I am tasked by the UN to go to Equestria, togheter with 5 mtf people and Pinkie, to get her home and estanlish a base and relationship between Equestria in our world. But things on both sides go wrong.
It has been 3 months since Pinkie has been in the human world, and the whole world knows about it. After a meeting with the U.N. I am tasked, together with a squad of 5 MTF guys and Pinkie Pie, to go to Equestria, get Pinkie home and establish a safe and secure base and relationship there. But during a containment breach at site-209, we're stuck in Equestria. Meanwhile somewhere on Equuis an old threat is rising again and is more dangerous then ever

10:39 am (local time) somewhere above the Atlantic near the American coast
I was in a deep sleep, dreaming about the ride in the theme park. The ups and downs were feeling amazing. It was like I was in a plane or something.
"Quentin, wake up! We're almost there!" some voice said.
"Ugh.... how late is it?" I said, still a bit sleepy. I'm not usually awake that quick.
"Doesn't matter, we're almost there!" said the same voice. It was the voice of no other then Pinkie Pie.
I woke up in an instant when I realized where I was again. I was on a plane that's flying towards America with Pinkie. I was going building of the UN. But not just any building, it was the HQ of the UN. I remembered that Pinkie and I were going to talk to the world leaders about Pinkie. 3 months long has Pinkie been in the human world with me. She has no idea how she got here or what happened before she got here, but they said that I would be able to get her back to Equestria if I could get there ASAP. And I wasn't on just any regular plane, no... I was on the private jet of the king of the Netherlands (who was also on the plane). It just felt weird to be on such plane with such comfort.
"How long till' we're there?" I said. How long have I been asleep since I was on the plane. Heck, when did I even fall asleep?
"The pilot said it'll be 15 minutes, but we have to prepare for the landing right now" She said a bit nervous
"Right now?" I thought to myself "Why would the pilot say we have to prep now? It must be for a good reason.
Pinkie seemed to be very nervous. Meeting leaders who could probably cut your head off if you offend them. Maybe I shouldn't have said that to Pinkie...
"Je moet klaar zijn waneer we landen, want we worden meteen vervoerd naar het VN gebouw" Willem, king of the Netherlands said. He talked like this was his everyday job because it is his everyday job.
"Did you forgot to talk English near Pinkie?" I said with a bit annoyed. He did it for like the 10th time like now.
Actually it's the 15th time right now. He made that mistake a couple of times on the plane" How did she...?
"Hey look at that!" Pinkie yelled full of excitement. You could see these longswords and shortswords out of the window. I've asked people who made these thing on how they managed to make these thing. They replied with "It's the 23 century, what else do you expect?" I have to say, even though most things still looked like the stuff in the 21th century, you had a couple of things which looked like stuff from Halo. Everybody loved Halo. No one hated it.
"Hello, this your captain speaking. These long- and shortswords around us are for protection" Bit late for protection, isn't it? Although these things weren't made for long distance travel, yet. "The local enforcement managed to subdued people who wanted to use rocket launchers to take down the plane from the beach and the Church of the Broken God has managed to get their hands on jets. The Foundation think they'll use it to take down this plane with everyone aboard as they believe that 'gods creations' won't die. Anyway, we will arrive at airport LaGuardia within 5 minutes."
10:54 AM (Local time) Airport LaGuardia, 10 seconds after landing)
I stretched my legs and arms because I have been sitting in the same position for 3 hours. I looked out the window and saw a lot of military.
"Lots of military, huh?" said a steward, who looked out of the window.
"I didn't know that Captain Obvious!" I said to tease him. He looked away from the window and gave a glare in return.
The door opened, and immediately the marines and vehicles started to form a wall. They formed a straight but narrow path towards the building of the airport.
"Follow me! I know where to go!" I said to tease the others. I stepped out of the plane, following the path (if I could go anywhere else) and walked through the door into the building. There was more military inside there. I saw a lot of sandbags and stuff like you see if Afghanistan.
"This way,sir. Your taxi is waiting" said a marine. They're calling me sir now? that's some respect. Although they could be talking to the king who was standing next to me. I followed the marine to our taxi, which turned out to be a pelican, again something from Halo. I stepped into the pelican.
"Looks bigger on TV" I said with disappointment. Why is everything bigger on TV?
The pelican took off with a couple of other air vehicles such as Falcons, Hornets and Hawks.
"You're really nervous, are you?" I said to Pinkie. She was more silent then usual, like someone said that if you say to a leader that he has a bad haircut, he'll order people to shoot you down... I should stop scaring her with that. I looked out of the open hatch door. I saw a lot of Scorpions and Grizzly tanks, all kinds of Warthogs, Vultures, Cobras, you name it. Every damn vehicle was on the street, blocking the way for public and traffic. I wasn't that far from the building though, but for safety measures, we had to use the pelican.
12:50 (local time)] UN HQ, 10 minutes till meeting
Pinkie and I were very nervous. In the presence of every world leader... I can't tell if I should be scared of delighted.
"They.. They aren't meanies, are they?" Pinkie asked, very scared and nervous. Like someone... Ugh, why did I even told her these things?
"Some of them are in their own country,like China or uhm... some leaders from African countries, but don't worry, they won't hurt you because uh... you're the first... pony to be here of... your kind and... they are interested in you." Didn't sound very reassuring.
"5 minutes until the meeting" a woman through the intercom said.
"Come on Pinkie, let's go to the entrance of the meeting room" I said with a sigh.
13:00 (Local time) UN meeting room
"The room seems a lot smaller on TV" I said very surprised before the announcer said that the meeting about the 'issue' has begun. "I've looked through a book called "How to stand in the meeting room of the UN, but I have to say that I'm still very nervous."
I walked up to my stand, grabbed all my confidence with a deep breath and said:
"Hello, leaders of the world... if that's ok if I can call you that.." I said
"Just call us "guys", we don't mind" said the president of America, Barrack Obama. "By the way, you're as important as us right now. Maybe even more then the all of us together!" while spreading his arms.
"Ok, guys..." I said to myself in a tone that only I could hear. "right.... So, my name is Quentin and this here is Pinkie Pie. She's the pony from the other world. She has no idea what happened before she got here or how she got here, but I can tell that she was sad for a couple of days and every time I tried to talk about it, she goes into sad mode. So please... no questions about how she got here." "A good beginning" I thought. "Hope the rest goes like that as well.
"What has she been doing here in our world?" said the leader of China.
"She has been throwing parties, and throwing more parties she threw for the parties she already threw. And these parties also got a party. Oh, and once a week she has been baking about a thousand cupcakes." I said
"I didn't bake a thousand, but a million" Pinkie said.
"What...? A million? How is that even possible?" I was very surprised about this. It's impossible theoretically as practically . ' "It's just me being, y'know, me!" How did I forget that? probably the nerves..." In an annoyed voice. How can I forget that Pinkie Pie is just Pinkie Pie?
"I think that answers your question?" I said in a sort of sarcastic way.
"Yes it did."
"Alright, next question!" I said with a good mood. I couldn't show that I was nervous because when I am, it looks like I'm about to die. I have gone to hospital like 20 times because of that.
"Where does she come from?" said the Japanese leader with a very curious tone.
"You could better ask Pinkie. Even though she talked about it to me, she's still the expert on Equestria and her culture at the moment,."
"Alright... Pinkie..." His look on his face said he didn't like to say that because it was a name for a cartoon character. "Where do you come from? How does your world look like?" He continued.
"I come from the planet Equuis." She said with a nervous tone. Less nervous than before the meeting, but still pretty nervous. "There're a lot "mythological creatures" where I live. Us ponies are one of them, except the Earth ponies." This is going good i thought to myself. She was brightening up "Even tough ponies live all across the planet, the most of our population lives in Equestria, my home country." I had a surprised look on how she was talking so serious. You don't expect that from a crazy party pony "I live in a village called Ponyville, near the Everfree forest. It lies in the middle of Equestria. It's a very peacefull village. But the forest we live next to is very dangerous. It has all these kinds of creatures that rip you apart and kill you when you're in their belly." If I got a camara, I would take a picture of the faces of every single president, queen and dictator. It's such a hilarious sight. "The forest is pretty much like your nature, because in Equestria ponies take care of the animals and the Pegasi control the weather. And the unicorns..." But before she could say the rest, Elizabeth (Queen of England) cut her off and said:
"Wait, did you just say 'control the weather?"
"uh yeah" Pinkie said, again annoyed "It's the job of the Pegasi to produce weather and spread it all over Equestria, except above the Everfree, there the weather moves on it's own. So, the unicorn..."
"Who's your ruler?" said the leader of Spain, who received a glare from Pinkie. That quickly disappeared when she got a frightened look. I wonder why...
"Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. They're both alicorns and are very powerful. Celestia raises the sun and Luna the moon" She said with a frightened and nervous tone. Did somebody say something like that they cut your head off when you even glared in the slightest?
"Excuse me, but what are alicorns?" said the leader of France who never heard of such thing. Pinkie wanted to answer his question, but someone from the east beat her to it "They are what you western people call 'winged unicorns'. It was no other then the Chinese king. "they're very powerful and are still feared by our elders because in our culture, they destroyed villages and lives of people."
"I can say that they won't harm anypony unless you attack one of us. Equestria in a peaceful country and the princesses want to keep it that way. Even if that means killing something even if they don't want to."
"So you do have any military?" Obama said. Of course he had one of the biggest armies.
"A few cities have, but their military isn't big. You could count the royal guard as military, although they're mainly for the protection of the princesses."
"You're country never had war or any other threat that needed to be 'neutralized'?" said the leader of Germany. From who else could you expect such question?
"We'll there was that time when Luna turned into an evil pony called Nightmare Moon and wanted to make it eternal darkness, but she's normal again thanks to the Elements of Harmony. And that time when Discord broke loose out of his stone prison and made chaos all over the land. Again, we used the Elements to defeat him and turn him back into stone. Sometime later we put him out of his stone prison and got him reformed now thanks to Fluttershy. Oh, there was that one time the Changelings attacked Canterlot, our capital. Thanks to Princess Cadence and Twilight's brother Shining Armor we defeated them and banished them to a far away land, but some ponies think they'll return..."
"What are the Elements of Harmony?" said Putin. You could make up that these elements had some great power.
"You can ask that to me" I said "Pinkie has told me about them and I've been studying what she said. Apparently said that these are the most powerful things in Equestria once all the 6 elements are present and activated by their respective pony who represents them. Only these ponies can control them unless they're 'changed' and represent the opposite. There are only 6 of them and all of them are known: Loyalty, Honesty, Generosity, Laughter, Kindness and the most powerful of all, Magic. But even then you something like a tesseract to use it"
"Who are the ones who control the elements?" said Willem, king of the Netherlands. Concern was spread among some leaders. If this is true, it could possibly wipe out humanity.
"Me and my friends." Pinkie said, lightened up a bit. She likes to talk about her friends. She can go on for hours and hours talking about them, even if you just asked what their names are. It became a rule not to talk about them because I don't want to listen to ramble. So it's better to avoid the to..
"And what are their names?" asked the Italian leader. Here we go...
"In order of the elements Quentin said it's: Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, me, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. Rarity is a Unicorn, and she runs a shop called "The Carousel Boutique" in Ponyville." said Pinkie. I knew she was going to ramble. "She seemed very happy all the sudden. "She also designs dresses, Mares and Stallions alike. I have to say that she can be a drama queen that now and then and doesn't like to get dirty. But for her friends, she would jump into a pile of mud to same them. Twilight is, well was an unicorn, but after she learned the true meaning of friendship, she turned into an alicorn and is now a princess. First she didn't care about it until the events of Nightmare Moon. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are both Pegasi. Rainbow Dash is on of the fast flyers in Ponyville if not of whole Equestria! But she can be very lazy, especially during her nap time, but if any of her friends need help, she's always there for them. Fluttershy is very shy and takes care of the animals around Ponvylle. These range from ground to flying animals. She's very kind and doesn't get angry, but she goes insane if animals are afraid of her, just like at the Galloping Gala. Me and Applejack are both Earth ponies, but what we lack in wings and horns, we make up for strength. Applejack runs together with her family an apple orchard called "Sweet Apple Acres". She's the most dependable pony in Ponyville and is always honest. And I'm the most super-duper party pony in Equestria! I do every kind of parties and they're always fun! I also like to see my friends smile."
Every leader seemed to be very interested in Equestria. It sounded like the perfect place to them.
"Are you ok Quentin? You seem very stressed." I wanted to shout "Of course I am! I didn't want to hear the terror of ramble again!
"Did you say... unicorn?" said the king of Scotland. Every leader raised their heads like a dog that heard something in the distance.
"Yeah, is that weird?" Pinkie said. I face palmed and said.
"Pinkie, did you forget that unicorns only exists in fairy tales and that there's no magic in our world?"
"Sorry, forgot that!" YOU'RE HERE FOR 3 FLIPPIN' MOTHS AND YOU FORGET THAT? Sometimes to pony drives me crazy.
I looked at the leaders and you could see they were talking about how they needed to have and maintain a strong relationship with Equestria. If their leaders were able to control the sun and the moon and they had unicorns who possibly have magic, what else could they have and what are they all capable off? Then something popped into my mind about another princess.
"Oh Pinkie, I think you forgot to talk about one princess." I said with a normal tone
Pinkie looked at me with a confused stare.
"who...?" Really? You trow a wedding party for her. "O yeah... Princess Cadence. She's Twilight's' sister-in-law when she married with Shining Armor. They live up north in the Crystal Empire. There you have crystal ponies. They're not made of crystals, but they look a lot like them." The leaders were amazed by this world. There were ponies that could talk in their language, they have magic, they can control the magic and their leaders are probably gods? Oh heck yes this is interesting indeed. With that Obama got off his chair and walked towards us.
It took him a minute to get to me, because you need to walk to the exit (which is about across the room) then he had to go through some corridors and through the entrance to the stage Pinkie and I were on.
"Quentin" said Obama, who was standing next to us. "You're going to Equestria and establish a good relationship with our world and Equuis." He said in a serious tone.
"How? Is there a special rocket or something?" I said confused.
"No. The Foundation has discovered an SCP which can get you to any world you want in any galaxy. In a neighbouring galaxy, we've discovered the planet with one of our telescopes. Because we cant make advanced space ships like the ones in Halo which can travel there within hours, we're going to use this SCP to get there." Halo is a very popular thing here.
"So you're asking me to go there and establish relationships with not only Equestria, but the whole planet?"
"That's correct. But you're not alone on this mission. The Foundation has selected 19 people from different MTF units. They are the best of the best and know the in and outs of their job they're specialized in. And you are going to be their leader."
"wait what?" I said very surprised. " you want me to lead a squad of 19 full grown men? I'm to young! They never going to take this serious!" Really, I didn't like this at all.
"But you know Pinkie and their culture better then any of us because we found notes on your research of Equestria through Pinkie. If we only send people in with no understanding of that world, they probably shoot first and then ask questions. And even if they have strict orders not to shoot, there is a big possibility that they will shoot them if they turn out to be hostile in the slightest. It could be a spark of war if they are very powerful."
I thought about this. Going to another world full of talking colorful ponies who have the power to kill you with a simple spell.
"I can't decline, can I?" I said, hoping that I wouldn't have to go there.
"Nope. You're selected as the diplomat. We're also are giving you our latest arsenal in weapons and vehicles. If anything goes wrong, you have the proper needs to protect yourself and your squad. You could even protect Equestria from an alien invasion or something."
I took a deep breath, thinking. I had no way of refusing. It suddenly felt like it was my duty to do this. that I must do this.
"When am I leaving?" with a determined voice.
"Around 11:00 PM or 23:00 for you."
"Plenty of time to prep" I said hoping to say my goodbyes.
"Not so fast, you have to get to the site first. You'll get a quick training on how to use of the weapons and vehicles, a quick brief on what your squads's priorities are and then you're ready to go to Equestria." Obama said.
"Well what am I doing here then? I have get ready."
So before we jump in, here's a quick brief on how the arsenal looks like. Someone said that there's stuff out of place, but I'm a massive fan of Halo so they're staying in the story. Anyways, I'm going to separate the arsenal into 3 types: Armor, Weapons and vehicles.
That said, let's begin with vehicles
First we have the M12 FAV 'Warthog' The M12 FAV Warthog is the UNSC's primary ground vehicle, used for its scouting and reconnaissance capacity, or as an integral part of a mechanized infantry unit; the M12 has been a part of the UNSC's armored vehicle fleet for fifty years, and is the most recognizable vehicle in their arsenal. It is a highly mobile, all-wheel-drive, all-wheel-steering, ICE-powered (Internal combustion engine) vehicle equipped with a continuously-variable transmission.
M808B "Scorpion" MBT The Scorpion may not be the most powerful or the fastest of the UNSC's fleet of main battle tanks, but for the most part, it represents the best possible balance between mobility and firepower. Indeed the vehicle's prominence among the UNSC armed forces is due to its low production cost, transport ability, and overall firepower. Ceramic-Titanium armoring makes it almost invulnerable to small-arms fire and easily shrugs off normal ballistic and plasma weapons, while anti-mine software and electronics provide additional protection. The Scorpion has a range of 750 kilometers and utilizes a four-track design, each mounted on an independent, computer-controlled suspension system, which allow for deft maneuvering around large debris and other battlefield obstacles. The tank also features a small crew size, one operator and one machine gunner, so long as they are equipped with Neural Interfaces; if they are not then an additional gunner is required. While important material and VIPs can be crammed into the main cabin, up to four soldiers can safely be transported on the tread pods, though the use of these "jumpseats" is normally reserved for emergencies.
M850 "Grizzly" Main Battle Tank The Grizzly is protected by thick armor plating which allows it to survive even the fiercest attacks and features dual M310 120mm Smooth-Bore High-Velocity Cannons mounted in its turret. These cannons can easily punch a hole through almost any Covenant vehicle and fire S1 canister shells to decimate infantry formations. A co-axially mounted M247T Medium Machine Gun gives it additional firepower. Smoke grenades were mounted near the turret.
Sparrowhawk First introduced in 2531, the Hawk is a formidable air-to-ground anti-tank aircraft. It is used by the UNSC in a ground support and anti-armor role to hunt tanks and support ground advances. Developed during the early years of the Human-Covenant war, it first saw action on the planet Harvest during the end months of the Harvest Campaign. Although the Sparrowhawk was in wide production during the first decade of the war, the general cost of repairing and replacing it, as well as problems with its ducted fan propulsion system, limited the craft's deployment after 2550.
AV-14 "Hornet" Attack VTOL The AV-14 is a vertical take off and landing aircraft (VTOL) that has been in service since at least 2424 and has played a role in multiple campaigns starting with Operation: TREBUCHET. IIt serves as the UNSC's Assault, Search, Reconnaissance, and Close Air Support Aircraft. The Hornet is an atmospheric only craft and as such cannot be deployed by orbital vessels unless a ship rated for atmospheric entry can deliver it to the battlefield. It is easier for the Hornet to be deployed from an air base located on the surface than from a ship.
UH-144 Falcon
The UH-144 Falcon is a versatile, tilt-and transverse-rotor, multi-purpose utility helicopter. Two Falcons can transport a fully-equipped fireteam faster than any other previous system, and provide overwhelming fire support in most weather conditions. In the campaign, the aircraft's crew consists of one pilot, two crewmen who may serve as door gunners, and three passengers. There are two versions of the Falcon, differed only by their armament: both have a chin-mounted auto-cannon, but the UH-144A has two side-mounted grenade launchers, while the UH-144S instead has two side-mounted machine guns. It should be noted that in the military system of aircraft designation, the letter "U" stands for utility, and the letter "H" stands for helicopter. This would make the Falcon the Utility Helicopter Model 144.
Dropship 77 Heavy-Troop Carrier/Infantry The D77H-TCI is a fleet-wide upgrade to the UNSC's Pelican dropships, used in active service for more than fifty years. First seen deployed in November, 2552, the D77H-TCI Pelican is the primary tactical support aircraft of the UNSC. Like its previous model, the D77H-TCI Pelican serves as a multi-role purpose aircraft. The dropship is fully capable of atmospheric and\or limited spaceflight and can land almost anywhere without difficulty making it the primary troop transport of the UNSC.
These are the vehicles that are in the rest of the story. Next up are the weapons.
