	There was a loud boom as lighting shot the ground under Rainbow Dash's home. It was the middle of the night as Riak stood up and shook of the dirt and snow that had gotten on him from his landing back in Equestria.
"Ah. Home sweet home." Riak said. Looking up he saw Rainbow Dash's home floating above him. "Kinda wish I was still half centaur half Pegasus." Another Crack of lighting and the magical world of Equestria had restored him to his original form when he was last here. Riak smiled. "It's been a couple of months but lets see if I can still work these things."
Riak started to flap his long Dark brown wings and flew up into the air to Rainbow Dash's home. Landing on her cloud-like home Riak trotted up to Dash's door and knocked on it. "Yo! R.D.? Open up girl. I hath returned!" Riak smiled as he heard Rainbow Dash's feet on the cloud. She opened the door and then looked at Riak. She was still in her human form. So that answered one of Riak's questions about whether or not Twi had gotten Dash her pony form back.
Riak smiled. "How's it hangin' R.D.?"Her eyes welled up with tears and she smiled an rushed toward Riak and hugged him tightly. "I thought I was never going to see you again."
Riak smiled at her. "Well I guess you thought wrong then huh love?" Riak smiled and leaned down to kiss Dash. "I have come back to you for Christmas."
Rainbow Dash smiled pulling away from his face. "Come inside. I have a surprise for you Ri."
Riak smiled. "A surprise from you is always good." Riak followed Rainbow Dash inside. The walked through the house and Riak remembered all the good times they had here. When Riak had left here nine months ago she was pregnant with his baby. He didn't want to leave but he had to tie up some loose ends in his world.
"Here we are." Rainbow Dash had stopped at a door in her hallway. He didn't remember this part of her house.
"Is my surprise in there?" Riak asked. Dash nodded and Riak opened the door to find a room filled with baby toys and a rather large baby crib. Riak's heart sank to the pit of his stomach. Slowly he waled toward the baby crib and found a little centaur sleeping in it. It was a girl. Riak was speechless.
"Her name is Jane. And she is our baby. She's been changing back and forth from human to centaur for a while now. She's still learning how to walk. But now that you are here I'm sure she'll figure it out." A bright flash of lighting followed by the booming sound of rumbling thunder caught the attention of the two parents.
"That's odd." Riak said flatly. "I thought I shut down my teleporter."
"Should we go check it out?" dash asked?
"You stay here with the baby. I'll be back." Dash nodded. 
Quietly exiting the baby's room Riak made his way to the front door.
As he reached the front door Riak could hear voiced on the other side. Grabbing a gun that was sitting on a desk beside the door, Riak slowly opened the front door. Smiling as he saw that it was only Twilight and Spike.
Twilight was the first of the two whom had noticed that the door had been opened. "Hey Da-" Twilight stopped as she realized who it was. "Ri?"
Riak stepped out from behind the door and grabbed Twilight in a bear hug. "It has been far to long B.W." That was Riak's nickname for Twilight. It stood for Bookworm. 
"What are you doing back? It only took you nine months to make a portal back here? That means..."
Riak smiled. "Ah so you finally admit it. I'm smarter than you." Spike chuckled.
Riak looked down at Spike and picked him up and hugged him. "Ah. I missed you little man." Spike wrapped his clawed arms around Riak's neck.
"It has been too long. I've read the comics you wrote for me like ten times already. Did you work on your drawing while you were away?"
Riak chuckled. "Had no time little bro. Wanted to get back here as soon as I left. So I settled my affairs on earth and then started on the portal to get back here to you guys."
Twilight was about to pose a question but Riak was already starting to answer it. "As to my form. I have no clue. I was going to ask Twi if she could cast that spell again to see if I could go back to my human form. I'd like to be the same species as R.D."
Twilight smiled her grin that she adopted a couple of months after Riak started asking for her to do spells for him. "On one condition. You have to stop calling me Bookworm. Even calling me B.W. has to stop."
"Deal." Riak said. "But. I get to call you Bookworm one more time and you don't get to know when I'm going to call you that."
"Done." Twilight said, holding out her left hoof. Riak shook her hoof and let Twilight and Spike in. 
"So what was that loud bang earlier?" Riak asked Twi."
"Oh that was just us teleporting up here." Spike said as they were walking down the hallway to Jane's room. Riak put a finger to his lips. to make a shushing signal as they had reached Jane's room. Riak opened the door just in time to see Rainbow Dash pull the trigger to one of the guns he had left her. Quickly ducking the bullet flew over his head and the baby started to cry.
"Damn it Dash!" Riak yelled at her. "I didn't leave those guns here for you to shoot at me when I got back." Riak walked toward her and took the gun from her and set it on the floor and picked up the baby gently.
Rainbow Dash started to cry, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I didn't know it was you. I'm sorry."
Riak sighed and kneeled beside Rainbow Dash and leaned against her. "I know you didn't know love. I shouldn't have yelled at you. I'm sorry."
Rainbow Dash quickly wrapped her arms around Riak and cried harder. There was another boom and a crack of lighting shot through the house and hit Riak and Jane. There was no pain when the lightning struck them. Jane started to giggle and laugh as they both changed into humans.
Rainbow Dash was till hugging him and crying. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Twilight and Spike's mouths hung open. 
Riak looked at Twilight. "Looks like the deals of Bookworm." Riak's smile faded as he realized that Dash was still crying on him. Carefully he set Jane down on the floor and hugged Rainbow Dash tightly. "It's okay. I know you didn't mean anything by it. You were just trying to protect Jane." Rainbow Dash looked at him. "Besides. Look at us now. We're human. We can be a family together.
