Snoozing away underneath a tree was Amity, a young unicorn who was created by the Tree of Harmony. Her flank empty and her purpose unknown to her, Amity enters a secret clan that calls themselves Midnight Sapphires. She is forced to care for herself and study the clan to find ways to survive. As years pass by, Amity finds herself enjoying the company of timberwolves and finding the secret pathways of the Everfree forest. Life was peaceful until the clan she was loosely a part of turns on her when her cutie mark appears.
