The Mane 6 find themselves joining Duel Academy, after being taken to the human world. Twilight is trying to find a way back home, Rainbow is rivaling with Chazz, Applejack is worrying about the farm back home, Rarity is fawning over her Gemini deck, Pinkie is dueling everyone for fun, and Fluttershy is scared of dueling since she thinks the point of the game is to kill digital pets. (Note: This series is supposed to start in the middle part of season one of GX (after the School Duel) and the end of season 4 of MLP.) Twilight Sparkle, now a princess, was called to a "princess meeting" and to bring her friends, the Mane 6, made up of Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy. Spike, Twilight's baby dragon, was asked to be left back at her castle that recently formed.
"Twi, why did we have to come?" Rainbow Dash asked as the group climbed the stairs to the castle, annoyed.
"I don't know. I would of told you already if I knew." Twilight answered.
"I know! It's gonna be a party!" Pinkie said, hyperactive as usual.
Suddenly, 3 clouds, one colored a dark red, another navy blue, the last one gold (A/N: In SkyDoesMinecraft's case, budder.). "What in the name of Celest-" Twilight started, but was interrupted by a voice.
"You will not use that term for a while, Twilight Sparkle. For we are taking you to a world where not only God is referred as a god (A/N: I believe there is only one god aka God, I'm just basing off of Yu-gi-oh), but also us three: Slifer, Ra, and Obelisk." The voice said, and the three clouds started circling around the ponies at high speeds. Rainbow Dash tried flying out, but the navy blue cloud stopped her.
"W-What do we do?" Fluttershy asked, scared.
"You can't do anything." The voice said. A hole came from the floor, and the Mane 6 fell through the ground, into the air above what Twilight thought was an island. Soon, she became unconscious.

Meanwhile, it was night time in the human world. Jaden Yuki, of course, was out cold, until his spirit partner, Winged Kuriboh, woke him up. "What is it?" Jaden whispered-asked, not wanting to wake up his roommates, Syrus Truesdale and Chumley Huffington. Kuriboh just used his language, which consisted of "kuri kuri", which Jaden somehow understood. "Kuriboh, I doubt someone is falling from the sky in the middle of the night." Jaden then heard a crash outside, which woke up Syrus and Chumley.
"What was that?!" Syrus shouted, surprised.
"I dunno, but we have to check it out!" Jaden said, putting on his red jacket. He rushed outside, but ran into his rival Chazz Princeton.
"Chazz! You heard that crash too?" Jaden asked.
"It sounded hard to miss, slacker." Chazz retorted, as usual. "I think I might know where that crash came from, though." Chazz then pointed to an area that had smoke. The group went to that area to find 6 girls unconscious. One had pink puffy hair, another rainbow, one a deep blue with pink and purple streaks, another blonde (probably the most natural), one straight light pink, and the last curly purple. Three of them had small wings on their back, weirdly.
The group just stared in both shock and surprise. Eventually, Jaden started to walk towards one of the girls (the one with the dark blue hair) and shook her a little. "Hey! Are you ok?" Jaden asked. The girl groaned and got up. She, however, then fell back down. She looked at her hands for a little.
"Oh Celestia, I'm a human again!" She shouted.
"What do you mean by again? And who's Celestia?" Jaden asked the girl. She looked up at Jaden.
"Whoops. I'm sorry." The girl then got up. "My name is Twilight Sparkle." Chazz laughed a little.
"That's a weird name." Syrus said.
"It's actually kinda funny." Chazz said, with a chuckle. Twilight rolled her eyes. "I'm Jaden Yuki." Jaden said, turning Twilight's attention back to him. "So, um, why were you in the middle of the forest?" Twilight then looked back on what happened.
"It's really hard to explain." Twilight answered. "But I just know that I'm away from my home and dimension."

"So let me get this straight: You're a princess from a pony dimension, and three clouds teleported you and your friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, and Fluttershy, to this world. And this isn't your first time in the human world." Chazz said, confirming what he heard from now human pony. The group had to bring the other, unconscious, girls to the infirmary, which also took awhile. Syrus and Chumley went back to the dorm, but Jaden and Chazz decided to stay with Twilight, Jaden out of curiosity and Chazz needed answers.
"Yes, and I can understand if you don't believe. Even so, I can thank you for your generosity to help me. And I'm sure my friends will thank you too." Twilight answered.
"By the way, what's with the wings?" Jaden asked.
"I have my wings?" Twilight said surprised, looking at her back seeing the wings. Chazz facepalmed.
"You just NOTICED?!" Chazz then shouted at Twilight. Then the three heard a chuckle. Rainbow Dash had woken up, but they never noticed.
"The Egghead didn't notice her wings?" Dash said. Chazz burst out laughing at the nickname "Egghead", while Jaden was confused. "I get the feeling the emo kid likes the nickname." Dash continued. Jaden was expecting Chazz to retort, but he kept laughing.
"Why 'egghead'?" Jaden asked.
"She reads a lot. She literary read a book about running for a race once. I call it the 'Egghead's Guide to Running'." Dash answered. Chazz was laughing even harder at this point. Jaden let out a small chuckle. "Ok, that IS pretty funny. I would laugh just as hard as Chazz, but I get the feeling you can use magic, since you said you were part unicorn, and I don't want you using that against me...." Jaden saw himself being electrocuted or burned by magic.
"I actually don't know how to use magic while a human, so..." Twilight started. "...go ahead."
Jaden immediately started laughing along with Chazz, who by now was on the floor. Eventually, both of the boys calmed down and stood back up again.
"So, anyways, where are we?" Dash asked.
"We are at Duel Academy, a place where duelists learn more about strategies and their cards, along with dueling others." Twilight explained. She had asked Jaden and Chazz the same question, and although she got a more detailed version, the info she said to Rainbow Dash is basically the same.
"Duelist?! You guys do sword fights here?! That is awesome!" Dash yelled, excited about the wrong thing.
"No. As in Duel Monsters. It's a card game." Chazz said. Rainbow looked surprised.
"Then why is it called duelis-" Dash started, but Chazz covered her mouth, interrupting her.
"Twilight said 'cards and strategies'. That's common sense that it's card game." Rainbow pushed Chazz's arm away.
"That's lame. But I would still win." Dash retorted. Chazz rolled his eyes.
"You don't even know how to play the game. But to see if you'll be right or not, we'll do this: I'll teach you and get you a deck, and then we'll duel." Chazz said. Jaden looked at Chazz with shock. He's willing to? That's not like Chazz. Jaden thought.
"Hey, Jaden. Would you help me set up a deck?" Twilight asked, breaking Jaden out of his thoughts.
"Sure! But I know who could give you a free deck." Jaden answered. Chazz knew who Jaden was talking about.
"So what are we waiting for!? Let's go!" Dash shouted, and flew out of the room.
"RAINBOW DASH!!! JADEN AND CHAZZ CANT GO THAT FAST!!! AND YOU DONT KNOW WHERE THIS PERSON IS!!!" Twilight yelled down the academy's hall to Rainbow Dash. Dash came back in a second later.
"Whoops, sorry."
Chapter 1: Practice makes perfect! Twilight Vs Jaden! Part 1
The group had started following Jaden, with Chazz explaining how Duel Monsters is played. Rainbow was excited when she heard an image of every monster will appear when you play a monster. Twilight was amazed by the duel disk Chazz also happened to have on him. Both girls were prepared by the time Chazz was halfway done. All they needed were decks.
Meanwhile, Jaden had been leading the group throughout the forest, but he eventually lost his way. "Shoot." Jaden said, at the edge of the island.
"Look, slacker," Chazz started. "Why don't we have Rainbow just fly to wherever you're trying to lead us to?" Dash spread her wings and flew upwards.
"Finally! I get to fly somewhere! For the love of Celestia, where is this place?!" Dash shouted.
"The Yellow Dorm." Jaden answered. Chazz facepalmed.
I know what he's gonna do: Jaden's gonna ask Bastion for an extra deck. I'm pretty sure he won't just give Twilight and Rainbow free decks. Chazz thought. "Rainbow, no need." Rainbow went back to the ground.
"Aw man, why?" Rainbow stretched out one of her wings. Chazz rolled his eyes.
"Apparently the slacker doesn't know the island that well. Follow me." The group followed Chazz, to a yellow building. The group walked down the hallway, and Chazz knocked on a door labeled "Bastion Misawa". A boy with hair similar to Phoenix Wright and a yellow version of Jaden's jacket opened the door.
"Oh hello, Jaden, Chazz. What brings you two here so late? It's midnight." The boy, presumably Bastion, asked.
"I was about to ask the same thing, Bastion." Chazz retorted. "Anyways, Jaden thinks we could get two free decks from you."
"For who exactly?"
The two girls came from behind Jaden and Chazz. "Dude, what's up with the hair?" Rainbow asked. Bastion raised a brow, but just ignored the question.
"These are the two who want decks?" Bastion asked. Jaden nodded. "Okay, hold on a second." Bastion went back inside his room, and opened a drawer, filled with decks. Chazz looked shocked. Meanwhile, Twilight looked inside the room, to see equations on the ceiling.
"Um, Bastion, right? What's with all the equations on your ceiling?" Twilight asked. She seemed very interested and confused at the same time.
"They're my equations for my decks." Bastion answered, still looking through his drawer of decks. Twilight raised a brow.
Why would you need equations for a game? It sounds unneeded. I remember Chazz saying Duel Monsters requires math a 1st grader would know. Weird... Twilight thought.
"Aha! Here's two decks I have that are decent but I couldn't really expand. Maybe you two can give it better use." Bastion said, breaking Twilight out of her thoughts. He handed Twilight and Dash each a deck. Suddenly, the decks glowed and shined light beams, Twilight's pink, and Dash's red. The boys covered their eyes, while the girls looked at their decks in shock. Eventually, the light stopped. Everyone stared in surprise and shock.
"Huh. Well that happened." The two girls said in unison. Jaden, Chazz, and Bastion looked at the two. Dash raised a brow.
"Does this normally happen?" Dash asked. The boys nodded. "Well, not at crazy as back home." Rainbow then added a yawn. Chazz's eyes widened.
"Oh NO!" Chazz shouted. The others looked at Chazz.
"What's wrong, Chazz?" Jaden asked. Chazz, surprisingly grabbed Jaden, and shook him like crazy.
"WE DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY'RE GONNA SLEEP!!! THEY CANT SLEEP AT OUR DORM, THAT'S FOR SURE!!" Chazz shouted at the top of his lungs.
"G-g-g-g-g-get-t-ting d-d-d-d-izzy!" Jaden said, Chazz still shaking him. Chazz stopped after a little bit.
"Whoops." Chazz said.
"If I may interrupt," Bastion interrupted. "Why don't you ask Alexis if Rainbow Dash and Twilight can stay with her?" Jaden sweatdropped while Chazz facepalmed.
"Why didn't we think of that!?" Jaden and Chazz said in unison, Jaden with surprise, Chazz with annoyance.
Meanwhile, Dash looked confused. "Who's Alexis?" she asked.
"She's a friend of ours. An Obelisk blue." Bastion answered. "I'll call her up."
--Next day, brought to you by Derpy Hooves (A/N: What? I couldn't help myself!)--
Dash yawned, getting up from her sleeping bag. She, along with Twilight, has stayed with Alexis, and Dash got WAY too comfortable. Meanwhile, Twilight had been looking through her deck the whole night. Twilight was happy with what Bastion had given her: Spellcasters! A special version, called Prophecy, with magicians and special spells called Spellbook. Along with that, Twilight came up with great strategies for her deck. Dash chuckled at the asleep Twi on Alexis's desk. "Hey, you awake, Twi?" Dash asked. Twilight moaned, and lifted her head from the desk. "Did you stay up all night?"
"Yes. I didn't expect my deck to be really great. I also checked yours, and it's great too." Twilight stated. "Your deck is called Gusto, a Wind themed deck."
"Gusto? Sounds cool enough for me." Dash said. "By the way, where's Alexis?"
"She had class, so she already left."
"Why couldn't we have gone? We could of learned more about dueling!"
"That's just it, Rainbow. It would be a disaster if the students of Duel Academy found out about us!" Twilight thought in horror, being crowded, asked questions, and not having the time to find out how to get home. "The only people we can trust are the DA staff, Jaden, Chazz, Alexis, Syrus, Chumley, and Bastion." Dash pouted. She wanted to learn a little before her duel with Chazz. Twilight easily knew that's what Dash was thinking. "Rainbow, I think you should wait on your 'big duel' with Chazz."
"What!? Why!?"
"You never dueled before. You should wait until you get experience."
"Okay, then let's duel!"
Twilight rolled her eyes. "I was actually going to challenge Jaden. Chazz said Slifer is the lowest dorm in DA so I thought it would be a great place to start." Dash nodded.
--Time Skip to after classes (cuz I'm not writing two duels in one chapter unless needed)--
"Finally! Why are your classes so long?!" Dash shouted from the roof, after spotting Jaden, Chazz, Syrus, and Chumley. She and Twilight had left the Girls' Obelisk Blue dorm and flew to the Slifer dorm around 2:00 PM, the time Alexis said when the classes ended. But it was 3:30 when the boys arrived.
"Look, it's not our fault. Crowler made the class extra-long. Blame him." Chazz explained. Dash crossed her arms.
"Somehow I doubt it." Dash then flew down from the roof. Twilight followed. "Chazz, our duel is gonna have to wait. Twi says I need a little more experience."
Chazz shrugged. "That's understandable. It wouldn't count towards the Chazz's winning streak anyways since you never dueled before."
Syrus raised a brow. "What winning streak? Your last duel was with Jaden and you lost!" Dash bursted into laughter and fell backwards. Chazz grabbed Syrus by the shirt.
"Why did you tell her?!" Chazz yelled. Syrus just laughed.
"No, it's fine, dude. I just find it funny you just didn't tell the truth. And the Chazz? Priceless!" Dash said, getting up. Chazz let go of Syrus.
"It's not supposed to be funny."
"It totally is."
"Is not."
"Is too."
And instantly the two got into a fight. Twilight rolled her eyes.
"Jaden, speaking of dueling, wanna duel? I need some practice." Twilight asked. Jaden smiled.
"Sure! Let's throw down!" Jaden pulled out his duel disk, while Syrus snuck Chazz's duel disk out of his bag (Chazz had put it down for a minute.) and tossed it to Twilight. Jaden turned his on immediately, but it took Twi a little bit to figure out how to turn the duel disk on. At this point both Chazz and Dash had stop fighting (Dash also had to hold Chazz back from Syrus once he realized it was his duel disk Twilight was holding.)
"Duel!"
Jaden Yuki - 4000/ Twilight Sparkle - 4000
"I believe it is ladies' first. Draw." Twilight said, drawing. "I summon the Spellbook Magician of Prophecy, in attack mode." A boy with silver hair and a robe appeared.
Spellbook Magician of Prophecy - ATK 500 DEF 400
"And his effect activates! Since he was Normal Summoned, I get to take one Spellbook spell from my deck and put it in my hand. I'll take my Spellbook of Wisdom. And that's about it."
"Alright, my turn! I draw!" Jaden shouted as he drew his card. "I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman in attack!" Bubbleman appeared in front of Jaden.
Elemental HERO Bubbleman - ATK 800 DEF 1200
"And since he was summoned by himself, I get to draw two cards! And now, I attack your Spellbook Magician!" Bubbleman immediately shot Spellbook Magician, who screamed and was destroyed.
Jaden Yuki - 4000/ Twilight Sparkle - 3700
"After that, a face down. Your move." Jaden finished, as a card appeared faced down.
"I should of expected that. No matter, I draw!" Twilight shouted, pulling another card from her deck. "I summon Gagaga Magician in Attack!" A magician appeared in front of Twilight.
Gagaga Magician - ATK 1500 DEF 1000
"It's about time." A voice said. Twilight looked around.
"Did you just hear that?" Twilight asked.
"I did." Jaden said.
"Same here." Dash, Chumley, and Chazz said in unison. Twilight looked around again.
"So who-"
"Ahem." The voice said. Gagaga Magician turned to face Twilight.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. That MAGICIAN IS TALKING?!" Dash shouted.
"It's called a Duel Monster Spirit. Why, you scared-" Chazz was then interrupted by Dash herself.
"That is...AWESOME! YOU'RE SO LUCKY TWI!" Dash flew up and flew backwards fast. Syrus raised a brow, but decided to not ask.
"N-No matter! Anyways, I attack Bubbleman with Gagaga Magician!" Twilight shouted, as Gagaga Magician destroyed Bubbleman.
Jaden Yuki - 3300/ Twilight Sparkle - 3700
"Turn end."
"Alright, my turn!" Jaden shouted, drawing. "I summon Avian in defense!" Avian appeared on the field, and knealed on his card that appeared with him. "That's about it!"
I wonder...could he be planning something? I'll see... Twilight thought.
Hey, it's me. I'm back from the dead, about 4 years later, and now I'm so much better at writing. I'm heavily considering rewriting this fanfic, a fresh start, but it will take time to get it exactly as I want it! There will be a clean sweep of ships, rewriting of the first two chapters - hell, I might even scrap them entirely for better pacing! Wish me luck, folks!
