> 1. Bowser Explores!

In the lava land west of Equestria, there stands the castle of the mighty Bowser. Throughout the mushroom Kingdom, very close by, he had set up hundreds of fortified fortresses with his armies, and very powerful airships. But many troops stay at the huge, ugly castle, where Bowser sits on his throne, doing nothing but very powerful dark magic spells. He would often steal the princess of the mushroom kingdom, Peach. But not only is she on vacation, but she took Mario and Luigi with her as well, suspecting Bowser's troops could be marching up an alley or something. 

One day, he is tired of sitting around like a couch potato, and announces. "Me and Bowser Jr. will explore surrounding places, I'm tired of the same old lava place." 

"But sir, wouldn't you like some koopas with you on a airship?"

"I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SAY THAT! YOU FOOL! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR KING'S MIND TELLS YOU! DO YOU?!" 

"S..si...sir, please calm down, one more of that and..."gulp"...you might just throw away your authority!"

"Hmmmm, you do have a point, order fifty koopas to come with me and my son on a airship and we'll scout around."

So, without another word, Bowser, Bowser Jr. and fifty koopas prepare to board the biggest airship in their fleet. The goombas and remaining koopas wish their leader good luck on their journey, and to travel safely. The Koopa king accepted the phrase of his subjects, and boarded the ship with the small troop. Bowser Jr. the mastermind of mechanics and robots, and, well, driving airships, and the head of his father's army, was preparing to start the motors of the old flying machine. Many think that Bowser Jr. will be a great success at taking over the world, because that is what his dad wants. 

As the motor begins to start, the crowd witnessing the action starts chanting a spirit through the mighty magician kamak, who then shoots it into the air, causing a firework of magic raining down from the sky, the crowd then cheers, they get a show as well! But while the crowd celebrated, Bowser's aircraft lifted off the ground and started to defy gravity, flying through the air before heading towards the borders of Bowser's mighty Kingdom.

As the scouting trip begins, Bowser Jr. has some questions in his mind, would they war against the country his dad wanted to have? Nervously, he asks his mighty father. "Will we war against the country that you want under your control?"

"Of course my son. Why not?" Bowser replied, and it was the reply Bowser Jr. hoped for as well. 

"Stop the ship here! We made it to the border. Now let's start with the country to the north!" As they approach the north border, the koopas eyes widen in alarm. "What a filthy country! What is that anyway?!" They spotted in the distance a very dark, filthy country, with flying horse shaped figures with sharp teeth with dark magics. "Send some spies in there, see how they like it, and they'll tell us if they think we can capture the country." The order was made, and three koopas were sent into the country where their ruler was a queen, with a horn and body so badly beaten up that she was a warmonger most likely.

As the spies explore the land, the airship moves to the western country, where the flowers wilted, and where the inhabitants had technology that polluted the place. Ounce again spies were sent into the country to check the place out. But the airship ounce again moved on, to find the spies of the north, limping to the airship.

"Are you ok?"

"No."

"What happened out there?!"

The queen with her army attacked, with such force it knocked us out and, well, by the time we woke up, we saw that we needed to get out of there, fast!"

"Why?!"

"The queen was firing rounds at us."

"So it's settled, the northern country will be left alone. But if we find a country I want, that is very weak, we'll take it with the army we have!" 

"Dad, that would be quite foolish, if we suffer defeat, you'll never rule over the country, we'll have to go back and get the rest of the army ready for whatever is in store for us, and if it means waiting a few days, it means that father."

Stunned and taken aback from his son's brave advice, he then realizes, he is right, if the army is not strong enough, he might get killed.

"Very well, but we must finish the task at hand, to the southern country!" Off the airship went.

The southern country, in what appears to be a lava age, was covered with volcanos and much more. But the koopa king sent some spies there anyway, not caring if the country was his. But was certain that he was going to explode with rage if he doesn't find a country he likes. 

But when they reached the eastern and final country. There was a sign saying, "Welcome To Equestria!" on it. But the place was nothing but desert, and sand.

"Eh, are you sure about this dad?"

"Positive, sent the final spies, then return to the castle."

The order was carried out, and the spies entered the eastern country. Then the airship returned to the ugly castle of the mighty Bowser.

After a few days, the spies from the western, southern, and eastern countries return. 

"Oh great, hopefully good reports." Thought the mighty koopa king. After the first two country's reports, both western and southern, both set of spies say this excuse. 

"The country is too strong."

But the eastern scouts bring more cheerful reports, saying that the country, on the eastern, northern, and southern sides, and sort of the western side, was fruitful, full of many inhabitants, and this was what Bowser wanted them to say, that the country was weak. 

"Oh, I want that country, called what again? Equesr...Equestri....Eques.....Equestria! That country is beautiful, I'm believing the scouts, and I hope that Mario doesn't find out, or he'll treat me like a criminal again."

"Uh, dad, you are a criminal."

"Oh, oh well, I'll just make a quick journey to the vacation place of Mario and Peach, and Mario's brother, Luigi, and trap them there, with a invisible wall! Yes! So evil!" 

"Um, not really dad, but killing people is! Just like what the army is trained for."

"Well, I'll be off!" Then within a blink of a eye, Bowser disappears. 

"La la la la la la, hmm hmm hmm, da da da da da...omf! What was that?" Mario, taking a peaceful stroll, hits something in the clear open. 

"Hmm, how will I get my drink now?! Arghhh! ARGHHHHHHHHHH! Wha...No! I'm not a mime!" 

As people give money to Mario for what they think is a funny show they are watching, Bowser quietly sneaks away and returns to the castle he calls home, where his son is waiting for him.

"Well, about time!" Bowser Jr. smirked at his father, he was so bloodthirsty right now to lead thousands of mighty airships against Equestria. 

"Son, wait, we need ten thousand goombas and koopas first!"

"One step ahead of you dad!"

"Alright then, let's go take the land!"
> 2. Airship Armada

Near Appleloosa, the closet city to the border of Equestria, many ponies were preparing for the harvest season, when in the distance, their are flying things in the sky.

Bowser Jr. lead the airships with pride with his own, miniature airship, for he was the leader of the koopa army, and he wanted the entire country to his father to rule. 

"Alas! The first city! Today, the country will be in my father's hands!" And with that, Bowser Jr. from his little miniature airship, took a shot from his cannons, the shot signaled the koopa army to use very deadly force against the small country town. Bowser Jr.'s shot hit the side of a building, but soon hundreds of cannon balls were destroying houses, and damaging crops.

Soon everypony was panicking that many were scattered throughout Appleloosa, only to be chased and cornered by koopas with bomb-ups in their hands. Goombas start breaking into houses with the butt of their swords, when they break in, the residents are quickly defeated. 

Bowser Jr. then goes down himself, shooting fireballs, not as big as his dad's, but still do effective damage, setting seven houses on fire. 

Meanwhile, in a untouched building.

"This is not good, we need to surrender!"

So Appleloosa is soon belonging to Bowser, and he sets up a fortified fortress, with seven hundred koopas and dry bones to let ponies know that the city is Bowser's, while his son pushes the rest of the army on.

In another city, rumors spread about the fall of Appleloosa, and many fear they're next. That prediction comes true in less than a heartbeat, when hundreds of cannon balls hurl through buildings and goombas and koopas rush in with swords in their hands. Goombas hold their swords, somehow. 

"Men! Go! Make my father's authority stronger!!!" Soon, some airships land on the ground, and hundreds of koopas rush in, some flied to take out the pegisi, and others took out the unicorns and earth ponies.

Some ponies were waving white flags of surrender, but Bowser Jr. had the brutal attack kept going, and fired some cannon balls at the weakest spots to make sure every inhabitant feared his father, that was what he was trained for as a soldier, and that was what he was trained to do as the mighty ruler's son.

Many fillies were scared to death by the current events. Some fall into the trap planned by Bowser Jr. with koopas surrounding them, they were doomed, and their lives were in the koopas hands. "Well, well, if it isn't the local children of this city, you should be very scared and should fear our mighty ruler, for he will decide your fate, if you have one, he he he he!" While the koopa laughed, he pointed his blade at the little unicorns, pegisi, and earth ponies. 

But while the trap was carried out, Bowser Jr. ran up to the koopa and blocked the koopa's swinging sword.

"NO! HOW DARE YOU?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT MY FATHER WILL LOSE IF YOU KILL THESE INNOCENT KIDS?! JUST FOR THAT YOU WILL DIE!" 

"Please, be merciful to be like you are to these kids! Let your father decide my fate, for you already decided the children's fate."

Soon the brave son agrees to take the case to his father, but they needed to finish conquering the country first, including this city. So the siege continues until the city surrenders, and soon ounce again a fortress is set up, and ounce again, hundreds of koopas go into the military base until the country is captured. 

The airships move on to a city called Las Pegasus, many of the inhabitants were shocked and scared from the uprising of a country west from Equestria, and soon figured out that the army was very close by. But before they could predict where the army was, a loud explosion erupted and started a very bad fire, and soon an army of koopas rushed into the city, trapping many ponies and destroying buildings, while the airships fired many rounds of cannon balls .

The fillies were with their parents and guardians while the soldiers moved closer and closer, trapping them in an alley, and from the orders of Bowser Jr. kept them their into surrender.

The city was forced to surrender when every building was ether damaged or destroyed, because they couldn't hide in the open, and the remains of the building won't work ether. So the battle was another victory, but without rest, the airships leave koopas to set up a base until the rest of the country is captured in battle.

After capturing two more cities, they reach the crystal empire, where the crystal ponies, fearful that a new ruler would cause lots of chaos, rely on the crystal heart to save them, at first the heart prevented the airships to come in, but soon, the airships used cannon balls to break in. 

Learning that the city's protection was the crystal heart under the castle in the middle of the empire, Bowser Jr. charges towards the heart, an army of one thousand koopas behind him follow, protecting him from the crystal pony soldiers trying to fight back. Bowser Jr. finds the heart, and swipes it, then signals the airships to retrieve him and take the city.

Ounce back on his airship, Bowser Jr. led the airships to the castle where, they found a balcony and broke into the castle. "If there is someone ruling the place, come out now!" But nothing appeared before the armed koopas. "Cowards! Come out! Now!" But still, no response, or movements traced. 

Soon the koopas run through the halls, searching for someone, anyone, in the castle. But the soldiers were so far unsuccessful. Until they find a winged unicorn, and another unicorn, with daggers approaching the koopas, caught off guard, the koopas retreat, but when the winged unicorn thought she and her husband, the unicorn, had the intruders trapped on the balcony, the koopas jump. Landing on Bowser Jr.'s airship hidden under the balcony. Bowser Jr. then appears before the princess and unicorn. 

"Did you just try...to KILL MY SOLDIERS?!!!!" The couple backed up nervously, they had just made a powerful general angry.

"JUST BECAUSE OF THIS, YOU'LL NEVER SEE THIS KINGDOM AGAIN!!!!!!" While he was yelling the statement, he fired four shots at the couple, hitting the balcony, the balcony started to crack, and soon the balcony started to fall, when it hit the ground, the couple was knocked out, and soon koopa soldiers surround the destroyed balcony, they loaded the couple onto Bowser Jr.'s airship, which landed near the remains of the balcony after firing the cannon balls.

Many of the crystal ponies weep because their rulers and protection were captured by a very powerful army, and they soon surrender to Bowser Jr. knowing the price is their lives if they make him angry. Soon Bowser Jr. makes a speech before taking off again to capture the rest of the country. "Today, you and the rest of the country will fall into my father's hands, and just remember something, he will be more angry than me if something offends him, you have been warned!" Soon after that, koopas make a military base until the entire country is captured.

The Airships move east towards Manehatten, the rumors were spreading even more about the powerful attack. But the ponies were so scared of them they would not go to stop the threat. Soon huge explosions erupted from Manehatten, Bowser's army was attacking the place, this time, Bowser Jr. fired homing bullet bills and bomb-ups into the city, and sent boos, hammer, boomerang, and fire bros, and dry bones as well with the koopas and goombas to capture the big city close to the sea. 

But the attack was not as strong as the other attacks, because they were running out of soldiers. Soon the airships were the ones doing the most damages and not the soldiers themselves. The city started raising white flags, but Bowser Jr. wasn't satisfied, he then jumped from his airship and started leading attacks against many buildings and city leaders. 

Soon the city was waving hundreds of white flags of surrender. But Bowser Jr. wanted to do one last attack, on the biggest building in the city, soon he lead many airships against it. Ponies inside the building knew that they needed to get out of there very quickly, or the building will show no mercy for them if it collapses.

"Quickly! We need to escape this building while avoiding the cannon balls fired by the enemy!" Soon hundreds of ponies started leaving the building as fast as they can, while dodging the oncoming attacks by the airships, luckily, only seven hundred ponies were in the building at the time, and the last pony inside the building escapes well before the building starts cracking and starts to fall, causing a huge dust cloud blocking the view of the airships and the building. 

When the cloud clears, the remains of the building is what remains of the ounce tall and mighty skyscraper. After that, Bowser Jr. lets the city surrender, sets up a fortress, and leaves some soldiers behind. Then head towards the remaining cities in the very middle of the country.

Ponyville heard the rumors from the other cities that were captured, but when they figured out that the army captured Manehatten, they knew they didn't stand a chance against the strong Airship Armada. But because they had one of their alicorn princesses, Twilight Sparkle, visiting the place, they thought they might stand a chance against the threat, Not knowing that Bowser Jr. had her brother and sister-in-law, Twilight confidently took a stand, when she got a glimpse at the oncoming airships, she knows it will be a tough fight. 

She then fired a aggressive spell at the airships, hitting Bowser Jr.'s. That was the first and last straw for the head of the army, he signaled his soldiers to capture the princess, Then with her in their hands, take ponyville. 

Soon Koopas were dropped from the airships, and their pursuit was on the winged unicorn. But Twilight didn't give up that easy, she knocked out many koopas, until she was wounded herself, a homing bullet bill struck her down, when she looked up before falling asleep, she looked up to find herself surrounded, and before she blacked out, she spat out this statement. "You'll never hurt Luna Or Celestia!" With that, Twilight's eyes rolled into the back of her head, for she was now fighting to stay awake, but she lost that fight and closed her eyes as blood started dripping down her back. The soldiers then took Twilight onto Bowser Jr.'s airship.

News about Twilight being defeated and captured spread through Ponyville rapidly. They were now scared to death. They then started waving white flags when the army was firing ammunition at the little town. The cutie mark crusaders were running all over the place, waving the white flags as told, but soon they and the other fillies ran to the schoolhouse, where the schoolteacher was hiding, but soon the army found them and quickly surrounded them.

Ponyville then surrendered, having the rest of the koopa soldiers set up a fortress there. The drivers of the airships and Bowser Jr. remained of the ounce huge army, but only one city was left to conquer, the capital city of Canterlot.

The royal guard and the royal sisters were already ready to face the airship armada. There they saw the powerful airships, Bowser Jr. jumped off his airship to meet them.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Celestia and Luna, the other princesses we hadn't captured yet. I'm going to have a lot of fun in this battle, YOUR SWORDS AND SPEARS ARE NO MATCH FOR MY AIRSHIPS! OR MY CANNONS!" With that, the pilots of the airships fired many shots at the royal guard. "Ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Bowser Jr. started laughing in triumph, he knew he would win the battle, and Equestria would be his father's. He knew that ounce the country surrendered, the army would come back together and settle in Canterlot, Bowser Jr. could hardly wait. 

Soon the guard was defeated and surrendered, but the princesses fled the scene, only to be surrounded, where Bowser Jr. knocked both of them out with the butt of his sword, then loaded the blacked out alicorns onto his airship and made a quick trip back to his father, currently at his castle.

"Dad."

"Yes son. I trust that you have claimed the victory?" 

"Yes, and we even captured five of the rulers of the country, and all of them."

"Where are they?"

"They are going to be cared for in the medical chambers for now, because they were severely injured in battle. But then they will be cared for in the castle. They and the koopa kids will govern the castle for now, until your reign in Equestria ends, it is likely you will be defeated again, but not likely."

"Good thinking son, anyways, let us go settle in the capital."

So the reign of Bowser begins now.


> 3. Hard Times For Equestria

After the airship armada. Things in Equestria were not at all good. After Bowser settled in, he totally rigged the place completely, he made the all the ponies in Equestria his slaves, and he put taskmasters over the ponies to make sure that they will rebuild everything destroyed the airship attack, and things were not good at all, the ponies groined under their heavy and brutal burdens. They wanted to be free again, have the royal sisters and sister-in-law back, for they couldn't believe they were gone for what could be for good.

Bowser made the water turn into lava, and also had things a lot like his own way. He hated the old ways of Equestria, and turned the ounce happy and free nation into a weak, sad, and enslaved nation, and soon many feared their new ruler, the only free things were that zebra in the everfree forest, Twilight's assistant, Spike and her pets, and Fluttershy's pets, who Bowser let them have the enslaved ponies riches. But all of them refused. 

Spike missed Twilight, he was dumbfounded when he heard that Twilight was not only captured, but severely injured, and couldn't believe that whoever that monster was thought he could just let his son lead his armies against Equestria and conquer it, and then have the country ruled his own way, did he do this with his own subjects? No!

Spike paced in the library angrily. He knew if he was going to try to overthrow the monster, he needed a companion that knows how to defeat him.

Meanwhile, Yoshi, Mario's companion to help him get past some really tough obsticles, searches for Bowser, he knows he is causing trouble somewhere, he can sence it in his bones.

When he entered the country called Equestria, his eyes widened in alarm, someone took over the place, enslaving the inhabitants, Yoshi then feels a urge to move into the country, his mind raced furiously. "Bowser, I'll get you! I'll get you for this!"

Yoshi then found a town where he found a baby dragon talking to himself.

"Okay, so if I somehow sneak on one of the airships, then I'll be able to kill that monster and his son who leads the army."

"Not a good idea."

"Huh? AHHHHH! DON'T HURT ME...oh, I thought you were that monster." Said Spike, still trying to recover from the sudden apperence of Yoshi.

"You mean Bowser? Well, me and my buddy Mario fight that guy, A LOT!!!! Ever sence we were kids we were fighting that ugly beast."

"Wait, you...KNOW HIM?!!!!"

"Yep, I know all of his weaknesses and strengths, and I can see he got real power hungry when he conquered you guys."

Spike began to frown. "Yeah, let his son lead an army of thousands, capturing our princesses and my friend, who is one of the princesses as well, they severely injured all of them, so badly that they were blacked out."

"What?!!! Bowser Jr. did that to them?! Where are they?!" 

"Took them away somewhere. But first I want to pretty much overthrow the monster."

Yoshi thinks the baby dragon will get killed if he attempts such a thing, but he knows he could help. "You can't fight him on your own, especially because you don't know how to avoid his strong attacks and knowing how to defeat him. But I do, I'm helping."

Spike knew the green dinosaur was right, no matter what, he needed his help, besides, if Twilight found out if he was dead, she'd try to overthrow the monster and get killed.

"Alright, but we also have to find the princesses as well, and free them, that way, Equestria would be happy and free with the princesses ounce again."

"But one last thing, you see, in every adventure I had with Mario, we had to destroy the fortresses that guarded our path from moving towards Bowser. I'm sure we'll have to go to each town and city, starting with the one on the border between Bowser's castle and country, and this one, that way we can be sure that if Bowser hid keys in the fortresses to unlock a barrier between us and him, we can unlock it."

"Sounds confusing, but okay!" 

"Hop on my back little dragon!"

So the duo had started a journey to free Equestria and the ponies who were enslaved to the evil monster and his son, their first destination was the desert town, Appleloosa, and the two unlikely heroes start towards the southwest.
> 4. The First Fortress
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I wonder what Appleloosa is like now."

"You mean the desert town?" 

"Yep."

The duo hadn't told anyone about their mission, they always seemed to have blended in the public. But they didn't forget to pack, they knew that it would be a long journey to conquer the evil Bowser, and his airship army his son leads. But they knew that Yoshi can deflect projectile attacks, Yoshi hadn't showed Spike how yet, but he promised to show him how when given the chance, they also knew Spike was good at using his fire power.

"You know the drill, get to the top of the fortress and defeat anything in charge of it."

"What do you mean, in charge of it?"

"Sigh, Never mind Spike, after all, we might as well set up camp here, the sun is going down."

"Yeah, well, if I can help it, we'll free the country to prove that heroes can come from anyone!"

"I guess."

With Spike's fire breathing instinct, our heroes soon make a campfire and set up camp, with a tent that prevented things from coming in. They plan to leave at dawn, and when they do, they'll soon be one step further to defeat Bowser.

But back in Canterlot, Bowser was currently being a little merciful to his subjects, he was quite fascinated by his slaves, and he was even having thoughts of freeing them, but his taskmasters were whipped into a rage. They knew that if the ponies were free, they might successfully revolt against Bowser, and maybe even kill him! So they devise a plan to make Bowser make life more miserable for the ponies, they soon act out on their cruel plan a few hours later, with a lie about the progress of the rebuilding process. "So far we are struggling to get started on the rebuilding process, I suggest we do something about it."

Bowser twitched an eyebrow, and not knowing that his taskmasters are lying, he makes the order the taskmasters wanted him to make. "If you insist, work them harder, I'll even supply you with new whips that will be more effective against the slaves." Not knowing he was tricked, Bowser gave the taskmasters new whips, and sent them away, but the koopas had very big cruel smiles on their faces.

The next mourning, Spike and Yoshi was just about finished packing when they saw in the distance, messengers from Canterlot.

"Oh No! Spike! Hide me!" Soon Spike breathed in, and fired a smokescreen, allowing enough time for Yoshi to change into a Yoshi egg. When the smoke screen cleared, the messengers were staring down at Spike with confused and tired eyelids. "Hello, I wonder why you are out here." The first koopa said, he was about to fall asleep, and Spike could tell.

"Hey Fred! You won't believe this!" One of the koopas saw Yoshi's egg he was hiding in. Interested, the koopas start examining the egg, while Spike watched, he was sweating a lot that he was standing in a puddle.

"Isn't this a Yoshi egg?"

"I don't know!"

"Well, come on, we don't want Bowser yelling in our faces again, that was a nightmare!" Soon the koopas leave, and Yoshi then hatched out of the egg.

"Phew, that was close."

"I know, if they cracked open the egg, they would certainly kill you."

"Yeah! Well, let's go, we're almost there!"

When the duo reached Appleloosa, they find taskmasters roaming the streets while the pony slaves were rebuilding what was destroyed by the airship attack.

"Let's go!"

"Wait! Yoshi! We need to kill the taskmasters! That way, the ponies would not get beaten! Maybe they'll think that they had heart attacks!"

"That's a horrible thought, surely they'll think someone is saving them, because there might be weapons stuck inside them, I don't know why, but I packed weapons as well." Spike thought Yoshi was out of his mind. "WHAT WERE YOU...."

"Shhhhhhhhhhhh!" Yoshi had to cover Spike's mouth, afraid they might have caught the attention of the taskmasters, that was when Yoshi took a sword and stuffed it into his mouth.

"What...what are you doing?!" asked Spike, thinking Yoshi was doing something against himself.

"You'll see." That was the only reply from the green dinosaur. Before he started sneaking toward a taskmaster, who was watching the slaves toil, not noticing Yoshi behind his back, and then. "PLAUGHHHHHH!!!" Yoshi had made the sword like a projectile from his mouth, the taskmaster had the sword go all the way through him, causing the koopa who was severely bleeding from the fatal wound to hit the ground with a thud, soon Yoshi pulled the sword, now bloodied from the taskmaster, and started to clean it, he then threw the body into the street.

The pony slaves, shocked, started screaming to find a dead body on the street, alerted four other taskmasters. Unaware that they were being watched. Yoshi had already put four more swords in his mouth, and were aiming the deadly blades at the shocked koopas, then, he fired. 

The slaves saw the taskmasters start to groan, and then they closed their eyes and fell to the ground, the ponies were shocked to find swords in the backs of their masters. Soon all the other taskmasters in the area arrived at the scene, and saw that five of the taskmasters were dead, the remaining koopas then drew out their crossbows and started looking for any sources of life, or a target. 

Soon they saw a figure in the shadows, and fired their arrows, only to see them disappear from a tongue catching them. Confused, the guards pulled out more arrows, only to see the figure jump out and spit out the arrows with deadly speed towards them, without anytime to react, the taskmasters soon groaned, dropped their weapons and fell to the ground. 

Yoshi then signaled Spike to make a smoke screen so Yoshi could get the taskmasters' weaponry, then they would move on to the fortress. Just like they planned. 

Some of the ponies were thinking that there were inhabitants from another country trying to swipe away the koopas rule over them and take the crown themselves, but soon green fire appeared from an alley and then a smoke screen had blocked the ponies' view of the dead taskmasters, when the smokescreen cleared, the weapons that the taskmasters were killed with and what they used were gone.

Many ponies went into a shock, all of them gasped when they didn't see the weaponry, but some of them thought they've seen that type of fire and smokescreen. "Could it been Spike?"

"Maybe, but did you see how fast the weapons were going? Spike couldn't throw anything that fast!" But while the ponies were arguing, Yoshi and Spike had sneaked into the fortress, just at the edge of town. 

The fortress was the tallest building in the entire town, and our heroes are not sure how to get to the top, but they were confident that they will succeed. 

"Wow!"

"The place is cool, right Spike!"

"Yeah!"

When they entered the first fortress, Spike was stunned by the lava rivers, flowing under bridges built by stone, and there were plenty of stuff to hide behind, perfect to....

Suddenly, an alarm went off, and all the hiding places disappeared, and hundreds of guards with crossbows had surrounded our heroes, there was no escape, they had to fight them.

Yoshi was starting to stuff a sword into his mouth when he heard a crossbow go off, he then whirled around to find an arrow about to strike him down, but he quickly had used his tongue to catch the arrow, and then stuff it into his mouth, then he fired it back at the guard with such momentum that the guard had no time to react to the sudden counterattack, and the arrow fatally wounded him, he collapsed onto the ground while blood started dripping out from the dead koopa.

"We need to get past them!"

"If we get onto that ledge, we can easily defeat the guards! Make a smoke screen."

So when the guards were all about to take a shot, Spike made a smokescreen, that allowed enough time for the duo to make it to the top of the ledge, that had blocked their path. That's when they heard...

"ARGHHHHH!"

Yoshi and Spike spun around to find all the guards dead, not knowing that the duo had already gotten away, they foolishly fired their arrows, striking each other down.

"I thought they were trained to have a better plan!" 

Yoshi began to laugh. "Guess not!" Then Spike started laughing too, but that was short lived, because standing behind them were nine koopas, three were throwing hammers, three were throwing boomerangs, and the other three were throwing fire balls. 

"Yoshi! I'm scared!"

"It will be fine Spike!"

Soon the boomerang bros were throwing their razor sharp boomerangs at the duo, but Yoshi used his tongue ounce again to use the projectiles against the original person who threw the thing that was supposed to be against Yoshi, and within a blink of an eye, the boomerangs had hit the bros, all three of them were taken aback from the sudden blow each had, causing them to back up to much and fall of the stone bridges and into the lava below.

But there were still six more bros to defeat, and the hammer bros made the first move, throwing three hammers each, but Yoshi swallowed all of them, and spat them out at the three hammer bros, catching them off guard. The hammer bros had no time to reach, and were knocked out from the blows they received. 

But the fire bros were throwing fireballs at fast speeds, thinking that the faster speeds would stop the green dinosaur, but he managed to actually stuff them into his mouth, and fire them back, but all of them this time were combined into one huge fireball, the fireball was three times bigger than the fire bros combined, their expressions were shocked and in disbelief. The fireball had consumed all three of them and carried them to the wall before disappearing over the lava, the frightened fire bros started screaming for help, but their cries were drowned out when they sunk into the lava.

Yoshi and Spike had made it to the top now, and they found a koopa with a wand of dark magics at the top. But he was on a throne, asleep, with a key in his hands. Yoshi thinks it would be easy to kill the koopa and get the key he was holding, so he stuffs his mouth with three swords, and fires, but his aim was off by an inch, hitting the throne the koopa was in just above the koopa's head, waking him up.

"Wha...Who's there?! Huh!!! You!!!!"

The koopa spotted Yoshi and while his wand started to glow, he spat out a question. "How did you get past the guards?!"

"We easily killed them, with the best way I know. Teamwork!" Then the duo had high fived each other. 

"Interesting, well, your teamwork is no match for my dark magics!" He then fired the first shot, only to have Yoshi use his tongue to stuff the magic blast into his mouth, then he fired it back with ounce again, with speedy velocity. The shot struck the koopa down, but he soon got back up, only to have Spike breath out fire against him, striking him down again, this time he was too weak to get up. Yoshi moved in closer to the koopa, only to have him fire another magical blast, it came so quickly that Yoshi barely had time to react and get out of the way, the blast had hit the fortress by the edge, and the stone building started to crumble. 

Spike then fired a fireball at the koopa, and Yoshi followed it, when the fireball hit the koopa's body, Yoshi snatched the key on the koopa's belt. Then the duo had started running to the edge and jumped, when they landed on the ground, Spike injured his shoulder, but the fortress had taken more damage then they thought, because the place was collapsing to the ground.

The startling crash had caught the attention of the ponies, the remains of the place were a lot of stones, and a pit of lava. Yoshi and Spike then left the place, but not before leaving a note on a brick of the fort, saying.

"This is part of our plan to save you, to free the princesses and to defeat the monster, don't worry, you'll be free soon."

But while the duo fled the scene, Bowser Jr. was on his little airship watching the armed dinosaur and dragon leave. He watched with angry eyes as our heroes left and headed towards the next city. He then said to himself. 

"Alright boys, you think you're so tough, I'll see if your any match for my airship armada!" He then drove his airship towards Canterlot, to gather the airships to kill our heroes.

Yoshi and Spike were unaware of this, and headed towards the next city.
> 5. On The Run
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yoshi and Spike had gotten the first key and destroyed the first fortress, but soon they hear the noise of what appears to be aircrafts in the air, and soon that would be known as true, because soon the entire airship armada appeared behind them, it shocked our heroes so much that they wanted to see why they were here. "He he he he he HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Bowser Jr. was laughing so hard that he couldn't control himself, he was going to have fun killing these two. He soon signaled the soldiers on the airships to fire many rounds of arrows from their crossbows, the arrows had landed inches away from our heroes' feet. 

"Run!"

Soon the chase begins.

Soon the soldiers fire so much ammo that our heroes could barely dodge them, soon the airships started firing cannon balls, and that caused much chaos for Yoshi and Spike, then Bowser Jr. started a secret cannon from his ship, from the Bowser head's mouth, shooting multiple fireballs at our heroes.

But that wouldn't last long, Yoshi and Spike got a lucky break, the ships were out of ammo. "Dang it! You may have escaped my wrath this time, but don't expect to be lucky the next!" With that, the airships turned to leave. Yoshi and Spike were relieved to see them leave, but now they know that they are now wanted criminals to Bowser. 

Soon they reach the second city and fortress, but soldiers were waiting for them. "Uh oh, we must get past them, the only way right now is by killing them and the taskmasters, but not by quick reflexes, but by pretending to surrender, and making a attack from within the fortress!"

Soon their plan is in action, they enter the city, as they expected, soldiers guarded their path. "Halt! Your under arrest!"

"Go ahead, take us away." The duo then put their hands out. Shocked and suprized, they cuff the two, and lead them to the fortress, but unknown to them, Yoshi had hundreds of arrows in his mouth, and Spike was building up his fire power.

When the guards brought our heroes before a goomba on a throne, he was pleased by their capture, not knowing that they were about to be attacked. That's when Yoshi started spinning and firing the arrows in his mouth, killing the goomba and the guards, Spike then snatched the key from the goomba's belt, and then started using his fire to wither the building's stone walls, the only thing holding the fortress up, and soon the duo ran out of the building to see it fall before them, like if the place was begging for mercy, the ponies there started gasping to see the ounce mighty fortress now in ruins, not knowing that the people who destroyed it were on the run to the next city.

Back in Canterlot, Bowser's anger boils when he hears the report about two fortresses were destroyed, and many guards and soldiers killed during the times of the destruction. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN TWO FORTRESSES WERE DESTROYED?!!!!!! WHOEVER DID THIS WILL BE KILLED BY BOWSER JR.'S AIRSHIP ARMADA!!!!!!"

"Father! I already tried, but they got away from the airships."

"Well, we'll have to somehow trap them, they'll never escape my wrath if I can help it!"

Soon wanted posters were put up throughout Equestria wanting Yoshi and Spike, the reward was a large amount of money, one million coins. But Yoshi and Spike were already on the run, they wouldn't give up to free Equestria, to free the ponies, to free happiness ounce again, to free Twilight from Bowser. 

But it won't be easy, and the duo knew it, but they know that they were going to succeed in time. They have to succeed even though they were outlaws now, they know that if they failed, Bowser's family and decendents would rule Equestria forever in disharmony.
> 6. The Crystal Empire
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

After succeeding to defeat three more fortresses, including Las Pegasus, the duo move on to the Crystal empire, where there wasn't a fortress, but there was the giant crystal castle, where in fact the koopa on a cloud was holding the next key. "Let's go get that key!"

"Wait, the place is heavenly guarded, and there are several taskmasters, I suggest that we go kill the guards and taskmasters first, and then get the key, we will also have to let the castle stay, but kill everything evil in it."

"Good point, let's do this!"

They devised a plan to kill everything evil in sight, but staying out of sight as well, it was when Yoshi fires arrows and swords at the guards and taskmasters when Spike makes a smokescreen. The plan worked perfectly, but the major factor was to get the key that was guarded, and the koopa guarding it is guarded, by being hidden somewhere in the castle, with no guards left, the duo had nothing to hear, except for the koopa who is rumored to throw spikey creatures.

As the duo enters the castle, an echo was heard, of someone laughing like a maniac, a laugh similar to Bowser's but it was not a deep voice like Bowser, no, someone much lighter voice, could it be the guardian of the key?

"Where are you, whoever you are, come out! Now!" Yoshi yelled to the voice.

"Oh, but how can you find me, you'll have to find me! Ha!"

But Spike is starting to get annoyed with the unfamiliar voice. "Come out, or we are going to make sure you'll never leave this place alive!"

But the voice reversed Spike's threat. "That depends, will YOU make it out alive?"

But Spike and Yoshi had already took off to find the mysterious someone that thought he could get away with tricking them and killing them.

But the duo had been failing, they couldn't find the koopa or the key.

"Wait, Yoshi! Look!"

Spike spotted something on the throne where one of the alicorns used to sit on, it was the key, and they were very eager to get it, they were thinking that the guy was surrendering. But just when they thought they had it, it was snatched away by a koopa hand. Confused, and shocked, they see a koopa with glasses on a cloud, a cloud with a face on it! "I'm not giving this up easily, it was a test to see if you weren't a complete fool to face me!"

Yoshi was now so angry he tried to throw a sword at the koopa, but the cloud had moved away with the koopa so quickly that the sword missed him by ten seconds, hitting the wall and falling to the ground, but the crystal wall was starting to crack, the sword had caused the wall to break apart, and Spike noticed. "Yoshi! Look what you did!!!!!!"

Yoshi saw the wall crack, his mind raced furiously, until he came up with an idea that he thought might work. "We got to go!"

"But the key!" Spike yelled in protest.

"Trust me!" replied Yoshi as he began to dart out of the room.

The duo was running out of the room, he started to laugh in triumph, thinking he bested the outlaws. But soon a big chunk of crystals hit his head, and that caused a fatal wound to the koopa's head, but his hand had threw the key towards Yoshi, who catches it from the air. 

The duo ran out of the castle, to see it crack, but not crumble, it stayed standing, just damaged. They did it! Only two more towns to go. But as the duo left the crystal empire, Bowser is furious when he figured out that almost all the cities were attacked and all the fortresses were destroyed. 

"WE NEED TO FIND THOSE TWO AND KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Bowser yelled so loud, that he blew out his messenger's eardrums, but he replied with more cheerful news, or what he thought was. "But Bowser, you know that you still have the princesses, and that unicorn, they can't dethrone you."

"Hmmm, your right, but those two can."

"Are you kidding me that you are afraid of two small creatures so weak you can crush them, I mean, you still have that star power to get very big, remember from your second attempt to take over the galaxys?"

Bowser then remembers and nods, for he is the most powerful thing ever to live, and he'll keep it that way, even if he had to bloody his hands on innocent bystanders, he'll kill those puny rebels and prove his authority, he was now hungry, hungry for the death of Yoshi and Spike.
> 7. In The Gloomy Castle West Of Equestria...
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Twilight opened her eyes, she wondered what happened after being knocked out, she thought she was killed for being knocked out for so long. She looked up to find Celestia and Luna, along with Cadence and Shining Armor, bandaged from their injuries during the airship attack, with relieved expressions on their faces. 

"Thank goodness your alright!"

"Wh..wha....what happened? IS PONYVILLE SAFE?! DID WE DEFEAT THE ENEMY?!!!!!" Twilight really wanted to know, for she was injured the worst, and wanted to know if everypony was okay.

"No, the ruler here took over, but he is being very kind to us by caring for us, we're going to be captives for a while however." replied Luna, her head was bandaged from the blow by Bowser Jr. it had cracked her skull, but she was recovering quickly. 

Twilight then gasped when looking at her brother and sister in law. "What happened to you guys?" asked Twilight, horrified by the sight of bandages all over their legs.

"One of the airships had destroyed the crystal empire balcony, while we were on it. They even stole the crystal heart, I have it right here." Cadence explained that doctor reports said that there were broken bones in their legs, and pointed to the crystal heart, lying near a corner in the medical chambers.

Twilight wanted to say how she was injured, she was lucky to be alive. "I could have repelled the enemy from taking Ponyville, but when I was about to grab the victory, something struck me down, it was so forceful that I had blacked out a minute later." 

"Well, we're glad you're alright, I thought you were dead!" replied Luna, admitting she feared the worst about her condition. 

"I wonder what we're doing to do while in exile, or should I say, during our captive years." said Celestia, she was curious about what they would do, be doing lots of responsibilities? Or just having to rest until they fully recovered. But they knew that they would probably do something, they didn't know what though, they just needed to wait.

That's when a koopa came in. He had blue hair sticking up, a spiked blue shell, and had a wand with a blue magical gem at the end. "Oh, your all alive and awake! That is very good! I'm Larry, you'll be with me and the other koopa kids during your visit, or captive years, I don't get it, are you visiting, or are you captives? I can't remember."

"We're captives." said Shining Armor, his legs starting to wobble. 

"Oh, then, come with me, you will get to meet the rest of the gang!" Soon the koopa left the room, and the alicorns weren't sure if they should follow him or not. But the first to work up the courage to leave and follow him was Twilight, the rest followed her out of the medical chambers.

Waiting for them was Larry and six other koopas, each with different color shells, some had hair and others didn't, and some wore clothing for what looked like an airship caption, and a ballerina. One koopa kid, the smallest and the youngest, liked to play with rubber balls as big as him, maybe even bigger than him by mass and width. One of them, the one with glasses and green hair, with the green spikey shell, according to Larry, not only is he totally insane, but his insaneness led him to get a pet that was more like a metal thing with sharp teeth, on a leash that was supposed to hold the creature down But he wanted it for a ride.

Another koopa kid, the one with the pink shell, and caption's hat for an airplane. He and another koopa kid, Larry saying that the other kid is Wendy O. both have the same color shells, both of them are spiked and bright pink. There was one called Morton Jr. he was the biggest of the koopas, he was grey with a black spiked shell, he sometimes couldn't control his mass, and when he had jumped into the air, and landed too hard onto the ground, the place would shake, like if an earthquake was happening. Then there was the craftiest of the koopas, Ludwig Van Koopa. His hair was blue just like his spiked shell, but his hair was long and stuck up to be shaped like a big mustache. He was very sneaky when he needed to be, he could out of the room by making a clone from his magic wand, and walk out of the room. He can also jump and then fly, but doing a flutter jumping sequence Yoshi does sometimes.

All the koopa kids had wands, with different color gems filled with unlimited power. They could use them for combat, or to make images of what is going on in the other countries. "Those is basically our powers, and we can clone ourselves and do much more!"

Celestia gets interested with one of their powers. "You can make images of the current events in other places?"

Confused from the question, Larry answers with the honest truth. "Yep, we sure can."

"Do you think you can show us the current events in Equestria for us?" asked Luna.

"Sure, Bowser, our ruler here, hasn't been seen for a long time! Maybe that's where he is." Soon the koopa kids used their wands to make one big image of what is going on in Equestria. The princesses eyes widen in alarm. 

"What?! Who is that monster?!"

Larry looked down at the image, making sure he didn't cut off the spell, he confirmed the turtle being Bowser. The image moved on throughout cities in Equestria, where there were ponies fastened with neck shackles and hoof shackles, they had to work under whip cracking taskmasters. They were in huge pain, they hated their new life of forced labor, they wanted to be free again. That was when the spell was cut off by Morton Jr. "Did you find what you wanted to see?" he asked, hoping to not do the spell again, for he was tired.

"Yes, but I can't believe he would do that, to our subjects, they are beating them and making them do forced labor!" yelled Luna.

"Really?" said the surprised Larry. "He almost never does that! He usually does different stunts to get the princess in the nearby Mushroom Kingdom, kidnapping her or something, and lets us help fight of his nemesis, Mario, who is currently on vacation with his brother and the princess."

"Is there any hope for our subjects?!" asked Celestia, desperate for good news about their subjects.

"I think we spotted two creatures destroying the fortresses put up by the army that had nearly killed some of you and they were killing the taskmasters and guards in each city." replied Ludwig, he knew that there wasn't much hope for the country, but he knew Bowser might actually be defeated.

"For now though, you can recover here and be with us until your better? You know, I think you can even help us lead the people here to not worry about their leader, it's like if Bowser had forced you to switch kingdoms to rule, but we'll be here for support."

"Um, Larry, Bowser did that." said Wendy.

"Oh, well, I guess we'll just take care of you right now, after all, if you want to get better soon when someone or something dethrones Bowser, which usually happens all the time! You'll have to let us help you okay?"

"Sure." replied Luna, sort of feeling annoyed but grateful to be cared for by strangers from another land that they are in. But they knew they couldn't leave until the monster called Bowser is gone, or dethroned from Equestria. They knew that they would have to wait, but they have company, for they were not alone, they were with the koopa kids.


> 8. The Final Fortresses
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The duo had reached Manehatten where the huge city was being rebuilt, and there was nothing but city life in sight. But there weren't ponies with shackles on their necks or hooves. They were still forced to work though, that was a very bad thing that Yoshi and Spike came to remove, the fortress and the key was at the edge of town, but the guards and taskmasters had to go. 

As the duo approached a taskmaster, a koopa yelled. "Look out! The outlaws are behind you!" 

"Um, we better run, right?"

"Yep, let's make them kill themselves." The duo then take off.

When the guard thought they had them, they end up shooting their arrows at each other, killing each other, but things weren't over yet, ounce the guards had finished making that mistake of shooting each other, they chased Yoshi and Spike towards the fortress. But to their surprise, the doors were open.

"Quickly, we must stop them! Or else they'll get the key!" But as the guard finished his order, an explosion had rattled the place, causing guards who were fatally wounded sent flying into the air. Wondering who caused the horrific explosion, the guards entered the fortress, to see Yoshi and Spike, who were dodging bullet bills, trying to escape with the key. 

"HALT! You are under..." But before the guard could finish his sentence, the duo had made it out of the fortress, saying. "Bill you later!" Wondering what that meant, and still wanting the reward money for Yoshi and Spike's capture, the koopas were about to leave the fortress, when a bullet bill, as huge as the fortress, fatally hit them, sending the fortress and them flying.

"Ouch! That one will hurt!" said Yoshi, his expression was shocked and worried, he was worried when the shock wave would hit them, and shocked to see such a big explosion.

Bowser was furious when he found out that the outlaws had only one key left to retrieve before coming after him and unlocking his barrier. "I'M GONNA SEND THE ENTIRE AIRSHIP ARMADA AFTER THEM TO PONYVILLE!!!!!!! BOWSER JR.! GO! NOW! ANYTHING TO PROTECT MY RULE OVER THIS COUNTRY, YOU'LL DO IT FOR ME! FOR YOU! FOR OUR EMPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Calm down dad, I'll finish them. In fact, I'll threaten them with a very clever trick, anything to protect that final key, this trick would make the outlaws do something wrong no matter what!"

"Which is?"

"You'll find out if you see a explosion from Ponyville. Or not!"

Ponyville was a city where the bearers of the elements of harmony were, but since those were gone, and that Twilight was captured. Ponyville was unhappy ever since. But to their surprise, Spike went missing, and that all the other cities had the fortress there fall to the ground. 

But one day, in the distance, the airship armada approached, soon Bowser Jr. touched down, holding a bomb, he said that he wouldn't let Ponyville's fortress get destroyed without a fight. "No matter what, your heroes would make a wrong choice." was what he said.

When Yoshi and Spike arrived, Bowser Jr. saw Spike's tail, knowing that they were here, and called for them. "Come on out, we don't have any weapons on us!" Spike couldn't resist to just take a peek, and in fact, no soldier had a weapon, all the Ponyville residents, who were now slaves to Bowser, were frightened with a threat to kill them all, for they had a huge wire running towards the town hall, where about five thousand bomb-ups were kept, if Bowser Jr. pushed the button, the place would go sky high. 

"Yoshi, we have a problem."

"What is it, is it that they do have weapons?"

"No, much worse, but it's safe for us to be seen."

Confused with Spike's response, he agrees. "If we can get the key, we can be so close to our goal we could taste it!"

As Yoshi and Spike come out, gasps cascade through the frightened slaves, how could a green dinosaur and Spike save them from this trap for them. 

"What is it Bowser Jr.?!" 

"Yoshi, Yoshi, we have so much to talk about! We can always say that you are trying your best to save these pitiful ponies from their shackles and chains, well, you were so close yet so far! And Spike, one of the princess's assistant, I always regretted hurting precious Twilight Sparkle!" As he mentioned Twilight, he shot a fireball at the ponies, shocked from the sudden attack, they quickly move out of the way to avoid being burnt.

Bowser Jr. continued on with his plot. "I have a deal for you two, you ether say that you won't give up on your quest to free these ponies from my father and attempt to get the key, and you will see this place blow up and turn to ashes!" The mention of the threat had frightened many ponies, many were so scared that they had screamed in terror. But Bowser Jr. didn't stop. "Or you can leave this place be and give me the other keys and these ponies will live, but they will continue to be my father's slaves for generations to come!" 

The trap was so far working, Yoshi and Spike didn't know how to get out of this situation, ether choice led to unhappiness and tragedy. Their minds raced furiously. "Well, what's your answer?" asked the impatient Bowser Jr. He was really having a very hard time resisting to press the button that would lead to the ponies' death. That was when Yoshi had an idea. He got out a sword, and directed Spike onto his back. He then shouted. "We are not giving up! We know how to do this, we'll teach you a lesson Bowser Jr.!" The response of bravery had caused gasps to cascade through the frightened pony slaves, they knew Yoshi and Spike were putting their lives on the line.

Bowser Jr. was also shocked, but he gladly presented them the fortress, but he made another deal. "I'll give you one minute, if you aren't back in one minute, you will die along with the rest! But if you do make it, then I will gladly let you go and face my father in combat!" He knew he was putting the key on the line, but he didn't think that the duo could make it in one minute. He then started a timer next to him and let the duo start the impossible task.

"What's your plan?"

"Cut that wire, then get the key!"

"Good thinking! We'll best that prideful son of Bowser!"

With nothing looking in their direction, just looking at the clock, Yoshi took his sword that he took out, and sliced the wire leading to the bomb, then they ran to the fortress, where many guards were waiting for them, but while Yoshi and Spike were fighting the guards at the fortress, Bowser Jr.'s timer hit zero. Many ponies held on tight to each other, wanting to be together when they died in a bloody explosion. Bowser Jr. laughed to himself, he thought he dominated over the outlaws, but when he did the dreaded moment, pressing the button, there was a few pops, but no boom, no bombs went off.

"Wha....WHAT HAPPENED?????!!!!!!!!!!!" He repeatedly pressed the button, until he threw the switch onto the ground, causing a spark to fly, but the spark hit the wire, igniting it, causing the bomb to act like a old fashioned dynamite, the fuse was the wire, leading to the bombs. More gasps cascaded from the ponies, many tried to run to the wire and put out the flame, but Bowser Jr. shot an arrow, signaling the ponies to stay put. 

The victory was claimed by Yoshi and Spike at the fortress, but while they came back with the key, Bowser Jr. came, saying. "Have fun with my bombs!" That meant that Bowser Jr. found another way to set the bombs off, and it was in a matter of time before the bombs are ignited. When they came to the sight, Bowser Jr. and the airship armada were watching from the sky that their moment of triumph drew nearer. They also found the wire they cut was on fire, and that the wire was connected to a bomb-up's fuse, which could make a crater with the other bombs so huge and deep that the signs of life would be wiped out completely. 

"Yoshi, we need water!" 

"Or a knife." replied Yoshi, and calmly crouched down and cut off the burning part of the wire, and threw it into a patch off dirt, the bombs would not go off that day. The place would stay safe. But while nothing happened, no booms or pops, Bowser Jr. led his airships away. Ponyville was saved from Bowser Jr.'s cruel plot! The ponies were thankful to be safe. "Your welcome guys! We would love to stay and celebrate, but we must finish the task at hand." said Spike, staring at Canterlot, where instead of water, was lava pouring down the mountain.

Bowser was even more angry when he figured out the outlaws were on their way to face him in Canterlot. "I'M GONNA KILL...."

"Dad! Calm down, your temper is too much for everyone here!"

"BUT....but.....okay fine, but when they get here and unlock the barrier, I'll send the airship armada after them, if that fails, they'll face me in my new arena above us!" 

"That sounds perfect dad!"

So Yoshi and Spike will face a great challenge, they must succeed, or the ponies in Equestria will never be free again!
> 9. The Shipyard
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

When they arrived in Canterlot, Yoshi and Spike had saw what they expected, a barrier, with about ten locks, our heroes had ten keys, a good sign that they will make it into the capital of Equestria, when they put all ten keys in, the barrier collapsed like if it was brocken into, similar to the way Shining Armor's barrier broke during the changeling invasion. 

None of the pony slaves living in Canterlot were allowed in the city anymore, no, they were forced to go to Ponyville, so Bowser and his army stayed there. Yoshi and Spike were so eager to face Bowser whe the barrier cleared. But in front of them stood a place where the airships were kept, the shipyard. But the soldiers were hiding in the airships, ready to take off and kill the outlaws that killed a lot of them, this was their chance, when Yoshi and Spike were looking at Bowser Jr.'s airship, the propellers started turning, and the airship lifted off the ground. Soon Bowser Jr. was found visible to our heroes, he was dancing around, and started to laugh in triumph like if he won the fight already.

Soon the other airships took off, they all were looking at achieving a goal, a goal that has been around for weeks, to kill Spike and Yoshi. Many of the airships were starting to load the cannons with homing bullet bills that would follow it's target. "Oh gosh! Spike, get on my back, you'll never survive this on your own, okay!" 

"Okay! I'm really scared right now! Let's get this over with and find Bowser." So while Bullet bills were launched, arrows were as well, some were close to hitting Spike that Yoshi had to shift his footing to save his companion, but the ammunition kept coming, because Yoshi however dodged the bullet bills so well, that the bullet bills had made the airships the target because it turns around towards the fearsome fleet.

When a bullet bill hits an airship, the force of the blow caused the airship to lose it's propellers that are on the poles of the ship. The poles would fall of the ships, causing the airship to hit the ground so hard that the airship and everyone on it was destroyed and injured. Soon the soldiers were out of arrows, but continued to fire cannon balls and bullet bills, Yoshi continued to dodge the fired rounds of ammunition while Spike held on to Yoshi's back.

"Bowser Jr.! Another Airship down!!!!!!" 

"We'll have to defeat the outlaws first! Then we can think on how to repair..." But when he was about to finish his sentence, his airship was hit, even though his was the strongest Airship, it could sometimes take heavy damage, and it did. Another airship around him fell to the ground.

"Soon we'll be out of ammo, and they'll use the dozens of bullet bills still flying around against us! We'll have to retreat back home." But before Bowser Jr. can even begin the Evacuation, dozens of bullet bills strike the airships, sinking all of them to the ground. Bowser Jr.'s airship was the only one still in the air, he had to retreat back to the castle, and that's what he did. As Bowser Jr.'s battered airship speeds away, the shipyard now has destroyed airships with koopas, goombas, dry bones, lots of Bowser's minions leave the destroyed wooden aircrafts, they too retreat back to the castle, for they had no weapons but Bowser himself.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, DEFEATED?!!!!!!!"

"They destroyed our airships with no weapons but dodging our bullet bill attacks." 

"That's it! I'm facing them in my new arena with the remains of my star power from my attempts of taking over the universe. They will not survive me, they may defeat everything else, but I'm the strongest of us all!"

"Yes! Yes!" cheered the soldiers and Bowser Jr., and waited for the outlaws to enter the throne room.
> 10. The Bowser Fight
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

After their great victory at the shipyard, Yoshi and Spike move on to the castle at Canterlot, the place where Bowser calls home, for now. Yoshi and Spike went inside the palace, it was much more different to Spike, since he already visited the castle, Bowser had rigged the place, sort of the way the evil King Sombra did it, black crystals shot out at every direction, but they were more reddish.

They searched the castle for their dark enemy, until they found him, Bowser Jr. and surviving soldiers waiting for them, Soon wind started blowing from the broken windows, and Bowser began talking. "BWA HA HA HA!! You finally made it!" No responces came from what Bowser called outlaws, but he continued. "Just in time for me to squish you into little pieces!" said Bowser with a grin on his face as he walked over to a container. Inside it were two grand stars he swiped before having himself be defeated by Mario. 

"Huh, I thought we had stopped you from getting those!"

"Oh, but you think wrong, for I swiped these away in time to have them in good use! And right now is a good time! But why don't we go to my newly installed arena above us in the sky for our upcoming battle?"

"Um, ok! Because Spike would hate to see the castle destroyed."

"Why don't we go now?" asked Bowser as he lunged towards them, and without warning, they were on their way to the arena through a portal of light. Many could see it miles away, what they won't see is the battle itself. 

Yoshi and Spike landed on a huge land mass, where Bowser was floating around them, that's when he swallowed the first grand star. Purple beams of magic floated around him as he grew bigger and bigger. Until he was as big as a fortress. "Hey guess what guys?! Bowser called, his fist holding dark magic. "Your on a planet above Canterlot! We are accordingly a few meters above the castle, but high enough for my arena!" That's when he started moving above Yoshi and Spike, he then pulled back his dark magic filled fist.

"Spike!!! Jump For It!!!!!!!" When they jumped, Bowser's fist had hit the ground and streams of dark magic spilled out of his fist.

"Bowser! I thought you learned a lesson about this!!!!!!"

"But it's so much fun! But if you insist, we'll move on to my favorite technique on squishing your faces, for this will be the end." Bowser then swallowed the second grand star, that's when he got even bigger and bigger, so big that he almost destroyed the arena. 

"Guess what Yoshi, you may think this is over, but it's far from over now I'm twice the size I was!" Twice the size? More like three times the size from before, but that was only half the problem, he was even destroying his arena!

Yoshi and Spike had no other choice but to jump at Bowser. That's when he destroyed the rest of the arena with his fists of Dark magic. Soon all three of them had started to fall back down to the castle, Bowser was so big he destroyed some of the castle's towers. Causing the castle to catch on fire, in the throne room, where Bowser Jr. and the soldiers were, had then decided to wait outside of the castle for the battle to end. 

"Arghhh, my head, huh?!" Yoshi and Spike noticed Bowser, he was still wanting the battle to rage on. "Give up?"

"No Bowser, we will fight until you are defeated!"

"We'll see if that was the smarter choice fellas!" Bowser then started breathing out fire streams, he soon started firing fireballs, soon the throne room was completely on fire. 

Soon Bowser started using his dark magics to form weapons against Yoshi and Spike, homing bullet bill launchers mostly. When he fired the bullet bills, Yoshi and Spike dodged them so flawlessly that when the bullet bills turned around, they had hit Bowser in the face. 

"Ow!"

"Surrender Bowser!"

"You misunderstand, the fight is far from over!" Soon, he started throwing balls of dark magic at them, when it hits the ground, a black reddish crystal forms from the ground, the balls of dark magic kept coming, but Yoshi and Spike were able to dodge it with ease. Soon Bowser was out of ammo, and it was in a matter of time before Bowser would be defeated and the princesses can return. 

Yoshi stepped towards the frightened tyrant. "Bowser, there's nowhere to run, or hide, you have no more things to use against us, so surrender and let the ponies of Equestria go free or die!" 

Knowing he was staring at his death if he made the wrong decision, he tried to bribe Yoshi. "Here's a deal, I'll leave the place, but Equestria will still be mine to rule unless you get the princesses back, so all the ponies that were my slaves to begin with, which is basically all of them except the royal guard, will not be free when I still have control, they will come back to my home country with me and my son and soldiers, where they will toil for the rest of their pitiful lives, the princesses will also remain with the koopa kids. But since you wiped out the koopas in Equestria, we'll not step foot in this country again, and everything will return to normal."

Soon he began to undo his changes to Equestria, and built transportation airships to travel the slaves back home, he then returned everything to normal, except when he left, he left with all the other ponies asleep on his airships, for he also made it night when they left, the only things he did leave behind that were living creatures were the royal guard, and Yoshi and Spike. 

Yoshi and Spike were extremely confused of what happened, but soon realized that they had the princesses and Ponies to save, they were glad to have the entire royal guard with them, they soon marched towards the lava world where Bowser lives in, and his gigantic castle where he kept the princesses.


> 11. Equestria Saved!
> --------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the royal guard led by Yoshi and Spike made it to the border between the safe zone and dangerous zone, the dangerous zone being Bowser's country, Yoshi was ready to make things right again. But in order to do that, he and Spike needed re-enforcements, and that was why they brought the royal guard, which Bowser had made a huge mistake of leaving behind. But this was now the time, time for battle.

"Charge!!!!!" With Yoshi's signal and battle cry, the royal guard rushes in, Yoshi and Spike not far behind. Soon what remained of the ounce powerful airship armada came into view, and started a sequence of firing multiple cannon balls and had even had men on the ships shoot arrows wildly to chase the rebelling royal guard away.

But what they didn't know was that Yoshi and Spike had sneaked past the raging battle and further into the country. When they arrived at the horrifying huge castle of the koopa king and empire. But when they thought they could easily sneak in, they notice all the ponies taken away from their land, taskmasters beat them all day, and they groaned under their heavy burdens. Yoshi and Spike were now getting sadder for the enslaved ponies, and also madder at Bowser for using them for his building projects. 

But as they were about to make their first move, an explosion rocked the place, the battle between the royal guard and the airships were getting really close to the castle, and Yoshi and Spike ran into the castle when they had the chance from the battle a lot of the taskmasters were looking at.

Soon they found Bowser's throne room, where Bowser and Bowser Jr. awaited. "BWA HA HA HA HA HA!" 

"I can't believe you made it this far, only to die from the wrath of my father!" Bowser and Bowser Jr. were laughing at the most unlikely heroes in their presence, but Yoshi and Spike both did not move, Yoshi had encouraged Spike to stay, but he was shaking because of what this guy can do.

Soon Bowser stood up, and began think this was too easy and he would win so easily. "You may have defeated me ounce and everything in your path, but this time, you will finally taste what you made everything you defeated taste!" 

"What did we make everyone we defeated taste?" asked a very confused Spike.

"Wha....NEVERMIND! You will die and never get things your way again for Equestria!" Bowser was also raising his hands like if he was going to make a sword appear in his arms. But then a mixture of blue and purple lighting was emerging out of his palms, he was holding balls of lighting, and then, the worst happens.

"Spike look out!" Bowser throws the lighting at Yoshi and Spike, one of them hits the ground, causing a huge thunder bolt to shake the caste and the land around it. The second one ht the back of the throne room, Yoshi's plans were shattered from the sight of lighting attacks, how will they defeat Bowser now?! "Yoshi, can't you fire back electricity?" That's when it hit Yoshi like if one of the lighting attacks had really hit him, he knew what he was going to do and planted his shoes on the marble floors of the throne room.

The next lighting attack was hurled directly at Yoshi, which he stuffed int his mouth! Bowser and Bowser Jr. were shocked by what happened next, he had electrical lines all over his body, that's when he fired two lines of electrical lighting power, striking Bowser to the chest and Bowser Jr. who was watching to the head. Yoshi had passed out after acting like a living taeser against Bowser and Bowser Jr. For he is not at all used to electricity, he would usually go back into a Yoshi egg when he was struck by electricity. Bowser then said to Spike.

"Take your princesses, take your ponies, and leave! I don't want to have to get severely injured again by what just happened." Then Bowser, the great and powerful koopa King, blacks out.

Spike sees immediately after seeing Bowser pass out in front of him, the koopa kids, Larry, Wendy, Iggy, Roy, Morton Jr., Ludwig Van Koopa, and Lenny led the princesses and Shining Armor out from the back room, not in chains, but with bandages from the airship attack that left them blacked out for days. 

Spike's eyes widened as he saw Twilight come out as well. "Twilight!"

"Spike! I'm glad you're okay."

"I'm glad you're okay!"

"But, how did you manage to defeat that evil monster?" asked Luna, confused on how a baby dragon can defeat a powerful tyrant.

"Oh, my new friend named Yoshi...wait! Yoshi!" When he turned to look, Yoshi still hadn't recovered from his electrical counterattack with Bowser. "Oh no, Yoshi, the hero of Equestria, dead." Spike started shedding some tears, for he thought his new friend and hero of Equestria had fatally fired his electric blast, causing him no time to return into his protection egg. 

When the princesses, who were carrying Yoshi, came out of the caste, the taskmasters immediately realized that Bowser was defeated, and they soon unfastened the neck shackles and hoof shackles fastened onto the ponies after Bowser conquered Equestria. Then they ran back into the castle. The ponies cheered, they were free ounce again, and were more than happy to see the princesses returning to them. 

That's when they noticed Celestia carrying something on her back, and she dropped it onto the ground, to their surprise, it was a green dinosaur, which was on the ground. Celestia then said to her subjects.

"Today, you are ounce again free from a evil tyrant who wants Equestria to rule over as his own, but I, my sister, or the other princesses were the heroes, but it was this green dinosaur, who was last seen being passed out on the ground when he did a counterattack against the powerful tyrant, defeating him today, for we will surely remember him."

The crowd then realize why they saw shadowy figures in the alleys, and why guards were suddenly dying all of a sudden. But they didn't think their hero would die along with the guards, how sad they were!

That's when Yoshi began to move, Spike noticed the movement and thought there was a chance he was still alive. Yoshi then opened his eyes, and he noticed Spike looking at him. "What happened? Did we free Equestria?"

"Yes, we did, stand up so the crowd will see you're still alive!" As Yoshi stands up, the crowd and princesses are wondering how Yoshi was still alive, they began asking questions among themselves. 

As the princesses, Shining Armor, and ponies walk home, Spike and Yoshi, say goodbye at the castle. "I'm going to miss you Yoshi."

"Me too Spike, and always remember to stay calm in scary situations, okay?!"

"Got it!" Then Spike went to catch up with the ponies, but Yoshi thinks something is missing. "What did we forget to do?"

"No please! Stop thinking I'm a mime! I'M NOT A MIME!" Yep, they forgot to undo that invisible wall, oh well, he'll find another way to get past the wall, right?
