Luna and celestia has enjoyed being together when they were fillies. But Luna turned to nightmare moon. And Celestia misses her sister and does evrything she can to bring her back.

Luna and celestia has enjoyed being together when they were fillies. But Luna turned to nightmare moon. And Celestia misses her sister and does evrything she can do to bring her back. - Will celestia get her sister back, or will Nightmare moon take over Luna for the rest of her life. - PS: this story will have to endings, a happy one and a sad one.
Long ago, when Luna and Celestia were still fillies, the two sisters would always share their time together, they read books, played games, do something they both L❤VE. They always spend their time together, help each other when one of them is in trouble. Take care of each other when they're sick. They loved each other from deep inside their hearts. No pony can ruin their relationship, Luna and Celestia would always look after each other. The sisters are always there for each other.
Years Passed
Luna and Celestia ruled Equestria with peace and harmony. But one day, Luna became jealous of her older sister. She wanted to rule Equestria all by her self. The darkness in Luna's heart has turned her to powerful and wicked mare. Which, now she is called Nightmare Moon. She used her dark magic and has defeated Celestia. Celestia was brought to her castle. Celestia layed weak and injured in her room. Celestia's room was decorated with pictures of her and Luna's childhood. Seeing those pictures made Celestia cry."sister, why now, why today, why have you changed, please come back" Celestia cried, but obviously her sister didn't hear her.

Due to Celestia's injury, Nightmare Moon took over Equestria. She made it impossible for ponies to try and stop her. Luna, which is now Nightmare moon, is more powerful than she was ever before. "The night shall last forever, and nopony would be able to stop me, now you shall bow before me, for I am your new princess." Nightmare Moon said. A brave unicorn stood up against Nightmare Moon. "YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CONTROL EQUESTRIA THAT EASY!" said the pony. Nightmare Moon started laughing, not a happy laugh, but an evil one. "none of you ponies could defeat me" nightmare moon said in a loud, terrifying voice, since then everypony feared her. Even a single pony is afraid to get out of their home. Everypony stayed indoors. Ponies still played, eat, sleep, but they do all things with FEAR.
It took a week for Celestia to recover. After she has recovered, she went straight to find Luna, and she found Luna in the castle lobby. Nightmare Moon saw Celestia and she became angry, so she used all her strength to defeat Celestia. Celestia was defeated, but wasn't injured. Celestia had no choice but to use the elements of Harmony to defeat her sister. Using her horn and the elements of harmony, she had a battle with her sister. Celestia didn't want to do this, but she has no other choice, using the elements of Harmony and her magic she was been able to defeat Luna, and banished her to the moon. Since then, Celestia has to take responsibility between the Sun and the Moon. Everypony was happy, except for Celestia, she didn't want to banish her sister, but she had no choice.
During night time, when everypony is asleep, Celestia will go to her balcony, and she would look up to the moon, with tears she would say "oh dear sister, I didn't mean for any of this to happen, but you have given me no choice but to banish you into the moon using the elements of harmony, you have given me no choice but to do what I don't want to, Oh dear sister, I hope you'll hear what I say, and come back to my heart", after Celestia said all that, she went to sleep.
In Celestia's dream, she saw herself and her sister in the past. It was a memory, but she dreamt about it , all the good times, they once had. Celestia woke up, she went to her balcony and looked at the moon and said"Oh dear sister, I'm giving you a second chance" Celestia said. Using her horn she cast a spell, "In the longest day of the thousandth year, the stars would aid in your escape" Celestia said. She stared at the beautiful glowing moon, and tears fell in her eyes, again.

"Well, well, well, so my sister has given me a second chance, guess I'll have to wait for that long" Nightmare Moon said. "But now I have a lot of years to perfect my plan, and grow my powers stronger" she said. Nightmare Moon started making plans. She tested her power, everytime. The nightmare forces would cheer for her, Nightmare Moon was everyday more ready to refurn to Equestria and bring everlasting night.

In the morning, Celestia used her powers to make the sun rise. Ponies tried to make Celestia happy, Celestia smiles, but she isn't happy in the inside, because she had to banish her own sister. The summer sun celebration was declared on the day when Celestia had defeated Nightmare Moon, and everypony celebrate that special day every year. But to Celestia, summer sun celebration is just a reminder for her that she had to banish her own sister into the moon, although she didn't want to do it, but she had to. All those days Celestia would ask herself. "why has she done that, why had she turn her back from me, was there something I had done that wasn't loving, cariing or anything?" Celestia looked up to the sky, remembering the times that they were a happy family. Celestia treasured the old times, the times when Luna and Celestia was a filly. Celestia looked to the moon everynight and remind herself that her sister would return. Celestia also knew that her dear sister which is now nightmare moon, will come to Equestria to bring everlasting night. Celestia cried for her dear sister. "oh Luna, please come back, come back to me" Celestia whispered to herself. Celestia looked up to the sky, and, as she always do, remember the past.

Everypony started preparing for the summer sun celebration. Everypony was excited to see princess Celestia raise the sun, so all ponies are doing their best to make the celebration fantastic. What the ponies didn't know that there won't be a "summer sun celebration" this year. Nopony has recalled the legend, the legend of Nightmare Moon's return.

The next day, the ponies were all going to the place to where princess Celestia is going to arrive. As they all waited, the ponies lift up the curtains, and to their surprise, Princess Celestia has gone missing. Instead of a white mare appearing behind the curtains, was another mare of the same hight as Celestia's. This mare had a black coat, a blue starry mane and tail that flows like Celestia's. Nightmare Moon looked at everypony in that area. "Do you ponies know why I'm here, does any of you ponies recall the legend?, didn't you see the signs?" Nightmare Moon asked in a terryfying voice. Everyony was speechless and frightened. "I am here to bring everlasting night, and you would never see your precious sun, and your princess!" Nightmare Moon said, which made ponies a lot more scared. Nightmare Moon laughed, an evil laugh. Nightmare Moon left that area and went to Celestia, everypony hid inside their homes, locking all the door, for they fear Nightmare Moon.

"Sister let me go!" Celestia demanded. Nightmare moon laughed, "you really are funny, aren't you?" Nightmare moon said. Celestia growled "you have to let me go!" Celestia demanded again. "What made you think I'm going to free you just like that" Nightmare Moon said with a chuckle, "I guess you are so unsmart" Nightmare Moon said, yet again with a chuckle. "Now if you will excuse me, I have some unfinished bussiness in ruling Equestria" Nightmare Moon said, then she left. Celestia has time for herself, she can escape while Nightmare Moon was gone. First she tried using her magic that didn't work, she realized that the cage was magic proof, which means her power is useless against the cage. Next she tried kicking the cage, but it ended up with no result at all. Then she found a stick beside her. Celestia gathered up all the power she can get and carried the stick up, with a weak power, she put the stick by the lock and tried opening it, which is hard because every minute she is losing her power. But in about 30 minutes, the padlock unlocked, and Celestia was been able to get out and get all her powers and magic back. The cage which was made in Nightmare Moon's dark magic just disappeared. So Celestia left that place and fly around Equestria until she finds her sister.

Celestia still can not find her sister, until she was in ponyville. Nightmare Moon was in ponyville, she's doing things that Celestia can't tell. It is too hard to describe what Nightmare Moon is doing to the ponies. So Celestia flew down to ponyville to talk to her sister. "Luna, you must stop this now, lower the moon for the ponies will die without sunshine!" Celestia said. "Luna, Luna, Luna. Luna is gone you fool" Nightmare Moon said in an irritated voice. "I am Nightmare Moon, Luna is gone and she'll forever be, and there is nothing you could do to bring her back!" Nightmare Moon said in a way that's angry and irritated. "I don't believe you, I know that Luna is there inside, I know that, you Nightmare forces can't control my sister that easy, and Equestria will need a ruler like Luna, but not you Nightmare Moon!" Celestia said. "OH - IT - IS - ON!..." Nightmare moon said "Meet me at our old castle, we will battle horn - to - horn, and prepare to lose, Celestia" Nightmare continued saying. " Fine!, but I doubt that I will lose" Celestia said.
Celestia prepared herself for the horn - to - horn battle against Nightmare Moon. When Celestia was ready to battle against Nightmare Moon, she went and flew down to her, and Luna's old castle. As she arrived, she saw Nightmare Moon has already arrived. "Hmm... to make this battle challenging, I order it to have a storm while we battle" Nightmare Moon said, as Nightmare said those words, the clouds darkened ☁, lightning struck the land ⚡, drops of rain started to fall, even snow fell from the sky ❄. Celestia saw it all hapened, and the temperature started to drop, all of Equestria was suddenly in a freezing temperature. Nightmare Moon then saw Celestia. "Ah, you have arrived" Nightmare Moon said. Celestia nodded in response. "Well then, let's get it ON!" Nightmare Moon said, together with a strike of lightning.
The two alicorns started running from the opposite end, both of them using their magical horn, then they opened up their wings, then they both flew upwards, and as they flew, their magic striked against each other, Celestia's power was shining bright, while Nightmare Moon's power was darker than her night. As the sisters fight, Nightmare Moon's power was strong that Nightmare Moon's power went straight to Celestia, and has defeated her. Celestia layed there to the ground, lifelessly. Celestia's last words were "What have you done?". Nightmare Moon chuckled, but then, she started remembering the past, the time before she turned to Nightmare Moon. Then Nightmare Moon started to cry, "Oh dear sister, I am so sorry" Nightmare Moon said, but in the voice of princess Luna. As she tears drop from her eyes, a bright light ☀ started shining against Nightmare Moon's body, as the light remained bright, almost blinding everypony from seeing it, Nightmare Moon has returned to who she was before, princess Luna. As the light faded, Celestia layed there, lifeless. Luna cried "There has to be a way, there just have to" Luna said. Using her horn, she used a powerful spell, that undo what had happened. Luna undo her sister's death. And as the sun rise, Celestia was, once again, alive. Since that they on, Equestria was in peace and harmony. Celestia and Luna stayed as sisters, good sisters for the rest of their lives.
