A twelve year old boy lies in an abandoned wasteland. His name was Naruto and he had spiky blonde hair and blue eyes and whisker like markings on his face. He was dressed in a suit which was mostly orange: the absolute worst color for a ninja to wear. However he had no choice on the matter as they were the only clothes the shops sold him. He knew it was because they hoped when he became a ninja he would be seen and killed by enemy ninjas.

A few months ago he learnt the reason they hated him. He was the host of the nine tail fox, a demon that nearly destroyed his village many years back. Many people hated him because of it. There were even a few attempts on his life but he never found out about it because the ANBU assigned to protect him begrudgingly saved him.

The few people who did not hate him were all gone or could not save him. The people who worked at the ramen shop were killed in a recent attack on the village. Iruka was killed by a ninja who told him the reason everyone hated him. Try as he might Naruto was unable to get him to a hospital in time and he died by a loss of blood. To make matters worse he was denied the chance to become a ninja despite mastering the shadow clone jutsu. Naruto closed his eyes as he remembered how he came to lie in the waste land alone.

Flashback

Naruto walks down the street his heart still heavy with grief. Even though it was not his fault Iruka died he felt like it was. If only he never believed Mizuki when he said if he stole that scroll he would graduate and become a ninja.

He may have learnt a new jutsu but at what cost? He lost one of the few people who truly cared about him. As he was thinking about this he bumped in to someone on the road and was knocked down. As he got up he saw the person he knocked down. He was a man of average build and height. He had long black hair that reached passed his shoulders. He gave a look at Naruto, one that made it clear he hated him.

As Naruto began to apologize the man interrupted him and said "Shut up you piece of shit."

Naruto could smell alcohol on his breath as he spoke. He gave Naruto a glare and said "I have had enough of you monster."

He took out a kunai as he said "I will end your life now and become a hero."

He charged toward Naruto as he finished. At the last minute Naruto was able to dodge but not before the kunai left a cut on his cheek. Naruto rubbed his cheek and noticed blood flowing.

He heard the drunken shinobi say "Looks like I missed demon I won't miss again." He started running toward Naruto as he finished.

Naruto was having a mental breakdown while the fight was going on. He knew why the ninja hated him but it was not his fault. He never asked to be the host of the nine tailed fox.

As he was thinking about it his body started to change. His eyes turned red, his canines grew longer and he appeared to be surrounded by a red cloak. He gave the man a glare which made him shudder. Before he could say a word Naruto charged toward him. He quickly grabbed the kunai from his hand and used it to stab the shinobi in the neck.

The man fell down and with his dying breath he uttered "Monster." In a few seconds Naruto turned back to normal and passed out

As he woke up he noticed a crowd around him. He saw fear in their eyes as he looked at them. Before he could say a word he was knocked out cold by an ANBU.

When he got up he found himself in a jail cell. As he tried to grab the bars of the cell, he was electrocuted and knocked back.

As he got back up he heard a familiar voice say "I'm sorry it has come to this Naruto." He looked in the direction of the voice and saw the third Hokage.

Seeing him Naruto quickly said "Grandpa Hokage it was not my fault that guy attacked me first."

Giving him a sympathetic look the Kage said "I know it was not your fault and if it was up to me you would be free." He let out a tear and said "But it's no longer in my hands Naruto."

"What do you mean?" The young boy asked in confusion.

Giving out a sigh of depression the Kage continued "I mean most of the village elders said you have to die for the crime you committed." He clenched his fist tight as he said this. It was not even Naruto's fault but he knew the other Village elders wanted to kill Naruto at the slightest chance.

Falling back down Naruto said "So that's it then I'm going to die."

Sarutobi comforted the boy by saying "No you're not. I may have been out voted but I'm still the Hokage I was able to pull some strings and I was able to get them to let you off in a gentler manner. You will be released in two hours and will have to run away from the village.

" His tone then became more serious "However 24 hours after you are released the some ninjas will hunt you down."

Naruto then said in an angry tone "Wait are you telling me I only have a day to live?"

Sarutobi let out a tear as he said "I'm sorry Naruto it was all I could do"

Naruto then broke down in tears and slammed his fists on the ground. He then said to the Kage "Why is it they hate me? I never asked to be the stupid fox's host did I?"

Sarutobi then said with a sad tone in his voice "I'm sorry Naruto, is there anything I can do?"

Naruto cried as he said "Can you sit with me until I have to leave?"

Sarutobi didn't say a word. He got up and broke the electrical jutsu on the cage. He then proceeded to open the cage. He then sat next to Naruto and gestured Naruto to hold out his hand.

As Sarutobi held the boy's hand he then said in his mind "I'm sorry Minato and Kushina."

End of flashback

Naruto opened his eyes and wiped a few tears off them. He got up and checked the watch the Hokage had given him. He had a few more hours before he would be hunted down like an animal. As he got up to begin running again he was stopped dead in his tracks by a kunai.

As he looked around he saw a tall ninja with a mask appear in front of him. He turned to Naruto and said "Well you demon brat it's time for you to die." When he finished he pulled out a sword.

Naruto quickly asked him "Why are you here grandpa Hokage said I have 1 day to runaway I still have a few hours left."

The ninja laughed as he said "What the Hokage doesn't know won't hurt him. Now it is time for me to avenge my parents who died fighting the demon fox. Prepare to die you brat."

As the ANBU charged toward Naruto he was stopped dead in his tracks and got tossed back. As he looked up and saw what tossed him he saw a humanoid horse creature with a black body and black hair. He had a red horn coming from his forehead but that was not scared the ANBU. His eyes were terrifying to the ANBU. His scleras were green and the pupils were red.

The ANBU got up and said to the figure "Who are you?"

The figure said in a nonchalant voice "My name is king Sombra."

The ANBU then said in an annoyed voice "Well Sombra kindly leave me to continue my orders."

King Sombra laughed and said "A big bad ANBU hunting an innocent child and I thought I was evil."

The ANBU then said in an annoyed tone "Either you let me kill him or you both die."

Sombra said in a nonchalant voice "You kill me. That's a laugh."

The ANBU tightly held his sword and charged toward Sombra. Sombra simply grabbed his hand and took the sword out of the ANBU's hand. Before the ANBU could react Sombra trust his sword into the Ninja's skull and moved the sword downward to make sure he was dead.

Sombra then approached Naruto and said "Boy, are you alright?"

Naruto replied in a confused voice "Yes I am but why did you save me?"

Sombra gave a laugh and said "I have my reasons. Now tell me your name."

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki."

Sombra gave him a look and said "Alright Naruto come with me. More ANBU will come soon so let's go now."

Naruto decided to listen to the man and follow him; after all he saved his life. "Alright mister."

As Naruto began to follow him Sombra said to himself "With the nine tailed jinchuuriki I will destroy Equestria and no one will be able to stop me."

Naruto had been following Sombra for at least a few hours now but had not learned of where they were going or any details about him. Finally after hours of walking they arrived a huge castle with black walls.

Naruto stared at the castle and then said to Sombra "Wow this is your home it's awesome."

Sombra chuckled and said "Just wait till you see the inside."

In the castle

Naruto could hardly believe his eyes. The castle was so extravagant. Naruto would have guessed it was bigger than his entire village and he was not that far from the truth.

Noticing the boy looking amazed Sombra said "Enjoy this place you live here now."

Naruto was taken by surprise by this but realized Sombra must have meant like a servant.

Sombra quickly said "Wait here I want you to meet someone."

Sombra left in a flash and soon came back with a creature that resembled him. The main differences were the red hair and the black horn. Apart from that he resembled Sombra in terms of eye color and body color and shape.

Sombra cleared his throat and said "Naruto meet my son Aku Obsidian."

The boy held out a hand and said "Nice to meet you Uzumaki-san."

Naruto shook his hand and said "You too Aku Obsidian."

Sombra gave out a chuckle and said "You can address each other a little less formally you are going to be brothers after all."

Both boys stared at Sombra as if he was insane.

Aku Obsidian broke the silence by saying "Father what do, you mean we will become brothers soon?"

Sombra gave a slight laugh and said "I plan to adopt him that is if he agrees to it."

Naruto started to speak but found himself unable to form words.

Noticing this Sombra said "Don't worry I don't expect an answer right now I'll give you time." As he finished he disappeared.

Sombra's POV

I left the two boys to get to know each other better, the closer they get the easier my plan will be. I noticed one of my councilors running toward me.

He bowed and then said "Lord Sombra do you really plan to adopt that brat what use is he to you."

I gave him a glare and said "Know your place worm. He is the host of Kurama the nine tailed fox he is of grave importance."

I could see the maggot turn pale at that.

He then said in disbelief "He is that monster's host? Why would anybody get rid of him he could be a weapon of pure destruction?"

I laughed and said "Their mistake is my gain. However I feel he still has a level of loyalty to that place I will need to remove that emotion soon."

The worm then bowed and said "My liege if I may ask how do, you plan to control the fox the boy is surely not strong enough to control it."

I answered him with an annoyed tone "We give him project S. That will aid him to control the demon."

The pony gulped and said "Project S are you sure sir?"

I gave the worm a paralyzing glare and said "Do not annoy me now just ready the project for transfer."

At that the idiot ran falling down along the way.

Normal POV

After a few hours of waiting Sombra came back and, was greeted by his son who said in a calm voice "Dad why did you do that. You said you were going to adopt him and left us in total awkwardness."

Sombra ignored the boy and said to Naruto "Have you made your choice yet?"

Naruto jumped up and said "I did I agree. I want you to adopt me."

Sombra gave a smile and said "Thank you Naruto. I need to talk to you alone for a minute. Aku get out of here for a minute."

Aku Obsidian left the room but flipped the bird swiftly to his father before he left. Sombra turned to Naruto and said "Son we need to talk about your tenant."

At a huge hall in the castle

In a few hours Sombra had told Naruto everything about the fox even its name.

After Sombra finished Naruto said "So if I can control the fox I can become stronger does that mean they will accept me in the village again?"

Sombra shook his head and said "Naruto you cannot return to that village they all hate you even the hokage."

Naruto stared at Sombra and said "But before I Left grandpa said…"

Sombra interrupted and said "He didn't tell you everything he never told you what happened to your parents."

Naruto stared at Sombra for a bit and said "You knew my parents?"

Sombra nodded and said "I did they knew them well. Your father was the 4th hokage and one of the strongest shinobi I knew."

Naruto was rendered speechless by that but he managed to stutter out "My…my father was the … it doesn't make sense if it's true why did the old man never tell me?"

Sombra then said in a rough voice "One of his children died in the fight with the fox my spies told me so. He knew if anyone found out that you were the fourth's son they would treat you like royalty and he felt you needed to be punished."

Naruto almost fell to his knees as heard that. He then said "But why would he act so nice if he hated me."

Sombra replied in a grim voice "He had some respect for your parents and only acted nice for their sake."

Naruto tried to disprove Sombra's theory "How could someone like me be the son of a hokage how do I know what you say is the truth."

Sombra then said in a comforting voice "I have no reason to lie to you."

Naruto was about to say something else but Sombra said "You are tired now I will get someone to escort you to your room and we can talk later."

Naruto wanted to say something but decided not to annoy Sombra so he said "Yes sir."

Sombra laughed and said "Naruto please call me dad."

"Alright I will. Good night dad."

"Good night Naruto."

Later

Sombra walked to another room in the castle and looked over the operating table. On the table was the dead body of a man with long thin, spiky, white hair and a wrinkled complexion.

Sombra looked to a doctor and said "Is the body ready for the transplant."

The doctor replied in a shaky voice "Yes sir as soon as you allow we can transplant the eyes to Naruto."

"Excellent." Sombra said while smiling "Oh Madara soon your eyes will help me take over the world something you could never do."

7 years later

Naruto stands on top of a cliff face looking at the ocean. Tomorrow was his birthday and while most people would be excited he couldn't care less. As he was looking out at the ocean he jumped up missing a punch meant for him.

He turned to his attacker and said, "Aku what is your problem?"

Aku Obsidian gave a laugh and said "Come on brother lighten up isn't tomorrow your B-day?"

Naruto gave him a growl and said "So what it's just another day."

Aku scratched his head and said "Come on don't be like that we all got some good presents for you."

Naruto shrugged and said "Yeah so what?"

Aku yawned and said "I guess your right nothing compares to the gift dad got you 7 years ago."

Naruto closed his eyes as he thought back to that day.

7 years ago

Naruto stared at Sombra with shock in his eyes for over 10 minutes.

He managed to finally stutter out "You want to teach me to do what?"

Sombra looked at Naruto and said "Naruto I know you must hate the fox after all he did to you. However you must understand that if you learn how to control him your power can increase greatly."

Naruto was conflicted inside. On one hand he didn't want to control the demon that made him hated among the village. But on the other hand his father really wanted Naruto to become stronger. He had saved Naruto's life and even gave him what he always wanted: a family.

Naruto then took a gulp and said "Alright I will do it."

Sombra gave a brief smile and said "Thank you Naruto."

One week later

Naruto woke up to the sound of a horn blowing. Having been living with Sombra for the last two weeks he had gotten used to the morning wake up call. As he gathered the strength to get out of bed he couldn't help but wonder whether he forgot something. Shrugging it off, he got up and went to get breakfast.

As he began walking to the kitchen he heard footsteps ruing toward him. He turned around and saw Aku running toward him ready to attack. He jumped out of the way at the last moment leaving Aku to crash into a wall.

Aku Obsidian rubbed his head and complained a bit which made Naruto give a sigh of annoyance. He was amazed at how he misjudged him. When he first met him he thought he was calm and collected. How wrong he was. But the thing that amazed him the most was how quickly he accepted him as a brother. Aku Obsidian was a complete mystery to him.

Aku got up and said in a cheery tone "Happy birthday brother."

Naruto gave him a confused look and said "What do you mean?"

Aku face palmed himself and said "Oh god, don't tell me you forgot your own birthday."

Naruto realized what he had forgotten but was not surprised. The villagers treated him much worse on his birthday. Probably because it was the day the village was attacked. So today was not an exciting day for him.

Naruto finally answered back to Aku "How did you know it was my birthday?"

Aku scratched his head and said "Father told me about it ask him that."

Before Naruto could move a voice from behind said "I was able to figure it out because today was the day Konoha was attacked by the fox many years ago and you would have just have been just born for the sealing to work."

Naruto turned around and saw Sombra casually walking toward them.

Before he could respond Sombra said "Happy birthday son."

Later

Naruto had just finished his breakfast which Sombra had specially made for him- ramen. He was about to leave the table when Sombra said "Naruto can you wait for minute I need to ask you something?"

Naruto stopped dead in his tracks and said "Sure father." The sound of what he just said made Naruto wince. He was still not used to calling Sombra that.

Sombra gave a look to Aku Obsidian which signaled him to leave. He then turned to Naruto and said "Naruto do you remember what I asked you last week?"

Naruto hesitated a bit and said "Yes you asked whether you can teach me to control the nine tailed fox and I agreed."

Sombra smiled and said "Yes and I have something that can help you control the fox." He got up and said "Follow me."

Naruto began to follow Sombra and after walking for a few seconds Sombra said "Naruto have you heard of the Uchiha clan."

Naruto gritted his teeth as he remembered that arrogant Sasuke Uchiha. He then said "Yes I had one in my class why?"

Sombra's tone then turned serious as he said "They have a special bloodline trait called the Sharingan."

"Sharingan what's that?" Naruto said to himself.

Almost as if he had read the child's mind Sombra said "The Sharingan allows you to see chakra flow and can help you see if a person is under the effects of a genjutsu, another effect is that if mastered you can predict your enemies moves and counter attack in a moment's notice."

Naruto gulped at hearing that. Now he knew why Sasuke was so arrogant all the time. If he had access to a power like that he might have been arrogant as well. He managed to finally stutter out "That's amazing."

Sombra laughed a bit and said "That's not even scraping the surface of it."

Naruto finally managed to ask him "But why are you telling this to me?"

Sombra stared at Naruto and said "I want to give you the Sharingan."

Naruto could only stare at Sombra with shock "I'm sorry what did you mean by that."

Sombra answered back with a stern voice "I plan to give you the Sharingan so you can master it. When you do it will be child's play to control the fox."

Naruto was wondering whether Sombra was playing a joke on him but when he looked into his eyes he could tell Sombra was serious.

Sombra then said "Do you want the Sharingan choose now."

Naruto took a gulp and said "I choose to….."

End flash back

Naruto opened his eyes and instead of the usual blue color it was red and the iris was surrounded by three Tomoe.

Aku walked over to Naruto and said "But something tells me you will really enjoy this gift even more."

Naruto looked his brother in the eyes which caused him to fall down. Aku got up and said "You know how much I hate it when you do that. Turn it off."

Naruto let out a small laugh and closed his eyes and turned them back to normal. He turned to Aku and said "Now why did you come here other than to annoy me?"

Aku Obsidian scratched his head and said "Father wanted you and I to come for what he said was a really important meeting."

Naruto raised an eye brow and asked "When did he tell you that."

Aku yawned and said "About 3 hours ago why? Oh I get it now."

Naruto slapped his head and said "You idiot now he is going to be really pissed off at us now."

Aku Obsidian jumped up and said "Well we're fucked brother."

Sombra's POV

I looked at the clock on the wall and grew angrier with each passing moment. It had been 2 hours since I sent Aku to find Naruto and they had still not come back. The two of them were unbelievable warriors but they never had good time.

As I was about to send someone else to find them I heard a loud noise along with two people bickering over something. I knew from the voices it was Naruto and Aku arguing over what the excuse was for being late.

The two of them then burst through the doors, removing them from the hinges. I put my head down and then I looked them in the eyes and shouted "Why are you so late?"

Aku said in a nonchalant voice "We got lost."

I could see Naruto glare at his brother and I figured out Aku must have said something they didn't agree on.

I was not in a mood to shout at them so I said "Whatever the reason I have an important task to ask of the two of you."

I saw Naruto step up and he said "Yes father what can we do for you?"

I looked at him and said "As you know many years ago those two alicorns Celestia and Luna banished me from my kingdom. Now before I left I cast a spell and made the kingdom disappear as a way to come back."

I could see the boredom in their eyes as they heard the story. I could not blame them I told them the story many times.

I quickly added to that "The spell I cast on the kingdom is wearing off and soon the kingdom will reappear."

I could see their eyes widen at that. Aku then said "Wait that means…"

I interrupted him and said "Soon I will be able to attack and reclaim the crystal empire."

Naruto jumped up and said "Finally we can get revenge for what they did to you."

I stopped him said "No I have a special mission for you and Aku to do."

I could see the disappointment on their faces. Aku then said "What do you want us to do then?"

I smiled as I was about to tell them something that would make them so much happier than attacking the crystal empire.

Meanwhile

A white alicorn with a pink, blue and green mane was looking at the sky. One look in her eyes and you could tell she was fearful of something.

As she was lost in her thoughts a blue alicorn with a purple mane tapped her shoulder and said "Sister what is bothering you?"

She turned to her sister and said "Luna I fear now that the crystal empire is reappearing King Sombra will return to attack it again."

Luna stepped back and said "Celestia I think you are right. I sensed him and he is even stronger than before."

Celestia Looked down and said "We were barely able to beat him last time and I supposed you noticed the other two."

Luna nodded and said "Yes it appears he is not alone. Those two are even more powerful than he is."

Celestia nodded and said "I hope we can defeat them when the time comes."

The next day

Princess Luna had a concerned look on her face as she said "Are you sure you don't want me to go as well?"

Celestia shook her head and said "Yes. Princess Cadance and Shining Armor are already there. The others will be joining them soon."

Luna looked her sister in the eye and said "The Empire's magic is powerful. It cannot fall again, my sister."

Celestia replied calmly "She will succeed at her task. And when she does, we'll know that she is that much closer to being ready."

Before Luna could reply a purple unicorn with a black mane with a pink and purple streak going through it entered the room.

Noticing this Celestia turned to her sister and said "Trust me, little sister." Luna left the room at that leaving the other two to talk.

Later

Twilight was busy thinking over what Celestia had told her not only was an evil unicorn known as king Sombra back but two unknown powers were with him. From what Celestia had told her she began to wonder if they could beat these three ponies.

As she was thinking she was approached by her friends.

A blue Pegasus with a rainbow mane named Rainbow Dash approached her and said "Hey Twilight why do you looks so worried?"

Another unicorn with a white body and a purple mane named Rarity said "Yes dear what has got you so worried?"

Twilight decided to tell her friends the entire story. She took a deep breath and said "Well you see…."

Later

Twilight had just finished her story and to say her friends were shocked was an understatement. A yellow Pegasus with a pink mane known as Fluttershy nearly fainted at hearing about Sombra. A pink earth pony with a pink mane named Pinkie was unfazed by this she was even jumping around a bit.

An orange earth pony with a blonde mane known as Applejack Came forward and said "Now are you sure about this Twilight?"

Twilight shook her head and said "Yes Applejack Princess Celestia also told me there were two more ponies with him and they might be even more powerful than he is."

The others gasped at that, even Pinkie stopped jumping when she heard that.

Twilight then continued "We have to be really careful girls the fate of not just the crystal empire but maybe even all of Equestria might be on our shoulders."

Rainbow Dash gave Twilight a sarcastic look and said "So no pressure then?"

Twilight gave her a look which shut her up and then said "Girls we need to get ready for a trip so start packing,"

At that Applejack turned to Rarity and said "Just don't pack so many scarves this time Rarity."

Meanwhile

Naruto and Aku were getting ready for their big journey. While they were upset at not fighting with Sombra they were more than happy with their mission.

Aku Obsidian turned to Naruto and said "Brother how do you feel now that it's finally here?"

Naruto smiled and said "I am excited I can make those bastards pay now."

Aku laughed and said "They will be like flies compared to us brother."

Naruto gave a grin and said "I know it's too bad. It's no fun when they can't put much of a fight."

At that the two brothers picked up their weapons and disappeared in a flash of light.

After a few days of travel Naruto and Aku arrived at a certain village dressed in long trench coats and masks on their faces.

Aku turned to his brother and said "So you ready to get revenge brother."

Naruto turned to Aku and said "Yes now I can finally make those bastards pay for what they did."

With that the two of them were turned into puffs of black smoke and moved toward the village detected by the eyes of only one ninja.

When they rematerialized inside the village Naruto looked at the hokage monument and scoffed as he said "It appears that there is now a fifth hokage. So that old bastard finally died too bad I wanted the pleasure of killing him."

As soon as Naruto said that Aku turned around and said "Why don't you come out there is no use in hiding."

As he said this a jonin appeared. He was relatively tall with white hair and a mask covering most of his lower face and his head band covering his left eye.

He looked at the two of them and said "I'm guessing you have come to attack the village based on what you said you must have an army ready to attack."

Aku laughed and said "No an army would be a waste of effort the two of us are more than enough to take this pathetic village down."

Kakashi gave them a glare and wondered how strong they really were. From what he could tell they didn't seem like threats.

Aku gave a laugh and said "Alright brother shall we decide who fights him the old fashion way?"

Naruto quickly replied "Fine by me."

Kakashi saw them get into fighting stances with their right arms behind them. He wondered what they were planning. They then moved their hands to the front. Aku's hand was opened while Naruto's was a fist.

Aku laughed and said "Paper beats rock I win."

Kakashi nearly fell down when he saw what they were doing. He was now sure they were not even a minor threat to the village.

Naruto growled and said "Whatever just kill him and make it good."

Aku replied hastily "I always do brother."

Aku got in a fighting stance and said "Prepare to die ninja."

Aku then charged at Kakashi with a speed so great even Kakashi was overwhelmed. Aku then hit Kakashi so hard he went flying a few feet before regaining his balance.

Aku laughed and said "Be glad I held back otherwise you would have a hole in your chest right now."

Kakashi looked at him and said "I guess I better get serious then."

He then removed his head band and opened his left eye to reveal his Sharingan.

Aku gave a laugh and said "So he has the Sharingan this might be fun. It's a good thing I know how to deal with it."

Kakashi was taken aback by that last statement. How could he have a counter to the Sharingan? The only ones alive that have it are him, Sasuke and Itachi.

Kakashi was about to respond but was cut off by Aku who said "I have enough experience with your Sharingan to deal with his."

Kakashi was unable to speak when he heard that he looked at Naruto and said "You have the Sharingan."

Naruto laughed and said "Given you will die soon I might as well show you them."

He took off his mask and activated his Sharingan. He Kakashi saw his face he nearly had a heart attack.

Naruto laughed and said "I am the jinchuuriki of the nine tailed fox; Naruto Uzumaki is the name you know me by although I gave up the last name long ago."

Kakashi couldn't believe what he saw, the son of his former sensei, the same child who would publicly shout his intentions to become hokage, was now trying to destroy the village. He remembered back to when he was banished from the village and how angry he had been when he heard what happened.

Aku noticed this and said "Well brother I take it he knows who you are based by the look he is giving us."

Kakashi got back into a battle pose and knew he had to end the fight before it got out of hand. He looked at them and said "I'm going to give you one last warning leave now or be killed by me."

Aku laughed and said "Look how funny he is. He thinks he is on our level of power."

Naruto gave a demented smile and said "Well then you better show him how insignificant he really is."

Aku cracked his knuckles and replied "Oh I was planning to." He then looked at Kakashi and said "I'll let you make the first move."

Kakashi charged forward and gave Aku a punch in the face. However to his surprise he was not even fazed by it.

He replied nonchalantly "Was that really the best you could do? This fight is going to be really disappointing then."

Aku then tossed him up into the air and punched him in the chest. Kakashi coughed and his mask turned red as a result of the blood that came out. Aku then threw him back and he was barely able to regain his footing.

Aku laughed loud enough to alert the entire village to their presence he then shouted "Is that all you got ninja? One punch and your almost dead you know what I'll even let you have one more hit. Come on hit me right in the gut."

Kakashi knew he had only one chance to end the battle. He started to gather a large amount of charka in his hand.

Naruto noticed this and said to Aku "Looks like he is getting serious brother."

Kakashi then formed a blue ball of energy with lighting sparks coming out of it. He then looked Aku dead in the eye and charged at him. Aku made no attempt to dodge he was ready to take the full blunt of the attack.

The attack made contact with Aku and to the surprise of him and Naruto the attack hurt him. He quickly moved away from the attack and kicked Kakashi in the head.

He growled at him and said "You bastard that actually hurt me."

Kakashi was dumbfounded at what happened. With all the power he put in his lightning cutter Aku should have been killed.

He managed to say "How did you survive that…"

Naruto cut him off and said "It would take at least 10 of those to kill him in his base form. I have to give you credit that attack was more powerful than I thought you actually gave Aku some injuries however…"

Aku roared and said "It won't help you now ninja! I'm going to kill you." He gave a demonic laugh and said "And I'm even ignoring my seven hour plan to torture you before I do it."

Naruto face palmed himself, as he heard Aku say that. He knew Aku would go crazy when they started to fight the leaf ninjas but he never thought it would be this soon.

Aku ran forward and grabbed Kakashi by the neck he then proceeded to take a kunai from Kakashi's pocket.

He laughed and said "That eye of yours might be problematic for us. Why don't you let me get rid of it?"

Before Kakashi could react Aku jabbed the kunai into his left eye causing him to scream out in pain. Aku gave out a sadistic smile and he held the kunai to Kakashi's neck.

He laughed and said "I'm going to kill you with your own weapon."

His maniacal laughter echoed throughout the village. Naruto hit his head and said "You idiot you just alerted the entire village to our presence."

Aku tilted his head and said "So what I want to kill more people." He then thrust the kunai into Kakashi's skull and killed him. He then threw his lifeless body into the ground and said "Well that was fun now what?"

Naruto gave an annoyed tone as he said "Now we have to kill all the other ninjas at once because your fun might have alerted the entire village."

Aku cracked his knuckles as he said "Let's hope they are a better challenge than he was."

As he finished three more shinobi arrived. One was a girl with bright pink hair and green eyes. She was wearing a red top with shorts and black gloves. Another one was a boy with black chin length hair and black eyes. He was wearing a black shirt with long black pants. The last one was very, paled skinned boy. He had short black hair and black eyes. He wore a short black jacket and long black pants.

Naruto looked at the first two and laughed "Well if it isn't my old classmates Sakura and Sasuke. How have you idiots been and who is the other guy?"

Sasuke took a step forward and gave Naruto a glare "Well if it isn't the class clow…" He stopped dead in his tacks when he saw the dead body if his sensei on the ground.

Sakura began to grow angry when she saw the body "What did you do to him?"

Aku laughed and said "Sorry he was not much of a challenge so I killed him. Was he close to you?"

Naruto quickly replied "I guess he was based on how angry they look. Oh I have dibs on the Uchiha I want to kill him myself you can take the other two."

Sasuke looked at the other two and said "Sakura, Sai you two take on that freak with the glowing green eyes I'll take on Naruto."

Sasuke charged toward Naruto and tried to hit him but to his surprise Naruto grabbed his hand and threw him forward. Sasuke quickly regained his balance but was kneed in the face by Naruto. Sasuke ignored the pain and made some hand signs.

As soon as Naruto landed on the ground Sasuke released a stream of fire from his mouth directed right at Naruto. When he was done he thought the fight was finished but to his shock where Naruto once stood was a black dome. The dome faded away and Naruto stood unharmed.

He laughed and said "I used to be so jealous of you; I wanted to be just like you. But now I see you are nothing more than a weakling who isn't worth my time."

Sasuke gritted his teeth and shouted out to Naruto "Don't you mock me you brat." He then activated his Sharingan and looked at Naruto "Let me show you a real Sharingan."

Naruto laughed at him and said "That's a real Sharingan don't make me laugh. This is a real Sharingan." Naruto activated his own Sharingan which nearly caused Sasuke to have a heart attack.

Sasuke then yelled out to him "How did you get that."

Naruto quickly replied "None of your concern. But its more special than your one I can tell you that."

Sasuke glared at him and took out his sword. He then slashed his sword at Naruto but he easily dodged it. He then created a shadow clone and kicked Sasuke in the face and grabbed his sword.

He looked at the sword and said "Nice sword I'll think I'll keep it for myself."

Sasuke could only stare at what he saw the class clown; the weakest in the academy was beating him with no effort. What had happened to him? He looked at his team mates and they were doing no better than he was.

Sakura tried to punch Aku in the face however he caught her fist and kicked her in the head which sent her flying. Sai was about to draw something to combat Aku but he was knocked down by a flying Sakura.

They could hear Aku laugh as he said "Really that was your attack you tried to punch me while your friends paints? You ninja are pathetic we really overestimated you."

Sai quickly got up and began to paint something on the scroll. Aku was about to mock Sai again when he saw something unusual the picture Sai drew on the scroll seemed to come alive. The picture jumped out of the scroll.

Aku glared at it, it appeared to be some sort of a lion. He didn't have a chance to react before the lion charged toward him and bit his arm. Aku ignored the pain caused by it and smashed it's head on the ground which caused it to dispel.

Aku was about to say something when he saw around twenty more of those creatures charging toward him. He gave out a faint smile. This could be mildly amusing for him. He took out a sword from the scabbard on his back and began to destroy the ink lions.

Aku turned to his brother and said "Well Naruto I have a feeling this is going to be interesting."

Before Naruto could respond he blocked a shuriken aimed at his head. He looked around and saw more ninja arriving to the battle scene. At least forty of them in total each a chunin or higher.

Sasuke gave a smirk as he said "What do you think about our reinforcements Naruto."

Aku answer Sasuke with a grin "It's a little unfair."

Sasuke laughed and said "I guess you should have planned your attack better…"

Aku cut him off and said "For you I mean."

Naruto gave out a grin and said "Let's show them a bit of our true power shall we?"

Aku replied with a hint of excitement in his voice "It might be a little overkill but fine."

Before anyone could respond Naruto and Aku released a huge amount of energy which knocked back the other ninjas.

Naruto laughed and said "Be grateful very few people get to see our second forms."

With Sombra

Sombra had never been more embarrassed in his life. After all those years of plotting his revenge he was unable to achieve it and was all because of a baby dragon and an alicorn. He made sure Naruto and Aku were not involved in the attack because they were too reckless. But now he was wondering whether he made a mistake.

As he got up he saw 7 ponies, that princess and the dragon. He gave them a glare he was too weak to even move but his pride gave him the will to stand. If he was going to die he planned on taking them all with him.

A white male unicorn with a blue mane stepped up and said "Sombra we knew you were still alive and as much as we dislike doing this we are going to give you a choice. Either you can have a swift death or…"

Cadance took a step forward and continued "Or you can come with us so princess Celestia can help reform you. It's not too late to change king Sombra there is hope for every one even you."

Sombra gave her a glare and his eyes gave the wavy shadow effect associated with dark magic. He coughed up blood as he said "You fools think you can beat me I will kill every one of you."

He then grabbed Cadance by the neck and began to choke her. However he was hit by a beam of energy by Shining Armor. As he was getting up he noticed the other 6 ponies had glowing pieces of jewelry on them.

He realized they were they were the same elements of harmony that banished him to the elemental nations all those years back.

He growled at them and yelled "I will not be defeated again."

He they gathered all of his energy and shot beam of dark magic at the 6 ponies. The mane six retaliated and fired a rainbow beam of energy that collided with Sombra's attack. Their beam easily over powered his and hit Sombra.

Before he died he shouted "I will be avenged and the crystal empire will be taken over once more."

Naruto and Aku began to walk slowly back home. They expected the village to put up more of a fight but they where pathetic hell they even decided to let them live mostly out of pity for them. At this point Naruto was happy at what happened he could finally let them see how things felt form his point of view.

When he looked at their eyes he knew they could see pure hatred for what they did, they now knew what it felt like to be powerless. How that someone was going to kill them and there was nothing they could do about it.

He even made it a point to say he was going to be back again just so they could live in fear of him. Knowing at any moment they could die. What made it all the better was what he said when he left.

Flash back

Naruto looked at the eyes of the leaf shinobi and could see they were all cowering from him. From their eyes he could tell they thought he was an even bigger monster than Kurama was.

He smirked and said "You may all think I'm some huge evil monster right now, but remember this, this is your fault. You helped to turn me into the way I am now so your fate is your own fault."

End Flash back

Aku yawned and said "So brother well we attacked a village and scared them for life. I say that was a productive day in the least. So now what do we do go home and tell dad we decided to let them live."

Naruto scratched his head and said "Yeah in hindsight it may have been a bad idea man dad will kill us when we get back."

Later

The two brothers burst in from the door and walked in casually. They had decided on what they were going to say to their father.

Naruto said one thing before they walked in the meeting room. "Remember Aku I'm the one who is lying to father because you really suck at it."

Aku groaned and said "Yeah whatever just don't screw it up bro and get us yelled at I just want to go to my room and relax."

Naruto rolled his eyes and walked in the room only to find it was empty. The two of them looked a bit shocked; they expected their father to have taken over the crystal empire by now and he was ready to take them there.

Aku looked around and shouted "Hey dad where are you we're back."

Naruto was wondering the exact same thing it was not like his father to take so long to finish something like this. Before he could say something a voice said "I'm sorry you might have not heard what happened to him."

The two of them turned around and saw a pale grey unicorn with black hair walk out. His hair was wild and spiky and his tail was long and looked like it could be used as a weapon based on the sharp edges it made.

Aku growled and shouted "Who the hell are you and what do you mean 'what happed to him'?"

He grinned and said sarcastically "Oh where are my manners? My name is not really important but you can just call me Blade. Oh and I'm afraid your dear father has passed away."

Aku and Naruto nearly fell down with shock when they heard that. Their father was dead. They were unable to tell if the man was lying or whether it was true.

Naruto Shouted at him and said "Stop lying to us you bastard how could our father be dead."

Blade laughed and said "Oh it's a good story and trust me he went out big. He was killed by the elements of harmony themselves."

Naruto and Aku nearly jumped out of their skins when they heard that. Aku then said "He used to tell us stories about them but I never thought they were real."

Naruto then added "Neither did I." He then glared at Blade and shouted "But even if that was true father said the elements where negated when that one bitch was sent to the moon and the usual effect of the gems were non fatal like banishment or imprisonment."

Blade answered feigning sympathy "Alas it seems your father was mistaken he may have got the bad end of the gamble. I cannot sense him anywhere so he must be dead for I can sense energy and someone as powerful as Sombra cannot hide his power due to his own arrogance."

Aku yelled out to him ready to attack at a moment notice "What does that mean you ass."

Blade smiled as he said "What I mean is your father was badly injured by the attack and because he was so weak the elements proved too much for him and well he was killed."

Naruto Let out a few tears as he heard that the very man who raised him, gave him the one thing he wanted most in the world; a loving family was now gone forever.

Aku noticed it and said "Brother don't cry father would not want us to shed tears no matter what happens."

Despite what he said Naruto noticed Aku was struggling and failing to hold back tears. Naruto was not just sad he was enraged at what happened. This was worse than the leaf village worse than anything that had ever happened to him.

He was about to say something but Aku beat him too it. He shouted out to blade "Tell us who wielded the fucking elements so we can destroy them Blade."

Blade smiled as he heard that. Everything was going according his plan.

At Canterlot

Twilight was gloomily walking through the halls of the castle. Sure she had saved the lives of many innocent ponies by doing what she and the others did but she also took the life of another. Even though he was evil she didn't want to kill him. Maybe turn him to stone or even banish him to the moon like Luna was.

As she stepped into the throne room she saw the rest of her friends waiting for her. She then said "Oh you were all called by the princess too."

Applejack answered her slightly bored "Yeah she said it was something really important."

At that a serene voice said "And it is Applejack." They looked and saw princess Celestia walk in and they all bowed down.

Celestia smiled and said "Arise my subjects. Now you might be wondering about why I called you here and the answer is simple training"

Rainbow Dash quickly said "Um princess if you don't mind me asking what kind of training are we going to do."

Celestia cleared her throat and said "You see the elements can be used as weapons or more specifically swords. However you will need training to use them to their full power."

Twilight looked at the princess and said "Princess Celestia with all due respect why would we need to do that."

Celestia's smile turned to a frown as she said "You see while you may have defeated Sombra but it turns out he has had two wards and that they may be even stronger than he was."

Rainbow dash quickly added "So we were able to beat him how bad could they be, uh I mean your highness."

Celestia looked at her and said "You may have not been aware of it but he was not at full power so you beat a much weaker version of him."

This took the group by shock he was able to put up a fight even when injured so he may have been stronger had they given him a chance to be healed.

Celestia quickly added "Don't worry you would have still beaten him even while fully healed but he would have put up a bigger fight."

Applejack quickly said "So will using the elements as swords help us beat them princess."

Celestia quickly added "It might but at the very least help you out number them and win in the end."

Twilight then said "So princess when will, we begin the training?"

One week later

Naruto and Aku looked at the city of Ponyville unimpressed with what they saw. Aku then said in a bored tone "So this is the city where the wielders are supposed to be living in. It looks like crap brother."

Naruto nodded his head and said "For once I agree with you Aku so where do you think they are?"

Aku grinned and said "No need to look for them they are already behind us."

As he said this he took out a knife and threw it behind him.

As if on cue the main six jumped out form the bushes with their elements. Aku laughed as he saw them and said "Oh look we have to fight off teenage girls oh how terrifying."

Naruto was also unimpressed with what he saw but knew there was more than meets the eyes. He then said "Well look there is 2 of each kind of pony so we get one of each kind."

Aku gave an evil grin as he said "Then dibs on the arrogant blue one and the crazy looking pink one."

Naruto replied slightly annoyed "Fine but you get the white unicorn she looks way too weak."

Aku nodded and replied "Fine this is going to be a fun game."

Most of the mane six was appalled at what they heard. Not only were half of them offended but they treated this like a game.

Twilight yelled at Aku "You think this is a game you are trying to destroy life how is that a game."

Naruto glared at her as he said "No we have come to avenge our father and maybe if we are bored we might take over Equestria while we are at it."

Twilight replied just as angry as he was and said "If we didn't stop him he would have taken over the crystal empire and ruined the lives of all the crystal ponies."

Aku replied ready to kill her at a moment's notice "It was his kingdom and you had no idea how ungrateful the ponies where."

Finishing off Naruto said "It's clear talking will not get us anywhere and I'm itching for a fight and revenge so let's just do it now."

As he said that he charged at twilight and kicked her in the stomach. As he did this Rainbow tried to catch her be Aku appeared in front of he and grabbed her by the neck.

He then said in a mocking tone "Now, now you shouldn't interfere in someone else's fight."

He tossed her at Rarity and kicked her in the face as he did. Applejack tried to save them by lassoing them but as she threw the rope Naruto caught it in his hands and pulled her too him.

He smirked and said mockingly "Now hold on their cowgirl. What in tarnation do you think you're doing?" As he said that he began swinging her rope into the air and tossed her along with it.

Naruto gave Aku a bit of a bored look and could tell he was bored as well. The two that was unharmed where too shocked to even move.

Aku then said to the mane six "Is that all you weak ponies have I expected more of a challenge from the wielders of the elements of harmony. I guess this won't be so fun after all."

Naruto was about to add something in agreement but Twilight shouted to them and said "We were hoping not to do this but you brought this on yourselves."

Twilight then gave a signal for the others who took off their necklaces as she took off her crown. Naruto and Aku raised an eyebrow at what they were doing.

Naruto gave a small chuckle as he saw them holding their elements in front of them. He added in a slightly amused tone "Look brother their backup plan was to offer their elements to us in hopes we will let them live."

Rainbow dash retorted back and said "Just watch and see you jerk."

Before he could reply the elements began to glow and so did their wielders. Before they could question them the glow became so bright they had to cover their eyes.

When the glow faded the wielder emerged looking different. The injuries they sustained had vanished and in their hands they held swords.

Twilight had a lavender sword with a black handle. The blade was two and a half feet long and was curled at the edge.

Applejack's blade was orange in color and had a black hilt. The blade was 2 feet long and the handle was connected to a chain wrapped around Applejack's hand.

Rainbow Dash had a blue sword. The blade was thin and was at least 3 and a half feet long and looked light weight.

Fluttershy's had two blades which were yellow in color and were short each only being one and a half feet long.

Pinkie had the most unusual one of all. Her blade was bright pink and was 2 and a quarter feet long and it was like a cork screw and was curled up with the sharp edge pointing out.

Rarity like Fluttershy had two blades which were more like sickles than actual swords, it was 4 scythes like blades that was around 1 foot from the end to the beginning of the handle in a straight line it was a white blade with a purple hilt.

Aku and Naruto glared at the mane six and Aku laughed a bit. He mockingly added "Oh look they have swords we should grovel in fe…"

He was cut off by Rainbow kneeing him in the face. As he fell back he was in shock. Her speed had increased to a point she was able to catch him off guard. He wiped the blood off his face and gave them a glare.

He roared and shouted "You bitch I will kill you and dance on your grave."

He then charged toward her with the intent to kill but before he could reach her he could feel as if he was being tied up. As he looked around he could see pink binds around him and Pinkie's sword glowing. She then ran toward him and took out a blue cannon.

Naruto ran toward him and shouted "Aku careful she is going to fire a cannon hold on I'm coming."

Before he could take another step Applejack swung her sword by the chain and threw it at him. He was able to dodge at the last second gaining a cut on his cheek.

As he rubbed the blood off he saw Pinkie fire the cannon at Aku's face. However to their surprise the cannon only fired confetti on his face. Before Aku could recover for what happened Pinkie took out a party horn and blew it in his ear. She then hit him with a hammer she pulled out of nowhere and sent him flying.

As Aku landed the bindings disappeared. He then shouted "Oh you mother fuc…"

Before he could complete that sentence he was hit by what appeared to be rose petals. Even though they looked harmless one of them cut his face and detonated resulting in a huge explosion.

As he was sent flying he heard Rarity say "How dare you use that kind of vulgar language in front of ladies you rapscallion. It appears some on did not teach you basic manners."

Naruto roared out and went to attack the ponies that attacked Aku but was stopped by Twilight jumping in front of him. She gave him a death glare and said "Your fight is with us."

She then swung her sword at him which he dodged. As he moved out of the way her sword glowed and a purple beam of energy came out of it. Naruto tried to dodge it but it his leg and knocked him down.

As he shouted in pain he saw Fluttershy run toward him. Despite being in pain he knew she wouldn't doe anything because of how timid she seemed. To his surprise she swung her swords at him. He tried to jump away but she cut his chest leaving his shirt to be torn and a cut visible.

Before he could add anything she said "Oh I'm so sorry I didn't meant to hurt you that much are you alright?"

Naruto could only stare before he figured out she must have been mocking him. Despite how sincere it sounded he knew she was mocking him.

He then got up and shouted to Aku "Brother I have had enough it's time to take off the kid gloves I have had it with these idiots."

Aku who was just flung back by another one of Pinkie's attacks said "Why you took the words right out of my mouth. It's time to show them the real meaning of power."

Hearing this Pinkie bounced up and said "Oh what do you think they will do make scary faces at us or come up in ghost costumes and…"

As she rambled on Aku said in an annoyed tone "I am going to enjoy this far more than I should."

As he said that he released a huge amount of energy and so did Naruto. As they did it the ground underneath them shook and the area around them rose up and was destroyed.

Twilight could only stare as she said "What power the princess was right about them."

Rainbow Dash shouted "Quick let's stop them before they can transform."

As she said that she charade at them with her long sword in her hand. When she got close to Aku she was knocked back by his energy. Applejack quickly caught her and put her down.

Suddenly there was a huge explosion of smoke and they could see silhouettes of the two standing. When the smoke cleared the two of them looked different.

Naruto gained a yellow chakra shroud with six tomoe around his neck and what appeared to be horn like protrusions from his head and a swirl pattern on his stomach his body was also covered by various black lines.

Aku was in what could be best describe in a black suit of armor which exposed his head. His eyes turned red and his hair had appeared to be as if it were on fire. He had flames bursting out of the shoulder blades and his armor was covered in spikes.

Naruto laughed and said "Now you will feel the full extent of our power you fools."

Aku began to give the mane six an evil grin which unnerved them. They hadn't expected the brothers to have a second form but they were confident they could win the fight with the power they got.

Rainbow Dash quickly yelled out "It doesn't matter what your new form is we can still beat you two."

Aku laughed and said "Oh really now lets see you handle this."

Aku began to suck in air and inflate his cheeks. The flames on his shoulders turned blue and became more intense. Before Rainbow Dash could even think of what he was doing he produced a fierce blue flame from his mouth.

She moved her sword in front of her and her Cutie mark glowed. From her sword a vortex of wind came out and collided with the flames. To her surprise Rainbow's wind vortex was quickly engulfed by the flames and began spiral toward her.

When the flames reached her it exploded in her face setting her hair on fire. Before she could try and put it out Aku kneed her in the gut and stepped on her hair putting out the flames.

Aku mocking said "See I'm not such a bad guy after all I stopped your hair from burning."

Rarity ran at him and prepared to cut him with her sickles but he dodged and kicked one out of her hand. He grabbed her by her neck and began to choke her.

Pinkie ran toward her friend with her spiral sword in hand. Aku threw Rarity at her sword which caused Pinkie to drop her sword to not impale her friend. But the second she did Aku sped toward her and kicked her head knocking her back.

He then grabbed her sword and stabbed the flying Rarity on the shoulder he then removed her from the blade. As she began to scream Aku laughed and said "The sword may look fucked up but it's effective if it wasn't pink I would have used it as my own."

As he began to observe the spiral sword Rainbow charged at him from behind with her sword in hand ready to strike. He quickly turned around the blades collided.

He looked in her eyes and said "I was right out of all of them you were the best fighter well maybe except for that purple unicorn but I say that's around even."

She simply responded with an angry tone "I won't let you hurt my friends Even if it means losing my life."

As she said that her sword began to glow and it may have been slight but Aku noticed her power and speed increase slightly.

He then thought to him self "It appears when they are more fateful to their element it increases their power better keep a note of that. Given enough time I might have to use my final form."

The two of them began to exchange strikes and send sparks flying. Aku smirked and said "Well given how strong you are it's not a surprise you took out my father."

His expression then changed from amusement to pure anger as she continued "I will make you suffer for what you did, you little bitch."

Rainbow Dash replied with disgust on her face "We did what we had to do, he left us no choice and if we need to we'll do it again."

The two kept exchanging slashes and insults at high speeds. Even though Aku was holding back Rainbow Dash was putting up a good fight. Even though he wanted to kill her he was never the less impressed, she could have been a general in their army if he didn't hate her.

While Aku was Fighting Rainbow the other 3 were holding off Naruto who was quickly knocking them down.

Applejack used her chains and tied him down. They extended and were able to bind his entire body. Instead of struggling Naruto stayed calm and didn't move. Twilight began to charge up the purple beam from her sword.

As she was about to fire it Naruto quickly pulled the chains and broke free from them he then brought Applejack in front of him. He knew even with their power up their opponent's attacks could still hurt them.

He then said "Well I'll give you a choice your attack can badly hurt both me and this farm pony, so you either hit me and her or you drop you weapon so you can avoid hurting your friend."

Applejack quickly said "Twilight don't worry about me you have to stop him and if it means killing me just do it we can't let anymore lives be ruined."

Twilight expression of determination went to that of mixed emotion. He knew she had to stop him but she couldn't bring herself to harm one of her closest friends. She began dropped her sword and laid it on the ground.

Naruto then said in a cold voice "Now pass it to me and she goes free and if you don't I'll kill her."

Applejack shouted out close to tears "Don't do it sugarcube we can't let him win."

With Twilight's tears rolling down her cheek she used her magic and gave Naruto her sword. He then gave a cruel grin and said "Oh just so you know I lied I'm killing her anyway so I might as well do that now."

He grabbed her sword and plunged the blade into her arm and to save his ears the trouble of hearing her scream he knocked her out and put her on the ground with the sword over her head.

He then said "Now to finish the job once and for all."

But before he could strike, Fluttershy screamed out "HOW DARE YOU."

He turned around and was taken back to see the shy girl giving him a glare which genuinely took him back. As a reflex action he activated his Sharingan and looked back at her.

Using the mind control power he tired to control her and said "Turn around and give me your weapon."

However to his surprise she was able to resist his control and she said "No you drop Twilight's weapon and take your brother and leave now."

He was taken back completely she was able to resist the Sharingan and it was as if her glare was making him want to listen.

Fluttershy then said "Well mister, are you going to leave now."

Naruto tried to break eye contact by he was unable to avoid her gaze even when he closed his eyes he was unable to keep it closed for less than a second.

As she got close to him he knew he had to act quickly or she would be able to either kill him or make him able leave. He took the sword and stabbed his palm. The pain was enough to snap him out of the trance and he kept his eyes closed.

Fluttershy quickly snapped out of the stare and she said "Why would you do that."

Naruto growled and said "That was a nice trick you were able to resist the Sharingan but it wont work now with my eyes closed it's useless."

Twilight then added "This is good he can't see us so we have an advantage now."

Naruto smirked and said "Just because I can't see you doesn't mean I can't smell or hear you."

He ran toward Fluttershy and kneed her in the face. Twilight ran to help her friend but Naruto slashed the sword at her just missing her and cutting her hair.

Fluttershy tried to hit him with her swords but he used his to block it. Despite her having two swords and Naruto not being able to use his eyes he was still significantly stronger than her. His strength overcame Fluttershy's blades and snapped them in half.

Before she could try and react he punches her in the gut and knocked her out. When he heard her fall to the ground he saw her blades had turned back to her element.

Naruto wanting to test out a theory he dropped Twilight's sword ran to where Rarity was and snapped her scythes. Sure enough the scythes glowed and turned back to the element of generosity.

He then looked up and said "Aku just to let you know if you break the blade they turn back to the elements so if you finish toying with her just break the sword to end the fight quickly."

Aku gave him a glare and while dodging strikes said "Hey that sword belonged to one of my mine I'm kicking your ass when we get back home."

Before Naruto could retort back He jumped out of the way and dodged Applejack's sword which was swung at him. He looked and saw her staring at him. Blood dripped from her arm with a few drops of it in her blonde hair.

Naruto Looked at her and said "You should have done yourself a favor and stayed down."

Applejack tired to take back her sword but Naruto grabbed it by the chain and pulled her toward him. He smirked and said "I'm going to make sure you don't get up after this you waste of oxygen."

He then grabbed the chain and tied it around his hands. He then said "Let's make sure you don't waste anymore shall we."

Before she could run Naruto put the chain around her neck and used it as a noose to choke her. Applejack began to struggle, she put her good hand on the chain to try and remove it but Naruto just tighten his grip even more.

Naruto laughed and said "Hey come on cow girl don't have anything funny to say."

She tried to respond but all that came out was a muffled scream.

Naruto manically grinned ands added "Hilarious."

As she kept struggling Applejack could feel the lack of oxygen in her body. Her limbs began to feel limp and she was about to lose consciousness.

However before she could faint she felt the chains around her neck loosen. She looked and saw Twilight In a fighting position with her sword in hand. She then saw Naruto with her sword and the chain rapped around his hand.

Naruto was able to dodge the strike with no damage but just barely. He looked at her with a pissed and slightly amused look and said "So I thought you were cowering in fear where did this sudden burst of courage come from?"

She looked at him but instead of fear she gave a look of confidence as she said "I will not lose my friends to someone like you are about to learn the power of friendship."

Before Naruto could laugh Twilight's sword glowed and she dashed at him. He used his sword to block the strike as he noticed her increase in power.

Naruto smirked as he said "Well it looks like we made the right choice of taking the others out."

Naruto began to exchange strikes with Twilight. She was trying her hardest to get the upper hand but they were in a deadlock. She and Rainbow were the only ones conscious, she knew they were strong but not this strong and from the looks of it they were holding back.

She thought to herself "We have to win this if we don't Equestria is doomed. How are we going to beat them?"

Earlier in Canterlot

Celestia looked intensely at the fight through a magic crystal orb. As expected when they activated the elements they would have the upper hand it looked as if they would win.

As she was watching Luna walked in and said "Dear sister how goes the fight?"

Celestia looked at her and said "It looks like they can win this fight. The two of them are strong but not as much as Sombra was."

Luna nodded and said "If they had been that strong we would have handled them ourselves."

As she finished she noticed something on the crystal "Sister what is that?"

Celestia looked and saw what seemed to be them powering up. She gasped and said "No it can't be they were hiding their true power?"

As they looked they gave horrified stares at the menacing new form they had. Luna then said "I have never seen anything like that before what are they?"

Celestia couldn't even respond she could only stare in shock as she saw the wielders get beaten down by the two.

She finally said "Luna we have to go now this changes every thing we have to save them."

Luna nodded and stretched her wings "We should be able to get there in 10 minutes at full speed lets hope that's enough."

At present

As they were fighting the remaining two Naruto and Aku grew increasingly bored. The wielders had grown from amusing to just plain annoying.

Naruto kicked Twilight back and said "Well this was fun but now I'm ending it."

As he said this he formed a black ball of energy in his hands and said while smirking "Let's see how you handle a biju ball."

He ran and thrust the ball at he which she blocked with her sword. However to her surprise the ball shattered her sword like it was made of butter and the shockwave that was created when they collided was strong enough to send her flying and crash on the ground as her sword turned back to her element.

As Aku saw that he smirked and said "Well looks like you are the only one left your reward you get to die last and watch as we kill your friends."

Rainbow Dash tried to slash at him but he caught her sword in his hand and snapped it. As it turned back to the element form he punched her in the gut and knocked her out.

Aku frowned and said "Oh shit well I guess we have to wait till she wakes up so we can make her watch."

Naruto shook his head and said "No let's just end this fast it's becoming boring now."

Aku smirked and said "Rock paper scissors to see who kills first."

Naruto took his hand back ready to play and so did Aku, however before they could even say the chant a voice said "We won't let you hurt them you monsters."

Naruto looked up and saw the source of the voice. It was a white alicorn with a flowing blue green and pink mane. Naruto couldn't help but stare at her she was easily the most beautiful creature he had seen. Her body could rival that of supermodels and was barely contained by the tight white dress she wore.

Aku on the other hand was busy looking at the dark blue alicorn next to her. Her mane looked like the night sky and glistened with what looked like stars on it. But his eyes drifted to another part of her body which was barely covered by her black dress.

Noticing the stares they were getting from the boys Luna said "How dare you look at us with lust in your eyes we are the princesses of Equestria and we will not be treated like…."

As she continued ranting Aku rolled his eyes and said to Naruto "Oh great she's an uptight bitch that takes her down to like 8.5."

As Naruto was about to roll his eyes he noticed something Luna said "Aku she said she and her sister were the princess of Equestria which means…."

Aku's eyes grew large as he said "They were the ones who banished father all those years ago."

Aku narrowed his eyes and shouted "Enough princess Luna and if your wondering how I know your name our father told us stories about you how you were nothing but a useless bitch who couldn't keep her nose out of everyone else's business."

Luna took a step back and was clearly insulted by his words. Celestia stepped back and said "Watch how you speak to my sister you …."

Naruto cut her off and said "And you must be Celestia the one who banished Luna to the moon when she had just one fleeting moment of jealousy to think you could be so heartless to do that to your own sister."

Celestia glared at him and said "You have some nerve to come here and say that to us who do you think you are."

Aku gritted his teeth and said "I can ask you the same question just who the hell do you think we are?"

Naruto quickly added "I'll tell you who we are we are the sons of king Sombra and we are the ones who will wipe you and the elements of harmony from the face of the earth."

Celestia stared the two of them down and analyzed them. Even though they talked big they had the power to back it up she may have had to use that form if she wanted to beat them.

Luna was prepared to fight them she was not willing to let the wielders, the first friends she had in over a thousand years, die to those scum. She may have not been as strong as Celestia was but she would still fight as much as she could.

Celestia looked at them and said in a loud booming royal Canterlot voice "LEAVE THIS PLACE NOW AND NEVER RETURN OR YOU WILL MEET YOUR FATHER IN THE AFTERLIFE."

Naruto laughed and said "Yeah right like you would be willing to kill…"

She cut him off and said "If it insures the safety of my subjects I will do it quickly and painlessly."

She then used her magic and transported the mane six back to the town. She then continued "Prepare to see my wrath when you attack my subjects."

As she said that the ground beneath her shook. When they looked at her they saw her hair turning red and yellow. Her body gave a golden glow which intensified at each passing second and her eyes turned gray. Soon she stopped charging her energy and spread out her wings which had turned golden in color.

She then said "This is my strongest form I rarely ever use it for combat as any one who is nearby can be badly hurt if they are not strong enough which is why I sent the others away this is between us now. However I am benevolent you have till the count of three to leave now and never return."

Aku snorted and said "Are you joking we aren't scared of you."

She didn't even reply but just released a huge amount of power and said "ONE."

Luna could only marvel at her sister's power, her sister had told of a form she had but she never knew it was so powerful.

Naruto began to get a bit worried she had a lot of power and there was no time to go into the second version of the nine tails shroud. He began to power up another biju bomb but put much more power into it this time.

Celestia ignored what he was doing and said "TWO." At that she released even more power which caused Aku to drop his smug grin.

Naruto was ready to use his attack but was unsure if it was able to keep up with the sun princesses' attack. Celestia held her hand forward and was about to say three but a voice from behind said "Really trying intimidate them are you Tia?"

They looked and saw 'Blade' walk toward them. He then looked at Naruto and Aku and said "Well this all went horribly off plan you two should have just killed the wielders at the start instead of holding back."

Naruto was about to retort back to him but Celestia said "What are you doing here?"

Blade snorted and said "Oh Tia is that any way to greet an old friend? Well I'd love to stay and chat but I need to pick up my idiots. Come along boys."

Before they could respond he sped behind them and trapped them in a magical dome. Before he left he said "Well this was lovely we have to do it again sometime see you later princesses."

With that his horn glowed and the three of them disappeared. Luna stepped forward and said with disgust "A teleportation spell and a strong one at that they are probably half way across the planet."

Celestia didn't utter a word she merely powered down to her base and collapsed. Luna ran to her and said "Sister are you alright?"

Celestia simply said "I'm fine Luna but that form takes a lot out of me and I did release a lot of power so I could make them leave. But that's not the point we have to see Twilight and her friends we need to make sure they are alive."

Luna nodded and carried her sister to Ponyville.

Meanwhile

Blade dropped Naruto and Aku to the ground and growled at them as he said "You idiots if I didn't get there when I did you would have been dead by now."

Aku scoffed and said "Please at full power we could have easily taken her down."

Blade glared at him and said "Yes but you really think they would have given you that chance?"

Naruto simply added "I doesn't matter the important thing is that we rest us and then fight them again so we can finish the job."

Blade was about to respond but then said "Wait were you disappointed when you fought the wielders of the elements?"

Aku chimed in and said "So what is we were?"

Blade quickly said "Well you see their sword have a second power up and it's powerful."

Naruto quickly added "What does that have to do with this why would we want to make them stronger?"

Blade smirked and said "Simple you see what's the best way to defeat them? The answer is simple crush their morale and the way to do that is simple. If you beat them when they are at their strongest they will lose all will to fight and you can crush them like the bugs they are."

Aku then said "And this time we do it when we are in full power just so they see how weak they really are.

Naruto smirked and said "It sounds like a bad idea but I want to do it just so Celestia knows her full power is nothing compared to mine."

Blade nodded and said "I know just the group of people to help us achieve that."


> Chapter 7

Aku continued to walk along the meeting hall with a look of impatience on his face and a groan escaping his lips every few seconds. Naruto on the other hand was trying to do some meditating but had to keep opening his eyes to glare at Aku.

He finally spoke up and yelled "Will you stop that Blade said he will be back with the members of the Omega council in two hours."

Aku pouted and said "It's been two hours and twenty three seconds he's late."

Naruto rolled his eyes and said "Don't be such a baby Aku, he'll be here soon."

Aku quickly added "Also what kind of dumb name is omega council anyway? I bet they all got together and decided to pick the dumbest sounding name."

Naruto paused for a second before saying "It took two hours for you to make a crack at the name looks like your growing up."

Suddenly the doors of the chamber flung open and Blade walked and said "Sorry for the wait boys but I have some good news I found a member."

Naruto scoffed and said "Just one member really?"

Blade growled and said "It's difficult to find even one considering how they rarely even stay in one place for more than a week."

Aku rolled his eyes and said "Well where is this member anyway."

As if one cue a flute began playing in the background (check this for the song watch?v=qnc4nW4-lgY ) which caused Naruto and Aku to turn around to find the player. Playing the flute was a hooded man hiding in the shadows. He came out and stopped playing the flute and lifted up his head.

From what they saw he was tall human male, around 6 foot 2 inches, and well-built body structure. He had piercing green eyes which were the only visible part of his face. His forehead was covered by a hood and his lower face was covered by a mask not unlike that leaf ninja that first attacked the brothers. His hood was sleeveless which exposed his muscular arms and he wore black leather pants and fingerless black gloves. He had a holster on his left side and two hook swords strapped to his back. As he walked past the brothers they noticed a light blue dragon symbol on the back of the hood. He then removed the hood to reveal spiky blue hair that's extended past his shoulders.

He looked at Naruto and said with a hint of amazement in his voice "So he was right you are alive nine tailed Jinchūriki it is an honor to meet you. And I'm sorry who are you unicorn?"

Aku glared at him and said "Hey I am Aku Obsidian son of king Sombra and one of your employers so you will…"

Naruto covered his brother's mouth as he said "I am sorry about him he tends to get a little touchy at times and call me Naruto and now I believe this is where you tell me your name."

The man cleared his throat and said "My name is Connor O Drake a member of the omega council."

Aku walked up to him and could see he was at least 5 inches taller than him. He then said "Wow you are one tall son of a bitch dude."

Connor paused for a second before saying "Uh thank you I guess."

Naruto quickly broke the awkwardness by saying "Now on to more important matters I believe Blade informed you of the mission."

Connor nodded and replied "Yes he told me that I had to help some ponies unlock their full power."

Aku quickly added "Or if you like try and kill them but bring them back here so we can do it ourselves."

Naruto then continued "If you can help them unlock this power you will be rewarded greatly. In fact Aku show him the down payment."

Aku took out a small sack form his pocket and it barely covered his palm. Before Connor could snort at that Aku opened it and emptied the contents on the floor and gold coins began to flood out of the sack until it made a large pile almost a 100 times what the bag looked like it could hold.

Connor's face was covered by his mask but it was obvious his jaw dropped. He looked at Aku in disbelief and said "There is no way you could fit all that in that small bag how did you even do that?"

Aku laughed and said "Magic duh."

Naruto quickly added "It sounds like sarcasm but it's really not."

Connor nodded and said "Well it looks like we have some business to do."

Naruto nodded and said "But first try and contact the other members of your group we want all 10 of them to do this job."

Connor nodded and said "Alright how long before you want them to be here?"

Aku out his hand on his chin and said "Considering the state we left them in I'd say about 2 months maybe I mean we need to give them time to prepare."

Connor quickly added "Also why do you want them to get stronger if you just plan to kill them anyway?"

Naruto took over and replied "What's the best way to take down an opponent, why you crush all hope they have but not before giving them a tiny window of hope so it will make the defeat all the more crushing."

Aku quickly added "And our motive is none of your concern after all a job is a job no matter how illogical it may seem."

Connor sighed and replied "Alright then I'll get them informed about this."

Naruto turned to Aku and said "I'll leave you to tell the wielders about the attack then brother."

Aku gave a maniacal grin as he said "Well my day just got better."

At Ponyville hospital

Twilight began to regain consciousness and wondered what happened, the last thing she remembered was fighting Aku and Naruto and then being knocked out. She was sure she was still alive but had a few doubts. She moved her hand around and felt a soft mattress, as she opened her eyes she noticed she was in a hospital room and was covered in bandages. She tried to sit up but quickly went down as the pain shot through her body.

She began to gain a dejected look on her face. She had failed her friends and her teacher, how could she lose to those monsters they could have beaten them had they not transformed or they could have beaten them had she unlocked the second release of the elements the princesses told them about but they couldn't learn it in time.

Suddenly she realized something how were they still alive and in Ponyville, the hospital looked like one in Ponyville and it was clear they were alive, had the brothers had a sudden fit of mercy or did they have to leave? As these questions raced through her mind the door opened and Spike walked in. As he looked at Twilight's bed Twilight swore she could see tears forming in his already reddened eyes, he had clearly been crying before.

Spike ran toward the bed and jumped up and hugged the lavender unicorn, sobbing as he said "I thought… I lost you forever Twilight."

Twilight returned the hug and said "Please don't cry Spike I'm sorry I had to make you go through this."

Spike quickly replied "I'm not crying I just have something in my eye."

As Twilight was consoling the young dragon Luna walked in and said "Twilight you're awake that's good."

Twilight looked at the princess and asked "Princess Luna what happened to Naruto and Aku did we win?"

Luna hesitated for a second before saying "In a sense we won, my sister was able to scare them off by revealing her true power but we fear they may return prepared for it."

Suddenly Celestia walked in the room and said "I'm sorry I put you and your friends through that Twilight I underestimated their power."

Twilight put Spike on her bed and then said "It's alright princess no one could have expected them to have this second form I have to say they were a lot stronger than Sombra was."

Celestia hesitated for a second before saying "Actually they were still weaker than Sombra was before he was banished we needed to seal off a good chunk of his power when we banished him. But to think they can approach his power and be so young."

Twilight put her head down and said "So when do you think they will come back?"

Luna replied and said "We do not know but when they do we will be prepared. I'm sorry for this but it's almost time to raise the moon so I must take my leave."

As Luna left Celestia spoke up and said "I'm sorry I have to apologize for her she has not had friends for a long time so she doesn't really know how to deal with situations like these."

Twilight paused for a second before saying "Princess Luna said you revealed your true power to them what did she mean by that?"

Celestia Hesitated but finally said "You see Twilight I have a special form, a transformation if you will it increases my power to unbelievable levels it takes a lot of energy for me to use it considering I have rarely used it. You do not need to know all the details about it but I unlocked it shortly after Discord was stoned for the first time. My father told me all alicorns can access it but he said it would have taken many, many years of training. "

Twilight quickly replied "Is it possible Discord may have accidentally awoken it when you and Luna fought him."

Celestia nodded and said "Yes it has occurred to me Discord may have accelerated the process of me learning it, Luna has seen it but that was over 1000 years ago, so it surprised her a bit."

Twilight tried to sit up but pain still shot through her body, noticing the pain her student was in Celestia said "Rest now Twilight we will talk once you are better."

Twilight stopped her as she was leaving and said "Princess can you take Spike home he needs his rest. I'm afraid he worried himself to the point of exhaustion." She pointed at the baby dragon who was now fast asleep but looked restless.

Celestia noticing the sadden look on her student's face said "It was not your fault he had to go through this Twilight don't blame yourself for this."

As she picked out the dragon and walked out of the room she mumbled to herself "It was my fault…"

Later

Luna took a deep breath as she started up her magic, a silly old ritual she did whenever she raised up the moon. Using her magic she lifted the moon in the night sky, as the moon shone in the night sky Luna sighed in relief. She often cleared her head and relieved herself when she did this, what seemed godlike to another being was a stress relief to her.

Suddenly she heard a clapping noise from behind, as she looked around she saw Aku clapping his hands with a bit of an amused look on his face. He then said in a condescending tone "Well done princess that was pretty ama..."

Before he could finish Luna shot a beam toward him, which to her surprise he made no attempt to dodge. As the beam hit him it appeared to move through him and hit a wall destroying it.

Aku laughed and said "Man your sister will be pissed you broke that wall, also this is just a projection I'm not really here Lulu."

Luna began to blush as he finished and said "That's Princess Lulu… I mean Princess Luna to you monster."

Aku gave arrogant laugh and said "Oh M word right off the bat, Aku like. Anyway time for the real reason I'm here you remember when me and my brother attacked you and the wielders in Ponyville."

Luna rolled her eyes and said "That was today."

Aku gave her a legitimately amazed look and said "Really it feels like it's been almost 5 months. Anyway we have hired some mercenaries to attack the wielders the first one will attack in 2 month just letting you know."

Before he could go Luna stopped him and said "Wait what did, you say."

Aku quickly replied "Well we hired a group called the omega council to attack you guys, yeah I know dumb name, they will attack in one month but we only have one guy now so yeah just letting you know."

Luna suddenly shouted out to him "WAIT WHY ARE THOU DOING THIS."

Aku shook his head and said "Oh god you're loud, and to answer your question we want the wielders to unlock the second form of their swords and then we plan to kill them for revenge does that answer your question Lulu?"

Luna glared at him and said "Let me tell you something, my friends and sister will fight and defeat both of you and your group you will lose."

Aku let out a tiny laugh and said "You know I'm trying to hate you but you make it so damn hard, I can't help but feel a tiny bit attracted to you."

Luna began to turn red as she said "Just as much as I'd expect from the son of Sombra."

Aku clenched his fist and shouted "Hey watch how you speak of my father he took me and Naruto in when no one else wanted us."

Luna's tone softened as she said "What are you talking about."

Aku's tone returned to normal and he said "Like you would care well I have to be off now, tell your sister about this if you want."

As he said that he disappeared in a puff of smoke leaving Luna to think over what he told her.

Later

Celestia stared at her sister for what seemed like eternity. She finally spoke up and said "Did you say they hired the Omega Council?"

Luna nodded which prompted Celestia to give a frightened look "Sister the average member in that group at full power would require my full power to beat."

Luna began to turn pale as she said "What how can they be so powerful it's not possible."

Celestia gave her a serious look and said "We will have no choice if we want them to stand a chance we will have to train them seriously. When they can leave the hospital we begin the training."

Luna gave her a look of shock and said "But sister they may not be ready to…"

Celestia yelled back at her "It is the only chance they have of survival I won't let them rush into this unprepared like they did today."

Luna looked at her sister with a bit of a hurt look on her face which prompted Celestia to say "I'm sorry I snapped Luna the thing is it was my fault Twilight and the girls got hurt today, I was a fool I thought they could handle it and I was wrong. If I had stepped in earlier she would not be in hospital now."

Luna interrupted her and said "Sister this is not your…"

Celestia cut in and said "Yes it is if I had just taken care of Sombra myself, those demons would try and kill me instead; Twilight and her friends would be unharmed and they would not have to worry about being killed by those monsters. And if that doesn't make me feel bad enough I know my prized pupil, the one who is like the daughter I never had, well enough to know she is killing herself with guilt over thinking she failed me when in fact it's the opposite. Not to mention if I try telling her that she will disagree with and unintentionally make me feel even worse than I already do."

Luna put her hands on Celestia's shoulder and said "Well then you did cause this but you know what so did I. I could have stopped Sombra, I could have beaten him and had them come after me, at any time I could have said this was too much for them but I didn't, I am as much fault as you are and you can't deny that but we can't just sit down and wallow in our grief. What we can do is try and correct them I don't want these girls to fight a war they don't want. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here now and I would sooner die than send them to their deaths."

Celestia gave a faint smile and said "I'm sorry you're right Luna we must ask them if they want to do this if they disagree we will make sure they live by fighting the Omega Council and them."

Luna smiled and said "Well then sister I think it's time for us to take some rest the doctor said they should all be up by tomorrow."

The next day at Ponyville hospital

The mane six and Spike looked at the princesses in shock, not only did Aku and Naruto hire a group of mercenaries to attack them but they may be even stronger than the princesses themselves.

Rainbow was the first to speak up and said "Princess why are you telling us this if we can't stop those jerks how can we stop a whole group of them."

Celestia spoke up and said "That's our offer for you we will train you till they arrive if you agree to it. We will help you try and unlock the second form of your swords. If you disagree we will protect you with our lives and make sure no one gets hurt."

Luna then added "We want you to make your choice based on what you want not what we want to do."

Twilight raised her head and said "Princess I want to help I won't let anyone down again I want to train and become stronger to beat them."

Applejack added to that "Yeah those varmints need to pay, I'm in too."

Rarity was the next to speak up and said "I agree those ruffians and their father have hurt enough ponies and their reign of terror ends now."

Rainbow smirked and said "Well I have to be a pretty bad element of loyalty to let my friends fight and not do anything about it, I'm in too."

Pinkie raised her arms up and said while laughing "Yeah lets show those meanies whose boss."

Fluttershy put her head down and said "I don't want to let anyone down so I'll help as well…"

Celestia went up to Fluttershy and said "Fluttershy dear you don't have to fight if you don't want to none of us will hold it against you."

Fluttershy looked around the room and saw all of her friends nodding in agreement. She gave a faint smile and said "No princess this is something I have to do."

Celestia gave a bright smile and said "Alright girls we begin training as soon as you can …."

"STOP IT." A loud voice echoed through the room, the girls looked around and saw it came from Spike who had an angry looking expression on his face.

Twilight gave him a shocked look and said "Spike what are, you saying?"

Spike looked at her and said "No I won't let you or anyone else go through this you have been hurt enough."

Twilight put her hand on the young dragon "Spike please we have to do this we need to…"

Spike cut her off and knocked off her hand as he said "No you don't Princess Celestia said she can handle this you don't need to do this. I won't stand here and let you…"

Before he could finish he ran out of the room leaving the others in silence. Twilight broke the silence and said "I should go talk to him."

Before she could get up Luna stopped her and said "No he needs to cool off a bit give him some time."

Rarity looked up and said "But why would he even act like that that is very unlike Spike?"

Twilight stayed quiet for a second before saying "Yesterday he came close to losing 6 ponies he views as his closest friends or family he doesn't want this to happen again."

Celestia spoke up and said "Well I will speak with him later at night for now I will go ask the doctor when you can leave."

Luna spoke up and said "I actually spoke to the doctor he said you can leave by tomorrow but should not do strenuous exercises for about 2 days. We can begin the training as soon as you can."

Spike's point of view

I could only stare in shock at what the princess told them, the same people who hurt them want to do it again, why can't they leave them alone; I was the one who saved the empire it was my fault and not theirs. I was punishing my friends for being a 'hero' and trying to save them when I just made it worse.

I looked up and heard Celestia say "That's our offer for you we will train you till they arrive if you agree to it. We will help you try and unlock the second form of your swords. If you disagree we will protect you with our lives and make sure no one gets hurt."

I was sighing in relief the girls will be smart enough not to take this deal right I mean the princess agreed to protect them why would they still need to fight?

However my expression turned sour when I saw the others actually agreeing to risk their lives again even Fluttershy, why would they agree to something like this. When they agreed to fight Discord at least he was not evil enough to kill them, but these boys were more than willing to kill them.

Finally my rage took over me and I shouted out to them "STOP IT."

Twilight looked at me and said "Spike what are, you saying?"

What was I saying? I was obviously saying I didn't want my friends to be killed. I just looked at her and said "No I won't let you or anyone else go through this you have been hurt enough."

Twilight put her hand on my shoulder and said "Spike please we have to do this we need to…"

Without thinking I hit her hand of me and said ""No you don't Princess Celestia said she can handle this you don't need to do this. I won't stand here and let you…"

I momentarily froze, I just hit and yelled at one of my oldest friends I couldn't even finish my own sentence as the shame over took me. Without saying a word I ran off leaving them in silence.

I didn't stop running until went back to the library. I was overcome with anger and grief, what were they thinking sure they have done thing like these before but the odds were against them why couldn't they just let the princesses handle this mess? Trying to relieve my anger I kicked a bookshelf hard. That of course was my mistake as that caused some books form the top shelf to land on me.

As I rubbed my head I picked up some books and climbed up the ladder to put them back. As I was climbing a book caught my eye. The book was one I had not seen from its appearance it looked old but I was sure it was never in the library must have been some of the books princess Celestia sent form the Canterlot Library. Taking it out I saw it was titled 'The valley of lost hope'.

For some reason I was compelled to open and read it. It turned to page one and began to read. I won't bore you with the details but the valley of lost hope was a place where people could train to reach insane levels of power. However those who trained their where often overcome by the training and conditions there that they lost all hope and left in disgrace, hence the name. At first I thought it was a fictional book but based on the description and lack of character names I began to have doubts.

Closing the book I began to browse the library. Being Twilight's assistant has one perk of knowing where all the books are when I need them, even though I tend to mostly read comics. For what seemed like hours I browsed through the books on the non-fiction side. I must have swept gone through at least a hundred books before I found something. It was about the valley but had a detail that the other book didn't.

Apparently there was a bit of a time flux in that land which made it flow slowly and that it could even be a whole another dimension altogether. The way to getting there was unknown but the book said it lies around midway between Equestria and the Dragon Kingdom and only someone of pure intentions can even hope of going there. I blew off some dust on the book and it said some grandmaster would try and train those who enter but if you fail he will crush all hope you have of succeeding until you leave on your own.

Suddenly it dawned on me why I was so attracted to the book, it had the answers to all my problems I would find this place on my own and I would train with the grandmaster so I could help protect my friends. I know it's a long shot but I have to do it to help them. I looked around for a while and found a piece of paper and began writing a note.

Later

Normal Point of view

Twilight began to walk home with the princesses behind her. Celestia spoke up and said "Twilight are you sure you should be doing this."

Twilight smiled at her mentor and said "Than you for your concern princess but I'll be fine I also really need to see Spike he needs to be calmed down."

Celestia gave a sling smile as she knew her student would not back down when she was like this, to her even though she had raised Spike for the first year of his life Twilight was more of a mother to him than she was and she knew Twilight would not rest until she felt Spike was alright.

When they got to the library Twilight opened the doors and began to look for Spike. She went to his bed but he was not sleeping in it, as she was looking she heard Luna say "Twilight I found a note on a table and I think it might be form Spike."

Twilight bolted toward the princess and grabbed the note from her hand and began to read it out loud "To those who it may concern, I have decided I can't let you go through fighting them alone so I am going on a journey to the valley of lost hope so I can protect you, please do not try and find me this is something I have to do for myself and it's something I need to do. I will see you again soon, your friend Spike."

Twilight dropped the note and let a few tears escape her eyes. Luna spoke up and said "Twilight don't worry we will find him he can't have gone far right sister." Luna looked around but Celestia was not in the room.

In the outskirts of Ponyville

Spike began walking with a small sack filled with food for his journey; he hoped it would be enough for him till he got to the valley.

As he was walking he felt him knock into someone, which resulted in him landing on the floor. He scratched his head and said "Hey watch where you're go…. Princess Celestia."

Standing before him was the alicorns princess herself. She looked at Spike sympathetically and said in a soft tone "Hello Spike I'm sorry I knocked you down. So you are on your way to the valley of lost hope are you?"

Spike dusted himself off and said "Yeah I also asked that no one try to stop me from doing so this is something I have to do."

Celestia smirked and said "I know and so I decided to tell you, you are going the wrong way."

Spike's jaw nearly dropped when he heard that. He quickly said "But it's supposed to be midway between the dragon kingdom and Equestria."

Celestia hit her head and said "Spike the dragon kingdom is due east you are going west."

Spike scratched his head and said "Oh well thanks, but why help me when the others would stop me."

Celestia smiled and said "I know what you are going through Spike and so I want to help you get stronger."

Before he could reply he heard a voice shout out to him "Spike there you are."

The two looked up and saw Twilight being carried by Luna flying toward them. As they landed Twilight ran toward the dragon and hugged him as she said "Please Spike don't do this it's too dangerous."

Spike hugged back and said "I have to I want to help you and the only way to do that is to get stronger."

Twilight broke the hug and looked him strait in the eye "Now Listen Spike you are going home now you will get hurt if you do this, do you know what it feels like not knowing how you are, are you safe are you hurt are you even alive?"

Spike stood in place and replied with a cold tone "Yeah I do know what it's like I have to go through it not just for you but for all 6 of you, not knowing whether I seeing you off will be the last time we ever see each other again. So I do know what you are going through and I don't want to feel like that again I want to train and become stronger so I can join your adventures and help you."

Twilight could not respond to what she heard, on one hand she knew Spike was right, she had made him go through so much but the intensity never occurred until now. She could not blame him on wanting to help but on the other hand he was still risking his life to help them and she didn't want to do this.

Finally she nodded and said "Alright Spike you win I'll let you go but on two conditions, you have to say goodbye to everyone before you leave and if the princesses allow it you must let at least 4 guards join you to protect you."

Luna nodded at that and said "Yes I will allow this and my sister will agree as well."

Spike gave a small smile and said "Alright let's go visit the others then."

At the hospital

The others just finished listening to Spike's story and stood there in shock. Finally Applejack approached him and said "Are you sure this is what you want to do sugarcube?"

Spike nodded and said "Yes this is what I have to do I know you might not agree with me but I'm going none the less."

Applejack shook her head and said "I wasn't going to stop you; I just wanted to wish you luck."

Rainbow Dash nodded and said "Don't worry Spike the guards will protect you you'll be fine."

Pinkie jumped up to him and said "Oh I wish I could come with you so I can throw you a training party with the grandmaster."

Fluttershy quietly walked up and said "If you want to go you should…. I just hope you will be alright."

Spike nodded and said "Don't worry girls I'll be fine and thank you for supporting me."

Rarity hugged the baby dragon and said "Oh Spikey Wikey I really wish you didn't have to leave but I hope you will be alright and be sure to write to us every day."

Spike's face turned red which did not go unnoticed by the others. He nervously smiled and said "I'll do my best."

Twilight patted his back and said "Well Spike I guess this is goodbye then, take care."

Spike got up and said "Bye guys see you in 2 months."

As he was about to walk out Celestia stopped him and handed him a small sword and shield. Before he could question she gave him a necklace with a blue gem.

She then said "The gem will glow brighter when you get closer to the valley, when it turns red however you will need to send the guards off the sword and shield will be to protect you when that happens, but don't worry it should only happen one mile before you reach the valley location and when you are there it will glow green."

Spike nodded and walked out the door past 2 solar and 2 lunar guards. When he was out of sight Twilight approached them and said "Listen you better make sure he is safe or I'll make sure what horrors lie outside of Equestria seem like child's play in comparison do I make myself clear?"

The guards nodded and began to sweat; some of them had seen Twilight growing up and knew how powerful she was.

A solar Pegasus guard nodded and said "Crystal mam."

Luna let out a small laugh and whispered to Celestia "You were right she does have the makings of a good princess I haven't seen the guards this scared since the time you found out one of them ate your royal cake."

Celestia blushed and said "I thought we agreed to never bring that up again."

Luna quickly replied "I never agreed to anything sister."

Two months later

Twilight and the others stood on the outskirts of the city, this time with the princesses' right behind them. They were not going to lose now after all the training they endured they were ready for this, they hadn't unlocked the full power of the swords yet but they had gotten stronger they were confident they could win."

Rainbow tapped her foot on the ground and said "I really wished they had given a time for when this guy would arrive."

Celestia put her hand on her subject and said "Be patient Rainbow Dash they will arrive soon enough."

As they finished they heard a flute playing the in background, the tone was almost enchanting they felt drawn to the music but stayed in place. From the Everfree forest a hooded figure came out playing the flute. The darkness of the forest illuminated his glowing green eyes, as he walked toward them.

When he was about four meters away from them he stopped and said "My name is Connor O Drake and the one who has been hired to attack you sorry about that, girls."
