Gemstone woke up to the sound of birds. She was a purple unicorn filly with a pink mane. So she stood up and levitated her pink glasses to her face. She picked out a new outfit for her to wear. It was pink with white hearts on the skirt. Then she walked downstairs and ate breakfast with her family. Her parents were Rarity and Trenderhoof. And her siblings were Magnum and Hope Diamond. Magnum was a black unicorn colt with a white mane and a basketball as his cutie mark. Hope was a white unicorn filly with a light blue mane and a diamond as her cutie mark.
"Good morning Gemma", replied Rarity (Gemma was her nickname)
"You excited for your first day of 3rd grade?", asked Trend
"Yup", replied Gem
"How about you two?", asked Rarity refering to the twins "Are you excited about your first day of 11th grade?"
"Heck yeah", replied Magnum
"Indeed", added Hope Diamond
"C'mon you guys lets go", said Gem getting excited
"Ok Gem", said Rarity putting her backpack on her "But your Father and I have to leave for Canterlot in an hour. So your brother and sister are gonna have to walk you to school"
"I don't mind", replied Gem hugging Hope "I love spending time with Hope"
"Aw", replied Hope hugging back

"Ok kids off to school", said Trend
The three unicorn foals walked to the door and Gem hugged her parents.
Meteor Blitz woke up and found a book on his face. So he took it off his face and put his glasses on. He was a blue pegasus colt with a red mane. He walked to his calender and saw that it was the first day of school. He had a huge smile on his face. So he flew downstairs to meet his family. His parents were Rainbow Dash and Soarin. And his siblings are Razor Wind and Spectrum Chaser. Razor Wind is Meteor Blitz's older brother. He was a periwinkle pegasus with a silver mane with a couple saw blades in a breeze as his cutie mark. Spectrum Chaser is Meteor Blitz's twin sister. Believe it or not she earned her cutie mark. She was a coral pegasus with a rainbow mane and a rainbow aura as her cutie mark.
"Whoa squirt, what got you excited?", asked Dash
"Sorry Mom", apoligized Blitz "Im just really excited about school"
"What's so great about school?", asked Spectrum
"What's not so great about school?", asked Blitz
"Speaking of which, we should probably head out", said Dash
"Wait where's Dad?", asked Spectrum
"And where's Razor?", asked Blitz
"Your dad has a Wonderbolts meeting with Auntie Spitfire and Razor left 5 minutes ago to get a slice of apple pie from Sugarcube Corner", explained Dash "NOW LETS GO"
Sugar Sweets was woken up by the smell of peanut butter pancakes. So she grabbed her glasses and started to brush her mane. Sugar Sweets is a dark pink earth pony with a light pink mane. She has an eye disease that makes her cross eyed forever (I call it Derpitis). She also had dyslexia and foals would always make fun of her for it, but her brother would always defend her. She walked downstairs and saw her family eating pancakes. Her parents were Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. And her brother is Cheese Whiz. Cheese Whiz is a yellow earth pony with a brown mane and a slice of cheese as his cutie mark. Pinkie is 6 months pregnant.
"Morning Sugar", greeted Whiz
"Morning guys", replied Sugar "Peanut butter pancakes for breakfast right?"
"How'd ya know?", asked Pinkie
"I can smell it", replied Sugar
Pinkie giggled at her daughter's remark
"So, excited about school?", asked Cheese
"Not really", replied Sugar
"Why not?", asked Whiz "School is SUPER DEE DOOPERLY AWESOME"
"I just don't want all the foals to pick on me", explained Sugar "Especially…her"
"Relax Double-S", said Whiz "I heard that she's gonna attend Canterlot Academy"
"Ok, now Im ready for school", said Sugar getting excited "You think you can walk me, Whiz?"
"Okie Dokie Lokie", replied Whiz
"Bye Mom bye Dad", said Sugar walking out the door with Whiz
Apple Buck woke up to Angel bunny hopping on his chest. So he hugged the bunny and started to run around getting excited. Apple Buck (Or Buck as his friends call him) is a yellow earth pony with a red and yellow mane. He ran downstairs and hugged his family. His parents are Fluttershy and Big Macintosh and his sister is Autumn Leaves. Autumn Leaves is a orange pegasus with a light orange mane and a couple of leaves as her cutie mark. Fluttershy is also pregnant, but she's due in 5 months.
"Whoa somepony's excited", said Big Mac
"Yeah, cause today-", said Buck
"We know we know", interupted Autumn "The first day of school"
"I think it's adorable that he's excited about education", said Fluttershy kissing his head
"Im not excited about education", said Buck "Im excited to see my friends again…especially Spectrum Chaser"
"Oooooh somepony has a crush", teased Autumn noggying him
"Oh yeah, and what about you and Razor Wind?", teased Buck fixing his mane
"Shut up", replied Autumn blushing "Lets just get to school"
"Why so you can kiss your coltfriend?", teased Buck
Johnathan finished his early morning chores and decided to make breakfast for his family. He was an orange earth pony with a brown and blond mane. He grabbed the family rooster and made it cock-a-doodle-doo in the house. His family walked downstairs suprised about what he did. John's parents are Applejack and Caramel. His siblings are Bloomburg, Apple Heart, and Apple Sweets. Bloomburg is a brown earth pony colt with a dark green mane and an apple tree as his cutie mark. Apple Heart is a white earth pony filly with a reddish-pink mane with a red bow in it and her cutie mark was an apple in the shape of a heart. Apple Sweets is Apple Heart's twin sister. She's a brown earth pony with a reddish-pink mane and a caramel apple on a stick as her cutie mark.
"Johnny Boy, did you make all this?", asked Applejack
"Yeah", replied John "Im just really excited about school so I got up early, did my chores, and made breakfast"
"Aww thanks Johnny", said Apple Heart
"So girls, excited about 8th grade?", asked Caramel
"Kinda, but it's kinda sad that it's our last year of middle school", explained Heart
"I know right?", replied Sweets
"But just think that next year you'll be in high school with your brother", assured Applejack
"Speaking of which, we should probably go", said Bloomburg "C'mon girls"
Orion's alarm clock went off. He used his magic to destroy it and went back to sleep. Orion is a tan alicorn with a dark purple mane. Orion's older sister Love In The Mist (Or Misty as everyone calls her), went up to his room and tried to wake him up. Misty is a light purple alicorn with a dark blue mane with a magenta streak in it with a pink heart surrounded by blue mist as her cutie mark. Orion's parents are Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry. Other then Misty, he's gonna have another sibling because his mom is pregnant and was due in 7 months.
"Orion wake up", ordered Misty
"No", mumbled Orion
Misty conjoured an air horn and pressed the button which made a loud noise. Orion conjoured earplugs.
"UGH", groweled Misty
Misty grabbed one of Orion's pillows and started hitting him with it.
"Im up", mumbled Orion
Misty hit him again.
"Im up", mumbled Orion
Misty hit him a third time
"Im up", said Orion
Misty was about to hit him again but Orion grabbed the pillow and hit her with it.
"IM UP", yelled Orion
"Ok ok sheesh", replied Misty
They ate breakfast and were about to fly out the door.
"Wait, where's Mom and Dad?", asked Orion
"They had a doctor's appointment", explained Misty "Now let's go"
They flew out the door. Orion was sad that his parents weren't there to see him leave.
Zap Bolt woke up and started to fly to the bathroom to make his mane spikey. Zap Bolt is a blue pegasus with a yellow mane. He flew downstairs with great speed. His parents are Scootaloo and Rumble. Scootaloo hasn't changed much, but her mane was more spiky than ever. She became a famous scooter racer. Rumble on the other hand, became a Wonderbolt like his brother Thunderlane.
"Good morning Zap", said Scootaloo
"Ready for school?", asked Rumble
"Eh", replied Zap
"Why so glum, chum?", asked Rumble
"I don't wanna go to the Ponyville school", complained Zap "I wanna go to the Cloudsdale school"
"I know squirt", said Scootaloo "But Cloudsdale is a mile away from here, and you can't get a proper education there"
"Besides, you'll have fun at the Ponyville school", added Rumble ruffling his mane
"Hey watch the mane", said Zap fixing his mane "And I won't have fun if…she is gonna be there"
"Dont worry", assured Scootaloo ruffling his mane "Aunt Pinkie Pie told me that she goes to Canterlot Academy now"
"What did I say about the mane?!", yelled Zap fixing his mane again
"Ok cranky pants, let's get you to school", said Scootaloo
"Fine", replied Zap
They flew out the door and started heading for school.
Cortland Apple woke up to the sound of Roosters. He's a red earth pony with a green mane. He went downstairs to eat with his family. His parents are Applebloom and Pipsqueak. Applebloom's appearence has changed over the years. She has her mane braided with a little pink bow. She also wears a green bandana around her neck. She's also pregnant and was due any day now. She became a carpenter. Pipsqueak became a famous explorer.
"Howdy Ma Pa", greeted Cortland
"Howdy Cort", replied AB "Ready for school?"
"Yeah, I can't wait to see my friends", replied Cortland "Especially Aria"
Cortland started to blush.
"Aww my little colt has a crush", said AB nuzzling him
"Ma", said Cortland embarassed
"I remember my first crush", said Pipsqueak
"Oh yeah Silver Spoon", said AB annoyed
"No it was you…then Diamond Tiara…then Silver Spoon…then back to you", explained Pipsqueak getting nervous
"Uh-huh", replied AB coldly "Come on Cort let's go to school"
"Oh no you don't Bloom", said Pipsqueak "The doctor said you need to take it easy"
"Dropping my kid off is easy", explained AB
"True, but just let me do it", replied Pipsqueak
"Fine, have fun at school Cort", said AB nuzzling him and walking upstairs

They walked out the door and started heading to school.
Aria woke up to the sound of videogame music. She rubbed her eyes and saw her sister Pixel playing videogames with red eyes. Aria is a white unicorn with a pink and brown mane. Pixel is a brown earth pony with a light pink and purple mane. Their parents are Sweetie Belle and Button Mash. Sweetie Belle's appearance hasn't changed except for mane which was straightened with curls at the bottom. Button Mash got rid of his beanie and grew a mustache (He is…The Stache). Sweetie Belle became a famous singer and Button became a videogame designer.
"Pixel, have you been playing videogames all night?", asked Aria
"Th-the cat i-is in the d-dish washe-er", mumbled Pixel
"What?"
"I a-ate all m-my f-flowers"
"Ok thats enough"
Aria walked up to the tv and turned it off.
"HEY! I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAME", yelled Pixel
"Well, these videogames are messing up your brain", explained Aria "Besides Im tired of waking up to your videogames everyday"
"Oh yeah, you think I like hearing you sing?"

They started to argue. Then Sweetie Belle and Button walked in their room.

The girls stopped their arguing and looked at their parents.
"Why are you arguing?", asked Sweetie Belle
"Pixel keeps playing her videogames all night long", explained Aria

Pixel started playing her Neightendo 3DS (Nintendo 3DS), and Sweetie Belle took it away.
"HEY", yelled Pixel "I was about to beat Browser (Bowser)"
Sweetie Belle looked confused for a sec.
"You need to stop pulling all nighters", said Sweetie Belle "It's no good for your sleep habits"
"But dad pulls all nighters", said Pixel
"Yeah that's so true", said Button
Sweetie Belle punched him in the shoulder.
"Ow", yelled Button
"Not helping Button", scolded Sweetie Belle "And Pixel, if you pull one more all nighter, you will be grounded, got it?"
"Yes Mom", replied Pixel
"Good", said Sweetie Belle "Now lets get you two to school"
All the parents and siblings dropped off their foals. Gemstone was walking through the school yard. Then she was approached by her cousins.
"Hey Gemma", greeted Aria and Pixel
"Aria Pixel", cheered Gem hugging them
"Excited about the school year?", asked Aria "Cause you know I am"
"I am. How about you Pix?", asked Gem
"Nope", replied Pixel
They started laughing until they heard a noise. They looked up and saw Spectrum Chaser leaving a rainbow trail. Suddenly, she performed a Sonic Rainboom and all the students cheered.
"TA-DA", yelled Spectrum
"Give it up for Spectrum Chaser", said Meteor Blitz unenthusiastically
"Hey Spectrum Hey Blitz", greeted Gem
"Hey girls", replied the pegasus twins
"So Spectrum I heard you got your cutie mark", said Pixel
"Yeah, I got it after performing a Sonic Rainboom", explained Spectrum showing her cutie mark "Just like my mom"
"Heeeey guys", greeted Apple Buck
"Hey Buck", replied the foals
"Here Spectrum, this is for you", said Buck giving her a flower "For earning your cutie mark"
"Aw thanks bro", replied Spectrum hoof bumping him "I'd love to stay and chat but I have a cutie mark to show off. Later egg heads"
Spectrum flew away. Orion walked up to the group tired.
"Hey guys", yawned Orion
"Orion, you look exausted", said Aria
"Yeah, I know", replied Orion
Then Orion fell asleep, and Gem casted a spell on him.
"IM UP IM UP", yelled Orion
"What was that?", asked Blitz
"Awakening Spell", explained Gem
Johnathan and Cortland came up to them with bags on their backs.
"Howdy y'all", greeted the earth ponies
"Hey cousins", replied Buck "What's in the bags?"
"I decided to make apple muffins for all my friends", explained John
They dropped the bags and the group started to eat the muffins.
"Man Johnny, these muffins are good", complimented Pixel
"I know right?", said Orion
"Oh Aria, I wanna give you this", said Cortland blushing while giving her an apple
Aria took the apple and took a bite out of it.
"Honey Crisp, my favorite", said Aria "Thanks Cort"
"Your welcome"
"INCOMING", yelled a voice
Everypony looked up and saw Zap Bolt flying down at high speed and landing on the ground.
"And I stuck the landing", bragged Zap
"Zap Bolt you couldv'e killed someone", scolded Aria
"Or with that speed yourself", added Blitz
"But I didn't, so-", said Zap
He was interupted by the sound of laughter. The group ran over to the source and saw a bunch of foals laughing at Sugar Sweets.
"Hey leave her alone", said Blitz "She's a nice and pretty filly and you jerks shouldn't make fun of her"
Sugar Sweets blushed as the foals started walking away.
"You ok?", asked Blitz
"Yeah, Im fine", replied Sugar
"Why'dcha stop?", asked a voice
"Yeah, this was just getting good", added another voice
The group turned around and saw their worst enemies, Royal Jewel and Bling Bling. Royal Jewel is Diamond Tiara and Lickity Split's daughter. She's a white earth pony with a pink, blue, and green mane and three pink, blue, and green diamonds as her cutie mark. She wears DT's tiara too. Bling Bling is Silver Spoon and Snips's son. He's a grey unicorn with a white mane and a gold bar as his cutie mark. He wears sunglasses and a gold chain with a B on it.
"Royal Jewel?! What are you doing here?!", asked Gem
"Yeah, weren't you suppose to go to Canterlot Academy?", asked Zap
"I was", said Jewel "But I begged Daddy to let me stay, cause I don't wanna miss a single second making fun of Derpy eyes here and her blank-flanked crew"
The group looked at their flanks
"Oh you just got burned", said Bling Bling
"Just you wait Jewel, we will get our cutie marks", said Orion
"Yeah, they'll be better than yours", added Buck
"I doubt it", said Jewel
The school belle rang, signaling that it was time for school.
"Your lucky that it's time for class", said Jewel

They went into the school house, thus leaving the group alone.
"Got a plan to earn our cutie marks?", asked Aria
"No", replied the group
"Thought so", said Blitz
They walked into the school house hoping for a good day in school.
All the foals started to talk amongst each other until a purple unicorn mare with a yellow mane with a couple of twinkles as her cutie mark appeared.
"Good morning kids", greeted the mare "My name is Ms. Dinky Doo, but you can call me Miss Dinky for short. Any questions?"
John raised his hand.
"Where's Miss Cheerilee?", asked John
"Miss Cheerilee retired", explained Dinky "But that's ok, cause we'll have lots of fun, right?"

"Good", said Dinky "Now let's play a little game. Let's get to know eachother. We'll go around the room and the pony will go up to the room, say their name, Tell us about their family, something about themselves, and how they got their cutie mark. But if you don't have your cutie mark, then you don't have to do that. I'll go first. My name is Dinky Do. In my family I have my husband Truffle Shuffle, who's a cheff at a resturant and my son Donny"
Dinky pointed to Donny, and Donny waved. He's a purple earth pony with a black mane and an ant as his cutie mark.
"This is my first year teaching", explained Dinky "My cutie mark represents making my students shine in education. Who wants to go next?"
Royal Jewel walked up to the front of the class.
"Im Royal Jewel. In my family I have my mother Diamond Tiara, who owns Barnyard Bargains and my daddy Lickity Split, who owns an ice cream parlor. And Im rich and pretty",said Jewel smirking at the group "My cutie mark represents being rich and pretty
"She's such a-", whispered John
"I know", replied Sugar
Jewel sat back down and Bling Bling walked up.
"Sup dogs, Im Bling Bling. My peeps are my mom Silver Spoon, who owns a spoonery, and my dad Snips, who's a barber. I love to rap, yo. My cutie mark represents my rapping skills", introduced Bling Bling "Bling Bling OUT"
He walked back to his seat. Pixel and Apple Buck tried really hard not to laugh. Then John walked up.
"Im Johnathan Apple. In my family I have my mom Applejack, who's the owner of Sweet Apple Acres, my pa Caramel, who works part time at the applecart, my older brother Bloomburg, and my older sister Apple Heart and Apple Sweets. One thing about me is that I love to chores", introduced John
Jewel and Bling Bling started to snicker and John walked back to his seat. Sugar walked up to front of the room.
"Oh look it's Derpy eyes", teased Jewel

"My name is Sugar Sweets. In my family I have my parents Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich, who are party planners, and my big brother Cheese Whiz. Im also gonna have a new brother or sister on the way", introduced Sugar

Some day, I'm gonna be a fashion designer just like my mom", introduced Gem
"Are you kidding? You'll never be like your mom", scolded Jewel "Besides, you should focus on better designers like Suri Polomare"
"I will be like my mom!", yelled Gem "And Rarity's designs are better than Polomare's"

"GIRLS", yelled Dinky "Royal Jewel, stop interupting presentations. Gem, head back to your seat"
"Yes Miss Dinky", replied Gem and Jewel
Gem went back to her seat and Meteor Blitz walked up.
"I'm Meteor Blitz. In my family I have my mom Rainbow Dash, a member of the Wonderbolts, my dad Soarin, co-captain of the Wonderbolts, my older brother Razor Wind, and my twin sister Spectrum Chaser. And I like to read", introduced Blitz
"EGG HEAD", yelled Spectrum
She started to laugh until Dinky glared at her. Blitz walked back to his seat.
"Thanks a lot sis", whispered Blitz sitting his seat
"I thought your presentation was great", whispered Sugar
Blitz started to blush and Spectrum flew up to the front.
"Wazzup Im Spectrum Chaser, the most awesome pony in Equestria", introduced Spectrum
"Most awesome pony my flank", mumbled Blitz
"My brother Meteor Blitz already said who our parents our. When I grow up Im gonna be a Wonderbolt just like my parents. I got my cutie mark after performing a Sonic Rainboom", explained Spectrum

"Nothing's impossible with Spectrum Chaser", said Spectrum

Spectrum flew to her seat and Apple Buck walked up.
"Howdy y'all Im Apple Buck. In my family I have my ma Fluttershy, who's a veterenarian, my pa Big Macintosh, who also owns Sweet Apple Acres, and my older sister Autumn Leaves", introduced Apple Buck
"Oh yeah I know Autumn Leaves, she's the mistake Fluttershy had", teased Bling Bling
"DONT YOU DARE CALL MY SISTER A MISTAKE", yelled Buck
"BOYS", yelled Dinky "Bling Bling, one more remark from you and you will get detention. Now apoligize to Apple Buck"
"Apple Buck, Im sorry your sister is a mistake", teased Bling Bling

He was about to attack Bling Bling but was held back by Cortland and John.
"Ok Bling Bling, detention", said Dinky

Apple Buck sat down and Orion walked up.
"Im Prince Orion. In my family, I have my mom Princess Twilight Sparkle, my dad Flash Sentry, captain of the royal guards, and my sister Love In The Mist. Someday, Im gonna be the Prince of Equestria", introduced Orion
"I doubt it", teased Jewel
"Royal Jewel, do you want detention too?", asked Dinky
"No ma'am", replied Jewel
Orion walked back to his seat and Cortland walked up.
"Im Cortland Apple. In my family, I have my ma Applebloom, a carpenter, my dad Pipsqueak, an explorer, and a future Apple along the way. I love to build things with my ma and explore with my dad", introduced Cortland
Cortland walked back to his seat and Zap Bolt flew to the front.
"The name's Zap Bolt. In my family, I have my mom Scootaloo, famous scooter rider, and my dad Rumble, a Wonderbolt. When I grow up I wanna be a Wonderbolt, just like my dad", introduced Zap
Zap Bolt flew back to his seat and Aria walked up.
"My name is Aria. In my family, I have my mother Sweetie Belle, famous singer, my father Button Mash, videogame creator, and my twin sister Pixel. When I grow up, I wanna be a singer", introduced Aria
"Wait, your mom is Sweetie Belle?", asked Jewel
"Yeah", replied Aria
"Her singing stinks"

"ROYAL JEWEL", scolded Dinky
Aria sat down and Pixel walked up.
"Im Pixel. You know about my family already. And I love videogames", introduced Pixel
"Wait, your dad is the creator of Mash games?", asked Bling Bling

After Pixel sat down, a couple other foals went. The bell rang.
"Ok kids, time for lunch", said Dinky
All the foals ran out to lunch. The group sat under a tree.
"Ok guys, we need to think of a way to earn our cutie marks", said Orion
"Maybe you guys should be Cutie Mark Crusaders", suggested a voice
"You left your lunch at home, smart one", explained Scootaloo handing him a lunch box
"Ok, great thanks", said Zap taking the lunch box "Now leave before you embarass me"
"Wait Aunt Scootaloo", said Meteor Blitz "What's a Cutie Mark Crusader?"
"The Cutie Mark Crusaders are a group Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, and I use to be in when we were about your age", explained Scootaloo "We would do all sorts of fun things to earn our cutie marks"
"Can we join?", asked Pixel
"Do you have your cutie marks?", asked Scootaloo
"No", the group said in unison
"Then yes you can", replied Scootaloo
"YAY", cheered the group
"Ok kids, time to get back inside", called Dinky
"I better go", said Scootaloo
"Wait", said Cortland "How do we join?"
"Just go to the clubhouse at Sweet Apple Acres after school", explained Scootaloo
"I know that clubhouse", said John "My sisters use to go in there"
"Great", replied Scootaloo "Now you kids should probably get to class"

The group walked in the classroom. Suddenly Sugar fell over and Royal Jewel and Bling Bling started to laugh.
"Smooth move Derpy Eyes", teased Jewel
Sugar sat in her seat. Then Dinky walked in the room and began her lesson. As an hour went by, Dinky was teaching the foals math.
"Ok would anypony like to solve the math problem?", asked Dinky
Sugar raised her hoof.
"Go ahead Sugar Sweets", said Dinky
As soon as Sugar Sweets solved the problem, a couple of foals started to laugh. Sugar turned around and they stopped. She finished the problem. When she tried to walk back to her seat, but Dinky stopped her. She saw a piece of paper and took it off her back. The paper had a picture of Derpy on it.
"Who put this paper on Sugar Sweet's back?", asked Dinky
Jewel and Bling Bling started to laugh.
"Royal Jewel and Bling Bling, detention after school today", said Dinky
"But Miss Dinky-", started Jewel
"No buts, do I make myself clear?", asked Dinky
"Yes Miss Dinky", replied Jewel and Bling Bling
Sugar walked back to her seat.
"Thanks a lot Derpy Eyes", whispered Jewel
The rest of the school day went by quick. The bell rang, and all the foals ran out.
"Sugar Sweets, may I talk to you for a sec?", asked Dinky
"Sure", said Sugar "Am I in trouble?"
"No sweetie, I just wanna ask you a few questions", assured Dinky "Do you get bullied a lot?"
"Well yeah, but my big brother usually helps me out"
"Thats good. You know you can come to me if you ever get teased right?"
"Yes Miss Dinky"
"Good, ok you can go now"
Sugar Sweets started to walk, but she stopped.
"Miss Dinky?", asked Sugar
"Yes sweetie?", replied Dinky
"Why do you wanna help me?"
"Because I know what your going through. My mom has your condition and she was picked on too. I was even picked on for being her daughter"
"What's your mom's name?"
"Derpy Hooves"
"That's why they keep calling me Derpy Eyes. Thanks Miss Dinky"
"Anytime deary"
Sugar walked back to her friends.
"Why were you talking to Miss Dinky?", asked Orion
"Did you get in trouble?", asked Gem
"No, she just wanted to talk to me", explained Sugar
"About what?", asked Aria
"Nothing", replied Sugar "Lets just head over to the clubhouse"
The group of friends headed over to Sweet Apple Acres.
The group walked to Sweet Apple Acres and ran into Apple Heart and Apple Sweets.
"Howdy Johnny", greeted Apple Heart
"Hey girls can you help us with something?", asked John
"Sure, what is it?", asked Apple Sweets
"Were wondering if you know where the Cutie Mark Crusader clubhouse is?", asked Sugar Sweets
"Oh your thinking about being Crusaders?", asked Heart "Follow us"
"You know, you guys happen to be the third generation Cutie Mark Crusaders", said Sweets
"Third generation?", asked Meteor Blitz
"Yeah the first generation Crusaders were Aunt Applebloom, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Babs Seed, Rumble, and Dinky", explained Sweets
"And the second generation Crusaders were Me, Sweets, Bloomburg, Cheese Whiz, Hope Diamond, Magnum, Autumn Leaves, Razor Wind, Love In The Mist, Pound Cake, and Pumpkin Cake", explained Heart
"So your saying our older siblings were Crusaders too?", asked Gemstone
"We still are Crusaders in the heart", explained Sweets "Rule #100 in the Cutie Mark Crusaders handbook"
"Once a Crusader, always a crusader", said the twins
The group followed the Apple twins until they reached a small tree house.
"This is the Cutie Mark Crusaders club house", explained Sweets "Have fun"
The twins walked away and the group went into the clubhouse.
"Ok so what do we have to do first?", asked Apple Buck
"According to the CMC handbook, we have to assign roles", explained Blitz
"Roles?", asked Orion
"Yup, like the first role is the leader", explained Blitz
"I'll do it", said Orion
"No, I'll do it", said Cortland
"What do you do if there's an arguement?", asked Zap Bolt
"It says here that they have an election. So each runner has to present a speech on the podium", read Meteor Blitz
"I'll go first", said Orion walking up to the podium "I think I should be leader because Im a prince. And if Im the leader I'll listen to everyponies ideas 100%"
Everypony clapped as Orion walked off the podium. Cortland walked up the podium.
"I wanna be leader because I was destined to be it. You see, my mom Applebloom was the first leader. My cousin Bloomburg was the second leader. That means all the leaders were Apples. And I think I should continue the tradition and be leader"
Everypony clapped again as Cortland walked off the podium. Then, Blitz flew up to the podium.
"Ok show of hooves if you want Cortland to be leader", said Blitz
Buck, John, and Aria, raised their hooves.
"And show of hooves if you want Orion", said Blitz
Pixel, Gem, Sugar, and Zap raised their hooves.
"I guess Orion's our leader", said Apple Buck
Everypony started to cheer.
"Hey Cortland, even though you didn't win, I still think you would've been a great leader", said Aria blushing
"Aw thanks A", replied Cortland blushing
"What's next on the list?", asked Pixel
"Our secretary, someone to tell us our plans for the day", explained Blitz
"I could do it", said Sugar
"Ok, thanks Sugar", said Blitz "Now we need a tailor, someone who can make us clothes we need for an adventure"
"My mom is giving me sewing lessons, so I could do that", offered Gem
"Great, the first thing we need you to make is the Cutie Mark Crusaders cape", said Blitz handing her the design
"Ok, I'll get right on it when I get home", said Gem "What's next?"
"A weather checker, to check the weather each day to see if we can continue our plans", explained Blitz
"I got that covered", assured Zap "What else?"
"We need a recorder", explained Blitz "Someone to take pictures for our CMC Scrapbook"
"I'll do it, I love taking pictures", said Buck
"Great, now we need a substitute", explained Blitz "Someone to fill in for someone incase they cannot attend a meeting"
"So like an understudy?", asked Aria
"In a way"
"Im in"
"Hey Blitz, is there a role that involves making snacks?", asked John
"Well it says here that there's a snack bringer", explained Blitz reading the book "Do you wanna be that?"
"You bet", replied John
"Great", said Blitz "Ok so there's three jobs left. The attendence checker, the supply bringer, and the judge"
"Which one is the easiest?", asked Pixel
"Probably the attendence checker, cause all you have to do is check to see who's here or not", explained Blitz
"Then I'll do that", replied Pixel
"What do the other roles do?", asked Cortland
"The supply bringer brings supplies for our crusading needs", explained Blitz "And the judge solves any arguement two or more crusaders have"
"I guess I'll be the supply bringer", said Cortland "My mom's a carpenter. So it shouldn't be too hard to get supplies"
"Then I guess I'll be the judge", said Blitz "Ok were crusaders now"
"YAY", cheered the crusaders
They stood there in silence for a couple of minutes.
"So what now?", asked Zap
"Homework?", suggested Blitz
"Sure", replied the crusaders
The crusaders did their homework until they had to go home.
After school, the crusaders went to the clubhouse. They were sad because of what happened today. Suddenly, John came up with a silver dish on his back.
"Hey y'all", said John "I know y'all are sad cause of what happened, but I made apple fritters to make everypony feel better"
Everypony ran to the dish and started eating the fritters.
"Wow John, these apple fritters are good", complimented Orion
"Thanks", replied John "I have a knack for cooking"
"We can tell dude", said Zap Bolt "Check out your flank"
John looked at his flank and saw that he earned his cutie mark. It was a golden apple on a silver plate.
"I FINALLY GOT MY CUTIE MARK", cheered John "I never knew cooking would be my talent"
Maybe our talents are cooking too", suggested Sugar Sweets
"Theres only one way to find out", said Orion "Crusaders, to the kitchen"
The crusaders walked to the barn and saw Applejack cooking.
"Howdy y'all", greeted Applejack
"Howdy Ma", replied John "Guess what, I earned my cutie mark"
He showed Applejack his cutie mark.
"Aw, congrats sugarcube", congraduated Applejack hugging him "What's your talent?"
"Cooking", explained John
"I knew that was your talent all along", said Applejack "So what else can I do for you guys?"
"We wanna see if our talent is also cooking", explained Blitz
"So can we cook for you?", asked Gem
"I don't know you guys", said Applejack "Today is the Apple Family Dinner, and it has to be perfect"
"Apple Family Dinner?", asked Aria
"It's something we do once every month", explained John "All the Apples from Ponyville come here to have an old fashioned dinner"
"Well then we gotta help you", said Buck "Please Aunt Applejack"
"Oh alright", said Applejack
"YAY", cheered the crusaders
"Just try not to make too much of a mess", said Applejack walking out of the kitchen
As soon as AJ left, the crusaders started baking. Sugar was getting ingredients. Gem was picking out cake frosting. Blitz was reading recipes. Buck was smashing apples. Aria and Pixel were putting flour in a bowl and got a lot on themselves. Zap Bolt was literally beating the eggs. Cortland was using an electric mixer and got batter on himself. Orion was trying to use the oven but it bursted into flames. So he conjoured a fire extinguisher and put out the flames. When they were done, they went into the living room and played a few games until the food was ready. When the food was done, they saw a glamourous looking buffet. They looked at their flanks but saw no mark.
"But I don't get it", said Orion "We prepared the food so perfectly"
"Actually, I had to go back in the kitchen to fix the mistakes", explained John
The crusaders started to look sad.
"We should probably get going", said Aria
"Actually you can stay", said AJ walking in "You and your families are invited too"
"I thought you said it was an Apple Family dinner", said Pixel
"It is", replied AJ "But since you guys are like family. Your kinda like Apples too. Now why don't you youngins help set the table"
The next day at school, Dinky said she had an important announcement. So all the students sat in their seats.
"Ok kids I have some good news", announced Dinky "This weekend is the school's Acadecathalon"
"What's an Acadecathalon?", asked Orion raising his hoof
"The Acadecathalon is an event where two schools battle eachother in mathematics, science, literature, and history", explained Dinky "The sign up sheet is on the back of the building. Now let's start our lesson"
Dinky started her lesson. A couple hours later, the lunch bell rang. And all the foals ran out.
"Hey guys I think we should sign up for the Acadecathalon", suggested Meteor Blitz
"Sounds kinda boring", said Gem
"C'mon you guys", said Blitz "Im sure it'll be fun"
"But only four ponies can compete", said John "And besides were going up against Canterlot Academy"
"Do you know how smart that school is?", asked Buck
"But its worth a try", said Blitz "Besides maybe we'll get a cutie mark along the way. So who's in?"
"Im in", said Sugar
"Me too", added Orion
"As am I", added Aria
"Great", said Blitz
"What can the rest of us do?", asked Pixel
"You guys can be...cheerleaders", said Blitz
"Cheerleaders?" asked Zap Bolt
"Yeah, Cutie Mark Crusaders cheerleaders", explained Blitz
"Well, I guess a cheerleading cutie mark would look cute", said Gem
"Oh Gem can you make us some t-shirts for our team?", asked Blitz
"Of course", replied Gem "I'll get on it right now"
Gem started walking to the boutique. Then the rest of the crusaders started walking to the friendship castle (Twilight's new home).
"Oh hey Orion", greeted Twilight "How's school?"
"It was great", replied Orion "A couple of the crusaders and I are signing up for the Acadecathalon"
"Thats great. Did you know Im hosting it?", asked Twilight
"Thats cool", said Orion "Is it cool if we study in the library?"
"Go ahead", replied Twilight
"You guys go ahead", said Zap "The rest of us are gonna work on our cheer routine"
Zap, Cortland, Buck, and Pixel went outside. The rest of the crusaders went up to the library. They were studying for a couple hours until Twilight called them.
"Hey kids why don't you take a break", said Twilight "I made snacks"
The crusaders walked into the kitchen. A couple minutes later, Gem walked in holding a box with her magic.
"I've finished the t-shirts", said Gem holding one up
The shirt was bright yellow. Ponyville Crusaders was written on the back.
"Wow Gem these shirts are great", complimented Twilight
"Thanks Aunt Twilight", replied Gem "I even made cute cheerleading outfits for colts and fillies"
Gem levitated a couple of yellow cheerleading outfits.
"GO CRUSADERS", cheered Gem
Blitz, Orion, Sugar, and Aria have been studying for the past couple days while the other crusaders were working on their cheer routine. Then it was finally the day of the Acadecathalon. Everypony in Ponyville wore the shirts Gem made. The cheerleaders had pom poms and megaphones.
"Good evening everypony and welcome to the 26th annual Acadecathalon. Im your host Princess Twilight Sparkle", announced Twilight "Now let's meet the team. Give it up for our home team The Ponyville Crusaders and the members Meteor Blitz, Sugar Sweets, Aria, and Orion"
Everypony from Ponyville cheered as the crusaders walked to the panel.
"GO CRUSADERS", cheered the cheerleader crusaders
"And give it up for our away team, The Canterlot Academy Royals and the members Posh Print, Silken Glove, Ruby Slipper, and Rising Star", announced Twilight
Everypony from Canterlot started to cheer.
"Now lets get started", said Twilight "First to answer the question will be Meteor Blitz from Ponyville and Posh Print from Canterlot", announced Twilight
Blitz and Posh walked up to the answering podium. Posh is a dark green unicorn colt with a black mane with glasses. His cutie mark was a quill of ink.
"Ok this question is about history. In the 1950's what was the name of the seperation between ponies and zebras?", asked Twilight
Blitz buzzed his buzzer.
"Segregation", answered Blitz
"Correct", replied Twilightas the two foals walking back to their team podiums "The first point goes to Ponyville"
"YAY PONYVILLE", cheered the cheerleaders
"The next ponies to answer are Sugar Sweets and Silken Glove", announced Twilight
Sugar and Silk walked up to the answering podium. Silken Glove is a white pegasus with a baby blue mane with a glove as her cutie mark.
"This question is about science. What is the name of the survival skill animals use to use their body parts against predators?"
Sugar buzzed her buzzer.
"Chemical weaponary", answered Sugar
"Incorrect", said Twilight "Silk?"
"Autonomy", answered Silk
"Correct", answered Twilight "Point one for Canterlot"
While Sugar and Silk were walking back, Ruby Slipper and Rising Star started to talking. Ruby Slipper is a red earth pony filly with a maroon mane with a pink high heal as her cutie mark. Rising Star is a dark brown earth pony colt with a light brown mane and a rising star as his cutie mark.
"I think she might be brain damaged", said Ruby
"You can tell by the eyes", replied Star
Sugar heard what they said, and started to get offended.
"Don't listen to them", said Blitz "Your not brain damaged"
"Thanks", replied Sugar "I can see why Royal Jewel was about to go to that school"
"You know, you have very pretty eyes", complimented Blitz blushing
Sugar started to blush. After an hour of asking and answering questions, Ponyville and Canterlot were tied.
"Ok final round", announced Twilight "Both teams are tied with 20 points"
"GO PONYVILLE CRUSADERS WOO-HOO", cheered the cheerleaders
"Ok this final question goes to Meteor Blitz and Rising Star", announced Twilight
"Be careful dude", said Orion "Rising Star is really smart"
"Don't worry, I got this", assured Blitz walking up to the answering podium
"Huh, thats what my mom always says", said Aria
"Ok this question is about literature", announced Twilight "In the famous Winnium Shakesphere (William Shakesphere) play Romeo and Juliet, what is the name of the two feuding families?"
Star buzzed his buzzer.
"The Montigues and The Hathaways", answered Star
"Incorrect", replied Twilight "Hathaway was the name of Shakesphere's wife. Meteor Blitz?"
"The Montigues and The Capulets", answered Blitz
"Your answer…IS CORRECT", replied Twilight "THE PONYVILLE CRUSADERS WIN THE ACADECATHALON"
Everypony started to cheer.
"YAY PONYVILLE", cheered the crusaders
"Blitz check it out!", said Sugar pointing at his flank
Blitz looked down and saw that he earned his cutie mark. It was a meteor.
"I GOT MY CUTIE MARK", cheered Blitz "Who knew being smart was my talent?"
"We kinda all did", said Pixel
The crusaders nodded in agreement.
"C'mon you guys", said Orion "Lets go to the clubhouse to celebrate"
"Celebrate what? Winning the Acadecathalon or my cutie mark?", asked Blitz
On a bright beautiful spring day, Gemstone galloped happily up to the clubhouse. The only members who were present were the fillies.
"Hey Gemma", greeted Aria "What's got you excited?"
"I signed the four of us up in The Little Miss Ponyville Beauty Pageant", announced Gem
The fillies started to cheer except Pixel.
"Please tell me that the four of us means you, A, Sugar, and Spectrum Chaser", said Pixel
"C'mon Pixel", begged Aria "It'll be fun"
"I've always wanted to be in a pageant", said Sugar
"Look there is no way in Tarturas Im gonna enter a froo-froo frilly girly beauty pageant", scolded Pixel
"The grand prize is 5,000 bits", explained Gem
"Alright Im in", replied Pixel
"YAY", cheered the fillies
After a couple of minutes of chatting, the colts arrived. The fillies explained to them that they are doing a beauty pageant.
"Wait, Pixel…in a pageant?", asked Zap
Zap started to laugh hysterically.
"Hey, stop laughing", ordered Pixel "We have other things to focus on like how are we gonna to afford pageant dresses?"
"You can leave that too me", assured Gem "Just make sure you girls are ready by Saturday"
Gem left the clubhouse. During the next couple of days, the fillies were practicing pageant materials and the colts acted as their pageant coaches (They wanna see if they can earn a pageant coach cutie mark). Then the day came. Everypony was in a panic.
"Where's Gem?", asked Aria "She said she would bring the dresses"
"And here I am", announced Gem walking in
"Gem, where have you been?", asked Pixel "And where are the dresses? You said you would bring dresses"
"And here they are", said Gem levitating the dresses over
"Wow Gem these are amazing", complimented Sugar "How did you get them"
"I made them", explained Gem
"You made these?", asked Pixel
"Yup", replied Gem
"Ugh what are these monstronsities?", asked a voice
The girls turned around and saw Royal Jewel.
"Royal Jewel, what are you doing here?", asked Aria
"Im here to win", explained Jewel "What are you doing here?"
"Same reason", replied Pixel "Wait why are you competing?"
"I heard the grand prize is 5,000 bits", explained Jewel
"But your rich", said Sugar
"Eh you can never have too much", replied Jewel "You guys will never win, especially you Derpy Eyes. Well I'd love to stay and brag, but I have to get ready. LATER LOZERS"
Jewel walked away and Sugar started to look sad.
"She's right", said Sugar "I'll never win with my condition"
"Maybe you will", said Gem
"C'mon girls", said Rarity walking in with Sweetie Belle, Fluttershy and Hope Diamond (They need all the they can get) "We have to get your manes and makeup done ASAP"
A couple hours later, the pageant begun. Hoity Toity walked on stage.
"Hello Ponyville and welcome to The Little Miss Ponyville Pageant", announced Hoity Toity "Im your host Hoity Toity, now let's meet our judges. Our first judge The Picture Pony. Give it up for famous fashion photographer and my wife Photo Finish"
Photo Finish stood up and everypony started to cheer.
"Our next judge is the owner of Barnyard Bargains. Give it up for Miss Diamond Tiara", announced Hoity
Diamond Tiara stood up and everypony cheered. Diamond has changed over the years. She no longer wears her signature tiara and she wears a white business coller around her neck.
"Hey, that's Jewel's mom", said Aria "She has an unfair advantage"
"Our final judge is known as the pony that made Las Pegasus a most go place. Give it up for famous travel writer Trenderhoof", announced Hoity
Trenderhoof stood up and everypony cheered.
"Why didn't you tell us that Uncle Trend was a judge?", asked Pixel
"You never asked", explained Gem
"Now let's get this pageant started", announced Hoity "All contestants start to line up"
Everypony started to line up except Sugar.
"C'mon Sugar", said Gem
"You girls go ahead", replied Sugar "I'll catch up with you girls in a bit"
As soon as Gem walked away, Orion flew in.
"Ok Im here", said Orion his horn started to grow "Are you sure you wanna do this?"
"Im positive", replied Sugar
On stage, the contestants started to get ready.
"Now let's start with contestant #1 Petunia", announced Hoity
While Hoity was announcing. Gem and the twins were chatting until Jewel walked up to them.
"Well tell her I said 'good luck' too", teased Jewel walking on stage
"Now for contestant #6 three time pageant winner Royal Jewel", announced Hoity Toity
Royal Jewel walked on stage. She was wearing a powder pink dress with silver shoes. Her mane was parted to the side with a couple of light pink feathers in it.
"Hi Jewely", called Diamond Tiara
"Hi mom", replied Jewel
Jewel walked over to the other contestants.
"Now contestant #7 Gemstone Shimmer", announced Hoity
Gem walked on stage. She was wearing a magenta with a light purple sparkly fabric over the skirt with gold shoes. Her mane was straightened with a tiara in her mane.
"THAT'S MY BABY GIRL", cheered Trend "THAT'S MY LITTLE GEM"
"Dad", replied Gem embarassed
She walked to the other contestants.
"Contestant #8 Aria", announced Hoity
Aria walked on stage. She was wearing a magenta dress with black fabric stripes with pearls on it with black shoes. Her mane was straightened to the side with a bejeweled headband on the side.
"Rarity, Aria looks so pretty", said Sweetie Belle "Great job"
"Thanks Sweetie", replied Rarity "It's what I do"
"Now the twin sister of Aria, contestant #9 Pixel", announced Hoity
Pixel walked on stage. She was wearing a purple dress with a gold transparent fabric underneath with glass slippers. Her mane was up with a gold fabric mane accesory. Pixel walked to the other contestants.
"I hate this", whispered Pixel
"I know", replied Aria
"Finally contestant #10 Sugar Sweets", announced Hoity
Sugar Sweets wasn't there.
"Where's Sugar?", asked Pinkie
The contestants started to chat with eachother.
"Looks like Derpy Eyes forfeited", teased Jewel
"Leave Sugar alone", said Gem
"Yeah, Im sure she's just nervous", added Aria
In the audience, the crusader colts started talking with eachother.
"I really hope Sugar's ok", said Blitz "I'd hate to see something bad happen to her"
Then Sugar walked on stage and everypony cheered. She was wearing a blue dress with blue gloves and a blue necklace. She had her mane up. And her eyes are normal.
"Sugar's eyes are normal?!", asked Blitz
"YAY DOUBLE S", cheered Cheese Whiz
"Wow, I guess I shouldn't call her Derpy Eyes anymore", whispered Jewel
"Now contestants, get your next dresses on for the question portion of the pageant", said Hoity
The contestants walked back stage.
"Sugar, what happened to your eyes?", asked Pixel
"I had Orion perform a spell on them", explained Sugar
"Is it forever?", asked Gem
"No, it's temporary. I can't get wet or the spell wears off", explained Sugar "Now let's get ready"
The crusader fillies started to get ready. But little did they know, Jewel was watching them
"Hm interesting", said Jewel with a smirk
After an hour, Hoity walked back onstage and started announcing some contestants and questioning them.
"Now welcome back contestant #6 Royal Jewel", announced Hoity
Jewel was wearing a pink dress with a gold fabric on top of the skirt with gold shoes. She also had her mane up.
"Now Jewel, if you could go to any country, which one and why?", asked Hoity
"I'd go to Mareis (Paris)", replied Jewel "Because of all the fashion"
Everypony started to cheer as Jewel walked off stage.
"WOO-HOO THATS MY GIRL", cheered Diamond
"Now contestant #7 Gemstone Shimmer", announced Hoity
Gem walked on stage. She was wearing a dress with a blue torso and pink skirt with pink ribbon slippers. Her mane was up with a gold tiara with blue heart jewel in it.
"Ok Gem is there somepony who you look up to? Who is it and why?", asked Hoity
"Yes, my big sister best friend forever Hope Diamond", answered Gem "She's nice, she's pretty, and she's the best pony I've ever known"
Everypony started to aw, and Hope stood up.
"THAT'S MY SISTER", cheered Hope "THAT'S MY LITTLE SISTER BEST FRIEND FOREVER"
Gem walked off stage.
"Now contestant #8 Aria", announced Hoity
Aria walked on stage. She was wearing a green dress with pink trim. Her mane was in a messy ponytail.
"Aria what do you wanna be when you grow up and why?", asked Hoity
"I wanna be a singer", replied Aria "So I can be like my mom"
The crowd awed again.
"Aww Aria is so sweet", said Sweetie Belle
Aria walked off stage.
"Now contestant #9 Pixel", announced Hoity
Pixel walked on the stage. She was wearing a blue dress with purple flowers with blue shoes and purple leg warmers. Her mane was twisted and parted to the side with a blue flower in it.
"Pixel, if you can have anything in the world, what would it be?", asked Hoity
"I want the Neightendo Wiiu", said Pixel "Got that mom?"
Pixel walked off stage.
"Finally we have contestant #10 Sugar Sweets", announced Hoity
Sugar walked on stage. She was wearing a blue dress with a pink coat with white trim on it with white shoes. Her mane was in a fluffy bun with a star and moon mane barette.
"Alright Sugar, if you could be any pony what type would it be?", asked Hoity "Alicorn, unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony and why?"
"Well believe it or not, I would remain an earth pony", answered Sugar "Because when they work they actually work hard. Pegasi can fly. Unicorns can use magic. Alicorns can use both. Earth ponies work. They also make Equestria the most hard working country in the world"
Everypony started to cheer as Sugar walked off the stage.
"Now everypony get ready for the talent portion of the pageant", announced Hoity
In an hour, everypony was ready. Hoity called on a couple ponies until it was Jewel's turn.
"Now give it up for contestant #6 Royal Jewel", announced Hoity
Jewel was walking on stage with Bling Bling. She was wearing a red spanish dress with red dance slippers. Her mane was up with a red rose in it.
"For my talent, I'll be dancing the tango with my partner/best friend Bling Bling", announced Royal Jewel
The music started and Jewel and Bling Bling started to dance. Everypony started to cheer (especially Diamond). When they finished, everypony cheered.
"Ok judges", announced Hoity walking on stage "What's the score?"
"9", said Photo Finish
"10", said Diamond
"1", said Trend
"How dare you give my daughter a 1", scolded Diamond
"Your daughter always bullies my daughter", explained Trend
"So? It's her fault that she's a blank flank", scolded Diamond
"Ok give it up for Royal Jewel", announced Hoity "Now contestant #7 Gemstone Shimmer"
Gem walked on stage wearing a princess outfit with a pink torso and purple skirt with white trim and purple shoes. She was wearing her mane down with a bun in it while wearing a purple princess cap.
"For my talent Im gonna re-enact Juliet's balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet", announced Gem
"I didn't know Gem was into acting", whispered Magnum
"Neither did I", replied Hope
Gem cleared her throat
"Ay me O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet. Everypony cheered and Hoity walked on the stage.

"Really? A one?", asked Trend
"You give my daughter a one, I'll give your daughter one too", scolded Diamond
"Give it up for contestant #8 Aria", announced Hoity
Aria walked on stage. She was wearing a blue dress with pink trim and pink shoes. She had her mane up with gold horseshoe earings.
"For my talent, I'll be singing Angel of Music from Phantom of the Opera", announced Aria
The music started, and Aria started singing. Everypony started cheering.
"Im so in love with her", said Cortland blushing
"What?", asked Buck
"What?", replied Cortland
When she stopped everypony started cheering.
"Judges?", asked Hoity walking up stage
"8", said Photo
"9", said Trend
"1", said Diamond
"Give it up for contestant #9 Pixel", announced Hoity
Pixel walked up the stage. She was wearing a red dress with red shoes. Her mane was in a messy ponytail with a red ribbon in it.
"For my talent, I'll be completing the Surgeon Simulator game without losing any blood", announced Pixel
"Uh-Oh", whispered Sweetie Belle and Rarity
"GO PIXEL", cheered Button Mash "EVEN I CAN'T DO THAT, AND IM A VIDEO GAME CREATOR"
Pixel started playing the game. Ponies were starting to get grossed out by the blood and guts. Then, she finished the game.
"TA-DA", said Pixel
"Ok…judges?", asked Hoity walking up the stage
"2", said Photo
"1", said Diamond
"6", said Trend
"Another round of applause for Pixel", said Hoity
Pixel ran backstage. While there, she ran past Jewel and Bling Bling.
"Ok you know what to do about Derpy Eyes right?", asked Jewel
"Yup", replied Bling Bling
"Good, cause I deserve to win not her"
Sugar walked past them. She was wearing a magenta dress with a blue fabric on the skirt with purple shoes. She had her mane curled with a magents hat with a blue flower on her head.
"Now for our final contestant, contestant #10 Sugar Sweets", announced Hoity
"Hey Sugar", greeted Jewel "Good luck"
"Thanks?", replied Sugar
She walked up the stage holding a baton.
"For my talent, I'll do a baton dance", announced Sugar
She started dancing while twirling her baton. Everypony started cheering.
"Now", said Jewel
Bling Bling pulled a rope which made a bucket of water dump all over Sugar. The spell wore off, which made Sugar's eyes off again. The crowd gasped.
"DISQUALIFIED", yelled Diamond
"C'mon, so her eyes are off", said Trend "That doesn't mean you should disqualify her"
"If she's not perfect, she shouldn't even bother signing up", scolded Diamond
Suddenly, Blitz flew up to the stage and stood infront of a crying Sugar.
"How dare you say those things about her", scolded Blitz "Sugar Sweets is the sweetest, awesomest, most beautiful filly in Equestria"
The crowd awed.
"And I quit", said Sugar walking backstage "Good day"
Blitz went backstage with her. Then Hoity walked up the stage.
"Attention everypony", announced Hoity "It appears that we have a tie between Royal Jewel and Gemstone Shimmer"
Gem and Jewel walked up the stage.
"Now I will ask both of them the same question", explained Hoity "And whichever answer I like, will win. Now Jewel, if you win the 5,000 bits, what would you do with it?"
"I would take a trip to Mareis, duh", replied Jewel
"Gem, same question", said Hoity
"Well, I would use the money to help The Cutie Mark Crusaders", explained Gem
"And what is this Cutie Mark Crusaders?", asked Hoity
"It's a club devoted to helping ponies earn their cutie marks"
"Can anypony join?"
"Yeah, even ponies that already have their cutie marks. As long as they help fellow crusaders"
"Hm interesting"
Everypony was silent for a moment.
"So…who won?", asked Magnum
"The winner of The Little Miss Ponyville is…Gemstone Shimmer", announced Hoity
Everypony started cheering except Diamond and Jewel.
"And where did you get those dresses?", asked Hoity
"I made them", explained Gem
"Now I know how you got your cutie mark"
"Cutie mark?", asked Gem "What cutie mark?"
Hoity pointed to her flank. She earned her cutie mark. It was a pink gem heart.
"Whoa", said Gem
Meanwhile, Sugar and Blitz were talking.
"Did you really mean those things about me?", asked Sugar blushing
"Of course", replied Blitz blushing
They were silent for a couple of minutes.
"Blitz?"
"Yeah?"
Sugar brought her lips close to his and kissed him.
During the weekend, everypony congratulated Gemstone on earning her cutie mark. They also congradulated Sugar Sweets and Meteor Blitz on becoming a couple. Then Monday came, and all the foals had to go back to school. Sugar and Blitz were walking together.
"Ugh what are you too, a couple?", scolded Royal Jewel walking by
"Actually Jewel, we are", replied Sugar
Jewel stopped in her tracks and turned around.
"Wait, your seriously a couple?", asked Jewel
"Yup", replied Blitz
"Ok Blitz", said Jewel "What's wrong with you?"
"Why would you date that thing when you could date somepony slightly less prettier than me?", asked Jewel
"That 'thing' happens to be my lovely fillyfriend", explained Blitz "And she's perfect, just the way she is"
"Whatever", said Jewel walking inside
Bugar (Sugar and Blitz) kissed and walked inside. School was a same old boring day. After school, Pipsqueak ran to the school looking for Cortland.
"Howdy Pa", greeted Cortland "What brings you here?"
"We need to go to the hospital", explained Pipsqueak
"Why?"
"Your mom's there"
"IS SHE INJURED?!"
"No, she just wants you to meet a very special pony"
They walked to the hospital. When they got to a room, they saw Applebloom holding a newborn foal. It was yellow like AB, with brown spots on its eye, flank, and hooves. It's mane was red and green.
"Is that?", asked Cortland
"Yup, this here is your new baby sister", explained AB
"What's her name?"
"Apple Seed"
"Can I hold her?"
"Sure"
AB gave Apple Seed to Cortland.
"Hey there Apple Seed", cooed Cortland "Im your big brother Cortland. I gurantee that in the future you'll be the best Cutie Mark Crusader ever. I guarantee that Little Seed. Hey, that could be your nickname"
Cortland spent the rest of the day spending time with his little sister Apple Seed.
Over the next few weeks, the crusaders kept trying to earn their cutie marks. One day, Sugar Sweets came up with the idea of baking.
"Baking?", asked Orion
"Yeah, my mom works at Sugarcube Corner. So she can probably help us out", explained Sugar
"But it sounds so lame", complained Zap Bolt
"C'mon Zap, it'll be fun", begged Aria
"Oh alright", replied Zap
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS BAKERS YAY", cheered The Crusaders
They walked into the bakery and saw a heavily pregnant Pinkie Pie.
"Hey there kids", greeted Pinkie "How can I help you?"
"Hey mom", replied Sugar "Do you think you can help us earn our cutie marks in baking?"
"Sure, come on in"
The crusaders walked into the bakery. They divided into two groups (Colts and fillies) and started baking. After they put them in the oven, they started to relax.
"Now we wait", said Orion
They sat around doing nothing for a couple of minutes until Pinkie hopped in the kitchen.
"Hey guys", greeted Pinkie "Are the cakes ready"
"They are now", said Sugar taking the cakes out of the oven
The girls cake turned out great. But the boy's cake was burned and messy. Suddenly, Pinkie hunched over in pain.
"What's wrong mom?", asked Sugar
"I think Im having the foal"
"WHAT?!", the crusaders said in unison
"What do we do?", asked Cortland
"Go get-OW…Cheese", said Pinkie
"Zap, your the fastest out of all us", said Orion "Go find Cheese"
"On it", said Zap flying away
"How are we gonna get to the hospital?", asked Aria
"Don't worry", said Orion "I got this"
Orion performed a spell. Suddenly, the crusaders and Pinkie teleported to the hospital. Meanwhile, Zap was flying through Ponyville, until he saw Cheese Sandwich. He flew straight down to him.
"Hey Zappy", greeted Cheese "What's up?"
"No time *pant* Pinkie has *pant* gone into labor", explained Zap catching his breath
"WHAT?! But the foal isn't due for another week"
Cheese grabbed Zap, put him on his back, and ran straight for the hospital. When he got there, he was right by Pinkie's side. The kids were waiting with Cheese Whiz in the waiting area.
"I really hope Mom's ok", said Sugar
"Don't worry sweetie", assured Meteor Blitz "Your mom will be ok"
Blitz kissed her cheek and wrapped his hooves around her. Meanwhile, Zap and Whiz were chatting.
"You know Zap, I thought you were kinda cool when you were flying super fast", complimented Whiz
"Thanks", replied Zap "Too bad I didn't get my cutie mark in baking though"
"But you did get your cutie mark in speed"
"Huh?"
Zap looked down at his flank and saw his cutie mark. It was a yellow lightning bolt.
"Huh, cool", said Zap
A couple minutes later Cheese came out of the room.
"WOO HOO", cheered Cheese while shooting the party cannon
Whiz, Cheese, and Sugar walked in the room and saw Pinkie holding a small pink earth pony foal with brown spots on it's eye, muzzle, flank, and hooves. It's mane was brown with pink stripes.
"Kids, meet your new brother Choco Berry", introduced Pinkie
"I can see why you called him that", said Sugar
"Yeah, he looks like a chocolate covered strawberry", added Whiz
"He sure does", said Cheese noggying his son
The Pie-Sandwich family welcomed a new member of the family. Who may be a future party planner.
The crusaders were talking in the clubhouse, until Sugar Sweets walked up with a box on her
"Hey guys, guess what", greeted Sugar
"Choco Berry said his first word?", asked Apple Buck
"No", replied Sugar
"Then what?", asked John
"This", said Sugar lifting her cape
The crusaders stared in awe.
"Sugar, you got your cutie mark", said Gemstone
Sugar's cutie was a piece of blue cotton candy on a stick.
"How'd you get it?", asked Meteor Blitz
"Well it all started yesterday", explained Sugar "Whiz and I were sitting at home, waiting for Mom and Dad to come home from the hospital with Berry. Whiz suggested suprising them with dessert, and I thought it was a great idea. I wanted to make cotton candy since it's easy. I decided to make blue cotton candy since Mom had a colt. By the time they came home, the cotton candy was finished. So I gave my parents the cotton candy, and they said it was delicious. And that's how I got my cutie mark"
"That's great sweetie", complimented Blitz kissing her cheek
"So what's in the box?", asked Orion
Sugar opened the box. Inside the box was blue cotton candy.
"Cotton candy from yesterday", explained Sugar
Everypony took a piece and started eating it.
"Sugar, this cotton candy is great", complimented Pixel
"Aw thanks guys", replied Sugar
While everypony was eating their cotton candy, Aria and Cortland started chatting.
"Um Cortland?"
"Eeyup?"
"You got cotton candy on your cheek"
"I do?"
"Yeah"
Aria ate the cotton candy off of Cortland's cheek, and he started blushing. Aria started giggling.
It was a bright and beautiful day in Ponyville, but it wasn't just an ordinary day. It was Family Appreciation Day. Every filly and colt in school decided to bring in a family member. Johnathan brought in Applejack. Sugar Sweets brought in Pinkie Pie. Gem brought in Hope Diamond. Apple Buck brought in Autumn Leaves. Meteor Blitz brought in Razor Wind. Spectrum Chaser brought in Rainbow Dash. Orion brought in Flash Sentry. Cortland brought in Applebloom. Zap brought in Rumble. Aria and Pixel brought in their parents. Royal Jewel brought in Diamond Tiara. And Bling Bling brought in Snips (His father). Snips was about finished his presentation.
"And that's how I decided to be a barbor", announced Snips "Thank you"
Everypony started to clap.
"Thank you Mr. Snips", said Dinky "Our next presenter is Apple Buck's sister Autumn Leaves"
Everypony started to clap, especially Buck.
"YAY AUTUMN", cheered Buck
Autumn Leaves gave a speech about her life and her fruends. When she finished, everypony clapped.
"Any questions?", asked Autumn
Bling Bling raised his hoof.
"Uh yeah, is it true that your a mistake?", asked Bling Bling
Everypony started to gasp.
"What?", asked Autumn
"You heard him", said Jewel "Your a mistake"
"MY SISTER IS NOT A MISTAKE", yelled Buck standing up
"Oh yeah? Then how come Big Macintosh isn't her father?", asked Bling Bling
"What do you mean?", asked Buck
"Before your mom Fluttershy started going out with Big Mac, she dated a different stallion named Stratus"
"W-what?"
"Just face it Buck, your entire family is a mistake", teased Bling Bling
"OK THAT'S IT"
Buck tackled Bling Bling and started punching him. Bling Bling started bleeding, while everypony started to panic.
"YOU HAVE MESSED WITH THE WRONG COLT!", yelled Buck
Bling Bling started punching back and gave Buck a bloody nose. Suddenly, they were seperated by Dinky levitating them.
"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH", yelled Dinky "I'll see you two after school"
After school, Dinky called Bling Bling and Buck's parents. Bling Bling's mom, Silver Spoon was different from when she was a filly. Her mane was no longer braided, and her pearl necklace had a charm that matches her cutie mark in it. Buck's parents weren't there yet, but Applejack stayed for him.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR MUTT OF A NEPHEW TRIED TO MURDER MY SWEET LITTLE BLING BLING", yelled Silver Spoon
"First of all Mrs. Spoon, your son is not sweet. Second of all, Your son started it", explained Applejack
"But your nephew started punching my Bling Bling. UGH THIS RIDICULOUS! WHERE IS HIS PARENTS?!"
"They said they can't make it for some reason", explained Dinky
"Besides, your son started calling my neice a mistake", explained Applejack
"Well, he was just being honest", replied SS
"What are you saying?"
"Im just saying that Fluttershy should've gotten rid of her as soon as she found out"
"YOU TAKE THAT BACK"
"NOT UNTIL YOU HAVE THAT REDNECK NEPHEW OF YOURS APOLIGIZE TO MY SON"
"Honey, I-", said Snips calmly
"STAY OUT OF THIS SNIPS", yelled SS
"Apoligize for insulting my family", ordered AJ
"Very well". said SS "Im sorry your entire family is a disgrace to Equestria"
"THAT'S IT", yelled AJ
She grabbed a hold of SS.
"YOU AND YOUR LITTLE FRIEND DIAMOND TIARA HAVE MESSED WITH MY FAMILY FOR TOO LONG", yelled AJ
"Oh yeah? What are you gonna do about it?", asked SS
"IF YOU DON'T STOP, I WILL MAKE YOUR LIFE A LIVING TARTURAS! And it'll be a shame if Diamond loses all of her money"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I have to donate most of my apple products for Barnyard Bargains. And if I don't donate anything, Diamond won't have anything for her store, and she loses money. All because of you. UNDERSTAND?!"
"Y-yes ma'am"
Applejack dropped SS and grabbed Apple Buck. They started walking to Fluttershy's cottage.
"Auntie AJ?", asked Buck
"Yeah, sugarcube?", asked AJ
"Am I in trouble?"
"Probably"
"Are you mad at me?"
"No sugarcube, Im mad at that stupid Silver Spoon"
"Yeah, she is kinda mean"
AJ and Buck shared a laugh.
"Auntie AJ?"
"Yeah?"
"Why couldn't Ma and Pa come to pick me up?"
"I don't know"
They made it to the cottage. They opened the door, and saw that it was empty.
"MOM?!", called Buck "YOU HOME?!"
Suddenly, Autumn flew downstairs.
"Shh, your gonna wake the foal", shushed Autumn
"Come again?", asked AJ
"Follow me"
The three ponies walked upstairs and saw Fluttershy and Big Mac holding a small brown pegasus foal with a yellow and red mane.
"Oh hello Buck, Applejack", greeted Fluttershy
"You went into labor?", asked Buck
"Eeyup", replied Fluttershy
Big Mac giggled at her response.
"Is it a filly or colt?", asked AJ
"It's a filly", explained Big Mac
"What's her name?", asked Buck
"We decided to call her Meadowlark", explained Fluttershy
"Why'dcha call her that?", asked Buck
"Well, meadowlarks are my favorite birds", explained Fluttershy "And she had the colors of a meadowlark. Plus, it sounded like a pretty name"
"She's so cute", said AJ holding her
Later that night, Autumn started tossing and turning in bed, then she started crying. Buck walked into her room and saw her crying.
"Autumn, why are you crying?", asked Buck
"Im fine, Buck", lied Autumn
"No your not, your crying in your sleep"
"Well, Im just offended of what your little friends said. I guess I am a mistake"
"First of all, Royal Jewel and Bling Bling are not my friends, their just a couple of bullies. Second of all, your not a mistake. Your the best sister a colt could ever have"
"Thanks Buck", said Autumn hugging him "So did you get in trouble?"
"Well, Miss Dinky gave me 2 weeks of detention. Plus Mom and Pa, grounded me for a week. But they appreciated me standing up for you"
"Oh, well Im gonna head to bed"
"Ok goodnight sis"
Buck started to walk out the door.
"Buck?"
"Yeah, sis?"
"Wanna sleep in my bed with me?"
"Sure"
Buck walked to Autumn's bed and layed next to her.
