> Plushie > by Hardline Potato > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Plushie > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "ARGH!" Sweetie Belle cried as she yet again failed to lift up the broom from its spot with her magic. She felt her neck crack slightly as the broom fell onto the floor. It had been about five weeks since the incident with the whole school, along with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, and the Crusaders have been spending most of their time to get more used to their activities so they could finally show those two wannabe Spice Mares who's boss. Unfortunately, Sweetie Belle nor Scootloo or Apple Bloom successfully got the whole thing right. Sweetie stomped her hoof in frustration as her face began to turn red. Her eyes were full of anger. "Why can't I ever get this right?!" She said to herself as she walked towards the fallen broom, kicking the handle hard with her hoof. She yelped before staring at the broom once again in anger. "Ah, it's okay, Sweetie Belle," She heard Scootaloo say a few feet beside her as the pegasus tried to arrange the parts to the unicycle. Various screws lied next to her as she took the screwdriver into her mouth, attempting to tighten one of the screws connected to the seat. "You'll get it soon." Her voice was muffled due to the tool in her mouth. "Yeah," Apple Bloom suddenly said in her safety goggles as she held one of the flasks containing a strange purple liquid where small droplets fell onto a small cup from below. "Like Twilight said, these things take time." Sweetie Belle pouted as she looked back and forth from the broom to her friends. "I know, I know," she said, looking down. "It's just that, I want to show Rarity and Twilight that I can use my magic correctly without messing everything up!" She stared at Scootaloo and Apple Bloom, whom were staring back at their upset and slightly angry friend and smiled. "Oh, cheer up, Sweetie!" Scootaloo said, showing a bit of enthusiasm as she grinned. "You'll accomplish your goal soon! Just like I am going to rebuild this unicycle!" She lifted up the wheel of the unicycle and whooped. "Just like ah'm going ta make this special growin' potion!" Apple Bloom said as she felt up the flask of the purple liquid. "Growing potion?" The two other fillies asked in confusion. "What in Equestria are you gonna do with that?" "Well," Apple Bloom started. "Applejack said that our crops are not growin' as much apples as they used too. So ah'm makin' this special here ta make our apple trees grow stronger and produce more apples fer the winter." The two other fillies blinked and rolled their eyes, knowing that this would obviously fail and would probably turn the trees into monsters or grow oranges instead. "Let's just hope that our trees don't get sick like that plant did a few weeks ago." The three fillies started to giggle as they heard hoofsteps coming from the upper floor, and there was Twilight, looking down at the Crusaders with a smile. "Hello girls. How's everything going so far?" "Good!" The three fillies replied in unison as they watched the princess walk down the stairs and look at their progress. As she walked towards Sweetie Belle, who was still upset, she looked at the fallen broom and look at the unicorn filly with concern. "Is everything okay, Sweetie Belle?" Sweetie Belle sighed as she looked up at the alicorn princess. "No, Twilight," She said. "Everything's not alright! No matter how hard I try, I can't get this stupid broom to move!" She stomped her hoof in anger once again and pouted. Twilight frowned as she listened to the Crusader and ruffled her mane a bit. "Don't worry, your magic will be great soon, but you girls have been working all afternoon, how about we take a break?" Scootaloo and Apple Bloom nodded as they arranged their items together, placing them safely where nopony would get hurt and walked with Twilight towards the kitchen, Sweetie, however, stayed behind and walked towards Apple Bloom's cup of potion and looked behind, making sure nopony was coming into the room. "Hm," She said as she rubbed her chin. "Maybe I should try lifting up Apple Bloom's potion and see if I can levitate it, let's just hope nothing happens." She gulped as she made her horn glow a bright green aura and focused on the cup of potion. It began to float slightly as Sweetie struggled to lift it up, she groaned as she used her magic as hard as she can and slowly, the cup began to float. Sweetie smiled a happy grin and squealed in delight, knowing that she could do something with her magic correctly. She looked behind and began yelling across the room where the kitchen was and said, "Scootaloo! Apple Bloom! Twilight! You gotta see this!" She said as distinct hofsteps echoed throughout the room. When the three ponies came into the room, Sweetie heard them gasped in surprise mixed with horror and began to beg Sweetie to put the cup down. "Sweetie Belle, put that down now! You don't know what could happen if the potion hit you!" Twilight said as she fly towards Sweetie Belle, a hoof in front of her in order to catch the cup. As Twilight was about to grab the potion, her right front hoof bumped the glass and the magic surrounding it was disabled and began to fall towards the small white filly below. Sweetie screamed loudly as some drops of liquid fell onto her body. The liquid burned a little as it reached Sweetie's body and released a sigh of relief, knowing that she'll be okay. She watched the cup fall onto the wooden library floor and break into tiny pieces. Sweetie wiped her sweaty forehead and noticed that Scootaloo, Apple Bloom, and Twilight staring at her in anger. "Sweetie Belle!" Apple Bloom glaring as she yelled at her friend. "Ah worked on that potion fer hours and you just ruined it! Now I have mix up a new one!" "I'm sorry, App-" Sweetie Belle began to say before getting a strange feeling in her body, she began to gag and fell onto the floor. That's when she noticed that her forelegs and hindlegs were beginning to shrink. It hurt a lot as Sweetie yelled for help from her friends. Twilight used her magic to stop the potion from working but failed as Sweetie's tail and mane, along with her body, have various stitches on them. Her eyes began to change as well, along with her horn. Sweetie began to float in the air as the mysterious changes in her body were beginning to fade as she floated down towards the ground. She felt different and noticed that the whole room was bigger than it normally was. She saw her friends look down at her and scream in horror. "S-S-Sweetie Belle! Yer, yer.." Apple Bloom struggled to say as she touched Sweetie's body, this made the unicorn giggle, but stopped as her friends still had the same looks on their face. "What? What is it?" Sweetie asked her friends in concern. She didn't know why her friends were shocked. "Your a plushie!" Scootaloo said as she lifted Sweetie Belle up with her left front hoof, looking at Sweetie's new features. "You have stitches all over your body.." She said as Apple Bloom also looked at the unicorn. "And, two buttons fer eyes!" "You also have a very soft mane!" "And, a weird-lookin' mouth." "And-" Scootaloo began before she saw the plush wiggle her little arms in the air. "I get it! I get it!" Sweetie yelled as she looked at her friends but gasped as they continued talking about her new features. Were they deaf or something? "Hello? Girls? I'm right here, can't you here me?" She asked in desperation but got no answer. Oh no! Sweetie thought to herself in terror. They can't hear me! How I'm I going to ask for help now?! That's when Sweetie felt herself surrounded in a magical pink shield and was now facing Twilight, who was also looking at Sweetie's new form. "How is this even possible? Apple Bloom, you said you were making a growing potion for your apple trees!" "I was!" Apple Bloom barked as she walked towards Twilight. "I mean, ah looked closely at the recipe and did everything right!" "Well," Twilight said. "I guess you didn't look very closely at the recipe, because Sweetie was just turned into a plush toy!" She glared at Apple Bloom, who was blushing in embarrassment. Sweetie Belle looked at Twilight with her black button eyes and crossed her arms. Clearing trying to say, 'Well? Are you gonna change me back to normal or not?' Twilight stared at Apple Bloom and Scootaloo and frowned. "Well, I guess 'Twilight Time' is over girls, you two go home as I look for a spell to turn Sweetie Belle back to her normal form." Sweetie and Twilight watched the other Crusaders walked out of the library and close the door, walking home to tell their siblings on what just happened. Sweetie sighed as she looked up at Twilight, her mouth not showing her pouting face. "Don't worry, Sweetie Belle," She heard Twilight say to her as she levitated a spell book, looking for a page for a transformation spell. "I'll get you back to normal in no time!" Sweetie smiled in happiness, knowing that she will back to her normal state in just a few minutes. The hours passed on by and Sweetie was still in her plush form, the sun had already set and Twilight struggled to turn her back to normal. After using the last transformation spell, Twilight sighed and passed out on the floor, panting in exhaustion. "I'm sorry, Sweetie Belle, but none of my spells work! I guess we'll have to find another way, but it's getting late. I'll keep you here at the library for the night and get Zecora to make you a potion." Sweetie felt herself float away from the library floor as Twilight levitated her upstairs before putting her on a shelf and patted her neatly knitted head and crawled onto her bed for the night. This is just great! Sweetie said to herself sarcastically. First, I mess something up, then I turn into a plushie! Could things get any worse?! Sweetie snorted and she felt herself fall off of the shelf and landed straight to the ground and groaned in pain. Yep, definitely worse. That's when she heard somepony snoring, Sweetie looked at Twilight, and noticed that she wasn't the one who was causing the noise. She looked and saw Spike, who was hanging from his little doggie bed, snoring loudly. Sweetie gasped at the sight of him and blushed a little, knowing that Spike could wake up any minute and see her in this form. She couldn't bare being humiliated in front of her secret crush. Sweetie slowly crawled behind his bed and realized that his head was almost touching hers. Sweetie shook a little as she jumped towards one of the drawers on the shelf that was opened and hopped inside. Sweetie looked up and sighed before slowly going to sleep. Sweetie Belle woke up, still in the drawer and unfortunately, still in her plush form. The sun's beams hurt her button eyes and the white plush turned around to stop her eyes from burning and rubbed them with her small soft hooves. That's when she heard various noises coming from the room. "Spike, wake up!" Sweetie heard Twilight say as Spike slowly wake up from his slumber. "You've got to help me!" "Twilight," Spike mumbled tiredly, rubbing his eyes. "It's seven o'clock in the morning, what are you so worked up about?" Twilight looked at her tired assistant and explained on what happened to Sweetie Belle the previous day and the unicorn filly began to grow nervous. "Wait, what?" Spike asked, confused. "So, what you're saying is that Sweetie Belle was turned into a plush toy?!" Sweetie heard him say before he began to laugh hysterically. "Oh, Twilight! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Are you off your meds again?" Sweetie Belle couldn't help but laugh after hearing him make fun of Twilight. She always loved Spike's sense of humor. She continued to laugh as she listened to Twilight and Spike's conversation. "No! I am not! I'm serious, Spike! Now, I put Sweetie on the shelf but now she's missing! You need to help me find her!" Spike rolled his eyes and chuckled as he walked towards the open drawer where Sweetie was hiding. Her laughing came to a stop when she saw Spike's eyes look at her. She then felt one of his clawed hands touched her body and lift her up. She gasped as she faced Spike, she saw him gasp in surprise and ran to Twilight to show that he found the plushie. He stared at the plush, and snickered. He knew that Twilight was insane, but not that insane! She probably got this plush from Rarity as a birthday present. He looked behind to see if Twilight was gone, and luckily, she was, and he began to walk towards his bed and jumped on it, holding the plush in his hands. He held the plushie in his arms, holding it against his chest. He began to stroke the plush Sweetie Belle's mane softly and even though he couldn't hear her, Sweetie was purring softly. He stared at the black button eyes softly and sighed, knowing on how much he was in love with Sweetie Belle. He continued cuddling the plushie before he heard Twilight yell from downstairs. "Spike! Did you find her?!" "Oh, um, yes, Twilight! I found her!" Spike yelled as got off his bed and he ran down the stairs. He stopped as he nearly crashed into Twilight, he froze as he faced his dear friend and Sweetie yet again felt her surrounded by Twilight's magic. "Thanks, Spike! Now, can you write Rarity a letter that we're going to help Sweetie turn back to normal?" "Your wish is my command, Twi!" Spike bowed as Twilight put Sweetie on the table where various quills, ink, and scrolls lied. Sweetie gasped and got an idea. Since nopony can hear me, I guess I can write a little letter to Spike showing my true feelings to him! She thought to herself as she walked to an open scroll, before grabbing a quill with one of her front hooves and dipped in ink. That's when she heard Spike gasped form behind her and stare at her. "Sweetie Belle?" He asked. "What are you doing? Twilight said I should write the letter, but since you have the things ready, I guess you can do it." He rubbed his head in embarrassment as Sweetie nodded and began to write. She began to write 'Dear Spike," before she heard Spike gasp. "Sweetie Belle, you're writing my name! Is there something you wanna tell me?" Sweetie nodded at him and turned back to writing the letter, it took her several minutes to finish the letter and quickly closed the letter so Spike couldn't see what she wrote. Spike raised an eyebrow and smiled at his friend, patting at her soft mane before going to where Twilight was, who was entering the library with a potion she got from Zecora. She walked to where Sweetie was at and smiled. "Alright, Sweetie, all you need is a drop of this potion and you'll be back to normal!" Twilight smiled as she put the yellow liquid into a flask and carefully bent the tip towards the small filly, a yellow droplet began to peek out and fell off, it soon hit Sweetie Belle and just like last time, she felt herself changing. Her legs began to grow bigger and her mane was slowly turning back to normal and the stitches faded from her body. Moments later, Sweetie was sitting on the table, and soon fell off. She was back to her normal state. Sweetie looked at herself and hopped off the table before she starting jumping up and down in delight! She ran towards Twilight and hugged her tightly. "Thank you so much, Twilight! You're the best princess ever!" She said as her voice cracked. "Well, I better get going, thank you so much!" Twilight watched Sweetie let her go and run towards the front library and opening it with her magic, she waved at the alicorn and Twilight waved back. The filly ran outside and slammed the door shut. Twilight looked back at Spike, who was holding a scroll. "You ready to send the letter, Spike?" Twilight asked before noticing that Spike was nearly crying and smiling brightly. "Spike? What's wrong?" Spike looked up at twilight and blushed, "N-Nothing, Twilight! Just looking at the letter Sweetie wrote me!" Before Twilight could respond, she saw Spike run upstairs, still blushing and hiding under the blankets of his doggie bed. The letter he had in his hand was on the floor, waiting to be picked up. Twilight used her magic and began to read the letter and giggled. The letter was short but very sweet. Dear Spike, I don't know how to say this, but I love you! I hope you feel the same way about me! Love, Sweetie Belle. > Short Chapter: Latenight Cuddles > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sweetie Belle the Plushie cuddled beneath the reptile arms of Spike, who was sleeping on his doggie bed, snoring loudly. It has been weeks since the whole accident and she secretly made the potion once again and hidden herself on Spike's bed for the majority of the day until night came. Twilight was in bed with her night cap on and Sweetie's stitched mouth was still smiling, and it would forever since she couldn't move it. She felt Spike twist and turn to the other side of his bed as he held her tightly, Sweetie tried to squeeze her way out but failed and caught her breath due to the pressure of his claws around her. Then, she wrapped her soft, tiny arms around the tip of his claws and went back to sleep. That's when the light turned out, revealing Twilight, who sat up on the bed. Little did Sweetie know is that Spike had been talking in his sleep. The unicorn mare got off the bed and woke the dragon up, causing him to scream and rub his eyes. He was still holding Sweetie in his claws. "Twilight, what was that for?!" He asked. "That was for not telling me that Sweetie Belle had turned into a plushie again, this is just great." Twilight said as she let out an angry sigh before glaring at her assistant. "Tomorrow morning, we're going to Zecora's to tun Sweetie back to normal again! Got it?" "Yes, ma'am." Spike said, disappointed before the light turned out. Spike lied back on his bed and sighed before he heard Twilight say: "By the way, why are you so obsessed with Sweetie being a plushie?" The dragon mumbled before looking up at Twilight. "Same thing you were with Smarty Pants, you couldn't go to sleep at night without feeling the soft stitches upon your face, and don't tell em that's a lie, I've heard you talk in your sleep. Now, goodnight, you little filly."
