> Meeting the lord of the Eternal Realm > by The Red Chronicler > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Ch1 Twilight Sparkle > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ch1 Twilight Sparkle Twilight Sparkle had been sitting at her desk doing some more research when she felt something strange in her home. It was only when she looked around that she noticed a simple white door standing in the middle of her room with no reason of being there. “Well hello there. I don’t recall this being in my room,” she began examining the odd sight and decided that it was a normal door until she went ahead and opened it, and was not prepared for what happened next. Instead of just seeing the rest of her room when she opened the door, she saw a vast expanse consisting of multitudes of strange floating islands that seem to defy any logic that she was familiar with. It even trumped Pinkie Pie’s antics as even the door itself should also be a major impossibility, but here it is. Assuming that it is some sort of cross dimensional gateway and with her curiosity taking over, Twilight decided to take a risk and go through the doorway. ‘Why does it need to have to be a simple white, square door as an entrance to some alternate dimension?’ Twilight thought as she looked around the strange floating island as it seemed common in the current dimension she walked in. As she looked around she noticed a strange crystal formation. As she went to get a better look, she could help but admire the fact that the crystals looked as though they had an entire galaxy in them. She kept staring until a voice behind her startled the mare and brought her back to reality. “Well, looks like I have an unexpected visitor. And by the looks of it you must be Twilight Sparkle.” Upon hearing her name Twilight spun around to see a strange bipedal creature staring right at her. Upon closer inspection, she noticed that this being seemed to be like her mentor as he seemed to be ageless. After finally being able to find her voice Twilight nervously asked, “H… how do you know my name?” “Ah, I know all creatures that reside in every universe that connects to mine,” the creature responded, “though, that I will explain later. My name is Lord Eternis, welcome to the Eternal Realm. Or if you want to call it, the universe in between universes.” Curiosity peaked Twilight asked, “Why are you named that and what kind of dimension is this?” Lord Eternis laugh and stated, “To answer your first question, I was given that name due to my role in this realm. And as for the second, this is a universe that connects other universes together, so I know of the events that go on in each dimension, or at least the knowledge provided to me by the Chroniclers.” “Who are the Chroniclers? And how would you not know of certain universes when yours clearly connects with them?” Again Lord Eternis laughed, “Ah sorry, what I meant to say is that I don’t tend to divulge on information regarding certain universes and as for the Chroniclers, they are from a universe that my father, which some may call the creator, had made completely off limits to anyone, due to the fact that it would cause mass chaos. As for their purpose, they are beings whom write stories that are based on events that have occurred in different dimensions, as well as events that have occurred in their own past.” “Wait so does that mean that whatever is happening right now is being written down as we speak?” Twilight asked confused. “Yes, in fact the chronicler that is currently writing this all down I have referred to as the Red Rock Chronicler.” Twilight cocked her head, “That’s a weird name. By the way, what sort of creatures are these chroniclers?” “They are what are known as humans, as to the form that you see me as.” “Oooookay. And do these humans have magic?” “At a time yes, but they have lost that ability as time went on. Though they do still have magic, though it only comes out as miracles to those whom either believe or don’t. And the type of magic that they tend to interact with mostly revolves around illusions that can trick your senses, though some of that magic is quite real.” Twilight nodded and looked back at the strange crystals, “What are these? I’ve never seen crystals like these before. Especially ones that appear to have stars in them” Lord Eternis looked at the crystal formation she was talking about and answered, “Those are the trans-dimensional warp crystals that grow naturally on the islands that only exist in my realm, unless they should be displaced by a dimensional flux that teleports them to random part of a random universe, which happens rarely.” “Hmm, interesting, Sooooo what are you? From what I have heard you say, you seem to be something else. Probably something that isn’t entirely like these humans you were talking about. And I guess Lord isn’t exactly just a title is it.” Lord Eternis laughed, “Always wanting to learn huh. Well, as to what I am I am what’s known as a Lord, which indeed is not a mere title. A Lord is an immortal that has tremendous power regarding to what sort of power he possesses. There are also Ladies whom also share similar traits, though some refer to themselves as gods and goddesses. As for what powers I possess, I have the power to govern time and space, though I split that role to those that have a full understanding of those forces and how to maintain them. I mostly maintain the balance within my realm alongside my dragon companion.” Twilight gasped, “You have a dragon. Are there other creatures that live here?” Lord Eternis’ mood changed the moment she asked that question, “Sadly no, there are no other creatures that exist here other than me and my dragon Eternis.” Twilight cocked her head once more, “Why does you dragon have the same name as you?” “Because he is also the guardian of this realm, though, he does take on the appearance of a called Giratina, which is from another universe called the Pokémon universe, or more specifically the Reverse World, which resides alongside that universe.” And then the aforementioned dragon appeared as it heard his master call out his name. “Ah Eternis, so glad you could join us.” Lord Eternis looked back at Twilight who was now cowering in fear of the strange massive dragon that seemed to have come from out of nowhere. “Wha… what is that? Is… is that the dragon you were talking about? Wh… why doesn’t it have any legs or appendages?” “That is because this dimension defies the laws that you along with other creatures associate with, which humans refer to as the laws of physics.” Twilight once again gaped at the information given to her, “Wait, that doesn’t make any sense. How can there be a dimension that defies the laws of gravi… AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!” She screamed as she started to fly high into the air as she made the mistake of jumping and launched herself several feet in the air ‘till the dragon named Eternis caught her and brought her back to the floating island which she was originally standing along with Lord Eternis. “I see that I have made my point about gravity not being entirely the same as in most universes.” Lord Eternis said with an amused smile across his face. Twilight grumbled to herself as she was carefully placed back onto the island, “Fine, fine, but I would like to ask you one more thing.” Lord Eternis cocked his head, “Yes?” “What exactly is the purpose for these crystals? If I remember correctly, you said they are called transdimensional warp crystals. I can only assume that they give the power to cross in between dimension am I correct.” “Yes, indeed you are right,” Lord Eternis said as he walked to the crystal formation, “These crystals have the power to grant a person the ability to create a portal to another dimension. Though, in order for one to go to a specific place, they need to have an understanding of how these crystals work, or else they may find themselves in a very tense situation depending on where they end up. And these crystals, when removed from their formation, tend to be very fragile and upon destruction, they open up a wormhole that will take whoever caught within it to a random location in another universe or in the same universe.” “Wow. Umm, do you mind if I do some research on one of these crystals? I’d really like to learn firsthoof on how they work.” “Alright, I’ll let you take one of the crystals,” Lord Eternis then took a piece off of the formation and applied what Twilight assumed was a spell onto the crystal before handing it over to her, “There, I’ve place an enchantment on it so if anything were to happen to it, it won’t shatter and create a wormhole in your home. I’ve also made it to where it is limited to where you can only go anywhere in your universe and to my realm should you come to ask any more questions.” Twilight nodded and carefully took the shard in her magical grasp and proceeded to leave when Lord Eternis called out. “And don’t bother with taking your friends over. I’m assuming that you’re not the only guest that I’m going to have coming to my realm.” Twilight smiled as she went through the doorway and watched as it closed on its own and disappeared in a flash. “Well, that was interesting.” With that said, she began her trip down into where she keeps all of her science equipment to study the crystal that she had been given. “Now let’s see exactly how you work.” She paused as she realized, “I didn’t really ask him what it is that he does.” > Ch2 AppleJack > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ch 2 AppleJack AppleJack made her way over to the library to visit her friend Twilight. But when she entered into the library, she saw Twilight mulling over some strange crystal that was sitting at her desk. The farm pony was not sure what her friend was doing but was certain that whatever it is, her friend would be obsessing over it day in and day out. “Howdy Twi,” AppleJack said, startling the mare into almost dropping the mysterious crystal onto the ground. “Whaaaaa… oh AppleJack it’s you. You startled me.” “Sorry sugarcube, what is that yer messing with there?” AppleJack asked, curious as to what was so interesting about a simple crystal. But as she took a closer look, she noticed that it was much different than other gems that she was used to seeing. In fact, she never recalled ever seeing a crystal that appeared to have what looked like a large cluster of stars in the form of a galaxy. “Oh, this little thing, well to make a long story short I may have stumbled upon an entrance way to another dimension, and the guardians there aren’t that threatening. Anyway one of them allowed me to study this crystal, he said that it was called a transdimensional warp crystal, or TWC for short. And by the way, the one I talked to is a biped who calls himself Lord Eternis and his companion is some sort of dragon bearing the same name as him, though without the ‘Lord’ part. And the place was amazing, it was a dimension that went on forever and mrfff…” Twilight muffled as she was interrupted by AppleJack placing her hoof to her friend’s mouth so she could think strait and stop the mare from rambling. “Sorry Twi, as interesting as it sounds ah think ya may have lost it there.” Twilight shoved AJ’s hoof away from her face and replied, “Well sorry, but you’ll believe me when you suddenly find a white door standing in the middle of nowhere where it shouldn’t belong. And how do you explain where I got this crystal from. I still haven’t figured out how it works and Spike had suggested me to give it to Pinkie Pie. But I have an odd feeling that it might be a really bad idea. By the way what brings you here? You don’t normally visit me unless it’s important.” AppleJack sighed, “Yes sugarcube, it is important. You’ve been locked up in your home for at least three days and all your friends are worried about you.” “Oh, has it been three days, I’m sooo sorry. I guess this crystal had taken up much of my time and I didn’t realize, despite the fact that it has some unique properties that I have yet to discover. I think I can take a break from studying it for now,” Twilight sighed in defeat, knowing that whatever she said her friends would make sure that she didn’t obsess over something after the ‘Want it, Need it’ incident. “Alright sugarcube, just make sure that ya take some time to rest. We don’t want our friend to collapse on us ‘cause she didn’t get enough sleep. Ah’m gonna head of to the farm and harvest some more of mah apples. Bye Twi.” “Bye AJ, just be on a lookout for any white doors that might appear in odd places.” AppleJack rolled her eyes, “sure thing Twi,” After that she left the library she headed off to Sweet Apple Acres to harvest the apples. Three hours past as AppleJack returns home and gets to applebucking the trees. As she came back to the house she noticed something strange on the side of the family barn. Getting a better look, she finds a door a few feet up on the side of the barn house. “Well ah’ll be, it’s that door Twilight mentioned earlier. Ah guess she wasn’t lying about there being a door being placed at odd places.” To be sure that she wasn’t being tricked, she looked on the inside of the barn where the door should lead out but only found an empty wall. As she went back she took note that the door was still there. “Well, ah guess ah’ll have to give Twilight an apology for not believing her about these weird doors. Wonder if it’s true that it goes to another dimension that Twi had talked about. Only one way to find out,” at that AppleJack began stacking hay to a point to where she could reach the door. After stacking six bales of hay she was able to reach the door, which appeared to be sideways, “Now why in Equestria would somepony put a door here like this. Ah better hope this isn’t Discord’s doing, ah’ve got a right mind to buck him if he were fooling around with Twilight.” She then opened the door and her jaw dropped at what she saw. “Woah, Twilight really wasn’t kidding about some weird dimension that could be accessed by a door like this… hold on.” AppleJack looked carefully at the marking at the top of the doorframe had the door been standing up straight. She took note that the symbol appeared as an hourglass placed over what looked like a spiral galaxy. Cautiously she stepped into the strange unnatural place and took note of the small floating islands that were everywhere she looked and the strange crystals that seemed to be similar to the one at Twilight’s house. “Well, it seems I have yet another visitor. And it would appear that the door was a bit crooked in placement.” Startled, AppleJack spun around to see who had spoken only to see a stange hairless monkey with grey hair on his head and what appeared to be an ageless face. “Hey now, do I look like a primate to you?” The stranger asked. Stunned, AppleJack could only say, “Uuuuuuuuhhhh.” “Sorry, I do believe that you’re one of Twilight’s friends correct. And I believe that your name is AppleJack correct?” “Now how did ya’ll know who I am? Did Twilight tell you about us?” “To answer your second question, no she did not tell me about you. As to how I know, let’s just say that being the Lord of the Eternal Realm as well as being the Lord of Time and Space lets me know everything and anything about individuals from different universes. Though there are some universes that I prefer not to divulge any information to.” “Well, ah guess ah should’ve had Twilight tell me more about this place. Ah’m guessing that yer name is Lord Eternis. Do ya think ya’ll could tell me more of where we are?” “I guess you didn’t let Twilight tell you about this place. Alright then, this is known as the eternal realm, a dimension that extends forever and connects different universes and multiverses together. And these islands are the only things that populate this realm. And I’m guessing that Twilight had already told you about the crystals.” “Yeah, a little. Now what is with these doors? Twilight told me a little about them and ah didn’t believe her until ah saw one of them on the side of my barn facing sideways.” “As you may have guessed, that isn’t an ordinary door. I can’t tell you exactly why the door appeared the way it did, nor can I tell you who it was that placed it there. I can only assume that whatever is going on is that I’m going to have quite a few visitors from your kind over the course of time. And I believe that with your friends I am going to get visits from them in the same order that Twilight had when she first came to Ponyville. And after that, I may have visits from other ponies as well.” “Now how do ya know about that? Oh, wait, if ya’ll are the lord of this place and that this place connects other universes together, does that mean that ya’ll can see events that happen in those universes?” “Yes, that is correct. I am able to see all these events due to the fact that I have the power to control time and space, which are needed in order to keep balance to this dimension.” “Now why do ya need to do that? It’s not like this place is going to come apart if you stay away from it for too long.” “The problem is not with the fact that this place would fall apart with my absence, but is that the universe that I go to will unravel should I stay there too long. The same applies to my companion as well as my personal weapon, which I have allowed Lord Elemental and his host to be able to wield.” “And what exactly is this powerful weapon?” “It is called the ‘Graviton Hammer.’ And as the name suggests, this weapon is able to affect gravity in a way that it can cause massive damage to anything and everything that it is used on, even a planet. However, it can never be wielded by those that do not have the ability to control two different concepts that control everything that exists in these alternate universes.” “And what are these…” she never got to finish as a screeching sound broke out. Both AppleJack and Lord Eternis looked to see the dragon Eternis coming towards them. “Eternis what’s wrong?” Lord Eternis said, wondering what has his dragon so concerned until he heard a choir of voices in the distance. “What’s making that noise?” AppleJack asked nervously. “Oh no, AppleJack, I’m afraid this conversation is over. It seems some seagulls from the Finding Nemo universe have found their way into my realm somehow. You need to leave, unless you want them coming into your universe and giving your people headaches.” Deciding not to ask, AppleJack raced off to the door she had come from while hearing the voices of the birds saying: mine mine mine mine mine. As soon as she jumped out through the doorway, the door slam itself shut and disappeared in a flash, leaving a dazed mare lying on the ground with her head buried in the dirt. “AppleJack, why are ya lying on the ground like that?” AppleJack looked up to see her sister AppleBloom looking at her quizzically. “It’s a long story. C’mon, let’s head back inside and ah’ll tell ya about it later.” And with that AppleJack and AppleBloom went back inside their home as sun began to set. > Ch3 Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Two weeks have passed since Twilight had finally gotten out of her home doing whatever research she was doing. Not only did she find out that her friend Twilight had gone to another dimension a few days prior, Rainbow Dash had found out that Applejack had also made that trip after having convinced Twilight to take it easy. Now Rainbow wants to know exactly how this happened and she knows that she would need to ask Twilight about her Experience. She arrived at the door to the library and knocked. “Coming.” The door opened with Spike answering the door. “Hey Rainbow Dash, what brings you her?” The baby dragon asks. “I want to ask Twilight about that place she went to and how she was able to get there.” They could hear Twilight’s voice coming from downstairs, “Spike, who’s at the door?” Spike went over to the staircase and answered, “It’s Rainbow, and she wants to ask you something.” “Alright, let her come in.” Rainbow entered into the library and proceeded to go downstairs. As soon as she got to the basement, she could see tons of science equipment strewn about and Twilight focused on a strange crystal. “Yo Twilight, mind if I ask you about that place you've gone to.” Twilight stopped what she was doing and looked at her friend and sighed, “Well, I guess I would have no other choice.” After an hour of explaining, Twilight concluded, “And that is pretty much how I got there and how much I have learned about it. I’m still trying to figure out how to make this crystal he gave me work. I’ve only been able to make a small vortex but that’s pretty much it. I think I’ll take some time off so I can think of what I need to do to make it work.” “Sooo, what you’re saying is is that you have only been there for like a few hours, just talking to the guy. Lame.” “Hey, you know how much I like to learn about new things.” “Yeah yeah yeah, could we not get into that discussion please? So, if I’m to be able to go this ‘realm,’ I would need to find a door. That’s a bit lame.” “Well, it won’t be an ordinary door. Applejack had told me that there was a marking at the top of the door frame that had an hourglass over what appeared to be a spiral galaxy.” “Yeah okay look for weird door that has strange marking at the top and would be anywhere where it shouldn’t, got it.” And like that Rainbow flew out of the library in search of the door that should take her to the Eternal Realm. This is going to be soo awesome. Rainbow Dash thought as she flew among a few white clouds. I think I’ll go ahead and clear some of these clouds out while I'm at it. We’re not really scheduled for any more rain ‘till next week. As she got started with clearing the skies, Rainbow continued to think of what she would do if she were able to go into that realm Twilight had told her about. That was when she noticed a door after clearing up one of the clouds. “Ooooookay… not exactly what I had in mind but that’s okay,” Rainbow said to herself. Once she opened the door she was greeted with an unexpected surprise. On the other side she saw several flocks of seagulls flying around in what appeared to be an endless expanse comprised mostly of floating island. That was when she caught sight of a figure who’s been trying to get the birds to fly into a similar doorway that led to another world. “Close that door,” the stranger called out. Rainbow hesitated until she noticed one of the flocks was coming straight towards her. Slamming the door shut, Rainbow pondered on what she had seen and if there was anything she could do to help. She decided to fly over to Fluttershy’s to get some help, unaware that the door was following close behind her despite how fast she was going. She made it to Fluttershy’s cottage and knocked on the door. “Coming,” came the reply. Rainbow was greeted by her fellow pegasus friend, who jumped back in surprise. “Relax Fluttershy, it’s just me,” Rainbow said, trying to calm her frightened friend. “It… it’s not you. I… It’s that thing that came in behind you. I... is that a door?” Turning around, Rainbow jumped as she noticed that the door was indeed behind her. “What the hay. How’d it get behind me? Doors are not supposed to move on their own.” “Wh… why do you think it followed you here?” Rainbow turn to her friend, “I think it followed me since I knew that you might be able to help with a little animal problem.” Fluttershy looked at her friend confused, “What do you mean.” Rainbow Dash answered by opening the door to reveal the same space that she had seen when she first opened it, still filled with seagulls constantly saying ‘Mine mine mine mine.’ “Quick, get in before those feather brains get out,” Rainbow urged Fluttershy. And the two entered into the realm with Rainbow closing the door behind them. “Oh… my,” came Fluttershy’s response to the chaos that was happening before her. “Hello, do you two mind helping me get these seagulls out of my realm and back into their world. I’m afraid they’ve overstayed their welcome for too long since Applejack had visited my realm.” Turning to her friend, Rainbow said, “Well Fluttershy, you’re the one who has a way with animals.” Nodding, Fluttershy goes to try and reason with the seagulls. “Um excuse me, could all of you come here please?” Her plea was not heard as the flocks of birds continued with their chanting and flying around aimlessly. Frustrated, Fluttershy cried out, “Now stop it!” Finally, the seagulls take notice of the yellow pegasus and nested over to the nearest floating island. “Could you be so kind as to leave this place? You’re not supposed to be here and the guardian of this place doesn’t want you to stay here,” Fluttershy said to the seagulls, only to be responded with a chorus of, ‘mine mine mine mine mine mine mine.’ Finally having enough, Fluttershy stared down at the seagulls and said, “Now look here. This kind being just wants you to return you to your home and you are bothering him. Now go over to the door and go back to where you had come from. And I better not catch you coming in here again. Do I make myself clear.” After giving her some nods, the seagulls quickly flew out through the door and back to their universe. “Thank you, and allow me to introduce myself. I am Lord Eternis, lord of the Eternal Realm. And you two must be Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.” Rainbow puffed up her chest and responded, “That’s us.” “So, um, you know who we are?” Fluttershy nervously asked. “Yes, you two are friends of Twilight and Applejack.” Lord Eternis replied. “Yeah. Is it true about this place, that it can let anyone travel to any universe they want?” Rainbow asked with glee in her eyes. “Yes and no, you may not go to the one that has Daring Do.” Disappointed, Rainbow slowly flew towards one of the floating islands to mope while Fluttershy flew toward Lord Eternis. “So you’re the guardian of this realm?” She asked. “Yes, and I’m not alone.” As he said that the dragon, Eternis, appeared from one of the larger floating islands to take a look at the newcomers, startling both Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. “Eeep… what it that?” Fluttershy asked, clearly scared of the strange looking dragon. “Do not be afraid of him,” Lord Eternis said, “His name is Eternis, the Eternal Dragon.” “Why do you two both have the same name?” Rainbow asked. “That I cannot answer,” came the reply, “Though I think the Chronicler should ask his readers what to name my dragon companion.” Confused, Fluttershy asks, “Who is the Chronicler?” After explaining about the universe of the Chroniclers, Lord Eternis said, “And I do not entirely know about this universe other than the fact that it exists and that my father has not allowed even me to come to that universe.” “So basically this is just a universe that talks about events that happen in other universes, like this one, and tell of the people who are in those universes,” Rainbow summed up. And Fluttershy added, “But does this mean that they control what we do? Or do they really just record what happens in our universes without really thinking that they’re real?” “Those are good questions, ones that I cannot answer. It may be true that they are the ones who control what we do, but it could also mean that they are just subconsciously recording the events that are happening in our separate universes.” “All this talk is making my head spin,” Rainbow complained. I suggest that you two may want to leave, as it is getting late in your world. The two pegasi nodded and headed back out the door to their world. Once they have left the realm, the door shut behind them and disappeared. “That was sooooooo boring.” Rainbow Dash said, “I’m going to head home.” With that Rainbow flew off to her home while Fluttershy went back to her cottage. Back at the Eternal Realm Lord Eternis finished cleaning up all the feathers and bird poop that had littered across the islands of his domain. I wonder who is going to visit me next. He thought as he continued on with what he was doing. > Ch4 Rarity > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The six ponies were sitting around at a table at Sugarcube Corner, talking amongst each other about Lord Eternis and his realm while having some sweets. “So you’re telling me that you two went to this dimension that Twilight and AJ both went to? And you didn't bring any of those beautiful crystals with you.” Rarity said while taking a ladylike bite of her cake. “So, it’s not like it’s a once in a lifetime thing. There’s bound to be another door appearing somewhere in Equestria,” Rainbow exclaimed, annoyed by her friend’s constant complaining about not bringing any of the crystals. “So you may know, I would love to make a gorgeous dress using those crystals of his. They are soo exotic, seeing as how the one that Twilight has is unlike anything that we've seen before.” “Well ah’ll reckon that ya’ll be able to go there at some point. Anyway, Twi, how’ve you been doing with that research of yer’s?” Applejack asked. “I still need to do some more tests. But I think I’m getting close to figuring out how to make a more stable portal that a pony can fit through.” Twilight replied, taking another sip of her drink. “Anyway, Fluttershy, darling, what got into you when you went with Rainbow into that place. Surely it must have frightened you greatly.” “Well, umm, it was more to help get the seagulls that were flying around in his home and bothering him. And they didn’t even belong there. I just hope they made it back to their world okay.” Fluttershy said, clearly worried about the birds. “If I remembered correctly from what you, Rainbow, and Applejack told us, these birds were being pests and saying ‘mine’ a lot correct?” Twilight asked. “Yeah,” Rainbow answered, “They were being sooooo annoying. And not only that, but our visit was sooooo boring, nothing but talking.” “Well I for one would not mind a good conversation with somepony, even if it’s not a pony.” Rarity said while finishing her cake. “Well, ah’m going to head back to the farm. Gotta go buck some more apples,” Applejack said as she got up to leave. “I will go back to my boutique to get some more dresses done.” Rarity said while doing the same. And so the six friends left to go to their separate tasks. After returning to her home, Rarity was surprised to see what she found standing in the middle of the shop. Coming in, she saw a simple white door standing in the middle of her boutique. This must be the door that Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow were talking about. Rarity thought as she came closer to the oddity that was in her home. Upon a closer inspection, Rarity could see marking detailing time and space being two interlocking concepts that partly controlled everything in the multiverse. Deciding that this is the opportunity she had been waiting for, she opened the door to see that it opened up on a large, rocky island floating in space while more of various sizes floated around at various distances. What she mostly looked at was what appeared to be a table with the being that she assumed was Lord Eternis sitting at one end of the table. “Ah, you must be Rarity. Would you like to join me for a cup of tea?” Lord Eternis said, beckoning for Rarity to sit at the spot opposite of him. Deciding that it was safe, Rarity walked into the doorway and sat in the chair while Lord Eternis brought out two tea cups and a tea pot. “Now, I assume that you would like to ask me for some of my crystals.” Lord Eternis said while pouring tea into the cups. “Yes actually. Those crystals of yours are so c gorgeous, I’d love to make a dress with them.” Rarity replied, looking at the various crystals growing on the island. Lord Eternis nodded, “Very well. I’ll give you some of these crystals so you may do what you like. I’ll place an enchantment on them so they don’t break and that they don’t end up creating a portal in case if something goes wrong.” With that Lord Eternis brought out a chest with several of the crystals that looked like they had galaxies in them. That was when Rarity saw a purple cloud floating in the seeming clear area. “Umm, darling, what’s that?” Rarity asked while taking a sip of her tea. Looking to where she was pointing, Lord Eternis sighed when he saw the cloud, “That would be something that happens to appear in my realm if there’s a temporal disturbance in a universe. They seldom appear of someone causes damage to the spatial zone or causes a paradox, the size of the cloud depends on the severity of the damage done in that universe. There is one section of my realm that I have not been able to clean up.” “And why is that?” Rarity asked, puzzled that the Lord of the Eternal Realm would have trouble with a simple cloud problem. “Because that section happens to be filled with a massive purple storm,” Lord Eternis replied, “Whenever I try to get close to it or try and disperse it, I would get hit by a dark lightning bolt, which sends me several miles away from the storm.” “What do think could have caused it.” “It would appear that the Discord from another universe, which is tied with the storm, had caused so much damage while I wasn't paying attention that it has gotten so massive. I was able to contain it before it could spread.” “Now why would you allow something like that to happen?” Rarity asked, horrified at what had happened to his realm. “That is what happens when you pay too much attention to something else, that you don’t see the damage that someone else is doing to your home.” Lord Eternis replied. “Well, how’re you going to fix it?” “As it stands, I can’t really do anything. The only ones that can clean up that mess are the ones whose universes are involved. Though I am confident that they will succeed and I will get that Discord a firm talking to once I’m able to clear out the storm.” Looking at the open door that Rarity came through, Lord Eternis could tell that it was getting dark in her world. “I think it would be a good time for you to go.” That was when Rarity noticed that it was getting late as well. “Oh my, I better get going then. And thank you so much for letting me have some of your crystals.” Lord Eternis waved goodbye as the unicorn walk through the doorway and watched as the door closed and disappeared. Now I think I will be seeing Pinkie Pie next. This is going to be interesting. Lord Eternis thought as he began to put away the table, chairs, and tea set.
