> Gamers on Equis: GAME RESET > by Opius Malikai > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Well This is New - MK - Scorpion Chapter 1(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I honestly don't know how I got here. I thought as I looked around at the forest. Drinking? No I don't go to parties anymore. Smoking? No, I still don't go to parties. Am I dead? I might as well have been the way I felt. It had been an hour since I had woken up in this forest. The forest itself was thick but not as thick as some of the forests I live near back home. At the same time that the area seemed light it also seemed dark, as if this was a dark area in a cartoon. The particular area I was in was a clearing with trees that were taller than an average Oak tree. Or at least I guessed, I didn't know how tall an oak tree was. Aside from the thoughts of how I was going to get home I was also thinking a variety of other things. Like, why do the trees have faces? Why is it dark but not that dark at the same time? And most predominantly, what was I wearing? Well I knew WHAT I was wearing, but I couldn't figure out why I was wearing it. Or where I got it. I'll try to describe what I see to the best of my abilities. It was very amour-like but not heavy armour, with plates that ran all over the outfit which reminded me a lot of the carapace of a scorpion. It seemed that I could still bend it and it felt like it could be used by someone acrobatic. What I was wearing was yellow and black and it had a very intimidating look. I could see if I bent my head behind me that there were two stingers sticking up. There was skulls on my knees and on a belt that straps that came down from my shoulders where two shoulder pads that looked similar to a scorpion rested. I also had a mask that looked similar to the pattern a scorpion has. Basically I looked like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. After figuring this out I decided to find out if I was similar to how he looks under the mask. I felt for my face but noticed that my fingers went through where my eyes should be. The resulting freak out lasted 20 minutes and scared the hell out of a few birds. Eventually I was able to calm down enough to put on the mask. My survival instincts were telling me to find people who could help me. So here I am in the present walking through the dark not dark forest with my mask on again looking for some sign of civilization. Along the way I tested out a few things and found out a couple things. Such as that the two Ninjatō on my back were real and were extremely sharp. This was a very real dream. That's what I was thinking anyways. There was no way this could be real it seemed like some story. It might of even been a story I would read. As I looked around at my surroundings I saw that the trees still had those faces and I could feel myself being watched. Normally I would be fearful but instead I could feel that all around they were too afraid of me. Wait a second, how long have I been walking? I instinctively looked down at my wrist only to find that my watch was gone. Oh yeah... Looking at the sun I noticed it had moved since I had first gotten here. I saw which way it had gone and assumed that that that way was West so I had the choice to go North or South. I decided that North would be the better choice as South seemed to lead deeper into the forest. I turned and started to make my way that way before hearing something. It was a roar. From behind me. I slowly turned around and saw a... a thing. I had absolutely no idea what this could be called. It was a lion but instead of a lion tail it had a giant scorpion tail and had giant bat-like wings coming from it's back. The beast was twice my height and was absolutely huge. It towered over me glaring down at me with it's maw open, revealing a large set of teeth. Oh wait now I remember it's called a Manticore from Myth-ROAR! It's roar was enough to blast me back and make marks on the ground. It then ran at me and would have pounced on to me if I had not thrown it over my head. "So it's a fight you want?"I spoke My voice actually sounds like Scorpion!, "It's a fight you'll get!" And I ran at him pulling out my two swords. He attempted to swat me away but out of instinct I jumped over and slashed out with my sword cutting him in the eye and part way down the nose. I didn't let up and began to keep slashing at him. As I was slashing I notice it moving it's paws to try and smash me. I held both of my swords to the side as it slammed it's paws straight into my swords. It howled in pain as the swords pierced straight through. I tore the swords out of it's paws and brought them down through it's paws keeping them pinned there. Running up I started to punch it, my fists starting to move faster and faster. I landed a hard punch onto the side of it's face and felt bone's break I stepped onto it's nose and brought my fists down onto it's head and felt more bones break I jumped down landing a few more punches until I finally shot an uppercut powerful enough to launch it's whole body backwards tearing it's paws in two as the swords held their ground. I heard in my head(at least I hoped it was in my head) a classic voice say "Finish Him!" I took off my mask and breathed in and blew as a long stream of fire bathed the manticore with fire as it's fur and skin started to burn away. It howled in pain as it finally died it's muscle, bones, and organs all that was left. "Fatality!" I couldn't help myself so I said it, "Toasty!" ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ A few hours later as it started to get darker I was still walking. Aside from the fact that a manticore had just attacked me I noticed that there was something peculiar about this place. I was still thinking about how I even got here. It might be best to think clearly and concisely about what I last remember... I had been just playing games for the night and I was also talking with my friends on skype. I had been playing Mortal Kombat on the Xbox 360 when the question whether or not we would like to be in our game came up. Of course I said that I wouldn't want to be in the game. But my friends then asked whether I would be in it if I could be Scorpion which I actually considered it. Before we could continue the power to my building went out the second time that day. I sighed and turned on a flashlight to get a look at my watch. It was one in the morning so I decided to go to bed I was about to get in bed before I noticed that the light on the Xbox was still on. 'What the hell?' I thought and went over to turn it off. Before I made it over there the Xbox light flashed red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple then white flashed my vision. I shook my head before noticing that there was a path. Looking around I saw where the path was heading and saw it going down and near a cottage near the woods. I also noticed around me that instead of the dark trees there was much lighter trees and even birds chirping. Hope that they don't react to scared as I began to walk towards it. > I'm Not A Monster I Swear! - SSB - Bowser Chapter 1(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I woke up groggily. Reaching to the side I tried to turn off my alarm. In this moment I realized two things; One, My alarm wasn't sounding, Two, I wasn't in my bed. My head shot up and my eyes opened as I looked around each second getting more and more frightened. I was in a clearing that seemed to infinitely stretch on. It would be a peaceful place if not for the situation I was currently in. My breaths started to get more rapid and I wanted to crawl in my shell and hide. Wait... Shell? Why did I think that I thought as I reached up a claw to my head. Claw...claw...CLAW?!?!? I started to freak out and scream. Instead of my normal scream what came out was a deep primal shout of rage that made myself jump. Remembering what I was always told I started to slowly breathe...IN...OUT...IN...out... There... now I needed to find out what was going on. So let's make a list. First, see what I've become. I looked down at my now claws with amazement I clenched and let go. They're definitely mine, I stared at my stomach which appeared to have what looked like the underbelly of a turtle. At this time I noticed my feet which were similar to a lizards feet except much thicker, they had three toes with claws extending out. Looking back at my arms I noticed what appeared to be cuffs two on each arm. I could also feel one on my neck. Although I couldn't see it. Feeling the rest of my face I determined that I had some sort of hair and horns. As well as having sharp teeth in my mouth. While I could not see my back I didn't need to, I knew what I was. I was Bowser. From Mario Bros. Although I had no idea why. Second, find out where I am. While I was sure that people would not exactly be open with my appearance maybe I could convince them to help me out. It was a long shot but I would much rather take that chance then have to survive on my own. I needed to figure out a direction to start heading. I found which way was the sun determined the direction and chose to head South. Why? Because I had a lucky feeling about South. It might have also been the fact that there was smoke coming from that direction. Of course I didn't even know if that was South. Wherever I am could not even have directions. Then it finally hit me. This is a dream. I couldn't believe it took me so long to figure out. Of course this is a dream! I probably played too much Smash Bros. to the point where now I'm dreaming about it. As I continued walking I got the thought of testing out my powers, if I had any. I thought about and ended up on deciding to not. As I walked I thought about how beautiful the landscape looked. Wherever I am must not have any industry, I thought. The endless grassland seemed too peaceful and unreal. Deep in my subconscious I had a terrible thought Buuuurrrnnnn ittttt...... I pushed that thought down and tripped up a little my arms wobbling in the air as if to catch myself. Where did that voice come from? I needed to make sure not to think thoughts like that again. I tried to remember again how I had got here but each time a sharp pain registered into my mind and I had to hold my head in my hands. For some reason I couldn't remember. Eventually I decided to account that for this being a dream. Finally after a lot of walking I neared the town. There was even a sign it said some gibberish I couldn't read, which I had expected, but under that it said 'Welcome To Ponyville!' But... that should be impossible. How could I read in a dream? I calmed myself down and continued forward slightly more cautious. I started to notice how tall I was compared to the buildings. If I were to jump I would be able to see over the buildings. As I walked further into the town I saw no people around. There wasn't any people, but there was whatever you called these. They walked on two legs, like humans but unlike humans they didn't have skin. I needed something to compare them to. I guess horses would work. Seeing how where human mouths would normally be, they had what seemed to look like horse muzzles. I assumed from the way they were wearing clothes that they were intelligent. A mare with a orange mane and lighter orange fur was walking nearest to me. She had on what looked to be a blouse. I walked up to her ready to talk to her. "Excuse me?" I began. She turned around, her eyes widening to the sizes of dinner plates as she saw me. Her mouth opened and she screamed "EVIL MONSTER!" And turned and ran away. Everyone else turned my way and had the same reaction. Eyes widen, mouth open, scream. I had to cover my ears with how much they screamed. They were all screaming and running around randomly. I tried to tell them that I wasn't going to hurt them that I wasn't a threat but each time resulted in them shouting, "He's going to eat me!" It was now that I started to get annoyed and started shouting at them. I might have put too much power into the shout as the very Earth itself seemed to shake with the shout. Before I was even able to do anything else I heard one of them shouting at me. The mare that was shouting at me had cerulean fur. She was wearing a blue pair of shorts and a blue jacket with a white shirt. She looked to be an athletic type. She had Rainbow colored hair and was glaring at me. Also she had wings. Why wings? Could she fly? "What are you doing in Ponyville you Monster?!" She shouted at me. I tried to say something but that insult affected me. She called me a Monster and she didn't even know who I was or where I was from or what I was doing! She just insulted me! How could she!? What gives her the RIGHT!?! The voice which I had tried to hide started to rise again and I could feel myself shifting. I started to get angrier and wanted to see her suffer. But I knew it was wrong, I tried to push down the feeling but I couldn't and it overpowered and took control of me. I roared and charged at her in blind rage. She easily sidestepped me and stuck her tongue out, saying something like "You're too slow," to which I threw a kick while she wasn't focused. She got knocked through a building and flew back at me straight into my stomach to which I absorbed most of the blow. I grabbed her and threw her into another building. This time I charged at her winding up a punch, and just as expected she flew out again, except this time she flew straight into my fist punching her through another building. Even I could tell she was getting exhausted and I picked her up positioning herself in front of me as I got ready the killing blow. But was suddenly cut off by a purple glow. That seemed to slash my arm. I dropped the girl and turned to where the streak came from. I saw a purple furred girl who radiated with power. She had on a skirt and a purple vest. Her hair was purple with a lighter purple streak going through it. She had wings just like the cyan girl but also had a horn that was currently glowing. She leveled a glare at me and yelled "Get away from my friend!" > Saving the Day - SF - Ryu Chapter 1(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I hated these slow days. Work was a bore, as always. Unlike a lot of other people in the beginning I actually liked my desk job. It was interesting to begin with, but it had slowly become like all the other jobs I had worked at before. At least I was finally going home. I could always find excitement in video games. As I drove home I thought about my friends I always talked with while playing. There's Barry, who loves Nintendo and is always playing a Nintendo game. He lives the farthest away, but he's the most skilled out of all of us. Then there's Shane, my roommate who I'm always either fighting with in real life or in a video game. He tried to always argue that Mortal Kombat was better than Street Fighter. There's also Garret. I honestly don't know much about Garret. What I do know is that he's hiding something from us, but I don't know what. He's been playing Grand Theft Auto most recently. Even though I enjoyed playing games with friends I always wished for some more...excitement. I noticed a bright flash out of the corner of my eye and saw a what looked like a shooting star in the night sky. I opened my eyes and saw green. That's not right, I groaned as I started to stand up. Eventually I decided to get up my classic way, jumping up. Putting all of my strength into the jump I put my heads by my head and sprang myself up, and instead jumped through a tree. My mind slowly started to take in the situation. "The hell?" Is all I could think of saying. I looked behind myself and saw that, indeed I jumped through a tree. Now noticing the tree I saw that around me was a forest. The forest was relatively light and seemed to be very peaceful. In fact just as I said that I noticed a little squirrel come up to my feet. I bent down and picked it up. "Are you not afraid of me?" I asked it even knowing that it wouldn't know what I was saying. It chirped happily and leaped off of my hand. I watched as it dashed into the forest. I could see around me that there was animals watching me. I looked at myself and saw that I was wearing what looked like a white gi with a black belt. I also saw out of the corner of my eye that I had a red headband. It was also now that I noticed how much more muscle I had. I mean I wasn't unhealthy but compared to what I look like now I would look unhealthy. All in all I noticed that I looked exactly like Ryu from Street Fighter. I started to look around noticing something. This place looked familiar. I couldn't place where I had seen it though. I decided to start walking East and see where that would take me. While I was walking I started to think about how I got here. All I was doing was playing a fighting game with Shane and then...a bright flash of light, I thought, and before that it flashed every color of the rainbow. The place still seemed familiar but I knew that I had never been here before. After a while I got over a hill and saw... apples? Again it seemed as if I had been here but I know that I don't remember it looking like this. Then I noticed the way that they were placed. They were in rows as if the apple trees were a part of an orchard. Apple tree orchard... I was in Equestria. In My Little Pony. I hadn't kept it much of a secret that I liked My Little Pony to my friends and they had responded pretty well. The only thing they said was just to not bring it up when we were fighting. So I kept it to myself. I wasn't completely sure of it but it was a better guess than anything else. I pinched myself. Not a dream, I should probably go and talk to the owner. Who was probably Applejack, if I was in Equestria. It was after a lot of walking that I finally saw the iconic barn from the show. I didn't know how to go about this, would I just waltz up knock on the door and say 'Hi I know almost everything about you, care to invite me in?' Well I have to sa-"STOP IT NOOOW!!" My thoughts were interrupted as a scream sounded out. I looked towards the way that the scream came from and saw Ponyville and the top of a monster's head. Specifically, Bowser's head. I wasn't going to question why Bowser was in Ponyville but I knew that I had to do something to stop him. But what can I do? I looked at the clothes I was wearing and got an idea. A stupid idea. Maybe I have the powers of Ryu! It was a thought that might lead to my demise but at this point I didn't care. I took off running towards Ponyville seeing Bowser battle with someone or something. As I was only a couple steps away from Ponyville I was hit by an object. As I got up I saw that it was a girl. She was wearing what looked to be blue shorts with a blue jacket and a white shirt. She seemed athletic and had rainbow hair. Oh also she had blue fur and wings. Well their not ponies, I thought, "Or at least not the ones I'm thinking of." I could tell that this was Rainbow Dash. She got up and took off towards Bowser again. I dashed towards Ponyville faster than I had begun. After what seemed to be a minute of running through streets I crossed the corner of the next building just in time to see a girl, wearing a purple skirt and vest, slash Bowser's arm with what I presume to be magic. This must be Twilight, judging by her wings and the magic she is using. "Get away from my friend!" Twilight shouted, as she shot out three bursts of magic from her hands. Bowser charged at her with surprising speed and waved off the three attacks like they were nothing. Twilight's hands lit up and she was soon behind Bowser. Her hands lit up again and started to slowly get brighter. When Bowser finally turned around she let the magic loose. As it started to fly towards Bowser it started splitting up into individual blasts that moved faster. At the last second the blasts converged together to form one giant blast that exploded into Bowser's chest. Smoke all around the battlefield. Twilight wiped her brow and turned the other way and started walking towards an unconscious Rainbow Dash. Bowser jumped out of the smoke and landed behind Twilight. Finally shaking myself out of my daze I willed my legs to start moving toward her. As Bowser pulled basck his arm to punch her I jumped out in front of her. "Take your friend and run!" I shouted at her. Twilight finally turned around and saw what was happening. She picked up Rainbow Dash using magic and moved out of the way. Bowser finally brought his fist forward and I caught it in my hands. I was pushed back by the movement and saw that I had made dents into the cobblestone path. Still holding on to his fist I started to lift him up. I pulled it to the right and started to spin him around. After around five spins I let go of him. Bowser soared through the air before he smashed into the side of a building. As he got up he and shook his head he caught sight of me. He roared and charged at me. I ran towards him before finally sliding under him. I grabbed onto his tail and heard him growl at me. I lifted him over my head and slammed him into the same building. Bowser roared at me as he stood up again. His eyes seemed to get a red glint to them and he took in a giant breath. I knew what was happening. I didn't know if I would be able to dodge the fire. Bowser would just have to breathe in my direction. So I did something stupid. I took my position. My right foot behind my left. Put back my hands, and shouted the famous line, "HADOUKEN!" As I shouted it I thrusted my hands forward, surprised that as I did so a blue energy wave shot out towards Bowser. He noticed and before he could breath fire the blast him in the chest. "AHAHAHA!" Bowser screamed as he went flying through the air and straight into a giant clock tower. I breathed heavily. That really took a lot out of me, I started to notice that some more ponies were exiting their homes now. I guess that this was a world where they were people rather than ponies. They all stared at me in wonder. That REALLY took a lot out of me. I panted heavily and then said, "I guess I'm a hero," And then I fainted. > A Lot Can Happen In One Day/Silent's Fresh Start - GTA - Garret Chapter 1(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today started out fine. I woke up, went through the morning routine, and things were going fine. I went to work, talked to some friends, got a promotion, and things were going fine. I went home, started playing games with friends, won most of the games, and SHOCKER! Thing's. Were. Going. FINE! But something went wrong, and the worst part is I know what happened. Well... not exactly. I know for the most part what happened. But I don't know the full story. I knew where I was. The great city of Canterlot. In Equestria. Yeah, I freaked out too. I know that I got transported there, but I don't know how. I wish I did though. Maybe then I would be able to go back to my perfect life. Where I had a life! A life filled with a job, and a house, and friends! Let me start from the beginning. Maybe then I can get through the craziness of the first day. Maybe then I will figure out what happened. As I woke up the smells of the city came to my nose. The smells were as horrible as always. I didn't want to get up but I knew I had no choice. I opened my eyes the tiniest bit. Then I opened them all the way, because I was not in my bed. I jumped up and looked around. The place where I had been resting was an alleyway in what seemed to be a relatively clean city. A cleaner city then the one I lived in. Maybe I got drunk. Maybe? No that's not possible if I got drunk I would not be wearing clothes. I was currently wearing the same outfit I always wear which is a grey shirt and blue jeans. There was only one way to figure this situation out. I walked out of the alleyway to see a bustling city. But it wasn't as bustling as my city. My city. My home. Looking around this unknown city I saw a... a... pony. No not those ponies. Anthro ponies. Or at least that's what I think. But I've only heard about anthro ponies in one case. He had white fur and a blue mane. His suit looked as though it would cost my entire life. He also had the most interesting mustache. I walked up to him and said in my most professional voice, "Hey dude do you know where I am?" I probably should have shown some more respect but my mind was still tired so it didn't register to me. He looked at me strangely before speaking, "Why you're in Canterlot. While you're here you might want to clean yourself up while you're here. Ponies here don't like anything that isn't fancy." I stared at him, "Would you care to repeat that," I said, "I seem to have lost my hearing." He sighed and repeated, "You're in Canterlot. The capital of Equestria." Well I definitely heard that right. I pinched myself. Not a dream. "Okay," I said, "Could you point me to the nearest bar?" So it turns out that Euros didn't work in Equestria. Neither did American Dollars. I don't know why I had either of them since I live in Canada, but I digress. After wandering around for a while, going into an alleyway to freak out and talking, or at least trying to talk to, the peo-oh wait that's not right. I meant to say Ponies, even though they're humans. I finally decided to just wander around the city and think. My first thought is that this was some sort of test, whatever God lives up there heard me think that my life was so great and said "Oh really?" and sent me to Equestria, but that thought was unlikely. After a couple more ideas I decided to give up on thinking about how and thinking about what next. I mean I didn't have any money, this universe is obviously different, and most of my plans are just downright bad. I looked up to the castle still amazed at the beauty of it. The show never did it justice. I had thought about finding Celestia and asking her to take me back, but I didn't think that would end well. Realizing that I had been walking for about an hour now in random directions I looked around and saw that I was standing in what looked to be a shipping area. There was a few warehouses nearby, and most of the workers seemed to be regular workers. Except for two ponies. They looked around suspiciously before taking what looked to be a few barrels. What they were filled with I had no idea but something took hold of my brain. I shook my head as something painful spread through my mind. Red pooled over my eyes and then darkness took hold of me. Third Person Two stallions pushed carts with barrels in them. The one on the left was a stallion wearing black clothing and had a dark grey mane that matched his equally black fur. He had dark green eyes and seemed nervous. The one on the right was wearing a bright red suit and had orange hair. His fur was also a red color. Although there was some dark red splotched on his suit. He had wings on his back, had dark magenta eyes, and walked with an air of confidence. The one on the left looked up. "Hey Trader?" He said. Trader looked over at his partner, he expected this very question, "What is it Silent?" "Do you think what we did w-was... right?" He looked up a guilty look on his face. Trader thought about this. He needed to phrase it the right way or Silent might back out of the group. He admired him as a good worker and didn't want to kill him. "What we did," Trader began, "Was what we had to do. The bastard was asking for it when he tried to take down our business. " Silent mulled over the words that Trader had said, specifically the word our. He had never had a friend, hard as it may seem to believe in this world. They walked further before arriving at their destination. It was the biggest but most hidden warehouse in the area. Trader walked up to the door and knocked out a rhythm. The door opened slightly, "Appointment?" A rusty voice said. "We've brought it." Trader responded. The door slid open as a stallion wearing a black outfit appeared in front of them. He started laughing before he spoke, "Come on in, come on in." His voice boomed. Trader and Silent entered the warehouse. They looked around and saw that the warehouse was filled with other barrels. Ponies wearing dark outfits were unloading and loading the barrels from trucks. There were piles of bits on tables, with other ponies counting the money. "In here." The large stallion said pointing to a door. Silent noticeably flinched and looked at the door. This was the bosses office. Not many ponies go to see the boss. Those that do, they don't leave the same if they leave at all. Silent and Trader entered, one uneasy the other was eager to meet the boss. They saw the boss staring out a window. The warehouse was on the edge of the city and gave a beautiful view of most of Equestria. " Do you know why I asked you to come to my office?" the boss spoke in a voice that sent chills down both of their spines. "N-No sir," Trader responded. The boss turned around revealing three scars that showed indication of a claw mark. He had a white suit and his hand was lit up as though he was ready to shoot one of them. The boss looked at both of them before speaking again, "I called you hear because of the incident we had with the stallion the other night. Trader and Silent both flinched this time. "S-Sir," Trader started, " I did-" Before he could finish a hole was blasted through his head. The boss waved the magic off his hand. "I thought it might have been you Trader." He spoke. The boss got up and walking over crouched down near him. He looked up at Silent before he continued, "We don't like weakness." The boss started as he began his speech. Silent shook his head, tears forming in his eyes, he never wanted this. The boss was still speaking but he couldn't listen, Silent looked up to the window and saw something strange, a stallion was on the outside of the building. But there was something weird about him. The stallion did not have any hair, though this wasn't unheard of. He was holding an object that looked as if it could be as big as his arm. He raised it up shifted his hooves and started jumping. Silent realized what the object was going to do and he got behind a chair in the room. The boss looked up at him he was about to speak before the world exploded with sound and light. As silent covered his ears in an attempt to get the ringing out of them he looked up and saw the stallion that was outside of the window beating up the boss. He was stomping on his face and shouting something. The stallion finally stopped and looked over at him. Silent tried to back up but he hit the wall and looked up at the stallion. The stallion stared at him before throwing him a bag. His ears finally stopped ringing. "-that money for something good. I didn't steal it for nothing. Don't try to find me. My name is G-I mean, my name is..." He put his hoof to his chin, "Call me T." he said. He walked out of the room. Silent heard a few more sounds coming outside of the room before his mind registered something. He needed to leave. Silent knew a place to go to. He ran out of the room and ran to the exit. He saw T taking the bits that were on the table. The boss' beefy henchman lied beside him with a blood wound. Silent focused on running out of here and finding refuge. A few minutes later and he was in an alleyway. As Silent sat there,he thought about T, who had given him a new start. He sighed and looked at the bag again. Shaking his head he got up and started walking to find a hotel. First Person Fluffiness. That is what I felt. I was definitely in a bed. Maybe that whole affair had been a dream. I might not have gone to Equestria. Maybe I was home in bed. Yeah I could be home in bed with my memory intact. Maybe. I felt something shift beside me. I have company? Whoever was in my bed settled into my arms further.Well this feels nice. Wherever I was, if I was in my house or their house I didn't care. My thoughts were blurred as I accepted whoever was hugging me. I felt myself sink into their fur. Wait a second. Fur. Fur. I was not home. I opened my eyes. It was dark but not too dark to see. Something seemed to be illuminating the room. I looked up and saw that stars seemed to be floating around the dark room. Reminding me of the night sky. I looked at who was holding me and nearly screamed. A mare with dark blue fur was holding me. She had a mane that seemed to hold the night sky in it. This was distressing beyond words. I was in bed, with Princess Luna, we both didn't have clothes on, and I have no memory of the night before. One thought entered my mind. Well that's not right. A million thoughts entered my head. But one was the most predominant. What the hell happened last night? > Waking Up - SF - Ryu Chapter 2(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Screaming ringed in my ears. My eyes shot open and were met with red. A dark red. I attempted to pull whatever red thing that was on my face off but my hand felt only my face. I wiped at my eye and was met with clearness, but I wish I couldn't see. My hand had blood dripping down my arm, and I could only presume that the rest of my body was also covered in blood. The screams seemed to get louder and I could hear that they were closer. Taking a glance around I nearly threw up at the horrifying sight. Blood covered the walls hiding for the most part what was there, but the walls still showed. All around me the walls were moving, to a steady beat. THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP The sound alone was enough to make anyone mad. I heard the screams again and looked behind me to see the worst sight. The ponies I had seen were covered in blood. It oozed from their eyes and mouth. The screams they made were high-pitched and I could tell they were in agony. I saw a white path behind the crowd of former ponies. That's the way to go. I bet on that hope and walked forward. One of the ponies looked straight at me and I stopped dead in my tracks. It took a step towards me, strangely silent. That is until it let back it's head and let out a massive scream. It charged towards me brandishing what looked to be a scythe swinging at me. I couldn't even lift up my hand before my vision went black. I woke up screaming in the dark. For a moment I thought that the long nightmare was finally over, and that I was home. Sadly those thoughts were dashed instantly as a pony dressed in a lab coat came into the room. He had a brown coat and appeared to be worried about me, something I would not have expected. He went over to the lamp, and as light flooded through the room I got a better look at him. He had an even more brown mane, and bright red eyes. The lab coat he wore was white and bore a cutie mark on the pocket. The cutie mark was strangely what looked like an ocean. From what I could tell he was a Unicorn and he carried his clipboard with a bright red magic. An awkward silence filled the room before he seemed to muster the courage to speak to me. "A-Are you alright." He seemed unsure if I could even talk. "I...think so." I responded hesitantly He bore a look of surprise at my speech and took a while to speak again,"Well alright, if y-you need anything press the button on the s-side of your bed." He responded sounding scared of me, or scared of what I could do more likely, "I need to tell the Princess that you're awake, just stay right here." I looked at my bed and more specifically my arm. My arm was in a cast. I looked back at him then my arm before responding, "Where do you think I would go exactly?" By the time I had spoke though he was gone. Well then, I thought, I'm speaking with the princess. This could go one of two ways, either I have a way of going home, or I may never go to home. Even then what would happen if I did go home. Would I just go back to normal life with realizing that there is another world or dimension out there with the characters from My Little Pony except they look like the cross between a pony and a human, and be expected to not go insane just from this knowledge. What if I kept my powers. Would I just go around and whenever somebody gets in my way yell Hadouken and blast them away? So many questions and about half of the are dumb ones. Well at least I know one thing, I'm not going to make the mistake of ending up in bed with one of these ponies. That is most certainly not going to happen to me. Then the biggest question of all hit me. What was Bowser doing in this world? I didn't get the chance to fully think that question out before the door slammed open. Standing at the door, looking like she hadn't slept in a week, was Princess Twilight. She calmly pulled up a chair and stood by the bed. Twilight sighed and floated some papers over to her before starting to write on them. I coughed which seemed to finally draw her attention to me. "Hey." I said too casually, What was I thinking saying that! She's a princess for crying out loud., "Uh, sorry i meant to say, Hey your Majesty." I don't think that was any better. She took a long look at me before responding, "Hello." She held out her hand, to me and I slowly took it in mine and shook her hand. Twilight withdrew her hand and began to speak, "You don't have to do anything formal because I'm a Princess, or at least you don't have to bow or say anything special," She paused and took a long yawn, "To be honest I didn't think you would be waking up for a while, so I though I could have some sleep for just a little bit. Obviously not though. Ever since you fought that monster i've had to deal with a lot of issues coming up, one of the biggest being that ponies won't stop attempting to meet with you and thank you." Thank me? I would have expected more hostility. "But anyways, I need to fill out some applications so that way you can be allowed to leave this hospital among other things. They won't take too long." Two Hours Later "There! Finally we're all done." In between filling out all these papers, Twilight had had a pony bring some coffee up and the mood had drastically lightened up. It seemed as though in just a few short hours she had already begun to trust me. Although I wouldn't expect anything less from the Princess of Friendship. "So, Ryan you said?" I nodded, "Well Ryan now that you have your papers signed do you want to eat something I could surely do with some Breakfast." "You wouldn't believe how hungry I am right now." Twilight had only slightly been surprised when I spoke. Apparently Equestria is truly a stranger place than I would have ever believed. "Fighting a monster that big works up quite an appetite." Twilight and I hadn't talked about anything of where I had come from, as any time the question came up I always asked another question about Equestria that she was happy to answer. "Well I'm sure that we can get into a restaurant if we hurry there." Twilight said as she got up from her makeshift desk. While we were working she asked one of the nurses to bring in a table that she could put her papers on. The nurse had walked over to the closet and opened it revealing a folding table. Much to the surprise of Twilight and I. I slowly got out of bed and thankfully realized that I still had the same outfit on. After a short walk across town, with some stares from some ponies and Twilight hurrying us along from what looked like a mob near the doors of the hospital, we arrived at the restaurant. The restaurant was nice but was by no means fancy. Both Twilight and I asked for pancakes when the waiter came around and I was relieved to find out that they were actual pancakes. After our meal Twilight led me back to her crystal tree castle which wasn't hard to find as it stood out among all the buildings. The first thing I noticed inside the castle was just how massive the area was. The throne room with all the chairs was the first room but I noticed there was stairs leading upwards, probably to the bedrooms. Twilight walked over to her chair and sat down. "Oh, sorry. Please take a seat in this guest chair." I sat down. "I told my friends to meet here. So they should be here soon. We haven't thanked you for what you did for our town." "Well i can't exactly say no." A thought crossed my mind. "What happened to B-The monster?" "We had him taken to a temporary magic holding cell at the court. There's no way he can get out of that cell. I made sure of it." Suddenly the door burst open and in stumbled a frantic looking white coated unicorn stood there. She had a Purple mane that was currently a mess. I could only assume that this was Rarity, she had a purple skirt and purple vest with a white shirt. Her mascara ran down her face and she was currently crying. Rarity looked at Twilight and said one word, "Fluttershy." > The Mistakes I Made... - MK - Scorpion Chapter 1.5(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cottage was natural, I noticed. Animals seemed to like the area, as various birds flew around the house. The person who lived here must like animals. There was even a bridge in front of the house that had a small river flowing under it. The place was beautiful and serene but I needed to find people that could help me. I walked up to the door and could already hear the animals behind the door. My hand hesitated at knocking on the door. Three knocks sounded out. I waited for the door to open. The door remained quiet. Well this is taking a while, I sighed and leaned against a wooden post next to the door. Creak! Oh, Groaning, I rubbed my back and got up from the ground. Suddenly I heard a melodic voice sounding out. Then I noticed her. My mind was trying to wrap around what was in front of me. It would be if someone were to cross a horse and a girl. She had yellow fur that glowed in the sunlight. With pink hair that flowed down her back. She had a green shirt and blue skirt that matched with the natural area around her. I debated walking up to her when she solved that predicament for me. Her eyes stared into mine and it seemed as though she was going to run. A second went by. Another one. Then she fainted. She fainted. To be honest, I think I was ready to faint also. Then at once my mind caught up to the present. I just saw a horse girl and she fainted in front of me. I walked up to her and confirmed that she had, actually, fainted. Weirdest day ever. I did the math and figured that she probably shouldn't be left outside while unconscious so I picked her up and walked over to the door. Looking back on this, this is probably where one of my first mistakes was made. After trying and failing to open the door I started to get progressively angry at the door itself. Eventually resulting in what I consider a mistake. CRASH! Walking past the pieces of the broken door, I set the weird horse girl down on the couch in the house. My second mistake was made here. After I set her down I failed to notice what my hands and body were covered in. Resulting in the horse girl being covered with blood. Also my attention must have been horrible because the hundred animals in the room only became visible now. They must have really liked this person/thing because they went absolutely crazy when they saw her with blood. The animals started running around crazily and even into each other. My biggest mistake was made here, in trying to think amid all this chaos I failed to see the bear charging straight at me. Soon I was on the ground, a bloodied sword next to me. In attempting to reach for the word the bear stomped me on the face. I got knocked out by a bear. Even after fighting a monster in the forest, a bear is what got me. Twelve Hours Later As I slowly stood back up I realized again where I was, and noticed that the time was much later now. I reached for my sword and stood up, noticing a disturbing lack of animals. With a click the front door opened and I went out into the night, feeling watched from the darkness. After a short trek across the countryside to find an abandoned barn. I was soon fast asleep and unaware of what was about to happen. > And The Accident They Brought - MK - Scorpion Chapter 2(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- My eyes snapped open taking in the light. Redness filled my vision and my ears were assaulted with noise. I reached my hands up to my eyes feeling a liquid cover them. As I felt I realized soon what this liquid was, blood. I wiped the blood away from my mind and stood up. I was in a huge chamber, fire scorched this place and screams filled the air. As I took in the chamber I noticed the walls for the first time. They were beating. Similar to a heart, almost. Except it seemed closer to being that of a drumbeat. THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP Looking around it wasn't to hard to spot the creatures nearby, they looked similar to that one girl I saw...but far less horrific. The monsters had blood red eyes, and for that matter had blood dripping from their eyes and mouth. Some of them were showing off their teeth which looked like they could cut through steel with how sharp they were. However unlike the girl whatever these were didn't have the decency to put on clothes. In my thinking one of the creatures noticed me and didn't waste time charging at me. Raising it's...claws, into the air. The mosters had claws that looked like Death's scythe. Before it could get to slash me with it's claw I cut it off quickly with a punch that stopped it dead in it's tracks, literally dead in it's tracks. All the other creatures quickly noticed this and seemed to cower before me all except one creature, no, one man. As the man got closer I could start to make out how big he was, but before I could fully see this man my vision was overtaken with white. I awoke to the sun hitting my face, as I attempted to cover my eyes my memory of what happened the other day returned to me. Standing up I decided that it would be best to head into town, hopefully the locals wouldn't fear me too much. Although a bit of fear could give me an edge. I smiled and exited the destructed barn that I had slept in. It didn't take much locating to discover which way the town was as there was a sign that pointed the way to town. The town was called Ponyville. Well the only local I've seen is a horse girl, so of course it would be horse related. Although the name struck me as familiar. But I pushed that thought aside. Soon I was at the edge of town, and it sure seemed busy. All the locals were out and a few of them even flew over me. Yeah, flew. Some of these horses had wings. I marched into town feeling quite upbeat. The weather was thankfully nice and the locals even seemed cheery. Until they looked at me, then many of them seemed to start shaking. Although I was kind of scary I didn't expect a reaction quite like this. Many of them just stared at me and started to back away. It looked like parts of the town had recently been destroyed for some reason. With noticeable burn marks on the ground. After just a little more walking I reached town square and a noticeable crowd of ponies had gathered around. They seemed almost angry and I tensed up ready to fight if I had to. I walked up to the fruit dealer, even she seemed slightly scared/angry. I assumed it was a she based on her posture and, well other natural things. She had long green hair and yellow fur. Her eyes were a bright green and she was wearing an outfit you might see on someone at a farmers market. Fitting I guess. I noticed that many of the locals here were very colorful, in all different shades and colors. As I looked back at the vendor and she had a look that told me she didn't want me here. I decided to deal with the situation delicately. "Why is everyone so god damn scared of me?" She looked at me as though the answer was pretty obvious before sighing and saying, "Well we did just recently get attacked, and with all these new outsiders coming ponies are starting to want all these new ponies to get out of here or be forced to leave. In fact if I were you I would get some help from the guard station set up in Ponyville." That got my attention, the forcing me to leave part. They think that they can force me to leave. I couldn't help myself I started to laugh. Not just a small laugh this was a full laugh. For some reason this show of force seemed so, hilarious that I couldn't help but laugh. The woman looked at me strangely, "What's so funny?" "I'm not the one who needs help, but if any of you ponies think for a second that they can attack me, they are the ones who will be needing help." I grinned even though she wouldn't see it I think she got the point. Her look turned from annoyed to scared faster than you could blink. I decided that while I was here I might as well make use of it, i picked up an apple and decided to ask her one more thing, "Which way is it to that guard station?" As I walked I noticed the ponies gathering, ready to fight me by the looks of it. It seemed like a proper mob. It was only ten minutes later when one of them decided to come up to me. He wasn't anything tough looking, but his eyes gave me an aggressive glare. The man had brown hair and tannish fur. He looked at me up and down before speaking, "If you know what's good for you, you'll leave this town right now." "I don't see anyone who could make me." That seemed to set him over the edge. His face seemed to scrunch up with even more anger and he charged at me. So this is what you're looking for buddy. A fight. I knew this would be all too easy so I decided to let him get a free hit on me. He rammed into me setting me backwards. I quickly recovered and sent him flying with an uppercut. He hit the street with a thud and I saw many of the ponies that had looked ready to fight were now backing off. That's right, back off cowards. I kept walking forward as though nothing had even happened. A few of the horses in the crowd still thought they had a chance and charged at me. I sidestepped the first one that came near and punched another horse in the stomach. For horses these guy were pretty weak. I kept doing these same motions to all the others that came near. Suddenly one of them kicked my back and actually got a good hit on me. I turned around to find a horse that actually seemed taller than me. This one towered over all the rest and they seemed to back up, as if they knew that this was his turn. I might have actually found someone that can fight. This horse had yellow-orangeish hair, and red fur. He wore clothes that you would see a farmer wear and definitely had the muscles that would come from such a job. This guy looked like he worked inn his sleep. Alright then big guy, show me what you got. He looked at me for a second before charging at me. I side stepped this guy and planned on punching him in the gut but before I could he extended his fist and punched me in the face. I stumbled back and it clicked in my head what he had done. I got up angrily. I charged at him fists at the ready he just as easily knocked me out of the way, a smirk on his face this time. Standing up I prepared to let him come at me before striking. Then I realized instead of waiting for him what I could do. The smirk on my face is unseen because of my mask which makes what I'm about to do all the better. I pull my hand back before sending it forward. A kunai at the edge of a chain makes its way to my opponent. I see the kunai enter his chest and I pull hard enough to make him come flying towards me. "GET OVER HERE!" I yell as he comes closer. I let go of the kunai and chain and as he is just about to near me I backflip sending him flaming into a building. The building rumbled from the loss of structure but still remained upright. I laughed, knowing that he wouldn't be getting out of there any time soon. As I turn around I hear some crumbling from behind me. I quickly turn back around only to be met with a fist in my face. Somehow the red guy had managed to get up from such a devastating hit. As he came over to me I tried to get up but found that I was trapped under a trash can that had gotten on top of me. While I struggled to get the strangely massive trash can off of me a young girl walked up to the red horse. She was young, had red hair and yellow fur. She wore a pretty simple shirt with a skirt. I caught just the end of what she said as I got up. "-you can't just attack someone." It seemed that they were in some way related. "You know what Applebloom." the red horse said, "I think I'm going to leave this fight. It's pretty much done anyways." He looked over at the arrived guard of the city. I started to get angry at him. You can't just turn your back on a fight and walk away! His actions were horrible and so I knew that if he would try to find a way to end the fight than I would too. I got up and ran up behind him. "Nobody walks away from me. You will pay for this, with your LIFE!" I unsheathed my sword and stabbed him through the stomach. He fell to his knees and I pulled the sword out of him. He little girl looked to be in shock. The guard were quick to respond and charged at me with swords of their own. I heard a scream that likely came from the girl. Suddenly the guards, the girl and the man were all pulled away by a purple glow. From the sky came a Purple furred horse girl. She had dark purple hair, wings and a horn that was glowing. Her eyes were purple and she was wearing an outfit that showed that she was the ruler, or at least she looked the part. Suddenly a man that had been floating as well dropped to the ground. Not a horse man, an actual man. He was wearing a white gi with a red belt. He had brown hair and was near my height. He looked exactly like Ryu from Street Fighter. They both stared at me intensely before finally Ryu spoke, "So you thought you were the only fighter in this town. That's the last mistake you're making." Ryu and the Princess charged at me, as sheathed my main sword I pulled out my my two Ninjato and prepared myself. This is going to be a good fight. > Confusion - GTA - Chapter 2(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I lay there I desperately hoped that this was a dream. At the same time, I hoped it wasn't. Looking over at Luna she seemed to be resting easy, so there was no way I was waking her up. That's when I began to recall back what happened the other day, but I couldn't remember anything after seeing the warehouses. The room was still dark. From what I could tell, Luna liked to make it known that she was a princess. Nearly everything in the room was king-sized, or I guess in this world it would just be really big. It came to me that I would need to wake her up, or pretend to sleep and let her wake up. I felt moving on the bed, and realized that she had wrapped her wings and arms around me. Making this even worse for me. The worst part about all of this was that I couldn't even see my clothes nearby. I looked over at Luna and knew that I had to do this, as it would happen eventually. I reached out but then stopped. Was I even sure about this. In my mind I groaned and began thinking about this carefully. After about five minutes I wasn't given the chance to make the decision. Because Luna was stirring awake. As she began to wake up, she started to extend her wings. She still hadn't noticed that she was sharing her bed. Suddenly she stopped moving. Wondering if had noticed yet I didn't notice that I was currently flying until I hit the wall. I opened my eyes to see a very scared/angry/confused Luna staring at me from across the room. We stare at each other for what seems like hours and is only just minutes. Finally Luna decides to speak, "Who are you and what were you doing in my bed?" At this point something in my head decided to stop thinking, and my mind went blank. So my intelligent side said, "Yes." Back at the staring competition we went, both sides providing fierce competition. She opened and closed her mouth a few times and what I had said just clicked in my head. "Uh, I mean...no?" It turns out that a facehoof is an actual thing here. Who knew? "I-I mean my name is...uh, Garret. The bed part, well, I don't quite know myself." I rubbed my hand behind my head. "I think I know why..." She coughed into her hands and appeared to blush, her eyes going up for some...reason. I realized I was currently on the floor, with my, uh, person displayed for her to see. I quickly grabbed the nearest object in an attempt to cover up. Which happened to be a nearby bed sheet. Now I had no idea what to do. Or what she would do. So I decided to voice that, "What now?" Even she seemed confused on what to do. Which would make sense as she had been on the moon for 1000 years. "Well," Luna began, "You should put on some clothes, we need to find out what happened. However it's impolite to not offer you something to eat so, you should come to eat breakfast with me." "Uh, thanks. It's an honor to eat with a princess." "Yes, while there you'll be able to answer some questions I have." Shit. After looking for a few minutes I couldn't find my clothing in the room, which was extremely distressing. After I asked Luna she said she had a spare just in case of emergencies like this. When I asked her why she would need a spare for emergencies like this, she snapped and told me I was not to ask. So I let it drop. The outfit was pretty interesting. Interesting, but simple. Like something that Luna would wear if she was male. Now here we are on our way to eat breakfast. This has been the weirdest two days, and it's only the morning of the second one. I'd bet my friends our having the best time playing games right now. Maybe wondering where I am. Probably not. I never told them much about myself, I don't think they even know what I look like. Well maybe Ryan. "We're here." Luna said, snapping me out of my thoughts. The room was very spacious, which is what you would expect. I took my seat across from Luna on the large table. A brown furred pony entered the room. If I had to hazard his cutie mark, I would say it would be something to do with cooking. "What would you like this fine morning Princess Luna and...guest." He spoke, of course it was a French accent. "I'll have what I always have." Luna said with clear control. I thought a bit before saying, "Could I have some Waffles?" The chef sighed, probably thinking what a waste of his talent that was. "Right away Princess" He bowed and sped off to the kitchen. Princess Luna and I decided to continue our staring contest right where we left off. Finally she decided to break the silence with a question I didn't want to answer, "Who are you?" I stared at her before sighing as I opened my mouth to speak the door suddenly burst open. A white furred pony wearing royal guard armor stepped into the room. He walked up to Princess Luna and spoke, "Princess Luna, a message from your sister." He handed her a scroll. Luna looked surprised before taking the scroll as her eyes moved across the page she appeared to slowly get angrier. Finally she calmed down and spoke to the guardspony, "Tell my sister that it will be taken care of." She said as she got up from her seat. The guard saluted and walked away. Luna looked at me, "Grab my hoof." She said to me. Confused, and assuming she meant her hand I walked over and held on. A flash of dark blue light and suddenly we were in a courtroom. "What are we doing here?" I asked Luna. "I have to judge a criminal, this crime is big enough that it is taken to me. Just sit down out there and wait for this to be over." I walked over to where a crowd of ponies sat before taking my seat next to a very well clothed pony. Finally after waiting they brought out the criminal. I couldn't believe my eyes. "The trial will begin!" A pony shouted, "For your actions of destroying a part of the town Ponyville, Bowser, how do you plead?" The giant turtle monster looked around before looking at the princess, "Uh, not guilty?" > Courtroom Chaos - SSB - Bowser Chapter 1.5(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm sure by now you guys know of me getting my ass handed to me, well my troubles got a lot worse after that. After hitting that clock tower, I remained unconscious for a while. Finally I was woken up inside of a prison with purple glowing bars. It didn't take much imagination to figure out what this was. A cage for me. The monster. Soon the ponies that held me here talked about a trial to happen immediately in the Ponyville courtroom. Unfortunately there was a trial. Although even I see that there is ultimately no need. The trial was strangely held by a unicorn, identified with the horn she had, and with wings, like a pegasus. She just appeared out of thin air. Strangely she was accompanied by someone that looked familiar, but I couldn't quite recognize. The trial commenced. Right from the beginning I knew that I had no hope. Every witness confirmed that I was the culprit. After all, who could miss a giant monster turtle? Apparently some of these ponies were quite popular, from the gasps that came from the jury. Especially a pony named Rainbow Dash. Who I think I sent her through a wall, multiple times. Finally came the end of the trial, it didn't take the jury long to decide my verdict. Guilty. The punishment, however was not as bad as would have been expected for destroying a part of a town. However the majority of the punishment came from attempted murder of a town's inhabitants. I was to be imprisoned for 20 years. Which I was still shocked by. Apparently a pony in the audience was equally shocked and wanted to change this. By killing me. He screamed out, "NO! This is not justice! For his crimes he deserves far worse." The pony was covered in tan fur and had a chestnut mane of hair. Quickly jumping from his seat, he started to run towards my cage. I found out he was a unicorn quickly when he fired a spell at my cage, releasing the bars. He bolted past the guards, and they finally took action. The stallion fired another shot at me. I saw a bright green light as the spell hit me. Soon finding myself on my back, as I strove to not fall into the abyss. I awoke with a start and instantly leaned upwards, surveying where I was. The infinite plains laid out before me. Calmness inside myself and all around. A shuffle in the grass indicated that someone was sitting next to me. Looking over I saw a bright blue mare right next to me. She looked at me quietly. I looked at her for a while before finally speaking, "Who are you? Where am I?" She stared intently at me before finally responding, "You are in a part of your mind. I am your...helper. I make sure that your human mind, and the mind of the beast Bowser do not conflict." I stared at her wondering if she was serious. When she didn't make any notion that she was joking I decided to ask another question, "Why am I here?" She looked at me with an almost sad expression, "Because sometime soon, you're going to die." This news hit me hard. I got up and marched away from her trying to make sure that what I heard was correct. "Do not worry Barry, you will not die right now, but you will have to save someone else, which will in turn end you." I sat down on the grass and felt her rest a hand on my shoulder. "There is a way that you can live on, but you have to do an extraordinary act. Most importantly, you will not be the same." I looked at her for the longest of time, "What do I have to do?" > The Fight For Life Part 1 - SF V.S. MK - Ryu and Scorpion Chapter 3(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ryu Twilight and I ran over to Fluttershy's House. When we got there we discovered her laying down, covered in blood. Rainbow Dash arrived quickly after us, Twilight told her to take her to the hospital as fast as she could. We both knew that we had to find who did this and fast. Before we left Twilight asked to talk to me quickly. She and I stopped outside Fluttershy's House, "Do you think, that we should have a plan?" "I don't know who we're dealing with," I thought silently before adding, "This may be someone we can't beat normally. So I have an idea. Should I disappear you have to follow these instructions. They will save your life." The Fight For Life Part 1 We stared at each other. He had me beaten with the intensity, but I was by far more angrier. A man wearing a distinct yellow and black outfit stood across from me. His outfit bore the carapace of a scorpion. Which made sense, considering who he is. Hanzo Hasashi, Scorpion. Not exactly sure I asked for this opponent. Nonetheless it doesn't matter how the battle turns out for me, as long as I protect the ponies here. I looked over at Twilight. Her eyes betrayed her confident look, she's scared. I can't blame her, so am I. Covering up my fear I put on a brave look and nod at her, giving her some comfort. We both charge together. He stands still for a moment longer then quickly pulls out his dual katanas. Twilight dashes to the right of him, preparing a spell in her horn. I keep dashing forward at him. Just as we are about to clash I jump over him, surprising him for a moment. He turns around slashing outwards. My body quickly moves under the blades and kicks his legs out from underneath him. Scorpion tries to get up quickly but instantly I kick upwards sending him in the air where I jump up to kick him back downwards. Scorpion grumbles under his breath as he gets up, "Have you had enough yet?" I ask, "It sure seems like it." Scorpion "Have you had enough yet?" Ryu asks, "It sure seems like it." Don't get cocky. Or you'll start making mistakes. I look up to see a building that could only be described as a sugar fest. With Ryu standing right in front of it. I grinned under my mask. Like this one. I jump to my feet, Ryu gets into stance again but is not fast enough to dodge a hit. I punch Ryu back. He staggers and sways slightly but rights himself and looks at me. "Alright then." He says, "So we're fighting serious." "You want serious fighting, because I haven't even tried." In just a few seconds of dashing I'm in front of him. I swing at him with my right arm, connecting with his head, I wing my left arm and catch him in the stomach. I continually keep switching fists to hit him. Right, arm. Left, stomach. Right, leg. Left, arm. Finally I uppercut him into the air. Payback's a bitch. Jumping up I position myself right next to him in air. I grab onto him. Lifting back my arms I prepare for my next movement. I throw down my arms sending Ryu tumbling into the sweets shop. Ryu "Ow, shit." I wince as I pull myself off of a table. My eyes survey the room. In total there are about five ponies in the room. They are all staring at me intently. One of them looks as though she might try to help me up. I backflip up into a fighting stance as the ceiling is crashed through once again by the exact man who threw me. He looks around, just as I did. Suddenly he disappears in a burst of fire. Then I find myself flying through the air, after a punch hits my back. I turn around and am able to deflect one of his punches. Scorpion then grabs onto one of the nearby tables and throws it at me. I dodge it, but I quickly notice that the table is headed towards a small filly. I run over diving I grab onto the filly and roll over on my back. The table crashes through one of the buildings window and onto the street. I let go of the child and she runs to two other ponies nearby. I don't have time to dwell on that though as Scorpion quickly starts throwing punches again. Suddenly fire starts to spread around his body. He actually lit himself on fire. He grabs onto me and throws me out of the already destroyed window. I feel the glass cut into my skin but I back flip up into a standing position anyways. Scorpion runs at me still on fire and I dodge to the left of him. As he comes near me again I ready myself for his attack. Right as he reaches out to punch me I punch upwards. Sending him into the air along with me, as I yell out, "SHORYUKEN!" He flies backwards and hits a building before falling to the ground. Scorpion Looks like Ryu has actually started to use his tactics. No matter, they're no match for mine. I run towards him, this time jumping in the air before planting my feet down on to him. He falls onto the ground underneath me. I grab onto to his arms and start to roll myself over forcing him to contort his body in an uncomfortable position. CRACK! "AAAHAHAH!" Very uncomfortable it seems. Finally I roll over all the way. I let go of his arms and push my feet outwards sending him flying into a building. He appears stuck in the rubble, so I decide to help him out of there. "GET OVER HERE!" I send out a chain which embeds itself deep into his chest. I yank the chain with all my might. As Ryu soars through the air I jump up and grab onto his legs. I pull back my arms before throwing them forward into the cobbled street. He made a crater in the street. "Ryu, you know you're going to have to pay for that street." I grab him by his neck, looking at the bloodied mess he is. Somehow still breathing. "HA! You're persistent! We'll change that." I lifted him over to a building and smashed his head into the brick. Seeing him struggle I take him out and smash him back in. Making sure to keep doing it to get the point across. He stopped moving. "HAHAHAHA! What? No more fight left in you!?" I threw his unmoving body into a building with a sign that says quills and sofas. I had hoped he would prove to be more of a challenge. But if he dies that easily than I will not give him the honor of dying properly. "Hey!" A voice shouts from behind me. I turn to see the princess again, "Oh, are you going to try to fight? You look too weak to even see me." "I just have to ask, why?" She looks at me coldly. Letting out a small laugh I begin my speech, "Because I want to see things die. I want to see a world wither and burn. To have it's locals slaughtered. Killing each other just to survive. Only to be cut down without thought. I want your world to fall into darkness, and for everything that you or any of this planets inhabitants cares to be destroyed. To have ponies at their knees begging for their life. See them weak and then chop their head off. As a matter of fact I want you to live. Just so you can see your friends killed before your eyes and see me slaughter every living thing on this planet. I want you to know that you have no chance at stopping me. Just as your "hero" died. Then when you finally think you've lived through the worst pain I will take you to my hell. Where I will watch you get tortured and laugh at your scr-" I was cut off and noticed that I was flying towards a building. Well sh- CRASH! Ryu Now I was pissed off. He can hurt me as much as it pleases him, but when he starts to hurt ponies that have done nothing to him, that's when I get angry. There was no restrictions now. This bastard is going down. I saw Scorpion jump out of the building's window and look at me. He was clearly fuming, "HOW!? HOW DID YOU LIVE!?! IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU TO BE ALIVE!! YOU DIED!" "You might want to double check next time." I retorted, "Because this sure is saying that I'm alive." "Wha-" "HADOKEN HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" A massive blast appeared in front of me. It moved with such speed and had so much power that for a second I almost thought that it wasn't my attack. Scorpion backed up and attempted to turn but before he could the blast fully consumed him. A large explosion was set off. As the smoke cleared all that was left was a burn mark on the ground where Scorpion once stood. "Is he dead?" I heard Twilight ask. For someone who would normally want people to stay alive she seemed like she hoped that he was dead. Which I don't blame her. "Maybe, I wouldn't bet on it though. This is one of the worst people I could have fought." I sigh. "Why is that?" She looked at me. "It's... thought to be impossible." I stopped the conversation there. Twilight looked at me as though she finally realized that I wasn't as powerful as she thought. We both stood still, cautious for if Scorpion were to attack us. I slightly relaxed myself, convinced that he may have made a retreat. Suddenly footsteps and a yell caught our attention. We quickly looked for Scorpion, not finding him. Then in an instant he was right in front of us. Wielding just one sword he started swinging madly. Both of us were able to dodge every swing he made. Something wasn't right though. He should be fighting smarter than this. Suddenly he summoned flames in front of Twilight causing her to dodge out of the way. Scorpion noticed this and kicked me in the chest. I flew back a few feet, but I was quickly on my feet again. Scorpion was running at Twilight, with one intention in mind. My feet moved faster than my brain thought and I dived in front of Twilight. A blade pierced through my stomach. I could feel as it cut deep into my flesh. Scorpion seemed slightly surprised. It didn't take me long to figure out why he was only slightly surprised. "RIGHT WHERE I WANT YOU!" Scorpion shouted. He took the sword and plunged it through my body before wrapping his arms around me, as fire started to rise around me and him. The last thing I saw was the fire spreading over my vision. I woke up to an all to familiar scene. Blood on my eyes, the pounding walls, the red eyed ponies. My dreams weren't dreams, they were warnings. This time as the pony swung it's scythe at me I ducked under it and kicked it away. When I walked up to the other ponies they appeared to get out of the way. As though they knew that I was looking for someone they parted away. As I walked through the ponies I realized that I still had a hole through my stomach. Yet somehow I was still walking. Maybe it's just my willpower that keeps me going. Or maybe I actually have enough strength to beat him. In any case it's good that I had a backup plan made. Finally I stepped out into an open area with a giant skull throne in front of me. Then I heard laughing. I looked up to see Scorpion on that exact throne. Of course he was the one laughing. I knew where I was, however Scorpion thought it best to tell me anyways, "WELCOME TO THE NETHERWORLD! WHERE MY ARMY RESIDES AND WHERE YOUR DOOM WILL BE!" > You Need My Help - SSB - Bowser Chapter 2(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to die. The thought keeps going through my head. Turning, over, and over, and over. Never stopping. I could go mad from the thought. My body can't move. I don't want to die. Why do I have to die? For what reason? Please. Please don't let me die. It has to be a lie. Please. Please. I'm afraid... for once in my life, I'm not scared, I'm terrified. My eyes finally open. The sun has started to go down and a shadow casts over the town. There was a giant hole in the courtroom. Even worse though, the town is destroyed. While I was unconscious. A plan starts to form in my head as a familiar pony flies by me. I set myself in motion to follow her, as she flies to the forest. You Need My Help Twilight Sparkle I can't believe he did that. Ryu sacrificed himself so that I would live. No, he said that Scorpion would do that, but it still feels like he's gone. If only I had stronger magic. Just stick to what we planned. It will work, he said so. But can I trust him? I stopped flying to think about that. Can i even trust him? What if he's working with Scorpion. Twilight your being ridiculous, he put his life at risk to save Ponyville from that monster. Not only that, but Scorpion tried to kill Ryu. And succeeded. No, he said that he could live through that. Which part did he mean though, the fire or the stabbing. I can't keep debating this, I have to get to my friends so we can defeat Scorpion. As I heard my wings started to flap I noticed that there seemed to be an echo. An echo that sounded like bigger wings. Coming from behind me... that's not an echo. I turn around to find a manticore. "Ah horsefe-" The manticore's paw shoots out and hits me. Knocking off my flying. I find myself flying towards the ground. This is not good. CRASH! Ow ow ow ow ow ow owww. My wings ended up behind my back. I try to stretch them up but pain flares up all along them. Maybe I can get myself up and run the rest of the way. The manticore crashed down onto the ground. Across from me. While looking at me a bit too hungrily. No, I have to get to my friends. All of the sudden a large sound goes through the forest. Then following the sound I see a large shape jumping high into the air. It lands right in front of me and wait, I recognize this shape. He was supposed to be locked up. Even if it wasn't a perfect containment spell it should hold up against physical force. What is he going to do? Bowser What the hell am I going to do? Twilight Sparkle I shouldn't doubt him. He may be smarter than he looks. In fact I bet that he has a plan to save boh of us. If he's actually helping me. Which if that's the case then his plan would start by running at the manticore... Bowser I really should have thought this out better. I literally jumped in the sky and stood in front of this purple pony princess, with no plan whatsoever. Twilight Sparkle ...so that he would take all three of the new manticores and find a way to get them to trip over each other... Bowser This has to be my worst plan ever, and I was the one who came up with the idea to deliver candy to children in white vans for my friend's charity. I think I deserved that punch. Twilight Sparkle ...thus stopping all the manticores, timberwolves, and various cockatrices safely and without causing harm to any of them. He's brilliant! Bowser I'm going to punch it. In the face. I put my right foot back and get ready to run. Twilight Sparkle He started to back up. He's actually doing it! After taking a few steps he ran forward. Every step the ground shook from his massive size. Finally he was right in front of the manticore giving him the perfect chance to make the dodge that woul- ...he punched the manticore. I breathe out a sigh. Bowser Yeah! I punched a thing. Well... it seemed more fun when I first thought of it. Anyways the manticore was angry so I punched it in the face again. Then again. Then again. Okay never mind what I said, this is way more fun than I thought. But the manticore had obviously had enough. He swiped his paw across my face. It was that moment that I realized we were the exact same size. Ok that's an exaggeration, he was way smaller than me. So I decided to do the best thing I could think of. I backed up and dropkicked him into space. In reality though, he sailed through the air before landing somewhere far in the forest. I finally turn to Twilight, she flinches at me looking at her. I'll admit, it hurt a little. The ground shakes as I walk over to Twilight. This doesn't help her obvious fear of me. I sit down in front of her. It was obvious the tension was thick. Then I decided to break the ice, "I'm sorry I tried to kill you and your friend." She gave me a look that I couldn't quite place, but I guessed that she was irritated. Don't have a single idea why. She sighed and looked at me, "How, why are you here?" "Well, my dad was very drunk one nig-" "NO! No! I meant why did you come save me?" "First, tell me, why are you going out into the forest alone." She looked to the ground before saying, "Following a plan, to stop someone who harmed one of our friends." "Then I'm here to help." "Why would you want to?" "So that maybe I could redeem myself for what I did." "Well," Twilight looked to be thinking, "If you help us out then we can think about starting to forgive you." "That's all I ask." "Now can you help me." "Uh-" "I can't move." One Short Walk Later "-so our plan is that Ryu has ten minutes to grab hold off Scorpion. He has to grab onto Scorpion or the plan won't work." While I had to carry Twilight, (apparently she had a broken ankle or something) she started to explain the plan. My part would be helping Ryu, the one who completely beat me in the town. Finally we arrived at the place Twilight was talking about. I walked in an- "Hey! What are you doing here? You want to be beat again?" Oh no, I have an extreme irritation of the entire gay movement in one pegasus. "It seemed like you needed a lot of help." "Still beat you." I decide to set Twilight down, a small yellow pegasus with tear-stained eyes comes over. She looks around for a small time before saying, "Thank you for helping my friend." Well this isn't as bad as I thought it would be- "Monster! Do not think you're trial is over!" ...god damnit. > The Fight For Life Part 2 - SF V.S. MK - Ryu and Scorpion Chapter 4(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A horrible place. A place that no man, alive or dead, would want to go. The Netherworld. There's no way I could lighten the mood of this situation. I was stuck in what's pretty much hell, with a hole through my stomach, and the man I'm fighting is getting stronger every second he stays here. It seems he's realized the situation too, as he seems to lay back in his chair. He's not even trying. Scorpion looks at me again and seemed to motion for me to sit down. "No," I said, "Why should I do anything you say. You don't intimidate me." The confidence in my voice betraying my actual emotion. "I don't think I will ever be as stupid as you. Because I am sure that you fear me. You just don't know that you do." I look at him again, I knew that I couldn't beat him. The battle was hopeless. I let my head drop. A dark thought rose in my head. One that I knew was not my own. It was a thought of murderous intent. The darkness was attempting to overwhelm me. I knew that I had to resist. But even I didn't have the strength. Suddenly a different feeling poured into my chest. A nice warmth that was destroying the darkness. Of course, I forgot about Plan B. I smirked as confidence filled my heart again. Lifting my head up, Scorpion noticed the smirk on my face. It seemed to take him by surprise. "There's no reason to give up." I spoke, my voice carried through the large chamber, "Not when I know that I can depend on my friends to come through." A warmness spread throughout my whole body as I felt the strange magic work. Light emitted from my hands, surging around my body. I swore I even saw a rainbow light appear on my hand. Scorpion seemed to be taken back, "I bet you weren't expecting this." I jumped at him, prepared to fight by any means necessary. The Fight For Life Part 2 Scorpion It was impossible. He should be dead, not fighting. Yet here Ryu stood clearly deflecting and countering every strike I made against him. I pulled out my single sword again swinging it at his head. He was able to catch it with his hand. Clamping down on the sword, cracks made their way down to the hilt of the sword. Ryu twisted his hand and the sword broke apart into thousands of pieces. I backed up trying to escape from whatever this monster was. Ryu looked at me and smirked. This ignited anger inside myself. I was not going to be a fool. I am stronger than he ever could become. My fists ignite in fire and I run at him. I swing out my left fist at him, he dodges under it and punches me in the jaw. He keeps punching me in the jaw. Using both of his fists. Finally I knee him in the jaw while he was punching me. As his head flies up I jump over him, grab his head, pull it over myself, and throw him into the ground. I pull out a huge axe. One that looks similar to an Ono. I take the axe and swing down on the center of his chest. The axe digs itself deep into his chest. Blood seeping out of the wound. He smirks grabs the axe, jumps up into the air and flings it back at me. I get flung back a distance but keep on my feet. I grab the axe and dislodge it from my head. The axe has clear digns of blood on it and I take the blood and smear my hand with it. My hand ignites in fire again, and I watch as the blood and fire mix to give my hand a blood red fire coming off of it. I walk up to him and he seems to know what I'm doing. I take the fire and trow it out towards him. A fiery kunai at the end of it. I smirk knowing how much it will hurt him. Ryu Nice try Scorpion. You really thought I would fall for that again? I side step the kunai and, faster than a normal human would be able to see, sever the fire from the kunai. I grab onto the fire, figuring out that he had sent out a rope, and had let the fire catch onto the rope. Scorpion looks like he's trying to pull back the rope, but it's a futile attempt. I give it a light tug, making him nearly fall over right away. Then I pull hard on the rope and swing it to the left. Scorpion flies through the air, still unable to unlatch the rope from his wrist. I wing him around myself, one, two, three time before finally letting go as I watch him fly into a wall. He gets sent back almost immediately towards me. I jump up and kick him. But as soon as I do that I start to also twist my body. My other foot comes around to kick him again. I keep the movement going and keep kicking him repeatedly. The final kick I land on the center of his chest, sending him back into the wall, where he fell against the floor with a thud. I smirk, but it quickly turns into confusion as I see him get up. Scorpion Oh no. You are not going to beat me this easily. I get up and instantly charge him. Instead of punching like normal I take off my mask, flip over him. And breath out a steady stream of fire. He attempts to block the incoming fire, but is obviously unable to prevent most of the fire from hitting him. I take out my longsword and swing it out at his arm. Watching as the fabric splits apart and blood flies upward. I plunge the sword into his shoulder, reach my foot upward positioning it on the hilt and kick downwards. Sending the sword all the way through his arm. Ryu stumbles back and I send out three kunai on ropes that catch him in his other arm. I pull him over and punch him down into the ground. Then I kick my foot down to send him tumbling over the ground, before finally stopping him by sending out my last sword into his other arm. Pinning him into the ground. I walk over slowly, making myself as intimidating as possible. My foot positioned on Ryu's chest I grab onto his head and press down with my foot until I hear a crack, followed by a grunt of pain from him. With my hands still on his head I pull up while pressing down with my foot. Ryu's screams echoing through the chamber, only wanting me to continue further. Suddenly a bright flash of light from behind me and a force of air pushes me off Ryu. I look up to see... no... how is that possible? Ryu I breath in as much air as I can. Suddenly feeling winded after what seemed like an hour long fight. I looked up, and find myself surprised to see a familiar face. Bowser. He carried with him a small bag. Bowser walked over to me and quickly pulled out both swords, before giving me the bag. I look inside to find a small, blue colored, pebble shaped object. "Your supposed to crush it in your hands." Bowser says to me. After pushing my hands together I manage to break the object, and instantly feel the pain subside and my wounds start to fade. Twilight must have created the object. I look up to Bowser, "What are you doing here?" I ask him. "What do you think?" He says, "I'm here to help you with this fight, and from the looks of it, you need my help." Scorpion stands up from where he had fallen back to. "Don't think that even with both of you here you stand a chance against me." He runs at the both of us, but is instantly picked up by Bowser. Bowser holds him up for a second before throwing him into the same wall. Where a large blood splatter had started to appear. Scorpion screamed in frustration and started to kick his foot into the ground. Cracks appeared outwards from his hits. When the cracks ended lava started to spew outward from those cracks. Bowser looked at me before taking a deep breath and releasing a torrent of fire towards Scorpion. Scorpion appeared to catch it and throw it back to Bowser, who seemed to shrug it off as though it were a gust of wind. Bowser started to run forward, Scorpion fired fire from his hands in an attempt to slow Bowser down, but Bowser kept running through each of the blasts finally picking Scorpion up again and slamming him into the ground. I ran over to the fight just as Scorpion was standing up. I punched him square in the back, sending him forward a few feet, before he stopped still on the ground. He stood up slowly again before yelling, "ENOUGH!" His whole body ignited with a fiery explosion and he ran at me. Punching me rapidly. Bowser started to run towards me to help, but Scorpion jumped up on Bowser and flipped him over before throwing him on the ground. Scorpion picked me up by my shirt and dragged me over to a huge hole. I could see at the bottom of it there was lava. He looked at me with a now insane look evident on his fake face through the mask. "You know, I have a friend who looks exactly like you. You'd think I'd feel bad about doing this, but I don't. Not one bit. In fact, Ryan can go fuck himself." I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I looked up at him, "Shane?" He looked taken back, and his grip seemed to loosen, before he suddenly grew very angry, "I've come too far to be stopped now. Not even you can stop me." But it looked like he couldn't do it. The angry red look in his eyes was now replaced with a calming green color. He threw me away from the pit. His hands covered his face, but as he slowly lifted them away blood red eyes stared back. "I don't care, I'll kill anyone who tries to stop me." Bowser charged him from the side and he flew upwards before bouncing off of the ground and landing on his back. Bowser looked at me and I felt a force come from my hand. I looked at it as a rainbow light covered my hand completely. I finally figured out that it was trying to get to Bowser. I threw out my hand as the rainbow light fully covered Bowser. When it had all but disappeared what stood there did not look like how Bowser normally looked. It stood similar to Bowser but appeared to be triple the size of what Bowser was. It had huge horns jutting out of it's head and held a brighter color than what would be expected. This legendary monster could only be Giga Bowser. Giga Bowser looked over at Scorpion before he charged. Swiping at Scorpion to send him flying into the opposite end of the chamber. Giga Bowser jumped over to him sending his back first to crush Scorpion. He finally started to drag Scorpion and held him in front of his mouth. He blew out a scorching blue fire that engulfed Scorpion. Before throwing Scorpion into the hole. Where as he fell he screamed out one final sentence, "I WILL HAVE MY REVEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNGGGGGEEEEEE!" Finally after all the fighting Scorpion had finally been defeated. Bowser looked over at me before suddenly noticing a magenta light coming from his chest. He grabbed onto me quickly and I felt the familiar sense of magic take me into unconsciousness. Ryu I opened my eyes to see a cave illuminated with a light blue light. All around me different ponies and creatures sat. Over to the right of where I was laying I saw four of the six members of the Mane Six. They appeared to be talking about various things. I saw to the left of me sat Bowser, currently being treated by Fluttershy. Who had a stern look on her face as she appeared to be scolding the Koopa King for something. Sitting myself up I saw in front of me, the Tree of Harmony with Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna, and... and... Garret? I didn't care at this moment about the still noticeable healing hole in my chest, or the fact that I had a broken leg. I ran at my friend. A person I thought I would never meet face to face. Garret looked over in my direction surprised at me up, before recognition lighted up on his face. Along with a smile. We reached each other and stood in front of one another, before I finally leaned forward and hugged him. "It's been a long time, Garret." I said. "It really has, Ryan." He replied finally breaking the hug with a smile still on his face, "Although I wish we were meeting under better circumstances." Twilight looked between me and Garret before saying, "You know him?" "Yep, known him for nearly five years. Couldn't ask for a better friend." I respond. "We were just talking about what we were to do next. You two are the only members of your species. With you being a new species it will be a while before you get the same rights as Ponies, so you two will need a place to stay." "The only two people now." I muttered darkly, Garret the only person to hear me mutter. Princess Luna finally added into the conversation, "We were thinking that... Garret, would stay in Canterlot with me, while you could stay in Ponyville with Princess Twilight. After all you have developed quite the relationship with the ponies in that town." Garret who had been content to just listen to the conversation finally added in, "But first, I want to know how and what you did." I was able to answer part of the question, "Me and Twilight came up with a plan before we confronted Scorpion. She would gather the Elements of Harmony and take them to the Tree of Harmony. Then she would help me to subdue Scorpion so we could take him to the tree and zap him, or whatever. Unfortunately the plan failed when I was teleported to the Netherworld. Luckily I had thought of a plan B for the situation, she had given me a magical charm, that could teleport me back to her. So we could prepare for when he returned. Although, it didn't work quite how I expected. I'm not entirely sure what happened after that though." "I can answer from there," Twilight intervened, "After the e=teleportation didn't work I noticed that it still had a magical connection to the charm. So I gathered magic from the Tree of Harmony and sent it through the charm, to help him in the battle. We wanted to make sure he could pull through though, so we sent Bowser through the same connection, with a stronger charm, and a healing pebble," I knew it was a pebble, "After waiting for some time I decided to yank you through the stone. That happened one hour ago now." Wow one hour. "So," Princess Luna looked at me, "What happened to Scorpion? Bowser refuses to tell us what happened." I looked down before responding, "He's... gone. For good." Twilight looked at me in shock, Luna in some form of sympathy, and Garret a look of understanding. I suspected he thought that it was for the better. "But that doesn't matter anymore," I spoke, "Because from now on Equestria will be free from any other evils that could harm it. That I'm sure of." If I knew that those would be my last words I would have chosen something a bit less ironic. I felt a terrible pain from my throat. Looking down I realized it was a sword. A sword that had had it's pieces cobbled together. My eyes shot open in horror, as the world went dark and the sword pulled out, I turned around to see, a skeleton standing there. His words were the last thing I would ever want to hear from him, "I win" And I closed my eyes. > A Scorpion's Sting - MK - Scorpion Chapter April Fools(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The deed was done. I withdrew the blade, watching as Ryu dropped to his knees. I didn't even give him the privilege to even see what was left of his face. My blade swung through his neck. I watched as the head rolled on the ground. My thoughts consumed with murder. A voice tried desperately to talk to me, but I no longer needed reason. The voice subdued after I pictured this world dead. It knew better than to stop me. The ponies looked on in horror. Two of them fainting, another two looking on in horror, one's hair fell over their face which was looked down as tears fell from it. The last one looked on in anger. I loved each emotion. Because deep down I felt it. Hate. Fear. Sadness. Each emotion was so powerful. I didn't question how I could feel the emotions, I knew what they were feeling. Then there was that monster, who thought that I wouldn't come back. Who underestimated me. Finally I saw a man. A regular man. Although something seemed familiar about him. They all looked at me. They knew that I was going to do. I knew that I would enjoy every second of it. It was time. Time for the Scorpion's sting. They would know the pain that came from the poison of their mistakes. A Scorpion's Sting We all stood still. No one dared to make a move. I felt a dark presence moving from underneath the earth. It seems my minions had felt that I had won. That there was no way I could die. Looking around, I realized that the biggest threat to me at the moment was the Princesses. So I knew who I was going to take care of first. Immediately I ran towards the Purple one, but was stopped. The man standing next to them had reached out his fist to stop me. He was glowing a bright orange light. It seems like you want to play. I took out my sword again and stabbed him in the chest. Weaker than I thought. He seemed to be struggling with the sword. So it seemed like I needed to help him out. I grabbed onto his neck. Hoisting him up I took my other hand and pushed my hand into his neck. I felt the bone I was looking for and let go of his neck. Pulling up with my hand I watched as his head ripped out of his body, still with his spine attached to it. Feeling pleasure in the fountain of blood spewing from the stump of his head. The crowd was disgusted. I felt it appropriate to give them a gift to calm them down. So I walked over to the yellow one, who had fainted, and lifted her up by the neck. At this point all the other ponies attempted to run towards me and stop me from what I was going to do. I decided that this was the one who had gotten me into trouble. So she would get her punishment. I lifted up the severed head of the man and let the blood drip on her. Making sure that she got covered in the blood before I dropped the head. Her form moved slightly from the blood drenching her. I hated it. So for her second punishment I lifted her up by her arm and ripped it off. She awoke with a scream, and all the others now decided to attack me. The blue pegasus charged me, I grabbed her throat and threw her into the ground. The orange one attempted to kick me or something so I grabbed her leg and bent it backwards. The crack let me know that I had succeeded. The two alicorns, it think they were called, looked to be charging up their horns for some sort of attack so I walked over to both of them and ripped off their horns. They screamed and I relished in their pain. The ponies didn't attempt to charge me again. Finally my undead minions dug themselves up from the ground. "Grab them, and take them with us to the town." They obeyed and dragged the ponies away. It took more than one to drag the spiked turtle with his size. My sights set on the town, I had the feeling this day would be the best in my life. I looked at my watch, it showed the current time 1:5. Crap it's April Fool's day. That's not the best day to start invading. Maybe tomorrow. I decided to go back to the Netherworld and wait for tomorrow. I had a good feeling about tomorrow. > My Best Friend, My Only Friend - GTA - Garret Chapter 3(BGR) > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I watched as the blade stabbed through my friends neck withdrew. Ryu fell to his knees, turning around and we both got a look at the skeleton that stood before us. All of the skin had burned off of Scorpion. "I win," He said with a growl. I felt something change about myself, Crack. Red appeared in front of my vision in just a quick flash. Another flash. My eye started to twitch and a magma hot feeling rose in my chest. I started to breathe heavily and was starting to scare myself with how much I was losing control. I jerked suddenly as I felt a red hot feeling all over my skin. Red pooled over my vision, and it quickly faded to black. My Best Friend, My Only Friend Third Person Luna was surprised at the figure that stood there. It was obviously who they had been fighting, but she was sure that he was supposed to look different. It appeared as though he was just a skeleton. Luna was wondering how he had even got here when she noticed that standing next to her, Garret was taking in short and progressively aggressive breaths. He clenched his fists then unclenched them looking up. Garret looked up, but it didn't look like Garret anymore. He had red light that was emitting from his eyes. When he spoke his voice was different, as though another more angry person had decided to take over him, "Do you know, how excited I was to see him. I was excited at their possibly being another human being, so that I wasn't alone. I was thrilled that it was my best friend. Then yo- you... you harmed him. Without him even being here for a minute! You took that away from me." "Am I supposed to be scared of you? What are you going to do? Stare me to death? Try to fall on me?" Scorpion cackled and spread out his arms. "Try to hurt me." Garret looked at him and slowly walked over to where the skeleton was standing. He smirked and pulled out a green squareish object with box attached to the side and a red and yellow wires coming out of it. Scorpion seemed to show a surprised look, somehow with only having a skull, and quickly tried to take a step back. Garret jumped at him knocking him down he stuck the object onto Scorpions skull and kicked the rib cage of scorpion to make him stay down. Garret looked and saw that Twilight, Luna, and... Ryu, would be in the blast if he didn't move them. He grabbed ryu by his clothes and heaved him a safe distance of way, thinking he saw movement come from him, but found himself disappointed, and grabbing Twilight and Luna, one in each of his arms, and threw them under him. He pulled out a switch from his pocket and slammed it down onto the ground, as a large explosion erupted from behind him. Debris flew everywhere and he looked back the smoke still clearing. The ponies around him seemed even more terrified of him, and even in his different state Garret still felt slightly hurt by this. Twilight and Luna got up from the ground looking at the smoke. As Twilight was about to speak a kunai came from the smoke. It looked as though it was intended for Garret, but unfortunately impaled Twilight in the stomach. Garret pulled out a knife and cut the rope before Scorpion could pull back. Twilight's friends, all forgetting about their fear of getting injured rushed over to help her. Garret looked as Scorpion came out of the smoke. "See?" said Scorpion, "You can't do anything to me. So have fun for the next few seconds, before you die!" Then just as it seemed he was about to attack Garret, a bright purple light flashed throughout the room. The light was coming from the element in the Tree of Harmony. Suddenly an orange light shown, then blue, purple, yellow, and pink. They all started to come together. All of them pointing directly at Scorpion. Scorpion covered his nonexistent eyes as the colors merged into a rainbow fling at him. "What-" He didn't get to finish his sentence as the light shone through him. As the light died down Garret looked at where Scorpion was standing. Where once there was a skeleton was, still a skeleton. However it now didn't look like bone. Scorpion was turned to stone. His form of him on his knees with his arm spread out behind him. Garret looked back at the ponies, that were now worrying about their friend and the blood coming from her stomach. He looked back at Ryu's co-body. It might be too late for him, but she can be saved. Garret looked contemplative, You'd better do this one, the one controlling Garret thought back, You are the better leader. Garret's body shuddered again before blue light replaced the previous red light. Luna looked at Twilight's friends, not knowing what to do. They were all screaming at each other. Each one of them trying to gain control. She wanted to tell them what to do but she found herself frozen. The death she had seen and the ruthlessness of these people made her remember. Remember back to a darker time. Suddenly Garret ran up. He seemed more authoritative now, and less intimidating. Garret spoke with a voice of power as well, "Is she still breathing?" "Yes" Fluttershy's normally meek voice stood out over the arguing of he friends. "Than you can still save her." Garret pointed at Rainbow Dash, "You, pick her up and get her to the hospital." Rainbow Dash turned around as though she wanted to retaliate, but a quick glance at Garret and she picked Twilight up, carrying her off. "Everyone else we have to get to the hospital quickly." Luna saw him look at the body of his friend again. He walked over to Ryu and picked him up. Garret sounded like he was whispering something to him before turning around and saying, "Let's go." Luna made to follow before she stopped herself. How did Garret know that Rainbow Dash would be able to get Twilight to the hospital? She dismissed it for another time. Before she opened her wings though she noticed two things strange. The fact that nearby where Ryu had been there was two small spots of water, that she was sure hadn't been there before. Then she looked over at where Bowser was, seeing that the spot was empty of the turtles. She followed the footsteps until she saw them lead deeper into the Everfree Forest. Then she turned around and spread her wings to fly to the hospital. Garret was running next to the ponies. Even with the added weight he knew he was currently running the fastest he had ever been before. He looked down at his friend he was carrying. Blood still seemed to be coming out of his bullet wound. He felt himself going faster and looked up to see he had gone ahead of the rest of the group. The hospital was in sight over the rest of the buildings in the town now. He kept running through stalls, ponies, and anything that got in his way. As he approached the hospital he realized that he wasn't going to be able to slow down in time to not hit the door. So taking a huge breath he readied the impact and charged ahead. A giant crash he heard as glass fell around him. Some had pierced into his skin. Blood pouring out of the holes in his skin like magma from a volcano. Garret groaned and turned himself around seeing all the glass around him. He took a look at the frightened nurse in front of him, "I don't have to pay for that do I?" Garret said before his vision was once again consumed with darkness. The ponies ran into the hospital, being careful to not touch the glass. They saw the hospital staff putting the new arrivals on stretchers to take them to their rooms, knowing they would be safe they all headed to find where Twilight was. First Person: Garret I woke up to feel the softness of a bed enveloping me into it's fluffy blankets. No that's not what I felt. Not even close. I awoke to feel my whole body hurt like hell and the blankets weren't that comfy. In fact they were the exact opposite. Opening my eyes and taking time to let them adjust to the brightness I realized why. Blood was on the bed. Bed. I didn't remember falling asleep. I didn't remember bleeding. As I started to question my surroundings the door to my room opened, it was Princess Luna and a doctor. At least he looked like one. The doctor had opened the door for Luna and he nodded at her, looked at me with a mixture of sadness and a flash of... anger? Then he closed the door. I sat myself up and Luna took the chair to the right of my bed. She looked down thoughtfully before asking, "How are you doing?" "Well besides waking up having no idea why I'm in a hospital with blood all over me, and this being the second time in this world that I've woken up in a bed... I'm great. Absolutely fine." The sarcasm dripped over my words like, well, like the blood all over me. Conflict danced in her eyes before she spoke again, "You don't remember?" "I remember parts of what happened earlier today... I think." She looked at me again with sad eyes, "You didn't black out today. Garret, you've been unconscious for five days." I couldn't believe my ears, "What?" "You brought Ryu here so that he could be operated on after he was... injured." "I did? I don't remember doing that." I thought about it carefully and realized that it had happened again. I had blacked out and experienced that again. Suddenly it clicked with me how my best friend was hurt. Luna must have seen my eyes go wide as she quickly spoke. "Don't worry Garret. Ryu is in a room. He is... stable right now." "I need to see him." I began taking out the tubes and wires that were connected to my body. Luna stood up and attempted to stop me but I pushed her hands away. "Garret you can't, you need to rest you're injuries are bad as well." "No, I don't need to rest. I need to see him." I had gotten up and already felt pain throughout my body. Every step seemed to be hurting me. I felt a coolness wrap around my body and saw a blue light on the corners of my vision. My steps seemed to become less tiring and a few seconds later I was able to walk. I looked back at Luna and saw her panting. "It's hard to do spells like that, they require magic and strength." She looked up at me, "Go see him. He's in room 87." She sat down in her chair again, looking very tired. I ran through the halls. Nearly knocking over multiple people in the process. Unluckily for many doctors I was not going to be stopped. I ran through the halls counting the numbers down until I finally reached room 87. The door nearly broke from how hard I swung it open. Ryu was lying down on the bed. His face and neck were covered in bandages. Which was good, because I could barely take the sight of seeing him with bandages. I heard hoofsteps from behind me and turned to see the dame doctor that had brought Luna in my room. He had a dark red coat and bright blue eyes that contrasted greatly. The doctor didn't even seem to be surprised by my appearance. He looked at me in the eyes and said, "Are you his friend." "Yes, why?" I said taken a bit off guard with the question rather than a demand that I get out of the room. "I figured so. From the way you brought him in," I felt a slight hotness in my cheeks. He seemed to notice, "Don't worry, Princess Luna said that she would pay for the repairs of the glass door," He looked behind himself to see the nearly destroyed door, "And I assume that that will be covered as well. Anyways the reason that I ask is because you are the only other member of his species," The only other one alive, "So you have to decide on whether to go through an operation or not." "Operation?" "Yes, it's an operation that if done, will allow you're friend to go on living. Almost unaffected. All we have to do is fix the parts of his throats by cutting it open and healing him with concentrated magic in specific parts of his throat. It's a very good opposite compared to not taking the surgery, and keeping him on magical healing. He likely won't survive from that healing so-" "What did you mean by almost unaffected?" The doctor for the first time looked downcast, "If the operation is done... Ryu will never be able to speak again." The statement hit me hard. I had to lean against the wall to prevent from falling over. The doctor noticed my nervousness, "I'll give you some time to think about what to do." He turned and closed the door as much as he could. I didn't know what I was going to do. What do I do? My choices both end up badly. On one hand I can just not do anything to save my friend and possibly let my friend die. On the other, my friend could end up never to speak another word again. What was I going to do? After several hours of debate I decided. I went outside and told the doctor my choice. He nodded and gave me a sincere look, as I could only remember back to his last words, "Equestria will be free of any other evils." I looked down at myself and saw my hands turn into shadowed claws. The thoughts of what else might have happened while I had blacked out. What other things had I done? I realized that Equestria may be free on the surface, but hiding in the depths is where the real evils hide. Where my evils are. Ignore the double author's note at the top. There's also a reference with Ryu's door number. Let's see if someone can figure it out. Thanks for reading and I hope to get the next one out sooner. See ya.
