The year is 2703 A.D. (After Discord). The Gryphons and the Ponies are at a massive war with each other and things aren't looking good for the ponies. The war has been going on for years now and both sides have had serious losses. Created by Sanquil and Gamer dude.
The year is 2703 A.D. (After Discord), the Gryphons are at war with the pony countries Equestria, Annesia, and Ethorea. The war has been devastating, resulting is countless losses on both sides. The Gryphons had grounded Ethorea with shear power, keeping it from acting as a flying fortress. The prince, Prince Zakaht, needed to focus all his magic on protecting the land rather than keeping the propellers working. Annesia’s vast underground bases had been caved in by the Gryphons’ air raids. Equestria’s Cloudsdale was obliterated completely. Things are looking grim for the ponies if they can’t turn things around fast. Thankfully, Ethorea’s Crislan magic kept weapons supplied in vast numbers for the pony side. The leaders of the three nations are holding a meeting.
“Things aren’t looking good for us,” Princess Celestia started, “ If we can’t find a weakness in the Gryphons’ defensive lines, we’re doomed.”
“We need to work more as a unit and not lone wolves.” Prince Falcron stated.
“I think I may have an idea,” Prince Zakaht implies, “We need to meet the Gryphons’ ground force with large, heavily armoured war machines. It will act as the front line and break through the defensive lines of the Gryphons, scattering their numbers.”
“And then I will move in with the aerial support.” Both Rainbow Dash and Evour say at the same time.
“With Ethorea’s royal air force, Ulhar Torkei, can certainly take them down.”
“And the Wonderbolts have been waiting some action in the war.”
“We are grateful for the offer,” Prince Sanquil says, “We can really use every hoof in the war that we can get. Father, could we assist them in anyway? Maybe we could use your growth magic to entangle the enemy?”
“That,” Prince Falcron stated, “is a wonderful idea son, but the chances of me being able to grow the plants fast enough to entangle a griffin is very unlikely. Gryphons are fast and they aren’t idiots.”
“Actually,” Princess Luna, being quiet the entire meeting, starts, “I could use my moon magic to darken the skies momentarily so the gryphons’ are confused and don’t notice the plants until it’s too late. After you get them tangled, I stop my magic and our forces can advance onto them and easily defeat them.” Everypony turned and looked at the Princess, surprised at her presence.
“All in favor of Luna and Falcron’s plan?” Celestia inquires. All hooves go up in favor of the attack plan. “Then it is settled. We attack when ready. Everypony, order a retreat and regroup at Canterlot. I wish you all good luck.”
As the meeting broke apart, Dash and Evour pulled Sanquil to the side.
“ That plan was…was…” Dash started
“Brilliant!” Evour finished, “You are quite the strategist Sanquil. I’m Evour, prince of Ethoria and captain of the Ethorean air squad, Ulhar Torkei. This is Rainbow Dash, leader of the ever famous Wonderbolts aerial assault and performance team.”
“Nice to meet you two. Now I must be going. Mother and Father will be waiting for me.” Sanquil gave his goodbyes and left.
Leaving Canterlot, Falcron, Luna, and Sanquil board their chariot and return to Annesia. Celestia left to inform her guardsmen of their plan. Zakaht and Evour use their Crislan magic and return to the land of Ethorea.
“Attention people of Annesia,” Falcron said, “Princess Celestia, Prince Zakaht and I have come up with a battle plan.” The citizens started to cheer.
“Our immediate action will be to withdrawal out forces from the battlefield to the north and west.” Princess Celestia explained.
“Falcron’s son, Sanquil, came up with an excellent plan of action. We will need all spare metal that there is available for it though.” Zakaht finished. “Evour, I know this isn’t your line of duty, but I need the Ulhar Torkei to scrap what is left of the propellers. We have no use for them at the moment.”
“But father,” Evour started
“No buts. Now go.”
“Captain Isuna,” Falcron turned to his captain, “Tell your troops in the north to retreat back here. Luna,” He turned to his wife, “I need you to prepare the moon to block the Sun soon, this plan will take action once everypony is safely out of the way and Zakaht has the weapon finished.
“Rainbow,” Celestia said, “I need you to get the Wonderbolts together and gather your friends gathered around Equestria. We will need their help. Don’t forget Discord’s frozen body, just in case.” Rainbow Dash gave her princess a look of utter confusion, but didn’t question.
“Yes Sir/Ma'am!” They all complied.
“Alright ponies,” Evour addressed the Ulhar Torkei, “We need to move…this…island. Buck. This is going to be harder than I thought.” Everypony tried with all their might, but the grounded island wouldn’t budge. “Faust, he makes it seem easy.”
“May I lend a helping horn?” Zakaht stepped in. With his extensive power, Zakaht lifted the island long enough for Ulhar Torkei to get all the salvageable metal underneath. “See? Piece. Of cake.” He panted. “Take that to the Crislan Center, they know what to do.”
“Attention,” Rainbow Dash addressed the Wonderbolts, “We have gotten a search and recover mission from the princess herself.” She looked up and down the group of flier, man did it grow since the war, “She wants up to recover my old friends. Twilight Sparkle was last heard of at the Institution for Magic as headmaster. She should still be there. Applejack will be at Sweet Apple Acres no doubt, I get her myself. Pinkie Pie will be planning the Gala with others. Check there for her. Fluttershy is still in her little cottage in Ponyville, caring for woodland creatures. Rarity is making dresses for the princess at the castle. The last thing we need is Discord, Faust knows why. His body is displayed in Manehattan, I know that for a fact. Now, I want everypony back before sundown.”
“Listen up ponies!” Captain Isuna addressed his squad at the encampment in the north, “We have gotten direct orders from Prince Falcron zi Velpin to fall back into home territory now.”
“What is he thinking?” One pony in the crowd asked
“We’re winning though!” Another yelled and others joined in the yelling.
“STOP!” Isuna exclaimed. “The prince has his reasons. We need to get out now so that our plan can advance.” The same thing happened in the camp to the west for Celestia’s troops. The major part of the first part of the plan was done. All troops have been moved out of the battle field and are safely in home territory.
Annesia was created by Prince Falcron zi Velpin, son of Creton vi Velpin of Dregovia. Falcron wanted a land of his own to rule, so for his 30th birthday, his father gave him a small part of Dregovia near Equestria. Falcron became good friends with the rulers of Equestria, Princesses Celestia and Luna. He soon fell in love with Princess Luna, but got no love in return. Because of the rejection, his land fell into a depression and deep as his own. The ponies that lived there, mostly Pegasi, couldn’t live very well because he was unable to perform his magic well enough to make the crops prosper. He later stumbled upon Evour, a Pegasus with great musical and magical talent, who was in the area to head over to Princess Celestia’s royal palace. Evour saw the depression the ponies were in and spoke with Prince Falcron. After solving Falcron’s “girl problems” he left to see Celestia. Learning that his sorrow was ruining his kingdom, he gave it back to his father to flourish until he was mentally ready to take on the responsibility of ruling a kingdom without his own problems getting in the way. Around the time of the Mane 6, he was able to pull his emotions together and could properly rule a kingdom. He convinced Creton that he was capable of ruling Annesia again. After 1000 years being trapped in the Moon, Princess Luna realized that Falcron was the one for her. Overjoyed, Falcron proposed marriage to Princess Luna and she accepted. Annesia has prospered greater than ever when Falcron’s growth magic and Luna’s night magic working together. Annesia has gained twice as much land since Prince Falcron and Princess Luna started ruling it because both Creton and Celestia feel that they have proven their ability and need more room for their ever-growing population.
Zakaht and his personal research team, including his captain of the guard and Evour, gathered to discuss a design for the new weapon. Ideas are being tossed as if they were beach balls. No pony can decide on one design of the weapon, or the name for that matter.
“It needs treads.” One scientist says
“Treads? Are you nuts?” Another interjects, “Wheels are the best course of action.” She states, quickly editing the rough draft of the design on paper.
“What if it was to rain and get muddy? How would wheels help then? And wheels aren’t all purpose, all terrain like treads. Please, Lord Zakaht, don’t you agree?”
The Prince had dozed off for a minute. Meetings weren’t his strong point in patients. Too much arguing for him. “Wha? Oh sorry. Evour, what do you think on the matter?”
Elated that his father/brother addressed him to make an important decision, he voice his opinion.
“Well,” Evour started, taking a long look at those gathered around the meeting table, “Fire Bolt makes an excellent point on how the treads would serve as a huge advantage. Wheels, however, will make it faster and easier to make. Both have their ups and downs, but all-in-all, treads would be the way to go, don’t you agree Zakaht?” He turned toward the prince. He had dozed back off. “I’ll take that as a ‘yes’.”
Off in Equestria, the Wonderbolts and Rainbow Dash look everywhere for her five friends. Discord’s body has already been returned to the princess. Spitfire and Sorrin went off to find Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.
“Hello,” Sorrin introduced, “I am…”
“I know who you are!” Pinkie interrupted, “You’re Sorrin of the Wonderbolts! Rainbow adored you and Spitfire!”
“Let’s cut to the chase,” Spitfire cut in, “Pinkamena Diane Pie, you have been requested by the princess to come with us to Canterlot for royal business.”
“YAY!” Pinkie exclaimed, “What does she want with me? Parties? Decorations? Color choices? Parties?!? Oh! How about…” She was cut off by a hoof in her mouth. Sorrin couldn’t take it anymore.
“Please,” He pleaded, “just, SHUT UP!” Pinkie and Spitfire were both surprised at the sudden outburst. “Now, where can we find Fluttershy?”
Some of the other Wonderbolts went off to find Rarity and Twilight Sparkle. Rainbow Dash left to Ponyville with Spitfire and Sorrin, but for different reasons. She needed some time alone with Applejack.
“Hello?” Dash asked, peeking her head into the Apple barn, “Anyone home?”
“Is that my Dashie I hear? Why, it’s been too long. Yer alone now aren’t ya?” Applejack asked.
“Applejack,” Rainbow Dash said, blushing, “I told you, don’t call me that anymore. I’m seeing other ponies.” She looked away from Applejack, her first lover. “But yes, I’m alone. Can you believe it? Captain of the Wonderbolts, able to avoid paparazzi to sneak into an old apple barn. How’s Big Mac?” Dash said, trotting into the barn.
“Fine, fine.” Applejack said, in her usual cowgirl drawl, “I just wish we could still be together. Why’d it have to end?” She inquired, “Why can’t it work. You never went into details.”
“Listen, Jackie,” Dash addressed her, “Can we talk about this later? Princess Celestia needs all of us together for the war. Don’t me why.” Dash saw the sadness in Applejack’s eyes, and gave her a little kiss, like old times. “It just wouldn’t work between us. I’m sorry.” She said, a small tear forming in Applejack’s eye.
Twilight didn’t need to be found. She kept in constant contact with the princess, so when Celestia needed her, she just had to teleport to her. Fluttershy, to Sorrin’s liking didn’t talk much. He wasn’t in the mood for conversation after the whole “Pinkie Pie” thing. And at least she could fly. Rarity was found in a luxurious room inside the castle, making dresses for the princess to wear, as usual. The Mane Six were back together after about two years before the war.
Meanwhile, in Annesia, Princess Luna was resting and making sure the Moon could make the deadline. The next part of the plan was to be put into action soon. Not much time was left to move the Moon into place for the Solar Eclipse to blind the Gryphon troops.
“Dear, can I get you anything?” Falcron asked his wife, Luna, “Do you need more tea or anything?”
“No,” Luna responded, obviously weak from moving the Moon, “I’m, I’m fine. I just need re…” Just as she was going to finish her sentence, she collapsed onto the bed.
“Luna!” Falcron exclaimed, barging into the bedroom. He was soon relieved to see she had just fallen unconscious. Moving something as big as the Moon was no easy task, even for an Alicorn. Tucking in his wife, he left her to sleep. “Goodnight, my love.” He whispered in her ear.
Leaving the room, Falcron called Sanquil.
“Yes, father?” Sanquil came.
“I need you to go and make sure the troops get back safely. We don’t want them to get ambushed by Gryphons.”
“Yes sir.” Sanquil replied, turning and trotting off.
Zakaht, eldest brother of the alicorns Celestia and Luna. Zakaht is the god alicorn of invention. He is a tall, rather thin, jet black stallion with a silver/gray mane and tale. He ( compared to celestia ) has a pair of large wings of which some of its bones are on the exterior of the wing. Despite this, he still flies as well as any other pegasus. His horn is isn't as long as his younger sister, but that doesn't hinder his "magical awesome-ness" in the slightest. His cutie mark is a white skull inside a nine-headed gear. Symbolizing his powerful, but dangerous magic. Being the god alicorn of invention, he can use Crislan magic. Crislan magic is a magic invented by him, which allows him to use materials around him ( be they raw or refined ) and refine and reshape them into anything. Crislan magic can also be used by any kind of pony, as long as they were born in Ethorea. But that doesn't mean anypony can turn a small pile of iron into a giant mechanical construct, one can only reshape materials into something of proportionate size. But with a magical gem called "The Faust gem" Zakaht can ignore any rule set by the magic. It is the only one of the kind and cannot be recreated without a nation's worth of stupidly powerful unicorns, thankfully he is brother to a pair of alicorns with powers of other worldly proportions.
Zakaht is also the ruler of the kingdom of Ethorea, a gigantic Crislan made floating continent. It is held in the air by massive propellers also made by Crislan. Despite what you might think though, the kingdom isn't entirely pegasi, using Crislan magic he can create air based vehicles for one to pilot to the ground. Ethorea has been in existence for 1700 years. A new age starts every 500 years, Ethorea is now in the fourth age. Ethoreans also speak the ancient language of the dragons.
Evour is an average size stallion pegasus with a brilliant white coat and a blood red mane. He is also Ethorea's guard captain as well as head of the "Ulhar Torkei", Ethorea's royal flight squad similar to the Wonderbolts. Evour's parents passed away while he was still very young, and after finding him on the streets and seeing how gifted he was with Crislan magic, Zakaht adopted him. While he is by law his father, they have more of a brotherly relationship. Evour's cutie mark is a black, gray and white vertically striped lightning bolt, like the opposite of Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. ( Although their cutie marks are opposites they are both a lot alike. ) Evour's cutie mark represents his immense speed, one that rivals Rainbow herself! But it also symbolizes his ability to create a "Kluurok", it is something that occurs when Evour breaks the sound barrier. It is a gigantic electro-magic explosion but is not lethal. The similarities between Evour and Rainbow Dash surprise them both at their first meeting, ( although it may be un-important, Evour is a few years older than her. )
He also kinda likes her, don't tell Dash though! ;p
