We have finally stopped the Herald invasion of New Romulus and have saved the remain Preservers from the Lae'nes system archive in the midst of the new war with the Iconians we are en-route back to Earth Space Dock for to receive new orders concerning our next move in defense of the Iconians and their servitor races. -end log-
It had happened so fast. The return of the Iconians, the appearance of another Dyson Sphere in the Iconian system and to make matters worse the Iconinas have declared all-out war against the Entire Alpha and Beta quadrants. But there is hope, the men and women serving Starfleet the Romulan militia and the Klingon Defense force have join together stop this threat or die trying.
Bridge of the Dawnstar
"T'vreil what is our estimated time of arrival at Earth space dock?" Sarcon asked his fellow Vulcan she and the rest of his command staff had all graduated from Starfleet academy last year during the middle of the Federation-Klingon war with their first training cruise turning into a living nightmare when they were attacked by the IKS Chot under the command of the late Captain Marek.
"At our current speed we shall reach the Sol system in exactly three day nine hours and twenty three minutes" T'vreil replied
"Thank you T'vreil" Sarcon replied after operation Delta flight and the battle for New Romulus and defending the preserver archive much of the crew was in dire need of rest and shore leave. But for Sarcon he had different though he was unable to show it he wanted to return to fighting the Heralds and Iconians for he knew if they lost the entire Alpha and Beta Quadrants would fall along with the rest of the galaxy. Suddenly the sensors start beeping...
"What is it Kolez " Sarcon asked
"Sir I'm picking up an unknown warp signature" The Saurian replied
"Can you pin point its place of origin?" Sarcon asked who ever or whatever had caused them to pick up this warp signature must be a race that has lived within Federation territory for some time to have finally reached warp capabilities.
"Getting a location now, it appears to be originating from.... the Equus System Admiral Specifically from Equus three” Kolez replied
"The Equus system intriguing, Commander Flores what do we currently know about Equus system" Sarcon asked his long time first officer another member of his graduating class that had been with him on their training cruise turned fight for survival
"What we currently know is that it contains four planet three of them M-class which includes Equus three unfortunately every probe we have sent to Equus three we have lost contact with" She replied
"And the cause for the probes being lost?" Sarcon asked
"Some sort of ambient and unknown energy field that surrounds the planet as far up as the outer atmosphere” Commander Flores replied
"What are the effects of this energy field?" Sarcon asked if there was going to be a first contact meeting they had to know if it was safe to use the transporters.
"The field is causing heavy interference with our sensors so we are unable to get a clear reading of the planets technological development or what the native species is" "Commander Flores replied
"Is there anything else we know Miss Flores?" Sarcon asked
"The only information we have was recorded ten years before the war with the Klingons what was discovered was the Equus system does not have a heliocentric orbit, and that its star and other three planets seem to orbit Equus three
"Hmm this will complicate matters sufficiently, Kolez are there any other ships in the sector that will have pick up the signature?" Sarcon said
"One moment Admiral I was starting to check, there is Sir it’s the R.R.W T'lava, we are also being hailed by them" Was Kolez's reply
"On Screen" Sarcon ordered to which a rather young looking Romulan male face appeared on the view screen with a smile
"Admiral Xiramek" Sarcon said addressing his Romulan ally
"Admiral Sarcon, It’s good to see you again my friend" Xiramek said to his longtime friend
"It is agreeable to see you again as well my friend but, then again I do not presume you have contacted us to merrily say hello" Sarcon replied
"You are correct my friend, a few minutes ago we detected an unknown warp signature coming from the Equus system I assume that you detected it as well?" Xiramek Said
"Indeed we have I would suggest that you contact Admiral Kererek while we contact Earth space dock to ask for authorization to make a joint contact" Sarcon said a joint first contact was not a very common occurrence and first contact was a very delicate situation many races would either join the federation or they would isolate themselves in fear of others species.
"We'll get right on Xiramek out" and with that the communication was cut
"Kolez" Sarcon asked
"Sir?" Kolez asked
"Contact Earth Space Dock priority channel Alpha tell the communications officer to connect to Admiral Quinn's office" Sarcon ordered
"Aye Sir" Kolez replied a few moments later and the face of Admiral Quinn the head of all Starfleet operations appeared on the view screen.
"Admiral Sarcon Its good to see you" Said Admiral Quinn
"Greeting's Admiral, I trust I am not interrupting something of the utmost importance? " Sarcon asked
"Not at the moment but, I believe that you have a good reason to contact via channel Alpha" Quinn asked
"indeed I have moments ago we picked up an unknown warp signature originating from the Equus system, Admiral Xiramek of the Romulan Republic whom I believe you have met has also confirmed as to having detected the same signature" Sarcon explained
"I see" Said Quinn "And you are wanting to ask for permission to make first contact with him to an unknown species on a planet we hardly know anything about"
"Affirmative Admiral" Sarcon responded
Admiral Quinn let out a long sigh, with the war with the Iconians having just begun now wasn't the best time to be conducting a first contact mission.
"I'll get in contact with President Okeg and the Romulan high command, I should have a verdict for you in a few hours Quinn out" Quinn said before cutting the signal.
"Until then ensign Prescott lay in a course for Equus 3 maximum warp
"Aye sir course laid in sir" Prescott replied
"Engage" Sarcon said in a fraction of a second the Presidio class battle cruiser accelerated to sixteen hundred times the speed of light it would only take a few minutes to arrive and then all they could do was wait for Admiral Quinn to give them the Presidents verdict
"Arrival in ten seconds admiral" Prescott said to which the bridge was greeted to a view of a lush green world with bright blue oceans and green country sides and Ha'feh class heavy assault warbird in orbit.
"It would seem our friend Xiramek is waiting for us, ensign establish orbit alongside the T'lava and await their hail" Sarcon said
"Aye aye sir" Prescott replied as he maneuvered towards the T'lava putting the Dawnstar in orbit three kilometers from the T'lava.
"We're being hailed Admiral" said Kolez
"On screen" Sarcon replied
"Sarcon my friend glad you could join us" Xiramek said with a small smile on his face.
"Indeed my friend though regrettably we must await the final decision from our commanding officers" Sarcon said
"Until then we should both find a way to safely transport down to the planets surface through the energy field" Xiramek replied
"Until then my friend, Sarcon out" Sarcon said as the comm was closed.
Fast forward two and a half hours Dawnstar Bridge
"Admiral we're receiving a message from Admiral Quinn" Kolez announced unlike the rest of the crew he was a bit nervous at having to undertake first contact, as the Dawnstar's tactical officer and chief of security he had more reason to be cautious he had heard the stories of how some of the first contact scenarios in the twenty fourth century had turned to disaster so he wanted to be ready for anything
"On screen" Sarcon ordered to see Admiral Quinn and Admiral Kererek as well
"Admirals I presume you have a verdict for us?" Sarcon asked
"We do you and Xiramek are authorized to initiate first contact, however there is the matter of the ambient energy field around the planet which we know will prohibit transporter use, we hope you have a solution to overcome this?" Quinn asked
"We have instead of using the Dawnstar's and T'lava's transporters we are going to utilize a runabout preferably one with cloaking capabilities and use it to beam to the planet’s surface from low orbit" Sarcon said
"Are you sure this is the only available option?" Asked Admiral Kererek
"I am afraid it is Admiral the percentage of finding another way is less 8.63 percent" Sarcon said " I do however, have one more inquiry that I must ask Admiral, what are my orders if the native inhabitants wish to see our ships?"
"If they wish to they may but, under no circumstances are you to reveal sensitive technology to them" Admiral Quinn said
"Understood Admiral" Sarcon replied
"Very well, you are here by ordered to initiate first contact, we expect your result in the next three days Quinn out" Said Admiral Quinn as he closed the comm channel
"Kolez you have command Commander Flores, T'vreil, and Lieutenant Commander Zarva please meet me in transport room one" Sarcon said as he headed for the turbo and bring only hand held phaser's for self-defense only we do not want the natives to think we are invading them"
Twenty minutes later en-route to planetary surface
it had been decided on by both Sarcon and Xiramek that they would be taking a Kestrel Runabout due to its size and with it being equipped with a full size transporter and medical bay in case first contact turned deadly and a member of the away teams became seriously injured, while uncloaking and providing fire support.
"Admiral we have located the warp signature, it appears to be coming from a small village with what appears to be a castle made out of solid crystal" Centurion O'taas announced
"Bring us into transporter range above the village and remain cloak" Xiramek ordered
"Aye sir" O'taas replied
"Xiramek my friend what do you believe we will find once we have transported?" Sarcon asked his friend
"I don't have any idea which is why I am coming prepared" Xiramek replied as he un-holstered his plasma compression pistol
"I see you have decided to come prepared but, I hope we do not have to use our weapons and make this a peaceful first contact" Sarcon said
"Indeed my friend" Xiramek replied
"Sir we are with in transporter range, we're going to transport you to the signatures last known location" O'taas said
"Very well proceed" Xiramek ordered the two away teams consisted of Sarcon, Commander Flores Chief Scientist T'vreil and Lieutenant commander Zarva the Dawnstar's chief engineer while Xiramek's include his first officer Tovan-Khev chief engineer V'eril
"Ready to transport Sir" O'taas said once everyone was on the transporter pad
"Energize" Sarcon ordered before being consumed in a beam of green light, they were now truly stepping into the unknown with no idea what lay ahead or how Equus would react to first contact
"YESYESYESYES YES I can't believe it I finally became a Wonderbolt ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh I so excited" Rainbow Dash exclaimed with glee even though she had be celebrating for over two hours unaware that in her excitement when she did a triple Sonic Rainboom she had gotten some other worldly attention.
"While ah'm glad yer excited Rainbow don't ya think ya have celebrated enough already" asked Applejack though she was happy for Rainbow Dash she was starting to annoyed by her constant celebrating.
"Oh Applejack let her celebrate it's not every day something as wonderful as this happens" Said Rarity
"Ah know but she' been goin at it fer over two hours now when is she going to take a breather" Applejack replied
'But she has to be excited Applejack this was her dream" Nyx said to Applejack she did have a point
"Ah suppose ya have a point” Applejack with a sigh
"And you know this calls for" Said Pinkie "A PARTY" only then to be interrupted by a purple flash that quickly dissipated to reveal Twilight

“Just great mo- holy moly what that?" Nyx said as she and the rest of the main 6 saw multiple green columns of light suddenly appear before fading away leaving seven bipedal creatures in their place.

"ah don't know never seen anything like em before" Applejack replied as they watched these new comers, suddenly two of them pulled out small weird looking tablet things that started beeping and making a chiming noise it was when they spoke they were really shocked.
"T'vreil do you know where we currently are?" Sarcon asked
"Indeed admiral we are within the crystal castle in the upper levels, there is a large amount of interference affecting my tricorder however, the source of the warp signature is very close by" T'vreil replied.
"Interesting it seems however we are not alone" Sarcon said as he gestured towards the ponies
"Remarkable" Xiramek stated "It would appear that Earth type equines seem to be present on this planet"
"Indeed it is truly fascinating but they seem rather small to be horses they are most likely ponies though I do find their bright coloration to be somewhat unique" Sarcon replied
"Did they just talk in Equestrian" Rarity asked in a low tone
"What in the hay do they mean by Earth type equine more importantly what in Celestia is Earth" Applejack asked
"Do you think they like parties" Pinkie asked only to have everyone look at her with half lidded eyes
"What?" She asked only they didn't realize that Nyx had started to walk towards the new comers
"Sarcon that small black one with the horns and wings is coming towards us" Xiramek said
"Curious it seems to have a high level of intelligence for something of its size but, what do you noticed that seems rather strange about it" Sarcon replied
"The overall fact that it has a horn and wings along with eyes that are far bigger than they should be but, what I find curious is they appear to be slitted like a Caitians” Xiramek said
"Indeed my friend it would seem logical to conclude that it is possible that it's eyes are unique to it but, let us observe what it will do" Sarcon said, Nyx slowly made her way over to the strangers they all seemed funny looking they didn't have and fur except for the top of theirs heads and one was even blue some of them had pointed ears, finally she stopped only five feet from them looking up at the one wearing the red shirt who seemed to be very interested in her.
"H-Hello" Nyx said in a slightly scared voice
"Truly fascinating you are capable of speech" Sarcon said as he knelt down in front of Nyx "My I ask your name young one?"
"M-My name is Nyx" She said
"NYX what are you doing get over here" Twilight said in a loud and panicked voice what was Nyx thinking walking up to a complete stranger that they didn't know anything about and start talking to it
"I assure you I intend no harm to her, I am merely curious to understand who and what she is" Sarcon replied it was clear the Lavender one was obviously Nyx's parent and was concerned for her safety.
"Little Nyx is the lavender equine your parent?" Xiramek asked
"Yes she's my mom and we're ponies not that funny word you called us" Nyx replied
"Thank you" Xiramek said “Can you introduce us to the rest of the ponies here"
"Yes, mom they want to meet you all" Nyx said as she trotted back over to Twilight and the rest of the Elements only for Xiramek and Sarcon to notice that the pink "pony" was missing
"The pink one is missing" Xiramek said as he placed a hand on his holster
"Remain alert" Sarcon said in a whisper before a pink blur slammed into Xiramek knocking him to the ground

"I believe ma'am that my friend was not expecting you appear out of nowhere and suddenly be standing on top of him let to start inquiring an unprecedented amount of question faster than he could answer" Sarcon said

"Ah you must be the mother of young Nyx I do believe introductions are required it would seem logical to ask for your names first" Sarcon said
"Well I guess I can go first I'm Twilight Sparkle the Princess of friendship and Nyx's mom and I see you have already met pinkie pie" Twilight said giggling at the last bit
"It is a pleasure to meet you Princess" Xiramek said with a small bow next came Applejack
"Well howd'y there mah name's Applejack co-owner of Sweet Apple Acres it be a pleasure ta meet ya" Applejack said
"Why hello I'm Rarity owner of Carousel boutique Ponyville resident fashionista while not to be rude I do believe your outfits colors clash terribly" Rarity said

"I believe we can, I am vice Admiral Sarcon representative of the United Federation of Planets" Sarcon said "This is my First officer Commander Flores"

"My chief scientist Commander T'vreil" Sarcon continued
"Greetings"
"And my chief engineer lieutenant commandeer Zarva"

"And I believe you have somewhat for one of you already met my Friend Xiramek" Sarcon said
"Julan Tru I am Rear admiral Xirmek of the Romulan Republic and a good friend of Sarcon” Xiramek said this is my First officer and lifelong friend Tovan_Khev
"Julan tru" Tovan said with a small bow
"Pffft yeah right Humans aren't real" Rainbow Dash retorted
"Oh really" Commander Flores said as she stepped forward "Then try telling that to all one hundred billion of us" to which Rainbow dash turned pure white and backed away

"indeed my friend as Sarcon was saying me and Tovan are Romulans though you might noticed physical similarities between Vulcans and Romulans, with Veril being a Reman" Xiramek said "we were from the planets Romulus and Remus" he continued with a saddened tone
"Were from? what do mean by that" Ask Nyx curious to know what Xiramek meant
"A story for another time" Xiramek replied
"Okay then but why are you here?" Asked Twilight
"Yeah what are you here for mister" Nyx said while lightly bouncing up and down
"I see no harm in explaining, young Nyx, nearly two and a half hours ago our ships sensors detected a warp signature emanating from your planet" Sarcon started "we both contacted our superior officers to receive permission to initiate first contact with you world to locate who was responsible for achieving warp speed and to see if they would be interested in joining the Federation since your world is within Federation space"
"Um could you please define what this warp speed is and what you mean by our world being in Federation space darling" Rarity
"of Course miss rarity warp speed is what we use to classify an object moving at the speed of light and with your planet being in federation space I mean you are with an area of space we refer to as the Alpha quadrant in what we know as the Draylon Sector" Xiramek said
"Now wait just a dern minute" Applejack said "what does the bunch of whooey have to do with us now"
"Because Miss Applejack the source of the warp signature is emanating from this very room" Xiramek said.
"Say what now ya mean ta tells us that one of us here has gone and moved at the speed of light?" Applejack asked
"That would be correct" Sarcon said "T'vreil if you would"
"Aye sir" T'vreil said as she slowly made her way forward moving her tricorder side to side as she approached our colorful hero's all the while the beeping of the tricorder becoming faster and louder before stopping in front of Rainbow Dash
"The warp signature coming from Rainbow dash matches that of what we detected in space Admiral" T'vreil said as Rainbow's jaw dropped open and stood there
"You mean two and a half hours ago you detected me traveling at light speed?" Rainbow asked
"Indeed you were Rainbow Dash" Sarcon said "But we will need of demonstration of how fast you can fly to prove this is correct"
"Yeah I guess I can just to show how awesome I am" Rainbow said sporting a large enthusiastic smile
"Wait just a minute before you do that Dashie, Um Admirals would it be okay if I wrote to Princess Celestia and Luna Equestria's main rulers and my sister in-law Princess Cadence so they can know what is going on?" Twilight asked, both Sarcon and Xiramek shared a quick glance before Xiramek gave a nod of agreement.
"That would be adequate Princess" Sarcon said
"Right thank you Spike can you take a letter" Twilight said as spike came out from his hiding space
"Sure thing Twilight" he said as he grab a quill and some parchment only for our other worldly friends to stare in amazement

I am writing to you on the discovery of the century, to put it short ALIENS actual aliens have sethoof in Equestria they are very friendly at the moment and come from various what I can understand are different planets along with being part of two sepereate political bodies called the United Federation of Planets and the Romulan Republic. Twilight was ecstatic, for she was about to learn about different alien cultures at once. Sure she had learned a few thing when she went to get her crown back from Sunset Shimmer and when she had to stop the dazzling's, and right now she was in seventh heaven.
"I'm just so excited I so many questions to ask I just want to dive right in" Twilight squealed with joy
"If this will satisfy you then please ask what you wish to know" Sarcon said
"First off, this is for Xiramek, what did you mean by you used to be from Romulus and Remus" Twilight asked
"Well where to start" Xiramek “To date Romulus and Remus do not exist anymore"
"Why what ever happened to your planets darling?" Rarity asked
"They were destroyed, all that's left of them in nothing but rubble" Xiramek said "As for what happened it was twenty three years ago, the star in the Hobus system went Super Nova"
"What's a super Nova?" asked Nyx her expression full of curiosity
"A super Nova is the single most destructive force in the Galaxy seconded to the Big bang, as for what it is a Super Nova is when a star explodes" Sarcon explained only for there to be a sudden golden flash of light only for it to be replaced with four new ponies three Alicorn’s and a single unicorn
"Celestia, Luna" Twilight yelled with excitement as she galloped over to her former teacher and fellow princesses.
"It is good to see you again Twilight" Celestia said with a smile
"When we received your letter about aliens we had second thoughts but, with all the enthusiasm you put into it we came at once" Luna said to Twilight who just giggled a bit before looking and seeing her brother and her sister in-law
"Cadence, Shiny" Twilight squealed with joy, as she ran towards them.
"Twilight" Cadence and Shining Armor both said with joy as all three embraced in a hug

"Thank you Princess, I must say that I am honored to meet you four, and as a token of peace I would like to extend my hand to you in friendship" Sarcon started as he extended his hand offering it not as a conqueror but as a friend and ally
"I must say admiral you seem quite the diplomat for someone not of our world even if you aren't a pony" Celestia said before she continued "But, I must ask why have you come to our world?"
"The answer is quite simple princess, Miss Rainbow Dash has achieved what we called warp speed, in essence she was traveling at the speed of light."
"Perhaps you could show us how you achieved this Rainbow Dash so that we may see for ourselves and see if it is true and confirm what the Admiral has spoken of" Luna said
"Certainly princess but, I believe that it would be logical to let Xiramek continue with his story" Sarcon replied
"And what story would that If I may ask I would love to hear of your people' Luna said with a smile.

"Now that the re-explanation is out of the way I shall continue" Xiramek started of” After the Hobus start exploded the explosion and its destructive power was funneled through subspace were it was able to reach the Romulus system and completely destroyed it leaving nothing but rubble."
"That is so sad how or what caused the star to explode I would never allow such a thing to happen." Luna said trying to hold back her tears.
"If I may ask Princess, but I do not comprehend what you mean by not letting such a thing happen?" Sarcon asked
"It is one of my Duties as Princess of the night I have control over the moon and stars while my sister have control of the sun" Luna replied
"forgive me princess but I cannot fully believe your story to date we have had no proof of any species having such control of a star perhaps a demonstration could prove this and allow us to understand the geo centric orbit of your system " Sarcon said
"Certainly me and Luna can happily show our power" Celestia said with a smile

Luna said "I had become jealous a thousand years for watching as every pony would enjoy the day and sleep and ignore my night that I rebelled and refused to lower the moon and became corrupted becoming Nightmare moon" Luna continued before sighing "In my battle with my sister she was forced to use the Elements of Harmony on me banishing me to the moon for a thousand years" She finished before hanging her in shame. "Since my return I have managed to see the error of my ways and thus created the Tantabus to give me the same nightmare from when I became Nightmare moon"
"Don't forget we helped you get rid of the Tantabus and help you forgive yourself for what you did, no matter what we still care and love you Luna" Twilight said which caused Luna to smile knowing she had good friends.

"Everyone hit the deck" Tovan yelled as they all dived for cover only for Rainbow Dash to make a sudden 90 degree turn to her left before flying off while visually slowing down before coming back to the castle and plopping on the ground with a light thud.

"Phew for a moment I thought I was dreaming" O'taas exclaimed "alright everyone aboard next stop space" with everyone and everypony quickly boarding followed by a chorus of gasps along with plenty of wow's while a crowd had start to gather outside which had include a familiar mint green unicorn who had managed to take a few photos of the one thing every one said she was crazy about. Humans now Lyra had the proof she need to convince Bon Bon that they were real.
"Would ya looky here at these doodads Equestria doesn't even have stuff this fancy yet" Applejack said as she gazed at all the controls and monitors that filled the runabouts cockpit

"that would be the transporter, the same thing we used when we arrived" Sarcon replied " Now if you could all please take a seat I believe you asked to see our vessels" at that everypony sat in one of the unoccupied seats a bit awkwardly but enough that they would be able to see what is going on, before feeling a slight shake and seeing the rooftops of Ponyville start to sink beneath them as the rocketed into the sky and maximum impulse speed climbing higher and higher into the sky before the blue sky started to fade to black and the twinkle of stars beginning to form.
"My friend do you think it would be logical to treat our guest to zero gravity" Sarcon inquired
"I Think it is a "logical" idea to believe they will enjoy it" Xiramek said a smirk appearing on his face as he started to strap himself as did the rest of the away teams.

"No its just we wish to show one of the wonders of space, zero gravity" Xiramek said as he deactivated the runabouts gravity generator with a few yelps and an eep from Fluttershy as the ponies started to float about and bounce into each other lightly, with Pinkie enjoying it the bouncing from one bulkhead to another all in a fit of giggles and laughter.

As the runabout flew higher above the planet Twilight started to see small flashes of light before gasping and going wide eyed at what she saw. Everypony looked at what she saw and went slack jawed with surprise and amazement
"whoa" Rainbow whispered as she saw the massive sized ships before here.
"Those are you ships?" Luna asked stilling amazed at the view she was seeing
"Indeed, the green bird like one is my ship the R.R.W T'lava and the other is Sarcon’s The U.S.S Dawnstar" Xiramek replied as O'taas took the shuttle at a slower speed for a flyby past the Bridges of both ships letting everypony get a clear look at the sheer size of the two vessels before setting a course for the T'lava's shuttle bay
"T'lava this is runabout V'corvous requesting permission to land" O'taas asked over the hailing frequency
"Granted welcome home V'corvous" came the reply as the shuttle was held in a tractor beam and auto piloted into the shuttle bay where it touched down with a metallic clang as the landing skids hit the Duranium flooring.
"Who is up for a tour" Xiramek asked to receive a chorus of ME's and pleases from everypony even from Celestia and Luna who were as giddy as children wanting to go to the movies. As they stepped out of the runabout they were amazed at what they saw, multiple Romulans and Remans working on different shuttles and scorpion fighters either with repairs or maintenance.
"Wow this is incredible" Cadence said as she took in the view of the shuttle bay
"You said it honey this place is amazing" Shining said as he step up next to his wife
"If you could please follow me we'll head to the bridge to begin the tour of the T'lava" Xiramek said

The turbo lift doors opened and the ponies were greeted to a sight the likes of which had never been seen before a large circular room with multiple control stations the helm controls and the most important part the Captains chair, the look the ponies faces said it all they were impressed and amazed at the sight.

"But enough of that, I think we should at least begin our tour here starting with the tactical station" Xiramek said as he gestured the ponies over to the tactical console

"Weapons?, Why would you need weapons isn't the Federation and the republic friends with each other" Luna enquired
"We are but not every race in the galaxy is friendly, in fact some are rather warlike" Sarcon said " Our ship even down to the smallest cargo freighter have some form of weapons to defend themselves with"
"S-So W-What kind of weapons does the T-T'lava have" Fluttershy asked
"I believe since you wish to know Miss Fluttershy, it may shock you what this ship is packing" Xiramek said as he tapped a few buttons on the console before an automated recording and file popped up on the screen showing the T'lava's technical data

After her little escapade the next destination was the crew decks and medical bay.
"Here we are the medical it is sort of like the ships own onboard hospital crew members mainly come here for injuries or when they get sick" Xiramek said "But in this case I would prefer something for you all"

"I believe Xiramek is moving for a medical scan so that we may further understand your anatomy better and biology " Sarcon said
"I don't see how could hurt, besides Twilight I know you would like to see the wonders the have" Rarity said
"You Bet Rarity oh this is going to be so fun" Twilight said as she jumped onto the exam table. The exams went rather well Twilight being first gave a general basis to work with showing the advantage Alicorns have over other ponies being as the represent all three races of ponies. Fluttershy seemed to become terrified when she saw how the medical scanner worked as she let out a terrified whimper when the pencils thin been of blue light that was as wide as a piece of paper moved from front to back of her friends . unfortunately when it was her turn things didn't go so well for her.
"Miss Fluttershy I assure that this procedure is perfectly safe, if it was not we wouldn't be doing this nor would we have this technology" Sarcon said trying to reassure Fluttershy

"You see Miss Fluttershy nothing to worry about" Satra said as she helped Fluttershy off the table. the rest of the scans went well, that is until it was Pinkies turn and things got rather strange fairly quickly. When she was scanned the equipment starting throwing up error message's

"Xiramek a moment please there is something on one of the scans that requires your attention" Satra asked
"Of course, Sarcon I believe you now where the lounge is if you would lead our guest to it for some refreshments" Xiramek asked
"Of course, come with me everyone" Sarcon said as he ushered the ponies out towards the turbo lift to head to the crew lounge on deck ten as Xiramek turned to face Satra

"I was looking over the data from Fluttershy's scan and I noticed this" Satra said as she handed her PADD to Xiramek as he looked he saw what she meant in Fluttershy's upper jaw were to small elongated canine teeth their purpose was unknown to them. but, a bigger question is why would a creature that is clearly an herbivore have teeth that are normal found on a predator
"Very strange I'll look it to, thank you for bringing this to my attention Satra" Xiramek said
"Of course sir, now I believe you may be needed in the lounge" Satra said with a smile as she went back to analyzing the new data

"Wow Whee so is this like where everyone comes for lunch and parties" Pinkie asked as she started bouncing over to the bar counter
"Not quite crew members can use the replicators in their quarters to receive food and drinks but this area is more for social gatherings and time in between shifts" Sarcon said as he stepped up next to pinkie and helped put the remaining ponies who didn't have wings in a seat
"I don know I aint really sure as ta what we can eat seein as well your not from our world no offense" Applejack said with a small blush
"No insult taken but, I Am confident I will be able to find something suitable for you to eat" Sarcon said "Waiter I believe I shall have the house salad and a Dagger fish sandwich"
"Of course sir" The waiter replied only for the ponies to stare at Sarcon with a look of dread until he noticed
"I s there something I have done to offend you?" Sarcon asked a bit concerned as to why the ponies were starring at him a if he were a ghost

With that everyone began ordering food, yet Twilight couldn't help but wonder how could these beings know about all the food items they were ordering if they have never been to her planet. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and had to ask

"That my Dear Twilight is because many of the foods you and your friends have requested are native to Earth, how you ended up knowing of them is currently beyond our knowledge" Sarcon said trying his best to show them that he did not know how such a thing could have occurred but, there was one possibility but he would look into it latter. As every one ate Rainbow dash had a question just how was the runabout able to appear out of nowhere.

"That mi Dash is a something that we Romulans are quite proud of, the Runabout as well as all Romulan ships have what is known as a cloaking device which allows a ship the hide in plain sight and not be detected"

"I think the next destination should be main engineering" Xiramek said as he stood up only for scootaloo to interrupt him
"Wait I know you have all that cool stuff to protect your ship but what happens when some unfriendly jerks get in it? Scootaloo asked
"I believe we can make a short stop at the armory" Xiramek said
Deck ten Section twenty one Armory
"To better answer your Question Scootaloo on how we defend the ship if it is boarded can be answered in here" Xiramek said as the doors to the armory slid open revealing rack full of weapons from plasma beam pistols to rifles even devastating plasma minigun's.
"Ooooo Shiny" Pinkie said as she raced around looking at every thing
"Well I am impressed, what ever are these things" Rarity asked as she picked up a pulsewave gun with her magic (Functions like a shotgun)
"What you is a Pulsewave type weapon, when fired the shot spreads out over a short range" Xiramek said
"Oh what exactly does it shoot" Rarity asked
"All weapons used through out the galaxy by warp capable races are energy weapons" Sarcon said
"hmm that would seem reasonable as you would have labeled weapons that fire projectiles out of date" Shining said
"indeed we haven't used them since- Sweetie could you please stop bouncing that Plasma grenade on the ground" Xiramek demanded
"Why I'm not hurting it or trying to brake it' Sweetie Belle replied
"No but I don't want you to set it of and have it detonate the rest of the grenades and powers packs, the explosion would kill us all" Xiramek said. Sweetie Belle's expression change to one of horror as she slowly put the Grenade back on the rack where she had found it
"I believe we should head to engineering now it may be more peaceful" Xiramek said
"Yeah I agree I don't really like the thought of being blown up" Nyx said as she gave Sweetie a hug to comfort the unicorn.
The tour on Main engineering went better than expected everypony was amazed to see what the heart of the T'lava looked especially Twilight, when she found out that the Singularity core was generating power thanks to an artificial black hole. She kept bombarding Veril with question after question wanting to know how they were able to harness the power of a black hole, how it was contained and what happened with there was a core breach. The answer scared her to the point she kept a good distance away from the core while here friends and daughter giggled at her action.
with the tour concluded Xiramek escorted them to the transporter room. the ponies were rather sad when he said he would not becoming.
"Are ya sure ya can't come?" Applebloom asked
"unfortunately not I must sent a report to my superiors on what we have discovered here, do not worry we'll meet again very soon" Xiramek said as Sarcon and his away team along with the ponies crowded on to the transport pad
"All set sir" the transporter operator said
"Energize" Sarcon said as they were all enveloped in the green energy beams of the transporter, their new Destination the USS Dawnstar
As transporter chief O'Leron locked on to the transport beam coming from the T'lava he was surprised to see a number of quadruped signatures with them. Wondering what they were as the away teamed rematerialized on the pad, only to see they were technicolor ponies.few of the ponies. Looking to them Sarcon could see that the affects of being transported had not agreed with them very well as some of them look as if they were about to vomit.
"Ugh Tia We do not feels so-" Luna tries to say slipping back into old Equestrian before running to the nearest thing she can find which just so happened to be the open container of liquid polymer that just so happened to be present in the transporter room before emptying her guts into it. after a few minutes she regains her composure albeit with looking guilty for having vomited aboard Sarcon's ship.
"Oh Maker please for give me for what I just did Admiral" Luna asked hoping she had not angered Sarcon though still being unaware that he is incapable of feeling emotions.
"there is no need for apology Princess, everyone's first trip using a transporter is not the most fond experience the feeling of nausea will fade over time and continual use of the transport system" Sarcon said
"A GIANT KITTY" Fluttershy says as loud as she can which to the others sounds like a normal tone of voice as she literally jumps at O'Leron who tries to avoid her only to fail and have Fluttershy latch on to him.
"Um well this is awkward" O'Leron said as he tried to pry Fluttershy off to no avail.
"Aw aren't so you cute" Fluttershy said as she nuzzled O'Leron who started to try harder to become free.
"Miss Fluttershy I fail to see what has made you so fascinated with Chief O'Leron but I may infer that the fact that he is a Caitian has had a profound affect on you" Saron said as this was the only plausible reason to why Fluttershy was acting this way.
"Actually it might be due to the fact that her cutie mark symbolizes that she is good with animals and has found O'Leron to something that only has occurred in her dreams" Twilight said which caused the whole group minus two Vulcans to chuckle.
"Well that is nice but what ever in the world are you" Rarity asked O'Leron

"Indeed, this way please" Sarcon said exiting the transporter room followed closely by Commander Flores, Zarva and T'vreil and bringing up the rear the ponies who just as equally amazed as to how different the Dawnstar was from the T'lava only for Twilight to start freaking out
"WAIT Where's Spike, Spike Spike SPIKE WHERE ARE you" Twilight said racing back into the transporter room trying to find her adoptive little brother only to see a particle column materialize on the pad then only to fade away leaving the purple little dragon in its place.
"Sorry I'm late I got distracted by one of those foo-" He didn't even get to finish as a set of lavender hooves enveloped him and nerly crushed him
"YOU GOOF BALL DON'T EVER EVER DO THAT AGAIN" Twilight yelled as she let spike go who quickly started panting heavily to not die due to almost being choked to death.
"If everyone is now accounted for shall we proceed?" Sarcon asked seeing that the young drake was reunited with his family
"Yes please MR Sarcon" Nyx said as she head down the corridor after Sarcon the rest of the ponies following suite.
"Admiral if I may ask what will we be seeing this time" Celestia asked having started to eye the multiple Andorians, Tellarites, Saurian's and other species moving about the ship who were also staring back at her and the rest of the ponies.
"Unlike a Romulan vessel you will see a greater amount of diversity through out the crew, all of the vessels in Starfleet have citizens from every major member world within the Federation.
"Wait Starfleet what's that?" Cadence asked
"Starfleet is the main exploratory and peacekeeping force for the Federation" Sarcon said "When during a time of war Starfleet will double as the Federation's 'navy' should the need arise"
"So does this mean this ship is built for war" Nyx asked having climbed on Twilights back so that she would be able to see everything better since everything she had seen on the T'lava was taller than she was.
"Yes unfortunately, the Dawnstar is a Presidio class battlecruiser however, most classes of starships that are ooperated by Satrfleet are not built for but, for science and exploration" Sarcon replied to Nyx.
"But why is this one made for war?" Cadence asked
"It was during the war with the Klingon Empire that the Dawnstar was built, nor did I take command until after the cease fire had been declared official" Sarcon said as they made they way to a turbo lift.
" While on board I believe you will be noticing many of the differences between a Federation ship and a Romulan ships" Sarcon as everyone managed to squeeze into the turbo lift.
"Bridge" Sarcon said receiving the automated acknowledgement from the ships computer through a electric beep enaging the lift drive sending the lift upwards fifteen deck in a matter of seconds, before arriving and the doors opening revealing the sheer difference in the size of the Dawnstar bridge compared to the of a non Federation ship
"Whoa now this place be bigger than when we was on the T'lava" Applejack said with a whistle of amazement as she took in the size of the bridge.
"Admiral thank god your okay" Kolez said as he strolled up to the group a look of concern and irritation on his face.
"There something ya don't see everyday" Rainbow Dash whispered to twilight upon seeing Kolez
"Something you wish to Report Kolez" Commander Flores asked
"Your damn right there is sir, I want to know whose bright idea it was to almost smash the T'lava into our ship" Kolez said through clenched teeth, his fists clenched tight
"Eh heh heh" Pinkie aid as she hung her head in shame nothing she had messed up greatly
"YOU" Kolez practically yelled at her "Do you know how close you came to killing us all"
"Kolez that is quite enough she was told the error of what she has committed when we were still aboard the T'lava" Sarcon said is he usual monotone voice whilst trying to calm the angered saurian down.
"Fine I'll let it go but anywhere she goes she'll have a security escort" Kolez said as he went back to his station
"What in tarnation was his problem?" Applejack asked as she comforted Pinkie
"Forgive Lieutenant Commander Kolez, he's the chief of security as well as my tactical officer, as such he can be quicker to jump into a situation if he believe any member of the crew myself included is in danger" Sarcon replied
"Oh w-well I just wanted to see what the buttons did" Pinkie said her mane losing its puffed up appearance going straight and flat.
"Its understandable but, from now I ask that you ask what something onboard dos before you start touching it" Sarcon said which seemed to re assure Pinkie causing her mane to spring back up to its cotton candy appearance
"Okey Dokey Lokey" Pinkie chimed while smiling which for some reason sounded like a squeaky toy for a pet
"Um Mr. Sarcon sir a-are there any animals on board I didn't see any when we were on the T'lava a-and its made me sad, I mean seeing Mr. kitty was nice but I wish there were other animals t-to see If its okay" Fluttershy managed to squeak out
"I believe I may have a solution to your request Fluttershy" Sarcon said before whistling and a small yip like reply being heard before a small cat like animal with a black coat and pink eyes ran out of the ready room and stopped once it saw the ponies.
Fluttershy looked like she was about to burst once she laid eyes on it "Its so CUTE" She squeed as she practically jumped towards it
"I must agree with Fluttershy it is absolutely adorable" Luna said "But what is it?"
"Allow me to introduce you to Nexus" Sarcon said "As for what she is, she is my pet Risian Lunarian Caracal, a feline species native to the Risa System" Fluttershy was metaphorically drooling over the caracal having met a new animal she couldn't contain her excitement.
"Its so cute" She cooed "Your so soft and fuzzy aren't you" As she started to pet Nexus who leaned into the caresses purring in approval.
"Looks like ya found yer self a new friend Fluttershy" Applejack stated as she snickered at the interaction between the two. Nexus then look towards the remaining ponies, moving her gaze from one to the other before slowly walking up to them. The first pony Nexus chose to investigate was Rarity who seemed bit hesitant at letting a new animal come near her.
"Arent you precious, your just like my cat opal just with out cutting pieces of my mane off with your claws" Rarity said as she scratched Nexues's head causing her to purr in appreciation. the rest of he interactions between the ponies and the celestial sisters were similar however when Nexus got to the CMC she did something that was most unexpected.
"Aww its so fuzzy" Sweetie Belle said as she tried to pet Nexus only for the Caracal to run back into the ready room
"Did weh do somethin wrong?" AppleBloom asked only for Nexus to come running out with a Targ squeaky toy in her mouth and dropping it in front of the four fillies and dragon
"Its wants us to play" Nyx squealed as she picked up the toy in the indigo field of her magic before tossing it across the Bridge, Causing Nexus to go scampering after before coming back with it and dropping it again. The adults both pony and alien except for two Vulcans couldn't help but laugh at the display, only for Twilight to noticed Sarcon and T'vreil's lack of laughter
"un Admiral you don't find this funny?" She asked his lack of laughter she noticed had started to agitate Pinkie since being the Element of Laughter it was Pinkies job to make ponies or the other races of Equus laugh and smile

"WHAT, WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY" Pinkie screamed out her shock "This isn't right I-I need to fix this right now" At that she started what could be considered putting on a one mare circus trying to get Sarcon to laugh but to no avail did it work after about twenty five minutes of not getting him to laugh she collapsed on the floor and sadly stared to cry

"That is the ships armor plating, it s made from the hardest substance in the Galaxy, Neutronium" Sarcon said "No known weapon can cut through it and it covers the more vital areas of the ships such as main engineering were the warp core is"
"Where is such a material found?" Celestia asked
"Neutronium can only be mined from the core of a Neutron star" Sarcon replied "Once it cools it is virtually impregnable to any form of weapon" Luna then made a mental note to learn what a Neutron star was.
'Now that this has been cleared up shall we start the rest of the tour" Sarcon asked the ponies respond with please's and yes
"Very well Commander Flores you have command, and Kolez I shall make sure that Pinkie Pie does not put the ship in danger"
"Understood sir" Kolez replied as Sarcon, Zarva, T'vreil and the ponies headed for the lift

"Well where to begin" Zarva said "The first thing you'll notice is that Starfleet vessels are not powered by an artificial black hole, instead we use a contained matter/anti-matter reaction for power" showing of the warp core, the constant hum and flow of the main conduits showing their well known pulses of blue and red feeding the reaction into the core.
"To control the reaction and not run the risk of a core breach the reaction is control through the use of Dilithium crystals which stabilize the core" Zarva said as she undid a small hatch and pulling out one of the pink crystals, the sight of it causing Spike to start drooling causing some chuckles
"Forgive Spike he normally eats gemstones and I think you made him fall into heaven seeing that crystal" Twilight said as she gave Spike a playful nuzzle to his head
"Um Miss Zarva can I look at that crystal for a second" Nyx asked the Bolian
"Certainly" Zarva said as she pick the black filly up and held her in front of crystal, Nyx took hold of it with her magic flipping it over a few time before a realization hit her, this was the same as the kind of crystal found in the Crystal Empire which had been deemed useless because of how volatile it was when it interacted with magic.
"Put me down quick" Nyx said the crystal still held in her magic as she ran over to Cadence and Shining Armor
"Aunty Cadence, Uncle shiny look this is exactly like those pink Aether crystal you have in the Empire" She said as she showed it to them
"This this is impossible you use this to help power you ships?" Shining asked
"yep though we have to re-crystalize them every now and then even but they still have to be replace and with the amount of mining we do to have a constant supply, unfortunately Dilithium as rather rare some any deposit we find whether its on a planet or asteroid we won't hesitate to start extracting" Zarva said
"Well we have a whole Twenty square miles that is nothing but this crystal and we've never been able to use it, well because when ever we would try to use magic around it, it would well fractured into dust" Cadence said as she gave the crystal abck to Nyx who took it back to Zarva to reinsert it into the core
"Hmmm interesting this could help with your worlds admittance into the federation" Sarcon
"While I speak for Equestria, I do not know about the rest of Equus some of the other nations would see this as a way of making life better other may see it as a way to exploit their neighbors" Celestia said "Not every race of Equus might want to join you some may want rid you from our world "Then I suggest that if your world is to join there will have to be a political summit" Sarcon said
"That may work but then would representatives from the Federation and the Republic be present" Twilight asked
"Correct as well as a representative from the Cardassian union and the Klingon empire" Sarcon replied
"Excuse me but didn't you say you had a war with the Klingon empire?" Rarity "To me it doesn't seem to make sense to have one of enemies on our world"
"Former enemy actually, currently we are a mutual alliance with the Klingons" Sarcon said "Zarva is there anything else you would like to add"
"Certainly beside keeping the ship running as chief Engineer it is my job to requisition the installation of new systems and the repair of replacement or worn out components and over functionality of the ship" Zarva stated
"Thank you Zarva, this way please" Sarcon said as he headed back towards the turbo lift.
"now where are we going?" Nyx asked from atop her mothers back
"To something which Xiramek neglected that is part of a starships, show you on your tour of the T'lava however I surmise that this was intentional as he may have wanted me to show it to you instead" Sarcon said to Nyx
"I do have a question of interest admiral" Rarity asked "When we were aboard Xiramek's ship all of their uniforms were the same yellow color but yours all different why is that"
"The different colors represent the different fields of interest a member of Starfleet may choose, Blue represents science and medicine, yellow is engineering and ship or station operations while red if for weapons, tactical personnel and command" Sarcon answerd
"So what is it we're going to see then' Rainbow Dash demanded crossing her forelegs in irritation
"You'll find out shortly" Sarcon replied back as they filed into the lift
"holodeck one" Sarcon said with the lift taking off towards the holodecks coming to a halt after ten seconds
"What the hey you said it was a surprise" Pinkie said with a pout
"And I intend to make good on that promise" Sarcon said as he entered one of the holosuites "Computer begin new program, create a real time image of Earth from Space"

as the holosuite reconfigured its self the ponies were amazed to see the black and yellow room transform into the view of Earth as if they were in orbit.
"What is this magic" Luna asked in a shocked voice
"What you are seeing is from the use of photons, force field and holomatter to create realistic simulations fro with in the holosuite" Sarcon said "In here anything you have ever wanted came come to life, from view distant stars and planets to viewing historic events as if you attended them"
The ponies were left speechless for this kind of technology to exist was mind boggling. it meant that they could live and fantasies or stories they have ever wanted, however the holodeck brought them back to reality as the room started to dark causing them to look up if fear
"W-What is that" Fluttershy squeaked seeing the strange metal object slowing circling Earth
"That is Earth Spacedock or ESD for short Currently it is one of the largest orbital facility's in the Federation serving as the primary base of operations fro the whole of Starfleet" Sarcon said
"Incredible, how long did it take to build something so immense?" Luna asked for all she knew something like this could have been built in a matter of weeks maybe even a months time
"The total construction time came to a total of thirteen months, twenty five days ,eight hours " Sarcon replied
"Fourteen months how the hay is that even possible" Rainbow Demanded "There's no way you could build something that huge in FOURTEEN MONTHS"
"Miss Dash you are forgetting that the Federation is very advanced including in construction projects and thanks to use of autonomous work drones that help with much of the major building" T'vreil responded.
"No I I didn't think about that" Rainbow said as she came down from her tangent
"Hey, what else can we see can we see a planet that's like, made of ice cream" Pinkie asked hopping up and down somehow having an audible boing present
"I regret to say no such planet exists, however the holosuite can be programmed to see anything" Sarcon said
"Oh how about your planet" Nyx said just like her mother all of this new knowledge she was learning was making her ready to burst at the seams
"That would seem logical" Sarcon said "Computer load the Vulcan system"
Once more the ponies were amazed as the view of earth shifted to show the dessert world of Vulcan
"Is that yer home? it sure don't look like how Earth does" AppleBloom said only to get poked in the ribs by Applejack who scolded her "Sorry" She said
"There is no need to apologize, My home is rather harsh world to have been born on" Sarcon said
"Admiral where exactly where you born on Vulcan?" Cadence asked
"I was born in the city of Naweeth one of the made trade cities it was there I attended the best schools even gaining admittance the to Academy of Science" Sarcon said
"Fascinating and the Academy of Science what is its reputation? Cadence said
"The Academy is the most notable institute on Vulcan, many of our greatest minds have attended it" Sarcon replied
"How fascinating" Cadence said
"Now then I believe you should all be allowed to enjoy the holodeck and what is has to offer" Sarcon said
"Can we mom please, please, please, pleeeeeeaaaaasssseeee" Nyx said as she gave her mother the puppy eyes, and her lip quivered only for Sweetie, AppleBloom and Scootaloo to start coping her. Unfortunately it worked Twilight couldn't help it she wanted to she what else she could learn from just being in the holosuite.
"I'm afraid I have to say yes, because this is all SO AMAZING"Twilight said as she flapped her wings in excitement
"YAY" all four of the Fillies cheered, the rest if their friends and family giggled at their display of enthusiasm.
"Very well we multiple suites available for each of your use" Sarcon said. The ponies that wanted to stay in the current suite included Luna and Twilight whom both were shown how to engage new programs that to the voice activation features of 25th century technology and literally created a library the size of Twilights castle while the rest exited it and were directed to the remaining suites for their entertainment. Rainbow dash found it quite exhilarating as she raced some of the fastest aircraft built by humanity. Applejack and Fluttershy shared a suite learning the different crops grown on Federation worlds while Fluttershy couldn't contain herself as she met many new animals friends even if they weren't real. Shining armor and Cadence were exploring the Klingon Capital City known as First City, Celestia, well lets say that even thought they weren't real she was enjoying the fact she was able to try so many different types of cakes from across the galaxy.
With the four fillies and one dragon well that's were things got mischievous. Despite clearly enjoying the program that had been loaded for them, the four fillies could not help themselves to want to see what the weapons in the armory did and for three of them to try and earn their cutie marks.
"Come on Uncle Spike it'll be fun" Nyx said as she tried to persuade her uncle to go with them

"Yeah when we had someone in there with us" Spike countered "just don't come running to me if you get caught" with that the four fillies headed for the exit. Once outside they made sure there was nobody around before heading for the turbo lift, unfortunately they only had a vague idea of how it worked.
"How do we get this here elevator to work?" AppleBloom asked
"I got an idea" Sweetie Belle chimed "remember how the Admiral got it to go anywhere was by asking the computer"
"alright lets try it" Nyx said "Hey computer, where's the armory?"
"Deck twelve section nineteen"
"Awesome lets go" Scootaloo said as they jumped into the lift
"Deck twelve please" Sweetie Belle said causing the lift to shoot up five decks in only ten seconds. Once out side of the lift the fillies then ran into another problem, they had made it to deck twelve but the Dawnstar was so large the didn't know which way lead to the armory.
"Oh poop I thought this would have been easier" Nyx said as she let out a snort of irritation, then a light bulb went on in her head "Wait a minute lets just have the computer tell us were it is"
"That or we just go through that door that says "Armory on it" Sweetie Belle said as she pointed her hoof towards the indicated door
"Or we could do that" Nyx said as she blushed from the embarrassment
"Oh don't feel bad Nyx, if it was that close we probably would a found it in no time" AppleBloom said as she continued to walk towards the armory only to walk straight into the door with a loud bonk
"OW What in tarnation why did the darn doors open" AppleBloom said as she rubbed her muzzle to try and relieve the pain
"Maybe that's a password" Scootaloo said as she point to the small control panel next to the door
"Maybe if I try this" Sweetie said as her horn glowed gold and a similar effect enveloping the panel. She then willed her magic and started punching in numbers for a few minutes while Nyx, AppleBloom and Scootaloo kept and eye out for any members of the crew that might see them.
"Got it" Sweetie said as a pneumatic hiss answered her cheer of victory as the doors slid open. The four fillies hurried inside letting the door close. as the looked around the room the lay out was similar to that of the T'lava's armory except that the Dawnstars included a live firing range.
"Well girls pick your choice" AppleBloom said as she started to browse the rack of weapons settling for a Phaser split beam rifle, however when she was looking it over she discovered that there was an opening foe a power pack located in the stock
"Any one here know where ah can find the part that fits in this slot" AppleBloom asked her friends looking around the noticed a few crates stacked against one of the walls.
"Maybe the parts we're missing are in those" Scootaloo said as the started opening the crates pulling out various sized power packs and power cells, till there was a small pile of each size on the floor. Each of them started taking different packs and started to try to find the right sized one that would fit the weapons they had.
"Got it" Scootaloo said as she got the pack into the pulse wave gun she had, noticing a small slide on the underside of the forward grip pulling it back the pulse wave started to make a small hum as it as it instantly reached full charge. moving to the firing range she set it up so that she was supporting it with her fore hooves as she took aim. the moment she pulled the triggered a cone of bright neon orange flew out the end of the barrel scorching the target while the kickback sent Scootaloo into a reverse summersault.
"Ow ow ow ow" she said as she shook her self off "I don't like this one she said as she set it against the wall Sweetie choose to go next testing the Phaser compression pistols she found, thanks to being a unicorn she was able to use her magic to hold them and not worry about being sent flying. As she took aim she unleashed bolt after bolt of pure energy burning holes into the target in front of her shooting lane. With a big smile on her face she trotted back to her friends, however her enthusiasm was replaced with shocked as AppleBloom hit three targets at once thanks to the split beam rifle's secondary fire mode which would split the between apart depending on the number of targets the could be seen
"My turn" Nyx said as she hefted the Phaser blast cannon she had taken hold of with her magic. When her target appear she fired letting loose a large bolt the size on fifty millimeter tank shell hurtling down range before impacting against the opposite wall with a loud bang. unbeknownst to them their activity hadn't gone unnoticed the moment Nyx's shot hit the wall it had triggered a silent alarm, alerting Kolez who was still on the bridge during this escapade.
Back at the holodeck
"Kolez to Admiral Sarcon" Kolez called over the ships internal comm systems
"Sarcon here" Sarcon said as he taped his comm badge
"Sir I'm reading weapons fire coming from the armory on deck twelve" Kolez replied
"Can you identify who is in there" Sarcon said
"It looks like the four equine children that came aboard with you" Kolez
"Understood I shall gather their older siblings and mother to deal with correct punishment" Sarcon said as he made his way to each suite to gather the fillies older siblings and mother.
"Is there a problem Admiral?" Twilight asked
"Unfortunately there is, it would seem that your younger siblings and daughter have managed to find the armory and seem to have started to test the weapons housed with in it" Sarcon said
"Say what, AppleBloom when ah get done yer goin ta be grounded for at least a year" Applejack growled through her teeth
"I assure you that we can have this situation resolved in a peaceful manner" Sarcon countered "If we are to prevent them from being harmed I suggest that we hurry" Heading to the lift and a quickened pace Sarcon and the ponies hurried to deck twelve.
Mean while in the Armory
"So what ones haven't we tried yet" Sweetie asked but was interrupted
"Would you mind tell us what's goin on here" Applejack said the sudden surprise causing the four fillies to whip around in shock to see four unamused mares and one Vulcan standing behind them
"Nyx Sparkle Do you have any idea would could have happened if you got hurt" Twilight said with an angry growl towards the black Alicorn filly, under the surface she was glad her little girl wasn't hurt. Nyx how ever knew she was in big trouble, her ears folded back against her had and she hung her head in shame
"I I'm sorry mom we-we wanted to see what all these fancy weapons did" Nyx said as she apologized
"We're sorry too" the rest of the Crusaders said
"Your apology is appreciated but, I can not allow to be in the armory any longer, I ask that you please return to the holodeck were you can stay out of potential danger" Sarcon said. The four fillies agreed and headed back towards the lift with their elder and Sarcon in tow.
The next hours went by with out any incident. by the time it was nearing nine pm many of the ponies and the fillies had started to dose off thanks to the need for sleep starting to over take them. To make it easier of traveling back to the Equus's surface, they had all been given guest quarters onboard. Thankfully Luna and Celestia lowered the sun and raised the moon, much to T'vreil's amazement, she made a mental note to study this more thoroughly in the morning
Twilights Quarters
"So from now on what are we going to do if we want a piece of technology explained?" Twilight asked as she climbed onto the bed followed by Nyx, while Spike had opted to sleep on the sofa.
"We asked but look with out touching" Nyx answered as she jumped onto the bed using her wings to give her a boost bringing Smarty pants with her, which Pinkie had pulled out of her mane causing Sarcon to not even want to question it.
"Perfect" Twilight said as she unfurled one of her wings, prompting Nyx to snuggle up to her. The young filly curled up next to her mothers side feeling a warm feathery wing draped over her as Twilight curled up next to her.
"good night mommy" Nyx said with a yawn as she held smarty pants close and drifted off to sleep
"Good night Sweetheart" Twilight said as she planted a soft kiss on her daughters forehead before drifting to sleep
In light of the discovery of the Pegasus named Rainbow Dash achieving warp speed, we have learned of the similarities the ponies share with humanity. there is only one possible answer to this riddle and this must be the doing of the Preservers whom all sentient humanoid life have to thank for existence. Despite a minor incident concerning four of the ponies children this shall truly be the greatest discovery of the century. It is unfortunate that if I am asked of the current war with the Iconians there may be no solution in avoiding this topic for this world is far to young to be drawn into a war on the scale that we are fighting

Onboard the Dawnstar, The ponies were starting to awake. Despite the small incident in the armory the previous day the only one who had any resentment was Kolez but seeing that no one had been injured or harmed he quickly simmered down.
As Sarcon took the lift down to deck six where the ponies were staying in their guest quarters he mulled over his plan on introducing them to V'ty the preserver who was staying on board, the similarities of Earth and Equus III could only be answered by her. As the lift doors slid open Some of the ponies had already started coming out.
"Good *yawn* morning Admiral" Celestial said as she slowly made her way over towards Sarcon
"I trust your sleep was adequate?" Sarcon asked
"Yes it was, but I could go for a cup of coffee" Celestial said with a tired smile "Good Morning LuLu sleep well"
"Yes" the lunar princess said "Though I would like something to wake me up the bed in my quarters was too comfortable" earning a chuckle from her older sister. only for Applejack to come around the corner with not a hint of still being tired
"Mornin" Applejack said
"good morning Applejack have you been up very long" Luna asked
"Only for about an hour went to the lounge after ah asked were it was an got me some fritters fer breakfast" Applejack replied as she readjusted her Stetson. "Though I got ta ask what da ya plan on doin once we get back to Equestria" only then did she realize what was wrong
"Oh horseapples I fergot to tell granny where we was going oh no oh no oh no" Applejack said as she started to panic only to feel a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"I believe you grandmother will understand if you explain yesterday's events to her" Sarcon said
"Ah guess yer right hehe guess ah over reacted a little" Applejack said having been reassured. by the majority of the ponies were awake albeit still groggy.
"Ugh good morning everypony" Rarity said still trying to straighten out her mane
"Morning" Came the reply from everyone present. the sounds of opening doors revealed Shining and Cadence the latter having not put on her regalia
"Well good morning Cadence and Shining Armor, did you have a pleasant night" Rarity asked
"We sure did it was different sleeping in space but it was quite relaxing" Cadence said "Where's Twilight and Nyx?"
"They have yet to wake though I believe that shan't be much longer" Luna said even she had for gone the option of putting her regalia on as well having wanted to start the morning off casually. after another fifteen or so minute Twilight finally came out her mane still slightly wet from having washed it, a still partly asleep Nyx on her back and Spike bringing up the rear.
"Good *yawn morning everypony" Twilight said "Morning Shiny morning Cadence"
"Morning sleepy head" Shiny said to Twilight giving her a hug "How was it last night"
"Good" Twilight said "I think someone enjoyed it rather well" as she motioned towards Nyx still only the tiniest bit asleep still holding Smarty pants in her fore hooves
Chuckling Shining nuzzled his niece "Come on Nyx can't go back to bed it's breakfast time" Shining said as he ruffled her mane
"Okay uncle Shiny, I just slept so great" Nyx said with a slight whine earning a chuckle from everyone save for Sarcon. the sound of growling bellies alerted them to the fact many had not yet had breakfast.
"It would seem logical for use to have breakfast before continuing our day" Sarcon said "Would you agree Celestia"
"I most certainly do its never good to start out on and empty stomach" Celestia said with a warm chuckle
"Very well, I have wish to invite you to have breakfast with me in the officers dining room" Sarcon said
"High wonderful" Luna said with joy "Come Tia let us feast" Striking a dramatic pose causing every one to laugh

"I must say this is rather elegant" Rarity said as she surveyed the room from her chair eyeing the Federation flag hanging on the wall at the far end of the room
"that is most appreciated miss Rarity even on board a starship do we still believe in comfort" Sarcon said " Tea Earl grey hot" He said to the replicator creating the cup of tea for him. Noticing some of the ponies still having the affects of sleep still lingering he quickly ordered a few more
"I believe this may help in relieving any drowsiness you still have" Sarcon said as he went around giving each of the ponies who need a cup of tea even to give Nyx one
"What kinda tea is that" Sweetie Belle ask as she glanced at Nyx's cup
"It is Earl Grey a very well liked kind native to Earth I can honestly say a cup can help to start off anybody's day" Sarcon said
Taking a sip those who had cups of the tea practically fell head over hooves for, having never tasted tea as amazing as what she had in front of her Celestia practically blurted out her opinion on the tea
"Sweet sunshine this tastes wonderful" She said just shy of the Royal Canterlot voice, before blushing as she giggled with her friends at her reaction.

"unfortunately Eighteen crewmembers lost their lives though the ship was beyond salvaging" Sarcon said stopping to take a sip of his tea "Later the same year the Enterprise E was commissioned being one of the new Sovereign class cruisers, Captain Picard would also command this ship along with much of the Enterprise D's former crew"
"So fascinating" Luna said "But what became of the Enterprise E?"
"After his retirement, one of his former first officer's Commander Data took command as captain serving as captain until 2408" Sarcon said

"Unfortunately no, The Enterprise had been sent to investigate the lose of contact with Starbase 236" Sarcon said "It was instead an ambush by the Undine a species which dwells in a separate dimension from our own"
"that don't sound so well nice ah guess" Applejack said
"You are correct Applejack, the Undine out numbered the Enterprise three to one but, Captain Data stood his ground, inflicting heavy loses on the Undine ships before being forced to abandon ship" Sarcon "However this was not the end of the Enterprise, in May of last year The Enterprise F was launched, she is a New Odyssey class Vessel commanded by captain Va'kel Shon of the Andor system"

"I have, he is a strong commander always looking out for those under his command, never to hesitate to fight for freedom and justice" Sarcon said "Now I due believe we came here for breakfast, so shall we commence"
At this the ponies started calling out the various foods they wanted, oddly enough Pinkie chose to eat a five layer cake, managing to eat it all in one bite much to Sarcon's surprise as she was clearly defying the laws of physics time and again. mid way through the rest of the senior officers joined them. Kolez deliberately sat next to Pinkie who coward away thinking he was going to start going off at her again only much to everyone's surprise he instead apologized for his actions the previous day. After this turn of events a few of the Mane 6 started to retell some of their adventures they have had in the past year starting with the defeat of Nightmare Moon, the birth of Nyx, the changeling invasion even the battle with Tirek. Those who were not of Vulcan origin found some of their tales to be quite funny especially when the story was being told by the fillies.
A few hours later and with their bellies full, many of the ponies started asking about they would be doing for the day.
"Are we going to learn more about your cultures and technology?" Twilight asked flapping her wings in excitement
"Actually quite the opposite, I believe it to be logical if in fact we were to learn about your world today" Sarcon said "since there is so little that we know of it I, believe it is logical to explore it"
"I think this would be fascinating what do you think Luna?" Celestia sked her sister
"I think it shall be exciting but there is still the matter of having left Canterlot during the middle of court" Luna replied "The nobles will be furious"
"Oh let them groan and run around panicking, they can live a day with out me being around" Celestia said earning a giggle from her sister and every other pony.
"Very well but, first I must report to my commanding officer and I wish for you all to meet him" Sarcon said earning a look of confusion from the ponies.
"Oh well then I shall be right back" Luna said disappearing in a flash of azure light before returning with hers and Cadence's regalia
"Thank you aunty better to look right for a first time meeting" Cadence said earning a chuckle from her husband as she put it on.
"If you are ready, come with me" Sarcon said exiting the dining room and heading for the turbo lift. even though they were only two decks below the ridge the ride was still fun for the ponies. Once on the Bridge they were still amazed by the advanced technology surrounding them
"Sir your here, we have a priority message from ESD" Kolez said
"On screen" Sarcon said the image of Admiral Quinn and Admiral Kererek both appearing on screen
"Sarcon good to - what in the name of the Great Trill is that" Quinn said as he pointed towards the ponies via the view screen.
"Admirals allow me to introduce some of the native of Equus III" Sarcon said as he gestured towards the ponies "To begin we have Princess Celestia co-ruler of the nation of Equestria and raiser of the sun"

"My this is truly a remarkable thing, while I am surpised at the existence of unicorns and now Pegasi, Princesses I am afraid I am unfamiliar with what you are" Quinn said

"Well then I see you've made great Progress here Sarcon, I have passed the reports from Xiramek on to president Okeg and he will be sending the to Chancellor J'mpok" Quinn "Who knows maybe the Klingons will send their own diplomat to view this new world, until then I've order some of the Federation ships in the surrounding sectors to head for you location, the first of them should arrive within five and a half hours I advise you to expect a few Romulan ships as well"

"Good luck to you Sarcon, and it was a pleasure to met you all Quinn out" Quinn said before closing the channel

"What Admiral Quinn meant is the Starfleet vessels that are near will becoming here to study your world" Sarcon said "What you have told us of your world defies everything we have ever discovered or learned and yet this is what will make studying your world that much more fascinating"

"Someone very special and very old I ask the none of you especially you Pinkie to not touch anything in her quarters do I make my self clear?" Sarcon asked a chorus of nods was given as they approached the doors before chiming to control panel
"Enter" a melodic sounding voice said, opening the doors the ponies saw many strange object decorating the room including a greenish yellow obelisk about two feet tall.
Coming out of a small side room came a being that the ponies did not recognize, but to Sarcon this was an ancient one. One of the last Preservers the eldest race in the galaxy.
"Greetings my Child, have you brought some new guest for me to meet" She asked noticing the ponies
"I have Ancient one these are some of the natives of Equus III, I brought them to you so the could see who may have helped to create the races that now inhabit their home" Sarcon said
"Hello my children I am pleased to meet you" She said
"Thank you but, if I may asked what is your name" Twilight asked this being seem strange she was very friendly and yet still a mystery, why did she refer to her friends and family as her children.
"Inquisitive you are, I am V'ty one of the last of my race" V'ty said only to receive the looks of shock and sadness especially from Fluttershy
"OH oh you poor thing" Fluttershy said as she floated over to V'ty and gave her a hug
"Hush child there is no need to be saddened even though my people are few there is still hope that we will endure" V'ty said

"Then lets us be off" Luna said taking a dramatic pose making Celestia giggle at her sisters display bee she started laughing herself.
"It would seem our course of action has been decided, to the transporter room then" Sarcon said followed closely by the ponies. Heading to the lift and down several more decks before they arrived at a familiar room.
"Energizing now sir" O'leron said as he initiated the transport sequence locking to the transport beam coming from the T'lava before it formed on the pad before revealing Xiramek standing there with a smile on his face and holding a small container with small holes in it
"It is agreeable that you chose to join my friend" Sarcon said as he accepted a hand shake form Xiramek
"I wouldn't miss the opportunity to explore a new world and from what I have learned your reports, to learn of so many races once thought to be the stuff of legend" Xiramek said
"Thank you admiral, though to convince the rest of Equus my sister and I will have to call for a meeting of the other nations leaders many of them are close friends of ours but some are not the most friendly types" Luna said
"That won't be a problem Luna diplomacy is something that takes all forms whether good or bad" Xiramek said "We'll have to work through it together"

"To put tin bluntly when they arrive in the system there is a possibility they may send a small fleet or only one ship, however when you meet the Klingon representatives be very careful that you do not insult their honor, for that is the one thing the Klingons hold most dear to them" Xiramek said
"Why, what in Equestria would happened if we didn't" Rarity

"Say hello to Ta'lua my pet Epohh" Xiramek said as the epohh began to scurry around the room towards the ponies.. Fluttershy glomped at cuddling it which it seemed to like, the display of playing continued for a few more minute before Xiramek put Ta'Lua back into her carrier
"If everyone's questions have been answered shall we move to the shuttle bay so that we may return to the surface" Sarcon said
"Certainly" Celestia said
"Hang on just a second, Pinkie do you have a quill and some parchment with you?" Twilight asked the hyper active party pony
"You betcha I do" Pinkie said as she pulled a quill, an inkwell an a roll of parchment out of her mane.
"Mom watcha need that for" Nyx asked
"Oh now don't tell me there isn't a pair of ponies you always like to visit when we're in Canterlot" Twilight said with a smile and a raised eyebrow
"You mean?" Nyx asked getting all excited
"Uh-Huh I'mma sending a letter to Mom and Dad to have them meet us at Canterlot Castle" Twilight said
"Yay I'mma see grandma and grandpa" Nyx cheered as she bounced around her mother earning a chuckle from everyone minus Sarcon as they watched the little fillies display of joy.
"I take it she enjoys the company of her grandparents?" Xiramek asked Twilight as he gestured to the excited filly
"Oh you don't know the half of it, heck even after she was tricked into becoming Nightmare Moon my parents still loved her the same" Twilight said
"Can we a go now, ah need to explain ta granny why we wasn't home last night" Applejack said as she rubbed the back of her head
"Certainly Xiramek I assume you have arranged for a shuttle to transport us back to the surface" Sarcon asked
"I have, Tovan should be arriving in the next few minutes" Xiramek replied
"then I suggest we move to the shuttle bay so that we can remain on schedule" Sarcon said "Shall we proceed a chorus of nods was given as they followed Sarcon to the lower decks to the Dawnstar's primary shuttle bay, entering the ponies immediately saw the many differences between a Federation built vessel and that of one with Romulan origins, notable differences were that instead of having a green color effect due to the choice in lighting color the shuttle bay was illuminated by standard white lights giving it a more natural appearance.
"Attention Shuttle now arriving please stand clear" came the automated announcement from the computer as the bay doors where opened and Tovan's shuttle guided in via the tractor beam, before settling down on the deck plates. the doors opening with a wirring from the motors as the hatch/stairs lowered to the floor.
"Permission to come aboard" Tovan asked
"Granted" Sarcon replied
"Everything ready Tovan" Xiramek asked
"Yes sir" Tovan replied "Ready to leave when you are"
"Shall we my friend?" Xiramek asked to Sarcon
"Affirmative let us venture into the unknown and see what awaits" Sarcon said as he boarded the shuttle
"Come Luna let us go and see how the court shall react" Celestia said whilst giving her sister a wink
"This is going to be fun" Luna said giggling like a mad pony. as everyone/pony settled into the seats, while Xiramek secured the pet carrier to the floor with the built in magnetic clamps, however one pony couldn't help but wonder. Fluttershy looked out the view port as the shuttle gently lifted off the floor and slowly exited the shuttle bay gliding through the empty expanse. Racing through her mind she wondered many things. What would happen if Equs were invaded, would the Federation and republic come to their aid? or if Equus was in danger of dying would they help every race on the planet find a new home?. only someone else had noticed the change in her demeanor.
"Somethin wrong Flutters" Applejack asked
"It's just well what if something bad happens to our world w-what if another race from a-another planet w-wanted to take it over?" Fluttershy said
"Miss Fluttershy, if that were to ever happen, with you planet being with in Federation space I can assure that we would come to your aid" Sarcon said
"Thank you admiral, I remember what you said about the galaxy being an often cruel place, though in the single day we have known you has shown me there is still happiness within it" Celestia said
"Thank you for that regard princess, if there is one thing the federation believes in, it is that all people's all races can be united" Sarcon
"I hate to interrupt but seeing as how we are about to re-enter the atmosphere, is there any danger we should worry about?" Rarity asked
"not really all though I can proudly say you'll get to see what re-entry looks like" Tovan said "I'll polarize the viewscreen but, you'll still be able to see what It looks like" as he started his approach towards Equus polarizing the main view port so the intense light generated by re-entry wouldn't harm the ponies eyes, a cone of super heated plasma started to envelope the shuttle casting an orange glow on the interior as as quickly as it happened it was over within a few minutes.
"That was Awesome" Scootaloo shouted throwing her hooves in the air. Fluttershy was cowering her seat scared half to death from the experience.
"Its okay Shy see we're fine" Rainbow said as she placed her hoof on Fluttershy's shoulder giving her some reassurance.
"Can ya stop by Ponyville fer a sec ah need ta let Granny Smith know what was goin on yesterday" Applejack asked
"Certainly" Tovan said as he reoriented his course towards Ponyville. The entire trip thanks to how advanced our visitors technology is nly took less then ten minutes surprising even Celestia.
"Over there that farm outside a town" Applejack said as she guided Tovan where to go landing a few yards from the Apples home only things were a bit off
'That's odd" Applejack said
"Is something the matter" Xiramek asked
"yeah usually granny is out in her rockin chair and Big Mac is come back from buckin some trees but, they aint here" Applejack said only to be started by a loud yet raspy war cry
"Bonzai" an elderly voice yelled "You varmint's get yer ugly selves away from mah grand foals ya hear" the owner of the voice was none other than granny smith wearing a tin bucket on her head and brandishing a pitch fork.
"Granny it's alright they aint done nothin to us we're fine" Applejack said
"Ah'll be the judge of that" Granny retorted "No good varmint's tryin to foalnap ma grand foals well no sir"
"Granny Smith we are perfectly fine" Celestia said to the overreacting mare. spinning around Granny saw the princesses standing there and was placed in a bewilderment.
"B-but ya c-came outta this whatsit with these here strange things how do ah know ya aint had somethin done to ya" Granny replied
with s soft giggle Celestia lowered he self to be eye level with Granny Smith
"Allow me to show you what has happened" Celestia said as she touched the tip of her horn the Granny's forehead, playing back everything that had transpired the day beforebefore removing leaving Granny Smith standing with a blank stare as her mind processed.
"W-well ah'll be ya mean Rainbow Dash here gone and flown at the speed ah light, never thought such a thing would be possible" Granny said "Looky here ah guessin ah owe ya an apology, since ma grandbabies didn't come home last night me an Big Mac been worried"
"Apology accepted Ms. Smith" Sarcon said
"Now don't ya go callin me somethin fancy Granny Smith will do just fine" Granny said in a much happier and less hostile voice "Big Mac ya can come out from behind the hay bale now" for said mentioned stallion to come from his hiding place pulling one of the catapults they used to launch pumpkins during Nightmare Night only loaded with apples instead.
"Was he really going to fire apples at us" Xiramek asked
"Eeyup" Came Big Mac's reply as he put the catapult in the barn and put the apples into a few buckets.
"not much conversation is he" Sarcon asked Applejack
"Sometimes he's more talkative once he gets ta know ya, aint ya Big Mac" Applejack
"That ah am" Big Mac replied earning a chuckle from his sisters and Grandmother
"since the matter has been taken care of shall we continue?" Luna asked
"Ah don't see why not seein as that we was able to let granny know we're okay" AppleBloom said
"Alrighty then now if you is going to have my granddaughters with ye, ah expect you ta take good care of them" Granny said to Xiramek and Sarcon
"You have not a thing to worry about Granny Smith we shall make sure they remain safe" Sarcon said "Xiramek my friend shall continue this 'adventure'"
I think that would be most logical" Xiramek said "Granny Smith, Big Mac it was a pleasure to meet" giving them a bow before stepping into the shuttle followed by tovan and the ponies, only for Sarcon to stop and do something that Xiramek recognized but the ponies did not. Raising his right hand and forming the v shape with his fingers.
"Live Long and Prosper" He said before climbing aboard closing the hatch behind him only to see the ponies him a puzzled look.
"What they hay was that?" Rainbow Dash asked
"What I preformed was the traditional Vulcan fare well" Sarcon replied "i know our traditions may still seem somw what strange to you and for that I take no offense"
"Hmmm different for a fare well but yet something new to behold" Luna said earning agreement from the others
"I shall take that as a compliment Princess for which I thank you" Sarcon said taking his seat
"Admiral Xiramek if I may, I can direct towards Equestria's capitol, my sister and I have some formal matters that we left incomplete due to yesterday's events" Celestia said
"Certainly but there is no need for the formality at this moment so please call me Xiramek" He replied
"Fair enough, Mr Khev was it you see the mountain ahead of us" Celestia asked as she point to Canterlot mountain.
"Yes and... wait is that a city built onto the side of it?" Tovan said with a bit of disbelief.
"Yes, that is Cantelot our Capitol and were Luna and I live" Celestia said
"O-kay I'll take your word for it, permission to proceed" Tovan asked
"Granted" Xiramek said "Celestia if I may ask why is your Capitol city built onto the side of a mountain, even I can see that isn't the best choice"
"What makes you think that" Celestia asked
"I believe I may have the answer princess" Sarcon said "From our point of view, while it may give a unique feel to those who reside within, it also leaves the city in great danger"
"How so?" Luna asked
"Well to be honest if another nation were to assault the city and wanted to inflict the most casualties possible all they would have to do is target the base of the city were it's connected to the mountain" Sarcon said
"With enough damage done to the supports the City would fall from the mountain" Xiramek concluded
"I I See however we haven't had to worry about something like that since Equestria's last war eight hundred year ago" Celestia said
"Interesting, Xiramek my friend I believe it would be wise if we ventured to Canterlot seeing as how our new acquaintances wish for us to see it" Sarcon said
"Agreed, Tovan if you would" Xiramek replied
"Aye sir" Tovan said lifting the shuttle off the ground and speeding off towards Canterlot taking just under five minutes thanks to current technological levels.
"That was amazing we arrived in a matter of minutes" Said a shocked Rarity once they had landed abeit with some panic from the guards who quickly relaxed once they saw the princesses were with the new comers
"One of the benefits of being as technologically advanced as we are" Tovan said
"First Celestia and I must head to court since we left during the middle of the morning session, Tia do you think our new friends would care to join us" Luna said
"I don't have a problem with it but many of the nobles might, but it is not their choice of who can petition the court, so yes Admirals will you join us?" Celestia said
"Your thought, Xiramek" Sarcon said
"It could be interesting to say none the least" Xiramek said "Tovan what do you think"
"Worth a shot" Tovan replied
"In that case then, lead on princess" Xiramek said
"Certainly" Luna said turning the head towards the throne room, followed closely by her sister and her friends with Sarcon, Xiramek and Tovan following close behind them. The short walk didn't go with out incident though, the castle staff that was present in the hall started talking in hushed whispers.
"I believe we are being judged" Sarcon said
"It was bound to happen, can you blame them though they have never seen something like us before" Xiramek replied before coming to a pair of massive ornate doors, with what seemed to be aa massive argument could be heard through them.
"Looks like the nobles are already Quick Quill run through the wood works" Celestia said with a sad sigh
"Indeed, sister why they can never be satisfied we may never know" Luna replied as she used her magic to open the doors only the scene before them was not what it seemed. Instead there was a small riot going on before the twin thrones, while situated in one corner was a unicorn couple trying to stay out of the crossfire the mare having a grey coat and alternating purple and light grey mane, while the stallion had a dark blue coat and an even darker blue mane, both looked as if they were deciding whether to stay and wait for the mess to calm down or just leave
"Everypony SHUT UP" Lune bellowed in the royal Canterlot voice causing the practically all the nobles to freeze in place
"WHAT is the meaning of this rioting in our throne room" Celestia asked in an annoyed voice
"I think you know very well why Princess" A Pegasus mare said as she stepped forward
"Oh is it because my former student turned fellow princess has made what could be the greatest discovery in history, Golden glow" Celestia said
"Ha and what would that be" Golden Glow replied "
"The arrival of the very first extraterrestrial being to our planet" Celestia said
"Please we all know this isn't true" A elder unicorn stallion scoffed
"Then believe it with your own eyes" Xiramek said as he walked through the doors making the formers eyes go wide with shock and disbelief
"My friend is correct look and believe that which is true" Sarcon said
"Everypony say hello to Vice Admiral Sarcon of the United Federation of Planets and Rear Admiral Xiramek od the Romulan republic" Cadence said
"Hmmph so what, they aren't even ponies they look more like a bunch of mutant hairless apes" Blueblood said being the one pony everyone who was either from Ponyville or his aunts seeing as how he was such a pain in the ass sometimes
"Hey just be glad that I'm not a Klingon" Xiramek said irritation in his voice
"Oh and prey what would happen if you were?" Blueblood said
"Simple you'd be dead before you hit the ground" Xiramek said
"BlueBlood Xiramek that's enough" Celestia said " Everypony Court shall be cancelled until Tomorrow morning"
A chorus of groans and other indicators, of annoyance as the nobles leave with the only remaining ponies being the princesses and the elements, and the couple in the corner who now have decided it is safe enough to come forward, only for a small black missile to run straight at them.
"Granma, Granpa" Nyx squeals as she skids to a halt and clamps onto their forelegs in a vice grip hug
"Hiya Nyxy" Nightlight says as he returns the hug
"Oh just Look at you you've gotten a little bigger since the last time we saw you" Twilight velvet said as she nuzzled Nyx causing the filly to giggle.
"Hi Mom, Hi dad" Shining and Twilight say together as they both hug their parents
"Hello Nightlight, Velvet" Cadence said as she hugged her in-laws
"how's my girl doing" Nightlight said as he ruffled Twilight's mane
"We're hanging in there, with what happened yesterday this is the biggest thing in history" Twilight replied
"Well don't get over excited mom remember what happened" Nyx said with a giggle
"Why what happened?" Velvet asked becoming concerned as to what happened to her little girl
"Well the thing is you remember when I told you about the time I went through the mirror right" Twilight said as she rubbed the back of her head
"How could we not remember and how you meet a race called humans too" Nightlight commented
"Well the thing is Humans exist in our universe as well, turns out their from a far away planet called Earth and well to put it short we took a medical scan and our bodily functions are similar to theirs" Twilight said
"Come again" Velvet asked
"Yeah I I was shocked too so much I passed out" Twilight said
"Please tell me your okay though?" Nightlight ask
"Mom's okay Grandpa, oh wait come on ya got to meet them" Nyx said as she pulled Nightlight along by his hoof with Velvet following him, until they were standing before the two Romulans and single Vulcan.
"I presume you are the parents of Princess Twilight" Sarcon asked
"We are and I have to admit, I never thought I'd see the day aliens would be on our planet" Night light said
"Believe me we didn't even expect to learn that you had achieved warp capabilities" Tovan said
"Uh warp what?" Nightlight asked
"Perhaps it would be better to explain" Sarcon said. He gave Nightlight and Velvet the full explanation of what warp capabilities are , and how Rainbow Dash had managed to become the first sentient being to be able to travel at such a speed. When they asked what the Federation and Republic were, thankfully Xiramek was able to cover the short history the Republic had since it was still a very new political body, while Sarcon covered the more important part's of the Federations history including the creation of the UFP and the four founding races that came together to create it. All together it took only about two hours to fully explain.
"That's wow" Nightlight said the fact that they lived in a bigger universe than what had originally been believed was quite mind boggling.
"To think that we're the only would with magic and to learn that other world don't have a caretaker of their sun and moons is just so... well strange" Velvet said
"I can see what you mean" Xiramek said "Believe me we were all very surprised when Celestia and Luna raised and lowered both the sun and the moon"
"First I do have a question though" Cadence said "When you were explaining your history you mention a prime directive, perhaps you could elaborate for us what that is?"
"Of course" Sarcon "The Prime Directive is general standing order number 1, which at its core embodies our most ethical principle. the unassisted of developing cultures, which regretfully includes yours"
"So what exactly does it mean?" Luna asked still not understanding the meaning of the prime directive
"It means we cannot assist in the development of your world in any form, including technology, science medical discoveries and development of space worthy vessels" Sarcon replied only for twilight to have a some what saddened look on her face.
"So... you mean you can't share any of the technology and knowledge you have with Equus?" She asked
"Regretfully no, the Republic has taken a similar stance on the matter as well" Xiramek said earning a few sad sighs from Luna, Twilight and Nyx.
"I can understand your frustration and displeasure, we do this for a reason, if we were to give our advanced technology to your word the results could be disastrous" Sarcon
"How so, could we not benefit from your technology and science?" Celestia asked
"More no then yes, at your current level of development there would still be those who would use it to gain power, thus leading to mass violence and possibly the collapse of civilization as you know it" Sarcon said The looks of fear and dread were plastered on everyone of the ponies faces, even the CMC and Spike seemed very scared at what they had heard, the possibility of loosing everything they held der to them being wiped out by some mad pony who believed he could rule over everyone.
"I think I understand know why you have this in place" Shining said "Its not to remain superior to anypony, its to protect them right"
"Correct" Xiramek said "Even today there are races in part of the galaxy that have yet to be explored that are still developing some at a level equal to our own, others maybe at your level of progress and some may just be starting out"
After gaining a better understanding of why such advanced technology would be with held from them, and as how they are ahead of worlds that are in a more primitive state then they are there was a feeling of acceptance from them. for the next couple of hours the royals, our heroes and favorite dragon and fillies took our visitors on a tour of various parts of the castle and city, showing them what made Canterlot great( and why many of the working class within the city hated the nobles, due to them thinking 'commoners' had no place in their city). And, as if running by clock work the first ship started to arrive within the system both Federation and Romulan each sending down their captains/commanders or a representative to meet in Canterlot. The First Captain that was met Rear Admiral Adama commanding the typhoon class battleship Galactica, a fifty year Starfleet veteran, Adama had seen his first tastes of true war during the war with the Dominion during the previous century, with him was his first officer Commander Saul Tigh, both true friends and both being no nonsense officers.
Arriving shortly after was Adama's son Lee captain o the U.S.S. Pegasus a brand new fresh from the yards Yorktown class.
Unlike his father he's more open though a bit quiet when he speaks, this is countered by being a quick thinking tactician, quickly becoming friends with Applejack for a love of the outdoors. However neither Xiramek nor Sarcon had expected that Tiaru Jarok the commander of the R.R.W. Liset the Republics flag ship along with a few other Romulan ships as well all of various classes including the fame D'deridex class
arrived before promptly going planet side via shuttle, introductions and relations with the other commanders went, Luna most of seemed to get along with Jarok the most seeing as how they both wanted to strive for better future. The final captain to arrive was Thomas Lasky captain of the U.S.S. Infinity a Jupiter class carrier
How ever the meeting was cut short very quickly
"Your highnesses Queen Chyrsalis has arrived for the Diplomatic meeting as per your request" A Guard said to the princesses, earning a groan from he Main six and a somewhat angered growl from Twilight. Noticing this Xiramek took the opportunity to investigate
"Twilight is there something you dislike about this Chrysalis" Xiramek asked
"Yes actually she nearly ruined my brothers wedding we see tried to take over Canterlot with her army of changelings" Twilight said with anger in her voice
"Changelings? you have beings from the Gamma Quadrant on your world" Sarcon asked.
"What changelings are from another planet?" Twilight blurted out just as Chrysalis walked through the door
"Well well if it isn't Miss Sparkle, how's your brother doing" Chrysalis said in what could be a friendly voice, before Twilight could react it was Celestia who broke the tension
"Chrysalis thank you for coming, in fact your just in time to meet some new guest we have" Celestia said
"Oh and who are they" Chrysalis said with a small hiss before she saw the strange creatures behind Celestia
"Meet some of Equus's 'neighbor from across the Galaxy" Celestia said as she stepped a side. Sarcon and Xiramek were the former of whom if he had been able to show surprise was shocked to see that Chrysalis was not the type of changeling they were familiar with. instead she resembled a Alicorn yet instead of fur she had a chitin like hide and insect wings.
"W-What is this some sort of joke?" Chrysalis demanded only a small hint od disbelief heard within her voice.
"Tis not a joke they are as real as you and I" Luna said trying to calm the changeling queen. To those who didn't know before Luna's banishment the both Celestia and Luna had been foalhood friends with Chrysalis, however once Luna had been sent to the moon The young queen was devastated at the loss of one of her best friends, when she confronted Celestia she became enraged when she learned that she wouldn't be able to see Luna for a millennia, taking her anger out on Celestia blaming her for what happened and swore that they would never be friends again. Now after a thousand years Luna had sought out Chrysalis who upon seeing Luna for the first time in so long broke down into tears when she saw her friend, though she admitted she may try to be friends again with Celestia or sunbutt as she calls her now time can only hope
"Are you sure of this Luna?" Chrysalis asked in a friendlier tone that what she had used with Celestia
"Very sure Chryssie" Luna said using Chrysalis's nickname causing a small blush to adorn the cheeks of the changeling. Still hesitant Chrysalis none the less introduced herself to the visitors, Sarcon and Xiramek honestly stated that Chrysalis was not what they had imagined as they explained the changeling's they were familiar with are natives of the Gamma Quadrant whose true form resembled a puddle of organic fluid, needless to say the mentioning of that spark some inquiry, leading Sarcon to explain that the Gamma Quadrant changelings are the rules of the political entity The Dominion and are revered as gods by its citizens. However during this exchange of knowledge four fillies noticed one of the potted plants in the corners. the source of the rustling was revealed to be a changeling about their age who when she saw the four sets of eyes looking at her squeak in fear before diving back into the plant.
"Who do ya think she is?" AppleBloom asked
"Don't know maybe we should asked" Sweetie Belle said
"Maybe she's sacred because she never been outside of the hive" Nyx said earning agreement from her friends.
"So lets go and say hi then" Scootaloo said, to which they agreed to heading over to the plant which started to shake furiously, most likely from fear.
"Hello" Nyx said which caused the shaking to stop and the leaves to part revealing a pair of harlequin green slitted eyes.
"W-Who a-are you" She squeaked quickly getting the names of the four fillies
"What's got ya all scared" AppleBloom asked
"T-the p-purple princess" came the reply
"Who my mom she's not scary well, only when she gets mad" Nyx said "HEY you haven't told us your name"
"I'm S-Shiva" Shiva replied fearfully
"Hey what's that matter, why ya so scared?" Scootaloo
"Because of what happened to mama" Shiva said
"Mama?" AppleBloom said only for a sudden realization to hit her " Wait ya mean Queen Chrysalis is yer mom" the only indication of a es was shiva's eyes moving up and down giving the impression of a nod.
"That's wow, so ya mean after what happened at Princess Cadence's and Shining Armor's wedding got ya all scared" AppleBloom said
"Y-yes she had sent a bunch of letters to the big white pony over there but they were always sent back with another saying that the princess has no interest in 'filthy bugs'" Shiva said "W-We're not bugs sure we have chitin instead of fur but we have lives too" through a few tears
"Now who would do something like that Celestia and Luna aren't like, unless there was somepony who didn't want her to get your moms letters" Sweetie Belle said putting a hoof to her chin
"Quick question what were the letters about?" Scootaloo asked
"Mama was trying to see if the Celestia is she c-called could send us a few shipments of love cause we're well as mama called it starving" Shiva said followed by a gurgle from her stomach
"That's so sad, when's the last time you had any love to eat" Sweetie Belle asked a tear in her eye for how sad Shiva's situation was.
"N-not for a few w-weeks" Shiva said, a look of shock and sadness over taking the four fillies.
"WHAT" they all said at once which caught the attention of the adults.
"Girls what wrong" Twilight asked as she trotted over to them
"Mom we were talking to Shiva" Nyx said as she pointed to the set of eye peering from with in the plant "And she said that the changelings are starving and hasn't had any love in a few weeks"
"Yeah she said something about asking Celestia for help only each letter was sent back saying that she has not interest in them and said they are bugs, heck they don't even look like bugs" Sweetie Belle said while Celestia was rather surprised to hear this
"Chrysalis is this true?" Celestia asked
"It is" Chrysalis said with a hiss "Which is why I came to day to see if you had ordered this"
"I assure I did not" Celestia retorted but it did not change the fact that Chrysalis was not buying it
"Then prove you didn't or our deaths will be your fault" Chrysalis said obviously getting increasingly angered, Celestia being the one to always look for a peaceful resolution touched her horn to Chrysalis's playing back her memories from the months before Shining Armor's and Cadence's wedding, through out those few brief seconds Chrysalis found no trace of Celestia ever receiving any of her letters, before it ended
"So if you didn't get my letters then who was reading them and sending them back?" Chrysalis asked
"A good question Chryssie but should we not attend to the young ones hunger" Luna said
"*sigh* yes we should like all mothers I want my little nymph to live a bright life" Chrysalis replied before turning to the bush "Come on its okay you can come out sweetie"
Taking her mothers advice Shiva slowly but surely crept out of the confines of her leafy hiding place, unlike her mother the colored band that wrapped around her barrel on the color section on her back was sky blue instead of emerald greens, standing a little shorter then the CMC.

Approaching her and kneeling the Herald spoke.
"My master probe 06/853/2 has returned with information of the utmost importance" he said with his head bowed low
"Explain what this is" M'tara commander
"Those now as the Federation and Romulan republic who are currently engaging our forces across the quadrant , have come upon the fantasy world which the ancient ones sought to mimic the world designated Earth" The Herald replied
"Hmm what is it that they could have found there that they have become so interested in?" M'tara asked
"A creature native to the planet who's designation is Rainbow Dash who is something known as a Pegasus or winged pony, has achieved warp speed" The Harbinger replied
"Show me the footage" M'tara demanded to which the Herald complied pulling up the video file of Rainbow Dash's demonstration of flying at warp speed, to which M'tara's expression didn't even change.
"They have called for a meeting with the planets varous leaders no doubt to see if they will accept an alliance, the ones have horns on their heads posses what they call magic" the Harbinger said
"Hmmmm increase surveillance on the major population centers and contact the Solanae, have them prepare for data extraction on selected members of the populous" M'tara ordered
"It shall be done master" The herald said turning to exit
"one more thing, have fleets twenty nine and thirty eight on stand by incase, the lesser race find something that will shirt the war in their favor" M'tara said to which the only response from the herald was to bow in acknowledgement. as he left M'tara turned to face the view port gazing upon the tens of thousands of ships within the sphere.
"Soon, Soon we shall once again take our place as rulers of the Alpha and Beta quadrants and then the Galaxy, Nothing shall stand in our way" M'tara said before loosing a spine chilling laugh that reverberated through out the ship

In the week we have spent on Equus III, we have managed to learn a great deal of the native inhabitants and their cultures and societies, from our initial survey teams we've sent across the planet many have returned with stories on intrigue, a prime example is the nations, of Prance, Germaney, and the Hooviet Union bearing names similar to their earth counter parts. However today marks the joint diplomatic meeting between the leaders of this world and those representing the Federation, Republic and the soon to arrive Klingons. I must confess that I desire that these talks to go without incident

In the weeks time since the Arrival of the Dawnstar and T'lava many things had happened, word that other worldly beings had come had spread through out Equestria like wild fire. On one occasion, a human Starfleet officer was suddenly set upon by Lyra heartstrings, who despite what others thought wanted to prove to her marefriend Bon Bon that she wasn't crazy about humans being real, and she asked if she could have his hands thankfully he declined, much to Lyra's dismay. Also during this time Celestia and Luna had wrote to the leaders of the nations across Equus III telling them of what had transpired and called upon them to a summit in Canterlot, though many did not believe it when Celestia and Luna had told hem of what had happened with Rainbow Dash and the attention it had attracted her. Needless to say the conference was going to be broadcasted live via what Twilight called it "Magic powered Television" though the idea had sparked curiosity from some of the captain's and commanders that had arrived the week before thanks to a demonstration on how it worked did they see a similarity to the old televised broad cast of the mid twentieth to mid twenty second centuries, only with be screen quality. continuing with this display, with the report that can from across Equus, Xiramek and Sarcon and the others captains and commanders determined that the technological development of Equus was between that of Earth's medieval period to about the early Twenty first century seeing as how many nations had a varying unicorn populations which seemed to slow technological progress.
Meanwhile, in Canterlot many of the foreign delegates and leaders were constantly arriving via it be airships (which resembled the Zeppelin's of Earth) train or by carriage with those who had to travel greater distances were coming by ship and then seeking an alternate mode of transportation after arriving, while at Canterlot castle the preparations for the arrival of he delegates not to mention the impending arrival of the Klingons the situation could be described as having gone from a place of government to one of complete chaos which is something the Discord would find amusing.
"Well of course I would" a voice said turning the author franticly looked around trying to find the source of the voice only to come face to face with Discord himself

With everything at the castle in chaos and four princesses and one prince trying to keep it in an orderly fashion, despite this chaos still seemed to rein though things were moving forward in a some what timely order. The situation with Chrysalis had improved some what through out the past week, her daughter Shiva was constantly welled fed from the new friends she had made with our four fillies dragon and Fluttershy who found the little nymph to be the cutest thing she had seen in a long time not to mention the extra love that was being released by them was also enough to keep Chrysalis well fed as well as sending what was leftover back to the hive to feed the remaining changelings. through that week chrysalis had opened up some more seeing her child running and playing with the fillies and dragon, the feelings of joy and happiness, told her one thing that those displays were the first step to possible friendly relations between the ponies and changelings. However she had to put more of her attention to who was responsible for none of her letters reaching Celestia and who wanted them to pass into the void, that and hold diplomatic talks with three separate galactic powers. Going back about said fillies and dragon thanks to enough encouraging and the four fillies and one nymph giving what could be considered the puppy eyes they were allowed to attend the meeting.
"Oh where did I put my dress that I wear at political meetings" Luna said out loud trying to make sure she looked presentable for this event since her return she had attended a few political gathering with the other nations and her sister, but never had she in her years had to prepare for something like this.
"I found it Luna" Celestia said as she walked into the meeting hall carrying and elegant dress behind her in her magic
"Thank you Tia" Luna replied as she took the dress and left for her room to put the dress on.
"Ugh this is becoming so frustrating" Celestia said as she rubbed her head with a hoof. "Half the of the food still needs to be prepared barely any of the beverages have arrived and the Delegates and still pouring in"
"Fear not Celestia I believe we may be able to aid you in these matters" Sarcon said as he gave a nod to Commander Flores
"Alright start bringing them in" She said as thirty of the Dawnstar's crew wheeled multiple portable replicators on hover carts
"Princess I believe these may be of help just tell them were to go and they'll handle the rest" Commander Flores said
"Oh thank you commander Dusty please lead them to the kitchens tell the chef they are here to help" Celestia said
"Yes princess, please follow me" Dusty said leading them towards the kitchens with replicators in tow.
"Thank you for this Admiral I shall have to find a way to repay you" Celestia said
"That shall not be necessary, it is only logical that we should assist in the preparations, which brings me to an important matter" Sarcon said
"And what is it?" Twilight asked
"The arrival of the Klingons, in taking precaution I suggest you do not proceed with any type of welcome that you have planned" Sarcon said
"Why, I have arranged for the Wonderbolts to escort their shuttles to the court yard and a royal welcome" Celestia said
"I would not do such a thing, the Klingons are a very proud race, and I fear for you Wonderbolts safety" Sarcon replied
"I do not quite understand what danger could they be in from escorting an ambassador?" Celestia asked
"I believe an example may help to clear any confusion, the last time another race tried to escort the shuttle craft of a Klingon ambassador was the first meeting with the Tal'darim it ended in tragedy" Sarcon said
"What ever happened?" Rarity asked
"The fighter craft that the Tal'darim had sent to receive the Klingon envoy were instead shot down by the Klingon fighter escort" Sarcon said a collective gasp was the response he received.
"Why in Equestria would they do something like that?" Rainbow Dash practically shouted
"To make their position very clear, that the only ones who may escort the Klingons is themselves" Sarcon replied
"I I see I shall have to inform Captain Spitfire of the change in plans" Celestia said will a hint of fear but, only a tiny amount showed
"Princess, the conference room is ready, shall I have the Delegates take their seats?" High standards the senior butler asked
"Of course, that would be wonderful, thank you standards" Celestia said
"As you wish" High standards replied showing the delegates in to the massive room that could literally hold a fully grown dragon
"And please inform Captain Spitfire that they won't be need, take this note with you it'll shall explain why" Celestia continued
"Admiral if I may have a word with you and Xiramek and the other captains in private for a moment?" Celestia asked
"Of course" Sarcon said motion for the other Federation and Republic captains, commanders and admirals to follow before coming to a private study which Celestia beckoned them in quickly before hurriedly slamming the door shut.
"Care to lets us know what this is all about" Captain Lasky asked still not sure as to what Celestia seemed to be worried about.
"I can Captain, this meeting will be the first of its kind as such there is one delegate that has me very worried" Celestia answered
"Mind telling us who that is?" Commander Tigh asked his gruff voice sounding agitated already.
"Of course the one who is most likely to make absurd demands is premiere Red Hammer the current leader of the Hooviet Union, he has been demanding for years know that I surrender control of the sun for years and with the return of my dear sister he is most likely to make even greater to demand to put it as he says o show Equus the superiority of the Hooviets" Celestia said
"A good question is has he arrived yet" Captain Lasky asked
"No not yet which is good which means we have some time to prepare for what ever he tries to do" Celestia said
"I don't think that will be much of a problem" Admiral Adama said "We've dealt with these kind of people before rarely has it ever gone to the point of hostility"
"My Father is right Princess" Lee Adama started off "We'll do our best to keep these talks as peaceful as we can"
"And if it does and it threatens not only your nation but the lives of every republic or Federation officer that currently on your planet we won't take it sitting down" Commander Jarok said adding in her piece of opinion. the thought of two separate societies agreeing to defend their peoples and Equus as well brought a small tear of joy to Celestia's face along with a smile. Sadly the moment was broken by the chiming of Sarcon's comm badge.
"Dawnstar to Sarcon" Came Kolez's voice
"Go ahead Kolez" Sarcon replied as he tapped the badge
"Sir the Klingon Fleet has arrived, I would also like to mention they've arrived six hours early" Kolez said
"Acknowledged, what is the size of the fleet?" Sarcon said
"At least one hundred ships including two Bortasqu' class Dreadnoughts" Kolez said
"Kolez can you identify the dreadnoughts" Xiramek asked via his wrist communicator
"Their the Bortasqu and..... the Kuh'totht " Kolez replied
"Hmm acknowledged Sarcon out" Sarcon said
"I take it you know something of those to vessels?" Celestia sked
"your right Celestia in fact we all do" Admiral Adama said
"The Bortasqu' is the Klingon flagship commander by captain Koren, the Kuh'totht is something that Sarcon is more familiar with" Lee said
"Oh and what is that? Celestia asked the Vulcan
"The Kuh'totht is under the command of Ka'taf the youngest Klingon officer to hold the rank of Dahar master, which the highest rank within the Klingon military, I have personally fought against him a total of eighty seven times during our most recent war with the Klingon empire" Sarcon started off "Though out our encounters in each battle he eventually named me batlh jup jagh 'ej which is Klingon for honored friend and enemy"
"And I take your named him your friend as well?" Celestia asked
"Your are correct Princess" Sarcon replied "We have in the human term grown to respect each other, Ka'taf even admits that he has found me an 'Honorable opponent' when we battled against each other" only for there to be a knock on the door, opening it revealed Dusty peeking through
"Princess, forgive me for interrupting, but the Hooviet Delegation has entered the city" Dusty said

Determined to keep the meeting as peaceful as possible Celestia along with Luna and Twilight who joined once the convoy had come to a stop.
"Red Hammer thank you for coming" Celestia said as she greeted him
"Thank you, Celestia" Red Hammer replied in a not so friendly tone "I hope this meeting is worth my time"
"It shall be , and there is no need to already be angered" Luna said trying to keep the atmosphere friendly. the response from Red Hammer was a harrumph. before heading inside. Though his attitude and demeanor, already had Sarcon and Xiramek worried, someone like Red Hamer would most likely try and demand that the UFP, Republic and Klingons give them access to their technology, luckily they had both already started to formulate separate plans in case of this. Also by this time view film crews belonging to the Canterlot broadcast station, and had started setting up camera and audio reception equipment.

"Alright , lets get started" the mare said as she turned to face the camera "Good after noon Canterlot this is Film strip reporting to you live from Canterlot castle, today I shall being covering the first meeting, between the nation of Equus and three galactic powers" on a separate screen the face of a middle aged stallion could be seen
"Thank you Film strip, is there any thing you can tell us so far on what this meeting is going to be about?" the stallion asked
"Not at the moment Roller , but I'll keep you updated" Film strip said "Plus with this being a live event you'll be getting the news as it happens"

"Yes, you can, can you tell our viewers what these talks are going to be about"
"Sure, since this is the first meeting of this kind on your world, we going to give the run down on how Galactic society runs and were your world may fit into" Lee stated "Another thing is how your will react, which i can see two scenarios happening"
"Oh can you perhaps explain them" Film strip asked
"Certainly, one being that your worlds race will accept what lies beyond your planet and takes a role in Galactic affairs or two the mass population will be frightened and your world my choose to isolate its self and refuse all interaction with outside races, which if you leaders do ask us to leave and never return then we will" Lee said
"Holy Celestia that's just.... wow well.. thanks then mister"
"Adama, Lee Adama" Lee said "Excuse me I think we're ready for the Klingon delegations arrival" leaving a stunned and shocked Film Strip to wonder what the outcome would be. "I believe I shall, in the words of miss Pinkie pie let it be a surprise" Sarcon said, though it didn't take long before there was a loud rumbling heard coming from the sky and the sight of multiple fire balls streaking through the sky before slowing down and heading towards Canterlot. As the ships got closer Commander Tigh pointed out to the news crew the various craft making up the Klingon delegation and its escort which came to include one Dujhod Generals shuttle

"Why so many ships can't they just be satisfied with just one a them" Applejack asked

In his right hand he held a legendary Klingon artifact. The Sword of Kahlees. The first Bath'let. looking around, he looks at the sight before him with a furrowed brow before striding forward at a slow pace . The footfalls of his boots echoing against the stone path way are loud as he makes his way towards the Ponies and those from the UFP and the Republic, before coming to a stop in front of Sarcon.
"Sarcon, Honored friend and enemy" Ka'taf says as his expression turns to that of joy as he extends his hand towards the Vulcan.
"Ka'Taf it is agreeable to see you again" Sarcon said as he grasped Ka'Taf forearm shaking it once
"Hahaha it has been to long my friend and yet here you are making another discovery" Ka'Taf replied "Tell me are these some of this worlds inhabitans?"
"Correct allow me to introduce to you the royal leaders of the nation we stand upon" Sarcon said as he introduced the four Alicorn's though five when he introduced Nyx who stated again in an adorable pout that she isn't a princes earning a hearty chuckle from Ka'taf.
"This child shows spirit, Princess your daughter shall make a fine warrior one day" Ka'Taf said as he saluted Twilight and slightly bowed his head
"Thank you but, I don't know about being in the Royal Guard Nyx may do something else with her life" Twilight said as she ruffled her daughters mane.

However there were more important matters that needed to be discussed, for one where would Equus fit in the galaxy and what would its role be, and how would the whole of Equus react to learning that they are not alone in the universe. Taking theirs seats Sarcon , Xiramek and Ka'Taf each look across the large table seeing many leaders from the different nations as well as many of the Canterlot nobles whom Ka'Taf would most likely be getting acquainted with their stuck up ideals including BlueBlood who seemed to be giving Chrysalis and Shiva a glare that could have been saying I will kill you.
"Shall we Begin" Celestia asked receiving murmured replies of yes. "Very well Then as co-ruler of Equestria I declare the first Galactic meeting is now in session" shortly after Luna took the stand all dressed up in a dress that looked as if her mane had been turned into a gown for the Gala.
"Thank you every pony for coming, at this time, I believe it would be wise if our guests introduced them selves" Luna said "Gentlecolts if you could"
"Of course princess, On behalf of the United Federation of Planets, Romulan Republic, and the Klingon Empire we thank you for allowing us to meet here on your would for the monumental event, through this time I believe we shall be able to help your nations and people find their place in Galactic society" Sarcon said after he traded places with Luna at the speakers stand, earning a round of applause from the planetary representatives as well those from the before mention societies.
"I would now like to start by having us answer what inquiries that you may have" Sarcon said before retaking his seat. Surprisingly it was the delegate from the Zebra Clans who gathered enough courage to speak (No not In rhymes That's for their Shamans)
"The Zebra clans wish to know why you have come to our world and if you plan on invading us?" The Elderly Stallion asked this started a chain of murmuring amongst the others particularly amongst the Canterlot Nobles , BlueBlood included and the Hooviets .
"I believe I can disclose that information, the Primary reason we have come to your world is a young Pegasus mare, Rainbow Dash whom many of you know as the embodiment of the Element of loyalty, has achieve what we refer to as warp speed" Sarcon said as he typed a few commands into his PADD which in turn activate the small holo-projector on the table showing the file footage of Rainbow going warp speed.
"As for the subject of invasion our answer is no, that is something that the Federation of the Republic have viewed as having poor results" Sarcon said "Though I would not put it past the Klingons to do such a thing if your world were instead located within the confines of their empire"
This got a few looks of fear and some of anger that were well directed at Ka'Taf and the rest of his entourage.
"I could see that" BlueBlood said " Especially from a bunch of hairless apes" The last part said with disgust.
"Be careful of what you say, PONY There are still over one hundred Warriors standing outside this very room, each one armed and ready to fight at a moments notice even if it meant killing you should you try anything foolish" Ka'Taf said earn a look of arrogance from Blueblood and some of the other stuck up nobles.

"Under normal circumstances your world would be given the chance to apply for federation membership, however I must regret that I do not this happening in the near future" Sarcon said

"Unfortunately it is not Miss Rarity, there are many requirements to join the Federation the first by either being invited to join or by petitioning the Federation council" Sarcon said "After either of these have occurred then the process of membership admittance begins"

"Thank you prime minister and to answer your question the answer is no your doesn't meet any of the requirements" Lasky said sternly

"Let me put it to you this way, from what we've seen in the last week and I know you met with a few of the Romulans, because I've read their reports, your world is not as peaceful as many of you may think for one how about the Hooviet suppression of the riots in Marecow with the use of military force wanting political change and your technology level ranges from what we consider obsolete to down right ancient" Lasky said "Heck your world is so reliant on magic that technological development is almost at a complete stand still"
"But why magic has always been used in making discoveries, and is part of our every day life" Silver Horn questioned
"I'm not saying to stop using it completely , what I mean is do not rely on it so much, try to find other way to solve problems that you would normally use magic to solve" Lasky said
"If so why must we do this" the Prench delegate a Pegasus mare asked
"Captain Lasky if you don't mind" commander Tigh asked to which Lasky gave him the stand
"Lets say that one day probably in the future you all decided that perhaps it was time to explore the worlds beyond your system, and how far do you think your sissy magic will get you"
"I don't know really probably not all" The Prench mare said
"Exactly" Tigh said as he pointed to her "Because let me tell you something up until this point, magic as a whole has been regarded by the galactic communities as nothing more the fairy tales and stories for children" the last remark earning a collective gasp from those present save those who made first contact with Sarcon and Xiramek
"W-what you mean to say that you don't believe in magic" came the reply from of the nobles a unicorn mare to be exact

"Agreed" Luna said "Though these smaller matters can be dealt with later, if we are unable to join The Federation then what will be done?"

"A Protectorate world I do not quite understand this idea" Red Hammer said "What do you mean by a protectorate world?"
"A protectorate world is any planet that is within in Federation space that is under the protection of Starfleet and is starting to develop space flight or has become aware of the space faring cultures around them, for instance if you were all to agree to this idea, then a ceratin level of trade could be support between Equus III and the Federation though it would be kept to a minimum so that your world could develop at its own pace"
"This seems understandable, But vhat vould ve need protection from you all zeem very friendly no, surely that zme could be said for za rest of zhe galaxy" Fluer De Lis said
"I would have to agree with my wife while it does sound agreeable, what exactly would we need protecting from, I mean surely with what I have learned from the few Starfleet personnel before this conference, they did mention your most recent war and I hardly believe we need protection from to powers who fought over a miss understanding" Fancy pants said
"The reason, is there are races out there that would exploit your world for what resources you have will others may see it as an opportunity for conquest" Lee said "However there is already one resource your world has that the Federation would like to start trading for"
"Really, just what is your Federation so interested in that we have" Red Hammer asked with a sneer "What could we have that's got all of you hairless mutants so excited about" only to suddenly jump out of his seat as a bolt from a Disruptor pistol hit the table in front of him.
"Call us that one more time, you pathetic waste of life, and I will not hesitate to aim for your head" Ka'Taf said holstering his pistol and retaking his seat
"Getting back to your question Premier Red Hammer, what your world already has to naturally trade is this" as he brought a small container out from under the table before opening it and setting a refined Dilithium crystal
"A Pink Aether crystal, hahaha those are practically useless to us" Red Hammer said as he laughed at the display " it practically shatters under the smallest amount of magic"
"True" Lee retorted "Princess Cadence showed us how reactive to magic it is, and after putting in some research time we found out why" Lee said
"Please due tell what is it that was revealed" The saddle Arabian ambassador asked now interested as to what had been learned.
"The reason they shatter when interacting with magic is when you are trying to use it say for one of your experiments, when your start increasing the output of magic its start to vibrate at the crystals structural resonance frequency with is an the very low end of the vibrational spectrum"
"Hmmm interesting" Silver Horn started "But vhat use do you have for such a crystal?"

"Agreed" Ka'Taf said only choosing to remain at the podium whilst keeping an unnoticed but watchful eye on Red Hammer, Blueblood and the few nobles that were siting with the latter.
"As proposed, since your world does not yet fully meet the requirements for a Federation Membership the most logical option if for your world to become a protectorate, however if it is the decision of those before us, and you ask us to leave and to never return, then we shall honor this choice" Sarcon said
"Perhaps we should ask what our hosts think is best for them, would you agree my friend" Xiramek said
"It is logical to assume such" Sarcon said "Perhaps it would be best for all of you to tell what your own personal opinions are on the matter and what you wish to be enacted for the future"
A round of mumbling, passed through out the room as the delegates and nobles conversed with each other, until the minotaur rose from his seat.
"If I may" he said as he started "The minotaur's have always been workers of the forge and noble warriors, we are a proud race, if what you say is true, then we agree to join as a protectorate, as long as we can trade for new materials that you to forge object the likes have never been seen on Equus" sounds of agreement were heard from the various delegates, until the griffon spoke his part
"Unlike my fellow griffons who lust for wealth I do not share, I can see new opportunities, for us as a member of our scientific community, I believe that such a decision shall help us to gain a better understanding of the universe that we about to enter, as such Griffonstone accepts to become a protectorate of the Federation" he said however it was the words of Chrysalis that brought some shame to the others, for she and her kin had suffered long enough due to ancient alliances being destroyed as the other races started to label them as monsters and the spawn of hideous insects, however many had forgotten but a few still remembered that long ago it was learned thanks to a certain bearded unicorn wizard that Changelings were actually cousin race to ponies, the only insect traits they had were their bugs like wings and chitin like skin, and their ability to shape shift.
"I won't accept until the one who is responsible for allowing Celestia to not receive my letters that were asking for her help, and sent them back so that they could find some sick twisted pleasure in watching us go extinct" She started off her voice shaking with anger as she slammed her hoof on the table while holding Shiva close to her "What is worse is many of your nations a millennia ago were allies to the changeling, and yet and new leaders rose to power after Luna's banishment they turned theirs backs on us, calling us spawns of Tartarus" only to be answered with some mocking laughter from some of the Canterlot nobles.
"Why should we care about what happened a thousand years ago, your kind is nothing but a plague that Equus would be better off with out" A mare by the name of Golden Chalice said "Besides who would even care about a bunch of disgusting bugs" she said putting as much venom into the last word as she could
"They.are.not.bugs." Luna said "They are living beings Just like the rest of you, many have forgotten this but, when My sister and I and Chrysalis were still fillies Starswirl the Bearded preformed an autopsy on a deceased changeling and do you not what he found"
"Obviously something that proves they descended from parasites" Golden Chalice said
""Wrong" Luna shout in the Royal Canterlot voice "He found that they are exactly like a pony, the only insect like traits they have are their wings, chitinous hide and their ability to shape shift, the rest of they are is exactly like a pony"
Golden Chalice was starting to shake with fear, she knew she had angered Luna and wasn't getting off easily from the remarks she made.

"Dear Queen Chrysalis, your still have friends amongst us" Silver Horn said "Germaney still trades with you and I know that Prance and their representative Miss Sweet Fleur has made a few trade agreements and even visited you on a few occasions" as the mentioned Pegasus had a small blush on her cheeks
"Y-yeah Miss Fleur is always nice when she comes and p-plays with me and the other nymphs" Shiva squeaked out, earning a few daws from the other delegates. Even earning some from the Republic and Federation members. though the laughter was broken by the sound of the stomachs of the foals and a few Starfleet officers demanding food.
"Perhaps it would be wise to take the opportunity to break for lunch" Celestia said as she chuckled
"Agreed, Come Princess let us see if your worlds food can sate the appetite of a Klingon" Ka'Taf said earning a hearty chuckle from the four Equestrian princesses, who beckoned everyone/everypony to the ballroom which had been set up with a massive buffet.
Meanwhile on the other side of the castle in the Lunar Guard quarters, as the Thestrals AKA Bat ponies slept away, an Iconian gateway portal opened before shortly after a series of rapid clicking like sounds started flowing through before an anti graviton field was placed around a slumbering mare and stallion and were slowly pulled through, before the gateway closed. The Solanae have claimed their first pony test subjects, what will happen to them is uncertain.....
Star date: 87437.21 (6/9/2410) Situation: Freaking out man
As the Thestral mare started to wake up, she knew something was not right, for one thing she was no longer in the confines of her warm bed back at the castle and two there was barely any light yet despite this thanks to her slitted eyes she could see as if it was as bright as day . Instead as she fully awakened she found herself strapped to a large metal table and to her right as look she craned her neck to see was the Thestral Satllion in a similar predicament. Starting to become more and more scared she tried to free her legs, unfortunately they were secured with Durainium clamps, which despite her best effort weren't going to break anytime soon. Growing desperate she figured she should try and wake the stallion.
"Nocturne..... Hey Nocturne wake up" She said in a loud whisper not wanting to draw any unwanted attention. Sadly all she got was mumbling from Nocturne, so she tried again only this time louder.
"Hey Nocturne wake up!" She said this time in a loud voice causing Nocturne to be shaken awake by how loud she was craning his neck to see where he was and to see the mare to his left. "Midnight wha-whats going on were are we" He asked sounding some what panicked, because who wouldn't be, after finding your self in some unknown place with no recollection of ever coming here. The same look of fear was shared as Midnight had the same look plastered on her face.
"I d-don't know, I-I don't even remember coming here, the last thing I was being in my bed back in our barracks at the castle" She said "S-so w-were are we, I knew the meeting was today,but is this something they didn't tell us about to try and fill us with false hope"
"I-I don't know, but I'm getting a little scared" as he tried to free himself but to no avail did it work. their attention was caught when what sounded like a door opened with a mechanical whirring, before a steady stream of clicking sounds could be heard and footsteps seemed to move closer to them. Straining to see who or what had entered the room Midnight could see a robed figure with a hood covering their heads, what seemed to scare her the most was coming out of the sleeves of the robes were long tendril like appendages, fingers if she remembered what minotaur's had but only a single one on each hand and slightly smaller thumb.
Looking to her right she saw some of the crowding around Nocturne before sticking a Hypospray to his neck, what ever was in it started to cause Nocturne to go into a semi-conscious state. Her view was suddenly obstructed by one of the creatures moving in front of her face before grabbing hold of her head and turning it to the left before she felt something being pressed against her neck and feeling something being injected. Her body started having the same affects that Nocturne was experiencing, while she tried to remain awake she could, the feeling of what felt like something burning her chest as she went unconscious.
One hour later
Midnight came too slowly hoping what had happened had been a bad dream that Luna had dealt with, but as she became more aware of her surroundings she that it was still very real and not a dream. However to her,something felt off, for one she kept feeling something wet running down hers chest and sides, craning her head to look caused to her to nearly scream. There before her eyes was her open chest blood flowing out of the open cavity with a mix of tubing disappearing into her. However it was what she saw beyond that literally caused her to scream. On a table in front of here were three clear containers each filled with preservative liquids, but what was in the jars showed how sick and twisted her captors were for in the first jar was her heart, but it was what was in the other two jars that caused her to start crying. In them were her beautiful bat like wings. Each wing had been removed at the point were her wings would connect to her body, however when she saw the condition that Nocturne was in well here you go
"Nocturne...NOCTURNE" She screamed as she saw what he looked liked which was worse than she was, Both his wings had also been removed but, she could see that the stumps of where they were had been bandaged, his left fetlock on his foreleg was completely removed, though was placed within the same type of container. Though he was reacting pretty much in the same manner as she was, though a lot worse.
"M-Midnight why, why are they doing this to us?" Nocturne choked up "
"I-I d-don't know but I.... I want to go home where's our night mother when we need her" Midnight said referring to the nickname the batponies use for Luna, only to be interrupted as the Solanae returned moving to the two ponies and preparing for another of their horrid surgeries only this time administering pain relievers and not putting them to sleep, believing this to be the end Midnight gathered her courage.
"H-hey Nocturne" She said
"Yeah?" He asked seeing the fear in her eyes
"I-if we don't make it out of here, I just want you to know that..... that your the best coltfriend a mare could ask for" Midnight said as she started to tear up whilst trying not to cry
"Your the best as well, I could have never asked for a more beautiful marefriend as you" Nocturne said his eyes starting to tear up as well. they both held each others gaze as the Solanae went to work not breaking eye contact for a moment, though only interrupted when one of the Solanae moved in front of them or moved to get a better angle as the removed and reattached limbs or organs they held this look for a few hours before their bodies started to tire and the passed out.
Three hours later
After nearly being gone as long as the first days of negotiations had been taking place on Equus, the two batponies were finally returned to their barracks, all limbs and internal organs hand been returned and reattached with all traces of surgery being non-existent on their bodies, though they would not remember it right away, the events of what had been done to them would haunt their dreams only then would they remember what happened to them and only then would they bring this to their night mother.

To say that Our Equestrian friends were shocked and some what disgusted at Klingon table manners, would be an understatement in itself. Seeing as how Klingons are known for not using utensils and preferring their bare hands to eat with would leave someone who'd never witnessed such a thing as gross. Here's what basically happened. As our intrepid heroes and other worldly guest stepped through the threshold that was the Ballroom, the vast room had been turned into a vast dining area fresh with various foods and drinks from across Equus III no doubt thanks to the assistance of the portable replicators that been supplied to the kitchen staff. Seeing the massive buffet tables that had been lined up against wall most if not everyone was drawn to them, however those from Klingon delegation made it to them first each warrior regardless of their race was taking multiple plates and helpings of food, using only their bare hands.
"my word" Rarity said in a hushed whisper to Fluttershy "don't they know any table manners?"
"Ah'm gonna agree with ya on that Rares, ain't they got any sense of decency" Applejack sat in reply to Rarity's earlier question seeing as how the Klingons and their other races that had accompanied them were displaying a similar fashion of manners that was bordering on being downright animalistic.
"I believe it would seem logical to instead for give the Klingons for their, lack of manners" T'vreil said as she came up from behind the three ponies. "This is how they eat because it is the only way they ever learned as children, and is part of Klingon culture." she said as she explained the poor conduct the Klingons were showing in regards to their food.
"Well ah still think they could at least use a dern napkin instead of their sleeve, ah nuts now ah'm startin ta sound like you Rares" Applejack said
"It's quite all Applejack though I must agree with, but if this is part of their livelihood and upbringing then who are we to judge" Rarity said aloud gaining remarks of agreement from the others. meanwhile Cadence the love princess that she is had this nagging feeling that was really bothering her. It had to do with Sarcon's statement he made aboard the Dawnstar where he explained that Vulcans were unable to feel emotions even something as basic as love, and yet here she stood feeling a constant feeling of love none the less coming from Sarcon directed towards T'vreil, she wanted to ask, but it was not her place to do such a thing. However a solution presented itself to her, Xiramek. He's known Sarcon longer that she has so perhaps he may have the answer she seeks. Moving through the mixed crowd on representatives took a little shoving and trying to bob and weave with out spilling anypony's food especially the Klingon's seeing as how they were easily irritated. Finally having made it through, she made her way over to where Xiramek was seated.
"Um pardon me, Xiramek but do you have a moment?" she asked
"Certainly, Princess how can I be of service?" Xiramek replied turning to face the pink Alicorn.
"It's about Sarcon, there just.. something about him that doesn't well really make sense to me" She said as a look of frustration and a scrunched muzzle were any indication of how annoying it was.
"Let me guess, it has something to do with Sarcon emanating feelings of affection toward T'vreil" He said leaving Cadence quite dumbstruck that Xiramek would even know that before she had even said it.
"I bu.. did how did you know that" she stuttered out
"limited telepathic abilities" Xiramek said as he tapped a finger to his head "Though I can understand the confusion, let me guess he told you that Vulcans can't feel emotion" Cadence nodded in answer to his question, still not sure as to why Sarcon would lie to them, and he had seemed so trustworthy, however Xiramek's chuckling broke her out of her thoughts. "It's understandable, but I believe I can clarify what my dear friend meant" He said "you see Vulcans can feel emotion, they just choose not and instead suppress them thus giving them the cold unfeeling aura that we've grown used to"
"but, why? why would anypony want to do such a thing?" Cadence asked, for her not being able to feel even love felt like a sin, it's like being given a slice of strawberry cheesecake and saying it will destroys the world.
"I shall explain, two thousands year before the present and before the Romulan empire Vulcans and Romulans were once the same race," Xiramek said as he began the ancient tale of the Time of Awakening. "At this point war raged constantly on Vulcan, as the level of technology increased so did the believe in many gods to the point our ancestors threatened to render themselves extinct" cadence had since abandoned any questions she had and quietly listened like a filly in a classroom while a teacher was presenting a new lesson.
"Towards the end of what became one of Vulcans last wars a philosopher known as Surak stepped forward and offered a new idea and philosophy to avoid extinction"
"And this idea included the suppressing of emotions for more logical principles?" Cadence asked
"Correct he believed that peace could be achieved if all the violent emotions of his people could be controlled if they were suppressed, because by human standards were at a much deeper level at what the could feel" Xiramek said taking a small moment to take a sip from the cider he had been enjoying.
"Unfortunately, there were those who resisted this new idea and so a new war was waged claiming Surak's life, before they left Vulcan and later settling on what would become Romulus thus beginning the start of my people" Xiramek said as he concluded his story, Cadence now understanding why Sarcon gave his original answer, thanks in part to his people's ancient history, now new that even more advanced beings had reasons to why they do the things they do. After nearly two hours of dining and chatting, many of those present started filtering back to the conference room retaking their seats as to begin a new round of negotiations for Equus and what part it would play in the bigger universe. however not all of those who were present had good intentions.
"thank you everypony, now where were we" Celestia said since before going to lunch they were discussing the trade of the Pink Aether crystals or Dilithium as the rest of the galaxy called it so. So far it had gone well enough that the Prench, Germane's, Griffons and the Minotaur's had accepted had agreed upon Equus being a Federation protectorate world should the need to ask Starfleet to defend their world ever arises.
"I believe princess, that we were still deciding on whether or not Equus III should become a protectorate world and what basic trade negotiations will be implemented" Captain Lasky said as he aimed to get things rolling again.
"Thank you Captain Lasky, now what about the trade deals we had begun on?" Celestia said
"Yaks want new metals from space beings, so yaks can make new armor and weapons to defend home" Prince Rutherford of Yakyakistan said though the way he said it didn't seem all that friendly.
"I'm afraid we can't do that, if we agreed to this, how would we know that you would not use resources that we gave you to instigate wars with your neighbor?" Commander Tigh asked "Hell I wouldn't even trust your with even a tricorder, if you tried to make it a weapon" "If you no give yaks what yaks ask for then we declare war" Rutherford said slamming his fore hooves down on the table
"you incompetent fool, you fail to realize that if you did such a thing, I would order my entire fleet to reduce your kingdom to ashes" Ka'Taf said in a low growl "Then how would you be able to fight when every military asset of yours has be vaporized? It's simple your wouldn't" Rutherford for his part hearing that the his entire nation could be wiped out and not even having the chance to fight back caused him to pale at such a thought, forcing to revoke his declaration for war seeing as it would avoid unneeded blood shed. on and on the talks went back and forth on such as how trade between the Federation would be undertaken and what Equus had to offer as goods to the surrounding communities. one was how would the changelings be able to survive on an entirely different world where they had never be encountered before, for the most part it was explained that at first should a changeling leave Equus he or she may be accidentally mistake for an animal at first given their bug-equine appearance . Though once those who had seen them were shown they were an entirely sentience being it would start of a firestorm of question and conversation pertaining to them. To make a long story short they would be welcomed. Though there was the concern that the Ferengi Alliance would try to sell any of the races of Equus III as pets given that most of the races on the planet were considered mythological and knowing the Ferengi they would do literally anything to turn a profit even if it meant selling a living being for a few bars of latinum.
"I do av a question zat I vish to have answered" Baron Silver Horn said "Vhat vould have to zay if one of our citizens vant to leave and explore the greater galaxy" Many of those from Starfleet and those representing the Klingons and Romulans new a question like this had been coming, the hard part was finding a suitable answer for it. this was really putting them in a bind.

Prime minister, let's say for example you were are the one wanting to leave, if so you'd have to apply for a federation travel VISA and passport as well as getting immunization once that's done it will simply depend on your destination" Lee Adama said in the simplest way he could and knew since first time space travel is somewhat of a long rigorous hassle especially the preparation part of it. Silver Horn nodded in understanding seeing as how the aforementioned process was similar to how tourist's needed the required credentials when going to and from Germaney. Over the next few hours, both sides continued to debate on how to setup trade and tourism agreements which at the insistence of Chrysalis would also allow tourists to visits her hive in the badlands so that they could gain a new form of passive love that tourist's usually tend to give off when they come to a new place that they've never visited. With many of the other delegates both From Equus and the from beyond agreeing to this ideas Especially Twilight. Despite the fact that the young Alicorn still held resentment for the changelings for what they did at the Royal wedding, she pushed for this idea because after learning and seeing how badly they were suffering she wanted no needed to do what is right. That and seeing as how Chrysalis's daughter was now friends with Nyx she didn't want her own daughter to have to watch a friend starve to death and possibly die. deep down Twilight knew she would forgive Chrysalis one day perhaps in the near future. Speaking of Shiva and Nyx while the both had been trying to Figure out what an Iconian was, something at the moment just felt wrong from .
"Pssst Hey Shivy you getting that feeling that something bad going to happen?" Nyx asked using the nickname she and the CMC had given to Shiva.
"Y-yeah, especially from that Blueblood and the Caribou" Shiva replied in a hushed whisper
"Well yeah I know those two would but, I meant with MR. Red Hammer, something about the way he's been looking at our mom's just doesn't feel right" Nyx replied the way Red Hammer kept looking back between Blueblood and King Volun of the Caribou, just didn't seem right and the way he'd occasionally glance at Twilight and Auntie Celestia was starting to worry her quite a lot actually. Nyx was uncertain of what to do and this thought was a bit annoying for the black filly to have to deal with, however her train of thought was interrupted by Twilight nudging her in the side with a wing tip.
"What's wrong Sweetie?" Twilight whispered into Nyx's ear.
"I don't know mom, something about, Red hammer feels wrong, like evil wrong" Nyx whispered back, Twilight for one became concerned with this as she too had been observing Red Hammer, to her it seemed as if he was plotting something that would allow him to potentially gain more from these negotiations. Whatever it was his body language seemed to suggest that Blueblood and Volun were apart of it as well. With most of the topics covered from trade to travel even going as far as enlisting in Starfleet, which was considered a great opportunity to help with diplomatic relations. However there one only one thing that still remained. Who was responsible for the suffer of the Changelings and who was to be held accountable for it.
"Now for our piece of discussion, That investigation and attempted genocide of the Changelings" Admiral Adama said as he took the stand, eyeing those present from the gathered nations. "I can explain how disappointed I am, in how someone here is so offended by their very existence, that they'd go as far as trying to wipe them out down to the last child"
His mood seemed to reflect those he had come with. But the feeling of disgust and anger was more apparent on those of the Klingons, yes they were brutal when it came to battle and forcing information from prisoners, but to them actually wanting to wipe out an entire race and cultural is considered so dishonorable that those who are found responsible for such things were to be sentenced to death by the same means that they used against those whom they tried to eradicate. The look of anger emanating From Ka'Taf's eyes was a clear indicator that he was without a doubt enraged that someone would go as far as doing something so dishonorable. that is until a certain pony decided to and in his two cents worth.
"I believe I may be able to shed light on this issue" Red Hammer said "How ever I shall only tell what I know on a few conditions"
"Oh for the love let's hear it then" Luna said with mild annoyance
"First, those of the Federation shall hand over all scientific and weapons data, and finally" he said before cutting of and nodding to the sergeant next to him who whispered something into the mic on his neck. Before anyone or anypony could react multiple windows shattered as Hooviet Spec OPs troops came crashing weapons drawn and point towards the table while several roughly separate the foals from their charges including Nyx and Shiva whose mothers viciously tried to get them back.
"And my final condition. The complete and unconditional surrender of Equestria" Red hammer said putting his hooves together with a menacing grim on his muzzle.
(1) Since I have no real knowledge how someone goes from one planet to another in the Star Trek universe I am basing it off of how we travel from different countries in real life.

Hello everbody, I hope you've been having a wonderful. It's been brought to me attention, by a certain Ahuras Wrath that Star Trek: Equestria rising is complete garbage namely to punctuation errors, which I do look out for when writing new chapters and because it doesn't follow any of the canon Star trek lore. Which getting back to the before mentioned issue it never was supposed to follow any on the lore, its based off of a free to play MMO.
My point is do you think he is right or wrong? Should I continue writing this story, or do what he is describing as putting a gun this story's head and killing it. so please give your honest opinion. if you wish to know more of what he said read his comment on the previous chapter.

Star date: 87437.21 (6/9/2410) Canterlot Castle status: Probability of armed violence extremely high
It seemed as though Red Hammer had the upper hand and for a moment he did seeing as how Spec Ops troops had the element of surprise when the made their entrance. He felt so fortunate that his two business partners in this endeavor would be capable of keeping their ends of the agreement so long as they didn't do anything stupid, that could jeopardize this situation.
"RED HAMMER WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?" Celestia demand barely using the royal Canterlot voice as she seethed in anger that Red Hammer would be foolish enough to try somethin like this and in her home of all places. She had known He would do something that would bring further shame to the Hooviet Union, but this, this was an outrage.
"What indeed Princess, For to long I've watched as you and your so called allies have made sanction after sanction against my motherland" Red hammer said as he stood before the window looking out at the courtyard as Hooviet troops rounded up the tourist who tried to flee, while subduing the Klingon warriors still present around their shuttlecrafts, and as several Hooviet dreadnought class airships, were dropping the massed invisibility spells that had been concealing them. The large behemoth's quickly training their ventral guns on Canterlot
"For so long we've suffered because you all say that our way of life would destroy Equus, but how you are so wrong as it will save it from the greed and capitalistic ideals that is Equestria, which is why I had to gain a few business partners for this endeavor" Red Hammer said with a dark chuckle "Gentlecolts"
"Though fiend who would dare help you?" Luna snorted as she tried to struggle free, as her magic had been rendered useless, via a nullifier ring. While her wings had been bound against her barrel, thus she was unable to fight back or resist against what ever was going to happen.
"Auntie, auntie, ever so blind as to not see what in front of you" Blueblood said as he strolled past Luna with a malicious grin on his muzzle.
"My dear compatriot is correct and now the small plan which we have concocted shall now be complete" King Volun stated "And to think many of you here hate my race simply because we see our females as nothing more than object as pleasure"
He stopped. Taking a moment to look at the princess and their charges, his gaze finally falling on the four fillies and changeling nymph, whom all coward in front of his gaze.
"And yet you couldn't be anymore correct, females are meant to serve and please theirs owners and I believe that the daughters of Princess Twilight and Queen Chrysalis sale be given to the highest bidder" Volun said before motioning for Nyx and Shiva to be separated from their mothers. Both filly and nymph struggled to break free.
"Nooo let us go,MOMMY, MOMMY HELP US ]" Nyx cried out as she attempted to get free, even managing a swift kick of her hoof to a caribou's face.
"MAMA!!!" Shiva yelled tears streaming down her face as her hooves were bound together. All Twilight and Chrysalis could do was watch in tears as they daughters were being taken away possibly to never be seen again.
"Oh Volun not yet, our guest from among the stars have yet to state whether they wish to cooperate" Red Hammer said.
Celestia, somewhat still in shock, that her nephew had decided to betray his own nation. She assumed that his primary reason was overthrow her and her sisters right to rule, and would instead make himself as the new king, which his way of ruling would most likely doom Equestria. What appalled her the most, is that Blueblood would make and allegiance with the two nations on Equus, that happened to also the most feared and hated.
"Dear Auntie, you wished to know who was responsible for wanting the filthy changelings dead?" Blueblood chuckled "I admit guilty as charged, why should the bugs even exist, their nothing but a blight on our world that must be destroyed"
"They are also living beings" Captain Lasky said gaining everyone's attention. "What right is there, that says you have to decide their fate, what makes you so much bigger then they are."
"My dear captain, it's rather quite simple really, I had the unfortunate luck of meeting one of those vile creatures when I discovered it was pretending to be one of the castle maids, a few months before the royal wedding" Blueblood said "It tried to hide but I personally disposed of it, a few days after the letters from that wretched queen started arriving so I naturally took upon myself, to deal with them personally"
"YOU,. YOU Disgusting INSOLENT foal, I have never been more shamed of you in my life, were you not rasied better than this" Luna shouted her anger causing her eyes to slowly start to glow a bright white.
"Of course I was dear aunt, I was taught that the peasantry is beneath me, and I shall do what ever I please" Blueblood sneered "And yet all my life I've watched as auntie Celestia always stood up for them, and then you come along, and make it even worse"
"And just what do you intend to do?" Xiramek said having decided someone must stand up against them "From what I've seen most of the Nobles here would rather see the working class squeezed of every last bit they have, Or would you care to enlighten us"
"Oh my dear admiral that is quite simple, in exchange for your own freedom, you'll relinquish all technological and scientific data to us, or one by one you'll die" Red Hammer said, his confidence was high yet he still was unaware that he would fail. Sadly he didn't think of this, he still believed that he would bring the Hooviet Union into a new era, that would make them the supreme world power.
"what makes you think we shall agree to a weak, pathetic waste of a ruler like" Koren spat "SoHvaD tu'lu'bogh, 'ach traitorous poSDaq je, pe'vIlHa'"
"Oh don't so stupid captain Koren, we have just the thing to make you reconsider" Volun said "If you would divert your attention to the courtyard, you'll see what we have in mind, then maybe you'll reconsider"
Outside, about one hundred or so, soldiers were assembling a massive cannon, while to those not of Equus it seemed like an archaic type of weapon. Celestia knew that in fact, it was a K-12 super heavy magi pulse gun, one of only four that the Hooviet Union possessed, simply because of how complicated it was to manufacture them. This one however, seems to have been heavily modified, as it was now somewhat larger and the charging crystals on its base were much bigger, as well as additional crystal had been place on the end of the barrel.
"I greatly believe, that what ever your reasoning, it is ill conceived and highly illogical, seeing as how we do not partake in another worlds development" Sarcon said his calm attitude ever present, as he was racing for a solution to diffuse the current problem. Not to mention the large cannon had him rather worried, mainly because it's primary function and purpose had yet to be revealed.
"Oh is it now, let me tell something Admiral, your going to give me what I ask or, I'll start destroying your ships one at a time. Are we clear?" Red Hammer asked
"If you believe we'll give in to someone like you, ha then your a dam fool" Commander Tigh said "Like hell we'd ever give anything, to a self absorbed tyrant like you"
"Then I'm sad to say you leave me no choice, Lieutenant, fire at will" Red Hammer said, a cacophony of orders started to cry out as soldiers started activating various power generators, and targeting equipment. The cannons gunner started imputing the information he was receiving.

A loud whine filled the ears of all those present, before a sudden bright light and explosive noise filled the air, as a super charge beam of magic knifed through sky towards the ships in orbit, Captains and the admirals on the ground quickly called out orders to evade.
Equus orbit
Sensors blaring, threat alarms ringing, the mixed fleet of ships attempted to avoid the beam of magic, yet had to instead try not collide with each other, but the orders to evade came to late. as the Beam screamed through the vacuum of space, a Klingon Negh'var Battlecruiser was hit, the radiant intensity of the beam and the high concentration of magic, quickly overloaded its shields, burning its way through the ship before hitting the warp core. The crew never had a chance to send a distress messages as their ship was torn to shreds by the exploding core, in that instant thirty five hundred warriors perished, yet it was not over as the cannons beam continued through striking a Vor'cha tearing the port warp nacelle and the section of hull were it was mounted. Unable to retain control of the damaged ship, and with the containment fields for the core all but gone, crewmen scrambled for the escape pods. Only two hundred and thirty seven of the fifteen hundred strong crew managed to abandon ship before the ship's last death throws brought about its destruction. In that short span of time, there were three suns in the Equus system. As quickly as they were born they went out, now all that remained of the two ships was blackened metal.
Back in the conference room
All those who weren't behind the surprise attack watched in horror as the sky suddenly had two additional suns. Celestia, Luna and everyone else were horrified and in disbelief, never had they ever witnessed such an act of cruelty and hate before. Even Blueblood and Volun, did not seem bothered by what they had done, to them they simply did not care, it was just a means to an end.
"Sir, reports say that we lost the Gha'tlhlq, and the Azrak. There are only less then three hundred survivors from the Azrak" K'gan Ka'Taf's first officer said through a greatly angered growl. Koren, Worf and the few other Klingons present in the conference room had become visibly angered, as brows furrowed and fists were clenched tightly, Ka'Taf however just starred up at the sky, before lowering his head, his hands bound in tight fists and eyes shut, raising his wrist gauntlet he pinged the built in communicator.
"Doq'a' SuvwI'pu' tlhIngan wo', neH 'umwI' SoH unprovoked HIv against maHvaD, qotlh HIv pong nach hooviet DIvI'( Warriors of the Klingon Empire, you have just been witnessed to an unprovoked attack against us, this attack was warranted by the head of the Hooviet union)" Ka"Taf said not wanting Red Hammer, Blueblood, or Volun to know what he was saying. what he intended was retribution.
"ngIl ghoHiv chaH bopummeH poQ maH... cham tlhopDaq qIH refusal cowardly 'etlhHommey 'ej qup chot batlh(They dare attack us, under the demands that we.. give them our technology to which our refusal was met with cowardly and honor less murder)" Ka'Taf continued his voice becoming filled with more rage and hate by the second.
"'ach maH, fury mev chaH tob chaH maH, SuvwI' qaSmoH maHvaD nuq ghoj chaH, tlhInganpu' SuvwI' cha' yoursleves Ha' yIra' may' qaSmoH maHvaD nuq ghoj chaH(But we, we will show them the fury they've awoken, they will learn what makes us warriors, they will learn what makes us Klingons WARRIORS SHOW YOURSLEVES' GO FORTH TO BATTLE)" He said as he quickly spun around grabbing the nearest Hooviet soldier and smashing him head first into the wall crushing the poor stallions skull. Out of seemingly nowhere, multiple Klingon, and Gorn warriors suddenly sprang in to existence thanks to being cleverly hidden via personal cloaking devices, each jumping into the fray as they quickly opened up firing on Both Red hammer's and Volun's troops as well as Blueblood's personal guards. Magic and disruptor bolts flew through the air, to the defenders surprise what magic did hit their attacks bounced off of their armor and personal shields, while instead Hooviet, caribou, and Bluebloods guard were instantly vaporized when hit, by a disruptor. In the air the fighter that were originally arrived as an escort turned their disruptor cannons on the massive airships.
Seeing as this was a loosing battle, Red Hammer and his associates tried to make a break for the exits only to be stopped by Ka'Taf, whose eyes burned with hate, brandishing the retrieved Sword of Kahless, thirsting for vengeance.
"You will never leave you qa'meH quv" Ka'Taf growled before lunging forward delivering a powerful slash wit the ancient bat'leth, giving the Unicorns and caribou a fraction of a second to react, as the enraged Kling let fly with a flurry of attacks before all three were backed against a corner, and with no less than twenty disruptors of various types aimed at their heads.
"Lieutenant Ki'aug restrain these honor less curs, the rest of you free your fellow warriors" Ka'Taf said whilst retrieving his pistols, before heading for the court yard exit, as more warrior deid in low but menacing growl.
"Onboard the Azrak was someone whom Ka'Taf cared for greatly, someone for whom he would sacrifice his own life for, His mate Ki'Vona along with their three year old daughter and unborn son" Sarcon said, having known Ka'Taf for as long as he had and, having a much greater understanding of Klingon traditions and their culture, he new it was unwise to interfere. Not only was this a blood oath to avenge the life that had just been lost but this was one of vengeance.
"W-what will you do then?" Squeaked Celestia as she stood along side Sarcon, she was used to having a peaceful life style for the past eight centuries, now that peace had better shattered.
"As the Hooviets killed my warriors and my family so to, will I do then same." Ka'Taf said leaving abruptly, with K'gan following close behind. "Ambassador, Koren Guard the prisoners, the rest of you with me, take any officers of colonel rank or higher prisoner, kill the rest "
As quickly as the order had been given, they departed, just as the last airship had been destroyed, but not before three of them had disgorged additional troops through out the majestic city. These were the best troops in the Hooviet army, the Marescow guard, the elite of the elite, but despite all their years of training and combat they'd seen none of it would save them from two hundred and fifity vengeful Klingons each equipped with superior weapons, armor and shields, instead of being the quick victory they'd dreamt of,, instead they would receive a massacre.
Bursting into the streets, The Warriors of Q'onoS, charged forth with a fury that border on controlled and animalistic savagery, those that weren't gunned down, were forced to engage the warriors and CQC, Many were cut down or impaled by Nausicaan's armed with Gin'tak spears. Some, survived a bit longer as they had more extensive training and experience fighting in close quarters, but even this was not enough to stop the charging warriors, this didn't mean the Hooviets weren't going to give up without fight. Fighting through the city became more aggressive as each side was using as much attrition as they could, but it was not enough despite their superior numbers the Hooviets were unable to hold the city. some had actually managed to fortify the area they'd taken control of, setting up barricades along with heavy weapons, such as the j-5 heavy spell repeater. Clearing this group, proved to be more troublesome than what was needed, but they all fell none the less. In a matter of a few short hours, all of the Hooviets were dead or disintegrated, save for any officers that were unfortunate enough to have been taken prisoner, amongst those who were captured was none other than Red Hammers very own son Sickle strike, some how he'd been caught trying to escape in the armored vehicle his own father had arrived in, only for the engine to comically blow up when he got in it, oh the thought that were racing through Ka'Taf's head when he was made aware of this development.
"So you worthless bIHnuch, Did you really think you could force us, Klingons to bow down to you" Worf growled smacking Red Hammer across the floor. "Never has a Klingon been made to commit such a lowly act"
The worthless stallion attempted to stand only to find the weight of Koren's boot pressed against his throat, as he struggled to breath, the boot was removed only to feel a strong pair of hands wrap around his neck. It, was none other than a severely pissed of Dahar Master, who for all intents and purposes, and according to Klingon law literally held Red Hammer's life in his hands.
"If, I was not here for the benefit of your world I would have reduced your nation to rubble, however be glad that for now I will let you live" Ka'Taf said before throwing Red Hammer next to his son and the rest who tried to gain control. Blueblood on the other hand, had been screaming constantly saying how he should be king and that the working class would learn to bow the every whim of the nobility. Volun had sat silent through out the whole battle for Canterlot, his dream of male superiority over Celestia and Luna crushed, all in the name of saving males. For now all three would sit chained in the lower depths of the royal dungeon, whilst the rest of Equus and the visiting off worlder's judged their fate.
"Princesses, what is to become of these four? " Xiramek said gesturing to the three condemned ponies and single caribou.
"They will be placed on trial before the world, yet I believe, that since the attack was made against the Klingons that they should have the honor of picking somepony as the judge" Celestia said, the tone of regret and disappointment heavy in her voice. A quick look and Blueblood made him cower in fear, the look on the Solar princess's face could have burned through Neutronium, with how angered it looked.
"Excuse me Admiral, the survivors of the Azrak and Gha'tlhlq, have made planet fall, our medics along with the castle doctors, have been treating them. there is one item of concern" Veril said, what could his chief engineer know that could be of great concern. Leaning to his er she whispered what she knew, gaining a look of surprise from Xiramek.
"Are you absolutely sure?" He asked the Reman. Veril only nodded, both knew this would help to improve Ka'Taf's over all demeanor and mood, while at the same time it would help him to think more clearly.
"Alright then" Xiramek said "Ka'Taf we've some good news that may help you current emotional state"
"Rrrrr, WHAT could possibly help with what that petaQ has done to me, and the empire. My Mate and children are dead and two of the shipsin my fleet destroyed" Ka'Taf spat
"If we're dead? Then how are we still standing my mate" A voice unfamiliar to the ponies but familiar to Ka'Taf said. Thinking his hearing was playing tricks on him, he turned to face the voice's source only, to be taken back but what he saw. Standing before him was his mate Ki'Vona and their daughter Woy"lm, letting his instincts take hold the Klingon broke into a light jog, and embracing them in his arms.
"I thought I'd lost you to the shores of Gre'thor, now I am glad I was wrong" Ka'Taf said taking hold of his daughter, the young girl holding on for dear life, for being so young she has yet to learn to not give into fear. To those still present it was a heart warming sight to see.
"See sister this, this is how life through out the galaxy should be, full of happy heart felt moments." Luna said prancing in place seeing a happy re-union of family.
"Indeed Luna seeing them happy and together makes me feel just how glad I was to have you back" Celestia said "Come let us give them a moment, for we have a trial to prepare"
With Ka'Taf now reunited with his family, there was still a high chance of Equus becoming a protectorate of the Federation, but fisrt there would have to be the trial, and its out come was uncertain.

Star Date:87440.7826610859 (6/10/2410) Canterlot Castle Chrysalis's quarters
It had been a long day for the Queen of the Changeling's, from learning to why her race had been forcefully been the victims of attempted genocide, to nearly loosing her own daughter, to someone who was a complete nut case, she for one wanted just wanted time to relax. Sadly the same could not be said for Shiva, the poor royal nymph, was still badly shook up after the ordeal, refusing to come out of the small play house she'd made out of changeling resin. Chrysalis couldn't blame her, being already shy around ponies, what image she had of them had been shattered the previous day. Chrysalis was at a loss, she just didn't know what to do, she'd even thought about writing to her husband King Metalus, but figured maybe Shiva would come around on her own. Sighing to herself, The queen tried to think of how she could convince her daughter that not all ponies were bad. Her train of thought was interrupted by a light knocking on the door. sliding of the sofa and onto her hooves, she made her way to the door, pulling it open she saw nopony there, that is until she lowered her gaze, and there stood the source of the knocking. All four of the crusaders where they, and the downtrodden looks they had, were that of concern and fear.
"Oh" Chrysalis said with an amused tone "What is it you four want"
"Well miss chrysalis, we was wantin ta see if, if Shivy was alright" AppleBloom
"Yeah she's our friends, and we want her to be okay" Scootaloo said, buzzing her wings with excitement. A long sigh escaped from Chrysalis's lips, the fillies had her there, being her daughters first real friends, something she had wanted for Shiva to have for along time. Perhaps they were right and perhaps they would be able to coax the scared nymph from her hiding place. Then again maybe not the only time The changeling queen had managed to get her out was when she'd managed to bribe Shiva with a small bit of love to eat.
"Alright come in" Chrysalis said with an exasperated sigh, she herself needed this to now that the to the hive a future queen wouldn't be mentally scarred for life. stepping aside the four fillies piled into the ornate room that, had been provided for the changelings. The most noticeable feature was the large amount of hardened changeling resin in the corner, making it roughly twice the size of the crusaders club house. All four we in awe that a single nymph was able to build something like this in the short time they'd known Shiva.
"In there, she hasn't come out except to feed on love or use the bathroom" Chrysalis said, turning to face the fillies "Please, you four are my daughters first friends, perhaps you'll be able to triumph where I've failed"
The girls look up at the downtrodden queen, her cheeks moist with from fresh tears. The could roughly understand why, Chrysalis it seems had most likely been doubting herself at being a mother, feeling as if she's ruined her nymph's foalhood. Breaking down into tears she finally let the dam break.
"I'm a terrible mothe-he-he-herrr!"
She kept at this only a minute, tell she felt four sets of hooves wrap themselves around her barrel. wiping away her tears, she saw the crusaders hugging her, just like a mare would to comfort her own foals when they were emotionally distraught. Wiping away her tears, she returned the gesture in kind.
"Miss Chrysalis ah know ma sis aint got the best record with ya" AppleBloom stated "But, ah'm goin to say this ya aint a terrible mother, to shivy ya'll the best mom she could ever wish fer"
"Yeah I don't get to see my folks as often cause I live with Rarity all the time, but still my mom Cookie crumble is the best and I bet yah a bajillion bits that Shiva thinks the same way about you as well" Sweetie belle said ever full of excitement as she normally was. Taking a moment to reflect, Chrysalis thought back, to the many times, that she would be in an important meeting or dealing with other things, only to be interrupted by Shiva, The young nymph would come scampering into the room full boar, firing off sentences about something she'd learned in the school hive or some new discovery she made at school each one bringing a warm feeling to the queens aching heart. Perhaps these four were right.
"O-okay, you'll have to convince her, to come out" Chrysalis said pointing to the play house. "How you do this is up to you, please try to bring sense to her"
"Miss Chrysali ya can count on us" AppleBloom said "Come on y'all lets go see what Shiva's up ta"
"Yeah lets get our new bestie" Nyx said trotting over with them to the structure, there were a few holes near the base of it, that acted as doors. The resin was partially transparent letting in a little light, but not much. Seeing that they'd have a problem with this, it was Sweetie who'd came up with the idea of using some of the glow bugs she had with her. The small luminescent bugs were able to provide enough light that they could traverse the play house unimpeded. Choosing the entrance hole closet to the ground, the four fillies quickly scurried in side taking notice of the rather alien appearance.
"ew ew ew so gross" Nyx said kicking some slime of her hooves, making a grossed look on her muzzle. "Which way should we go?"
"We could go left or right or up" Sweetie Belle said or we could try and listen for Shiva that way we'd know exactly where she is in here"
"Now how's that gonna work this here place is huge how in the world are weh gonna find her" AppleBloom said huffing loudly. making they way further in, they heard a noise, at first low and quiet, following the sound, the closer they got the clearer the sound was.
"Does that sound like crying to you" Scootaloo asked flicking her ears to hear the supposed crying better earning marks of agreement from the others. "Come on girls let find our friend"
moving deeper within the small hive they eventually came to the only room it had, and there in a small pods bed was Shiva who looked as if she'd been crying her eyes out non-stop, ever since the events of yesterday. Taking a hesitant step forward Sweetie belle approached the bed and gently poked Shiva, to which the young queen reacted by squealing and flailing her limbs around and eneded up falling of the bed with a plop. The fillies winced before going to help her back to her hooves, but the young queen still cowered from them, as she was still somewhat traumatized from the previous days event.
Sweetie Belle being the kind pony she was, took the initiative to pull the scared nymph into a hug, followed shortly by AppleBloom, Scootaloo and Nyx, Shiva resisted at first trying to get away, but her friends were determined to help her no matter what.
"l-leave me alone p-please" Shiva squeaked through her tears still half heartedly trying to get free, yet her friends held fast as they had a job to do.
"No Shivy your our friend and we intend to make you happy and feel safe again so no I don't think we'll leave not just yet" Nyx said the Alicorn filly getting a collective agreement from her friends, but Shiva just whimpered more.
"Hey I got an Idea' Scootaloo said the other fillies gather around her as she whispered it into their ears, they nodded in agreement to the plan.
"Tell ya what Shivy we'll come bacl a lil later tonight when ya'll feelin better and show ya why weh believe yer in good hooves and why we still are ya friend m'kay" AppleBloom said with a smile
"O-okay" Shiva said in a quiet whisper. they left but not before giving Shiva a final hug and AppleBloom leaving an applefritter for Shiva to snack on.
Several hours later time 7pm Canterlot time
As the last vestiges of the setting sun, sank below the horizon and the day turned to night, four fillies made their way towards Chrysalis's quarters ready, to show Shiva how much of a friend they considered her, and that despite what had happened the previous day that not all ponies were bad, or evil.
"So we all set?" Sweetie Belle asked they had spent the last few hours preparing for this and they wanted to make sure it was perfect>
"As ready as we'll ever" Scootaloo, she knocked on the door and stood there waiting patiently, after a few moments the door slowly opened and Chrysalis peered down at them, seeing them formed a small smile on her muzzle.
"Hello again, Fillies I'm guessing your here to take Shiva out to show her what true friends are?" The changeling queen asked
"Uh We're gonna give her a right good time aint weh girls" AppleBloom said bouncing with excitement "And weh promise to make sure she's taken care miss Chrysalis"
Chrysalis smiled before being lightly shoved to the side as Shiva poked her head out of the room, upon seeing her friends she got a little excited. "Is..is it time to go" Shiva asked shyly, the replies of her friend were instantaneous.
"just be safe my little ling, and don't get into trouble" Chrysalis said as she gave her daughter a hug goodbye.
"I will mama I promise" Shiva said before departing with her friends, as they walked around the corner, Chrysalis stood there alone before a magical pop went of next to her causing her to eep and visibly jump from being startled, turning to see who it was she was surprised to see Twilight standing there.
"Oh hello Sparkle, is there something I can help you with" Chrysalis asked dryly, thought twilight just rolled her eyes at the response.
"Sort of, I was going to discretely follow Nyx and her friends to make sure their little plan went smoothly, and thought since your daughter is with them perhaps you'd like to tag along?" Twilight said ruffling her wings a little. Chrysalis stood there for a time a hole filled hoof tapping her chin as she thought about Twilight proposal, after what seemed to be an age she closed her eyes and sigh.
"Alright I'll join you, plus this might give us a chance to make amends for any past hate between us and our species" She said with a hint of hope in her voice.
"Yeah considering now that we have an entire fleet of space ships from different galactic governments orbiting our planet" Twilight said with a giggle, which got the elder changeling to laugh a bit with her. To keep from being discovered both Alicorn and changeling applied an invisibility spell on themselves and followed their daughter and friends. Following the fillies led them outside to the castle gardens, were it seems the CMC had rallied some of the Canterlot foals and there parents into helping them throw a small party/carnival for everyone more specifically to enjoy. The sight of this and seeing the other foals not be frightened by her daughters appearance, brought a tear to her eyes.
The small event went on into the late hours of the night, at this point Shiva had a few new plushies and was now siting on her haunches staring with her mouth agape at the fire flies as the small insects floated about. The other fillies and colts giggled as it was clear, the small nymph had never seen fire flies before and had become so captivated by them. From their hiding place both Twilight and Chrysalis were smiling at how the whole thing had went down, though after about another half hour Chrysalis was forced to reveal herself as Shiva had fallen asleep on the grass, the small nymph looked rather cute curled up in a ball amongst the long blades of grass.
After everyone had gone home and said their goodbye's Chrysalis took her daughter back to their room and tucked her into a pod bed. Placing a kiss on her daughters forehead she went and sat by the large window, for a while she stared up at the star filled sky, catching glimpses of the flashing lights that marked where a starship was. It was then that a thought occurred to her, maybe this was supposed to happen not just for Equestria but for the whole planet maybe this was the second chance she had be searching for, for so long
"There shall be no more ponynapping, or replacing of others with drones after, this coming trial the changelings must change our ways for the betterment of ourselves and the bigger galactic community" She said with a firmness in her voice.
yet unknown to her, this was just one of many trials yet ahead, but as we all know all new things or ideas have a rocky start.
