Stunning.... > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- In a late afternoon in Ponyville, Rarity was in her house and workplace, the Carousel Boutique, working on the newest stock of purple dresses, particularly on the last dress. She had been working for most of the morning; measuring, cutting, and stitching away. Finally, Rarity cut the slim edges of a purple fabric and stitched it right onto the final dress, which was simply being worn by a pony mannequin. She levitated her red glasses with her magic and swept the sweat drops out of her forehead. Yes! They're all done! Rarity thought to herself as she hovered the latest gown on the clothing rack. Suddenly, there was a jingle downstairs. Oh, a custumer! Rarity thought. "Hold on, I'm coming down, darling!" she shouted as she trotted down the stairs. I didn't expect them to arrive that fast... "Welcome to the Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chi- Gah!" Rarity's slogan announcement was interrupted because of the newfound custumer that was standing in front of her eyes. This new pony had blue spots that covered most of her black coat, and a patch of blue covered the pony's muzzle. It had gargantuan and ruffled mane that had a blend of both the colors pink and yellowish green. On its legs, the pony had silver and gold ankle bracelets (Very expensive ones). It also had blue tips on each of the pony's hooves. To top that off, it had dragon eyes and wings and long red horns extending from the head. Dear Celestia... and I thought that Zecora's stripes were bad.. Rarity thought as she stared in shock at this new pony. Rarity wildly shook her head to remain conscious. Now Rarity, this is your custumer. You don't want to be awfully rude to him... or is it a her? Rarity cleared her throat and spoke to the client. "Heh, sorry about that. I just... get a little bit excited over... new custumers!" she lied. "Oh, how discourteous of me! Greetings, I'm Rarity. What is your honorific?" "My name is Everblazing, princess of the Everfree Forest," the pony said. Princess? Oh, it's a mare. Also, I'm not actually surprised that this thing has Everfree nobility. In fact, if the Everfree Forest even has virtue ranks! Rarity thought. "Marvelous name... So, uh, how may I help you today?" "I'm looking for an outfit that suits my taste," Everblazing said. "Oh! Well, I'll return to you in a moment, dear. I think I have just the thing!" Rarity then trotted upstairs to her bedroom and came down with a rack of the purple dresses. "I just made the last one. I call them "Pretty in Purple". So, what do you think, um, Princess EverBlazing?" the abstract princess put a hoof to her chin and pondered. "I'm not the pony who prefers these kind of dresses," she said. "Okay... well then," Rarity said, slightly insulted. "I'll just look around your shop to see what else you have," Princess Everblazing said. She turned around scanned the room. Rarity noticed something that was on the princess's flank. "Oh my, what happened?" Everblazing turned around, confused. "Y-Your flank, how did you get that scratch?" Rarity asked, concerned and curious. "That's not a scratch. That's my cutie mark," the princess said. Rarity instantaneously became dumbfounded. ".....Excuse me? Your what?" "My cutie mark," "So... then what is it supposed to be, then?" "It's actually a red line. A lot of ponies confuse that with a scratch," ...Still...what? I'm not even going to question that. "....Alright then. So, have you decided your choice of what you request?" "Hmm, not yet. I'm still searching for something," Princess Everblazing then turned and faced a wall of curtains. She pointed her hoof in that direction. "What's over there?" Everblazing asked. "That's where I keep my... abominations of creations," Rarity replied. "Hmm, may I see what's behind the curtains?" "Um... sure. You may help yourself... I guess," Princess Everblazing's horn glowed with an aura of a bright orange. Not even her magic matches her physical qualities... The princess pulled the purple curtains out of her way with her magic, and revealed five flamboyant dresses. Princess Everblazing's dragon eyes widened in awe. "Those are the dresses I made a long time ago. I was doing a fashion show and tried to fulfill all my friends' requests, but what came out of it was... this. Forgive me of this awf-" "I love them!" Rarity's mind officially broke. What in the absolute buck... she thought as the princess admired each of the horrendous by stroking each of the gowns' fabric and looking intensely at the atrocious accessories. Accents that are worse than Zecora's and a fashion taste worse than Maud Pie's... Dear Celestia, help me. While Rarity was in her mind-broken state, Princess Everblazing was still praising the attire. "Look at all of these choices! I-I don't know what to choose! May I have them all?" Rarity snapped out of her "what the buck" state, but she was still utterly confused. "They're not for sale, though," Rarity said. Princess Everblazing had a disappointed pout. "Aw, oh well. I'll come back some day to che-" "No, don't come back! Royalty or not, get out of here!" Rarity urgently headbutted Everblazing out the door, slammed it shut, and hung a sign that said "CLOSED". Rarity slid on the door and crossed her hooves. "My goodness, such a dreadful pony, I'm just glad that's over..."
