The clock sent painful shivers through Rainbow Dash’s spine. It felt like her back was being trampled by a marching band of elephants. Its continuous echoes—the only sound in the room apart from her forced breaths—made her shiver each time it rang against her eardrums. She was sitting on a simple plastic chair in the waiting room, numerous equally bland chairs filling up the rest of it. There was a corner with lots of foal toys and a magnet wall like the workers didn’t even try when they furnished the place, paintings of crudely colored outlines of teeth with smiling faces and oversized toothbrushes in their white arms were plastered over every inch of it. What a pathetic attempt to make this torture chamber look more friendly. Rainbow Dash’s hooves were crossed and pearls of sweat kept forming on her forehead, running down and disappearing in her fur. It was only a matter of minutes before it would begin. “Hey, Dashie, you alright?” A pink hoof pushed into Rainbow’s elbow, and she saw Pinkie shoot her a playful smile. Dash said nothing, only blinking once. “Ah come on, there is nothing to be worried about! I’ve been to the dentist countless times before, and never anything bad happened. Trust me, you’ll love Doctor Colgate!” Dash twitched at the mention of the doctor, making her open her eyes wide for a second. She looked at her friend. “Pinkie… you know I have terrible experiences from my childhood because of dentists. I haven’t been to one since I was seven for Celestia’s sake!” Dash looked to the floor. “I don’t know if I can do this. This is worse than the spa.” Pinkie’s ears perked and she started beaming. She got up and pointed at Dash. “Wait here for a second, I’ll be right back.” Dash watched her friend leaving her all alone. Alone with this damn clock and terrible portraits of foals who probably learned how to hold a crayon on the same day they drew these pictures. She turned around, glancing out of the open window. It was so easy! All she had to do was open her wings and fly as far away from the dental clinic as possible. Nopony would know where she could be, and even if they found her, not even ten bulls could get her back to this horror place. A sting of pain shot through her jaw’s left side and she brought a hoof up to rub her cheek as she grimaced. Oh yeah… Pinkie came back as Dash continued to caress the spot, a wide smile on her face. “What did you do?” Dash asked. “I told Doctor Colgate about this being your first visit to a dentist in years,” Pinkie replied with a knowing smile. Dash raised an eyebrow. “That’s all? I could’ve told her that myself, you know.” “Oh of course, but I figured you might need some… special treatment to get over your fears.” “Special treatment? Like what?” Dash inquired. “Don’t worry, you will see soon.” With that, Pinkie looked straight forward, a grin keep being plastered on her face. Dash remained silent too. I don’t even want to know what she asked for. Probably to make torture ride only super painful instead of extremely painful. Another shiver went through her body. “Miss Rainbow Dash?” a new voice suddenly called out. Dash and Pinkie looked towards an assistant with a notepad in her right hoof. No one said anything for a few seconds. “That’s you, Dashie,” Pinkie whispered, giving her another nudge. “Oh. Right.” Taking a deep breath, Rainbow got up and slowly walked out of the waiting room with all the enthusiasm of an inmate walking to her execution. The assistant, turned around and motioned Dash to follow her. They walked for a short while through a few corridors until they came to a door that read “Examination Room No. 4”. The assistant pointed a hoof towards the obnoxious, white chair in the middle as they entered the room. “Take a seat, please. Doctor Colgate will be ready for you in a few minutes.” Dash slowly nodded and she was left alone as she took a seat. She examined the room. The white floor tiles, wall, and ceiling that made the entire room feel like a single-colored square without any hint of warmth, which didn’t help reduce her light shivering. Instead of a ridiculously loud clock hammering against her ears all that could be heard was the continuous sound of steam being blasted through tubes. A few lights blinked from some switches. But as Dash’s eyes stopped at the tray next to her chair her heart skipped a beat. Various tools of all kinds, mostly curved needles on a metallic sticks and small, round mirrors with different sizes, mocked her. Images of blood and misery flashed through her mind as she continued to stare at the tray, her breathing become more rapid and harsher with every second. “Good afternoon, Miss Dash.” Rainbow’s anxiousness was broken at the sound of the new, cheerful voice. She turned around to the door. A blue unicorn with a slightly darker hue than Dash’s fur as well as blue and white mane walked in with a friendly smile. “You must be Doctor Colgate…” Dash said. The dentist smiled a little wider. “That’s right, although Colgate is just fine too.” She took a seat on a turnable chair, its whiteness not giving it any contrast from the bland room. “So, as I understand it by what your friend Pinkie told me, this is your first visit to a dentist since you were a filly at the age of seven?” Dash simply nodded without looking at her. “It is none of my business to ask you why that is the case, but I can assure you there is nothing to be worried about. All I’m going to do is check your teeth for any problems and, if I can find anything, I will fix it.” Rainbow allowed herself to finally look at the dentist, though with an unchanged fearful expression. “Will you hurt me?” Colgate chuckled a little. “As I said, you shouldn’t worry. I will not hurt you.” “But what if you slip with one of those needle thingies right into my gums?” Dash threw up her hooves in exasperation. “If you keep your head nice and still I won’t slip and will not make you feel any pain.” She got closer to the patient’s chair and looked at Dash with a soft smile. “Just relax. Lay back and don’t be afraid.” As Dash did as told, without any nod, she saw Colgate’s horn lighting up at the corner of her eye. She almost shrieked when the backrest of the chair suddenly began to slowly move down. The equally white ceiling was slowly emerging from her still head and eye position. When the chair reached a position at which Dash was almost completely straight laying on the chair it stopped. Then a huge device with four big lamps that was attached to the ceiling was turned on and moved over her head. Dash shut her eyes close and tilted her head to the side as the bright light blinded her. Eventually she allowed herself to look at it again. “Now, just open wide.” She quickly glanced over and saw Colgate levitating a dental explorer next to her, as well as sporting a surgeon’s mask. Slowly opening her mouth, Dash felt the cold the needle-topped metal stick enter. It softly tucked one of her molars, making her eyes shoot open a little. Then she felt the needle scratching at them. Dash rapidly shook her head, waving her hoof to motion Colgate to get the explorer out. “No, no.” Colgate removed the tools. Dash turned her head around and spat into the small sink next to her, then washing her mouth with the cup of water that stood there prepared for her. “I’m sorry, I… I just can’t do this.” Colgate sighed and put the explorer back onto the tray. “I’ve seen a lot already, Miss Dash, but you must have one of the worst cases of dentist phobia I’ve ever seen.” She tilted Rainbow’s head towards her with her hoof. Rainbow obliged, although she winced a little as the dentist’s hoof touched her lower head. Colgate smiled warmly. “I know saying ‘Don’t worry, everything is fine’ over and over again doesn’t really help at all. So why don’t you just sit back and explain to me what exactly is causing your fears?” She let go of Dash’s mouth and let her lay back down onto the straight chair, looking back up again. Dash nodded and her rapid breathing calmed down a little. “Well… it happened back at my old dentist at Cloudsdale. I had to wear braces as a filly.” “Mhm, go on,” Colgate said as she nodded. “I had no problem with them at first. Heck, if it weren’t for them I probably wouldn’t have such an awesome smile today! But then, one day…” Dash trailed off, her belly moving up and down faster again. Colgate sighed and scratched her head. “I can’t help you if you don’t tell me what you fear, Miss Dash.” Taking a deep breath, Dash focused her eyes on one spot of the ceiling again. “My dentist was ill when I had one of my scheduled examinations for my braces. I couldn’t postpone the appointment, so I had to go to another one. But he…” She gulped. “He was drunk. As he tightened my braces, as it should always happen once a month, he… he overshot it.” She put her head into her hooves. “Not cool…” Colgate blinked a few times, her jaw slightly dropped. She silently coughed once as she let patient cry into herself. Then, she stood up from her chair and moved around to the lower end of the patient chair, levitating her surgeon’s mask onto the tray on the way there. As she arrived there, she leaned over Dash’s exposed rear. Colgate smiled. “You know, not all dentists are terrible.” “What are you–” Before Dash could finish responding, Colgate dug her tongue deep inside Dash’s marehood, a violent shake instantly going through the pegasus. Dash’s cries were immediately overshadowed by a soft moan and she allowed herself to move her hooves away again, looking at the dentist working in between her legs. Colgate gently moved up and down Dash’s lips, penetrating them with her tongue and playing with her slowly hardening clitoris. Every once in a while she stopped and blew some cold air over Dash’s marehood before she continued. Dash’s moans started to increase ever so slightly as she uncomfortably shifted her entire body around on the chair. “I’m not sure if this is a good idea…” she said. “What if somepony hears us?” Colgate giggled into Dash’s marehood. “Trust me, nopony will hear us. Besides,” she looked up to meet Rainbow’s eyes, “you have fears to overcome.” She turned back down and continued her work at Dash’s vagina, a few drips of her juices already leaking out, falling onto the leathery chair. Dash rested back down, staring at the ceiling once again. Then she put her hooves behind her head. She smiled. “I think I’m already starting to feel a little better.” “Is that so?” Colgate asked. She stood up and slowly moved towards Dash’s resting head, not taking her grace off her eyes. Dash returned the gesture. Colgate let her head hover over Dash’s as she arrived, casting a little shadow over the pegasus’s face. For a moment they just looked at each other, smiling, exploring the other’s eyes. She has beautiful blue irises, Dash thought. A warm shiver spread out through her body as Colgate slowly blinked, her eyelashes’ fluid swing making Dash feel like the cold snow on a winter morning was blasted away from the ground in one motion. As Dash’s mouth slowly opened, Colgate’s eyes seemed to blink, and she shot down, letting their lips meet. Dash’s eyelids shot open for a second as she felt the warm and wet rims of the dentist pushing against her own, and she tried to block her mouth with her teeth shut and tongue pressing against it for the moment. But then she closed her own eyes too and moved her teeth aside, letting Colgate’s tongue enter her mouth. It graced her own tongue, the irregular patterns of the two blathering over each other like a race of snakes. Dash softly moaned into Colgate’s mouth as they started exploring each other’s mouth, Colgate carefully avoiding any contact with the bad tooth. She tasted her own warm marejuices inside of her, bundled with Colgate’s mint-fresh saliva, increasing her arousal even faster. For Dash it was an aroma of sweet toothpaste. A barely audible smck echoed through the examination room as they kissed softly for a last time. Then Colgate moved her head upwards again, both mares opening their eyes to look into each other again. Colgate’s smile became wider. “Yes, I definitely think you’re feeling better.” She picked up a dental explorer and mirror with her magic and let it float over towards them. “Shall we start the examination now?” she asked. Rainbow nodded and opened her mouth wide without any complaint. Colgate chuckled and looked into Rainbow’s mouth. The explorer scratched lightly against Dash’s teeth, electing small shivers each time, although they were far less noticeable and more relaxed than before. She felt the round mirror being pushed around in her mouth, smearing against her cheeks and letting the cold metal warm up in no time. Suddenly though, Colgate stopped, and her smile faltered a little. “Have you been in any physical accidents recently, Miss Dash?” She levitated both tools out and let Dash spit her saliva out. She put a hoof behind her back and blushed a little. “Uh… yeah. I kinda… crashed into Twilight’s library yesterday. That’s why I’m here. This tooth,” she pointed to the spot Colgate had just inspected, “has been hurting like crazy since then.” Colgate nodded. “Your tooth has been janked out of its socket a little. This will naturally fix over time, but I can understand you want to get rid off this now. Well, there are some… ‘undocumented tricks’ to dentistry.” She opened a drawer of a nearby worktable and let a round, plastic object fly out. “This is a sample occlusal splint, otherwise also simply known as bite plane or night guard. You need to put this into your mouth and bite as hard as you can until your tooth cracks back into place.” Rainbow’s eyes shot open. “That’s going to hurt even more! No way!” Colgate chuckled. She leaned in close to Rainbow’s left ear, and whispered, “I can help you ease the pain.” She kissed her head below the ear. Rainbow blushed harder and she rapidly shifted her eyes between Colgate and the floor. “Oh, uhm… I-if you say so…” She nodded and opened her mouth and Colgate inserted the occlusal splint. Her horn became brighter as she focused her magic on the object once it was resting atop of Dash’s teeth. It started vibrating, and seconds later it became smaller and smaller, the empty air spots in between being pushed out as though they were vacuum bags. Her horn’s light died down and she looked at the plastic brace. “That looks fine. Now, I’ve made the spot above your injured tooth a little thicker, so you’ll have a larger area to press onto. It should also help to make the pain less concentrated and dampen it.” Rainbow nodded and closed both her eyes and mouth. She gently started to bite down, a sting of pain immediately resounding from her jaw like a hammer was smashed against it. Colgate shifted her attention towards her tray again, picked up a new dental explorer, and positioned herself over Dash’s belly from the side. “Keep on pressing.” As Dash continued to try and overcome herself, her mouth’s jittering showing its fruitlessness, Colgate gently positioned the tip of the pointy metal stick a few hair lengths above her skin. Slowly she let it slide over it, letting Dash’s fur hair wildly dance around like it was having a party. Occasionally she very gently let the pointy end touch her body, releasing soft yelps each time as Dash continued to try and push down. Colgate smiled as she saw Dash’s cheeks slowly getting redder, the explorer slowly caressing her hoof back and forth along the fur. She turned around and focused her eyes on the exposed marehood of Dash again. Lost in her fruitless struggles to overcome the efforts to get the occlusal splint to put her tooth back into place, Dash didn’t see Colgate lifting another explorer as well as a dental mirror from the tray. Curiosity glimmering in her eyes, Colgate positioned the mirror just an inch in front of Dash’s clitoris, inspecting the nub from all angles. She added the second explorer to the tray, slowly positioning it in front of the clitoris with the blunt side. “Miss Dash, try very hard now.” “Huh?” Dash muffled through the splint. Before she could open her eyes or even ask any more questions, Colgate let the explorer’s blunt side press against Dash’s nub, instantly letting the patient twitch with her entire body. An explosion of storming feelings burst through her brain, screams underlining her situation from the outside. She stretched up her back as Colgate continued to caress her clitoris with the cold, thin metal. There was no pain, but she couldn’t help but tighten every part of her body. Slowly, Colgate let the metal slide off of Dash’s clitoris again. Dash started to relax a little, letting her spasmic body slowly fall back into its original position and her screams fading away. Slowly, she let her tongue fall out between her teeth and the splint that was only attached to the jaw at this point. A faint blush appeared on her face as she started to moan softly, “Feeling better, Miss Dash?” Colgate asked with a teasing smile. “What do you mean?” Dash asked. She looked at Colgate, staring into her eyes for a few seconds. Then her own sprung open and she hastily touched her face with her hoof. “It’s… gone!” She got up and spat out the splint into the small sink next to her, not stopping to touch the side of her face. “The pain, it’s all gone!” Dash looked at Colgate with a huge smile, showing her good tooth back in its original place. “Thank you so, so much, Doctor!” “Oh don’t mention it.” Colgate chuckled. “It’s my job!” “No, you’re definitely awesome, Doctor Colgate! Maybe…” Dash giggled into her hoof a little. “Maybe I will have teeth problem again sometime soon.” Colgate stepped towards Dash. She leaned her head forwards, only inches away from reaching each other. “Always at your service,” she whispered with a grin. Dash kissed her forehead. Dash walked out of the examination room, the huge smile on her face not having disappeared in the least yet. The place seemed so much friendlier and more colorful, now that its appearance no longer had any reason to frighten Dash. She walked around the corner to meet Pinkie in the waiting room again, waiting for her with a knowing smile. “Oh Dashie, you’re back! How was it?” Dash blushed a little and put a hoof around her head. “Oh, uh, it was great, actually. Really, really, uhm… awesome.” Pinkie winked. “Told ya.”
