Princess Celestia ask for the Help of "The elements of Harmony" to keep safe all Equestria, but an unfortunate event makes them to get stuck in this other world. while some of the other world were brought to Equestria with some fearsome creatures.

- Sheesh, Derpy! , I SPECIFICALLY told you that I SPECIFICALLY don’t want to be disturbed SPECIFICALLY at this time! -, The Doctor answers in an abrasive voice, but strangely still sounds polite. - The data I’m about to analyze is crucial and cannot be interrupted! -
- B-but it’s important Doctor - The voice of Derpy, a Blonde-manned gray Pegasus with bubbles as her cutie mark insist a bit nervous. - It´s ROYALTY important. -
- “Royalty”, what she´s ta… oh! Yeah of course! – The Doctor mumbled to his self, realizing who the guest was. - Let her in, quick Derpy, we must not let our guest be unattended. -
- Right away Doctor! - answers Derpy, opening then the doors to their guest, a tall dark-blue pony with wings and a prominent horn on her forehead, with a blue semitransparent mane which looks like the night. She enters with a straight face but with a spark of curiosity in her eyes.
- Good night Doctor- This Pony was nothing less than the Princess of the Night, Princess Luna, who is still trying to adapt to the new times after being trapped in the moon for the last thousand years. - We hope we’re not interrupting your studies with our royal presence.-
- Of course not your highness, there’s always time for the royalty - The Doctor answers very polity while he bows softly to her. - After all, I’m the one who called you this morning - after that, he turns to his desk again where there were a lot of books of astronomy and notebooks with numbers and diagrams. - What? - Luna was surprised and confused about the question. - Hum well, we don’t know exactly how, the only thing we know is that inside the dark confinement on the moon we saw 4 stars, which combined and make a gate to where was our sister. We just take the chance to get out. -
- Just how I suspected - The Doctor says taking some notes and reading again others.
- What’s the matter Doctor? It´s that very important to your investigation? - The princess asks him now more confused about.
- Yes indeed - Answers the Doctor - That confirm what my research and data tells me about this “space/time” anomaly I detected recently - The Doctor approaches to a large closet with a straight and immerse in his thoughts. - If my theory is correct, and you already confirmed it, those “stars” how you named it where actually “dimensional sparks”, an energy who is only created when 2 dimensions collide - Then he push a button, a monitor turns on showing an animation of many spheres moving up and down apparently in a total chaos.
Luna looks at the monitor totally amazed - What are… -
- This is the map of this Multiverse - The Doctor interrupts the princess, pointing a very small sphere down in the monitor. - And we are here, as your highness can see this universe is relatively small but following my research there are even smaller ones. Actually this universe has an average size. -
Luna approaches the monitor, her mind has lots of questions but can´t choose which to ask first. All were too important to her. Then she saw one of the universes go through another one, generating a bright light and “sparks” around. - What was that? - The princess stares at the Doctor worried about.
- It’s the reason that makes me call you here your highness - The Doctor says with a concern tone. - What you saw right now was 2 universes “colliding”. -
- Colliding? But it just passes through it. They did not collide - Luna says, still confused about what she just saw on the monitor.
- That’s the point, remember that a universe is almost infinite for us, we are nothing compared to a universe dimensions - The Doctor walks around while explaining. - Those sparks and light are countless of galaxies and planets colliding each other trying to be in the same space at the same time, what you know it´s impossible. When 2 universes collide there are rifts or holes in the time and space fabric leading to the other dimension, a rift like the one your highness use to escape the moon. -
- B-but that’s was magic, was it right? - Luna interrupt the Doctor worried about this new information. - There were predictions, signals, and prophecies. How my sis and all those ponies who write about my return know nothing about this? -
- They know I could presume - answers the Doctor - The dimensions apparently go in a random and chaotic way but each one has an specific orbit. Some ones orbit around a bigger one, others approach to the center of the multiverse and then goes very far, almost out of it, there is an order an harmony in this apparent chaos. But it is not perfect; let me show you something your highness. -
The Doctor walks then to his desk followed by Luna; there were some draws and notes too complicated to the royal pony. - According to my data, and the signals you have confirmed to me, our dimensions is on a collision course with another one, fortunately will be a quick experience but might be a disaster to all Equestria - the princess gasp hearing that, but the Doctor continues. - These type of cosmic events are extremely rare but there are proofs that happen from time to time, at least mathematical proofs, unfortunately there are not living creatures that live enough to see twice that event.
- So what will happen to Equestria? When this Calamity will happen?!We command you to tell us! - The princess finally spoke, with terror in her face and starting to panic.
The Doctor hold her by the shoulders - Calm down your highness, if my calculations were correct this catastrophe will not take place in at least 1 or 2 billion of years. Unless I miscalculated some data and happens in 2 or 3 months but I usually don’t miscalculate nothing. And there’s were enters you Princess Luna. -
A now calm Luna takes some breath and then ask, - Explain yourself Doctor, What we are supposed to do with all of this “cosmic catastrophe” if you saw that there is as many time as the life of the sun itself? -
- Is rather simple, but may need the help also of Princess Celestia. If an alien living form comes through those “gates” it will cause panic across Equestria even if it comes in peace. I already inform her about this situation but she asked me to inform you face to face while she searches for a spell which might protect every pony in Equestria. - Luna starts to think about a spell, might she know something that might help to protect every pony. Something that even Celestia might not know about.
The door of the laboratory opens with a slam, startling both Luna and the Doctor – coming through! – Derpy enters pushing a car with many flavored muffins, tea cups and a pot filled with Tea.
- Derpy, how many times I told you. Knock the door before enter! - The doctor says a bit angry with her mid-time assistant.
- Sorry Doctor But… -
- No buts allowed, leave us alone and close de door when you go out please - Derpy with her head down goes out. Slamming again the door. – Sometimes I wonder why I keep her as my assistant -
After that, Luna remembered a spell that might works, a spell she used to change her appearance into a more diabolical one when she tries to do an eternal night. –Shaped shift spell! - Suddenly she speaks with the louder imperial awe.
-Pardon me? - The Dr. says confused by the sudden words of the princess
-Oh, excuse our manners- she blushed a bit noticing that she again used the imperial awe she used to speak. – The shape shift spell, the one we use to change into the “Night Mare Moon”, with proper application of it, we…-
-We can change those alien forms into something familiar to Equestria! - Both ended saying the same phrase, both of the ponies blushed after that. – Ehem, yeah, that might works your highness, but will need a lot of power to cover al Equestria with that spell, and even more to keep it through the years to come- The dr. finished his phrase before Luna.
Luna stands up quickly and starts to walk to the door. –You already say it Dr. , Celestia already knows the situation, and she has more power, she just need to share it with me and we probably can overcome to do a proper spell, and doing it every year will be enough to keep it alive while Equestria exist don’t you think.-
-Well yea, that’s a solution but there´s much time to think about it, maybe…- The Dr. tries to convince her to think in other solutions but Luna has already decided herself. –Princess Luna, wait!-
Both ponies leave the laboratory and goes to the Palace, Derpy was in the Kitchen making more muffins to herself when they go out. She then enters the laboratory and saws all the paperwork and monitors showing the universes. Then she noticed a flashing button near the large closet with the Multiverse map and pressed it. The map changes into Real Time Mode, showing now the Equestria Universe about to collide with another Universe bigger that it. Derpy frightened about doing something wrong pressed again the button, putting again the monitor showing the simulation, and then she runs away, closing the doors now gentile and going to the kitchen to finish her muffins.
A few days pass when one night, at the new celebration of the longest night of the year; both Princesses disguised the new “shape shift spell” into the “rising moon spell” of Luna, making a spectacular show of lights. No pony would know that the peaceful days were about to end in a dramatic and dangerous event.

Chapter 1: Colliding Universes
It’s a beautiful day in Ponyville, a clear blue sky, the bird singing and every pony around doing their chores. Especially at the Library, a little purple baby dragon was too busy cleaning it from all the books her purple partner read every day.
“It’s really necessary to spend all the day reading those books Twilight? “ Spikes complain while moving some books to their respective shelves. “You know, it’s a beautiful day out there”
“There’s no time for that now Spike, the princess want me to analyze all these books as soon as possible. “ Levitating a Quill and a sheet of paper she makes some notes while talking to the dragon. “According to her letter there’s something really bad that could happen in any moment, and want me to know all the information that the Doctor knows about it in case the “Elements of Harmony” are needed, so we don’t face an unknown danger”
“I know, but… “A small earthquake interrupts Spikes complain. “Whoa… what was that? “
“I-I don’t know but I hope is nothing Spike” She quickly left the quill and notes aside, going outside to see if every pony was alright. “I must see the others, Spike, clean this mess and be ready to send a letter to the princess when I get back.”
“Yeah right” Spike answers in a detached way while the purple pony ran out the library. In the streets every pony was talking about the earthquake, but no pony was scared or worried about. Twilight went through the streets quickly looking for her friends, and she knows who would help her to gather her friends quickly enough for this emergency.
At the Sugar Cube Corner, a hyperactive Pink Pony is planning the next party for the birthday of some other pony in Ponyville. “Woooh!! You know Gummy, this party will the best party EVA!! , we gonna have sweets and candies and streamer and balloons and, and…”
“Pinkie! Are you there?!” The voice of Twilight calls her from outside, she quickly look out the window.
“Hi Twilight! How you doin´?!” the Pink Pony answers, “Are you here for the party; it’s too early yet but if you…”
“No I’m not here for that, I need to talk to you, can you come down please? “ Twilight insist from outside.
“Oh, Ok! just give me a second “ Once together, Twilight outlines Pinkie on what Celestia asked her and why she was so troubled about the earthquake.
“There was an earthquake? ´cause I didn’t felt anything” Pinkie asks.
“I´ll explain you everything when we are all together” Twilight was very tense and worry, Pinkie didn’t know if it really was that important but she knows that Twilight wants her help.
“Ok, I think I can find Rainbow Dash first, and then go for Fluttershy” Pinkie agreed to help her friend but was still confused and started to worry about Twilight being too exaggerated about.
“Thanks Pinkie, I´ll go find Applejack then” Galloping to where Applejack where Twilight just screamed to her friend “meet me at the library as soon as you can”.
Pinkie then went to Rainbow´s place, she was good at looking her and then both went for Fluttershy. No much time later the six friends where together at the library.
“Well Sugarcube, can ya tell us what is this all about now? “ Applejack asks very concern about Twilight, knowing her for being too exaggerated.
“Well it´s hard to explain but, here I go “Twilight take a long breath before start to explain about the multiverse, what it was and how the universes inside moves, and finally what was that thing that Celestia and she was worried about.
“But that not supposed to happen in a, I dunno, millions of years? “ Rainbow Dash ask, without giving the importance to the matter “Seriously you must get out of this library more often; these books are already getting into you Twi. “
“I agree with Rainbow Dash this time” Rarity approaches to Twilight, walking around her while speaking “I mean, this “doctor” must be insane or might be a genius, but what’s the true chance that this “event” happens right now? Even he is unsure about that…” an earthquake interrupts her, a bigger one than the one in the morning.
“Wow, that was strange, the earth moves like if it fears something” Pinkie says while placing an ear on the floor, like trying to hear something.
“I... I think…” Fluttershy speaks nervous about the earthquake “I think we must… take the advice seriously… if that’s ok with all… I mean… all the animals were acting strange the last days… I don´t know but… I feel something really bad is… is about to happen”
A burp of Spike interrupted all “Hey girls, a letter from Princess Celestia” the little dragon calls every pony, all of them gathered around the dragon when he starts to read it.
“Ehem, It says. My faithful student Twilight Sparkle. I know you were studying the books and notes of the Doctor and know almost everything I know about them. Please inform your friends come to Canterlot palace as soon as you can. This is an emergency and we may need the power of “The elements of Harmony” right now. Signs Princess Celestia.”
“It can be, it´s happening now!? “ Twilight mumbled to herself while the others looks each other “Ok, you already know about, gather your stuff and meet me here as soon as you can”
Every pony went to gather some important stuff, after the Discord predicament Twilight was the one who take care of the elements, packing them with some notes of the Doctor´s investigation she waits for her friends. Spike gather also some gems, paper sheets and quills, both where ready in minutes and just wait for the others.
“Twilight, what you think is really happening now? What is this “universe collision” gonna do to our lives?” Spikes ask with fear in its voice, hopping inside that the answer were “nothing”.
“I don´t know Spike, and I wish we never have to know in real life” Twilight answers while looking at the blue sky, which looks peaceful and calm.
Meanwhile, in a deep forest on another world, a brave human hunter in a fish like armor with 2 blades was fleeing from a dark creature with glowing eyes. Others were waiting ahead, waiting to ambush the beast. The beast jumped to hit the warrior who barely avoids the attack, the beast land over a pitfall trap, leaving it defenseless against the others who almost instantly start to attack it, killing the beast in no time.
“That was really dangerous” panting the warrior in the fish like armor talks “The next time please put the dam trap, near to the dam beast!! NOT A MILE AWAY!! I almost die out there!!”
“Don’t cry as a lil´ baby sparrow, it wasn’t that bad. “ Answered a woman in a dark armor which looks like the beast they recently killed. “It wasn´t a large one anyway” She speaks in a cold and cutting way to him.
“AH! YOU LITTLE…” Sparrow was angry about what she says but other hunter heavily armored in a rocky armor grabs him.
“Calm down now, we must celebrate that with the experience of Kayrin and your evading skills we killed the beast that was bringin´ chaos to our community; we must prepare its body to transport and have our winnings” He says in a manly voice
“argh!! Arh aahh!!...” Struggling to get free from his partner Sparrow finally calms down “I guess you´re right Shadow” while Kayrin just watch.
Over the beast corpse was another female hunter wearing a light white armor with a horn over her head, who was craving from the beast some scales and skin for herself and starting to prepare the beast for transport. “Hey guys, will you stand there talking all the day or will you help me to put this thing on wells?!”
“Were going now Star!” Shadow answers cheerfully bringin with him Sparrow over his shoulder. Kayrin followed them behind.
“Hey what are you doing?! Put me down!” Sparrow complains all the way to the beast corpse.
Later, when all were resting in a provisional camp near a cliff in the forest, 2 small cat-like creatures approaches to Kayrin, who was a part of the others watching the surroundings.
“Mistress!!!” One of the kittens call Kayrin. “Mistress we have to hide NYA!” hiding immediately behind Kayrin the little kitty shivers of fear.
“Can you calm down newbie” Another cat, which was a male and somewhat old cat, stands in front of her, very upset about the behavior of her partner “ You can´t go runin´ away like tha´ in the middle of nowhere, I told ya there’s nothing to fear nya! “
Kayrin looks at the cats confused about them arguing like that. “Hey Daigo, Jasmine, what´s the matter?” “There´s something bad about to happen! Don´t you feel it mistress nya?!” Jasmine still behind her mistress points to the sky.
“I thing you got too much “felvine” this time, I can´t see anythin´ bad, even I would say it’s a perfect and quiet day nya, don’t you thing Kay?” Daigo take a deep breath emphasizing what he was saying.
Kayrin looks where the kitties points in the sky, and just saw a clear sky too and hear nothing else. Then she noticed what Jasmine was talking about. “Jasmine is wright Daigo; something is happening in the forest” Turning around she calls her comrades. “Hey hunters! pack your things, we have to move now!”
The others stand up after hearing that, Sparrow approaches still very angry at her. “And why in the world we have to do what you’re saying Ms. Ice queen? It’s too calm here to a “fierce hunter who doesn’t fear anything” huh?” He glares directly at her eyes, trying to intimidate her, but she remains calm and cold as ever.
The other hunters shake their heads after seeing that, waiting for Kayrin knock him out. But that doesn’t happen this time. “Actually, it is lil´sparrow” After saying that she start to gather her belongings “and you don’t have to do what I say if you don’t want to, after all if you die here it´s not my problem”
Shadow approaches to Kayrin too, confused on what she just said. “What do you mean by that? I know you usually don’t like quite places but it´s not like you flee from them”
Jasmine, a bit calm now, approaches from behind and calls Shadow´s attention “I think I can explain why Mr. Shadow, can you hear what I hear nya?”
Shadows then put his total attention to his surroundings, trying to hear a strange sound, but he didn’t notice anything strange. “Sorry little one but I can´t hear anything” Sparrow and Star tried too but didn’t notice anything strange.
“Exactly that’s what is strange, when a Forest is totally silent and calm nya?” That question makes all the hunters feel the strange atmosphere that were around. Not a single sound where around, not even the wind in the trees.
“Oh my… this can´t be a good sign” Star expresses herself while gathering her stuff, and after that preparing her bow for the worst while the cats help everyone to gather their stuff, being ready in no time to continue their way to the town bringing with them the cart with the packed monster corpse. They continue walking until the afternoon trying to notice something strange. That night they placed a camp near a small cave, and choose turns to watch their surroundings.
That night in Equestria, the six friends were arriving to Canterlot palace, running towards Celestia was. There have been many earthquakes all over Equestria by now and fear was spreading on every pony around. Celestia and Luna where waiting them in the balcony, watching at the sky looking for something.
“Princess Celestia, were coming as fast as we could” Panting, the six were already holding the elements, ready for whatever was causing those earthquakes. “ What’s happening to Equestria? Why so many earthquakes? “
“Calm down now my faithful student, all your questions were about to be answered when the others arrive” Celestia points the door just when it was opening. There was the Doctor, companied with the statue of Discord on a cart.
“Discord!?” The six exclaims at the same time while the statue passes in front of them to the balcony pulled by the Doctor, placing it between all of them.
Twilight approaches to Celestia intrigued and scared after seeing the statue of Discord. “What he´s doing here too? What´s going on?”
Luna interrupts her while floating the statue down of the cart. “We need too much energy to behold what is coming, and HE is the most powerful being in all Equestria, it’s dangerous but if we don’t have enough power we might perish here” Luna says with her “imperial voice” sending back Twilight with her friends.
“Let me explain your highness” the Doctor approaches to the center where the statue was. “what we are about to happen it an “universal collision”, and you might know by now, after reading my notes and calculations, it will be an event which will liberates a tremendous amount of energy to the time-space fabric, creating many anomalies between both universes and making them to be at the same place at the same time” The doctor then point to the sky with his both fore hooves, trying to make a mental image for the other ponies. “This will cause many “fractures” in the time-space fabric connecting both worlds for an unidentified amount of time, can be a split-second, or can last for many years”
“Yeah, and what that has to do with us? or this guy in the rock?” Rainbow Dash asks, starting to get bored about too much “Egghead” information.
“If we let this happen by itself, it will open fractures everywhere, and many ponies will get stuck in the other world, or even worst, creatures from this other world would come to this one and start to cause mischief in Equestria” The doctor approaches the to the statue again and continue his speech. “with all the energy of both princess and the elements of Harmony would be enough to concentrate all the liberated energy of the collision into a single fracture, where we can control the side effects of it, but just alone those powers might end killing you all. So we need another source of energy, even if it is a chaotic one”
“B-But Discord?” Pinkie Pie asks a bit worried, remembering what he does to her friends the last time “What if he don’t want to help us? what if he decides to take over Equestria in the chaotic chaos he likes? Turning all upside down again. Making the sky go wild, making night and day every 5 seconds, turning the dirt roads into soap and ….mhmmhmhm…” Applejack shut down Pinkie by placing one hoof over her mouth.
“Ah´ think Pinkie Pie has a point here, what if that freak does not wanna help us?” She asks instead of Pinkie.
Celestia hear carefully their complains about this plan, even she was unsure about this but she knows that was the only chance to save Equestria for being destroyed. “That’s why you´re here too, we don’t liberate Discord in one time, just his head so we can try to convince him to help us, if he still don’t want to help, he will be turned to stone again, and even if he is completely liberated and try to betray us, you can handle him with the elements. I know it’s a risky plan and even might be madness, but it’s our only chance to save Equestria, even him don’t want Equestria destroyed.”
Every pony sees each other, and then accepted the plan of the Princess. Celestia and Luna begin to break the spell on Discord´s head, cracking it up until it was free. Twilight and the others were ready if he tries to do something to the Princess. Discord slowly regain consciousness, until finally was awake.
Discord was silent, just looking to all the ponies around with an evil glare. He tried to move but the rest of his body with most of his power was still sealed inside the rock.
“Discord! you who try to put Equestria into eternal chaos! We summon you to …” Luna speaks with the royal awe when Discords interrupt her.
“Oh common, when you´re think we are, in the last millennium? oh wait, maybe you do “ he laughs at Luna making her upset. “Actually we need your help now “ Celestia went directly to the point, knowing that argue with Discord might give him more power to break himself the rest of the Stone spell of his body.
“My help?” Discord asks to Celestia, glaring at her directly to her eyes. “And why do you think I will help YOU who imprison me in stone thousand years ago, just because you wanted your, precious and boring harmony?”
“Because if you don´t help, there will be no place where either you can exist” Celestia exclaims using herself the imperial voice, being her even stronger than her little sister. Discord was confused, and took his time to look around, seeing every pony around him ready to imprison him again for the eternity.
“Well then, I´m all ears” He appears a pair of sunglasses, waiting for Celestia explanation without any apparent interest. “What is that dangerous or important thing that even you need MY help?”
Celestia was the only one who spoke to Discord, being one of the few ones who can talk and hear through his riddles and twisted words, explaining the entire situation to him and why they need his power. Discord was incredulous about it, how even Celestia would believe in such nonsense? He was thinking, but then a big Earthquake happens, but this time was companied with thunder and lightning from nowhere, those where the last signs of the collision. Twilight and her friends start to panic, the Doctor was fascinated and frightened at the same time, only Luna and Celestia stand firm in front of Discord, who now realizes that all that “nonsense” was true.
“Ok then, I´ll help you” answers Discord “But do not misunderstand this, this situation is dangerous even to me, so I only saving my own life”
In the other world, powerful wind gusts and the same lightning starts to happen around the hunters. Star was watching while the others rest inside, all with their armors and weapons ready when she sounds the alarm. All the hunters came out of the cave looking for anything that would be the origin of this anomaly.
“Hey look! Up into the sky!” Sparrow screams after seeing 3 large flying creatures over them, flying to the top of a mountain in the middle of the forest. “are those what I think they are!”
“Wow! I never seen those before” Star was amazed by looking at the creatures.
“That’s… that´s a White Fatalis… an Amatsu, and a ya… ya…” Shadow tries to remember their names. While all the hunters’ looks at them.
“It’s called Yamatsu Kami Mr. Shadow” Jasmine answers, holding from Kayrin´s leg to not fly away because the gusts.
“Those are Elder Dragons, what are they doing here nya?” Daigo ask, holding himself to Kayrin´s other leg The wind grew louder and louder, intensifying the gusts and lightning, the hunters were slowly being carried away with it to where the dragons were going.
Kayrin by mere instinct thrust her long sword in the rocky ground and grab Jasmine with an arm. “Hold on every one!” Kayrin just says before the wind grew to a point that she was starting to fly. Shadow holds to a rock near the cave, Sparrow flew away a few meters and using his sabers manages to hook them to a tree. Start was holding a tree near to Sparrow but it yielded and flies away with her.
“Ghaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!” Star screams while the gust carries her where a strange vortex of lightning and darkness starts to form up into the sky and starts to consume all its surroundings.
“Star!” Sparrow let go from the tree and follow Star, catching her up near the vortex and holding her, both where consumed by the darkness.
“This can´t be!” Shadow and Kayrin saw powerless his friends while they fly away. “Hey Kayrin!!! call me a fool… but they gonna need my help… wherever they… land”
Kayrin glance him, not wanting to hear the next of that. “What… are… you… talking…” Kayrin barely holds herself with her sword deeply grounded, holding Jasmine and Daigo.
“Take care of yourself!” Shadow say before letting the gusts carry him to the vortex. “Here I go fellas!!” he screams facing the vortex directly and with his gun lance ready for anything it would be waiting in there. Kayrin glance in terror and frustration, while her comrades where sucked into the oblivion.
In Canterlot. Celestia, Luna, Discord who was now released completely from the stone, and the others were facing similar conditions, but their magical power where making the vortex to be more stable, the Doctor was monitoring the event from the safety inside a blue police box inside the palace, parts of it where crumbling and being sucked inside the vortex. Twilight and the others were at their limits now, Celestia and Luna was focus her total power to the vortex, Discord was doing the same thing too, but watching the others, waiting for something else.
The vortex was almost stable when Discord was able to see the other side of it. He saws what looked for him like 3 dragons. “Its now” he thinks glancing discreetly to the elements of harmony and with a subtle move of his tail makes Twilight and Rainbow Dash to be dragged inside the vortex. Without thinking Apple Jack jump to try to catch her friend, followed by Fluttershy and Pinkie. Rarity was the only one who stood firm still using her element to try to close the vortex, knowing that that’s the only thing that probably would help them.
After that the vortex in both worlds become unstable and explode. In Equestria several black lightning balls falls, 2 near Ponyville, one deep inside the Everfree forest and the rest on random places. In the other world, 5 black lightning balls falls, 2 not to far where Kayrin was lying in the ground looking at the vortex just when the gusts fade away. Another one fell in a Felyne village and the last 2 in different parts of the forest.
The vortex was now closed, Discord just disappeared from the place, Celestia and Luna where looking for him while Rarity just sit where she was, just looking at the spot in the sky where her friends disappeared.
“He ran away, that monster!” Luna was angry after not finding Discord “We must never let him free from that statue!”
“What is done is done, anyway he must be as tired as we are right now, and he probably won’t be a menace for a while” Celestia responds to her sister complains, both of them very tired and unable to cast magic” What is most important now is how we will bring back Twilight and the others”
“This can´t be real… I... this… this must be… a nightmare… a terrible nightmare…” Rarity was mumbling to herself, not able to believe that her friends are gone now. “A frightful… and terrible… nightmare”.

Chapter 2: The Dangerous Hunters World
In the Canterlot palace all where chaos, ponies everywhere fixing what the vortex destroyed several hours back. Rarity was in one of many guest rooms, after faint in the balcony. Celestia was coordinating every pony around while Luna and the Doctor was discussing about how to re-open the vortex and bring back Twilight and the others.
“But how we are supposed to open that thing again! We almost die there too, we lost our magic for several hours, just recently I feel strong enough to cast a spell” Luna speaks walking in the balcony, while the Doctor analyzes the zone with strange artifacts who only him knows to use. “And that happen even with the power of Discord! If we tried that alone we would be death by now!”
“Your highness please remain calm! I think I can come with a solution for this” His instruments shows many energy remains in the place where the vortex opens. The Doctor using a portable monitor starts to explain. “Apparently the Vortex is still open, but is week and can´t transport nothing but the air or smoke apparently. And with the information I gathered about it in its, what I would say, “maximum power”, I can figure out a way to open it with less power than you use the first time. I just need to do some calculations and make some experiments in the laboratory “
“And how much time you think you will need to finish Doctor?” Luna asks concern on what terrible things Twilight and the others would be suffering right now.
“I don´t know, at least we have some time to solve this situation” The Doctor says looking at his instruments. “If my analysis is right, we still have almost a year to solve this, after that, they will be trapped there forever”
Meanwhile in the other world, where the vortex appeared was nothing, not even the elder dragons where on sight. Kayrin was still in the place with her companions Jasmine and Daigo.
“Mistress, please this wasn’t your fault, we must move on now nya” Jasmine was trying to sheer Kayrin, who was depressed after losing her comrades “Please mistress “
“It doesn´t matter now, it happened again, I wasn´t able to protect them” she was immerse in her thoughts. “and now they´re death now” Hitting the ground angry “Gah! If only… If only I…”
“They are not death Kay” Kayrin looks at Daigo, who was looking where the nearest lightning balls fall. “Whatever was that thing I don’t believe it kills them nya, the better way to be sure is to look where those balls fell and make sure what those things were nya. If those things are what I think it they are we might get some answers” Looking back at Kayrin with a straight look he continues “at least this time you will be able to do something about it”
Kayrin sat there a bit longer, and then cleaned her face from some tears and gathering just the necessary things she prepared to go where the balls fell. Jasmine don´t know what they’re talking about but was afraid to ask, she just look with a smile when Kayrin was ready to depart again, being as strong as Jasmine knows her. “I´ll brings you back my friends, I promise” she mumbled to herself.
It was another morning, Twilight was dreaming the incident, how she was betrayed by Discord and being sucked in the vortex.
“Twilight, Twilight!” A familiar voice wakes her up “Twilight! o thanks Celestia, are you alright?”
“Ouch my head” she slowly recovers while looking for Spike, only able to see a Cat-like creature in front of her “Spike, where are you?”
“I´m here, can´t you see me?!” The cat speaks “are you alright?”
“GAAHH!! WHAT ARE YOU! WHAT DID YOU DO WITH SPIKE?!” Twilight jumps back after seeing the cat talks.
“It’s me Spike!” The cat explains “I know that I don’t look like a dragon anymore but it’s me, really!” He gets closer to Twilight, who was confused and scared “and you also don’t look like yourself anymore”
Twilight confused look at her hooves, but instead of it they were hands “W-What´s this!! What happen!!!” Twilight looks at herself, having now a humanoid body, the only remains of her pony body was her hooves on her feet, her tail and ears, her skin color changed and was wearing strange clothes only covering her breast and hips. Then she looks for her horn, it was there but it was smaller than usual. “Where, why, how!?”
“Twi, Twilight... can you just… erh Twi…” Spikes try to continue explaining to the altered and almost panicking Twilight, but she wasn’t hearing anymore. “TWILIGHT!” He screams and her Panicking friend finally stops.
“Just calm down now, panicking now will not help us to know what happened!” Spikes yell at Twilight, who takes a deep breath and try to calm down.
“You’re right Spike, I-I don´t know what I would do without you” Twilight now watch her surroundings, “where are we?”
“I don’t know, but it looks like some pony’s camp site” Spike answer “A very rustic one if you ask me”
“It certainly is, and what kind of material is this? it feels like… fur…” Twilight inspect the bed where she is sitting on when she spotted another creature like her sleeping near her, scared she jumps back when she noticed the multicolor hair she has. “This can´t be… Rainbow Dash?”… carefully she approaches to the sleeping one and start to exanimate, her wings were still on her back but they were now smaller than usual. She still has her tail and hooves on her feet just like Twilight, everything else were changed. “Oh in the name of Celestia! Spike what happened?”
“I don’t know” Spike answered “when I wake up we were already here, the campfire was like that already and we were in this shape, believe me I was as scared as you when I noticed it, but I think better question is who get us here?”
Twilight tries to get up but was strange, she wanted to walk like a pony but her body makes her walk with her feet only. “Whoa… how I will be able to… aahh!!!” Falling in the bed again “how I’ll be able to find out what happened if I can´t even walk!”
“Try like me just use your hooves, your only 2 hooves anyway, it’s not that difficult I walk like that every day” Spikes suggested.
“Oh, Ok I’ll give a try then” Twilight try to mimic the way how Spikes usually walks, feeling her body react naturally to that move, but still with strange movements.
Outside the Tent, another Cat was returning after gathering some medical herbs from the forest when noticed that her guest was awake. “Oh? Hey you´re finally awake! Nya!” The cat runs to the tent, scaring both of her guests. “I thought that you´ll never awake nya”
“AH! Another talking cat!” Twilight scared fell again over the bed, Spike placed between her and the other Cat like trying to protect her.
“Oh I sorry, I didn’t want to scare you nya” The cat bows at Twilight and Spike while introducing herself “My name is Jasmine, I with my friends are the ones who brought you here and take care of your while you were unconscious these days.
“Nice to meet you… wait a minute, THESE DAYS!? How much time we were unconscious?” Twilight ask surprised that there has passed more time that she thought in that world without noticing it.
“Today is the third day, your friend beside you was barely awake when we found you nya, maybe she needs more time to awake nya” Jasmine walks away where the campfire was, pulling out some tools she start to prepare a medicine with the herbs and other ingredients. “Please feel free to ask me anything while my partners came back, they must arrive in any moment now nya”
Twilight tries to walk again, now more confident that they weren’t in any danger. “There are more cats around?”
“Only one, the other is a human like you nya” Jasmine finished what looks like a green potion and give it to Twilight. “Please drink this, it will give you straight and health again”
Twilight took the potion and just tasted it; it was a strange flavor like wild herbs and honey. “It tastes, interesting… and I´m not what you call human” then she drank the potion “Ehem, anyway where are we? How we get here?”
“Well, we are in the middle of what we call “The Great Forest”, near a village called Poke nya” Jasmine answered while preparing more potion.
“Poke… village? hmm I assume we weren´t in Equestria anymore, that’s what the Doctor was talking about, another world” Twilight starts to pondering, drinking the potion sip by sip.
“Another world nya?” Jasmine ask Twilight, her ears were more sensitive to sounds so she heard what Twilight was mumbling
“Eh? “ Twilight was caught by surprise by Jasmine´s question “Oh no, nothing… nothing that really matters, at least not until I found my other friends” Twilight evaded the question.
“ Why you always say “nya” when you talk? “ Spikes ask to Jasmine
“Nya? Oh that’s because… erh… hmm never have thought about it nya…” Jasmine answers
“AAHHHH!!!” A scream from the tent scared all; it was like if someone just hurt her “MY WINGS!! MY PRECIOUS WINGS!!”
“I think your friend just woke up nya” Jasmine giggles and continues making more potions
Twilight approaches to Rainbow Dash, who was curled on the bed scared. “Rainbow, it´s me Twilight, just calm down please” Rainbow Dash looks at her “Twi? it´s that you?” She looks at her friend´s new body, and her friendly expression which makes her able to calm down. “W-What happened to us? To my Wings?” Twilight hugs her trying to cheer her up.
“I don´t really know what happen, but what I know it that we are not in Equestria anymore” Twilight sat at Rainbow´s side and continue “And that we need to find a way to go back”
Kayrin and Daigo returned to the camp site with some supplies, Kayrin noticed that her guests were awake and enters the tent. “So you´re finally awake huh?” Twilight and Rainbow feel intimidated by her black armor and cold expression that can be seen through her helmet.
“W-Who are you?” Twilight ask timidly.
“I´ll ask the questions here” Kayrin says “It´s time for some answers, somehow you are connected with whatever happened to my friends so we are not moving from here until you tell me whatever you know about it” Kayrin talks cold to them, Twilight and Rainbow Dash looks scared and confused “But I see you are not ready to answer” saying that she go back to the campfire. “Whenever you’re ready to talk I’ll be waiting here, but don’t try to do anything strange or would be the last thing you´ll ever do”
“And why w-we supposed to follow your orders chump!” Rainbow Dash tries to make a strong appearance and confronts Kayrin from the bed “You´re the one who will answer us what’s going on here?”
Kayrin just look back at them “Only if you answer me. If you want to survive here you must need to know whatever you need to know from this place. But I won´t talk until you talk”
“S-Survive? W-What do you mean with that?” Spikes ask scared from her and her black long sword she welds on her back.
“We don’t know how it happens but we know that you’re not from this land” Daigo answers while unpacking the supplies. “So you must know at least that in this forest are creatures that would gobble you in one bite if you go to the forest unprepared. If we didn’t find you when we did you probably would be death by now nya”
“What kind of…” Twilight was about to ask something but Kayrin interrupts her
“Hey, we already answered one question of yours. Now is my turn, don’t you think?” Kayrin took off her helmet and show her face to her guests, seeing that Twilight feels more comfortable talking with her. Rainbow Dash still has her doubts about but wasn’t able to coordinate her body to walk yet.
“First of all, who are you and where do you come from?” Kayrin starts her questions “you really look strange, barely human” Twilight see her factions and start to compare with Rainbow Dash, she noticed that Kayrin´s ears and feet where different and she has no tail, or wings like Rainbow. “Hum well, my name is Twilight Sparkle, my friend here is Rainbow Dash and this is Spike, we came from a magical land called Equestria with other friends...”
Rainbow was trying to stand up, mimicking how Kayrin moves when hear about her friends. “Wait what!? the others were sucked by that thing too!?” Kayrin was interested in what they start to argue. Rainbow Dash finally stood up without noticing it while arguing with Twilight “How that happened? And why we were transformed into these creatures? I can´t even fly with these wings, we gonna stay here forever!” She starts so flap her wings while arguing.
“Calm down, we´re gonna find a way to go back but first we need to find our friends and find out the exact reason we were transformed” Twilight tries to calm down Rainbow “And those little wings are not as useless as you think” pointing to the floor she makes Rainbow to notice that she was hovering a bit.
Rainbow stop flapping her wings and fell out, barely keeping balance over her only 2 hooves. “Whoa… tha-at´s … that’s something… I guess” giggling she finally gains balance and was able to stand. “I guess I just need practice”
“Well, we introduce ourselves, can you care to tell us who are you?” Twilight ask
“Ok, My name is Kayrin and these ones are my comrades, Daigo and Jasmine” Both cats bows to the humanized ponies “we are hunters”
“Hunters?” Twilight surprised, she never meets a hunter before as there is not many hunters in Equestria.
“My turn” Kayrin says before Twilight can even speak another word “What the heck are you? You look like humans, even the ears are relatively common here but, tails, wings and even a horn on your forehead?”
“We are ponies, to be more precise, I’m a unicorn, or used to be one at least” Twilight answer touching her horn
“And I´m a Pegasus, and I’m the best flyer in all over Equestria” she expands her wings unconsciously.
“And I was a dragon” Spike says proudly. Kayrin looks at him incredulous.
“So, you mentioned that this world has some deadly creatures” Twilight asks concern that her friends would be in danger “what kind of creatures? Dragons, manticores?”
Kayrin just look at them for a second then started to laugh “If there were these creatures only, the hunters probably were not needed” Giggling a bit she continue explaining “ There are dragons yes, but you don’t need to worry about them, They are rarely seen around, there are creatures more vicious and quicker than the dragons here. Creatures that attacks other creatures on sight, too aggressive and territorial, even when we usually don’t represent any danger to them. And others who only are evil”
Twilight feel scared by those words, thinking on what will happen if her friends are facing right now one of these creatures. Rainbow Dash feels the same, and feels frustrated that she can´t help them, barely able to stand on her hooves.
“And how you end here?” Kayrin suddenly ask, “You came from “a magical land” you said, how is that land and how you get here?”
“Well, is something complicated to explain but…” Twilight describes how is Equestria, Ponyville and the peaceful they are, then explained how they get stuck by a vortex and what caused it, using the most common words she could find to make everyone to understand.
“So, You´re Ponies?” Kayrin speaks “well that explains your appearance”
“Oh no, this shape isn´t how a pony looks like” Twilight continue “Actually we walk on 4 hooves, like these ones but also on our… hands isn´t it? ...” While Twilight and Kayrin chat about what are ponies and what are humans, Rainbow Dash was practicing her walk and the cats help her to improve, soon started to run around the camp. Using her wings she was able to turn quickly and run faster, tripping sometimes in the process. In the Forest near the camp, a pair of glowing eyes was watching the camp, seeing how Rainbow Dash runs far away from the camp site. Silently the creature lurks around Rainbow who was now dangerously far from the camp. Rainbow tries to jump and use her wings to glide but ended face down in the dirt near the woods, standing up she noticed two feet with sharp claws, and looking up she saw from who those claws was, it resembles for her a dragon and was unable to move cause the fear.
Daigo notices the creature in the woods when it was about to attack Rainbow and pushed her, receiving himself the attack. “GAAHH!!” Daigo screams in pain and before the beast lift him from the ground he grabs a branch and stab it in the eye making it to let him free.
“Daigo!” Rainbow screams while dragging herself away from the beast.
Daigo, free from the beast mouth, was ready to fight with only his branch covered in blood. “RUN!” He screams to the others. In the camp site Kayrin and Twilight hears the screams of Rainbow and Spike who were running to the camp followed by the beast. Daigo was holding one of the beast feet trying to slow down the beast. Jasmine was running aside the beast trying to do the same.
“Rainbow!” Twilight just stand up and scream, not knowing what to do. Kayrin quickly took her long sword and run facing the beast. She pass the now exhaust Rainbow who fell on the ground and with a slash stops the beast.
Twilight run to Rainbow and helped her to stand and return to the tent. “W-What´s that thing!?” She asks while running away. Jasmine runs with Twilight and the others, lifting what looks like a fang in a stick that was near the campfire. “Stay close, I’ll protect you nya” Jasmine was in a fighting stance ready when the beast tries to get close.
“Protect us!?” Spike yells “That thing is almost 10 times your size!! It’s even taller than Kayrin, she´s in danger!”
Twilight and Rainbow just look the fight in horror, thinking that they need to help but unable to do nothing. Kayrin and the injured Daigo fights the beast, dodging its attacks and attacking when they had a chance, finally the beast was badly injured that just run away from them.
Kayrin carry back her injured partner and give him one of the potions Jasmine prepared. Rainbow felt guilty seeing the poor cat covered in blood. “I… I just” Rainbow try to say something but nothing came from her mouth.
“I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN THE CAMP!!” Kayrin yells to Rainbow “YOU WERE LUCKY THAT DAIGO WAS THERE TO SAVE YOUR ASS BUT THE NEXT TIME YOU WILL BE THE ONE WHO GETS THE BITE!” Kayrin was really angry and was about to hit Rainbow, but she hold herself seeing in Rainbow´s eyes that she was really scared. Kayrin became silent then and carry Daigo back to the tent´s bed and sat near him.
Rainbow was frustrated, remembering the bravery that the little cat shows before that beast and how scared she was. She, who was proud and strong, was nothing more than a coward when was in real danger, she thought of her sitting near the campfire and starts to cry in frustration. Twilight sat at her side with Spike and tries to calm her “Come on Rainbow, everything will be ok”
“No it won´t” Rainbow answers to Twilight “I was terrified Twilight! I was almost sure that I was about to die there! I was pathetic!” Looking back to the tent she continues “And that little one, look at him, he almost dies trying to save me!”
“Come on Rainbow, you know that it wasn´t your fault” Twilight hugs Rainbow “We know that if you were in your normal body you would be able to fight back that creature, like you do with that manticore back in our world, you were just “out of your element” that’s all”
Rainbow remembered that incident, the first time that the six friends confront a terrible foe, and came across terrible creatures and fearsome situations. She then stands and walk to the tent, facing Kayrin “Kayrin, teach me” Kayrin didn´t look at her. “What?” Only answered
“Teach me how to fight! How to confront those creatures!” With tears of frustration Rainbow yells at Kayrin “I don’t want to let another one get hurt because of me! Please teach me!” Then she fell on her knees, now crying “please, make me strong… as strong as you… please…”
Kayrin just glance at her without saying anything, still angry. Twilight saw the scene from outside the tent “Please teach us” Twilight replied too “we don’t want to become a nuisance to you, and we need to find our friends in this world, so we need to defend ourselves and our friends, please teach us how to fight back”
Kayrin don’t say a word and look back at Daigo, who was now sleep. Jasmine then answered “We will teach you nya, but we don’t have the equipment to do that here, we must go back to the village to get armor and sword for you nya” looking back at Kayrin she knows that her mistress really wanted to say yes, but can’t do that at the moment
The rest of the day Jasmine, Twilight and the others help to lift the camp, only leaving the tent and the bed to rest that night. The next day early, Kayrin was outside the tent with Jasmine and Daigo ready to go, Twilight and Rainbow was awakening and getting ready to go, Spike was still sleep over the backpack that Twilight now carry.
Twilight and Rainbow feel uneasy on Kayrin when start the trip to the village, when Kayrin suddenly speaks “I won´t be an easy instructor, you hear?”
“What?” Both ponies say at the same time confused
“So you really will teach us?!”Rainbow says excited about.
“AND I won’t repeat myself twice, understood!” Kayrin says with a prominent voice
“Yes miss” Rainbow answered like if she was in the infantry. Twilight just giggles, following them with Jasmine and Daigo, who has now bandages around his body but fine.

Was nearly evening when Twilight and the others were arriving at the Pokke Village, a small town at the side of the mountain. They were tired for a long walk from the forest, and was a cold evening, Rainbow Dash and Twilight where tired and were freezing while walking through the village wearing almost nothing over her bodies.
– I-It’s really cold here – Twilight was trying to warm her hands while Rainbow walks silently but shivering a bit. Spike still was sleeping on Twilight´s backpack, with Daigo which injures was almost healed thanks to the potion.
- Come on, we´re almost there – Kayrin sheer her guest to continue, arriving at the door of a humble house. Its roof was covered in snow and looks like no one were livin in there for some time ago.
- T-this is y-your house? – Rainbow ask, a bit disappointed about the look of it – I-I was ex-expecting something e-else –
- I Just rest here – answer Kayrin with a smile – I don´t spend much time here when I’m out hunting monsters in other regions, even for weeks, come inside before you´ll freeze – she let in her guest who sat in front of the chimney as soon as they can enter, Jasmine ignites it while Kayrin unpack. Daigo half-awakened walk inside another room, which was the kitchen followed by Jasmine.
- you need to dress properly, let me see if I has something you can use - searching in a large chest inside the house Kayrin take out some old clothes and armor pieces.
- Thank you, but… - Their stomach interrupts her, they hasn’t eat nothing aside the potion for almost a day now, they were starving – we prefer something to eat first –
Still looking for something Kayrin continue with the chat – of corse, just give me a minute… I know I have something here – she almost jump inside the chest looking for some more clothes when continue – By the way, what do ponies eat? - She asks while pondering over a furry coat.
- Well, we have various types of food in Equestria – Twilight was warmer now, and Rainbow was warming her little wings, she almost can´t feel them because the cold. – We eat Daffodils, Daisies, Celery stacks, some fruits like apples and oranges and… - .
Rainbow continues with Twilight list of food – And some sweets like apple fritters, apple tarts, sugar flavored Cupcakes, blueberry muffins… -
- wow, mostly a vegetarian diet – she approaches to them holding some fluffy clothes, pants and coats – take, put this on, this will keep you warm, and what about meat? You don’t eat meat aren’t you? –
-Yuck, that’s disgusting! – Both ponies answered with a repulsion expression on their faces, Twilight then continue – we are ponies, our bodies are not supposed to eat meat. And it’s really gross, the only thing we eat from another living creature are eggs and milk, why you ask?-
- Well bad news then, the main food here is meat– Kayrin replied walking to the kitchen. – I won’t force you to eat it, I think the chef can do something good with veggies and fruits, but in the field the only food you´ll eat probably will be meat, so I suggest you to get used to it quick. Once you get dressed come to the kitchen, I’ll order something to eat –
Twilight and Rainbow look each other, and wondering about the meat.
-This place sure is weird – Twilight speaks while putting on the clothes – the humans are apparently mostly carnivores -
-Yeah they remember me a griffon, they mostly ate meat and rarely fruits and other things, we must hurry to learn to fight those creatures if we want to find the others and go back to Equestria – Rainbow replies
-You know what that means right? To fight those creatures? To use a sword? – Twilight looks straight to Rainbow
- Yeah, means that we need to kill – Rainbows answered with not apparent concern about the theme
-Exactly, kill, murder another living creature. I-I don’t know if I can do that – Twilight shivers just thinking on it, remembering the injuries that the Velocidrome suffer when Kayrin defend her and Rainbow.
- It´s really… something… but think it like this… - Rainbow then look at Twilight straight to de eyes – If you don’t kill, you get killed, and I don’t want to be the dinner of any creature –
Twilight then remembered how Daigo fights the creature even with those injuries – You´re right; these humans and cats really are brave to hunt those creatures being still small compared them, it´s like the “nature of the strongest” it´s inversed here –
Rainbow Dash remembered the first impression of the Velocidrome on her, and feel uneasy – A-And what you gonna do? Will you try the meat? ´cause I will - Suddenly Rainbow changes the conversation theme.
-WHAT? – Twilight just say that while Rainbow leaves to the kitchen – ARE YOU SERIOUS? -
- Y-Yeah, we are no longer ponies anyway- Rainbow answers seeming self-confidence about it – And I´ll do whatever is needed to find our friends and go back home, even if it´s means to eat a whole beast – Rainbow´s last words remembers to Twilight one important thing she must wonder soon, why and how they were changed into humans?
- I-I suppose you´re right, we aren´t ponies anymore and we need to know why we changed – Twilight and Rainbow walks into the kitchen, which was a huge room with a table in the middle and a really big oven with a face of a monster which looks intimidating with the fire inside; Another smaller ovens where at its side cooking diverse types of food. Behind on the wall where many shelves with many kinds of food, veggies, crabs, different type of meats and many different species, the smell of roasted meat, rice and cooked fish overwhelm the ponies, making them to droll a bit.
Spike wakes up following his nose to the kitchen behind his friends – Wow, its smells really good – around the kitchen was many cats in cook costumes; Kayrin was talking with one next to the ovens when Spikes get near to them – Hey, do you have some gems for me to eat? –
Kayrin and the cat-chef were surprised with that question – gems? ... You eat… gems – The cat ask to the now ashamed dragon-cat.
- Spike! – Twilight yells at him – you can´t bother others with that type of questions, you don´t know how value or rare are the gems in this world, or even if they exist here –
- They exist of corse – Jasmine, who was near answer to her – but we can´t eat them, they are very hard nya –
- you see, and remember, right now you aren’t a dragon, so you might not be able to eat them, or breath fire – Twilight continue yelling.
- Oh but I CAN breath fire, let me show you – taking a deep breath Spikes exhales a little but really hot green fire - you see, Rainbow still has her wings and you might still have your magic –
-Magic? – Kayrin interrupts the little purple cat – you can do magic twilight? –
- Huh? Me? Well! – Twilight reacts hesitantly after thinking all this time that she has loses her magic
- Of corse she can, she´s the most powerful unicorn I know after the princess – Spike answers making Twilight blush.
- Well I-I´m not sure about it, I´m not a pony anymore and… - Twilight answers nervously
- But you still has your horn – Spikes says
Twilight touched her horn again, wondering if she still can use magic or not when her stomach interrupts. – Maybe you´ll feel more confident to try that “magic” after a good lunch – Kayrin tells her – I ordered a vegetarian dinner tonight, so you can eat whatever you want without worry about nothing –
-T-Thanks – Twilight, blushing from the scene she did, she doesn´t like to show of her magic without a good reason and almost starving she surely don’t feel able to try magic jet.
The 2 anthropomorphized ponies and Spike sat at the table where the other chef-cats where placing several plates of boiled veggies and cooked fruits, something that feels to them something familiar to eat and a delicious meal. Kayrin and her companions ate a carnivorous meal as ever with a variety of veggies too. They talked all the night about their differences between their worlds and creatures, their manners, the life of a hunter and many sort of things of interest to them, and went to sleep after finish.
Kayrin and Daigo sleep near the chimney, Jasmine and Spike over some pillows near the bed, Twilight and Rainbow sleep together in the bed. Twilight wasn´t sleep jet looking at the night sky worry about her friends, about Equestria, about the princess and Ponyville. – Rainbow Dash, are you still awake? - Twilight ask to Rainbow who was half sleep.
-Yeah, What´s up? – Rainbow answers
- Do you think or friends are ok out there? Did they have where to stay at night? – Twilight ask mostly to herself than to Rainbow, wondering about it
- I… - Rainbow cover her head with the blanket – I prefer not to think about it now, tomorrow we can start looking for them, but now I think it´s better to rest than to worry – Rainbow turns over her back and watch at the rustic celling -They´ll be fine, Applejack is strong and knows to take care of herself by her own, Fluttershy is good with animals, so she probably got the help of something tiny and not that aggressive, and Pinkie… well is Pinkie –
Twilight giggle a bit remembering Pinkie – You right, probably she was able to perform a wild party in the woods – Rainbow and Twilight giggle, but they were worry about them. – Hope we can find them before another thing founds them – Kayrin hears all their conversation, wondering if her friends are ok in the world of the ponies.
Meanwhile, near a cliff in the forest, a wobbly feminine figure walks holding herself to the trees to keep on her hooves - Where am I? – The creature was talking to herself watching everywhere totally panicked – What am I? – She was completely nude, her hair and tail was pale-pink and has a fringe over her face. On her hips she has a mark of 3 pink cyan butterflies and on her back has little wings which she moves to be able to walk with more balance. – Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight; some pony please, help me! – She timidly screams, scared that any unwanted creature finds her, she find a place to rest under the roots of a humongous tree feels safe and then faints.
In other part of the forest, in a cave under a waterfall a mysterious man pulls in an unconscious pink puffy haired and tailed feminine creature with a mark of balloons on her hips, the mysterious man place her over an old bed inside the cave, where was a very old camp site. –Ok, this is all I can do for ya until you wake up – the man says leaving her sleeping in the cave.
Not far from there, in a village where only cats lives many of them where helping to carry an unconscious feminine blonde long haired and tailed creature with a mark of 3 apples on her hips. They placed her near one of their houses and cover her with some blankets made of leather and fur of many animals. The chief of the village, and old black cat with a smoking pipe in his mouth, makes sure that everyone stay away from her until she awakes, being him and his young son the ones who watch her.
The next morning at the training camp in Pokke village, Kayrin, Twilight and Rainbow were ready to train with the different types of weapons who a hunter uses in battle, Twilight and Rainbow wearing a basic armor –Ok ladies, as you already know a hunter must be capable to survive in the field while hunting his prey, this knowledge you’re about to learn take years to master but as your case is special you´ll take the quickest lessons about it – Kayrin was using her dark armor set and in front of her was 12 different weapons, 5 which looks like swords, 2 like lances, a big hammer, a musical instrument, 2 like crossbow and a bow – The weapons have 2 main categories, Melee weapons and range weapons – taking “the sword and shield” – and choosing the right weapon often makes the difference between life and death –
- And how we know which one is the right weapon? – Rainbow ask, amazed by the different weapons – why we can just go, take the big sword over there and take out the beast with a single blow? –
- I like your optimism Dash but even the weakest of the monsters can survive many attacks of that sword, and many of them really are too fast for that, just try to carry it – Kayrin says moving to the great sword, with was a double-edged metal sword.
Rainbow tries to lift it but can´t even move it an inch. – Ghnn!! , how- how you fight with this thing? –
- Hardly and slowly – Kayrin answers moving to grab the sword herself, with technical skill and effort Kayrin lift the sword – Now, stay back! – Rainbow move far from her and then Kayrin makes some fighting moves in the air, making look the sword light as the air – To use this sword, you must use its weight at your side and move – unleashing a final slash to the ground – like it was part of your body – Rainbow was amazed how Kayrin moves that sword feeling really excited to learn. – But I think this one isn’t for any of you; let’s start “the basics” –
-What? , you not gonna start with a long and boring speech about how to use a sword right? – Rainbow says disappointed
Kayrin give her a flaming red sword and a black-red shield – Not exactly, I’ll just show how to move the sword and then it´s up to you, to fight a monster with a melee weapon usually depends more in react fast and less in think on your next move – she gives to Twilight a pair of sabers – These ones are commonly known as “twin sabers” and… -
Twilight interrupts her with an uneasy look – Kayrin, I-I don’t feel like I can do this – Looking at the weapons she was scared thinking that she need to kill – I don’t want to hurt anything, not to think on kill-
- I thought you want to find and save your friends – Kayrin says
- And I want, but it´s just… - Twilight was afraid, and really doesn´t know what to do – it´s not right, I don’t feel right thinking that I´ll take another creature life, it´s like if I were killing another pony –
Rainbow hearing that looks at the sword in her hand; it was red like flames and has scratches from past battles; she knows that that sword has already kill some creatures – Kill or be killed right? This is all about here right Kayrin? –
Kayrin look at both frightened girls with concern, how they supposed to fight a creature if they even are afraid to fight – it´s something like that yes, but I don’t want you to kill anything if it’s not necessary- Both girls look at her a bit confused but feeling better to hear that – I just want you to be prepared for the worst, and the true is that the worst is to kill –
She then took the black long sword unsheathing it – this armor, and this weapon were made of a powerful and fearsome beast called Nargacura, these are commonly creatures of the night and don’t attack humans unless some foolish one enter in his hunting field. But the one who I take its wing for this sword was different; it searches for humans on purpose, attacking villages and killing people, even in midday -
- But it was his nature right? A carnivorous creature hunting its prey – Twilight says remembering how the food chain works in nature
- We though the same at first, but the creature never ate the ones who kills - Kayrin start to remember the day when she fought that beast – I and a friend where hired to protect a merchant caravan, which pass through the monster´s territory. It carries supplies and medicine for the ones who was recently attacked –
Kayrin sat on the ground cross legged and place the unsheathed sword over her legs -When we arrive at the village what we found was horrible. All the village was destroyed, dead people every were, signs of fight and the tip of the beast tail, no one were outside except for us and the beast who was sleeping over some flattened houses –
- So you fought it right? – Rainbow says – You run an attack the beast like you did with the Velocidrome right? –
-I tried yes but my friend stopped me. He convinced me that to fight it was a lost cause, looking at the ruins of the town I agreed with him and start leaving with the caravan -
- So you leave it there? - Twilight ask – I thought they hired you to kill the beast –
-They hired me to protect the caravan, if the beast were attacked it you can bet it I fight it until the end – Kayrin answers.
- So, it attacked you right? – Twilight ask
- Sigh, yes - With an unusual sad tone in her voice Kayrin answers - To make a long story short, and avoid all the “uncomfortable details” for you, my friend was injured by the beast and forced to retire from hunt, the caravan ran away safe to the nearest town and I killed the beast –
- But why so sad then, you won and plus you avenged the town – Rainbow says trying to sheer her up
- Actually the one who deserves avengement was the Nargacura – Kayrin answered –The beast has a big scar on its left eye and wounds over all its body, commonly a beast in this state would run to hide and heal for another day, but this one attack us immediately, if I didn’t kill it there it would attack some other village son after he recovers enough –
- But why it attacked then, it don’t make any sense that a wounded beast with a way to scape attacks – Twilight ask confused
- Fear - Kayrin sheathed her sword and continue – There were rumors that some villages were trying to tame and use the beast to fight for them, and apparently this one was one of them. This Nargacura has that fear to humans and the villages who tortured it that it come with one solution, banish what it fears. No much time after the beast were killed the hunters guild confirms that in that village had captive many young creatures in really bad shape, most of them were put to sleep forever ´cause they´re health while others don’t last longer than a month after that. The Nargacura I fought was an extraordinary one, able to survive all of that torture for years. After I knew about that I pay to make this armor of him, to try to gain his fighting spirit and remember that not every monster are bad, sometimes we make them bad –
- That was awful - Twilight were immerse in her thoughts, knowing that Kayrin was right but still unsure about the theme. Rainbow holds again the sword and walks to the center of the arena and starts to swing and slash the air with it, her wings made her very agile, more than any other human. – This world is cruel, need to kill to survive and make you to took hard choices – she spoke while practicing – the sooner we found our friends the sooner we can get back to our pacific old lives, but while that happen I´ll live under this cruel world rules – taking a little break she continues – I don’t want to kill either but I’ll do anything to protect my friends -
Twilight look again at the weapons and choose the bow as her weapon. – If I need to defend myself then I prefer to do it from a safe distance, I don’t want to look at the face of the creature if I ever end killing it – she say to herself, still uneasy over it but with determination on her eyes – We will find our friends and somehow I´ll bring us back to home –
- That´s the spirit - Kayrin replies her – and if even happens that you need to kill something I´ll be there to do the dirty work, after all my friends are probably trapped in your world too and I won’t let you alone until I find a way to bring back them-
The 3 girls then started to practice with the weapons; Rainbow Dash tries every one of the melee weapons and finally chooses for herself the “dual swords” which looks like the Velocidrome claws. Twilight not only practiced how to use the bow but to try again to use her magic which was weaker than usual but makes her feel more faith in herself.
Meanwhile under the roots of the humongous tree, Fluttershy wakes up smelling something sweet in the air, she hasn´t eat nothing since she arrives there and was starving. –What´s that sweet smell? – She asks to herself following her nose to a honeycomb in the ground, she even think about it when she started to eat it – It´s delicious! – And after satisfying herself she stands up over her hooves and carries with her the rest of the honeycomb. – I- I suppose I can bring it with me right, there is not even bees around to claim it – She start to walk over her hooves, feeling her movement more natural than the first time when she woke up in the middle of a crater.
- Oh my goodness, what I supposed to do now? , I´m lost in the middle of nowhere, I´m alone, and even I´m not in my body – she speaks to herself, remembering the awful situations she was – I need to find the others before something finds them, or something finds me! – She continues walking timidly through the forest while eating from the honeycomb leaving a trail of it where she walks. Some miles away from her a fanged beast smells too the sweet aroma of the honey being carried by Fluttershy in the air and start to follow it.
Meanwhile in the cave behind the waterfall Pinkie Pie wakes up, dizzy and starving. – Wow, that really was a doozy, where am I? And where is every pony? – Her stomach makes hunger sounds interrupting her and making her to look at her body. – I think the important thing now is to find some food. Hum…. – rubbing her belly in hunger she finally realizes that her body changed – huh? What! M- My hooves!! My body!! What happened!? – She remembered the speech of the Doctor about dimensions – this is what that smarty pants of the doctor means with other dimensions!? , so they know that this probably could happen and make a spell to change me or some pony else into this body to have better chances to survive here and don’t attract much attention if I or some pony else were stuck here and appears in a populated zone!? – Her straight expression changes rapidly into her laughter commonly face after saying that to herself giggling a bit – Don’t be silly Pinkie, the one who must cast the spell would be the Princess Celestia or Princess Luna not “the docta” – She quickly checks her body, having now 2 legs and hooves on it, hands where her front hooves were and feeling good having her body straight up to the floor. – Well, I can´t just stay here while my friends are out there lost – she stands up and tries to walk, falling without even able to do her first step. – Whoa! I think I need to learn how to move this body first – she stands up over her hooves again, being not so strange to her due to her random nature. – Ok, this body seems to be used like this, 2 legs like the chickens, just remember to put a hoof in front of the other – she tries again to walk, and step by step she starts to walk – one, two, one - falling after her 5th step, she fells over the someone who helped her to stand.
- Hey, are you ok lady? – The man ask to her
- Y-yes, I´m fine I just… – Pinkie looks at him when realized that he wasn’t a pony – Whoa!! – pushing him she jumps backwards barely walking and starting to fell when he holds her again.
- Hey calm down, I´m not gonna hurt you – He says to the scared Pinkie who look at his eyes. – are you ok sweetie? –
- Y-Yeah sure – she was surprised to know someone kind and being not a pony.
He helped her to stand up and holding her hand helped her to walk –you surely hit your head badly to even forget how to walk, are you sure you’re ok? -
-Completely sure I am thanks, and what´s your name? – Pinkie ask him with her eagerly and cheerful voice - ´cause Granny Pie always told me to not talk to strangers, and telling me your name will make you not to be a stranger anymore like how many strange you know that you know their names and till being strangers… –
The man giggles at the hyperactivity of her – alright, alright I´ll tell you my name- He stand in front of her and shakes her hand – my name is Al, and what´s yours? –
With a big smile Pinkie shakes enthusiastically his hand too – My name´s Pinkie Pie, well it´s not my complete name but I don´t like my complete name, sound way too boring to me, Nice to meet you! – That day Al helped Pinkie to get used to walk on her hooves while they chat about how she get here and what was that place, forgetting all about her hunger and the urge to find her friends by the excitement of knowing a new friend.
Meanwhile in the Cat´s village, Applejack starts to wake up. – Whoa nelly, what a trip - she feels dizzy but remembered clearly all what happened, the treachery of Discord and how she jumps to save her friends – Twilight! Hey what? Where´s every pony? – She looks around looking for her friends, but she just saw strange small constructions and many cats looking at her.
- Oh? You finally awake, we thought that you´ll never woke up again – the old cat chief speaks to her – Thanks goodness you´re ok – all the cats were gathering around and mumbling about her
- W- What in tarnation!? A talkin´ cat!! A bunch of talkin´ cats!! – Applejack jumps out of the little bed
- Ho ho ho. Sorry if I scared you young one but we are not what you call cats, we are known as “Felyne” – The chief says calmly to the panicked girl – And I could say, you’re not from this land aren´t you, you’re not look completely like a human-
- Wha´? – she barely reacts and looks at herself, she was standing over only 2 hooves, her front hooves became hands and her skin has changes completely – In the name o´!! What happened to me?! – She lost her balance and fell on the bed totally panicked seeing herself in that situation. – This can´t be happenin´, calm down an´ remember, Ah´ … we were usin´ the elements and … Discord – She mumbles to herself loudly when a baton pokes her head.
-Hey, young lady, it’s time to calm down and rest, was a long fall after all – The chief points to the sky with his baton – I´m surprised that a human where able to survive that, well I must say that your age helped you –
- Human? – Applejack confused replies to the chief – Sorry lil´ one but Ah´ not a human, Ah´m a pony, or a´ least I used t´be, what you mean with “ah´ survive”? Or at least can tell me where am Ah´ or my friends? –
The chief starts to walks away to a little house near after that – Follow me and I´ll tell you whatever I know, but I can say you are in a safe place, no one will hurt you here –
Applejack followed him walking over her hooves and hands like she usually do and feel her body act strange with that movement. – Ah´ think Ah´m not supposed to move like this anymore, but there´s no time for tha´, Ah´ must look for the others before somethin´ really bad happen –

Chapter 4: Adventure Aperture
Was nearly evening in the village. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were sleeping after a long day of training, Spike spend all the day with the other cats learning about the chores of a “Felyne comrade” and was very tired too but still was helping in the kitchen.
- So, how well it went to the newbie in his first day? – Kayrin asks to Daigo, who was sitting near the entrance of the kitchen.
- Surprisingly well, I though he won´t even endure a half of a day but here he is, surely that Twilight is a strict girl nya- Daigo answers praising Spike´s abilities – Now I owe him a dinner – Kayrin giggle at his comment when he stand up and continues – and what ´bout those girls, you think they can make it? –
- I´m not sure – Kayrin answers – Rainbow surely has some awesome athletic skills and Twilight really can perform “magic” but they still are afraid to fight – she turns to see the room where Twilight and Rainbow were sleeping – I just hope they can do “what they have to do” when the time comes –
That night was a peaceful night at the Pokke village. Meanwhile in the forest Fluttershy was on the shore of a river near a waterfall resting her aching hooves after walk through the forest all the day.
- I hope every pony are ok – She was seeing at the moon with her mind full of thoughts about her friends – And has some place warm to sleep – Then she lay on the floor looking to not a specific thing when she started to fall asleep. – I´m sorry girls, I´m sorry for not be able to found you - She closes her eyes when a loud sound likes an explosion awakes her and made her instinctively hide in the nearest bushes and curl closing her eyes.
The sounds of clashing metals and the roars of a beast where closing where she was but she was afraid to see what it was. – Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness… - She was curling and trembling inside the bushes hopping that whatever that was making those sounds leave, when she barely heard what she think was voices. She was about to peek outside the bushes trying to see who was talking out there when a near explosion stunned her. She can´t hear anything and barely can see through the smoke of the explosion, crawling outside of it she look back to see a human with strange clothes and a little cat like creature with the same outfit fighting a blue bear. She was too afraid at the moment but seeing that the bear was badly injured and losing the battle she ran at the others without think and stand between them and the fallen bear protecting it.
- Hey what are you doing? Get out of the way! – The man commands her but she don’t move or speak, she just stood there. The bear, which was on the ground after losing it balance, start to run away limping into the forest. – It´s escaping! – The man yells and cat started to pursuit it but Fluttershy jumps to hold it, seeing this, he runs after the bear too but Fluttershy makes him fall with her tail. The bear quickly banished in the forest and Fluttershy, now scared for her own safety, followed the bear into the forest.
- Hey wait! – The man was confused not sure on what just happened. A human protecting a Monster was something inconceivable for most of them, not to mention that a naked woman with a strange appearance walks in the forest at night – What... what just happen? – The man stood there trying to realize what happened with his companion at his side. Fluttershy continues running in the forest trying to follow the bear with her pony ears, seeing it not so far from the river place lying under a honeycomb trying in vain to catch it. – Oh my goodness! – She approaches to the bear slowly, knowing that a wild creature in panic would be unpredictable and dangerous.
After noticed her the bear stands over its four pawns ready to fight but to week to even move from that position. –Calm down mister bear, no one will hurt you anymore – Fluttershy starts to carefully caress its head and snout making it to relax, with a loud thud the bear collapses over its side.
– Those meanie ones really make you pass a rough time, how dare them to hurt a wonderful bear like you – She, after winning the Bear´s trust, start to examine its wounds, she barely see in the night but what she saw was that most of the wounds were only flesh-wounds but too many of them that makes it weak and unable to walk. – Poor little thing, let me take care of you now - The bear starts to lick her hand which still has some trails of honey – Oh you must be hungry – Fluttershy stand and flapping hard her little wings was able to reach the honeycomb, dropping it to the ground to break it and taking some pieces for the bear – Here you go mister bear, I´m sorry that I can´t do much for you but at least I can give you this – The bear starts to eat the honeycomb that Fluttershy placed in front of it and she walks around starting to massage its exposed side – This… will make… you feel better… mister bear… - she fell asleep over the bear which, after gained some strength from the honey, curls around Fluttershy protecting her too.
Meanwhile in the house of the chief of the Felyne village many cats where gathered around it, inside the chief and Applejack were talking about how she got there and where she came from.
- So you´re not formerly a human being right? – The chief ask examining her naked body
- That´s right, Ah´ born like a pony, an´ used to use four hooves to walk – Applejack answers looking at her body too – At least ah´ still has mah´ tail and ears but I wonder where mah´ beloved hat fell – she touched her head and sigh missing her characteristic Stetson hat.
- We can make you a hat if you want young one, and some clothes but in change you must help us in the village while we have ready all of that stuff – The chief says – and all that hard work will help you to get used to your new body –
- But Ah´ don´t have time for tha´- Applejack replies – Ah´ need to find my friends and will do it right now, no wonder what kind o´ danger they facing now-
The chief hit her head with his baton -We can´t let you do that! – The chief was standing over his table to be at Applejack´s eye level – not like that! –
- And why not!? – Applejack answers angry, just worried about her friends
- You will just die out there without a proper armor! – The chief yells at her seeing at her eyes – Out there are many monsters, dangerous creatures and wild beast that will tear you apart with a single hit of their tails! – After that the chief sat again in his chair. - Not only that, you don´t know how to survive out there or have the equipment to travel long distances, not to mention that you don´t even know how to walk. Going like that after your friends would be compared to suicide. – Applejack realized all her new limitations, her body, her surroundings, the new dangers, but nothing of that keep her mind for want to go out to find and make sure that her friends where alright. – Then what Ah’m supposed t´do? – She ask with a bit of frustration in her voice – As ya say, mah´ friends might be facing those dangers while Ah’m sit here doing nothing t´help them–
From the cats which were gathered at the entrance of the house a confidence voice calls – I can help you with that! – A young gray cat wearing an armor made of acorn makes his way through the other ones, falling over his face when he makes to reach Applejack. – I- I can help you to find them in no time! –
Applejack looks at him surprised and confused while the chief looks at him angry – No way! , you only want an excuse to leave the village trying to achieve your ridiculous dream of “become a hunter” all by yourself! – The chief approaches to him still yelling – you know that the Felynes will never become official hunters, only companions for the humans and that will ever be the rule –
- But what about the famous Trenya – The young one replied – He´s technically a hunter by himself being hired by humans and going alone to those wild lands all alone and… –
- He´s a Treasure hunter! – The chief yells – and took him many years under the tutelage of Trenshi to become like that you hear, YEARS! - Hitting the young Felyne head over his helmet the chief continue – and you, after just 3 months of training want to go out there!?, just like that! … HA! –
- Hey calm down you two! – Applejack interrupts them seeing her chance to find her friends sooner – It´s Mah´ decision after all, and Ah´ say Ah´ trust these young fella –
- But… – The chief tries to reply to her but she still continue
- Ah´ want t´find my friends and these here might help me with that, ah´ also know that ah´ need to learn many things before Ah´ can go outside, so just give me 3 days to get used to mah´ new self and we go –
The chief wasn´t too sure about her decision but he can´t do anything against her –O-Ok young lady, but I suggest you to at least give us a week to prepare some clothes and a basic weapon. As a human you´re not supposed to go naked all the time and your safety for now is our responsibility, after all we found you –
- If ya say so, but Ah´ or my friends don’t usually wear clothes – Applejack answered indifferently
After that in the Felyne village all the cats starts to prepare a place where their guest can sleep while Applejack, the chief and the young Felyne talks about what they will do the next days. – By the way, I’m Steve, Nice to meet you - the young cat present himself.
- Ah´m Applejack, nice to meet ya lil´ fella- Applejack answers him
At the same time in the cave, the strange man where returning with some food for his guest Pinkie, who was trying on a spare armor set he brings. –Hey Pinkie! I´m back –

- yeah sure – Pinkie answers while eating the supplies, which were only honey and fruits – It suits me very well, a bit tight on the hips area but I think it´s because the tail – After finish her meal she continues – Aahh… I really was hungry, I never been that hungry… never, in my whole life, it like I haven eat nothing in like so much time and now I feel like already eaten a whole party cake or two and… hey, you haven´t even touch your dinner– Pinkie noticed that Al was just sitting near the campfire looking curiously at her. – Are you alright? –
- Yeah I´m ok, I ate already in the way here so, I´m not hungry at all – The man answers
- Oh, I see – Pinkie says - You told me that these clothes were from a friend of you right? What happened to her? Why she didn´t keep her clothes? –
- I don´t know – the man answers looking at the fire with a gloomy face – One day she just left it in my house and disappear, I was looking for her since then – Pinkie was silent after seeing him sad, she wanted to make him smile but don’t know how at the moment, then the man breaks the silent with a noisy sigh – anyway, it noon already and I think it´s better for you to sleep early tonight, tomorrow awaits a hard day –
-Yeah… Yeah tomorrow! – Pinkie´s thoughts went from how to make him smile to the excitement of the journey of tomorrow – I almost forgot that you´ll help me to find my friends! I´m really excited about tomorrow, I never been so excited well except when… - Pinkie continues with her nonsense talk until she falls asleep in the tent, the man was watching at her while the night falls over them.

Kayrin was out with Daigo while Jasmine was helping in the Kitchen preparing the breakfast and Spike was still sleeping.
- Hey Twi! – Rainbow Dash broke the silence in the room – when you think we will go find our friends? I mean, I know we were still not prepared to face those monsters out there but what if the others are facing them right now? –
- I don´t know Rainbow – Twilight answers while reading the book – I´m as worry as you but reading what are those monsters in this book I think is better to wait for now – she takes the book closer to her face while talking – many of the large monsters or “Wyverns” like they calls them are very aggressive and territorial and might attack any pony on sight –
- Exactly for THAT we need to find them now! – Rainbow replies in frustration– Fluttershy must be too scared to even try to find something to eat, must be starving right now, Apple Jack might be trying to find us without thinking on herself for a minute, and Pinkie Pie… well Pinkie… she just… -
- I know, I know – Twilight put her book aside and approaches to Rainbow – But now we are as helpless as they are, going like this right now will be reckless and dangerous. Sometimes is better to wait and hope for the best – Twilight sighed after that and continues – if only I can contact the Princess, I feel lost now without her guidance but… - she turns to look at Spike – My magic isn´t as strong as it used to be in our home, I doubt that Spike can send the letter as usually he does –

-Aahh!! I´ll clean the Kitch… - Spike awakes startled, dreaming of yesterday’s chores and the strict the Felynes are in their manners – w-what? ... Its morning already? –

The half-awake dragon-cat approaches to the nearest table searching by instinct for paper and Quill when reacted to Twilights demand – What?, do you really thing I can send a letter now?, even you can´t perform most of your basic magic spells – Spikes replied, still looking for the paper and something to write.
- I know Spike – Twilight answered – but I just realized that I can still use magic because I tried, maybe you can still send the letters –
- Alright then – Spike finally found something to write, a piece of carbon from the chimney and a paper from the desk – I don’t know if it will work but I hope it works –
Twilight starts to dictate the letter to spike while Rainbow Dash put away the swords when an angry Kayrin enters mumbling something, followed by a worried Daigo.
- Hey what’s up?! – Rainbow Dash greets her but was totally ignored by Kayrin who rushed into the Kitchen. – What´s the matter with her?-
- Something awful just happen nya- Daigo answers the rhetorical question of Rainbow – the only thing in can tell ya now it´s that you need to get ready soon, cause were leaving- after that he rushed to the Kitchen too.
Rainbow Dash was now confused but she started to put on her borrowed armor and swords. – Hey Twi. - Rainbow speaks to her friend without response – Twilight? ... Hey Twilight! – Rainbow dash screams.
-What? There’s no need for screaming – Twilight finally answers to her friend – just let me finish this with Spike ok? - She replied and then look back at her assistant – OK Spike, now send the letter, just try to concentrate more than you usually do –
- Got it – Spikes nodded and closes his eyes, remembering all he knew about sending letters with fire, after a few seconds he blow some green fire burning the letter in front of him and the ashes starts to magically fly away, like they usually do. – Hmm. Seems that it worked now we just need to wait for a reply-
- I hope so – Twilight replied.
- So, you two finished? - Rainbow Dash ask leaning against the wall - ´Cause apparently we´re finally going out –
- Yeah – Rainbow Dash continues – but something’s seems to be wrong –
- What do you mean? – Twilight ask
- Kayrin was upset about something – Rainbow answers - and Daigo was worried when they came back, maybe something bad happened - Rainbow then walks to the kitchen too –You better get ready to go out now, you know, with the armor and that’s stuff, just in case -
Twilight just nodded to her friend while Spike start to take out some supplies from Kayrin’s chest. – What just happened? – Twilight ask to herself.
Meanwhile at the forest, Fluttershy was riding over the bear searching for some food and watching to not cross again with the hunters. She was alert, her ears moving around trying to hear the hunters while the beast was sniffing around for more honey or something to eat. Suddenly Fluttershy hears some brushes cracking and distinguish the metal sown of a sword, with a quick movement she makes the bear to hide in other brushes and continue her way silently and quickly. The Hunter and his comrade were confused. – It’s supposed to be around here, where is that dam beast! – The hunter yells in frustration. – The time is running out and I haven´t even seen a trail of that thing, it´s like it banished –
-Maybe that girl has something to do with that – His companion says while using its ears to try to hear the beast.
- Can hear somethin´? – The hunter ask
- Just a bunch of vespoids not far from here – the cat replies
- Dam it! – The hunter says – well, it’s not use to continue this hunt, there’s is no much time left also, let’s go back to the village and report about that strange girl- The hunter and his comrade where leaving when over a tree Fluttershy watch them.
- Good, they won’t be a trouble anymore- after she gets down from the tree she realizes how useful her new body is – at the end these erh… new hoofs … are very useful – in the ground she jumps in place and stretched – I get used to this body now, maybe I can find my friends now, I must hurry – she runs into the forest followed by the bear, like it was her pet.
In the Felyne Village fields, Applejack was helping the cats harvesting some berries and herbs, now she was dressed with some fabrics around her breast and hips, just covering enough of her body. The young cat in the acorn armor walks toward her – Hey! Applejack! –
-Hey there! – Applejack answer his greeting
- I got some news from Nyan Jirou the transporter – Steve start to talk – He says that some black lightings like the one where you fell where fallen in the Forest between the Yukumo Village and the Pokke Village, and Yukumo are near here, about a day or 2 walking from here, so maybe your friends are on those villages by now-
- Really?! YEEEHAAA!! – Applejack screams in joy hearing the news – at least now Ah´ know they are probably are safe now – she hugs firmly Steve in appreciation making him to blush – now Ah´ just need those clothes and we can go after them, oh thank you for that news Steve- after that she starts to work even faster, surpassing the cats with their chores at the fields – C´mon every pony! We have some work to do! – Steve stands near her still blushing and admiring the powerful spirit of the stranger.
The Chief walks behind Steve and both looks at the fields and how Applejack works – So, What else did Nyan Jirou tell you? – He asked Steve.
- Huh? Erh well… - Steve was caught off guard by the Chief, and after calm a bit he answer – He told me that there were some hunters that also disappeared with some Wyverns from the same zone, some of the eyewitness also says that an unusual event happened that day at the top of the mountain, some of the most powerful elder dragons were seen together and since then some aggressive monsters became more powerful and those who wasn´t so dangerous became docile - He then sat on the ground thinking on the situation – sigh, if everything goes like this maybe a huge catastrophe will happen soon, and she with her friends must be the key to prevent it –
- I see- the Chief says – maybe she was right after all, the faster she finds her friends and go back to wherever she came from, the better for all of us- then the chief put a pawn over Steve´s shoulder – but that’s not an excuse for doing somethin stupid, promise me that you´ll don’t do anything risky out there, I don’t want to bury another of my beloved sons-
- I promise that Father- Steve answers holding his father´s pawn.
At the entrance of the cave an impatient Pinkie was waiting for Al – C´mon Al, let move! C´mon! – The pink haired girl was shouting.
- Ok, Ok I´m going – Al comes out from the cave wearing his armor and his switch-axe, a strange looking axe which can be changed into a sword and vice versa. – And the village will not run away, so calm down a bit –
- The village? - Pinkie asked – I thought that you´ll gonna help me to find my friends? –
- And I will, but first we need to know where to start to search for them, and the village is a perfect place to start to find some clues for where they could be- Al answered while he and Pinkie starts to walk in the forest.
- Oh yeah, you´re right – Pinkie giggles – Silly me – and they continue walking through the forest talking and laughing all the way.

Chapter 5: The Test
In the Kitchen at Pokke Village, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Spike where taking their breakfast, Jasmine and Daigo where packing some food while Kayrin was looking out a window, still upset at something, making the atmosphere feel uneasy.
*The provisions are ready mistress* Jasmine tells to Kayrin, who nodded back and walks toward the others.
*Well ladies, this is the situation* Kayrin starts to talk to them in a serious tone * in order to go and search for your friends you must become official hunters of the guild, something that usually takes years of training and killing low rank beast*
*But we don’t have “years”, we must go now! * Rainbow Dash replies angry about those news but Kayrin continues.
*I know you don’t have time for that training, and even the Guild think that you must return from where you came as soon as possible*
* Really? , and why is that? * Twilight ask
*Apparently not only my friends disappeared on that event that brings you here, but also some wyverns and other monsters disappeared, and also some of your friends where seen recently* Kayrin answered
* Our friends were seen? Where? , you must tell us! * Twilight and Rainbow dash ask desperate to know about their friends but Kayrin stare at them silent until the both pony-girls calms.
*I will, for now the only thing you must know is that they are fine, at least that’s the information that Nyan Jirou brings to the Guild office this morning, but that’s not the what I was going to tell you*
*Then what is it? * Rainbow ask
Kayrin sat down and continue with her speech * as I said, I order to go to search your friends you must become Hunters, and the Guild decided to test your skills in a drill combat*
*WHAT?! * Both girls yells but only twilight continue * b-but we barely know how to use the weapons, not to mention to fight with them*
*the experience is the best teacher nya* suddenly Daigo interrupts them * remember that to fight is more instinct and reaction than thinking, so I guess this will test your natural skills to survive, that is the most important skill that any hunter has nya*
*Exactly* Kayrin continue speaking after Daigo * and after you become hunters will be your mission to rescue your friends and bring them to safety to any village or city affiliated to the hunters guild*
*Well t-those are good news… I guess* Twilight says nervous
*But why you were so angry?* Rainbow Dash ask, noticing that Kayrin´s face change into a fury expression.
*I don’t want to talk about it…* Kayrin answers and hits the table with her fist, making it to break around her fist and making Rainbow to fear for her life for a minute.
*S-So... when this test will be perform?* Twilight ask nervously
*Right now* Kayrin answers and get up *so hurry up, take your weapons and your supplies, we´re leaving to the arena, after you two pass the test the guild will tell you where your friends where spotted, so you can choose where to start looking* Both girls nodded and start to get ready to leave, taking their weapons and backpacks. Spike climb to Twilight´s backpack all the crew left the house to the arena.
Meanwhile on the Felyne Village, Applejack were trying on herself an acorn armor, similar to the one that Steve wears but adapted to her body shape.
*This… this is very uncomfortable, are ya sure this will protect meh from any arm?* Applejack replies stretching her body to get used to the armor, while other cats ties and put on her body other armor parts.
*Is the best we can do with the materials we can get* the Chief answers * also we don’t have much time to do a master piece young girl*
Steve approach with something like a big fang tied firmly to a stick. *here, this will be your weapon while we arrive to Yukumo*
Applejack looks at it uneasy *really…* she looks at it and the one that Steve has at his back *well… its better than nothing´ ah guess*
*Well Young lady, Steve will teach you how to use it properly the next days, and don’t worry, as feeble at it looks, that kind of weapon has taken down even the mighty Rathalos* the Chief walks to his house laughing
*and what in the name of Celestia is a Rathalos?* Applejack was left there confused
At the Forest near a river, Fluttershy and her bear were fishing, she wasn’t too happy doing that but she understands that the bears eat fishes so she was there helping it. At the other side of the river she saw a really big horned creature with a club like tail eating a tree, while some big and fat birds walks around eating some grass near of it. She was marveled looking at all the creatures on the forest, all kind of creatures she never meet before in Equestria, wondering if her pets are fine without her.
Suddenly she hears the sound of a wooden kart near, she and the bear hides in a near tree while the sounds fades away. When she though it was safe to go out she climbs the tree to try to see where the kart go, from the top of the tree she sees a dirt road which goes into the forest and not so far from there she can see white smoke and some kind of a building, too far to know what it was. She gets down and rides the bear toward the building, walking on the side of the road but being careful to not be seen by any other hunter.
At the Arena, near the Pokke village. Twilight and Rainbow Dash were being instructed by the arena chief.
*Ok ladies, this will be your test to become hunters, you´ll only have 1 chance to pass this test. Your objective is to hunt a Bulldrome. Capture it, Kill it or survive all the 50 minutes in there with it, either way you´ll pass the test* The Instructor say
*S-Survive?* both girls ask nervously
*HA-HA… don’t worry, it’s just an expression we have, we will take you out of there at first sight of danger for you two* He laughs and continue with the drill * ´cause this is an special occasion for you two, you can keep the armor you choose from here until your mission is completed and you can use the weapons you already bring with you. If you´re lucky to still be conscious after this you´ll see a true death match with a dangerous wyvern that you might encounter outside on the wild*
Both girls looks nervous each other at the “cheerful” words of the instructor. Spike was with Daigo also being instructed by him. *Remember Dragon boy, your work is to assist them, you might have experience with assisting but this time their lives are at your paws, blow into this green battle horn to heal them, and into this yellow one to distract the monster, don’t confuse them or else you might be in real danger ok. The armor I borrowed you might be enough to keep you safe but it’s not a guarantee, understand that nya?* Spike only nods putting the horns in the little backpack Daigo borrow him.
A few moments later Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Spike where entering the Arena. A huge dusty place with no exit than being helped from the outside. Many thorns and wooden spikes where on the walls and some seats in the top of the walls where other hunters are looking at them, some of them were Inspectors from the Guild.
*Ok this is it, we must survive the 50 minutes here, only 50 minutes* Twilight sais worried about their own safety, with her bow unsheathed and ready to fire at any moment.
*we can also kill the beast to finish this quickly remember* Rainbow Dash say to Twilight. She has her double sword also unsheathed and ready.
*yes we can. But are you ready to kill another living thing?* Twilight ask, but before Rainbow can answer her a door just in front of them starts to open, the sounds of a wild beast can be heard from it as its opens.
*well, we are about to find it out* Rainbow Dash answers, looking at the door, Twilight charge an arrow and aims to whatever can be inside the door, Spike was ready too but almost hiding behind Twilight.
From the door a huge wild boar with large tusk charges at them, Twilight release her arrow missing the wild boar by inches. Rainbow and Twilight were barely able to evade its charge while Spike run away from him screaming and paniced.
*Spike!* Twilight screams as she gets ready another arrow while Rainbow starts to pursuit the beast. Spike was able to evade the charge and made the beast to impact on the wall, leaving it open to attacks. Rainbow tries to strikes the beast with the swords but at the last moment she wasn’t able to hurt it. Something makes her to stop, the beast recovered from the hit on the wall and immediately attack Rainbow, sending her flying.
The beast was about to charge again but an arrow of Twilight impacts it on the side making him to trip. Rainbow Dash stands up again with just a scratch on her face. *Ouch... * Rainbow said to herself, noticing that the armor nullified almost all the damage *so this is why they can take on those monsters, these armors are really something* she thought to herself. *Rainbow!! Are you OK!* Twilight asks her while she runs around the beast evading its charges and firing arrows to distract it.
*Yeah I’m fine!* the answered while she again runs towards the beast *even if we don’t attack it will kill us, we must attack and evade, its him or us* Rainbow thought to herself while finally slashing the beast with her swords while evades other charges of it *that’s a cruel truth we must face here* Twilight and Rainbow Dash fights the beast for almost all the given time. Both of them being hit by the beast sometimes but without surrender.
Spike, looking at the braveness of her friends decides to go out and help too; looking inside its backpack he founds a trap that Daigo gives before the test. *Remember, your job is to assist them, even if you need to risk your life* Spike remember the words of Daigo and start to run toward the monster that was busy trying to hit Rainbow Dash.
He puts the trap just behind the beast and taking out the yellow hunting horn he blows in it, making a trumpet noise that attracts the beast attention. The beast almost immediately charges towards him and stepped on the trap which paralyzed it. Rainbow and Twilight takes the chance to attack it and almost killing it, but again they stop before giving the final blow. The crowd of other hunters who were watching them start to yell at them to kill it, but both of them where there, just standing in front of the beast which was too weak to get free from the trap. Suddenly a trumpet sound was heard, which marks the end of the time. Both girls and Spike, exhausted, were taken out of the arena while the arena chief enters it and kills the wounded beast. Twilight and Rainbow Dash just look at that horrible scene trying to understand that cruel world to survive it.
At a waiting room, outside the arena main office, Twilight, Rainbow Dash and Spike were waiting for the verdict of the arena chief; Kayrin was outside with her Felyne comrades at the arena itself. After some time the arena Chief and other people came out of the office with the waited verdict.
*Ok ladies* the Chief start to say *Even when you did not hunt or captured the beast, you were able to survive wisely the 50 minutes of the test, but before we say our verdict there’s some points on your “hunting stile” that you must take care of and improve, if you want to survive a real hunt*
*First.- you must prioritize to evade rather than attack, you did well there but Twilight, sometimes you were to focus on reloading your bow that you were hit while doing it. Be more careful. Second.- you must watch the status of your weapon as you watch also your friend status, Rainbow your swords were dull at the middle of the fight even when you had plenty of whetstones to get it sharp again, and you must try to attract the beast while Twilight were reloading.*
Both girls were looking down, almost predicting that they failed the test. *And finally* the Chief continues *You must kill your prey after that kind of punishment, it’s wise to know when to stop a fight, and noble of you too try to keep it alive, after all it didn’t do anything against you that weren’t out of its nature but… after all, it took to much damage that it barely was alive, you only managed to prolong its suffering. After saying that we, the Guild of the Pokke Village, have the honor to say that you Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Spike, are now officially hunters and Felyne comrade. Take this card as your ID. And as your first mission, go and find your friends, and bring them back safe*. The guild bows at them and then goes to the arena to watch the next battle.
Twilight and Rainbow Dash were silent, unable to believe that they pass the test. *You must see this too, ´cause you might need to know how your guide fights* the Chief invites the girls to the walls of the arena to watch too the next battle. The 3 of them goes with the chief and sits where they can to watch the arena, there was Kayrin and her two Felynes about to fight a big Crab like creature known as Daimio Hermitaur.
Meanwhile, at another part of the forest, Al was teaching Pinkie how to use the Switch axe.
*Ok Pinkie, just like that, swings it up to the ground, then sidewise and then an uppercut* holding the Axe with her, Al moves her arms to make her to familiarize with the weight of the weapon.
*I-Its heavy* Pinky says barely able to hold it. * I-I know I need to know how to use it but…* giving a slash right to the ground
*are not supposed that you would defend me from monsters?*
*And I will defend you, but if I can´t you at least you will be able to fight too, is better for us to be that way don’t you think?* Al answers
*well… I guess you’re right… but this still heavy, as a ton of… something that is too heavy…* Pinky replies as she continues practicing.
