Courier 6, or Edward, had just left the NCR after aiding them to defend the Hoover Dam from Caesar's Legion, then a portal opened and sucked him in into the world of Equestria, where he meets new friends, go on new adventures, and more.
Just after the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam, Edward, or known as Courier 6, left the NCR, the BOS, the Boomers, and others to have their celebration of their victory, until a unknown portal caught him by surprise and gotten sucked in. Landing in Equestria, Edward turned into a pony and was lost and lonely until he meets 6 small, colorful ponies who he became friends with. He then starts to defends Equestria when Canterlot was being invaded by Changlings. He then finds his purpose to stay in his new home, but will he ever return to the Mojave Wasteland to see his old friends? Until the answer is revealed, he stays to defend the innocent and the weak against any and all evil that threatening them. He learned that no matter how far you go, and no matter if the land is peaceful, chaos always follows because WAR, WAR NEVER CHANGES.

Hoover Dam, few miles from Boulder City, NV
after the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam in NCR's victory
Hours has passed since the battle at Hoover Dam had ended. The NCR, both the Infantry and Rangers, celebrated their great victory with their new found allies. The BOS (aka the Brotherhood of Steel), the Stripe (including Yes Man who replaced Mr. House), the Boomers, and others made their agreement with the New California Republic and aided each other from there on. Edward, or known as Courier 6, didn't stay for long when the battle was over, for he still have many more travels of the rest of the Wasteland. Edward was wearing a Desert Ranger armor with a Desert Ranger helmet with a description that says, 'FORGIVE ME MAMA.' He found the set in a cave while he aided the Burned Man and the others in the Zion Canyon. He also wields a special .357 Magnum Revolver nicknamed 'Lucky', a Anti-Material Rifle, a combat knife, a special Battle Rifle known as 'The Machine', a 9mm pistol that used to belong to Benny called 'Maria', a .45 submachine gun, and a .45 pistol nicknamed 'Light Shining in Darkness'. He walked after a few miles with his friends, Boone and ED-E, until they've reached the cross roads to the NCR Mojave Outpost, Primm and Goodsprings, and Nipton.
Edward turned toward his friends and said, "Well, I guess this is it guys. This might be the last time we will ever see each other." Edward took his helmet off to see his friends without it on. His appearance was pale skin, green eyes, auburn hair that is comb-over, and no beard, surprisingly. He then smiled towards them as if it is alright, but sorrow filled his heart. He knows he will miss their company, but he will grow out of it.
"Yeah, I guess it is it. Huh, you know, I never thought that I would ever be this sort of journey took me when I decided to come along with you just to end up having what we just been through, ant to say that I'm glad I did. All I have to say is that it was a pleasure being by your side till the end, Edward." Boone replied. He wore a NCR Infantry uniform with a red beret and Ariel Sunglasses, wielding a sniper rifle and a combat knife.
<Sad beeping>
Edward looked towards ED-E and reassure him. "Don't worry, ED-E, we might meet each other again." He turns to face both of them and continued. "All of us will meet each other again, but until then, goodbye."
"Goodbye, make sure you don't get yourself killed out there, Ed." Boone said as he went back towards Nipton and return back to his home in Novac.
<Beeping>
ED-E tried to say goodbye but said instead with beeps, but Edward knew he said goodbye.
"Goodbye ED-E, I promise we will meet each other again, and make sure you don't become something raiders use as target practice, okay?" Edward replied.
<Agreeing beeping>
Edward smiled and said, "Okay, good. now get back to Primm or, if you want, Goodsprings, if you want." He put on his helmet as he watched ED-E floated away towards the route towards Primm.
Edward walked around the intersection because of the fallen bridge and headed towards the gas station for the night. He stayed outside as he watch the sunset and watched the stars afterwards. He turned on his radio on his Pipboy and relaxed as he listens to his favorite tune before heading inside to rest.
It was early in the morning that the sun has not yet rised from the horizon. Edward got up and pack everything up and headed out. He beginning having flashbacks from his memories while in the Capital Wasteland, before and after he left Vault 101. He thought of his father and the way he always looked up to, even now. He also remembers his old friends like Fawkes, Dogmeat, and the others, including his best friend Amata. He always have good memories with her and stayed a friend after all they been through when she was in the Vault, while he roamed the Wasteland in searched for his father. Truths were learned, as well as lies while his days there. He battle against Talon Mercs, Super Mutants, Raiders, hostile robots, the wildlife, even against the Enclave, and won each and every one of them.
He sighed and continued his travel towards the ruins of the City of Angels. An hour passed by without him being attacked by anyone or anything. He thought, 'Strange, usually by now, there would been someone or something trying to kill me as always, and always happens every few minutes or so. I don't like this. I must keep goi....'.
His mind was interrupted when a portal suddenly opened which made Edward jumped. He pulled out 'Lucky' and aimed it towards the portal, prepared for anything to jump out to kill him, but lowered his gun when nothing came out. 'What the Hell, where in God's name did this come from?' He slowly stepped towards the portal very cautiously, with his hand on his weapon. After the 7th step, he then felt that the portal was sucking him in and reacted, but was too late. Edward was sucked in before he know it.
Ponyville, Equestria 11:34 P.M.
Twilight's Library
Twilight was studying the stars for future navigational purposes. Spike was asleep in his bed when Twilight noticed a bright light in the Everfree Forest. Twilight mumbled, "Whoa, what was that light? What could it be?"
She turned and ran towards Spike and shook him to wake saying, "Spike! Spike, wake up!"
"Uuugh, what is the big deal Twilight? Why did you wake me up at this time, and I was having such a good dream too." Spike ask as he rubbed his eyes.
"Hurry Spike. Look at that bright light over there." Twilight said, and Spike walked up and looked out the window. His eyes widened when he saw the bright light in the Everfree.
Spike ask, "What do you think it could be?"
"I don't know Spike, but whatever it is, we need to tell the others about...." Twilight was interrupted by a series of knockings.
"I'll get it!" Spike said as he ran towards the door while Twilight followed behind. He opened the door to be greeted by Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Applejack.
"HI SPIKE! HI TWILIGHT! I gotten the others and came here to tell you that my 'Pinkie Sense' tells me there will be somepony new!" Pinkie Pie rambled as she bounce into Twilight's home.
Rainbow Dash yawned and said, "Yeah, that is great and all, but why did you bring us to Twilight's home, Pinkie?"
Twilight smiled and said, "Hi girls! We were going to get you but thanks to Pinkie, we can get started."
"You see, I was star gazing and taking notes until I notice a bright light from the Everfree not too long ago." Twilight explained as her friends listened when she finished.
Applejack ask, "Let me guess, we're goin' intu the Everfree tomorrow mornin' to investigate, right?"
"You are completely right, AJ. We will all meet at Fluttershy's cottage and head out afterwards, until then, see you girls in the morning." Twilight said and one by one all of Twilight's friends left to rest up for tomorrow. Twilight walked upstairs and saw that Spike was already asleep. She smiled and covered him with his blanket and went to bed, not knowing that by tomorrow morning, she and her friends' lives are going to changed.
Everfree Forest, near Ponyville, Equestria
8:00 A.M. on a Wednesday
Edward groaned as he slowly gain consciousness after hours when he gotten sucked in through the strange portal. He rubbed his head and noticed something is different, besides the trees. He looked at what used to be his hands which are replaced with hooves instead. Edward freaked out and ran towards a large pond. What he saw from the reflection shocked him. He was turned into some sort of creature he learned from one of the Old World books. He was now something called a 'horse' or 'pony.' He sighed and mumbled, "Great, just great. First I was sucked in by a fucking hell portal, and now I been changed into a fucking horse, no, correction, a unicorn." He sighed again and mumbled, "Well, at least I'm not dead, that's for sure."
He walked away from the pond a few feet and stopped. He looked around the area and after he finished, he thought, 'Well, one thing for sure, I am not in the Mojave Wasteland anymore, or for that matter, the entire Wasteland. So the question is, where am I?'
Edward looked at his surroundings and felt a unfamiliar feeling in the air. There were no Radroaches, no Deathclaws, nothing, just a lot of pure, organic trees and grass, even the sky is pure blue. Is this what peace feels like? Edward checked his Pipboy to check his worldmap and all it reads is 'ERROR:UNKNOWN LOCATION'. He sighed, 'Well...this is just great, my Pipboy isn't working at all now....well...only the GPS system, but for unknown reason, I still have a signal to my favorite station, GNR.' He pondered for a moment and thought, 'Maybe it's the satellite dish I installed a while back for ol' 3Dogg, it is from a spaceship..shuttle..thing, what's it called again? Oh well, it doesn't matter, as long as I have some music, I shouldn't get too bored.'
Edward mumured, "Okay, which way is North?" He stopped to feel where the wind is coming from and after he confirmed it, he went to the general direction, hoping to find a settlement, not knowing what dangers lay ahead, if he actually cared, that is.
The Mane 6 walked through the forest towards where Twilight seen the light at. They reached the area and found nothing there. Twilight sighed, "This is strange, what could have made that light last night?"
Twilight pondered until Fluttershy broke the silence and asked, "Uhm, g-girls, am I hearing music or is it just me?"
All 6 ponies listened and heard music and very faded as if it was nearby. Rainbow Dash said, "Yeah, I do hear music, and it sounds like the peaceful country stuff that Applejack sometimes play with her guitar."
Applejack turned towards Dash's direction, nodded, and said, "That ain' country',RD, that there is the Blues but I have t' say, it has a very good rhythm to it."
"I think I hear singing too, and it sounds so beautiful and so sweet." Fluttershy commented.
They again listened carefully while heading towards the music and heard whoever singed out, I've lost all ambition for wordly acclaim I just want to be the one you'd love, And with your admission that you'd feel the same I'll have reach the goal I'm dreaming of believe me, I don't want to set the world on fire, I just want to start a flame in your heart.... '
Applejack added, "If I don' know wha' a love song is, then I'don't know what is."
Fluttershy said, "Like I said, it sounds so beautiful and so sweet."
The Mane 6 came closer and closer and the music gets louder and louder. What they found was a stallion in a trench coat of some kind and a weird-looking hat of some sort. Twilight noticed that Rarity had an expression of shock.
"How can somepony wear something so...hideous... like that, it's so...so..horri...." Rarity said as she fainted. The mysterious figure, who heard Rarity, turned to face who said that. The Mane 6, except Rarity for she had fainted, looked at the stallion with awe and fear mixed together as they gaze upon his appearance. He wore a strange helmet with green eyes and a hard helmet with a carved description which reads 'FORGIVE ME MAMA'. They noticed that he wore some sort of a metal chest plate with painted brown and tan camouflage. The stallion stood there, looking at them in silence until Twilight stepped forward.
"H-hello? A-are you lost, s-sir?" Twilight ask the mysterious stallion.
Edward was walking through the forest, listening to his favorite tune on his Pipboy. 'I'm very fortunate that 3-Dogg was able to put on my favorite tune, now I just need to focus on where would a settlement be at.' He continued walking slowly through the bushes and came to an opening. He stopped in the middle and looked around. After a few moments, he heard someone behind him, and heard a female voice that talked about his outfit. He turned around to see who spoke only to be greeted by 6 female ponies. He noticed one of them was unconscious on the ground and figured that she was the one that spoke. For a few moments, he stared at them, uneasily, until a lavender-colored pony with a horn steps up and asks, "H-hello? A-are you lost, s-sir?"
He stood there for a second and finally replied, "I...guess you could say that. I was wondering whe...." He was interupted by the voice of 3-Dogg giving the news for the day. The 5 ponies stood there looking around as if they were looking for someone.
"Hey hey, this is 3-Dogg, bow wow, and our listening to GNR, Galaxy News Radio....."
The lavender pony asks, "W-who is talking? Is somepony out there?"
Edward answered, "Sorry, it's coming from my Pipboy here." as he turned it off.
The ponies looked at his Pipboy in awe, except the yellow pony with pink mane and tail, who instead looked at it with a curious expression. The lavender pony said, "Wow...I've never seen that before. Did you invented this 'Pipboy'?"
Edward answerd, "No, I didn't. A company by the name of 'Vault Tech' were the ones who invented this."
"The what tech?" Asked a cyan-colored pony with rainbow-colored mane and tail.
He sighed and said, "Vault Tech, they are a company who invents and build things such as the bunkers known as 'Vaults', bobble heads, and other sorts of stuff. They mostly build things that would save people from a Nuclear Armageddon, which apparently happened 200 years ago."
The ponies' jaws dropped when they heard the Nuclear Armageddon, except the fainted pony and the pink pony. The lavender asked, "Uhh...a Nuclear Armageddon, what's that?"
Shocked to hear that kind of question, but remembered that he isn't in the Wasteland anymore and sighed. "Well....lets just say...its was...uh..war...by using weapons of....mass...destruction." He said as he he rubbed his hoof on the back of his head, not too happy about telling them.
Their faces had the expression of horror and sorrow. The orange pony with a cowboy hat asks, 'Why n' Celestia's name woul' your people do that, an'why haven' we heard abou' this event?"
Edward knew that they wouldn't believe him, but it wouldn't hurt to try. He answered, "Well...uhm...you see...I'm not from.....your dimension or world. I'm from somewhere where a race known as 'humans', which I am er was, who survived this event while taking shelter in the 'Vaults' and is known as 'The Wasteland'."
Edward sighed but noticed they believed him. The pink pony bounced over, "OHMYGOSH, THIS IS SO GREAT!!! I'M GOING TO THROW YOU A 'WELCOME TO PONYVILLE PORTAL TRAVELLER' EVER!!!!"
Edward, not expecting the sudden burst of the pink pony, fell onto his rear and gave a surprised expression on his face, though his face was still hidden from them.
"That was unexpected, ouch." he said as he got up.
The lavender pony said, "Sorry about Pinkie, she can be a little crazy. My name is Twilight Sparkle."
The cyan pony said, "My name is Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer of all of Equestria."
The pink pony said, "Hi, I'm Pinkie Pie, and your my new friend!"
Edward thought, 'Oh great, I'm making new friends. Wonderful.'
The orange pony with the hat said, "Howdy, names Applejack, its'a pleasure ta meet ya."
Twilight said, "Oh, that there is Fluttershy and that there unconscious on the ground, is Rarity." She stopped to point at the two ponies behind her and continued, "So...what's your name?"
He answered, "My name is Edward, and I am a Desert Ranger, at your service."

Town tour and meeting with Royalty...wait, what? (Part 1)
The 5 ponies were a little surprise when they heard that Edward was a Desert Ranger and Rarity finally came to it from her 'dramatic faint' and the six offered Edward a tour in Ponyville. Edward decided that while he is here, he could get some R&R for a while and at the same time get to meet new peo ...er...ponies of the world he is at currently.
Edward and the Mane 6 finally reached to the edge of the forest and Edward was greeted by a beautiful view of the town. Twilight said after a moment of silence, "Welcome to Ponyville, Mr. Edward."
"Please, call me Edward instead, or just Edd, for short." Edward replied.
"Oh...uh...ok, sure." Twilight said, though she wasn't used to such strange names.
Rarity asks, "My apologies, but this...outfit...of yours is really bugging me."
"How so?" Edward asks.
"Well, your attire is hideous, no offence of course." Rarity said.
"None taken, besides, when your living in a living hellhole with everything and everyone wanting to kill you, well, let's just say that there are more important things than worrying about fashion, oh and excuse my language, I've happen to be a decendent to a certain type of people who are known to cuss a lot as well as drinking a lot and are known as the Irish." Edward replied. He then added, "Well I, myself, don't drink hardly because...well...let's just say that I didn't want to be killed by Raiders or something while being drunk off my ass."
The 6 was confused by his statement but they continued on towards Ponyville.
Edward talked to Applejack and said, "Hey, uh, Miss Applejack, Your accent kinda reminds me of a Southern accent back at the Mojave Wasteland where I came from."
"Really now, that is very interestin' and I've been wonderin', how did ya know Equish?" Applejack asked.
"Well, where I'm from, we call it English, so maybe our worlds have things in common." Answered Edward.
They arrived at Ponyville and went around town, meeting new ponies, and Edward caught site of a large tree that is made into a shelter of sorts. "What is that, there?"
"Oh, that there is my home, the Golden Oaks Library." Twilight answered.
Edward said, "Wait, you live in a library?"
Twilight answered, "Well yeah, you should of known that I am the one with the brains out of all my friends."
"Oh, right, forgotten about that." Edward said as he did a facehoof.
They continued on and went to an apple farm, which Edward figured to belong to Applejack, then to Rarity's boutique and Pinkie's bakery. They went to a cottage that Fluttershy lives at and what Edward saw shocked him. Her house was full of animals which he never expected to see at all but also gave him a more of a connection towards Fluttershy because he, admittedly, hates killing animals, mutated or not, and when he gotten an Animal Friend Perk, he was a little more happy to kill less animals as possible.
The tour came to an end and was getting late. Twilight offered Edward to stay at the guest room in her home. Edward willingly accepted it and continued on. Twilight asks, "If you don't mind me asking, why was your world at war? What was it about? What was the purpose of it? And against who?"
"Well, to answer your first question, it is in human nature to have wars because, well, we're not exactly perfect, to answer your second question, mostly, for the United States, is about Freedom, retaliation, to protect the innocent that is part of the U.S. or not, and to destroy the corruption of men. For your third, I don't really know, 'cause it has been over 200 years ago, in-fact, nobody knows actually. For your final question, we were against Chinese Communists." Edward answered.
Twilight was shocked for a few seconds but pondered on his second answer. 'Interesting, a country who fight wars to bring freedom, to retaliate, even to protect innocent people that they don't even know or even part of their kingdom, and against all evil people. Hm, maybe he may be willing to help us if we are in dire need if ask upon or even him offering his help toward us, just because his personality is very....compassionate...and dedicated.'
Twilight thought for a few moments and stopped when they reached the library. Edward and Twilight walked into the library and she quoted, "Well, home sweet home!"
Edward was speechless for a few moments and finally said, "That is a lot of books."
Twilight giggled at his quote and saw Spike coming down the steps.
"Hey, Twilight, how it goin-" Spike stopped at mid-sentence when he saw Edward while he wore his apparel and weapons.
Spike Ask Twilight, "Uhh, who is this guy?"
"Oh, don't worry, Spike, this here is Edward and he said he is a Desert Ranger. Me and the girls found him in the Everfree." Twilight said.
"Oh, in that case..." Spike said as he turned towards Edward and continued, "Hi, my name is Spike, Twilight's number one assistant. It's nice to meet you Edward."
Edward replied, "Hey, Spike, it's nice to meet you too. You know, you kind of remind me of one of those Deathclaws That I had to fight against, as well as one of those Fire Geckos."
Twilight and Spike looked at Edward with confusion and nervousness and Twilight asks, "A Deathwhat?"
Edward sighed and said, "A Deathclaw, one of the most dangerous and the most terrifying creatures of the entire wasteland. They were bio-engineered by our government to be used as weapons but they were set free when the bombs drop. They use their very large and razor sharp claws as weapons which could instantly decapitate you, thus the name. " Edward let out a sigh and simply said one word, "Idiots."
Twilight and Spike knew what he meant because they thought it was a stupid thing to do.
"And what is this 'Fire Gecko'?" Spike asks.
Edward replied, "Well you guys know about geckos right?" Twilight and Spike nodded. Edward continued, "Well after the bombs fell, the radiation from the bombs, which is very hazardous to almost all living things, mutated a lot of the wildlife including geckos. There are multiple types of those mutated Geckos like the regular types, golden, green, and those purple ones that are able to breathe out fire, thus the name. Also the mutations increases their size which is not a good thing."
Twilight and Spike look at each other and both thought that he might as well be very lucky that he was teleported to Equestria and away the dangers of his homeworld.

Town tour and meeting with Royalty...wait, what? (Part 2) Edited
Minutes later when Edward told Twilight about his entire past in both the Capital and the Mojave as well as some actual history about the nation that was known as "The United States of America" and how it was made.....
"So let me get this straight, this 'nation' was born after a war against a kingdom you and your people tried to escape from?" Twilight asked.
Edward responded, "Well... yeah if you put it that way, but the reason why is that the king who was ruling at the time was a tyrant. He raised up taxes that made a lot of people poor, forbid any exercise of any religion, including Christianity, since Christianity is a major religion like the others, and killing unarmed people who are just minding their own business. Later on, a rebellion known as the Continental Army, or shortly known as the 'Patriots', rose up and retaliated against the British army, even when the Patriots were under-trained, out-gunned, out-matched, and out-numbered."
Twilight listened with interested look on her face as Edward continued.
"But after those 19 or so years, the Patriots have defeated the British and won their independence by right, and that gave birth to our country, the United States of America, the land of the free, and home of the brave. Where Everyone has equal rights, as in everyone is no better than the other and it doesn't affect your race or gender, except that was later on, And having freedom to practice any religion, except that is mostly involve terrorism, partially. As well as the freedom of speech. And when France, America's sister country, helped us out with the War against the British, they later on gave us a large, metal statue known as the Statue of Liberty, or Lady Liberty, for short. And when immigrants arrive at New York City, they would have been greeted by Lady Liberty herself, holding up that torched to guide them to safety, and holding a text of sorts, but anyways, the thing is that we made a nation that does not discriminate, overly taxed, and everything else. We also separate power to a lot people known as the Congress. In-fact, I've been inside a place known as the Capital Building, where the Congressmen goes to discuss politics and the sort. But the one who supposedly holds the most power is the President, the leader of the nation. I can't go into details about it because, well, it's very complicated, but all I can say, is that the Congress put limits on giving power to an elected leader. We do that because , well, here's the thing, if you gave anyone, power, they would eventually misuse it, and that's how tyrants are made, and it wouldn't make sense if we tried to escape a tyrant just to become one ourselves. So basically, America was dedicated to protect the innocent, to stop corruption, and the sort." Edward concluded.
Twilight was silent in surprise for a few moments until she asked, "Who was your first leader of your nation after the war?"
"A man named George Washington and before you ask 'why him' or 'what evidence that made him the perfect leader', he was our main general during the war against the British."
"Why a veteran general to lead a newborn nation?" Twilight ask.
"Well he isn't your ordinary general, he was selfless and dedicated enough that he didn't just order his men to...say...dig a trench, he, literally, takes of his jacket and hat, even during the bitterest winters in history, grabs a shovel and pickax, jumps into the trench, and digs with his men, for that is what a nation needs, a leader who would bonds with his men and get his hands dirty to get the job done, no matter what it is." Edward answered.
Twilight's face was an expression of surprise when Edward answered that. 'I guess not all humans are selfish, barbaric beings, for a general to that action, this may prove that humans had evolve more honorable than any pony knows about.'
Twilight asks, "Okay, then how many countries were there in your entire world?"
Edward sat there silently, then finally answered, "Uh, 196 in total."
Twilight's eyes widened when she heard his answer. '196 countries!? how big is his world?!'
She then regain herself and asked, "So what is America's national flag then?"
"Well, the flag had changed a lot over the years, but the two I remembered before was the it had a blue square on the top left corner, and within it are 50 white stars, before it change to 13 stars right before the bombs, and is considered symbolizing that America has 50 states. Outside the blue square are these red and white stripes going side to side, horizantally, and there are 13 in total, which represent the original 13 colonies before America was born. We gave it nicknames like 'The Star Spangled Banner', 'Stars and Stripes', 'Old Glory', which is my favorite, and the 'Red, White, and Blue.' But mostly known as the American Flag." Edward answered.
"Wow, so who made it, and when?" Twilight asks.
"A woman named Betsy Ross and it was made in the spring of 1776. But that's uncertain, 'cause there was no recorded document about it, even way before the bombs of 2077." Edward responded.
Spike then ran into the room where Twilight and Edward were at, exhausted, saying "Twilight, Princess Celestia heard about what happen in the Everfree and are heading here!"
Twilight yelled, "WHAT!?"
Edward asked, "Princess?"
Twilight panicked as she and Spike clean up the mess in the library when Edward asked, "What do you mean 'Princess' are coming here?"
Twilight answered frantically, " I'm Celestia's number one star pupil and she gets worried sometimes when things like recent events occur."
Edward thought, 'Number one star pupil?'
A voice out of the chaotic event spoke "Is everthing alright, Twilight?"
Twilight, Spike, and Edward spun around just to see Princess Celestia standing there, concerned.
Twilight gave a joyous cheer, " Princess Celestia!"
Edward whispered a single word, "Wow."
Princess Celestia turned toward Edward with a raised eyebrow "And who are you?"
'Shit.'

That was all Edward thought, worried that Equestria's co-rulers might mistaken him as a threat until Twilight spoke, "Don't worry Princess, he's a friend who came from another dimension on accident."
"Is that so." Celestia said and turned toward Edward asking, "What is your name?"
Edward replied without hesitation, "The name's Edward, ma'am. I am a Desert Ranger from the Mojave Wasteland."
"A desert ranger, you say?"
"Yes ma'am, though I am also a courier for the Mojave Express, but that kinda ended after a guy with a checkered coat and some hired guys known as the 'Great Khans' knocked me out and brought me outside of a town of Goodsprings. There, I woke up to see them digging a grave the checkered coat guy, who I found out is named Benny, shot me in the head and buried me. Lucky for me, that didn't kill me and a Securetron, a robot, that refers to as 'Victor' was nearby and dug me up and brought to the towns doctor." Edward explained.
Celestia was shocked by his experiences throughout his life, but was confused on the word 'shot' and ask, "What do you mean 'shot'?"
Edward explained, "Well you guys have..like...crossbows or bow 'n' arrows, right? Maybe a cannon?"
They nodded yes and Edward continued, "Well we have an advance version of a cannon that is smaller and easy to carry around like this pistol..." he pulled out his .45 auto pistol and show and continued, "This here is a .45 auto pistol, but actually named the 1911 Colt, compact version and was a standard sidearm for the U.S. military around the 1940's, which is World War 2 era and each clip holds at least 7 to 8 rounds per clip." Edward puts away his pistol and brings out 'The Machine', "And this here is a battle rifle, or in the history books, the M1 Garand. Also World War 2 era, 8 rounds per clip, multiple attachments, and excrete." He puts away his rifle and notices the fear in their eyes and he said, "Don't worry, I won't use them unless I have to, such self defense or freeing an enslave person, that sort of thing."
The princess and Twilight eased up after he sayed that sentence and continued, "Anways, these weapons shoots out multiple metal projectiles called 'bullets' and this is the exact gun Benny used on me." as he pulled out 'Maria'.
Celestia, Twilight and Spike were awed by the engraved gun and the picture of the woman on the handle of the weapon until Twilight asked, "Wait, how did you get this from this 'Benny' guy?"
"Well let's just say he gotten what was coming to him."
"And what was that engraving on that first weapon you showed us?" Twilight asks.
"Well it is in a different language which is one of the oldest, aside from Latin, known as Hebrew." Edward replied.
Celestia asks, "Really, and what does it translates to ?"
Edward responded, "It means 'Light Shining in Darkness'."
Twilight, Celestia, and Spike were surprised by that answer for they were not expecting something so religious as that to be engraved on such a weapon.
Then an armored stallion ran through the front door, painting.
The 4 of them looked toward him when Princess Celestia asks, "Star Gazer, What seems to be the matter?"
The stallion said, "Canterlot is under attack by the Changlings, your highness."
Celestia, Twilight, and Spike was shocked when the stallion told them what was happening. Edward was a little surprise but thought, 'I've should have seen this coming, there is no way to escape the ravages of war.'
Celestia turned toward Edward and desperately asked, "Please Mr. Edward, would you help me and my kingdom from the Changling menace?"
Twilight and Spike both turned towards Edward to see what his answer would be. Edward replied, "You don't even have to ask and say no more, I will help you fight off these 'Changlings' for you after all the good hospitality you and everypony here gave me. After all, it's not like this is my first time aiding a nation for a good cause."
Celestia, Twilight, and Spike were happy that their new-found friend was willing to help. Edward then said, "But don't expect me to be completely merciful to these guys because this is the only way I know how to deal with threats like these 'Changlings' are, but I'll do my best to try though."
Celestia nodded at him with understanding and then turned towards Twilight and Spike and said, "Twilight, gather your friends and we'll meet up at the palace."
Twilight nodded and turned to Spike and said, "Spike, you get Rarity and Pinkie Pie while I'll get the others."
"I'm on it." Spike replied.
Celestia notified Edward that she is going to use a teleportation spell to quickly arrive at the palace and Edward nodded and said, "Let's do it." With that, the vanished and headed towards Canterlot.
Celestia and Edward arrived at the palace with both Cadence and Shining Armor awaits. Celestia and Edward walked up to them who were glad to see them
"Celestia, thank goodness your here." Cadence said.
Shining Armor turned towards Edward and asks Celestia, "And who is this?"
Celestia replied, "Do not worry Shining, this here is the visitor your little sister and her friends found in the Everfree."
"Oh, in that case whats your name?" Shining asks.
"The names Edward, Desert Ranger at the ready, sir." Edward said while saluting Shining.
"Desert Ranger, huh. As well as very respectable. Have you ever been in a battle?"
Edward replied, "More than to fill my life time, sir. I am from a world scorch by nuclear fire and radiation that was resulted by the ravages of war. A world known as the Wasteland. I've fought against many enemies like the Enclave, Talon mercs, Super Mutants, Raiders, Slavers, Caesar's Legion, and many other. I'm allied with the Brotherhood of Steel, the New California Republic, Reilly's Rangers and ecerta."
Shining and Cadence were shocked by his answer and Cadence ask him, "Is there any harmony in your world at all?"
Edward sighed and replied, "That is what I was doing in my life, trying to help the people, the survivors, in any way I can from aiding those in need, freeing the enslave people from the slavers and raiders, just giving as much hope to those in need as long as I am able to."
Cadence and Shining showed their sympathy to this one stallion when the Mane 6 arrived.
"We're here, what do we need to do?" Twilight asks.
Celestia said, " Take Edward with you as well as the Elements of Harmony with you. Edward will be aiding you and the Royal Guards to fight off against the Changlings."
Rainbow Dash asks, "But why do we have to take him with us?"
Shining answer before Celestia even said a word, "Because from what I understand, he has been through Tartarus and back multiple times throughout his own life, fighting the very evil of his own world and helping those in need, that's why, Rainbow Dash."
The 6 were kind of surprise of Shining's answer, but then remember where he came from for a few moments.
Edward broke the silence and said, "Uh, don't mean to interrupt, but should we be getting out there and deal with those Changlings who are, for all we know, moving in closer to this palace?"
Celestia then said, "I'm afraid he is right, there is no time to waste while they march in closer, go my little ponies, go and drive them back to their land."
"Right, let's go girls..and Edward." Twilight agreed.
The Mane 6 and Edward ran towards where the battle rages. Edward seen a lot of freaky and scary-ass creatures and mutants like Cazadors, Behemoths, Mirelurks and other things of sort, but these 'Changlings' have every single enemy he encountered beat. They were black colored with blue eyes, bug-like Equines. He even witness one of them shape shift into one off the Royal Guards and he thought, 'So that's why they're called 'Changlings', cause they can shape shift, so this is going to get annoying but thanks to my VATS system, this shouldn't be too hard.'
Edward activated his night vision and pulled out 'The Machine' and readied himself and said to the 6, "Alright, let's get this over with."
The Mane 6 nodded and they all ran towards battle.
Edward went into VATS and aimed at 3 of the Changlings. One at the head and the other two to their torsos. All of which a critical shots and so that's 3 down, hundreds of more to go. He sighed and thought, 'This is going to take a while.'
That changed quickly when he caught a glimpse of a particular Changling, which was female and have a similar height as the princess is and he thought, 'Or maybe a quick battle.
"It is I, Queen Chrysalis, here to take over your kingdom and this time, nopony can stop me!" she said as she let out an evil laugh.
Edward thought, 'Queen Chrysalis, huh. And I thought that crazy ant lady back at the Capital Wasteland was crazy but she is probably beats her in a long run. Time to introduce myself.'
Edward walk out of the dust and noises of the raging battle, equipping himself with his .45 auto pistol 'Light Shining in Darkness', his eyes glowing bright green towards Queen Chrysalis who noticed him when he stepped out to the opening.
"Who dares to approach me, the Queen of Changlings, and challenges me?" Chrysalis demanded.
Edward replied back in a calm but deadly voice, "You may call me the Courier, and this is my message, my warning, to take your Changlings with you, leave, and never return....or.....face your own demise as you slowly bleed out when your throat is slit from one side to the other, so...what shall it be?" he said as he ended with a deathly tone.
"HA, I like to see if you can back up those words with your might, 'Courier.' She said as she laugh at Edward's 'messege'. She then ordered her Changlings to attack him, "Attack and kill this pathetic pony that dares to threaten me!"
"That is what the Monster of the East said and right now he is no more, but you will join him." he said flatly as he replaced his .45 with his katana he gotten from Gun Runners' Arsenal and charged at the wave of Changlings and swiftly eliminated all of the Changlings and all the other Changlings and the Royal Guards stopped their fight as they are in awe and in fear as well as the Mane 6, Cadence, Shining Armor, and Celestia with this stranger's swift victory against a large wave of Changlings. Even Queen Chrysalis was shocked to see the 'Courier' taking down her top ranking troops in a matter of seconds.
Edward then turned towards her and simply said, "This is your last chance, leave or die. What shall it be, hmm?"
Queen Chrysalis thought for a second and then ordered all Changlings to fall back. When all them started running, Chrysalis turned back at the Courier and said, "This not the last you see me, Courier, and next time, you'll be the one who will suffer, as well as to all of you." Then she disappeared along with the Changlings who retreated back to their home.
Edward sheathed his katana and simply said, "Hmm, good riddance to that."
He then turned around and saw that everypony was staring at him in awe and fear mixed together. Edward just asked out, "What, I did say that I've been through many battles to my lifetime, alright."
It's been a couple of hours after the battle at Canterlot and Edward and the Mane 6 was brought to the castle where Princess Celestia lives. Celestia asked Edward if she and the 6 would be able to see his past by his own memories. Edward just said, "Yeah, go ahead, you need to learn about the Wasteland anyway."
It took a few minutes for Celestia and the Mane 6 to prepared. Celestia asks, "Are you ready?"
"Yes, I'm ready. Just Start from my old and further on." Edward answered.
Celestia gave a nod and her horn starts to glow and a flash of white light came.
Celestia and the Mane 6 were blinded for a few moments and when it dimed down, the first thing they noticed is that they were in some stone and metal structure, but then they saw 2 bipedal creatures. One wore a jumpsuit with a big 101 on the back while the other a lab coat.
"Looks like your actually in perfect health condition, now go on son and take the G.O.A.T. test" the one in labcoat said.
"Sure Dad, love ya." a familiar voice from the other.
"Love you too, Edward."
Celestia and the six realises that who they were was young Edward and his father.
Celestia and the 6 followed young Edward until they heard a commotion "Get out of my way you stupid Tunnel Snakes!"
One of them in leather jackets replied "Why don't you try and make us Amata."
Celestia and the 6 noticed Edward walked over to one of them and said, "Butch, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave or else."
The one name Butch replied, "And who are you, her boyfriend, HA. Keep talking like that and you have some broken bones for your father to fix, got me?"
"If you don't leave her alone, I will report you to the Overseer, Ok?" Said Edward.
"Ok, fine we'll deal with her later, come on Tunnel Snakes, let's get out of here."
Edward walk over to Amata and ask, "You alright Amata?"
"Yeah, thanks Edward, your the best friend I ever have." Amata replied.
Then Edward and Amata walk towards class then a bright light came over Celestia and the 6 and next they know they saw Edward outside and the landscape they are looking at is a desolate wasteland, but one thing that caught their eyes is the tall tower of stone that stands in the distance and Edward said, "Dad, where have you gone? I will find you and get some answers from him about why he left me in that Vault without me."
Twilight recognize a single word. 'Vault'. So thats where they were before, a Vault.
Then in a flash, they notice that they were in a completely different location that was cold and notices that Edward was wearing a winterized military armor fighting against a bunch of strange talking soldiers.
After he finished them off, they heard him say, "Dam, this simulation seems very real. And I can't believe I am partaking in this part of history of liberating Anchorage, Alaska from the Red Chinese Communists. Awesome! Okay now got to meet up with Benji."
Then in a flash, They were surrounded by rubble and ruins. They see Edward wearing some sort of winterized armor, fighting off some yellow beasts until beams of light started wiping out the beasts and the source of these light beams is a group of slightly different metal armored soldiers. Edward walked over to a blond woman and talked to them. Celestia and the 6 overheard that they are with the Brotherhood of Steel. Celestia realizes that it was Edward's first allies he met.
Then another flash of light came upon them and the next thing they know, they were in some sort of town and saw very large ants that lay dead and noticed Edward kneeling down, talking to a young child. They heard Edward who said, "Well I can't just leave you alone here without someone to take care of you. Let me help you find a new home."
The child said with cheer, "Really? You mean it? Thank you so much! Most people would have just continued walking when I come running, screaming like I did. You are the nicest person I have ever known." he said as he hug Edward. Celestia and the 6 showed sympathy towards Edward who help this poor child who lost his father to these ants.
Then another flash came and they we're somewhere completely made of metal. The 7 of them noticed Edward running with a woman and a young child towards some sort of tubes. Edward stopped and turned around to shoot at what looks like small green men that pursues them. The 7 heard Edward commented, "Out of all the things that has to happen to me, it has to be getting abducted by fucking aliens. At least I am not getting experimented on."
A few seconds later, 3 men came out of the 4 tubes, but the 4th man wearing some sort of a suit fell over motionless. The 3 others were a man wearing white armor just like the one when Edward was wearing when he was in the simulation, a country style man, and a black armored warrior. The warrior was speaking in some other language that the 7 never heard of until the one in white armor mentioning the warrior being a samurai and being from Japan. The one in white armor that the 7 found out was named Elliot and the cowboy Paul. What shocks Celestia and the Mane 6 is that each and every one of them are from a different time frame.
A flash came upon the 7 and they were standing in front of a statue of a man sitting on a throne of sorts. They see Edward standing next to a man with darkish skin. They overheard Edward saying, "Well done! You have restored the Lincoln Memorial to its prewar condition. When I was still in class in Vault 101, I always loved to learn the history about our 16th President of the U.S., Abraham Lincoln, aka Honest Abe. To think that he became president in order to abolish slavery for good, even if it lead to a civil war between the north and south, and gain victory. But when he was assassinated at the Ford Theatre by being shot back in the head after the war, it was the most horrible thing possible."
The man next to hi nodded and replied, "Yes, you're right. It was awful." Edward turned towards the man and added, "But if Abraham Lincoln was giving a choice to either abolish slavery and sacrifice his own life or not, I bet he would picked the first option, no doubt about it."
The man thought for a moment and then turned towards Edward and replied, "That there is the truth, fellow brother. Also furthermore, you will always welcome here."
Another flash and before them was a large, beached, metal ship with a sign that reads 'Rivet City'. Celestia and the 6 were in awe by the sight of this city. They saw Edward and his father, with other scientist, leaving the city towards a large building in the distance.
Then a flash came again and there was green energy fire coming from devil-like men and are aiming at Edward who quickly eliminated them quickly. They heard Edward whispered, "Dam these Enclave basterds." Celestia quickly realizes that these devil-like men were the Enclave that Edward mentioned about back at the palace.
Then a quick flash came upon them and before them was two more Enclave troopers as well a sort of general, along Edward's father and a scientist in the chamber. Edward pounded the sealed door who eventually stopped and stood there. Then after a few seconds the general pulled out a pistol and shot the scientist, then Edward's dad turned and walk towards a machine with buttons and pressed a few buttons. After a few seconds, a small explosion occurred and the Enclave troops along the general starting to fall over in a painful agony. Edward shouted, "Dad! NOOOO!"
Then his dad slowly walk over and said, "Run, Edward, run while you still can." as he fell over to the floor, motionless. Edward started to cry shouting, "Dad please don't please!" Tears started to fill Celestia and 6's eyes and Fluttershy whimpered, "Oh poor Edward." *snif*
Then a flash came and they were back inside of stone and steel, but different. Before them was a large metal golem with a blue single visor as well as a few familiar faces from the BOS. Edward had a friendly yellow beast with him with a strange device on his back. Then the blonde girl shouted, "Alright Lyon's Pride, move out!" as well as a very different voice that came from the golem.
"WEAPON SYSTEMS: ONLINE; OBJECTIVE: ELIMINATE ANY AND ALL RED CHINESE INVADERS AND SECURE PROJECT PURITY; POWER SYSTEMS: 98%; DESIGNATION: LIBERTY PRIME; BETTER DEAD THAN RED"
Then they heard Edward who said, "Alright, let's go Fawkes and let's show these motherfuckers what is coming to them."
Fawkes replied, "Yes, lets."
Then another smaller and stranger looking golem that has three eyes, three arms, and it hovers. It had a color of sage green with a white star and it came to Edward saying, "RL-3 SERGEANT UNIT AT THE READY SIR! LET US GO KILL SOME COMMIE BASTARDS!"
Edward replied, "Now that's what I'm talking about."
Then a quick flash and they noticed that they were on a bridge until a large foot from the large golem that they figure him as Liberty Prime who marched towards, leading the Brotherhood to battle. It spoke, "COMMUNISM IS A TEMPORARY SETBACK ON THE ROAD TO FREEDOM, AND I WILL DESTROY THIS VERY BLOCKADE!" Celestia and the 6 were amazed after the golem's quote.
Then another flash came and and saw Edward walking into a familiar room, which Celestia and the 6 remembered, and the overheard Edward saying, "Revelation 21:6, I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End, I will give onto him that is the thirst of the Fountain of the Water of Life, freely." Then turned towards his friends and continued, "This is where it all began, you know. That very passage gave my mom and dad the idea of Project Purity, to purified all the irradiated waters into fresh clean water for everyone in the wastes to drink without sickness and death that follows. This is where my parents have started, now I must finish it where it all began." He finishes and walk into the chamber where his father have perished in and pressed 2.1.6. and then a bright light erupted from the chamber and reveals an inner chamber with a statue that has the description 'Thomas Jefferson' and then a brighter light blinds Celestia and the 6 and then the find themselves a completely different place which was a warzone.
They see Liberty Prime pointing in a direction saying, "SATELLITE UPLINK DETECTED. ANALYSIS DICTATE COMMUNIST ORIGIN." Then alarms blurred out and LP commented, "WARNING: RED CHINESE ORBITAL STRIKE IMMINENT. ALL PERSONNEL MUST REACH MINIMAL SAFE DISTANCE IMMEDIATELY." The 7 Looked up and saw coming down from the sky and explosions occurred right at LP stood. The smoke cleared and what shocked the 7 was by fear and sorrow. There lay what's left of LP as he slowly crawls toward the BOS soldiers, especially Edward. Then his head popped off and what LP's last words was, "I DIE SO THAT DEMOCRACY SHAll....BE....FREE."
Edward yelled out, "NOOOO!! GODDAMIT!!! WHY!? WHY HIM!?" as he fell onto his knees. Then a blinding light came over the 7 and they see Edward and Fawkes heading towards a town of sorts. All of a sudden, a large, horned, large clawed reptile came charging at them and Edward yelled out to Fawkes, "Fawkes! Watch out for that Deathclaw to your right!" Twilight recognized the word 'Deathclaw' and she had a reaction of fear when she first looked at it. She thought, 'So thats a Deathclaw? I can now see why it is so terrifying.'
Another blinding of light came and they see Edward holding some sort of weapon that shoots out electric shots. Vertibirds, Enclave Troops, and everything else being blown up by Edward's weapon. Then another flash of light came over them and they were at what looks like a graveyard.
Celestia and the 6 noticed Edward was in binds and some men, including one that is digging a grave. They noticed bright lights from a city in the distance but then the turned towards a certain figure in a checkered coat. Rarity's eyes brighten and said, "Oh my, now that attire is fabulous."
The checked-suited man walked up towards Edward, who regain consciousness, and spoke, "Time to cash out."
He was interrupted by one of the differently dressed man who said, "Would you get over with."
"Maybe Khans shoot people before thinking, but I aim to think, dig?"
The Khan growed quietly as his response.
"You made your last delivery kid." as he pulls out a chip made of platinum.
Twilight felt a familiarity towards the chip, but couldn't quite remember.
"Sorry you got twisted in this situation..." as he pulled out a familiar gun.
Twilight's eyes widened for she recognize the gun that Edward had. This man was Benny.
She told Celestia and the 5, "Wait, I think I know this guy, its Benny, the one who shoot Edward in the head."
The 5 were horrified and Celestia realizes that it was him.
"And where you're kneeling is on a 18-carrot run of bad luck, but truth is....the game was rigged from the start." Then Benny shot Edward and a flash of light overcame them and they realized that they were not far from the previous location was daylight. Celestia and the 6 noticed Edward coming out of a house on the hill talking to a doctor of sorts. Then they notice another golem on a wheel and a television face. Edward walked over to it and the golem said, "Well howdy partner, might I say looking fit as a fiddle."
Applejack notices the accent that the golem had. Edward respond, "You must be Victor, the robot that dug me out of that grave and saved my ass."
"Well of course, I'm always ready to help to a stranger in need." Victor said.
"Do you know those men who attacked me?"
"Sorry, can't say I am familiar with the rascals, but the towns folks might be able to help ya out"
"Well alright, thanks anyway. See ya later, Victor."
"Happy trails."
The golem turned so that Celestia and the 6 could see his face, which surprised them, even Applejack. The golem's face was a human face with a stetson hat and have something in it's mouth.
Then the flash came again to see that Edward was at a complete different location, sitting right next to a man in a vest with a 'SLCPD' as well as 'SWAT' on it. They also noticed him completely bandaged up and looking like a mummy. Edward asks him about the religion that his people, the New Canaanites, worship. The man simply said, "We worship a religion that dates back thousands of centuries ago, specifically around after B.C. ended. It is about deeds we done which would be decided in our judgement to see if we deserve to go to the heavens or burn in the bowls of Hell."
Edward replied, "I think I know of what religion you are talking about, it's Christianity, is it?"
"Why yes, how do you know about it?"
"My dad and I have a favorite passage from the Bible."
"What is that passage?"
"Revelation 21:6, I am Alpha and Omega, The Beginning and the End, I would give on to him that is the thirst of the Fountain of the Water of Life, Freely."
"Ah, I am also familiar with that phrase, and how is your father?"
Edward sighed and slowly look up to the faded blue sky and simply replied, "He is in a better place."
The man knew what Edward meant when he said that.
"You have my sympathy, as well as all of the Sorrows, for the mourn for everyone, even their enemies. How did It happen?"
"Have you heard about the Enclave's return and terrorized the entire Capital Wasteland?"
The man nodded. Edward continued, "Well my dad was the leading scientist for Project Purity, which is the reason why all water sources have been purified, but then the Enclave killed him right in front of me and afterwards, luckily, the Brotherhood of Steel help me to defend the rest of the entire wasteland from them."
"Brotherhood of Steel? Why would they help people?"
"Well this Brotherhood of Steel was lead by an Elder Lyons, who decided that they can use the technology they had salvaged to protect people, in fact, they knew my father before I was even born."
The man sat there in silence for a moment, but then continued, "Well your father did a great job of raising you, and he has my thanks to have you here, helping the Dead Horses and the Sorrows Tribes to fight off the barbaric White Legs."
"I'm sure he knows, thank you, Joshua Graham."
Then a bright white light returns and there stood Edward and a floating metal orb, as well as a dark-skinned man with dreadlocks. He wore a breathing apparatus and a duster with no sleeves. On the back was a symbol of a blue orb with small white stars surrounding a single large white star and beneath the orb was a few red and white stripes. He wields a staff with a golden eagle on the top.
Edward turned towards the floating orb, "ED-E.." then towards the man, "Ulysses..."
Then he look towards the entrance which was exploded open and waves of zombie-like people starting to pour in and Edward said, "..Let's give our guests a warm welcome."
Ulysses replied, "Yes, we shall."
A series of determined beeps came from ED-E to show that he was ready.
Edward turned toward him and said, "I guess your wish came true, you actually became just like Ralphie."
A series of happy beeps came from ED-E as his response.
Then the three charged in into battle but was interrupted by a white flash of light.
Celestia and the 6 noticed that they were on some cliff and what they see before the shocked all 7 of them. A great gigantic wall that expands from one side of the river to the other. They noticed that Edward, along with a slightly different ED-E and a different person. He wore a uniform of sorts with a 2-headed bear on him. He also wore a red beret of sorts and a pair of sunglasses.
The 3 stood there for a moment until Edward said, "So...this is the famous Hoover Dam? I gotta say, you weren't kidding about it being larger than some mountains, Boone."
"I told you so. Now lets get there, we don't want to be late for our meeting." Boone said.
"Right, let's go."
Then another flash of light and Celestia and the 6 were on the dam watching Edward, Boone, ED-E, and some other troopers ducking cover when Edward pointed and shouted, "B-29, coming in for a bombing run!"
The seven looked up where he pointed and what they saw was unimaginable.
Afterwards, Celestia and the 5 were all gaping mouths, except Rainbow Dash who said, "That. Was. AWESOME!!!"
Then again, the flash of light showed and there before them was Edward, who was wielding the Katana, was facing a armored clad warrior with a mask on.
He spoke, "So, if it isn't the Courier himself, representing the 2-headed bear."
Edward spoke, "You too, Monster of the East, or should I say, Legate Lanius." with a deathly tone.
Celestia and the 6 shivered at the Legate's nickname that Edward gave him.
"You shall be a worthy opponent, I'll have to admit." the Legate said.
"Once I'm done with you, Caesar's Legion itself will fade into the Wastes as well as history itself."
"I like to see if you can back those words with strength."
"Trust me, you won't be disappointed."
Then the two charged at each other but was interrupted by a flash of light. Celestia and the 6 then saw Edward, Boone, and ED-E stopping at an intersection.
Edward turned toward his friends and said, "Well, I guess this is it guys. This might be the last time we will ever see each other." Edward took his helmet off to see his friends without it on. He then smiled towards them as if it is alright, but sorrow filled his heart. He knows he will miss their company, but he will grow out of it.
"Yeah, I guess it is it. Huh, you know, I never thought that I would ever be this sort of journey took me when I decided to come along with you just to end up having what we just been through, ant to say that I'm glad I did. All I have to say is that it was a pleasure being by your side till the end, Edward." Boone replied. He wore a NCR Infantry uniform with a red beret and Ariel Sunglasses, wielding a sniper rifle and a combat knife.
<Sad beeping>
Edward looked towards ED-E and reassure him. "Don't worry, ED-E, we might meet each other again." He turns to face both of them and continued. "All of us will meet each other again, but until then, goodbye."
"Goodbye, make sure you don't get yourself killed out there, Ed." Boone said as he went back towards Nipton and return back to his home in Novac.
<Beeping>
ED-E tried to say goodbye but said instead with beeps, but Edward knew he said goodbye.
"Goodbye ED-E, I promise we will meet each other again, and make sure you don't become something raiders use as target practice, okay?" Edward replied.
<Agreeing beeping>
Edward smiled and said, "Okay, good. now get back to Primm or, if you want, Goodsprings, if you want." He put on his helmet as he watched ED-E floated away towards the route towards Primm.
Edward walked around the intersection because of the fallen bridge and headed towards the gas station for the night. He stayed outside as he watch the sunset and watched the stars afterwards. He turned on his radio on his Pipboy and relaxed as he listens to his favorite tune before heading inside to rest.
Then a final flash of light shows the reason how he gotten to Equestria. A portal suddenly opened which made Edward jumped. He pulled out 'Lucky' and aimed it towards the portal, prepared for anything to jump out to kill him, but lowered his gun when nothing came out. He slowly stepped towards the portal very cautiously, with his hand on his weapon. After the 7th step, he then felt that the portal was sucking him in and reacted, but was too late, then the memories ended and returned to reality With Edward rubbing his head saying, "Oh God, this headache is even worst than the time I got shot in the head. Is it over?"
Celestia nodded and said, "Yes, it is done and I have to say, you have definitely been through a lot of things."
Then Fluttershy walked over towards Edward and hugs him and said, "I am so sorry about your dad, Edward."
Edward didn't say anything but let her continued. Afterwards, Rainbow Dash ran up with excitement, "Whatever that flying metal beast on the large dam was, it was so awesome!"
"What, the B-29 Superfortress bomber? Yeah it is awesome, I guess." Edward agreed.
Rainbow Dash eyes widened and asks, "Is that what that thing is called, a superfortress? Awesome!"
Edward replied, "Yup, and as far as I know, it is one of the biggest American bombers ever built throughout the Second World War."
"Wow, are for real? That thing was the biggest thing ever built? Cool!" Rainbow Dash cheered.
Applejack trotted in and asks, "Hey, is there anyway that I can meet this Victor fella by any chance?"
Edward pondered for a moment but answered, "Maybe , I don't know, we will see."
Applejack nodded and then asks, "Also why was that man named...uh... you said something being the 16th of your country..."
Edward answered, "Abraham Lincoln?"
Applejack smiled and continued, "Yes, him. Why is he nicknamed 'Honest Abe'?"
Edward replied, "Well probably he never told a lie in his life, for all I know."
"Huh, really?"
"Yep."
Celestia thought for a few moments, 'This one has been through many trials and challenges, we definantly learned a lot more better since we look at his memories, and might as well be the last best hope for everyone.'

The CMC and a...wait why is there a Deathclaw! (part 1)
It has been a day after the princess and the 6 saw Edward's past from his own memories, and it was a peaceful, quiet day, which he rather enjoyed. Edward trotted along in Ponyville, getting to know the town better. It has been an hour or so until he came to a small schoolhouse that is somewhat similar to the one he saw in Goodsprings.
He walked towards until he heard voices saying, "Blank flank, blank flank, hahahaha!"
He had a feeling that was a bad thing. So he went to investigate further until he saw 5 younger ponies, but 2 of them were somewhat making fun of the 3 of them calling them 'blank flank', whatever that means. He thought, 'I hate these types, always making fun of others, thinking they are better than anyone else.'
He thought for a moment on how to approach this until he thought, 'Well since I'm still wearing my Desert Ranger combat armor and the fact that hardly anypony here knows about this or even know me, I might be able to scare those brats off.'
He then walk slowly behind the two, trying to be as quiet as possible without any of them noticing a finally was right behind them.
Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle were standing there with the expression that says 'really, are you serious' look at Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Scootaloo said, "*sigh* This is getting old, Diamond Tiara. How abo..." She stop in mid-sentence as she, Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle looked above Diamond Tiara's and Silver Spoon's heads to see a shadowy figure with green glowing eyes.
The two stop to look at what the 3 were looking at, which when they looked, their eyes widened in fear. Then the figure leaned in closer and said, "Boo!"
Edward leaned closer and spoke, "Boo!" The two ran off screaming away before he even say the letter A. He then yelled out, "That's right, you better run you brats!"
The 3 looked at him and he quickly responded, "Sorry about that. I just had to do that just to get them stop bullying you girls."
The 3 look at each other in utter surprise and then the one with a bow says, "Well thanks mist'r, you have no idea how much they'd been doin' that same thing fo' years. I never seen you before, who are you?"
"The names Edward." Edward responded.
"Wait, you're the one that mah sister told us about."
"Your sister?" Edward questions.
"Applejack, of course."
"Oh, wait you're her little sister? huh. who would've thought."
"Mah names Apple Bloom."
"The names Scootaloo."
"I'm Sweetie Belle."
And then in unison, "And we're the Cutie Mark Crusaders!"
Edward cringed with they shouted and replied, "Ow, my ears are ringing now. C-can tone it down a little?"
The 3 had a sheepish look and said, "Sorry."
"It's alright, just next time keep it down, but it's not your fault, you girls have tons of energy in all of you." Edward replied
Edward thought for a moment and just then, he replied, "So, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, huh? Why do you call yourselves that?
Scootaloo answered, "We are on a quest to find our cutie marks."
Edward asked, "Cutie Marks? What's that?"
The 3 were surprise from the question and Sweetie Belle asks, "How do you not know what a cutie mark is?"
"Well for one, I'm not from around here, in-fact not from this world either, and two, I wasn't a pony for my whole life until I arrive in that forest over there." Edward replied.
Scootaloo asks, "So wait, you are saying that you are an alien?"
"If you count with dimensional travel, then yes, I guess I am."
In unison, the three replied, "Cool."
"You know, there was an order of knights known as the Knights Crusaders, or Templars for short." Edward inquired.
"Really?!" in unison.
"Yep and the only one they served was known as the King of Kings , the Lord of Lords, and the Maker of the Heavens and my world, Earth, who created all life on my world and made each and every destiny for each and every person in my world, known as God." Edward responded.
The trio's eyes widened and said, "Wow."
Scootaloo asked, "So they must be the good guys, right?"
Edward answered, "In a way, yes they were."
"Were?" asked Apple Bloom.
"Well this was centuries ago, I doubt their order still exists, but yeah, they fought against nations that tries to take over others through war, and mostly are victorious. They protect the ones who can't protect themselves and die for them."
Again, the trio response was, "Wow."
Sweetie Belle asks, "How was their order ended?"
"I really don't know but it had something to do with the French, but I ......" Edward was interrupted by a roar from the forest.
Scootaloo asks, "What was that?"
Edward said, "Oh no, why here, how?"
Apple Bloom asks Edward, "What is it Mr. Edward?"
Edward turned to them and said, "Run, now!"
Right when he said it, the creature he recognize came from out of the forest and slowly stalked them. It was a Deathclaw that he encountered throughout his adventures and travels, which he surely hated.
Scootaloo asked shakenly, "Wha-what is that thing?!"
Edward sighed and said, "A Deathclaw, and you girls need to get out of here, and find Twilight and the others. They will know what to do. Now go quickly!"
In unison, the replied, "Okay."
The 3 ran off and Edward faced the very creature he hated and said, "Come at me you over-grown lizard!" as he pulled out a .45 auto submachine gun (Thompson SMG) and readied himself as the Deathclaw roared and charged at him.
