What would happen if the ponies of Ponyville met the strange and creatures called Gobbos and Croc?

It's been six months since Discord's return, and defeat, the Elements of Harmony and have settled and all is peaceful. Until the bit of chaos magic left over sucks the peaceful King Rufus the Intolerant (His full name is King Rufus the Lactose Intolerant) and his Gobbos from their island homes. This also brings their legendary hero, Croc, with them.

Characters from the video game, Croc-Legend of the Gobbos.

The Great Gobbo Rescue

Prologue

The Remenent of Discord's Magic

The Elements of Harmony have defeated Discord and reversed his Chaos. His form once again that of a harmless statue, Discord was moved back to his place in the royal garden. But when the chaos was presumed gone, nopony could be more wrong. A small bit of the Everfree Forest was affected by the chaotic magic of Discord, and it remained there.

Discord was defeated six months ago. Over the six months without it's master, the chaos magic formed into a dimensional portal, and now it will change the course of the lives of millions across Equestria and destroy the world on the other end.

Meanwhile-The gobbo's islands

King Rufus, king of the gobbos, has just been saved by his adopted son, a crocodile named Croc, and the gobbos are now safe from the dantinis, the roving gang of bandits, and there now deceased leader, Baron Dante. The gobbos have put up a statue in honor of the legendary hero, Croc. All is well, until a large storm appears in the middle of the four islands of the gobbos. The storm grows to a dangerous size, soon growing enough to engulf the four islands. As the storm grows still, the islands are destroyed. Soon, the storm covers this whole world, destroying it. It is no more, but the beings of the planet live on.

The Everfree Catastrophe

If it wasn't for the tiny thuds coming from the direction of her door, Zecora would have finished her latest brew for Twilight. The Zebra opened her door to greet her unexpected guest.

"Hello to the surprise guest who has arrived," Zecora opened her eyes to see nopony outside her door or in the open area outside her hut, "Or have I been sleep deprived?" Zecora asked herself, her rhyming speech not giving for a moment.

She was about to close the door when a small chirp, or was it a squeak, caught her attention. She looked down to find a small brown creature shivering near her hooves. Not new to having strange visitors, Zecora bent her head down to look at the creature up close, finding a long tail with a large fluffy end and large eyes staring back at her.

"Hello, small and furry creature of brown.

What has scared you and made you so down?"

The creature, having seemed to understand what Zecora said, stopped shaking and looked up at the zebra again. "I-it came out of nowhere. It took us all away and threw us apart! Help us, please! I need help!" It said in a small voice, even without a noticeable mouth.

Zecora's expression deadpanned, having only gathered it needed help and there were more of his kind.

"What did this, I must ask.

So that I can help you with this task."

"A storm of pink clouds and brown rain!" The creature exclaimed, hopping up and down, "I need to find Croc and the King! They'll know what to do!"

Zecora was a bit frightened by this news of a strange colored storm, as it matched the strange storm that happened when Discord had his short reign. Zecora grabbed the little creature's tail in her mouth and flung it onto her back. She then took off galloping, needing to get to Twilight as soon as possible.

"This is a cause for alarm.

For I fear this may cause us harm.

Little creature, covered in fur.

What are you? If I may infer."

The creature, having been taken by surprise, clung to the zebra's striped mane while it answered, "I am a gobbo."

Zecora put the creatures species into the part of her brain that was for her to immediately talk to Twilight about, as she had never heard of a 'gobbo'. It could have been a creature only from the nearby mountains and it might have been flung from its home by Discord. Regardless of where it was from, it needed help and to inform Twilight of the storm, and it needed to do that as soon as possible!

The dantinis were sent everywhere! But only three stayed together after the storm that was tearing the islands apart and sent them all to this strange forest. All the paths were straight and the trees were all leaves and no wood, not even crooked, they were a bunch of boxes. The fire, ice and red dantinis were about to give up on finding a way to the other dantinis when they found an open, err...GARDEN! That's the word. Filled with strange stone statues all spread and labeled, not that the dantinis could read. They saw a statue of a strange being made of different animals with a look of terror on its face, and they seemed to be drawn to it. The fire dantini then tripped and burst into flames, bumping into the ice dantini, who nearly melted and jumped away into the red dantini, who promptly got half of his body frozen. The three dantinis then began to fight and bicker, not noticing a strange red spot on the statue that seemed to beat.

The three stopped when they heard a chuckle that came from the statue, making them turn. The statue was starting to crack and break, showing the dantinis that it wasn't just a statue. They grinned, having had their first good idea in years, or rather it was a wicked idea. They all started destroying the garden, setting fire to the 'trees' and freezing the statues, until a large boom was heard and the former statue stretched out its arms.

It looked over the the former garden, "My, what delicious chaos! Who is responsible for this?" The Statue asked not noticing the three tiny figures before him until the flaming one of them answered in a strange and gravely voice, "We, the dantinis, did this."

"Yes, to free you." The blue one said, seeming to freeze the air around him to prove his point.

The red one kneeled and bowed his head, "New baron of the dantinis, we are yours to command."

The former statue floated up a bit, before saying, "Baron Discord, I like it!" Discord lowered his head down to the level of his three new soldiers, "Now, there are more of you right?"

"But of course, but we were all seperated." The blue one said, obviously in a panic.

"I'm glad there are more of you, because we need to round them up, and with the god of chaos as your baron, we'll find them in no time," Discord said wickedly, getting the dantinis to laugh evilly.
