Be very careful if you make a woman cry.

Because god counts her tears.

God made woman from the rib of man.

Not his fist to be struck.

Not from his foot to be stepped on.

But from his rib.

From his side to be equal.

Under his arm to be protected.

And next to his heart to be loved.

Sweetie Belle looked up at her princess Luna clock with a scrunched up face. She looked back down at the magazine between her forelegs as she laid on her pink floral bed spread. She leafed through the pages quickly, mostly to illustrate her growing agitation.

"He's gonna get it. He's really gonna get it!" She growled inside her head. She swished her tail, feeling silly that she had gone through so much trouble styling and grooming it for that idiot. Honestly, she didn't even know why she bothered with the big lug.

But she knew exactly why she bothered.

The day he confessed to her, he got down on a knee like he was proposing, clutching a mangled bouquet of wild flowers as he asked in a cracking, stuttering voice for the "honor of taking her to dinner".

Sweetie giggled in her feminine voice at the memory of that day. She glanced to the framed picture on her desk of herself and him together, her cheeks feeling warm. She got her first kiss the day that picture was taken.

The loud sound of the front door of her house opening and closing took Sweetie out of her sweet memories. The door closing was followed by the sound of scaly feet pattering on the steps up to her room.

Sweetie quickly checked her mane in her vanity mirror. She crossed her forehooves and dawned an unapproving face as the form of a stallion sized purple dragon entered through her bedroom door, panting and wheezing as he tried to catch his breath.

"You're five minutes late…again," she deadpanned to the out of breath dragon.

Spike looked up at the teen mare who was giving him a cold glare.

"I'm…so sorry…Sweetie," he said between gasps.

"Uh huh, and what's your excuse this time?" She asked, flipping her mane with a hoof.

"Well, uh, Rarity had a new dress she needed finished before noon. I…I'm sorry."

Sweetie turned her head to the side with a 'humph!', her curly mane bouncing with her movement.

"I see. I guess that you would rather spend time with my sister than your own girlfriend, huh?"

Spike scratched his chin, looking pathetic.

"That's not it."

"You prefer being with her than me, is that it?" Sweetie asked accusingly.

"No I don't. I told you, I don't have feelings for her anymore. She's my friend," Spike tried to explain.

"But you did love her for like…seven years! Are you saying you don't still have some feelings?"

Spike scratched his chin again, taking too long to answer.

"Ah! You do, don't you!?" Sweetie asked, her voice sounding on the verge of tears.

"No! Absolutely not!" Spike cut in.

He got on his knees before Sweetie's bed, taking her pristine white hoof in his sweaty claw and holding it.

"Did I confess to Rarity?"

"…No," Sweetie replied.

"Did I steal a kiss from Rarity?"

"Not that I know of," Sweetie undercut, shooting him another icy glare.

"I didn't. I did all those things with you because I love you, Sweetie."

Sweetie Bell tried to fight back the glow threatening to overcome her cheeks. She had also heard from other girls how their boyfriends wouldn't say that they loved them, but Spike was so much more mature. He never hesitated to tell her his affections.

"You're my marefriend. And I would never hurt you like that."

As hard as she tried, she couldn't stop the little smile from forming on her face.

"Ooooooooooh! Dam him! He always knows how to push all my right buttons!"

Sweetie tilted her head.

"You promise?"

Spike made a cross gesture over his heart.

"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye."

Sweetie let her angry demeanor melt away as she looked deeply into his emerald eyes. She noticed her own eyes slide closed as she leaned toward him, her soft lips meeting his warm, scaly ones.

And just like that, Sweetie couldn't remember why she was mad at him in the first place. He reeked of sweat, but to Sweetie it was like perfume. She opened her mouth, telling him it was ok to really have her. She felt his long, slick forked tongue invade her mouth, immediately exploring every cavity and nook in her welcoming muzzle.

He coiled his long, thin tongue around her own organ, pulling on it and stroking it like a tongue hug. Sweetie goaded him by making soft moans into his mouth, gently using her tongue to stroke his long pointed fangs, feeling a delightful twinge under her tail. Spike put his big claws on her shoulders, using his strength to push her onto her back as he moved atop her.

Sweetie let him control her. She wanted to feel his weight atop her, his heat mixing with her own, but instead he preferred to lay next to her, stroking her mane with his strong claws. She placed a hoof gently to his chest, her heart racing at the sensation of touching his hard muscles and smooth scales. Spike let his left claw trail down her soft chest, eliciting a little squeak from Sweetie.

Since reaching puberty, Sweetie's body had taken on the shapely form of a mare, but with the benefit of being smaller than a mare. Spike followed his male instincts as his hand glided over her lovely coat to the objects of his desire just under her firm, warm belly.

Sweetie felt scared yet excited at the same time. Her and spike had made out plenty of times, but she always stopped him when he got close to feeling her up too much. She had been thinking lately that she was being too cruel to him.

Whenever she said "no" or "stop", he did without any questions. She had heard from girls at school how their boyfriends would ignore their objections or pretend like they didn't hear when they said stop, but Spike was a perfect gentledrake. He was always sensitive to her wants and what made her uncomfortable. He was the best boyfriend she could ask for, yet she hadn't given him any of her goods.

Spike's claw stopped just shy of her belly, knowing that she wouldn't like him going too far. Suddenly, he felt her dainty hoof touch his claw, and to his surprise, start pushing it down.

Spike had the idea to stop kissing her and ask if she was sure about this.

"Don't be stupid, Spike! She's giving you the green light. Stop being such a filly and dragon up!"

So, he let her guide him to her treasures. He felt her perky buds on his claw, but she didn't stop there. She guided him further down till his claw was hovering just over her warm flower.

In shock, he opened his eyes, getting caught by her matching green ones. They gazed at each other, Sweetie's eyes telling Spike that it was ok. He used his tongue to squeeze hers as he made contact with her blossoming marehood.

He gently rubbed the soft, warm mound, drawing sharp gasps of air from Sweetie.

His middle claw trailed up the middle, poising itself just at her entrance. He withdrew his tongue from her mouth, and Sweetie released a feminine sigh just as his claw started slipping inside.

"Sweetie! I got the stain out of your socks. But I couldn't-"

Both Spike and Sweetie scrambled to sit up just as Pearl walked into the room, a basket of laundry on her back.

Pearl blushed and smiled wickedly as she took in the sight of her baby girl in bed with her boyfriend.

"Oh my. I'm not "interrupting" anything, am I?" She asked, bringing a hoof to her chin as she smiled.

"MOM! Get out of my room!" Sweetie blurted, her face ablaze from a mix of embarrassment and left over arousal.

Pearl giggled like a school girl as she turned and started leaving the room.

"You kids have fun now," she teased as she closed the door behind her. Sweetie and Spike sat in awkward silence, the only sound to be heard was the ticking of Sweetie's Luna clock.

"So, uh…dose that make the cut for most embarrassing moment in your life or what? Cuz it sure wins the vote for me…heh heh…"

Sweetie dead paned at him, giving the back of his head a light smack. The instant that she was sure that they were alone, and that her mom wasn't listening at the door, she wanted to continue where they left off.

She was about to tackle her dragon boyfriend, when Spike Jumped off the bed and started stretching his back.

"So, uh, wanna go for a walk?" He asked, completely oblivious to his girlfriends burning desire.

Sweetie Bell turned her head to the side with another "humph!", to Spike's great guy confusion.

"Don't think you're off the hook so easily," she stated in a scolding tone.

"You still owe me for being late. Ya know a lot of boys would give their left hoof to take me out, yet I spend seventy two percent of my time getting stood up by you."

Spike seemed to shrink two sizes. He had done wrong by being late again.

"Anything! Just name it and it's yours!" He stated, dropping to his knees.

Sweetie giggled, walking sexily over to where he kneeled. She put a hoof under his jaw and began tracing it over his jaw line to caress his face, all while giving him a sweet, loving smile.

"You're going to take me to lunch, and not that noodle hut you love so much. A nice restaurant. Aaaaaand…you're not going to be late again. I don't care what Rarity has you doing. When it's time to see me, you better drop what you're doing and come running into my hooves."

Spike nodded emphatically at her demands, feeling relieved that she was forgiving him. Sweetie closed her eyes and planted a gentle kiss on his mouth.

"You're my dragon now, not Rarity's. And I'm your pony, understand?"

Spike answered by standing fast and picking Sweetie up in a tender hug, to which Sweetie almost melted. She loved being in his big strong arms, despite their lumpy appearance. Spike could easily pick her up like she was a piece of straw, and she always melted into his embrace.

She put her hoof in Spike's claw as the two started walking to leave Sweetie's house. It was difficult for Sweetie to get used to walking with only three legs, but she made the sacrifice so that she could be connected with him. In truth, she couldn't really be mad at Spike for not leaving Rarity till the job was done. Spike was hard working and loyal. It was one of the manny things she loved about him.

It was Rarity who really got on her nerves. She knew that her and Spike had a date today, so their was no reason that she would keep him. In her teen induced jealousy, she wondered if Rarity had some sort of personal motive.

A grey teen earth pony watched from around a corner as a stallion sized dragon and a white unicorn stepped out into the sunlight. She pushed her designer glasses up to the bridge of her muzzle, scowling at the pony she hated most.

Over the years she had kept her jealousy in check, despite all the ways her enemy was so much better than her.

She had both a father and a mother. She had an incredible sister. And off all that wasn't bad enough, she was loved by all who knew her, and now she had a boyfriend.

The grey earth pony growled, kicking a wooden crate out of anger. She swore that she would find some way to take her down a peg and make her cry. She scanned the dragon up and down, an evil grin forming.

And she knew just where to start.

Lunch.

Sweetie Belle sighed happily as she leaned back in her chair after enjoying a four star meal at one of Ponyville's best fancy restaurants.

"I have to admit, it wasn't as great as noodles, but it sure was good. Did you like it, Sweetie?" Spike asked, finishing up his own meal.

Sweetie smiled like a happy cat after eating a pound of fresh salmon.

"It was sooooooo……," she drifted off as a wave of contentment washed over her.

Spike only smiled and laughed softly.

"Your bill, sir," the waiter said in a snobbish tone as he dropped the check in front of Spike.

Spike looked the piece of paper over once and had a minor heart palpitation. Sweetie took notice of his state and looked to him with a bit of regret. Had she overstepped this time? And, would he get mad if she had? She waited, scanning his reactions.

"Well, now I know why the prices weren't listed," he chuckled, breathing a wisp of fire and producing a modest sized bag of bits.

"I-I can help you pay for it, Spike," she spoke up.

"Nah, one of the perks of working as a princess's assistant is that ya get a decent allowance," he explained with a smile.

Sweetie rested her head on her fore hooves, staring at him like he was the greatest ever. Rarity had missed out on snagging Spike when she had the chance, and not because he had some bits to throw around.

Guys like Spike were few and far between. He was caring, sincere, genuine, and he always put Sweetie first, for the most part.

"I really don't mind. At least let me pay for my half," she offered, but Spike just waved a claw in the air, flashing her a determined stare.

"Sweetie, I'm the guy, and the guy always pays," he stated matter-o-factly.

Sweetie was touched, but his words sank in and hit a nerve within Sweetie.

"Is that so? Are you saying that because I'm a girl, that I make less than you and there for can't pay for lunch?" She asked like a courtroom prosecutor.

"No no, that's not it. It's uh, just that…somepony told me that it wasn't proper for the guy not to pay."

Sweetie had a very good idea of who told him that. Sometimes Spike could be to good for his own good, so, Sweetie had to take it upon herself from time to time to make sure he didn't go too far in his "boyfriend dragon code", which he made sure to tell her about regularly.

"Besides, I owed you, remember?"

Sweetie felt her heart flutter. She smiled at the dragon, extending one of her hind hooves under the table and using it to rub one of his stubby legs. Spike perked up at the gentle sensation of her hoof tickling his leg. He blushed such a shade of red that one might think that he just got out of a lava pit, a sight that made Sweetie squee internally.

He was so cute when she teased him in public. Spike was easily flustered, to Sweetie's great glee. Many times she enjoyed batting at him with her tail, turning her head over her shoulder to shoot him a sexy glance. Every time he rewarded her by blushing and sweating like he had just seen a horde of gems.

Playing hoofsey under the table probably wouldn't excite someone else as much as it excited Spike, which is what she enjoyed most about teasing him.

"Eh-hem! Will you and madam be staying for another course, sir?"

Spike sputtered like he was choking as the waiter broke him from his under table distraction. He looked to the pony in the suit and bow tie, smirking to the big snob.

"Not at these prices," he said sarcastically. He got up and extended his claw to Sweetie.

"Come, my dear. Let us adjourn to more polite settings," he said to Sweetie in a mock snooty tone.

Sweetie giggled, putting her hoof in his claw and rising from her seat daintily.

"Why that sounds lovely, my good gentledrake," she replied with the same tone.

The waited rolled his eyes as he watched the couple laugh while leaving the restaurant. Sweetie's laughter was ended not long after leaving and stepping out into Ponyville. Ponies out and about would stop and look at them like they were watching a hydra walk by.

Now, everypony in town knew Spike, or at the very least were familiar of him, but seeing him with a teen mare raised some suspicions. Sweetie had heard what some of them said when they thought no one was listening.

Spreading rumors that he was only with her because he was planning to eat her. Now, to be fair, Sweetie did plan to be "eaten" by Spike in the future, but not in the same way as everypony was thinking.

Sweetie swished her tail, blushing and giggling softly at the naughty idea.

"You ok, Sweetie? Your face is red, you feeling alright?"

Sweetie looked up at Spike's concerned face. She closed her eyes and nuzzled into the crook of his arm, wrapping her forelegs around his scaly arm, she wanted to she everypony how much she loved him, while Spike smiled bashfully.

"I am just fine, my wonderful Spikles."

Spike was about to feel more embarrassed, when something bumped into his stomach, stoping both him and Sweetie in their tracks. Spike looked down to see a grey teen mare adjusting her glasses after her run in with the larger dragon.

"Oh, excuse me, uh, Silver Spoon?"

Sweetie perked up at the sight of her classmate.

"Oh, excuse me you two, new glasses, still getting use to them." She explained. Sweetie Bell cheered like a filly, throwing her hooves around the earth pony.

Silver Spoon cringed on the inside, but kept herself from gagging. Spike could see that Sweetie was excited to see Silver Spoon, he just didn't know why. Back in the day, Sweetie and the other crusaders couldn't stand her and Diamond Tiara.

Things change, he thought to himself.

"It's so nice to see you, Silver. What brings you out today?" Sweetie asked cheerfully.

Silver Spoon stepped away from her nemesis, flipping her mane and fluttering her lashes at the tall dragon.

"Actually, I came to talk to you Mr. ……..um."

Spike frowned.

"Spike…remember?"

Silver Spoon tilted her head in confusion. Sure they hadn't officially met before, but surly she knew who he was.

"Uh, huh. Spike, I have a proposition for you, if you're interested."

Spike scratched his stomach, looking to Sweetie, who was smiling as she sat next to him.

"Um, ok, what is it?"

Silver Spoon raised a fore hoof giving him a sultry look over the top of her glasses.

"Well, you see, my mother needs some repairs made to the roof of our guest mansion, and I was wondering if you might like to take the job."

Spike listened to her request, feeling a little confused and awkward. First off, they have a mansion for guests? Secondly, why would she choose him and not some big contractor? If they were rich, then they could surly afford such a small job.

"Can I ask why me?"

Silver Spoon had to think quick for an excuse. She had to get him over to her house for her plan to start.

"Well, uhhhh, it's your claws! Ya! Surly the job would be easy for you having those claws instead of hooves, right?"

Spike couldn't deny that fact. Rarity saw him as an asset because of his ability to grab and hold without magic. He was about to say something else, when Sweetie Bell stepped between him and Silver Spoon.

"Absolutely not!" She cut in.

Silver Spoon cursed internally, seeing her plan start falling to ruin. Sweetie turned and looked to spike with genuine worry.

"I can't stand the idea of him possibly falling and getting hurt," she stated, nuzzling against his stomach.

"Just thinking about it makes me sick with worry."

Silver Spoon gaged internally at the sappy affections. Luckily, she knew something that would change his mind.

"My mother is willing to pay handsomely, you know."

Spike did perk up, but not at the prospect of money for himself. He took notice of how happy Sweetie had looked after having dinner at a nice place. He conjured ideas of taking her to a show tunes show or whatever. Maybe he could even buy her a nice piece of jewelry. Since they had started dating, he hadn't given Sweetie anything as nice as the fire ruby he had given to Rarity years earlier.

He swooned mentally at the dreamy sight of Sweetie wearing a beautiful diamond necklace. Diamonds always made her sparkle even brighter. He put his claw on Sweetie's shoulder, drawing her attention.

"I'll be ok, Sweetie. It's not like I haven't been in greater danger before, and, to be honest, a little extra money wouldn't hurt."

Sweetie frowned inwardly. She had the nagging feeling that she had a hoof in his need for extra cash, and now he was going to be at risk because of her. She remembered something her mom had told her.

"Stallions will do what they will, regardless of the worries that their marefriends have."

Sweetie didn't want to stand in the way of what he felt he had to do.

"Well…alright. But you have to promise me you'll be careful, ok?"

Spike gave her her favorite goofy grin, causing most of her worry to vanish.

"No worries, I'm not your average dragon after all."

Silver Spoon chuckled on the inside. Once she had the big oaf alone at her house, it would be quick work for her to seduce him, and then she would bath in Sweetie Bell's tears.

"Wonderful! Be at my house the day after tomorrow at noon."

"Should I bring any tools?" He asked her.

"Tools? Oh! No, don't worry about those. Just don't be late," she warned.

"I'll be there, scaly tailed and bright eyed," Spike said cheerfully.

"Ya ya, whatever," Silver Spoon said as she rolled her eyes and started walking away.

Spike walked Sweetie back home. The two stood at the entry, Sweetie waiting eagerly for her good bye kiss.

"I had a wonderful time today," she purred to Spike.

"I did too, can I stop by before that job at Silver's?"

"You better come by and see me. M-maybe I could make you some lunch?" She asked, feeling nervous.

"I'd love that," he beamed, to Sweetie's joy.

"Ok, I'll have it ready when you get here."

A moment of silence fell into place, until Sweetie motioned for him to come closer with a hoof.

Spike placed his claws on her shoulders, feeling fuzzy on the inside when she shifted a little in his grasp. She felt so small to him sometimes, yet he found great strength from her.

Their eyes closed as their lips met. Sweetie tasted like sweet cherries, while to Sweetie, Spike tasted of gems and his slightly sour sweat. Her right hind leg lifted of its own accord as she leaned into his kiss. Spike ran his claws through her silken mane, revealing in the softness of it between his claws.

There wasn't any tongue, they both just enjoyed the feeling of gently kissing one another.

Spike broke the kiss. Despite it not being a Prench kiss, there was still a small trail of saliva from Sweetie's mouth watering.

"I love you, Sweetie Bell," he whispered softly to her, gazing into her glossy eyes.

Sweetie always swooned when he said those three words like like while looking right at her. It was almost like Spike had magically placed butterflies into her tummy.

"I-I love you too, Spikey," she replied, feeling embarrassed from the glow that was evident on her cheeks.

Sweetie turned to go inside, swaying her flanks and giving him a sultry glance over her shoulder.

Spike now lay on his bed in his room back at the Castle of Friendship. He felt a stirring in his loins, grateful that he had his own room now. He closed his eyes and grasped his dragon hood. In the past, the object of his lust was primarily aimed at Rarity, but now when he closed his eyes all he saw was Sweetie.

The teen mare and all her curves and giggles, and glances, and kisses. The smallness of her soft tongue, and the little sounds she made when he kissed her just right. Now he had something new to think about when he was alone. He had almost rounded second base. His claw just barely entered her sweet flower.
He brought the claw to his nose, and soon after into his mouth.

He envisioned Sweetie in his mind, laying on his bed and begging for him to have her.

Sweetie plopped down on her bed and started rolling left and right, filled to the brim with joy after her date with her dragon boyfriend. She laid on her back looking to the box she kept that was full of all the little things he had given her since they started dating.

Inside was a heart made out of clay and painted red. She also had a necklace made from colored macaroni, a stack of cheesy poems he wrote for her, and a candle that sat atop a cup cake he gave her on her birthday two months ago. All priceless treasures to Sweetie.

Without thinking, she grabbed a pillow and placed it between her hind legs, sighing gently from the stimulation.

"Spike~!" She gasped.

In The Sand

Sweetie limped to her bathroom, her coat glistening with sweat from her vigorous "work out". It was no doubt satisfying, but she was shocked that she did it for so long.

"Is it normal for girls to do that for so long?" She asked herself, grabbing a wad of tissue with her magic and wiping the sweat from her brow and face. After dropping the tissues in the trash, she turned on the hot water in her shower and stepped in.

The hot water felt magical as it matted her mane and ran down the sides of her body. She started humming a song, throwing in lyrics here and there.
After letting herself soak for a while, she turned to get her shampoo. But as soon as she turned to the bottle, she paused.

The bottle was red, and the top of it was curved and rounded, conjuring up ideas of a certain part of the male anatomy. She gulped, leaning down with a flushed face to get a better look at the now naughty shaped bottle. It had to be close to ten inches long and maybe two inches thick or three.

"I wonder if Spike's…."

Out of curiosity, she levitated it to her face, closing her eyes and letting it rub up her cheek. She stopped, opening her eyes and catching the ridiculous sight of herself in the mirror, molesting a shampoo bottle.

"SIGH, I think that I need to talk with the girls," she admitted, defeatedly.

Since the manifestation of 'The Castle of Friendship', Ponyville had seen a rise in population. It luckily still maintained its small town charm, but now had attributes of a bigger town.

One of which was the building of Ponyville high. Princesses Celestia and Luna decided (with a strong insistence from princess Twilight) that Equestria was entering a new age, and that meant that more attention was to be given to the kingdoms infrastructure. In the past, indoor plumbing was rare to be found in the more distant parts of the land, such as Dodge Juncture and Appaloosa, but now even they had running water and the like.

In the case of education, fillies and colts would only be taught till the end of the seventh grade, when they would go off to find their true calling. Today, it is the law that a young pony attend school at least until the age of sixteen (should they choose to drop out).

Ponyville's new high school wasn't the biggest, but it was enough.

It was lunchtime, and Sweetie Belle found herself sitting between Apple Bloom and Scootaloo. Two of the teen mares were laughing as they talked about their day and other girl stuff, while Sweetie sat a bit fidgety, not sure how to broach the subject that was on her mind.

"So then, Mayflower looked up, just as the ball slammed into her face! It was so sudde-"

"So, uh…Is it normal to think about jumping your boyfriend often?" Sweetie interrupted, unable to wait any longer.

And just like that, the happy laughter and talking stopped, and the courtyard seemed like the middle of a forest.

"Is this about Spike again?" Scootaloo asked, sounding a bit exasperated.

"Ya didn't go off on another Rarity rant, did ya?" Apple Bloom asked, placing her hoof on Sweetie's shoulder with a concerned look.

"Well, yes, but that isn't what I wanted to talk to you guys about."

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo looked dryly at one another, as if linked mentally.

"Seriously, Sweetie Belle, again? You have to be one of the pickiest unicorns I know," Apple Bloom confessed.

"Yeah, ya need to stop obsessing about all that little stuff and just be happy that you have a boyfriend," Scootaloo added.

"Little stuff?" Sweetie asked with a hint of anger and irritation aimed at Scootaloo.

"Do you have any idea what it's like to have feelings for someone for so long but they only have feelings for your big sister!?"

"Well, uh, I…"

"And even after we started going out, how am I not supposed to wonder, is he only with me because he couldn't get Rarity, am I only second best?"

"SWEETIE!" Apple Bloom hollered. She had learned that it was the only way to get Sweetie Belle out from one of her "rants". The teenage unicorn looked to her pegasus friend, feeling bad that she had snapped at her.

"I'm sorry, Scootaloo."

Scootaloo just waved it off with the tip of her wing.

"Don't sweat it. If I had a bit for every time you flew off the handle from the mention of Rarity……I'd be princess Celestia."

A moment of silence…then the three started laughing in unison.

"Alright, all joking aside, what's this problem yer having?" Apple bloom asked, getting back to the topic at hoof.

Sweetie fidgeted a bit.

"Well…I don't know! I think that I'm going crazy. I mean, we make out and stuff, and it's so amazing, the things he can do with his tongue is just so-"

"We don't need details, Sweetie," Apple Bloom stated before Sweetie went any further.

"Sorry…He's been so patient with me, what with my occasional freak outs about his past crush on Rarity. I just worry that if I go further with him that he might…not want me anymore."

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo traded looks again before they both said in unison.

"Do him."

Sweetie's face turned redder than a tomato.

"Sweetie Belle, we're not tellin ya ta gallop into something you're not ready for, but we aint talkin about some horn dog stallion, it's just Spike," Apple Bloom explained.

"Yeah! I mean, you love him and junk, right?" Scootaloo asked, giving Sweetie a light slap on the back.

"O-of course I do, but what if-"

"He said that he didn't have feelins for Rarity any more, didn't he?" Apple Bloom asked, giving her a nudge.

"He did, he says that every time I get crazy…but-"

"No buts, missy. Trust us, you go all the way with Spike, and the only problem you'll have is keeping him from jumping you every minute of every day. Oh! and you'll probably get more of those corn ball poems from the big sap."

Sweetie blushed again, but this time with a smile. She threw out her fore legs and wrapped her friends in a big girly hug, to which Scootaloo groaned, but submitted to the girly affections. Sweetie knew that he friends would have the answers she needed. She probably might not go as far as to…with spike, but she felt a hundred times better after talking with them.

Silver Spoon sat in the classroom eating her lunch alone, like every day. Diamond Tiara had moved to Canterlot with her father after grade school, leaving Silver to learn that she had no other friends. Silver realized too late that she had burned any potential friendships she could have had. She looked out the window at Sweetie Belle as she ate lunch with the other two former crusaders. She scowled at the beautiful unicorn as she laughed and enjoyed her time with friends. To Silver, it almost seemed like she was laughing at her, but she would soon see those happy laughs turn to tears, once she had that big dumb oaf wrapped around her hoof.

Spike was going to wait till Sweetie got out of school, but he was just too excited. He had seen a thunder storm last night, and he just had to have her with him where he was going.

Spike didn't have anything against the school, but the place always made him feel…kinda sad. Sweetie had lectured him about how he should be in school for his education and what not. What she really wanted was for them to attend school together, but Spike didn't need to go to school.

Living with Twilight all his life meant that he had the equivalent of a high school education since he was eleven. Deep down, he did have a desire to go to school with his girlfriend, but he really didn't want to go through the awkward, 'only dragon in school' thing.

The bell rang, and Spike smiled as he started entering the gates.

He looked up and down the halls at the guys and girls as they went about their after school stuff. He spotted a flash of orange and purple down the hall, telling him that he would find Scootaloo around the corner.

He spotted the speedy pegasus standing with Apple Bloom.

"Hey, A.B., Scootaloo!" He called to his girlfriend's friends.

The teenage mares looked up at the purple dragon with excitement.

"Spike!" They both called together.

"Scootles, how's the air ball team going?" Spike asked the pegasus, to which Scootaloo puffed out her chest proudly.

"I'm only two game wins away from being captain, thank you very much."

Spike gave her a hoof bump as they both cheered "YEAH!".

"Apple Bloom, how is the Future Farmers of Equestria club going?"

Apple Bloom chuckled quickly, before resuming a straight face.

"It's, uh…..boring, ta be honest, but ah am learning a lot of new stuff ta help out around the farm, what with Apple Jack getting ready to pop and all."

Spike had almost forgotten that A.J. had a bun in the oven and that Apple Bloom was about to be an aunt.

"Twilight says that she's doin well, aunty Apple Bloom," he stated in a teasing way to the yellow earth pony.

Apple Bloom blushed before shooting Spike a warning glare.

"So, what brings you by, mister I don't have to go to school? Looking for your girlfriend maybe?" Scootaloo asked, giving him a jab in the gut.

"I am actually. Have you guys seen Sweetie?"

"She's doin a practice solo in the choir room. We were about ta go watch, wanna come along?"

Spike looked to Apple Bloom with great excitement. Sweetie had the voice of an angel, yet she had yet to let Spike hear her sing. So it went without saying that he was gung ho to witness it.

The choir room was large, with its own stage and auditorium seating. It was dimly lit inside as the three friends entered and found seats in the back so that they wouldn't be noticed.

Spike could see Sweetie on stage, illuminated like a star from the overhead lights as they made her white coat shine. She was speaking with an older grey stallion, who Spike assumed was the teacher. He drummed his claws on the seat in front of him, hopping he hadn't missed her singing.

The teacher left Sweetie alone on stage. She stretched her neck and cleared her throat as she waited for the music to start.

Spike heard a cello start playing, and he knew the name of the song. He had heard Octavia play it once, but with no singing. It was called "Ave Maria", and Spike listened intently for her to start.

The second she started, he was frozen in his seat at the sound of heaven that flowed dreamily from within her. It was like listening to a foal's heart beat, and so soothing that Spike thought he was melting.

In one magical moment, he felt as though he were flying, and he imagined a blue sky with white clouds dotting an endless horizon.

It seemed to end as soon as it began, and the room reverberated with the echo of her glorious voice. Spike only stared with a slightly opened mouth, before he couldn't hold back his joy any longer. He rose to his feet, clapping and cheering like a goof.

"All right Sweetie! That was so awesome!"

Apple Bloom and Scootaloo joined in as well, but with a little less excitement than their dragon compatriot.

Sweetie Belle spotted the cheering trio, a crimson blush covering her face.

"Spike!? W-what are you doing here!?" She asked, stumbling as she spoke. The three came down to the stage where Sweetie stood.

Sweetie was about to lecture Spike about space and personal boundaries, but he picked her up, and gave her a big hug. She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder.

"Spikeieeeeeee~! I told you I was nervous about letting you hear me sing…sweetheart," she whispered into his ear.

"Don't be mad at Spike, Sweetie. We told him about your solo and offered ta bring him," Apple Bloom said to the hug smothered pony.

"And we just knew that the big goof would love to hear you more than anything. Seriously, I think you just made his whole year," Scootaloo speculated, hoping Sweetie had enough air.

Spike finally set the dainty pony down again, her eyes glossy. She looked at Spike and her two friends and felt an amazing sense of peace. Like nothing could be wrong as long as she had so many who loved and cared about her.

"I'm not mad. I-I guess it had to happen at some point," Sweetie confessed. She did still feel shy about Spike hearing her sing, but she did like how he praised her.

Sweetie smiled up at the dragon, fluttering her lashes and hitting him with an invisible beam of feminine charm.

Apple Bloom nudged Scootaloo, who looked a bit grossed out by the gushy sight of her friend flirting with her boyfriend.

"Well, uh…Me and Scootaloo are gonna goooooooo…"

"Hit up Sugar Cube Corner!" Scootaloo cut in.

"Yeah! That's it. Come on, Scoot Scoot."

And with that, Apple Bloom and Scootaloo took off to the sweet shop.

Sweetie Belle walked over to Spike, where she nuzzled against him like a kitten.

"What are you doing here, Spikey? Did you decide to finally make my dream come true and join me in classes?" She asked with a well placed blink.

Spike suddenly remembered why he came to get her. He knelt down and took her hoof in his claws.

"Sweetie! I need you to come with me!"

Sweetie tilted her head with a raised brow.

"Where?" She asked.

Spike looked really excited, which excited Sweetie too, but with a little more hesitation.

"I can't tell you, it's a surprise. Will you come with me?"

Sweetie felt her heart race. There was only one reason a guy would look so excited about taking his girlfriend to a place he couldn't tell her about.

"I-is he planing to take me to some pay by the hour hotel? O-or a secluded place in the forest?"

The scenarios kept playing in her head, but she remembered what her friends had told her.

"Do him."

She gulped, steeling her nerves as she looked into his eyes. She didn't expect him to be so direct, but she would be lying if she said that she didn't kinda like it.

"O-of course. I…I'll go with you."

Spike beamed as he led her by the hoof to what Sweetie assumed would be her becoming a full mare.

They walked for a while till they were outside Ponyville. Sweetie felt more than a little nervous. Spike must have planned this out, and Sweetie wondered what he had planned to cause such excitement.

Finally he stopped. Sweetie looked around, but wasn't sure how she felt about the location. They were in the middle of a large rockey field. There was sand and grit under her hooves, and all around there were big boulders. It went without saying that it wasn't the most ideal or scenic place Sweetie imagined losing her virginity, but Spike usually had a plan to woo her.

"This place is…nice, Spike," she said, trying to sound optimistic.

"Yeah, it's great," he said, looking around for something.

"Ok, uh, take a seat there. I won't take too long," he instructed, pointing to a spot behind her.

Sweetie looked behind her at a flat rock. She was about to ask Spike what he was planning, but Spike had already started digging in the dirt, which only confused her greatly.

Not wanting to ruin his scheme, she took a seat on the rock and watched as he dug.

Twenty minutes passed and Sweetie wasn't having very much fun. She had set to using her magic to stack little rocks, and now she was surrounded by a little city of rock towers.

She sighed, about to tell Spike that she was ready to go home, when he stood up from his waist deep hole and looked to her with a mud covered goofy grin.

"Found it!" He cheered.

Sweetie got up excitedly, eager for a change of pace. She darted to the edge of the hole and looked down. Spike pulled out what looked like a long skinny stalagmite covered in sand and dirt.

"Here, hold this in your hooves," he instructed, passing the rock to Sweetie, who cringed a bit at holding the dirty object.

"Uhhh, Spike? What is this?"

"It's a piece of fulgurite!" He exclaimed happily.

Sweetie looked over the ugly rock, feeling more than a little disappointed.

"So, you brought me out here for a dirty rock?"

Spike's face looked crestfallen.

"Ok ok, I'll explain. Last night we had that thunder storm. Well, I saw a bolt of lightning strike over here. Twilight told me that when lightning strikes wet sand, the heat of that strike is five times hotter than the surface of the sun."

"Wow, that is really hot," sweetie said, honestly amazed at how hot lightning could be.

"It's so hot that it melts the silica in the sand, leaving a perfect imprint of the lightning's shape."

Sweetie looked down at the fulgurite with new amazement.

"So, you mean that…."

Spike nodded.

"That rock you're holding, is the closest you or me will ever get to holding a bolt of lightning. A fitting gift, for a princess I think."

Sweetie didn't know what to say. She had come with him expecting him to make a move on her, but here he was covered in dirt so that he could give her a one of a kind treasure.

It was boring at first, but now she would look back at it as one of the best dates ever.

"Do you like it? I know it isn't as cool as a-"

In a flash, Sweetie set the fulgurite down and tackled Spike in the hole. She didn't even care that he was covered in dirt and sweat.

The couple laid in the hole, laughing and cuddling. Sweetie gave him a firm kiss on his mouth, flashing him her mint green eyes.

"I absolutely love it."

"I'm home," Silver Spoon said as she entered the large entryway of her house. Her voice echoed off the high walls and long hallways of the mansion. She sighed to herself, as she realized once again that declaring her return to an empty house was a pointless habit she had. She had grown accustomed to entering an empty home when she was a filly. Her mother was always working, and the butlers were always off by the time she got home.

She sighed once again as she started trudging her way up the grand staircase to her room.

A wave of peace and moderate comfort filled her as she stepped inside her room and threw her school bag to the side.

Her calm was soon over washed by the almost crushing loneliness that the perpetual silence caused. After her father left when Silver was still a little filly, her mother became a cold workaholic, choosing to stay away and use her money as a substitute for love.

The teen pony flopped onto her bed and pulled out her mane tie, letting her braid unwind and fall like silver water over her cheeks. It was times like these that she often thought of Diamond Tiara, despite her distaste for those memories. Diamond was by no means a "good friend", but she was the only one that Silver had ever known.

A choice she never stopped regretting.

Diamond Tiara on her best day was spiteful and cruel, both traits Silver had adopted so that she could be friends with the prissy snob. Silver was a young pony when they met, and she didn't know what a good friend was at the time. She still didn't. She had just made friends with somepony who she thought was the best fit for her, both of them being from wealthy families.

Sure, she had played along with her unreasonable hatred for the Cutie Mark Crusaders, but she never actually hated them herself. In truth, she thought that they looked like a nice, fun trio.

Silver huffed in frustration as she rolled onto her side and stared at the wall.

Diamond had been mean to her more times than she could remember, and now she kicked herself for putting up with it for so long. Under her influence, Silver had berated, insulted, demeaned, and been just an all around bully to ponies she honestly didn't hate at all. Ponies whom she could have been friends with today, had she not made such terrible decisions.

It all came to light, the day the only one she had ever called friend left without so much as a 'see ya'.

Silver had made a resolution that day. She would leave everypony alone.

She had been so cruel and bad to them in the past, so she had reasoned that the only way she could make up for her past, was to just leave everypony alone and try not to bother any of them.

It meant that she was always alone now, but she believed that she deserved it.

Some nights she would close her eyes and see all the sad faces and hurt expressions of those she had hurt or bullied, and it would break her heart. She would cry endlessly as she apologized and said aloud to nopony that she was so very sorry.

Her life of self exile was broken briefly one day, the first day of high school. The day she saw Sweetie Belle after the long summer break. Silver felt instant regret at the sight of the now beautiful older unicorn. She remembered all too vividly the mean things she had said and done to her, and for no reason.

Silver lowered her head as she turned and started for the front entrance.

"Silver Spoon," she heard call to her in a familiar voice.

Before she could look, she was caught by Sweetie in a big hug. Silver's heart was pounding in her ears as Sweetie held her, saying how happy she was that they would be in the same class together.

After the hug, Sweetie waved and trotted off, and Silver was left in shock and confusion.

It was then that her anger sparked to life.

"H-how can she just hug me and act like she doesn't remember what I did to her!? Is she…..?"

Silver then came to the conclusion.

She's mocking me.

She knows that Diamond is gone, and she's rubbing the fact that I'm alone in my face.

Wasn't it enough that she was a ghost now? Hadn't she been suffering enough?

Silver stood trembling as she bit her lip, tears starting to pour from her tightly closed eyes.

It wasn't fair.

Yes, she had been a bad pony to her and her friends, but she was paying the price now, and she had accepted it.

But Sweetie, she had to make her feel even worse, acting friendly like that to spite her. She had everything Silver didn't.

EVERYTHING!

"With all her blessings and all her happiness, she couldn't just leave me to my solitude. She had to get back at me in the most cruel way."

"I will live the rest of my life as nopony, to atone for my sins, but before that, I will be the bully they see me as, and make her cry one last time."

Silver felt a twinge in her stomach. She sat up on her bed and groaned in pain. She had been having bad stomach pain for a while. It came and went some days, but it wasn't so painful that she needed to see a doctor. She reasoned that the anger and sadness she felt was a contributing factor in her tummy aches. These days, she tried not to go out or interact with others if she didn't need to, another part of her penance. And when she did, she kept it short.

At a Hay Burger, she just said her order, followed by a 'thank you'. At a store it was much the same.

Small talk made her uncomfortable, and large crowds made her feel small and nervous.

She got up and went to get a glass of milk for her tummy. Some days she wished that she had somepony to help her when she was sick or in pain or sad, but she had learned to cope with solitude.

After all, it was her only friend now.

It was that oh so peaceful time between night and dawn as Sweetie Belle snoozed like a dainty flower under her pink blankets. She was having a wonderful dream where she could eat as much as she wanted and not gain a pound. On her dresser was mounted the long rock she had gotten the day prior. Sweetie had felt hesitant about the dirty rock, till she learned that it was petrified lightning. So she brought it home and washed it off and….it still looked like a dirty rock, but it was about what it was on the inside.

Suddenly, a rapping sound came from her window. Sweetie groaned as she stirred from her peaceful sleep and angled her head to the window.
The form of an orange pegasus grinning told her through the groggy haze that it was Scootaloo, come to pay her an early visit.

The still half asleep unicorn got up from her warm nest and went to open the window. Her usual lush and bouncy mane had transformed over night to what Sweetie's friends liked to call "The Sweetie Fro". Scootaloo zipped in and gracefully touched down on the floor, beaming as if she had won the lottery.

"Hey Sweetie! I know it's early, but I just couldn't wait to talk to you about this idea I had," the teen pegasus explained as Sweetie drifted in and out of consciousness.

"W-what is it Scootaloo?" She asked in a dry tone.

"I've been thinking about your whole 'not sure about going all the way with your drakefriend' thing, and I think I have a solution."

Sweetie perked a bit at her friend's offer for help, while still feeling a bit of trepidation at the idea of accepting Scootaloo's help. In the past, Scootaloo's ideas of "helping" entailed some kind of over the top risk to ones life, but Sweetie always tried to stay open to her friend's suggestions.

"W-well, I'll hear you out, but I'm not jumping into anything," she made perfectly clear.

Scootaloo turned her head from left to right, showing off her ears and the silver studs that decorated them. Scootaloo had developed an addiction for steel, (or piercings more precisely). She had gotten her first one when she turned thirteen, and then two became four.

"I think you should get pierced," she stated like it was no big deal.

Sweetie's irises shrank to pin holes. She had hated the idea of pain to a degree that some would consider……crazy? As a filly, she needed to be held down by no less than three full grown stallions whenever she needed to get a shot at the doctor's. So it went without saying that the idea of being punctured of her own volition was an alien concept.

"NO," she said definitively. But Scootaloo wasn't going to be denied so easily.

"Sweetie, I know that you have a 'thing' about needles and pain or whatever, but think about it for a second. Having a piercing would make you more confidant, and then you wouldn't be so scared about forming the hydra with two backs with Spike."

Sweetie only looked at her friend with a face that begged the question "seriously?".

"Aaaaaand, did I mention that guys go gaga for a girl who has piercings?" Scootaloo asked, giving Sweetie a sly grin.

Sweetie was about to say "no" again, but she started to think about it more. Spike was somewhat perverted, so it might entice him even if she had some body jewelry to tease him with. She started fantasizing about the look on his face when he saw a ring or stud on her body. She could even get one with a gem inside it, just to get his mouth watering.

A few moments of pain would be worth a lifetime of drakefriend attention.

"Scootaloo, how strong is your right hoof?" Sweetie asked seriously.

Scootaloo looked down at her right appendage, contemplating the question.

"Uhhhhh, pretty strong I guess. Why do you ask?"

Sweetie used a brush to try and tame "The Fro", before turning to leave her room quietly.

"Because I'm gonna need you to hold my hoof, and I don't want to break yours."

Scooaloo squeed on the inside as she followed Sweetie to the stairs.

"You won't regret this, Sweetie. My friend at the parlor is a real pro, and she said that since you're my friend, she'll do you for free!"

Scootaloo continued to rattle on how this was a great idea, while Sweetie was sweating at the thought of the pain to come.

It was thirty minutes later and thirty minutes past eight when Sweetie tip hoofed into her home and back up to her room. She needed to keep her new piercing a secret from her parents. Sweetie was still tired, so she laid down so as not to agitate her new piercing. She was scared of the idea at first, but it was really pretty, and it did make her feel more confident and sexy.

She had selected a silver ring with a little ball of emerald to hold it in place. The emerald ball reminded her of Spike's eyes, which she thought of as she drifted back to sleep.

Spike walked up the steps to Sweetie's house. He knocked lightly on the door and waited for somepony to answer. The sound of hooves on floor approached the door, and Spike smiled at the familiar, happy face of Pearl as she answered.

"Spike, what a wonderful surprise. What brings you by so early, sweetheart?"

Spike always liked Pearl. Since the day that he and Sweetie had started dating, she had treated him like he was her son, and often stated that she would be his mom one day, which caused an embarrassed blush to come to Spike's face, not to mention Sweetie's.

"Morning, Pearl. Is Sweetie up yet?"

"Oh, that girl, she's still snoozing in her room. Why don't you go wake her up for me?"

Spike smiled and saluted.

"Will do," he chimed.

"I made some cookies. Make sure to get one before you go."

Spike licked his lips.

"Mrs. Pearl, you are a lady and a saint, and if I wasn't infatuated with your daughter, I would elope with you to the Crystal Empire" he complemented as he ascended the stairs, leaving Pearl to blush and giggle.

Spike gave Sweetie's door a light knock, but found that the door opened as he touched it, revealing a sleeping unicorn on her pink bed. She looked so cute and angelic as she slept like a foal. Spike was about to say something to wake her, when he noticed something that made his jaw drop. Sweetie was laying on her side, which drew his attention to her exposed belly, and the shiny silver ring in her navel with a green gem.

He stopped thinking, and breathing a little bit. Spike stepped one foot forward, but accidentally let his foot slam on the floor, causing Sweetie to stir. She cooed, raising her head and blinking at the sight of the scaly purple male standing in her doorway. She smiled as she used a hoof to rub the sleep from her eyes.

"Hey, Spikey boo. What time is it?" She asked, not noticing that Spike was staring at her navel.

"Uhh, it's eleven," he said, trying not to sound shocked.

Sweetie's vision came back to normal, as did her memory of the ring in her bellybutton. Her hooves quickly darted to her middle in an attempt to cover the ring, but it was too late. Spike had seen, and Sweetie could tell from the look on his face.

"S-Spike! I, uh, I didn't want you to find out like this! I wanted to show you after you got done with your job…"

Spike gulped, his feet moving on their own to where the blushing teen lay on her bed. With his strong claws, he moved her hooves as easily as tearing a paper bag. Sweetie squeaked as she shut her eyes and her face lit up like a stop light.

A long silence ensued as Spike gazed at the silver navel ring. Sweetie's soft, pink belly with the abstract addition of the ring was more entrancing than a meteor shower or a hoard of white gold coins and rainbow sapphires. He could feel his mouth watering at the sight of the small round stone at its middle, and it looked like a tasty little morsel.

Sweetie peeked at Spike's face, hoping that a peek would allow her to gauge his reaction to her new piercing, and hoping beyond that that he favored it.

His eyes were locked on the jewelry, his eyes sparkling. She wasn't sure, but she almost thought that she heard a low growling sound in his chest.

"Do…do you like it?" She asked the powerful male drake who's face was just a breath away from her most closely guarded treasures. A puff of a thought occurred to open her hind legs (just a bit) and giving him an eyeful of her blossoming mounds, but decided against it, seeing as he was absolutely transfixed on the ring in her navel.

Spike gulped.

"Yeah…I really do," he breathed.

"Didn't it hurt though? I thought you hatter all things sharp and pointed, especially ones intended to break the skin."

Sweetie huffed in embarrassment.

"W-well, Scootaloo came by. She went on about how you would like it…so…yeah."

Spike smirked, flashing his pearly fangs as his mind filled with desires of eating the white cutie whole.

"So, uh, is it ok, or does it still hurt?" He asked, seeing that the skin around the hole was a little red.

"Well, it doesn't really hurt, as much as it feels a little tender."

Spike broke his fix on her belly and smiled wickedly, slipping his forked tongue out and sucking it back in like a serpent.

He let a thick part of his tongue lay flat on the bottom part of her bellybutton and dragged it up to the top, over the ring and back down again, coating the warm, pink flesh in saliva. Sweetie gasped.

"Ah! Y-you're trying to tease me, aren't you!?"

Spike chuckled, sucking his tongue back into his mouth before dawning the most serious face he could.

"No, no, of course not. Don't you see the redness around the piercing? I'm just trying to clean it for you. Isn't that something a good boyfriend would do for his princess?"

Sweetie could smell cow pie from a mile away, but something kept her from giving the giant purple perv a firm smack.

She liked it.

He was being so naughty and assertive. She could see it in his eyes that even if she said 'no' that he would just eat out her navel regardless. Not to mention that his hot, wet tongue felt really good on her "tender" piercing. As if all that wasn't enough, he called her "princess", which was the cherry on the sunday.

So, putting aside her ladylike prudishness, she decided to…'indulge' his perversions.

"Oh, ok then. Y-you can keep going," she uttered in her best "shy filly" voice.

Spike slipped his tongue out and started using the forked tips to tickle around the depression, eliciting a sharp sigh from Sweetie. His mouth was really watering now, as the sweet taste of the gem stone and her skin dissolved on his tongue.

Without warning, he released a long length of his oral muscle fall onto her stomach. Now he was openly dragging his tongue up and down her belly, his saliva pooling in her navel and coating her stomach in drool.

It wasn't quite what Sweetie had in mind. She was hoping for a nice, romantic session of him kissing and gently licking her button, but this was just raunchy.
Despite that, Sweetie was kind of…enjoying this sort of attention.

His tongue felt so strong and wet, while his saliva was so hot it almost felt like liquid flames. She had noticed that trait from their various make-out sessions. Spike had explained that a dragon's saliva had hot saliva from the salivary glands being in close proximity to the fire glands.

With his heated drool, and the thick weight of his tongue rubbing and pressing into her flesh, it almost felt like he was massaging her with his mouth, and Sweetie was soon finding herself cooing and sighing as her hot breath billowed with her heavy breathing.

"Y-you just wanted an excuse to molest my stomach…didn't you?"

Spike was too entranced in his feast to answer. He could feel Sweetie trembling under him as he let his tongue slither and slide all over her.

"You're such a pervert, Spike," she whimpered between waves of pleasure. It was then that she perked up, feeling an undeniable feeling of moisture in a very private place, a moisture that was bellowing at her to slate. She covered her mouth with a food as she half lidded her eyes at the handsome and sexy dragon still at work on her belly. She could feel her desire rising, as well as the wetness, forcing words to rise up from within.

"Y-you know….if you like…you can…you can-"

"Oh snap! Is that the time!?"

Sweetie would have jumped, had it not been for Spike's strong weight on her.

Spike had glanced at the clock and seen that he had five minutes to get to his job at Silver Spoon's house. He looked to Sweetie, his pevy predator look gone and in it's place was his normal Spikey face.

"I'm so sorry, Sweetie, I gotta get running or I'm gonna be late."

Sweetie brushed a lock of mane that had stuck to the sweat on her brow, smiling and trying her best not to look frazzled.

"Of course, sweetie, go ahead. I wouldn't want you to be late."

Spike leaned in and gave her a kiss.

"I'll see you around four."

Sweetie put a gentle hoof to his cheek, giving him a warm eye flutter.

"Be safe, ok?"

Spike felt his chest get tight as he leaned in again, giving her a slightly longer kiss.

"Don't worry your pretty little flank about me, princess."

Sweetie blushed again as she watched him dash out the door. She waited a minute or two before she flopped her face into her pillow, flailing her limbs as she screamed out her muffled frustrations.

"STUPID SPIKE! STUPID DRAGON! STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!"

She raised her head, huffing as she replayed the events in her mind.

"Guess I can't bee too mad. I did get a nice, hot belly loving. Scootaloo was right, I'll have to thank her monday at….OH BUCK!"

Sweetie had gotten so caught up in her love session with Spike that she had forgotten about the lunch she had slaved over (with her mother's help) for Spike.
She felt like such a dunce. How could she send her boyfriend off without the lunch she had made him?

"Oh no! Now he's going to get hungry, and he won't have any lovingly made lunch to nourish himself with!"

Her face took on a look of horror as she turned to her mirror.

"Of all the worst things that could happen...this is..the....WORST....POSSIBLE...THING!!"

Sweetie jumped up and darted down to the kitchen. If she was going to catch up with him, she was going to have to put on some speed. While Spike did have somewhat stubby legs, he could run like an Equestria games athlete.

Silver Spoon looked out a window at the purple dragon as he ran toward her mansion, a sinister smile cresting her features. She let her mane out and took off her glasses. She turned to a contact lens case and opened it, gently placing the lenses in her eyes. She blinked and hissed as the burning pain came in waves.

She quickly shook it off, leaving her room after checking her look and finding herself lovely. A knock came at the door as she reached the entry.

"Step two starts now."

The elegant double door opened with a small creak as Silver Spoon took in the sight of the slightly taller male drake.

"Well hello Spike. Oh, you look hot today," she lied as she shot him a sexy yet friendly smile.

"Uh, hey, Silver Spoon. I'm not late, am I?" He asked, not sure about her complement.

Silver waved her hoof in dismissal.

"No-no, of course not. You're right on time."

Spike had felt skeptical about this whole thing since Silver proposed it, but Spike wasn't the type to just call others on their deceptions. If this girl had some hijinks planed, then Spike was gonna keep an eye out.

"Great. If you wanna show me to the tools and lead me to the problem, I can get it all ship shape and out of your mane."

Silver smiled devilishly on the inside.

"I'm so very grateful for the help, buuuuuuut."

"But?" Spike asked.

"Would you mind terribly helping me reach something?"

Now Spike was getting worried that there was something sinister waiting for him, but he felt confident that he could handle it. Being that he was a hundred and ninety pound fire breathing dragon.

"Uh, sure. Lead the way."

Silver giggled, doing her best to display her glasses free eyes for him.

"Follow me," she beckoned seductively, turning to the grand staircase and beginning the first step in seducing her prey.

She nonchalantly swung her tail from side to side as she sauntered in an attempt to tease him with the view of her rump. Spike, though, was more distracted by the interior of the large mansion. It was no castle/tree, but it was posh and elegant. But despite the elegance of Silver Spoons' mansion, Spike couldn't shake the feeling that the big house was cold and lonely. He looked to the gray teen, tilting his head at the odd way she was walking, wondering if maybe she had some hip issue.

"Hey Silver Spoon, I-"

"Oh, Spike, you can just call me Silver. You don't have to be so formal with little ol' me."

"Ok…Silver. Your place is kinda quiet. Don't you have maids and butlers?"

Silver kept herself from showing anything with her body language, but more she felt annoyed that he was noticing the lack of occupancy in her house and not the pert, gray butt swaying in front of him.

"They used to hang around all day, when I was a filly, but my mother cut back the staff before I started high school," she explained.

"Good thing too. It was sooo annoying having them around bugging me. Now I get the whole place to myself."

Despite sounding happy about being alone, Spike could see otherwise. The aura she gave off was very much like her coat. Gray and solum, like the clouds you see atop a tall mountain.

"And what about your mom?"

"She's in Las Pegasus on business. Then she'll probably be in Manehattan for the rest of the year," she explained in a blank tone, much like an accountant reading off the quarters budget.

Spike was about to ask another question, but her aura and the atmosphere of the house said that he shouldn't. They walked down the hall in relative silence till they reached Silver's room, Spike feeling more hesitant than he did before.

Silver Spoon turned her head, noticing the trepidation on his face.

"What? It's just my room, Spike."

"Eeeeeyeah, it's just kinda…"

Silver rolled her eyes internally. She thought that it would take a little fanes to get him in her clutches. She widened her magenta eyes and put on a pouty lip.

"B-but Spike, I really need your help. You've been in Sweetie Belle's room before, haven't you?"

Spike was no sucker, but he just couldn't say 'no' to a pouty girl. It was his one weakness.

"'Sigh' All right."

Silver chuckled to herself, thinking that this may be too easy. She strolled inside and turned on her back hoof next to her book case.

"It's right up there."

She pointed up to the top shelf at a jeweled box. Spike pointed sarcastically at the box. The book shelf was low enough that Spike didn't need to strain to grab it. Maybe Silver Spoon couldn't reach it, but it would only be by a couple inches. Surly she had a step stool or chair around.

"You see I…" She got on her back hooves, using her fore hooves to brace against the shelf. She bent one of her back legs while rising to the tip of the other one. This position would show off her body in an elegant way, allowing him to take in her form.

"Just can't quite rea-"

"Ya, ok, here you go," Spike said, grabbing the box and passing it to her.

If she had been wearing her glasses she was sure one of the lenses would have cracked from the waves of building irritation she was exuding.

"Oh, thank you so much," she growled through gritted teeth.

"Calm down, Silver Spoon. He may be part lizard or something, but he's still a guy."

Inhaling through her nostrils, she composed herself and moved on to the next strategy. Smiling brightly at the unsuspecting drake, she turned toward him.

"Well, Spike, I guess we can-Whoooa!"

With all the talent of an out of work actor, she did a stage dive like she had tripped over some un-seen obstacle. Spike's instincts kicked in like some sort of 'amazing spider person', catching her in his arm before she hit the hard ground. Silver had planed to fake hitting the ground harder than she actually did, but something unexpected happen when she felt the warmth given off from Spike's arm.

With her hooves she could feel the hard muscles under his smooth scales, despite their lerpy appearance.

Her heart skipped a beat, and her face flushed as she realized that she was being held…by a boy.

It was a new and alien feeling, being held by anyone really. At first it felt as though she couldn't move, like she was a rag doll. Spike lifted her till she was on her hooves again.

"You ok?" He asked with genuine concern.

Silver was at a loss for words. It was like she was looking at someone new, and she didn't understand it.

"Uh, I…"

She remembered what she was doing, and quickly concocted a new strategy.

"Oh! Ow, my hoof! I think I sprained my hoof! Owwww~"

She sat on her rump, raising her right hind hoof up as she quickly put on a pained expression. Spike knelt down, taking the hoof in his claw.

"Try not to move," he instructed.

"Tell me if this hurts."

He gently turned it to the right a little as he looked at it. Silver Spoon had once again gotten herself into an unexpected internal predicament. She expected for his masculine instincts to tell him to help her, but she didn't expect for it to be so…enticing. Her thighs pushed together kept everything concealed, but the naughty thought crossed her to open her legs and…

His big, clawed appendage felt strong and comforting, and for the briefest of moments she forgot that she was pretending to be hurt.

"Oh-oh, right there," she whimpered in a cute tone.

Spike still had his doubts, but he couldn't deny that she looked to be in pain.

"It's probable just twisted a little. You should get off of it, and I'll get some ice."

Silver was already concocting a new plan, when she felt Spike's long limbs gently lift her up and hold her like a knight might hold a damsel in distress. Like a blanket, she felt a warm wave of comfort wash over her. Spike took a step toward her bed, but something kicked inside Silver. She was supposed to be seducing him, not the other way around. She began to struggle.

"H-hey! I-I can walk on my own! I didn't say you could just pick me up!"

Spike tried to keep his hold on the relatively smaller female, but she was more agile than she looked, and soon he found that he was loosing his grip on her.

"S-Silver! Calm down! I-I'm just trying too-OH!"

With one powerful squirm, Silver slipped from his grasp, and Spike fell forward to catch her once again.

A series of bumps and grunting sounds echoed, and when the smoke cleared, Silver found herself laying atop something soft and scaly, despite the contradiction of the two.

Spike groaned as he tilted his head up, coming face to face with the teen earth pony and her wide, sparkling magenta eyes.

This, above all others, was the grand daddy of all compromising situates. Silver felt the fine hairs on the back of her neck stand on end. This was it, she all but had him now. All that was left was a well placed look of need and a gentle wiggle.

"Now…you are mine!"

"Spiiiiiike~! You forgot your lunch, you big silly…"

The sound of a certain white unicorn's voice caused all thought and activity to stop like a barrel rolling into a red dressed plumber.

Sweetie Belle's eyes widened from the provocative sight of her classmate atop her draconic boy toy, but mostly from the infuriating sight of Silver Spoon touching Spike's pot belly.

~A brief historical telling of Sweetie Belle's odd obsession with Spike's pot belly~

As a filly, she had never thought anything of a male with a round stomach other than "ew". Once Spike came into her life, she had seen it in a different light, and that light was very bright and had flower petals falling around it while pegasus fillies flutter on either side holding up a white silk cloth.

Sweetie loved using the pudg as a pillow, and tickling it with the tip of her hoof, and kissing it, and blowing raspberries on it. Spike was more or less self conscious about his gut, but something about seeing such a cute, beautiful girl fawning over his chub was kinda…..yeah, it was pretty great.

She couldn't explain it, she just thought the thing was so sun lovingly sexy.

And this concludes our brief history of Sweetie's pot belly fetish.

~Thank You~

"Silver Spoon….Get…the buck….off…of his belly…now," she ordered in the calmest way she could.

Silver Spoon did as she was commanded, but dawned a defiant sneer once she was off.

"Oh, Sweetie Belle," she said curtly.

"Sooo sorry that you had to find out like this, but I guess it's better that you know."

Spike on the other hoof was scrambling to his knees.

"S-Sweetie! It's not what it looks like! She fell, and I was trying to-"

"Spike, why don't you go wait for me outside? There isn't any roof to fix here."

Spike thought that she would get the wrong idea and start crying, or throw a brick at his face with magic, but she sounded just as calm and sweet as before he left her house.

"Um, are you-"

"Spike, everything is fine. I'm just going to have a talk with Silver Spoon."

Not wanting to push the matter, Spike got up and walked out the door, leaving the two teens in the room. It was clear to Silver that Sweetie had seen through her plot, all that was left was the final conflict. She stood up and struck a feminine pose.

"What, you wanna fight?" She asked, staring daggers at her nemesis.

Sweetie smiled somewhat sinisterly as she started moving toward Silver Spoon, who was ready for whatever she threw at her. But before the gray teen could react, she was grabbed up in a tender hug. Sweetie had Silver Spoon caught in one of her signature marshmallow hugs, which Spike received almost on a daily basis.

"W-what are you doing!?" Silver asked. She tried to struggle, but found that the awesome power of the marshmallow hug was just as strong as it was soft.

"It's ok, Silver Spoon, I forgive you," Sweetie whispered as she gave her captive a little squeeze.

"What?"

"I forgive you. You must have felt so sad and alone if you went this far to get my attention."

"HUH!?"

Sweetie pulled back a little.

"You have nothing to be jealous about. You're a beautiful, interesting, and smart pony. I'm sure that anyone would be happy to be your friend. I know I would."

Silver Spoon found herself completely blind sided. Sweetie Belle wasn't acting at all like she thought she would. What was expected to be a crushing and all out cry-o-thon or a knock down drag out fight was now a heartfelt forgiving and offer of friendship.

"Ah-I-you-uh……D-do you really mean that?" She asked hesitantly.

"Of course! You've been so quiet and reserved since we started school, I've been waiting for an opportunity to break the ice."

Her eyes suddenly felt hot and moist, and it was getting increasingly difficult to stifle the sounds of sobbing.

"R-realy!? Even after all the mean and horrible things I did to you and your friends?"

Sweetie batted an eye.

"Why would that keep us from being friends?"

"W-what do you mean "why"? That's the whole thing! They…All of them hate me! They all remember me as a bully! Why wouldn't they hate me!?"

To this, Sweetie pulled her head back into the softness of the mallow.

"Silver Spoon, me and everypony else knows that that was all Diamond Tiara. You're just not like that. And if anyone still holds a grudge against you for that, then they must be very immature."

Now Silver couldn't keep herself from sobbing, except unlike the many times before, this one felt good, and cleansing, as if she was getting lighter as the tears fell.

"T-that's not fair…Y-you don't get to be so…nice, after all I've done," Silver sobbed, now returning the hug.

"I know I know, but that is what friends are for."

The two girls parted from their hugging, Silver now sniffing as her emotions passed. Funny, she had wanted to make Sweetie cry, but in the end it was the other way around.

"So…you really didn't believe that Spike would…you know, with me?"

Sweetie perked up, quickly followed by her giggling elatedly.

"H-hey! Why are you laughing? It it so crazy to think that I could take your boy-"

"Oh-oh, Silver Spoon, that's not why I'm laughing. I'm laughing because I know that Spike would never cheat on me with you or any other pony."

~Out in the hall~

Spike was about to head down the stairs, when it hit him that he had just left his girlfriend in what may become a deadly cat fight, and quickly headed back. When he was outside the door, he could hear the gentle sounds of Silver Spoon crying, along with the sound of Sweetie comforting her.

Now, Spike was no eavesdropper, but he did think that he shouldn't leave in case things got ugly in there. So with folded arms, he leaned against the wall and listened in.

"Spike would never cheat on me with you or another pony."

Hearing this caused Spike to grin inwardly. Sweetie trusted him, and that warmed him where he lived.

"Yep, the only mare in all the world that he would cheat on me with is my sister."

His inward grin turned to a frown before breaking into pieces.

"What? You don't really mean that, do you?" Silver Spoon asked curiously.

"Oh, I do. If my sister ever gave him an offer, then I would be yesterdays news for sure, but I'm not worried. Rarity hasn't even been out on a date in years, let alone show Spike anything other than friendship."

Spike dropped his arms to his sides, his claws balled up into fists as he turned to head back to the front door.

"Speaking of which, I shouldn't keep him waiting."

Sweetie gave Silver another hug before turning toward the door.

"S-Sweetie Belle," Silver Spoon beckoned, to which Sweetie turned back toward her.

"D..does this mean that we're friends?"

"Pffffft! Duh! I thought that that was obvious."

"But, what about Apple Bloom and Scootaloo?"

Sweetie giggled.

"Let me have a talk with them. But don't worry, they won't mind having a new addition to the group."

Silver still felt some of her nervousness and anxiety, but for some reason she felt lighter. Like now she could hold her head up a bit more, feel a little more sunlight on her face, and it was all thanks to her enemy.

"Oh, Silver Spoon? One last thing," Sweetie said, turning her head to the side. Silver Spoon felt a sudden bolt of raw fear at the sight of Sweetie's eye, swirling with blackness and threat.

"Don't ever touch his belly again…ok?"

Silver Spoon only gulped as she nodded.

"Great! See you at school," she said in an eerily contrasting inflection.

Silver Spoon was alone with her thoughts now, only this time they weren't unhappy ones.

Sweetie walked next to Spike in a silence that confused the teen mare. Something about the look Spike had in his eyes said that something was weighing heavily on his mind.

"Spike, sweetie? You know that I know that nothing happened with you and Silver Spoon, right?"

"Yeah…not with her."

Sweetie didn't say anything in reply. She never knew what else to say when he gets like this. She tried to nuzzle him as they walked, but Spike would subtly step away from her affections.

They reached Sweetie's house. Sweetie Belle turned to Spike, looking up at his face to try and read what was wrong, but after failing to do that, she decided to ask him outright.

"Spike, is something the matter? You've been very-"

"Sweetie Belle…I overheard what you said to Silver Spoon."

At first Sweetie didn't realize what Spike was saying, and she gave him a scolding glare.

"Spike! It's very rude to….oh."

"Is that really what you think? That I would leave you for Rarity?"

"No, I-"

"Don't lie to me!" He roared, grabbing her by her shoulders.

Sweetie recoiled at the loud outburst. She had never heard him speak so harshly to her, and in his claws, for the first time, she felt scared.

"S-Spike, I didnt-"

"When you said to me, "You're my dragon, not Rarity's". Is that what this has all been about? It is, isn't it? Isn't it!?"

"No Spike!"

"You don't care about me and you never have! This is about you getting one up on Rarity, isn't it!?"

Sweetie couldn't say anything, and as the seconds passed, she felt spike grip her shoulders tighter.

"ANSWER ME!"

Sweetie winced as she felt one of his claws sink into her skin.

"Spike, you're hurting me!"

She pulled away just as Spike released his grip. He felt disgusted at his own actions and the rage that fueled them, but he was too angry at her to apologize. He turned his back to her, an act that hurt more than his claw.

"You know what, Sweetie Belle? You don't love me…and you don't trust me."

Sweetie's mouth hung open. Her eyes burned with tears, and her limbs felt like they would fail her at any moment. She tried to say something to his wide and foreboding back, but the words refused to leave her burning chest.

"I…..I don't think we should see each other for a while."

Her hoof trembled as she raised it to try and stop him, but it was like he had a barrier around him, keeping her away.

"Goodbye, Sweetie Belle."

It wasn't real.

That's what she kept telling herself over and over again as she watched him walk away, but after a while she realized that it was real, and now she sat on her stoop, alone as tears fell freely from her broken heart.

Like a zombie, she slumped up to her room and closed the door, locking it behind her. She screamed in anger, hurling the lunch she made at a wall where the plastic box broke into pieces, sending food and bits of plastic out in all directions.

She threw herself onto her bed, the same bed that she and him had cuddled and kissed on so many occasions. She cried loud and hard, till there were no more tears to cry.

A purple alicorn knocked three times on a firmly shut door that lead to the room of a certain purple assistant. The look on the princess's face said that she was deeply concerned about her oldest friend. He had come home nearly two weeks prior, silent and solemn. He said nothing as he breezed past her like a ghost, locking himself in his room where he stayed ever since, only coming out for food or bathroom.

Twilight had had enough though. She understood and respected that he was upset about something, but two weeks was where she drew the line. She was going to get to the bottom of this even if she had to force it out of him.

Using her level minty-five lock pick skills, she made the lock bend to her will. She flung the door open, instantly spotting the ball of scaly moping called Spike at his desk, pencil in hand, apparently drawing something.

"Spike! I've tried to be patient, I've tried to be understanding, but you smell like manticore dung, and you're starting to scare me. So either go outside and get some air, or tell me what the buck has got you so down in the-"

"Sweetie Belle doesn't trust me so I broke up with her and I want to be alone," he said in one neutral breath, not taking his eyes from the paper under him.

Twilight's eyes widened, gasping like she had just found an old castle full of older books.

"You did what!?"

Spike put down his pencil and turned his head toward Twilight.

"I broke up with her."

"But you two are like quills and ink! Why would you break up with her!?"

Spike felt his irritation boil up.

"I already told you, she doesn't trust me."

Twilight cocked her head.

"Doesn't trust you? Doesn't that sound like a silly reason to break it off with her? Couldn't you try talking it out?"

"Look! It doesn't concern you, and you wouldn't understand anyway, so just drop it!"

Twilight's ears shot straight up as her eyes narrowed.

"Doesn't concern me? How dare you….How dare you say that to me!"

Spike soon realized that in his anger he had said the wrong thing, turning his head away from his friend in shame.

"After everything we've been through together! After all the enemies we've fought, all the hardships we've seen together, and you have the nerve to say it doesn't concern me!?"

Spike looked back at her, this time with regret in his eyes.

"I…I'm sorry, Twilight. I didn't mean that, I'm just a little…upset," he confessed in a defeated tone.

Twilight couldn't stay mad at him, even when he was acting like a teenage brat. She strolled in, siting down next to him and placing a hoof on his shoulder.

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have pried. I understand that you're getting older, and Celestia knows that I'm no mother."

Spike turned to the pony princess, giving her a hug. Twilight hugged him back, knowing that he needed the affection.

"No, you're not, but you've done a great job despite," he commented warmly

Twilight felt a prideful tear roll down her cheek. Since the beginning she had been more of an older sister than a mother to her number one assistant, but she had watched him grow and mature, and after all the years, she liked to think that she knew how it felt to be a mom.

"I may not know the details, but I know that you care a lot about her, and I'm sure she feels the same. I can't tell you how to handle it, but I think that it would be a shame to let those feelings go to waste."

Spike pulled away, nodding at the wise advise.

The pencil on his desk rolled a few inches to the left, over the numerous drawings of marshmallows.

"Sweetie Beeeeeeelle! It's a beautiful day. Why don't you get out of that room and go play with your friends?"

Pearl had tried rousing her little girl from behind her locked door, but for two weeks now she had only seen her daughter between coming and going to school.
The only other indication of Sweetie being alive was the empty tray of food left outside her door that pearl had left for her.

It was obvious to the veteran mother that something was amiss with Sweetie, and after waiting for two weeks, she couldn't wait any longer.

Sighing, she produced the secret key she kept and unlocked the door. Sweetie would most likely be mad at her mother's intrusion, but she couldn't wait anymore.

"Sweetie, are you awake?"

Sweetie was laying on her bed with her back to the door. Pearl couldn't see her face as she looked out her window, but she was sure that it was sad and lonesome.

"Hey there, muffin. Ready to tell me what has you so down in the dumps?" She asks, walking over and sitting on the edge of Sweetie's bed.

Sweetie only exhaled deeply.

"No, mom," she said flatly.

"Did something happen between you and Spike?"

Sweetie grabbed a pillow with her magic, using it to cover her face as she groaned sadly.

"I thought so."

Sweetie peeked over the top of the pillow.

"Well, aren't you going to hound me with questions?" Sweetie asked her mother.

"Do you want me to hound you with questions?"

Sweetie gave her mom a sarcastic glance.

"No."

"Exactly, dear. Me and your father have always believed in letting you and your sister be the girls that you want to be. I'm not going to force you to open up to me. My wish is that you'll come to me when you're ready to talk."

Sweetie turned over, smiling at her mother. Pearl used a hoof to brush Sweetie's mane.

"Now, how about getting outside?"

Sweetie frowned.

"I don't want to, mom. I just wanna lay here until I turn old and gray," she stated sounding depressed.

"Well, what with being your father's shade of white I don't think you're far off," Pearl stated sarcastically.

Sweetie couldn't help but giggle. Pearl smiled, leaning over and giving her a kiss at the base of her horn.

"Oh! Before I forget, your sister wants you to come over to give her a hoof."

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Celestia perked up from her book, looking over at Philamina who was busy pecking at her bird seed.

"Did you hear that?"

The phenix looked back at her master, shrugging her wings.

"Meh, oh well."

~The Carousel Boutique~

Rarity sat at her sewing machine, gently using her hind hoof to operate the peddle. While she was under a time schedule, she couldn't keep her eyes from wandering to the right at the glum teenage mare who was snipping lengths of ribbon.

It was obvious to her that something was amiss with her beloved little sister.

Sweetie kept snipping ribbon like a robot, but her mind was miles away. She couldn't take her eyes off the emerald colored ribbon. It reminded her of someone.

"I do thank you ever so much, Sweetie Belle. Spike has decided to take a leave of absence, though he didn't say why."

"Uh, huh," she replied blankly.

The fashonista continued her sewing, mulling around for an idea of how to probe the young pony for more information. Luckily, Rarity was a master at gossip, and the art of getting it out of others. This situation would require more tact though, since it was obviously a sensitive matter at hoof.

"And how is your dashing special some drake, hmmm?"

Sweetie shot a spiteful glare at her sister's back. It was almost like Rarity was provoking her.

"I don't see what business it is of yours," she sneered at her sister, causing Rarity to cease her sewing.

She spun around in her stool, wearing a shocked look like a new hat.

"Sweetie Belle?"

Sweetie kept her cold glare as she locked eyes with her sister.

"You heard me. Why would you care about how me and Spike are doing?"

"Why? You're my little sister, and Spike is my friend. Why wouldn't I care?"

Suddenly Sweetie got up, taking on a defensive stance.

"Well isn't that a shock! Miss. Rarity, so lovely and fashionable! Miss. Rarity, the envy of every mare! Miss. Rarity, who every stallion wants, concerning herself with the meager lives of us little ponies! Well if you're sooo worried, then why don't you go talk to Spike!? I'm sure he would just love to talk to you!"

'SLAP!'

Sweetie's reeling was abruptly put to an end when Rarity's hoof came down to knock some sense into her.

Sweetie was frozen in shock from the strike to her cheek. In all her life Rarity had never raised a hoof to her. Not even the time when she used all her gems on a painting, and shank her sweater, and cleaned up her inspiration room.

Rarity stood over her, her chest out and a stern look on her face.

"I have NEVER held myself in a higher regard than others, and I will NOT be spoken to by my own sister when I'm trying to find out what is wrong with her."

Sweetie felt a swelling of rage, but it soon dwindled to feelings of self loathing and sadness. First she had driven away the one she loved with her selfish jealousy, and now she had barked like a rabid orthrose at her own sister.

Tears, hot and burning filled her eyes, her throat constricting with the tightness of her chest.

"I-I'm sorry….I'm so sorry, Rarity," she apologized, keeping her head down out of shame.

Rarity could never stay mad at her little Sweetie, and she instantly began to hate herself for hitting her.

"No, I'm sorry, Sweetie. Now, what on earth has you in such a tizzy?" She asked in a softer tone of voice.

Sweetie sniffed hard, trying to calm down a bit.

"S-Spike…broke up with me."

Instantly, Rarity's hooves held her cheeks, making her look up at a very serious Rarity.

"Did he hurt you!? Did he touch you inappropriately!? I WILL DESTROY HIM!"

Sweetie was….afraid, to say the least.

"N-no, I kinda, well…he heard me say that I thought he would leave me…for you."

Rarity stepped back a bit, her face saying 'uh-huh'.

"Y-you think that I'm the worst, don't you?"

Rarity levitated a chair over and took a seat.

"Well, I think that you're very foolish, Sweetie Belle, but that's besides the point. Let me ask you something, do you remember the first time you met Spike?"

Rarity took a seat on one of the manny fainting couches.

"Uh, I guess. You took me over to the library the day after Twilight moved in."

"That's right, and do you remember what happened next?"

Sweetie released a deep exhale, searching her memories of that day.

"Oh! Spike came down the stairs holding a stack of books, and if I remember correctly, he took one look at you and fell head over claws."

Rarity giggled.

"What's so funny?"

"Well, Sweetie, you're right about all but one thing."

"What?"

"Spike didn't look at me and fall over, he was looking at you."

The idea alone was ridiculous. Back then, Spike was so obsessed with Rarity that he would have plucked out his own scales if she had asked it.

"How could you tell? We were standing right next to each other."

Rarity gave her little sister a knowing smile.

"Believe me, Sweetie Belle, a lady can tell."

"Ok, so what? That doesn't mean that he doesn't still have feelings for you."

"Sweetie, a boy does not take a fall like that for just any girl. He fell hard like that for you."

It was both metaphorical, and literal, and suddenly Sweetie saw Spike in a new light, and herself. Sure he was gaga for Rarity when he was young, but hat was because he was young. She felt like the biggest fool in town at that moment. She had clung to her anxieties and worries like a bad security blanket, when all along Spike had done nothing but think about her.

"Oh Rarity, you're right. He's done nothing but stand by me, and all I did was drive him away."

Rarity ran a hoof over her soft poofey mane.

"Don't fret too much, Sweetie. I've made my fair share of mistakes when it comes to matters of the heart. What's important is that you admit your mistakes and make amens."

Sweetie lowered her head, rubbing a foreleg with the other.

"I…I can't," she stated defeatedly.

"Pardon?"

"How can I possibly make amens after what I've done?"

To this, Rarity chuckled.

"Oh, Sweetie. You're a girl, darling. All you have to do, is go galloping to Spike, give him a big hug, and apologize."

Sweetie lowered her ears, looking skeptical.

"And that'll work?"

"Ho-ho, Sweetie. Look who you're talking to."

The two sisters embraced in a big hug before Sweetie charged out the door to her destiny.

Rarity flipped her mane as she turned to continue her work. Opal shot her a mean mug from her basket, which Rarity noticed.

"What? I couldn't concentrate with her moping like that," she explained nonchalantly.

The prissy kitty continued to give her an ugly glare.

"Oh, come on! Those two not being together would be like a hoof knit scarf without a matching tiara, darling."

While Rarity made excuses to her cat like some crazy cat lady, (give her time), she couldn't help but feel melancholic at her own inner thoughts. The deep truth was, that Rarity did have feelings beyond friendship for Spike. She had since the day that he and Twilight walked up to her in the town hall.

But she had hidden those feeling down in her heart…for Sweetie Belle.

She had known since their first meeting that they were meant to be together. After Spike fell holding the books, Sweetie giggled, and Spike blushed with a very obvious look in his eyes.

She regretted nothing. She was happy that her little sister had found her special some drake.

Even if it did hurt sometimes.

Sweetie swiftly galloped through Ponyville, the sight of the castle in the distance as her goal. By the time she reached the front door at the trunk, she was sweaty and out of breath. She straightened up, using a hoof to straighten her mane before proceeding.

She knocked three times on the crystal petrified door, hopping that someone answered.

The sound of hooves approaching caused her heart to skip repeatedly.

She held her breath as the door slowly opened, revealing a purple alicorn.

"Why hello, Sweetie Belle," she greeted.

"Oh, hey, Twilight. I was, uh, wondering, if uhhh-"

"You were wondering if Spike was here?" The princess finished for her.

"Well….yes…"

The older mare couldn't help but smile at her.

"He's right upstairs, Sweetie."

"Thanks, Twilight!" She said as she rushed past Twilight and up the stairs.

She curved around corners and dashed down hallways till she came to Spike's door, thinking to herself "I rely gotta learn how to teleport".

With all the swagger of an action movie hero, she bucked the door open, a startled dragon standing from his bed and throwing something to the side.

"What the-Sweetie Belle?"

She charged, pouncing on him, wrapping her forelegs around his neck and her hind ones around his waist, plastering her mouth to his. The shocked dragon made small sounds of distress before using a claw to gently push her face away.

"Sweetie, what in the wide wide world of Equestria are you doing here!? I told you tha-"

"I know, I don't care! I'm sorry, Spike. I was just being a big jealous ninny. Please forgive me. I promise I'll never doubt you again."

Spike calmed a bit, seeing the sincerity in her eyes.

"Sweetie Belle, I………I missed you so much," he confessed, sounding like he was happier beyond words.

He kissed her back, using a claw to hold up the soft marshmallow butt he had been thinking about, and running the other claw through her bouncy curls. Sweetie melted into him, allowing her eyes to open slightly so she could see the adorable look on his face.

Out of the corner of her eye, she spotted what it was that he had been reading before she charged in.

It was a magazine. On the cover was a white unicorn wearing some very sexy black lingerie and presenting her uncovered rump.

The cover read "Pearl White Mares".

Instantly, Sweetie broke the kiss, looking from the magazine to Spike, who was blushing from embarrassment.

"Spike, were you reading….porn?"

"Uh, well….a guy gets lonely?"

She felt her cheeks blush, giving the big perv a big hug.

"That is the sweetest thing."

Spike scratched the back of his head in confusion.

"You're actually ok with it?"

Sweetie pulled back, giving him a big smile.

"Spikey, you're "reading" porno mags about white unicorns. You must have missed me a lot, you poor thing."

The both shared a silent moment before laughing together.

A smiling alicorn watched from a partly opened door at the heartwarming sight of two young teens in love. She slowly slid the door closed, turning to go get herself a cup of tea.

Spike went in to kiss Sweetie again, when she stopped him.

"What's wrong?" He asked, hoping that he hadn't done anything wrong.

Sweetie fidgeted a bit in his arms, looking shy about what she was about to ask.

"Um, Spike? S-since its been a while since we last were together, I was wondering if maybe I could, I mean, if it's ok-"

"Sweetie, if you want something, all you need to do is ask."

"Can I spend a little time with mister Belly Bell?" She asked, cheeks red and thighs pressed tightly together.

Spike chuckled a bit, nodding and filling Sweetie with joy. He laid siting up on his bed, while Sweetie positions herself over his round stomach.

"H-hello mister Belly Bell, I missed you," she said to his belly in a romantic voice.

"What's that? You missed me too? Oh, you are so sweet!"

She used a hoof to draw little circles on his chub, revealing in the delightful feeling of his scales. She leaned in close, nuzzling her cheek against her belly lover.

"Oh, mister Belly Bell, I love you too. Huh, a kiss? W-well, if that's what you want. Of course! I'll kiss you whenever and as much as you want."

She closed her eyes, planting her lips on the side of his belly, using her tongue in the kiss like she was kissing Spike. Sweetie had been suffering withdrawals from the time she spent without Spike's belly. Some nights she had dreams about it, having to change her sheets when she woke up.

Spike watched with a accepting smile from above, using his left claw to gently stroke her head, while the other moved slowly while she was distracted to cover up a packet he had on his desk.

The cover of the packet: 'Ponyville high school entrance exam. A study guide'.

Sweetie continued to kiss and pillow talk to her second lover, while Spike wondered how he survived so long without her.

Together again

"Don't move an inch, Sweetie. I don't want to miss," Spike whispered to the trembling girl laying on her back before him.

"O-ok, but please be careful, Spike. I'm really scared that this is gonna hurt," she squeaked, covering her mouth with her hooves.

Spike slowly moved forward, licking his scaly lips as he focused on his target. Sweetie wanted to close her eyes, but she wanted to look at the same time. After all, it was the first time, and a girl never forgets her first.

"I'm sliding it in, Sweetie."

"Be gentle, Spike…"

Sweetie felt it slide inside of her, and she couldn't hold it in.

"Ah~!" She cried out as the metal piercing slid inside the hole in her navel.

"Aaaand, we're done. See? That wasn't so bad," Spike said as he sat up with a smile.

Sweetie Belle sat up as well, checking the piercing and seeing that Spike had inserted it perfectly.

"Thanks a lot, Spikey. Magic is useful, but it gets a little tricky when dealing with little stuff. I'm surprised that your claws did such a good job."

Spike let his chest puff out, feeling prideful from the complement.

"Yeah-yeah, I am awesome, but I'm the one who should be surprised. Who would have thought that such a good, A+ student would get a belly piercing."

Sweetie blushed, puffing her cheeks and producing an adorable pouty face.

"So? You assume that I couldn't get a piercing? I do have an adventures side, you know," she protested, folding her fore legs and turning her head away.

"Pfffffffft! Sweetie, you nearly had a stroke that day you were two minutes late for the first bell. Sometimes I wonder if Twilight's tight-flankedness rubbed off on you during her little lessons."

Spike followed his observation with a series of hearty laughter, which only caused Sweetie's agitation to grow in her chest. Just when she was about to give him a shot in the chest, an idea came to her. She composed herself, flipping her mane and crouching down like a kitten.

"Well I may be a 'good girl' to everyone else, but you know me a little differently, don't you?" She purred, crawling up to Spike and wagging her tail seductively.

This took the big lerpy dragon out of his laughter, and put his attention on the girl currently doing a bang up job in seducing him. Sweetie giggled, fluttering her lashes and crawling up Spike's body, using his belly as a comfy cushion. She propped her head up on one of her hooves as the other drew circles on Spike's scaly chest.

"Of course I'll only show my 'bad girl' side to you, Spikey boo. Unless of course, you don't like my bad side," she emphasized by giving Spike big, puppy dog eyes.

Spike gulped loudly, suddenly feeling his mouth go dry.

"Uh, well, I wouldn't say that I dislike it….I guess," he replied, suddenly sounding shy.

Sweetie wrapped her hind legs around Spike's waist, squeezing him tightly.

"Well, you know there's only one cure for a bad girl, right?" She asked, insinuating something naughty.

"Oh? A-and, um, what's that?"

Sweetie moved in close so that her mouth was an inch away from Spike's ear.

"A spanking of course," she whispered.

A sudden increase in heart rate caused blood to surge through Spike's body, carrying with it large amounts of adrenalin. His eyes became slits, his mouth flooded with saliva, and every muscle in his body became tight as knots. Suddenly, Sweetie Belle was indistinguishable from a large gem, and all he could think of was devouring her.

Sweetie felt something hot poking her stomach.

"Is that a sapphire, or are you just happy to see me?"

But Spike couldn't answer. He grabbed her up, turning around and pining her to her bed. Sweetie's eyes widened as she took in the sight of this new Spike.
His eyes were wild, his mouth open, revealing his glistening sharp teeth. His forked tongue slithered outside his mouth, and his muscles were all flexing, making him look more big and imposing than Bulk.

Her first instinct should have been to scream, but she didn't, nor did she want to, that would come latter. She realized that she may have pushed him too far, but she didn't care. Thoughts of how he was about to ravish her were the only thing she was thinking of. Would it hurt? Would she bleed? Would he be mad or grossed out if she did?

From the looks of him, it didn't look like he was going to care, and neither did Sweetie. It was natural for a guy to want to throw down the girl he loves and toy with every inch of her, and while she was very nervous, she couldn't help but want that too.

She closed her eyes, turning her face away.

"J-just don't hurt me too bad," she cooed to whoever was listening.

She suddenly felt his hot, slick tongue make contact with her collar bone and work its way up her tender neck, over her soft, marshmallow cheek, finally stopping at her ear lobe.

His left claw moved down her side, suddenly gripping her flank, the tips of his claws slightly digging into her rump.

"A-AH!" She moaned from the sensation on her butt.

Spike silenced her squeals by locking his mouth to hers and wrapping her tongue up with his own like a constrictor. Sweetie's muffled moans filled the room, growing louder as Spike groped her harder. His legs pried open her hind legs, getting ready to complete his conquest.

"Here he comes! Don't scream-don't scream-don't scream."

'Ding dong,' came the door bell.

Spike reared his head up, bumping it on a shelf and knocking over a vase of flowers. The cold water inside spilled on his head where it sizzled from the heat and broke his feverish lust. He sputtered and shook his head around as if woken from a deep sleep.

"Wha? Huh? What happened?" He asked, looking around before his eyes fell of the pony under him with her legs open.

Sweetie scrambled to cover herself, realizing in a flash that this was the original Spike.

"S-Sweetie Belle!? Whaa, did I do something!?"

"N-NO! I mean, you kinda….It doest matter. What in Equestria happened to you?"

Spike wiped some of the water from his face, taking a breath to compose himself.

"I think…my dragon greed boiled over."

"Dragon greed?"

Spike used a claw to nervously scratch the back of his head.

"Yeah, I dont really understand it myself, but basically when my inner greed rears up I loose sight of myself and turn into someone else."

While she didn't understand it fully, it made sense to Sweetie. She had heard about when it happened to him some years ago.

"Something must have made me feel greed. What was it, Sweetie?"

Her cheeks turned red. She couldn't tell him that her sexy display had pushed him to become a sex crazed Komodo dragon. She quickly scrambled for something to tell him.

"Uhhhhhh-"

'Knock kncock.'

"Sweetie Beeeeeelle. Is Spike still here? He has a visitor," came Pearl's voice from the other side of the closed door.

"Uh, yes mom! He'll be right down~!" She called to her mother.

She looked to Spike, who shrugged, not knowing who would be coming to see him at his girlfriend's house. Sweetie gasped, remembering the sexy jewelry in her belly button.

"Spike! I need you to take this out of me!"

Spike jumped a bit, quickly scrambling to Sweetie's navel. Sweetie leaned back, keeping her hind legs closed. Spike paused in his un-doing of her piercing, smelling a strong, yet strangely familiar scent on her.

"Uh, are you sure we didn't….?"

Sweetie sighed, suddenly feeling her embarrassment return.

"T-trust me. If we had, I probably wouldn't be able to talk right now."

Despite himself, Spike couldn't help but feel his masculine pride swell like a balloon.

Spike and Sweetie went to the front door, opening it to find a light orange filly with a puffy, carrot colored mane. Her bright blue eyes glistened with the youthful exuberance of…….youth.

"Pumpkin Cake, what a surprise," Sweetie said to the cute little one.

"Hi Sweetie Belle! Hi Spiiiiiiiiike," she greeted, sounding more infatuated with her greeting to Spike.

Sweetie rolled her eyes. She had known for a while that the filly had a little crush on her dragon. And no, she didn't feel threatened by that.

"I haven't seen you since Pinkie's ' random excuse to throw a party party'. How do you like being a fifth grader? Sweetie asked, trying to break the filly from gazing a hole in her drakefriend.

"It's ok. Pound has been acting like a jerk ever since he met his stupid guy friends," she admitted, sounding frustrated.

Pound and Pumpkin had been the most inseparable twins. They played together, they slept together, they even ate from the same plate.

Spike chuckled.

"I went through the same thing. He's just at an age where he wants to hang with his boys. But don't worry. You're his sister, and there'll always be a place for you."

Pumpkin swooned, feeling more taken by Spike simply talking than the wise advice he was giving. Spike picked up on the vibes she was throwing (the heart shaped bubbles floating off of her being a big give away). He looked away, scratching the back of his head.

Sweetie looked on with a blank stare, using her horn to pop one of the heart bubbles.

"EH-HEM! Was there something you wanted Pumpkin?" She asked, trying not to sound too annoyed.

"Huh? Oh, yeah! Spike, I wanted to return a history book to Princess Twilight."

"Then why didn't you go to the castle?"

"Meh, auntie Pinkie said that you would be here, and I thought 'save myself a trip'," the filly explained.

"Aaaaaaand, how did Pinkie Pie know that I was here?"

"How does auntie Pinkie know half the things that she does?"

"Good point," Spike and Sweetie said in unison.

Pumpkin took out the book with her magic and passed it to Spike.

"Well, I'd love to stay and talk, but mom needs me to help with the muffins…again," she groaned.

"Is Derpy off the wagon again?"

"With a passion," she said simply.

Spike and Sweetie waved good bye to Pumpkin Cake, who was moving her flank a little more than was necessary. Sweetie looked up at Spike, who was smiling as he watched the underage foal strut off. She got a wicked idea to tease her perverted boyfriend.

"Soooooo, Spike, is that what you're into?"

Spike snapped out of his thoughts.

"What?"

Sweetie dawned a haughty look.

"Honestly, staring at a child like that. Do I need to contact the authorities?"

"What, Pumpkin? No way. I was just thinking that it was kinda funny," he replied.

"Funny? She's practically proposing to you."

"No no. It's just that it seems like only yesterday that she and Pound Cake were running around in diapers. Now they're in school. Applejack is having a baby….and I'm still re-shelving books," he said, sounding a little disappointed in himself.

Sweetie suddenly felt bad for teasing him. As his girlfriend, she should have known that perverted stuff wasn't the only thing on his mind (for the most part).
She wrapped her forelegs around his waist, nuzzling his ribs.

"Don't be such a big silly, Spike. I'm proud of you no matter what. As long as you don't start hooking."

Spike chuckled, kneeling down to hug her back.

"I don't think I would get many "clients"."

"Don't be so pessimistic. I could make a killing if I started tricking your sweet, scaly ass out around town," she teased with a giggle.

They both laughed, but quickly grew silent as they looked at each other. Spike gently ran his claws down the side of her mane, tussling her curls.

"I love you…Sweetie Belle," he said to her in that mature, sexy voice that always made Sweetie feel weak in the knees.

"Shut up and kiss me, ho."

She closed her eyes. Spike placed a claw under her chin, tilting her head up as he leaned in to kiss her. He was just about to make contact, when he caught sight of the clock tower.

"Holy wow! Is that the time!?" He blurted out, causing Sweetie to jump.

"I'm sorry Sweetie, but we gotta call it a day here."

Sweetie looked over her shoulder at the tower.

"Call it a day? But it's only five-thirty."

"I know-I know, but I-I-Ieeeeeee-I mean, you need to get ready for school tomorrow," he explained, obviously hiding something.

Sweetie tilted her head to the side confusedly.

"School, really? You just said I'm an A+ student, and it's not like I'm going to bed anytime soon."

"Yeah, but….I don't want to distract you. Twilight's always saying that a studious student's mind should be on…studi…ing."

Sweetie cocked an eye brow.

"Don't take this the wrong way, Spikey, but you sound like an old stallion."

"Only because I care about your future. You're smart, you're talented. Take this old stallion's advice, Sweetie."

Sweetie sighed. No matter what she said, Spike could be very stubborn.

"Ok, Spike. I have some work to do anyways," she conceded.

"There's the good girl I fell for," he said, giving her a kiss on the base of her horn.

Sweetie dawned a wicked little grin, using her magic to pull his head close so that her mouth was once agin next to his ear.

"I'll save the 'bad girl' for next time," she teased, garnishing her words with a nip to his soft ear flap.

Spike blushed as he stumbled goofily from the house. As Sweetie closed the door to her room, she contemplated on what Spike said, and the meaning behind his words. It was clear that he wanted her to succeed, but that was because he thought that he would fail.

She had talked to him bout it in the past. She wanted him to go to school. Not just because she wanted to attend classes with him, but because she knew that he had so much potential.

The problem was that he had been assisting Twilight ever since he was old enough to sort. He was comfortable in what he did, but it was also holding him back. But that wasn't the only reason. Spike never admitted it, but he was at times uncomfortable with being a dragon. He feared that because he was so different that no one outside of those that knew him would accept him, and because of that he had resined himself to being Twilight's assistant for life.

He didn't say it out loud, but Sweetie heard it loud and clear.

"Be all that you can be, for both of us."

Sweetie slumped. She knew that she was going to have to have a talk with him about the topic, but for now she had other business to attend to. Tomorrow was monday, and the first day that she was going to introduce Silver Spoon as a new friend to Apple Bloom and Scootaloo.

Sweetie had assured Silver that the others would accept her, now all she had to do was make it happen.

~Latter, at the Castle of Friendship~

"Ok, Spike. Who was the second ambassador to the griffon empire after senator Ruffle?" Twilight asked her assistant as she sat behind her desk.

"Uhhhhhhh…I know this….senator Maryweather?"

"Oh, I'm sorry…that is…..correct!"

Spike sighed, slumping back in his chair.

"Very good, Spike. Though I'm not surprised, considering who your tutor is," Twilight stated with nerd like pride.

"Thanks again for the help, Twi. I don't know why, but I feel so nervous."

Twilight giggled to herself as she arranged some flash cards in front of her.

"Well you shouldn't be, as long as you don't blank on the day of the exam. But I still don't understand. I gave you your diploma years ago. Why the sudden desire to attend school?"

"It's uh…..complicated," he explained.

Twilight smirked.

"Uh-huh. Would this "complication" have anything to do with a certain white pony? Does that ring any *bells*?"

Spike suddenly looked like he was hiding a play mare as he quickly stood up and moved towards the door.

"Uh……………NO!" He blurted, quickly exiting the room and shutting the door behind him.

"Ah, to be young again," Twilight said to herself

Twilight giggled once more before sighing nostalgically. As she was putting the flash cards away, her eyes fell on a stack of old letters, all from the same stallion. Her smile quickly turned to a more somber expression.

It had been six years to the day since he was killed in action defending the crystal empire from a faction of changeling rebels.

He not only gave his life to protect the crystal ponies, but also Twilight herself.

Even after all these years, the thing she regretted most wasn't just his passing, but the feelings that she never got to share with him. She was younger back then, and it felt like there was all the time in the world. What she wouldn't give for just one chance to tell him everything she wanted to back then.

But Twilight smiled.

Yes, she was sad that he was gone, but she had learned a lot from Pinkie Pie. One of the most important things, was to be happy that she was able to have such feelings, even if they were sad ones.

She smiled at the stack of letters, kissing them gently before placing them back in the drawer. The princess of friendship then put her fore hooves together on top of the desk, resting her chin atop them and looking at the door.

"He's gonna change the world. As long as he doesn't oversleep."

New friends

Spike laid sleeping soundly on his big, comfy bed s the early sunlight crested over the horizon, creating a dim twilight within his crystal room. His door opened slowly, followed by the dainty stepping of hooves along the floor.

A sneaky little teen mare approached where the dragon slept on his back, occasionally murmuring in his sleep. The young pony carefully climbed atop the snoozing drake, inching her way up his body till she was face to face with him.

Most ponies would shiver at the idea of approaching a sleeping dragon, but for Sweetie Belle it was as natural as breathing.

"Spiiiiiike," she whispered to her sleeping boyfriend.

"Spiiiiiiiiiiiiiike, wake up, sexy belly."

"Mummm, hummm, huh? Sweetie Belle?" He asked groggily.

"Yes it's me, my sleeping prince."

"'Yaaaaaaawn…W-what's up? Is Equestria in danger again?"

"Tee hee, no sweet heart. Today is the day that I introduce Silver Spoon to Apple Bloom and Scootaloo as our new friend, and I was thinking that you might want to wish me luck."

"Uh, yeah yeah. That's nice, Sweetie. Just don't eat to many of those deviled eggs. I think the mayo is bad."

Sweetie could see that it was pointless to try and talk to him. She got a funny idea and jiggle her body slightly atop him.

"Ya know, being in this state, I could take advantage of you," she whispered.

"Do what you like….Just don't wake me. And how about you make daddy some breakfast. Eggs…'yawn'...extra crispy hash browns."

Sweetie puffed her cheeks in aggravation.

"Make your own damn breakfast!" She yelled.

Spike continued to sleep. Sweetie sighed, rolling her eyes with a smile. She leaned over him, planting a light kiss on his cheek. She turned to leave, but only made it a couple of steps before she bit her lip and looked sideways. His belly was sticking up, bathed in the low light of dawn.

To Sweetie Belle it was like seeing a shimmering silver idol, except it was a pudgy belly on a dragon.

She flipped her mane as she put on a sultry expression, her hips swaying as she sauntered over to the sexy mound of scales.

"Well good morning to you too, Mr. Belly," she greeted her second lover.

"What's that? Y-you think that I look lovely? No way. I didn't even do my mane properly this morning. I must look awful," she commented as she blushed.

"Huh? You think that I look beautiful no matter what time of day it is? Oh Mr. Belly, you always know exactly what to say to make me feel special."

Her eyes twinkled as she gazed with love at the pudg.

"What? You want to do what? M-Mr. Belly, I have to get to school. I don't have time to do…that. Even though I really want to. Well, I suppose that a kiss wouldn't hurt."

Sweetie closed her eyes as she leaned in and placed her lips to the side of his belly, gently cooing as she raised her hind leg.

Silver Spoon stood alone outside the gates of the school, nervously waiting for Sweetie Belle to arrive. Maybe it was her years of being the hench filly to a bully, perhaps it was the butterflies in her stomach, but she just couldn't get rid of the anxious feeling she had.

Thoughts swirled in her head that this was all an elaborate trap set up by her former victim to get even.

"No!" She echoed inside her head.

She looked into Sweetie Belle's eyes, and there wasn't even a trace of deception or falsehood. She was tired of being alone. Tired of spending weekends and holidays in her room staring at the walls. The idea of having a life and doing things with others did make her more nervous than a colt in a lingerie shop, but she needed a change.

"Silver Spoon, good morning!"

Silver turned her head toward the voice, smiling at the sight of the unicorn. She waved, trying to hide how nervous she was.

"H-hi Sweetie Belle," she greeted, trying to sound normal.

"Are you ready for today?"

"Well, uh…yeah, of course," Silver replied.

Sweetie could sense her nervousness, and couldn't deny her own trepidation. Sweetie put her hoof to Silver's shoulder with a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, I'll be right by your side."

Silver smiled as best she could, nodding her affirmation. The two girls shared a hug before going their ways to class. As the day passed, Silver Spoon couldn't help but keep looking to the clock on the wall. Every tick of the second hand seemed to take an eternity, making the minutes even more agonizing. She took a deep breath to try and calm herself.

"You're going to do fine. Sweetie Belle promised that. Just be nice and whatever you do…..don't be mean."

A loud ringing sounded, signifying that it was lunch time. Silver Spoon jumped in her seat, her heart nearly bursting from the shock. She collected herself and secured her saddle bag. With another deep breath she walked out into the hall and to the place she was to meet with Sweetie.

Apple Bloom sat in the courtyard of the school trying her best to stay awake as Scootaloo carried on with her story about her practice yesterday. The teenage earth pony was used to boring goings on, being in the FFA, but Scootaloo could really go on.

"So then, I swooped in and snatched the ball right out from under her! She thought that she could out maneuver me? Who dose that chick think I-"

"Oh look, here come Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom exclaimed, elated that there was a distraction from Scoot's story.

The two girls looked up at their friend, but quickly became confused at the sight of the pony walking beside her. It had been some time since they had seen hide or hoof of Silver Spoon, and seeing her now aroused different emotions in both girls. Apple Bloom raised an eye brow that would do her big sister proud, while Scootaloo glared daggers upon the girl who was walking with her friend.

"Uh, hey…Sweetie Belle," Apple Bloom greeted, not quite sure what was going on.

"Hey girls," Sweetie greeted, trying not to sound nervous. "You both remember Silver Spoon, don't you?"

"How could we not?" Scootaloo replied, sounding nothing like the rambunctious girl she was.

"Well, she has something she would like to say."

Sweetie stepped out of the way, allowing a shy, grey earth pony to step forward. Silver Spoon could feel their eyes on her, even though she wasn't really looking. All at once it was like her past deeds were gripping tightly around her throat. She swallowed hard, opening her mouth to speak.

"I-I just wanted to say that…."

"Say what!? Sorry? I know it wasn't to say that!" Scootaloo exclaimed, her eyes a light with anger.

The three other girls all looked with shock at the fuming pegasus.

"Scootaloo, you've got it wrong. Silver Spoon isn't the same as she used to be," Sweetie defended, garnering a venomous glare from her friend.

"How can you believe her, Sweetie Belle? How can you fall for her act!?"

Scootaloo's insinuation that she was some gullible fool hit Sweetie harder than a speeding train, and the unicorn's expression turned to one of equal anger.

"Who are you? And what have you done with my friend?" Sweetie asked the very different pegasus.

"Scuse me?"

"When did you become so bitter? That's not the Scootaloo I grew up with."

"It happened around the time that your new friend and Diamond Tiara convinced me that I was no good because I couldn't fly!"

Silver Spoon stepped up to draw Scootaloo's attention.

"Scootaloo, I'm so sorry. I was mixed up back then and I-"

"I DONT WANNA HEAR IT!" Scootaloo yelled at a volume that genuinely frightened her oldest friends.

Scootaloo's eyes gleamed with rage. A rage that made Silver Spoon recoil in fear that the pegasus would turn violent toward her. She took a step toward Silver Spoon, but her way was quickly blocked by Apple Bloom, who stopped her with a firm stance.

"Get out of my way, Apple Bloom! I'm gonna-"

"No you aint!" The earth pony stated, challenging Scootaloo to make a move.

"Now you're defending her? After all they did to you?"

"They did a lot ta me, yes. But ah was raised to believe a certain way, and part a that way is ta forgive somepony who's apologizin."

Scootaloo fumed as she and Apple Bloom continued to exchange sparks.

"Apple Bloom…I swear to you I'll-"

"Yer gonna what?" Apple Bloom asked, pressing her forehead hard against Scootaloo's.

The two pressed against each other for what felt like forever to Sweetie Belle, who was on the verge of tears.

With a grunt of anger, Scootaloo slid her forehead off of Apple Bloom's and stormed off in the oposit direction. Before she was out of ear shot, she turned her head back to the three.

"Don't cry to me later…" She hissed before she was gone.

Sweetie Belle collapsed onto her haunches, having lost the strength to stand, tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Sweetie Belle! Are you alright?" Apple Bloom asked as she rushed to her friend's side.

"I-I'm so sorry," she stuttered.

"No, Sweetie, I'm the one who should be sorry," Silver Spoon interjected, lowering her head in shame. "I did all this. I was foolish to think that I could ask for forgiveness after all the horrible things that I've done. Now I've driven a wedge between you guys."

"All right, that's enough a the pity party y'all," Apple Bloom interrupted.

"Sweetie Belle, ah expect nothin less from you ta forgive Silver Spoon and to want ta make her our friend. Twilight would be proud. And Silver Spoon, y'all showed a lot ah integrity, apologizin and all. And don't ya worry nothin bout Scoots. Let er fume a while and she'll come round."

Sweetie snorted back her tears, looking up at her friend and smiling.

"Thanks, Apple Bloom," she said, pulling the earth pony into a hug, which she returned.

Though her words were a great comfort, Sweetie was only putting on a painted smile. She had never seen Scootaloo look so angry, and she trembled in fear on the inside at the possibility that she may loose one of her best friends.

~Latter at the castle~

"And that's what happened. What am I going to do, Spike?"

Spike looked on at his girlfriend, absorbing the story she had told him about what happened. She sat at the edge of his bed like she had many times in the past, but he had never seen her like this. She was trembling, and her eyes were red from crying. In all the time he had known her he had only seen her as the happy, optimistic girl who always did her best and stuck to her morals. But now she looked so…fragile. Like one strong wind would scatter her like sand.

He scooted over and turned her to face him. She kept her gaze down, too ashamed of herself to make eye contact with him.

"Look at me, Sweetie Belle."

Slowly she raised her head, feeling frozen as soon as she looked into his eyes.

"We've known each other for a long time now, but do you know what I know most about you?"

"W-what?" She asked as she sniffed and wiped away a stray tear.

"Everything," he stated simply, flashing her one of his goofy grins.

"You're kind to strangers and little ponies, you put others before yourself even if it hurts or inconveniences you. Not to mention that you do that cute little thing with your nose when you're happy but don't want to show it."

Sweetie smiled, placing her hoof on the back of Spike's claw, which he took and held.

"Don't let one little setback discourage you. Swallow those tears, get back on your hooves and find a way to work it out."

Sweetie smiled big as she threw her forelegs around her dragon's middle, nuzzling him gently.

"Do you know what I know most about you, Spike?"

"What's that?" He asked, stroking her mane.

"Whenever it feels like I'm spiraling out of control, you're always there to catch me. Just like my big, green safety net."

Spike chuckled.

"More like a big fat pillow," he countered, pointing at his belly.

"Spiiiiiiiike~!" She whined in the most adorable voice.

"Don't bring up Mr. Belly right now. Are you trying to get me all hot and bothered?" She asked with a little cheek pout.

"Only every second of every day," he replied.

The couple started laughing happily, a sound which warmed the heart of the purple alicorn who walked by at that moment.

"And don't ya worry nothin bout Scoots. Let er fume a while and she'll come round."

Apple Bloom's words resonated inside Silver's head for the rest of the day, but she felt no comfort from them. She found herself walking over to the air ball field to see Scootaloo.

"What am I doing? What am I even going to say to her?" She asked herself as she entered the stands.

The field was a buzz with the team's after school practice. Silver sat down on the bleachers, spotting the orange pegasus in the middle field. Despite the feelings that were bothering her, she was absolutely mesmerized from watching Scootaloo. It was like watching an eagle in flight. She zipped around like a dragon fly, a look of fierce determination on her face as she hit the ball and defended her team's end field.

One of the other players got hit hard by the ball and started to fall, but Scootaloo swooped in and caught her. The other players all landed to help their team mate.

Silver Spoon had known Scootaloo for a long time (though not personally), but seeing her in this light made Silver feel…giddy. She waited till she saw Scootaloo and the other players start making their way to the girl's locker room before she came down from the bleachers.

Scootaloo spotted the gray girl out of the corner of her eye, stopping in her tracks and staring her down.

"You coming, Scoots?" Asked one of the other girls.

"Be there in a sec," she replied.

The two stood facing each other, the orange glow of the sunset setting a somber mood.

"Haven't you done enough for one day?" Scootaloo asked.

Silver looked down, scuffing her fore hoof on the grass.

"I wanted to apologize to you."

"You already did, remember?"

"I mean…for today."

Scootaloo raised a brow.

"Come again?"

"It was selfish of me to just expect for you to forgive me for all I've done. So…if you want, I'll stay away from you and the others from now on. It's up to you."

Scootaloo was about to say 'buck yes', but something made her pause. In a moment of clarity, she saw what a heel she was being. Sweetie wasn't just a friend to Scootaloo, she was somepony she admired. For whatever reason, she thought that Silver Spoon was worthy of being forgiven, and if she was willing to give her a shot, then it would be foolish not to.

"No…well, maybe I can trust you…for now."

Scootaloo followed with a subtle smile. One that caused a similar one on Silver Spoon.

"Are you sure?" Silver asked.

"Nnnnope," Scoots added.

They laughed together briefly. A light wind blew in, causing a red ball to tap Silver on the leg.

"Oh hey, here's the ball," she said, turning to the side to pick it up.

"Oh, I'll get it," Scootaloo replied as she moved in to get the ball.

The two bumped heads, which caused them to lift up. What followed was the most confusing and awkward moment in both of their lives. The slight pain in Silver's head was blurred out as she realized that her lips were pressed lightly against the surprisingly soft ones of the pegasus before her.

In a flash, Silver's head was spinning as she lost her first kiss. And not just to a girl, but a really athletic and hot girl too!

Their lip contact ended swiftly, both girls looking at each other without knowing what to say.

Scootaloo gulped.

"Uh…can I take you out for pizza some time?…heh heh."
