An ancient evil that was thought to be sealed several centuries ago, has returned and is bent on consuming all of the Equestrian world and its alternate dimensions, and it is up to a Guardian from another world to save this dimension.
With an ancient darkness that was said to have been sealed 5000 years ago by a hero that was not of the land of Equestria returns after the seal in which it was contained in was has waned after several centuries, it is up to the Mane 6 to borrow the powers of the Elements of Harmony once more and try to stop the Ancient Evil.
But they can't do it alone, as a traveler of the Rift has been summoned to come to Equestria to help prevent this Evil from disrupting the balance of the dimension.
He needs to uncover the whereabouts of the forgotten relic of the past that stopped this Evil...
...for this, is the legend of the Harmonia.
((This story was conceived when I started to use tumblr more often for my OC. I been trying to get other blogs that do RP as the Mane 6 as well as Celestia and Luna, as well as other types of pony blogs that would help me and after spending a year and a half, I was able to get a good idea of a story started.))
((Now keep in mind, I am not much of a writer. I am more or less of an artist, but I am willing to try to get a story of some sort started that would be an interesting read. The story in general burrows elements from other types of action-adventure games like Zelda and the Final Fantasy series. Plus my OC started as a Pokemon character with the characteristics of a Final Fantasy type character mixed in, which is why I consider him capable being a universal type OC for any fandom he can be a part of. With that said, please try not to be to harsh as this is like my first attempt in trying to do a serious fanfic, but I am open to some constructive criticism.))
In the land of Equestria, there have been many stories and legends told by many and have been carried down since the start of the Regal Sisters power of ruling the land. The main stories that have been told were common at this point in time, like the founding of Equestria, the reign and defeat of Discord, and the banishment of Nightmare Moon.
But there is one legend, that has been long since forgotten by many, but only the Regal Sisters know of, and it all started 5000 years ago.
After the defeat of Discord and discovery of the Elements of Harmony, a mysterious entity had come to the world. The entity didn't seem to be threaten at first, but after a few weeks it began to cause chaos to land, chaos only Discord himself could ever dream of doing. It slowly began consuming the world, absorbing the darkness within the hearts of ponies, and eventually manifesting into a creature of pure evil and darkness, with the intent of destroying all life on the planet.
The princesses were called into action to save their land, by using the power of the Elements of Harmony. But, this proved to be ineffective as the entity was too much for the powers of the Elements alone. When all hope and life as ponies knew it were lost...
...A mysterious figure appeared out of nowhere, and lend the sisters a hand. Wielding a mythical, ancient blade of harmony itself, the figure used the full power of the Elements and smites the evil one away, bring light back to the land.
This figure came to be known as the Hero of Realms, who came when a world was on the verge of collapse as it became unbalanced when a threat has been made to not just the world, but the dimensional plane in which it existed in. As fast as the hero came, he vanished never to be seen or heard of again as he left the world of Equestria, to make sure other realms were safe and in balance.
Before he departed, he entrusted the mythical blade of harmony to the Regal Sisters, as a gift and a sign of his friendship. The sisters then banished and sealed what was left of the evil entity to the deepest part of Tartarus, hiding the blade away where it would never see the light of day again, and to be used as the key to the seal.
It wasn't until 2000 years later, the younger regal sister turned into the Mare of the Moon, due to her resentment and jealousy of her older sister and how her subject favored the day over the night, and was banished by the older sister using the powers of the Elements of Harmony to the moon for the next 1000 years.
For the next 1000 years, the older sister reigned the land of Equestria alone, feeling remorse and regret for having to banish her little sister, as well as learning that the seal that is keeping Vexis in check, is starting to weaken. She doesn't address this to anypony to keep them from worrying, as well as not reminding them about the evil that nearly wiped out their world. She keeps a close watch of the seal during this time, only waiting to reveal the event when the time comes in the future.
1000 years have passed, and on the night of the 1000th year of the Summer Sun Celebration marks the return of the corrupted younger sister, known as Nightmare Moon, after her banishment and threatens to create an eternal night all over Equestria, thus causing panic to the small town of Ponyville.
It is when a young unicorn, who is the the older sister's protege, and her five new friends go and stop the Mare of the Moon, by harnessing the power of the Elements of Harmony, defeating the corrupted princess, and returning her to normal and reunites with her older sister after 1000 lonely years.
Years have passed, as the six young ponies that stopped Nightmare Moon, have kept Equestria safe from most threats that came their way. The young unicorn, Twilight Sparkle, became the fourth princess of Equestria, under Celestia, Luna, and Cadance, the Princess of Love and co-ruler the Crystal Empire. Soon after the return of magic thief Tirek, Twilight and her friends discover their keys in unlocking a chest, that was given to her from the Tree of Harmony, the original and now current, resting place of the Elements, unlocking the power to banish the monster back to Tartarus with the power of their friendship, granting Twilight the title as the Princess of Friendship and establishing her new kingdom with a new castle that was given to her from the mysterious chest, now overlooking Ponyville.
However, while the gateway to Tartarus was open when sending Tirek back, something got out... The one thing that the Regal Sisters worried would happen, as they knew now, their world was not yet safe as a new, but anicent threat arises...

Three months have passed since Tirek was banished to Tartarus again and peace in Equestria seemed to have be restored. However, in Canterlot, Princess Celestia was busy with her usual mountain of paperwork when her younger sister, Princess Luna, has come into the throne room with distressing news.
"Tia! We have some distressing news about....you know what...!" Luna said, giving her a stern and worried look.
Celestia, looks down to her sister, frowning and nodding knowing what she means. She looks to the guards that were in the room, "I need to discuss something with my sister in private...please leave us."
The guards nodded as they all began to make their way out the throne room and shutting the doors behind them, with just the two princesses.
Celestia sighs, looking down with much concern, "We both knew it was only a matter of time, Lulu. Things were looking up too, ever since Twilight and her friends sent Tirek back to Tartarus, but they don't even know of the evil that will likely befall our world again..."
Luna walks up to her older sister, as she sits down and has a comforting wing over her, trying to ease her worry, despite being just as worried. Celestia returns the favor and nuzzling her lovingly, "We may have time, I do sense the entity somewhere in Equestria, but I can't pinpoint it exactly. Wherever it is, it knows that it needs time before it will grow in strength again."
"We must act fast, dear sister. We must call in Twilight and her friends, and reveal the truth of what has been sealed for almost six thousand years... they need to be ready, as do we. Even we know that the powers of the Elements of Harmony alone won't stop this creature..." Celestia said directly, looking at the stained glass window of achievements that those who helped Equestria in the past, namely Twilight and her friends stopping Nightmare Moon and defeating Discord.
Luna gets up as she looks back to her sister, "But...even if we prepared ourselves...he won't come back..." Celestia looks at Luna, knowing who she was referring too, and looked down with a frown, "I know...even though he didn't stay in Equestria for too long, he still did so much for our world in the time he was here and left. But we have to face the facts that he won't return..."
Both sisters began to think on how they could get extra help, knowing full well that their power alone isn't going to be enough. Just then Luna smiles, "Ah! We could summon someone from the outside realm! I mean, we would need to focus as much of our magic to bring forth a warrior from outside this world!"
Celestia raises a hoof up to her mouth, at the thought, "Hmm...it might work. Only thing is, it would be difficult. We would need to focus all our power into finding one that knows what he or she will be up against, and as well as one is very understanding in the situation we dragged them into."
They both nodded as get up and walk to the center of the room, both standing a few feet from each other. "I never thought we'd be actually doing this kind of spell Tia. I mean it is a pretty powerful spell to summon one from outside the realm." Luna said, staring at her sister with concern.
It is true, as this was the first time in which Celestia or Luna, actually decided to perform a spell that may or may not be dangerous, giving that it needs time for preparation, but since time for them wasn't of the essence, they needed to act quickly.
"We must try to not wear ourselves out too much. Let us hope that there is at least one warrior that could be summoned easily beyond here." Celestia said sternly, as Luna nods.
They close their eyes as both their horns began to glow. Both struggle as they begin creating something on the floor in front of them, which began to warp a bit.

In an unknown area of the Interdimensional Rift, where it was all dark with many stars shining about and different holes that lead to places unknown, a lone traveler was walking about. He stops as he begins to sense something, something big. He walks to where it was coming from, and soon can hear a voice, well two voices that sounded like they were combined together.
"...Huh? What is that...talking?" The figure revealed to be a young man. He looked around and walked for what was like an hour as the voices echoed through the empty Rift, but soon, discovered the source. He stops and find what appears to be an odd looking portal. He could now hear the voices clearly.
"Is that....some sort of....summons? Is someone trying to call for help?" Then, the blue object around his neck glowed faintly, as if it was resonating with the portal.
"...Well, you glowing could mean one thing..." He smiles lightly, since not only it was likely the summons was for him, but he was going to visit a new world. With that in mind, he walks into the portal, not knowing where it would take him.
The Princesses waited for what felt like hours, when they just been standing there for 10 minutes. The two ponder if they were even able to summon someone or something, to come to their world.
Luna looks at her sister, with a look of unamusement, "Dear sister, I feel as though we accomplished nothing. We have been waiting here, gawking at the floor for awhile now, and I am already bored of waiting!" The young moon princess pouts.
Celestia looks over to her, before giggling softly at her, "Oh Lulu, I know it seems like we have been waiting for awhile, but it has been only ten minutes. I mean we can't really expect our summons to reach out far, but we must be patient."
Luna sighs, calming down and giving a small smile, "...I suppose your right Tia. Sorry. Its just, this is the very first time we are actually calling something from outside the borders of our world. I mean, who knows what this stranger would look like. For all we know, it could be some monster of sorts, or not even a pony."
"While whatever comes, we must welcome this stranger with open arms, and as give them as much respect as if they were any other pony. Fortunately, we were able to give our summons to one who would have an open heart, so we should be able to narrow it down to a good degree." Celestia said, still looking at the warped spot with a smile.
Luna simply nodded, "How are we going to explain our situation to this stranger? I mean they might be a bit confused and baffled at arriving in a world that isn't theirs."
Celestia chuckles, "No worries little sister, we shall be open with them, and surely they will be understanding to our plea. I am confident in that."
Just before Luna could say more in the matter, light begun to shine in the spot. The two alicorns were surprised by this, after waiting awhile for this, and jumped back a bit while keeping a calm composure. The light turns into a oval shaped portal, that stood a few inches taller than Celestia, and the two await with some eagerness to their visitor, and hopefully savior.

The young traveler of the Rift, who just entered a doorway after hearing the calls of some voices that came from the doorway, was walking in what looked like a long hallway of light as there was nothing but pure white. He just continued walking as he begins hear talking.
"Huh? What is that?" He looked around as he walked, listening carefully. His eyes looked ahead, "That sounds like the voices I heard coming in here. Could it be people?"
He picked up the pace as he can hear the talking getting more clear and close, meaning he was soon entering the world in which this doorway was taking him. He grinned widely, excited to see what kind of world it would be, as well as get some answers about the summoning.
Soon he sees the exit as he walks out of the doorway, his vision blurring a bit after just walking out of a long hallway that was white. His eyes adjusted to see where he was, the portal behind him closed as he looked ahead of himself, "Okay...looks like I'm in a castle of some sort...odd place for an exit point, figured I be someplace a bit more conspicuous..." He crossed his arms as goes into a deep thought, before hear a cough from behind that snaps him out as he turns around, to be meet with two alicorns. The tall white one was simply smiling lightly at him, while the smaller dark blue one just blinked at his appearance wondering what he was.
"Um....wow, this is new." The young man, stared back at the two, somewhat baffled, before he waves at them, having no idea how to approach the fact he is seeing two winged unicorns.
Celestia just giggles at his confusion and him waiting, before she returns it, "It is okay young one...we mean no harm. Please, step forward."
The young man blinks, realizing that she was talking, then again having psychic powers he was capable of understanding the speech of a Pokémon like it was nothing, however with Celestia he didn't get that, she was actually speaking normally. After she told him to step forward, he nods as he slowly walks in front of the two alicorns, still confused.
"I can tell that you wish to know where you are, and why you have arrived. We shall explain ourselves, but first allow us introduce ourselves." Celestia said, continuing her soft, calm gaze at the visitor.
"I am Princess Celestia, the Princess of the Sun and co-ruler of the land of Equestria." Celestia looks down to her sister. "And I am Princess Luna, the Princess of the Moon and co-ruler of the land of Equestria. We are sisters, Tia being the eldest and I'm the younger one." Luna said, still eyeing at him. "Who might you be...and what are you...?" The young princess asked.
He took this all in, as he learns he is in a land known as Equestria, the rulers of the land are winged unicorn ponies, and notices how colorful the place looks, compared to the other dimensions and worlds he has visited. Hearing that they are princesses, he immediately goes and kneels down, placing his hand over his chest, bowing.
"My name is Logan. I am known as the Eon Guardian, and hail from another dimension, on a world known as Earth. I am known as a human, which is prolly kind of out of place in...this world. Cuz if you two are really rulers of this land, then I am going to assume that it is mainly inhabited...by ponies." He said as he stood up looking at the two, as they nodded.
"Yes, you are indeed correct." The two princess go and explain to Logan the types of ponies that inhabit Equestria, what they do and how the world in which Equestria is in, functions as it relies heavily on the ponies, to which stuns the young Guardian.
"...I see. So pretty much most of the things that would occur naturally on my world, ponies actually take part in doing?" He asked as he crossed his arms, to which Luna tilts her head when he mentioned how his world functioned. "What do you mean by naturally occurring?"
Logan smiles, "Oh, well my planet actually does everything itself, as in it rotates on an axis, as it moves from day to night. Basically our world orbits around the sun, as it is the center star, and the moon lights the night sky naturally. Heck, the moon can even be seen during the day. Also, the weather also is all the planet's doing and such, but I won't go into much detail than that."
This actually stunned the princesses, learning how different their worlds were, but at the same time how similar they were as a society.
"Anyway, may I ask is how is it that you came to hear our summons?" Celestia asked changing the subject, curious as to how this man got there so easily.
"Oh, well I was traveling in the Rift." He just simply said.
They blinked and looked at him, "The...Rift? What's that?"
"The Interdimensional Rift, it is basically how I travel from world to world and dimensions. I was traveling through there when I heard, I guess it was your voices, and then this doorway opened up. So I figured, why not, and check it out. Was pretty excited to check out a new world, and so far, I am impressed."
The sisters looked at each other, smiling, realizing that not only did someone answer their call, but were in fact happy that he found their world impressive and came there, on his own free will.
Celestia looks to Logan, clearing her throat, "Well then, now that we got all that taken care of, I believe it is time we explain ourselves as to why we were calling for help from outside our world..."
He nods as he snaps his fingers, as a chair came out of nowhere and sat down, "I'm all ears, Your Highnesses."
They blinked as they saw the chair come out of nowhere when he snapped his fingers, "H...How did you...do that?" Luna was the first to asked, mouth wide open. Logan smiles, "Traveling through the Rifts of time and space, you learn some things, like summoning common things from another space, this case. My favorite chair from back home. Now then, not to sound brash, but I'll explain more of my abilities, after I hear the story you are gonna to share with me."
Celestia and Luna just look at each other, seeing how he was pretty eager to know why he was brought here, but eager in a calm and collective fashion. Celestia nods, "Right, here is what is going on..."
Celestia and Luna began explaining everything that has happened recently, and the story about the Ancient Evil now free from its imprisonment in the deepest bowels of Tartarus, and the ancient blade that was used by the Hero of Realms in the past. Logan sat there, as he listens very carefully and patiently with intrigue. The story itself seemed to have taken at least an hour and a half to explain.
"So you are in need of a champion of types, to help destroy this darkness from taking over your world?" He asked after they were finished.
"We know, we'd be sending a stranger of not from this world, into danger that they themselves shouldn't be involved in. The darkness is still at a weakened state, but it will regain its power in due time. How long that will take, we do not know..." Celestia closes her eyes, with a bit of regret in her voice, just having this young man get dragged into something he shouldn't even need to be involved in.
Logan sat back as he closed his eyes, going into deep thought for a minute. After which, a smile formed on his face, followed by a chuckle, "I guess I get dragged into a lot of affairs like these, I am a Guardian. I want to help others, protect those from those who wish to inflict mortal harm. I mean it isn't the first time I saved a world from disaster."
Both princesses ears perked up, "What do you mean? Your saying you saved another world in the past?" Celestia said in a surprised tone.
"Well yeah, it was a world known as Gaia. I made some friends there, a Red Mage girl, a family of Black Mages, family of dragon knights and dancers. Saved them from this crazed guy who wanted power, but feared about his own mortality and wanted to make sure everyone perished with him so he wouldn't be alone. Kind of sad story actually, but we were able to avert disaster there as it happened before in the past, believe or not. Now, there is peace there, but for me I haven't visited the world in like 2 years, which would likely be 20 years in their time..." He closes his eyes, remembering the Red Mage girl in particular.
They looked at him, amazed that he was able to accomplished something as dangerous as that, but also got helped from friends he formed there. Celestia then spoke up, "Well, we hope you'd be able to help us, as this task may be rather dangerous. But, if you are capable of exploring the land and-" She was cut off by Logan, "No worries, I'd love to meet some ponies and make new friends. Anyway I can help with this problem, I'm your guy."
"Just like that...you want to help us and make friends too?" Celestia eyes widen, not expecting him to actually accept the task that willingly.
"Well...yeah. I'm always up for meeting new people...or ponies. And its been awhile since I had a good adventure, so that in itself is a plus." He places his hands behind his head, smiling.
Both could do nothing but smile, "Well, we are so pleased that you are all for helping us!" Luna said excitedly.
"Indeed, now before you go out and get familiar with Equestria, there is one thing we want to do before you go." Celestia said with a smile.
Logan tilts his head, "What is it?" Celestia walked forward, looking at him, "We feel as though you should get acquainted being in Equestria, but since nopony has ever seen a human before we don't want to shock them..."
Logan blinked, at the fact that he is likely the only human in this world, "Well what do you propose?"
Celestia closes her eyes, thinking it through before looking at him, "You should at least look the part...if you know what I mean."
Logan thought about what she meant before coming to the conclusion, "Ooooooooh, I see. Well if that is what you wish for me, then I won't refuse that. Just as long, as I can reclaim this form."
Celestia nods, "Yes, of course. It would be wrong if we would make you into something and had no intention having you turn back to what your suppose to be."
Logan smiles, "Well then, go on ahead. Change me, it will be fine. The magic would go into this..." He holds up a small, blue looking orb that was dark blue around the center and sky blue in the outer parts, "...and I can just focus my mind into shifting back to human then."
The more they hear about his abilities, the more it interests the princesses as he seems to have know magic that would likely be forbidden, like arcane magic spells, which in his case be Black Magic spells. Not wanting to waste any time, the sisters close their eyes as their horns begin glowing an aura around them, as their combined aura surrounds Logan, making him feel relaxed as he becomes enveloped in light. The magic begins being absorbed into the small blue spherical orb, as well as beginning to change his physical appearance.
Soon the light fades, as the two sisters open their eyes to see if they were successful, to their surprise, it was. There now stood a light gray, Earth Stallion, with blond spiky mane and tail, brown eyes, and on his flank, a green triangle symbol that was seen on his clothing which is now gone. He looks at his new form and examines himself, "Wow, don't know when the last time it was when I was on fours, normally I'd be hovering and have wings, but I can get used to this." He gives a smile, to which the two princesses giggled and smiled as well at his new form.
"You do make one handsome gentlecolt." Said Celestia, who was just happy to know that she and Luna were able to transform him into a pony.
"Now then, with that done, I suggest that you head for the small town called Ponyville. You will see a large crystal-like tree just sitting outside the town. That is the castle of my faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. She is also a princess, a Princess of Friendship. She would likely be thrilled to meet you. There is a train station that goes from and to Ponyville often so you can just ride there, but you would need bits to buy a ticket, and since you aren't from this world, I doubt you have any to spare..."
Logan smirked, "Oh no worries..." He made a bag appear out of nowhere like he did with the chair, "...I never leave home unprepared." Inside the bag, was likely 5000 bits, which astonished the princesses that he had money already and just came to this world. "Wherever I go, any money that I have, will just change into the local currency, so I am ALWAYS prepared."
The two sisters just looked at each other, now really wanting to know more about this man, or pony, but really need to let him go. "Well then, you should have no problems getting to Ponyville. I will send a letter to Twilight and let her know about your arrival and to be expecting you. I would have summoned her and her friends here, but I think you could do a good job explaining everything that me and my sister told you. We have a good feeling about you, so I trust you won't fail." Celestia said with a caring grin, which he returns.
"Don't worry I will not let you down, I promise you..." He kneels on one hoof, "...I will do my utmost to keep your world safe..." Luna and Celestia nod as the latter, "If you wish to speak to us, don't feel hesitant to come back here. We will try and assist you in anyway possible. As well, feel free to talk to the other ponies, surely they will help you as well, especially Twilight and her friends."
He nods as he begins to head to the large doors, "Oh! Before you go, one more thing..." He turns his head back, "...We figured that since your a pony for now, maybe you should go by another alias, because we feel that you shouldn't tell everypony that you come from another world, but since Twilight is the most trustworthy pony we know, she would sure to believe you. But its best to keep your origins a secret from everypony else, understood?" Celestia said, giving him a serious look, but still saying it in a caring tone.
The pony nods, "Of course, and as for a name, tell Twilight to expect a...'Silver Guardian' to visit her. Okay?" He smiles.
Celestia nods, smiling, "Of course Silver, I will tell Twilight who to expect. Now you are free to go. Good luck out there."
He nods, giving a salute as he rushes out of the double doors. Luna giggles as she watched him go, to which Celestia looks at her, "What is so funny Lulu?" Luna just looks the other, holding her smirk, "Its nothing dear sister...just his name. It...fits him so well."
Celestia looks to where Logan ran out, before giggling too, "I suppose your right..."
It was a wonderful afternoon in Ponyville, as the citizens of the small, quiet little town were going about their business. Just in the outskirts of the town, rested a large tree made of dark blue crystal, with a purple castle resting at the top of it, the entrance being at the base of the trunk, a balcony on the left with a pink banner that had an etching of a starburst, with a giant light blue crystal starburst that glistened in the sun, as the castle itself sparkles beautifully. Resting on the balcony of the castle, a young lavender alicorn with a purple mane and a streak of pink, purple eyes and her cutie mark being represented by a pink starburst with white sparkling stars around it, was sipping some tea and reading a bunch of books.
Her name is Twilight Sparkle, and she is the Princess of Friendship and this was her castle.
While reading, she hears the distant whistle of the train that was leaving Canterlot, which can be seen clearly from Ponyville as it rested on the cliff side of a mountain. As she continues, she hears footsteps running toward her.
"Twilight! You out here?" Called the voice.
"Out here Spike!" She replies, still reading her book.
Out came a small purple baby dragon with green eyes, green spikes that went from his head to his tail, and green fin-like ears. This is Spike, Twilight's number one assistant and closest friend that has been with her since she was a filly when she hatched him from an egg.
"Twi...Twilight...sorry to bug you now, but you got a letter from the Princess!" Spike holds up a scroll, catching his breath.
"Hmm? From the Princess? Let me see!" Twilight closed her book as she turns around, levitating the scroll and opening it up to read the contents. She always gets excited when she receives a letter from her former teacher, as she writes to her on a daily basis to share her experiences of being the Princess of Friendship, and Celestia always wrote back to her with her response.
My Dearest Twilight,
I have written this letter to inform you of a visitor that has come to Equestria. He will explain something of dire importance that I, regrettably, am unable to explain to you at this moment. He goes by the name of "Silver Guardian" and I have explained important information to him and that you would expect his arrival. He has just left Canterlot not to long ago and should be in Ponyville within the hour. Gather your friends, and try to welcome this visitor and help him adapt to life here. I trust that you will you and your friends shouldn't have any trouble warming up to him, as he is a very kind and gentle 'pony'. He will answer any questions that you might have, so do listen to what he is going to share with you. I look forward to hearing from you again my faithful princess.

"A new visitor with information the Princess couldn't share with me personally? Hmm..."
Twilight ponders for a moment, "...If the Princess has trusted this stranger with information she gave to him, and says he is an open pony, then I suppose we should go by her word. Though...I wonder why she put some emphasis on him being a pony... "
She looks to Spike, "The train that left Canterlot not too long ago is likely going to stop at the station soon, we should go find the girls and go to the station to greet this new pony!"
Spike tilts his head, "But don't you find it odd the Princess just told some random pony about things that she would have otherwise shared with you up front, and that we are expected to listen to this random pony?"
Twilight looks to Spike, nodding slightly, "You are right Spike. It is pretty odd that she couldn't just fly down here or just tell me the information in the letter, but like I said, if this stranger has the Princess's trust, then he must be a reliable pony! Besides, it would be nice to make a new friend if possible." She giggles.
"Come on Spike, lets go get the girls!" Twilight said as she runs back into the castle, with Spike nodding and chasing after her, "Wait up!"

On the train ride from Canterlot, Logan was sitting in his seat as he watches the world pass by, with great interest. A world, that was mainly inhabited by ponies of many colors, very vivid and colorful landscapes, and where the Sun and Moon were controlled by the two rulers of the land.
"This has to be one interesting place, I mean it is almost like home. Only take the humans out and place small horses of various colors and types and boom!" He thought to himself, as he chuckles lightly.
"The only thing missing are a few Pokémon, I can see Pontya and Rapidash roaming this land, and even Keldeo, now that I think about, it looks almost like a pony, minus the...what was it, cutie mark? Yeah, that's it." He shakes his head, realizing how silly that idea would be. Then again, it wouldn't seem too out of place, problem would be if the world's balance would teeter because of creatures form one dimension, some how made their way here to this dimension, which could cause time and space itself to go crazy, which would be the case of Dialga and Palkia came here and left Earth, it would be like the Distortion World, but on a grander scale.
He looks out and sees the castle that rested just outside of the small town of Ponyville, which made him more interested.
"Wonder how these ponies are gonna react when I tell them everything Celestia and Luna told me. Wonder if they will buy it, then again I am an outside who just answered the call for help and ended up here. Then again, would have happened eventually, given how I am traveling the Rift."
He sees a clock that read "1:43 PM". "So the train should be arriving in 17 minutes...might as well take a power nap while I wait to get there." He said quietly, as he goes and closes his eyes.

At Ponyville Train Station, Twilight and Spike were standing on the platform waiting for the train to come. Waiting with them, were three other ponies that were watching for the train too.
"So Twi, what do you know about this fella we are waitin for?" The orange mare asked.
"Not a clue Applejack. Celestia was vague about our visitor, but said that he is going to answer any questions we might have, and explain what Celestia told him." Twilight explained.
"But wouldn't it just been easier for the Princess to just tell you this important in person, Twilight darling?" Asked the white unicorn mare.
"I know, Spike and me thought about that too Rarity, but you know how the Princess can be. But if she says that we can trust this mysterious pony, then I will have her word for it." Twilight said as she looks to her friend.
"OH OH! YOU THINK HE LIKES PARTIES!? HE HAS TO LIKE PARTIES! I NEED TO THROW HIM A WELCOME TO EQUESTRIA PARTY!!" The excited, hyper, bubbly pink earth pony shouted excited, smiling brightly as she hopped around.
"Oh Pinkie, I'm sure he'll love parties. Celestia did say that he was a pretty open and nice pony, so who knows he can be our new friend!" Twilight clapped her hooves together, excitedly, which made Pinkie gasp, the fact this pony could be their new friend, and do fun stuff together.
"Heh, never seen ya this excited for a visitor Twilight." The orange earth mare chuckles at Twilight's giddiness.
Twilight blushed as she looks the other way, "Heh..." She then heard the train in the distance, which prompted the girls to look as they see the smoke from locomotive slowly make its approach to Ponyville.
"It's almost here! Let's give our new guest a nice warm welcome shall we?" Twilight looks to the girls, excited, as they nod, just as eager to meet this pony for the first time.

The train was making its slow approach to Ponyville Train Station, as the sleeping stallion stirs from his 17 minute power nap. "Ugh...hmm?"
"Now approaching Ponyville Station..."
"Wow, that was a fast 17 minutes..." He gets up from his seat as he stretches, moving his head around. "Phew, alright then."
The train begins to slow down as it stops completely in front of the platform. The ponies that were on board got up, as they begin to board off the train, the young Guardian following behind. As he gets off the train, he smells the air, and relaxes, "Now that is nice country..." He looks around as he notices 4 ponies and a baby dragon looking toward him, realizing that one of them was an alicorn. He then approaches them and stops and smiles lightly.
"HI!!" The pink pony gets up to his face, smiling wildly, hopping in excitedly. "Are you the new pony??"
The stallion was taken aback from the pink pony's hyperactive and giddiness, before he chuckles, "Well, that depends. Am I being expected?"
The young alicorn then walks up to him, "Well, are you by chance Silver Guardian? Princess Celestia sent a letter, saying we are expecting that pony, although she was rather vague on what he looked like."
He then smiles, as he took a bow, "I am that pony, Your Young Highness. I am Silver Guardian." Twilight eyes brighten up, and giggled at the same time, "You don't have to be formal with me, just think of me as your everyday typical pony."
Logan nods as he stands back up, "Sorry, force of habit. Only fair I be respectful to those with higher authority. I'm just that caring." He chuckles.
"Well that is fine. Anyway allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Twilight Sparkle, and yes I am a Princess too. It is wonderful to meet you, Silver Guardian." She holds her hoof out. He then goes and shakes her hoof with is, "Pleasure is all my Twilight." Twilight just smiles warmly, seeing how Celestia was right. He is a caring individual.
"Howdy there! Name's Applejack! Nice to meet ya!" Applejack tilts her hat down as she greeted him, "Come by to Sweet Apple Acres, biggest apple orchard this side of Equestria! The Apply Family is always happy to meet new ponies!" "The name is Rarity darling, and my aren't a very handsome stallion."~ Rarity giggles as she bows her head down. Logan just laughed a bit as he returns the bow, "Charmed to meet you Rarity, and thank you for the compliment." "Hiii! My name is Pinkie Pie! And I love to make new friends and throw parties! I need to throw you a welcome party, and then a party to celebrate being friends!!~" Pinkie hops happily and carefree, to which Logan immediately smiles, and laughs.
"Really nice to meet you Pinkie. Oh, that energy, gotta admire that spirit!" He laughs as he pats Pinkie on the head, to which Pinkie giggled a lot, "We only just met, and I can tell your gonna be LOTS OF FUN!! I'M SO HAPPY WE MET SILVER!!~"
They all laughed, as Logan looks down at the purple dragon, "And who might you be, young one?" "Name's Spike! I am Twilight's number one assistant, and pretty much the only dragon here in Ponyville. Kind of a big deal." He boasted. "So there are dragons in this land as well... this place just fascinates me more." Logan thought to himself, before looking back at Spike, "Well good to meet you Spike. I'm sure we can get along just fine."
"Well, we have two more friends that want to meet you too, but they are taking caring of a few things, so you can meet them later." Twilight explained.
"Well I am glad to meet all of you then. So, I bet you have A LOT of questions. And yes, I do have the answers, but before we go into a Q&A session I think I need to explain to you why exactly I am here. Whenever your other two friends arrive, I can then tell you everything that Princess Celestia and Princess Luna told me. Sound good? He asked looking at the group.
They all nod.
"Awesome! Now then, where is there a place where we can then discuss everything you want to know?" He asked, still smiling warmly.
"We can meet at my castle. It basically is where me and my friends go and have discussions on anything that is related with the state of Equestria, as well as our little meeting place." Twilight replied as she motioned her hoof toward the castle that sat in the distance, just on the other side of town.
"Sounds good then. So in the meantime, who wants to give me a tour of this place? I always eager to explore new places!" He said as he clapped his hooves together.
"OOH OOH! ME!! ME!! I'LL DO IT!!" Pinkie shouted, raising her hoof up happily.
They laugh, "Well Pinkie, you give Silver the tour around town, and then we will meet up at the castle later. Me and Spike need to do some errands while were in town." Twilight explained as Spikes nods.
"Same here, sugarcube. We'll meet up later then! Good to meet ya, Silver!" Said Applejack as he began to dash off into town. "And I need to go finish an order up dear. But I will be sure to see you all later then! Do drop by Silver, I might make a outfit for you. Something tells me, you would look gorgeous in a set of clothing!" Rarity giggled as she looks him over.
Logan just chuckles, "Well, I wouldn't want to impose, but if you really want to make me something, I have something in mind, but I'll give the details later. Okay?" He said looking back at the white mare, who just squee'd in delight, "Of course! Tell me everything then! Ta-ta for now dearies!~" Rarity waves as she walks off back to her Boutique.
Soon it was just Pinkie and Logan, the pink mare just excited, "Oh boy! Come on Silver! Let Auntie Pinkie Pie give you the grand tour of Ponyville!~" She said as she hopped off, with the young Guardian following behind her, chuckling at her randomness, and then says to himself, "I'm likely a few years older than you Pinkie...just met this pony and I already like her. She just brings my spirits up..."
With that, the two head off into Ponyville, waiting to be explored by the distant traveler of the Rift.
Logan was enjoying his little tour around Ponyville, as the bubbly Pinkie Pie was hopping alongside him, pointing every little detail out, explaining what building was what, as well as listening to the mare just go on and on about the most random of things, as he just trotted next to her, listening to every detail. Any normal pony, would have likely went brain dead from listening to Pinkie talk on at a fast pace, but for the young Guardian, he was totally fine with it, as he just chuckles to himself. Soon, they arrived at the next stop, as Pinkie exclaimed happily.
"And this is Sugarcube Corner! This is where I work and live, with the Cakes who operate it! It is SOOOOOOOO much fun to bake all day, everyday and plan parties! Ooooh, reminds me that I gotta throw your 'Welcome to Equestria' party!!!~ You love parties right?? Huh, HUH!?" The mare grinned widely as she gets up to his face, meeting the stallions brown eyes.
He just smiles lightly, staring back into her eyes, "Of course I love parties, just never get time to celebrate a lot of them, since I am always on the go."
"Awww, well then I am gonna throw you a SUPER DUPER WELCOME PARTY THEN!!" Pinkie giggled.
He just chuckles, as he then notices two ponies that were coming out of the shop. Both were pegasus mares, one was a cyan colored pony with rainbow colored mane and tail with a cloud and rainbow colored lightning bolt on her flank, and the other was a yellow colored pony, with pink mane and tail, with three pink butterflies on her flank.
Pinkie sees them and gasps happily, "Oh hi Dashie! Hi Fluttershy!~" She hops over to the two ponies, who see her and smiled brightly.
"Heh, hey there Pinkie Pie! What's going on?" She grinned as she noticed Logan behind her standing, smiling lightly at the three, "And whose that with you? That a new pony?"
"Mmmhmm! Yep yep! This is that pony that Twilight said was coming to visit, the one the Princess sent!" Pinkie replied, hopping excitedly.
"Really?" The cyan pony asked, as he floats over to the young stallion.
"Hey there! Name's Rainbow Dash, most awesome and fastest flier in Equestria!" Dash grinned proudly as she bumps her chest with her hoof.
"Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash, I'm Silver Guardian." The stallion grinned lightly, and chuckles once more.
Soon, the yellow pegasus walks up to the two, as she looked down, hiding her face behind her long mane, "U-um...hello. My name is..." She whispered quietly.
Logan just looks at her and gives her a calm and warm look, "You are Fluttershy...correct?" He lifts his hoof up to her slowly, "I'm Silver Guardian, you don't need to be shy with me..."
Fluttershy just looks into the stallions eyes, seeing the sincerity and warmth in them, to which she smiles lightly, and shakes his hoof slowly, "N-nice to meet you Silver..."
He gives a very warm smile, which somehow brightens up the timid mare a bit and then looks to Pinkie, "Well I really enjoyed the tour around town Pinkie. It was so...descriptive and informative."
Pinkie nods and smiles warmly back, "Don't mention it! Always happy share every little itty, bitty, thing about Ponyville!~"
He just laughs to himself as he looks to the three mares, "Anyway, I do believe the others are at the castle. Shall we get going there, because I know you have questions, and of course, I will be happy to oblige, but I need to discuss the important matters that Celestia and Luna shared with me, before we go into QnA."
They nod, "Let's go then!" Dash exclaimed as she bolted off, leaving a rainbow streak behind, heading toward the castle.
"Okay...we'll see you two there then... And Silver, it was very nice to meet you..." Fluttershy smiled lightly at him as she starts to fly after Rainbow Dash.
"Well then, shall we Pinkie?" Logan asked, looking at her.
"Okie-doki-lokie!" She replied as she began bouncing off, with Logan following behind.
As he was going, he immediately stopped, "Hmm...?" He looks around, "...That presence just now, it felt....familiar..." He closes his eyes and thinks. "Almost felt like..." Before he can finish, he heard a shout.
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEY SILVER!! COME ON!!!" Said Pinkie, yelling to the stallion, as his eyes snapped open.
"Oh...sorry Pinkie! Was imagining something!" He gallops after her, and looks back toward the shop, "...Was I imagining it?" He shook his head as he continued after Pinkie.
As he was going, a white unicorn with a pale yellow mane and tail, garbed in red and wore a red hat with a feather on the side with a black band around the hat, and had a purple jewel around her neck, watched the stallion galloped away.
She gave a soft smile, saying quietly, "...Don't worry, soon...I promise..." With that she vanished.

Soon, everyone gathered at the meeting hall of Twilight's castle, each pony sat in their own throne, each boring their cutie marks, minus Spike who stood beside Twilight's throne.
"Alright everypony, as you know, the Princesses have sent this young stallion to tell us something of dire importance. I'm sure you all met Silver?" Twilight asked, smiling lightly.
All the ponies nodded, while they sat there, as Logan stood in the center of the room, taking the floor.
"Well then, Silver Guardian, the Princess Celestia and Luna have told you something that is very important, and we wish to know what exactly it is they told you, and then we want some answers as to who you are, since it is odd that they would just send a stranger to tell us of these matters instead of having to come down and tell us themselves. We really don't want to put you on the spot like this, since we just met you and you already seem like a very nice pony---" Before Twilight could continue, he raised his hoof, smiling lightly.
"It is alright Twilight. You seven have been very kind and accepting of me here, I can tell we are gonna get along great! But now onto the important matters. I ask that you hold off personal questions until after what I have to say. Okay?" He looks to the ponies, who nodded, as Pinkie was excited, she took a bag of popcorn out of her mane and began munching on it, leaving Logan to just chuckle and shake his head at the pink pony's antics.
"Alright, here is what I was told by Princess Celestia and Luna..." He took a deep breath, and gave a serious look.
"...An Ancient Evil has returned..." The ponies and Spike just blink, wondering what he meant, Fluttershy squeaked at the mention of evil.
"I don't know if you heard about this tale, because Celestia told me that the events that transpired five millenia ago, was something that wasn't well documented, since it lasted only a few weeks." He said, looking at them, Twilight leaned in close, as she seemed very interested in learning about this event.
"This is...the Legend of the Harmonia..."
The ponies didn't say a thing, though he can tell, they were already interested as they never seemed to have heard of this story.
"5000 years ago, after the one named Discord was sealed in stone by the Regal Sisters, a mysterious entity arrived on your world. At first, nopony seemed to bear in mind to it, as it only seemed to hang around in the shadows, around what is now known as the Everfree Forest. A couple weeks later though, that changed..."
"An entity of unknown origin....interesting..." Twilight thought to herself.
"The entity soon began to absorb the darkness within the hearts of ponies, as you know we all bear a little light and a little darkness in our hearts, can't have one without the other and all that. The entity began to become more and more like a being from which no pony should ever have to see. This being is called...Vexis."
"A being that absorbs the darkness...in your heart...oh-oh my...." Fluttershy closed her eyes, having that image in her head, before trying to think of something else.
"Vexis intention was never made clear, as it just wanted to consume your world, like swallowing the planet whole, sending it into nothingness. The Princesses attempted to use the Elements of Harmony to stop the being, but it absorbed so much, the Elements did little to nothing. For the first time, the sisters thought it was hopeless as the Elements were their only line of defense..that is until hope didn't leave them yet..."
"This is getting gooooood...!~" Pinkie said to herself as she munched on her popcorn.
"A mysterious figure appeared from nowhere, and stood at their sides, wielding a mythical, ancient blade that is said to be the full power of harmony itself. With their help, the Princesses used the powers of the Elements once more, this time combining the power of the blade, and the mysterious being was able to smite Vexis away. He saved everypony, saved an entire world from impeding doom, the being became known as the Hero of Realms."
All their eyes widen, just at the thought of some mysterious hero, appearing to their world and saving it from a great darkness like Vexis.
"They called the being that, as it turns out, he wasn't from Equestria, but from another dimension entirely. He saved countless other worlds and dimensions from evil, and it seemed he came in the nick of time to save yours..."
"A being from another dimension...?! There are other universes and worlds outside of this one...?" Twilight's eyes bugged out at the thought, but at the same time, she smiled brightly at the thought of other places outside of her world.
"Before he left this world, he helped the Princesses seal Vexis away in the deepest reaches of Tartarus, as the power of Harmonia and the Elements weakened it a lot. He left the blade here, to act as a key to the seal, and the Princesses sealed the ancient weapon away, in the hopes it wouldn't need to be disturbed as Vexis wasn't gonna return..."
"Wow Silver...my life reading all the books on lores and myths, I never heard of this story before, did the Princesses only know of this?" Twilight asked.
He smiles lightly, "I am going to get to that shortly Twilight, patience is a virtue."
Twilight just chuckles light as she blushed, looking away, "Heh...sorry, continue."
"Peace was restored for the time being, there was no sign of Vexis or any influence that the world was in peril, all was good...until 2000 years later. It was when Luna became the one known as Nightmare Moon, and was banished by Celestia to the Moon using the Elements. Peace was restored once more, but at a price..."
They all leaned in, gasping quietly.
"The seal...the seal that kept Vexis from returning, was beginning the wane. Since the Elements lost all their power after Luna was banished to the Moon, and were no longer bound to Celestia, the powers of the Harmonia were beginning to weaken as during that time, the Harmonia forged a strong connection to the Elements, but since they were no longer in power, it had to rely on the power of the Tree of Harmony, but even that would postpone the inevitable, as without the Elements being with the Tree, the Tree begins to weaken itself, thus making the seal weaken more."
He clears his throat quickly before continuing, catching his breath.
"1000 years later, Nightmare Moon returned to Equestria, her 1000 year banishment at an end. I believe you know the rest of this story girls, since this is when you all met and became the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony. You were able to stop Nightmare Moon and bring Luna back to normal, and I must say I never thought that friendship would be that powerful to do that."
Twilight just giggles, "Well, friendship is magic Silver..."
"However, you may have become the new bearers of the Elements and brought back their power, but the seal that kept Vexis away was broken. Problem was, Vexis has no way of getting out of Tartarus, so it just bides its time, to when an opening to escape occurs...and it did, recently..."
The girls took a minute before they gasped, "Y...you mean when..."
"Yes, after you stopped Tirek and sent him back to Tartarus, Vexis took this time to finally be able to escape Tartarus, and now it has returned..."
"S-so, the world is gonna get consumed a-again...!?" Fluttershy freaked out.
"Well it shouldn't be a problem! All we need to do is just find it and just smash it! We've been through worse things girls! This shouldn't be a problem, even for as someone as awesome as me!" Dash gloated.
"That may be the case Dash, Vexis could still be stopped...if it weren't for two factors..." Logan continued, looking at her seriously. The stare made even Dash cringe slightly, as if he was staring into her very soul. She then wondered if this is how animals felt when Fluttershy gave them the Stare.
"W-what factors...?" Dash muttered.
"One factor being and this should be a good one, Vexis may still be very weak. You think 5000 years imprisoned in the deepest reaches of Tartarus, it would have needed to absorb the darkness within those imprisoned there, but I feel that the Princesses knew that this would have been an issue so they isolated Vexis so it wouldn't do so. It would need time before it can return to it's full power, and how long that will take, I do not know, even the Princesses don't know. It could take a week, maybe a year, there is no telling for sure."
They all seemed to sigh in relief, knowing that took a bit of pressure off, but knew it would happen in due time, they just hope it won't be anytime soon.
"The second factor...the main IMPORTANT factor. Harmonia itself, where could it be hidden?"
They all looked at him, but seeing as they just learned of this stuff now, they don't know how to respond to that question.
"Exactly, we don't know where it is sealed away, and by Arceus it will take forever to search if we don't know where it is at." He closed his eyes in thought now.
"...Um, who the hay is Arceus...?" Applejack asked.
"Soon Applejack, soon." He stated looking at the farmer pony. "I asked Celestia and Luna if they recalled where the blade was sealed, but...they can't remember. And I know what your thinking, how is it that the Princesses could have forgotten about the location of the one weapon that was used to save their world...? For all we know, Vexis could have made them forget where they sealed the blade when they sealed the darkness away, we don't know. Meaning we are on our own, since texts and records about the event, there is little to no information, as to what Twilight was asking earlier, they didn't want other ponies to know about this event, because they knew it would strike more fear into their hearts if they knew Vexis could return, and fear feeds the darkness. So if Vexis did return, they needed to stay optimistic and have high hopes, which is likely why it will take time for it to return to its original strength, because as long as their light stays bright, Vexis won't be able to come close to consuming their darkness..." He explained.
He takes a deep breath, "And that, my fair ponies and dragon, is the Legend of Harmonia..."
Pinkie just clapped her hooves, "Wooo!! THAT WAS AN AWESOME STORY!! Hard to believe it actually happened and the fact that this mean darkness wants to eat our world again, BUT STILL AN AWESOME STORY!!~"
He just shakes his head, "Oh Pinkie, how random are you?"
"Exactly! Thank you!" Dash exclaimed, knowing she isn't the only one that realizes this, and that somepony shares this idea with her.
"I must say Silver, this is a lot to take in... I mean we just got done dealing with Tirek three months ago, and now a threat that has been around since the end of Discord's reign, you really think we can stop this Vexis before it takes over...?" Twilight said, giving a concerned look, as the girls seem to do the same, looking at the stallion.
He closed his eyes and looks to her, smiling calmly, "You girls have been through so much...like Rainbow Dash said, if you were able to stop someone as evil as Tirek, then I have faith that you will be able to do the same to Vexis....and you won't be alone, because I will be with all you, we will do this together! This time, we will make sure Vexis stays gone forever!" He said with determination, smiling brightly as he raised his hoof up. "Whose with me on this?"
The girls just blinked, taken aback by his sudden change in mood, but seeing him that determined and serious, just made them all smile.
"Yer right sugarcube! We done some much fer Equestria, we can do this together!" Applejack grinned as she raised her hoof up.
"Count me in! It may be dangerous, knowing that if Vexis succeeds then its over, but I am gonna be with you guys all the way through!" Dash flew up, proud and determined as she raised her hoof up.
"Must say darling, we may have just met you today, yet you are so bold and willing to risk your life to help us, I know we can do this together, as long as we have each other!!~" Rarity smiles warmly raising her hoof.
"WOOHOO WERE GONNA SAVE THE WORLD AGAIN!! AND ITS WITH A NEW FRIEND!!!~" Pinkie hops around as excitedly as she raised her hoof up, "I'M TOTALLY IN!!~"
"Um...its scary knowing all this...but, you would want to help save Equestria from a threat this big...I really wouldn't want to fight this being...b-but, as long as your with us...then I will help too...!" Fluttershy, nervously, raised her hoof.
Twilight looks to her friends and Silver, knowing that there is more to this pony than meets the eye, but seeing how he is capable of showing this much determination and valor, wanting to help them keep Equestria safe too, she just smiled brightly as she raised her hoof, "As long as we remain together, no matter what happens, we will be friends to the end!"
Logan looks to them, as they look back, and he chuckles thinking to himself, "Well, I can say this is gonna be a challenging quest, but...as long as we keep our hopes high, then there is no way we can fail..."
He puts his hoof down, "Now then, I'm glad you are all on board with this, despite knowing the risks. But, we need to keep our hopes high, our spirits up, and not let anything falter us. So, I guess now, it is time for a QnA session. I know that you have a lot of questions, like where I am from and what do I do and such, well, if the story surprised you all that much...get ready for a bigger one, because I have a dozy of answers..."
Pinkie just laughed, "Yaaay, more surprises!~"
He chuckles, "So, who wants to ask first?"
The girls looked at each other and grinned, as Twilight looks at him, "I do. Who exactly are you...and where are you from?"
He looks to the princess, and just smirked thinking to himself.
