CHAPTER 1 ENDING UNDER REVISION

Kris Brandii had an exciting life on Earth, before he was sent to the moon. He had friends, family, a dog, and many things to live and be there for. Soon enough, the Earth was completely deprived of all of it's natural/important resources. Water, Fresh Air, Plant life, healthy animals? All gone, we weren't sure what had caused all of this, but shortly after us Humans realized this, we were at a loss. The military soon had been forcing people to be sent to the moon, not as punishment, for testing. We were equipped with Astronaut suits, and other special equipment. After we had arrived, it took a whole month to find what was classified as Heel-3. This substance can be made into realistically anything. Later after the discovery of Heel-3, we were forging heel-3 suits, to further increase the time we can spend outside, in the black space. Kris Brandii was just a miner, in a small place named "M00NT0WN" on the moon, clever name, right? But there was a bizarre accident in the mines that put him in a place where he wasn't just a miner.

"Okay, goodbye mom!"

"Indescribable Muttering"

"What!?"

"More Indescribable Muttering"

"What are you saying!!!???"

"You already know"

"Jesus, okay goodbye Mah!!" Kris waved and walked away. His mother up on the cold, lifeless hill, on the moon. Yes, the moon. Kris did not like the moon, it sucked here. It had no character, nothing interesting about it, and it was just plain boring. Although he hated it, he loved it at the same time, beautiful view of the Earth, stars, and meteors. Kris enjoyed his job; waking up at six o' clock in the morning, eating gross food, putting on a heavy mining suit, walking two miles across the moon, being greeted by an annoying crew, swinging a pickaxe for 12 hours, then walking back home. The whole idea of this was made by ambassadors around the world and crap, making people live on this piece of rock. Just to live terrible lives here, when they had good ones back home.

"Hi! Kris!! Kris! Kris! Over here! Kriskriskriskriskriskris!!!" Amanda shouted, knowing damn well that this annoyed him. He kept walking, his face distorting into a look of annoyance. Amanda bounced over to him and walked next to him, dragging her pick across the sand.

"What is it, Amanda? Here to just bother me.... again" Kris said, looking over to her.

"Oh you, know this and that." Kris mumbled something. "Sorry Kris! It's just so fun seeing you angry!" Amanda ran ahead of him before he decided to snap her air tubes in half.

"My god that woman, I wish she'd just..." Kris stopped.

"Just what?" Roger said, crossing his arms and trying to intimidate Kris. Roger was Amanda's brother, he was strong, fearless, and honest.

"Oh um, I wish she'd just... Um, have a nice bowl of cereal!" Kris put on a fake smile, Roger squinted his eyes.

"You'd better watch it Kris" Roger walked away.

Kris continued to walk to the mining site, still as bored as ever. A shooting star flew by, catching is attention, he sighed.

"I wish I could get off this moon" The star flew by as he gave his wish. The walk, as usual, was uneventful.

"Ah, Kris, there you are" Mr. Glondagass said, taking his douchebag glasses off of his face. "I was wondering when you'd show up, about damn time" Kris clenched his fist, and growled, this guy was more annoying than Amanda. Along with Mr. Glondagass; Amanda, Louis, Terrence, Lucy, Emmet, and Pothead Steve were here. Louis was that stuck up, cocky asshole that thought he could do anything better than anyone. Terrence was quiet and never said anything unless asked to, and he could barely pick up his pick. Lucy was a rich girl who only cared about her looks, she always rated herself a ten and looked at everyone else as ones. Emmet, was, a total, well.... he was a great friend to Kris, always talking to him and being kind, but he was a bookworm by heart. Pothead Steve, was a pothead, simple. Mr. Glondagass was the boss of us, and he taught us how to do things and when, why, and where we do them.

"Hey, foster, how's that "family" back home?" Lucy said, smirking.

"Fuck you" Kris said. Kris was a foster child, yeah. He wasn't uncomfortable when he talked about it, but Lucy just teased him for it.

"Krisssss, Hi" Amanda whispered, waving slightly. Kris just ignored her, and grabbed his locker key, opening the locker. Kris stared at the pictures on the inside, they were all of his old friends, and his family. One of which was his favorite, when they were all at a new years party, and Kris had his girlfriend over.

"Good times" He said, grabbing a water bottle and a pack of dry crackers. He went in line for the cafeteria, the building has lots of oxygen, he took his helmet off. There was about 200 people at best in there, it was a large place though, the line was never a pleasant wait. He didn't really like the food, but he had to eat, he always snuck crackers though, they were the only edible things that were good. The noise of people chatting in the food court reminded him of school, he had a nice group of friends with a designated table. The food was great, and it was indoors, so yeah, awesome. His school wasn't those dumb television or movie schools with the nerd, popular, emo, musician, and hippie tables. It was just a nice school with relatively mixed "groups" of people. Man, he really did miss his friends, Kris' thoughts were interrupted by an all to familiar voice.

"Kris, watcha doing?" Amanda said, leaning over his shoulder and placing her chin on it. Kris sighed heavily, and stepped aside so Amanda was no longer resting her chin on him.

" I'm NOT doing ANYTHING Amanda!!" He shouted, everyone looking his way, he looked around. He stormed out of the door and everyone went back to their business. He put his helmet on and rushed to get away from Amanda.

"Kris! Im sorry! I didn't mean to-"

"Didn't mean to what! Purposely annoy the fuck out of me!? You ACCIDENTALLY ruin my time on this piece of crap!? NO! YOU KNOW YOU DO! NOW LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!" Kris pushed Amanda away from him, and he turned around. He heard sobbing. Oh no, he thought. He turned around to face Amanda, she was crying. Kris sighed.

"Look, Amanda, I.... I'm sorry I went off, I-I.... Can you forgive me?" She stood there, as if she was thinking about it. Kris was about to give up waiting and leave when she hugged him.

"I forgive you" She said, squeezing the life out of Kris. Kris was taken by surprise, but he still hugged back. This lasted for a while.

"Amanda, I think we can sto-"

"A little longer..."

"..."

Silence...

"Okay, I'm done" Amanda pulled away and looked at Kris. Kris was looking around awkwardly, when they made eye contact. Amanda blushed and ran off into the food court.

"What am I going to do with that girl" Kris said, to himself. He walked back inside the cafeteria, the line died down significantly. Kris easily walked up to the counter and grabbed his food. He looked around for Emmet, but no sign of him.

"That's odd, he always at that table" Kris said, looking around some more. Kris thought of that one time that Emmet... "Oh no"

Kris sprinted into the bathroom, to find Emmet on the floor, covered in bruises and blood. He ran to his aid, looking around to see who did this. You see, some asshole said that Emmet was the reason why we're on the moon. Spreading the rumor that his family came up with the plan, but it was complete bullshit. Obviously, people didn't like being on the moon, so they took it out on Emmet.

"Emmet! Emmet! Who did this to you!" Kris yelled, his face turning red. Emmet groaned and slowly said.

"T-Tyrone, d-did this" Emmet coughed, Kris looked at the door.

"Stay here, Emmet, I'll be right back." Kris walked out of the door, his eyes targeting Tyrone. He knew he couldn't just start fighting with him, everyone would be paying attention and then he may get in trouble. One thing people enjoyed doing though.

Was food fighting.

Kris slowly scooped his pudding in his hand, and then threw it at some random guy. He didn't instantly turn around, he rubbed the back of his head, and looked at his hand.

"Who did this!" The man grabbed his apple and chucked it across the room, hitting someone. Now it was on, everyone grabbed their trays and fired away, throwing every piece of food on the tray. Kris, ran Tyrone's direction, clenching his fists. Tyrone was not seeing this, which was the plan. Kris punched him in the face, Tyrone stumbled back and bumped against the wall.

"Brandii! The hell is your problem!" Tyrone said, swinging at him. Kris hated being called by his last name, he ducked under the fist, uppercutting Tyrone in the chin. Kris tackled him and pushed his face into the cold, tiled floor.

"Don't EVER touch Emmet again" Kris made sure Tyrone got the point and walked away. He ran through the food launching crowd, and back into the bathroom, but he got help on the way. Medics rushed in and cared for Emmet, now everyone was curious, the food fighting stopped. Almost every person in the food court was looking at the medics. Kris walked out of the cafeteria, it was almost time for work. He opened his locker and placed his water back inside, turning around to sharpen his pickaxe. He turned on the machine and rested his pick against the wheel, which spun violently to sharpen the tool. Everyone was soon, outside, chatting, and waiting for Mr. Glondagass' orders.

"Hey Kris! You know what happened to Emmet?" Amanda asked, sitting next to him, chewing on an apple.

"Yeah, Tyrone happened" Kris said.

"Gah! I soooo hate that guy, I just wish someone could kick his butt or something!" Kris laughed at this statement.

"Alright folks! We are going to be mining today!" Mr.Glondagass yelled into the crowd.

"Yeah! No shit!" Someone shouted back, making everyone laugh. Mr.G just rolled his eyes and directed us from which points we would be mining. Pretty much a point A, point B type of thing. Kris was left without a partner due to Emmet not being able to mine right now.
Kris sighed heavily, it's always harder without a partner, everyone knew this.

Three hours, it's been THREE hours, and yet Kris has found nothing. No Heel-3, no lunatite, no nothing. It went much slower when alone, he decided to take a breath of fresh air. He slowly walked out of his tunnel, then he realized he couldn't "take a breath of fresh air" if he was in space. He faceplamed, or facehelemted but he still wanted to get out of his tunnel. He didn't want to get caught slacking by Mr.G, so he didn't go completely outside. Only his upper half suck out of the hole. He looked at the Earth which, sadly, was changing color due to the deprivation of basically everything.

"Man, it would still be better than this" He said to himself, looking at the stars, staring for constellations. He saw Orion's Belt, and The Big Dipper, but he saw one that he never knew existed. It was the head of a horse or something, and it had a horn.

"So, a unicorn? The hell?" Kris said, looking at it more, it had these big eyes that were colored by the bluer stars. It was interesting indeed, but he didn't stare for long. Another shooting star flew by.

"Once again, I wish I could get off this moon!" He shouted up into the black space, luckily no one was around to hear that. He walked back into his tunnel and found a piece of lunatite that was... never there. At least, he hoped it was there and he just didn't see it, otherwise he'd be going crazy. He swung his pick at it, it made a loud ringing on contact. Kris tried to cover his ears, but he was in a suit.

"STOP THAT" He yelled, swinging the pickaxe as hard as he could into the lunatite, causing it to emit a blinding light. It released some pressure that cracked his helmet, Kris began to panic. "Oh shoot!" He yelled, the sound causing the tunnel to collapse onto itself. He was stuck in there, with a loud piece of ore, and a quickly depleting oxygen supply.

"SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!! ANYONE. SOMEONE!!" He banged his fists against the wall that blocked his way out. The lunatite was like a black hole now, sucking everything in, the sand was quickly being sucked in. Kris held on for dear life, hoping that it would suck in the rocks and dirt blocking him before he got sucked in. The pickaxe embedded into the wall that was saving Kris' life gave in to the suction.

"NOOOOOO!" Kris said, being sucked inside the lunatite. It hurt like a bitch, his whole body being forced to fit into a hole that a mole would make. The flashing lights and loud beeping were driving Kris crazy. He eventually blacked out.

-----

"Jesus, what just happened" Kris groaned, the everlasting pain in his body taunting him. He lay uncomfortably on a bumpy, hard surface. Little bumps stabbing his back and making this whole thing more uncomfortable. His lips were dry and he felt a little exposed. He couldn't look to see, he was way to tired, he didn't want to fall asleep. He could sense the light just beyond his eyelids, and he could feel the heat from, whatever released heat. He managed to choke up the power to open his eyes and move his arms, he began to roll a bit and then he was in the air.

"Oh shi-" Kris slammed to the ground, landing on his back, because you know, he can't feel pain or anything. "Whhhyyyyy god" He groaned he back arching upwards from the pain. He looked up to the bright blue sky, with pure white clouds and chirping birds. He felt a little smile trying to free itself from the jail of pain it was in. The air smelled... good, that was something Kris would never think about. He stared into the sky, scanning it, he saw clouds, and the moon. He then went to see where he...

"Wait, was that the moon?" Kris said, looking back up at the moon. He felt those not-so-familiar tears of joy creep up on him and instantly pour out. "YESS" He yelled, which just caused him to cough, he needed water. He slowly stood up, using the odd statue he was laying on as support. He saw a well taken care of garden in front of him, full of bloomed flowers and green bushes and such. It was definitely odd though, seeing how Earth was never looking like this when he left. He found a fountain in the middle of the garden, Kris decided to wash himself, since he was naked. He didn't want to even think about why he was naked, hopefully he wasn't violated while he was out. He sat in the fountain, the water it was spewing out making a great makeshift shower. Too bad it didn't have curtains, because obviously someone lived here. While taking care of himself, Kris noticed something that was so noticeable, he was questioning his ability to see things well anymore. There was a very large, fancy castle ahead, and it blew his mind.

"What, that actual fuck!? A castle! What is this! England!" Kris shouted, staring at the regal building. He finished his fountain shower and decided, since there were no towels, he'd just walk around and have the sun dry him off. He started questioning if this was Earth.

"Okay, so, all of the sudden, we have giant castles, fresh gardens, and non polluted air?" Kris scratched his chin, there was no way that was possible! "But, where else would I be? Right? I mean, this looks like Earth and stuff, but this is so..." He couldn't think of the right word. He looked at the moon again.

"I must be dreaming" Kris saw a winged pony, in the sky watching him. It just hovered there, it looked scared. Kris couldn't help but do the same thing, stare. Kris broke the silence with a cough, it shrieked and then flew away.

"Okay, what the hell" Kris was confused, this wasn't Earth! This was.... some kind of apocalyptic pony takeover! He even saw one in the stars! Kris looked back at the statue, it was a freaking pony. Kris clenched his fists, what did he do to deserve this? He felt like just curling up in a ball and dying. He walked over to the fountain and washed his face, he couldn't help it, down came the tears. He felt so heartbroken, after all of that hope, it was just taken away by one fact! This place wasn't Earth! Kris heard multiple footsteps or hoofsteps coming his way.

"She said it was in the garden, this way!" A voice spoke, Kris looked over in the direction of the voice. He didn't expect three armored ponies to find him.

"Hey! You! What are you and why are you here! this place is off limits!" Off limits? There was just a pony here!, Kris thought, he backed up a little, they had swords. One of them looked at the statue behind Kris, there was a pickaxe embedded on the side.

"It vandalized castle property! Arrest it!" One said, the three charged at Kris.

"The hell!?" Kris yelled, he didn't run though, he stood his ground. The ponies only reached his stomach, they definitely weren't going to be a problem, he thought. Kris got ready to fight. The one in front tackled Kris, they were way faster than he thought. Kris grabbed the pony's throat and threw him off. The other two charged together, each grabbing one arm, smart. Kris' arms were held down, he flailed his legs, trying to break free. The last guard stood on Kris' chest, using his horn to put magic cuffs of Kris. Kris, with a newfound strength, quickly raised his right arm, tossing the pony guard off, and then he grabbed the other one. Kris clenched the guards horn, and threw him away. The other guard punched Kris in the face, he felt a sharp pain to his nose, and in an instant crimson liquid poured from it.

"Gah! Screw you!" Kris head-butted the pony, probably not the best idea considering it had a helmet, but it did disorient it. Kris got up and held his nose, the blood came out like a waterfall. He was tackled once again by the same damn guard. Kris' head slammed against the bottom of the fountain and he was suddenly in water. The guard held his head in the water, Kris was going to drown, he was struggling. Kris was clawing the guards face, trying to scratch his eyes out. The other members pinned Kris' arms down again. Soon, Kris was fighting for his life, he had to get out of this water. He launched his head up and bit down on the guards snout, the pony reeled his head back in pain. The other two relentlessly punched Kris, he was losing consciousness. The fountain's water was a light red, all from Kris. Kris eventually blacked out once again, the guards dragged him into the castle.
