Canterlot Castle Throne Room

It had been centuries since conflict had dared to rear it's ugly head and gaze upon all of Pony kind. In the final moments of their lives, the Elements of Harmony had graced the world with a beam which had awoken the friendship in the hearts of every creature big or small within Equis. Everything was sunshine, rainbows and ladybugs. At the head of this seemingly corrupt regime was Princess Celestia and her sister Princess Luna. Underneath these two were the lower tier princesses; Twilight and Cadance. Even now, the four princesses rested within the centralized Canterlot Castle. The four had started the day in tandem, each other having a different agenda for the day which lead up to this finer moment.

The discussion.

It was time for the yearly discussions, the time where the four princesses would gather and discuss a variety of things from financial gain to the ever increasing report of niceness. The report of niceness had been created by Twilight, being that she didn't really rule diddly, when she came to the conclusion that she would travel the world and gauge the magic of friendship within every region. She would mark up a report and present it to the other princess as a way to show them that what she and her, now deceased, friends had made the right decision in purging evil from the world and leaving friendship and love behind.

"As you can see from this chart," Twilight said, pausing as her magic gripped the pointer extra tightly and pointed at the strange graphs on the board behind her. "Friendship between Dragon and Ponies has increased nearly twenty-fold compared to last year and is on a steady rise. It wont be long until you see relationships between Dragons and Ponies!" Twilight finished, her lips pulled back into a wide smile as she looked between the other three princesses. Two of which were staring off into space, their eyes locked onto Twilight but their minds failing to process what she had been talking about.

A soft clapping of hooves rang out as the large alabaster mare at the head of the table clapped for Twilight.

"Very good, Twilight! I am certainly glad that everything that had occurred in the past between ponies and dragons is slowly disappearing into history. It wasn't long ago that Dragons despised every creature on Equis, especially us. To restore some sort of bond between us, it's certainly a fresh feeling." Celestia said, her soft smile still on her lips as she looked to her left at her sister, that smile faltering slightly as she brought a hoof up and clocked her sister upside the head.

"Huh, wuh, yeah! It is certainly... Nice that the thing you were explaining is... Happening!" Luna said, her eyes darting back and forth before she proceeded to clock Cadance upside the head.

"Y-Yes! It is amazing that love is certainly going to bloom once more between various races." Cadance said, a trio of heads nodding following her statement.

"It certainly is, Cadance and at this race maybe Steven Magnet will finally find some one nice to settle down wi-" Twilight almost finished her sentence, her eyes widening slightly as the smell of ozone seemed to fill the air. Her eyes darted around between the other princesses, none of their horns being alight which meant that something else was casting magic. It was then that a strange blue rift appeared on one of the walls of the throne room. All eyes turned towards the portal as Twilight found herself gulping. "U-Umm girls, do you see what I see?" Twilight asked, a trio of nods accompanying her question as she gulped once more for added measure. "Good, cause I certainly don't like what I se-"

"YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" A powerful voice rang out, the sound of an engine revving and guitar shredding filled the air of the throne room. In an instant a vehicle burst through the portal, the coffin shaped contraption pumped some heavy metal as he ripped through the throne room. The ape like creature at the wheel laughed hysterically as Twilight's eyes went wide, his hands gripping the leather of his steering wheel as he slammed on the clutch and tore it into a sideways drift. The last thing Twilight saw was the fast approach of black metal, the side of said vehicle slamming into her body and sending her flying across the throne room. Soon enough, Celestia reached up, her hooves catching her student while Cadance and Luna watched on in a sick sense of fascination and revulsion. The vehicle ripped into a couple of donuts, the tires squealing loudly as the end of the particularly narly rift graced the end of the song. The vehicle came to a complete stop as the music ended, the engine roaring with artificial life as it pointed towards the princesses.

"Man, that was wicked!" The creature said, throwing two arms into the air as it threw two Signs of the Horn at the princesses. The look on Celestia's face showed that she certainly wasn't amused at this spectacle.

"Far out man, where am I? One moment I am cruising down the street to some Jorn Lande as I spread the word of rock and metal to this weird world full of, like, alien creatures and the next I am here." The creature said, it's hands dropping as it turned the key in the ignition to kill the vehicle before grabbing the side of the vehicle and throwing himself from it. He landed gracefully on two steel toe'd booted feet, his ripped up blue jeans resting against his form, his Def Leppard t-shirt and spiked wrist-strap finishing the ensemble with long blonde hair and blue eyes. "Like, are you guys talking horses or something?"

"Actually, the term is a pony and yes we do have the capabilities of speech." Celestia said, one of her eyes twitching as her gaze took in more and more of this strange creature in front of her. Her neutral face, one that hadn't been seen in a long time, seemed to twitch all together before a strained smile came to her lips. "M-Might I ask who you are and what you are?" He voice wavering as she attempted to contain her want to do horrid things to this creature.

"Far out! I never would have thought I would talk to ponies!" The creature said, shaking in his boots as he once again threw two signs of the horn up into the air. "Have you embraced our lords and saviors, rock and metal?" He asked, dropping his hands to his sides as he leaned against his coffin-mobile and a wide smile graced his lips. "Also I am Sid and I think I am a homosapien or something like that. Scientists have some weird names for stuff, man."

"No, I don't believe I have." Celestia said, her whole body twitching at the spectacle in front of her as she tried to calm her nerves. Calmness, peacefulness, friendship, magic. "I-It certainly is nice to meet you Sid, I am Princess Celestia. These three are Princess Luna, Princess Cadance and Princess Twilight." Celestia said, naming off the three other mares as she pointed between the four of them with a hoof before sighing. "Your arrival certainly is strange."

"Pray tell, what is this rock and metal that you speak off?" Princess Luna asked, Celestia giving her a rather even look as the Princess of the night could only shrug back.

"W-What is rock and metal?! Are you telling me that you ponies don't embrace the true word?" Sid asked, his question getting three shakes of heads as the fourth member of the group continued to be unconscious. "H-How is that even possible!? How can you not embrace the word of rock and metal!"

"What is this word that you speak of? Is it of love and passion?" Cadance asked, getting a rather negative look from the two other conscious princesses and a glance to Twilight showed that her face was even making a 'that is a stupid question' look.

"Sometimes! The word of metal and rock is to live life to the fullest and do what you wanna do! Who cares what the higher-ups say, you gotta live life to the fullest!" Sid said, turning his back to the four as he reached into his coffin-mobile and pulled from it a 'kicking' guitar. This was his baby, a Fender Stratocaster with custom detailing to give it a rather 'metal' appearance. The thing nearly costed him an arm and a leg, literally, but it was certainly worth it to hold this piece of legend in his hands. He turned back to the group in front of him, a frown on Celestia's face as she sighed.

"Look, as much as I would love to get to know you, Sid, I think it is best you leave." Celestia said, her eyes turning to the large scorch marks on the wall that this homosapien had appeared from. Her horn began to light up as the doors to the throne opened and quite a few guards entered the throne room. "Do you have any last words before I return you to your realm?" Celestia asked, done with the silliness of the situation and Sid could only nod his head.

"Just a few, Celestia." He said, jumping onto the hood of his vehicle, his foot stomped on a hidden button as a massive group of amplifiers seemed to burst from every inch of the vehicle. "Gonna need some back up; Tirek, Discord!" He called out, a split second passing as that familiar mixture of creatures seemed to materialize out of thin air with a bass guitar wrapped around his shoulders. Tirek on the other hand came crashing through the ceiling, a large hole being left in his wake as he landed next to the vehicle with a wide assortment of drums at the ready.

"W-What?! How do you three even know each other?" Celestia asked, rather flabbergasted that this creature, who had only moments ago shown that he knew nothing of this place, was able to call upon two of the most well known villains to help him.

"What can I say? They embrace the word!" He said, his hand quickly strumming the guitar in front of him as Tirek began to bring in a beat with his drums. "Alright, I got something to say!" Sid said, cutting in with his guitar as a mic dropped down in front of his face. The guards and princesses could only look on in fascination as the group began to play their music.

"Yeah, It's better to burn out. Yeah, than fade away!" He screamed, Discord popping in at this point to follow with his own bass strumming. It seemed that two of the Princesses were getting into the music, both being Luna and Cadance while Celestia continued to be sour by this scene.

"Rise up, gather round! Rock this place to the ground! Burn it up, let's go for broke! Watch the night go up in smoke!" He sung, his feet stomping on the hood on his coffin-mobile as Tirek and Discord both began to get into the song as well. The crowd of guards only seemed to get into the groove as the song seemed to broadcast itself all over Canterlot due to the reverberation of the castle and the loud amps connected to the instruments.

"Rock on," He sung, both players next to him miming the words as he jumped from the hood from his car. "Drive me crazier. No serenade, no fire brigade, just pyromania, c'mon!" He sung, gripping the mic as the guards seemed to really get into the song, some dancing in place while others began to start a mosh-pit and swing at one another. A look outside the window only showed that the streets of Canterlot were being filled with party goers as well.

"What do you want?" He called out, the trio repeating those words as the crowd of guard ponies and civilians seemed to call out in response.

"I WANT ROCK N' ROLL!"

"Yes I do." Sid said, a large smile on his lips as if responding to the group.

"LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL!"

"Oh let's go, let's strike a light, we're gonna blow like dynamite. I don't care if it takes all night, gonna set this town alight, c'mon!" Sid called out, looking out at the group of guards behind him, Luna and Cadance swaying their heads to the beat as he threw up the Sign of the Horns once more. The guards each threw up a hoof in response as he broke it down once more.

"What do you want?"

"What do you want?"

"I WANT ROCK N' ROLL!"

"Alright!"

"LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL!"

"Rock of ages! Rock of ages! Still rollin'! Rock n' Rollin'!" He yelled, a collective cacophony of voices answering in response as the guards and civilians called out in response and followed word after word of the song. Even Cadance's and Luna's voices got into the groove as they responded with their canterlot voices. Celestia could only sigh, her head shaking as she slowly stood from her throne and left the room. Even now some fires and smoke could be seen rising from the city below.

"Now listen to me! I'm burnin, burnin, I got the fever, I know for sure, there ain't no cure. So feel it, don't fight it, go with the flow! Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme one more for the road, yeah!"

"What do you want?"

"What do you want?"

"I WANT ROCK N' ROLL!"

"You betcha!"

"LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL!"

The song began to wind down, the entire castle and town in chaos as ponies jammed out to the music and caused destruction to everything around them. Sid could only look on with a smile on the face and a tear in his eyes. The sight was beautiful, these ponies had embraced the word of rock and metal so easily. I-It, It was beautiful.

The song ended with a quick strum of his guitar and a collective cheer rang out from everyone as they clapped, whoop'd and threw their hooves into the air. Cadance and Luna quickly descended from their seats as they hugged Sid tightly.

"We now know what you mean by the lords and saviors, rock and metal. We shall spread their word and embrace them!" Luna said, the look of true happiness on her face as both she and Cadance nuzzled as the human that pet them before breaking away and jumping into his car.

"That is good to hear, I have dimensions to roam and rock to spread." Sid said, a quick kick to a button on the driver's side caused the amps to once again become concealed by the metal of his coffin-mobile and a portal to open on the wall directly in front of the vehicle. "I trust you both to do a good job!"

"B-But will you ever come back?"

"Silly pony, I will forever be, right here." He said, his index finger lightly pressing against the chests of both of the princesses as he started up his coffin-mobile and revved the engine. "Keep rocking out, YYYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!" He yelled, racing through the portal which quickly closed behind him. The two princesses watched, tears in their eyes as once of the most beautiful being left them to travel about and spread the word. The two band mates grinned to each other, leaving with a couple of guards as they wandered towards the burning Canterlot and the princesses hoof bumped and left the throne room.

It was about that time that Twilight came too, her violet eyes looking around the room as she grimaced at the sight of two scorch marks on the walls and even paled at the sigh of smoke rising from the city below.

"W-What the! What did I miss!"
