> The Harmony of Friendship > by Dragon_Sayer > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- One clear night, screams and laughter could be heard from a small house in a quiet neighborhood. Two girls were having the most epic pillow fight that has ever seen this Earth. The pillows were flying all over the bedroom as the teens hid behind forts of random items that they picked up around the floor and shelves, gathering ammo for the next round of fire. "Give up Angie, you know that I always win!" The first girl yelled. "NEVER!" The other screamed in reply. Then, all of a sudden, a huge body pillow was thrown at the both of them, but it only hit Angelica. "I told you girls to go to bed over an hour ago" an angry mother said while storming into the room. "Come on Mom, it's the summer! We are supposed to have as much fun as we can before the prison you call school starts up again!" "I don't care, it is two hours past midnight, and if you don’t turn off the lights and go to bed right now, I will send your friend home!" Then, she turned around and walked out of the room and into her own bedroom. "Sorry you had to hear that." Angelica whispered. “It’s okay, it’s my fault, too.” BD whispered in reply. "Go to bed!" Angie's mom practically screamed from the other room. The two girls just giggled and laid down, dreaming of their wildest fantasies. Little did they know their lives were about to change. > Chapter 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next morning, BD and Angie had some Fruit Loops from the cereal cabinet along with some nice cold orange juice. They had just woken up about ten minutes ago and were waiting excitedly for the season 5 premiere of My Little Pony. Season 4 was one of the best seasons so they were really looking forward to the next one. "The premier is at 10:30 so we only have to wait another five to ten minutes." Angie said while looking at the schedule of the Hub channel. "Good, I'm happy that we didn't have to wait as long for season 5 as we did for season 4." "Yeah, ditto." A couple minutes later, the glorious sound of the intro could be heard all over the house as Angie and BD sang along. And then something weird happened, a pony that looked oddly like a dementor, chanted something strange like a summoning spell. The TV screen then suddenly faded to black and the two girls lost consciousness right where they were sitting. ******************************************************************************************** When they woke up, BD and Angelica found themselves in a dark forest where very little light leaked through the dark green leaves of the trees. "Ugh, where are we? And how come I don't remember coming here." Angie said, while her eyes adjusted to the dim light. "I don't know either," replied BD, "Why don't we get up and find out?” "Okay, let's go." Angie stood up, but she immediately fell back down. "That’s weird, I can’t stand up for some reason." "Me neither." BD said, while she attempted to stand up, too. Angie looked over at her friend and saw that she looked different, she was pure white with dark and light blue hair. "Woah, BD, your hair! It's-" "It's what?!" BD gave a concerning look, but stopped and stared back at her friend. "You should see yourself!" "Okay. How about we try to stand up again and we’ll find a mirror to see what we look like." Angie suggested. "Sounds good to me, this forest is starting to really creep me out!" So they both tried countless times just to stand up and walk, after a while, they got it down and were able to finally move. "Hey look, there are some twinkling lights over there!" BD called out. "Yeah, I see them too!" "Let's go that way and see what is making the twinkling lights." So they both started to walk to where the lights were, even though it was hard because they now had four legs instead of two. As they wobbled on, the twinkling lights got closer and brighter. "What is that?" Angie asked as a creature, dark blue in color, strode closer and closer to them. "Is anypony there?" A strong and deep female voice called out from the darkness. "Y-yes, there is my friend and I! W-we are lost and want to know where we are!" stammered Angie. "You are in the land of Equestria and if you desire guidance, I can show you the way to the nearest town!" "Did you hear that, she said that we are in Equestria! We must have been sucked into the TV during the premier." BD said. “But that’s impossible,” cried Angie, “it’s just a kid's show on TV!” "Hello, art thou still there?" The voice cried out again. “Yes, we are still here!” Angie said. Then, all of a sudden an unicorn, with wings and the hair of the night sky, walked up to them. "Hello, my name is Princess Luna, sister to Princess Celestia." "Oh my gosh it's Luna!" Angie whispered in excitement to BD. "I know." BD whispered in reply. "The nearest town is Ponyville, it is a very nice place, the ponies are kind and willing to help those in need." Luna offered. "Okay, thank you." BD and Angie thanked the lunar princess simultaneously. “But we’ll need a place to stay at.” "There is one pony in particular who would probably be glad to share her home for a few days." Luna smiled. "Okay, thanks again." Angie thanked again. “Art thou ready then?” Luna asked. “Yes!” the friends said together. Luna giggled, and started walking towards Ponyville with the two friends right behind her. > Chapter 3 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The first thing the three mares saw when they reached the edge of the forest was, a small humble-looking cottage with pens surrounding it, filled with animals of all kinds. “Hey, isn’t this Fluttershy’s home?” Angie whispered into BD’s ear. “I think so, it sure does look like it doesn’t it?” BD replied. “Let’s find out,” Angie turned to look up at Luna, “Who lives here?” “ This is where my friend, Fluttershy, lives.” “Okay, and where is this town you were telling us about?” BD asked. “It is right down this path.” The princess said as she pointed to some white and yellow buildings that stood right at the end of the dirt path. “It looks cuter in real life than in the TV, don’t you agree BD?” Angie squealed. “E-yup.” BD answered. They both giggled while Luna looked at them with confusion in her eyes. “What art thou giggling about?” “Oh it’s nothing.” The two girls said simultaneously, while trying to hold back their giggling. Luna then, led the three of them to the small town that was at the end of the path. Both BD and Angie gazed in awe at the many homes that were bigger than they were on TV. When they passed the colorful building called Sugarcube Corner, they were both suddenly knocked to the ground by a bright pink pony. “Oh, new ponies, yay! Now I get to throw the biggest most bestest party of the year!” It squealed. “Is that...Pinkie Pie?” Angie struggled to ask under the weight of the pony that was sitting on top of them. “I think so.” BD also struggled to say. “Hey, how do you know my name? I haven’t ever met you guys!” Pinkie lowered her head so close to Angie’s face that they almost touched. “Uh-” Angelica was cut off by the lunar princess. “I told them all about you and the other Elements of Harmony, since they are some new friends of mine. And they just got here today.” Luna explained. “Yeah, we also know about you because you are a very famous per- pony.” BD said while, she corrected herself. “I am?” Pinkie Pie asked. “Yes, you are very famous indeed.” Angie answered. “I never knew, that’s amazing!” The pink pony said, jumping off of Angie and BD, then hopped circles around them, “Hey, would you guys like to come to Sugarcube Corner and get some cake with creamy frosting? Mmmmm, creamy frosting.” Pinkie said, licking her lips, staring off into space. “We would love to, but we can’t because I need to take them somewhere first.” Luna smiled apologetically. “Oh, okay, maybe tomorrow. Bye!” Pinkie waved farewell to the three visitors and went back inside the sweet shop. > Chapter 4 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Later that evening, after Luna gave Angie and BD a tour of the town, she took them to a large blue castle that looked similar to a treehouse. “That’s Twilight’s castle!” Angelica whispered excitedly to BD. “How do you know this, I thought that you have not ever been here before.” Luna pointed out. “Well, she is pretty famous too where we are from.” BD quickly covered her friend. “I think you are not telling me the whole story.” Luna said knowingly. “We can explain later.” Angie said. “How about when we arrive at Twilight’s castle?” “Okay.” BD accepted The entrance to the tree-castle was five ponies tall and three wide, with a crystal shine to it. And the halls were dark blue in color with many different colored gemstones, each emitted a bright light, hanging from the ceiling. At the end of the hallway, there was a throne room with six thrones that had the cutie mark emblems of the Elements of Harmony. Behind the thrones were two hallways that led to the second floor corridors with all of the bedrooms and guestrooms. “Wow, it looks much bigger on the inside.” Angie said while gazing up at the gems hanging from clear strings. “It’s gorgeous.” BD gasped. “I agree.” Luna said as she continued to walk behind the thrones and up the hallway to one of the bedrooms. She knocked on the door and a medium pitched voice replied with, “Hello?” “Tis I, Princess Luna, along with two of my new friends. We would like to ask you something.” “Come in.” The voice replied and Luna opened the door revealing a room that looked a lot like the old one she had in the library, with a bed, which was on the right side of the room, that had star sheets and a bookshelf to the far left of the room. The bookshelf was so full of books that it looked like it was about to break at an moment. there was also a bird perch that had a great horned owl sleeping peacefully on top of it. “So, how are you Luna, I haven’t seen you since we were at Canterlot trying to stop Tirek.” the purple alicorn greeted her visitors. “I have been good, and you?” “Well, it feels weird living in a castle, but I have tried to make my room look like it did in the Library.” “I can see that.” Luna smiled, looking at the worn bookshelf, and then they both giggled. “Who are your new friends?” Twilight inquired and turned to face BD and Angelica. “My name is BD, and this is Angelica.” “You can call me Angie.” The blue pegasus smiled shyly at Twilight. “Hello Angie, BD, it is nice to meet both of you. So, Luna what is that question you wanted to ask me?” “I was wondering if you could give these girls a place to stay for a couple days.” Luna gestured to the unicorn and pegasus who stood next to her, both clearly nervous. “I would be glad to, they can stay as long as they want.” “Thank you, we are both very grateful.” Angie bowed to Twilight. “Oh, please don’t bow, I don’t really like it when ponies do that, it makes me feel like I am better than everypony else when I really am not.” The purple pony explained. “Now, about that room, follow me.” Twilight led the three mares out of her room and four doors down to a similar-sized room. “This is nice.” BD examined the room. The room had two beds that lay right next to each other with the same sheets. The sheets were light blue on the top half with light green on the bottom half, and flowers dappled all over, as if they were thrown into the air and on to the blanket. “I agree,” Angie looked around at the room. She then walked over to the large window, that adorned the far wall, and looked out over the town of Ponyville, “This view is especially wonderful.” “Yeah,” BD also looked out to see the small town that lay before them, she then turned to Twilight and said, “We are very grateful for this beautiful room and for the fact that you are being so kind to us. “Oh it’s nothing, I’m just trying to give you the best impression of Ponyville and the ponies who live here.” Twilight smiled. “Girls, did you not say that you were going to explain to me your situation?” Luna turned to Angelica and BD with a matter-of-fact voice. “Right, um, where do we begin?” Angie asked, looking up to the ceiling as if trying to catch a glimpse of her memory of that morning. “Well, first of all, I should tell you of the technology of where we are from.” BD’s horn shone an aquamarine color as she pulled up a picture of a TV. “In our land, we have a machine that looks like this, it is called a television or a TV. The TV is like a magic box that shows moving pictures, there is a program of moving pictures called ‘My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic’. My Little Pony is a show about this world and about you, Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity and Fluttershy.” BD then, pulled up another image that showed a snapshot of the two girls sitting on the couch. “Are you humans? Because you look like some to me, in the picture.” The purple princess interrupted. “Yes we are or we were.” Angie answered the question. “Anyways, we were going to watch the season 5 opening episode when a weird pony that looked like a character from Harry Potter, a book series we have in the human world, started to chant something like an evil spell and we got sucked into the TV and ended up in the Everfree Forest.” “Interesting, very interesting.” Twilight got her thinking face on. “I have never seen anything like it. Well, besides that, you may stay here until you find a way home, and my friends and I would be glad to help you.” “Thank you.” BD smiled at Twilight. “We shall leave you alone now so you can get settled.” Luna said. “We’ll sort this out tomorrow.” Leaving the two mares alone in the room with Twilight in toe. Angie and BD, then found a huge vanity mirror to look at themselves in. “Wow, I look different, but cool!” Angie smiled turning and staring at herself in one half of the mirror while BD looked at herself in the other. “Yeah, me too. Oh, look my hair is blue, blue is my favorite color!” “Who doesn’t know that?” Angie giggled as she remembered the 2 years that BD had dyed her hair blue. “Cool, wings!” Angie looked over her shoulder at her new appendages and flexed them in and out. Her wings were dark blue like the rest of her body, and at the ends of her wings, they faded to a dark green along with the tips of her hair and ears. BD was a pure white unicorn with dark blue hair that had a light blue stripe running down the middle of both her mane and tail. “You should probably learn how to fly so the other ponies don’t notice we are not really from this world.” BD pointed out. “I guess so.” Angie agreed, looking at her wings again. “It’s getting pretty late.” BD looked out of the window at the moon that was slowly rising across the night sky. “Yeah, we should probably go to sleep now.” Angie pulled away from the mirror and trotted over to one of the beds that sat in the back of the room with BD in toe. “Good night BD.” Murmured Angie as she snuggled into the bed. “Good night Angie.” Yawned BD as she did the same. Soon, they both were fast asleep. They had no idea what was going to happen to the next day.
