Prolouge
In the world of Equestria, two brave and noble sister alicorns ruled over Canterlot. The Sun princess, Celestia and the Moon princess, Luna. When the day had come, Princess Twilight Sparkle became the princess of Friendship and was given a kingdom with her and her noble friends. Everypony lived in harmony until some ponies thought if alicorns could live forever maybe they could create something so other ponies could do the same.
Two ponies, a unicorn stallion, Dr. HealTouch and a unicorn mare, Nurse Medical Light started to use dark magic that was forbiddoned to create the Alicorn Life Spell.
Dr. HealTouch and Nurse Medical Light created their first sample of the Spell in a liquid type substance but first they needed a test subject so they used rabbits, a typical animal used for testing, nothing seemed to happen to the animals. But when word got out that the duo was using animals they were told to stop and stopped they did, for all they needed were ponies to test out. So they choice random ponies from ponyville to help their project but the ponies didnt know they were being used for testing.
"Hello," Vinyl Scratch yawned answering the phone
"Hello, Famous Pony" a male voice was heard on the other end, " you have been invited to sign a record deal for your amazing DJ works."
"ARE. YOU. SERIOUS!!" Vinyl was heard on the line cheering " this is so awesome! where do I have to go?!"
"You must go to Manehatten, by tonight at the Bucking Record Studios on Main Street"
"Tonight? Oh well that's such short noticed an-"
"You will be escorted by my worker and all you have to do is follow him and his instructions" the male caller instructed to the white DJ.
Vinyl finally gave in "Okay, I'll do it, you won't be dissapointed by my works" Vinyl then hung up and got her things packed
By the afternoon Vinyl had all she needed to go to Manehatten, she walked to the train station when she noticed a Dark Olive stallion with no cutie mark waiting. Vinyl slowly walked over and it caught the stallion's eyes makin her jump lightly.
"You must be Vinyl Scratch" the voice was low and raspy " I am Nocuma" he introduced himself " I will be escorting you to Bucking Record Studios."
Vinyl just nodded her head and saw the stallion picking up her bags, taking them in the train. The white mare followed watching Nocuma sit down as she sat across from him.
The train ride was so quiet and awkward Nocuma often stared out the window for so long, not even blinking. The train finally had stopped in Manehatten, the olive stallion tooked Vinyl's bags and called for a taxi. She got in the taxi but her escorter didnt follow, the taxi took off taking her to her destination.
Arriving at the building it didnt look like a studio, it just looked like a tall empty building. Vinyl walked in noticing no one inside.
"Am I in the wrong building?" She whispered
"No, youre in the right place" a white and red mare came out with a sergical needle and a heart as her cutimark.
Vinyl looked at the mare in confusion " are you one of the ponies that signed a deal with Bucking Record Studios?"
The mare smiled " No, deary. I am the wife of the Bucking Record Studios director. Come with me."
The red and white mare walked into two doors and Vinyl followed, she then noticed two buff stallions standing behind them, following. Vinyl gulped and followed closer to the other mare they then stopped as Vinyl saw a metal door.
The mare opened it and smiled "please step inside for your next instructions."
Vinyl walked inside noticing Octavia, Lyra Heartstrings, Derpy, and Big Macintosh. The door was slammed closed and all what was inside was a white room. The white mare looked all around and saw a window she looked back at the other four and saw nothing but sadness.
"You've been tricked Vinyl" Lyra sighed before the DJ mare could get a word out
"We all have been tricked" Octavia said as she laid down
All five then heard a click then a voice, the same voice that was heard over the phone.
"Welcome, ponies. You have all been sent here to help me with my project."
"What kind of project would that be?" Big Mac grunted out standing up
"My wife and I, have created a spell that could make ponies have alicorn aging." The stallion responded
"Alicorn aging? But thats a crime against pony history?" Vinyl called out
"It does not matter what you think, you are all my toys and toys must do what their masters say."
"I'd rather have my back leg blown off before I try any of your spells!" Lyra called out
A chuckle was then heard "is that so?"
A robotic unlicking sound was heard and the ponies looked around. A blast came from one of the corners and suddenly Lyra's back leg was blown off flying across the room. The mare screamed in pain falling to the ground shaking. The others stared wide eyed as Lyra laied in a small pool of her leg blood. Vinyl ran over and tried to stop the bleeding but only caused her hooves to be drenched in blood.
"Anypony else want to test me?" The stallion asked
No pony spoke up only Lyra's cries and whimpers were heard. They heard an unlinking sound again and they all panicked looking around. A small glass of gooey red liquid was seen distributed into five glasses on a table. Lyra panted and looked at the glasses she gritted her teeth. Derpy walked over to one of glasses and drank a small bit, her body shivered then she drank the rest. Every pony just stood and stared at Derpy, the gray mare looked around smacking her lips then looked at them. The wall-eyed gray pony gave a goofy smiled then her eye balls popped put of her skull, causing the others the scream. Derpy called out in pain as blood poured from her mouth, ears, and nose. Derpy spreaded her wings but the feathers and skin melted off leaving nothing but bone. She started to throw her heard around causing her eye balls to disconnect and fall to the ground, she cried out in pain then fell to the ground with silence. The others tears poured down their faces and stared in fear as their once friend became a dead corpse.
"It seems no talent ponies cant live forever" The stallion spoke " Octavia, maybe a brilliant earth pony like you could take the spell."
"Tavi, no!" Vinyl yelled and stepped in front of her.
"Vinyl" she sighed and hugged her mare friend " we're the best of friends and If I take this spell and survive we can go home."
" or. End up. Like. Derpy" Lyra panted
"We don't really have much of a choice, now do we" Octavia said walking past Vinyl taking the glass.
Vinyl stepped back watching her best friend drink the liquid. Octavia groaned and she started to shake, she threw her body backwards and laid on the ground as her stomache began to swell. Vinyl was held back by Big Mac, as Octavia drooled out a green substance her stomache then exploded covering them all in stinky green goo. Only Octavia's lower half was left, Vinyl cried out and covered her eyes.
No pony seemed to notice Derpy twitching, she lifted her head and growled. She got up and limped over to the three still alive, Big Mac heard the growl and turned as Derpy tried to bite the stallion. Big Mac threw the eyeless pony into the wall but that didnt stop her, she got up and ran to him. He jumped out of the way and Derpy slammed against the wall she growled and gurgled.
"Cover your alls eyes, quickly" Big Mac yelled out
The two mares closed their eyes and all was heard was a giant stomp and something being crushed. They opened their eyes seeing Big Mac with a hoof on once was Derpy's head. The body stopped twitching and Big Mac was covered in the mare's blood he walked over to the farthest corner and sat down.
Lyra crawled over and drank the liquid before Vinyl could stop her, Lyra looked at Vinyl and blood dripped from her eyes. She stood up and started to laugh, she smiled big and turned to see the gun that shot her leg off. She grinned and bounced off the walls grabbing the gun, trying to pull it off its hoister. Lyra eventually got it out and she fell to the ground, the mare used her magic to lift the shot gun and screamed with laughter. Vinyl watched as the music pony cocked the shot gun and put in her mouth, with one click of the trigger Lyra's brain colored the white wall. The body of the mare fell to the ground and Vinyl whimpered sitting down. She looked over at Big Mac who remained silent, the mare looked at the window.
" it seems pony kind wasn't ready for my creation, you two will remain in this room until further notice," the stallion commented
Vinyl panted heavily then suddenly vomited from the smell of corpses. The stallion in the corner stared down at the bite on his leg his body felt weak and sick. Vinyl laied down on her side breathing heavily as Big Mac groaned at the pain in his stomache. The mare looked at Big Mac with half lidded eyes, the stallion's muscles grew larger and he roared.
Vinyl got up in an panic and slammed on the door, "LET ME OUT! PLEASE! Celestia's mercy please let me out!!"
The once Big Mac turned and stared at the white mare, she cried out as he roared and ran over to her. With all his force the stallion slammed his body into Vinyl causing her to cough up blood. He grabbed the mare by neck and threw her against wall, it nearly broke every bone in the mares' body. The stallion ran over and did it over and over until Vinyl's bones were all broken, she cried in pain and her heart slowed down. Big Mac walked over to the barely alived mare and started to rip out her insides and ate her alive, Vinyl screamed one last time and died.
The enraged stallion slammed against the metal denting it, Dr. HealTouch panic and called out on the microphone.
"Guards, everypony to sector 2! Stop that stallion! Don't hold back fire, I want that monster dead!" His voice was in a panic but still brave
Every pony guard had their guns ready as the door began to dent more and more. The slamming suddenly stopped and Dr. HealTouch stood behind three bodyguard ponies. The door suddenly flew open crushing some of ponies, the guards started to open fire, the huge stallion ran into the crowd of gun fire ponies crushing their head with his huge hooves. He threw and tossed them around, Dr. HealTouch was guided out the building and a pyro pony set the building a blaze. The stallion inside slammed through the walls then reach outside, ponies of Manehatten panicked and screamed running away. The muscle stallion roared and was shot in the head, but it didnt take him down. Nurse Medical Light was inside the burning building she coughed as smoke filled her lungs, she looked around then saw a pony on fire walking towards her groaning. She backed up then felt another body, she turned around and suddenly a wet long thing clenched around her body. She cried out for help and screamed she looked over to she filly with huge fangs the small one started to chew the Nurse's face off. Medical Light was then eaten alive by the massacre the pony eating zombies.
Dr. HealTouch cried lightly and saw what his spell was doing to the ponies, he eventually called them the Undead. He started telling everypony to get out of Manehatten, get out of Equestria. The Undead or Infected was mass spreading and no one could stop it, not even the Princesses could stop this. Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, Princess Cadence, and Princess Twilight tried to evacuate the pony citizens but some were left behind.
This is where the story begins, one year after the outbreak of the infection. We meet four ponies who were told about a safe place they could go and live their lives.
Our first pony is a unicorn mare, she has a maroon body with white hair, her cutiemark is a dynamite with an explosion in the background. She is known by the name of Boom Blast she worked with her father in the mines and was taught how to make dynamite. She was working when this all happened she managed to escaped but she had to leave her mining family behind to die, she had no choice.
The second pony, is a blue earth pony colt with darker blue markings with a red mohawk mane and small tail. His cutie mark with a smiley face with 'x' out eyes and bulled hole in the head. He is known by his buddies as TriggerHappy. He loves rifles and shot guns and when exicited about killing, he goes wild shooting the target until the barrel is empty. He was at shooting practice when the infected arrived, he survived with minor wounds but had to kill his best friend when he was bit.
The third pony, is an stallion earth pony who doesnt speak every much. He is a dark purple pony with gray mane and tail in a ponytail. His cutie mark is a sword with two ribbon strings coming from the handle. He wields a long katana and likes to be called Ranger but his full name is Close Range.
The last pony isnt a pony at all, its a pegasi zebra. Working as a doctor he knows his way around the Medical Room. He is white with pink stripes light gray mane and tail with red stripes through those. His cutie mark is a hospital plus sign with stars around it, his name is BrokenMeds. He was helping patients evacuate but he was told to stay behind by the Wonderbolts Emergency and Defense Agency(WEDA) and was told thwy will be back for him. But they never did come back in fact he never heard from them ever again.
The four will have to work together to survive and reach the safe zone. Here is their story.
