She did it. Her lifelong dream. The most beautiful of nights.

The moon rose through the forest brightening up clouds in front of it. Luna swooped in front of it. And suddenly the earth shook.

Beautiful Night.

Luna pushed the piano into the middle. "Why doesn't this have wheels?" she mumbled.

Meanwhile...

"When is the show starting? My mane is getting ruffled and my brush is filling up with my hair!" Rarity groaned.

"Well you have to be patient sometimes." Twilight said. "This is like a lifetime event. And we've got asked to it. We've just got to wait." Shortly after Pinkie gasped.

"OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH I THINK ITS STARTING!" she pointed to the stars in the sky. They were flipped just like cards over and over again.

"They're changing colors!" Fluttershy gaped. "They are so beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you..." Rainbow landed next to Fluttershy and nuzzled her on the cheek. She giggled nervously in response.

The stars meanwhile started turning faster until each one let out an explosion of sparkles of white. Then they turned their heads to the moon. Inside of it was a picture of a heart. Princess Luna flew up in front of it and pointed to the side.

"OH MY..." Rarity scrambled to Twilight and hugged her back. "I-Its back!"

"The Ursa major!" Applejack cried. "Well I'll be. I haven't seen one for such a long time! Except the time..." She winked at Twilight. "But that was a minor. But a major..."

It stormed through the trees crushing them and went over to greet Luna. "She's gonna eat her!" Pinkie cried. "We gotta tell Celestia!" BUT Celestia saw it very clearly. Hiding behind an oak tree she watched. Pinkie started to stop after Celestia cast a quiet spell on her.

Luna's horn sparkled and caused an explosion of sparkles this time blue. A cyan swan flew up from the trees and started checking out Luna but she just told her to sit and watch.

"The Alora?" Celestia stared at the duck and muttered. "She can't summon something so... powerful. Created by Starswirl protected Equestria for 100 years until Starswirl died and it mysteriously disappeared." the thought made her wonder if she was wrong about her sister.

"AMAZING! An Alora in front of me!" Twilight gasped.

Luna pointed a massive spotlight made by stars in between the swan and the bear. And what came out gave Rarity a heart attack. Literally.

"A-a scor..." she fainted.

"A scorpion!" Twilight cried. "That's Scorpio!"

"Scorpio. Cadence's star sign. Created by Princess Solar. Saved us from a changeling attack. Left to find his creator who passed away more then 10 years ago. My my she has been doing her work." Celestia nodded in approval at Twilight who didn't notice her mentor.

The orange scorpion frightened the swan at first and it showed its fear by flapping its wings but settled down a few seconds later.

"Hush now Alora." Luna smiled warmly at the swan. She whimpered like Luna was her mother.

Then the earth shook violently. "W-whoa!" Rainbowdash held onto Fluttershy while she huddled under her arm.

"H-Hold on girls!" Twilight called holding down the picnic blanket with Rarity. Finally the earth slowed to a sudden stop.

"Whats that?" Applejack pointed to a green figure.

"It's the jade dragon!" Twilight cried. "Awesome!"

The animals only hung around for a few minutes before they all burst into sparkles. Luna didn't seem concerned she kept on playing the piano.

"W-what happened to them?" Fluttershy looked around. Right when they thought it was the end Luna banged one loud note and the four animals appeared right in front of them.

"Whoa..." Twilight reached up to touch the dragon but got snatched up by it in its teeth. He chucked her up in the air. "AHH!" she wailed. Before she was flattened into the ground the dragon caught her on top of his head. "This is so cool!" she screeched waving her arms everywhere.

"Sweet!"

"I wanna try!"

"I would like a turn on the swan..." The others scrambled onto whichever animal was left.

"Woohoo!" Rainbow yelled from the Ursa Major. "THIS IS AWESOME!"

"I know right! I never thought I'd ride an Ursa Major!" Fluttershy called back hanging from the bear's ear.

Luna looked over at the girls. She smiled to herself before clapping her two hooves together. The four animals shook the girls off before vanishing into thin air.

"W-wait what?" Applejack said. "Oh no.." Free falling through the air they struggled to find a way back up.

"Fluttershy come on!" Rainbow dashed down into the canyon Fluttershy trailing behind her.

"We won't make it!" Fluttershy cried.

"Not if we're not fast enough!"

"But I'm not fast e-enough!" Fluttershy started falling behind harshly.

"Well then... hurry up!" Rainbow sped up faster making Fluttershy fall behind quicker.

"Rainbow!" Twilight squealed. Suddenly just as she was about to grab onto Rainbow's arm Rainbow's wings closed suddenly as well as Fluttershy's wings.

"W-wait what?!" She stammered.

"HEEEELLLLPPPP!" Fluttershy screamed.

"Wait! I'll cast a spell! Rarity help me!" Twilight tried summoning her horn. It unfortunately didn't glow.

"W-what this can't be happening!" Rarity cried.

"My horn!" Twilight cried.

"What does Luna want anyway?!" Pinkie cried.

"I dunno but it's not good!" Applejack cried. Suddenly out of nowhere parachutes appeared on their backs.

"PULL THE PLUG!" Pinkie gripped the plug and pulled it as hard as she could. A massive parachute blew up from her bag and she flew up into the air. The others flew up beside her.

"This is amazing!" Twilight cried.

"Rarity is your horn working?" Fluttershy said trying to open her wings.

"No... not yet." She sighed.

They glided gracefully through the clouds. "Watch out!" Applejack cried. Razor shooting stars shot out from below. Each and every one a different color.

"Wow!"

"I love that star!"

"This is beautiful!" gasps of awe filled the night.

"And for the finale!" Luna mumbled. Her horn was sore. She felt like dropping to the ground like a stone but she knew she couldn't stop the show so suddenly. She had to go on.

5 different colored starts flew out in front of them. 3 stars on the right shaped a balloon, a cloud with a lightning bolt coming out of it and a diamond. On the other side an apple and a butterfly.

"Look at my cutie mark!"

"Mine looks amazing!"

"That diamond shimmers like mine!"

Twilight stayed quiet watching the stars fade. Why isn't her cutie mark up there? What did she do? She was going to give up hope but a flash on pink sparkles and white sparkles exploded into the dark night lighting up the area and could be seen from thousands of miles away. Twilight's cutie mark shimmered making the other stars seem like they were tiny light bulbs. Twilight couldn't speak. Her cutie mark was fabulous. Even better then fabulous. Words could not describe the expressions on their faces.

After the sparkles faded into the night they were left there gliding in mid air taking in the whole experience. A massive star appearing under them and lifted them up onto the land again. They were still standing on the land with mouths wide open.

Luna stared at them from the moon. They weren't moving. I-is this good or bad? She thought. Maybe I gave them to much of a shock... She flew down in front of them. There was a long silence between the girls and Luna. "What did you think of the show girls?" Luna asked hoping to get a response from anypony.

"I thought it was beautiful." A white alicorn stepped out from behind the bushes and smiled softly at the ponies. The girls snapped out of their trance and immediately bowed down to the ruler of the land.

"Sister! What... why are you here?" Luna stammered. Her mind was racing. Did she watch? Why was she watching? What does she think of me? I broke the rules... On the outside Luna was scared but on the inside she was flipping tables. But it all stopped when she asked herself one question. Why am I scared? She stopped and stared. Well why are you? Luna tried to respond to the little voice but she had no answer to her own question. She then felt a warm feeling in her stomach. It spread throughout her body. And she knew what it was. It was courage.
