> A New Illustrated Pony > by EllahSketch > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > My Happy Parents :) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- CRASH!!! There they go again! Throwing things at each other... Yelling back and forth. Ellah Sketch plops down on a red, fuzzy, beanbag chair and sighs the most loneliest sighs of all. Why can't they just get along!? One story below in the kitchen, two ponies argue over whether or not Ellah should go to a summer camp for teen unicorns still learning magic. Her father, Pencil Sketch, picks up a bag full of camping supplies with his unicorn magic, and throws it across the dining room. "FOR THE LAST TIME LIONA, I SAID NO!!!" The other pony, her mother, turned a bright shade of red ,and with all the breath she could, tried to fight back. "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE ONE IN CONTROL PENCIL?! YOU KNOW IM DOING THIS FOR ELLAH! SHE NEEDS TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH OTHER PONIES HER AGE!" Please, oh please, oh please, just STOP! You guys are driving me insane! Her ears flatten as she presses her hooves against her temples, trying to soothe her headache. Her parents keep fighting and breaking almost all the dishes in the kitchen. Ellah, frustrated, walks over to a lime green framed mirror and just looks at herself. Messy, red hair, sharp horn, soft purple coat, black hipster glasses, and a sketchpad and pencil for a cutie mark. She was an individual, but her eyes are what make her most special. At the moment, they were a grey mixed with a bright red(which meant she was depressed and angry). Yes... her eye color changes as her emotions do. Which most ponies find weird and just leave Ellah alone. That's why her mother wants to make her go to a summer camp. "Ellah could you come down dear? Your father and I want to talk to you!", her mother called from downstairs. "KK, I'm coming!" As soon as she walked in, her eyes turned a light blue (scared and sad). Her mother had a bruise on the side on her face that she was trying to cover up with her mane. "Darling, I know you wanted to go to that summer camp, but..." Liona Script glanced over at her husband and back at Ellah. "... you won't be going. :(" She gave a dramatic look and sarcastically implied, "Oh no! How ever will I get over this tragedy!?" Liona just stared at her, unamused. Pencil, on the other hand, was trying to hold in laughter, but it came out anyway. "Ha ha ha!!! She gets it from you! Ha ha ha!!" Liona glares at him and says, "Not much of a comedy if you ask me!" Liona Script and Pencil Sketch are both very creative people. Liona is a unicorn, so is Pencil. Liona is an actress and a singer in a famous broadway group called, "Tragic Ponies". Pencil Sketch is a children's book Illustrator, and has inspired his little filly to be a master with a pencil also. He works with his life-long best friend, R.J. Maur. R.J. is the author for all the children's books they work on together. Pencil made a vow when they got their cutie marks as colts, to be friends until they die, and to work hard together for other ponies all over Equestria. Pencil and Liona met in Baltimare, Mareland, and were happily wed they day before Ellah's birth. They now live with their teenage daughter in a fancy, colorful apartment filled with all sorts of "artsy" stuff, but Pencil and Liona's marriage is about to crash into a power pole. This makes Ellah's eye colors change all the time with sadness, anger, frustration, and pure depression. All of this drama going around is making her a little dark on the inside, and one day... she just might burst! > Accepted > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's the end of the day, and Ellah's becoming a little sleepy. As she walks by her parent's room, she hears them arguing about something else stupid. Her eyes turned orangish-red (annoyed and angry/frustrated). Geez! They need to lighten up a little and get along! She walks over to her side table and turns on a lamp, picks up her silky, light purple night cap, and puts it on. Yawn! I think I'll get some sleepy tea. Ellah's eyes turn a navy blue (sleepy). She walks down the narrow hallway and passes the door. SMACK! "Ahhh!! Why would you do that?!?! How dare you!" She hears another smack and her eyes turn a bright red! Instead of walking straight, into the kitchen, she opens the door to her left and screams, "WILL YOU GUYS KNOCK IT OFF!!! YOU REALIZE I'M A VERY OBSERVANT PONY, RIGHT?! SO WHY DO YOU GUYS KEEPS FIGHTING WHEN YOU HAVE A CHILD WHO COULD BE EASILY INFLUENCED?!" Her eyes become so red, that they look as though they are flaming. "You could at least go outside to handle all this nonsense!" Ellah turns around and walks out, slamming the door shut. BAM! Sometimes... I wish they'd DIE!!! She stomps into the kitchen and makes some Sleepy Tea. The smell of the steaming hot tea makes her eyes, once again, turn a navy blue.Maybe that will make them have nightmares about me leaving for a family that doesn't fight all the time. Ellah decides to finally go to bed. She walks down the hallway, her tea floating in purple magic next to her. "Gah! They need marriage counceling!" She walks in, sipping her tea. As she sits her tea down on the bedside table, she lifts the blankets on her bed up and slides under. She falls asleep (,and doesn't drink the rest of her tea). 7 Hours Later YAAAWWWWNN!! * tweet tweet* Ellah slowly sits up a glares at the bird on her desk, Golden Sparks. *Tweet tweet!!* "Yeah, yeah, yeah! I'm getting up." She slumps out of bed and notices that all of her drawings were all over the place! Darn! I did it again! Sometimes in her sleep, she uses her magic with out realizing it. She has NEVER told a soul. Of course her parents know about it. When she was a filly and slept in a crib, in their room, she would do the same to all of her mother's scripts and her father's drawings. They decided to keep this a secret from everypony. Taking her night cap off, she notices that her tea fell off of her bedside table, and spilled onto one of her favorite drawings. It's a drawing of Golden Sparks as a pony. A Pegasus pony. Ellah and her bird have had the strongest bond anypony could ever have with their pet. She got him when she was just a filly. Golden (or "Gold") was the one who inspired her to draw and earned her cutie mark. Since then, Golden was the only thing that could make her eyes turn a happy yellow. She let Golden out to help clean up her mess. "I really need to help. Don't I Gold?" The bird just happily chirped back picking up papers with his bird claws. Ellah puts her drawings back in a drawer, and puts on her favorite blue scarf. Her eyes turn a light yellow (happy). "It's Monday... time the start a new week of school, but at least I can get out of the house for eight hours! Oh! Almost forgot my glasses!" Her glasez float toward her, and sits back down on her face. " Whelp! Time to go. Bye Gold." The door flings open as she trots out of her room. 7 Hours Later RIIIIIIIIINNNG!!! Here we go... time to go back home. Ellah walks out of the school building with her eyes blue (sad), but Gold suddenly swoops down from a tree and drops a letter onto the ground in front of her. "Hmm? What's this?" She flips it over to see her name in light purple. "Curious." Her eyes turn a light pink (confused). Gold starts to chirp happily, waiting for her to open it. Ellah impatiently opens it and very large, in purple letters, reads 'ACCEPTED'. At the bottom, is a green check mark. The letter read: ACCEPTED Dear Ellah Sketch, We've received your resume to the University of Creative Ponies. We are glad to say that we accept and hope that you will be satisfied with the great education that you will receive here at UCP. Sincerely, Head Mistress Moody Moonlight "YES!!" > My Happy Dead Parents :( > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Ellah walks home, she smiles the biggest smile ever. She was the happiest pony in Equestria for sure! Her eyes were obviously a bright yellow, but even though that made people stare, she didn't care one single bit. She even stopped by Sunbucks (popular coffee shop) for a nice, hot Chai Laté! Mmm! Sipping her Laté, she trots down a dirt path humming a song that she'd heard her mom practice zillions of times. It was very catchy. She was finally home! CRASH!!! All of a sudden, Ellah swore she saw a pot being thrown out of a window, and of course it had to be the floor that her apartment was on. She rushed in with red eyes and face. She galloped through the door and saw two bruised ponies yelling at each other. "CALM DOWN AND JUST DO THE DISHES LIONA!!", yelled Pencil at Liona. Noticing Ellah, her mother lowers her voice arguing, "No! I have to practice my parts on the scripts, and then I will do the dishes. Why don't you go draw some to calm down!" Ellah slowly walks over and gestures toward the window. "Or, ya know, you could fix the window..." She raises her brows at her father. Pencil glares at his daughter and yells, "Go to your room Ellah! This isn't your business! So GO!" Ellah was shocked at first with her eyes grey and blue, but then they immediately started to glow. They were redder than ever and glowing! The expression on her face startled her mother. She started walking, but suddenly began to float! Her horn covered in a red glow also. It's like she created a new kind of magic. When she spoke, it sounded a bit raspy and evil. "Not my business? NOT MY BUSINESS!? YOUR WHOLE ENTIRE WORTHLESS LIFE IS MY BUSINESS FATHER!!" Pencil and Liona both became very terrified. Pencil tried to find a knife in a drawer next to him. "Oh, and father... DONT EVER SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!!" He smiles and replies, " B-but I'm your f-father!" He takes out the knife with orange magic and throws it at Ellah. Little did he know that Ellah had created a new, stronger magic if her own. She stopped the knife with her newer red magic and sent it flying back at him. It went right through the front of his chest and out of his back. He stands there. Stunned. Then all of a sudden falls over with tears in his eyes and lets out his last breath. Her mother, still in the corner, screams and cries out, "Pencil! Noooo! Ellah why?!" Her enraged daughter shoot a look back at her to keep her quiet. "Shh...The neighbors might hear your screams!" She elegantly lands back down on the ground as if she had wings and continues, "I'm doing this for your own good, ya know. Death is doing you part. Now you guys can be happy! In heaven!" Endless tears run down her mother's face. Ellah picks up the acceptance letter and holds it to where her mother could see it. "Hey, I got accepted to the art school!" Liona wipes tears off of her muzzle, and pretends to be "happy" for her. "Good for you dear! Now will you please let mommy go? Please!?" Ellah just shakes her head. "Tsk tsk! I see what you are trying to do! You're trying to escape from my nice goodbye gift... happiness! If you want to go ahead and leave then I guess..." She picks up an electric turkey carving knife and turns it on. "... we'll just have to end the party sooner, right mommy?" Liona shakes with fear. Now too scared tocry. "Bye bye! Love you!" Horrifying screams come from Liona Script as her limbs are cut off one by one. Her precious daughter smiling during it all. "NO!! ELLAH STOP IT!! AHHHH!! AHHHH!! SOMEPONY HEEELLP!!" Liona's blood is everywhere in their kitchen, along with her husband's. With one last swing, Liona's head plops on the floor with a smile drawn on her face with her own blood. Ellah, light-headed, passes out after all of the evil magic vanishes. Golden flies to the window to see all of the blood and Ellah lying on the floor. He just chirps sadly and waits... waits... and waits. Until the next day, Ellah finally wakes up.
