Squarepants are Magic

Princess Celestia was standing outside on her balcony. Everything was peaceful, but Celestia couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was wrong. All of a sudden, dark clouds loomed over Equestria. Princess Celestia looked confused at first, but then shrugged it off. She then heard the voice of her sister, Princess Luna.

“Celestia!” said Luna, frantically running up to her. “Celestia!”

“Dear sister, what is it?” asked Celestia, concerned.

“We have trouble.” Said Luna.

Later, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were with the guards.
“We’ve searched everywhere, Your Highness.” Said one of the guards. “He’s nowhere to be found.”

“Keep searching!” said Celestia. “Let no guard sleep until he’s brought back here.”
“Yes, your highness.” Said the guard as he and the other guards continued their search. 

Celestia looked down.

“Is something troubling thou?” said Luna.

“I just have no idea what to do now.” Said Celestia. “I can’t believe this is happening.”

“No idea what to do now, hmm?” said a voice. “I might have some ideas,”

Celestia and Luna turned around and saw some kind of shadowed figure.

“You!” said Celestia in anger.

“How did thee get this sort of magic?” Luna demanded.

“It is of no concern of yours,” said the figure. “All that matters is that I now have powers, more than you can possibly imagine.”

“Cease this at once!” Celestia commanded. “There must be something we can do about this!”

“Sorry, but for too long, everypony has shunned me,” The figure said as his hand began to glow. “But no more,” The figure cackled as he then fired his blast as Celestia.

Celestia woke up in her bed in a cold sweat.

“Celestia,” said Luna, peeking in Celestia’s bedroom and walking over to her. “Is something wrong? I heard thou talking in thy sleep.”

Celestia sighed in relief. “It was only a nightmare, Luna.” Said Celestia, smiling. She then looked out her balcony. “But I’m afraid that now is the time.”

“The time?” asked Luna.

“Yes,” said Celestia. “The fears I was having are now starting to come true.” She turned to Luna. “Remind me in the morning to have the guards send a letter to Twilight Sparkle.”

“I will take care of that, dear sister.” Said Luna. “Hopes that you will sleep well.”

“Thank you,” said Celestia as Luna left.
Celestia laid her head on the pillow, planning what may happen the following day before sleep claimed her.





The sun rose up in Ponyville, and inside Ponyville’s Library, Princess Celestia's most faithful student, Twilight Sparkle was just waking up from her sleep. She then stretched and yawned, smiling like any other day.

“It’s a beautiful day,” said Twilight. “Isn’t it, Spike?” Twilight looked down to her baby dragon assistant, Spike, sleeping in his little basket. Twilight smiled warmly at Spike. He looked so peaceful sleeping.

“Come on, Spike.” Said Twilight. “It’s time to wake up!”

Spike didn’t hear Twilight as he continued sleeping.

Twilight then had a mischievous look in her eye. “You better get up soon, or the tickle monster’s gonna get ya!” Twilight then began to tickle Spike. Spike then started laughing in his sleep.

“Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Come on! Quit it, Rarity!” laughed Spike.

Twilight looked confused as she stopped tickling. “Rarity?” Twilight asked.

“Twilight?” Spike yelped as he instantly woke up. “Uh, hi, Twilight!” Spike said as he quickly hugged Twilight like he did every morning. “Nice weather we’re having, huh?” Spike quickly hurried downstairs as Twilight rolled her eyes and giggled. She then walked downstairs as Spike was dusting the library. Twilight then noticed the picture of her, Spike as well as the rest of Twilight's friends, including the honest Applejack, the loyal yet radical Rainbow Dash, the generous yet dramatic Rarity, the kind-hearted Fluttershy and the happy-go-lucky pony of laughter, Pinkie Pie. Twilight couldn't help but sigh.

"What art thou sighing about, m'lady?" Spike asked, jokingly while continuing to dust.

"I was just thinking about the first time we went to Ponyville. Twilight replied. "I first didn't think that making friends would be the best idea, but here I am, having the time of my life almost everyday."

"Yeah," Spike said, pulling a very dirty book out to clean. "It doesn't get any better then this."

But all of a sudden, tentacles popped out of the book and grabbed Spike's head. "Hey!" Spike yelled through muffling.

Twilight gasped when she saw Spike in trouble. "Hold on!" Twilight called as she grabbed the book. "I got you!"

Twilight quickly yanked the book of Spike's head. "Are you okay, Spike?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah," Spike said as Twilight helped him up. "But what in the hay was that about?"

"What the hay indeed?" said a low voice. Then out of the book popped out some kind of chaotic creature Twilight knew too well.

"Discord!" Twilight said, annoyed.

"Master of Chaos, guilty!" Discord finished with a smirk. Discord as mentioned, was once the evil lord of Chaos, once ruled Equestria in his palms, but now, thanks to Fluttershy's kindness, he was on good terms with the pony folk and is determined to change his ways...even if it was taking time.

"So, what brings you here?" Twilight asked while putting the books away.

"Oh, I was just getting ready for my vacation, sometimes messing around with you time to time can get so exhausting..." Discord replied as he pulled Twilight's cheeks and pretended to faint on her, much to her annoyance. "And I was looking through your books to see if I could find one on the ocean so I know what I'm prepared for."

"It's over there," Twilight answered, pointing to a shelf of books on the ocean. Discord hopped over to the shelf and pulled out a book.

"Oooh! This is just what I need. Well, ta-ta!" Discord said, as it looked like he was going to jump through the floor, but he jumped through it literally with a splash. Discord popped his head out again as he tossed a book to Twilight. "Also, spoilers!" Discord laughed. "She gets dumped."

Twilight's jaw dropped in shock and anger as Discord disappeared with a taunting laugh. Twilight took a deep breath. "Give it time, give it time." Twilight muttered.

She then all of a sudden heard a flaming burp. She knew what that meant, it was a message.

Twilight walked over to Spike. “Who is the message from, Spike?” Twilight asked. Spike looked at the letter. “It’s a message from Princess Celestia.” Said Spike as he handed the letter to Twilight.

Twilight looked at the letter and read.

“Dear, Twilight Sparkle, I would like you and Spike to come to Canterlot as soon as possible. There is something we must discuss.”

Twilight looked at the letter a bit concerned. “Well, Spike,” said Twilight. “It looks like we’re going to Canterlot.”

Twilight Sparkle along with Spike soon got on the next train to Canterlot.

“So why do you think the Princess needs us, Twilight?” asked Spike.

“I don’t know, Spike.” Said Twilight. “But I hope it isn’t anything bad.”





Twilight and Spike soon made it to the city of Canterlot. It looked peaceful as always, but now was not the time to admire Canterlot, for things had to be discussed.

Twilight soon arrived in the castle along with Spike as they met up with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

“Hello, Twilight. It’s good that you’re here.” said Celestia as she nuzzled her student.

“Thank you, Celestia.” Twilight nodded. She turned and saw Luna hugging Spike and playfully ruffling his scales, making him laugh. Twilight smiled at the sight. Luna was getting closer to everypony since she reformed and letting out more of her playful side, and seeing her do that with Spike was even more precious. But she quickly turned her attention to Celestia. "So, what's going on?"

Celestia looked over at her balcony, looking a little worried.

“Is something wrong?” Twilight asked.

"Well, you know Discord has recently been reformed, right?" Celestia asked.

"Noticed," Twilight muttered under her breath.

“Well, I had a vision.” Said Celestia as she looked at Twilight. “It involves…Discord’s brother.”

Twilight’s eyes widened in fear as Spike’s jaw dropped.

“D-discord’s brother?” Twilight stammered in fear. “How is that possible?”

“It goes back when me and my sister defeated Discord.” Said Luna. "And after I was banished onto the moon."

“That’s right.” Said Celestia. “When I found him, he didn’t show any signs of power, but he refused to listen to us, seeing how he was related to Discord, we had no choice than to lock him in an underground dungeon, and that’s where he stayed ever since, not a word was spoken from him for years.”

“But what about Discord?” Spike asked. “He’s reformed now, can’t he do something?”

“He tried shortly after being reformed,” said Celestia. “But Strife wouldn’t turn or speak to him. Discord doesn't really like to talk about him. I just don’t know what’s going through Strife’s mind, but whatever it is; it’s not going to be good. I don't even think the Elements of Harmony could stop him.”

“So, what can we do?” Twilight asked, looking up to her mentor.

"Well," said Celestia, smiling at Twilight. "You've been a wonderful student, Twilight. I think that it's time you aquire an apprentice."

Twilight was startled. "An apprentice?" asked Twilight. "For me?"

“Yes, and for the last few months, I know the one being that's just right for you to train.” Said Celestia. “But now, I believe is the time to summon him. Luna?”

“I’m ready, dear sister.” Said Luna. Celestia and Luna then touched their horns with each other as a bright light shined through both of them. Twilight and Spike both watched this with awe.





Meanwhile, inside the pineapple home of one SpongeBob Squarepants, his alarm clock was almost ready to go off. It then struck 6:00 as his foghorn alarm went off. SpongeBob immediately woke up with a scream.

"No!" SpongeBob yelled. "I don't wanna go back in the wringer! Not the wringer!"

SpongeBob quickly looked around and sighed. "It was only a dream." SpongeBob then looked down to his pet snail, Gary.

“Gary,” SpongeBob said Gary. “I think you should call the doctor, ‘cause I feel so good I think it’s contagious! Woo-hoo!”

“Meow,” said Gary.

“You said it, Gary!” said SpongeBob. “Another day of the sunshine, another day of the blue sky, and another day of being ready!”

After getting his stuff together, SpongeBob happily ran out the door to the Krusty Krab. “I’m ready! I’m ready! I’m ready! I’m ready!” SpongeBob said to himself.

Then a rock opened up to reveal SpongeBob's best starfish friend, Patrick Star. “Go get ‘em, SpongeBob!”  Said Patrick before he accidentally fell in his house.

Yes, things are usually peaceful with SpongeBob Squarepants, with his other friends, including his grouchy neighbor Squidward Tentacles, the undersea Texas squirrel Sandy Cheeks and his money-loving but good-hearted boss, Mr. Krabs. 

But on this day, SpongeBob didn't know that someone was up to no good. Plankton from the Chum Bucket, Mr. Krabs' very tiny business rival and arch-enemy.

Inside the Chum Bucket, Plankton was putting on a little puppet show.

"'Hello! I'm Mr. Krabs. What a beautiful day to count money when I could be sharing it!" Plankton started, imitating Mr. Krabs. "And I'm SpongeBob! I love everything except Plankton, he can go out of business for all I care!" Plankton continued, imitating SpongeBob. "Wait, he already has! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!"

Plankton grinned. "But all that is going to change!!! Karen! Lasers!"

Karen, Plankton's computer wife, had a laser installed and vaporized the Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob puppets.

"How was that?" Karen asked.

"Hmm," Plankton said, looking at the puppets. "Not bad, but needs more acid. And a dinosaur army. DEFINITELY a dinosaur army."

"Still holding onto that idea, huh?" Karen snarked. 

"What? It was a very lousy defeat, I was angry and-and it was a pleasantly malicious thought that just stuck!" Plankton spoke. "But now it's time to make one fantasy a reality at a time!"

Plankton leaped up on a ladder and pulled out a telescope, in it, he could see SpongeBob running to the Krusty Krab.

“Going to the Krusty Krab are we?" Plankton laughed. "Well, don’t worry, we BOTH are!” 

“Plankton,” said his computer wife, Karen. “What ‘evil plan’ that is obviously going to fail are you up to?”

“I’m glad you asked, Karen.” Plankton said, grinning evilly. “If I can hide myself inside Square-Bob, I’ll get into the Krusty Krab and the Krabby Patty formula will finally be mine! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!”

“Oh, that will end well.” Said Karen, sarcastically.

“You’ll see, Karen.” Said Plankton as he got inside of a cannon. “Be sure to fire and aim!”

“Whatever,” said Karen. She then started to aim at SpongeBob through the window.

“Ready…aim…Fire!” Plankton commanded.

Karen then pulled the string for Plankton to go flying towards SpongeBob…only for him to hit the window that wasn’t open.

“Karen!” Plankton said, annoyed.

“Oops,” said Karen.

“Just make sure the window’s open this time!” said Plankton.

“Yes, your highness.” Said Karen. Plankton got himself inside the cannon again as Karen aimed for SpongeBob.

“Ready…aim…Fire!” Plankton commanded.

Karen pulled the string for Plankton to go flying towards SpongeBob for real this time…only to have him hit the wall.

“My mistake.” Said Karen.

“Oh, let me do it!” Plankton screamed in anger, not wanting to injure himself again.
Plankton then took the cannon outside and got inside it. “Alright now,” said Plankton, getting situated and aiming at SpongeBob.

“Ready…aim…Fire!” Plankton yelled as he pulled the string for him to officially get inside SpongeBob’s head now, no joke, for absolute real…only to have him hit the top of the restaurant. Plankton then accidentally slid off the Krusty Krab only to land in one of SpongeBob’s holes.

Plankton then dusted himself as he then realized where he was. “I did it!” Plankton said to himself. “I’m inside the sponge-kid! My plan so far is a success! The Krabby Patty formula is as good as mine!”

SpongeBob walked inside the Krusty Krab, still feeling giddy as ever. He then spotted Squidward working at the cash register.

“Howdy-doo, Squidward!” SpongeBob said before going inside the kitchen. “Have any pleasant dreams last night?”

“Oh, yes,” Squidward said as SpongeBob walked in the kitchen before he finished. “You weren’t in them.”

SpongeBob was getting situated in the kitchen as Plankton was snickering to himself. “All I have to do now is see how SpongeBob prepares a Krabby Patty and I’m in the clear, baby!”

But then, something around SpongeBob began to glow. “Huh?” Plankton said. “What’s this?”

SpongeBob also noticed he was glowing. “Uh, Squidward?” SpongeBob started to say. “Squidward, I think-“ SpongeBob didn’t finish as he disappeared in a flash of light and magic dust with Plankton still inside him.





Back in Equestria, the bright light continued shining in the throne room from Celestia and Luna’s horns. Twilight and Spike were continuing to watch as the light started to dimmer as well as lower to the floor. The light fully dimmed down as Twilight, Spike, Celestia and Luna finally saw the figure before them.

SpongeBob then started to shake himself off a bit. “Whoa,” said SpongeBob. “That was a little weird, I mean where did tha-” SpongeBob stopped when he looked and saw where he was. He noticed the two alicorns, unicorn and baby dragon looking at him.

“AAAAUGH!” SpongeBob screamed, jumping back. “Wha-wha-what’s going on?! Don’t eat me!”

Celestia walked towards him smiling. “Relax,” Celestia said, giggling. “We’re not going to harm you. But, we do need you for something.”

“Okay, SpongeBob, calm down.” said SpongeBob to himself. “Try to relax, try to relax. Ah-ha! This is a dream! I now know what I have to do! Close my eyes and this will all go away.”

SpongeBob closed his eyes for a few seconds and opened them up again, and saw that he was back in the Krusty Krab. “It-it worked!” said SpongeBob. “I’m back in the Krusty Krab!”

Mr. Krabs then opened the kitchen door. “SpongeBob!” He said. “What’s holding them up those patties?”

“Oh, I’ll get right to it, Mr. Krabs!” SpongeBob said, happily. “But for some reason I had this strange dream being surrounded by colorful ponies.”

“What are you talking about?” said Mr. Krabs. “That was no dream, boy, THIS is the dream!”

“Wha-?” SpongeBob asked in confusion.

“Hey buddy, are you okay?” Spike asked popping up in front of him. The kitchen then changed into the throne room. SpongeBob screamed in horror as he jumped up and held onto one of the pillars.

“It’s alright, young one.” Celestia called from below the pillar. “You don’t need to worry, please come down.”

SpongeBob looked down at the Princesses and Spike. “Alright,” SpongeBob stammered. He slowly slid down from the pillar. “So, what’s going on, here?”

“I will explain momentarily,” said Celestia. “Right now, I must feel we should introduce ourselves. I am Princess Celestia and-” Celestia was cut off by seeing the sight of SpongeBob who bowed before her. 

“I apologize, your highness.” said SpongeBob, looking up. “I didn’t know you were royalty.”

“That’s quite alright,” Celestia giggled. “This is my sister, Luna, and this is Twilight Sparkle.”

Twilight walked towards SpongeBob, she was stunned, she never saw a creature like SpongeBob before. But she shook that thought off and held her hoof out to shake.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr….” said Twilight, still confused.

“Squarepants is the name, SpongeBob Squarepants!” SpongeBob said smiling as he and Twilight shook hands/hooves. Twilight, still looking weirded out by SpongeBob’s appearance introduced her assistant. “And this is Spike,” said Twilight.

“Hey, sorry I scared ya.” said Spike as he and SpongeBob shook hands/claws.

“No biggie, I can get scared easily.” said SpongeBob, grinning.

“Now, I feel we must discuss why you are here.” said Celestia. She, Luna, Twilight and Spike walked down the hallway as SpongeBob followed from behind.

However, nopony noticed that Plankton climbed out of one of SpongeBob’s holes. 

“Oh, man!” said Plankton. “What happened here?” 

Plankton looked behind and saw SpongeBob walking with the princesses. Plankton’s eye widened. 

“Who the Davey-?” said Plankton in confusion. He quietly followed them out of the throne room and upstairs to the balcony.

“We have summoned you here for a purpose.” said Celestia. “There is some sort of evil force that is determined to take over our land. A creature by the name of Strife may be planning the downfall of our world, but I have sensed that you are the one who can help us against Strife.”

SpongeBob looked over the balcony, and had a determined look on his face. “Okay,” said SpongeBob. “I will do what I can to help.”

“I am glad you accept.” said Celestia. She then used her magic to levitate a book and wand to SpongeBob.

“This wand is filled with magic, you must learn how to control it with this book.” said Celestia.

“Wow,” SpongeBob said, gazing at the wand and book. “This is pretty swell. But, uh, am I going to get a teacher or someone?”

“Yes,” Celestia nodded. “Twilight Sparkle will teach you.”

“Alrighty then!” said SpongeBob as he stood next to Twilight, smiling. Twilight however, still looked concerned.

“You will teach SpongeBob everything he has to know of magic, right?” Celestia asked Twilight.

Twilight looked at the floor at first, but then looked up at Celestia. “I will.” said Twilight.

“Good,” said Celestia as she and Luna bowed. “Now me and Luna must bid you farewell for now.”

“Thank you,” said Twilight, as she bowed too, followed by Spike and SpongeBob. She then walked out of the castle, with Spike and SpongeBob with her.

"Wait," said SpongeBob. "Is this air?"

"Yeah," Spike said.

"Well, how can I breath out of water?" SpongeBob asked.

Spike thought for a second. "I don't know," Spike shrugged. "Magic, I guess."





Plankton had saw and heard the whole thing. “So, SpongeBob has to defeat some evil creature that threatens this whole world?” Plankton asked himself. Plankton then flipped out. “Oh, come on! That stupid square thing has to come in and ruin every villain’s chances for glory!” 

Plankton then realized something. “Wait, wait a second here, this is perfect! That kid is my ultimate ticket to power!” Plankton watched SpongeBob walking with Twilight and Spike. “He may be able to keep me from a recipe to a burger, but keeping a whole other world safe from destruction, he’ll be flatter than a frying pan!” Plankton laughed to himself. “Once I get Strife on my side, the formula will be all mine!" Plankton continued to laugh evilly, until he got stepped on by a pony. Once Plankton tried to get up, he continued to get stepped on numerous times.

"Well, since this place also doesn't respect the little guys, it will too feel my wrath!" Plankton yelled out. "What else does this town have that is deserving of pain?"

"Mary Weather!" called a male voice. "Mary Weather!" The voice belonged to a stallion who was carrying flowers.

"Yes, Blue Eyes?" asked a beautiful mare by the name of Mary Weather.

"I brought you these flowers, they match your eyes," said Blue Eyes.

"Oh, Blue Eyes," Mary Weather spoke in a loving voice.

"Mary Weather," Blue Eyes whispered.

Plankton was watching all of this, and he started to sweat.

"In fact," Blue Eyes spoke. "This day gets better!" Blue Eyes pulled a box from behind his back and knelt down to Mary Weather, while Plankton started to gag and wheeze.

"Will you...marry me?" Blue Eyes asked as he opened the box revealing a diamond ring. Mary Weather gasped in surprise, while everypony went "Awwwwwww,"

"Yes! Yes, I will marry you, Blue Eyes!" Mary Weather shouted in happiness.

"Mary Weather!" Blue Eyes shouted, happily.

"Blue Eyes!" Mary Weather also shouted.

"Mary Weather!" Blue Eyes shouted again.

"Blue Eyes!" Mary Weather shouted once more.

Plankton was speechless at what he saw.

Three Minutes Later...

Once Plankton was almost done throwing up in a nearby river, he spoke weakly before throwing up again. "This place...needs to burn..."





Meanwhile, SpongeBob was still walking with Twilight and Spike. 

“Hey, Spike?” SpongeBob asked as he got Spike’s attention. “I want to apologize of being scared of you at first.”

“Ah, forget it.” said Spike, smirking as SpongeBob smiled.

“So, is Equestria a very safe place to be?” asked SpongeBob.

“Well...sort of...if you leave out the forest that’s inhabited with dangerous monsters.”

“Oh,” said SpongeBob as his eyes widened.

“But don’t worry, with me, Twilight and the rest of our friends, you’ll be well out of harm’s way.” said Spike.

“Ooh!” SpongeBob said. “Well, I can’t wait to meet your friends! Maybe we could do stuff together.”

“Well, you can do some stuff with our friends,” said Twilight. “But you have to remember what you’re really here for.”

“Oh, right.” SpongeBob remembered. “Stopping an evil creature from ending the world as we know it. Whoo, don’t know how that slipped my mind.”

“That’s right,” said Twilight as the three of them got on a train. “So this is something you have to take seriously.”

“Oh, come on, Twilight.” said Spike as they sat down. “SpongeBob just got here, let’s have him get settled here and get to know him better.” Spike looked towards SpongeBob. “So…” said Spike.

“So…?” asked SpongeBob.

“...How does life treat you?” asked Spike.

“Well…” SpongeBob started to say.

A Half-Hour Later…

The train then made a stop in Ponyville.

“And that is what my life is like!” SpongeBob finished. Twilight was fast asleep and Spike’s eyes were still open, yet a little bloodshot.

“Wow,” said Spike. “That...that’s something. What do you think, Twilight?”

Twilight woke up from a snore. “Huh?” Twilight asked, rubbing her eyes. “Oh, yeah, sure.”

Sooner or later, Twilight, Spike and SpongeBob were now walking in Ponyville.

“So, what are your friends like here?” asked SpongeBob. “What are they like?”

“Well-" Spike started to say.

All of a sudden, SpongeBob was tackled by what he thought looked like a pink blur. But he saw that it was a friend of Twilight and Spike, Pinkie Pie.

“Would a simple hello be plenty?” Twilight muttered, putting her hoof to her head.

“HithereI’mPinkiePiethereasonIintrouducedmyselfisbecauseIneversawyoubeforebutanywaywhatkindofcreatureareyoubecauseyoudon’tlooklikeaponytomean-” Pinkie Pie started.

“Pinkie!” Twilight put a hoof in Pinkie Pie’s mouth. “Please calm down, I think you’ve scared him!”

“No, Twilight.” said SpongeBob. “It’s alright, I got this.” SpongeBob got up and smiled at Pinkie Pie.

“Hi, I’m SpongeBob Squarepants!” said SpongeBob reaching his hand out.

“Hi, I’m Pinkie Pie!” said Pinkie Pie as they shook hands/hooves. “Did I say that already? Maybe...yeah, I did!”

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Pinkie Pie!” said SpongeBob, smiling.

“So, whatcha doing here?” asked Pinkie Pie, walking around SpongeBob.

“Well, he’s here because I have to train him in magic, we feel that a new evil is threatening Equestria, and Celestia believes that SpongeBob here may be what we need to save our world.” said Twilight.

“Well,” said Pinkie Pie. “Some ponies may say that this is happening because of a new evil is a bad thing, but I wouldn’t mind because we have a new friend! But of course, when we have a new friend, he have to have A PARTY!!!”

“Well, I’m up for a party anyday!” said SpongeBob. “What do you say, Twilight?”

Twilight thought for a second. “Well, I guess one party couldn’t hurt, it could give him a chance to get acquainted with everypony here.”

“WOOOO!!!” yelled SpongeBob and Pinkie Pie.

“But we do have to study soon.” said Twilight.

“No problem, Twilight.” said SpongeBob. “It’s just gonna be a simple welcome party, it won’t even seem really long!”





At the party, which was going on for five hours now, Twilight was at a table half-asleep, but SpongeBob so far was getting along with other friends of Twilight and Spike. 

Twilight was started to fall asleep again until…

“Twilight?” asked a voice.

Twilight instantly woke up and saw Rarity looking at her.

“Oh, hi Rarity.” said Twilight, rubbing her eyes.

“Darling I must tell you, SpongeBob is truly a light of a party!” Rarity said, smiling. "It's a shame Fluttershy and the girls would have to wait to meet him, they're off at the butterfly migration."

“Yeah,” said Twilight. “He is, but I need to get him started in magic as soon as possible.”

“Well, that can wait until tomorrow, let SpongeBob settle down here at first, it isn’t good for a boy like him to get caught up with this so quickly.” said Rarity.

Twilight looked down for a second and nodded, but then looked up again. “Where is SpongeBob anyway?”

“He’s with Rainbow Dash, having a cider contest.” said Rarity.

“Cider contest?” said Twilight.

The ponies all walked towards a table where SpongeBob was sitting across Rainbow Dash. They both had determined looks towards each other. Applejack, had just prepared a lot of cider and placed a few mugs in front of Rainbow Dash and SpongeBob.

“You two ready?” asked Applejack.

“Born ready,” said Rainbow Dash flexing her arms.

“Ready is my middle name,” said SpongeBob, cracking his fingers.

SpongeBob picked up a mug, and had it all swallowed in one gulp, he look towards Rainbow Dash who was waiting for SpongeBob to finish his first, while she finished her first five.

SpongeBob however, smirked. He pulled out a straw with five holes and used to to quickly slurp down five mugs of cider.

Rainbow Dash’s eye twitched, but then she slurped down a whole mug of it in one gulp to keep up with SpongeBob.

A few minutes have passed and Rainbow Dash and SpongeBob both had their heads on the table, both exhausted. But the tie breaker was that they both had one mug of cider left. SpongeBob shuddered as he took the last one. He gulped down the cider, and gave a large belch. He set the mug aside and smirked at Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash looked at her mug with an uneasy look. She took the mug and looked at it. She looked at the cider bubbling and felt like she was going to lose her lunch. She then tossed the cider into the air and fell over with a thud. But while nopony was looking, Pinkie Pie eyed the cider-filled mug, instantly swiped it and started gulping it down.

Applejack looked over Rainbow Dash. “You alright?” She asked.

“Yeah,” said Rainbow Dash getting up and looking at SpongeBob. “You’ve got skills, kid.”

“Th-thanks, Rainbow Dash.” said SpongeBob, getting close to passing out. Twilight and Rarity both walked up to where SpongeBob and Rainbow Dash.

“What happened here?” Twilight asked, worried for SpongeBob.

“Aw, it’s alright Twilight,” Applejack answered, smiling. “It was just that cider competition, that kid’s a real trooper.”

Twilight couldn’t help but giggle at SpongeBob who was half asleep as she then helped him up.

“I think he needs some sleep now,” said Twilight. “We’ve got a long day ahead of us. Thanks for the party, Pinkie Pie.”

“No problem, Twi!” said Pinkie Pie, hanging upside down from a tree.

Twilight then looked over at Spike, who had a lampshade over his head. “Come on, little mister.” Twilight said giggling as she used her magic to put him on her back.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m coming…” said Spike yawning.

“Goodnight, girls.” said Twilight to her friends.

“Goodnight,” said Twilight’s friends.





Later, Twilight was walking home with SpongeBob and Spike. SpongeBob looked over to the library.

“Is that where you two live?” asked SpongeBob.

“Yep,” said Twilight.

“Ooh,” said SpongeBob. “Looks nice.”

“Thank you,” said Twilight.

They walked inside and SpongeBob walked around the library for a bit. “So, where do I sleep?”

“You’ll be sleeping…” said Twilight, tried to think. “On the couch.”

SpongeBob looked at the couch and smiled. “Cool,” SpongeBob said as he jumped on the couch. 

“So, what will we be doing first, Twilight?” asked SpongeBob.

“We will be going into the Everfree Forest to get some kind of special magic we can use to study, so make sure to get a goodnight sleep.” answered Twilight.

“Alrighty then!” said SpongeBob. “G’night,”

“Goodnight, SpongeBob.” Twilight said as she walked upstairs. As Twilight turned the lights out and walked upstairs, SpongeBob looked up at the ceiling and started to think.

SpongeBob looked over and saw Spike about to go upstairs. “Spike?” asked SpongeBob.

“Yeah?” asked Spike.

“Do you really think that I might be the one to save your world? I’m really uncertain that I’m the one to help, I am just a fry cook.”

“Hey, don’t sweat, buddy. Me and Twilight have known Princess Celestia and Princess Luna for a long time.” said Spike. “Celestia is truly one of the best ponies you’d ever known as well as Luna, even though she’s easy to beat in checkers.” Spike added with a smirk. “What I mean is, that they definitely know what they’re doing, and me and Twilight have faith in you, too.”

“You really think so?” asked SpongeBob, smiling.

“I know so,” said Spike as he went upstairs. As SpongeBob watched Spike go upstairs, he started to get some sleep, feeling a bit more relieved. But SpongeBob woke up again. "I sure hope Gary knows how to feed himself."





Meanwhile back in SpongeBob's home, Gary eyed the cupboard in the kitchen. Gary quickly looked around, and then a jetpack popped out of his shell and Gary used it to fly up to the cupboard. Gary grinned at this sight.

The sun began to rise in Bikini Bottom the next morning. Patrick crawled out from under his rock, grinning happily. “Guess who’s ready to say hi everyday?” Patrick then stood in the yard of his house and started to wait for SpongeBob to walk by so he can say ‘hi’ to him, like he does everyday.

A while has passed, so long that Patrick grew a really long grey beard. “Wh-where is he?” wondered Patrick, as his voice started getting elderly. “Di-did he forget? I didn’t see him since I was a wee wippa snappa! Maybe he was eaten! Where are ya, sonny?! WHERE?!”

Squidward looked totally bored by Patrick as he walked by. “Maybe he’s sick,” said Squidward as he walked by on his own way to work.

“Sick!” said Patrick. “Why didn’t I think about that!” Patrick ripped his beard off and ran towards SpongeBob’s house.

“Buddy, are you in there?!” Patrick called in desperation as he knocked on the door. “Don’t be ashamed if you're sick! I'll help fight your sickness to the DEATH!” Patrick said as he the then ran through the door. “SpongeBob, where are ya?” Patrick called as he ran around the house looking for him. Patrick pulled SpongeBob’s bedroom door open as he wore wet gloves. “Don’t worry, SpongeBob, I’m prepared!” Patrick then grew more worried when he saw that SpongeBob wasn’t in the bedroom. 

“SpongeBob, if you’re playing hide and seek with me, it isn’t funny anymore!” Patrick said. “Wait!” He said to himself. “If we were playing hide and seek, he’d tell me! Okay, Patrick. Time to use your brain.”

Inside Patrick’s brain, a whole bunch of little Patricks were inside his brain working on some kind of scientific experiment.

“Amazing,” said one of the Patricks. “We’re accomplishing so much here!”

“Exactly!” said another Patrick. “The giant doesn’t know this kind of society is inside his head! Look! Already my potion this morning was orange, now it's green!”

All the Patricks applauded. "Gentlemen," said one Patrick. "We are making a breakthrough in history."

“Men! Men!” said another Patrick. “He discovered it! He discovered the brain!”

All the Patricks gasped. “THE COVER IS BLOWN! IT’S TIME TO END IT ALL!” screamed one Patrick. 

All the Patricks screamed in horror as they all began jumping out of the brain.

“Quick!” said one Patrick to another. “We have to jump!”

“I can’t!” said the other Patrick. “I have a family!”

“They will be proud!” said the first Patrick. They both screamed as they jumped out of the real Patrick’s brain.

Speaking of which, the real Patrick’s eyes widened as a bright light-bulb flashed above him and fell on his head. 

“SpongeBob’s in trouble!” said Patrick in realization. “HELP! SOMEBODY!” Patrick yelled as he jumped out of the window.

Patrick began running through Bikini Bottom, screaming constantly. “HELP! MY BUDDY’S IN TROUBLE!” He didn’t notice his pants getting stuck on a tree as they ripped off, leaving him naked. “HELP! I NEED HELP!”

“Uh-huh,” said a police officer as he placed a ticket on Patrick’s body and walked away.

“HELP! WILL SOMEBODY ANSWER ME?!” Patrick yelled. He was interrupted by the shaking of the ground. He looked over and saw a huge crowd of people running towards his direction.

“Yes!” said Patrick. “Okay, people. I need one of your help to-AAAAAAAUGH!” screamed Patrick as he was ran over by the people.

Little did Patrick know that the people were running away from a fire from the Krusty Krab. Squidward was just putting the fire out with an extinguisher as SpongeBob and Squidward’s boss, Mr. Krabs looked over the damage.

“What’s happened in here, Mr. Squidward?!” Mr. Krabs demanded.

“Apparently SpongeBob finally did me a favor and completely vanished.” said Squidward as he started chuckling. “He-he, vanished, he-he-he.”

Mr. Krabs growled. “SPONGEBOB! GET OUT HERE!” He yelled. He instantly ran into the kitchen but couldn’t find him. “Where is that little troublemaker?!”

“What part of vanished do you not understand?” asked Squidward.

Mr. Krabs’ eyes widened at that. He instantly pulled out a sign that said ‘Closed until further notice’. “I thought I’d never have to put up this sign!” Mr. Krabs said to himself. “When I get my claws on him, I’ll…” Mr. Krabs then sighed. “No, I don’t know why, but I just don’t have it in me ticker to kick him out, without him, the Krusty Krab sometimes feels too quiet and boring. No offense, Mr. Squidward.”

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that,” said Squidward as he continued cleaning the windows. The doors then burst open, revealing a frantic Patrick. “Mr. Krabs! Mr. Krabs! Mr. Krabs!” Patrick yelled.

“What? What? What?” Mr. Krabs asked, startled.

“SpongeBob! SpongeBob! SpongeBob!” Patrick yelled, waving his arms frantically.

“Yes? Yes? Yes?” Mr. Krabs asked as his eyes widened.

“I can’t! I can’t! I can’t!” Patrick whimpered holding his pants tightly.

“Out with it, already!” Mr. Krabs said, getting impatient.

“SpongeBob’s gone missing!” Patrick said, worried. “I thought he was sick with the flu and I was gonna help fight his sickness to the DEATH!” 

“*Cough*moron,” Squidward coughed under his breath.

“I looked in his house to find him and he’s gone!” said Patrick.

“So, the boy’s gone missing, did he?” said Mr. Krabs. “Well, not while Old Man Krabs is on the job! Make sure your pants are on, Patrick! We’re going to get him back!” 

Mr. Krabs went to the door as Patrick’s pants instantly fell down. “Right!” Patrick said as he pulled his pants back up and followed Mr. Krabs out the door to see if they could find SpongeBob.





Meanwhile, back in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle was now heading towards the Everfree Forest, along with Spike and SpongeBob.

“So, why are we going in here, Twilight?” said Spike.

“I read in the books that Princess Celestia gave me that in order for SpongeBob’s wand to work, we need to dip it into a liquid mixed with a special enchanted leaf that can be able to work the magic.” said Twilight.

“Are you sure it’s a good idea to go in there?” asked Spike. “It’s dangerous in there.” 

“Don’t worry, Spike. The leaves are located in a safe path through the forest.” said Twilight. “Now, I’m going to go find the leaves, while you two...try your best to entertain yourselves.”

“Gotcha!” said Spike and SpongeBob giving a thumbs-up.

As Spike and SpongeBob watched Twilight go through the forest, they then started to think of what to do.

“So,” SpongeBob asked Spike. “What do you wanna do?”

“Hmm, I’m not really sure.” said Spike. He then heard his stomach growl. “I will admit though, I am a little hungry.”

“You know, I actually am a little bit myself.” said SpongeBob. He looked up, but then he saw some bananas up in a tree.

“Ooh!” said SpongeBob. “Those bananas up there look fresh!” SpongeBob hopped onto the tree to see if he can try and get them down, but no luck. “Hey, Spike!” said SpongeBob, do you think you could hop up and try to get those bananas?”

“Sure, buddy.” said Spike as he hopped on SpongeBob’s head and tried to get the bananas. “Whoa!” Spike yelped as he started to lose balance. “Steady!”

Spike who was getting frantic of falling over, tried to grab the bananas, but was just slicing them up in pieces. Spike and SpongeBob both looked at the sliced bananas on the ground.

“This could work,” Spike said.

Spike and SpongeBob then both heard a growling sound. They both looked up and saw some kind of creature with yellow eyes looking at them.

“Wha-what’s that?” SpongeBob asked in fear.

“That’s a tiger monkey.” Spike said as his eyes were getting wider by the second. The tiger monkey jumped down at them as Spike and SpongeBob were cornered up against a tree. 

“SpongeBob, there’s something I think you should know.” Spike said.

“What’s that?” SpongeBob asked.

“In about three seconds, I am going to scream like a little girl.” Spike said, shaking at the sight of the tiger monkey. The tiger monkey made a powerful sound which sounded like both a screech and a roar, causing Spike and SpongeBob to run and yes, scream like little girls.

“The bananas! Throw the bananas!” Spike yelped.
“Right!” SpongeBob saluted as he started flinging their bananas towards the tiger monkey, it started to slow down. After a few minutes, it looked like the tiger monkey was gone.

“Spike!” said SpongeBob, happily. “I think we lost him!”

But then, SpongeBob and Spike saw the Tiger Monkey walking towards them, chewing his bananas.

“Uh, g-g-got any more bananas?” Spike stammered.

The tiger monkey let out a roar causing Spike to run off, but SpongeBob was still looking at the creature.

“Don’t worry!” said SpongeBob. “I got more bananas!” SpongeBob pulled out three more bananas. But SpongeBob now noticed, the peels fell, but no bananas were revealed. SpongeBob looked up nervously at the tiger monkey, who was snarling.

“So...do you go to the mall?” SpongeBob asked. The tiger monkey roared and tried to smash SpongeBob with his fists but missed.

Meanwhile, Twilight was walking, now with the leaves in her saddlebag.

“Boys!” Twilight called. “I got the leaves! Boys?”

“TWILIGHT!!” Spike and SpongeBob yelled as they both jumped onto her. They all started tumbling down a hill as it ended with Twilight gettin her head stuck through a tree.

“Spike! SpongeBob! What’s going on here?” Twilight asked, trying to pull herself out.

They all heard the tiger monkey’s roar as SpongeBob gulped. “That!” SpongeBob squeaked.

Spike and SpongeBob both tried to pull Twilight out of the tree, but no avail. They all screamed as the tiger monkey jumped towards them.

“Stop!” commanded a female voice.

The tiger monkey stopped and looked in the left direction. He saw a female yellow pegasus with long pink hair. With her were three fillies. One was an earth pony with red hair with a pink bow, a white unicorn with purple and pink hair, and an orange pegasus with short purple hair.

Twilight recognized the yellow pegasus. “Fluttershy?” Twilight asked.

Fluttershy flew up to the tiger monkey. “Aaron,” said Fluttershy. “I should say I am very disappointed in you, you told me you were going to keep your temper under control.”

The tiger monkey lowered his head in front of Fluttershy like a sad puppy. 

“Now, now,” said Fluttershy. “I know you didn’t mean it, now apologize.”

The tiger monkey apologized in his language.

“That’s more like it.” said Fluttershy. “Now, run along.” The tiger monkey then hopped along as Spike and SpongeBob finally pulled Twilight out of the tree. 

“Twilight!” said the fillies as they all jumped on Twilight sharing a hug with her.

“Hi girls,” Twilight said, smiling as she returned the hug. “How was the butterfly migration?”

“It was awesome!” said the unicorn. “I even saw one that had stripes on it!”

“Do you think there’s a cutie mark in butterfly spotting?” asked the pegasus.

Twilight giggled at this as she playfully ruffled the pegasus’ purple mane, making her giggle.

“Who’s that?” asked the earth pony, looking at SpongeBob.

“This is SpongeBob, Apple Bloom.” Twilight answered.

“Howdy, SpongeBob!” Apple Bloom said as she shook SpongeBob’s hand. “Ah’m Apple Bloom, but Ah guess you already knew that.”

“Name’s Scootaloo!” introduced the pegasus.

“I’m Sweetie Belle!” introduced the unicorn.

“I’m Fluttershy.” Introduced Fluttershy, shaking SpongeBob’s hand. “It is very nice to meet you.”

“Thank you very much, ma’am.” SpongeBob said, smiling.





Later, Twilight, Spike and SpongeBob were all walking with Fluttershy and the fillies to Fluttershy’s cottage.

“So, what brings you here to Ponyville?” asked Apple Bloom to SpongeBob.

“Well, I was teleported here to fight against a guy named Strife.” answered SpongeBob.

“Strife?” asked Fluttershy. “You mean Discord’s brother?”

“You know him, Fluttershy?” Twilight asked.

“Oh, yes.” said Fluttershy. “Discord told me about him a while ago.”

“How come you never told any of us before?” asked Twilight.

“Well,” said Fluttershy. “It’s something that Discord doesn’t like to talk about him much.”

“Why?” asked Sweetie Belle. “Did something happen between them?”

“Well, yes.” said Fluttershy. “It’s not a pretty story, though?”

“What did happen between them?” asked Spike as they all walked inside the cottage.

“I could tell,” Fluttershy said. “But I don’t think I should.”

“Aww, come on!” said the fillies.

“Please?” asked Sweetie Belle.

Fluttershy thought for a second. “Well, alright. I’ll tell you.” Fluttershy said.

The ponies, Spike and SpongeBob all sat down on the floor as Fluttershy began to tell her story.

“It all started back when-” Fluttershy started, but noticed Sweetie Belle turning the lights off and bringing in a lantern.

“What’s the lantern for?” asked Scootaloo.

“Dramatic effect.” Sweetie Belle said, smiling. 

Fluttershy then continued her story. “It all started back a long, long time ago when draconequus and ponies were against each other, it was almost like war without end. Discord was raised and trained by his parents to practice more of his magic, hoping that he would overthrow all pony kind. But Strife just wanted to make peace and make friends with ponies everywhere. Their parents saw it as a disgrace and shunned him in favor of Discord. Soon after their parents, along with the last of the draconequus were destroyed, Discord’s powers finally blossomed as he brought eternal chaos to Equestria. He of course, asked Strife to join, but Strife refused to even talk to Discord...and left him. Many years after Discord's defeat, Strife was found by Celestia sitting on a rock, saying nothing, but giving Celestia a frightening glare. Celestia didn’t know if Strife had any powers or not, but seeing how he shared the same blood as Discord and could be a threat, something had to be done, rather not turned to stone, but placed in an underground dungeon of Canterlot, for many years. Shortly after Discord was reformed, we came into Canterlot and explained to Celestia and Luna what Discord and Strife used to be. We were brought in to see Strife, seeing if he would come out and join us. But Strife refused, not even giving Discord a chance to speak, seeing how Strife wanted to have friends but Discord had them, seeing how Strife wouldn't listen to us, we had no choice, but to leave him there. So, that’s how Strife came to be.”

“Wow,” said SpongeBob.

“That was a really sad story,” said Apple Bloom.

“Do you think there’s still hope for him that he might change his ways?” asked Scootaloo.

“I hope so,” said Fluttershy. “But I wouldn’t want to be a pony who would bug him endlessly. Knowing what he’s been through and how his attitude is, I don’t know who would think of disturbing him.”





Meanwhile, down below Canterlot, Plankton was looking around to see where exactly he was undergound. Right now, he walking on a bunch of sewer pipes, he was busy reading a guide of the Canterlot Castle to see where the dungeons would be.

“Hmm,” Plankton said to himself. “For an evil psychopath, they sure do know where to hide his cell from anyone to break him out, then again, who could blame them?” Plankton then accidentally bumped into something. It was a big yellow banana peel.

“Hmm, a big banana peel, eh?” said Plankton. “Mainly this would be used for comic relief, but since it bigger then me, I don’t see how it coul-YAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!!” Plankton yelled as he slipped on the banana peel and fell straight through the sewer. As Plankton finally climbed and got himself out of the sewer, he found himself in front of a large, dark looking prison cell.

Plankton’s eye widened. “Could this be the cell of the all-powerful Strife?” Plankton asked himself, followed by fan-girlish-like squeal. Plankton walked through the bars and couldn’t see anything in the pitch black surrounding.

“Hello?” Plankton called. “Excuse me! I’m trying to find someone with a similar taste of world domination!”  

Not a sound was heard.

“Why is everything so quiet...and deathly quiet-” Plankton was saying. Suddenly, he bumped into something from behind. He turned around and saw he was face to face with an snarling, ugly rat.

"Ah, get lost, ugly!" Plankton slapped the rat right on it's snout. After a couple seconds, the rat began quivering as it scrunched up and walked away whimpering.  

"Oh come on," Plankton growled to himself. "This is supposed to be Strife's cell? I don't see any bringer of doom in here!" 

WHOOSH!

Before Plankton could do anything else, a leopard paw came down and caught him in his grasp. The leopard paw suddenly lifted itself off the ground.

“Hey! What’s going on here?!” Plankton squirmed. He was soon face to face with two glowing yellow eyes

“If I squish you…” The voice started to say. “...will you promise me that you’ll not only shut up but it will hurt?”

“Now, now!” said Plankton nervously. “I mean no harm! I just need some answers!”

“What questions would you want that I would know?” the creature then dropped Plankton on the ground.

“I-I-I was looking for some guy named Strife!” said Plankton as he lit a match to see in the dark. Plankton’s jaw dropped as he saw the yellow-eyed creature in front of him.

It was a creature with a long brown furry body, with a right elephant's foot, a left chicken's leg, right leopard paw for an arm, left blue T-Rex's claw for an arm, a snake's tail, two wings considering of a green parrot's and a dragonfly's and a red alligator’s head with yellow eyes and white bushy eyebrows.

“You’re looking at him.” said the creature.

“Y-y-you’re Strife?” asked Plankton in shock.

“Who wants to know?” asked Strife as he turned around and sat down.

“Well me!” said Plankton. “Hearing how you might rule this world one day? That’s pretty big! So let’s get started!”

“Well, how?” said Strife. “I can’t even get out of this cell.”

“Well, don’t give up just like that!” said Plankton. “We gotta keep thinking.” Plankton started to think a little. “Ah, I got it!”

Before Plankton could continue talking, Strife grabbed Plankton again. “I actually have an idea, right now.” Strife said as he took Plankton where the lock was and stuffed him inside. He started twisting and turning Plankton like a key until eventually the gate opened.

“G-g-good idea,” said Plankton, dazed as he rubbed his head.

“Now exactly, where do we go to get out of here?” asked Strife, raising an eyebrow.

“Well,” said Plankton as he pulled out a ray gun out. “I was gonna suggest using this ray gun to get out, but…”

Meanwhile, two guards were on their way to the dungeon.

“So, how was Strife doing, yesterday?” asked the first guard.

“Quiet as usual, his cell is like a pigsty.” answered the second guard.

The first guard shuddered as he spoke. “You’d think he’d take better care of his cell.”

All of a sudden, a large rumbling sound filled the kingdom. Then, something blasted through the walls, sending the guards off their feet.

“Aww, yeah!” Plankton yelled triumphantly while holding his ray gun. “That’s what I’m talking about!”

As Plankton ran off, one of the guards looked up and saw Strife emerging from the smoke the ray gun caused.

“Stop! Or I will have to use this!” The guard yelled as he held up his spear.

Strife simply raised an eyebrow at the guard and swiped his spear away. With one firm squeeze, the spear snapped in two.

As Strife flew out the exit of the dungeon with Plankton on his head, the guard stood in all as the second guard got up.

“He’s more powerful than we thought,” spoke the second guard, who mistook Plankton’s blast from his ray gun for Strife’s powers.

“True, but he won’t get away!” said the first guard. “Everypony! Strife got out! Stop him!”

Strife flew out of one of the castle’s windows and up into the sky.

“There he is!” Yelled another guard.

A few other guards launched a net towards Strife to trap him inside, but Strife simply grabbed the net and let go as it fell to the ground.

The guards could now only watch in fear as Strife escaped Canterlot and continued flying away, for now they thought...Equestria was doomed.

The next morning in Bikini Bottom was a beautiful one for Squidward. Why is that? Well, let’s let Squidward explain why as he gets out of bed.

“Ah,” Squidward said, smiling. “What a beautiful day. Not that the sun is shining, not that any bad weather would be coming for a while, but the fact that SpongeBob is nowhere to be found! Guess I can start this momentous opportunity, with a little music.” Before Squidward could play his clarinet, he heard something that made him cringe. 

“SPONGEBOB! Where are ya?” Patrick’s voice called.

“Come out, come out, boy!” Mr. Krabs voice also called.

Squidward instantly opened his window and peaked out. “Will you two keep quiet?” asked Squidward. “I’m trying to practice on my clarinet!”

“We’re looking for SpongeBob!” said Patrick. “Did you see him go anywhere?”

“No, I haven’t.” said Squidward. “I don’t plan to either.”

“Mr. Squidward,” said Mr. Krabs. “Do you even care that SpongeBob might be in danger?”

“No, because I’m truly certain he’s fine!” said Squidward. “He usually disappears and reappears here and there, so why should I care now?” Squidward then finished by closing his window.

“Mr. Squidward,” Mr. Krabs called. “If you don’t help us find SpongeBob, I’m docking your pay an hour!”

“Hmph,” said Squidward. “Like he ever pays me anything.” Squidward then watched Mr. Krabs and Patrick leave.

“Hmm,” said Squidward. “I guess I do feel bad SpongeBob MIGHT be in trouble. Oh, i-it’ll pass. I’m sure he’s fine. Now, let’s get back to practicing.” Squidward took a deep breath, about to start practicing, but then he cringed again.

“SPONGEBOB! WILL YOU BE QUIE-!!” Squidward started. But then he remembered, SpongeBob was gone. “Oh, oh yeah. SpongeBob is gone. Okay, back to practicing,” But as Squidward began, he cringed again. “No, SpongeBob! I won’t go jellyfi-!” Squidward yelled out the window, but then he remembered again. “Okay, Squiddy. Keep it together,” Squidward said to to himself. “You can do it...can you?”





Meanwhile, back in Ponyville, Twilight was now teaching SpongeBob the way of magic.

“Alright, SpongeBob.” said Twilight. “Are you ready for the next spell?”

“Yep!” said SpongeBob.

“Okay, your next spell spell is shooting a blast.” said Twilight. “Give me an example.” 

“Alright,” SpongeBob spoke as he aimed his wand. His wand started to glow as a magic ball started forming.

“It’s working!” said Twilight, smiling. However, Twilight’s grin started to fade away when the ball started to get bigger...and bigger...and bigger until…

BOOM!

The blast had both Twilight and SpongeBob on the floor as they were both covered in soot from the magical explosion.

“Ugh,” Twilight said, getting up and wiping her face. “SpongeBob, how many times do I have to tell you, you can’t hold the wand in that pose for a long time!”

“Sorry,” said SpongeBob, sheepishly. 

All of a sudden, Twilight heard the door knocking. 

“Come in!” Twilight called.

The door opened revealing Sweetie Belle. “Hi, Aunt Twilight!” Twilight smiled at that voice. She remembered when Sweetie Belle started calling Twilight that, seeing how she's grown just as close to Sweetie Belle as Rarity.  “I came back to return that book of magic I  borrowed.”

“Finished already?” Twilight asked, smiling.

“Yep! Couldn’t put it down!” Sweetie Belle said, jumping in the air. “So how’s it going?”

“Well, we’re having a few difficulties.” said Twilight. “SpongeBob’s still having difficulty with his magic.”

Sweetie Belle thought for a second, then smiled excitedly.

“Hey, Aunt Twilight!” Sweetie Belle asked. “Do you mind if I help SpongeBob too? You’ve already been teaching me a lot of what you know about magic!”

Twilight’s eyes widened at this. “Well, I don’t know if…” Twilight started.

Twilight then looked down at Sweetie Belle who was giving her puppy dog eyes and hugging her leg.

“Please, Aunt Twilight?” asked Sweetie Belle. “Can’t I help?”

Twilight couldn’t help it as she smiled at Sweetie Belle. Also, Twilight did in fact have studies she needed to finish for Celestia, studies that she had before SpongeBob came into the picture. “Oh, alright.” Twilight said.

“Yes!” said Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle then took SpongeBob’s hand. “Come on, SpongeBob! I gotta show what me and my friends do!”

“Alrighty!” said SpongeBob, happily as he ran out with Sweetie Belle.

Twilight waved goodbye to SpongeBob and Sweetie Belle as they left. As they were out of sight, Twilight groaned and put a hoof to her head.





Later, Twilight was at Sugarcube Corner with Applejack, Rarity and Fluttershy.

“I don’t know what to do right now!” Twilight explained to her friends. “SpongeBob’s not getting anywhere with his magic, and he gets too distracted with everything!”

“Try to be patient, Twilight.” said Applejack. “This is a new environment for SpongeBob, he’s never been this far away from home before, and he needs to get adjusted to Ponyville.”

“I know, but-” Twilight started to say.

“Don’t worry about a thing, Sweetie Belle and her friends will also be there to help SpongeBob with magic, after all she is learning from the best.” said Rarity, smiling.

Twilight blushed at that comment.

“Besides, what trouble could SpongeBob possibly get into with those little angels?” asked Fluttershy.





Meanwhile, SpongeBob was with the Crusaders and Sweetie Belle was trying to teach SpongeBob more about magic.

“Alright,” said Sweetie Belle, skimming through the pages of Twilight’s book. “Here’s another one. How about...mutation.”
“Okay,” said SpongeBob, as he took the book and looked at it.

“Ready, SpongeBob?” Apple Bloom asked placing an apple in front of SpongeBob. 

“You bet!” SpongeBob said, as he prepared to turn the apple into an orange. But then, SpongeBob accidentally slipped and zapped a nearby squirrel instead. The squirrel suddenly grew bat wings and flew away.

“How was that?” SpongeBob asked hopefully.

Apple Bloom thought nervously. “You’re getting the hang of it!” She said, encouragingly.

“You really think?” SpongeBob asked as he looked at his wand.

“Of course we do!” said Sweetie Belle.

“Yeah,” said Scootaloo. “With the powers you’ll soon get, it’ll make that Strife guy look like a total wimp!” Scootaloo thought for a second. “Do you think there’s a cutie mark in encouragement?” Scootaloo asked Apple Bloom.

“Excuse me,” said SpongeBob. “But what is this cutie mark you girls keep talking about?”

“A cutie mark is a mark on your flank that appears when ya find your own special talent.” Apple Bloom said. “But we don’t have our own yet.” 

“We tried so many times to get them, but we can’t seem to know what we’re good at.” said Scootaloo. 

SpongeBob thought for a second, then smiled. “You know,” said SpongeBob. “You’re looking at someone who has quite a few different talents, maybe I can help you!” 

“Really?” asked Apple Bloom. “You could do that?”

“Sure!” said SpongeBob. “Bringing it around town is how I like to do it!”





Throughout the rest of the day, SpongeBob continued to help the Crusaders with finding their special talents. SpongeBob worked with Apple Bloom on building a giant ramp, as well as Sweetie Belle using her magic to get more wood. Scootaloo then put her scooter skills to the test, by performing a great trick with her scooter by soaring high in the sky. Later, it was time for SpongeBob to head back home.





“Well, thanks for spending the day helping us, SpongeBob!” said Apple Bloom.

“Thank you for helping me with what I need so far!” said SpongeBob as he climbed down from the the treehouse. SpongeBob then whistled a nice little tune as he started walking back to the library in the moonlit night.

SpongeBob quietly opened the door to the library and peeked his head through. He was about ready to sleep on the couch until he tripped over something, he looked down and noticed there were a few books scattered on the floor. SpongeBob’s eyes widened as he had an idea. SpongeBob decided to test the magic he’s learned so far. 

“For these kind of books, short or long, have my magic put them back where they belong!” SpongeBob whispered. A small blast shot from his wand where the books were. The books started to glow and levitate.

“Alright!” SpongeBob whispered happily. Before SpongeBob could use the magic, he slipped on another book and it caused the books he was levitating to start spinning around the living room as well as start doing more stuff, such as knocking stuff over and causing mayhem.

“Gah!” SpongeBob yelped. “Stop! Knock it off!”

Twilight emerged from her bedroom, rubbing her eyes. “Wha-?” Twilight said. “What’s going on?” Twilight’s eyes widened. “My books!” Twilight exclaimed in horror as she ran downstairs.

Spike then ran out of the bedroom, holding a plunger. “Who’s there?” Spike yelled, looking dazed. “I have a broom!”

Twilight’s horn then started glowing as the books started getting engulfed in her magic. The whole room then was filled with a white bright light. The books were all now placed back on the shelf, right where they belong. Twilight sighed in relief at this, but then she had a sharp glare towards SpongeBob who was on the floor with a book on his head. Twilight pressed her hoof on SpongeBob’s foot that caused him to fling up and face her. SpongeBob opened his eyes and saw Twilight looking at him angrily.

“What is your deal?!” Twilight snapped.

“I-I’m sorry, it was an acci-” SpongeBob stammered.
“Can’t you do anything right?” Twilight scolded angrily. “I’m not one to judge Princess Celestia, but you are just impossible to teach!”

As Twilight scolded, SpongeBob picked up the book from the floor and dusted it, held it before Twilight, smiling as he hoped she would feel at least a little better. Twilight instead swiped the book from SpongeBob.

“Now go upstairs for now,” Twilight said, pointing upstairs. “I’ve got a mess to clean up!”

SpongeBob then sadly started to walk up the stairs, but he then turned to Twilight, smiling nervously, but Twilight still had her glare on him. SpongeBob then continued walking upstairs as Twilight started cleaning up.

“Twilight?” Spike asked. “Don’t you think you were a little too hard on SpongeBob?”

“I don’t know,” Twilight said. “I don’t want to be too mean to him, but he’s sometimes so hard to teach! How can I tell the Princess abou-Spike?”

Twilight noticed that Spike felt sick, Spike all of a sudden burped out a letter. Spike looked at the letter. “It’s from Princess Luna!” Spike said. “Maybe, the situation of that Strife guy may be taken care of by now!”

Twilight sighed in relief. “Ah, yes.” Twilight said. “If there’s anything I could use right now, it’s good news.” Twilight looked over at Spike reading the letter, but noticed him getting nervous.

“Uh oh,” Spike said, as his eyes widened.

“What is it?” Twilight asked, concerned. “It is good news, right?”

Spike gulped. “Let’s just say that on a scale from one to ten,” Spike said as he handed the letter to Twilight. “It’s not good.” Twilight gasped as she read the letter.





Twilight was told to meet Princess Luna outside on a nearby hill, and right now, Twilight was frantically running towards Luna.

“Princess Luna!” Twilight said, frantically.

“Twilight Sparkle,” Luna said, turning towards Twilight. “I’m sure you’ve heard the news.”
“Yes!” Twilight answered, scared. “Strife broke out! He’s probably planning something bad for Equestria right now as we know it! We have to do something!”

“Calm down, Twilight.” Luna said, placing a hoof on Twilight’s shoulder. “We do not know what powers Strife possesses, it could not be a big deal, or it could be a disaster. But right now, we don’t know for sure, guards are searching everywhere and if anything goes wrong, we will let you know. Besides, your pupil seems to be doing well.”

“That’s what I wanted to talk about, SpongeBob isn’t good at that magic I am teaching him, he just not getting the hang of it!” Twilight explained.

“Well, he’s certainly getting the respect of your friends.” said Luna, smiling.

“Wait, what do you mean?” Twilight asked as Luna spread out her wings.

“That’s for you to find out.” Luna said as she then flew into the night.

As Twilight watched Luna fly away, she thought to herself. “My friends,” Twilight thought to herself. Twilight tried to think hard, until something finally came to her. “Wait! I now know the magic Celestia was talking about! It isn’t the magic you look in books for, it’s the magic of friendship!” Twilight happily grabbed a nearby crow and spun him around, confusing him. “SpongeBob has been doing that perfectly!” Twilight felt wonderful about this, until realization hit her. She felt very bad of how she behaved towards SpongeBob. She now had to apologize.





SpongeBob was up in Twilight’s bedroom, looking out the window and up at the starry sky as clouds rolled by. The clouds looked nice, but they still were nothing compared to the clouds back where he came from. The bedroom door then creaked open, revealing Twilight.

“SpongeBob?” asked Twilight.

“Oh, hi Twilight,” SpongeBob said, looking depressed. “I thought I’d just look outside before I go to bed.”

“Wait,” Twilight said. “I came up here because I wanted to say, I’m sorry.”

“For what?” asked SpongeBob. “You were right, I keep messing things up.”

“No,” said Twilight. “I was wrong, if there was anything that you did right, it’s what you were doing ever since you came here.”

“You mean, hanging out with your friends?” asked SpongeBob.

“Yes,” Twilight said, smiling warmly. “I think you should still continue playing with the Crusaders, they seem to really like you.”

“Yeah,” said SpongeBob, smiling while looking down. “We did have fun.”

Twilight smiled as SpongeBob turned to go downstairs to sleep on the couch. “There’s something magical about that, isn’t there?” Twilight asked.

SpongeBob thought for a second. “Yeah,” SpongeBob said. “Well, goodnight!” Twilight nodded at that as SpongeBob went downstairs, as Spike came into the bedroom.

“So, is everything fixed between you two?” asked Spike.

“Yes, Spike.” Twilight said, smiling as she helped Spike get comfortable in his bed. “Everything is fixed.”

“That’s good to hear,” Spike said, as he started to fall asleep.

Twilight smiled at Spike, fast asleep in his bed. She laid down next to Spike and gently stroked his head.

“Don’t you worry, Spike.” Twilight whispered as she looked at the stars in the sky outside the window. “Everything is going perfect, and it will keep getting better.” 





Meanwhile, Strife and Plankton were now wandering along in the outskirts of Equestria. Plankton was talking about how they could rule the world, Strife, pretty much didn’t care what Plankton was talking about.

“So, I’m thinking maybe we should hold the most important ponies around against their will, that way we could take over this place in the blink of one eye! He-he, one eye!” Plankton said.

Strife did not respond.

“Right,” Plankton said. “So, when we get out evil lair, what shall we have there? Hmm...I know! A dinosaur army! HEAR ME OUT! It may sound like...a lot...a REAL lot, but now is a good time to let out steam and take out revenge on innocent bystanders and-”

“How about I speak up for once?” Strife irritatingly asked as he grabbed Plankton by his antennas.

“Oh, okay!” Plankton asked, getting excited that this dastardly mind might have a few ideas of his own. “What is it?”

“I don’t have any powers! Don’t you get it? I’m pretty much useless in this world and nothing is going to change that! So, get lost!” Strife said angrily as he tossed Plankton to the ground.

“But you said that you were going to repay me!” Plankton said, getting up. “After I got you out of prison!”

“Think of my repayment as me not stepping on you.” Strife said as he then continued walking. 

“Yo-you sold me out!” Plankton yelled. “We had a deal!” All of a sudden, thunder was heard. “You better get your USELESS self out of the rain, buddy!!” Plankton yelled in Strife’s direction. 

Strife growled as he clenched his fists. Then out of nowhere, a bolt of lightning struck down towards Strife as it hit his arm.

“What the-?” Strife said, looking at the lightning coiling around his arm. Strife then tried to shake it off, but no prevail.

“What in Neptune’s name is that?” Plankton said, looking at the lightning.

After Strife did one more shake of the arm, the lightning came off and started flying towards Plankton.

“YAAAAAUGH!” Plankton yelled as he took cover behind a rock. However, the lightning bolt struck on him behind the rock. Plankton peeked his head from the rock.

“Phew,” Plankton said. “Why don’t you watch where you aim your arm?!” Plankton yelled at Strife.

Strife, however was looking at Plankton like if he saw a ghost.

“What?” Plankton asked. He then looked down and saw the rest of his body looked like one of a spider’s. “AAAAUGH!” Plankton yelled. “Wh-what’s going on?! Get this off me! Get it off!”

Plankton continued running around, spazzing his head off as Strife watched in complete confusion. “H-how did I do that?” Strife said looking at his claw which was still sparking of electricity. “My dad had electrical powers and my mom had...chaotic...powers…” Strife said, starting to realize something.

Strife then zapped a pile of mud, and nothing happened. Then out of nowhere, out of the mud puddle grew a beautiful red rose. Strife’s eyes widened at this. Then, his shocked look then started to turn into an evil grin as he looked at his hands. 

“These...these are my powers…” Strife said. “Electrical and chaotic powers!!!” Strife held his arms in the air, as the sky shook with thunder. Plankton stopped freaking out and stared at Strife in awe. Lightning came down from the sky and became in contact with Strife’s arms as Strife let out a frightening cackle. As more electricity swirled around Strife, he then grew to an enormous size.

“YES!!!” Strife yelled triumphantly in a booming voice. “MY POWERS ARE FINALLY REALIZED! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!!” As Strife was embracing himself in his discovered power, he felt a sudden twitch as his powers started to decrease.

“THE LIGHTNING IS FADING AWAY,” Strife said to himself. “ALL THE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE, AND I CAN’T USE IT WITHOUT ELECTRICITY!!!! UNLESS, I HAVE SOMEONE ARRANGE IT FOR ME.” Strife looked down at Plankton who was backing up against a rock. “FIND ME A POWER SOURCE AT ONCE!!!!”

Plankton could barely speak at Strife’s huge size as he started babbling. But then a deflation was heard as Strife was shrunken back down to his original size.

Plankton’s fear had completely disappeared now as he then started laughing at Strife’s embarrassment. Strife growled at Plankton as he grabbed him by the antennas once again.

“What’s so funny?!” Strife yelled.

“You seemed so threatening at first, and then...!” Plankton razzed before laughing once more.

Strife snarled at Plankton and looked at him straight in the eye. “Get this through your small, yet thick head, I can now have my vengence on Equestria, to be the monster they all thought I was, you will find a power source for me.” Strife demanded.

Plankton thought about this for a second. “So, um...you need me.” Plankton said, smirking at Strife, who raised an eyebrow. “Sure, I’ll uh...find you a power source but...on a couple conditions.”

Strife then grew enraged of Plankton as he then threw him on the ground. “WHY YOU-!!!!” Strife yelled as he raised his fist. Before Strife could slam it down, he thought about this. After all, Plankton did get him out of prison so he could later find his power, so he really did owe Plankton something. Strife then lowered his paw as Plankton looked at him.

“We technically did have a deal.” said Strife. “So, if you cooperate with me, I will see that you are rewarded.”

“Yes!” Plankton squealed with happiness. “I will definitely get you that power source!”

“So where is it?” said Strife.

Plankton paused. “Uh, I was hoping that you had a suggestion.” Plankton said, sheepishly.

Strife narrowed his eyes at Plankton, which made him step back in fear. “Of course, I could instead do that!” Plankton said nervously.

Plankton then started to look around for any kind of power source as Strife tapped his foot. Plankton then heard the sound of a train engine. Plankton looked over the hill and saw a train going by. “Hmm,” Plankton said as he started to think.

It was now morning in Ponyville, and Strife, wearing a large brown cloak was walking through the town with Plankton on his head.

"Are you sure we're going to find something?" Strife asked, bitterly.

"Positive, Strifey." Plankton smirked. "I heard in an a paper, that 'anything you need, we got it in Ponyville and we'll leave you smiling!'" Plankton realized how stupid that sounded and growled. "But let's hurry up, the cuteness here is making me ill."

"Hi, Mister!" said Pinkie Pie as she jumped up in Strife's eyes.

"Oh, uh...what do you want?" Strife said, covering his face.

"WellIusuallyknoweveryponyhereinPonyvillebutthenyoucamealongandIneversawyoubeforeandIthoughtIusuallyknoweveryponyhereinPonyvilleso-" Pinkie Pie stopped when Strife grabbed Pinkie Pie's snout and pulled her close.

"Quiet..." Strife growled, trying to keep his temper under control.

"Okie-dokie-lokie!" Pinkie Pie said. But then Pinkie Pie looked at Strife's cheetah paw. "Hey," Pinkie Pie asked. "Where did you get that paw from?"

Strife's eyes widened at this.

"I haven't seen anything like that since..." Pinkie Pie started to think.

Strife and Plankton both started sweating nervously.

"I know!" Pinkie Pie said, grinning. "My dream of a second Nightmare Night is real! I never thought it wouldn't be in summer, but whatever!"

Strife and Plankton sighed in relief.

"I should get my costume ready!" Pinkie Pie said happily as she was about to run off. But Strife grabbed her tail.

"Wait a second!" Strife yelled.

"N-ye-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-es?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"I am looking for something that could spark a lot of electricity! Where is something like that?" Strife asked.

"Oh!" Pinkie Pie said turning to a shop that said Buy Our Bunny Slippers . "How about that place? It has some of the most fuzziest bunny slippers ever!"

Strife grinned evilly. "Perfect."

"Well, I gotta go, now!" Pinkie Pie said as she walked away. "Happy Summer Nightmare Night!"

As Pinkie Pie was gone from sight, Strife looked at Plankton.

"Alright you," Strife told Plankton. "We were very close to getting caught. You're going to have to get the slippers."

"I can't set foot in that place!" Plankton whimpered. "It has too much pink!"

"Get in there!" Strife yelled as he threw Plankton through the window.

Plankton immediately got up from the floor and noticed that the whole inside of the store was pink, and he quickly covered his eye. "Okay, keep it together." Plankton muttered to himself, sneaking a pair of bunny slippers.

"Hurry up SpongeBob!" said the voice of Sweetie Belle.

"Don't worry, I'm catching up!" SpongeBob said.

Plankton peeked through the window and saw SpongeBob running with the Crusaders. Plankton leaped on the ground and saw Twilight waving to SpongeBob, with Spike on her back. Plankton recognized that unicorn and decided to follow her, thinking of what she had planned for Strife.

"SpongeBob is really doing good with the whole friendship thing!" Spike told Twilight.

"Yeah," Twilight said. "But I am still wondering if the Elements of Harmony would be any use though."

Plankton's eye widened. The Elements of Harmony?

"Don't worry, Twilight." Spike told Twilight. "You used them to defeat Nightmare Moon and Discord, even if SpongeBob couldn't help us, defeating Strife would be a synch. Besides, Who else would Celestia trust holding on to them more then you?"

"Yeah," Twilight said as she nuzzled Spike. "Thanks Spike,"

"Well, I try," Spike said with a shrug.

Plankton grinned evilly as he watched Twilight and Spike leave the library. Plankton leaped up to the doorknob and went through it, unlocking the door. Once the door opened, Plankton walked inside, snickering. "I think I'll just take a look around."

Meanwhile, Fluttershy was busy feeding her animals. But all of a sudden, she had a visitor in the trees, something that looked like a giant squirrel. 

"Hiya, Fluttershy!" Pinkie Pie spoke, dressed like a squirrel.

"Oh, hello, Pinkie Pie!" Fluttershy said, smiling. "How are you doing today."

"Haven't you heard? There's going to be a Summer Nightmare Night! How do you like my squirrel costume?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"It's nice, Pinkie Pie." Fluttershy spoke. "But please keep it down, Wilson is trying to sleep."

"Wilson?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Yes," Fluttershy asked. "He's a giant I found, lost in the woods." Fluttershy took Pinkie Pie over to the gigantic pony sleeping, with a bunch of ropes around him.

"What's with the ropes?" Pinkie Pie asked.

"Wilson tosses and turns in his sleep." Fluttershy explained. "So, do you think you can keep it down a bit, please?"

"Abso-positively!" Pinkie Pie said aloud, but then whispered. "I mean, abso-positively!" Pinkie Pie then hopped away as Fluttershy went back in her cottage. But neither of them noticed that the ropes around Wilson started to snap.

Meanwhile in the CMC clubhouse, the Crusaders were holding a ceremony for SpongeBob.

"And so on and so forth," Sweetie Belle spoke. "We hereby make you an honorary Crusader!"

The Crusaders and SpongeBob all cheered for this moment.

BOOM...

Scootaloo looked outside. "Did you hear something?" Scootaloo asked.

BOOM...

"Yeah," Apple Bloom spoke. "It sounded big..."

BOOM...

"It's sounds close..." SpongeBob added as a shadow loomed over the clubhouse.

BOOM...

"Too close!" Sweetie Belle yelled when she peeked out the window, and saw the giant!

BOOM!!!!

The giant boomed by the clubhouse and the Crusaders and SpongeBob quickly escaped the clubhouse, trying not to get noticed by the giant.

But the giant quickly saw the Crusaders and SpongeBob.

"ME WANT PONIES AND CHEESE!!! ME WANT PONIES AND CHEESE!!!" The giant yelled.

"Aah! Help!!!" The Crusaders and SpongeBob yelled.

Meanwhile, Twilight, Spike, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie and Rarity were all eating lunch together, when Fluttershy ran into the scene.

"Girls! Girls!" Fluttershy yelled. "The escaped has giant! No-no! The escaped giant has-no-no!"

"Fluttershy, what is it?" Twilight asked putting her hooves around Fluttershy.

"The giant I found, he escaped and I found footsteps leading to the Crusaders' clubhouse!" Fluttershy said, scared.

"Giant?" The ponies said in fear.

"Yes!" said Fluttershy. "What if something happened to the Crusaders?"

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Applejack said as they ran off to find the giant.

Pinkie Pie jumped out of her squirrel outfit. "Another day," Pinkie Pie said determined as she followed the ponies.

Later, the ponies and Spike were walking through the forest following the giant's footsteps.

"So, where did you find this giant?" Twilight asked.

"I found Wilson lost in the woods and he was exhausted. It was much easier talking to him then, but now, awake and full of energy, not so sure." Fluttershy stammered. "I heard that they have ten times the strength as a dragon or an Ursa Major, despite being the same gigantic size!"

Spike gulped at that and held onto Twilight.

"Aww, it's alright, Fluttershy!" said Pinkie Pie. "Talking to a humongous giant is no different then....talking to a little bunny!" 

Fluttershy looked up and smiled. "Really?" Fluttershy asked.

"Why sure!" Pinkie Pie asked. "Well, except for the humongous part, they're pretty much similar!"

Fluttershy's grin turned into a nervous look. The ponies then heard a shriek.

"That's the girls!" Rarity exclaimed.

"SpongeBob's down there too!" Twilight added. The ponies followed the shriek to where they would be.

The Crusaders and SpongeBob were in a gorge, where the giant was trying to find them.

"Okay, guys," Apple Bloom said, shaking. "Confession time!"

"Okay! Remember that bear I said took your Apple Pie?" Sweetie Belle asked. "That was me."

"And remember that twin sister that keeps showing up when I'm not around?" Scootaloo asked. "That was me."

"Uh, I already knew that." Apple Bloom stated.

"Psst!" said a voice that sounded like Rainbow Dash.

The Crusaders and SpongeBob saw Rainbow Dash with the other ponies hiding in a crack and quickly ran to them.

"Oh, Sweetie Belle, thank Celestia you're alright!" Rarity said, hugging her sister, tightly.

"Are ya hurt?" Applejack asked Apple Bloom.

"No," said Apple Bloom. "But if it wasn't for SpongeBob who helped hide us, we would've been under that giant's hoof!"

The ponies smiled at SpongeBob as Rainbow Dash rubbed his head. "That took guts, kid!" Rainbow Dash laughed.

"Now hurry up, girls!" Twilight whispered. "We have too escape before it's too late!"

"Wait!" SpongeBob whispered. "What about the giant? We can't just let him crash the place!"

"He's right!" Rarity added. "There has to be someway to calm that giant down."

The ponies looked at Fluttershy, who's eyes widened.

"Well, I, uh..." Fluttershy stammered.

"Flutters," SpongeBob said. "You're good with animals? Right?"

"Well, yes." Fluttershy replied.

"Then if you can take on a tiger monkey, then this is child's play." SpongeBob spoke.

The ponies grinned at Fluttershy as she took a deep breath. "If you're so sure, okay." Fluttershy said.

"Alright!" SpongeBob said. "Now, I have an idea, to have the giant in our place for Fluttershy."

The ponies, Spike and SpongeBob all huddled together to hear the plan.

The gang all waited for the giant to arrive. Once the giant got closer, the gang wrapped a bunch of ropes around the giant causing him to fall over.

"Okay, Fluttershy!" SpongeBob said. "Do your stuff!" 

Fluttershy cleared her throat and started to sing.

(Replace 'Gonna make you proud someday' with 'Don't be looking down that way')


The giant was now put to sleep and the ponies, Spike and SpongeBob cheered for their victory. Twilight and her friends were very proud of SpongeBob, of his quick thinking and how he helped save the Crusaders. But meanwhile, in a dark cave off in the high distance of Ponyville, Strife was waiting for Plankton.

"Hey, Strifey!!!" Plankton called he walked into the cave. "Look what I got!" Plankton set the slippers on the ground in front of Strife.

Strife grinned evilly as he picked up the slippers, feeling their electricity. "Yes, yes!"

"And that's not all," Plankton added. Plankton then pulled from behind his back, five golden necklaces and a crown. "Behold!" Plankton announced. "The Elements of Harmony!"

Strife looked at the Elements and could feel the electricity coursing through his veins. Strife could only let an evil cackle, after finally discovering his powers.

Meanwhile back in Bikini Bottom, Mr. Krabs and Patrick were knocking on Squidward's door. It's been a day since they last spoke with him and they haven't seen him since.

"Mr. Squidward?" Mr. Krabs called. "Are ye in there? We're still going to need your help! We looked everywhere and still can't find SpongeBob!"

There was no answer. Patrick then pulled on the doorknob accidentally ripping the door off. "Oops."

Patrick and Mr. Krabs looked inside and saw Squidward's living room was a mess, it was almost like a hurricane swept through it and destroyed everything in sight.

"Squidward?" Patrick yelled out. "Buddy, are ya in here?"

All of a sudden, a blue blur tackled Patrick and pinned him to the floor.

"WHY! HAVE! YOU! STOPPED! MAKING! NOISE?!!!" Squidward yelled banging Patrick's head on the floor.

Patrick was silent.

"PATRICK!!!!"

"Oh, sorry," Patrick said. "I didn't know what to say."

Squidward screamed and began running around the house like a lunatic. Mr. Krabs finally grabbed Squidward and slapped him across the face.

"Snap out of it, Mr. Squidward!" Mr. Krabs shouted.

Squidward started to take it easy. "Thanks..." Squidward sighed. "I needed that. Ever since SpongeBob vanished, everything was too quiet!"

"Well, we can't stand here, looking around every coral and rock 24/7!" Mr. Krabs spoke up.

"Maybe Sandy would know something!" Patrick suggested. "She's not used to coral!"

Mr. Krabs thought for a second. "That...actually isn't a bad idea. Let's go, Mr. Squidward!"

Squidward followed Patrick and Mr. Krabs to Sandy's as he then said. "Wait, can someone...talk, please...I need to break the silence..."





Back at the Krusty Krab, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward were showing Sandy where SpongeBob was last.

"He was right here in the kitchen!" Squidward said. "And that's the last time I saw him!"

Sandy was looking around the Krusty Krab until she spotted something glowing. "Uh, fellas?" Sandy asked. "Y'all might wanna see this." Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward looked over and saw Sandy was holding something yellow and sparkling.

"It looks like some kind of sparkle." Mr. Krabs thought. "This thing doesn't look like it could be from our world."

Sandy's eyes widened. "That's it! We gotta get to my lab!"





Sandy took the yellow sparkle into her lab and walked over to a machine while her friends observed.

"What's that doohickey doing there?" Mr. Krabs asked.

"This is a machine I recently made to travel through different dimensions," Sandy explained. "I use it to collect nuts from different worlds." Sandy took the yellow Sparkle and placed on her machine. "I feel that if we could identify where this sparkle is from, we'll locate SpongeBob with this machine!"

"Are you sure this will work?" Patrick asked.

"99% sure, Sandy said.

"Already, I'm regretting this." Squidward groaned.

Sandy placed the sparkle on her machine as it began to shake. Then a portal opened through the machine. 

"Well fellas," Sandy started. "This is it!" Sandy hopped through the portal. "Let's go find our sponge!"

Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward all reluctantly stepped towards the portal before eventually jumping in.

The four were now falling through a colorful portal traveling through dimensions.

"How long will we be falling?" Squidward yelled.

"I don't know!" Sandy answered. "All I know is, we have to stick together! We don't want to get mixed up in another dimension!"

As the four kept falling, they didn't notice a red spaceship being driven by a blue koala-like alien with a yellow bald man.

"Who were those guys?" Homer Simpson asked.

"Eh," Stitch replied as he continued driving.





Meanwhile, back in Canterlot, Princess Celestia was standing outside on her balcony. Everything was peaceful, but Celestia was very worried of where Strife would be.

All of a sudden, dark clouds loomed over Equestria. Princess Celestia grew more worried. "Just like the dream," She whispered. She then heard the voice of her sister, Princess Luna.

“Celestia!” called Luna, frantically running up to her. “Celestia!”

“Dear sister, what is it?” asked Celestia, concerned.

“We have trouble.” Luna looked down.

Later, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna were with the guards.

“We’ve searched everywhere, Your Highness.” reported one of the guards. “He’s nowhere to be found.”

“Keep searching!” Celestia ordered. “Let no guard sleep until he’s brought back here.”

“Yes, your highness.” Said the guard as he and the other guards continued their search.

Celestia began pacing back and forth.

“Is something troubling thou?” said Luna.

“I just have no idea what to do now.” Said Celestia. “I can’t believe this is happening so instant.”

"Celestia," Luna put her hoof around her sister's neck. "I'm your sister and I know everything will be alright in the end."

Celestia smiled at her sister. "Thank you, Luna."

"My pleasure," Luna grinned. "Now, I must go check with my guards if they saw anything."

Luna then walked away as Celestia looked out her window. She felt something was going to happen right-

"WHY CELESTIA!" boomed a voice. "WHY, LONG TIME NO SEE!"

Celestia turned around and saw Strife, grinning evilly with electrified hands.

“You!” said Celestia in anger. “How did you get this sort of magic?”

“It is of no concern of yours,” said the figure. “All that matters is that I now have powers, more than you can possibly imagine.”

“Cease this at once!” Celestia commanded. “There must be something we can do about this!”

“Sorry, but for too long, everypony has shunned me,” The figure said as his hand began to glow. “But no more,” The figure cackled as he then fired at Celestia.

Celestia was on her hooves with this as she leaped in the air avoiding Strife's attack. Strife saw that once the smoke settled, Celestia was nowhere in sight. He turned and saw the gates to the throne room open, as if Celestia escaped through them.

The hallways of the castle where darkened thanks to the clouds outside, but the gates burst open revealing Strife. His eyes were narrowed as thought where Celestia might be hiding. His claws ignited in electricity from the bunny slippers as he slowly floated forward, ready for an attack in the silent halls. 

WHOOSH! 

SMASH!

Strife looked up at the mighty sound of a wing flap and shielded himself from the sound of shattered glass. He saw one of the royal windows was smashed and noticed Celestia flying towards the clouds in the distance. 

Strife chuckled as he flew after Celestia in pursuit as Luna noticed what was happening through her own window. "Celestia!" Luna called out. But neither, Celestia or Luna noticed Plankton watching the battle from the top of a building.

"Finally, I get to see some violence around here!" Plankton grinned. "OKAY, STRIFEY, LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED!!!"

Celestia tried to get away from Strife, who had his idea of throwing storm clouds at Celestia. She tried her best to dodge all of them, but she was getting weaker from Strife's power. But then Celestia used her own magic to stop the storm cloud and hurl it at Strife. Strife quickly flew out of the cloud's way as he noticed Celestia flying towards him and igniting her horn. Strife then got his hands ready as he fired at Celestia, while the princess fired her own magic. As the electricity and magic met, there was a large explosion as Luna and Plankton watched in awe.

"...Wooooow..." Plankton spoke.

As the smoke cleared, Luna couldn't take it anymore and flew out of the window. "CELESTIA!!!" Luna called out. "CELESTIA, WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Luna gasped as she saw her sister laying on the ground, weak as her horn was sparkling. Luna instantly flew over and pulled Celestia's neck up.

"Luna," Celestia coughed. "You need to get out and find help. He's too powerful."

Meanwhile, Strife was recovering from his own injuries as he was flying around as fast as he could, looking for Celestia.

"I will never!" Luna protested. "You could be killed!"

"CELESTIA!!!!" Strife yelled from the distance.

"Listen." Celestia spoke. "Strife doesn't know about you, I kept your identity a secret because I didn't want him to know about and hurt you! You must go!"

"GET UP WHERE YOU ARE AND FACE ME!!!!" The sisters heard Strife yell.

"But Celestia!" Luna tried to say. 

"Luna," Celestia spoke softly, putting her hoof around Luna's neck. "I'm your sister and I know everything will be alright in the end."

Luna's eyes widened, remembering those exact words she told Celestia. Her eyes were filled with tears as she hugged Celestia and quickly flew off elsewhere. Celestia felt the ground shake as she looked up and saw Strife, looking down on her.

"Now," Strife spoke. "What to do here..."





Meanwhile, Twilight was saying goodbye to SpongeBob and the Crusaders as they were off onto another day of Crusading.

"Hey, Twilight!" Spike said, looking out the window. "See those clouds over there?"

Twilight walked over and saw very dark clouds off in the distance.

"I will admit, those clouds don't look promising," Twilight started. "But I wouldn't worry too much, they're very far away. It doesn't look bad from where we're at."

"ATTENTION! ATTENTION CITIZENS OF PONYVILLE! MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?" A loud voice was heard all throughout Ponyville, alarming every pony.

"What the-?" Twilight said in surprise.

Everypony walked outside to where the voice was.

"Good that you're all listening. Now, look up!" The voice ordered. All the ponies looked all the way up.

"Not all the way...fools..." The voice muttered. The ponies started to slowly look down. "And stop!"

The ponies all saw Plankton standing on top of a building, grinning evilly.

"Good! Now that you all see me, I have an announcement to make!" Plankton spoke as he then cleared his throat. "You, ALL of you...are now SLAVES!"

Everything was quiet, the every pony started laughing while Twilight, Spike and Fluttershy looked confused.

"Ooh!" Rainbow Dash laughed as she spoke sarcastically. "We're in BIG trouble now!"

Plankton raised his eyebrow. "Does something amuse you?"

"Yeah!" Pinkie Pie chirped, jumping high in the air. "You're so tiny! And funny! Do a little dance! That would be so cute!"

Plankton smirked. "Oh, I'll do a dance alright...by dancing on your CORPSES!!!"

Everypony gasped at Plankton's remark while Fluttershy fainted in shock.

"Oh, Fluttershy!" Rarity gasped as she and Applejack tried to help Fluttershy wake up.

Rainbow Dash growled at this and shoved her face up against Plankton. But no pony noticed that the dark clouds Spike pointed out were getting closer.

"Wait a second there, pipsqueak!" Rainbow Dash spoke, annoyed. "Who the hay do you think you are?"

"I'm Plankton, sweetheart!" Plankton yelled back. "And you better watch your tail!"

"Sweetheart?" Rainbow Dash asked, getting very annoyed. "Are you...are you really threatening me?"

"Uh, Rainbow Dash?" Twilight tried to say, noticing the dark clouds.

"Yeah, watch your tail or else, SWEETHEART!!!" Plankton smirked, crossing his arms.

"Ha!" Rainbow Dash raised her eyebrow. "You and what army?"

Plankton's eye widened. as he grinned. "Very poor choice of words." Plankton then whistled as a large gust of wind blew into Ponyville.

All of a sudden, the ponies all felt the town rumble as a dark figure landed on a nearby building. It was Strife as his hands were sparkling with electricity. 

"Greetings, Ponyville!" Strife spoke loudly as the ponies grew horrified. "I believe I have sad tidings...this is Equestria's darkest hour!!!" Strife cackled evilly as he raised his arms in the air as Lightning touched his body and began shooting all over the place.

Then, the ponies saw something in the distance. They looked like...dinosaurs! Pterodactyls began flying from every direction, followed by Brontosauruses, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus Rexes, just to name a few.

"With an army of prehistoric beasts on my side, CHAOS SHALL REIGN AGAIN FOREVER!!!!" Strife continued laughing evilly as the citizens of Ponyville quickly began running for their lives, also trying to hide in their houses. 

Plankton could only look on with a gleeful grin, as he watched evil rule on Equestria and it's subjects. "Dinosaur army, yes." 





Dinosaurs kept entering by the numbers as the darkness above only seemed to increase, Twilight was with her friends, hiding in Sugarcube Corner, while Twilight herself had her hoof around Spike, protecting him while he in return held onto Twilight.

"Alright," Twilight spoke. "Is every pony alright in here?"

Twilight's friends nodded.

"Ah just hope that Apple Bloom is okay at Sweet Apple Acres right now." Applejack said, looking out the window.

Twilight's eyes widened. "Uh, Applejack, when was the last time you saw Apple Bloom...?"

"This morning." Applejack grew concerned. "Wait, wasn't Apple Bloom hanging out with SpongeBob later today?"

"Yes..." Twilight and Applejack grew horrified. "So...that means...!"

"MY SWEETIE BELLE'S OUT THERE!!!" Rarity exclaimed as she leaped for the door to be pulled back by Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. "LET ME GO! LET ME GO!!!"

"Rarity, Strife's too powerful! He'll fry you to a crisp!" Rainbow Dash yelled, trying to pull Rarity down.

"I! DON'T! CARE!!!" Rarity shrieked breaking free of Rainbow Dash's grip, the only way being held back was her tail.

"Wait!" Twilight stood in front of Rarity. "We WILL save her. But we need to relax, and think of a way without rushing in, waiting to get hurt. Pinkie Pie! Can you help me hold her down more?"

"Uh...Pinkie Pie can't do that..." Fluttershy spoke nervously.

"Why not?" Twilight asked.

"She's gone." Fluttershy pointed to the upstairs window which was all the way open.

"What?" Twilight ran to the window and saw Pinkie Pie outside.

"Don't worry girls! I'll find 'em!" Pinkie Pie called.

"Ah!" Pinkie Pie then spotted a Pterodactyl and hopped on it's back, as if she was ready to ride it.

"Pinkie Pie! What are you doing?!" Twilight yelled.

"Ride, Cupcake!" Pinkie Pie was holding onto the Pterodactyl as it struggled to get the crazy pony off it's back before it eventually gave in and flew away in the sky.

"No! Wait!" Twilight yelled as she ran outside. "Pinkie Pie!!!" But it was too late, Pinkie Pie was out of sight. Twilight looked over at the other ponies and Spike. "Let's move."





Inside the the CMC clubhouse, Sweetie Belle was looking outside the clubhouse in fear. "Uh, girls?" Sweetie Belle asked. "You might want to see this."

"What is it?" Apple Bloom asked as she, Scootaloo and SpongeBob all walked over to the window. All their eyes widened as they saw what was outside.

"H-how did all these dinosaurs get here?" Apple Bloom asked in shock.

"It IS pretty cool though," Scootaloo said, shrugging.

"You don't think it's that Strife guy, do you?" Sweetie Belle asked, nervously. "He might hurt our sisters or Twilight!"

"M-maybe it isn how it looks!" Apple Bloom said, trying not to panic. "Maybe Strife made peace, m-maybe he's arranging some sort of theme park with all these different dinosaurs!

"M-maybe you're wrong!!!" Plankton mocked as Strife fully appeared behind them like a chameleon. The crusaders and SpongeBob all fell back in fear of Strife's appearance.

"Look at them, they're so cute it's almost sickening." Plankton smirked, appearing on Strife's shoulder. 

"Plankton?!" SpongeBob asked as he stood back.

"That's right, Spongey!" Plankton grinned. "Good to see ya!"

"Wait, you two know each other?" Apple Bloom asked.

"It's a long history." SpongeBob told Apple Bloom. 

"Now, we couldn't help but hear you having some sort of history with one Twilight Sparkle..." Strife started to say.

"Hmph! You can't tell us what to do!" Sweetie Belle snorted.

"W-w-well technically he can, it does look like he's calling the shots!" Scootaloo stammered.

"But Scootaloo," Sweetie Belle said. "You kept saying Strife is just a big wimp!"

Scootaloo grinned nervously at Strife, who was now glaring at her. "Ha! I never said that! It...it was my twin sister!"

Apple Bloom slapped her forehead.

"Oh, would you look at that!" Scootaloo yelped as she and the others tried to run from Strife. "The sun's going down! It's time to go!" 

"Oh, what are you talking about?" Strife asked as he snapped his fingers, causing the sun to rise in the air. "It's only day time! Why don't we play a little game?"

"Game?" Sweetie Belle asked as she stood back.

"Yes?" Strife grinned. "My personal favorite is one called 'The ground is made of LAVA'!!!" Strife zapped the ground, causing to crack and crumble leaving only a piece of rock for the Crusaders and SpongeBob to stand on. The girls and SpongeBob screamed in fear in sight of the lava.

Strife was about to pull another trick behind his back, until he felt something poke his back. Strife turned around and noticed Pinkie Pie smiling and waving at him.

"What?" Strife asked, annoyed.

"Hiya! I'm Pinkie Pie! And I was wondering if we could be friends and put this whole world domination thing aside! Huh? What do you say? What do you say? What do you say?"

Strife thought about it for a second as he grinned at Pinkie Pie. "Why sure! In fact! Why don't a prepare a little treat for you! Like candy! Falling from the sky!"

Pinkie Pie's eyes widened as she started hopping in the air. "RE-E-E-E-E-E-E-E-A-A-A-A-A-L-L-L-LY?!!!!" She asked excitedly.

"Well, you asked for it." Strife pointed up in the sky and candy started falling from the sky. Pinkie Pie stretched her mouth open as wide as she could as the candy started landing in her mouth, never stopping.

Strife then turned around. "Now as for yo-" Strife noticed the Crusaders and SpongeBob were gone. He looked and saw Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and SpongeBob in a red wagon being pulled Scootaloo and her scooter. Plankton jumped in front of them trying to get them to stop. "Oh, no you don-!" Plankton didn't finish as he was then run over by Scootaloo and stuck to a wheel on the wagon.

"A game of tag, eh? Alright then." Strife then started flying after them. 

As Strife flew after the Crusaders and SpongeBob, Pinkie Pie was still having her mouth filled with candy. But then she noticed Strife chasing the Crusaders' red wagon. Pinkie Pie tried to say something, but her mouth kept getting full.

"Pinkie Pie!" Pinkie Pie heard Twilight's voice as she felt getting pulled from the candy falling. Pinkie Pie swallowed the remains of candy as she looked up and saw her friends.

"Pinkie Pie, are you alright?" Fluttershy asked.

"Guys! Guys! I met Strife and he's crazy! He was doing more of bringing dinosaurs back, and making candy fall out of the sky! Okay, that part was fun!" As Pinkie Pie kept talking, Twilight's eyes widened as she noticed Strife chasing after the children. 

"Oh, no!" Twilight yelled. "It's Strife!"

"The girls are down there!" Rarity exclaimed.

"So is SpongeBob!" Fluttershy added as the ponies went after Strife.

Meanwhile, Strife was in pursuit of chasing the little ponies as he snapped his fingers. All of a sudden, the Crusaders turned into sponges, while SpongeBob turned into a pony. "Agh!" SpongeBob yelped. "Where did my fingers go?!"

"Agh!" Scootaloo yelped, looking at her fingers. "What are these things?!"

Strife snapped his fingers again and they were now surfing, then they had different colors, then they turned into road runners, then they turned realistic.

"Eww," Strife said as he snapped his fingers turning them back to normal. 

Scootaloo finally couldn't take the stress anymore as she made a huge turn right as they sped off toward a rocky path. Plankton saw where they were going. "Oh, dear!!!!" Plankton screamed as they went down the path. Plankton contented screaming in pain as they went down the rocks. The Crusaders and SpongeBob then fell out of the rocky path and back onto the ground. The Crusaders and SpongeBob all looked up and saw Strife grinning evilly at them.

"Looks like the BUCK stops here!" Strife spoke as his hand started glowing.

"Enough!" Spoke a female voice.

The Crusaders and SpongeBob all saw The Mane Six and Spike behind Strife. 

"Twilight!" Apple Bloom exclaimed, happily. Sweetie Belle sighed in relief.

"Oh," Strife grinned. "So, you're Twilight Sparkle. A little birdie told me quite a bit about you."

"Tweet-tweet-tweet!" Plankton said, weakly as he removed himself from Scootaloo's scooter.

"Stop all of this chaos at once, Strife!" Twilight said. "And leave those kids alone!"

"Or what?" Strife asked, playfully.

"We'll use these!" Spike said as he pulled out the box that held the Elements of Harmony inside them. But when Spike opened it, they were gone.

The ponies and Spike gasped. "The Elements!" Twilight whispered in fear.

"Finders, keepers!" Strife chuckled as he took out the Elements from behind his back and swallowed them whole.

"...I think we're in trouble..." Rainbow Dash gulped.

Twilight's horn started glowing. "Not yet." Twilight shot a beam towards Strife.

Strife however held his arm up, but then he jumped back when the beam hit and hurt his arm. Strife looked up surprised as Twilight snorted angrily.

"Impressive," Strife growled. He then shot a beam from his own arm towards Twilight as she shot another from her horn. Twilight used more magic as she walked towards Strife making him back down, but Strife finally stood up and used more electricity to shock Twilight back.

"Twilight!" Spike yelped as he and the others went to help Twilight up.

"Now, Twilight Sparkle, you're going with me!" Strife spoke loudly as he raised his hand for another attack. The ponies and Spike stood close to Twilight as Twilight's horn glowed, as she was always ready for another attack.

"Wait!" SpongeBob yelled as he hopped on Strife's snout.

"Huh?" Strife pulled SpongeBob off his snout as SpongeBob stood on his hand. "I know this seems like a bad time to talk, but I think this is going way too far."

"I say it's not far enough," Strife growled at SpongeBob. 

"Okay, okay." SpongeBob said, trying to think of something. "I know things have not been...the best...but we can change that!"

Strife raised an eyebrow.

"Look, I know that you didn't have the best childhood growing up," SpongeBob spoke. "But it doesn't mean we need to hold on to them forever! We can change your destiny for the better! I know we can!"

Strife looked down and began to think.

"I mean so what if your brother was raised to be evil, got more attention, but ending up getting friends while you didn't? Right?" SpongeBob looked up and saw that Strife was snarling with rage now.

"Nice try, squirt, but my destiny's where it's at now and where it's at forever!" Strife then hung SpongeBob's pants on a tree.

"But Strife, please! You don't have to do this!" SpongeBob tried to explain.

"Not now, Square-for-brains, I have somepony to capture!" Strife then grabbed Twilight's tail and hung her in the air.

"NO!" Spike yelled. "You can't take Twilight! If you take her, then you gotta take me!"

Strife raised his eyebrow again. "Alright," Strife shrugged. "I can take on a little more weight."

Strife then grabbed Spike with Twilight and threw them inside a cage. 

"Twilight!" Applejack shouted.

Twilight tried to break free from the cage with her magic, but no luck. 

"My own magic-proof cage. The things you can do with reality." Strife grinned as he picked up the cage and flew off into the clouds.

Fluttershy watched as Strife disappeared in her eyes. "Is Twilight gonna be okay?" Apple Bloom asked, walking up to Fluttershy.

Fluttershy wrapped her wing around Apple Bloom. "Of course...I hope."

Applejack and Rarity looked up at SpongeBob, who was still stuck in the tree.

"SpongeBob, dear," Rarity asked. "Are you alright?"

"This is all my fault," SpongeBob said, looking down. "If only I took this more seriously, we probably would've had a chance to stop Strife. But...now, it's too late."

The ponies felt bad for SpongeBob upon that, and Applejack lifted SpongeBob's chin up. "Hey, now, sugarcube. We all feel ya. But right now is not the time to sit around and sulk. Twilight's counting on us...She's especially counting on you." 

SpongeBob looked up. "Well...okay." 

Applejack smiled and patted SpongeBob on the head. She then turned to the rest of her friends "Alright, y'all. We better be headin' out!" 

"Yeah! Let's save Equestria!" Apple Bloom chimed in. 

"Whoa-whoa, back up." Applejack stepped in her younger sister's way. "What crawled in that itty bitty head of yours to think that?" 

"But we all wanna help!" Apple Bloom spoke up as Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo joined.  

"Ain't nothing doing, lil' sis." Applejack rose her head. "Y'all need to stay here where...it's..." Applejack paused upon seeing Ponyville in the distance. She saw the dinosaurs flying around, stomping around and roaring around causing destruction and mayhem in Ponyville. Applejack froze in fear upon this. 

"Uh, sis?" Apple Bloom asked. 

Applejack shook her head and turned to walk. "Just stay beside us and no funny stuff!" She snorted in defeat. 

The Crusaders turned to each other in excitement. "Yes!" They whispered.  

As the Crusaders raced to follow Applejack, SpongeBob still looked into the distance full of sadness worry.

"SpongeBob?" Rarity walked over and put her hoof on his shoulder in empathy. "Darling, we have to go." 

SpongeBob nodded and slowly followed. 





Meanwhile, in another part of Ponyville, a portal opened up as Sandy, Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward all landed on the ground.

"Where in the name of Davey Jones are we?" Mr. Krabs asked.

Patrick felt something move under him. "SpongeBob!" Patrick exclaimed. "Is that you?" A unicorn pulled herself from out of Patrick's bottom and ran away screaming.

"Oh no!" Patrick yelled. "I landed on a pedestrian!"

Sandy looked around in confusion. "From the looks of this place, I reckon we all landed in a dark dreary place filled with multi-colored ponies..."

"Oh, great." Squidward groaned. "Could things get even more confusing and dangerous?"

Then, in front of Squidward, stood a large Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"You know," Squidward spoke. "I feel I should stop talking altogether."

The T-Rex roared as the gang began running away from the enormous beast.



  

SpongeBob and the ponies were still traveling until they heard a voice. 

"HELP!!!!"

"Hey, I think some pony is down there!" Rainbow Dash said, looking down a hill.

"...Patrick?" SpongeBob spoke in surprise, recognizing the yell. SpongeBob ran over to where Rainbow Dash was and looked down. "Patrick! Sandy! Squidward! Mr. Krabs! They're my friends from Bikini Bottom!"

"They're YOUR friends?" Fluttershy asked. "How did they get here?"

"No time for explaining that!" Applejack said, running down the hill. "They need help!"

Patrick, Sandy, Squidward and Mr. Krabs were all cornered by the T-Rex. 

"Hey you!" Applejack yelled as she and the other ponies charged. "Leave those critters alone!"

The T-Rex roared at the ponies causing them all to fall over. Fluttershy then flew in front of the large, growling lizard.

"Listen, you! SIT!" Fluttershy ordered. The T-Rex immediately stopped growling and obeyed.

SpongeBob caught up to what was going on until he heard a familiar voice.

"SpongeBob!" Patrick exclaimed, happily. "It's really YOU!" Patrick ran over and pulled SpongeBob in for a big hug. "Thank Neptune you're alright, buddy!!!"

"I've missed you too, buddy!" SpongeBob said, being squashed by Patrick's hug.

"It's good to see you again boy!" Mr. Krabs said, patting SpongeBob on the back. "So what's been going on here?"

"Well, I was helping my new friends trying to stop an evil monster that Plankton apparently joined forces with!" SpongeBob answered.

"Plankton?" Mr. Krabs asked.

"That's right!" SpongeBob said.

As SpongeBob was explaining what was going on, Squidward was trying to get up until he noticed Pinkie Pie standing on his stomach. "Look!" Pinkie Pie said, excitedly poking Squidward's nose. "Squid Nose! Squid Nose! Squid Nose! Squid Nose!" Squidward could only watch in annoyance.

"And that's all that's happening!" SpongeBob finished his story.

"Wow, that's a lot of stuff buddy!" Patrick said. "That Strifey guy sounds like big business!"

"Well, SpongeBob," Mr. Krabs said. "If you really care about this place, we're with ye to the end."

SpongeBob was full of doubt before this but now, started to feel confident. 

"We're all with ya, bud!" Rainbow Dash winked. 

SpongeBob grinned. "Well, okay! Let's save Equestria!" 

The groups cheered (Except Squidward) for this as Pinkie Pie grew more excited. "Hooray! This world-saving adventure is getting more road-trip like by the second!"

Squidward rolled his eyes. "Dear Neptune, let this insanity stop somehow!"

"Neptune?" Rarity asked. "Who in Celestia's name is Neptune?"

"Who in Neptune's name is Celestia?" Squidward asked.

Pinkie Pie hugged both Rarity and Squidward. "Oooh! I love different universe talk!"





Meanwhile, Strife was flying through the clouds, still holding the cage that held Twilight and Spike. 

"Just what are you planning to do to us?" Twilight asked Strife in anger.

"Oh, you'll see Twilight." Strife spoke, evilly. "You'll see." Strife flew down from the clouds and down towards Canterlot.

Strife entered through a dark window in Canterlot's building. "Oh, Celestia!" Strife called out.

The lights turned on and they revealed Celestia in a cage.

"Princess Celestia!" Twilight called out.

"Twilight!" Celestia spoke in shock.

"Oh, how deeply moving." Plankton spoke in fake sympathy as Strife dropped Twilight and Spike's cage in front of Celestia's.

"Don't you dare think of harming them!" Celestia yelled.

"Harm them?" Strife asked. "Why I never thought of doing that, no. I have a much better idea in store for these two. I am going to give them what you gave me without a second thought, years ago! Dungeon for life!!!"

Twilight gasped at that as Spike hid behind her. "Let's just hope Luna is planning something right now!"

Strife paused as Celestia's eyes widened. "Luna?" Strife asked.

"Yeah, Princess Celestia's sister!" Spike answered.

"SISTER?!" Strife yelled angrily.

Spike realized this was bad and immediately put his claws over his mouth. Plankton leaned into Spike. "I'd be scared too, kid. When he gets angry, yeesh." 

"There's a sister of yours?" Strife roared. "Guards! Take these two away! I have more things to do!" 

"Strife, you can't do this! This isn't fair!" Celestia spoke.

"FAIR?!" Strife flew up on top of Celestia's cage and began crawling around it like a snake. "You think you know what unfair feels like? Unfair is spending eternity alone while the evil brother who got more attention is the one who gets to have friends! Well, my chance to rise to the top has finally come and no sister or student of yours can stop me!!!" With a cackle, he flew into the air and pointed to Plankton. "You! Double the guards, tell them to not rest until this other princess is found!"

"But what about the other princess?" Plankton asked.

"I'll keep my eye on her, so she doesn't escape." Strife spoke as he hissed at Celestia.

Plankton hopped up on the balcony and looked down at all the dinosaurs. "Alright, troops! New orders from the almighty Strife!" The dinosuars all looked up to Plankton. "Search high and low for the Princess Luna and bring her here! And more importantly, no carnivore acts on each other. Yes, Frank. I'm talking to you."

All the herbivores all glared at Frank the T-Rex as he shrugged nervously. 





Twilight and Spike were placed in a dungeon deep below in Canterlot, similar to the one Strife was placed in, and just like before, this one was magic-proof. Spike was pulling as hard as he can on the bars trying to break them.

"Spike, it's no use," Twilight said, looking down. "I already tried numerous spells an hour now."

"No!" Spike said. "It's alright! I'm sure everything's alright! Everything is not so bad! Right? Right?!"

Twilight looked concerned. "Spike, are you alright?" Twilight asked.

"Of course I am, I mean, we've been up against bad guys before and we beat 'em! The whole underground dungeon where no pony can hear us is new though!" Spike said, trying to force a grin.

Twilight pulled Spike close. "If it helps, Spike. I'm pretty scared too." Spike, then finally rested his head against Twilight's chest. "While this may seem dark and scary, I know somehow, we're going to be okay."

"You really think so?" Spike asked.

"I know so." Twilight answered. "Pretty soon, this will all seem nothing more then a bad dream." Spike then yawned a little as Twilight nuzzled him. She then began to sing. But while feeling a bit scared herself, Twilight thought she could hear Celestia from her cage singing to her.

(Replace 'Gonna make you proud someday' with 'Don't be looking down that way')


Once Twilight was done singing, Spike had drifted off to sleep. Twilight then kissed Spike on the forehead and rested with him, hoping herself that things would be alright.

With SpongeBob and his friends, it was now night time and they were sleeping under a tree, but ready to wake up for action in the morning. SpongeBob was tossing and turning in his sleep, he was still worried about how to stop Strife, since he was all-powerful. But then, SpongeBob heard a voice.

"SpongeBob..."

SpongeBob's eyes woke up and he saw he was floating in the air, in darkness.

"SpongeBob..."

"W-who said that?!" SpongeBob asked afraid. A bright light then flashed before SpongeBob's eyes. He looked up and saw huge clouds taking shape before Princess Luna's head emerged from them. 

"Oh, it's you!" SpongeBob said, smiling. "Princess...princess...I'm sorry, just give me a minute-"

"You can call me Luna." Luna's voice echoed as she smiled at him.

"Excuse me, Luna," SpongeBob asked. "Where are we? Am I dreaming?"

"Yes," Luna spoke. "I have the power to enter your dreams as the Princess of the Night."

"Whoa," SpongeBob stared up at the majestic alicorn in the sky until a thought came to him. "Huh...I could've sworn I did that once."

Luna chuckled, causing SpongeBob to blush. "Quite the imaginative one. But now, is the time to awaken." 

"How do I do that?" SpongeBob asked. All of a sudden, a Krabby Patty appeared in front of him.

"What the-?" SpongeBob picked up the Krabby Patty in curiosity. Then, the bun of the Krabby Patty opened up revealing a naked Patrick. "Hi, SpongeBob!"





"AAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!!!!" SpongeBob woke up screaming in fear. SpongeBob breathing heavily looked around and saw Patrick and the rest of his friends were still sleeping. SpongeBob sighed in relief.

"SpongeBob." SpongeBob looked up and saw Luna looking down at him.

SpongeBob was about to scream in surprise, but Luna put her hoof over his mouth. "Please don't scream again."

SpongeBob nodded at that as Luna removed her hoof. "Luna, what happened? Where's your sister?" SpongeBob asked.

"Strife took over all of Equestria and he was my sister, Twilight and Spike in captivity." Luna answered. "Right now, he probably has guards looking for me."

"That's terrible!" SpongeBob exclaimed.

"But don't worry." Luna assured. "I know a secret way under the Canterlot Castle."





Luna now had SpongeBob and the others on her back as she was flying towards Canterlot.

"How long is this going to be?" Squidward asked. "Birds keep flying on my head!"

"We're just about there," Luna answered. 

In the distance, Canterlot was covered in darkness and guarded by dinosaurs.

The gang were hiding on top of a building as Luna was watching what was going on with Pinkie Pie's binoculars.

"There's Celestia," Luna whispered. Celestia was still in her cage as Strife was standing at the balcony, pacing back and forth for reports on where Luna would be.

"Twilight and Spike would probably be underground." Luna said.

"We got a find someway to free them without Strife noticing!" SpongeBob said. "But we need a distraction!"

"But what?" Rainbow Dash asked.





Meanwhile, Strife was looking over his balcony. He was waiting for more information about Luna, until he heard something.

"Strife!" Plankton called. Plankton hopped onto the balcony and looked up at Strife. "Now that we got you in control, why don't we talk about what I want, now?"

Strife wasn't paying attention to Plankton as he spoke. "Oh, yes, sure, whatever..."

Plankton grinned. "Well, I-" Plankton stopped when he felt Equestria rumble. He and Strife looked up and saw a Brontosaurus walking towards them with Patrick and Pinkie Pie on his head.

"Hey, Strifey! Check this out!" Pinkie Pie called.

Patrick then swallowed a flashlight as Pinkie Pie pulled out a radio. Patrick's eyes then glowed like a flashlight as he and Pinkie Pie began dancing to rave music.

"What the-?" Strife asked in confusion.





While that was going on, Luna was with the ponies underground as they found Twilight and Spike's cell.

"Psst, Twilight!" Luna whispered.

Twilight woke up and saw her friends before her and Spike. "Girls!" Twilight exclaimed happily.

"Twilight!" The Crusaders said as they jumped on Twilight sharing a hug with her.

"Oh, I'm so glad you're alright," Twilight wrapped her hooves around the Crusaders as Apple Bloom nuzzled her neck. "We're glad you're alright, too!"

"What's going on?" Twilight asked.

"There's no time, we have to get out while we have the chance!" Luna answered.





Meanwhile, Strife was still being distracted by Pinkie Pie and Patrick as Celestia was still in her cage. "Celestia!" Whispered Twilight's voice. Celestia looked and saw Twilight, Spike and SpongeBob sneaking up to her cage.

"Twilight, are you alright?" Celestia asked.

"We'll all be soon!" Twilight answered as she put her horn in the cage lock, trying to find a way to open it.

"We have to get those bunny slippers off him!" Celestia whispered. "I watched closely and those are what give him his power!" 

None of them noticed that Plankton heard the talking and saw them. Plankton gasped and was about to yell Strife's name until Apple Bloom jumped in and put Plankton in a jar.  But, Plankton used his might to push the jar out of Apple Bloom's hooves and tried to get away from the filly. Plankton then accidentally knocked a vase over as it shattered on the floor.

Strife was startled by the sound and was about to turn around...until Patrick pulled his shorts down. Almost everyone was in shock at what happened. Even Twilight covered Spike's eyes.

"Alright! What is going-?!" Strife was about to continue yelling until a piece of the vase rolled under his foot, causing him to slip. Strife looked up and saw the gang with nervous looks.

"YOU!!!" Strife yelled as he fired an electrical beam at them but missed. Strife had his eyes on SpongeBob as he flew after him. SpongeBob quickly ran over to the balcony jumped onto the ground with Strife in pursuit.

"GET BACK HERE! GET BACK HERE!" Strife yelled as he fired again at SpongeBob. But then SpongeBob stopped in his tracks.

"Enough!" SpongeBob ordered as he pulled out the wand and book Celestia gave him. "This is between you and me."

Strife narrowed his eyes. "Very well." Strife fired another beam at SpongeBob, but he quickly blocked it with his wand.

Strife looked surprised, but still kept himself ready. SpongeBob used his wand to fire at Strife, but Strife used his magic to fire back at SpongeBob. It was going like this for a few times until Strife managed to knock the book and wand out of SpongeBob's hands. Strife leaned closer on SpongeBob as he backed up against a rock.

"It looks like you're out of ideas." Strife grinned.

"Not yet!" SpongeBob said. "NOW!"

Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy then flew in and wrapped a bunch of ropes around Strife causing him to fall over, similar to their fight with the giant.  This gave enough time for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy to fly in and pull the slippers off Strife's feet.

"NO!" Strife yelled. Then, the energy from the slippers sparked into the sky and in a bright light everything that Strife did to Equestria was restored to normal. 

Everypony cheered for their victory as they also jumped on SpongeBob for a group hug. "We did it! We did it!" Pinkie Pie cheered.

"Equestria is back to normal!" Rainbow Dash added.

While every pony was celebrating, Strife narrowed his eyes. He wasn't about to be beaten so easily. Strife noticed a dark looking cloud in the distance.  He flew up, grabbed it and pulled out a lightning bolt.

"Don't think you've won yet!" Strife laughed. "I can use this to make everything mine again! Bunny slippers or not!"

"Boy, that could've been worded better." Plankton said.

Strife was about to strike the bolt into the ground until it started to shake. Strife fell on his back as he looked up and saw a huge figure rise out of the ground.

"Oh, when this chaos end?!" Squidward yelled in panic. Then a familiar figure popped up in Squidward's face.

"Why not?" Discord asked. Squidward then fainted in shock.

"Discord!" Fluttershy said happily.

"In the flesh!" Discord bowed. Discord then turned around and saw Strife on the ground.

"Why, hello, brother!" Discord said, happily.  "It's been a while!"

"I'll say it has!" Strife growled, bitterly as he turned around.

Discord stood back at Strife's tone. "Okay, look, Strife. Perhaps I should explain why I am here. It started back while I was on my vacation."

Discord was taking a soap bath while scrubbing his back with water, singing.

Discord: Spider-Mare, Spidermare, Pinkie and me will be there at midnight,

All of a sudden, a letter appeared in front of Discord. He then grabbed the letter and decided to read it.

"It was a letter from the dragon sent by someone named, uh...Square-Bob!" Discord continued.

"It's SpongeBob!" SpongeBob corrected.

"Oh, right, apologies." Discord quickly said. "He told me what you have been doing."

Strife pretended not to pay attention as he started to cringe, waiting for the worst.

"And I want to say..." Discord started. "I'm sorry."

Strife's eyes widened. "Uh...what?" Strife said, still not turning around.

"I was taking too much credit from our parents, I admit that. But I never wanted you to be left out." Discord continued. "From that moment I saw you again after being reformed, I thought we could fix it up just like that. But, I was wrong. It really left a mark I thought would be easy to fix. But, please. I never intended it to go like this. Do you really think it was easy for me being alone too?"

While Discord talked, something inside Strife opened up that hasn't been opened for a long time. Strife looked down at his hands. He then felt a paw on his shoulder.

"I want to make it right." Discord said.

Strife smiled at that. "I...uh..." Strife started to say. "I...well..."

"It's alright." Discord said. "We forgive you...now, about the Elements..."

Strife looked confused. But his eyes widened in realization. "Oh, right!" Strife then took a deep breath as a dark rumble was heard in his stomach. Strife then spit out the Elements on the ground, as they appeared with a bad smell.

"It'll get clean." Strife chuckled, nervously.

"NO! NO!" Plankton yelled. "This isn't right! This isn't right at all! This was supposed to be MY day! It was supposed to be MY time to shine!" Plankton then grabbed the slippers from Rainbow Dash and put them on himself.

"Now let's see who's weak and puny!" Plankton raised his hands up, waiting for power, but nothing. "Oh, right, they don't work for me." Plankton then noticed the Crusaders looking down at him.

"Well, I guess I got some explaining to do, huh?" Plankton asked, nervously.

"Look at that," Apple Bloom said, grabbing Plankton by his leg. "So cute, it's almost sickening."

Plankton chuckled nervously at that as Scootaloo grabbed his antennas with her mouth and let go, causing him to go flying in the air screaming, and then finally in a jar held by Mr. Krabs. 

"He won't be doing any trouble HERE, anymore." Mr. Krabs chuckled.





It was soon time for SpongeBob to go, but first, SpongeBob was in the Canterlot hall, alone with the Crusaders.

"So, girls, I'm afraid I have to go soon," SpongeBob said, looking down. "I wish I could be here to see you get your Cutie Marks."

"It's alright, SpongeBob." Apple Bloom spoke up. "When we get them, we'll be sure to think of you!"

"Yeah!" Sweetie Belle added. "We'll be able to bring it around town like you said!"

"But we'll still miss you," Scootaloo said, walking up.

SpongeBob shed a small tear. "I will too," SpongeBob and the Crusaders embraced. "No matter what anyone says, you'll always have special talents to me."





The portal was open for SpongeBob and his friends to go home as the Mane Six, Spike, the Princesses, the Crusaders, Discord and Strife watched.

"Goodbye SpongeBob, we'll be sure to remember what you did." Celestia bowed.

SpongeBob smiled at that as he turned to Twilight.

"Twilight," SpongeBob said. "I'm really gonna miss you."

"I will too, SpongeBob." Twilight said. She looked suprised as SpongeBob gave her a big hug, but she wrapped her hooves around him sharing the embrace.

"Aww, everyone! Over here, group hug, everyone! Group hug!" Pinkie Pie chirped as she grabbed everyone for a group hug.





It was now a month after the events with SpongeBob and Strife, As Twilight was finishing up a letter for Celestia with Spike's help.

Dear, Princess Celestia, ever since I met SpongeBob, I've learned a great lesson. Just because someone is from a different world or place, doesn't mean they're all bad or mean or even weird, they can bring something truly grand to your life and your friendship, one world, or another, or any kind, we could all be the same.
