Creation
"In this lab, at this time, I love that thought." Oliver Cleff, said. He was a scientist with KSI and it was a few months after the events of Hong Kong. The company was still in possession of Transformium, the stuff was revolutionary and Oliver was just having fun messing with the stuff. Currently, the company was focusing on making the Autobots a new home. This transformer stronghold was currently under construction and the left over Transformium was strictly for lab use only. Oliver, was being a thinker planning out ideas for what the crazy stuff could do for the world.
Oliver's thought was on the fanfiction on Fimfiction that he had not yet finished, and as he thought it the Transformium changed to a Rainbow Dash figurine. Wait, idea; Oliver looked to the figure in his hand, what if this was real, what if he could make them alive like the transformers the company had tried to make, he thought. Rising, the Rainbow Dash still in hand, Oliver rushed to the white board. Taking a marker he began furiously writing down blue prints on the board. First, there was the very Rainbow he was holding, then to the others. He then rushed to his close friends still messing with the Transformium. "Hey guys, great idea what if what if." Oliver, began to hyperventilate, slowing he restarted his sentence, "What if we make transformer ponies, look I have this." He said extending the Rainbow Dash into view. "They could be like Ponybots a MLP version of the transformers."
"That could be a marketable idea. We could sell them in mass production to kids. We would just have to make the Transformium frame solid." Janna, a fellow scientist said.
"No, I don't mean that. I mean what if we make a transformer out of this. What if we make something like Galvatron. A living being but it would be a pony. It would be just us and we would have to get enough Transformium for six figures about this size. Then begin the process of making them. I have some blueprints in the lab if you guys want to begin." Oliver, said motioning excitedly.
"Jake and I will go get the Transformium needed and the nessicary supplies to begin the process. While you and Carter go back to your lab and begin figuring out what we need to get this rolling." Janna, said stand and pulling Jake along with her. Carter and Oliver both walked back to his lab. "Man this is going to be awesome, great idea man." Carter, said patting Oliver on the back.
Once, all the supplies was assembled, the team got to work.
It took a few days, but the team managed to do it. They completed the beginning model. The Rainbow Dash transformer was complete. Now, the team was just adding some finishing touches. "Well we completed one and that took about four days. So do we want to bring it to life?" Janna, asked.
"I think we should finish the others then bring them all to life at the same time." Oliver, said smiling at Janna.
"Well good job team we managed to make the first one." Jake, said extending his hand out for a high five with everyone.
The team took a days break. Then they began work on the next one. Then the one after that and the one after that. Burning through coffee, granola bars, and in Carters case a pack of cigarettes. They slept in the lab, making makeshift beds out of some blankets, they found and chairs. The whole team was very engrossed in the project they loved the idea of pony transfromers. Did they get approval for this from above, no, but above was in a bit of chaos and it had left the lower levels and engineers to think of ideas that could make KSI some money. So once, the idea had formed, the team had gotten to work on it.
About three weeks, after they had finished the first one, the team now smiled as they looked at the table with six completed my little pony transformers. There was a Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and a Fluttershy. They all looked awesome. So much like their vinyl forms, but robotic in some way. The affect of the ponies in front of the team way inspiring, they where amazed at what they had done. "Awesome." They all, said at the same time in a mesmerized tone.
The team delicately transferred the six robots to a tray, then slid tray into a compartment. Inside, this compartment it would bring them to life per say. All at once, the team flipped the switch and it began. Light flashing, electric sparks jumping, and as the process finished slight contrails of smoke could be seen rising to the top of the compartment. They breathed slowly, then lifted the compartments cover and pulled the tray with the ponies out. They all smiled as they saw one of the ponies yawn and their eyes begin to open. They all gasped and awed, all the scientist where excited and looked as if they where about to bounce out of their lab coats. First, the Rainbow Dash one moved her head then shakily flapped her wings, and as she began to walk. The others began to move their heads and open their eyes. Then the Rainbow Dash spoke in a shaky voice, "Where are we, where am I?"
Oliver responded to her much in the way someone would a little child, "Well you are in a KSI lab and my friends Janna, Jake, Carter, and me Oliver made you."
"Why do I feel so empty inside? What is our point?" Rainbow Dash, asked to them.
"Well honey, you are here to well I don't know actually live, have fun." Janna, said in the same tone of voice as Oliver.
"Well it appears that we are alive yet we are robotic beings, Hi I am Twilight Sparkle." Twilight, said to them in a very excited voice and extended a hoof to one of the scientists.
"What where we before y'all brought us to life?" Applejack, asked as she looked down at her metallic hoof.
"Well I think we can answer your questions, but give us sometime we need to rest. Maybe an hour?" Oliver, said smiling at them all
"Maybe we will find out who we are and who we are meant to be?" Rainbow Dash, said sighing the pony looked depressed.
