Strange Days Indeed
"Well that was a strange day, hasn't it, Tomato?" A white pegasus asked his friend. They were walking back to his dorm and he just wanted to make small talk.
"It sure was, Nimbus" Tomato said. He then proceed to recap on the today's event. It started with a normal morning of him just working on some assignment. Soon later his friend, Flora Peace came to dorm so she could drag him out so he isn't working so that hard, he didn't mind. They headed to a nearby café, when the first strange thing happen. A grey earth pony ask if he prefer tea, soda, or coffee, but that isn't the strange part. The strange part was that he decided to actually answer the total stranger, but it was getting him free drinks. He didn't like the tea, and for the soda... he made a loud burp in front of Flora, which cause a little embarrassment for himself. The coffee made Tomato a little bit crazy, that he was able to scare off the grey pony. He was lucky Flora was there to calm him down. After that was done Tomato decided to go to the book store to pick up the new novel Dash Silver, while he was out. Flora followed since she had nothing better to do. So they went until they meet another pony, he was wearing a lot grey clothing, but they could made that this pony was a pegasus. The pegasus soon asked him and Flora, if they were a couple. Tomato assure the pegasus they won't a couple, then suddenly the pegasus quickly removed his grey clothing. He was a red pegasus wearing a vest, bandana and a single gauntlet on his right hoof, he also had a black mane with a red stripe. Soon the red pegasus pushed him into Flora, almost causing them to kiss, but fail. He quickly flew away, seeing how his plan fail, but he be back. With that awkward moment, Flora ran away with a little embarrassment and a little displeased. He could have sworn that Flora's face was being a disappointed face. He quickly dismiss the thought and head back to his dorm because he had enough for today.
Tomato was walking back to his dorm, until he sees his good friend Nimbus. He was just singing to some colts and fillies, he didn't see that there's any problem to just say hi, so Tomato went to see his friend. As he walked to his friend another grey pony came up to him. Tomato was now planning to just get back to his dorm, since he had enough pranks pull on him, even if it's just one, but the pony on asked if it was possible to be gruntled. Tomato was confused, but he fine with answering a stranger a simple question. Satisfied the pony just walked away, while leaving Tomato confused. Moving on, Tomato went to see his friend. He was somewhat happy, Nimbus's twin, Cirrus wasn't around, he didn't hate her, she just did stuff that annoyed him, he could only handle so much. He remember the time when Cirrus made him read a book called 'MLP Greatest FanFic'... he still has nightmares. He also remember, Cirrus forcing him to signed up to this club called 'Ponyblr' it was really strange, but it stop her from teasing him about his singing. Once Nimbus finish his song he insteadly notice that Tomato was in the crowed. He went to his friend as the crowed disbanded. "Hey, Tomato, how's your day?" Nimbus asked.
"Nothing much" he lied.
"Really you haven't tried making out with, Flora" Nimbus teased.
Tomato blushed "Who told you that."
"Cirrus."
Of course it's Cirrus she just can't stop messing with him "It wasn't my fault, a red pegasus came out of nowhere and pushed me into her, I was lucky we didn't kiss" Tomato said, while Nimbus laughs his wings off.
"Hey isn't that the same pegasus who sliced off your curly of yours."
"Oh yeah, I thought he look familiar before, and what's the diamond sword, I bet he could sell that for a ton of bits."
"Of course, but hey remember that blue unicorn that came out of nowhere and started scolding him."
"Yeah I remember her, she a few dorms away from my, but she's not in any of my classes."
Well of course you only take, like business classes Nimbus thought to himself. "Maybe you say hi, it could take your mind of the red pegasus or your broth-" Nimbus quickly cut himself, but it was too late Tomato are ready heard it. "Sorry I wasn't thinking."
"Let's just get back to my dorm."
"Sure."
So they walked back to Tomato's dorm, making small talk on how weird Tomato's day was such an strange one. Burping in front of one of your friends face and almost kissing her as well, Tomato was about to call it quits and waste the day, but he knew he had things to do, assignments to write, food to eat, seriously he forgot to get some food to eat while he was out. He planned to have what ever is left in his fridge. When they got to his dorm, Cirrus was waiting in front his dorm, holding a letter. "Hey, what took you so long?" Cirrus asked.
"Were you waiting here, why didn't you come find us and what's with the letter?" Nimbus asked.
"It's for, Tomato and it's why I been waiting here... also I couldn't slip the letter under your door" Cirrus said, causing Nimbus and Tomato to chuckle a bit. "Hey, Nimbus don't we have a perform later?" Cirrus asked, while Tomato grab the letter.
"Sweet, Celestia your right, we better get going" Nimbus said, dragging his twin and leaving Tomato alone.
Tomato sign as he walk into his room. He took a seat on his couch and the first thing he notice was it was form his colthood friend Bluejinx.

How's it going, it been a while I'm finally at my aunt's Purple place. I'm doing fine, but when I first got here there was ponies chanting around this pink pony, name Pinkamena. She soon cry and ran away from the crowed, I know confusing, right? And then, your brother came up to me to ask about Pinkamena and ran after her, and yes your brother Cheese. I couldn't believe it myself, he staying at a rock farm in Nickerlite. Cheese didn't recognize me first, but when I went to the farm, for clearly up rumors, he recognize me, and stay mostly silent, which means he's still mad. Anyways I wrapping it up here I don't want this letter to be to long.

Tomato couldn't believe want he was reading, he finally found where's his brother is. It been such a long time, and from the looks of it Cheese hasn't forgotten what happen all those years ago, but at least he's doing fine. He quickly grab a piece of paper and a quill and start righting a letter to his brother until there was a knot on the door. Once he answer the door, a bunch of poison joke flowers was toss on him, causing his hair to go spikey-like. The red pegasus who toss the flower ran shouting "I TOLD YOU I'LL BE BACK!" Tomato sign and went to go start up a bath to get rid of the poison joke, but at least it give him more time to think on his next plan.
