The Couple
Diamond Tiara was not a very happy filly. She had just had enough punishments to last her the rest of her life. Her nemesis, Sweetie Belle, had gotten her in trouble, so she decided to kidnap her crush, Button Mash, and hold him for ransom. Unfortunately, not only was Button Mash not Sweetie Belle's crush, Diamond's father had caught her with the colt tied to her bed. After a very awkward talk about boundaries and maturity, her father had grounded Diamond for two weeks. Sweetie Belle had told Button's mother, who, being the overprotective mom she was, almost sent Diamond to Tartarus. After Button had calmed her down, she settled on having Diamond buy Button Mash a new video game. Finally, the news of the event had reached Cherilee. She had given Diamond detention for a month, as well as extra homework.
Diamond sighed as she stared up at the ceiling of her room. She was lying on the bed that had previously had a kidnapped colt tied to it. In reality, what bothered her the most was not the grounding or any other one of her punishments. It was the fact that she didn't get to blackmail Sweetie Belle. After all, that had been the main reason for kidnapping Button Mash. Diamond Tiara smiled once again as she thought of the colt. She realized that one good thing had come from the whole thing. After being with Button Mash for so long, Diamond had developed feelings for the gamer. She rolled over on her bed as a blush spread across her face. She hated to admit it, but she enjoyed the sight of Button tied to her bed.
"Oh, Button" she cooed out loud. "I always get what I want and right now, I want you."
"Ok, every pony. It's time for recess!" Fillies and colts shouted excitedly as they made their way out of the schoolhouse. Once every pony had exited the building, most of them headed onto the playground. This included Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon.
"So, Diamond. How are you handling being grounded?"
"It's not that bad. After all, it gives me a lot of time to think of..." Diamond stopped when she realized what she was saying. She hadn't told any pony about her crush, including her best friend.
"Think of what?"
"Think of...life." Diamond lied. Unfortunately, Silver Spoon could tell when her best friend was lying and gave Diaomnd an unconvinced look.
"What do you really think about, Diamond?"
"Ok, Spoons, you deserve to know. You see..." Diamond could;t bring herself to admit it.
"Just spit it out?"
"Well, uh...hey! Is that Sweetie Belle and Rumble kissing!" Silver Spoon turned away and sure enough, the white unicorn filly and grey pegasus colt had their lips pressed together. Instantly, Diamond Tiara grew a deep shade of red and began fuming. "When did those blank flanks start dating!?"
"About a week ago. He asked her out while you were in detention. Sorry, Diamond, but it looks like she got a colt friend before you did."
"No she didn't."
"What!?"
"Watch this." Diamond then trotted to the center of they playground as Silver Spoon looked on in confusion. "Attention every pony!" At her words, every filly and colt on the playground turned their heads to look at Diamond Tiara. "I would like to make an announcement. As of two weeks ago, Button Mash and I have been dating!" Every pony let out a collective gasp as the processed Diamond's words.
"Yeah right!" yelled Scootaloo as she and Apple Bloom joined Diamond at the center of the playground. "There's no way any colt would want to date you."
"That's right." Sweetie Belle added as she and Rumble joined them at the middle. "Especially one you kidnapped." Every pony gasped again when they heard what Diamond Tiara had done.
"It's true. I kidnapped Button, but while I was holding him captive, we fell in love. Isn't that right, Mashy?" Every pony turned their heads to Button Mash, who wore an expression of shock and confusion. "I said, isn't that right, Mashy!" Button, not knowing how to respond, answered hastily.
"Uh...yeah. That's right."
"What!" yelled Sweetie Belle.
"What's the matter, blank flank. Jealous?"
"What? No! I've already got a colt friend!"
"But I've had one for a week longer."
"So, what?"
"So, that means I'm better than you."
"Not really."
"Whatever." Diamond left the center and walked up to Button Mash. "Come on, Mashy. Let's go."
"Uhhhhhh..."
"I said let's go!"
"Alright!" Button hesitantly walked away with Diamond Tiara beside him.
As Button Mash and Diamond Tiara walked through town, ponies kept on going them weird looks and awkward stares. Most of the residents of Ponyville had heard about Button's kidnapping. The two eventually made it to Diamond's house, where she unlocked the door and went inside. However, Button Mash stiffened and refused to enter the house. Eventually, Diamond Tiara reappeared through the doorway and pulled Button Mash through the door.
"Come on, Mashy." Diamond coaxed. She grabbed his hoof and led him up the stairs. They walked down the hall until they reached Diamond's room. Again, Button tensed up and hesitated before taking another step. However, Diamond knew exactly what to do. She placed a kiss on Button's cheek, making them both blush. "Let's go, Mashy. There's more where that came from." Button felt like he had lost all feelings in his legs, but complied and somehow walked forward into Diamond's room. Diamod then hopped onto her bed and patted the space next to her with a hoof. He understood what she meant and went to join her.
"So, uh...how are going to do this?"
"Oh, you'll see." Diamond then closed her eyes, puckered her lips, and leaned in to Button Mash. Button hesitated once more, but quickly mirrored Diamond's actions. Their muzzles were only an inch apart when Button felt Diamond lunge on him.
"Hey! What gives!?" Diamond then pulled out rope from under her bead and began tying Button dow. When she was done, he was in the same position he was in two weeks ago.
"Don't worry, Mashy. You'll enjoy yourself this time." Just then, Filthy Rich came into the room.
"Diamond, I thought I heard you taking to some pon..." He stopped when he saw the scene in front of him. However, this time he didn't get mad at his daughter and only looked at her disappointedly. "Seriously, Diamond? Again?"
