Banish from her home due to a false crime until she was found by Delta Squad. Now she must adapt to her new life as a Republic Commando with her new friends and family.
Once banished for a crime she didn't commit until she was rescued by Delta Squad. Now Twilight Sparkle must adapt to her new life serving the Grand Republic Army as a commando with Delta Squad. What does the future holds for Twilight and her new family. Will she ever return to Equestria again to face her past.
This is my first fanfic. So please go easy on the criticism please and enjoy.
This take place after a month of the battle of Geonosis but will not relate to the novels.
In the dark woods of the Everfree, a certain lavender unicorn with a dark purple mane with a pink on it, as it was no other then Twilight Sparkle her singlet was stained with mud and dirt along with her jeans. Who was recently banished for a crime she didn't commit.
"Git it ya no good snake!"
"Monster!"
"Go away you big meanie pants! "
"Stay away from me you ruffian and don't think of coming back!"
"Go to tartarus traitor!"
"You are no longer my sister. Now get out of my sight."
"As co-ruler of Equestria, I Princess Celestia banish you from Equestria. If you step foot on this land you shall be executed on sight. Now leave."
Those words echod and haunted in Twilight's mind. All of her friends turn their backs on her. Her mentor stripped her from her achievements and banished her and lastly her brother. Her BBBFF who was always defend her first has now hated her and even disowned her which wrecked her heart with grief, sadness and despair.
"After all I did for them...they turn their backs on me and throw me out like yesterdays garbage." She said before choking back a sob. She continues her aimless trek through the forest until several distant howls rang through the dark forest. "Oh no...Timberwolves." She sees several glowing green eyes revealing them to be a pack Timberwolves which are hungry for her flesh. On instinct, Twilight turns and runs away as fast as her hooves can carry while the wolves were hot on her tail. Minutes pass with occasional magic blast to the wolves only to knock them down as her sprint reaches to a deadend. "I'm trapped!" She thought to herself as the growls of the Timberwolves grow louder by the second and corner Twilight to the wall ready to kill.
"Is this the end for me? With everything stripped away from me!" Twilight asked herself but hears the growls of the Timberwolves. She tries using her magic but fails due to exhaustion and looks around for anything to aid her but to no avail. Unable to avoid the inevitable, she closes her eyes to await her end. A few seconds past yet her end never came. Curious on what happen she opens her eyes and sees a Timberwolve once alive but now laying on the ground dead with a hole straight through its head smoking. The other pack memebers look around growling trying to find their attacker until several streaks of blue light hits directly through the wolves head killing them in an instant. Twilight looks around seeing corspes of Timberwolves laying on the ground motionless. Twilight hears one of the bushes shakes unnaturally and sees a tall bipedal figure in a clad of bulky white armor with dark red paint splattered on some parts of it's armor like splattered blood and it's helmet has a T-shaped visor glowing dark blue which glows brightly through the darkness of the Everfree. "What in Equestria is that?!" Twilight cried out until the creature took notice of her huddled in the corner and approaches her causing Twilight to cower in fear due to the creature menacing appearance. "Commandos I found something!" The creature shouted. On cue three more of the same creatures appears from the vegetation in the same clad of armor.
"What is it Sev?" Answered one of the creatures with the same clad of armor but painted in greyish black on his armor with yellow paint and it's backpack was bulky with a pair of glowing tubes.
"Found a civie." Said Sev which Twilight presumed to be due to the yellow one calling him that. "She looks like your mother Sev." He joked. "Don't make me Scorch." Sev threaten.
"Both of you cut the chatter." Said one with white bulky armor with greens stripes across his armor and a backpack with a single glowing tube. "Aw cheer up Fixer. I love making jokes." Scorch said to Fixer. "Forget it. What are your orders 38?" Asked Fixer. Twilight sees another commando who is the leader of the others and his armor was less menacing which calmed Twilight down a bit to his presence.
"Are you okay?" He asked only to be return a nod fromTwilight and takes his helmet of revealing his facial features "What's your name? Mine is RC-1138 but you can call me Boss."
"Twilight Sparkle." She answered back to Boss. "What happened to you Twilight?"Boss asked. Twilight explained on what happened to her before she met the commandos. "So they just turn their backs on me! Not only that my parents and my brother disowned me and replace me with a arrogent show-off pony named Trixie." "What they did was uncalled for ma'am."
"They deserve to be skinned like a Trandoshan slaver scum!"
"That was downright wrong."
"Agreed Deltas. They don't know the true meaning of aliit."
"Aliit? What does that mean?" Asked Twilight.
"It means family in mando'a Answered Fixer. "You said you'd be executed on sight if you returned to your homeland right ma'am?" He asked and Twilight nods to Fixer's question and Boss placed his hand on Twilight shoulder."Then how about you join us and be a commando?"
"I suggest you join us. Its a once of a lifetime offer." Said Scorch.
"Since I have nowhere to go...so yes I accept your offer." Twilight finally anwsered and only to be picked up by Boss which caused her to blush. "Then let's introduce you to our superiors." Said Boss.
A few hours past as Delta Squad treks through the Everfree forest without ecountering any of the forest wildlife and reach to their destination which is on a hill with Canterlot and PonyVille but something caught Twilight attention and sees a G9 Rigger Frieghter with curiousity and amazement like a excited foal also with a thirst of knowlege much to Scorch amusement. "What is that?" She asked the Commandos. "Its a G9 Rigger Frieghter ma'am." Fixer anwsered only to get a confuse look from Twilight.
"In other words, its a spaceship." Said Scorch.
"Let's go home Deltas." Boss said and enters the ship with the others except for Scorch who waits outside for Twilight. The unicorn looks back and see Canterlot and PonyVille with boiling anger. "Buck Equestria." She said with venom and malice and boards the ship with Scorch. Once they boarded the ship, it slowly lifts into the air and takes off to the sky and towards to space. A few minutes past as Twilight looks out of the window and sees her homeplanet which amazed her and sees the stars the stars shining brightly through the void of space. "Its beautiful." "Hyperdrive is ready sir." Said Fixer. "Good. Hit it Fixer." Boss anwsered and Fixer hits the hyperdrive thus sending the frieghter through the void of space. But little did Twilight know a new bond of friendship and family has been created
Few hours past in hyperspace as most of the trip was quiet except for a few occasional jokes made by Scorch to ease up the tense atmosphere.
"I believe I haven't introduced you my squad to you yet Twilight." Boss said.
"Now you just mentioned it, I never got any of your names." Twilight said Curiously.
The rest of Delta Squad slowly takes their helmets off revealing their identical facial features to Twilight shocking her. "You all looks the same! Are you all quadruple?" She asked but was answered by Scorch's laughter.
"Hate to break it to you but we're not borned. We were genetically bred. Meaning we're clones. But my name is RC-1262 or Scorch. Team demolition expert." Said Scorch.
"He got his nickname due to a incident of him blowing up some ordinance leaving our training sergeant without his eyebrows for a month ma'am. Name is RC-1140." Said Fixer.
"Just call him Fixer. He is the team slicer and all technology expert. " Said Boss.
"And this here is RC-1207 or Sev who is my pod brother." Scorch said cheerfully.
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, unicorn and the element of magic."
"Yeah right magic does not exist." Scorch said sarcastically.
"Magic does exists! Here I show you." Twilight said and magically levitates Scorch's helmet and DC-17 blaster. "See magic."
"A simple force levitation kid." Scorch replied back before taking back his helmet and puts it on.
"Its magic!"
"Force!"
"Magic!"

"That's it!" Shouted Twilight and uses her magic and blast Scorch thus turning him into a potted plant.
"SCORCH!!!"
"What did you do to him?!?" Asked Boss.
"What?" She looks back and see a potted plant which was once Scorch. "Oh buck! I didn't mean it!"
"What did you do to Scorch!?!" Sev shouted before he pointed his DC-17 blaster at Twilight who raises both hands up remembering what it did to the Timberwolves in the past.
Knowing it was getting out of hand Boss decided to break it up before Sev could do anything dangerous. "Stand down commando. Can you please turn Scorch back Twilight." He asked calmly, gesturing to the potted plant.
Twilight slowly calms down and approaches the plant but she notice at the corner of her eyes she saw Sev stroking his blaster trigger intentionally. Her horn starts to glow catching Fixer attention and curiousity and sends a magic blast at the plant thus returning Scorch to his normal form.
Scorch slowly gets back up stretching his limbs and twist his neck a bit then gets a satisfying crack and letting out relax moan. "I take back what I said and rule one in first contact is to never piss off a new type of sentiant species like Twilight. You may not know what they will do to you." He said before stretching his limbs again.
Once the arguement was done the frieghter's consoles goes beeping getting attention and attends to it. "We're coming out off hyperspace Deltas. Brace yourselves." Fixer announced. The freighter exited out hyperspace and back to the void of space but infront it was a Venator-class Star Destroyer.
"Unidentified ship this is the RAS Night of Solace. You are tresspassing military airspace right now please identify yourself."
"This is RC-1140 of Delta Squad coming in and requesting permission to land."
"Permission granted. Land at main hangar 4."
The freighter slowly descends down to the main hangar also passing by several V-19 Torrents Starfighters much to Twilight amazement until she notice the ship closes in and its main hangar doors opens allowing the freighter to enter. Once it entered, the freighter lands in its designated hangar and the ship's doors open.
Twilight was the first to exit out of the ship and was shocked seeing many other small aircrafts going under maintenance by the hangar repair crews. But what caight her breath was a mighty war machine with six legs as it has small little glass box with four cannons at the front but on top of it was a large cannon which look menacing to Twilight. "What is that?" She wondered. Until a clone trooper approach her behind.
"Hey who are you? Civilians aren't allowed here." Said the clone startling Twilight.
"She's with me trooper." Boss said.
"A commando. I apologise for any offense sir."
"Its alright trooper."
"Can I ask you guys on what kind of machine is this?" Twilight asked curiously and gesturing to the walker.
"Its a AT-TE Walker ma'am or All Terrain Tactical Enforcer walker. They were use as tanks and a troop transport for the war against the Separatist. " The trooper explained.
"War!" Twilight exclaimed in shock.
"You never heard of war before? " Boss asked Twilight curiously.
"I have, but never been to one before. The last war was a thousand years ago after Discord reign." Twilight said.
"A thousand years of peace. Never knew it was possible."
"Can you tell me about the Separatist please?" She asked the trooper by showing puppy dog eyes and heard the trooper muttering something about weaponizing cutness.
"The Confederate of Independent Systems or CIS are a political party but they will do to get what they want by any means necessary. Even by assassination and kidnapping. " The trooper slowly explained.
"That sounds horrible!" Twilight said in shock not liking this at all.
"They also allow other kinds of illegal activities like slavery and drug dealing."
"I didn't know they will do this kind of things to get what they want." Twilight said.
"And that is why we fight against the Separatist. " Boss said.
"I'll do what I can to help you fight against the Separatist! " Twilight shouted a bit enenthusiastically.
"Good but we need to go to the ship's bridge. " Boss said.
"Let's go then."
Half an hour past as Delta Squad brings Twilight to the ship's also explained a bit about the cruiser they were in until they reach to the brigde. The entrance door slid opens as Twilight sees the room filled with holographic screens and a table displaying the ship she was in and stood amaze by everything until a tall figure caught her attention and sees a human in some sort of clothing with a bald haircut, dark-tone skin and brown eyes. Next to him what Twilight thought was a green goblin but was not as it had elf-like ears, brown pupils and was 66cm tall.
"Who are they?" Twilight asked by whispering to Scorch.
"That's General Mace Windu and General Yoda." Scorch whispered back.
"I believe your mission went successful trooper." Asked Windu.
"Yes it has sir." Boss replied.
"You must be the youngling who was rescued by Delta Squad I presumed. " Windu asked.
" Yes general. The name's Twilight Sparkle. Protoge of Princess Celestia and the wielder of the element of magic." Twilight said before shaking Master Windu hand.
"Tell me Twilight Sparkle, why were you banished from your home?" He asked.
"Well I was performing a magic show at the Griffin Empire. But something went wrong with my magic as it created a explosion which nearly killed several ponies and griffons. I went back to figure out what happened but Celestia guards came in and arrested me and brought me to trail. My friends turn their backs on me! My brother also hated me and also disowned me!" She shouted before she break into tears crying as Delta Squad tries to comfort her.
"I sense great pain in you young one. Great pain." Master Yoda said.
"Permission to speak freely sir?" Boss asked.
"Permission granted."
" I would like to ask permission to enlist Twilight Sparkle into Delta Squad and train her to be a commando sir." Boss proposed.
"Is that all soldier?" Master Windu asked.
"Certainly sir." Boss replied.
Both jedi started discussing about Boss proposal to enlist Twilight into Delta Squad. This went on for seven minutes until both jedi stopped their discussion and confront Delta Squad.
"It has been decided, Twilight Sparkle has been permitted to be train as a commando and join Delta Squad." Master Windu announced bringing happiness to Twilight and the commandos.
"Thank you so much!" Twilight said, her voice filled with joy. And gave Windu a bone crushing hug thus shocking everybody in the room except Master Yoda who smiled at the scene.
"A strong grip you have young one." Yoda said.
Twilight realize what she was doing and let's go off Windu and blushes in embarrassment.
"Admiral, set course for Kamino." Windu ordered still recovering from Twilight's hug.
"Yes general. Set course for Kam-"
"Sir! Radar is detecting three ships coming out from hyperspace! "
"Republic or Separatist? "
"Separatist."
At the void of space a pair of Munificent-class star frigate exit from hyperspace including a Lucrehulk-class battleship and opened fire at the Republic warship. Several squads of Vulture Droids were deployed and headed straight for the crusier.
"Operator send out a distress signal to any nearby Republic ships. I want shields charge and forward cannons at the ready!" the clone admiral ordered.
"Sir they're sending in boarding parties."
"Prepare the men to defend the ship."
"Delta Squad Defend this ship." Windu ordered.
"Yes sir!"
"What can I do to help."
The commandos look at her for a moment until Boss passed her a DC-15s side-arm. "Here take this."
"What's this?" She asked?
"Its a DC-15s side-arm. You have eight shots when its fully charged. Once its depleted, it will take time to charge. Just aim and pull this trigger and that's all." Boss explained.
"Got it." She replied back.
"Good. Lock and load Deltas!"
Twilight and the commandos exits out of the bridge and march towards their next battle.
"Okay Deltas listen up. We have several boarding ship at the hangar. But the droids are slowly making their way to the reactor and the brigde. Twilight I need you to go to the ship's armory and get yourself some equipment to fight. Remember this Twilight, this is war. You have to fight to survive. We'll rendezvous here at the hangar. The rest of us will deal with the droids at the reactor. Now move out." Boss said until they were confronted by a large squad of B1 Battle droids.
"Clankers!" Scorch shouted. Once told they aim and fired their DC-17 blasters at the droids as Twilight seeks for cover from the crossfire.
"Blast them!" Most of the droids points their E-5 blaster as some were destroyed by the commandos. The fight continued on for a few minutes until a B1 was destroyed by a B2 Super Battle Droid.
"Super Battle droid!"
The Super Battle droid sees a squad on clone troopers coming in. It aims it's cannon and shoots out a grenade which explode on contact thus killing most of the squad while those were lucky were killed by the B1s blaster fire. One of trooper corspe landed infront of Twilight causing her to shriek.
"We're going to need reinforcements! " Shouted one of the clone troopers until a Battle droid shot him.
"Twilight we need your help!"
Those very words snapped Twilight from her frightened state and pops out from cover to confront the droids. The Super Battle droid sees her and points it's arm cannon at her. Before it could fire a grenade again, Twilight magically rips out the droid arm cannon also levitates the fallen blasters and points it at the invading droids and pulls the blasters triggers thus unleashing a rain of blaster fire which destroyed all of the droids in the hallway.
"Whoa."
Twilight suddenly snaps out from her trans and sees her handiwork which has left nothing but destruction to the droids.
"I-I-I killed somep-"
"Get a hold of yourself Twilight. What you did was necessary. Even though your peaceful they will still kill you. Civilian or not they will still kill you." Boss said.
Twilight looks back at a injured clone trooper being tended by medics and thinks about Spike injured or killed by a Battle droid or worse. That thought had made Twilight understand the true meaning of war itself.
"I understand. " She said and picks up a DC-15S blaster.
"Good. Trooper!" Boss shouted and pointed at a clone trooper.
"What are your orders sir?"
"I want you to bring her to the armory right now.
"Yes sir. Follow me to the armory ma'am." He said and leads wilight to the armory.
"Okay Deltas, now let's go for the reactor before the clankers gets there first."
Minutes passed as the trooper leads Twilight to the ship's armory until they confronted a squad of Battle droids.
"The armory is just right across that hallway ma'am." The clone said and fires his DC-15 blaster rifle at the droids but one the droids shot him through the head ending the clone trooper.
"No!"
Gathering her magic to her horn and unleash a purple beam wiping the pathway clear leaving no traces of the droids and continues on to the armory. Once she reach to the door leading to the armory, she opens it but revealed several squads of clone troopers. This weren't ordinary clone troopers she usually see. Besides white polish armor instead it was dark olive green covering the entire armor. The boots were were bigger and bulkier along with the armor shoulder pads, chestplate, handguard and gauntlets. The helmet was a bit bulky with a cap over the T-shape visor and a small antenna. And in the middle of the armory was a Clone Captain which has the same armor as the rest but with his helmet off revealing him to have dark-tone skin, bald haircut, shaved beard and brown eyes.
"Men, here is where we show those dumb, squid-headed sons-a-bitches that they could not have picked a worse enemy than the 35th Marine Corps! We are going to blow the hell out of those dumb clankers until we don't have anything to shoot them with, and then we will rip their heads from their circuits and toss 'em into the scrapheap LAUGHING! Am I right, marines?"
"Sir, yes Sir!"
"Mmm-hmm. Damn right I am. Now move it out! Double-time!" He shouted making all of the troopers run out and into battle with excitement.
Twilight then approach the captain who took notice of her. "Excuse me sir."
"Who gave you permission to be here missy?" He asked.
"I was sent here by Delta Squad to get some equipment to defend myself against the invaders." She answered.
" Oh where are my manners. Name's CC-22031 or Johnson. Most of my comrades call me Sarge." He introduced.
"Twilight Sparkle." She said and shook his hand.
"So your the talk around the ship eh. Well you said you need equipment right?" Johnson asked and gets a nod from Twilight.
"Eeyup."
"Gunny get this miss here some damn good armor!" He shouted. The trooper resting on the crates wakes up and looks at Johnson and Twilight.
"Let me guess new armor and weapon for her right?" He asked.
"Damn straight."
Gunny starts to observe Twilight body shape carefully and goes back to a bench then grabs the same armor that his wearing then takes out the armor platings then connects them to straps and made Twilight wear the modified armor as it covers her shoulders, chest, waist, hands and legs.
"Done." He announced.
"Not bad Gunny. Not bad at all." Johnson commented.
"Thanks Sarge. Anyway for weapons." Gunny said and snatches Twilight's DC-15S blaster and toss it away much to Twilight's displeasure.
"Hey! That was my weapon!" She shouted.
"Let me show you a real weapon." Gunny said and grabs what looks like a DC-15 blaster rifle but different. "This here is a modified DC-15 blaster rifle or which I like to call it is the ACP-16 rifle. Once a blaster rifle and now is a projectile weapon as it shoots out Accelerated Charged Partical rounds also has a Vibro-blade bayonet attachment even a drum magazine with 150 rounds per mag. Has good fire rate and range and the rounds are slightly charged up to take a Super Battle droid down for good. Made a few hundred during my free time but most of it is use by us troopers."
Twilight picks the rifle up and finds it a bit heavy but recovered from it. "Thanks."
"Don't mention it. Also here's a ACP-16 SMG." Gunny said and pass her the other weapon which looks like a DC-15S blaster but modified.
Twilight takes the SMG and places it on her hip but a sudden blaster fire zoomed pass her face and sees a squadron of B1s along a pair of B2 Super Battle droids.
"Get to cover!" Gunny shouted.
Twilight hides behind cover and blind fires her rifle as the particle rounds shredded through a battle droid like butter until another battle droid was destroyed. While Twilight was busy shooting back, Johnson takes out a cigar then lights it and takes a small puff before putting it away for later.
"Well its time for some action." He said before putting on his helmet. After he put on his helmet, Johnson jumps out from cover then whips out both DC-17 hand blasters and opens fire at the droids taking out a few.
While Twilight gave Johnson covering fire. She notice Gunny comes in with a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon and unleashes hell upon the droids. Twilight watches the Z-6 with amazement until she sees a backpack full of thermal detonaters.
"What are these?" She asked before taking out another droid.
"Those are thermal detonaters. Press that big red button and throw it as far as you can." Gunny quickly explained as a couple of blaster fire hits him but the thick armor protects him from further injuries then returns fire at the droids.
Twilight looks at the thermal detonater and press its detonation button and toss it at the droids which exploded destroying a couple of battle droids and a Super Battle droid. She gets an idea as she arms one of the thermal detonaters in the bag and uses her magic to toss the entire backpack as it turns into a gaint orange explosion wiping out most of the droid. She charges up her horn with magic and teleports Johnson and Gunny with her and reappears behind the remaining droids which caught them by suprise. Both clone troopers were feeling nauseous for the moment but quickly recovered and open fire at the droids. Johnson put away his hand blaster and punches a battle droid straight through its chest and pulls his arm out while the rest were finish off by Gunny and Twilight.
"That's all of them." Twilight said but a red laser from E-5 hits Twilight shoulder causing her to scream in pain.
Johnson turns around and see a new wave of battle droids coming in. Before he whips out his hand blasters, the droids were rip to shreds by ACP rounds as a squad of marine troopers comes in to the fight. But all was left was a single Super Battle droid.
"Ramirez will you kindly deal with this droid please." Johnson ask.
"You got it sarge." The trooper said and cracks both if his knuckles.
The droid points its arm cannon and shoots a blaster fire but bounces off the marine's armor. The trooper runs up to the droid and punches it in the face thus damaging it's sensor and kicks it to the ground.
Another trooper comes in with a metallic bat wanting to hit the droid with it. Both troopers circled the downed Super Battle droid. Ramirez kicks and stomps the droid first and leaving a dent to it as the other slams his bat on the droid several times and starts punching it. But another marine comes in and stomps the droid with booth of his boots and continue smashing the droid until a pair of marines grabs hold of him and drags the trooper away who gave the droid another kick. Yet the trooper breaks his fellow marines hold and runs towards the down droid and kerb stomp it through its torso then starts punching again until the others grabs hold of him and drags him away.
After the droid destruction, Twilight uses her magic to heal her injury only to numbs the pain. Seeing the entire hallway filled with droids turned to scrap metal. She slowly gets up and runs towards the ship's main hangar followed by the marine troopers but their path was blocked by a trio of Super Battle droids but Twilight levitates the droids and slams them to the ground as the troopers finish them off by using their vibro-blade bayonets.
As the group fought through countless waves of droids they continued pushing the droids back until they reach to the hangar as it was filled with droids and clones fighting.
"Marines, switch to bayonets abd stab the shit out any droids you see!" Johson shouted. The troopers deployed their bayonets and charge towards the droids with a mighty battle cry.
A group of B1s notice Twilight and opens fire at her but she creates a bubble shield with her magic then dives to nearby stack of crates. The droids continued their assault on Twilight until she magically throw a crate at them thus destroying them. Once the droids were destroyed, a pair of droidekas enters the battle and fires their twin blaster killing any clone troopers they see until a thermal detonater rolls under them and explodes destroying both droids.
"Take offensive formation Deltas! Sev give us some covering fire. Scorch bombart them from there. Fixer mend that turret." Boss ordered.
"Aah...target practice. " Sev said and attaches his DC-17 sniper attachment.
"Scorch prime and charge." He said as he finds spot and attached a DC-17 anti-armor and shoots a grenade which took out a group of Super Battle droids.
"Roger that sir." Fixer replied and mends a nearby EWHB-12 heavy repeating blaster and fires at a squad of battle droids.
While blaster fire soar through the air, Boss quickly seeks cover behind a stack of crates and finds Twilight all bruised up next to him and was slowly drifting to sleep. Before she could fall asleep, Boss placed his hand on Twilight shoulders catching her attention.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. Just tired." She said.
"Stay with me Twilight. The battle is almost over."
"I'll try."
Once they pop from their cover and see most of the droids destroyed along with clone troopers who were killed. But another boarding ship hits the hangar and opens up and a A-DSD advanced dwarf spider droid drops from the ship and activates.
"Spider droid!"
The spider droid scans its surrounding and launches launches several missiles into the air and hits the ground causing a massive explosion which killed most of the clone troopers. The surviving clones opens fire as blaster fire and particle rounds barely scratches it's heavy armor. While the clone troopers continues firing, Sev looks through his sniper scope and pulls the trigger sending a quarrel round straight at the spider droid's sensor eye causing it to stagger back a bit. The spider droid recovers and spotted Sev and aims it's heavy blaster cannon at Sev and fires a charged energy bolt at the commando.
In a split second Sev dodges to his right as the energy bolt missed him by an inch and hits a AT-TE walker destroying it completely. While the droid scanned the AT-TE wreckage and found nothing a crate hits it causing it to turn around and see Twilight standing tall and her horn started shining brightly as the light temporarily blinded the surrounding clone troopers. The droid cannon starts to charge to its maximum and points it at Twilight.
"Twilight get out of there!" Boss shouted.
The spider droid's cannon fires a overcharged energy bolt at Twilight. While the bolt came at her, she opens her eyes which shined pure white and her horn releases a rainbow coloured beam right at the droid also overpowering the charged bolt and directly hits the spider droid and creates a bright flash which blinded all of the clone troopers in the hangar.
The flash started to settle down as the troopers look around and see where was the spider droid once stood was gone as all was left was a pile of ash where the droid was standing and Twilight slowly regains her senses and sees a pile of ash infront of her.
"I did it."
" This is Admiral Hood of the RAS Forward unto Dawn. We got your distress signal and reinforcements are here."
Meanwhile in the void of space, three Acclamator-class assault ship comes out from hyperspace and fires they're cannons right upon the Separatist ships as one of the separatist frigates was destroyed as the other two slowly turn around.
Back in the ship's hangar, one of the clone troopers shows a holographic video feed on what's happening outside the ship and sees the Separatist ships retreating.
"That's right you mothers! Run!" Johnson shouted
The last of the Separatist ships successfully retreated through hyperjump. Moment's pass as the entire hangar burst into cheers and congratulating Twilight at the same time. As Twilight looks around seeing the clones cheering in victory she suddenly lost balance and lands onto the floor with a thud catching the commandos attention. Her eyelids started to feel heavy and slowly closes as the last thing she sees was Delta Squad and the marines running to her aid.
"Boss." She said before her eyes completely shuts as her vision went black.
All Boss could hear was the heart monitor beeping slowly and monitoring Twilight's vitals who was still asleep. Two days has pass since they last battle against the Separatist until Twilight fell unconscious.
(Flashback)
"Twilight! " Boss shouted as Twilight landed onto the ground slowly drifting into unconsciousness.
"Boss..." Was all Twilight could say before her eyelids fully closed and her body went limp.
As Twilight loss conscious, several marines ran to the medical wing of the ship to retrieve a medical droid while Delta Squad tried their best to wake Twilight up.
Johnson and the others return to the hangar with a 2-1B Surgical Droid in tow and activates it. Once the droid was activated, it took notice of Twilight and approaches her.The droid applied bacta on to her wounds and started scanning her vitals.
"Her wounds are healed but I suggest you seek medical attention from the experts". The droid said
"Got it. Deltas let's move." Boss said.
Later...
While Delta Squad along with the marine troopers. Hours past as they wait patiently until a medic exits the room bringing the commandos attention.
"How is she doctor?" Boss ask worriedly.
"She's asleep. But her strange energy levels are weak. None of our experts could identify it."
"That's her magic." Fixer said.
"Magic?" The medic asked confused.
"She said that magic is some sort of energy living in her and is similar to the force also I saw her turn him into a potted plant. " Fixer said. Gesturing to Scorch who was turn into a potted plant before.
"Even she teleported me and Gunny." Johnson said and takes a small puff from his cigar.
"Thank you for this new information sir. You can visit her right now." The medic said before leaving.
End of flashback
While Boss stare at Twilight waiting for her to wake up which felt like hours to him, the medical ward doors slid open catching Boss attention. He turns around only to see Johnson.
"Still asleep?" Johnson said.
"Yup." Boss replied back.
"Two days has past and yet she still asleep." Johnson said. Also gets a nod in agreement from Boss.
A awkward silence hangs in the air between both clones besides the regular beepings from the machines.
"So I heard your from the 35th Marine corps? " Boss said.
"That's right. I'm the captain of Gypsy Company." Johnson answered with pride.
"From what I heard from others is that your a bunch of loose cannons. " Boss said.
"That's how they see us. But we don't care what they say. The Corps has one goal only and that is to defeat the Separatist and their clankers." Johnson said casually and takes out a cigar.
Before he could lit it up, both captain and commando heard someone groaning and sees Twilight slowly opening here eyes up.
"Twilight."
"What happened?" Twilight ask.
"You used most of your magic against that spider droid. You were asleep for two days straight." Boss explained.
"Should have expected that for using too much magic." Twilight said.
"Agreed. Anyway, we're on our way to Kamino right now." Boss said. "You'll be taking your commando training there."
The ward doors slid opens again as the rest of Delta Squad enters the room.
Before Twilight could react, Scorch made a run towards her and gave her a bone crushing hug.
"Your okay!" Scorch said in a joyful tone while Twilight was struggling for air.
"Scorch...can't...breath." Twilight said while struggling against Scorch grip.
"Whoops my bad." He said and let's go of Twilight who was gasping for air.
After what happen in the ward, the medics told Twilight to be more cautious in the future and was able to leave the medical ward. Four more days pass as Twilight was busy socializing with Johnson and the marines along with Delta Squad also learned a bit more about the Republic.
"And that's how the war started." Fixer finished.
"Amazing. " Twilight said with her eyes sparkling in great amazement.
Before they could continue on with their conversation, Mace Windu enters the room causing all of the troopers to stand in attention.
"At ease troopers." Windu said. "We're arriving to Kamino right now so get ready."
"You heard him marines. Pack your things right now!" Johnson ordered as the marines sprang into action.
(3 hours later)
The crusier slowly descends down to one of Tipoca city hangars. The ship bay doors opens as hundreds of clones in neat rows slowly marched out of the crusier while Twilight and Delta Squad follows Windu and Yoda at the other side of the hangar.
Twilight looks around the hangar seeing droids, kaminoans and clones everywhere but notice a female Togruta and next to her was Kamino prime minister.
"Greetings master jedi." The kaminoan greeted
"Greetings to you Lama Su." Windu greeted back.
The kaminoan took notice of Twilight and gave a questioning gaze at Twilight.
"I believe I never seen your kind before." Lama Su Said curiously.
"Her name is Twilight Sparkle and I gave her special permission to be train as a republic commando. She is assigned to Delta Squad once she completes her training. " Windu said.
"A commando? But are you sure that is she ready for the trials she must go through also the amount of stress she must face?" Lama Su questioned.
"I understand your concerns prime minister but I'm confident she's ready." Windu said.
"I shall respect your decision and shall make preparations for her commando training. I have training sergeant suitable for this job." Lama Su said.
Twilight and the commandos notice both jedi master and the prime minister approaches them.
"Twilight Sparkle, as prime minister of Kamino, I grant you permission to undergo training of a republic commando. Learn well Twilight Sparkle. You'll meet your training sergeant in the military complex." Lama Su said.
"C'mon Twilight." Boss said.
"Sure thing." She replied back and follows Boss and the other commandos to the military complex.
later...
"We're here." Fixer announced.
"I'm very sure its going to be Walon." Scorch whispered to Sev who also agrees with him.
The door infront of them slides open revealing a black armored mandalorian standing infront of them.
"I am Walon Vau. Your new master." The mandalorian said.
"It's been awhile Vau." Boss said
"I could still say the same for you Boss." Walon said l. "So who is this unicorn?"
"Umm...how did you know?" Fixer asked.
"I have my ways commando." Vau said casually
"Anyway, my name is Twilight Sparkle." Twilight greeted. But she notice Vau was about to punch her, on instinct she reacted by teleporting behind Vau and draws out her DC-15s side arm then points it at Vau.
"Not bad." Vau commented but in a blink he kicks Twilight's DC-15s Side arm out of her hand and attempts to punch her in the face. Twilight quickly teleports herself away from him.
"What the buck was that for!?" Twilight shouted in anger.
"That was a small test and you pass it." Walon said.
" A test?" Twilight said in surprise.
"Yes. But you lack timing and precision. I could have taken you down easily." Walon explained.
"Really?" Twilight asked only to receive a nod from Walon.
"Anyway, Twilight I would like you to meet Walon Vau. My master and drill sergeant." Boss said.
"His harsh training has turn us into what we are now today. A effective Commando unit." Sev said with gratitude.
"Don't forget I accidentally burn his eye brows for a month too." Scorch mentioned receiving stifled laugh from Sev and Boss.
"So you're my new teacher right?" Twilight asked.
"Yes." The mandalorian replied. "But where is your family?"
"I was banished from my home for a crime I didn't even commit. My brother disowned me, my friends turn their backs on me even my teacher Princess Celestia stripped all my achievements and banish me." Twilight said with anger in her voice. "Thankfully Boss and the others found me."
"Parents?" Walon asked.
"They weren't around in my trial. They went to Manehatten to visit a couple of old friends." Twilight said.
"Twilight, by any chance you have a younger sibling?" Boss asked.
"Yes I do. His name is Spike and his a dragon." Twilight said. "Even though I was wrongly accused, he still stand by my side saying I didn't commit a crime."
"Now that is what I call a true brother." Sev said.
"Agreed but your friends and your brother are nothing but idiots." Sev said.
While Sev, Scorch and Twilight were discussing, Boss took notice Walon curling his fist in anger. Before Boss could ask his mentor, the room door slid open revealing Johnson.
"Am I interrupting something important here?" Johnson asked.
"Nope. But what are you doing here?" Boss asked the marine.
"I was ordered by General Shaak Ti to escort Twilight to her quarters." Johnson answered.
"Go ahead." Boss said.
Johnson makes his way to Twilight and taps her on the shoulder.
"Oh hey Johnson." Twilight said. "What brings you here?"
"I was ordered by General Shaak Ti to escort you to your quarters." Johnson said.
"Really."
"Yes. But I want to show you and your friends something." Johnson said.
"Sure just lead the way." Twilight said and exits the room with Johnson followed by Sev, Scorch, Fixer and Boss.
Before Boss exit the room, he notice Walon standing in the same spot since Twilight confess what happen to her in Equestria.
"You alright Vau?" Boss asked with concern.
"Yes. Go ahead without me and tell your friend that her training starts tomorrow morning." Vau said.
"You got it." Boss said and leaves the room leaving Walon alone in the room.
A few more minutes pass as Walon stays in the same place until he punches a nearby wall leaving a dent on it and leaves the room fuming.
Later...
"Where are we going?" Twilight asked while walking through the empty corridors with Johnson and the rest of Delta Squad.
"Just be a little bit more patient Missy. We're almost there." Johnson said before reaching to a dead end.
"A wall!? So we wasted half an hour of our time just to find a wall!" Scorch said.
"Quit your yapping and be patient." Johnson said and knocks the wall which turns out to be hollow. "Hey open the door will you."
A few seconds later, the wall soon splits in half and retracts it self revealing three clones piloting some sort of battle suit which is about 9 ft tall.
The rest of Delta Squad stared in shock and awe while the gaze at the armored suit until they notice a modified Z-6 rotary with grenade launcher attachment and a tank with a ACP ammunition belt attached to it and strapped at the back of its arm.
"Goliath suits. They're design for supporting troops, defence and assault. Also they can easily take several AAT shots. They also enhance the clone strength which is enough to tear through a tank or Walker armor easily."
"ID please." The Goliath pilot asked.
"Here's my ID." Johnson said and shows his ID card to the Goliath pilot.
The Goliath pilot raises his suit's hand and scans the ID card. A few seconds later, the scanner turns green.
"Your clear Captain Johnson. But what about the others behind you?" The pilot ask and points at Twilight and the Commandos.
"They're with me as guests trooper." Johnson said.
"Yes sir."
"Come on now. We got other things to see." Johnson said.
“Alright lead the way” Twilight said.
later...
“Welcome to the 35th Marine Corps HQ!” Johnson said with pride while Twilight and the commandos stare at the massive military complex filled strange military contraptions, armor and training facilities.
“Whoa.” Was all Fixer could say as he continues to stare in awe as he notice a modified Sandskimmer with extra passenger seats stops infront of the group and looks at the speeder with curiosity. But the driver of the speeder was another Clone Captain but his armor was the same like Johnson but was painted black with a grey camo
“Captain Johnson, General Windu wants to see you right now.” The clone said.
“I’ll see him later after I give them a small tour around.” Johnson said and gesturesto Twilight and Delta squad.
“Alright. But after this report to General Windu.”
“You got it.” Johnson said and enters the speeder. “Get in.”
Without a second thought Twilight and the others enters the speeder. Once they enter the speeder, the Captain hits the gas and sends the speeder speeding through the district at a steady pace.
“Hey Johnson who’s the newbie?” The Clone said.
“Her name’s Twilight Sparkle, she’s a unicorn who does magic and she was recently banished from her home for a crime she didn’t commit. Her brother, friends and mentor turn their backs on her.” Johnson answered.
“Harsh. I believe I haven't introduce myself. Name’s CT-3345 or Captain Gideon. Commanding officer of Sentinel Company.” He introduced.
“Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight replied and notice that they were in a different district. “Where are we now.”
“We’re at the Research and Development District or R&D for short Twilight.” Johnson answered.
As they drive through the district, they see several drones flying above them, a New kind of LAAT/i with sleek yet different design, Clone troopers wearing a new type of Phase 1 armor with a jetpack attached to their backs or piloting newly built Goliath mechs and a new kind of tank that looks like TX-130 Saber-class but bigger also equipped with cannon turret with a pair of missile launcher pods attached to its side and besides it hovering like the speeder, it has caterpillar tracks beneath it. Once the tank exits out of the garage, it soon transforms into its walker mode.
“What you're seeing here is advanced warfare. The 35th Marine Corps has the single largest military standing Corps in the Grand Army of the Republic also has the best tech in the galaxy but we answer to no Senators except for the Jedi council themselves unless the senate's have a very damn good reason why. Unlike the other Clones, we are train not to follow all orders but question the commanding officers themselves also we pledge our loyalty to the Jedi council. The 35th Marine Corps true goal is to not only served the Republic but to protect and save the innocents from the Separatist. In fact, that the truth is, we’re often more effective than any Battalions, platoons, squads, legions and corps. For example, the 212th Attack Battalion, 7th Sky Corps and the 501st Legion.” Johnson explained getting surprised nods from Twilight and the Commandos.
A few minutes past as Twilight and Delta squad look around seeing buildings, clones, advance LAATs and other kind of stuff. After a few more minutes, they enter another district but this time there was barracks, armories, firing range, grenade range, simulators and a fairly large obstacle course.
“This is the Military training district. Its where we Marines train and sharpen our skills.” Gideon said.
“Wow. Its amazing.” Twilight commented.
“Thanks and look, we got a couple of new recruits over there.” Johnson said and points at a group of ARF Troopers.
“I’ll stop here so we can watch them get screwed by the drill sergeant.” Gideon said and parks the speeder at the side.
“Now tell me troopers, what’s our motto in the Corps!?” The sergeant asked.
“To serve the Republic and follow every single order without question sir!” The ARF Troopers answered in unison.
“Wrong! Our motto is to not only to served the Republic but to protect and saved the innocent and served the Jedi council without question! and as a marine, we do not follow orders all the time! Drop down and give me 20!” The sergeant yelled.
The ARF Troopers could just stare at the drill sergeant in shock at what he said.
“Did I stutter!” The drill sergeant yelled at the top of his lungs which sounded like the royal canterlot voice to Twilight making wince a bit at the unfortunate clones who were at the receiving end.
“Alright, let’s go we got to see General Windu right now.” Gideon said and hits the gas again thus sending the speeder speeding away.
later…
The speeder soon starts to slow down as Twilight sees a large command center which was heavily guarded by Goliaths and heavily-armed marines.
“Talk about some serious security here. Do the kaminons know about this?” Fixer asked.
“No. Even the Prime minister doesn’t know about this too except for a few though.” Gideon replied.
“Oh.”
“Let’s go, we still got to see General Windu.” Johnson said before exiting the speeder followed by Twilight and Delta squad. “Thanks for the lift Gideon.”
“No problem.” Gideon said and soon takes off.
Once the speeder left and was out of sight, they soon notice General Windu behind them. but Twilight soon took notice of a middle-aged Mandalorian behind Windu and the Mandalorian armor was Sand gold.
“Captain Johnson.” Windu greeted.
“General.” Johnson greeted back.
“I see you brought Twilight Sparkle and Delta squad with you.” Windu said.
“Just to give them a tour around the base.” Johnson said.
“Even so Captain, this could very well compromise the location of Corps HQ.” Windu stated.
“I’ll make sure this doesn’t happen again sir.” Johnson said.
“Can I ask you something sir?” Twilight asked.
“You can call me by my name Twilight and what would you like to ask me.” Windu asked.
“Who’s that man behind you?” She asked.
“His name is Kal Skirata. He was once a Mandalorian drill sergeant who tasked to train a group of clones to Highly efficient Commandos.
“Oh. I’m gonna introduce myself to him.” Twilight said and walks towards the golden armored mandalorian. “Hello there, My name is Twilight Sparkle.”
“Name’s Kal Skirata.” He greeted. “And what kind creature are you>”
“I’m a unicorn. My once live in Equestria before I was banished.” Twilight said sadly.
“Banished? For what reason.” Skirita asked.
“I was frame for a crime I didn’t commit causing my friends to turn their backs on me without a second thought. My mentor Princess Celestia who was once my mentor stripped me from my citizenship and my achievements. Not only that, my own elder brother of BBBFF turns his back on me and says I’m not his sister anymore!!!” She said in anger with fresh tears strolling down her cheeks and soon receives a hug from Skirita surprising her.
“Don’t cry young one. What they did to you was unacceptable. I will not forgive them what they have done to you including your brother. I believe I should adopt you too.” Kal said.
“Adoption!? I barely even know you!” Twilight said in surprised.
“In the tradition of the Mandalorians, they say family is more than just blood. No matter what you are they still consider you as family.” Kal said. “I’m still going to adopt you no matter what you are. Unicorn or not I’m still gonna adopt you.”
“Thank you so much.” Twilight thanked before breaking the hug.
“Captain Johnson, will you please escort Twilight to her new quarters. And Twilight, I recently contacted and inform you new drill sergeant to train you here in the Corps HQ. Now go get some rest.” Windu said.
“Sure and thank you.” Twilight said before leaving the command center with Johnson.
Once they were out of sight, Windu turns his attention on the commandos.
“Delta squad, you are welcome to join the 35th Marine Corps anytime even visit the base as long you will not tell anybody the base location. Now go and get some rest.” He said and leaves.
Meanwhile where Twilight is…
“Here are your quarters.” Johnson said.
Twilight soon enters the room and looks around the pristine white room only seeing a bed, a storeroom, a study table, a sofa next to the windows, a shelf and a coffee table.
“Fresh clothing are kept in the storeroom here.” Johnson said and push door button and reveals the storeroom but something caught Twilight’s attention as she notice a deactivated Astromech droid at the end of the room and notice a opaque dome on it.
“Hey Johnson whats this?” Twilight asked curiously.
“Thats a R3-series Astromech droid. What's it doing here.” Johnson said.
“How do you make it work?” Twilight asked.
“You just activate it by using the switch at the back of its head.” Johnson explained and activates the astromech.
“Beep~bwoop~whoop” The astromech beeps curiously.
“Whats your name buddy?” Johnson asked
“Beep~beep~boop.” The droid beeped.
“Your name is R3-C4.” Johnson said and received a series of beeps from R3
“Wait you understand him?” She ask in surprise.
“Yup. All clones are trained to understand the Astromech chatter which is a bunch of high density chirps and squeals.” Johnson explained.
“Let me try this then.” Twilight said and cast a memory transfer spell on Johnson.
“What did you cast this time?” Johnson asked.
“I casted a memory transfer spell. Which means I know how to understand the droid’s high-density chatter.” Twilight explained.
“Really. Good, now go and introduce yourself to the droid.” Johnson said and receives a nod from Twilight.
“Done. Hi my name is Twilight Sparkle.” Twilight greeted to the droid who beeps in excitement and introduce himself to Twilight. “Nice to meet you too R3-C4”
“I think he's in good hands with you.” Johnson said and makes his way to the room entrance. “If you need anything else just call me.”
“I will.” Twilight replied.
Johnson nods his head in confirmation and exits the room and the room door automatically closes.
Once Johnson left, Twilight let’s out a loud yawn for few seconds and later stares at her new droid companion for a few minutes.
“I think I should get some sleep.” Twilight said as she started to feel tired from today’s events.
R3 soon beeps in agreement and goes into standby mode next to her bed making her smile and soon lies on her bed and started thinking about the events that transpired in her mind until she soon falls to the sweet embrace of sleep.
