Prologue
One dark night deep in the Neverfree Forest sits the smouldering ruins of what used to be the Neverfree Network building. Nothing should have been there but from the ruins came 6 ponies. One looked like she could rival Fluttershy in shyness was hiding behind another pony, one was working on a machine that looked strangely like a mini fridge, and the others were arguing, about what they had to do now that their show had been destroyed by their nemesis, the Elements of Harmony. Soon enough they became able to be heard from the yelling.
“I’m telling you Moonlight, we have to get back at those damn Elements of Harmony!” yelled one of the ponies walking away from the wreckage.
“And I am telling you good sir, that we must acknowledge our defeat and let it go.” Moonlight responded.
“Let it Go!” sang one.
“Cant hold it back anymore!” sang another.
“Shush the both of you! You know I despise that song!” growled the first.
“But Heatstrike...” the two ponies cried as they hugged each other.
“No butts! We have business to get to!” Heatstrike yelled.
“I say sir. No need for such yelling.” Moonlight responded.
“Ugh... Can we just get on with the plan?” Heatstrike asked, “GenieGale how is that Inter-dimensional Teleporter coming along?”
All the ponies looked over to where the machine was and waited for GenieGale’s response. When none came they walked over to the machine. They looked around for GenieGale but found nothing. Suddenly a portal appeared and out came GenieGale.
“It worked!” GenieGale yelled, “It worked guys!”
The rest of the group stood in disbelief of what they just saw. They looked at the machine and then at GenieGale
“Umm... What worked... Genie?” the shy one asked.
“The I.D.T Jungle Monsoon. It worked!” GenieGale explained.
“Oh... Okay...” Jungle Monsoon softly said.
Jungle Monsoon went back to hiding behind Moonlight and the other two started singing. Meanwhile Heatstrike was laughing maniacally.
“Yes! We can finally take out revenge on those Elements of Harmony losers!” Heatstrike, “Omnicron! Six Stryng! Go and help Genie! And no singing!”
Just as Heatstrike said that both of the ponies that were singing stopped and became incredibly sad.
“Okay...” both pouted as they went to help GenieGale.
Both trotted towards GenieGale and started to help him.
“Good. Soon everything will be ready.” Heatstrike said evilly.
“But sir... Do... Do we have to hurt them?” Jungle Monsoon said softly.
“Of course! We must avenge ourselves!” Heatstrike exclaimed.
“Okay...” Jungle Monsoon said softly as she hid behind Moonlight Steelhoof.
Moonlight looked at Jungle and then to Heatstrike.
“I am still opposed to this. But someone has to be the voice of reason. So I will stay. If only so lovely Jungle has a friend.” Moonlight sighed.
Jungle peeked out from behind Moonlight and looked at him happily.
“Whatever.” Heatstrike snarled as he saw what Jungle did.
While Genie, Omnicron, and Six worked on the I.D.T Heatstrike planned what he would do to the Elements of Harmony and Moonlight comforted Jungle. Soon enough Genie, Omnicron, and Six got the I.D.T ready for mass teleportation, but not after a lot of yelling on Genie’s part. After some testing Genie informed Heatstrike that they were ready. With the I.D.T ready the Components of Dissonance readied themselves for the eventual battle against the Elements of Harmony.
“Soon this will all end. Mwuhahahahahaha!!!” Heatstrike cackled.
“If we must.” sighed Moonlight.
“O... Okay...” squeaked Jungle.
“It’s the final countdown!” sang Omnicron and Six.
“NO SINGING!!!” yelled Heatstrike.
“Okay... For science!” Genie exclaimed as Omnicron and Six pouted.
They then activated the I.D.T to bring the Elements of Harmony to Equestria for revenge. The I.D.T started with a spurt and quickly built up power to open the portal. But then it just stopped.
"Sorry.” said Genie, “Still working out some kinks. But it should work for the most part.”
Genie kicked the I.D.T and it immediately started back up. Once it was fully charged Genie pushed a few buttons and a portal opened. The group could hear the faint voices of their nemesis.
“There they are!” exclaimed Heatstrike, “Grab them!”
“Sadly we can’t do that.” Genie stated.
“What! Why!?” Heatstrike snarled.
“Because we would have to go physically all the way through and pull them with us.” Genie explained, “They would be able to fight back and stop us before we could do that. We have to suck them through the portal.”
“But how?” asked Heatstrike.
I added a vacuum function to the mini fridge. Duh.” laughed Genie.
Everyone but Jungle facehooved. They knew that Genie was a mad genius but not that mad. Genie ignored them and activated the vacuum on the I.D.T.
“However I should mention that using the vacuum function slightly disables the accuracy of the portal.” Genie.
“You tell us this now! After you have activated it?!” exclaimed Heatstrike.
“Well where would the fun be in telling you about it earlier?” Genie coaxed.
“Fun? Fun!?” yelled Heatstrike, “Ill tell you what fun is! Go shove- Hmmph”
Moonlight quickly put his hoof over Heatstrike’s mouth. Heatstrike quickly glared at Moonlight.
“Please. Not in front of the lady.” Moonlight asked as he pointed to Jungle who is still hiding behind him.
“Argh... Fine. But I am not very happy with you right now Genie!” Heatstrike exclaimed, “Just get them here and we’ll deal with it as we go!”
“Yes sir!” declared Genie.
“The rest of you get ready to start searching for them when they get here!” Heatstrike growled.
“Yes sir!” Omnicron and Six exclaimed.
“Sure.” Moonlight sighed.
“Eep... O... okay.” Jungle squeaked.
They quickly formed into teams and went their separate ways. Jungle and Moonlight went to Ponyville, Omnicron and Six went to White Tail Woods, and Heatstrike and Genie stayed in the Neverfree. Genie quickly activated the I.D.T and yelling could be heard from points around equestria as ponies fell into the world.
