> I Love You > by The Asexual Jelly Bean > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Will You? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight stood in the hallway of Canterlot Castle, wondering. Wondering how she’d react when she told her. She wanted to tell Celestia how she really felt about her. She loved her, and she wanted her mentor to know that. The only thing is, she doesn’t think anything will happen, because of the age difference. It’s more than a thousand years difference. But, maybe it’d be ok, she’s still an adult, and so is Celestia. Maybe the difference isn’t that bad as long as they are adults. She stroke her own mane in pure shyness, and went on. She was sweating, and it felt as if her heart was beating faster than the speed of sound. Every step she took sounded like bombs to her ears. As she took the last step towards the door, her heart stopped beating for a second. She used her magic to pull down the door’s handle. As it opened, it made a loud sound, like when a very old door opens. Celestia looked behind her. “Oh, hi, Princess Twilight? What are doing here?” Twilight wanted to say something, but couldn’t, she simply couldn’t, it felt as if time had stopped for but a moment, when she finally decided to say something. “I… I wanted to talk to you about something…” Twilight started blushing intensely, and the sweating got worse. “What did you want to take about, Princess?” Celestia went closer to Twilight, and put a hoof on her shoulder. “I- I’m starting to… develope a… cr-cru…” Twilight couldn’t finish the sentence, she was too afraid of what Celestia would say, or just think, for that matter. “A cru?....” Celestia said, askingly, trying to get the last part of the sentence out. “I’m starting to develope a crush… on…. y-” Twilight was cut off before she could finish. “Oh….” Celestia started blushing, but couldn’t face Twilight. She’d been feeling the same way, but had refused to make anything of it, because of the age difference. “Twilight, I…. don’t think it will work out between us, I mean, I’m 2500 years old, and you’re 25. I just don’t think it will work.” Celestia felt her heart stop, when the words came out of her mouth. “I know, I’ve been thinking the same over and over, but I refused to let that stand in my way. But, I guess you can’t do that.” Twilight looked to the floor, slipping a tear as she was about to turn around. “Twilight, wait. I just can’t do it, there’s a 2475 year difference. It’s just so much.” Celestia took a hold of Twilight, and pulled her in for a hug. “Yes, but, I figured it’d be different, because you’re born as an Alicorn, and the ages work different that way. You still look like you’re in your thirties, and I’m in my twenties, so it would work, wouldn’t it?” Twilight wanted desperately to make it ok for them to be together, but it seemed like a lost cause in her mind. Twilight pulled away from Celestia, and stared at her with puppy eyes. “Of course it’s different like that, but after deciding to live like a normal pony in Equestria, my mind has become used to the rules of pony kind.” Celestia’s eyes started to water, and vice versa. “I know it might seem weird, but if we really love each other, wouldn’t it be ok? And instead of going with the rules of Equestria, go with the rules you’re used to. Please, Celestia! I’m immortal now, as well, so that won’t be a problem.” Celestia smiled at Twilight, but still had to wipe away a tear in her eye. “That is correct. I guess we can try it out, but if any of us start to feel weird, we give it up, deal?” Celestia took a step closer to Twilight. “Great!” Twilight exclaimed. Celestia bowed down to Twilight, and kissed her on the lips, and Twilight kissed her back, turning it into more of a deep kiss rather than just a normal one. They went on for right about 20 seconds before they both pulled away. “Please tell me you didn’t find that weird.” Twilight said, blushing. “I… didn’t….” Celestia said, but she hesitated. Twilight, however, didn’t notice the hesitation, she was too caught up in the moment, and sprung in for a hug at her mentor. “I LOVE YOU!!!” Twilight yelled into her mentor’s coat. Celestia wanted to tell Twilight that she found it a bit weird, but didn’t, because maybe it was just the beginning of it. She hugged Twilight back, but slipped a tear doing so. She thought to herself that it was gonna be ok, but it might take some time. So, the tears went away. Celestia nuzzled Twilight’s mane, and kissed her forehead, and her student started blushing, and she could feel a stream of warmth going towards her head. Twilight felt comfortable now, she felt confident. She looked up from her mentor’s coat and looked directly into her eyes, she kissed her on the lips once more. They stood there, kissing for a bit of time, when Celestia broke it off and spoke. “But, Twilight. We have to keep it a secret for now, we don’t want to cause a ballad just yet, which we surely will.” Celestia said, giggling. Twilight simply blushed further and nodded. … A few days had passed, and Twilight had been staying at the castle, she’d been sleeping beside Celestia in the royal chamber. Every morning, when Twilight woke up, she found herself cuddling with her mentor and she felt so good about it. Sure, she had hugged her before, but never as a sign of actual love. Once again, she woke up in the arms of her mentor, and noticed her mentor still sleeping, so, she kissed her mentor on the cheek and rose up. As she rose, she looked behind her, noticing Celestia blushing, whilst putting a hoof to her cheek. She put her hoof under her bedsheets again, and Twilight went out. In the chamber, Celestia lay alone, opening her eyes. She was simply pretending to be asleep. She didn’t find the relationship weird anymore, but she did, however worry about what their sex would be like. Kissing, and sleeping in the same bed was one thing, but sex. She had a hard time imagining it, but she’d just have to leave that to the future, and take it as it comes along. > It Needs Thought > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia had gotten used to Twilight being around, and was finally feeling ok with it. She was just really worried about sex, and if that would be ok. Sleeping in the same bed, kissing and hugging was one thing, but sex was hard for her to imagine, but she removed those thoughts for now. Twilight and Celestia sat at the table, eating breakfast, enjoying their meal within the royal kitchen. “So, Twilight. Slept well?” Twilight simply nodded, and looked up at her, now marefriend. “Yeah, how about you, princess?” Celestia looked at Twilight with a serious glare. “Twilight, you don’t have to refer to me as Princess anymore.” Celestia stated, as she nuzzled Twilight’s mane. “I know, it’s just a bad habit. Sorry, Celestia.” Twilight used her magic to nuzzle Celestia’s mane as well, because she wasn’t tall enough to reach Celestia’s mane with her hoof. Twilight glared into the eyes of her marefriend, as she felt a warm fuzzy feeling inside her chest. “I love you, Celestia. I really do.” Celestia used her magic to levitate Twilight closer to her, and kissed her. “I love you too, Twilight. They hugged for a few seconds, before Twilight decided to go back to Ponyville to talk with her friends about the whole thing with her and Celly. “Celestia, I think I’ll go back to Ponyville, my friends must be worried. I haven’t contacted them since I left.” Twilight looked up at her mentor with saddened eyes. “It’s alright. But, can I… accompany you?” Celestia asked, blushing, and stared at Twilight with puppy eyes. Twilight didn’t want to disappoint her new-found love, and thus gave in, and let Celestia come with her. “Of course you can!” They quickly kissed, and teleported to the castle, now standing in Ponyville. “So, we’re here. Hi guys! I’m home! And I brought a friend, if that’s Okay!” Twilight said sarcastically. Rainbow Dash came rushing into the throne room. “Hey, princess, and… princess…” Dash said. “So, you’re together now, I presume? It’s just, Twilight hasn’t been home for a few weeks, so something must’ve happened.” They both blushed and grabbed each other tight. “Indeed so.” Celestia said. She burried her face in Twilight’s mane, and kissed the top of her head. In came Fluttershy, and noticed Celestia kissing Twilight. “YOU’RE TOGETHER?!” She exclaimed, as she witnessed it. “THAT’S AMAZING!!” Fluttershy looked to the left, and motioned for someone to come near her. And as you might’ve guessed, it was Discord. “Celestia? You’re dating your student? Isn’t that often frowned upon?” Discord said sarcastically, whilst making his usual laughter. “Haha, Dipcord.” Celestia said grinning. “As if you’re any better. You’re dating a pony, whilst being a Draconequus.” Celestia looked down at Fluttershy, who was blushing so much that her face had gotten fully red. Dashie and Twilight looked over at the two. “YOU ARE DATING?!” They both yelled at the same time, creating an echo throughout the whole of the castle. And after that, loud thuds were heard coming near them. “WHAAAAAAAAAT?!” A low pitched voice exclaimed. A pink mare stood in the door to the throne room, with Applejack and Rarity behind them. Fluttershy looked like she was about to cry, but held it in. Discord looked at Celestia with a grim expression. “Yes, we are… I know I’m a draconequus, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I can’t date a pony, ok?! And you’re 2500 years old, Celestia, you shouldn’t be talking.” Discord flicked, and a bouquet of flowers appeared in his claw, which he gave to Fluttershy. He lifted her up and hugged her, and Fluttershy kissed him. “We love each other, so there’s no way this is weird!” Fluttershy said. “We know, we know.” Twilight said. “Anyway, Celestia and I just came to tell you the good news.” Pinkie, Rarity and Applejack looked at Twilight and Celestia, whom, they just noticed hugging. “Congratulations, you four!” Rarity said, letting out a squeek. while laughing slightly. “Ya’! Congratulations, Twilight ‘n Princess! I hope ya’ll will stay together! Ya’ll look cute together, hehe….” Applejack started blushing. “YAAAAYY!!!!! I love today! Today’s a great day, and everyday is great! But, this made today even better!!!!!!!!” Pinkie Pie yelled, almost deafening the other ponies in the throne room. “We appreciate your support, guys, really!” Twilight said, as she looked towards Dash, who was still focused on Discord and Fluttershy. “Dash? Are you alright?” She didn’t respond. Twilight flew up to her, and slapped her. “DASH!” “ARGH!!!” Rainbow exclaimed in shock. “Sorry, it’s just. Fluttershy and Discord? Really?” Rainbow was confused and, somewhat surprised. “Yeah, what’s wrong with it?” Fluttershy said in a silent, whispering voice. “It’s nothing, I was just surprised… that’s all….” Rainbow was still confused, but she simply shrugged it off, and looked towards Applejack. “Well, I’m hungry. Can we get some food on the table?” Applejack understood her question, and went to the kitchen with Rarity. She had baked a few apple pies the day before, and there were still a few left. They all went into the dining room of the castle, and sat down on their individual chairs. Well, except for Fluttershy and Discord. They sat on the same chair. They decided it didn’t matter now, that everypony knew anyways. Applejack and Rarity came back with some plates and a couple of pies. “Ooh, they look good.” Fluttershy said. Applejack put one of the pies near Fluttershy, Discord and Rainbow Dash, and cut three pieces of the pie. She gave the 2 ponies and the draconequus a piece each. And Rarity gave to the 3 others, then to Applejack and herself. After eating their pie, and talked a bit, they all rose up. “I think I’ll go back to the castle. Royal duty calls.” Celestia said, bowing down towards Twilight, and kissed her. Twilight hugged her before she left. “Good bye princess, see you tomorrow.” Twilight said, feeling a heat inside. She still felt really good about her and Celestia, and thus felt fuzzy every time they kissed or hugged. Celestia’s horn started to glow, and a yellow bubble formed around her, and she vanished. “Hey, Dash, can I talk to you?” Twilight asked the blue pegasus, as she rose up. “Sure, Twilight, what do you need?” “Alone, please.” Twilight said, swinging a hoof towards the door. “Sure, let’s go to my room.” Rainbow said, as she started flying slowly towards the door, pacing with Twilight. When they were inside the room Twilight spoke. “I need some help. But, I need to ask you something first.” Twilight said, very nervous. “What is it, Twilight?” Rainbow asked, looking a bit scared. “Are you gay?” The question hit Rainbow by surprise. “Well… I wouldn’t say that, I mean, yeah, some mares are ok, but it’s nothing spe-” She was cut off by Twilight. “Ok, but, I want to… you know…. have…. se-se… sex…. with Celestia, but I fear I’m not ready, and I don’t know how.” Rainbow looked at Twilight with confusion. “Ok, fine. Yes, I’m into mares… but, also stallions! Don’t judge me… I’m sorry, I’m overreacting. But, how should I be able to help you with this?” Rainbow Dash asked, and Twilight started wondering. “Good question… but, I guess that will come naturally, but I’m afraid of I get it started. I want to do it soon, but I don’t want to rush it.” Twilight seemed kind of afraid that she’d ruin her and Celestia’s relationship. “Twilight, it’ll come natural. At one point you’ll feel it inside, and it just happens, don’t worry too much about it, ok?” Rainbow said, trying to sound wise. “Ok, I guess you are right.” She smiled at Rainbow, and nodded at her. “Thanks, Dash.” “You’re welcome, Twilight.” They both went out of the room. Twilight used a teleportation spell to go back to the castle. … “Celestia?!” Twilight yelled askingly, as she arrived at the castle. Celestia was right at her begging call. “What is it, sweetie?!” Twilight looked at her in confusion. She’d never used the word sweetie before. “I wanted to talk to you again… this time, about something slightly different…” Twilight was a bit nervous, and once again, her heart started pounding. “What is it, Twilight?” Celestia went closer to her, and grabbed around her. “I want to have s-” Twilight was cut off by Celestia. “Oh, sex. Yeah, I’ve been thinking about it, and do you think we’re ready for it?” Celestia asked the purple mare, as she grabbed her tighter. “I don’t really know. But, I really think we should try it. I mean, I’m still…. a… erm… vir…” Twilight was afraid of telling her that she was still a virgin as a 25 year old, really attractive mare. “I get it, you’re still a virgin. Don’t worry, not for much longer.” Celestia’s face started to get kind of curious. She kissed Twilight on the mouth fast. She used her magic to levitate Twilight, and take her into the bed chambers with her. Twilight wasn’t sure how to react, so she just went with it. “Luna isn’t home, she’s at some kind of tea party with Blueblood, so we’re all alone, anyways.” Celestia said, as she kissed Twilight once again. This time she didn’t stop, though, they kept kissing. Celestia took off her crown and shoes. They kissed again, and took it one step further. … “Wow!... that was good. We have to do this again sometime!” Twilight said, excited. Celestia smiled at her and nodded. “You were really good for being a virgin.” Celestia hugged Twilight tight, and they started cuddling. Twilight’s fuzzy warm feeling button inside had been set on reset after the previous events, and she felt simply fantastic, as she lay there with her marefriend, cuddling. They both nuzzled each other’s manes, and kissed each other from time to time. In the end they fell asleep in each other’s arms. > It's Not Right > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight and Celestia lay in bed. They had both just awoken. They’d been dating for a few months now, and Celestia was starting to feel weird about it. She didn’t know how or why those feelings suddenly appeared inside her. Lately, she’d just been thinking about the age again, it’s still so many years. Twilight rose up from the bed, kissing Celestia just before. “Good morning, Celly.” She went on to the bathroom. In the bathroom she turned on the showers with her magic, and waited for the bath to be filled up with warm water, whilst waiting she decided to brush her teeth. As the bath filled up, she stepped in. She took a deep breath, and relaxed. Celestia, however couldn’t stop thinking about her doubts. Her doubts about the relationship. They were starting to get out of hoof, and it was hard for her to keep it in, and she decided to tell her that day. She rose up from the bed and went to the kitchen, where she got a little breakfast. When she heard the hoofsteps of her lover, her heart stopped. She heard the “Hi, Celestia.” from Twilight, and she got paralyzed. Twilight went to her. “Celestia? Erh-uh… are you ok?” Celestia shaked her head, and stared at Twilight. “Yes, I’m fine… I think.” Twilight looked at her with confusion. “Alright…” She placed herself on a chair in the kitchen right in front of Celestia. Twilight couldn’t stop wondering what was up with her. “Celestia, are you alright?” She could see her mentor’s reaction the question. It was a worried reaction, as if Twilight wouldn’t like the answer. Which, obviously she wouldn’t. “No, Twilight. I’m not… these months we’ve been together have been great, but… I… I’m starting to feel doubts about us.” She noticed how the words caught Twilight by surprise, and how she noticed her eyes starting to water. “Twilight, you have to know, it’s not because I don’t love you, because I do, I really do. I just can’t seem to find it OK for us to be together. Let alone tell the kingdom, which we’d have to do sooner or later. And, you know how the Canterlot ponies would react to… a gay pairing.” Twilight’s face turned into more of an angry facade, rather than sad. “So, you’re telling me that you’re breaking up with me, because some ponies don’t approve of us?! The ponies that YOU! Rule over?! You have the power to shut them up, if it was needed, but instead you decide to end our relationship?...” Her anger slightly started to fade, as the tears in her eyes started to form once again. “I just don’t… understand…”. “Twilight, I really want us to work, but it just doesn’t. Not only because we’re mare and mare, but because I’m so much older. And to the other ponies, your friends excluded, think that’s weird.” Twilight stood up, and turned away from Celestia. She didn’t want the conversation to continue, she already knew where it was headed, so she simply walked away, and took it as a break-up instantaneously. “Twilight, where are yo-” “SHUT UP!” Was heard from the purple mare. “I don’t care what you have to say, I already get it. You’re breaking up with me, because of your reputation with the ponies YOU are ruling over. What a princess, right? Too much pride in her reputation to actually be with the pony she loves. Good bye, Celestia. I’ll see you again, once you come to your senses.” Tears started streaming, as her horn started glowing. A bubble appeared around Twilight, popping as it disappeared. Celestia noticed a small pool of water lying on the ground, where Twilight stood. “Those tears…. were because of me and my stubbornness… well, it was for the best. I can’t be with her, it’s just too weird. No matter how much it hurts.” Celestia turned back to her meal, trying to get some food down, but couldn’t. … Twilight had arrived in Ponyville, still crying. She’d teleported to the dining room, where the other 5 ponies and Discord were sitting, enjoying their meals. “Twilight? Are you alright, darling?!” Rarity jumped off her chair, and went straight towards Twilight. “No… I’m not.” Twilight turned away from the group, and went off to her room in the castle. Rarity followed her, but Twilight didn’t answer to any of the questions Rarity asked. “Is it between you and Celestia? Did you break up?” Twilight turned her head towards Rarity, and looked at her angrily. She didn’t want to talk about it, she just wanted to be alone for now. Rarity reacted to the rage from her friend, by walking backwards in shock. “I want to be alone!” Twilight yelled, as she started running towards her room. When she got to her room, she slammed the door, creating a loud thud all the way throughout the castle. Rarity hadn’t moved yet. She was still pretty shocked over it. But, she shrugged it off, and decided to talk to her about it, once she’d calmed down. She went back to the dining room, where she was met by 10 eyes. “What’s up with her?” Applejack asked. “I have no idea, Applejack. She didn’t reply to any of my questions. She just ran into her room.” “So, that’s what we heard?” Pinkie Pie said. Rarity nodded, as a reply to her question. “I believe it has something to do with Celestia. She sent me a grim facade, when I asked about her, so, it’s my theory. I’ll try and talk to her again once she’s calmed down.” “That sounds like a good idea. But, you probably want to wait ‘til she comes to you.” Applejack said. … In the Canterlot castle Celestia was still sitting by herself in the kitchen, not knowing what to make of herself. She still hadn’t eaten any of the food. “Did I make a mistake?... no. It was needed. For the good of the land, we cannot be together. We do not fit together. We just… do- don’t! We don’t.” Celestia couldn’t figure out by herself, if what she did was the right choice or not. She kept convincing herself it was, but it seemed wrong. So, it can’t be the right decision. She abandoned those thoughts for a moment, when she rose up and put her dishes on the table, where they were to be cleaned by her maid. She went into her chamber and put herself on the bed. She didn’t know what to make of herself, so she decided to just sleep. Maybe she’d be less depressed after sleeping. … Twilight Sparkle was doing the same. Lying in bed, wondering if it was for the best, or if her former marefriend was just overreacting. She wanted it to be the latter, but she doubted it was. “It was for the best…” she said, sniffing. “It must have been. I mean, she’s the princess of Equestria, so she must know what the best choices are… but, if the right choices feel so wrong, then how can they be right?..” She lay there, sobbing for hours. And didn’t want to stand up and talk to her friends. She’d rather be alone. Plus, she didn’t want to make her friends feel bad as well. “Knock knock.” She heard from a familiar voice outside the door. “Discord, I’d prefer to stay alone for a while.” But, as most would probably guess, he didn’t care about personal space, and went inside the room anyways. “I’m sorry, Twilight, but I can’t have my friends all sobby. They have to be as happy as I.” He flicked his fingers, and another bouquet of roses appeared in his hand. He handed them to Twilight. She couldn’t hold back a little grin. She couldn’t understand that this was her former rival, now he’s one of her best friends. “Thanks, Discord. But, I’d really like to be alone.” But, once again, Discord ignored those exact words. “Twilight, I want you to know that, I understand your pain. I too had been in love with Celestia, but I was turned down, so I gave up on her. Now you finally have her, so please, for the good of all of us, don’t let her go. We’re talking about the second most amazing mare in Equestria. There’s Fluttershy now. All those years I was locked up in stone, I’d been thinking about Celestia. I always loved her in a strange way. I got into the world of chaos purely because of her, and how she didn’t love me back. but, Fluttershy showed me the same love that I desired from your marefriend. And I started loving her as well. Just, don’t give up on the pony you love, because at one point it will be too late to make things right. So, please, once you have the nerves, go to her, and talk to her. ” He looked Twilight in the eyes, and dried off some tears in her eyes. Twilight hugged Discord, and Discord hugged her back. He never thought he would end up hugging her, but dismissed those thoughts, and focused on the hug. Twilight let him go, and Discord flicked his fingers and returned to the dining room. “Well, that took you long enough, what were you doing?” Dash asked him as he returned. “I was just in the bathroom, can’t a draconequus have some personal space on the toilet anymore? Sheesh!!” “Alright…” Rainbow said. She wasn’t quite sure if she believed him. But, she didn’t really care. “Well, I hope Twilight is ok soon. I really want to talk to her about the whole situation.” Rarity said. “Me too, I always get so sad, when my friends are sad.” Fluttershy said, wiping away a tear. She hugged Discord, and burried her face in his chest. “Please don’t ever let this happen to us!”. “Don’t worry, Fluttershy, it will never happen to us.” He grabbed her tight, in a comforting hug. The other sat on their individual chair, staring at the yellow pony and the draconequus. “Well, I guess I’ll go fly around a bit. Cya, guys!” Rainbow Dash flew off, and the others went off to do some stuff. Rarity went and made a new dress for her new fashion line, Fluttershy went to her cottage to her animals, and fed them, Discord went with her, Applejack went to the farm, she had some chores to do. Twilight heard the doors shut in the castle, and decide to get out of her room. She was starting to feel a bit hungry, so she went to the kitchen and mixed up some food. > Please, Celestia > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “I know Discord was right with what he said, but I fear Celestia won’t give it another chance, no matter what. I get that she’s nervous about how the ponies of Equestria are gonna react. But, she’s still their leader, and they shouldn’t judge her, nor should she let them judge her.” Twilight couldn’t seem to make sense of the situation with Celestia, no matter how hard she tried. She decided to leave it for a while, and see if Celestia would come to her. She went to her room in the castle, and picked up one of the new books, that the box had made, along with the castle itself. Maybe a good book would clear her mind, and she could forget Celestia for just a moment. Twilight took the first book that caught her attention The Sun’s Mystery, apparently it was about how the sun was created, and if it was Celestia who created it. Twilight simply got mad, and threw away the book, not anywhere in particular, she just didn’t want it near her. She picked up another book Daring Do: And the Griffon’s Goblet, it had been a while since she read any of the Daring Do books. She lay down on the bed, opened the book and started reading. … Meanwhile, Celestia was lying in her bed crying. She felt she had made a huge mistake. “How could I let her go like that?! She’s right… I DO have too much pride in my reputation, and I don’t want it to get lost. I wish that the fact that she’s right would change something, but it simply doesn’t. I’m so many years old and she’s so young. But, that’s where she’s right as well, it doesn’t mean as much as an Alicorn, as it would to a normal pony. My age of 2500, would seem as 25. But, since Twilight’s now an Alicorn, she’d practically be a filly compared to me. Even though she’s not. I gotta get it together. It’s wrong, and I can’t do it!” Yet, she wasn’t sure if she was actually telling the truth. … At Fluttershy’s cottage, Fluttershy had noticed something strange about Discord. He was really sad. She knew Discord had changed and all, but she didn’t think he would change THIS much. Actually being depressed over his friend’s problem seems… un-Discord-like. “Discy, are you ok?” Fluttershy asked him, in her usual quiet voice. Discord stared over at her with widened eyes. “Oh, uh, yes, yes of course. I’m just feeling bad for Twilight.” Fluttershy got a little curious. It didn’t look like Discord to act like this. “Discy, are you sure that’s all?” Discord wanted to tell her why he was so sad about it, but thought it would be a bad idea, since it was about him liking Celestia, and him wanting her to be happy. “Yes, yes, Fluttershy. That’s all. No need to worry.” Discord said, convincingly, making Fluttershy sure that there wasn’t anything else. So, she went and fed her animals. Discord sat on a chair looking out the window, and directly up at the almost fallen sun. “I guess Luna is doing it slowly today.” He realized something, though. He looked at the sun and the moon, trying to compare their speed. The sun was going rather slow, as well as the moon. Once the moon and the sun reached twilight, they stopped. “Wait… why did they?” The moon and the sun didn’t move anymore, and it was just at twilight. “Discord?! What’s happening with the sun and the moon? Why aren’t they moving all the way?” Fluttershy came bashing through the door. “I believe Celestia is doing a callout to a special somepony in Ponyville.” He turned to see Fluttershy’s worried face, as it changed to more of a smile. “Wow, really?...” Fluttershy looked fascinated out of the window, sitting beside Discord. They both grabbed around each other, and Fluttershy rested her head on Discord’s chest. “It’s beautiful, don’t you think?” Discord looked at Fluttershy in a questioning manner. “Yeah, it really is.” … In the Castle of Ponyville Twilight had noticed how the sunlight had faded away, and being replaced with the moonlight. But, she was as confused as Discord and Fluttershy once it just stopped. “Why is it?... I suppose something went wrong.” Twilight had given it a thought, that Celestia was trying to call out to her, but she doubted it greatly. She simply dismissed the thought for a while. Once five minutes passed, and they still hadn’t fixed it yet, she started to think about it again. “Ok, something must be up. I need to go check up on the two sisters! One of them could be in trouble.” She closed her almost finished book and teleported away, off to Celestia. … “CELESTIA, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!” Twilight exclaimed as she entered the Castle. “You came?!” Celestia stared at Twilight in pure wonder. Twilight looked at Celestia in down-right confusion. Celestia ran to her with an incredible speed, and grabbed around her as she reached her. Twilight bashed away her mentor’s forelegs. “What do you think you’re doing?!” Twilight was raging at Celestia, both for earlier that day, and for this. “I was worried out of my coat! I thought you were hurt!” Celestia took a step back, away from her student. “You think I’ll just forgive you for doing THIS?! Worrying me, and almost forced me to come here?!” “Twilight, I just wanted to-” “I don’t care what you wanted to do!” Twilight sent an enraged glare to Celestia. “I did this for you, Twilight.” Twilight was careless. She knew that Celestia did it to charm her, but Twilight didn’t fall for it. “Celestia. We broke up for a reason, remember? I still love you, and I get the feeling that you still love me, but we broke up, because you were too proud of your stupid reputation! And I don’t believe you can simply dismiss those thoughts!” Celestia looked at the floor, knowing that Twilight was right. “You’ve dismissed those thoughts for now, I can see that, but, do you believe you can forget about them forever? Are you sure you have the nerves to tell the Kingdom?” “N-no… I don’t. I really wish I did, but you’re right, I can’t. I just care about you so much, Twilight.” Celestia’s eyes started to water, and so did Twilight’s. Even after the events that just occurred, they still hugged each other, in a comforting embrace. They stood there, hugging for a few seconds, when Twilight stepped back. She didn’t step very far, only around one fourth of a meter, when she leaned in towards Celestia and kissed her. They kissed for a while. Just standing there, sharing a passionate moment together. Their lips touching, and their eyes both closed, as they enjoyed every second. But inevitably they pulled away from each other, and Twilight turned around. She took a few steps away from Celestia, sending a tearful glare, and teleported away, leaving Celestia in complete devastation and with a broken heart. “I wish I… could do it. She went into her chamber again. This time she didn’t do anything else than crying. She lay in bed and cried. Covering her face in the covers of the bed. She looked outside of the window for a split second, noticing the sun still hanging in the middle of the sky. She went out of the castle and yelled all over the Kingdom of Canterlot. “DON’T WORRY CITIZENS OF EQUESTRIA! A SIMPLE MISTAKE HAD OCCURRED, AND WE ARE NOW ABLE TO FIX IT!” At that, her horn started glowing, the sun lowered and the moon rose. The twilight disappeared, and Celestia went inside of the castle once more, and put herself in the bed. … Twilight looked outside of the window, crying more than ever as the twilight disappeared. “It’s for the best. I know it is.” She tried to occupy herself with reading the rest of the book, but couldn’t. She was fixated on the earlier events. … Out beside the Everfree Forest, the Draconequus had gone to the bathroom, and teleported to Twilight’s castle, in order to check if they’d broken up, or if they’d come back together. What he was met with killed him inside. “No, Twilight…” Twilight stared up at him with a tear-covered face. “We just don’t belong together, Discord.” She wiped away her tears, but in vain. The tears returned in an instant. “That’s not true, Twilight.” Discord took a step closer to her. “Discord, she has too much pride in her reputation to be with me. If we get together again, and she tells her subjects, then her reputation will be ruined. Because the ponies of Canterlot do not approve of lesbians.” “That shouldn’t be a reason. She is their goddess, and they should obey her. If they don’t approve of her being a lesbian, then that’s just too bad. She is their leader, and they have to respect her.” Discord was angry with the Canterlot ponies now. “That’s what I’ve told her all along, but she won’t listen.” Twilight covered her face once again, trying to hide the streaming tears. “Then I’ll tell her.” He flicked his fingers, and ended up at the Canterlot Castle. “CELESTIA!” Discord was also mad at Celestia for her pride. “Di-Discord? W-what are you doing here?” Celestia looked bummed out and tired. She simply looked like a mess. Her face was pale and wrinkled, her eye-color had faded slightly and her hair looked hideous. “Celestia, I’ve come to talk to you about Twilight.” Celestia’s eyes widened. “Discord, there’s nothing to talk about. We’re not gonna happen. It’s too strange.” “No, Celestia. You just have too low self-esteem. Which is something you have to get over. Get over the way you let the ponies of Canterlot judge you. YOU! are their leader. YOU! decide what’s ok and what’s not. Not those big-headed ponies. Now, go apologize to Twilight, and make it up! I don’t care if you have problems with those god forsaken ponies! You are the one in charge, and if they don’t approve, then that’s too bad for them.” Discord’s face had turned into a raging facade throughout the speech. Celestia had understood what he said, but, she wasn’t sure if she really wanted to, still. “Discord, This is a very hard choice for me to make. I’m afraid that, if I get back together with Twilight and tell it to the ponies of Canterlot, then they’ll lose all respect for me. And, I want to be their leader, not their enemy. And that’s what I’ll have to be, in order for them to approve of it.” Discord stood in his place, thinking. Wondering what he could say to make her change her mind, but he couldn’t seem to find anything. “Alright, Celestia. I see what you mean. But, you could try not acting villainous towards them if you get back together, just to see if it works. I’m sure if their beautiful, majestic leader tells them it’s alright, they’ll understand. Otherwise, they don’t deserve to have you as their leader…” Celestia wasn’t sure what to reply, and she found herself agreeing with what he said. “You know, you’re right, Discord.” Celestia had a moment of realization, before her horn started glowing, and bubble wrapped around her. “I HAVE TO SAY SORRY TO!-...” is what Discord heard before she was gone. He smiled. But, then he realized that Fluttershy was waiting for him. “PONY FEATHERS!” He flicked his fingers, and was gone. … “Twilight, I’m sorry for what I did! If the ponies of Canterlot don’t approve of us, then they can leave! Either that, or they can respect that I am in love with a mare.” Twilight looked up from her bedsheets, and wiped away all the tears she had gathered there. She was looking just like Celestia did now. Wrinkles in her face, faded eye-coloring and very pale compared to her color. “Are you sure, Celestia? I love you, but I don’t want something that will not last.” Celestia nodded with watered eyes and a happy smile. “Yes, Twilight! I’m sure!” She went down to her size level and kissed her on the lips. When they pulled back, she told her “I love you too much to let my subjects stand between us.” And they kissed again. And went on for a while. The rest is left to imagination... … Now they were really sure that they belonged together. After a week they’d worked up the nerves to tell all of Equestria. At first they didn’t approve, but they grew used to it, and they really didn’t mind at all. It took about a month for the bigger part of Canterlot to approve of it. Discord also said sorry to Fluttershy, and he told her the whole story about him and Celestia, and what he was actually doing. At first, Fluttershy was a bit sad, but got over it quite fast, now that she was 100% sure, that Celestia and Twilight were together.
