Rainbow Dash finally returns after she spent four years away. Except for the fact that her home wasn't the same as she left it. Ponyville, canterlot, and yes even cloudsdale has been taken over by a new ruler. Rainbow Dash is literally the only one left to stop the madness. She must find her missing friends and find the missing elements of harmony.
Since the very first six battle pathers, most warriors travel to carve their own path. They grow in strength to someday do the impossible like the battle path heroes a hundred years ago. Equestria was a nation like most that had heroes pass by to get to their destination. The nation never had a problem with dark times, considering they are neighboring the feuding nations Daimor and Pteria. Though even quiet and gentle nations get their problems. On the day of the Summer Sun Celebration where the sun is risen for a new year, a tyrant attacked taking control of the land. His name was Discord, Ggd of Chaos and the now new ruler of Equestria. The two princesses Celestia and Luna couldn't hold the power of the elements of harmony and they scattered. Celestia died in battle and Luna simply vanished without a trace. The citizens waited a year until their hero finally showed up.
Chapter 1: Home rebound

Rainbow Dash finally returns home from the four years she was away. The scarf and goggles she got from Fluttershy still remained on her body since she doesn't fight without wearing them. She finally finished her martial arts training and decided to hum Fluttershy's lullaby like she always does. She was so ready to show off her mad skills to everyone else, but remained calm so she could seem more mature. As she entered ponyville for the first time in four years, she noticed that the place was empty. She just scratched the back of her head with the hand that wasn't holding her small bag over her shoulder.
"Maybe Pinks is throwing a party. I highly doubt that everyone knew I'd get here today." Rainbow Dash said shrugging her shoulders. As she walked further she started to wonder where everybody was. There was nobody in site, even the marketplace as empty. Rainbow Dash started to worry when she saw a man running. It was Mr. Cake running from three thugs with swords in their hands. Only one of the thugs had a bat and was catching up to Mr. Cake fast. The thug was about to hit him when Rainbow Dash swirled around in front of Mr. Cake and blocked the bat with her arm. "Do ya have a death wish girly?" The thug said snarling at her. She just snapped at being called girly and socked the thug in the face making him go flying past his two comrades. The burly looking thug attacked next, swinging his sword. Rainbow Dash evaded easy cause her opponents fighting style was sloppy. She then quickly punched twice at the stomach and did a massive kick in the same location. She defiantly thought she broke something cause the thug spat out blood after she kicked him. The thug fell buto the ground with a thud and she turned to the last thug. "Boo." She said with a smirk making the thug drop his weapon and run away. She was glad that she was this strong, yet she didn't have to give much effort to beat them. Rainbow Dash turn to Mr. Cake and asked "Where is everyone? Who were they?"Rainbow Dash asked turning to face Mr. Cake. Mr. Cake swallowed and calmly said "Much has changed since you've been gone. This man appeared calling himself the God of chaos. He has taken control of the whole nation of Equestria and killed princess Celestia." Rainbow Dash was shocked. She never knew that Equestria, a place that welcomes everybody, would end up like this.
"What about princess Luna? Is she alive or dead?" Rainbow Dash asked extremely concerned on the matter. Mr. Cake shook his head and replied "No one knows what happened to her. It happened after Celestia died, she just vanished without a trace." Rainbow Dash crossed her arms and sighed in relief that Luna might still be alive. Suddenly someone yelled from behind Rainbow Dash "THAT'S HER. THAT'S THE GIRL WHO KILLED DITCH AND REAL RAW." Rainbow Dash turned around to see the thug that run away brought backup. The backup was a man wielded a very big mallet and looked like he was no push over unlike the three thugs.
"Rainbow that's Giga. He is one of Discord's seven generals. We need to escape and fast." Mr. Cake said panicking, but Rainbow Dash didn't budge a inch. Instead Rainbow Dash told Mr. Cake to run and she got ready to fight as he fled the scene.
"Girly shall die." Giga said in a extremely deep voice while walking up to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash pulled down her goggles from her forehead and adjusted them over her eyes.
"Bring it jumbo." Rainbow Dash said smiling confidently. The battle started with the mallet coming straight down and Rainbow Dash barely evading it. She then quickly punched twice at the Giga's side which had little to no damage. The cycle continued having her punch, kick, and dodge Giga. The fight seemed endless and the only one making any progress was Giga who was making craters everywhere. Rainbow Dash stopped moving to see if she can spot Giga's weakness, cause if she keeps fighting with no progress happening she won't be able to survive one blow. Rainbow Dash didn't even have two seconds and she was already hit. The impact broke her ribcage and sent her flying a half a mile. Rainbow Dash spat out blood and noticed that the mallet was about to hit her with a single blow. It was like she was going to die and she didn't even get to see her friends yet. Suddenly a woman with every inch of skin covered by black clothing appeared. The woman's light blue hair was tied into a pony tail and she had arm blades attached. The woman not only blocked the attack, but she saved Rainbow Dash's live as well.
"Who are you?" Rainbow Dash said amazed by the sudden appearance. The woman chuckled and replied "Has you already forgotten about me Rainbow." The woman replied chuckling at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash didn't seem to notice who the woman was, even if the voice sounded familiar. The woman started to fight Giga and had better luck in the fight then Rainbow Dash did. The woman even evaded more gracefully and with one cut the blades did devastating damage to the Giga's chest. Giga stood up like nothing happened, which amazed Rainbow Dash. Even at the account that Rainbow Dash would never stand, let alone survive an injury like that.
"He is tough muscled like I thought. Getting you medical help is more important than killing him." The woman said backing away from Giga. "I'm fine. Just kill him." Rainbow Dash said coughing up more blood. It hurt for her to talk. The woman shook her head and said "No your ribcage is broken and your coughing up blood." Before Rainbow Dash could say another word, the woman picked her up avoiding more injuries by not touching the broken ribcage. The next thing Rainbow Dash knew was that she was on a bed in some underground cave. The cave was weirdly lit up by the shallow water that covered the floor. She suddenly realized that she wasn't feeling any pain and noticed that she was bandage up.
"I really been out cold. I'm all healed up." Rainbow Dash said looking at the bandages on her.
"Actually you were out for a couple hours and your on a pain reliever drug. The place you are in is called moon water cavern. Since the water glows down here." The woman said walking in with the cloth on her face removed. The cloth was now ruffled around the neck and Rainbow Dash can now see the woman's face realizing who she was. It was the only princess that was named the shadow assassin.
"Luna your alive?" Rainbow Dash said definitely surprised at the fact the babysitter that took care of her when she was little was standing right in front of her.
"How about a hug?" Luna asked and Rainbow took her up on that. Except they only got ten seconds into the hug when a blue and white haired woman entered the room. Luna let go of Rainbow Dash and said "Ah, Vinyl. Good of you to show up. Rainbow, this is Vinyl Scratch. She will be taking you to a location so you can get that ribcage fixed." Rainbow Dash just looked at her, then finally asked "To where?"
"To Fluttershy of course. She is a cleric now, so it will be easy for you to be all healed up. Plus you will need her when you locate the scattered elements of harmony." Luna said as she smiled towards Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash couldn't believe what she just heard, that she simply said one word "What?"
"What!?!" Rainbow Dash said surprised. Everything happened fast and she needed to sort it out. Her eyes opened up wide.
"Oh shit! Mr. Cake!" Rainbow Dash said quickly getting of the bed.
"Relax will you. I moved him to a save location. He is unhurt and being held by the resistance." Luna said placing a hand on Rainbow Dash's shoulder. Rainbow then sat back on the bed sigh in relief. That now leaves the issue of Discord and Giga.
"What about the situation. Tell me about this Discord, besides the god of chaos bit." Rainbow Dash said. Luna walks to the door and signals Rainbow Dash to follow. Rainbow stood up and walked with Luna down the water lit hall. It simply was stunning that there was a place where water glows bright blue.
"Discord appeared so suddenly. Plus to make matters worse, he made the elements of chaos. Seven of them in fact. His seven generals now wield then." Luna explained looking at Rainbow Dash.
"He has seven generals that have elements? Let's just use the elements of harmony. Me and the girls can easily take care of it." Rainbow Dash said And noticed that Luna stopped walking.
"Yeah about that. Since you weren't here, Celestia and I decided to use the elements. There was one tiny problem with that idea. The elements rejected us and scattered. So I need you to locate your friends and the missing elements of harmony." Luna said smiling apologetically. Rainbow Dash's mouth was opened wide in shock. She then closed her mouth and put her hand on her face.
"Wait a second, quick question. Umm, you lost the elements of harmony?" Rainbow Dash asked not removing her hand from her face. Luna nods embarrassed by the fact.
"And why do I need to find my friends?" Rainbow Dash asked now removing her hand from her face and crossed her arms.
"After the elements scattered and Discord murdering Celestia. Your friends, well, they left. I hear though that Fluttershy is in Riversdale. So that's a start, right?" Luna said hoping that Rainbow Dash won't stay mad.
"Riversdale is a five day journey from Ponyville at least. I could get there in two days tops since I'm a Cloudsdale bird folk. But you said I have to go with feeble rats." Rainbow Dash said.
"Vinyl Scratch and we are traveling together, so get my name right." Vinyl said pissed that she was called feeble rats.
"What are the elements of chaos?" Rainbow Dash asked Luna.
"Pride, greed, lust, gluttony, envy, wrath, and slouth. Giga was wrath just so you know." Luna replied. Rainbow Dash uncrossed her arms and tucking her hands in her jacket.
"If only I came a year earlier. Fine, seeing that I don't have another choice. I'll do it." Rainbow Dash said with a sigh. Luna clapped both her hands together.
"Great! Now let's get you ready." Luna said smiling. With that last sentence Rainbow Dash got ready to leave.
It was just two days ago that Luna said before Rainbow and Vinyl left, "You will need to meet up with me in fifteen days in the city of Manhattan. There I'll have located a element of harmony. But you'll be the one to retrieve it. Good luck and save travels." They've been traveling together for two days and Rainbow Dash can't stop thinking about what Luna said to her.
"Rainbow!" Vinyl said catching Rainbow Dash's attention, "now's not the time to be lost in thought. We need to get some sleep." Rainbow Dash nods and sets the sleeping cloths on the ground. If they use sleeping bags then they can't get up for combat fast enough. They have been lucky enough that they weren't attacked by Discord's thugs or solders. They are even more lucky that they didn't even get attacked by any of the generals. Taking a route in the forest wasn't a bad idea. Good thing it wasn't the Everfree forest or they wouldn't sleep at all. Rainbow Dash was the first to fall asleep and last to wake up the next day. It was another quick night. There was a reason that it takes a five day journey. The actual path goes around the mountains that range next to Riversdale. I take a four day journey to Riversdale if they were planning on going through the mountain. There was a hidden village of people who have horns sticking out of their heads. The people were considered to be demons even though they wouldn't hurt a fly. Rainbow Dash had only been there once, but she was there for ten days. She loved the people there, specially a little girl named Suzy. The village was only halfway up the mountain and there was a secret passage to Riversdale from there. Rainbow was actually happy to see how much little Suzy grew. Finally they made it to the mountain, but Vinyl wanted a lunch break and Rainbow was hungry as well. After they finished eating in silence, cause Rainbow Dash was to focused in her thoughts that Vinyl didn't even try to start a conversation, started up the mountain. Rainbow Dash couldn't wait so she removed her jacket and handed it to Vinyl.
"I'm going to fly us up." Rainbow Dash said stretching her light brown eagle wings.
"Can bird folk fly well when they carry someone?" Vinyl asked raising a eye brow.
"Yeah, sure. I'm awesome that way." Rainbow Dash replied and then lifted Vinyl to the hidden village. When they got to the top it was surprisingly quiet.
"Did they move?" Vinyl asked. Rainbow Dash wasn't so sure. The people in the village was afraid to leave for they might be judged again.
"No they should be here. It is the middle of the day." Rainbow Dash said walking forward to investigate. She entered a house that was torn to bits. No one was inside. Vinyl looked inside and then decided to wait outside. Rainbow Dash moved to a bedroom that was also torn to bits. She noticed instantly what room it was. It was little Suzy's room, Rainbow Dash's little Suzy. Except she wasn't in her room, all she saw was bones with cloth on. Rainbow Dash stopped moving and looked at the bones that she just noticed. She stepped closer to see if she can identify who was dead. She noticed a pin was on the cloth. It was a cloud and a rainbow lightning bolt, Rainbow Dash's cutie mark. She only gave a pin to people that she connects well with.
"Damn it!" Rainbow Dash said starting to cry. It was the bones of little Suzy.
"We got about ten soldiers eating, so I thing we can sneak past them. Who knew that they'll use this place as a base. Smart if you ask me." Vinyl called into the house while staying outside. Rainbow Dash stood up and walked past Vinyl.
"Where are they?" Rainbow Dash said without looking at vinyl.
"Near the well, at the far right of the village." Vinyl replied point to the location. Rainbow Dash flew to the soldiers location and dropped down in the middle of the group. She lowered her goggles over her eyes and said in a fierce tone, "I'm going to kill you bastards." The enemy started to attack.
Vinyl didn't even take five minutes to catch up to Rainbow Dash and she couldn't believe was she saw. Vinyl has killed people, because she has a mercenary at one time. Except her never butchered anyone. Limbs and bones were scattered everywhere. The blood was even a vizable red color on the ground. In the center of the massacre was Rainbow Dash, arms covered in blood and blood splattered on the rest of her. She was holding her side like she hurt herself fighting and she was looking at the sky. Rainbow turned around the look at Vinyl. Vinyl could see her companions face now, tears not only caught in Rainbow's goggles, but we're runs down her cheeks. Rainbow walked closer to Vinyl and placed her head on Vinyl's chest.
"I blindly killed them. I slaughtered them all." Rainbow Dash said before passing out. Vinyl caught Rainbow before she fell to the ground. She had wasted all her energy on the soldiers that she not only hurt herself, but fell unconscious as well.
"Lets get you to Fluttershy. I'll come back to bury the dead." Vinyl said lifting Rainbow up to carry her to Riversdale.
Rainbow Dash finally woke up to see a light pink haired woman using the healing spell 'Green Raven'.
"Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash said sounding hourse. The woman looked at Rainbow Dash and tears started to flow from her eyes.
"I was so worried. I'm so happy that your alright." Fluttershy said pouncing on Rainbow Dash to give her a hug. Rainbow flinch in pain from the sudden embrace, but she didn't even care. She hugged Fluttershy back cursing herself for not only making Fluttershy worry about her, but making her cry as well. Fluttershy finally let go and rubbed the tears from her eyes.
"It's been so long. I've missed you so much. Sorry, I can't heal you all the way. I need to distribute my healing magic equally to all patients." Fluttershy said calming down. Rainbow Dash, who was now sitting up, looked around to see that the room was filled with patients. Fluttershy obviously had her hands full. Vinyl finally entered the room and put a hand on Rainbow Dash.
"I buried the body of the little girl." Vinyl said smiling. Rainbow nodded and then sighed.
"Hey I know. Since you didn't get cleaned up yet, how about we get you clean." Fluttershy said clapping both hands together. Rainbow Dash looked at her hands and saw that the soldiers blood had dries on her skin. She defiantly needed to get cleaned up. Rainbow Dash gets out of bed and holds out her hand to Fluttershy. Fluttershy then taking Rainbow's hand with her own, leading her to a public women's bath.
"I thought I was going to clean myself up?" Rainbow Dash asked raising a eye brow. Fluttershy turned on the hot water to the bath and turned around.
"They only have the public bathhouses. Sorry, but this is the only bathhouse that has working water." Fluttershy said feeling the water to make sure it is the right temperature.
"And it so happens that this one is right next to the boy's?" Rainbow Dash asked with her eye brow still raised.
"Yeah I guess so." Fluttershy said totally oblivious to what Rainbow Dash was trying to say. Rainbow Dash looked at the wall connecting to the men's bath and noticed a hole in the wall. It was a small hole, but still noticeable with a trained eye. Rainbow Dash looked at Fluttershy, seeing she was to busy setting up the bath. Rainbow then force palms the wall sending a gust of wind through the hole. The crashing sound on the other side prooved that Rainbow Dash make someone fly away from the wall.
"What was that sound?" Fluttershy said turning to see Rainbow Dash with a smile on her face.
"Want sound?" Rainbow Dash said tilting her head. Fluttershy shrugged and walked over to Rainbow.
"Let's just get those clothes off." Fluttershy said starting to take Rainbow's shirt of. Rainbow stopped her and said "Hey hold on. What are you doing?"
"We're going to bathe together like we did when we were kids. I can wash your delicate side since you are still injured." Fluttershy said smiling cheerfully. Rainbow Dash, knowing how innocent she was, took off her shirt. Pretty soon the two girls were naked in the bath together, with Fluttershy washing Rainbow Dash's back and eagle wings. Most bird folk had dark brown wings, less had the light brown wings like Rainbow Dash did. Fluttershy was of a rare wing class, for hers was the very rare white dove wings.
"So that's why your here." Fluttershy said gently wash her friend, "That explains the injuries. You were always careless at times. You get hurt over the account of me and then say, this is nothing. You should see the other guy." Rainbow Dash chuckled at the memory.
"Yeah it was fun time." Rainbow Dash said smiling at thought of her winning a fight.
"That was your idea of fun? Getting hurt?" Fluttershy asked worried.
"No, getting hurt protecting my little sis is what was fun. Don't judge my idea of fun." Rainbow Dash said amused with herself. Fluttershy chuckled.
"Do you have any idea how happy it makes me feel to know that you still consider me your little sister even if we aren't actually related." Fluttershy said smiling gently.
"I hope a lot cause if it didn't, I'd feel embarrassed." Rainbow Dash said with a smirk. Fluttershy hugged her friend from the back, head resting on Rainbow Dash's shoulder.
"Since your trying to get the elements of harmony back together, I think that I'll help." Fluttershy said smiling with her friend, "Now let's get the lower half of your body."
"Hey I can do that myself!" Rainbow Dash said blushing.
"Aww, but we washed each other's bodies when we were little." Fluttershy said upset.
"Except we aren't little anyone." Rainbow Dash said pushing Fluttershy away.
"Please for old times sake?" Fluttershy asked with the pouty puppy face.
"I said no!" Rainbow Dash said moving away from her. Fluttershy now has joined the group.
Rainbow Dash, thanks to Fluttershy, now is clean and hopes to stay that way. She even got her clothes washed and her rib is now three-forths healed. Sadly she must not overdo it or she will have a injured rub cage for the third time. It was getting dark and Rainbow had to get back. She always loved Fluttershy's cooking, it was the best feature about her. Considering Rainbow Dash likes to eat a lot. She was walking back to Fluttershy's place when a person grabbed her from the back.
"Look out!" The stranger said pulling Rainbow Dash to the side as a timber wolf, miss his pounce on Rainbow. The stranger was a man in a hooded cloak. It took him two seconds to take out a arrow and fire it in the head of the timber wolf.
"Who are you?" Rainbow asked the man.
"My name is Morning Dew and I'm not your friend." Morning Dew said pulling out another arrow, " so don't get the wrong idea. I'm not on your side. This is my home town so I came to terminate the problem. That is all." Rainbow Dash didn't want to argue and went with it.
"After this is over I'm taking a well deserved nap again." Morning Dew said giving out a long yawn. Rainbow could tell that he'd prefer to be lazy. The two made their way to the south entrance. When they got there, they saw Vinyl fighting and Fluttershy healing soldiers. Rainbow Dash force palms a timber wolf and it then broke into many pieces. Vinyl seemed to take them out easily with her giant sickle, doing flips and other fluid movements. Rainbow was taking them out with a single blow, but the one doing th most damage was Morning Dew. He was in the front lines and was taking them out easily without even having to shoot the arrow. When if was all over the only one not tired was Morning Dew, other then the fact that he was sleepy.
"Get stronger, we will be seeing each other again." Morning Dew said before walking off. Rainbow watched Morning Dew walk away when Fluttershy tapped on her shoulder.
"I got info on Applejack. She owns a transport airship and is said to land in Rosewater Portbay." Fluttershy said exhausted by healing many people. Rainbow Dash smiled and wiped the sweet from her forehead.
"Good. Another lead. That means..." Rainbow Dash stopped to take a breath, "That means that we have a place to head to tomorrow. I need a bath." Fluttershy's eyes widened.
"We can take a bath together again." Fluttershy said smiling and started to drag Rainbow Dash to the bathhouse.
Morning Dew walked up the mountain and looked back at Riversdale.
"Morning Dew, your a serious ass! You know that! You killed all my timber wolves that I hand picked for Lord Discord." A woman with shiny pink hair said angrily at Morning Dew. He smiled at the woman, pleased that she was mad.
"Fleur De Lis, it's so nice that a suck up is willing to talk to me. By the way, it's your fault that your precious timber wolves are dead. You did send them to my home town." Morning Dew said smiling at her trying to piss her off and it seemed to be working.
"I'm not a suck up, you lazy do little as possible nuisance. Our job is to kill them not to keep them alive." Fleur said still angry at Morning Dew. He then smiled and walked up to Fluer placing his lips near her ear.
"You make it so easy to tease you." Morning Dew said then started walking further up the mountain listening to Fleur nag at his the entire way up as he smiled.
Rainbow Dash had avoided being healed all the way. She ended up pushing herself too far and her ribs gave out again. She also had Fluttershy heal only to reconnect her ribs so no serious damage can occur. Rainbow needed to take a break from fighting or she might damage her ribs for a fourth time. When Fluttershy finished the healing of the people of Riversdale, she was extremely low on magic aura. Magic aura is how clerics, mages, and shamans are about to use magic. Use too much and it could be fatal.
Rainbow Dash was packing up, but I was Fluttershy that didn't pack light. Plus Rainbow Dash made Vinyl carry Fluttershy's things and Vinyl cursed at Rainbow Dash under her breath because of that. Luckily they didn't have it go over a mountain again since Rosewater Portbay was eastwards to Riversdale. Rainbow Dash didn't even get to carry her out things, cause Fluttershy wouldn't also it. Ever since the three of them left Riversdale, Rainbow Dash was thinking about something. Fluttershy noticed that and tried to start a conversation.
"Um... What are you thinking about?" Fluttershy asked in a low whisper, but Rainbow Dash didn't seem it hear.
"Uh... Rainbow Dash? Are you alright?" Fluttershy asked a little loud, this time Rainbow Dash noticed Fluttershy.
"What's up Fluttershy? You need something?" Rainbow Dash asked not realizing the worried look at first.
"Are thinking about Suzy?" Fluttershy asked still trying to keep up with Rainbow Dash's walking pace. Rainbow Dash realized Fluttershy was having trouble walking next to her, so Rainbow slowed her pace down.
"How do you know about Suzy?" Rainbow Dash said then glared at Vinyl who was panting, because of all of Fluttershy's bags. Vinyl stopped for a moment realizing that the other two had stopped walking and took a breather.
"It wasn't me. You talk in your sleep." Vinyl said finally able to breath. Rainbow looked at Fluttershy to see her friend was nodding. Rainbow Dash never talked in her sleep before. Well not that anybody told her until now.
"Have I always talked in my sleep?" Rainbow Dash asked raising both her eye brows. Fluttershy shook her head and replied, " No, you haven't. I've never seen you talk in your sleep when we share a bed." Rainbow Dash started to laugh and she put her hands in her jacket.
"I remember that. You always slipped into my bed when you had a nightmare." Rainbow Dash said swinging her arm around Fluttershy and pulled her close, "You were so cute back then." Rainbow Dash felt a pain go up her body and realized that she had pressed Fluttershy against her still injured ribcage. Except Rainbow didn't care about the pain at the moment, all she wanted to to was to squeeze Fluttershy in her arms.
"I'm sorry I was gone for so long. You must have been through a lot." Rainbow Dash said calmly as if she expected Fluttershy to let out tears and she did.
"It was just horrible. There was people dying and I couldn't save them. The girls all split up and I was left to handle myself."Fluttershy wailed in Rainbow Dash's arms. Rainbow was like a older sister to Fluttershy, except for the part that they aren't related by blood. Rainbow believed that she has to make up for the horror she went through. Fluttershy continued to cry letting Rainbow Dash hold onto her. Rainbow Dash didn't care that her ribcage hurt, cause she decided to squeeze Fluttershy tighter. Finally Rainbow Dash released from the embrace and kissed Fluttershy on the forehead. Which was easy to do since Fluttershy is a whole foot smaller the Rainbow Dash.
"I'm here now and I'll never leave. I'll protect you." Rainbow Dash said in a soothing tone. The rest of the time they walked in silence until dark.
It was in the middle of the night and Fluttershy couldn't sleep. She watched Rainbow Dash mutter in her sleep. Rainbow was saying 'must protect Fluttershy' over and over again. Fluttershy assumed it involves Rainbow Dash worrying that makes her talk in her sleep.She turned to look at Vinyl who was snoring in what looked to be an uncomfortable position. Vinyl then stretched, rolled over onto her stomach, and scratched her butt. Since all they have to sleep on is thin sleeping mats and no blankets of any sort, Fluttershy could see Vinyl's butt. She then quickly and gently pulled up Vinyl's pants. Luckily she didn't wake up Vinyl.Fluttershy then snuggled up to Rainbow Dash and finally got some sleep.
Fluttershy woke up to see Rainbow Dash gently shaking her. Apparently Rainbow Dash and Vinyl had already packed up.
"If your still tired I can carry you. We have to leave now or we'll miss AJ." Rainbow Dash said softly. Fluttershy held her arms out which told Rainbow that she wanted to be carried. Fluttershy didn't want to be carried because she was tired, she just felt like riding in Rainbow Dash's arms like old times. She slept until Rainbow gently shook her awake when they finally made it to Rosewater Portbay. Fluttershy realized that she had Rainbow Dash carry her all the way with a hurt rib. Knowing that Rainbow won't admit to the pain Fluttershy said nothing.
"Well is that AJ's airship?" Rainbow Dash asked pointing to the only airship that's docked.
"We made it on time. It's the Calamity." Fluttershy said running to see her friend Applejack. Rainbow Dash looked at Vinyl who was taking a breather. Vinyl nods and mouthed an inaudible 'go ahead'. Rainbow Dash nods and runs after Fluttershy. The two of them make it on the airship. It was a beautify make airship, made by a kind of wood Rainbow hadn't seen.
"What kind of wood is this?" Rainbow Dash said wondering. As if she got an wanted a reply, Rainbow Dash got her answer.
"The wood came from the hotsu tree. Near the west side of Wendasu." A female voice said behind Rainbow Dash. Rainbow turned around to see a foreign looking woman. Her hair was black and white stripped and she was wearing multiple earrings.
"Well if it isn't Zacora. I thought that you ran the black market in Ponyville?" Rainbow Dash said raising a eye brow.
"That I still do, but at this moment. A traveling black market is what I do." Zacora said smiling.
"Zacora! Your needed in the supply room." Someone else yelled in a female voice. This time it was a teenage girl with red hair and a bright red bow in her hair. She wore a light blue jacket with a yellow shirt and dark blue jeans.
"You look familiar." Rainbow Dash said looking the girl up and down.
"Well I hope so. It's been a while Rainbow, ya remember ya old friend Applebloom, right?" Applebloom said smiling at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash finally realized who she was talking to, she then glanced at Zacora who nodded at Applebloom and went to a secret door at the front of the airship. Vinyl finally made it on the airship and set Fluttershy's bags on the deck so she can stretch her aching back.
"Ya wanna have a tour of the ol' Calamity?" Applebloom asked spreading her arms to symbolize the whole airship. The girls decided to take Applebloom up on the offer and the four of them walked to the door a the back of the airship.
"The Captain's chambers is up there, underneath the steering wheel. Every other room is behind this door, except for the supply room of course." Applebloom said pointing to the secret door on the deck at the front of the airship. They then entered through the door they were near and went down two flights of stairs. They were now standing in front of a metal door with a small round window in the center.
"We'll start here. This is the engine room and technically it only opens from the inside." Applebloom said and knocked on the metal door. Then the heard a male voice yelled coming and the door opened. He looked to be about fifteen years ago and was skronny. He wore a tank top that was too big for his and very baggy pants. He was bare foot and was covered In soot.
"Hey, Pip! Who's there?" A female voice asked. The voice can from what looked like a very complex work of pipes, which a pair of legs stuck out of.
"Applebloom's brought Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash for a visit. Plus someone I don't even know." Pipsqueak replied.
"What!?" The voice yelled and then there came a large bang, "Fuck that hurt!" The girl slid out from underneath the pipes and sat up. She had a band strapped around her chest and legless pants. Like Pipsqueak, she was as well covered in soot. She rubbed her forehead and then stood up.
"Ya okay Sweetie Bell?" Applebloom asked. Sweetie Bell stretched her back and walked over to Applebloom.
"I'm fine, but I see you weren't kidding. It's been a while Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy. Who are you?" Sweetie Bell said.
"The names Vinyl Scratch, I'm Rainbow's bodyguard ordered by Luna." Vinyl said crossing her arms. Sweetie nods and turns around signaling the others two follow her. Sweetie Bell explains the the pipework, but Rainbow Dash didn't even get what she was saying.
"That pretty much sums up the pipework." Sweetie Bell said and suddenly a pipe burst," Damn! Pip, we have a leak." Pipsqueak ran to a metal wheel and started to turn it counter clockwise, while Sweetie Bell ran quickly grabbing her wrench. She quickly climbed up the pipes to get to the upper and inner pipework. Soon the pipework was fixed and Sweetie Bell jumped down to the ground.
"When we get to Lainber, we can get replacement parts." Sweetie Bell said looking at Pipsqueak.
"But there's a pipework shop here. Why do you want to buy in Lainber?" Rainbow Dash said.
"You weren't paying attention, were you?" Sweetie Bell asked crossing her arms.
"No, not really. It was hard to understand." Rainbow Dash said scratching the back of her head. Sweetie Bell sighed and shook her head.
"How typical of you. The steam pipes are but a third of the engine. The pipes leak all the time, it doesn't mean that they break easily." Sweetie Bell said as simply as she could. Luckily Rainbow Dash understood what Sweetie Bell was saying. Finally they said bye for now and went up a flight of stairs too continue the tour.
"Tha's where we eat and behind the door is the kitchen. Give me a moment. BIG MAC!" Applebloom said And instantly a head popped out of the door.
"Eeyup?" Big Mac said smiling.
"Tha's the chef. He makes ya food. Is lunch ready?" Applebloom said.
"Nope!" Big Mac said poking his head back inside and closing the door.
"There is the bunks." Applebloom said pointing to the other side of the room. There seemed to only be one person on bed side of the room. He was sleeping on the round window seal. He has short black hair and a scraggly hair style. He wore a black t-shirt, dark brown baggy pants, black sneakers, and a necklace with a shark tooth on it.
"Who's he?" Fluttershy asked pointing to the man.
"Who Nightshade? He flies the ship at night and sleeps during the day. He ain't mute, but he doesn't talk to anyone." Applebloom said. Applebloom signaled everyone to follow her and walked toward the deck. Fluttershy waited looking at Nightshade. Rainbow Dash placed a hand on Fluttershy's shoulder and they left to catch up with the others. Once they made it to the deck Applebloom continued the tour.
"Over there is the secret door and that's where we stash our illegal goods. I don't need to show you that room, but I'm definitely going to show you the Captain's quarters. She'd be glad to see you." Applebloom said.
"APPLEBLOOM!" A manly female voice yelled. It sounded like it came from above them. There leaning over the railing was a woman with size-F boobs.
"Sunblazer said that you were showing weird people the airship." The woman said angrily.
"Except that ya know these people, Applejack." Applebloom said looking straight up at Applejack. The next couple moments were in silence and then Applejack jumped over the railing and landed on the deck. Instantly when Applejack saw Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash a smile grew on her face.
"Well can me a sidewinder on a cold winter day, I haven't seen the two of ya in forever." Applejack said instantly hugging them both at the same time and didn't seem to want to let go, " It's good to see ya sugercubes. I've missed ya both so much."
"I didn't know that rivals could miss each other." Rainbow Dash said trying to breath. Normally It wasn't hard to breathe when Applejack gives a bear hug, but back then Applejack was only a C-cup. Applejack did one more squeeze and then let go.
"Just because we are rivals, don't mean we ain't pals. Besides, you haven't seemed to grow out of that C-cup." Applejack said smiling.
"Well at least I'm not killing my friends with over sized boobs." Rainbow Dash said smirking. The two started sparking an angry look at each other, which made Fluttershy get nervous. Vinyl put her hand on Fluttershy's shoulder gaining her attention.
"Does this happen all the time?" Vinyl asked and instantly Applejack noticed Vinyl.
"Okay, ya I know I don't know. Who are ya?" Applejack asked Vinyl.
"Luna hire me to bodyguard Rainbow Dash." Vinyl replied. Applejack apparently was satisfied with the answer. She decided to have Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash a bed in her Quarters, which made Fluttershy perk up in glee and Rainbow Dash raise a eye brow. Vinyl shrugged and went to the sleeping bunks to take a long deserved nap. Applebloom left to finish her job before they had to leave. That left Applejack, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash to head to the Captain's quarters. There Rainbow explained the situation which Applejack kept silent, listening to every detail.
"It sounds like a counted attack in progress." Applejack said with a straight look," so that's what I was waiting for. Finally a plan to defeat that sorry bastard. Rarity's is Lanine, which is where my delivery must head to. I visit Rare when I drop off goods is Lanine." With the talking over and done with, it was time to head to the destination. Applejack have joined the group.
It was a bright night flying in the sky. Rainbow Dash stood at the edge of the railing at the front of the airship. She wasn't the only one who experienced death of someone. Fluttershy couldn't heal everyone and Applejack named her airship off her dead friend Calamity. She believed that she should be glad she wasn't the only one, but why was she so depresses.
"You okay Rainbow?" Fluttershy asked walking toward Rainbow Dash and stood next to her near the railing. She was smiling, but couldn't hide the worry in her eyes.
"I saw a lot death the four years I've been gone. I thought the death will be over when I got back, but I was wrong." Rainbow Dash replied not looking at Fluttershy, but at the long night sky. It was cold out, but soothing.
"I'm sorry. This quest is the least of what you wanted. Just more death and war, right?" Fluttershy said And started to shed tears, "Why am I crying? Your the one who's depressed." Rainbow looked at Fluttershy and placed her hand on her shoulder. Rainbow then turned Fluttershy to face her and Rainbow kissed her on the lips. That caught Fluttershy by surprise and was even more shock when Rainbow started moving her tongue in Fluttershy's mouth. Fluttershy pushed Rainbow away, then she covered her mouth with her hand while her face was bright red.
"W-why d-did you d-do that?" Fluttershy asked embarrassed. Rainbow laughed and ruffled Fluttershy's hair.
"Just think of it as a sisterly kiss." Rainbow Dash said feeling better.
"I don't think sister's kiss with the tongue." Fluttershy said upset and still blushing.
"Oh come on. It's okay to sleep together and bath together, but not kiss?" Rainbow Dash lifted an eyebrow.
"Maybe a kiss on the cheek or forehead will be fine, but not a kiss on the lips." Fluttershy replied not looking at Rainbow.
"Your to cute, kiddo." Rainbow Dash said smiling ruffling Fluttershy's hair again.
"I'm only a year younger than you." Fluttershy shot back pouting. Rainbow poked Fluttershy's forehead and smiled.
"Your also an inch shorted. Come on, I need some sleep." Rainbow said and Fluttershy knew that she'd lost the argument. They then climbed the first set of stairs and noticed Nightshade was flying then airship in the cold night with no warm coat on. Fluttershy walked over and placed her white clerics rob on him. He looked at her with a surprised look on his face. He then took it off and handed it to her shaking his head. Fluttershy pushed it back and said, "You'll freeze if you don't have something warm on." Nightshade sighed and put the clerics rob on. Fluttershy smiled and walked with Rainbow up one more set of stairs to the Captain's quarters. Once Nightshade had concluded that he was alone, he then smiled.
