When the Mane 6 were zapped into Spike's comic book, Maretropolis, they became the Power Ponies. But when this transition happened, the Power Ponies were zapped out of their own book, and into Equestria.

Twilight Sparkle and company had been zapped into Spike's comic book because of Spike's own fault. But at exactly the same time, Humdrum was doing it with a comic book of the Mane 6. So, while the Mane 6 and Spike were the new Power Ponies, and were trying to learn how to tame their powers, the real Power Ponies, trapped in Equestria, tried to learn how to be normal ponies for the day, and not mess up the reputation of the Mane 6. But while they're at it, the real Power Ponies actually defeat a group of villains which had come back to take revenge on the Mane 6, and actually end up saving Ponyville.

In the early morning, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy decided to take part in refurbishing the Royal Pony Sisters' castle, something that they all believed had been long overdue. Tapestries had fallen, the walls were cracked, and the library was covered in probably five inches of dust. Everypony was cleaning, while Spike couldn't stop reading the most interesting comic (or so he thought it was) in all of Equestria. Last night, he had been tired of hearing Twilight annoy him, asking Spike what the plot was about. Pretty much, all she knew about it was that it was a comic book. And if Spike knew Twilight, she would soon go mad if he didn't tell her what the book was about, because it seemed to Spike that Twilight had to know every detail about every book in every library. So, he'd given up.

"Pleease Spike, tell me what it's about!!" begged Twilight.

"No, I wanna catch some z's Twilight, I didn't rest at all yesterday!" he said sleepily, burying himself under his blanket and pillow, and instantly beginning to snore, like most baby dragons did.

"Tell me or I'll keep this light on!" yelled Twilight, flipping the switch to turn on a lamp. "Tell me!"

Spike yawned and looked around for his comic book, which he saw Twilight was trying to get to with her alicorn magic. Spike dove for the book, hugging it tightly. He sighed and yawned again.

"If I tell you, will you let me sleep?" he asked. Twilight frantically nodded, and practically threw herself on Spike, trying to listen.

"If you insist," he said, flipping the comic book to a specific page, showing it to his purple friend, who asked,

"Who is that?"

Spike yawned.

"It's the Mane-iac, before she went loco. In fact, she was actually kind of beautiful, but I'm staying loyal to Rarity. So, anyways, the Mane-iac was an employee at a shampoo factory, and actually made a lot of money out of it. But then, there was this freak accident," he paused and flipped the page. "And she turned crazy!"

The comic book showed a pretty mare, walking on a small, fragile railing above some giant tubs of chemicals which would be implied into the shampoos later on. They were green and bubbling. On the next page, it showed the mare stumbling, and screaming, and falling into the giant wave of chemicals, probably dead.

"She's not dead," said Spike, flipping the page again. "She just went nutty,"

This time, the comic book showed the mare floating to the top of the tub of toxic waste, her eyes wide open, and pupils so small they were barely visible. Twilight noticed all her mane and tail was gone, replaced by something that looked suspiciously like algae, sprouting out instead. It was green and long, and kept growing without stopping, everywhere. Then, Twilight noticed something else.

"Her mane... walks?" asked Twilight, surprised. Spike just nodded, and closed the comic book.

"And then, there are these ponies. They're actually known as the Power Ponies, and their sidekick Humdrum," he said the sidekick's name with such disgust that Twilight didn't even want to know why. "And they try and stop the Mane-iac with their powers. They're really cool," Spike concluded. "So now, let me sleep in peace!" he said, rolling over and tossing the comic book aside.

Now, while everypony was cleaning, Spike decided he wanted to help too. Sure, his comic book was interesting, but he wanted some time to hang out with his best friends too.

"Fluttershy, is there anything I could help with?" he asked.

"I don't think so. I only have to finish dusting these shelves, and I can handle it myself Spike. But I'm ever so grateful for you asking. Maybe Twilight needs your help?" she asked, a bird hovering above her.

"Twilight, need a hoof?"

"Oh, sorry Spike. I wasn't planning on doing anything I needed any help with. Why don't you go ahead and finish your comic book? Don't you want to find out what happens to the Power Ponies and the Crazy-ac?" she said in a cheerful tone.

"It's Mane-iac," he muttered under his breath. He jogged over to Pinkie Pie, the completely pink mare, who was on a giant ladder.

"Pinkie, need assistance?"

"Nopie dokie lokie!" she said, throwing a book down at Spike, hitting him in the head. She kept muttering random things to herself, and Spike wondered what was going on in that mare's head.

"You okay, Applejack?" he asked as she walked around as if she was looking for something.

"Oh, Spike? Uh, nope. Ah was just lookin' for a vase ter bring Apple Bloom. She's too scared to cum 'ere 'erself, so she wants me ter do it," said Applejack, still looking around the place.

"R-Ra-Rarity? Do you need help with anything?" he asked, feeling his heart begin to melt inside as the mare turned around to face him. Her eyes were so dazzling and blue...

"Spikey Wikey, I'm afraid that I am now an independent mare, and everything today I will be doing myself," she said sorrily.

"How come?" he asked, following her down a corridor.

"Well, some stallions seem to think needing my sister Sweetie Belle and you to help me means I am... what is the word? Lazy. So, here I am, trying to be independent. Is it working?" she asked. Spike just shrugged, looking for Rainbow Dash.

"There you are, Rainbow! Need help with what you're doing?" he asked the cyan mare. But she shook her head furiously at Spike.

"No. I'm just trying to pull a little prank up on Applejack," she said, trying to sneak towards Applejack. Rainbow Dash was doomed if Applejack saw her; doomed for trying to prank and scare her.

Sadly, Spike walked towards the library, into a secret chamber Twilight and him had found a few weeks ago. Spike decided to plop down of a chair and finish reading his comic once and for all.

"I might as well finish this comic book. Everyone's treating me like Humdrum, and I really wanna see how it ends," he said, flipping to the last page of the book. He was extremely close to being done.

The page seemed to end too quickly for Spike's taste. There was barely any conversation between the characters, and mostly, the pictures were of the Mane-iac. He was tired of seeing the Mane-iac's face on every single page.

"Already done. Wow, that ending did not surprise me. Wait, what's this?"

Spike was looking at the corner of the last page in the comic book, which had been left blank. He had seen something tiny in the corner of it, written in a black, messy, inky handwriting.

"What's it say?" he asked himself, searching around the room for a magnifying glass to be able to read what the small, hard-to-read text said.

Meanwhile, Twilight had decided it was time to go back to Ponyville, and they had done as much as they could, and it was quite enough, for herself and for her friends (especially Rarity, who wasn't very into the dusty, dirty icky stuff). She was about to leave, when she realized that Spike wasn't right behind her, like he usually always was, all the time. She then remembered that she had sent Spike away to read his comic.

"Spike, where are you?"asked Pinkie Pie, as she realized the same thing Twilight Sparkle had.

"Spikey? Wasn't he right behind us, girls?" asked Rarity, looking behind them, just to notice he wasn't there.

"Spike? Now, where are ya, ya little rascal?" called Applejack. And soon, the whole crowd was yelling Spike's name, as Spike, not hearing their calls, finally found a magnifying glass and had started to read the footnote.

"You can return to the place you started when the Mane-iac is defeated. Take a closer look to join the adventure in this book.." said Spike, reading each word with care, pronouncing each syllable with clarity. But suddenly, he felt a tingling sensation going through his body, and a bright, blue flash of light emerged from the comic book, engulfing Spike with the brilliant, dazzling light show. He screamed, and this time, his friends did hear him.

"SPIKE!" exclaimed Twilight, rushing to help her friend. She knew, since she had gone through a portal into the human world, that she, Spike, and portals did not combine well together, so she had to go through and help her purple, dragon friend.

"Spike!" cries Twilight.

"Ugh!" grunted Rainbow Dash, trying to pull Twilight out of the portal.

"Rgh!" grunted Applejack, pulling on Rainbow Dash's tail.

"Eee!" exclaimed Fluttershy, hanging on to Applejack's torso.

"Ahhh!" screamed Rarity, as she was sucked into the Power Ponies comic book.

"Whee!" cheered Pinkie Pie as she bounced in, after her friends.

In the early morning, Masked Matter-Horn, Fili-Second, Mistress Mare-velous, Zapp, Radiance, and Saddle Rager decided to take part in the annual Superheroes Convention, something they had all been looking forward to all year. All the superheroes showed up, and talked, danced, and engorged them selves with food until they couldn't even take another step without throwing up. Everypony was talking and having fun, while Humdrum couldn't stop reading the most interesting comic (or so he thought it was the most interesting) in all of Maretropolis. Last night, Masked Matter-Horn had kept bothering Humdrum about reading the comic he had been into. All she knew about it was that it wasn't a real story, and it was a comic book. And Humdrum knew Masked Matter-Horn well enough to know that she was soon going to read every single book in Maretropolis, and his comic was no exception. So he'd decided to tell her once and for all.

"Come ooooon, Humdrum!" pleaded Masked Matter-Horn.

"Not right now, Masked Matter-Horn! I really gotta chat some z's, and now is just not the time," he said sleepily, throwing his blankets over his face so Masked Matter-Horn would stop disturbing him.

"Tell me, or I'll shoot some ice at you and turn you into an ice statue!" said Masked Matter-Horn, determined.

Humdrum didn't like being and ice statue. It had happened once before, and he regretted it, so he decided to stop being a couch potato and he took the comic book out of a stack of clothes, which were dirty.

"Let's make a deal. If I tell you what the story is about, can I get some shut-eye?" he asked, and Masked Matter-Horn instantly shook her head, answering Humdrum's question.

Humdrum's eyes started to shut, but he flipped to a specific page and turned it so Masked Matter-Horn was looking at it straight in the face, and she asked,

"Who is that character?"

Humdrum yawned.

"It's Nightmare Moon. She used to be a beautiful princess of the night, but, nothing in comparison to Radiance. So, anyways, this princess of the night had a sister named Celestia, who shined brighter than her. Literally. She was the princess of the sun, and daytime. Everypony adored Celestia's day, but payed no attention to the night. So there was this freakish betrayal," he flipped the page quickly. "And she turned evil!"

The comic book showed two mares, one raising the moon and the other raising the sun. Then, it showed the princess of the night crying as she saw nopony was playing during her night like they did during her sister's day. And on the page next to that, it showed her... transforming... into something black and dark. It looked pretty much like certain death.

"She's still alive," said Humdrum. He flipped the page once more. "Just went a tad over the line of evil,"

The next page showed her transformation complete. The creature there did not look like the lovely princess of the night. It had fangs, dark eyes, bat-like wings, and a coat as dark and black as the night sky. As she saw this, Masked Matter-Horn realized something else too,

"So the princess of the night is no more?" she said, nearly in a whisper. Humdrum nodded, but then shrugged, closing the comic book.

"But, there are these ponies. The Elements of Harmony. They have the spirit of friendship inside of them, and can defeat evil that way. Pretty awesome, huh?"

But Masked Matter-Horn didn't understand. Why didn't they just use their powers? It was quicker than friendship, something that was weak and useless. She pushed the thought aside, and watched Humdrum begin to snore, fast asleep.

The convention was fun. But even though Humdrum extremely wanted to read his comic book, which was getting better by the minute, he also wanted to hang out and chill with his best friends.

"Saddle Rager, is there anything I could help with?" he asked.

"I don't think so. I only have to finish signing these posters to protect animals, and I can handle it myself Humdrum. But I'm ever so grateful for you asking. Maybe Masked Matter-Horn needs your help?" she asked, a poster in her yellow hooves.

"Masked Matter-Horn need a hoof?"

"Oh, sorry Humdrum. I wasn't planning on doing anything I needed any help with. Why don't you go ahead and finish your comic book? Don't you want to find out what happens to the Elements of Harmony and Nightmare Spoon?" she said in a cheerful tone.

"It's Nightmare Moon," he muttered under his breath. He jogged over to Fili-Second, the completely pink mare, who was eating donuts at the speed of light.

"Fili-Second, need assistance?"

"Nopie dokie lokie!" she said, throwing a donut down at Humdrum, hitting him in the head. She kept muttering random things to herself, and Humdrum wondered what was going on in that mare's head.

"You okay, Mistress Mare-velous?" he asked as she walked around as if she was looking for something.

"Oh, Humdrum? Uh, nope. Ah was just lookin' for a vase ter bring mah little sis. She's too shy and nervous to cum 'ere 'erself, and she's not a superhero, so she wants me ter do it," said Mistress Mare-velous, still looking around the place.

"R-Ra-Radiance? Do you need help with anything?" he asked, feeling his heart begin to melt inside as the mare turned around to face him. Her eyes were so dazzling and blue...

"Humy Drumy, I'm afraid that I am now an independent mare, and everything today I will be doing myself," she said sorrily.

"How come?" he asked, following her down a corridor.

"Well, some stallions seem to think needing my sister and you to help me means I am... what is the word? Lazy. So, here I am, trying to be independent. Is it working?" she asked. Humdrum just shrugged, looking for Zapp.

"There you are, Zapp! Need help with what you're doing?" he asked the cyan mare. But she shook her head furiously at Humdrum.

"No. I'm just trying to pull a little prank up on Mistress Mare-velous," she said, trying to sneak towards Mistress Mare-velous. Zapp was doomed if Mistress Mare-velous saw her; doomed for trying to prank and scare her.

Sadly, Humdrum walked towards the common room, into a secret chamber Masked Matter-Horn and him had found a few weeks ago. Humdrum decided to plop down of a chair and finish reading his comic once and for all.

"I might as well finish this comic book. Everyone's treating me like Spike, and I really wanna see how it ends," he said, flipping to the last page of the book. He was extremely close to being done.

The page seemed to end too quickly for Humdrum's taste. There was barely any conversation between the characters, and mostly, the pictures were of Nightmare Moon. He was tired of seeing Nightmare Moon's face on every single page.

"Already done. Wow, that ending did not surprise me. Wait, what's this?"

Humdrum was looking at the edge of the last page in the comic book, which had been left white, without any writing. He had seen something tiny in the corner of it, written in a black, messy, inky handwriting.

"What does it say?" he asked himself, searching around the room for a magnifying glass to be able to read what the tiny, hard-to-read text said.

Meanwhile, Masked Matter-Horn had decided it was time to go back to their dwelling, and they had had a good convention, and were ready for next year, and it was quite enough, for herself and for her friends (especially Saddle Rager, who was quite shy about these things). She was about to leave, when she realized that Humdrum wasn't right behind her, like he usually always was, all the time. She then remembered that she had sent Humdrum away to read his comic.

"Humdrum, where are you?" asked Fili-Second, as she realized the same thing Masked Matter-Horn had.

"Humy? Wasn't he right behind us, girls?" asked Radiance, looking behind, just to make sure he wasn't there.

"Humdrum? Now, where are ya, ya little rascal?" called Mistress Mare-velous. And soon, the whole crowd was yelling Humdrum's name, as Humdrum, not hearing their calls, finally found a magnifying glass and had started to read the footnote.

But suddenly, he felt a tingling sensation going through his body, and a bright, blue flash of light emerged from the comic book, engulfing him with the brilliant, dazzling light show. He yelped, and this time, his friends sure did hear him.

"HUMDRUM!" exclaimed Masked Matter-Horn, rushing to help her friend. "A portal!? How did that happen!?" she screamed, feeling the jaw-dropping sensation of being dragged into the portal.

"Humdrum!" cries Masked Matter-Horn, feeling hooves on her body.

"Ugh!" grunted Zapp, trying to pull Masked Matter-Horn out of the portal, feeling somepony biting her tail with their teeth.

"Rgh!" grunted Mistress Mare-velous, pulling on Zapp's tail as hard as she could, feeling a tug coming from her torso area.

"Eee!" exclaimed Saddle Rager, hanging on to Mistress Mare-velous's torso, feeling somepony trying to hug her so she wouldn't be sucked in.

"Ahhh!" screamed Radiance, as she was sucked into the Elements of Harmony comic book.

"Whee!" cheered Fili-Second as she sped into the comic book so fast, that nopony was even sure it had happened.

Holy new personas ponies!

"My head!" Humdrum exclaimed to himself, his head feeling like his brain was being pulled out with a pair of tweezers. Or was it like it was turning into one of those voodoo shrunken heads? The world may never know.

"Where am I?" Humdrum asked himself, feeling... could it be? Pillows? He felt pillows under his body, making him feel light and undressed. Which he soon found out was exactly the case.

"I'm... NAKED!" screamed Humdrum, picking up an orange pillow, sticking his head through it, and wriggling down so it covered his body. The feathers made him sneeze.

Humdrum quickly glanced around the room. He was alone. Where were Fili-Second, Masked Matter-Horn, Saddle Rager, Mistress Mare-velous, Radiance, and Zapp? Would they be naked too? Humdrum shuddered at the thought, and stayed in the room, alone. He only had one thought on his mind, his sad, confused mind, which kept worrying and spinning with the sudden crash of his body on the pillows, and with pure worry.

"It's all my fault," said Humdrum, hugging a pillow tightly, until his claws dug into it and a puff of feathers fell on his legs, making him sneeze.

"Watermelon!" said Humdrum, preventing the thirteenth sneeze in a row. Suddenly, Humdrum felt a shaking sensation in the ground. He, at first, thought it was an earthquake, but quickly realized that it was just the portal reopening for his friends. It looked like a crocodile opening its mouth when the portal sprung open. It was sparkling, and providing so much light the Humdrum covered his eyes with his claws, and shivered in fear. Not in fear of his friends, but fear of the curse that had seemed to impend upon him, trapping him in this unknown room.

"Gah!"

"Whoa!"

"Ya!"

"Eeep!"

"Uh!"

"Ha!"

Humdrum's friends lay on the floor, one on top of the other, their legs twisted and manes messy. Masked Matter-Horn, under the whole body weight of her five friends, dug her way to the top (accidentally knocking over Radiance, getting an undignified protest). She tried to stand up, but her legs felt like jelly. They were weak, and her eyes felt all groggy and blurry. And the weirdest part was that she felt cold as ice, like she was trapped in her own ice statue. Shivering, Masked Matter-Horn tried to use her magic to make rays of light appear. Her horn glowed a brilliant magenta color, like her cutie mark- wait. Cutie mark? Masked Matter-Horn's cutie mark was never visible under her-

"My clothes!" screamed Masked Matter-Horn, diving into a pile of pillows quite like Humdrum had done, only showing her deep purple eyes. "I don't have any!"

"Uh, guys? I don't see my suit," said Fili-Second, ready to dash around to the corner of the room to inspect it. But as she tried to dash, she didn't rush there as fast as she usually did. In fact, not even close to the speed she usually was in. She wasn't even running. Fili-Second was bouncing to the corner, fast as a normal pony without any super-powers. "And I'm slow! That's- this- what's happening, girls!?" gasped Fili-Second, trying to sprint around the room, only bouncing an emitting a bouncing sound which she really disliked.

"My necklace! I can't control the weather anymore!" called Zapp, flying up high, extremely fast, but not a single cloud formed in the sky as she did. "But I am wicked fast," she said, spinning, engulfing herself in a rainbow-colored tornado.

"And Ah don't have mah lasso!" cried Mistress Mare-velous, patting herself, searching for it. "Is there some sorta secret compartment? Or is it under mah hat? It's not!" she hollered, throwing the hat at Saddle Rager.

"And I feel mad that we might just have upset the balance with the ponies and animals in Maretropolis, oh, those poor little animals, but I'm not transforming. Is that... supposed to happen?" Saddle Rager asked Radiance.

"Girls, I bet my power is working perfectly fine! Just watch," said Radiance, tapping her right hoof with her left one. Three seconds passed. Seven. Twelve. Twenty-four. Thirty.

"NOTHING'S HAPPENING!" screamed Radiance. "This is the worst. Possible. Thing. That could ever. Happen to me!" Radiance fainted, bouncing back up thanks to the pillows.

"And my clothes are gone!" said Humdrum, grabbing their attention.

"We noticed," they all said together, sounding like a choir.

The girls jabbed on and on about what was going on, and Humdrum just sat there, trying to find out what was going on. He retraced his steps. They had been at the convention. He had been sent to read his comic book. He'd gone looking for a magnifying glass. He'd found one. He read the footnote. Wait, comic book? Humdrum looked at his friends, all looking either angry or worried. Even though his friends weren't acting like them, he was pretty sure. No, he was 100% sure. Maybe even 200% sure. Okay, he was 200% sure. He was 200% sure his friends had been turned into the Elements of Harmony.

"Holy new personas ponies!" screamed Humdrum over all the noise of the crowd, making his friends shush rapidly. "You're not yourselves, that's for sure. But that's because you're all somepony else. Somepony who matches you best. Most exactly, the Element of Harmony that matches you best!"

"Huh?"

"My comic book! It was about the Elements of Harmony! Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity, if I'm correct. They're best friends who stop Nightmare Moon, Celestia's evil sister who had been imprisoned in the moon for over 1,000 years! Listen, if you guys are them, it means you have to defeat Nightmare Moon and turn her into Princess Luna!" exclaimed Humdrum, acting out as he went to see if it made what he was saying any clearer. It didn't. He tried again. "Okay, Saddle Rager, you're Fluttershy, the Element of Kindness. You love animals and live in a cottage near the Everfree Forest, along with your pet Angel Bunny,"

"You must have me mistaken with somepony else," said Saddle Rager. "I don't live near the Everfree Forest. I live in-"

"You don't get it! We were zapped into my comic book, and you all became the characters which inhabit it! What about you Zapp? You're Rainbow Dash, the Element of Loyalty. You want to join an elite flying team called the Wonderbolts, and have mastered the legendary Sonic Rainboom. And you, Masked Matter-Horn, you're Twilight Sparkle, or Twilight, the Element of Magic. You know more spells than any unicorn does! And, SPOILER ALERT, you turn into an alicorn princess. But anyways, you're the princess's special, star student!"

"Princess?" wondered Masked Matter-Horn out loud. "There are no princesses in Maretropolis!" Humdrum slapped his face.

"That's just it! We're not in Maretropolis! We're in the Everfree Forest, where the Castle of the Royal Pony Sisters was! We have to get to Ponyville, which is where you live," he said, making it sound urgent. Which it was.

"Who am Ah then?" asked Mistress Mare-velous, putting her hat back on as Saddle Rager passed it to her.

"You're Applejack, the Element of Honesty. You're an apple-bucker, as it states in your name, and you live with your brother, sister, and granny in Sweet Apple Acres, along with a million family members all over Equestria," said Humdrum, making his best effort to get the facts right.

"Equestria? What's that?" asked Mistress Mare-velous.

"It's where we are," said Humdrum.

"I thought you said we were in Ponyville,"

"We're in Ponyville which is in Equestria,"

There was a prolonged pause.

"Oh,"

"I am just wondering, Humy Drumy, who am I in this... Equestria, is it?" asked Radiance, embracing Humdrum in an extremely tight hug.

"You're Rarity, a fashionista-"

"FASHIONISTA!? I like this already," she said, rubbing Humdrum against her body by mistake. Humdrum sighed, taking in the sweet smell of Radiance which he wouldn't mind smelling all day.

"Ooooh! Who am I!? Who am I!? Who am I!?" asked Fili-Second impatiently, knocking Humdrum over and out of Radiance's crushing embrace.

"You are Pinkie Pie, Element of Laughter,"

This just made Fili-Second crack up.

"Told you so," mumbled Humdrum.

"But Ah don't understand," said Mistress Mare-velous. "What's goin' on with this Nightmare Boom, and why do we need ter stop 'er?"

Humdrum wasn't sure how to explain the situation. He could tell them the whole story, which would just confuse them more. But summarizing it would too. He finally said,

"We're in the land of Equestria, where two alicorn pony sisters raise the sun and the moon every single day and night," started Humdrum. Fili-Second raised her hoof, waving it frantically to catch Humdrum's attention.

"Yes? Fili-Second?" he said in a bored tone.

"How do you raise the sun? I wanna do it!" Fili-Second held her breath. "Ngh! NNNNNNNNGH!" her face started turning red, and Humdrum thought she looked quite constipated.

"You need a horn. And a lot of strength. No common pony can do it," he said.

"Ohhhhh! That makes sense. My face hurts," said Fili-Second, rubbing it with her right hoof, as it returned to it's usual bright pink hue.

"Anyway, one of these sisters turn evil, and says that she'll never let her sister raise the sun, and keep the moon up for all eternity. She turns into a monster, yatta yatta, and then her sister and herself have this big fight, where Celestia, the good one, nearly dies. And she doesn't want to die, so she uses these mysterious Elements of Harmony on her sister Luna, trapping her in the moon for 1,000 years. Understand? Was that too quick?" asked Humdrum, watching Fili-Second's hoof back up in the air, beginning to wave and catch his eye.

"Fili-Second?"

"What are these mysterious Elements?" she said, shuddering as she said those last two words.

"I told you, each of you represent one. But I'm not up till that part yet! Let me finish!" said Humdrum, putting down Fili-Second's hoof as she decided to raise it up high again.

"THEN CONTINUE!" said Fili-Second.

"Okay, okay! So, 1,000 years later, on the Summer Sun Celebrat- What is it, Fili-Second?"

"Where's the bathroom?"

"Anyway," continued Humdrum, ignoring Fili-Second's question. "She's released 1,000 years later, and the only pony who knows this is Twilight Sparkle, that's you Masked Matter-Horn. And so, the princess who wasn't sent to the moon, Celestia, tells her to go to Ponyville and make friends. Those are the rest of you. And she embarks on this quest to find this castle we're standing in right now, which is where Nightmare Moon, the evil one, is, and to try and stop her. And while she does, she realizes that you guys are the Elements of Harmony, and that she's the unknown Element, and the Elements of Harmony appear, and you end up saving the day and all of Ponyville. Clear?"

"Okay, I'll be right back!" said Fili-Second, looking for 'She's released 1,000 years later, and the only pony who knows this is Twilight Sparkle, that's you Masked Matter-Horn. "What are we gonna do?" asked Zapp a few minutes later, when Fili-Second returned.

"Well, first of all, you might as well act as the ponies you are! If anypony recognizes that it isn't you, you could be in serious trouble, and'll get defeated for not being the real Elements of Harmony. And then-"

Humdrum stopped dead in his tracks.

"Humdrum? What is it?" asked Masked Matter-Horn.

"No! No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO MARETROPOLIS, NOW!" screamed Humdrum.

"We can't! There seems to be some sort of spell upon us, and we can't go back!" said Masked Matter-Horn.

"But we need to go back! Now!" He complained.

"Why in such a rush?" asked Saddle Rager.

"Because I just realized something," he said. His friends instantly gathered around him, waiting for the upcoming news.

"If you're the Elements of Harmony, and they defeated Nightmare Moon, but it seems that that hasn't happened yet... It means *gulp*," his forehead became flushed with sweat.

"It means that, now, you have to defeat Nightmare Moon,"

"So?" asked Zapp.

"So!? You're not the real Elements of Harmony! You don't know anything about them! Masked Matter-Horn is Twilight, the Element of Magic, and she can't even preform a spell to make light appear out of her horn. Mistress Mare-velous, you've lied countless times in order to defeat villains, and you're supposed to be the Element of Honesty! You guys don't represent them correctly! You guys simply aren't them!"

"Again, SO!?" said Zapp.

"If you have to defeat Nightmare Moon by being the spirits of the Elements of Harmony, and you aren't, it means that you can't, won't, defeat Nightmare Moon,"

"SO!?!" asked Zapp, irritated.

"The night will last forever..." said Humdrum, burying his face in his claws, feeling his eyes to begin filling with tears.

"We'll help. We won't let it happen. We can do it," said Masked Matter-Horn to her friends.

"We can't ruin the reputations of the ponies we're... roleplaying. We have to act as much as possible like them, and when the time comes, stop this evil Nightmare Moon. She seems pretty evil," said Radiance.

"So, we might as well start with names. Humdrum, what are our names? We can't accidentally call ourselves by our real names, can we?" asked Masked Matter-Horn. "It would ruin a lot of things, and just complicate our already complicated lives,"

"Pinkie Pie," he pointed at Fili-Second, who jumped with glee.

"Rainbow Dash," he pointed at Zapp, who spun in the air.

"Applejack," he pointed at Mistress Mare-velous, who crossed her legs.

"Fluttershy," he pointed at Saddle Rager, who ducked for no reason.

"Rarity," he said, pointing at Radiance, who flipped her mane and fluttered her eyelashes.

"And, Twilight Sparkle," he pointed at Masked Matter-Horn, who nodded.

"You're the Elements of Harmony," he paused for dramatic effect.

"Saviors of Equestria,"

"What's Equestria again?" Fili-Second's voice whispered to Saddle Rager, who shrugged.
