in return.
Storm grinned....he charged again but this time he circled Dash and was making a strange symbol in the ground.....he pounced Dash and kicked her hard sending her flying once again.
Dash recovered very quickly and flew up to Storm at a speed twice as fast as Storm's and delivered a series of strong punches and kicks then she flew headfirst into Storm's chest.
Storm felt alive.....he then made both of his eyes red giving him a powerful advantage...he landed on the ground but only laughed.
He stood up and then made one more symbol.....he then took his claw and cut himself releasing his blood into the symbols.
Dash's eyes widened as Storm cut himself.....she looked down and saw that his blood filled the symbols...she charged at Storm and kicked him.
Storm just blocked it and muttered something in an ancient language which made the blood glow brightly.....Storm then grinned evilly as he started to glow.....he laughed as he punched Dash and charged forward and performed a series of claw swipes and kicks....he ended it by kicking her into the air.
Dash coughed up some blood and opened her eyes....she recovered but noticed that Storm did not continue his assault.
She looked around and saw that Surprise and Scootaloo were flying towards her.
"Are you two ok?" Dash asked.
Scootaloo nodded and still maintained her neutral expression.
Surprise was unscathed for the most part....Dash did not blame her for this....she looked at Scootaloo.
"Scoot.....we are going to have to team up for this." She suggested.
Scootaloo nodded and looked down.
Dash and Surprise looked down and saw that Storm was not moving in fact......the blood was coming to him.....he was absorbing it.
Storm then let out a scream of pain as something started to come out of his sides.....they looked like a pair of leathery wings.
Scootaloo and Dash looked at each other and nodded....they flew down to the ground and landed.
Dash watched as Storm was screaming in pain.....the wings finally stopped coming out and they then spanned.
Storm looked at Dash and Scootaloo and grinned.....he the muttered something which made his runes on his body glow....he charged at Dash with a supernatural speed......he swiped.
Scootaloo quickly charged and punched Storm in the side.....while Dash flew up and flew downwards in succession.
Storm suddenly stopped and did a backflip then he rushed behind Scootaloo and grabbed her and constricted her arms.
"So Dash......how is that bite mark?" He asked darkly.
Dash's eyes widened...she looked and saw that it was now fully healed but the fur in that area was thicker.
She then moved at blinding speed at kicked Storm off of Scootaloo sending Storm flying.
Dash's vision blurred but she warded it off through sheer willpower.
"You aren't getting us that easily." She said firmly.
Storm then chuckled and took flight....he raced up to the house and flew in through the window.
Dash was enraged that the wolf was not taking this seriously....she then saw Storm fly back out but this time had a dagger in his claw.
Storm flew down quickly but heard something near him.
"SURPRISE!" Surprise yelled as she tackled Storm which caused him to fall to the ground.
Storm was furious and he stood up and went to stab Surprise but upon seeing her terrified face he stopped.....he backed up and dropped the dagger.
He immediately kneeled and put his claws to the ground as his runes disappeared and the red glow he had faded.
The black glow around Dash faded but the red glow stayed...she was confused.
Surprise stood up and saw Storm.
Storm looked up and looked like he was crying. "I am so so sorry!.....I didn't mean to....I didn't know!.....I didn't know!......if I knew they were in there I wouldn't of blown up that building!" He said constantly repeating himself.
Surprise was now enraged....she found the killer of her parents and now she had a way to kill him.....she walked over to the dagger and picked it up.
Scootaloo rushed up to Surprise and stood between her and Storm.
Surprise looked up and saw Scootaloo blocking her path. "Scoot?" She asked.
Scootaloo kept a neutral face.....she looked at Storm who was still repeating himself.
"So.....Surprise now that you have that dagger.....what will you do with it?" She said.
Surprise heard a voice whispering in her ear....she looked behind her but she nothing....she looked at Storm's dagger.....she heard the whispering again.
"Kill him......take your revenge......destroy him.......use me to kill him......kill....." It said.
Surprise was shaking.....she knew that Scootaloo was against killing any living being....even if that being killed many others......Surprise dropped the dagger and dropped down breathing heavily.
"What the buck did he do to that dagger?" She asked.
Scootaloo walked up to Surprise and picked her up.....she then picked up the dagger and picked it up.
Dash watched as Storm constantly repeated himself.....she walked up to him and lifted his head so they were eye to eye.
Storm looked into Dash's eyes and was trembling. "Go ahead.....do it." He said bracing himself for the inevitable.
Dash stared deep into Storm's eyes and gasped...she backed up hastily.
"Storm?" She asked.
Storm chuckled...he stood up. "Took you long enough.....so Dash......you never said......how is your leg?" He asked.
Dash looked at the bite mark....she noticed that her fur was thickening on the entire leg....she looked at Storm.
"It's been better....." She said.
Storm smiled.....he took a deep breath and sighed in relief.....he looked back at Dash. "Well....Its still growing.....but we have time." He said.....he then took his arm and bit down.....he then held his now bleeding arm out.
"If you want to avoid the change.....then drink." He said.
Dash shook her head rapidly as her vision blurred. "How do I know that it wont just speed it up?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "Because if I did that it would be pointless....you have about one minute." He replied.
Dash then took his arm and slowly drank his blood.....she almost threw up......she swallowed it then backed up quickly....she was on the ground breathing heavily.
Storm walked up to Dash and picked her up.
"Well.....that's it.......you had better go up....I'll be up later." He said.
Dash didn't need any more advice....she flew up but Storm grabbed her back leg.
"One quick question before you go." He said.
Dash yanked her leg out of his grasp and looked at him. "What?" She asked.
Storm gave her his usual glare. "How are you able to use that power too?" He countered.
Dash's eyes widened but she just flew back up to the house.
Storm felt insulted....but he rushed back to the Everfree for the night.
______*the next day inside of the Everfree forest 11:10 AM*_____
Storm groaned as he awoke....he slowly opened his eyes to get a better look of his surroundings.
He was inside the forest to be sure.....the only bad part of this morning he hated was that he remembered everything from last night....he sighed.
Storm knew that he revealed what he did to Surprise......he stood up and flew into the air.
He looked around and soon saw Ponyville in the distance.....he flew towards his home at full speed.
Storm gritted his teeth and he growled at his own incompetence.....no......it wasn't his fault.....the moon was turned into a full moon last night.....it wasn't supposed to be a full moon last night......there was only one explanation....that sun loving Princess made the moon full....he was positive that she did it to find him.....it was common knowledge amongst the royal guard that he was a werewolf.....a rare trait in certain bloodlines.....he had to stay hidden now......it was either that or bring unneeded death.
He chuckled at the thought of unneeded death....he caused it everywhere he went.
Storm flew out of the Everfree and then flew towards the cloud house.
As he flew towards the cloud home he looked at the town and saw that the locals were starting to come out....he shook his head and continued towards the house.
Storm finally reached the house and landed on the porch...he walked up to the door and knocked.
He heard footsteps coming from behind the door and it opened.....to reveal Surprise.
Storm mentally cursed but maintained his emotionless face.
Surprise let him in but remained silent....she had an angry glare though.....Storm understood that.
Storm walked inside and noticed that Scootaloo was on the couch and had an accusing glare.....Dash was sitting on the chair and looked like she was attacked by a wild bear.....although Storm knew the truth....for a few moments none of the Pegasi said anything so Storm sighed and he walked up the stairs.
He walked up to his room door and opened it....he walked inside and closed the door then he walked over to his box and opened it.....he pulled out the pair of shades and his goggles.....he also pulled out Sift's goggles.
Storm sat down inside the circle and set the three objects in front of him.
He looked at each and remembered many past missions and days he hadn't taken seriously....he looked up at the sun and started to tremble with anger.
Storm stood up and walked over to his weapons cabinet.....he opened it and saw that Demise wasn't there....he grabbed his wing blades and equipped them...he walked out of the room and closed the door.
_____*the living room*____
Dash heard footsteps walking down the stairs and she sighed.
Scootaloo saw Storm enter the room and lean against the wall.
"Storm you ok?" Scootaloo asked.
Storm nodded but looked around. "Where's Demise?" He asked.
Dash stood up and then walked over to the bookshelf.....she moved a book and pulled out Storm's dagger and threw it to him.
Storm grabbed Demise and sheathed it....he walked outside of the house.
Surprise entered the room and the entire room was silent again....she just wanted to go upstairs and cry.....but she knew it was time to move on....she walked over to the couch and sat down.
Storm closed the door and then flew off towards the library......he had a message to send.
As he flew above the town Storm heard some murmurs below....being a werewolf had its perks....and better hearing was one of them.
Storm saw the library door open and Twilight Sparkle was standing in the doorway and so was a zebra....he saw Twilight bidding the zebra farewell and Storm flew at high speeds and rammed Twilight and he then held Demise against her throat.
"Storm!....are you nuts?!" She accused.
Spike had the unfortunate position of being in the room at the time and Storm looked at him.
"Close the door.....if you try and yell for help she dies......got it?" Storm said plainly.
Twilight did the logical thing and told him to do it.....she then looked at Storm.
Spike ran over to the door and closed it.
"What do you want?" She asked.
Storm released Twilight from his grip. "I have a message for your Princess....and I'm not taking no for an answer." He replied.
Twilight held her throat and cleared it. "What do you want to say?" She asked.
Storm walked over to the desk and grabbed a piece of paper and the quill...he handed them over to Spike.
"It's more of a question.....ask her why the moon was full last night.....even though the night before was a full moon." He replied.
Twilight looked at Spike and nodded.
Spike hastily wrote Storm's message and sent it.
"Now what?" Twilight asked.
Storm chuckled. "Now we wait.....lets see how fast that sun butt replies." He joked.
Twilight wanted to scold him for that remark but she remembered two things.....one he was from the Artic....enemy's of Equestria.....and two that she was in no position to argue.
Spike belched out green flame and a scroll appeared....Spike opened it. "It says....that was the only full moon in this month." He recited.
Storm chuckled. "Well now....now I know that it was her." He said.
Twilight was now curious as to where he was going with this. "What do you mean?" She asked.
Storm looked at Twilight like she was an idiot. "You really are an idiot......the fact that she is denying it makes it much more obvious that she is suspicious.....Spike give me the quill...I want to see how she reply's to this." He said.
Spike walked over to Storm and handed him the quill.
Twilight was insulted to say the least.....but she held in her outburst.
Storm walked over to the desk and grabbed a piece of paper and began to write furiously......about five seconds later he had the scroll ready to be delivered.
Spike took the scroll and looked at the contents. "Twilight listen to this....this is literally what the letter says......hello sun butt.......thank you for telling me that you are on to me......have fun trying to capture me.....by the way I have grenades so good luck." He read.
Twilight gasped but heard Storm sighing. "What?....I do have grenades." He replied.
Spike shrugged and sent the letter. "What are grenades?" He asked.
Storm grinned widely and began hovering. "Well I cant show you in here." He replied flying out the door.
Spike followed the Pegasus outside.
Twilight gulped and followed the two.
_____*Ponyville lake one minute later*______
Storm walked up to the edge of the water and stopped....he began hovering again and lifted his hoof.
Spike noticed that Storm had a strange device on his foreleg.....as Storm raised it he began wondering.
"What is that?" He asked.
Storm smirked. "You got potato launchers here?" He asked.
Spike thought on it for a moment before Twilight cleared her throat.
"Yes we do but what do they have to do with anything?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "Well....this is a grenade launcher.....and lets just say it has a bigger kick then a potato launcher." He replied.
He then fired the grenade launcher and the grenade flew....it then landed in the water.
Spike was disappointed. "Well that was disappointing." He said.
Just as Spike spoke the grenade went off causing all of the lakes water to explode upward.
Storm laughed and then opened his mouth.
Twilight was horrified....she gulped as the water splashed down hard on her.
Spike was now soaked and so was Twilight and Storm....but Storm seemed to enjoy it far more.
Storm laughed. "See!.....that is why I have grenades!" He yelled.
Spike gasped as he saw that the lake was now empty.
Twilight fainted but Spike was in awe.
Spike belched and a scroll appeared.
Storm landed next to Spike as he read it.
"Very well criminal....if this is how you wish to handle this situation you will hunted down by my specialized commandos." He read.
Storm chuckled. "I look forward to it.....see you later Spike." He said before flying off.
Dash and Storm talk/Flashback part four dismantling the Cybermen.
________*two days later Rainbow Dash's cloud home 3:59 PM*________
Dash sat in the chair in the living room, she had heard about Storm's little fiasco from Twilight and had giving him a hard time about it, but then again he just grinned and told her that he was having fun.
Scootaloo and Surprise just stayed out of it knowing fully well that Dash and Storm got very cranky once you got on their last nerves, even though almost anything could get to Storm.
Storm was in his room carefully making more grenades for the launcher, he would not explain how he knew how to make them....or what they were.
Dash heard knocking at the door and she stood up and walked up to the door, she opened it and saw a unicorn royal guard and a Pegasus royal guard. "Oh hello officers, what brings you here?" She asked.
The unicorn guard grunted and pushed passed Dash and walked inside.
Dash was offended. "Hey you cant just barge in here!" She snapped.
The guard paid Dash no mind. "Rainbow Dash, where is the fourth?" He asked.
Dash knew who he was talking about. "Who?" She countered.
The unicorn grabbed Dash In his magic and pinned her against the wall. "Don't play dumb!, we have been watching this house and we know for a fact that there is four pegasi in this house, now where is the assassin?" He asked.
A throat was heard clearing, and they all looked to see Storm leaning on the wall at the top of the stairs.
"Wow, if I didn't know better I would say that the oppression was still around, it might as well be, now I am going to give you guards two options, option one I brutalize you so much that when I send your mutilated corpses back to Canterlot they will throw up, option two you leave and I give you a ten second head start, go ahead and chose I'm in no hurry." Storm said unsheathing Demise.
The Pegasus outside rushed in and went to hit Storm with an uppercut.
Storm smirked and moved slightly to the left and stabbed the guard in the brain.
"You are what's protecting Equestria?, I cant believe we didn't conquer you years ago." He said pulling Demise out of the dead guards head.
The unicorn was outraged and fired a volley of magical blasts at Storm.
Storm yawned and he sat down on the steps activating his runes, the blasts just bounced off him.
"That is the problem with most unicorns, they rely WAY to much on magic, I mean come on they use it to eat, how lazy are you people?" He taunted.
Storm stood back up and yawned, he threw Demise and hit the guard right between the eyes.
"Cool, the guards are dead and I can go back to work." He said walking back up the stairs.
Dash, Scootaloo and Surprise were shocked but Dash ran up the stairs after Storm.
Storm opened his bedroom door and went to walk inside but felt a hoof on his shoulder, he looked behind him and sighed.
"What do you want Dash?" He asked.
Dash gave him an evil glare. "What is your problem?" She countered.
Storm chuckled and walked into his room. "If I tell you, you have to tell me something." He replied teasingly.
Dash gave It thought and decided that she would not have another chance.
"Fine ask me, what do you want to know?" She asked.
Storm smirked. "Very well, how can you use shadow energy?" He asked.
Dash facehoofed. "Ugh, you had to ask that, first off tell me how you know." She said.
Storm knew that he most likely wouldn't be able to get another chance unless he tortured her.
"Easy, my mom can use it, although she is three times better at it." He stated.
Dash felt insulted but decided to stay on track. "Well, I obtained the ability through means that I had no desire of participating." She said with avoidance.
Storm was not satisfied but his question was answered.
"Ok then, the answer to what's wrong with me is very simple, I lost my dad back in Cloudsdale then a few years later I lose my wife because of your damn country then I had to give up my daughter for her own protection then I almost died because of an implant and if THAT wasn't bad enough I almost killed my family!" He replied angrily.
Dash backed up but understood his pain. "Sorry I asked, but there has to be some good from all of this." She asked sadly.
Storm nodded and turned around and opened his box. "Yep, there was some good from this, I met my birth parents and had fun for a year with my mom, I met Venom, I fought in the war with my team, tasted griffon meat and some pony meat, I found my weapons and I was lucky enough to find Scoot in Staklis." He replied.
Dash raised an eyebrow. "Staklis?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "The real name of the city spoken in Jursan, my peoples language, the real name of the city is Blade Gorge." He explained.
Dash nodded in somewhat understanding. "Right, I'll just go." She said turning around.
Storm grabbed Vinyl's old shades and stopped Dash.
Dash looked and saw that he was holding a familiar pair of goggles. "Storm, are those what I think they are?" She asked.
Storm nodded. "Yep, my moms old shades, I haven't seen her ever since I returned to Staklis, it took her an entire year to learn the language, technically two months but that isn't important." He said.
Dash rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.
Storm looked at the shades and remembered the escape from the royal apothecary facility their adventures with the Doctor, blowing up the royal guard recruitment center, the club, meeting his other mom, but the thing he remembered most was the lessons he learned, he learned how to use his eye powers more efficiently without him nearly killing himself, he learned how to use shadow energy, and he found a way to negate the insanity effects of his runes, Storm chuckled and laughed at his attempts to teach Vinyl his eye powers, she couldn't use the scanning eyes until the last day, he was not sure anymore, he put on the shades and chuckled at his own stupidity and put the shades back in the box and picked up a picture that was next to it and smiled.
It was him standing next to Vinyl back when he was in his drained appearance, he was grinning and had his back to Vinyl and she was copying him, they were both looking at the camera with the same grin, Storm was missing many feathers and a lot of fur and hair, his eyes were also bleeding.
Vinyl on the other hand looked much better, she was missing just hair and fur, but Storm could tell that she was beat up.
Storm smiled and put the picture back.
He walked up to his bed and laid down with the memory still fresh in his mind as he drifted back to sleep.
_______*Flashback Manehatten apartment two minutes after reaching the apartment*______
Vinyl leaned back in her chair as she cleaned her gun.
Storm was chanting in front of his bed while holding Demise.
The Doctor was silent in the corner.
Vinyl sighed and walked up to Storm and slapped the back of his head.
Storm let out a yelp of pain and rubbed the back of his head. "What was that for?" He asked accusingly.
Vinyl gave him a scolding glare and then rolled her eyes. "How about we focus on what's important here a moment?" She suggested while holstering her gun.
Storm stood up and sheathed Demise. "Fine, so Doctor what do we do about these, Cybermen?" He asked.
The Doctor stood up and walked over to the door. "First we need to get back to the TARDIS so I can scan this head." He paused pointing at the Cyberman head he had.
Vinyl opened the door and walked out. "Then what are we waiting for?" She said.
The Doctor rushed out and Storm slowly left the room.
Storm locked the door and walked outside.
"You two really need to relax." He said.
Vinyl rolled her eyes. "True but YOU are the reason we are doing this." She replied teasingly.
Storm sighed and flew up to Vinyl.
"Ha ha ha go ahead and laugh lets see what happens when you get injured." He countered.
Vinyl chuckled and continued walking.
The Doctor had a serious look on his face, he turned to face Vinyl and Storm. "We have to hurry, no distractions." He said as he started running.
Vinyl and Storm sighed, they then chased after the Doctor.
______*three minutes later, in front of the TARDIS,*_______
The Doctor was inside the TARDIS scanning the Cyberman head.
Storm was leaning against a nearby building in boredom, he sighed and looked at Vinyl.
"Why is it that we cant get a break?" He asked.
Vinyl shrugged and looked at the sky. "How should I know?, for all I know we are being watched by some unseen force." She replied.
Storm gave her a serious glare. "Don't joke about that stuff, that shit is real." He said jokingly.
Vinyl chuckled and closed her eyes. "Fine, so I have a question." She said in Jursan.
Storm smiled and closed his eyes as he looked at the sky. "What is it?" He replied in the same language.
"Would you be interested in a trade?" She said returning to her normal language.
Storm raised an eyebrow and smirked. "I have a feeling I know what you mean." He said knowingly.
Vinyl shrugged. "Then tell me." She said slowly.
Storm laughed and opened his eyes. "I have an idea that you want to trade ability for ability, or in our case eye powers for energy powers." He replied.
Vinyl grinned and opened her eyes. "Yep, pretty much, but then again my part of the trade only works if you have any shadow energy in you." She said.
Storm rolled his eyes. "Sure, why not, I've got nothing to lose, but you have to hold your side of the bargain." He replied.
Vinyl nodded. "I guess we can start while the Doctor works." She said.
Storm shrugged. "Alright, where do we start?" He asked.
Vinyl walked into the middle of the alley and gestured for Storm to come closer.
Storm sighed and did so but stood a foot away.
"Alright, now the first thing you need to do is to get mad at something." She said.
Storm raised an eyebrow. "Huh?" He asked.
Vinyl sighed. "The easiest way to generate and control shadow energy is to be angry, so it will be easiest way to figure out if you have shadow energy inside of you, although you should, I can use it and so can Daring, so go ahead, get mad." She said simply.
Storm sighed and searched his memory's, he remembered living a life as a thief, he remembered losing his life in a matter of minutes, he remembered meeting Dash, he remembered the time he spent with her, he remembered leaving after Dash left, he remembered the day the orphanage caught him in his sleep, he remembered meeting Sift who he befriended, he remembered their escape from the orphanage, he remembered having to stay behind so Sift could escape, he remembered catching up with Sift in Blade Gorge after a few months, he sighed.
"I got nothing." He said.
Vinyl shook her head In disappointment. "Then I guess we're going to have to do this the hard way." She said.
Storm raised an eyebrow but before he could say anything he was knocked to the ground, he hit the ground hard and he looked up at Vinyl who returned her hoof to the ground, he growled in anger.
"What the hell!" He shouted as he rose to his feet, he felt a familiar sensation and smirked. "Well now, I guess that means that's taken care of." He said as he charged Vinyl and threw her to the ground.
"Now were even." He said helping Vinyl back up.
Vinyl chuckled. "Good, you have it on you, now we just have to work on controlling it." She replied.
Storm smirked. "Probably wont take long, I'm a fast learner." He said.
Vinyl rolled her eyes. "And I'm a slow teacher, lets get started." She said.
The Doctor came out of the TARDIS with a pleased look on his face. "I've got a fix on the Cybermen's location, its in the fourth warehouse district, somewhere." He said.
Vinyl sighed. "Bummer." She said.
Storm groaned. "Damn it, Doc you got bad timing." He said with annoyance.
The Doctor grinned and ran off in the direction of the Cybermen's base.
Vinyl and Storm shared a look of disbelief before following the Doctor.
_____*ten minutes later at the warehouse district*_____
Storm flew above the warehouses looking for anything suspicious while Vinyl and the Doctor searched the warehouses from the inside, he saw something odd, it was a large antenna on the roof of one of the warehouses, he flew close to inspect, there was some strange wires wrapped around it, there was a strange lever there as well, Storm decided it would be worth at least one minute of his scanning eyes, he closed his eyes and when he opened them they were now forest green, he looked at the lever for a few moments before closing his eyes, when he opened them they were purple.
Storm gritted his teeth as his eyes started to bleed, he blocked the pain out and flew up to the wires, he pulled Demise out and cut the wires sending the electrical current through him, Storm screamed in pain as the volts ran through him, The Doctor and Vinyl rushed over to Storm and looked up at him.
Vinyl gasped in shock and teleported up to Storm, she grabbed Storm and pulled him away causing the electrical currents to course through her.
The Doctor acted quickly and searched for a way up, he found a ladder and raced for it.
Vinyl felt the electric currents fade as the pain subsided, she slowly sat up and groaned in pain, she sighed and looked at the antenna.
"Looks like you took that out." She said.
Storm laughed painfully. "Yea, yea good job guys, now if you don't mind, I'm going to lay here until my head stops spinning." He said laying down on the cold roof, he then coughed up some blood.
Vinyl looked at him and noticed his eyes were bleeding. "You have to stop with those eye powers you know that." She paused.
"If you don't your going to make yourself blind, like me, only it wont be for two months a year." She finished.
Storm chuckled. "Yea right, your forgetting that your going to learn how to use them as well." He replied mockingly.
Vinyl rolled her eyes as the Doctor reached the roof. "You two alright?" The Doctor asked.
"Yea I'm fine, just give me a moment." Storm said weakly as he tried to sit up.
Vinyl pushed him back down and held him down with her magic. "Oh no you don't, your staying here until your not a burden." She ordered.
Storm sighed in relief. "Sure mom, as you say." He said with a weak mock salute.
Vinyl rolled her eyes. "Of course your making jokes, just don't move, got it?" She ordered.
Storm chuckled in pain. "I get it, no motion for me until the pain goes bye bye." He said weakly.
Vinyl chuckled. "Shut up, ok Doctor your on your own." She said.
The Doctor nodded and ran off. "As soon as your ready meet me inside the Cyberman base." He replied.
Vinyl nodded and Storm chuckled. "Sure, be there as soon as possible." Storm said.
The Doctor climbed down the ladder and ran towards the entrance of the base, which was just a lone door with a Cyberman head symbol on it.
A deep rumbling was heard under the ground and Vinyl quickly rose to her feet, Storm groaned in pain. "Son of a bitch!" Storm shouted.
Vinyl rolled her eyes. "Be quiet." She ordered.
Storm slowly rose to his feet. "Ow, ow ow ow." He said weakly.
Vinyl looked around and saw that there was four Cybermen in the shape of three earth ponies and a Pegasus, she sighed in annoyance, she pulled her gun out and aimed at the Cybermen.
"Alright, what do you want?" Vinyl asked.
The Cybermen looked at her. "You will be deleted." The Pegasus replied.
Storm sighed and looked at the Cybermen. "Ok look, can we not do this, hey here's an idea, how about we wait until I can fight then we fight?" He suggested as he weakly went for Demise.
The Cybermen charged and opened fire, Vinyl fired her gun at the Cybermen hitting one of the earth pony Cybermen in the head.
Vinyl continued firing at the Cybermen as Storm shakily pulled Demise out. "I hate this job." Storm said.
Storm watched as one of the Cybermen charged him and he slashed upwards with his dagger, it was a clumsy slash so all it did was make the Cyberman stumble backwards.
Vinyl shot the last bullet in her clip at a Cyberman which caused it to scream in pain before it died, she looked over at Storm and gasped as he was weakly fighting off two of the Cybermen, she focused on the Cyberman attacking her and reloaded her gun as the Cyberman stood back up.
Storm was grunting in pain as he held it back, he knew that he could not hold out, he waited as the Pegasus Cyberman went to shoot him, he weakly threw Demise into the Cyberman's head, he looked over at Vinyl only to be sent flying by a Cyberman's punch.
Vinyl lunged at her opponent after she finished reloading her gun, she triggered her hidden blade and stabbed the Cyberman in the throat, and for good measure she fired her guns entire clip into the Cyberman's head, after her revolver clicked she started to reload it, she looked over at Storm who was weakly getting back up as the Cyberman he was fighting prepared to shoot him, Vinyl charged at the Cyberman and stabbed it in the spine, she gasped as the Cyberman jumped making the roof fall in.
Storm had leapt at the Cyberman as it jumped and instantly regretted it as he fell in after Vinyl and the Cyberman, since he was in great pain he couldn't use his wings, he screamed as he fell.
Vinyl was locked in combat with the Cyberman, she punched it in the face and fired a magic bolt at it, she charged herself with shadow energy and kicked the Cyberman, she screamed in pain as she crashed to the ground.
Storm screamed in pain, since he was already wounded and weakened the fall caused him blinding pain.
Vinyl looked over at the Cyberman who was now decapitated, she sighed in relief and slowly sat up, she looked at Storm who was beat up even more. "Storm, you alright?" She asked.
Storm swallowed a breath and chuckled. "Nothing gets me down, I am really going to need that whiskey when we get back." He said as he weakly sat up.
Vinyl laughed softly as she stood up. "I hope your in the mood to share, I could use one to." She said.
Storm coughed up some blood, he wiped his lips and chuckled. "Sure, but if we get drunk and do something stupid don't blame me." He replied as he stood up slowly.
Vinyl smiled as she looked around, the Cyberman was dead, there was multiple crates and barrels around them, Vinyl walked up to Storm.
"How's the leg?" She asked.
Storm grunted in pain. "Not good, I can barely stand as it is, so either we wait or you carry me." He said plainly.
Vinyl sighed and set Storm on her back. "You better pull your weight." She ordered.
Storm exclaimed in pain. "Sure, so long as anything gets close I'm fine, its not like I didn't get electrocuted, I'm definitely not coughing up blood, and I didn't fall from the roof of the warehouse only to fall onto the ground." He said sarcastically.
Vinyl rolled her eyes and began walking out of the warehouse.
"Hey Scratch, you ever wonder why the Equestrian population has little to none intelligence on the outside world?" Storm asked.
Vinyl walked outside the warehouse and stopped. "Yea that has been bothering me for a few years now." She replied.
Storm nodded. "All I'm saying is that Equestria knows barely anything, they think they're the only species out there right now, its like either they don't want to know, or its being kept from them, the only ones who know anything are the royal guard, this land is ignorant and weak, no offence, but seriously why do you think we separated from this land anyway?, one thing, do they even know about Griffons, Changelings or even the fucking Kangaroos?" He asked.
Vinyl started walking towards the apartment. "Nope, there isn't any mention of them in any library, it seems that someone wants this land ignorant, why that is, I have no idea." She replied.
Storm chuckled. "Its a simple war strategy, remove all intelligence so the enemy is blind, but this must have taken a long time to do, but why all of this against, oh I get it." He said.
Vinyl continued towards the apartment. "Get what?" She asked.
Storm grunted in pain. "The royal apothecary's, their research, its clear that they want it kept quiet, so they wiped every record of any species outside of ours." He replied.
Vinyl started laughing, and soon Storm joined in, although his laughs caused him great pain.
_____*twenty minutes later at the apartment*_____
Vinyl set Storm down on his bed and walked over to her bed. "You have got to stop with your powers you know that?" She asked.
Storm chuckled. "Screw it, just need to take it easy, though I wish it was as easy that it sounds." He replied.
Vinyl rolled her eyes and began taking her equipment off, Storm took his daggers sheath off and threw it at the wall along with Demise.
"I'm done for the day, give me a minute and I'll get the alcohol." Storm said as he sat up.
Vinyl laughed. "How about I get it?" She suggested.
Storm shook his head. "Nope, I'm getting it and you cant do anything about it." He replied as he stood up and walked towards the bookshelf.
Vinyl sighed and walked over to the table where all of her and Storm's equipment was at, she set her gun carefully on the table and set her hidden blade down.
Storm grabbed a bottle of whiskey off the shelf and opened it, he walked up to the table and sat down, he then grabbed two wine glasses from a nearby cabinet, he poured some whiskey into the glasses and passed one to Vinyl.
Vinyl sat down at the table and drank the whiskey, she set the glass down and looked at Storm. "How about we continue the lesson tomorrow, you know, when we don't feel like crap?" She suggested.
Storm swallowed all the whiskey in his glass and looked at Vinyl. "You know, don't get used to it but, I agree, but I can actually start teaching you the scanning eye." He replied.
Vinyl chuckled as Storm poured more whiskey into the glasses. "What do you mean?" She asked.
Storm smirked. "For one its rather easy, so here's what you do." He paused.
Vinyl raised an eyebrow as Storm gestured her to lean in.
Storm leaned in and whispered in Vinyl's ear.
Vinyl listened intently as Storm explained the scanning eye.
Storm had no idea why he was giving away one of his secrets to Vinyl, but he felt like it didn't matter, but as he explained the scanning eye to Vinyl a thought came to his head. "This will be interesting." He said to himself.
A loud thudding noise rang through the air, Vinyl and Storm knew what it was and smirked. "See you Doctor." Vinyl said.
"Bye Doc." Storm added once he stopped talking to Vinyl.
Storm walked back over to his bed and began chanting, but this time without Demise.
"Don't bother trying to do it tonight, you'll need all of your energy for it." Storm said.
Vinyl nodded and grabbed her gun, she aimed at an empty bottle of wine on the bookcase, she smirked. "This will be one fun year." She said as she fired the gun.
Storm sat in his windowsill looking out at the town, he sighed happily at the peace. "For once, no chaos, no death, just peace and quiet, I missed this." He said to himself.
He looked up at the sky and chuckled. "Planned weather, where's the fun in that?, where's the thrill of a random tornado going to come from?" He asked himself.
Storm closed his eyes and a second later he opened them, he had an idea. "I wonder how well this town would be if I destroyed the weather plans?" He said cheerfully.
He then slapped himself on the face. "Yea right, and take the risk of losing my job?, ha no way." He said to himself.
Storm looked around the room and sighed. "This country is disappointing, there is no excitement in it, everything is planned and controlled, so there cant be anything truly fun anymore, but its not my land so I have no say." He concluded.
He looked up at the moon and frowned. "Not even the moon is free from Equestria,s control." He said with disgust.
Storm sat in front of his bed and began chanting. "Give me something exciting world, I will owe you one." He pleaded silently.
______*Unknown 4:35 AM*______
Six brazier's sat in a large stone circle, one flame was red, another was orange, one was black, one was white, one was gold, and the last was violet.
The orange pyre grew bright. "How long has it been?" Came a voice from inside it. The red one brightened next. "It has been eleven century's by now." Came another voice.
The white flame grew in size. "If you two don't shut up I'll kill YOU first." Shouted a third voice.
The Gold flame grew brighter. "It is a shame our sixth member cannot join us, six is better then five anyway." Came another voice.
The black flame became much larger then the others. "GREED!, how dare you, our sixth companion died a long time ago, BY OUR MIGHT!, so don't you DARE say its a shame." Came a loud voice, the flame calmed down. "Now, Rage, Deception, it is your time, go into the world, but remember, keep your presence unknown until the right moment, Greed, Insanity, leave this place, and bide your time." He ordered.
"And what of YOU Vengeance?, where will you go?" The voice from the red brazier asked.
A mild chuckling came from the black flame. "To my host, where else?" The black flame's voice said.
And with that the five flames departed the circle.
_____*Rainbow Dash's cloud house 4:50 AM*_____
Storm's eyes flew open as he sensed something coming straight for him, his eyes turned green and he looked around, he ran up to his window and gasped, a black fireball flew right at him, but before he could dodge the fireball accelerated and flew right into him.
He bit his tongue to keep himself from screaming in pain and soon passed out from the pain. "What in the world?" He asked himself while he drifted off into unconsciousness.
Storm's body was enveloped in a black flame for a few moments, the flame receded into his body and all was quiet.
_____*Rainbow Dash's cloud house 10:31 AM*_____
Storm groaned and he rubbed his forehead before slowly opening his eyes. he sat up and looked at his surroundings, he was still on the floor and nothing seemed broken, he looked down and gasped, his entire body looked like it was burnt, but he didn't feel it at all, he sighed and walked out of his room.
He made a beeline to the bathroom and was relieved to see that it was empty, Storm went inside and looked at the mirror, he was happy that he looked relatively the same, save for the burn marks, the only difference was that his mane was a shade darker, and his eyes were now a shade brighter.
Storm chuckled and walked out of the bathroom, he walked downstairs and smelled, garlic and pepper. he grinned. "Who's awake so far?" He shouted the question downstairs.
"Its me." Came a familiar voice. Storm rolled his eyes and walked down the stairs and saw Dash in the kitchen. "You can cook?" Storm asked.
Dash laughed. "Ha ha ha, very funny, so are you eating this or not?" She asked.
Storm sighed and his eyes turned green. "No thanks." He replied.
Dash chuckled. "I am never going to get used to that." She said.
Storm smirked. "Good, then I wont have to work on that." He countered teasingly, he then opened the front door to see that it was sunny, he groaned in annoyance. "Does it EVER rain in this damn town!" He shouted.
Dash laughed. "Yes but for some reason they always wait for about a whole week of sunny day's 'then' heavily rain." She replied.
Storm sighed in relief. "Someone needs to tell those idiots that constant sunny days is not a good thing." He said quietly as he walked outside.
Outside the house Storm saw Surprise reading a book, he could tell that she was reading the roster on the Artic special ops, he walked over and took the book from her. "Don't read this." He ordered as he set the book down on the table on the opposite side of her.
Storm opened the door to the porch and flew outside, "AND I WILL KNOW IF YOU READ IT!" He shouted causing Surprise to recoil back into the chair she was in.
_____*above Ponyville four minutes later*_____
Storm flew upside down at high speed above the town, he laughed as he heard surprised gasps from below. "I love this scanning eye." He said to himself.
Through his scanning eyes Storm could see the reactions of every citizen below him, but he paid to much attention to the world below him that he rammed into someone.
Storm soon found himself spinning from that hit, he growled and looked up to see a brown Pegasus stallion. "Watch it you dumb kid!" He said as he flew off.
Hearing those words sparked something inside of Storm, small black flames burst from his body and Storm charged off after the stallion, he soon found him landing in front of the town hall, he charged down and rammed him.
Storm preformed a series of hits and drew Demise for the first time in years, he held it at the stallions throat. "Watch it bub, next time that happens you wont live." He said darkly, he picked the stallion up and threw him into the town hall. "Now that that's settled." He said cheerfully.
He started to walk off to the library and started singing his song. "Here I am, home again, so lets find the welcome wagon, don't struggle because you are my new toy, lets see how well you fight when I'm done with you." He sang softly.
_____*deep inside Storm's mind*_____
"Hmm, I picked my new host well it would seem, but I must wait until the right moment, when he reaches the element of magic I will come out." Vengeance said to himself.
Vengeance looked around. "Its rather dull in here isn't it?" He asked himself.
_____*Golden Oaks library four minutes later*_____
Twilight was reading the book. Elements of harmony, a reference guide. For research purposes.
Currently she was on the element of magic, she would have noticed it back when Nightmare moon appeared to make an eternal night, but they had a limited time to do so, she turned the pages and sighed in disappointment, the last page merely said. Read part two the elements of, for more information.
Twilight raised an eyebrow at this. "Why is this part smudged?" She asked herself.
For some reason the word was smudged out, she was confused about this.
A knock came at the door. "Come in." She said.
The door opened and Storm walked in. "Hey Twilight." Storm said.
Twilight managed a smile. "Hey Storm, what are you looking for?" She asked.
Storm looked at the mystery section. "How about you tell me what that part two stuff is." He replied.
Twilight set the book she had on the table. "What part two?" She asked.
Storm sighed. "Don't play dumb, you know what I'll just look myself." He replied walking to the Elements of harmony book.
Twilight let him pass, she turned around as Storm opened the book and flipped to the last page. "What are the Elements of chaos?" He asked.
Storm looked at Twilight who had a stunned look on her face. "How can you read that?" She asked as she frantically looked at the smudge.
"It's the language of the Artic on there, so, what are the Elements of chaos?" He asked again.
Twilight sighed. "I don't know, but whatever they are I'm guessing its not Discord, I'm sure that he is still stone after what me and the girls did to him." She replied.
Storm gave Twilight an evil glare but sighed. "Whatever you do, don't mention this to the sunbutt." He ordered as he walked over to the door to leave the library.
Twilight smiled. "Don't worry, if these Elements of chaos do pose a threat I can get the girls and use the elements of harmony on them." She said reassuringly.
Storm chuckled. "Your the Element of magic right?" He asked.
Twilight sighed, "Storm, you know I am." She replied.
Storm's face went serious. "Of course that damn sunbutt would keep those damnable Elements together." He said darkly.
Twilight backed up and charged her horn. "I think you should leave." She said.
Storm chuckled darkly. "The Element of magic, of course, she would make that one a mindless puppet." He said before leaving the library.
"See you soon." Storm said as he left the library.
Storm shook his head while he walked away from the library. "What just happened?" He asked himself.
Meanwhile deep within Storm's mind a dark laughing came from Vengeance.
"You and me are going to be a fun combo kid." Vengeance said as he continued laughing.
