		"you're doing great, sweetie bell, just a little more." said twilight to the white unicorn in front of her. Sweetie bell's horn glowed brighter as she put a little more energy into the spell. Suddenly, with a small flash of light a popping sound, a parasprite appeared in front of her.
She let out a squeal of joy as she opened her eyes and saw that her latest attempt at the summoning spell had been successful. 
"great job, sweetie!" said applebloom from the table where she was practicing her potion making. She had just completed her apple enhancement potion and was putting a cork in the bottle.
"Yeah, you finally managed to do it." Added scootaloo, as, with a final turn, she tightened the last screw in the motor she was working on.
"thanks girls, it looks like you're through with your projects too."
"good job, for all three of you. It looks like you're all ready to move to the next level of your studies. But that will have to wait until next week, your time is up." said twilight as she examined the fruits of their labor. 
As the three friends left the library, sweetie bell said to her two friends," meet me at the club house tomorrow, i have something i want to show you two."
"So do i," said applebloom.

The next day, Saturday.
As Sweetie bell entered the club house the next day, she heard her two friends arguing about something.
"What are you two arguing this time?"
"well," said applebloom "A little while back i received this strange seed,and i was curios, so i planted it to see what it would grow into, and this is what sprouted." She pointed a finger at the table. On it sat a large green and red bunch of fruit about the size and shape of a bunch of bananas. "I think it's a devil fruit."
"No it's not, its just a bunch of ugly bananas!" Said scootaloo, her wings buzzing in frustration.
"What is a devil fruit anyway?" Asked sweetie bell.
At this, Applebloom said "As i understand it, they are a type of magical fruit that, when eaten, grants the one who ate it great power. Further more, they are divided into three different categories, Zoan, Logia, and Paramecia. But there is one down side to the devil fruit. who ever eats it loses the ability to swim, forever."
"Really?"
"Really, they sink like a rock. Plus there are other weaknesses depending on the particular devil fruit."
"Like what." Asked sweetie, intrigued.
"Well, take the wax-wax fruit for instance. It lets a pony produce massive amounts of wax that is supposed to be strong as iron, but when the wax is exposed to intense heat, it melts. Also the wax can be shaped into any form instantly."
"Well, that does seem kind of useful." Said scootaloo.
"Well, forget about that for now girls, check out this spell book i found on Friday in Twilight's Basement!"
From her bag, she pulled a book with the title "interdimensional summoning". 
"Interdimensional summoning? whats that?" asked applebloom as she studied the cover of the tome.
"Well, going from what i saw when i took a quick peek inside, i think the spells in this book will let me summon creatures from other dimensions." she said
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" asked scootaloo, a nervous look crossing the young Pegasus' face. "the last time you tried a spell you didn't know much about, you ended up filling carousal boutique with tickle bugs."
"Yeah," said applebloom as she shuddered, "i still have nightmares about."
"This will be different, You'll see. Last time, i didn't have much experience with this kind of thing. Besides, i plan on doing this spell out side, where we will be able to put distance between ourselves and whatever appears quickly, if we need to."
After they found a part of sweet apple acres that was deserted and sufficiently far away from the house, sweetie bell prepared the summoning scroll and placed it on the ground and stood back.
"Well, here goes nothing." she said and began chanting the incantation. As she focused energy into her horn, it began to glow brightly. As she continued to chant, the glow got brighter and a breeze started blowing out of nowhere. The scroll on the ground in front of her started to glow as well and seemed to expand. As scootaloo and applebloom watched, the scroll seemed to grow to immense proportions and sink into the ground, replaced by a portal of equal size.
"Look at sweetie bell, I think something's going wrong with the spell." said applebloom. As they watched, the expression on her face went from one of concentration to one of severe strain. "Shit, i think she's losing control of the spell! I knew this was a bad idea."
Suddenly, there was a loud pop and there was a log cabin stand where the scroll was and sweetie bell was laying on the ground, out cold. As applebloom and scootaloo watched, the door to the cabin opened and a figure stepped out. it stood about six feet tall, was rather fat, carried a large stick in one hand, and a tiny orange kitten sat on its shoulder. "What the hell is going on out here?" 
It suddenly noticed sweetie bell lying on the ground, took the kitten off its shoulder, told it to stay on the porch, and started walking towards her. At that moment though, a rainbow colored blur landed in between them.
"Its rainbow dash!" scootaloo said as her idol confronted the strange creature. They exchanged words for a few moments, it getting rather heated at the end, and rainbow suddenly threw a punch that ended up laying the creature out cold.

The first thing that greeted him upon waking was an immense pain in his head. The second thing was the meowing of a hungry kitten. "Okay Franky, okay, just give me a second to get something for this h-whoa!" suddenly, something large and pink slammed into his chest, knocking him back onto the couch where he just lay, trying to get back the wind that had been knocked out of him as the pink thing sitting on cried out in a bubbly voice, "Hey, girls, its awake!" 
As the pink creature sat on his chest, he studied it and quickly realized two things 1) it was female and 2) she was completely naked. Suddenly, the sound of other people approaching reached his ears. As they entered the room he noticed that were all unclothed and female. Further more two of them had wings, one had a horn, and another had both wings and a horn. The one with both wings and a horn and said "my name is twilight sparkle and these are my friends, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, the one sitting on your chest is Pinkie pie, and i believe you've already met Rainbow dash."
As she introduced each one, they stepped forward and offered a greeting. 
Applejack was covered in what appeared to be tan fur with a stetson on her head with blond hair. "Howdy" she said with a little wave. Rarity had pure white fur with long dark purple hair that was perfectly coiffed, and a long horn on her forehead. "charmed, deary." Rainbow dash had light blue fur with long rainbow colored hair and wings. She just glared at him silently.
Fluttershy was light yellow with long pink hair and an equally long tail and a pair of wings also. "Hello," she squeaked. 
Pinkie pie was, as her name suggested, bright pink with a darker shade of pink for her hair and tail. "Hello! Do you want to be friends,do you like parties-" her string of questions was suddenly cut off as a purple light enveloped her and lifted her off of him.
"What is your name, pray tell? And pinkie, what have i told you about doing that to guests?" said twilight. 
He sat up and studied them for a moment, than said, "My names Jaruk Richardson ." Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his foot. When he looked down, he saw that a fluffy orange kitten was chewing on his foot. "There you are Franky, i was wondering where you went to, have you behaved yourself?" the kitten looked up at him and meowed, then proceeded to bite him again. Then, deciding to ignore the fact that they were all butt naked for the moment, he turned to them and said,  "Oh, can any of you lovely ladies tell me where i am?"
They all blushed at that, and twilight, who seemed to be acting as spokesperson, or, in this case, spokespony, for the whole group, said "You're in the golden oak library, located in ponyville." 
His eyes widened in surprise at that, then narrowed as he thought, "Shit, no wonder they looked so familiar, I'm in equestria!"
"Could one of you please tell me how i got here? The last thing i remember is skittles over there," at this he pointed to rainbow, and she shot him a dirty look "punching me in the face just outside my cabin." 
"Well, we thought that it might be a good idea to bring you here so that we could examine you and determine if you were dangerous or not."
"Well, you don't have to worry about me in that regard. I'm not the kind of person that goes around hurting others for shits and giggles. The only time i would consider any sort of violence is if i was severely provoked."
A skeptical look crossed twilight's face as said, "That's not what rainbow said. She claimed that she found you standing over sweetie bell, who was unconscious, holding a large stick."
Jaruk, deciding to keep his knowledge of their world to him self until he could talk to Celestia and Luna, just played along, "So that's her name. Well, i didn't lay a finger on her. I found her like that. As for the stick, I keep that laying around for in case someone breaks in."
Suddenly, Franky sank his fangs into jaruk's hand and started chewing. "OW! I have just one more question for you," he said. "And what is that?" Said Twilight. "Can i head back to my place so i can feed Franky before he chews my hand off? He tends to get a little mean when hes hungry." 
She stood there thinking for a moment before she answered. "Of course, we can't have the poor thing going hungry now can we?"

	
> Explanations

	After twilight had spike send a message to princess Celestia informing her of where to meet them, they started toward sweet apple acres jaruk and the mares he was traveling with garnered a lot of nervous looks and mutters. For him, this was a mild source of amusement as he made faces at the ponies who stared at him. Fluttershy had been watching him awhile when she said "Did you hurt your leg when you arrived? your limping."
He looked at her and said "Well, i got jumped a couple years back by a couple of thugs who thought that i looked like an easy mark, but they quickly learned that i am a whole hell of a lot meaner than i look when i am feeling cornered, but i took a knife to the knee in the process, and it didn't heal right. Now, can we get back to my place? The look that unicorn is giving me is making me really nervous."
The unicorn in question was mint green with long white hair and a lyre for a cutie mark. There was a surprised look on her face, but there was also a bit of maniacal glee mixed in.
As they started walking again, she followed them. When they sped up, she sped up. It soon became an all out high speed chase through ponyville. They finally managed to get away from her when twilight teleported everyone to sweet apple acres. Once there it took a few minutes for them to recover from the sudden teleportation.
"Who the hell was that pony? She looked like she wanted to have her way with me!"
The girls all giggled at that, then twilight said, "That was Lyra. Shes been going on for years about how humans are real, but nopony ever believed her. so when she saw you, you can imagine her excitement."
He just nodded at this and said, "Well, i was wondering, why is everyone here naked? Not that I'm complaining.
She looked puzzled for a moment, then said "Well, except for when there is bad weather or for formal events, we don't usually need them. Our fur gives us all the protection we need."
He seemed to think this over for a moment, then shrugged in acceptance.
At his cabin they found that someone had closed his front door. As he opened the front door, a large living room was revealed. The walls were covered with bookshelves. On the far wall was a TV with an Xbox 360 hooked up to and a small collection of games and movies on the shelf above it. The rest of the shelves were loaded with books of every kind. The furniture was made from pecan wood and was well worn but beautiful and well cared for. The kitchen was sparsely furnished, with a table, some chairs, a stove, and a fridge Furthermore, it seemed that he had visitors.  Five ponies sat in his kitchen. The largest one was pure white with a long mane that seemed to be blowing in a breeze that only affected her. On her head sat a crown and a horn. she also had a pair of large white wings on her back and what looked like a large necklace with her cutie mark on it. As she stood up, it was quite obvious that she, like every other pony that he had met up to this point wore absolutely no clothes. 
"Hello, you must be the creature that twilight told me about in her letter. Jaruk, is it? I am princess Celestia, the co-ruler of Equestria. And this is my sister princess Luna." At this introduction, another pony stood up. she was a bit shorter than Celestia, and was covered in blue fur that was so dark that it was almost black. She also wore a crown and necklace, but they were black instead of gold. " I am pleased to meet you as well. But i must say, you are rather odd looking aren't you?" 
As jaruk turned and went to the cabinet, he said "Well, for a human I'm fairly normal, but compared to the people living around here i guess i would seem rather strange." As he pulled out a bowl, a spoon, and a can of cat food and set Frankie down, he then began preparing it as he turned to the three other ponies sitting at his kitchen table and asked "Now who might you three young ladies be?"
The first one to answer was tan with long red hair done up with a red bow. "I'm applebloom, I'm applejack's younger sister." She said then sat down. Next up was a light orange Pegasus with a purple mane and small wings. "I'm scootaloo." She was obviously the tomboy of the group. Finally, the last one to stand up was a white unicorn with purple, two toned hair. "Hi, I'm sweetie belle. I'm rarity's little sister." She said shyly before sitting down. 
"Well, its nice to meet all of you, I'm jaruk. Why don't the three of you go get something to read off of one of the bookshelves in the living room?"
As they ran off to do so, he put the bowl of food down in front of the kitten and said "Well, take a seat. I'm hoping that someone here can tell me how i got here."
As they all sat down, twilight said, " well, i may be able to answer that question. You see, yesterday i went up to the attic to retrieve a book called interdimensonal summoning, only to discover that it was missing. I believe that sweetie belle took it and performed one of the spells in that book, pulling you into our world. What her intentions were, we don't know."
"Well," He said with a raised eyebrow, "Why don't you call her in here and ask her?" He said. At this, she turned and said "Sweetie belle, would you come in here for a moment please?"
As the young unicorn stepped around the corner, a nervous look on her face, Jaruk turned to Celestia and Luna and said "Princesses, would you step into my office with me for a moment? I have something that i would like to discuss with you in private."
"Of course." Said Celestia as all three of them stood up and her and Luna followed him down the hall and into a small office, where he closed and locked the door.
The first thing he said to them after all they were sitting around the desk was "Do either of you know any spells that will keep everyone inside from hearing what we are discussing?"
They both nodded. 
"Would you please cast it then? The topic that i must discuss with you is rather sensitive."
Luna concentrated and there was a flash of light. " there," she said, "now, what is it you wanted to discuss?"
He closed his eyes for a moment to get every thing straight, then said, "First, i must ask you one question. Your answer to this question will determine how long this takes."
"And what is this Question?" said Luna.
"Do you ponies have television?"
They both looked surprised at this, then Celestia said "Yes, we do. Is that a problem?"
"No, in fact this will go a lot faster because of that. Now, back in my world, i was a member of called the brony brigade. This group helped to spread the message of a t.v. show called "My little pony: friendship is magic." This show followed the adventures of six mares from a place called ponyville and promoted tolerance and acceptance of others despite their differences. Those mares are now sitting in my kitchen. All of you looked just a bit different in the show though. Furthermore one of the ponies, a unicorn known as sweetie bell, in this cabin is the reason i am here in equestria, instead of back home, going about my business. Out of respect, i thought that you two would like to know this. I will also keep this information to my self until you decide that if its okay to let everyone else in on this. Any questions?" 
They looked thoughtful for a moment, then Celestia said "How do we know that you are telling us the truth? And what did you mean when you said that we look just a bit different from the characters in this show of yours?"
He looked thoughtful for a moment, then he reached into the desk that he was sitting at and pulled out a large white binder and placed it in front of them.
"Now, i can't show you the various movies i have because i don't have any power, but the contents of this binder should answer both of those questions fairly well. Go ahead and take a look."
As Celestia opened the binder, pages upon pages of cards were revealed to the princesses. As her and Luna flipped through the binder, a thoughtful look crossed both their faces.
She left Luna to flipping through it, turned to him and said, "Well, this has answered both of my questions quite well. But i think that you should go ahead and tell the element bearers what you just told us, but how much you tell them i am leaving up to you. Now we must return to canterlot." By this time, Luna had finished flipping through the binder. "I just happened to notice that you are a gamer. Perhaps we shall meet up on the gaming circuit." she said. She then deactivated the sound proof spell, and they teleported away.
As he walked out of the office, a thoughtful expression on his face, Twilight was just finishing up questioning sweetie bell.
As he sat down at the table Frankie, who had finished eating, climbed in to his lap and started cleaning himself.
He petted Frankie for a moment, who promptly turned around and started gnawing on his hand, then turned to twilight and said, "Well, did she say why she took the spell book and summoned me?"
She looked at him and said, "Well, it seems that she was planning on making whatever she managed to summon her familiar."
He looked at her and asked, "Did she say what prompted this?"
"Well, it seems that there were some foals at school who were giving her a hard time about her lack of skill with magic. So she came up with this plan to prove them wrong."
Jaruk heaved a heavy sigh. "So, you're telling me that i was pulled away from my own world, where i had friends, family, and a job that i enjoyed, things that at this point, i don't know if I'll ever be able to get back to, just so some teenager could make a point, and gain what amounts to a slave in the process?"
"That's what it looks like so far." 
"Well, shit. So, Will i be able to get back home one day?"
"Maybe, maybe not the spell that she used is meant as a kind of one way tunnel."
"Okay, i have one more question."
"What is it?"
"How would she have made me her familiar?"
"Well, ideally, the spell that would bind you to her as a familiar would also be woven into the summoning spell, but it seems that she didn't include it."
"So, since she didn't include this binding spell, I'm not bound to her?"
"That is correct. Although she could also perform the spell at a later date and still achieve the same effect."
Fluttershy looked out the window, saw that it was getting dark, and said , "It's getting late. I need to get back and feed all my animal friends. Angel bunny gets especially cranky if he's not fed on time."
At this, the others agreed and they all got up to leave. As they got to the door, " he said "Twilight, and this goes for the rest of you as well, feel free to borrow any of my books that catch your interest. I've got bookcases lining all the rooms, except for the kitchen and the bathroom, and they're all packed. I have a little of everything except pure romance. I expect them to be returned when you're through with them. "
At this, she let a delighted squeal and ran over to the nearest bookshelf and started examining books. As the others left with a shake of their heads and a small chuckle, Twilight turned to him and said "How come you don't have any romance novels?"
"Well, it's not that i don't like romance, i just don't like it being the sole focus of a story."
She nodded than said, "Well, i must be going." She then left with a large stack of books held in her magic.
As he closed the door and went about making his supper, The thought that went through his mind was , "And to think , when i woke up this morning i thought that it was going to be a boring day."
