Tom is a boy whose originally dutch, but after a plane crash, he came into a special US army training camp, where childeren are trained from their age of 10, to become masters of the battlefield. When he is on a mission, he ends up in Equestria, where he tries to get new friends, and adapt to the life there.

"Time to wake up ladies" called General Hike. Tom woke up from his sleep and tried to look at his alarm clock, which he didn't have. "What time is it?" asked Tom when he got out of bed. "It's Five in the morning, now get prepared for briefing, I want you all there at 5:30, so you better be quick." Tom and his squadmembers directly went to the showers, and after that they went to the cafetaria for breakfast. At 5:27 they were finished with preparing and went off to the Main Tent. "Good morning ladies," general Hike said when everyone sat down. "today, we are starting our assault at the ruins, so listen, I'm not explaining this again" the general said. "Blaze, you and your squad attack from the west side, Storm you and your squa...."
When Briefing was finished, they went off to their barracks to get their equipment. After that, they went to the helicopters. "Today it's finally time." Ghost said, with a big smile on his face. Tom looked at him "Yea, whoohoo, I can't wait." he said sarcasticly. "Well sorry, I didn't know you are on your period." Ghost said with an even bigger smile. Tom deadspanned at Ghost, who just smiled even bigger. They arrived at the helicopters, and after a few moments, they were up high, on their way to the castle. Tom was staring out of the window, with his necklace in his hand. "What's up with you and that necklace?" Ghost asked. "You always touch it when we're going on a mission.". Tom looked at his friend. "It's the only thing I have left of my parents, and is has always given me luck. 'Keep this with you, and it will be the key to a happy life' my dad used to say, so I've always kept it, and sofar my life isn't bad, so I think it actually works." "I've never believed in that shit. " Ghost said. "You have to fight for a happy life, that's why I joined the army. Why did you join it?" Tom stared out of the window as he started to tell. "I originally come from the Netherlands, when I was 10, me and my family moved to the U.S.A., because my father had a new job there. But before we even arrived, it already went wrong. Our plain was struck by lighting, so we the power went out, and one motor was burning. We crashed down at an open field. My parents and I sat in the middle of the plain, which is the most stable part. When we hit the ground, the only thing I had, we some broken bones and some bruises. The other passengers where all dead, including my parents." Tom went silent for a moment. "When the emergency team arrived, I had already left the plane, sitting all alone on field. When they asked what I did there, I explained it to them, and they were totally shocked. I was sent to the hispital, where I had to stay for some days. Someday, someone from the police came to ask me about what happened. I told them everything I knew. After that, they asked if I had more familly. Sadly, I had not, so they sent me to an orphanage. When I was there for a week, the police came again, but this time with a strange question. If I wanted to join the army, so I would be trained from my age of 10, so I could became masters of the battlefield. I had nothing left, and the orphanage bored me, so I said yes. And now, After years of training, I'm here, in this helicopter, with you and the other squadmembers on a mission to capture a ruin". Tom smiled when he said that last part, but he felt sad inside. Ghost was shocked because of his story, then he, the smartass as he is, said: "Well, I don't really call that a happy life, so I don't think that that necklace works." Tom deadspanned at him, wanted to say something, but then then they saw the light starting to flash, which ment they had to get ready to be dropped.
When they got everything ready, the green light started glowing, which ment they had to jump. "Go, go, go." Tom said as his squadmembers jumped out. He went as last, deployed his wingsuit, and he started gliding through the air. From where he was watching up high, he saw that the assault had started down beneath him. The Squad landed on one of the towers, and nobody had seen them. "Okay, here's the plan, Ghost, Grass and Snow, you go in and cause distraction, so me and Helix can get to their pwer generator. If we are not back in 20 minutes, you gotta get the Hell out of here and report us MIA, understood?" Everybody nodded. "Alright then, let's do this".
Ghost, Grass and Snow went in, and after a few minutes, Tom and Grass heard shooting from inside, so they went in. They activated their optical camoflage, and started moving to the power source. They were halfway there, but Tom a little clicking sound. "Grass, watch ou" BOOM. Grass exploded before Tom's eyes. Tom became covered in blood. Luckily he had an helmet on, so nothing went in his eyes. Tom then threw and EMP grenade, and he EMP'ed the security systems. He got Grass' dogtags, and he continued alone. He arrived at the power source, and he turned off the power. When he did that, he noticed that there was light coming out of his vest. He found out that the source was his necklace. When he got it out of his vest, a place in the wall started shining. He went to the light, and felt that there was a hole, which had the exact same form as his necklace. He tried to fit it in, and when he pushed it in the hole, the whole wall started schaking. Tom was shocked, while he watched the wall opening, and behind it, was a secret room.
Tom went in, and when he entered, the wall closed behind him. Tom found out he was trapped. He looked around, and saw a strange hole in the ground. Since there was no other way he could go, he went in the hole. He found himself falling, and falling, and falling, and he reached such speed, that he went unconsicous. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom found himself waking up in castle ruins. "Where am I?" He asked himself, not expecting an answer. He saw that he was in different castle ruins then the one where he had his mission. He started to scan the surounding area and tried to message his HQ. "HQ, this is Blaze, over." He heard nothing. "HQ, this is Blaze, over." Again he heard nothing. The scan was complete, and he saw there were other life forms, heading his way. He quickly acitvated his optical camoflage, and sat down behind two big thrones. He heard talking, and hold his M27 ready. But when he saw what was coming, he was shocked: he saw talking ponies, some with wings and horns. They left the castle, and since he had nothing to do, he followed them into a big forest. He finally heard what they said. "... and that's why Fluttershy and I went to the castle. I would have never thought that you would go there too." he heard one say with a "high class" accent. "Why did you go there Twilight?" "Well, I went there wi..." She stopped mid sentence and turned around. "What's wrong Sugarcube?" a orange colored one asked so called Twilight. "I think we're being followed." She said "I'll go and look." a cyan colored winged one said. It flew towards him, and he thought he was caught. But he forgot he had optical camouflage on, so it didn't see him. "Nothing here." the cyan colored said. "Hmm, strange, I would swear I feel an other being there." 'How could she feel a being Tom asked himself. "I think it's just the forest creeping you out, because there's nothing here." the cyan one said. "Well, if you say so, Rainbow." The orange colored said. They continued walking and talking, and Tom still followed them.
After a few minutes, they arrived at the edge of the forest, and Tom saw them leaving. He hid behind some trees, and deactivated his camoflage. He saw the it was almost empty, and it had for 5 minutes invisibility left. He had to recharge it somehow, so he had to do it with a little solar pannel, which comes with his gear. He got out of the forest and sat in the sun so it would recharge. When he went back into the forest after 1 hour, it was only recharged for 3 minutes longer invis. It went night, so he started on a little base, ate some food reserves, drank some water, and he went to sleep.
"SPIKE!!! Have you seen my saddle bag?" Twilight Sparkle called. "Yes Twi, they're here." Spike answered. He handed the saddlebag over to Twilight, "Thanks Spike" Twilight said gratefully. "No problem Twi, that's why I'm your number one assistant." Spike looked curious. "Where do you need them for anyway, because it's sunday, and the shops are closed." "I am going to the castle ruins, because I forgot to take a certain book with me yesterday." Twilight answered. "Wait, YOU forgot something? Well that's new." "Shut up Spike, forgetting things is one of the things that makes us ponies, or dragons in your case." "I guess your right." Spike replied. "Wait, does that mean I'm home alone for the day?" Spike asked with a giant smile on his face. "Yes, that means you a..." Twilight was cut off mid sentence because Spike pushed her out of the library. "OK then, see you later Twi." said Spike when he quickly closed the door. Twilight sighed, and started moving to the castle ruins. "Hey Twi" Twilight heard someone call. She turned around and saw it was Rainbow Dash. "Hi Rainbow, how are you?" Twilight replied. "I'm fine" Rainbow replied "what are you up to so early in the morning?" "I'm going back to the castle ruins, because I forgot a book." "Well, I'd wish I could go with you, but I got some work to be done, so cya." Rainbow flew off. "See you later Rainbow" After a few minutes, she saw the forest dooming up, and she went of into it.
Tom woke up after a long night by the sound of footsteps. When he looked where it came from, he saw the purple pony from yesterday walking on the path. He was scared that she went looking for him, since she "felt" he was there yesterday, but she just kept moving on, so he calmed down, and started on breakfast. He had enough food for two days left, so he thought to himself that he should start later on. He decided that he would go and sit outside the forest, she his camoflage would recharge. He sat down there for 30 minutes, and then he got bored, so he went of practicing with his knife, the weapon where his training started with, and after that some jogging around the edge of the forest. He did that the rest of the morning, and then he got hungry, so he started to get some lunch. When he was finished lunching, he was bored, so he started hunting. He took his M27 and his Desert Eagle (Deagle) with him, and started looking for animals. He found a dear, who was eating some grass. He reacted quickly. He pulled out his Deagle, swithed the safety switch off, aimed and.. BOOM, Headshot. The dear was instantly dead, with it's head exploded. Tom quickly took out his knife, and started to clear the dear of fur and other uneatible stuff. When he was finished, he buried the useless parts, took the flesh with him, wrapped up in the hide of the dear, and moved back to his camp. Then he heard a strange noise, and after that a scream. He immediatly ran to the source, and he saw the purple pony, pressed against a tree, with 3 big wooden wolves around her.
Twilight got the book, so she went back to Ponyville. Halfway back, she heard a big bang. Twilight, curious as always, went of looking what it was that made that bang. She left the path and starting walking into the forest itself. After a few moments, she came at the source, and she saw an strange creature, cutting a dear in peaces with a knife. Twilight silently crawled away. Suddenly she heard a growling sound behind here. When she turned she saw three timberwolves. Before she could react, one of the swiped here. She let out a scream, while she flew against a tree. The timberwolves surounded her. She thought that would be her last seconds. But when one of the wolves aproached her, she a strange noise, and saw a flash, and after that there was a knife stuck in the head of the wolf. She looked at the place where the knife came from, and saw the strange creature, now holding a sort of tube, and she heard loud bangs. She closed her eyes, because of the flashes coming from the strange tube. When she opened them again, she saw the timberwolves, fully penetrated with holes, lying on the ground. Suddenly she felt something touch her, and she looked, just to find out it was that strange creature that saved her. "Thank God, are you Okay" it asked. "You can talk?" Twilight asked in shock " And what are you anyway?" "Well, I'm a human, aka Homo Sapiens, and yes, I speak English, as you can hear." "English? No, you are talking Equestrian" "No, I'm certainly talking English, but anyway, my name's Tom Jacobs, but my code name's Blaze, I work for the US Army, in a special force" "Well, greetings Tom, my name's Twilight Sparkle, Element and Princess of Magic" "Well greetings Twili...Wait, you're a Princess?" "Well, yes, I am, but I don't really rule anything, I've been a princess for only few months. I do have a castle though, which I have since two weeks ago." "So I am only like one and a half day here, and I already saved an princess? Well, that's certainly a new record." Twilight chuckled a bit at his reaction. "Yea, I guess it indeed is. But just a little question, how did you get here?" Tom told Twilight what happened. "And that's how I got here." He ended his story. "Hmm, that's certainly strange, I should talk to princess Celestia and princess Luna about this." "Two other princesses, how many of those does this land have?" "Well this land three, me, Celestia and Luna, but there's also princess Cadence, who rules the Crystal Empire, which is a sort of state in Equestria." They talked a bit more about Equestria and planet Equis. "I'm getting hungry" Tom said "we should really get some food. "Yea, I'm getting hungry too, why don't you come with me to Ponyville, you can have a room in the castle." "Well, if you really don't mind, I would like that" Tom replied "sleeping on the ground isn't very nice." He said with a painful face. "Follow me then." Twilight said. "Can I get my stuff from my camp first?" Tom asked? "Sure, no problem." They went to Tom's camp, got his stuff, and went of to Ponyville.
When Tom woke up the next morning, he first didn't remember where he was. Then he realised that he was in Twilight's castle. He took a shower, dressed him self and went to the kitchen to get some food. When he entered, he saw everybody was already awake. "Mornin' Twi, mornin' Spike" he said. "Morning Tom" Twilight and Spike replied. Tom got himself some cereal, and sat down at the table. "Tom, could you tell a bit more about Humans?" Twilight asked. "Sure, ask away." and he immediatly wanted he did not say that. He got loaded with questions, and that went for one and a half hour. When they were finally finished, Twilight thanked Tom for his "interview" about Humans. "No problem Twi, least I can do for you letting me stay in your castle." "That's no problem Tom, I mean, you also saved my life from those timberwolves." "Anyone would have done the same thing." Tom replied. "But you were the one who did it, so I owe you my life." "Again, it's no problem Twi. But now something else, when am I going to meet your friends?" "We could go now if you want." Twilight responded "Yea, would be nice, lead the way." They first went of to Sugercube Corner, to meet Pinkie Pie. When they entered, Tom almost immediatly got thrown down on the ground, with a pink pony jumping on his chest. "Hey Twi, whose your friend, and what is your friend, I have never seen anything like it before." Pinkie Pie asked Twilight. "Umm, can you please get of me, I am sort of being squished into the ground by you." Tom asked Pinkie. "Ow, I'm sorry, because, I know everypony in Ponyville, and since I didn't know you, means that you're new, which means you don't have friends, which mean that you're lonely, which makes me sad, so I really like to be friends with you, because I'm friends with everypony here." she said while she got of Tom. "Well, what if you tell me your name first, my name's Tom Jacobs, code name Blaze, I am a soldier of the US Army's special forces. I am an Human from planet Earth." "My name is Pinkie Pie, but all of my friends call my Pinkie" that last part she said with a big smile on here face. "I am an pony from Equis, and also the Element of Laughter." "Nice to meet you Pinkie." Tom replied "Nice to meet you too Tom. OOWW, I gotta prepare a Welcome to Equis and Equestria and Ponyville party for you, cya!" she said while ran of. "Is she always like that?" Tom asked Twilight. "Most of the time, yes." Twilight replied. Well, let's head on to Carousel Boutique, to meet my friend Rarity."
When they arrived at Rarity's, Tom almost face palmed. 'Are you fucking serious' Tom thought to himself, looking at the building. 'Well, they are very creative at names here' They entered, and Tom almost chocked from all the parfumes in there. 'Is so much parfume even allowed?' Then the heard footsteps coming towards them. "Welcome to carousel Boutique." Rarity said. Then she saw Twilight. "Ow hi Twilight, darling, what can I.do..for.... WHAT IN CELESTIAS NAME IS THAT FOR A MONSTER!?!?!!" She screamed well noticing Tom. Twilight tried to calm her down. "Wow, calm down," she said "this here is Tom, he's a Human." Rarity, still scared as shit, looked back to Twilight. "A Human, what the hay is that? Is it dangerous? What does it do here?" Twilight wanted to reply, but Tom took initiative. "Well, I come from planet Earth, got accidently teleported to this world filled with talking ponies, camped in the forest, saved a princess from wooden wolves, slept in a castle, met a real dragon, got pushed over by a strange pink pony, almost face palmed at the 'creative' names you ponies have here, and last and not least, a pony screamed at me, calling me a monster." Tom said in one breath. "And that all in only 3 days. Ow, I almost forgot, I'm very dangerous, but only when people are attacking me. This was my lecture, any questions?" Rarity, as well as Twilight, were both gaping at Tom's outburst. Tom chuckled a bit at their reactions. "I should really make a picture of this, the looks on your faces are priceless." He said while they were still shocked. They both quickly went back to normal. "Well, that was, umm, interesting?" Twilight said with a quistioning face. "Yes, very interesting, now, when you are both quiet, I can finally introduce myself." He said while walking to Rarity. "Hello, my names Tom Jacobs, AKA Blaze, I'm a soldier from the US Army's special forces." "Umm, yes, Well greeting, I'm Rarity, owner of Carousel Boutique, and element of Generousity." "Nice to meet you, Rarity." "Nice to meet yo.. Wait, what did you say about saving a princess?" she asked? Tom told her about what happened, with Twilight filling in the parts he left out. "Well, thank you for helping Twilight out." Rarity said when Tom finished. "That's no problem, anyone would have done the same thing." Tom said. Rarity then noticed Tom's clothes. "Tom, darling, that clothes look amazing." She said. "Well, it's just a regular US-SpecOps, nothing too rare." Tom answered. "That might be where you come from, but I think it's amazing." Rarity said. "Hey Tom" Twilight asked "doesn't that light grey catch attention, I mean, when you're out in the forest or anything?" "Well, when you're operating in a city, this helps more, plus, this gear has more to ever then some gray colored camoflage." "What do you mean?" Twilight asked? "Well, I'll show you." Tom said while activating his OC (Optical Camoflage). Rarity and Twilight were both a bit shocked. "How did you do that?" Twilight asked while Tom turned back visible "I don't sence anykind of magic being used." "Because this doesn't work with magic, this works with electricity." Tom replied with a smile. "With electricity?" Twilight asked curious "You have lighting stored in your suit?" Tom laughed a bit at Twilights reaction. "No, back at Earth we have giant power generators generating electricity." Tom explained "We can also use solarpanels like this one to get electricity." he said while showing his solarpanel. "Solarpanel? Does that mean you get electricity from the sun!?!?" "Well, yes, but it won't go really quick, because this is just a small one, if I had more, or a bigger one, it would give me more electricity, but since I don't have more, I'll just have to do it with this one." "I could use a duplication spell on it." Twilight offered. "If you're sure you can do that, we can try that out, but I think we should get moving on to your other friends, because I think Rarity wants to work on with a dress." Tom said while he noticed Rarity getting a bit nervous. "Ho..how did you know I was working on a dress?" Rarity asked "Are you a physic or something?" "No, when in training for the army, we got lessons on how to see if someone is like nervous or something like that." Tom responded "It's good for interrogating someone, since you can notice if he is lying or not. I saw you were a bit nervous, and since you work in a boutique, it was the first thing that came up to me. But anyway, thanks for your hospitality, but I think me and Twilight should be going, cya." Tom said, leaving behind a shocked Rarity. "Well, I'm learning new things from you everytime." Twilight said. "So am I from this world, but where are we heading next?" Tom asked. "We are now going to visit Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres."
It was quite a distance to Sweet Apple Acres, but Tom and Twilight killed the time by talking about all the features of Tom's gear. When they arrived at the farm, Tom saw some shaking trees in the distance. "What the fuck is that?" Twilight looked at the point where Tom was pointing at. "I think that's Applejack busy bucking apple trees." Twilight explained. They headed of towards the shaking trees, and saw Applejack bucking some trees. "Hi AJ" Twilight called. Applejack looked around and saw Twilight and Tom walking to her. "Hi Twi, what's that thing following ya?" "This here is Tom, he is a Human." Tom walked towards Applejack to shake her han..errr...hoof. "Hello, my name's Tom Jacobs, code name Blaze, I am a soldier of the US Army's special forces." "Nice to meet yah Tom, mah name's Applejack, element of Honesty, and this here is Sweet Apple Acres." She said while pointing at her surroundings. "Nice to meet you too Appleja..." He was cut of by a child voice yelling. "Applejack, that fox is there again, if you're fast you might catch him." a little yellow filly with a red mane called. "Thanks for waring little sis, right on it." Applejack said while running off. Tom, Twilight and Apple Bloom quickly followed her. "Ow shoot, he already got one." Applejack said "We never gonna catch that one now." "You care if the fox dies?" Tom asked. "Umm, no , why yo.." She was cut off by Tom getting his M27 out. He switched safety off, aimed, and fired. Loud bangs were coming from his gun, which caused to shock everypony around him. Then they all looked at the fox, and saw it lying still on the ground, with blood around it. "Is...it...dead?" Apple Bloom asked while being shocked. "Yea, I think so, I've never seen something not dieing from a clear headshot." Tom said just normally. "How did ya do that?" AJ asked. "Quite simple, I shot him down with my gun." Tom said looking at AJ "Never heard of a gun?" "Well, no." AJ said while looking scared at the M27. "Is that the something you used to save me?" Twilight ask looking curious. "Yea, it is." Tom said "Don't you have guns here in Equestria?" "No, we haven't." Twilight replied "How does it work?" Tom started to explain. "Well, this thing basically shoots a little lead ball faster then sound. When you shoot one of those things in something's head, well, you see the results." "So ya mean to say, that that little thing shoot things flying faster then sound?!?! I thought Rainbow was the only one who could go faster then sound." "If you think this thing is little," Tom said pointing at his M27 "then you should see this thing, it shoots at almost the same speed, but is just a little less powerful." he said while grabbing his Deagle. "The bigger one, the M27, is effective 800 meters far. The little one, the Desert Eagle, is effective at 200 meters. Back at the castle, I also have a even bigger one, a DSR-1, is effective at 1500 meters far." Everybody looked amazed, and also scared at him. "s..s.so you mean to say, that you can kill anypony at a range of 1500 meters!?!" Twilight said. "Well, yes, I can, but it's very hard to aim at such a distance, but theoritically it's possible." They all looked more scared at him. "Wow, calm down, sheez, it's not that I'm going to kill everybody I see." Tom said trying to calm them down. "I'm only using this guns for self defence, or when it is really needed for me to use them, like here with the fox." The other ones calmed down a bit, but were still scared. "Well, ah wish ah could talk more, but ah really gotta clean up that mess, and ah still have many apple trees to be bucked, so see y'all later." AJ said while she walked off. "Okay, cya later AJ." Twilight said. "So, what are we going to do now?" Tom asked. "Now, now we're heading to Fluttershy's."
Thet arrived at Fluttershy's cottage, and saw that Fluttershy was feeding her animals. 'I..is that a bear?!?' Tom thought to himself while he saw a bear sitting on the ground eating some stuff. "Hey Fluttershy" Twilight called. Fluttershy looked over to Twilight and Tom. "Hi Twilight, emm, what's that thing with you, I've never seen anything like it." "This here is Tom, he's a Human." "Ow hi there big boy, are you hungry, I have something spare for you." Fluttershy said to Tom thinking he was a animal. Tom raised his eyebrow at Fluttershy's reaction. "Ow, whose a good boy, whose a good boy." Fluttershy said while she stroked Tom's hair. "Umm, Fluttershy, what are you doing?" Twilight aksed while trying to resist laughing. "Well, I'm just trying to let him feel comfortable, something wrong with that?" Fluttershy said giving a strange look at Twilight. "Emm, Twilight, she knows that I can talk right?" Tom said. Fluttershy eeped when she heard Tom talk. "Oww, I..I'm sorry Tom." Fluttershy said with a little voice. Tom just smiled at her. "Well, no problem, you were actually the first one who wasn't scared by me or attacked me." Tom said while he shook her hoof. "My name's Tom, Tom Jacobs, but my name in the US Army is Blaze, nice to meet you." "M..my name's fluttershy, element of Kindness, and I take care of the animals here around Ponyville." "Aren't you afraid they are going to attack you or something, I mean, there a fucking bear in your backyard." "Oh no, Harry would never do such things to anypony, he's a very good friend." "Well, if you say so." A white bunny came over to Fluttershy and started stomping the ground with a bowl in his hand. "Oh well hi there Angel, you want food?" Fluttershy asked while she saw Angel pointing at the bowl. Angel nodded. "Ok, I'll get it ready for you." After that she went to Tom and Twilight. "Well, I gotta go and feed angel, so I see you later." "Yea bye Fluttershy, cya." Tom and Twilight said as they went back to the castle.
When Tom and Twilight arrived at the castle, it was completely dark inside. "Emm, Twi, why are the lights out?" Tom asked. "I don't know, but I will teleport in." Twilight said as she powered up her teleportation spell. Tom waited outside for 10 minutes, and he started to get bored. 'Screw this, I'm going in.' He thought to himself. When he entered the castle, it was completely dark inside. "SURPRISE" was yelled when the lights went back on. When he could finally see again, he saw ponies everywhere, a very big cake, a very big sign saying "Welcome to Equis and Ponyville Tom!" and a VERY excited Pinkie Pie. "Where you suprised, were ya, were ya, were ya?!?!?" Pinkie Pie asked Tom with a big smile plastered to her face. "Yes, very surprised, nobody has ever thrown such party for me, thank you Pinkie." Tom said with a big smile. "I'm glad you like it, 'cause I was really nervo-cited to throw this party, because you are a pony from another world, which made me very excited, but you're still from another world,so I didn't know what you liked, which caused me to be really nervous to throw you a good party, and I see that you're happy, and to see you're happy makes me happy, whi....." Pinkie was stopped by a certain cyan hoof in her mouth. "I thinks he understands what you mean, Pinkie." Rainbow Dash said. "Why don't you go and eat some cake?" "Ooohh, cake!" Pinkie said when she ran of towards the big cake. "Thanks for saving me from that pink tornado, Rainbow, I don't know how much longer I could have survived that." Tom said laughing. "Anytime Tom, but anyway, wanna play some games?" RD asked. "Sure, why not." Tom said while he followed RD. "Nice, but please don't cry when I beat your sorry flank." RD said. "We'll see about that RD." Tom said laughing."We'll see about that."
Later that evening, when the party was over, Tom, Twilight and Pinkie were cleaning up the party. "I can't believe you beat Rainbow Dash in the games." Twilight said. "Nobody has ever beaten her before, well, except for Pinkie here." "Well, some games looked a bit like militairy training excersizes, like throwing balls into the holes, which looked like grenade throwing training. We had to do that untill we never failed, so it was pretty easy for me. But I actually only beat her in one game, and that was Pin the Tail on the Pony, we were tied in the other games." When everything was done, Pinkie went back home, and Twilight and Tom went to bed.
Tom found himself lying in a grass field, which was completely empty, except for a hill with a tree in the middle. He walked up to the tree and looked around, seeing nothing but grass. 'Where the hell am I, and how did iI get here?' Tom thought to himself. He looked around once again, still seeing nothing. Suddenly, there was a shadow next to him. The shadow slowly formed into a pony, which was very dark blue, with a mane and tail that were aetherial, which looked like the night sky. The pony also had a horn, and wings too. "Umm, hello?" Tom asked the pony. "Who are you, and did you bring me here, and if so, why?" "I am princess Luna, co-ruler of Equestria, and Princess of the Night, and no, I did not bring you here, because this is all a dream." "So, if this is a dream, then why are you here?" Tom asked. "Well, since I am the Princess of the Night, it's my job to make sure that everypony sleeps well, without nightmares. When I was looking for nightmares, I saw a new dream demension, so I went in to look who it was from, and now I'm here." Tom was a bit confused, but he just went with it. "So, I am currently in a dream?" Tom asked. "Yes you are, but so you mind telling me who and what you are?" Luna asked Tom. "Oh, yes, sorry, My name is Tom Jacobs, I am a Human from Earth." Tom explained. "So you are from an other demension then?" Luna asked. "Well, yes, I was on a mission, because I am a soldier by the way, and it was in an old castle. When I was there, I found a secret room, which went to a portal, which sent me to some castle ruins in the forest near ponyville. And then, after some walking, life saving, more walking, talking, etc., I ended up sleeping in a castle owned by princess Twilight Sparkle." "Aha, so yo... Wait, did you just say life saving?" Luna asked. "Umm, well, yea, when I was walking around in the forest, I heard some screams, and when I went looking, I saw Twilight driven in a corner by some big wooden wolf things, so I killed that wolves and with that saved Twilight, after that, we went to her castle, met some new ponies today, got a party thrown for me, and now I'm sleeping here in a castle, with a pony princess talking to me in my dream, sooooo.... I've been bussy." "Well, I hereby want to thank you for saving Twilight then, and I will talk to my sister about this, but for now, I got to go, because I also have to go to Night Court, so I will talk to you later." Tom woke up the next morning to the smell of pancakes. 'Are that pancakes? Man, I missed that smell.' Tom said to himself while he went to the kitchen. When he entered, he saw Twilight busy cooking pancakes. "Morning Twi, you making pancakes?" Tom asked "Moring Tom, yea, I am making pancakes, want some?" "You bet, but why are you making them yourself, I mean, don't you have like a cook or something, since you're a princess and stuff?" "Well, I just don't like ponies doing stuff that I can do myself, and besides, it's not too much work to just bake some pancakes." Twilight responed. "You know, I can respect that, that you're not using your influence for that kind of stuff." Tom said with a smile while he got his pancakes serverd. "Thanks Twi." He quickly savored all the pancakes. "Man, it's been a long time since I had pancakes." Tom said with a satisfied look on his face. "Well, we eat pancakes every sunday morning." Twilight said "Can you maybe wake Spike for breakfast?" "Sure, no problem." Tom went to Spike's chamber, and went in. "Yo, Spike, breakfast is rea.. What are you doing?" Tom asked when he saw Spike looking threw a telescope. "Not looking at Rarity or anything like that, heheh." Spike said with a shocked look on his face. "So, the big dragon has a crush on the little pony fashionista?" Tom asked with a laugh. "Yes, err, no, err, maybe?" Spike said with a blush. "Hey, no problem man, I won't tell her or anything, but I think you might want to stop looking at her with a telescope." "Why that?" Spike asked. "Because everybody on the street is looking at you." Tom said. Spike slowly turned around to see everypony on the street looking at him standing in front of his window with a telescope pointed at Rarity's. "I think you're right." He said as he quickly closed his window and the curtains. "Well buddy, breakfast's ready, so you might wanna hurry before it's cold." And with that they went back to the kitchen. When breakfast was finished, Tom went for a walk through Ponyville, and went to the park, where just sat for a bit, listening some music from his Samsung, and thinking about the whole thing that happened. A few hours later he went to sugercube corner for some lunch, and after that he went back to the park, only to be stopped by Twilight. "Tom, the princess sent me a message, and we need to go to Canterlot to see them."
"So, the princesses want to see if I am a threat or not?" Tom asked while he and Twilight were on a carriage on their way to Canterlot. "Yes, they need to know if you're a threat to their subjects, but it's more a formality then anything else since you already saved me back in the Everfree Forest." Twilight explained. "If you say so, but I'm still a bit nervous." Tom said. After one and a half hour they finally arrived at Canterlot. They went for a walk in the city first, and after that they went to the castle, where they were escorted through the halls to the throne room. "Wait here, we will inform you when the princesses are ready to see you, princess Sparkle, follow me please, the princesses want to talk to you." The guard told them. Tom nodded and waved goodbye to twilight. After a few minutes, the guard came back. "The princesses are ready to see you." The guard informed Tom. The big doorst to the throne room opened, and Tom walked in. Tom was astonished by the looks of the throne room. Then he looked at the princesses. One was snow white, with an aetherial mane and tail, and a mark of the sun on both her flanks, and he supposed that she was Celestia. The other one, was the same he saw in his dream, and he knew she was called Luna. 'Why is everybody giving me those strange looks?' Tom thought to himself 'Maybe it's just because I'm not a pony.' He saw the princesses whispering to each other, and wondered what it was about. Then Celestia cleared her throat. "Welcome Tom Jacobs, I am Princess Celestia, and this is my sister, Princess Luna. We called you here because we want to see if you are a threat or not to our subjects." She began. "And we were wondering, why didn't you bow to us?" Realization hit Tom hard as a hammer. 'So that's why everybody gave me strange looks.' "I don't bow to anyone why is royal, except if they have profen to be good a good ruler. Where I come from, rulers who could do whatever they wanted to do, most of the time abused their powers and were bad rulers. So that's why I don't bow to you unless you've profen yourself good rulers." Tom explained. It was completely silent, until Luna started to talk. "So that there has been peace in this country for thousands of years under our rule, doesn't mean anything to you?" Tom focused on Luna. "That there has been peace doesn't mean you're good rulers, so I will see for myself." Tom said. "Okay, but now let's get back to the main topic if you're a threat or not." Celestia said. "Would you mind if I look into you mind to look at your history and things like that?" Tom thought about that for a moment. "Well, I'm tempting to say no, because the idea of someone looking into your mind doesn't go well with me, and there is also some stuff in there that would give you nightmares for the next weeks, but on the other side, it's the easiest way to know my intentions and stuff, so I'm going to say yes, but I'm not responsible if you get a trauma from it." Tom answered. "Trust me, I've seen many things in my life, so I don't think I will get any traumas." Celestia answered. "So please, could you come over here so I can take a look?" Tom nodded and went over to Celestia. She placed her horn on his forehead, and then they both went into Tom's mind.
"I'm going to take a look, but if there are things you don't want me to see, then just think of being locked away in a safe, so I won't be able to see it." Celestia explained Tom. Tom nodded and began to store away some memories. After a few seconds, he was finished. "Okay, I'm done." Tom said. Celestia nodded and began to "absorb" all of the memories that were left. When she was done, she looked back at Tom. "You've stored away quite some memories, from your birth to your age of 15 almost nothing was stored away, but after that, there were many memories stored away, could you tell me why?" Celestia asked Tom. Tom looked at Celestia. "Because they would give you traumas, like I already told you earlier." "I have lived for thousands of years, so if you only stored them away because you thought I would get traumas, then just show them please." Celestia told Tom. "If you're sure..." Tom said, and with that, he released some of the memories from his missions in the army. Celestia first smiled at him that he released them, but that smile quicly faded when she saw all the dead bodies and all the other things he had seen. At the end she was on the edge of crying. "I told you you wouldn't like it." Tom said to Celestia. "I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that." Celestia said to Tom. "Just one of the things you have to go through in the army." Tom said "It takes time to process it all, but when I saw dead bodies like that the first time, I also was like you are now. Now I'm sort of used to seeing them, so it's easier to process for me. I hope you now understand why I didn't want to show them." "I understand now, and I also know that you won't hurt my subjects, unless they give you a good reason to." And with that they left Tom's mind.
"So I hereby declare, that the Human Tom Jacobs, now a citizen of Equestria is." Celestia said ending her little speech about Tom being allowed in Equestria. After that all her councillers left the throne room, with only luna, Celestia, Twilight and Tom remaining. "I have prepared two rooms for you both for the night, so you won't have to go back so late in the evening." Celestia said. "Thank you for your hospitality princess, but is it okay if I go out for a walk?" Tom asked. "Off course, why don't you go to the gardens of the palace?" Celestia said. "Thanks for the tip, but I have no idea where that would be, so can you show me the way?" Tom asked. "Well, I'm going to bed now, but Luna has just woken up, so she can show you the way." Celestia said. "Yes, if you would just follow me." Luna said. "Okay, see you guys tomorrow then." Tom said as he followed Luna. After a few moment they arrived at the gardens. "Do you mind if I join you on your walk?" Luna asked Tom. "Sure, why not." Tom said as he started walking throught the gardens. After a few minutes of walking around, looking at all the Flora and the Fauna, Tom lay down on a little open grass field, staring at the sky. "Umm, what are you doing?" Luna asked Tom. "Stargazing off course, why do you ask?" Tom asked Luna. "So you enjoy watching the night sky?" Luna asked Tom with a surprised look on her face. "Yea, back on Earth you most of the time couldn't see the stars thanks to polution. But here there is a beautiful night sky every night. Why do you ask? Don't ponies stargaze too?" "Well, you know, I as the Princess of the Night create the night sky, and as far as I know nopony has ever been stargazing, except for me and my sister sometimes. So, I'm flattered that you enjoy my night." Luna said with a light blush. "Well, I gotta say, you did a damn good job, I've never seen such beautiful night sky before I came to Equestria, but anyway, let's just go and continue watching." And after a hour of stargazing, Tom went to bed, and Luna went out looking for nightmares to fight.
