Moon Star has traveled to Ponyville, only to find the Warriors Of Light. The quest for survival and hope. The journey begins with the five other ponies.
Moon Star is a very intelligent pegasus. He has a mission, to find five other ponies that are warriors. The Warriors Of Light are the only hope for survival in Equestria. This could either be the survival or destruction of Equestria.
The Brave... Moon Star The Fast... Rigis The Clever... Spark Dust The Strong... Earth Crash The Jokester... Peach Dream The Kind... Ocean Tide
A young stallion pegasus with dark blue fur, a glowing bright yellow combed mane, green eyes, silver plated armor, a silver plated metal helmet on his head and a long and sharp sword to his side, walked in the dark and destroyed castle. He looked around, searching for any ponies that could have survived the horrible and powerful earthquake. As he looked around, a pony weakly called for him.
"*cough* M-M-Moon Star?" the bleeding and weak earth pony asked. The pony on the ground was a bleeding elderly earth pony with grey eyes, green fur and an orange mane. He lifted his hoof to the young stallion. The stallion flew over to him, tears beginning to form in his strong and kind eyes.
"Dusk Spot, I'm here, I'm right here," the stallion said as he looked at the bleeding elder. The elder was breathing heavily, and his eyes were beginning to fog. He slowly turned his head, looking at the stallion before him.
"M-Moon S-Star, go find the Warriors Of Light," the elderly stallion said as he began to drift. The young pegasus quickly grabbed the elder's hoof, as he cried.
"W-where, Dust?" the stallion asked as his eyes were teary and red. The elder said no words, but laid motionless on the cool and broken castle floor.
The stallion stood up, wiped his tears and picked up the stallion's limp body, he carried him out of the castle and dug a hole. He gently laid the limp body inside the hole and covered it with the dirt. He picked up a small flower and laid it on top. He spend a few minutes at the grave before standing and leaving him behind.
The lone pegasus flew to a small cottage, it was lit and he was happy to see a familiar home. He took notice of the door being partly open. In fear he ran into the house and was scared as he saw two dead young foals. The puddles of blood covering the floor. He them looked into the kitchen where a young mare laid dead on the tile floor. He looked at the blood on the cold floor. He laid there scared for a few minutes before he put the mare's and foals' dead body on his back. He slowly dug three holes and laid each body inside on neatly. After he slowly covered the bodies with dirt, he cried and cried. He was alone, his family was dead and he was the only surviver. He picked himself up after crying for an hour. He slowly walked back into the house and found a note on the wall in blood.
'The Warriors Of Light Will Die Like Your Family Did!' the wall said in flesh blood.
He took a step back before run out the door and flying to a large city with a bright castle. He entered the castle with fear, running for the throne room. He opened the doors and saw a mare alicorn with grey fur, purple eyes and a white flowing mane.
"Y-your majesty, I would like to speak to you in private please?" the stallion asked as he knelt down in front of the alicorn.
"Yes certainly, Captain Moon Star, what would you like to speak to me about?" the alicorn asked with a polite smile.
"Well, I came back from the castle in Hoofberg and I went home, my family was dead on the floor, I looked over to the wall where a note was in blood saying 'The Warriors Of Light will die like your family did!' I don't know what it means," the stallion said with a tear, but quickly wiped it so the alicorn wouldn't see it.
"Moon, that's horrible, I'm truly sorry. Now you might not know this, but the reason the note was for you is because, you're a Warrior Of Light, your sword is a Light Sword, the purest and powerful sword there is. See a prophecy states that six ponies are the Waariors Of Light, a group of ponies who are pure, each having their own special weapon and personality. There was Turbo Fire the Brave, Clover Leaf the Clever, Cherry Cake the Jokester, Red Heart the Kind, Hammer Smash the Strong and Philomena the Fast. These ponies were the heroes that saved Equestria from Heart Break's army. He was fierce and feared, he was the greatest evil yet. No one was able to beat him expect the Warriors Of Light. You, young Moon Star, are one of the warriors. You will find your ability once you find your teammates. This necklace should lead you to them. When it turns red, you past them, when it's green, it's them, understand?" the alicorn asked.
"Yes your majesty," the stallion named Moon Star said as he took the necklace.
"Well, begin your journey, for the Execute Team will soon destroy Equestria," the alicorn said.
"Yes ma'am," Moon said as he ran out of the castle and began his journey.
Moon galloped quickly out of the castle, flying to a small shop. He opened the door and took off his armor, but kept his sword. He then turned and exited the shop. He flew into a forest, where he spotted a circle. He flew down to it and saw that the circle was on the cliff in front of him. There was a picture of six ponies, two pegasi, two earth ponies and two unicorns. 'The Warriors Of Light are Turbo Fire the Brave from Saddle Arabia, Clover Leaf the Clever from Canterlot, Cherry Cake the Jokester from Ponyville, Red Heart the Kind from Cloudsdale, Hammer Smash the Strong from Appleloosa and Philomena the Fast from Crystal Empire. The Warriors Of Light are from these places and their descendants will come from there too. Each warrior has a special power, Turbo Fire was the ability to create, form and use fire, Clover Leaf has the ability to see and predict the future, Cherry Cake has the ability to trick and spook others, Red Heart has the ability to befriend anypony, she can also sense somepony who is kind and help anypony or creature in need, Hammer Smash has the ability to make cracks in the ground and crush trees with one hoof and Philomena has the ability to make tornadoes and run for hours. Their descendants will also has these powers. Find one, find all.' the circle said.
"That's it, I have to go to Ponyville, Appleloosa, Clousdale, Canterlol, the Crystal Empire. But who is the warrior of here? Wait... am I the warrior? I have to find the others so, maybe I am one of the warriors," Moon said out loud.
Moon was flying in the night sky, he wasn't tired nor exhausted. He was fine. He saw a small hill near a small town and decided to land on the hill. He sat there looking at the sky as the sun was rising. He loved watching Celestia's sun rise, but also enjoyed Luna's peaceful night. He was in amazement as he watched the sun slowly lift onto the sky, brightening the town. He stood up and looked at a sign that was near him. In read 'Welcome to Ponyville!' on the wood. He then walked into the brightening town. It was so peaceful, nopony was wake making noise, it was just peaceful. He then walked around, looking at the beauty the sun had brought to Ponyville. He had traveled so far, but he wasn't the least bit tired. As he was walking he was enjoying the moment of peace, when a pony asked him something from behind. Before he turned around, his necklace glowed green.
"Hi, are you new?" a voice asked Moon. Moon turned around and looked down a bit. He saw a young unicorn mare with dark aqua fur, a light teal seaweed-like mane and yellow kind eyes. The unicorn was a head shorter than him as he clearly had to look down at the unicorn.
"Hello, I'm Moon Star. I'm just... I'm just looking for somepony," Moon said as he smiled at the unicorn. The unicorn looked at him than smiled at him.
"Well, hello Moon Star, I'm Ocean Tide. A pleasure to meet you," the unicorn named Ocean Tide said with a soft smile. Moon looked at the sky, then looked at Ocean.
"Why are you up so early? Nopony is even up yet, except us," Moon said as he looked around. He saw nopony except Ocean and himself.
"I could ask you the same. I love watching the sun rise. You might think I'm crazy, but I could sense you, I sensed your kindness, I know you're probably thinking I've lost my mind, but it's true. I sensed you from my house near the forest," Ocean said as she looked up at Moon.
Moon looked at her, 'She's one of the warriors. I know it,' Moon thought to himself. He looked around then faced Ocean once more.
"Ocean, do you have a parent or grandparent named Red Heart?" Moon asked Ocean. Ocean looked at him before she jumped on him. He had to step back to keep his balance. He was about to push her off, when she heard her cry. He looked at Ocean and saw that she was clinging to him and crying into his fur.
"S-s-she died j-just two days a-a-ago! S-she l-l-l-left me!" Ocean wailed. Moon patted her back and looked at her with kind and caring eyes.
"I'm sorry, Ocean. I have to tell you something," Moon started. Ocean looked up at him as she wiped her yellow teary eyes.
"W-what is it?" Ocean asked as she sat down.
"You are the descendant of Red Heart the Kind, you are Ocean Tide the Kind, you are the pony I was looking for. You and I are part of the Warriors Of Light. We are the chosen ones, you and I have to find the other four. Will you accompany me?" Moon asked as he gave Ocean a soft smile.
"Um... sure. It will probably help me not focus on grandma," Ocean said as she stood up.
"You are taking this very good," Moon said as he followed along side Ocean.
"Well, I'm excited on the inside, but I just can't let it out at this time of day. I'll wake everypony up," Ocean said as they followed a path to a small building near a cottage. Ocean opened the door where she grabbed a pillow and screamed into it. After screaming, she grabbed her stuff and saddle bags.
"Ready," Ocean said as she put on her saddle bags and a bag of potions. Moon looked at the potions as Ocean closed the door.
"Why are you bringing theses for?" Moon asked. Ocean looked at him then grabbed the bag.
"Just in case if we need it," Ocean replied.
"Okay, well we better hit the road, we have to catch a train to Appleloosa," Moon said.
"Appleloosa?! Why?" Ocean asked excitedly.
"We have to find the warrior of strength, you seem excited," Moon said as they walked to the train station. Moon bought two tockets and they waited for a train to Appleloosa.
"I know a friend who lives there, his name is Earth Crash, he's the strongest pony in Appleloosa, his grandpa is an old time hero," Ocean said. She began to explain more when their train arrived.
"All abroad!" the train conductor yelled. Moon and Ocean walked into the train, and got a seat near the back.
"Appleloosa here we come," Ocean said. Moon watched as Ocean was smiling and playing and laughing with the other passangers.
Moon and Ocean slowly walked into the train station. They walked in Appleloosa, looking that the large town. "Moon, over there is where Crash lives," Ocean said with a happy tone. She ran down a hill that was near the apple trees. Moon flew next to her as she ran to a small house. Ocean knocked on the door, but nopony opened the door. She knocked again and a large elderly stallion with fading orange, dark blue eyes and a grey mane answered the door.
"Ocean, is that you?" the stallion asked as he leaned against the door frame. Ocean hugged the stallion, with a smile on her face.
"Mr. Smash, it's good to see you, is Crash home, or is he in the fields?" Ocean asked after ending the hug with the elder stallion.
"Earth is in the southern fields, he's been buckin' apples all day," the stallion said as he pointed his hoof to the fields.
"Thanks Mr. Smash," Ocean said as she ran to the southern fields. The stallion turned to face me, after watching Ocean run off, with a serious face.
"Uh... hello sir, I'm Moon-"
"Moon Star of Saddle Arabia, am I correct?"
"Yes, Princess Snow Chill, she told me to find the Warriors Of Light," Moon explained.
"Ya know that ya is a warriors? Earth Crash is ma grandson and he don't know, but he's a warrior too. You gonna take him, ain't ya?" the stallion asked with a bit of sadness in his country voice. Moon looked at him, and the stallion already knew the answer.
"Ya be takin care of em' okay?" the stallion asked.
"Yes sir," Moon replied giving the stallion a smile.
"Call mah Hammer, Hammer Smash the Strong," the stallion named Hammer Smash said.
Ocean came running to us with a brown young stallion with a tan mane and green eyes.
"Howdy, I'm Earth Crash," the stallion named Earth Crash said.
"Crash, this is Moon Star. Moon, Earth Crash. Uh... Moon your necklace is glowing," Ocean said. Moon looked down to see that his necklace was glowing green, just like before.
"Hi there Earth, Moon Star," Moon said as he held his hoof out. Earth smiled at Moon than shook his hoof.
"Earth, pack ya stuff, ya'll be goin' with Moon on a little journey," Hammer said to his grandson. Earth nodded and went inside the house. Earth took about two minutes of packing before we all waved goodbye to Hammer and headed for the train station.
"So, where we headed?" Earth asked. He looked at Ocean, who looked at Moon. Moon got the tickets and they sat on a bench.
"We're going to Canterlot, then to Cloudsdale and the Crystal Empire," Moon said.
"Why do we have to go to so many places?" Ocean asked. Moon looked at the small unicorn then to the train tracks.
"I'll explain after we find the others," Moon said as the train arrived.
"All aboard!" the train conductor yelled. Moon and the others got on the train and sat in a cart.
"Others? Moon, what others?" Earth asked with a confused look on his face.
"You'll see. Just so you know, when my necklace turns green, that means I found the ponies I was looking for," Moon said.
"You were looking for us?" Ocean asked.
"Yes, you and three others all are the ponies I'm looking for, I'll tell you more after we get the others, okay?" Moon asked with a tired expression.
"Sure, are you going to take a nap?" Earth asked.
"Maybe, but don't count on it," Moon said with a smile.
Moon, Earth and Ocean were all talking about Canterlot, when an elderly pegasus mare with purple fur, dark blue eyes and a grey mane appeared at the door of their car. "Hello, can we help you?" Ocean asked when she noticed the mare. Earth and Moon turned at looked at the mare. The mare didn't answer, but kept her gaze on Moon.
"Well, I was wondering if I could see my son?" the mare asked as she stepped forward. The ponies looked at each other before looking back at the mare.
"Um... may I ask, who is your son?" Moon asked as the mare kept walking up to them. The mare had a sad expression, but extended her hoof to touch Moon's face.
"Well, Moon Star, I'm your mother Cloud Storm," the mare named Cloud Storm said. Moon and his friends looked at her.
"No, you can't be my mother, you wouldn't have abandoned me!" Moon yelled angrily as he slapped Cloud's hoof away. Ocean and Earth looked at Moon as if he was crazy, then looked at Cloud with a sad gaze when Moon said that she abandoned him.
"Moon, dear, I have to give you up. It hurt me so much, but that was the only way for you to be safe," Cloud said with tears as she extended her hoof, but Moon slapped it away again.
"You aren't my mother! She would have never abandoned me in the hospital! You don't how me and I don't know me! You got the wrong pony, Cloud!" Moon yelled as he faced her with an angered expression.
"Moon, if your father and I didn't leave you, you wouldn't be here. You would have been captured and killed by the Execute Team. Your father and I scarified you only to protect you," Cloud said as she hugged Moon.
"Did dad die to protect me?" Moon asked with uncertainty. Cloud looked at him, and he knew it was true. This was his mother that was protecting him by leaving him. He looked at Cloud then hugged her as he cried.
"I'm sorry I had to leave you, Moon. I truly am," Cloud said as she stroked Moon's back.
"I-I'm just h-happy you're a-alive, mom," Moon said as he wiped his tears.
"You left Moon?" Earth asked.
Moon and Cloud turned and looked at him.
"You see Moon's father, Golden Flame, was being hunted by the Execute Team. They wanted to kill us before Moon as born. They wanted to stop me from giving birth. If I didn't give birth to you, Moon, my father, Turbo Fire, wouldn't have given you your destiny. You are Turbo Fire's grandson, which means that you are Moon Star the Brave. Your father and I knew that you would fulfill the prophecy. We had to make sure that the Execute Team didn't know you were born. We had to leave to protect you, and we are sorry that it caused you pain," Cloud said as she hugged Moon.
"I know it was for my good," Moon said as he hugged Cloud back.
"So Moon didn't know that you were his mother?" Ocean asked.
"No, we had to escape and lie to them," Cloud said.
"Does that mean we are apart of the prophecy?" Earth asked.
"Yes, you, Earth, are Hammer Smash's descendant, you are Earth Crash the Strong. Ocean is Ocean Tide the Kind and I'm Moon Star the Brave," Moon said with a smile.
The train came to a stop at Canterlot Train Station and everypony except Cloud exited the train.
"Aren't you coming mom?" Moon asked.
"I can't, the Execute Team is looking for me, I can't let them find you all," Cloud said as she hugged her son.
"Okay, mom, be careful, I don't want to lose you too," Moon said with tears as he hugged Cloud back.
"I will, son. You be careful now, okay?" Cloud asked.
"We will, count on it," Moon said with a smile after wiping his tears away.
"All aboard!" the train conductor yelled.
"Bye, Moon, make me proud," Cloud said as she moved back from the door.
"I will, we all will!" Moon yelled with happiness.
The train began to move and Cloud sat by the window and waved to them. The others waved to her as she began to disappear. Moon turned to the others with a smile and said, "Let's find our next warrior!"
"Yeah!" Earth said as they walked onto Canterlot's streets.
Moon, Earth and Ocean walked through the streets of Canterlot, they looked and waited for Moon's necklace to glow. They walked to the castle, where two guards were blocking ponies from entering. "Hello Mist Gleam, Night Shine, we're here to talk to Princess Luna and Princess Celestia about important issues," Moon said to the guards.
"Uh... M-Moon Star, well of course," the unicorn guard with a grey-blue mane, gold armor, red eyes and white fur named Mist Gleam said as he opened the gates and lead Moon and the throne room.
"Your majesties, Moon Star of Saddle Arabia is here to discuss important matters," Mist said as he, Ocean, Earth and Moon bowed to the two alicorns.
"Thank you, Mist," the alicorn with white fur, a flowing pink, teal, green and blue mane and pink eyes said.
"Moon, how are thy?" the alicorn with dark blue fur, teal eyes and a blue sparkling mane asked as she ran up and hugged Moon.
"I'm fine Luna, I came all the way from Saddle Arabia because the prophecy is in the process of success," Moon said as he hugged the blue alicorn named Luna, back.
"The prophecy? How many warriors have you found?" the alicorn with the flowing mane asked.
"Three, these two, Ocean Tide and Earth Crash and myself. One warriors is here in Canterlot," Moon said.
"Which ones?" Luna asked as she sat back on her throne.
"Ocean Tide the Kind, Earth Crash the Strong, and myself, Moon Star the Brave," Moon answered.
"So you need to find Philomena, Clover Leaf and Cherry Cake. Maybe Peach Dream might be a warrior," the flowing mane alicorn said.
"Peach who?" Earth asked.
"Peach Dream's here?" Moon asked with happiness in his voice.
"Yes, she's here in Canterlot, she is the chef and party preparations pony," Luna said.
"Celestia, is she here right now?" Moon asked.
"Yes, she is in the kitchen," the flowing mane alicorn named Celestia said.
"C-can I go see her?" Moon asked.
"Yes, why don't you three stay until morning?" Luna asked.
"Um... sure, we don't have anywhere else to go for the night," Moon said.
"Great, Key Charm, can you escort Moon and his friends to the guest suits?" Celestia asked.
"Why of course, Princess," a stallion with a black mane, a black mustache, orange eyes and blue fur said as he lead the group to their suits.
"Lulu, do you think Terbic will return as well?" Celestia asked when the doors closed.
"Maybe, but don't worry Tia, I'm certain that Moon and the other warriors will defeat him if he does return," Luna said.
"I hope so," Celestia said.
Elsewhere in the castle...
"Here is your room Moon," the stallion named Key Charm said as he opened the door for Moon.
"Thank you, Mr. Charm," Moon said with a smile.
"Now sir Earth and madam Ocean, your rooms are up ahead," Moon heard Key said as they walked to their rooms.
Moon quietly exited his room and made his way to the kitchen without making a noise. He walked inside the large kitchen and saw one pony. The pony was a young unicorn mare with a pink mane, peach fur and purple eyes, wearing a chef's hat.
"Peach, is that you?" Moon asked in the doorway of the kitchen. The pony turned to Moon and when she saw him, she ran towards him.
"M-Moon, it's been so long! How are you?" the pony asked as she hugged Moon.
"I've been fine, it's do good to see you again," Moon said as he returned the hug.
"What are you doing here, and why is your necklace glowing?" the pony asked after the hug. Moon looked down at his necklace and saw that it was indeed glowing.
"Well, I'm looking for you, you see you're one of the Warriors Of Light, and so am I," Moon said.
"A Warrior Of Light? Isn't that a prophecy or something?" the pony asked.
"Yeah, you're grandma, Cherry Cake, was one of them and you are one now. You're not just Peach Dream the chef, you're Peach Dream the Jokester," Moon said.
"No way, grandma always told me I was destined for greatness, but I didn't know it was this great," the pony names Peach Dream said.
"Well, I'm going to watch for the sun, so tonight, you have to be ready, because we're going to go to Cloudsdale," Moon said as he began to walk away.
"Moon, I'm so happy you're back," Peach said.
"Me too, Peachy," Moon said.
"Oh, Moonsy, you know that I'm not called Peachy anymore," Peach said.
"Yes, I know, but I'm no called Moonsy anymore either," Moon said.
"I know, but I love calling you that," Peach said.
"I know, good night Peachy," Moon said as he began to go up the stairs to his room.
"Good night Moonsy," Peaxh said as she watched him go upstairs.
