That's what ponies do at night; sleep. It's quite a simple thing, filled with wonders and dreams, or fears and nightmares, and it never fails to surprise Dash. She, in fact, was dreaming of flying. Soaring through the clouds, she was lighter than a feather on her wing. The cool breeze would blow through her hair, and clouds would tickle her nose and body. She had this dream quite often, for she loved flying, and what would be better than to dream about that? Sometimes, she would be accepted into the highest position in the wonderbolts, or she would save Equestria with her awesome SONIC RAINBOOM! But tonight, she was just flying. No typical Rainbow Dash action or suspense, just peace. The clouds slowly turned into a magenta shade, with curls that reminded her of her special somepony, Pinkie Pie. She let the earth pony's hair ingulf her body with love and joy, and then she remembered something. Though it was not soon enough for her special somepony to. "RAINBOW DASH!" Rainbow woke up to her nice fleece bed with a drool stained pillow. "Huh? Pinkie Pie?" The pink earth pony was at the bedroom doorway with a cart next to her. A apron and chef hat on the earth pony and the smell of pancakes everywhere. "Happy hearts and hooves day, silly!" Pinkie Pie said with a light boop on the pegasus's nose. "I made you breakfast. For you in bed! Breakfast in bed!" She squeed as Rainbow Dash positioned herself upright in her bed. The cart was closer, with 17 pancakes on a pink, swirly plate. Eight of the pancakes, Pinkie Pie's of course, were all silly shapes topped with whipped cream as the faces. They were scattered with rainbow sprinkles, just the way Pinkie like it. The pegasus turned to her nine pancakes, which all were heart shaped with butter and maple syrup. Blueberries topped them off with a single drop of honey on top. Man, Pinkie knew what she wanted and how she wanted it. "You did this for me?" Dash asked with a warm smile. "Of course! It's a day for us and I wanted it to be great!" Rainbow Dash leaned in and pecked the earth pony's cheek. "Love ya, Pinks." "Love ya too!" she responded with a big smile. "Anything for my Dashie!" That made the pegasus blush while she started eating the pancakes, and Pinkie did not hesitate to start eating hers. After the mares finished, Dash started to begin her plan for the day. "Pinkie, I have a surprise for you, but it will require flying." Pinkie waved a hoof, "I'll just take my Candycopter 3.9!" "No, Pinkie," Dash said. "You're coming with me." The pink mare had a look of confusion and Rainbow Dash led her outside. The pegasus went airborne and held out her hooves. "C'mon, you can trust me!" The other mare put her hooves in Dash's and was lifted off the ground. The pegasus held her while flying at a moderate pace. They past fluffy clouds and other pegasi. "WEEEE! This is so fun, Dashie! Thank you for doing this!" Pinkie Pie screamed. The pegasus blushed as they slowly landed on a grassy hill outside of Ponyville. The two mares lied down in the grass and looked up at the clouds passing by. "Hey!" Dash said, pointing a hoof. "That cloud looks like a rabbit!" Pinkie Pie agreed that it did, indeed, was a rabbit. "But that one is an apple!" she pointed out. They continued pointing out different shapes in the clouds until Dash thought it was the right time. "Hey, Pinks. I have the surprise now, but you can't see it first. I'll tell you when you can," she said. Pinkie closed her eyes as Dash soared to the clouds, spinning them. She formed one into a circular oval, with a similar shape inside it with cloud in between. She flew down to a bush where she hid a box the day before, and grabbed it. Now she opened the box to make sure no one stole it's items inside. She sighed a relief when they were there and took the note out of the box and closed it again. She placed it by Pinkie's hooves and told her to open her eyes and look down and read the note. The other mare did as she was told and read the note aloud. "Look up." She did so and saw the cloud that her special somepony had made. "Hey Dashie! That one looks like a wedding ring! Dashie?" she asked as she turned around to the pegasus. "Yea, like the one I'm gonna put on your hoof," she said as she held out a box. It contained a ring with a note attached that read. Will you marry me? The earth pony teared up with happiness and threw herself to Dash. "Yes! A thousand times yes! I love you Dashie!" Rainbow Dash returned the hug. "Love ya too, Pinks." > Twishy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you read the first chapter, you know that Rainbow Dash was asleep at first. Well, guess what? Fluttershy is too. Yet she was dreaming of litter critters bouncing along the moorside, their noses twitching and their tails flouncing. She was with them, in fact, and was bouncing along with. This dream made her happy inside, almost as much as Twilight made her. She then remembered that it was Hearts and Hooves day, the day where most couples would celebrate. Sadly, Twilight had to attend to princess business in the crystal empire, so they could not celebrate. Fluttershy didn't mind this, though, for she had animals to take care of. She woke up then, knowing that she had to feed her animals. She trotted downstairs in her tiny cottage and opened her pantry of animal food. She ate a few crackers herself as she approach a note on the table. Hey Fluttershy, I'm sorry I can't be with you on the most romantic day of the year, but I love you. I know you have owl food so I didn't bring any over. He will come over if he's hungry. See you tomorrow, sweetie, and have a wonderful day Twilight Fluttershy's heart swelled just to see her marefriend's hoofwriting. She put the note back down on her table and went outside, hooves full of food. She scattered food about the animal pens for her critters to eat. She hummed a tune to herself as she fed the animals. She did this everyday and she enjoyed it. She saw couples passing by and waved to them as they went along. She had to admit, she was sad she couldn't spend the day with Twilight, but she had a job to do. She finished her work when Twilight's owl came by. She quickly got owl food and placed it besides him. The owl dropped a note from his beak and started to eat while Fluttershy read the letter. Hey Fluttershy, I decided for this day that I should treat you to a surprise, so I have a series of clues to get to your surprise. Here is the first one: Go get yourself a treat, it's all on me. Fluttershy pondered at the clue, but not for long. She knew that she had to buy a treat at Sugarcube Corner. She said goodbye to her animals as she flew to the bakery. She was greeted by Pinkie Pie, Bouncing up and down with glee. "Hey Flutters! Twilight sent you here?" Fluttershy nodded. "Great! Pick out whatever you want!" Fluttershy decided to go with the usual. "Just a lemon tart with apple juice." "On the house!" Pinkie shouted as she brought it over within seconds. "Your year-younger-than-you auntie is always here to help!" Fluttershy just rolled her eyes as she started to eat at a table. She picked up her glass when a note fell off from beneath it. Enjoyed your meal? I hope you did, I mean it is your usual. But from this apple juice came an apple, and the apple from a tree. You know where to go next. "Ooooo! What does it say?" Pinkie Pie asked. "That I need to go to Sweet Apple acres," she responded. She said goodbye to Pinkie Pie and then flew to the farm, where Applejack was bucking trees. "Howdy Fluttershy!" she said. Fluttershy responded back and asked what she was doing here. "Well to help buck apples, of course!" Applejack said. Fluttershy had helped before, so she didn't need the run down. The pegasus started buck, lighter than her friends. Eventually, on one tree, a note fell out. Are your legs sore? If they do, that's fine! You need a bit of a treatment, anyways. It is a Rare occasion. "Rarity at the spa," she said after a good minute. She said goodbye to Applejack and flew to the spa, her body getting tired. She was greeted by not only Rarity, but Aloe, Lotus, and a full on spa treatment. It was relaxing to say the least, and the two ponies went to the counter for the bill. "I got the bill, darling, but you have to signed it," Rarity said. Fluttershy was confused. They never had to signed the bill. She slowly took the receipt and say a note written on it. Gotta love those spa ponies, do it perfect every time. Unlike a pegasus we know, who crashes eventually. Fluttershy stared at the note in confusion. She knew who the pony she should meet was, but where should she go? She decided to trot outside to look around for her friend, when she was suddenly hit by said pony. "Oh, sorry Fluttershy!" Rainbow Dash said. "Can you help me pick up my things!" Rainbow Dash had dropped a slew of items ranging from feathers to beads to a note. She picked up the note and read it. Well, that was fast, no pun intended! Well, I'm the only one of our friends you haven't seen, so come to the castle! Fluttershy was excited to see her marefriend and flew quickly to the rainbow castle. She landed in front of the door to see Twilight there, with Spike of course, and flowers grasped by her magic on her left side, and a ring on her right. "Hey Flutters. I never had any business, I just wanted to ask you if you wanted to be my wife." Fluttershy pulled her now fiance into a kiss as she whispered. "Yes." > Rarijack > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was February 14th. A Monday. To Applejack, it was another day on the farm, while to others, like her special somepony Rarity, saw it as the Hearts and Hooves day. Applejack wasn't against the holiday, it's just that she had a job on the farm to do, and nothing else. She did plan to take Rarity out for dinner tonight at the local restaurant, but nothing else was planned. She bucked an apple tree as said unicorn came up to her. "Happy Hearts and Hooves day, dear," Rarity said as she planted a kiss on her lover's cheek. Applejack blushed. "As to you. I'm sorry Rarity that I couldn't plan something until evening, it's just I have to buck all of these dead apples of the tree for new ones and-" "Don't worry. I actually had something planned for you. I know you're a little busy, but I want you to relax for a day. Go to the spa and get a massage, it's on me!" the unicorn said. "Aw, shucks, Rares. You didn't have to do that for me. I know that if I decline you'll convince me anyways so yes, thank you." Applejack knew Rarity better than the unicorn's parents. Rarity nodded and sent her off without her. Applejack entered the spa and looked at the menu. Aloe looked at the farm pony, covered in dirt. "Rarity sent you?" Applejack nodded in response. Lotus appeared. "Figures, you would never come here otherwise." Aloe glared at her sister and motioned Applejack to go to the back to get her treatment. It was a deep massage that loosened her sore muscles from the bucking. The dirt on her was washed off with warm, soapy water as her mane was scrubbed. She didn't even get the time to worry about the fields in this state of relaxation. The last time she was at the spa was back when her friends and she want there for a friendly outing. Otherwise, she nor Rainbow Dash make any appearance near the spa whatsoever. Aloe and Lotus enjoyed the rare customers, with deeper knots in their backs or more sore wings, with maybe more tips? They smiled as they continued the treatment. After the treatment was done, they led out their customer to the front counter where they went over the prices. Applejack left some bits on the table for tips and went to the cafe to meet Rarity. Said unicorn was elegantly dressed with red draping her soft, white coat. Her hair was extra curly and more mascara was applied. "Wow," Applejack said, "you look beautiful. You know you don't have to dress up for me. I like you better on the inside." Rarity blushed. "But I won't argue to this either!" The two mares laughed and seated themselves at an outside table. They said their orders whist sipping on their high quality drinks and talked about their days. The dinner soon arrived and went away, and the two walked back to Sweet Apple Acres. "You know I do love you, Applejack," Rarity said. "Of course I do! And I love you back!" Applejack said. "Shucks, now I have to go back to work." Rarity shook her head and motioned her hoof to the field. The trees were all apple and leaf free, showing the snow beneath it. "How did you do this?" Applejack asked with awe. "Well, I have a few connections," Rarity said, "and a magical horn." "Oh right!" Applejack laughed as she kissed her marefriend in the sunset > Scootabelle > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It was hearts and hooves day. A day where adults got the day off to spend their day with their special somepony. Except that teenage mares like Scootaloo had mid terms that day. On a holiday! Scootaloo groaned as she was passed a giant stack of papers. She dreaded this test every year, and ever since she and her friends got her cutie marks, there was nothing to think about. She looked at the first question. Around what age does a cow start eating solids? What did Scootaloo think? She thought that her life did not depend on cows. Why did she need to know this stuff anyways? She rolled her eyes as she bombed the questions, actually answering ones that she knew. She thought about the holiday and what she should do for her special somepony, Sweetie Belle. They had a mellow relationship for now, as school work had to come first and her classmates were still not 'mature enough' for serious dating. She remembered that she had reserved tickets to a movie that her marefriend was dying to see. She grew excited to see the look on her face when she saw the tickets. Scootaloo didn't even know why she was excited; she didn't even like the movie. She didn't care for her own needs, for this was a day for both of them. Soon enough, Cheerilee called for attention. "The bell will ring in five minutes; pass up your answer sheets." Scootaloo handed her test to the foal who sat in front of her, Snails. She snorted at the thought of him touching the paper, but then realized that she should think better. The bell rung and the young teens ran out the door for the weekend. Sweetie Belle was walking when Scootaloo scootered up to her, an envelope in hand. "Hey, Sweetie," she said, kissing her cheek. "I got something for you." Sweetie Belle took and opened the envelope and saw the two tickets. She gasped. "You don't mean you got us tickets to 'Hooves in Hooves'!" "I did!" Scootaloo boasted. She hugged her marefriend. "I gotta go to Dash's house to feed Tank; I'll meet you at the theatre!" She scootered as fast as she could to her sister's cloud home. She flew up to the door and inserted a key. Why Rainbow Dash trusted her with a key, she didn't know. She went to the pantry to find turtle food and filled the bowl with the boring pellets. She quickly made her way back to the theatre where Sweetie Belle was waiting. "Hey! I figured since you got me the tickets, I got us food!" Sweetie Belle said. She held out a pack of sweet tarts for her, and a pack of mini donuts for Scootaloo, her favorite too if I might add. "Thanks!" Scootaloo said, kissing the mare again. They entered the theatre and sat down in their seats. The room was moderately full of couples, snacking on popcorn or sipping their sodas. Scootaloo popped a donut in her mouth and prepared for the cheesiest movie ever. After the movie, the couple walked up and sat on a nearby hill. "I can't believe that movie was good!" Scootaloo said. Sweetie nodded and smiled. "Oh, Sweetie! I have something for you." Scootaloo held out a box. The unicorn opened it to find a horn ring. She gasped. "I couldn't give you much today, but with all the couples proposing I thought I might give you a promise ring. Sweetie Belle, do you promise to be with me forever?" The unicorn teared up and embraced her marefriend. She nodded quickly and put on the ring. "I love it." Sweetie Belle whispered. "I love you." > Spikebloom > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Spike!" Spike woke up from his bed. "Huh?" Twilight groaned. "If you were awake, you would've heard me say to go outside. It's unusually cold for Hearts and Hooves day, so I need the castle for and experiment." "Hearts and Hooves Day! I almost forgot to see Applebloom! See ya!" Spike shouted as he put on his winter clothes and sprinted out the door. He had wings now, so he decided to fly to Applebloom's house at Sweet Apple Acres. He knocked on his marefriend's door as a big stallion answered it. "Eeyup?" Big Mac asked looking at the dragon. "Oh, Applebloom was sick yesterday, remember? She's sleeping in and I am going out to shovel." Spike thought for a moment and then stopped Big Mac. "Wait! Don't shovel! I'll do it!" Big Mac hesitated and gave Spike his shovel. "The barn needs a cleaning out anyways." "Thanks Big Mac! I owe you now!" Spike shouted as he left. Spike found that the entrance to the Apple household lined up with his marefriend's room. He sighed in relief that his plan would work. He started shoveling in the top left corner, doing one long stroke and backtracking to the middle of it. Applebloom sat in her room, coughing a fit. She hated being sick, and she couldn't imagine how sad Spike was to not spend Hearts and Hooves day with her. She sighed as she opened her closet door. She found an assortment of bows piling up on the bottom. She grabbed one a tied it o her head, resting in the same nook as it always did. Then, her sister Applejack came in the room with steaming pancakes. "Hey, sis. How ya feeling?" she asked. "Better." "Well good. I feel like by lunchtime you can come and help with chores outside, but for now, how 'bout you clean your room?" "Why not?" Applebloom said. Applejack ignored the sarcasm. "That's the spirit! See you around lunchtime!" She left the room. Applebloom turned to her closet. "Well, I might as well start here. Spike was making some progress, to say the least. It was going good so far, not a single mistake. The wind hid his face with a wall of dusty snow. It sent him shivering but he knew he had to be done by lunch. He pushed on, knowing that his hard work would be rewarded, and not with just hot chocolate. He remembered the first time he met Applebloom, ready to feast on the brunch that she convinced Twilight to have. It was delicious, to say the least. He also thought of the first time he asked her out. He was nervous, shaking a storm. If everypony in town didn't know about his silly crush on Rarity, he would be more confident. He managed to make that crush a thing of the past, and that didn't mind Applebloom. She was happy as a clam when he asked her out, like she was waiting for it to happen. Applebloom was sorting through her things, looking at pictures of her and Spike. They were still young teenagers, looking for life. She remembered crushing on him so bad for at least two years before he finally asked her out. She thought that she would jump out of her coat she was so happy. She remembered their first kiss, under the moonlight with only stars watching them. She felt as if that was the best moment of her life, tasting his punch flavored lips. She blushed heavily when she thought about him, and just the thought of seeing him gave her butterflies. Applejack called it true love, and for once Applebloom agreed. She wondered if Spike felt the same, feeling nervous when he had to see her, being excited to kiss her. She always wondered if her lips tasted like apples. That wouldn't be surprising if they did. She giggled at the thought. She was so silly! Applejack also said that ponies acted crazy when they were in love. Applebloom once argued that she was fine, but now she begged to differ. Spike dusted off his claws and looked at his masterpiece. It looked great in his opinion, and the weather wasn't apposing him. He found a nice, small pebble and through it up to Applebloom's window. Applebloom heard a tap on her window. She ran and opened it to find Spike leaning on a shovel. He motioned to look at his work, and it read. I love you, AB! Applebloom gasped and tears came up. That was the sweetest thing anypony has ever done to her. She ran downstairs and out the door and into Spike's arms. "I love you too, Spike." > Twidash > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The clock said it was eight o'clock. The calendar said it was Hearts and Hooves Day. Rainbow Dash said she was tired. She was asleep in her bed, like a normal Saturday. Well, until a knock at the door. She got up, still tired and groggy, and went to the door. She opened it to find Twilight there, with saddlebags on her back. "Oh, hey Twilight! You're lucky you're cute, or I would've punched you for waking me up early." Twilight giggled. "I know you wouldn't do that anyways. Happy Hearts and Hooves Day!" "You too, Twi," Dash responded. "What are planning to do?" Twilight always had a plan for days like today, and she braced herself. Twilight smiled, "Right! I brought four movies to watch over the course of the day, with three different board games, including Hooftales, Monopony, and, of course, Uno! I also brought soft blankets for us to lay under, and I know it isn't the right holiday, but here!" She picked up a piece of holly. "Isn't it supposed to be mistletoe?" Twilight blushed. "Oh! Here it is!" she lifted the correct one and pecked Dash on the lips. After they broke the kiss, Rainbow Dash wondered. "What about food?" Twilight's smile diminished. "Oh no! Today is ruined! I could have brought snacks! Oh, Rainbow! I'm so so so so so sorry!" "Hey, don't worry, I just went shopping yesterday; I have food." Twilight sighed in relief and went further inside the cloud home. "What are we doing first again?" "We have to watch the new Daring Do movie, duh!" Twilight said. "You have it?" Rainbow exclaimed. That movie just came out that morning! Many stores weren't even open! "I'm not trying to brag, but being a princess has its perks," she said softly. She blushed as Rainbow Dash hugged her and took the disk. She inserted it into her DVR and hit play. There wasn't much modern pony technology for now, so Dash was lucky to have a DVR. The movie started playing in the background as Twilight set up Uno. They had went to the movie as a date at least three times, so they didn't even have to watch it to know what was going on. They continued their first game, yet not for very long. Rainbow Dash had three cards left when Twilight shouted, "Uno!" Of course, her last card was a pick a color card so she automatically won, but Twilight was the one pony she wasn't competitive against. They played many more rounds until they were tied even. They shook hooves for a good game and then moved unto Monopony. Twilight was the master at this game, considering she was big into politics and stuff. Rainbow Dash never went down without a fight, though, and she went a majority of the game in the lead. Twilight still won, though, but the difference in bits was closer than usual. Her winning wan't surprising, as Rainbow Dash has extremely bad luck in always landing on the 'go to jail' space. She would always laugh it off, though, because it would make Twilight laugh too. Her laugh sounded like honey, if honey had a sound, that is. They then moved onto Hooftales. The goal of the game is to get the most points. They each got one stack of cards with random phrases, and for good measure, one that they each wrote at the bottom of the pile for the end. They would draw a sentence card and then flip down their top card. They would then decide which one was funnier. Once their piles were gone, the one with more points won. It was a complete game of luck. Rainbow Dash flipped up the first card. Summer days are more fun with.... Twilight's card read: "a green kangaroo kicking your chest," and Dash's read: "a murder or two." The two cracked up at Dash's and continued to play. In the end, all that was left was their custom cards. They already knew the question, which was: Can I ask you a silly question? Twilight's read: "What's the number for 911?" and Dash's read..... Twilight gasped as she read it and Rainbow Dash took out a ring. "Will you marry me?" it read. Twilight quickly nodded and kissed Rainbow Dash. Her horn lit up as they looked up and saw a piece of holly. "Oh! Wrong one!" > SweetieDash > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweetie Belle was short. Sure, she was an adult, but still very short. She could pass herself for a teen if she tried. If you compared her to her special somepony, Rainbow Dash, you could tell that Rainbow Dash was bigger than her. Of course, everypony was bigger than her, so that wasn't really hard. Sweetie Belle was also going to spend time with Dash for Hearts and Hooves day that day, and Rainbow Dash was supposed to come anytime soon. She squealed when the doorbell rang as she sprinted down the stairs. She opened them to Dash, with a small pack on her back. Sweetie Bell ignored that and kissed her on the cheek. "Hey Rainbow!" she giggled as she set her pack down. "Come upstairs; I have a movie we can watch!" "Hold on, Sweetie Cheeks," she teased, following the unicorn. As she approach her bedroom, her head hit the top of the doorframe. She then ducked her head. "Lucky," Sweetie Belle said. "I never tall enough to hit my head on the doorframe." "You shouldn't envy me for that," Dash laughed. They sat down and started to watch the movie. It was a quiet afternoon as Sweetie snuggled close inside of Rainbow's wing. The soft pillows concealed Rainbow's thoughts and worry while she watched the black and white play on the screen. With Sweetie, everything felt different. Many ponies argued that the age difference was too large, but they didn't care. It was true love, and her best friends at least respected that. They had to; Sweetie was Rarity's sister after all. Sweetie Belle's friends also didn't care for her unique love, they were more proud than anything. Rainbow Dash remembered their first date. They were watching this exact movie on Sweetie's same bed, just they weren't as cuddled up as this time. She remembered the burnt popcorn that Sweetie Belle had tried to make, but Rainbow Dash still ate it. It wasn't the best taste in the world, but she has had worse. It wasn't even as bad as the grub they had at Wonderbolt's Academy, and that was bad. The popcorn tasted more like care and patience. It tasted like persistence and hard work. Most of all, it tasted like love. She blushed deeply at a silly thought of popcorn. Sweetie Belle herself was focused on the movie, taking in it's contents. It was a romantic comedy that Dash had actually agreed on watching. It was a simple love triangle story but with a few jokes here and there. The black and white calmed Sweetie's mind whenever she was stressed, for her career was making her frustrated. Ever since she earned her cutie mark, she worked hard to become noticed. Like her sister, she strived for excellence in what she enjoyed. Sadly, her cooking wasn't nearly as close as her special talent, or her sister for that matter. She managed to burn everything she cooked, except ramen of course. She even burnt her first meal with Dash. She remembered the pegasus eating the popcorn anyways as if it was no big deal, but Sweetie never believed her. That's why their next conversation surprised her. "Hey Sweetie." "What?" "I love you." "Well I love you more!" "Well, can you make me popcorn?" > Scootalight > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scootaloo had a plan. A plan to treat her marefriend on Hearts and Hooves Day. Her marefriend was the one and only Princess Twilight Sparkle, so she had high expectations to reach. She couldn't just buy her a dozen roses to keep her happy; she needed to do something big! Something bold, something respectable, and most importantly princess worthy. She didn't want to fail her and make her unhappy; that would just damper their relationship. She didn't want to do this to keep a good reputation, she just wanted to do this to show her marefriend love on this special day. She truly loved Twilight, so much as to ask her out even when she was a good six years younger than her. Their relationship was a bit rusty, but they pushed through until everything made sense. Besides, it didn't matter how old Scootaloo was! Twilight was an alicorn anyways, and she would stay young forever. Scootaloo drove her scooter into town to buy the first part of her plan: fireworks. She entered the outdoor activities store early in the morning, and the shopkeeper greeted her on the way in. She browsed for the fireworks she needed to make the plan work. There was an array of fireworks: smiley faces, animals, flags, symbols; there was all but the ones she needed. She turned to the shopkeeper. "Sorry, the hearts are all out for today," she apologized. "The store's only been open for thirty minutes!" Scootaloo muttered as she walked out. She knew that could have happen, so she had another plan which required something more rare: a large transaction of bits. She scootered her way to the bank as she thought about what Twilight would do with the bits. Probably subscribe to the newest book club, she guessed. As soon as she arrived to the bank, she saw a sign reading on the door: We are closed. Enjoy this special day! "UGH! I should've known this!" she exclaimed in anger. She furiously crossed out that plan and moved onto her next plan: booking tickets to the spa. The spa, of course, was on the other side of town, so she was there by lunchtime. She walked up to the front desk as Aloe looked up. "We are booked for the next month," she said sadly. "Sorry." Scootaloo didn't even react as she backtracked to her house, which was next to the bank, of course. Her wings were sore by the time she reached her door. She tugged on the handle until she realized: her key dropped at the spa. "Oh man," she growled. Twilight was reading, as she would any other day of the year. She didn't plan on doing anything for Scootaloo, as she insisted that she didn't want anything. Twilight was content with spending the day alone, not that she didn't like hanging out with Scootaloo, of course. She remembered back when she had her library. Scootaloo had only been a filly at that time. Twilight had never been attracted to her until a couple years ago when she realized she needed her. She giggled and blushed deeply as she plunged back into her book. It consisted of the history of love and how it came to be, respectively for the holiday. It was her tenth reread, but she was always interested by the backstory. It was already lunch and she had five more love books to read. When ponies would usually groan, Twilight hoofbumped the air. "Yay! I'm ahead of schedule!" she said. Scootaloo walked about the streets of ponyville. It was almost time for dinner and she still couldn't fulfill any of her plans. There was always some reason for it not to happen, and it frustrated her. She trotted by a flower stand until she was stopped. "Want to buy a dozen roses? One bit!" "Why not!" she groaned. Twilight closed her last book when she heard a knock at the door. "That's weird; I wasn't expecting any visitors. Maybe it's Scootaloo!" Said pony was at the door with a dozen roses. "Hey, Twilight. I had bigger plans that this but this was all I could-" Twilight kissed her mid sentence. "It's just what I wanted." > Appledash > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Applejack and Rainbow Dash were both ambitious. They were also both lovers, with each other. Yet, they both had work that day and couldn't see each other until five that night. c'mon guys you know by now that every chapter takes place on Hearts and Hooves day. Since their days were boring, let's skip to five o'clock. Applejack heard a knock on her door. "Hey, Dash," she said, kissing her forehead. Applejack was quite taller than Dash. "Hey Jack," she responded, embracing the kiss. She trotted inside to the Apple's living room and sat down on the couch. "Any plans tonight?" "I just got Super Pony Brawl Four, so we can play that," Aj said. Rainbow nodded quickly as the game was set up. They entered the loading screen and picked their characters. Rainbow Dash picked Daring Do while Applejack picked a Chimera. They brawled for quite awhile. Every so often the Chimera would squash the tinier pony, but then Daring Do would reply with a kick up the chest. They played to the point until midnight. They then stop to grab a meal and sat down at the table. It was Friday, so they could stay up a late as they wanted to. They chatted for a while while consuming their apples (go figure). "I know this is kinda sappy, but I love you," AJ said softly. "Why would that be sappy? I love you too!" Rainbow Dash responded. "Actually, I have something to show you." "Me too!" Aj said. They both quietly slid boxes onto the table. They opened the opposite ones for each one concealing a engagement ring. They looked up at each other, back at the rings, and back up. They were the same rings. The two ponies burst into uncontrollable laughter. Rainbow Dash had to grasped her side she was laughing so hard. They moved to the couch, still laughing, until they finally settled down. "Ok, I think I'm ok now," Rainbow gasped shakily. Aj sighed out loudly from their laughing, her shaking too. "So I take that answer as a no?" she asked. The two laughed again for ten minutes. In that ten minutes, they both fell asleep. Rainbow Dash dreamed of their wedding. It had striking accents to it's original whiteness, and showed a wide display of both of the pony's interests. The CMC were the flower fillies, wearing warm hues on their dresses. The wonderbolts lined up on Rainbow Dash's side, with Pinkie Pie as her best mare. Applejack's side had her direct family with some cousins in between. Little Strongheart was AJ's best.... buffalo? Twilight was there as the priest, saying the traditional wedding words. Fluttershy and Rarity were bridesmaids and Spike was the ring bearer. The rings themselves were a beautiful shade of gold with each other's names imbedded into them in silver. Rarity designed everything for the wedding, of course, with a little of Pinkie's house for that flash of coolness. Rainbow smiled at the thought of her and AJ getting married, and she knew it was the right choice. She loved this mare so much she would die for her. Applejack dreamed of the honeymoon. The two traveled to Las Pegasus for a night of relaxation and partying. Their hotel room would be gorgeous, with a giant prince sized bed with soft, squishy pillows. The bathroom would have a walk in shower with a bathtub besides it. There would be a flatscreen T.V. lining in front of the bed with Ponyflix, of course. They would swim in the pool at the hotel and steal all of the bacon from the all you can eat buffet. They would enter the lottery to win free real estate and win it. They would live a happy life together. Everything would be perfect with her. Applejack blushed and then realized that both she and Rainbow Dash were awake. They both sat up on the couch to find it was stained with drool. They both chuckled and talked together. "So, I guessed we're engaged now," Dash said. "Probably," she paused. "What are we gonna tell the other girls?" "What, that we both proposed to each other with the same rings and at the same time and now we're engaged?" "Oh, that wasn't as hard as I thought."
