Chapter One : Last Day Of School
Saddlebags on her back, Soul Burst boarded bus 419, her mouth curled into a small, excited smile
as she sat next to a young, yellow unicorn filly with a brown mane and tail, and bright blue eyes.
The little filly went by the name Ari.
"Wazzup, Ari!" Soul said, smiling brightly to the young filly, rubbing Ari's head with her hoof. Ari giggled,
pushing the hoof away with her own. "I'm good, what about you, Soul?"
"Brilliant. The last day of school, music playing as the bus leaves, bubbles floating all 'round the school, my best filly friend ever sitting next to me on the bus, what's more to ask, you silly little filly!" Soul smirked, leaving back in her seat.
"Oh! Oh! Soul, look what I made in art class! They said we had to finish them today,
or else we'd have to finish them at home, but I was quick enough, and I finished before the entire class!"
The filly shuffled through her saddlebags, pulling out a large piece of paper,
and drawn on it in bright colors was a bright yellow-green background, with Ari's and Soul's faces on it. "...It's amazing, Ari!" She said, wrapping her hooves around the grinning unicorn filly as the bus skid to a stop.
"Well, bye Ari! I hope I'll see you once you reach Middle School too!" Soul said, gently putting the paper into her saddlebags and leaping off the bus, sighing happily to herself.
"The end of school....What a thrill. I can't wait to see what my parents have planned for summer... Oh.. I really hope we go to Ocean Filly again!" Soul giggled, bouncing her saddlebags as she walked, letting them loosely bounce before tucking her wings
down again to hold them in place, then repeat. Giving a little smirk, closing her eyes, and sticking her tongue out in a cartoon-like manner, Soul twisted and turned her hooves, stepping across the rocky cement pathway. The filly opened her eyes, and smiled, fluttering her wings as she finished the last rock-hop to her doorway.
Pushing the door open with a hoof, the filly smiled, and pulled in a breath as she was tackled by a excited pegasus filly with a bubble-gum pink mane in a messy braid, a cream-colored coat, and energetic hazel eyes.
"Hiya sis! Wanna play? Do ya? Do ya?" The filly bounced about, her eyes gleaming with joy.
"Okay, okay, Jani. What do you want to play, hm?" The filly giggled, tapping her younger sister's nose with her hoof. Jani giggled, bouncing atop her sister's head.
"I wanna play Sister Boat! Sister Boat, Soul!!!" Soul rolled her eyes, but chuckled, as if to confirm that this is the game of choice.
Soul fluttered her wings, making them seem to buzz like a bee's wings, and hovered off the ground, slowly, but smoothly,
flying around the room as Jani sat atop her head, her hooves gripping Soul's mane.
"Faster, sis! Faster!" Soul smirked, tossing her bright red mane out of her face.
"Hold on tight, little sis!"
Speed picked up, and Jani's mane whipped behind her, flowing in the wind.
"Wheeee!!!" What they didn't see though, was the giant tower of pillows that had been place on the other side of the room..
FLOWMPH!
In a flash, Soul and Jani peeked their heads out of the pillow-pile, giggling.
"Soul?"
Soul peeked her head up, smiling.
"Yeah dad?" The filly chuckled, throwing a pillow off her left wing.
"We're moving, okay?" The filly smiled.
"Kay, dad!" The filly dove into the pillows, chasing her sister through the maze of fluffy-white objects.
"Fluffy fiiight!" came a scream from inside the mass of pillows, and one came flying out, hitting Soul square in the face.
"Oof!" Soul cringed, then smirked playfully, lifting her wings.
"Oh it is so on!!"
Pillow cannons, pillow launchers, pillow catapults, they had all they needed for the perfect,
full-on, pillow fight.
Feathers were flying, pillows were everywhere, and giggles rang through the room.
Before anyone knew what happened, everything stopped, Soul and Jani were panting, and apple juice and sandwiches were being served and devoured all at once. One quiet, peaceful moment in the house that once held chaotic pillow-throwing and the sounds of pillow-cannons being set off.
Yep. Definitely a house of many unexplained things.

Soulburst flipped open her laptop, using her hooves to go to a website called 'VinylCloud', and putting on a song. The current one playing was 'Good Flight' by 'Pegasi City'. Soulburst hummed along, laying back on her bed, fixing her green-blue bow-tie, and putting her hooves behind her head, staring up at the ceiling. Shuffling her wings, Soul got up, lifted her wings, and fluttered them a bit, hovering around her room. Imitating that of a bird, she hovered about the room, doing various back-flips, front-flips, and twists and turns throughout the song, singing along as she flew, a smug smile upon her face.
As the song ended and the next one started, the filly spread out her wings, letting herself glide to the top of her bed, softly touching all four hooves back onto the mattress before curling up and pulling the blanket over her, sighing peacefully.
Snuggling under the covers, Soul let herself fall asleep....

"I declare a time war!"
Five...Six....Seven...Eight.
Daleks scream "EXTERMINATE!!!"
Nine...Ten...Eleven...Twelve.
The Doctor dies... "And Silence fell..."
Twelve...Eleven...Ten...Nine.
"There the goes, back in time.."
Eight...Seven...Six...Five.
"Saving everybody's lives.."
Four...Three...Two...One.
Grab her hand and whisper....
"Run."
