Rarity finds a baby filly on her doorstep so she and her husband Trenderhoof decide to take care of her.
One night, Rarity finds a sleeping baby filly on her doorstep named "Christabelle" or Belle for short. So she and her husband Trenderhoof decide to raise her. But Belle goes through bullying and other problems through out her life.
On a dark and stormy night, Rarity was sipping a cup of tea while reading a book at her home, Carousel Boutique. Her husband of a month, Trenderhoof, was working on his blog "What's Trending Today?" (Clever name, right?) Her little sister, Sweetie Belle, was sleeping peacefully.
"Oh August, you're so dreamy", said Rarity reading her book, "I wish Trend could be more like you"
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Rarity opened it and saw there was nothing. She looked down and saw a basket with a blanket in it. A note was on it. Rarity used her magic to pick it up and read it.
Dear Sir/Ma'am,
If you are reading this note, I am probably already gone and you have found my foal in the basket…
"Foal?", questioned Rarity
She looked into the basket and saw a yellow unicorn filly with a blond mane. The filly opened her eyes and saw that they were the same color as Rarity's. Suddenly, thunder and lightning struck and the filly started to cry.
"Oh heavans", said Rarity picking up the basket with her magic and carried her inside. Then, she kept reading the note.
The foal is a filly and her name is Golden Belle. I called her that because of her coat color. I had to give her away because Im a young mother and my coltfriend left me when he found out. I thought I could handle being a mom but it turns out I can't. So she's your problem now.
Rarity put the note down and looked at the foal.
"What a horrible mother", said Rarity holding Golden Belle, "But that is a beautiful name"
Suddenly, Trend walked downstairs.
"Rarity, are you alright?", asked Trend noticing the filly, "And were you pregnant?"
"No darling", replied Rarity "I found her on our doorstep. Her name is Golden Belle"
"She kinda looks like me", said Trend holding her.
"Yeah, kind of"
"So, what are we gonna do with her?"
"We'll take her to the orphanage so she can have a better life then that horrid mother gave her."
"Why can't we raise her?"
"Well, between my fashion line and your blog we just don't have the time to raise any children."
"So, your saying you don't want any kids?"
"No I do. Just not now."
"Ok. So where is she gonna sleep?"
"She'll just stay in our room til tomorrow."
Trend and Rarity took Golden Belle to their room and went to sleep.
The next day, Rarity and Trend woke up to Golden Belle crying, so they walked downstairs and fed her some of Applejack's homemade apple sauce. Then, Sweetiebelle walked into the kitchen. Sweetiebelle was different now that she's earned her cutie mark along with her fellow crusaders. Her cutie mark was a pink heart with a music note. She earned it after singing at Rarity and Trend's wedding.
"Morning Rarity…morning Trend…morning random baby I don't know", greeted Sweetiebelle walking by. She stopped when she noticed Golden Belle, "Hey wait…RARITY, WERE YOU PREGNANT?!"
"Why does everypony keep asking that?", asked Rarity, "No, I found her on my doorstep yesterday. Her name is Golden Belle."
"Hi Golden Belle, I'm Sweetie Belle. Hey wait, we both have Belles in our names. Were the two belles" cooed Sweetie Belle, "Im your Aunt Sweetie were gonna have lots of fun together. I'll teach you how to sing, style your mane, and I'll even let you be a crusader."
"Um Sweetie Belle", said Rarity, "Trend and I aren't keeping her."
"Why not?", asked Sweetie Belle
"Well, between my work and Trend's blog, we don't have time for children right now."
Rarity used a wash cloth to wipe Belle's face and used her magic to levitate her.
"So, we're going to the adoption agency to give her a better family."
"Um, Rarity…", said Sweetie Belle
"Yes darling?"
"Today is Sunday."
Rarity's eyes went wide, and she gave Belle to Trend.
"Can you hold her for a second?", asked Rarity
She ran to the living room, and screamed in a pillow. Then Belle started to laugh.
After Rarity was calm, she started to walk upstairs.
"I gotta get to work", said Rarity, "Can you two watch Belle?"
"Sure, Sis", replied Sweetie Belle, picking up Belle.
"Ok good", replied Rarity walking upstairs , "If you need anything, you know where to find me."
"I'll be right back", said Sweetie Belle, running upstair.
She came back down holding a basket with her magic.
"Whatcha got there?", asked Trend holding Belle.
"A basket full of my old toys that Belle can play with", replied Sweetie Belle dumping the toys out.
Belle started playing with the toys. Then, she grabbed a white fluffy object and pulled on it. The object turned out to be the tail of Rarity's cat, Opal. Opal screeched and scratched Belle. Belle then started to cry. Upstairs, Rarity was working on a design, until she heard Belle. So she ran downstairs as fast as she could.
"What happened?", asked Rarity.
"Belle accidently pulled Opal's tail and she scratched her", explained Sweetie Belle.
"Come here, sweetheart", said Rarity picking up Belle.
She took her to the bathroom and put a bandaid on her hoof, then she brought her back to Trend.
"Here, you guys take her. I gotta get back to work", said Rarity giving Belle to Trend.
"Well, why dont you take her?", asked Trend, "She seems to like you best."
"The workroom is too dangerous for a baby, and I need to get these designs done by Tuesday."
"Ok honey", said Trend "We'll holler if you need anything"
Rarity went upstairs to finish her designs. Later that night, she walked downstairs.
"Darlings, I just finished the designs early, so I can take Belle off your hooves.", said Rarity.
She found Trend and Sweetie Belle sleeping on the couch while Belle was still awake.
"Aw how cute", cooed Rarity
She grabbed Belle and levitated a blanket over Trend and Sweetie Belle. Then she walked upatairs. She was gonna put Belle in her basket, but it was occupied by Opal.
"C'mon darling, you can sleep with me for tonight."
Rarity put Belle on the bed, but saw that she wasn't tired.
"How about a little story to help you sleep?"
She pulled out a book called "The Littlest Princess".
"This use to be Sweetie Belle's favorite book when she was about your age", said Rarity opening the book, "Once upon a time there was a little princess…"
Rarity kept reading the book until…
"Then the Littlest Princess said…", read Rarity.
"Mum", said Belle
Rarity was shocked about what she said.
"No sweetie, Im Rarity"
"Mumma"
Rarity had tears in her eyes. Then she put the book down and put the covers on.
Rarity woke up the next day, and found Belle sleeping next to her. She smiled softly, but then she frowned when she remembered about today. She git Belle up and they walked downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast Trend and Rarity were almost ready to go.
"Ok Sweetie Belle we'll be right back.", said Rarity walking out the door
When they got to the adoption, Rarity started to feel sad.
"Are you sure you wanna go through with this?", asked Trend
"Im sure.", replied Rarity with a reasuring smile
They walked through the doors and saw a lime green earth pony mare with a white mane at her desk.
"Hello", greeted the mare "How can I help you?"
"Um…I…I", stamered Rarity, "I would like to place an adoption"
"Huh?", replied Trend
"Yup, we'd like to adopt this little filly here", said Rarity holding up Belle
"Oh, I thought she was yours concidering that she looks a lot like you", said the adoption agent
"No we found her on our doorstep on Saturday", explained Trend
"Ok, what's her name?", asked the adoption agent
"Golden Belle", replied Rarity, "But I would like to change her name to Christabelle"
"That's a lovely name", said the adoption agent handing them a piece of paper, "Ok just sign here"
Rarity and Trenderhoof signed the paper.
"Congradulations, this little filly is now your daughter", said the adoption agent "Have a nice day"
Rarity and Trend walked out of the building.
"I thought we were gonna give her up for adoption", said Trend
"I know, but last night Belle called me mumma and it warmed my heart", explained Rarity nuzzling Belle
"But why'd you change her name?"
"Well, I don't want to call her by the name her mother called her. Besides, Christabelle sounds pretty"
It's been three years since Rarity and Trend adopted Christabelle. Sweetiebelle loves spending time with her, and Belle is Daddy's Little Filly. Belle loves spending a lot of time with her mother too. One night, Rarity was wearing a black dress with her mane up. She was going on a date with Trend tonight, while Sweetiebelle watches Belle.
"C'mon Rarity, you know Im responsible", assured Sweetie Belle "Besides, you and Trend haven't been on a date in forever"
"That's because we've been busy with Belle", explained Rarity putting on mascara
"But Belle is three now. She already learned to walk and talk. It's not like she's gonna get her cutie mark right now"
"True, but something bad could happen"
"Nothing bad is gonna happen, but I understand if you don't trust me at all"
Sweetiebelle showed Rarity "The Eyes".
"I do trust you it's just-"
"Rarity, c'mon I got this"
"Whenever she says that bad things happen", thought Rarity "Ok fine"
Rarity and Trend were about to walk out the door, but Christabelle was crying and begging them not to leave. She wears her mane in a curled pony tail with a magenta bow.
"Please don't go Mommy", begged Belle "I'll be bored without you and Daddy"
"Sweetie, don't worry", assured Rarity nuzzling her "We'll be back later"
"Besides, you have the greastest foalsitter ever", added Trend
"Who?", asked Belle
"Me", said Sweetiebelle walking through the door.
"AUNT SWEETIEBELLE'S MY FOAL SITTER?!", asked Belle excitidly
"That's right", replied Sweetiebelle "Why don't you get a boardgame for us to play"
"Ok", replied Belle running upstairs
"Ok, if you guys get hungry there's leftovers from yesterday. If Belle gets thirsty, then just give her apple cider. And make sure she's in bed by 8. If there's any problems call me or you can walk over to Twilight's", explained Rarity
Belle walked back in holding a boardgame.
"Alright sweetie were leaving now", said Trend kissing her cheek
"Have fun", said Rarity
"Bye guys", said Sweetiebelle
Rarity and Trend walked outside and shut the door. After they left, they decided to play a boardgame and Sweetiebelle won. Then they decided to have a teaparty.
"Aw this tea is delicious", complimented Sweetiebelle drinking the tea "Is it from Canterlot?"
"What's Canterlot?", asked Belle
"Canterlot is the capital of Equestria. It has fancy ponies, expensive stores, and it's where the princesses live. It's also where the Grand Galloping Gala takes place every year"
"What's the Grand Galloping Gala?"
"It's a fancy ball that Canterlot has every year. It has the most beautiful dresses, the fanciest food, and the greatest music. Your mom also goes every year"
"Really? Will she take me this year?"
"I don't think so. Your too young"
"But when I go, it'll be magical. I'll wear the most beautiful dress. Everypony will be so jealous of me. Then just when I thought the night was over, I'll meet my prince"
"Oh really"
"He'll ask me to dance and of course I'll say YES. It'll be like a happily ever after"
Belle gave a twirl and she accidently spilled tea on herself.
"Oops", said Belle
"C'mon sweetie", said Sweetiebelle "Let's get you cleaned up"
Sweetiebelle gave Belle a bath, and got her bed. Then, Rarity and Trend came home.
Christabelle was now five years old. She was nervous and excited at the sametime because it was her first day of school. She wore her mane in her usual style. Then, she walked downstairs and ate breakfast.
"Morning Mom, Daddy", greeted Belle
"Goodmorning Belle", replied Trend "Are you ready for the first day of school?"
"Yes and no", replied Belle
"Oh well it's ok to be nervous", said Sweetiebelle
"Oh look at the time", said Rarity "We gotta get you to school"
"Can Aunt Sweetiebelle come?", asked Christabelle
"Sure", replied Trend
The four unicorns walked to the school house, and saw a bunch of foals with their parents. Then, the mane five walked over to Rarity. Rainbow Dash and her husband, Soarin, were with their twin sons, Tempest and Trailblaze. Tempest is a cyan pegasus with a blue, green, and black mane. Trailblaze was also a cyan pegasus but with a red, blue, and yellow mane. Pinkie and her husband, Cheese Sandwich, were with their daughter, Smart Cookie. Cookie was a tan earth pony with a brown and pink mane with glasses, and her mane tied in a ponytail with a yellow bow. Fluttershy and her husband, Discord, were talking with their daughter, Mystery. Mystery is a grey draconequi-pony hybrid with a black mane with a pink streak. Her right hoof was a bird talon and her left hoof was a lion paw. Her right wing was a yellow pegasus and her left wing was a pink bat wing. Twilight was with her husband, Flash Sentry, and her daughter Love In The Mist. Misty is a purple alicorn with a dark blue mane with a magenta streak. Applejack was with her husband, Caramel, and her son, Johnagold. Johnagold is an orange earth pony with a brown and blond mane. Johnagold is also Belle's best friend. Cheerilee and Big Macintosh were with their daughter, Gala. Gala is a red earth pony with a light pink mane. Vinyl Scratch and her husband, Neon Lights, were with their son, Dubstep. Dubstep is a white unicorn with a black and blue mane with headphones around his neck. Thunderlane and Cloudchaser were with their son, Storm Chaser. Storm is a black pegasus with a light blue mane. Lyra and Bon Bon were with their son, Marshmellow Swirl. Marshmellow is a cream earth pony with a teal and purple mane. Suddenly a chariot showed up, and two earth pony fillies walked out of it. One was a red with a maroon mane wearing a diamond necklace. The other one was a powder blue with a white mane with a pink berét on her head.
"Who are they?", asked Belle
"The red one is Diamond Tiara's little sister, Ruby Necklace. The blue one is Silver Spoon's cousin, Silken Glove", explained Sweetiebelle "If I were you, I would keep away from them, cause they'll probably be like them."
"Ok"
"C'mon children", called Cheerilee "Time to learn"
"Well you better get in there", said Trend
"Oh, my little filly's growing up", said Rarity hugging her with tears in her eyes.
"Mom, your embarrising me", said Belle
"Ok, have fun", replied Rarity
"Bye Mom bye Daddy bye Aunt Sweetiebelle"
"Bye Belle", replied Rarity and Trend
Belle and the other foals walked into the building.
"Hey Christy", called Johnagold waving his hoof "I saved you a seat"
Belle sat next to Johnagold.
"Thanks John", replied Belle
"Howdy Belle"
"Hey Christy"
Belle turned around and saw Gala, Tempest, and Trailblaze.
"Hey Gala", greeted Belle "And guys, I told you that the only pony who can call me Christy is Johnagold"
Belle saw Mystery, Love In The Mist, Marshmellow Swirl, and the others rush over to her.
"How come it's ok for Mystery to call you that?", asked Trailblaze
"No, she called me Christa. That's different", explained Belle "Besides, Mystery's my best friend"
"I thought I was your best friend", said Johnagold
"You are", replied Belle "Mystery's my best filly friend"
Everypony kept talking, until Cheerilee walked in.
"Hello children", greeted Cheerilee "Im Miss Cheerilee and I'll be your teacher this year"
Cheerilee started to give rolecall. Then, she suggested that everypony should tell a little bit about eachother. Suddenly, a grey pegasus colt with a dark brown mane ran in here.
"Sorry Im late", said the colt "My mom woke me up late"
"Who's that?", asked Johnagold
"I don't know, but he's cute", replied Belle blushing
"And you are?", asked Cheerilee
"Time Warp", introduced the colt "Son of Dr. Hooves and Derpy"
"Wait your related to Derpy?", asked Silken Glove
"OMG I feel so bad for you", teased Ruby Necklace
"Hey, leave my mom out of this", said Time Warp
"That's enough", said Cheerilee, "Since it's the first day, I'll let you slide, but don't let it happen again. Why don't you sit down right next to Christabelle."
Time Warp sat next to Christabelle.
"Hey", greeted Time Warp
"Hi", replied Belle blushing
Johnagold started to get angry.
"Now why don't we have someone else tell a little bit about eachother", suggested Cheerilee
Belle raised her hoof.
"Go ahead, sweetie", said Cheerilee
"My name is Christabelle or Belle for short. My mom and daddy are Rarity and Trenderhoof, and my best friends are Johnagold and Mystery"
"Wait, Rarity and Trenderhoof are your parents?", asked Ruby
"Yeah"
"I thought her daughter is supposed to be pretty"
"Hey"
"That's enough Ruby Necklace", said Cheerilee "One more outburst and Im calling your parents, understood?"
"Yes, Miss Cheerilee"
Belle started to feel sad, until Time Warp whispered something in her ear.
"Hey, if it makes you feel better, I think your pretty"
"Thanks", replied Belle blushing
Johnagold saw the whole thing.
"Uh yeah…I think your pretty too", stammered John blushing
"Thanks John"
Then, the school bell rang.
"Ok kids, time for lunch and recess", said Cheerilee
Belle walked outside and saw Ruby and Silk making fun of Mystery.
"OMG how can you even walk outside like that", remarked Ruby
"Yeah, your so weird", remarked Silk
Mystery was on the verge of tears. Belle ran over to them and stood infront of Mystery.
"Hey, leave her alone", said Belle
"Mind your own business", barked Ruby
"It is my business when you mess with my friend."
"Whatever, this is boring anyway. C'mon Silk"
Ruby and Silk walked away, and the other foals walked over to Belle and Mystery.
"Are you ok, Mystery?", asked Marshmellow
"I can ask my mom to talk to Ruby and Silk if you want", suggested Gala
"No thanks, Gala", replied Mystery "And Im alright"
"You were kinda brave for standing up to them, Christy", complimented John
"Well, you know I would do anything to protect my friends", said Belle "Even stand up to the toughest ponies"
Cheerilee called the kids back inside to continue their lessons. Then, the bell rang again signaling that it was time to go home. Belle ran over to her parents.
"Hi Darling", said Rarity "Did you have fun at school?"
"Yeah, it was great", replied Belle "I made some new friends"
"Ruby and Silk didn't mess with you, did they?", asked Sweetiebelle
"They did pick on Mystery, but I stood up
"That's my girl", said Trend nuggying Belle
"Watch the mane Daddy", complained Belle
Belle went home with her family. Meanwhile, Johnagold was staring at Belle, until his Aunt Applebloom showed up. Applebloom wears her mane in pigtails with pink bows and her cutie mark was an apple with a hammer.
"Ooooh somepony's got a crush", teased Applebloom
"Huh?", replied John
"It's obvious that you like Belle"
"WHAT?! No I don't", replied John blushing
"Your a terrible liar, just like your mom, and look, your even blushing"
"Fine, I do, but I think she likes someone else"
"Oh don't worry Johnny, she'll come around eventually"
A couple years later, Christabelle is now eight years old. She was at school learning about cutie marks. She looked around and saw that a few of her friends have already earned their cutie marks. Tempest's cutie mark was a storm cloud. He got it after learning about his ability of making stormclouds. Trailblaze's cutie mark was a red, blue, and yellow lightning bolt that was wrapped around his leg. He got it after performing a sonjc rainboom, like his mom. Smart Cookie's cutie mark was a chocolate chip cookie with glasses. She earned it after getting straight A's on her report card. Love In The Mist's cutie mark is a pink heart surrounded by mist. She earned it after performing a complicated spell. Marshmellow Swirl's cutie mark is a mug of hot cocoa. He earned it after making candy with his mom. Dubstep's cutie mark is a record. He earned it after DJing at his birthday party. Gala's cutie mark is a green apple with a tree on top of it. She earned it after bucking apple tree's with her father. Time Warp's cutie mark is a twisted clock. He earned it by doing something that disrupts space and time. Storm Chaser's cutie mark is a black belt. He earned it after winning a black belt in a karate tournament. Ruby Necklace's cutie mark is a diamond necklace and Silken Glove's cutie mark is a white glove. The only three ponies who don't have their cutie marks are Belle, Johnagold, and Mystery.
"Class I have good news to share", announced Cheerilee "Anyone wanna guess what it is?"
Gala raised her hoof.
"Your having another baby", said Gala
"Gala, we were'nt suppose to tell everypony yet"
Everypony gasped.
"Yes, Im having another baby, but that's not the big news", said Cheerilee "The real big news is that were having a talent show this friday"
Everypony cheered.
"That's right. If you wanna sign up, the signup sheet is on the side of the building"
The bell rang, and all the foals ran out to sign up.
"Hey Mystery, wanna do the talent show with me?", asked Belle
"No thanks", replied Mystery "Im not really much of a performer"

"Oh really?", said Ruby "Are you gonna sing at the talent show?"
"I…uh", stammered Belle
"She sure is", interupted John
"Ok, we can't wait to see you lose", remarked Ruby "Let's go Silk"
The two mean fillies walked away, and Belle glared at John.
"JOHN, WHAT THE HEY!", yelled Belle
"Sorry Christy", apoligized John "But your a great singer"
"How do you know?"
"You sometimes sing when you don't know it"
"And you don't even bother to tell me?!"
"I was suppose to?"
"UGH NEVERMIND! Let's just go to Sugarcube Corner with the rest of the guys"
Johnagold and Belle walked to Sugarcube Corner and had milkshakes with their friends.
"Hey Cookie, it's your lucky day. You get to share a milkshake with me", flirted Trailblaze
"In your dreams, Lover Boy", remarked Smart Cookie sipping her milkshake
"So, Belle are you doing the Talent Show?", asked Misty
"Unfortunately yes", replied Belle "Im singing in it"
"If you don't wanna do it then why are you signing up?", asked Marshmellow
"Well, John told Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove that was singing so I kinda have to"
"I said I was sorry", said John
"Does sorry make me quit the talent show"
"No"
"Then apology not accepted"
"Hey C-Belle, want me to give you sone sick beats for your act?", offered Dubstep
"No thanks, Dubs"
Later that night, Belle was having dinner with her family.
"Christabelle, you haven't touched your dinner. Are you ok?", asked Rarity
"No, Im not", replied Belle
"What's wrong?", asked Trend
"The school talent show is this Friday and I have to sing in it cause Johnagold told Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove that I was"
"Oh that's great", said Rarity
"No, it's not"
"Would it make you feel better if we invited Aunt Sweetiebelle and Uncle Button?"
"A little", mumbled Belle "May I be excused? I need to practice my singing for Friday"
"Go ahead", replied Trend
"Should we tell her now?", asked Trend
"Not yet", replied Rarity "We'll tell her after the Talent Show"
Belle practiced her singing everyday, until it was the night of the talent show. Everypony's parents were there. Over the years, they're families have grown. Rainbow Dash and Soarin had a filly named Spectrum Chaser. Spectrum is a light blue pegasus with a red, orange, and pink mane. Pinkie and Cheese had a pair of twin fillies named Ginger Pie and Cotton Candy. Ginger is a tan earth pony with an orange mane. Cotton is a pink earth pony with a light pink mane. Applejack and Caramel also had a pair of twin fillies named Apple Heart and Apple Sweets. Apple Heart is a cream earth pony with a reddish pink mane. Apple Sweets is a tan earth pony with a reddish pink mane. Derpy and Time Turner were had a filly named Muffin. Muffin is a tan earth pony with a blond mane. Scootaloo was with her husband Rumble. Applebloom was with her husband Pipsqueak. Sweetiebelle was with her husband Button Mash. When Belle got there, she saw Ruby and Silk in cheerleading outfits doing their routine. Belle was wearing a white dress with her mane up. When they finished everypony cheered.
"Give it up for Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove", said Cheerilee
"Top that blank flanks", said Ruby walking by
"Yeah, what she said", added Silk following her
"Up next, we have Johnagold Apple playing the guitar and singing", announced Cheerilee
Johnagold was about to walk on stage with a guitar on his back, but was stopped by Belle.
"Hey, break a leg"
"Thanks"
Johnagold walked on stage.

"Somepony special?", thought Belle
He began playing and singing.

"Hey kid, what's wrong?", asked Button Mash
"Nothing, Im just tired. Let's go home", replied Belle
"Are you sure?", asked Trend "We were gonna go get ice cream afterwords"

It's been three weeks since the talent show. Belle and Johnagold still won't talk to eachother. Their friends decide to have a milkshake meeting at Sugarcube Corner.
"Ok everypony", said Smart Cookie "Were here to discuss the problem between Belle and Johnagold"
"Baby, the only problem here is the fact that you won't go out with me", flirted Trailblaze
"KNOCK IT OFF", yelled Mystery slapping him with her lion paw.
"Ow", said Trailblaze
"They've been sketchy since the talent show", said Misty
"Wait, where's Time Warp?", asked Tempest
"Yeah, he should be joining us", added Gala
"He said something about space-time and he had to fix it, I don't know", explained Storm Chaser
"Do you think it has something to do with Belle getting her cutie mark?", asked Marshmellow
"If don't think so, cause they both would be happy", said Dubstep
"Hey Gala, your John's cousin. Do you know if he's going to Belle's birthday party this weekend?", asked Tempest
"I don't know", replied Gala "Everytime I mention it he usually stays silent. Kinda like my Pa"
"But if he doesn't go, Christa will be depressed", said Mystery
"Then we'll just have to make sure he shows up", said Cookie
The foals walked out of the bakery. Suddenly, there was a crash, and Cookie walked out of the bakery who was followed by Trailblaze with a milkshake in his mane.
"Dude, what happened?", asked Dubstep
"Cookie's playing hard to get, but she will be mine", explained Trailblaze.
A couple days later was Belle's 9th birthday party. Belle was wearing a pink dress with white hearts on the skirt. It took place at Sugarcube Corner. Mostly everypony showed, the only one who didn't show up was Johnagold. Then, it was time for cake. They sang happy birthday, and Belle made a wish.
"What'dcha wish for Belle?", asked Sweetiebelle
"I wish that my best friend is here", said Belle
"You know if you say your wish out loud, it won't come true", said Button Mash
Belle started to get depressed.
"Not helping, Button", scolded Sweetiebelle "Don't listen to him, sweetie. Im sure John will show up"
"I doubt it", said Belle
"Why don't we open presents?", suggested Sweetiebelle
"Ok"
Belle opened her presents. Love In The Mist gave her a spell book. Smart Cookie gave her a cook book. Tempest and Trailblaze gave her tickets to a Wonderbolts show. Mystery got her a picture frame. Marshmellow gave her homemade candy. Gala gave her a bandana. Storm Chaser gave her a card. Dubstep gave her a DJPon3 CD. Time Warp gave her a watch. Button Mash gave her a light blue joyboy (Her favorite color). Sweetiebelle gave her a CD of her singing. Rarity and Trend gave her a new kitten. Opal passed a month ago and Belle was devistated. It was black with green eyes. Belle name her Coal. When Belle opened all of her presents, she was devistated.
"What's wrong, darling?", asked Rarity "Don't you like your presents?"
"No, I love them and all. I just wished that Johnagold was here", replied Belle
"Am I too late?", asked a voice
Belle turned around and saw Johnagold holding a small gift.
"John you came", said Belle hugging him
"Of course I came", replied John "Did you seriously think I would miss my best friend's birthday? Here, this is for you"
Belle took the present, and opened it. Inside the box was a golden locket with her cutie mark on it.
"John its beautiful", said Belle admiring it
"Check out what's on the inside", said John
Belle opened the locket and saw a picture of her and John when they were five on one side, while the otherside was blank.
"Why is the otherside empty?", asked Belle
"Well, I was thinking that in the future, we could put a picture of ourselves when were adults in it", explained John
"Look, Im sorry about what happened at the Talent Show. I guess my curiousity got the best of me"
"No, Im sorry for thinking that Time Warp was your special somepony"
"I do like Time Warp, but no more then a friend"
"Well now I feel stupid"
"You kinda are"
The two friends laughed for a bit.
"So hug it out?", asked John
"Get in here", replied Belle hugging him "You know, if you had a locket too, we could be totally twining"
"Way ahead of you, Christy"
John moved his bandana and showed her a golden locket with his cutie mark engraved in it.
"John, you really are the best friend a girl could have", said Belle hugging him
What the two friends didn't know was that Sweetiebelle and Button were watching them.
"Just like us when we were young, huh Sweetie?", said Button
It's been almost a year since Belle's bithday. By that time, Cheerilee had a filly named Timid Flower. Timid is a magenta earth pony with an orange mane. Twilight and Flash had a colt named Orion. Orion is a tan alicorn with a purple mane. Spike married a batpony mare named Moonbeam and had a pair of twin dratonies (dragon and bat pony hybrids) named Midnight and Sparks. Midnight is a light blue dratony filly with a purple mane. Sparks is a green dratony with blue spikes. Cloud Chaser's sister, Flitter, married Bulk Biceps, and had a filly named Dove. Dove is a white pegasus filly with a light blue mane. Scootaloo and Rumble had their first child, a colt named Striker. Striker is a black pegasus with a grey mane. Applebloom and Sweetiebelle are also pregnant with their first children, but Sweetiebelle is 4 months ahead of Applebloom. Rarity is now in labor with her foal, and she and Trend went to the hospital. Sweetiebelle was watching Belle while she was laying on the floor bored out of her mind.
"It's not fair", said Belle "Im their daughter, I should be able to see my new brother or sister"
"Well your too young", replied Sweetiebelle
"What's the point. All that's gonna happen in there is that the stork will come in and give Mom the baby. Isn't that where babies come from?"
"Ask your parents. Look as soon as they come home, I gurantee that they'll let you see the foal"
"But waiting takes forever"
"Look, if you can stop complaining, I'll tell you what Im having"
"You will?"
"Yes, but you have to promise not to tell anypony, ok?"
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye"

"Well, Button and I thought about naming one of them Aria"

Belle thought of something for a moment. Then, she ran downstairs.
"AUNT SWEETIEBELLE", called Belle "I thought of another name"
"What is it?", asked Sweetiebelle
"Pixel"
"Pixel…I like it"
Suddenly, the door opened.
"MOM AND DAD ARE HOME", cheered Belle running to the other room
Belle ran into the other room and saw Trenderhoof and Rarity with a baby carriage.
"Belle, come meet your new baby brother", said Rarity
Belle walked over to the carriage, and saw a brown unicorn colt with a purple mane.
"What's his name?", asked Belle
"Posh Print", replied Trend
"Oh Rarity he's so cute", cooed Sweetiebelle
"Thanks again for watching Belle", thanked Rarity
"It's no problem at all. You know I love my goddaughter"
One day before school started, Belle and her friends were talking to eachother, until Mystery showed up.
"Check it out y'all", said Mystery showing off her flank
"MYSTERY, YOU GOT YOUR CUTIE MARK", cheered Belle
Mystery's cutie mark was a magnifying glass.
"How'dcha get it?", asked Trailblaze
"Well…it all started yesterday. My Mom and Dad were talking about something. I asked them what was going on, but Mom flew away. Then I asked Dad, but he started acting sketchy and disappeared.", explained Mystery
"Your Dad is always sketchy", said Dubstep
"Well he is the God of Chaos", explained Smart Cookie
"Anyway", said Mystery "I wanted to figure out what was going on, so I looked around the house. I couldn't find anything, so I was about to give up, until somepony from the hospital. I answered the phone by mimicking my Mom's voice-"
"Wait!", said Tempest "You can perform mimicry?"
"Well yeah", replied Mystery "I got that trait from my Dad"
"What did the hospital say?", asked Love In The Mist
"Well, they said that the results were in, and that my Mom's having another foal", explained Mystery
"YOUR HAVING A BABY BROTHER OR SISTER?!", asked Belle excitedly
"Yup, and after I told my parents about the investigation, they were impressed. And this is when this thing appeared"
"That's awesome Mystery", said Time Warp
"That's your talent?", asked Ruby Necklace walking over to them "Solving mysteries?"

"Oh yeah", said Belle "And what are your talents?"
"Modeling jewerly", said Ruby

Belle and Mystery started laughing hystarically
"What's so funny?!", asked Ruby
"Oh nothing", said Mystery "Just the fact that your talents are completely useless"

Ruby and Silk walked away.
"Im really glad you got your cutie mark, Mystery", said Belle hugging her
Five years later, Belle is now fourteen and Posh Print is now five. Today was Belle's first day of the eighth grade, while it was Print's first day of school ever. Over the time, Fluttershy and Discord had a colt they named Eric. Eric is a black earth pony with a white mane with yellow hind legs, a yellow and pink dragon tail, and Discord's antlers. His left hoof was a lizard claw while his right hoof was a tiger claw. Sweetiebelle had her twin fillies named Pixel and Aria. Aria is a white unicorn with a pink and brown mane. Pixel is a brown earth pony with a purple and pink mane. Applebloom and Pipsqueak had a colt named Cortland. Cortland is a red earth pony with a brown mane. Belle walked Posh to school.
"Belle?", said Print
"Yeah Print?", asked Belle
"Is the teacher mean?"
"No. Miss Cheerilee is the sweetest teacher ever"
"Ok"
They stopped at the school house, and saw a bunch of foals and their parents.
"Sure brings back memories", said Belle "Ok dude, have fun"
"Bye Belle", replied Print
Belle kept walking until she saw her middle school. When she got to her homeroom, she saw Mystery and Johnagold.
"Hey Christa", called Mystery
"No way, you guys are in my homeroom this year?", asked Belle excitedly
"Eeyup", replied Johnagold
"But unfortunately they're here to", said Mystery pointing to Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove
After sitting in homeroom for a couple of minutes, Belle and Mystery started walking to English while John went to science. During English, Belle started staring at her locket.
"Whatcha lookin at?", asked Mystery
"Just the locket John gave me when I was nine?"
"Doesn't he have the same locket?"
"Yeah, but he has his cutie mark engraved in it"
"You know, when a guy gives you jewerly, it usually means he likes you"
"Eh?"
"And when he has the same one, it means he really likes you"
"EH?!"
The teacher stopped teaching and looked at the girls. He was a red earth pony with a brown mane with a blue book as his cutie mark.
"Christabelle and Mystery, is there something you'd like to share with the class?", asked the teacher
"No Mr. Book Smarts", replied Mystery and Belle
"Good"
Mr. Book Smarts went back to his lesson.
"Look, I like John, but not like that", whispered Belle
"I get it…cause you like Time Warp", replied Mystery
"NO I DON'T", yelled Belle

"Sorry Mr. Book Smarts, won't happen again"
"Hey, are we still on for Sugarcube Corner after school?", asked Mystery
"Of course", replied Belle
"Great, do you mind if John and Time tag along?"
"I don't mind. The more, the merrier"
Meanwhile, Posh Print and Striker were walking outside for recess.
"Hey Print", said Striker "Wanna play box ball with me, Sparks, and Spectrum Chaser?"
Print was about to answer, but he got distracted by a white pegasus filly with a light blue mane sitting under a tree by herself.
"Actually, I wanna talk to that girl over there", said Print "She looks lonely"
"Ok"
Print walked over to the filly.
"Hi", greeted Print
"Um…hi", replied the filly
"I saw that you were by yourself and sad, so I thought you would like some company. Im Posh Print, what's your name"
"Im Dove"
"Dove. Hey, your the daughter of Bulk Biceps and Flitter, right?"
"Yeah"
"Cool, but why were you sitting by yourself?"
"Cause nopony likes me"
"Who said"
"They did"
Dove pointed to a couple of foals. One was a pink earth pony filly with a blond mane and a tiara. The other one is a grey unicorn colt with a silver mane wearing shades and a gold chain.
"Royal Jewel and Bling Bling", whispered Print "Stay here"
"What are you doing?", asked Dove
"Im just gonna talk to them"
Print walked over to Royal Jewel and Bling Bling
"Hey did you guys tell Dove that nopony likes her?", asked Print angerly
"You mean her Royal Shy-ness? Yes", remarked Jewel
"Why would you do something like that?!", asked Print
"We were just stating the facts", said Bling Bling
"Well your "facts" really hurt her"
"And what are you gonna do about it"

Suddenly, Print pushed Bling Bling down, and Jewel ran over to him.
"I highly suggest you walk away, or that tiara of yours will lose a few diamonds", threatened Print
Bling Bling and Jewel walked away, and Dive walked up to Print.
"That was very brave of you", said Dove
"Heh heh thanks", replied Print blushing "Wanna play box ball with me and my friends?"
"Sure"
Print and Dove started playing. Meanwhile, Ruby Necklace walked to ger mansion and saw Diamond Tiara and Royal Jewel.
"Sis, what are you doing here?", asked Ruby
"I need your help", said Diamond
"With what?", asked Ruby
"My poor little Jewely was almost attacked by a horrible colt"
"It's true", said Royal Jewel crying "He said that he wanted to destroy my tiara"
"What's his name?", asked Ruby
"P-Posh Print"
"Hey, that's Christabelle's brother", said Ruby getting angry
"Oh I know", said Diamond holding up a file with an evil grin
"What's that?", asked Ruby
"Everything we need to know about Christabelle, and were gonna use them against her"
After school, Belle walked to Sugarcube Corner with Mystery. When they got there, they saw that Johnagold and Time Warp had already saved a table for them.
"Girls, over here", called Johnagold waving his hoof
The four foals started talking and having a great time, until Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove showed up.
"Oh look, Silk", said Ruby "It's our good friend Christabelle…or should we say Golden Belle"
Belle started to get confused as Ruby and Silk started laughing.
"What do you mean?", asked Belle
"Were just calling you by your name", said Silk
"Look, I appreciate the nickname and all, but my name is Christabelle"
"That's not what it says in here", said Ruby holding up the file
"What's that?", asked Belle
"Read it and weep", said Ruby
"Belle, don't", said Mystery
Belle looked through the files in shock.
"No…", whispered Belle
"Yup", said Ruby
"YOUR ADOPTED", cheered the two mean fillies
"But…but Mom and Daddy said that I was their first child", said Belle
"They lied", said Silk
"So technically, Posh Print is their first child"
"They only adopted you out of pity", added Silk
"NO!", yelled Belle crying "They love me"

Belle ran out of the bakery crying.
"Bye-bye", said Ruby with an evil grin
Her and Silk walked out of the bakery laughing. Suddenly, Mystery's eyes grew red.
"Mystery, what are you up to?", asked Time Warp
"I just wanna have a chat with them", said Mystery gritting her teeth before teleporting
"Should we follow her?", asked Johnagold
"Yup", replied Time Warp
The two colts ran out of the bakery. Meanwhile, Ruby and Silk walked out of the jewerlery store. Suddenly, Mystery appeared infront of them.
"What do you want lozer?", asked Ruby
"I didn't like how you messed with Christa", said Mystery with her glowing red eyes "And you should know to never mess with the Princess of Chaos, especially her friends"
"What are you gonna do?", asked Silk shaking
"Im just gonna get my sweet sweet revenge"
Mystery snapped her lion paw and a cotton candy cloud appeared on top of the two mean fillies. Suddenly, the cloud started a downpour of chocolate milk on them. Johnagold and Time Warp showed up on time to witness it.
"MY MANE", cried Ruby
Mystery snapped her fingers again and made ice cream fall on top of Ruby and Silk.
"Huh, they were right", said Time Warp "Revenge is best served cold"
"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS", yelled Ruby before running away with Silk
"Looks like they got their JUST DESSERTS", joked Mystery trying not to laugh
Belle ran through the door and slammed it shut. Her parents ran right into the room.
"Honey, what's wrong?", asked Rarity
"Mom, am I adopted?", asked Belle crying

"AM I ADOPTED?!"
Rarity and Trend didn't say anything.
"I knew it", said Belle "Who are my real parents?"
"We don't know, darling", explained Rarity "Your biological mother dropped you on our doorstep fourteen years ago. She left a note saying she was a young mother."

"And your real name is Golden Belle"
"YOU CHANGED MY NAME?! WHY?!"
"So you can have a new life instead of the one that horrid woman gave you"

"We were gonna tell you when you were ten", explained Trend

Belle levitated a black cloak towards her and ran out the door into the rain.

Meanwhile, Belle was running through Ponyville while crying, until she bumped into a pony holding an umbrella. She was a yellow unicorn mare with a with a white mane with a harp on a cloud as her cutie mark.

"Sounds like somepony I use to know, but why were you crying?"
"Well, today these two mean fillies were making fun of me, and they told me I was adopted. I asked my parents about it, and they told me everything. They kept this from me for all this time"

"Were you adopted too?"
"Not exactly. I use to have a daughter, but I had to give her up. Her name was Golden Belle. Oh I miss my little Belle"
"Golden Belle? That was my name before my parents changed it"
Harper gave Belle a shocked look.
"Wait, were you dropped off in a basket when you were a baby?"

Harper ran out of the room. A few minutes later, she came back holding a picture frame.
"When I was sixteen, I had a great life", explained Harper "I had good grades, many friends, and was popular. I even had a great coltfriend. His name was Shiny Bronze"
Harper showed Belle a picture of her teenage self and a young brown earth pony stallion with a blond mane with a basketball as his cutie mark.
"We were always inseperable. One day, I got an internship from Octavia Melody, so we decided to…celebrate.", explained Harper "A few months later, I found out I was pregnant with you. When I told Bronze, he broke up with me, and told me he wants nothing to do with me or you."
Harper started to have tears in her eyes.
"A few months later, you were born", cried Harper "At first, I was doing great at raising you, but then it started to get difficult. My grades started dropping and nopony would be my friend. I also lost my internship with Octavia after she found out about my pregnancy. I didn't know what else to do, so I gave you up."
Suddenly, Harper hugged Belle and started crying.
"IM SORRY! IM SORRY! IM SO SO SORRY! IM REALLY SORRY I GAVE YOU UP AND GAVE YOU A HORRIBLE LIFE!", cried Harper
"I forgive you", said Belle
"You, what?"
"I forgive you. I had a pretty good life, up until now. And now that I found you, we can be together like Mother and Daughter"
"Actually, I-"
"Mommy?", said a voice
Harper turned around and saw an orange unicorn colt about Posh Print's age with a white mane.
"Crescendo, what are you doing up?", asked Harper picking up the colt
"I had a nightmare", said Crescendo
"Who's that?", asked Belle
"A few years after I had you, I needed money to support myself so I had to take desperate measures. This is my son, Crescendo, who is also your half brother"
"I have a brother?"
Harper nodded. Suddenly, Belle grabbed Crescendo and started hugging him
"HE'S SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE THAT IM GONNA DIE", said Belle
"Can't…breathe", stammered Crescendo
Belle let go of Crescendo.
"I have a brother about your age", said Belle "His name is Posh Print"
"He's that pony who stood up to Royal Jewel and Bling Bling", said Crescendo
"My brother did that?"
"Yeah, he's a cool dude"
"You know, I kinda miss him…and my parents"
"I think you know what you should do", said Harper
"Yeah"
Belle, Harper, and Crescendo walked to the Carousal Boutique. Harper knocked on the door, and Rarity opened it. Her hair was messy and she was wearing her pink robe.
"BELLE YOUR BACK", cried Rarity hugging her
"We were so worried about you", said Trend
"Don't you ever run away again"
Suddenly, Print ran downstairs.
"Mom, Dad, what's going…BELLE'S BACK"
Belle hugged Print. Then, Rarity turned to Harper
"Is there anyway we can repay you?", asked Rarity
"You raising her into the mare she is is payment enough", said Harper
She and Crescendo walked away, and Rarity and Trend looked at Belle.
"Who was she?", asked Trend
"Nopony", lied Belle
"Well we have some good news to offer", said Rarity "How would you like to go to the Grand Galloping Gala next year?"
A year has passed, and everypony was getting ready for the Gala. During the time, Rarity and Trend had a filly they named Lacey. Lacey is a white unicorn with a fuschia mane. Pinkie Pie had a son named Chocoberry. Berry is pink with brown spots with a brown and pink poofy mane. Applebloom had a daughter named Apple Seed. Apple Seed is a yellow earth pony with a brown spot on her eye with a red and green mane in a pink bow. Scootaloo had triplets. She had a pair of fillies named Dart and Twister and a colt named Skidmark. Dart is a grey pegasus with a purple mane. Twister is a tan pegasus with a grey and white mane. Skidmark is an orange pegasus with a grey mane. Today, everypony was getting ready for the Gala. Granny Smith decided to watch the babies while they're there. When they got to Canterlot, all the stallions and colts…and draconies in Spike and Spark's case are in their tuxedoes. Meanwhile, Print was sitting on the ground embarased.
"I look riduculous", said Print
"Oh come on, Print", said Belle "I think you look great"
"Atleast you don't have to wear a monkey suit"
"Atleast Im not wearing a tux in order to impress Dove"
Print started to blush madly.
"WHO TOLD YOU?!", asked Print
"Nopony, I just took a shot in the dark", explained Belle "Now if you excuse me, I gotta get ready."
Belle walked into the mares changing room. A few hours later, everypony was ready. Twilight was wearing is a dark blue dress with magenta stars. Rainbow Dash is wearing a dark blue dress with a rainbow skirt. Pinkie pie was wearing a pink dress with a blue skirt with pieces of candy on it. Rarity is wearing a magenta and purple dress. Fluttershy is wearing a pink and green dress. Applejack is wearing a green dress with red apples on the skirt. Applebloom is wearing a brown dress. Scootaloo is wearing a yellow and purple dress. Sweetie Belle is wearing a blue dress. Then they headed to the ballroom. While there, John and Time Warp start to wonder where the girls are.
"Where's Belle and the others?", asked John
"I don't know", replied Time Warp
Suddenly, all of the girls came into the ball room. Belle's dress was blue with her mane up. When John saw Belle, his mouth was wide open.
"Wow Christy, you look…wow", said John blushing
"Thanks John", replied Belle blushing "Now let's have some fun"
During the Gala, Belle and John were talking amongst eachother, until they heard familiar voices.
"Oh look, if it isn't our dear friend Golden Belle", said a voice
Belle and John looked at the source and saw Ruby Necklace and Silken Glove. Ruby was wearing a purple dress while Silk was wearing a red dress.
"Oh Faust, it's you two", scolded Belle
"Wow Goldie, your taking this adoption thing pretty good", teased Ruby
"Look, I don't care about what you two say", said Belle "Besides, at least my parents chose me. Your parents are stuck with you. Now if you excuse me, John and I are gonna go to the dessert table"
Belle and John walked away while leaving Ruby and Silk's mouths wide open.
"That was very brave of you", said John
"Well, you know me", replied Belle
Meanwhile, Gala was talking to a scared Timid. Gala's dress is yellow with a green apple in the middle of the torso. Timid was wearing a black dress with a yellow skirt, so she kind of looks like a sunflower.
"Do I look good? Do you think he'll like it?", asked Timid
"Relax Timmy, you look great, and Im sure he'll think so too", assured Gala
"Thanks sis. OMG HE'S COMING! QUICK! HIDE ME"
Timid tried to hide behind her sister, but she moved aside. Suddenly, Sparks walked up to them.
"Hey Gala, hey Timid", greeted Sparks
"H-hi Sparks", replied Timid blushing
"I'm gonna go see if Tempest wants to dance", said Gala walking away
"You look nice today", complimented Sparks
"You do?…I MEAN!…You do?", asked Timid
"Yeah"
"T-thanks. I think you look great, too"
"Thanks"
Timid and Sparks continued talking. Little did they know, Spectrum Chaser was watching them. Her dress has red, orange, and yellow on the top and green, blue, and purple on the skirt.
"Would you look at that", said Spectrum "A couple of shmucks in love"
"That's not what you say about Orion", said a voice
Spectrum turned around and saw Rainbow Dash.
"Mom, what are you talking about?", asked Spectrum "And shouldn't you get ready for your Wonderbolt's show?"
"It doesn't start for another hour", explained Rainbow "And don't deny it. Everytime he walks by, you always stammer a lot"
"I do not"
"Hey Spectrum", said Orion walking up to her
"Hey Orion, I love you…TUX…I LOVE YOUR TUX…IT'S GREAT", stammered Spectrum blushing
"Ok?", said Orion walking away
Rainbow gave Spectrum a look.
"Don't give me that look", said Spectrum "It's not funny"
Spectrum ran away.
"She acts just like her father back then when he was around me", murmered Rainbow
Meanwhile, Smart Cookie was talking to Ginger Pie and Cotton Candy. Cookie's dress is orange with brown spots on it, and she wasn't wearing her glasses. Ginger Pie's dress is pink with candy corn. Cotton Candy's dress is orange and yellow. Then, Trailblaze walked up to them.
"Hey Cookie", greeted Trailblaze in his not so usual additude
"What do you want, Trailblaze?", asked Cookie
"I was wondering if you would like to dance with me?"
"You want me to dance with you?"
"Y-yeah"
"Sorry, but I'm too busy explaining to my sisters about the Black Hole Theory"
"C'mon sis go dance with him", said Ginger
"Yeah, we'll be fine", added Cotton
"Ugh, fine", said Cookie rolling her eyes "But no funny business"
"Baby, I make no promises", said Trailblaze back to normal
"And he's back"
Trailblaze and Cookie walked away while Cotton and Ginger started talking.
"Do you think they'll get married?", asked Ginger
"Yeah", replied Cotton
"I already picked out foal names"
"SAME"
"Candy Rain"
"Confetti"
"Rainbow Lollipop"
"Rainbolt"
"SKITTLES", said both of them in unison
They started laughing for a bit.
"Hey sis, who do you like?", asked Cotton
"I kinda like…Donny", said Ginger
"Dinky's son?"
"Yeah"
"Really?"
"Yup, I even picked out names for our foals. Doodle if it's a filly or Blueberry Pie if it's a colt"
"You are a total fangirl"
"I know right? Now tell me who you like"
"W-who I like?"
"Yeah, who's the lucky guy?"
"It's not exactly a guy"
Ginger looked at her sister.
"You mean you-", asked Ginger
"Yeah, I like fillies", replied Cotton shrinking
"Then, who's the lucky filly?"
"Uh…Um Midnight"
"You like Midnight?"
"Yeah"
"That…is…ADORABLE"
"Huh?"
"I already have foal names picked out. How about Wildberry for a filly and Frosting for a colt"
"Wait, your not mad?"
"Of course not. Why would you think that?"
"Well, I just thought you wouldn't love me because of that"
"Oh Cotton, there's nothing that will ever stop me from loving you"
"Really?"
"Yeah, were TSBFF's"
Cotton and Ginger hugged for a moment.
"By the way, I like Sugilite for a colt", said Cotton
Meanwhile, Midnight was staring at the twin fillies. Her dress was green with a diamond in the middle of it. Suddenly, Apple Heart and Apple Sweets approached her.
"Hey Midnight, what's wrong?", asked Apple Heart
"Girls, can you be honest with me?", asked Midnight
"Of course", replied Apple Sweets
"Yeah, honesty is the policy", added Heart
"Ok. Do you think it's weird…that I have a crush on Cotton Candy?", asked Midnight
"Of course not", said Sweets
"Yeah, it's your love life", added Heart
"Thanks girls, Im gonna ask if she wants to dance", said Midnight walking away
Meanwhile, Aria was having fun while Pixel just stood there in annoyance. Aria's dress is lavender with purple on the skirt. Pixel's dress is black on the torso and black and white checkered on the skirt.
"Do I have to wear this dress?", asked Pixel
"Yes", replied Aria
"But I look stupid"
"I think you look pretty"
"Your opinion means nothing to me"
"Whatever, now if you excuse me, Im gonna go see if Eric wants to dance"
Aria walked away, thus leaving Pixel alone. Then, Striker walked up to Pixel.
"Hey Pix", greeted Striker
"Oh hey Striker, what's up?", asked Pixel
"Im so bored here"
"Same"
"Wanna play Super Smash Bros. on our Joyboys?"
"Totally, your lucky I never leave without it"
Meanwhile, Time Warp was with his sister, Muffin. Muffin is wearing a light pink frilly dress.
"C'mon brother, go have some fun", said Muffin
"I don't wanna leave you alone", said Time Warp
"I'm blind, not hopeless. There's a difference, you know?"
"But what if you get hurt?"
"I won't"
"But what if-"
"Just go have some fun"
"Fine, but if your in trouble, call me"
"Ok"
Time Warp and Muffin walked away from eachother. Suddenly, Muffin bumped into somepony.
"Oh…Im so sorry", apoligized Muffin
"Oh it's fine", replied the pony
The pony was a dark blue pegasus with a black mane. But instead of pegasus wings, he had bat wings.
"Need a hoof?", asked the batpony extending a hoof
"Sure", replied Muffin taking it and standing up "Sorry, I didn't see you. Im kind of blind"
"Oh"
"You probably think Im a freak, huh?"
"Naw, Im a freak too"
"Huh?"
"Well you see, Im a batpony…well part batpony on my Dad's side"
"Wait, arn't they evil? Are you gonna suck my blood?"
"No, infact, Princess Luna has batponies as Night Guards. And besides, were vegan"
"Oh, well how did you get into the Gala? You have to know somepony important"
"Well, my dad is Captain of The Night Guards so my family is here."
"That's so cool. My name is Muffin by the way"
"Im Nightcore"
"Wanna dance?"
"Sure"
Nightcore and Muffin started dancing. Meanwhile, Marshmellow Swirl was sitting at a table eating salad. Then, Love In The Mist walked up to him. Misty's dress is white with blue snowflakes.
"Hey Marsh, need a friend?", asked Misty
"Sure", replied Marshmellow Swirl
Misty sat right next to Marshmellow.
"So what's wrong?"
"I kinda wanna dance…with her"
Marsh pointed to Pumpkin Cake who was talking to her brother Pound Cake. Pound's cutie mark is a whisk with wings while Pumpkin's was a Pumpkin with sparkles around it. Pumpkin was also wearing a blue dress with a pink skirt. They got invited to the Gala since their parents help made the desserts.
"Pumpkin? C'mon dude she's easy to talk to, just ask"
"But she'll reject me"
"What if I talk to her?"
"Would you?"
"Of course, your my friend"
Misty walked over to Pumpkin and started talking to her. A few minutes later, they walked back over.
"Hey Marshmellow, wanna dance?", asked Pumpkin
"S-Sure", replied Marshmellow blushing
They got up and started walking to the dancefloor.
"You know you could've asked me", said Pumpkin "I wouldv'e said yes anyway"
"I know", replied Marshmellow
Meanwhile, Print was talking to Cortland, until Dove walked up to them. Her dress is purple with feathers and saphires.
"Hey guys", greeted Dove
"WHOA DOVE", yelled Print frightened "I mean, Heeeeeey Dove"
"I'm gonna go talk to Ginger Pie", said Cortland walking away
"No, don't go don't go", whispered Print
"What?", asked Dove
"NOTHING. Oh look at the time, it's sooo late"
"It's only 7:30"
"Well, bye"
Print ran off, thus leaving Dove alone.
"What's with Print?", asked Dove
Suddenly, Mystery appeared out of nowhere. She was wearing a black dress with diamonds on the bottom on it.
"Hey Dove, what's up?", asked Mystery
"Print's acting weird today", explained Dove "I don't think he wants to be my friend anymore"
"Of course he does. Let me talk to him"
Mystery disappeared. Print was sitting in the garden. Suddenly, Mystery appeared.
"HEEEEY PRINT", greeted Mystery
"WHAAAA MYSTERY", yelled Print "You scared me"
"I have that affect on ponies"
"I can tell, now what do you want?"
"Dove said your acting weird, and I wanna know what's up"
"I-Im not acting weird, Im fine"
"Oh really?"
"Yeah"
"Ok…That's a nice tux your wearing"
"Yeah, it is"
"It would be a shame if something happened to it"
"Yeah, it would…Wait, what are you planning?"
"Nothing, Im just saying that it would be a shame if it got dirty…especially in chocolate milk."
"You wouldn't dare"
"Try me"
Mystery snapped her fingers and a cotton candy cloud appeared over Print.
"Looks like the forecast is cotton candy cloudy with a chance of chocolate milk rain", joked Mystery holding an umbrella
"No, please don't. My mom would flip if this got dirty."
"Then tell me what's wrong"
"No"
"Suit yourself…get it? SUIT yourself"
"OK OK I'LL TELL!"
Mystery snapped her fingers, and the cloud disappeared.
"Now spill", said Mystery
"Ok", replied Print "It's just that everytime Im around Dove, my heart beats a lot, I can barely move, and my brain goes stupid. And all I wanna do is hug her and play videogames with her...or atleast teach her cause she's not good at them."
"Hmmmmm. Looks like you sir are in looooooove with Dove"
"Love? With Dove?"
"That's right"
"I can't be in love, love is stupid"
"Don't look now, but Dove is coming this way."
"WHAT?! WHERE?!"
"Made you look"
"I-I knew that"
"Print..."
"Fine, I LIKE DOVE OK?! Why are you helping me anyway?"
"Well, Belle is like a sister to me. So therefore, your like a brother to me. But you should really talk to Dove, she thinks you don't like her"
"Yeah, your right. Thanks Mystery"
Print ran back outside. Then Time Warp flew right up to Mystery.
"Hey Mystery"
"Oh hey Time Warp, what's up?"
"Im looking for Belle, do you know where she is?"
"She's inside with Johnagold"
"Thanks"
Time Warp flew inside, thus leaving Mystery alone.
"If only he knew"
Meanwhile, Gala and Tempest were dancing on the dancefloor.
"Your a great dancer, Tempest", complimented Gala
"Thanks", replied Tempest "I got that trait from my mom"
"I can see that"
Suddenly, the music stopped, and Twilight walked onstage.
"Thank you everypony, for coming to this year's Grand Galloping Gala. Now give a warm round of applause for famous singer, Sweetiebelle", announced Twilight
Everypony started clapping as Sweetiebelle walked on stage.
"Thank you, this is a new song", announced Sweetiebelle
Everypony clapped again as she started singing.
"I open my eyes to the light of the sun I am still half asleep I straighten out my tie And I'm out the door Now I walk tall and with a feeling of pride Into this class of mine It's just an average day Like every other day The current pushes me on As if I'm caught in the wind

Everypony started clapping as Belle walked onstage.
"Aunt Sweetiebelle, I can't do this", said Belle
"Your a great singer, Belle", assured Sweetiebelle "You'll do fine"
"But I-"
"Here", said Sweetiebelle using her magic to remove her sapphire heart-shaped necklace and giving it to Belle. "Take this. I had this since I was a filly. I was planning on giving this to you for your 18th birthday, but better sooner then later."
"Aunt Sweetiebelle-"
"Don't thank me yet. Go out there and sing your heart out."
Belle walked up to the front of the stage, and started singing as the music played.
"The whispers of the wind, speak soft in winter night And I tremble at the sound of lonely words drifting by But then I see your face, and know you're by my side Though your breath seems so cold and white

Everypony started clapping as Belle stopped singing. She and John walked off stage. Suddenly, Pinkie Pie hopped on stage.
"HIYA EVERYPONY, YOU HAVIN A GOOD TIME?!", asked Pinkie
Everypony cheered.
"Now were gonna slow things down so you cute little love birds can start dancing.", announced Pinkie
Everypony started dancing, except Belle and John.
"Wanna dance?", asked John
"Um-"
"Hey Belle", called Time Warp
"Hey Time Warp, what's up?"
"Wanna dance?"
"Um-"
"Sorry Time", said John "But I already asked Belle first"
"Why don't we let Belle decide to she wants to dance with"
"I would love to dance with you, Time Warp", said Belle
John just stood there as his heart was broken.
"But, I think I rather dance with my best friend instead", added Belle taking John's hoof "I hope you understand"
"It's ok", said Time Warp "Have fun"
Time Warp walked away.
"Wanna dance?", asked Belle
"Of course", replied John
Belle and John started to slow dance with eachother.
"Hey John"
"Hm?"
"Thanks"
"For what?"
"For being my PFF, that's what"
"Oh well, thank you"
"For what?"
"For being my very first friend"
"No problem"
Belle leaned forward and kissed John's cheek. John just stood there smiling and blushing, then he fainted.
"Guys are weird", said Belle walking over to Mystery
In a matter of fourteen years. Belle had a great life. But this isn't the end of the story…There's still more to come. This entire story, is just a chapter.
