Queen Chrysalis woke up to the chorus of her changeling minions. Her eyelids felt heavy and she wasn't even going to bother leaving her bed, but a Queen had to do her duties. With a groan, she pulled her blanket off of her pillow and peeled her eyes open. She tiredly rolled off the bed and put her crown upon her head. Then, her mind went crazy with all the duties she'll have to do today.

Breakfast.

The Queen walked out of her bedchambers, where she was greeted with 'good mornings' and bows from her subjects as she made her way to the kitchen. She eyed the refrigerator and opened it using her telekinesis, upon opening it, she scanned the contents.

It was to Chrysalis's horror that the fridge was empty! With a sigh, the Queen slammed the door shut and went to her personal chef, Lovey Flay, who was whistling a little tune to himself as he entered the kitchen with a smile.

I swear, if Lovey comes up with a lousy excuse again, I will kick his flank!

Chrysalis opened every cabinet door in the kitchen and when she halfway through, she heard a familiar voice call out to her.

"Good morning, your Highness." said Lovey, bowing down to his queen.

"Morning, Lovey," Chrysalis replied with a slight bitterness in her tone.

"Is there something wrong, your majesty?"

Chrysalis resumed to rifle through the cabinets. "Lovey, did you buy some food at all this morning? Your Queen is hungry!"

"Oh, we ran out of food last night.."

This made Chrysalis freeze in tracks. "We ran out of food...last night?" She turned towards Lovey and walked towards him with an angry glare. "What were you and my other cooks doing last night?!"

"Oh, well, it turned out that all of the guards were hungry for all of our food in the kitchen last night, and when I told them no, they just threw me in a trashcan and ate all of the food in the cabinets and fridge!"

This made Chrysalis grab Lovey with her magic and put his face close to hers as she glared at him. "And you didn't bother waking me up to stop them?!"

"Well, your Highness, all of us know on how much you need your beauty sleep and-"

Chrysalis groaned as she dropped Lovey to the floor.

Lovey shivered like a cowardly baby and looked at his Queen. "And, we know what happens when we wake you up in the middle of the night.."

"Yes, yes, I know.. I threaten to feed you candy hearts and make you do an embarrassing dance in front of everyone, but when the guards are either making complete fools of themselves or breaking one of the rules, you must come to me right away! And, that's what you should've done last night!"

Lovey sighed. "I'm sorry, my Queen. I promise to never make this mistake again. I'll go to Canterlot and buy some groceries right away. And, when I say groceries, I mean love."

"Ugh, I don't have time to wait." Chrysalis said as she turned away and grabbed her saddlebag. "I need to feed now. I'm going to that new Pizzeria that just opened, and while I'm gone, you better not do anything stupid or I will feed you to the hounds."

"Yes, Your Majesty," Lovey said with a stupid frown on his face. "Have fun!"

Chrysalis soon lit her horn and turned into a pink Pegasus mare with a blue mane and a blue lightning cutie mark and flew out of the hive, heading towards the Pizzeria. "Gosh, sometimes these Changelings annoy the love out of me!" she mumbled to herself as she flew in the air with a frown.

Outside, Chrysalis flew towards Canterlot, where she was defeated by that stupid, sexy Twilight the last time she was in the Capitol. On normal days, when she finished eating breakfast, she would change into a Pegasus pony and explore Canterlot and try her best to get her cover protected.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a day to spend some time relaxing.

She needed to eat right now.

Luckily, her hive was located near Canterlot where the new Pizzeria opened just a few weeks ago, and fortunately for her, Chrysalis was able to digest normal pony food unlike the rest of her subjects. Sometimes, she grew tired of getting love out of ponies since it was starting to loose its taste. Plus, it made her fat.

Chrysalis soon saw the Pizzeria from below and flew towards it as fast as she could with her Pegasus wings and landed near the front doors of the restaurant. The scent of baking bread, cheese and hay entered her nostrils, making Chrysalis sigh as she pushed open the doors and entered the Pizzeria.

Inside was a place of chaos, ponies were scattering all over the place, either grabbing the pizzas they ordered, getting their drinks, or eating their meal.

Chrysalis shook her head as she walked up to the counter, where a brown unicorn stallion with a blue and white mane stood, obviously sleeping on the job. She approached the counter and rang the bell that stood in front of the cash register and this made the stallion wake up from his slumber and rub his eyes. The stallion looked up at Chrysalis with a fake smile when he laid his eyes on her.

"Hello there, ma'am," he said, pretending to be in a happy mood. "Welcome to Pony Joe's Pizzeria, what can I get you today?"

Chrysalis, still disguised in her pony form. "I'll have two slices of cheese and a large soda. Now!"

"Coming right up, ma'am!"

"Thank you, you don't know how happy I am to be receiving this meal!"

"Alright." the stallion said as he got back to the counter. "Two slices of cheese and a large drink, here you go! That will be 15 bits."

Chrysalis grunted and levitated a bag of bits from her saddlebag and threw it upon the counter, where the stallion raised his eyebrow as he opened the bag and looked at her bits. "Um, ma'am, these aren't bits. These are pieces of bones. I'm sorry, but you must pay with bits."

This made Chrysalis glare at the stallion and punch the stallion in the nose as she levitated her meal as a hush had taken over the big shop as she exited the shop and flew to her hive.

Chrysalis sat on her table in the kitchen as she ate her meal. Lovey was sitting beside her, still looking guilty.

"So, how's your meal, your Highness?"

Chrysalis took a sip of her drink as she looked at him, her eyes staring into his. She took a bite of pizza.

"Well, it's much better than that sick mush you call spaghetti on Spaghetti Tuesday, you literally cook the spaghetti in a cauldron full of white sauce, and I don't wanna know what its made of."

This made Lovey giggle nervously. "All right, I'll admit it. I use Alfredo sauce."
