Chapter 1: Another Night Out

View Online

"Stop right there criminal scum!" Silver Wing, one of Celestia's royal guards called out to the running figure.

The figure didn't reply, instead just running faster.

"You shall not escape today, fiend." An earth pony guard called out, running next to Silver Wing.

The two royal guards chased the tall figure into an alleyway. They watched as the creature jumped over the fence in the alley. Of course the earth pony stopped dead in his track, but Silver Wing had other plans.

He opened his pegasus wings and did a large jump over the same fence, but instead, he continued using his wings, getting ever so closely towards the hooded figure. What he didn't see was a brick wall in front of the creature.

The two-legged creature the started climbing the wall at the last second, making Silver Wing hit head first on the wall, knocking him out instantly.

When the creature reach the top of the building, it looked down, showing a white grin at the unconscious pegasus. It then took off it's hoodie, showing it's blond hair atop of it's head, and it's brown colored cat ears. It then took out two envelopes, one being placed next to the sleeping royal guard, and the other being opened by the creature itself, pulling out a check, showing the two-hundred bits written on the check. It then started running over buildings, jumping over gaps between the building, then jumped off the last tall building, slowly transforming into a brown bird, flying into the moonlight.

~Back in the Alley~

"Sir! Sir, wake up." The same earth pony guard trying to wake up Silver Wing up.

"Uhh... Did we get her?" He asked groggily.

"I'm afraid not sir. She left another letter though." The stallion showed him the envelope.

Silver slowly got up, receiving the envelope. He then opened the letter, seeing the familiar hoof writing.

It said:

Dear Silver Wing,

Tonight's chase was really good, you almost got me there! That was a great chase, really pumped me up. Anyways, better luck next time Sil!

~Kotonaru

Silver then let out a low growl. "That damn monster is toying with me, dammit!" Silver then shredded the letter to pieces. "Sooner or later, I'll find where this 'things' hideaway and I'll finally become captain... Just like Shining." He said out loud.

"We should probably explain this to the princess." The earth pony placed his hoof on Silver's shoulder.

"Yeah. Fine, let's go."

The two then slowly walked out the alleyway into the streets of Canterlot. While they were walking to the castle, Silver was thinking of the wanted criminal he was assigned to; Kotonaru.

'I know I said this a million times, but what kind of name is Kotonaru? So far she's the most wanted in Canterlot and she doesn't even live here... not that I know of. We don't even know what she even is! Of course Princess Twilight said that the creature is called a human, but no human has a tail or ears like she does.'

Silver Wing was too into thought that he didn't notice that he was walking into the Canterlot Castle.

'I know that Celestia means well of this being, but sooner or later somepony has to take this mission and actually deal with this! Maybe Luna or Cadence can help capturing the creature. Their magic could- No! No, wait! Magic doesn't work on her. She's immune to it. No wonder why Celestia didn't assign any unicorns to capture her. Maybe we cou-'

Silver's thoughts were interrupted by a warm greeting from the white alicorn.

"Greetings Silver Wing and Iron Hoof." Celestia greeted.

"Greetings your Majes-"

"Huh? What?" Silver interrupted Iron Hoof. "Oh! Sorry, Princess. I was deep in thought." He explained.

"About a certain somepony?" Celestia asked with a little smirk.

"Yes, your Majesty." He answered.

"I know you’re thinking about little Kotonaru and your mission. And I'm going to explain about her and the mission." Celestia started. "It seems that in a few days, it's going to be a full year since she has arrived in Equestria and when she has been discovered. Of course many Canterlot mares and stallions have been complaining about this 'beast' running through this city and assassinating many ponies as well. And since I couldn't capture her, I had no other choice but to pass this mission to somepony else. Now I know many ponies don't like him, but he has a good mind in that thick head of his, but like I said, I had no other choice. So, I introduce your new leader, Prince Blueblood."

Right on cue, Blueblood entered the room, with his muzzle in the air, strutting in. He then sat next to Celestia, showing a devilish smirk.

"Hello Silver, Iron." Blueblood spoke. "I know that my dear aunt can't capture this monster with little guards and magic within her horn, but lucky for you, she had made the perfect choice of making me find a flawless plan to capture the 'thing'." He explained. "Anyways, without further ado, here's my flawless plan!"

~Somewhere in Canterlot~

The brown bird known as Kotonaru was flying towards an abandoned apartment building. She flew through the cracks, transforming back to her human self. She placed the check in a broken dresser, within the many other checks that consist of bits. She then put her bit-bag on the dresser itself, making it jingle a bit.

She then walked towards a chart, gabbing a pocket knife. She then crossed out a photo of a navy blue unicorn stallion. She eyed the many photos, most of them crossed out. She even had a photo of a white unicorn stallion with a blond mane. She got many request on that pony, but she knew that if she killed him, she would be in more trouble than before. She then placed the knife back on the desk, while sitting down on the chair in front of the furniture.

She then grabbed a notebook and a quill. Making sure to dip the quill in the now opened ink container, then started writing on a blank page.

Dear Journal,

Tonight has been another usual night. Getting another pony to assassin, getting paid beforehand, and doing my job to get the bits. Silver Wing caught me trying to steal some apples again, but like always, he never catches me. He just doesn't know about my special talent, but I want to keep it a secret from these ponies. It's about to be my birthday next Friday. My first birthday without my friends or family... It's going to be rather depressing this year, but my teacher always told me to keep my head high and not care about the little things. He was always smart and I'm going to miss his voice telling me what to do, one being that I graduated from his class and that I'm stuck in this pony-populated world. I also am trying to gather enough information on how I even got here in the first place. But it seems that all of the public libraries don't carry any advance magic. (Not that I have magic to take me back) Anyways, I got two-hundred bits out of taking out Blue Jay today. I strangely still have battery life on my phone, a full 100% and even the Wifi still works. It may be strange but I don't question it. Maybe I can listen to more music then get some rest. In the morning I'm going to go into the marketplace and gather more food. I've been getting a little low on food supply, maybe exchange one of the checks for more bits. I really don't know what to do with all these bits, but I won't splurge myself to look like some pimp, I still need to lay low. I know that Celestia is still on my tail, so I need to take a few days off. I hope that prissy princess will just give up already! I've never been caught ever, and even if I did, I'd find a way out. Like always. Until next time.

She then placed the quill next to the close journal and pushed both items in the back of the desk. She got up from the desk, and started walking towards her bed, when she saw an envelope slip through the bedroom door and the knocking started.

"Kotonaru! Another for you." A voice called out behind the door.

She then walked over, picking up the envelope, then opened the door, showing a pegasus stallion. He had a cow-like pattern on his coat, his natural white coat with a brown pattern. He also has brown eyes and a short main cut pointing upwards. The stallions name is Scribble Smooch. He was the one that found Kotonaru when she arrived in Equestria. Without him, Kotonaru would've been lost about everything. Scribble was kind enough to lead her to the building she's living in and teaching her about Equestria and trying to survive. But even through all the weeks being together, Scribble still doesn't know about her secret.

All Kotonaru did was give a nod saying thank you.

"Still not talking?" Scribble asked.

Kotonaru nodded.

"And you’re not going to tell me how you even got in your room without letting me notice?"

Another nod.

Scribble let out a small sigh. "You know, even though you’re only with me cause I'm your buddy in business, you’re really my only friend... You can tell me anything, I won't judge." He explained. "Anyways, if you need me, I'll be in my room and if you’re going to bed, night."

Kotonaru nodded in understanding. She then waved bye, and then closed the door behind her.

Back in the hallway, Scribble let out another sigh. "Sooner or later, you’re going to have to speak your mind and give up on this assassin thing." He said to himself.

In the bedroom, Kotonaru was eyeing the letter in her hands, wondering if she should wait until the morning or just open it now... She decided to open the envelope now.

She used her nails to open the envelope and saw the fancy hoof writing. She then started reading.

Dear Kotonaru,

I have heard about your 'job' and sent this letter to ask you to 'erase' somepony for me. His name is Brace Relay. He's the son of one of my former rivals. His father loves him dearly, so I need you to take his son out. For revenge. If you do this successfully, you'll be rewarded greatly. Here's an image of what the colt looks like. He'll be coming to Canterlot tomorrow with his dad. They’re staying the night at Black Stallion Hotel near the Canterlot Castle. His room number is 69. Don't dissapoint me.

There was no name at the end just some ink blots. Kotonaru took a look at the photo, seeing that the colt looked about eight and seeing the wheels attached to his waist. Showing that he was disabled. The colt has a light blue coat with a red main that had a flame style to it. She also saw that his cutie mark was a checkered flag that was on fire. This was actually the first time she had to kill a kid... or filly in pony terms.

She didn't know why, but Kotonaru had a nagging feeling in the back of her head, telling her to not do this. But if she didn't do it, this'll be the first time she ever refused to do a mission. She started getting a headache.

She decided to just wait till tomorrow to decide on to accepting the mission or not. She placed the letter on the desk, then pinned the photo on the wall of many other photos. She then walked over to her cheap looking bed, pulling the handmade cover over her, then slowly fell asleep.

She had nightmares.

~Back at the Castle~

"So. As we speak, that monster is reading the fake letter I sent to wherever that thing lives.

Giving information on who to assassinate, and where the victim is staying at; since she only strikes at night. I know that she won't refuse this offer. She never refuses a mission. So when she arrives at the bedroom, that's when we'll strike. Capturing the beast, and executing the thing once and for all." Blueblood explained his plan.

Of course the plan was actually a good enough plan. But Celestia didn't like the last part of it.

"Well, cousin? The plan is great, and I'm really thankful that you thought of it." Celestia complimented. "But, I don't think we need to execute Kotonaru. We haven't done this since- well before Luna had become Nightmare Moon."

"Oh, dear aunty. You’re too soft, that beast has killed many of your citizens and you’re going to just scold the thing then set it free?" Blueblood asked.

"I actually have a plan for her, but should she not err in her ways, then you may execute the creature." Celestia answered.

"Well... alright aunt Celestia. So what is your plan to change this creature?" Blueblood made the quotation mark with his hooves as he asked.

"I'm glad you ask my dear cousin."

Chapter 2: Afternoon Doings

View Online

As the sun shined through the cracks of the plank-covered windows, bits of the sun gleamed on the sleeping human, aggravating her within her peaceful slumber. With a groan of frustration, the teen awoke from her slumber, slowly rising into a sitting position. She let out a loud yawn, while stretching. She then got off the bed, getting ready for her afternoon out.

She walked over to a simple dresser, taking out a new outfit (which was exactly the same) and a new pair of shoes with a pair of socks. She then took a towel and a bar of soap and went to the bathroom.

After she cleaned herself off and brushed her teeth, she took out a black cloak from within the dresser, and put it on. Of course the cloak was way too small for her, but she didn't care.

She then left her room, going down the hall, past Scribble's room, and as she walked out, she slowly started shrinking and changing shape. When she walked out the door of the abandoned building, she was now walking on all four, showing hooves than hands or feet.

She then looked at her new appearance, seeing her tan hooves and a lock of her blond mane. Looking up she saw a horn of the same color of her coat poking out her mane. After she made sure that everything was as it should be, she then started walking to the cobblestone path to the town square, where the marketplace was being held.

As she walked down the path, she started thinking of what to get. 'Okay, so I should get some water, fruits, vegetable, meat for myself, and maybe some sweets and drinks. Maybe I should get something special for Scribble. He's been so sweet and I feel kinda bad for not thanking him. Too bad that I can't speak and no one knows sign language around here. Where was I? Oh! Right shopping. So food, water, maybe sweets and soft drinks, and a gift for Scribble.' She then started thinking of other things; one being Celestia and her mission to catch her. 'When will Celestia just give up and leave me be? I know I kill her ponies for money, but it's not like anyone would hire a freak like me. I'm just so different. I thought that maybe I could be accepted somewhere new... sadly not. It's just like Earth. Me being an outcast.' Of course her thinking of this negative subject, she didn't notice a stallion running right towards her.

"Oof!" They both got knocked over, making Kotonaru spill her bits and gems. She was planning on selling them for bit in case she was low on money.

"Watch where your-" The stallion stopped when they met eye. "Er- sorry. Must've not seen where I was going." He said, but obviously knew that it was the mare's fault for not looking.

Kotonaru just nodded in understanding.

Kotonaru saw that the stallion was grey pegasi with two-toned mane, her front was a dark blue and her back was neon instead. His tail was also neon blue, he had blue eyes as well. Kotonaru also saw that his Cutie Mark was of a upside-down blue lighting over a white cloud.

"Let me help you up." He brought his hoof towards Kotonaru, her grabbing on and being brought up.

"Are you alright?" He gave a concerned face.

'No! I'm being hunted down by your ruler and her girly guards!' Kotonaru just nodded.

"Oh, okay." He then started gathering Kotonaru's bits and gems. He swept the bits and gems with his wings, gathering them up in a pile. "May I have your bit-bag?" He showed his hoof.

Kotonaru quickly levitated her (sorta) empty bag, showing her blue aura on her horn and the bag itself. Of course it wasn't real magic, she was actually visualizing her handing him the bag, and so this happens.

"Thanks." The stallion then brought the pile of bits and gems to the bag and placed them inside.

Kotonaru just nodded as the pegasi as he hoofed her the bit-bag.

"Again, I'm sorry." Again he apologized. "I was just on my way to my hotel to make sure my sons okay." He explained. "He's, how should I say, very special. Anyways, I need to go, bye!" The pegasi then dashed off, disappearing within the crowd.

'Okay? That was odd. Most of the time the mare or stallion would just yell at me then stomp away... Oh well; mustn't be from here.' Kotonaru assumed. She then walked up to a apple stand, where a red stallion with an orange mane was running the stand.

~

Kotonaru was now carrying bags full of fruits, vegetable, and some meat slabs. She made sure the meat was at the bottom so no one would see it if anyone wanted to check her bag. Kotonaru then noticed the same stallion that she bumped into waving for her attention. Kotonaru the trotted up, She didn't know why, but she liked to trot.

"Hey unicorn mare! A coincidence that we saw each other again, pretty silly." The stallion said.

Kotonaru then gave a small smile.

"Me and my son were about to get something to eat tonight. Would you like to join?" He asked.

Kotonaru just shrugged.

"Oh, well. I see that you probably need to get back home to drop your things off, but if you wanna join, we'll be dining at Verdant Fields. You should come around eight or so. By the way, names Swift Wing." He then trotted off, making his tail and mane bounce.

Kotonaru watched as the stallion went down the opposite way from the abandoned building in which she lived in. When Swift Wing was out of sight, she thought over on weather she should go or not.

'On one point I could always just ignore the invite and wait for nightfall to come, or maybe I can go and maybe make new friend other than Scribble Smooch... Maybe.' She finally arrived to the front of the building. Before going inside, she checked if anyone was around... none.

She then opened the door and walked inside, transforming back to her (sorta) human form, walking right past Scribble's room which the door was wide open.

'Maybe I should go. I need some fresh air and maybe some good food in my system. I need a little break from hiding in the shadows for once.' For the first time, she actually had a real smile on her face.

'I should get ready.' Kotonaru then ran to the bathroom, closing the door behind her as she got ready.

~A few Hours Later~

Kotonaru was now ready. She still wore her regular clothes, but when she turns into an Equine, her mane and tail were done, and her coat was much brighter than before. She didn't have any gowns so she had to dress casual, a.k.a, still naked.

She looked through the boards of the window, seeing that the sun was slowly setting, meaning that she had to go. Jumping out a broken window, she shape-shifted into a cat, landing on her paws. After she mad sure she didn't sprain anything due to the fall, she started running towards Verdant Fields, wondering on what might be at that fancy restaurant. She never went there due to staying hidden in Canterlot.

The sun finally set, showing the moonlight shine over the city. The beautiful sight put her at ease. She always wondered why everyone hated Princess Luna's night. It was truly a sight to see. When she was a block away, she dove near an alleyway, shape-shifting into the pony Swift Wing met.

Coming closer, she saw the blue stallion in the front, looking back in forth. After he caught his eye on Kotonaru, she showed a warm smile.

"Greetings, unicorn mare!" You ready to go inside? My son's inside waiting for us." He said.

Kotonaru just nodded.

"Let's go." Swift Wing opened the door for Kotonaru, making her blush a bit at the hospitality.

When they were inside, Kotonaru saw that the place is huge inside. There were so many round tables, and even some in the walls with curtains for privacy.

When we arrived to our table, Kotonaru saw that the little pony's face was blocked by the large menu book.

"Relay, can you put the menu down and greet this lovely mare?" Swift told the young pony.

'Wait, Relay?' That name sounded familiar, but she didn't know where.

The kid then put the menu down, making me see someone I didn't.

The colt was Brace Relay, my latest target.

"Uh, mam'? Why are you starring at me like that?" Relay asked, snapping me out of my stunned trance.

Kotonaru just brought her head down, showing that she was sorry for the starring.

"Anyways!" Swift Wing got everyone's attention. "Let's take a seat, shall we."

Kotonaru nodded in agreement. Sitting herself down and looking through the menu.

She couldn't help but watch the colt next to her, seeing his 'condition' in real life. But she would always look away when she felt she was starring too long.

"You know," Swift Wing spoke. "I still didn't get your name." He eyed Kotonaru.

All Kotonaru did was zip her mouth shut, showing a playful smile.

"Oh? Keeping it a secret shall we?" Swift said. "Oh well. I guess we need to get to know each other longer for that secret to come out."

Kotonaru just returned to looking through the menu.

~

As the night continued, Swift told Kotonaru all about himself and Relay. How they live in Ponyville, what he does for a living, and even how he met the mare of his dreams. (Him being married)

At first Kotonaru was confused at him inviting her for dinner, but she just assumed that he just wanted to be friends. Her assumptions being correct later on.

When the dinner was finally over, they went there separate ways, Kotonaru returning back to the apartment building.

When she changed back to her human self, she just stared into the broken mirror in her room. Thinking of what to do now.

'It's so confusing! Should I? Shouldn't I? Why did I have to accept that invite!? I'm so stupid! Your suppose to stay hidden from the crowd! Not go on some dumb get-together! Ugh! This is why Teacher told me to not do that!'

Kotonaru jumped on her bed, making it squeak at the pressure. 'Of all nights, why tonight!?' Kotonaru groaned in anger.

'Ugh! Snap out of it! It was just a friendly dinner! I know that my Teacher would just do his job and forget about it. Keep moving foreword!'

Kotonaru then got off her bed, getting ready to do her job. She only grabbed a necklace and her phone with her solar-charger from the dresser and went out the window, showing no emotion as she sneaked through the shadows.

~

"Hey Dad?" Relay asked, him being tucked in one of the hotel beds.

"Yes?" Swift said.

"Why do you think that mare was starring at me?" The colt asked.

"I don't know. Maybe she wants to be your friend but is just too afraid to ask." Swift assumed.

"Maybe next time I'll ask her instead. Maybe she's really nice." Relay said.

"Yeah... maybe." Swift said. "Now get some rest. After my meeting we can return back to Ponyville. You can catch up with Scootaloo when we return."

"Okay, Dad. Night!" Relay shouted.

"Night." Swift then closed the door behind him, one of the royal guards in front of him.

"He's going to sleep." Swift said to the guard.

"Thank you, why don't you get some rest yourself." The guard said.

"Okay, but you better promise that Relay won't be harmed. Got it?" Swift gave the guard a menacing glare, it not effecting the guard.

"I swore on Celestia's sun that he won't be hurt in any way." The guard saluted.

"Okay, I'm going to bed now." Swift then went to the other room, closing the door behind him as the darkness covered his equine body.

~

When Kotonaru finally reached the Black Stallion Hotel, she noted that most of the room lights were off, indicating that very few ponies are still awake. Kotonaru then located the window to room 69, ignoring the silly pun in her head. She looked through the window, seeing the sleeping colt on the bed, his messy mane all over the place.

But before she could even open the window, she felt a huge wave of pain in one of her arms, she looked down to see that there was a throwing knife in her arm, thankfully not going through it. She turned her head to see an array of royal guards around her.

'How did I not see them!?' Kotonaru thought as she kept eye on the guards.

"Ms. Kotonaru. Please cooperate and get off the Hotel!" One of the guards shouted.

'Not without a fight!' Kotonaru then jumped off the building, rolling onto a nearby buildings rooftop. The guards seeing her try to escape, the winged guards started giving chase.

As Kotonaru continued running on the rooftops, the guards started gaining up on her, but at the last second, Kotonaru jumped in one of the alley's, shifting her hand to a knife and scraping down the brick wall.

That caught the guards by surprise, making them stop and stumble upon each other. The guards behind of course followed Kotonaru, diving down the alleyway for her.

When Kotonaru was close enough, she jumped off the wall into the pavement and started running once more. She turned her head just in time to see a pegasi dashing towards her, she ducked right when the pegasus flew past her, making Kotonaru turn a different direction.

Kotonaru then kept on running, very few moments when she looked back to see if any would catch up to her. But she was so into losing the guards that she didn't see somepony far more powerful getting ready to cast a spell, but when she noticed, it was too late.

The spell hit her directly on the face, at first she thought she was unaffected, but a huge wave of tiredness washed over her, making her slow down.

Behind her the guards stopped giving chased and just watched the spell take effect.

She then just stopped running, just standing in place, before she fell to her knees and making her face meet ground. Everything then just went dark.

~3rd Person P.O.V.~

When Kotonaru was finally knocked out, most of the guards showed smiles of joy, knowing that there most well-known criminal was finally caught. A white Alicorn, known as Celestia, flew down to where Kotonaru was laying. She used her magic to make restraints on her arms. She then levitated the unconscious human to her back and turned to her guards.

"Gentlecolts." She called out, snapping everypony to attention. "I now report this operation a success!"

That made everypony cheer.

"Now if you don't mind, It is time to start Operation: Reformation." Celestia said. Then, without another word, she teleported out of the street, into her castle. She then gently placed the unconscious human in the cell.

"I hope they may change your ways and make you see your errors within your life." Celestia said.

She then summoned a quill and parchment, writing with her levitation, and then sending it off in a green wisp.

"May Faust help this poor soul." Celestia said as she left the dungeon, the moonlight being the only source of light within the cell wall that Kotonaru is now resting in.

~3rd Person P.O.V.~
~Time: 1:23 P.M.~

"Spike!"

A large female shout erupted from within the Golden Oaks Library, startling some of the nearby citizens that heard this. Inside the Tree-House (House-Tree?) was a frantic-looking Alicorn mare, this is Twilight Sparkle, an ex-student of Princess Celestia and one of the bearers of the Elements of Harmony.

This mare was looking through a used parchment, her nervousness rising by the second. As she was rereading the letter, a tiny Dragon walked into the room, the dragon rubbing the sluggishness from his eyes, this is Spike, the number one assistant of Twilight Sparkle, the mare herself hatching the egg he was born in.

"What is it Twilight?" The tiny Dragon asked.

"Oh! Spike! Thank goodness your here." Twilight said.

"What do you mean? I'm always here..." The now confused Spike said.

"Never mind! I need your help in gathering my friends." Twilight explained.

"And you need them why?" Spike asked.

"I recently got a letter informing me that she needs all the Element Bearers at Canterlot Castle at once. She said a chariot will be arriving at 2 in the afternoon." Twilight answered.

"Oh okay. Who do you want me to get?" Spike asked.

"I need you to get Fluttershy and Rarity while I get Rainbow, AJ, and Pinkie." Twilight said.

"Okay!" At that, both the Alicorn Princess and Baby Dragon went their separate ways, one Flying towards the clouds while the other runs through the town.

~P.O.V. Twilight Sparkle~

As I was flying through the clouds, I looked at every one I passed by to see if Rainbow was napping atop any of them. After I searched with no results, I arrived at her cloud home, knocking at the door lightly.

No response.

I knocked again, this time quicker and I bit more force.

Still no response.

"Rainbow!?" I called out.

"Wha-"

"AHHH!" I quickly jumped to a random cloud, gripping on it with my hooves. I looked down to see the Rainbow manned pegasus looking up at me with confusion. "Rainbow! Don't scare me like that!"

"I wasn't panning on doing so." The blue mare replied.

"Ugh. Anyways, Rainbow, I need you to get AJ for me and meet me and the other girls at the Library." I explained to her.

"Why?" She asked.

"There's no time to explain, I'll tell everypony back at the Library. Now go!" I said.

"Right! I'm on it." And then without another word, the blue pegasus flew towards Sweet Apple Acers.

"Now to get Pinkie." I mumbled to myself as I flew back towards the cobblestone road and galloped to the sugar coated bakery.

As I went through the front entrance, I was greeted my some bows from some of the ponies within the shop.

"T-theirs no need to bow everypony. I'm just a local resident, just like you." I said. At that, the ponies stopped bowing and went back to whatever they were doing before my arrival.

I walked up to the cash register, seeing that Mr. Cake was running it today.

"Oh! Hello your Majesty, what a pleasant surprise. What can I do for you?" Mr. Cake greeted me in a polite tone.

"Theirs no need for 'Your Majesty', Mr. Cake. I'm just here to get Pinkie Pie." I explained.

"Oh, well I'm sorry your maj-I mean Ms. Sparkle, but Pinkie left here not even a few minutes ago. She said something about a meeting. Is that why your here to pick her up?" Mr. Cake explained.

"Well, yeah. How did she know?" I asked.

"Pinkie said something about her Pinkie Sense before she left." Mr. Cake answered.

'Of course.' I thought. "Thank you anyways Mr. Cake. Have a good day." I called out as I left the bakery.

"Same to you Ms. Sparkle." He replied.

As I walked back to the library I just kept on thinking how she even knows this stuff. Then I just said the obvious.

"It's just Pinkie being Pinkie."

~P.O.V. Spike~

As I sprinted towards the Carousel Boutique, I kept on thinking what would the Princess need all the Element Bearers for.

'Hmm... Did Chrysalis return? Maybe Sombra... Or maybe Nightmare Moon returned having her own body!'

With these questions in my mind, I ran faster, getting some confused looks from some ponies walking by.

When I reached the Boutique, I knocked on the door, calling out Rarity's name as I knocked. The one who answered the door was Sweetie Belle.

"Oh! Hey Spike! What are you doing here?" The little unicorn filly asked.

"Hi Sweetie Belle. I was just wondering if Rarity is here. Twilight wants her at the Library asap." I explained.

"I'm sorry Spike, but Rarity went to the Spa with Fluttershy a half an hour ago. Maybe she's still there." Sweetie Belle replied.

"Okay Sweetie Belle. Thanks for letting me know. See ya!" I waved goodbye as I ran opposite from the Boutique. I was quite lucky today due to the two mares I needed to gather being at the same place. As Pinkie says: Eat Two Cupcakes in One Bite.

~A Few Minutes Later~

I finally arrived at the Spa. I opened the front door, being greeted by the ringing of a bell. I walked up to the front counter, seeing a pink coated earth pony with a blue sleek mane.

"Oh! Hello Spike. What can I do for you?" The mare asked.

"I'm here to see Rarity and Fluttershy please." I said.

"Yes. Follow me." The mare said, leaving the front counter and guiding me to the large tub in the center of the Spa room. I walked up the stairs to see the white unicorn mare and the yellow pegasus that I needed.

"Excuse me, Ms. Rarity?" The pink mare called out.

"Hmm? Oh! Why if it isn't my Spikie-Wikie." Rarity called out, making me blush at the cute nickname she made for me.

"Hi Rarity. Hey Fluttershy. Twilight needs you two at the Library." I said.

"For what reason, Darling?" Rarity asked.

"She got a letter from Celestia stating that she need all the Element Bearers at the Castle now." I explained.

"Oh, okay. I guess we have to cut this Spa day short. Come on Fluttershy." Rarity then got out the Tub, the timid mare following her.

I waited as both mares dried off and paid for their session at the front.

With me on Rarity's back, we quickly trotted to the wooden Library.

~P.O.V. Rainbow Dash~

While I was flying through the clouds, I was still wondering on why Twilight needs all of us at the Library.

'Maybe another thing from Celestia.' I assumed.

When I made it to the Farm house, I decided on not going inside, knowing that the farm mare is outside working. I looked through the orchard, seeing some apple trees free of apple and others still having a few on the branch. I finally found AJ bucking a thick tree atop of a hill.

"Hay AJ!" I called out, getting the farm mare's attention.

"What up, sugarcube?" AJ asked.

"Hey, I know your still working, but Twilight wants us to meet at her place." I explained.

"What fer?" AJ asked.

"I really don't know, but she said she'll explain it when we get there. I just assume that it has to do with Celestia." I said.

"Alright. But Ah still need to gather these apples here." AJ said.

"You need any help?" I asked.

"I'll appreciate that, thank you." She said as both me and her grabbed a basket and carried it to a carriage nearby. I helped Applejack get hooked up to the carriage and walked with her to the farm house.

After we made sure to gather everything, both of us galloped towards the Library.

~A Few Minutes Later~

When we finally arrived, I saw that both Pinkie and Twilight were already there. I looked to the right to see Rarity, Fluttershy and Spike walk up to the Library itself.

~3rd Person P.O.V.~

When all the Elements arrived to the Library Twilight was too busy rereading the letter again.

"Um, Twilight?" Fluttershy spoke.

"Hmm? Oh! Sorry, So is everypony here?" Twilight asked, seeing that everypony was here.

"Uh, yeah. Anyways, why are we even here? Not that I was busy or anything." Rainbow Dash asked.

"Well, it seems that their was a very dangerous criminal in Canterlot," Twilight started.

"Was?" Applejack questioned.

"I'm getting to that. Anyways, it seems that last night they successfully captured the criminal but Celestia want us to help to reform her." Twilight finished.

"It's a mare?" Rarity asked.

"Yeah, but the one thing is that this mare isn't a mare." Twilight said.

"Huh?" Rainbow was confused.

"What I mean is that this criminal isn't a pony." Twilight said.

"Is it a griffon?" Fluttershy asked.

"No." Twilight answered.

"Is it a minotaur?" Rarity asked.

"No." Twilight said again. "And she's not even a Diamond Dog."

"Then what is it?" Pinkie asked.

"She says that she's a human, but at the same time, she isn't." Twilight said. "Celestia wrote that it looks like a human, but has cat ears and a tail."

"So these 'humans' don't have cat ears and tail?" Rainbow asked.

"No. Nopony that I saw through the portal had these." Twilight admitted.

But before anypony could ask anything else, Spike pointed out the two chariot's from the sky. As the two chariots landed, all six of the mares got inside, Twilight waving goodbye as the chariots took off, leaving the whole town behind.

"Hey Twilight?" Pinkie called to her, being in the same chariot as the purple mare.

"Yes, Pinkie?" Twilight asked.

"Do you think this criminal is dangerous?" Pinkie asked.

"Why of course Pinkie. If this criminal wasn't dangerous, she wouldn't be a criminal." Twilight answered.

"I know that! But do you think she's dangerous?" Pinkie asked.

"Well, Celestia told me she was the most wanted, since she was an assassin. So I think she's dangerous either way." Twilight explained.

Pinkie just stood silent, at first looking like she was thinking of a reply, but she just went back to looking out the chariot.

~Many Minutes Later~

When they finally arrived at the Castle, they were greeted by both Celestia and Luna.

"Welcome Twilight and friends." Celestia greeted.

"Tis wonderful for thee to arrive at this hour." Luna said in her royal tongue.

"Hello, Princesses." Twilight greeted, bowing down to the two rulers.

"Twilight, theirs no need to bow. Same to you five as well." Celestia said, making the six arise from their bows. "Of course I assume that Twilight has informed you all about why your here."

"Yes Princess. About the captured criminal?" Twilight asked.

"Exactly. Now follow me if you please." Celestia said.

At that, everypony except Luna followed Celestia through the castle. They went though many hallways and finally arrived at a black door with two royal guards beside it. Celestia opened the door with her magic, covering the doors with her golden aura, as they walked inside, they saw that their was barely any ponies in the cells.

They walked deep within the dungeon, knowing that as they go deeper, the anti-magic spell gets stronger. They finally arrived to a large cell, they saw that their was a pair of magic cuffs colored in a golden aura on the floor. At first they assumed that the criminal escaped, but they saw a large figure in one of the shaded corners.

"Kotonaru, show yourself." Celestia commanded.

Their was no response, but the figure didn't move.

"Fine, if you won't come out, I'll make you." Celestia's horn glowed, the aura wrapping around some part of the figure, it being one the cat ears. With a light tug, the figure started moving, still not making a sound.

When the figure was finally revealed, most of the ponies gasped a little, seeing the terrible state she was in, and the look she gave.

It was a look of hatred.

~Kotonaru's P.O.V.~

I watched at the new six mares were watching me, both in disgust and fear. Oh well, they got the right to. I took a closer look at the six mares, seeing that one was an Alicorn, one was a Unicorn, two of them were Pegasus' and the two left were regular earth ponies.

I then figured out that these might be the Bearers of the Elements of Harmony. No wonder they seemed quite familiar, they were in the papers for quite some time. Even the Alicorn being crowned the Princess of Friendship. Ugh!

'Bet they brought them to dispose of me.' I assumed.

The yellow pegasus then spoke.

"Oh, you poor thing." She then started walking towards me, but was stopped by the orange earth pony, making her step back to where she was first standing.

The other pegasi then hovered closer to my cell, probably getting a closer look of me.

"Wow. You really got her bad, Princess." She said.

In a childish way, I stick my tongue at her. The mare retorted with the same action.

"Rainbow, cut it out!" The purple mare said.

'Rainbow, huh? I would have never guessed.' I thought sarcastically, eyeing the mares rainbow mane and tail.

"As you can see, she's been though a lot." Celestia explained. "I have a feeling that her past life has corrupted her, making her what she is today."

"So what do you want us to do? Punish it?" Rainbow asked.

"No. I want you to do something more important than that. I want you six to do what you did to Discord. I want you to Reform her."

"What!?" All the other mares shouted except for the pink earth pony.

"Yay! I new friend!" Pinkie shouted, throwing confetti in the air.

"Woah, woah, woah! What makes you think that we're gunna reform an assassin?" The rainbow-maned pegasus asked.

'I think I'll call you skittles.' I thought as I looked at the blue mare.

"I have to agree with rainbow; for all we know she could escape and or attack the other citizens of Ponyville." The white unicorn mare commented.

'I'll call her Marshmallow.' I thought as I started craving the said sweet.

"And theirs no way in sam's hill that ah'll make it come anywhere by my farm." The orange pony said.

'She's gunna be called... I don't know.' I shrugged.

"Y-yes, I know that she has been rather... dangerous." Celestia said. "But that's what I thought about Discord, and now look where he is."

"Sh-she does have a point." The yellow mare mumbled, but was loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Yeah! And I think the one problem is cause she got no friends!" The pink pony said. "A friend will help a friend in need! Wanna cupcake?" the pink earth pony randomly said, showing a cupcake to me.

'I like her. Maybe I'll call her Pinkie.' I tried to reach for the cupcake, but a purple aura engulfed it and it floated away, letting me make a small whimper.

"Pinkie, don't feed the criminals." The purple alicorn said.

'Huh? So her name is Pinkie. Who knew? But I still want my cupcake!' I tried to reach it, but the mare just backed away. 'Your my least favorite.'

"I think she needs this." Celestia said, the aura around the cupcake now being a nice yellow. The cupcake then was in arms reach and I quickly grabbed it, nibbling on it.

"Sheesh! She isn't no criminal." Skittles said, making me a bit ticked off.

"I-I don't think you should-" I heard the purple alicorn's voice speak.

"Relax Twilight. This ain't no deadly moster! Just a-"

I then snapped, quickly taking a sharp bar from the inside, yanked the blue pegasus, and placed the sharp bar on her neck. She was flailing, but I didn't lose my grip.

"You still think she isn't dangerous?" Twilight asked, smugness in her tone.

"I-I take it back! Your super dangerous!" At that, I let go of Skittles, tossing the bar behind me and not noticing that it made an indent on the wall.

"Anyways, can you at least try to reform her in Ponyville?" Celestia asked.

"No way, no how! She nearly killed me!" Rainbow shouted.

"Um, excuse me princess. But, um, what will happen to Kotonaru if we can't reform her?" the yellow pegasus asked.

"If you six are unable to reform Kotonaru... she will be executed fro her crimes." When those words came out, everyone became a bit pale.

"E-executed?" the other Alicorn repeats.

'Damn! I can't be killed yet! I still need to fulfill my-no wait! I have no wishes to fulfill! But I'm still not gonna die!' I thought as the other five mares calmed down on the plan of what they'll do to me.

"E-even though Kotonaru killed lots of ponies, I wouldn't want her to be killed." the little pegasus spoke her mind.

"I'm with Shy here, assassinating ponies is not cool, but killing the killer in return doesn't make them any better." Skittles said.

'Skittles just upped her like-o-meter!' I thought as a smiled at Skittles herself.

"Do you think you can reform Kotonaru now?" Celestia asked.

At first no one spoke, then I heard a meek voice.

"Y-yes..." It was the yellow pegasus.

"I wanna befriend Ko-ko as well!" Pinkie speaks next.

"I think that maybe we can at least try." the purple mare says.

"M-maybe we can reform her. And while we're at it, I can make new clothes for her!" Rarity speaks after awhile.

"Well... alright, but like ah said before, she ain't goin' near mah farm." the cowpony said. "An' if she even places a hoof on anypony, ya can forget it!"

"Same here!" Skittles said. "If she hurts anypony, she'll get a beating of a lifetime!"

'Like those two can hurt me...' I thought as the six were set on reforming me. I then decided on letting them know about my little 'injury'.

I tapped Pinkies back, making the earth pony turn her head completely around.

"What's wrong Ko-ko?" Pinkie asked.

All I did was point at the back of my shoulder.

"Something you wanna show me?" Pinkie asked another question.

I nodded, turning myself around to show her the knife stabbed into my shoulder. I heard a loud gasp from the pink pony, probably getting the other's attention.

"Fluttershy, do you think you can fix that?" I heard the voice of Celestia ask.

"I-I think I can..." The pegasus' voice says.

'This might take awhile.' I thought to myself, getting myself ready for the pain that will come soon enough.
