> My Little Pony: Minecraftian > by SamMaherGamer > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Pre-prologue: Knowledge > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: The current chapter is a short-long description of how Minecraftia works, as well as how the 'player' works. If you wish to skip this chapter, please note that it is not advised to do so. Thankyou... In the world of Minecraftia, not everything is cubed. It is very much like your world and mine, and only contains cubes if a being had chosen to create them, or upon a complete fluke in the cycle of nature. However, the sun and the moon are cubes. Not two dimensional looking squares, but actual rotating cubes... That does bring some questions on the player's world, and how gravity would work if it was cubed. The answer? Simple. Gravity turns as if the core was spherical. This allows a weird turnout for gravity near the edges and corners of this world. It would feel as if the ground had simply tilted to one side. The zone where the gravity feels like this is called by most inhabitants of Minecraftia: the Cube Conflict, because the cube world conflicts with the spherical core. Speaking of the core; no one knows what lies inside. The reason being that the core is surrounded by a mix of obsidian and bedrock. For all that the inhabitants know, the whole thing could be made of bedrock. The sun and the moon are at the completely opposite position of each other every hour of the day. They are the exact same size, unlike Minecraftia, in which is about one hundred times bigger, and they both actually revolve around said planet. The world of Minecraftia being non-cuboid means that gathering materials are done as if they were in the real world. Placing things like cobblestone and wooden planks is easy to do, and they will form exactly how the 'player' imagined it. The inventory system gets a bit mathematical, but I'm going to try to make it simple... Stuff sorts into stacks of sixty four, but the 'sixty four' part means a density of sixty four. Not sixty four blocks, as blocks are not formed in this world. For those who don't know; one unit of density, is [mass / weight = density]. When a player uses the words 'block' or 'pixel', they are actually meant as a bluntly accurate unit of measurement. A block is a metre*metre*metre cube, and a pixel is one sixteenth of that cube. A 'block' can be used as both a two dimensional, as well as a three dimensional measurement. As so can a 'pixel'. A 'stack', is a measurement of sixty four blocks in a grouping... The 'player' can hold two stacks in its inventory by itself. However, it requires some form of container to hold everything inside of to be granted a large inventory space. The player's crafting works differently too: crafting is done in exact quantities, and without a 4x or 9x crafting GUI. Instead, the player will just use the magics from itself or its crafting table. The same goes with enchanting. Larger tasks require the crafting table, yet smaller thing can be done by hand. Where crafting requires a crafting GUI, smelting just requires a good source of heat(eg. Lava, fire, furnace, etc.). Smelting is done almost instantly, and will work with ores and such. As with the crafting, the smelting seems to work with magic too; pulling it from the body of the player. The same magics apply to almost all GUI's and such. This enables the player to craft anything. That is, anything the player has the knowledge to craft. The player would therefor be able to craft even the most useless items, such as small, golden statues or large, wooden manikins. This same rule of crafting would also apply to the enchanting system: the enchantments are limitless, as long as the player has the experience to spare. Of course, the player must still have bookshelves surrounding the enchantment table for it to work greatly... The player also holds the ability to pull any item that it is touching into its inventory or hands at any time. Pulling an item into its inventory will transform it into a form of 'storage' energy. Chests and other means of storage appear to act the same way. That and player has no lives. Not one. Once killed, it is game over. Everything that the player touches, is filled with its magic. For example: an enderpearl itself can be smashed, but won't do anything. However, if the player touches it first, the enderpearl will sync to the player's magic, and teleport the player to its position upon being smashed. Same thing goes for gold. Once touched by a player, it gains its ability of speed. Water will duplicate when in a certain position, because of the worlds' passive magics, and the liquids I the world always flow from a form of 'source' block. It is said that the player's magic is infinite. It is, in a way. It is infinite in quantity, but not quality. It has many uses, but not really too many, yet can be used for hours and the player will not break a sweat. Some say that the player's magic comes from its soul, and is the magic of creation. The being itself, is associated with creation. as it will only mine and create. The player will create to its limits and beyond, just because it can... I hope I have quenched your thirst for knowledge in this world of Minecraftia. If I haven't answered your question, please leave it in the comments and I will try to get to you! Thx, SamMaher~ > Prologue: Taking A Look At The Scenery... BOOM! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- There once was a peaceful world of cubes. It's beauty, untouched and untold. The blockiness would bring a sense of simplicity, and ease ones achy head. It's mountains bore a beauty that could not be reformed in words, and the oceans barely rippled, not a wave at all could be found. The sun bore all of its light, to reveal the world at hand. And the moon would try to help the sun, reflecting all of its brightness onto the planet below. There lay a beautiful, little cottage sitting on the riverside's edge. The torchlight from within giving the outside walls a dim glow. The windows were made of a rustically crude glass, and lined with a dark, green paint. The old door looked as if it used to be the bark of an old spruce tree, and the roof was made up of thatched straw, and was shaped like a cone. Out to the back of the house was a beautiful looking field of wheat, glowing golden in the torchlight of the household. Inside lay a small fire in the middle of the room. Surrounding it was a polished cobblestone floor, and then surrounding that was a light, grey carpet. To the side of the room lay a lone bed, the green-striped blue sheets strewn to the end of the bed. Towards the back of the house was a couple of small rooms. One, namely the kitchen, was lined with polish oak bench tops, and cupboards up above. A chest lay to the side of the room, housing a delicious assortment of meats and greens. The room also contained a few furnaces replacing a portion of the bench tops towards the back. A makeshift sink, namely a cauldron, lay full of water off to the other side of the room. In the other room, the floor was of a finely polished ceramic tile. A crude toilet that looked as if it were made completely of metal, sat in the corner of the room accompanied by a small sink mounted on the wall next to it. In another corner was a shower. The shower head also looked quite crude and rustic, joined by two slightly rusted shower tap handles. A two-by-two pool of water sat in the last corner, allowing the water it held to be duplicated. How? Magic... The pool of water contained a cooling system woven into the ground. The water from the pool was taken to the river, then pulled back. It also ensured that fresh water be available whenever possible. The house was magnificent, and its silhouette could be seen just in front of the setting sun... "Fuck!" A shouting could be heard in the distance... > Chapter One: Got Wood? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Fuck!" I said, stepping backwards from the horror before me; a creeper had just blown up the front door to my cottage, again... At least I wasn't harmed, as I had run backwards as soon as I had seen the blasted thing. I had done a great amount of that since I had found myself in this land, and I guess it pays off at times. That, and running. Replacing my old, now-charred tree bark door with a much nicer refined one, I stepped back. "Okay, Now you need to replace the walls. And Hell no am I going back out to cut trees at night though," I said. And so, I instead replaced the wall with cobblestone. "Meh... It'll do." Reason being that I replaced the wall with cobblestone and not wood, is not because I have no wood. I have plenty of wood. However, those are my 'crafting' planks. They are perfect for making sticks, and seem to have just the right flexibility and strength. Therefor, I refuse to use them for anything else. I had already lost the spot in which I chopped the darn tree down, and I was not willing to lose myself trying. I don't even have hold of a sapling that will grow anything like it. I might at least write inside of my journal, since I guess it is starting to turn nighttime. Walking over to my chair in the corner of the room, I sat in front of the fire and placed a torch beside me, so that I may be able to see the pages of the book that lay in my lap. It was my favourite way of sitting when I wrote. I didn't even need to waste wood on a desk! Day 29, It is starting to get colder these days, and the monsters are increasing in their numbers. I have still yet to find out who I am. As I had written before, I don't know who I am, but for some reason, I know of many concepts I shouldn't, like alcohol. I am still trying to discover how to even create that yet, let alone experiment with it. What I do know, from my memories, is that alcohol is extremely flammable. It is for that reason I believe that it is not formed by heat, but by some form of fermentation, alike cheese. Speaking of cheese, I was experimenting with some different flavours of cheese in my kitchen. I had managed to make what I call 'sweet cheese'. It is a creamy cheese, mixed with sweet sugars. It tastes quite delectable and may be great on toast. As a matter of fact, my food problems are no more! I have now accomplished what I thought was impossible: I have managed to grow more wheat than I know what to do with! I have made flours and pastries with it, breads and puddings, and even a whole bunch of damper, yet that only wasted about half of it! On a much nicer note: I have found Pixel a new friend! Pixel is my wolf from one of my first days here, and he seemed a bit... Lonely recently. So, I went and found him a mate! I named her Cuboid, for what reason? Don't ask me! It's just one of those things that comes to me. Just like the idea of alcohol and other things just 'came to me'. I try not to think about it anymore, as it just seems to unsettle me... Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever been able to describe my appearance until now. I was finally able to look into some form of proper mirror, AKA: a newly made mirror for my bathroom, and not just into some rippled, flowing river. Anyway: I have slight long hair of a dark brownish colour, and a slight beard of the same hue. My eyes are of a blueish colour and I have a slightly predominant, squared jaw. I have a tallish build, and large legs for walking great distances. My arms are also quite muscular. Probably because I'm swinging my pickaxe around all day. My hands though, they are freaking huge! I think it might be the crafting, but I'm not sure. They've got to be as large as a small slime each! Anyway, I guess I'm kind of getting off topic here. So: I wear iron armour around the outside world, but I hang it up on the armour stand by the door once inside. But my most treasured object is a glistening, cyan, diamond sword. I dare not carry it around casually. I only bring it from its pedestal when I am going to The Nether. The fiery hell dimension, is what I hear most call it. By 'most', I mean the local endermen. Yes, they can talk. They are one of the only other living creatures in this world that I have heard speaking. I still killed them of course, but first I was inclined to listen in to their conversation. Anyhow, the nether is where I need to go next: I need to collect some lava to heat my furnaces.. You may be wondering how I had gotten obsidian without any form of diamond mining tool. The answer: I didn't. I didn't really obtain obsidian itself, but from past experience, I knew that water and lava equalled obsidian. And so, I created a small portal frame of cobblestone, then filled it with lava. Afterwards, I filled it with water. Then I removed the cobblestone. What was left behind was an obsidian frame, about four blocks wide, and five blocks high... Easy! -END- Checking the pages for any viewable mistakes, I got up from my chair and bent backwards, electing a few pops from my spine. I feel like I had been lying on a cave's cold, hard floor. Falling into a slouch, I slowly trudged towards the bed to the side of my cottage, and began to pull my clothes off. Sluggishly, I pulled off my backpack before I took my shirt off. Looking towards my bed, I noticed that Pixel was sleeping atop of it. "Damn it Pixel. You frustrate me in so many ways...." I whispered, before trying to sink into the bed sheets without disturbing the sleeping wolf. Happy with my somewhat tiring achievement, I closed my eyes and fell into a deep, deep slumber... Waking up, the first thing I noticed was that Pixel was no longer sitting next to me on the bed. "Must've gone hunting," I mumbled, before pulling the soiled sheets off of my body. Dumping them at the feet of the bed again, I walked over to the corner of the room and pulled my dirty, ragged clothes from it. "Hm... I guess I should wash these tonight," I murmured to myself, before putting them on and walking to my kitchen. The first thing I noticed about the kitchen was that there were paw prints all over the tiling. Pixel or Cuboid must've come by here, and I'm betting they raided my storage chest for food... As I walked over to the chest, I saw that it was half open. Yep... Checking the chest, I found that they had taken some of my raw pork chops. Sighing, I pulled out some bread and jam, and gently closed the lid. Walking to the crafting table in the corner of the room, I pulled the loaf of bread into several slices and brought them to the bench. I then 'summoned' a butter knife from a small pocket in my bag, where all of my cutlery is kept for when I travel. Lifting the lid off of the jar of jam, I spread it all over a couple of slices of bread, and then placed a fresh slice of bread over each. There... Picking one of the newly made sandwiches, I sniffed at its contents in bliss. In all honesty, I just make jam out of what I can get my hands on. I know berries can be poisonous, and so I test them first, but I just make my jams out of random collections of berries. I sometimes even mash up the rare apple from a tree and put it inside of my jam too! However, I never end up recognising the berries that I collect in the first place... After breakfast, I was feeling pretty confident of myself. I should go and cut some trees down, and then I might be able to go to the nether again. Sounds like a plan. Sensing that there was no form of felling equipment in my backpack, I went and strode over to my supply chest at the end of my bed. Opening it, I put everything on my inventory into the chest. Afterwards, I pulled out all of the essentials for the day: An iron sword, an iron knife, a clay bowl, a couple of empty jars, a couple of loaves of bread, a stack of cobblestone, a half stack of torches, some coal, some spare iron, an iron pickaxe, and iron axe, an iron shovel, a couple of ender pearls, a bucket of water and a couple of empty buckets. All of the said items filled the backpack to about half of its full capacity, all because the items were turned to a magical, Minecraftian energy before they were pulled into the storage of the backpack. Zipping up the pack and putting it onto my back, I walked towards the door and pulled my diamond sword from the rack nearby the doorway. Stepping outside, I put my fingers into my mouth and let out an almost musical whistle. Listening closely, I could hear multiple patting noises on the ground before I saw them. Pixel and Cuboid strode towards me and sat by my feet. "Great!" I said, before strolling towards the nearby forest, my wolves in tow. My wolves were very loyal. By very, I mean absolutely. If a zombie had tried to attack me, my wolves would have attacked it first. I loved them for that and more. Pixel was my first wolf, and he was a male one too, always too eager for his own good. His coat was a dark grey and kind of poofy and raggedy. His tail sported a light tip on the end and his eyes just listed for adventure. Cuboid, on the other hand, was a female. She just liked hanging around and having a bit of fun from time to time. She had a browny coat that glistened in the sunshine, and had a cute way of sleeping with her feet up in the air. Before long, we had reached the forest I was looking for. Almost instantly, I began holding my ear to each tree and knocked its bark, looking for a good tree to make my tool rods from. I also needed a couple of sturdy oak trees so that I could build some more walls for my house. The cobblestone just didn't seem fitting when it was randomly patching up the holes in my home. After several hours of 'tree knocking', I finally found my tool rod tree. It was a stray tropical oak, and it felt perfect for what crafting I had in mind. I had also found a very exceptional patch of oak trees in which sounded and felt very sturdy and would make a great building material. Summoning my broad-headed axe from my pack, I swung at the trees with all of my might. With several large swings, I felled the first tree. However, there was a large amount of sweat dripping from my temples, and I was hungry for food. It was a very hot day, so I decided to head for a stream I had found nearby this area, and collect several jars of the stuff for later consumption. I also dipped my head under for several seconds in order to cool me down and was the sweat from my head. Pulling my head from the water, I wiped the excess liquid from it and felt the cooling breeze on my face while eating one of my loaves of bread... Heading back to the area, I felled the rest of the trees and decided to head to The Nether early in order to gain some lava, but also to be able to scout the area in hopes of obtaining new materials. Besides, the Nether Portal that I had created is only a couple of hundred blocks from here. I might have even gotten home in time to remove all of those arrows from the roof before it got dark... > Chapter Two: Getting Warmer > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter Two: Getting Warmer Feeling the sun whipping at the back my neck, I pulled the neck of my shirt up in a half-assed attempt to block the large, solar cube's rays from above. I grabbed one of the jars of water in my backpack and started to wolf the cooling substance down, some of it trickling down my neck. Looking down at the wolves below, I saw them panting and they looked rather hot, so I summoned my clay bowl from my inventory and placed it down in front of them. We were in the middles of an opening in the forest, so I wasn't too worried about stopping for a bit. As long as we were in the sun, we had a fair chance of surviving most of the monsters. But some of them, not so much. I poured my last jug of water into the dogs' temporary bowl and sat down on the grass to ponder. We could see the portal from here, so it shouldn't take too long to get there. I still had the last bucket of water, but I should try not to pull it out of my backpack in The Nether. It might instantly evaporate otherwise. The sound of lapping stopped, and I saw that the bowl had been emptied of its water. Wiping the excess water with my sleeve, I banished the bowl back into my inventory for later use. I was close to my wolves, and didn't mind hygiene around them as much as I would with anything else. They were like a brother and sister to me, and that's all I believe I needed. A family... Once I shook myself from the deep thought, we began to stride onwards towards the portal. I began to hear the eerie, reverberating sound that it gave off. It soon began to tower over me as I got close, almost glaring at me. Steeling myself, I spoke to my wolves. Most would call me crazy, but they seemed to listen to me at times. "Listen up: I'm headed to The Nether, but I need you guys to stay here, okay? There's a stream about a hundred blocks that I can see from here. Feel free to go hunting when you feel hungry, okay? Cool. Be right back!" I said to them, before turning and waving back as I walked through the portal... One second I was waving to my wolves. Now, I am on the ground with scorch marks covering my back. The only thing I know, is that something blew me up from behind as soon as I had entered The Nether. Straining to do so, I pushed myself off of the ground and onto my feet again. I was guessing that whatever blew me up wasn't going to quit now, so I summoned my diamond sword and held it in a defensive stance. Sure enough, a ghast was floating right above the portal I had come through. Seeing the ghast's eyes beginning to flare and its cheeks puffing up, I pulled my sword back and got ready to bash the fireball it shot into the next century. That was when I realised; the portal was out... "Crap!" I shouted out loud, before realising that there was a flaming ball of magma hurtling towards me. Turning in hesitation, I smashed the fireball with my sword. Magical essence quickly flew up my arm and to the fireball, in which had now ricocheted off of the sword as was hurtling back towards the ghast at full speed. As the ghast screamed its trademark scream in terror, the fireball flew into its side, and straight out of the other. The ghast's now limp body stopped floating around and began to fall into the large, fiery pits below. "... Fuuuuuccckkk!!! What the hell!?" I screamed, "Why? Why the fuck!?" I began to calm down. At least I was here for now. I could go and scout like I had wanted... Sensing the sudden urge to throw up, I began to walk over to the edge of a worn netherack bridge. I tried to talk to myself and try to calm myself down, but no words came out of my mouth. My brow was dripping with sweat, and I only had one bucket of water. In which, by the way, could not be brought to my mouth without evaporating instantly first. I was, quite literally, fucked... It felt like hours since I got stuck here yet I knew it was only a few minutes. I sure wish I had some enderman skin right now. Believe it or not, the enderman's leathery hide was icy to the touch. It had a cooling property about it, and would be very useful in my current situation. Unfortunately, all of my enderman hide I had collected was in the chest by my bed. Maybe I should just go exploring, and hope this was just one big nightmare... I have been mining for hours now, and I have found the most extraordinary things in that time. During then, I had eaten my last loaf of bread, and two of the eight apples that dropped from the trees when I went tree felling earlier. But, I was even able to find a new ore. There was a lapis-blue metal, in which I have decided to call, 'cobalt'. I have about half a stack of it now, as well as a close stack of gold! Who knew gold was so common in the nether? However, the thought of water riddled my mind. With each passing second, all I could think about is the cold, quenching fluid. The bucket of water crossed my mind once again. "No. It won't work," I said to myself, trying to get the point across to my brain. However, my words just weren't enough, and I instantly summoned the bucket of water from my inventory and into my hand. But when I looked inside, all I could see was a puff of steam. "Nooooo!" I shouted, "Why?" Thinking of a way back, I thought of something. What if I were to look through the gravel beaches of The Nether. Surely, there would be a piece of flint somewhere there. Then, all I needed to do was strike it against one of my pieces of scrap iron I brought with me and poof: Nether Portal up! Trudging towards the nearest gravel beach, I paused. I swear I heard something, but it must be one of the idle zombie pigmen strolling by. "Oh, well..." I spoke to no one in particular. But then, the most horrific thing happened: I turned around and saw him. The demonic god of Minecraftia, the devil behind this very hellhole named The Nether, the death bringer of all beings and I was face to face with him... Herobrine. Too scared to think properly, I steeled myself and did what every skilled being would do in this sort of situation: run. I ran, screaming my head off all of the way back to the still-idle portal. Running up to the portal, I didn't expect to see him standing right inside of the obsidian frame. Frozen in place, I saw him light up the portal again. Without thinking, I ran at the portal, only to be stopped by some form of invisible forcefield. I ran around the portal, but couldn't find any way to get in. When I looked at Herobrine, I saw him playing around with the Nether Portal. It kept changing colours and began to look a bit staticky, but anywhere was better than here. Fortunately, I had brought a couple of ender pearls over here with me. Summoning one to my hand, I threw it at the portal with all of my might. Of course, Herobrine saw the orb fly past his head and straight into the portal. He turned, and looked straight at me, with his completely emotionless face and white, void eyes. That was the last thing I saw before being whisked away by that ender pearl... Now, don't get me wrong: I love night skies. Especially this one. But when you see that the moon is actually spherical, you start to freak out just a little bit. Then again, I believe I am falling at one million chunks an hour, so the moon is of little worry to me right now. I may seem very calm and collective about this, but right now, I am screaming at the top of my lungs. That, and wishing that I had stayed in The Nether. Even if Herobrine was there too. I was beginning to feel a burning sensation, then looked down at my feet. Sure enough, my feet were on fire... "Fuuuuuu!" > Chapter Three: Mushy Apples > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Ah, hello readers! When we left off, I was falling to my doom, and it has taken so long, that I have learnt how to break the fourth wall!" I shouted to myself. It has been a long time, so of course I started to go a bit loco. Yeah, I guess it has only been a minute or two, but it feels like forever... I should be thinking about how to get out of here. Especially since my feet are still burning... "Fuck!" Yeah, I shouldn't have tried to remember that. I do still have an ender pearl, and that may do the trick. I guess I could give it a go. "Here goes nothing," I say as I throw the ender pearl down with all of my force. Oh, great. Now it's burning. I wonder how long it will take until it breaks the sound barrier... "BOOM!" ... Spoke too soon... Wait, was that even possible? Meh. I still have to make sure I can still stand once I get down there. Maybe I can start to regain health while I'm up here. "Maybe..." I pondered, summoning one of he remaining apples from my inventory and pulling it towards my mouth... Only to find myself in a new location, with two broken legs and a now bruised apple on the ground. Picking the mistreated fruit back up again, I took a mushy bite from it, before trying to stand. I wasn't going to waste my only food source right away. I needed shelter, and a place to rest first before i tried to fix my legs, and I needed it soon. Gasping at the sight in front of me, I turned and began to run to the girls' houses. I knew I couldn't get them all myself, so I took my new wings to an advantage, and went to see the fastest one first: Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash was likely sleeping at this time of night, so she opened the door and stepped, ever so quietly, into Rainbow's house. She stepped through the lounge and to Rainbow Dash's bedroom. Pondering for a moment, Twilight's face turned from confusion to realisation. Picking up a stray, cyan feather from the floor by the bed, she slowly tickled Rainbow's snout with it, causing the cyan mare to sneeze all of a sudden, then jump up at the sudden intruder inside if her home. "Huh? What? Whoever you are, you are messing with no other than The Great Rainbow Dash! Get ready to be sorry, intruder!" "What? Rainbow, it's me, Twilight!" The lavender unicorn said with worry. "Wait, what? What are you doing here at this time of night?" Rainbow Dash asked, glancing at the clock by her night stand. "Something weird seemed to crash near Sweet Apple Acres! We have to find out what it is!" "Can't we find out in the morning? It's like two-am in the morning." No it can't wait! I have a feeling it's important," Twilight spoke, pulling Rainbow Dash towards the door... "Has anypony seen Pinkie Pie?" Twilight asked from the front of the pack. "Here!" Came a high-pitched voice from inside of a stray tree trunk. "Pinkie?" Asked Rarity, "Is that you, darling?" "Yeah!" Pinkie said, before rolling out of the tree trunk and up onto the grass in front of them, "What's up?" "Twilight saw some sort of meteor when she was looking through her telescope earlier!" Rainbow explained. "Okay, that must be why I felt an eye flutter, then knee ache then tail shake before!" The ecstatic pink mare blurted. "Pinkie sense?" Fluttershy assumed. "Yeppers! That's why I was hiding in that log!" Pinkie said. "Why were you here in the first place? What were you up to?" Twilight inquired. "Oh, that's easy, silly! I was on my way to Applejack's to find out what the big 'doozy' was! And its right over that way!" She said, throwing her hoof to the west. "Okay. Now the only pony missing is Applejack. We should go and find her, then find out what Pinkie's doozy was. It still happening, Pinkie?" She asked. "Yep!" Pinkie said, almost jumping with curiosity. "Good. Girls, lets to and fetch Applejack!" Twilight ordered. My legs were healing ever so slightly, but I was sure going to die of hunger before the process was completed. Looking around, I could see that I was on some form of farm. There were apple trees as far as the eye can see, and a gravel road seemed to lead to somewhere over a hill. At least I could see the moon tonight. It is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, round and spherical. I then realised that I didn't know where I was, or how I was going to get home. I couldn't walk; even if I had eaten until I got full, I still would have had to have waited a couple of hours for my broken bones and burns to heal. Reaching up to my head, I felt that my hair was slightly singed, and that the bottom of my ragged pants were burnt off, leaving me exposed to the freezing cold of the night. To be honest, it was actually quite a nice sensation, having the icy cold wind blowing over my burnt legs. I stared off to the side and looked for and form of establishment or such. Usually such gravel paths were nearby an NPC village, but not that I could see. All that was in view was a three hundred and sixty degrees view of an orchard of apple trees... Apple trees? The hell am I doing down here? Laying myself onto my belly, I dragged myself along the fresh grass and towards an apple tree. Strangely, the apples were actually visible on the tree and looked as if they could be hand picked, but unfortunately, I couldn't stand, and was stuck here on the ground. Pulling my shovel from my inventory, I pulled myself up into a planking position and batted an apple down from the tree. Banishing the shovel to my inventory, I grabbed the apple and took a bite: it was the most amazing and tasty thing I have ever eaten in my whole entire life! I loved it so much, that I re-summoned the shovel and whacked down another one. Fuck, these were tasty! "So, Twilight," started Applejack, "what do you thing the meteorite looks like? Will it have aliens on it?" "Aliens are proved scientifically impossible. There is no harmony magic in space, therefor there is no life in space," Twilight replied. They had just left Applejack's family household, and were on their way to the meteorite landing site. Pinkie was at the head of the pack, strutting ahead with a spring in her step, almost literally. Followed by Twilight and Applejack, then Fluttershy, Rarity and lastly, Rainbow Dash. Pinkie kept blabbering on about the 'doozy', and about how close it was, and so all of the currently spooked mares steeled themselves to meet any little, green ponies who would end up wanting to probe them. Reaching my shovel up to the tree for a third juicy, red apple, I heard a twig snap nearby. I had forgotten that mobs could spawn at night, and was enjoying myself too much to even notice. Banishing my shovel once again, I quickly tried to drag myself behind a tree in hopes of not being spotted... The first thing I heard was voices. They must be a pack of endermen. That's okay then; but if I look them in the eyes, I'm screwed. Turning towards the suspected group of monsters, I summoned my pickaxe in one hand and my sword in the other. The sword of diamond to be precise... But upon seeing the monsters, I realised that they weren't really monsters at all... Horses? > Chapter Four: I Escaped Herobrine, Fool! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight Sparkle and her gang slowly crept up towards a small clearing in Applejack's orchard. Pinkie Pie had stated that the 'doozy' was here, but all of the group were too scared to go in. Something was in there, and it was moving... "I thought you said that there was no such things as aliens, Twi," whispered Applejack. "And there isn't," Twilight replied, "It's probably just an animal in one of the trees," "But what if it is an alien..." Rainbow Dash asked, trying to make sure nothing was going to hurt her friends. "It isn't. Let's please just stop talking about it, okay?" The lavender mare requested, pulling her eyes to the front and sneaking onwards, only to find that they were standing right in the middle of the clearing. They must have walked right in while they were whispering to each other! "Um... girls?" Fluttershy whimpered... Horses? Well, I guess those apples must've been rotten or something. It's funny, really; there's six of the small, colourful equines. Each had some form of tattoo on its butt, and really large eyes. One was a bright, pink one, with a darker, pink, poofy tail and hair. Hair? I guess it's a 'mane' when referring to horses. There was also an orange coated one, with a blonde mane and tail. It stood by the side of a yellow coated one that seemed to be hiding behind its pink, flowing mane. A cyan one was flying, and seemed to have a pair of wings on its sides. A pegasus? What that what you called a winged horse? Anyways; there were two more: a white coated one with a violet mane, and there was a lavender coated one with a violet mane and tail, both of which were striped with pink. Both of these two ponies had a horn atop their heads. Does that make them unicorns? I couldn't help but notice that the lavender one also sported a pair of wings. What does that mean? Oh well... "Um... Girls?" The yellow pony spoke, before they all turned towards me and stared. The main thing I should be worrying about now, is that the yellow horse just talked, but I can't shake the fact that I'm forgetting something here... I tried to stand up and take a defensive stance, but then my legs crumpled and I fell on my face. So that's what I was forgetting. I really must look fucking stupid right now... All of a sudden, the yellow one was right next to me and poking at my back. I waved my pickaxe at it, but it was a half-assed attempt, and my swing hit absolutely nothing. Whatever the hell I did to my legs when I stood up, must've drained some of my energy or something. Great. "What are you?" I asked, before the yellow one backed away, curled up, and began whimpering. "We should be asking what you are!" The orange one said with a southern twang. "Why?" I spoke, trying to keep my best poker face on. "Well, er. You're trespassing!" She said, assuming she was a she, "And you stole some of my apples!" "And I just escaped from Herobrine, fool! Aww yeah!" I yelled, losing hold of my poker face and instead just bearing a huge grin, "I just escaped a demonic god! I need supplements," "Cool. Now tell us what you are," the purple one said, stepping into view. "I will after you do," I stated, still smiling. Although it was starting to get old, and the edges of my lips were quivering. Still, I just wanted to troll. Trolling is one of a Minecraftian's instincts, and I will uphold it 'till I die! "Okay then," the purple horse murmured, before putting on a loud voice, "We are ponies, and protectors of Equestria. This is Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and I, Twilight Sparkle. Together, we powered the Elements of Harmony, and saved Equestria from multiple malicious ponies!" She said, before the six of them took a final stance as if they had rehearsed the whole thing. "Now for you," she stated. "Okay, okay. I am a player from Minecraftia," I said to the ground, "I was running away from an evil god called Herobrine, before I came through his weird portal. I ended up falling, and now I'm here. I create stuff, kill stuff and break stuff..." Silence hung there for several seconds before the white-coated pony, or Rarity if you will, spoke up. "Y-You killed things? Just what exactly?" She spoke, eyes wide in horror. I should have known that a land of pretty technicolor ponies with horns and wings would have been a pretty peaceful place... "By killing things, I mean ridding the land of evil monsters!" I said in my best sarcasm/enthusiasm voice I could conjure. It's true that I fought monsters, yet I didn't kill animals. They would have been too cute... Come to think of it, these 'ponies' are like those animals too... Fuck. I think I can see how this will affect me... "Evil?" Twilight asked, "what evil do you mean?" "Lady, you have no idea. I fight skeletons, zombies, large spiders and creepers. I also fight other things, but those are the main four." I state in a rather manly voice. "What are creepers?" The yellow one I believed to be Fluttershy, whispered in such a low voice that it took me five seconds to translate the message from sound to brainwaves. "They are an armless body with four legs. They are green and have skin like sandpaper. They constantly frown, and don't have thoughts or emotions. They only do one thing: kill. They will stalk down the victim then self-destruct, blowing up itself, and the victim," I informed them. I'm hoping that they understand, otherwise I'm a dead man... "I understand," Twilight spoke slightly grimly, looking up at the sky, "It's almost midnight, so we'd better head home, girls," she spoke. "Do you have a place to sleep?" Whispered the timid, little pegasus to me. "No, not at the moment. I guess I could get something done about that soon though." "Well, you're welcome to stay with me," she murmured, "I always welcome stray animals. I'm not calling you an animal though!" She squeaked. "That would be very nice, Fluttershy," I replied. She just smiled and led the way. I limped behind her, the apples having started their process. Now they weren't broken anymore! The moon was three-quarters of the way through the sky when we got to her house. The first thing I noticed about the cozy, little cottage, is that the roof was made from organic plant matter. Smart, I guess. The sun would allow the plants to grow, and since the plants were on the roof, it saved space. "Here we are," Fluttershy softly spoke as we walked up the bridge leading to her house. I could see that she was an animal lover, noticing that there were birdhouses everywhere. "Nice place," I replied. Feeling I needed to comment the mare on her taste. "Thankyou, Mr... Um?" She said, slightly confused. "There's no need to call me by a formal title, Fluttershy. Just call me 'player,'" "Um, sorry." She apologised. I must admit, it is pretty darn cute when she thinks she messed up or something. "That's okay, no need to apologise," I replied. "Um, okay. Come inside, that is, if you want to..." She said timidly. "Thank you, Fluttershy," if I had a dollar for every time I said 'than you,' I'd probably be a millionaire! "You can take my bed if you want, and I can sleep on the couch," she stated. "No, I couldn't do that. Not in somebody else's home," I informed, "I'll take the couch. You can stay in your own bed," "Are you sure? I mean, I could-" "Yes, Fluttershy, I am sure," I reminded her, taking my shoes off and clambering into the couch. "You don't need anything?" Fluttershy asked. "No, I'm fine, thanks," I replied. "Okay then. I'm going up to bed. I'll see you in the morning, Player," she said "See you then," "Goodnight," "Night," I replied. I am feeling rather comfortable around these ponies already, in which disturbs me in a way. However, I am not going to want to find a way back to my old world, unless it involves bypassing The Nether. Urgh, that name makes me shiver now. Anyways, I am hoping that life gets better again from this point on, and that I can befriend these ponies without causing a riot... Hmm... > Chapter Five: Y U No Cutlery! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Waking up, I heard a clattering in the kitchen. It must be Pixel and Cuboid grabbing a make-do breakfast from my food storage. Smiling, eyes still groggy, I got up and realised that this wasn't my home. Carefully, I picked up my backpack, and tip-toed out of the room and into the next... My smile dropped... Fluttershy was in the kitchen, supposedly making breakfast. I was still in this other world, where ponies conquered. Maybe I would be able to get back somehow. Some of these ponies had horns on their heads, so does that mean that they can do magic? Will that get me home? Sighing, I stretched my back, electing a few pops from my spine, and startling Fluttershy. She whipped around, horror in her eyes, until she saw that it was me. "Why are you so scared of things?" I asked. I was becoming very curious of this world, just like I was of my old one; Always going and inventing things. "I-Um... I guess it's just in my personality?" She said, hoping that her answer was enough. I guess I could understand that... Just like I'm a troll. Which reminds me: I wonder if they do griefing in this world. Just as Fluttershy lifted the saucepan she was using off of the stovetop, a rapid knocking on the door was heard. Instantly, Fluttershy spoke, "I've got it," as she stepped towards the door. I listened in to who it was, trying to make out the conversation: "Hey, Fluttershy! Is the alien here? Twilight made me Pinkie-promise to not talk to the alien last night in case I ended up scaring it! I'm not that scary, am I?" Said the mystery voice. "No, Pinkie, that's quite alright. Come in, make yourself at home," The kind pegasus spoke. Almost instantly, a pink blur sped up to me, and began to talk really fast, in which made me step back in caution, and making my leg hit the leg of a table. "Hello! Are you really an alien? How'd you get here? And where's your spaceship? Ooh! I should throw a big 'alien-landing-party!' It'll be great! I'm actually going to go get started on that right now! Bye!" She said, before racing off in a poof of pink cloud. "Um... Bye?" I said to thin air. Fluttershy just giggled, "You'll get to know her soon enough. She's just a bit... Energetic, at times," "Great..." I said, looking down at the leg that had bashed into the table. The table's legs were made up of woven cane, and some of the threads of cane were sticking out in places. Of course, any normal person would have just been slightly scratched by these, I wasn't a normal person. I was an extremely 'lucky' normal person. The injury was a deep gouge that went about two 'pixels' across my leg. It had now started to bleed, and I lifted it up in hopes that it would not stain any of Fluttershy's furniture. "Oh my," she said, running to another room. I just pulled a remaining apple from my inventory and began to eat it. The gouge already feeling better. Fluttershy came bolting back into the room with a first aid box in her mouth. "Woman, I don't need no bandaids," I said, before taking another bite of my apple. "But you might get infected. Or- or..." She faded, staring at my wound. Of course, it had started to heal the instant I had started eating the apple. Now, all that I had to do was wait. It didn't take too long, about a minute to be exact. "Fluttershy," I waved a hand in front of the yellow mare's face, trying to snap her out of it. She blinked, before shaking her head around and looking up at me. "What?" I asked. "Y-You healed so quickly," "I wouldn't say that I healed faster than others. I mean, if I had eaten a golden apple, then I might heal faster than others, but until then, I guess I was actually rather slow." I said. "How'd you do it," she asked, less fear and more curiosity in her voice. "I ate, then I healed. Can't ponies do that?" I replied "No, that's why we have a hospital in Ponyville," she answered. "Ponyville? Is that what this town is called?" I questioned. It's funny how the town is named. It's just like calling a town: Humanville. It was weird. "Yes," she said, putting the first aid kit away in the bathroom and walking back over to the kitchen, "I made pancakes. Would you like any?" She asked. "If there's enough for me, then sure," I replied, pulling out a chair at the table and sitting down. The chairs were quite long, and had rather short legs. Made for a pony, I guess. Just that moment, Fluttershy came walking into the room holding a tray stacked with steaming pancakes on top. As she set it at the middle of the table, she raced back and fetched a jug of a form of fluid, and a container of butter. She placed them down by the pancakes. "Would you like to take some?" She asked. I nodded, and then grabbed the first couple of pancakes from the pile. Putting them on my plate, Fluttershy came to my side, and put butter and that syrupy liquid on my pancakes. "What is that?" I asked, seeing it run slowly across my pancake. "Oh, did you not want it? I'm so sorry," she apologised. "No, it's quite alright. I like to try new things, but I just wanted to know what it was," I replied, trying to calm the mare down. "Oh, it's maple syrup!" She said. That rings a bell somewhere, but I still have no idea what it could be. I just realised that I didn't have cutlery. I doubt that ponies have cutlery anyway, as they always do things with their mouths. Crap... I'm going to have to craft some with my wood. I don't want her to see it, because it might freak her out again. Under the table, I craft a fork with a sharp edge for cutting. I then pull it out from under the table and started to use it. It was worse that my metal cutlery, but it would do for the day. I wasn't willing to waste that iron on something as silly as cutlery. I'd need it for more important things such as mightier tools and weapons! After finishing our pancakes, Fluttershy told me that we were to go to Twilight's library. As I recall, Twilight was the purple coloured one with both a horn and wings. She was a librarian? Wow. You'd think she'd be a bit more superior than that. Apparently I wasn't to be seen by the locals whilst traveling to Twilight's library, and Fluttershy was a bit uncertain of what to do. We could tunnel underground, but I'd have to know exactly where the library was from underground. We could sneak around, but we still might be spotted. Eventually, Fluttershy had an idea. "What if we blanketed you over in a cart, and I'd pull you there?" She said. "I don't know, are you sure? I mean, wouldn't I be too heavy?" I replied. I weighed in at about seventy kilos, and I wasn't sure if she could pull such a weight. "No, you wouldn't. I've pulled bears that are much heavier than you," she assured, pulling a small cart out from the back of her house. Hopping in, a blanket was draped over me and I felt the cart begin to move... Bears? How does she pull bears? That would weigh so much! Oh well. She is a different species after all. I'd better not argue with a different world, let alone different laws of physics! Listening, I could hear a light chatter as we moved. There were ponies everywhere! Every time I heard a pony right next to me, I cringed. They must be very well associated with Fluttershy to stand so close to her cart as she moved. She did say that she hauled bears places, so were the locals like this when she hauled them? Anyways, I just hope we get there soon... > Chapter Six: Impossible, You Say? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a troll... It's one of my instincts... So, when we had arrived at Twilight's library, I quickly sprinted out of Fluttershy's cart and round the back of the library. To see that it was carved out of a tree surprised me, but didn't shock me completely in any way. It was actually quite easy to create something like this... Opening up a window, in which surprisingly wasn't locked, I snuck inside; The mass array of books in here startled me. I mean, I know that this was a library, but this is ridiculous. The walls were packed with books and papers, all neatly set up as if they'd been organised this morning. The room was round, and had been expertly carved from the inside. There was a set of stairs to my right, that spiralled up the side of the tree as if they had been carved out as well. Looking over at the ponies, I crouched down. They were all greeting Fluttershy, and helping her turn her cart around towards the door. Good; they thought I was still in there. They had just pulled the sheet off, I shouted, "Boo!" Well really, I only said it softly, but still, I got smacked in the head with a thick, floating book. I stared at it with a morbid fascination, ignoring the stares I was getting from everypony. I grabbed at the book, only for it to rise higher in the air, Twilight smirking at me as if I was a kitten playing with a ball of yarn. I noticed this, and reached for it again, twice. On the second grab, I got a hold of the book and started to float up with it. Tough girl huh? I don't think so. Quickly, I banished the book into my inventory. "What did you do?!" She almost screamed. Jeez, I didn't think she was attached to books that much, "Where is it!?" She shouted. All of the ponies surrounded me, except for Fluttershy of course. Again, my inner troll decided to play yet another game. "I banished it to The Nether," I said plainly. "What?!" She raged, "And just what is 'The Nether?'" Calmly, I replied, "It is a dimension full of a fiery stone red as blood. Flaming mounds of it are scattered everywhere, and oceans of lava scatter the ground," My smile was widening. "No no no! That was the journal I was using to write down all of my spells! All of them, gone!" She screamed. God, I'd hate to be around her when her library catches fire. Hm... My inner griefer is tingling. Better not thought, not while she's like this. Re-summoning the book, I pushed it in front of her, her head behind her hooves. Smiling my shit-eating grin, I spoke, "Look! Magic!" "What? The book! How'd it survive?" She said, almost prancing around. Man, this woman is obsessive over her books! "I went and tried to sacrifice myself to the lava gods for it, but they said I could have the book back all the same," She just stopped and stared. "What really happened?" She said, a 'I see what you did there' look on her face. "I put it into my bag,' I said calmly. "No," Rarity spoke, "you made it disappear," Walking to one of Twilight shelves, I picked out a random book and banished it to my 'inventory' again, or my 'bag' if you prefer. The mares all gasped at what I had done. Twilight saw the book disappear into a white magic and quickly crawl its way up my arm and into my bag. "He's not lying," she said plainly. Re-summoning it, I put it back into the shelf where it belonged. "Whoa," the cyan one shouted. Rainbow Dash, was it? Anyway, she came flying over to me, "That. Was. So. Awesome!" Looking over to her friends she corrected herself, "I mean; that was pretty cool. Got any other tricks?" She said in a deeper voice. I just chuckled and nodded my head... "And then, I can shape and warp the materials how I wish," I said. The mares had all wanted to know what else I could do, and so I showed them. Right now, I was crafting. In the middle of the room, I had placed a crafting table. It was a slightly rounded one, and looked much fancier than the rustic one I had back home, but it did the job. Currently, I had summoned all of the iron from my inventory, and was now playing with it as if it were mercury. White magic flowed down my arms and into the crafting table as I molded the iron into random shapes and forms, it levitating above the table. "That's impossible," Twilight spoke, "it's just not possible. You'd need a great amount of heat and lots of strength to do such a thing!" She denied. I don't get her. She says that everything needs to have a possible explanation, yet she can't explain magic herself. "So, sugar cube," the orange one, Applejack, said, "So... You gonna do anything with that?" "You have no idea," I replied, "Any requests in particular?" "How about a tiara?" Asked Rarity, "I'd look just smashing in a nice tiara!" "Iron is a really dull colour. How about gold?" I asked. She almost screamed, "Yes!" And so, pulling some cobblestone out of my inventory, I crafted a small furnace, then placed it into the ground. "What is that?" Twilight asked. "It's a furnace..." I replied flatly. I knew what was coming. "No! You are not lighting a fire inside of my library. This isn't only my library, but this is my home!" She complained as I chucked a piece of coal in. Instantly, the furnace roared to life, a fire blazing inside of it. I then placed some gold encrusted netherack into it, and waited. About thirty seconds later, the fire died down and I collected the now separated gold and netherack from the furnace. The six merely looked at me in shock. It must've been because I set a fire inside. Either that, or because I was sitting on top of the furnace. "Relax. It doesn't get hot enough to hurt," I assured them. Twilight was the first to break from her daze, "Impossible! You can't melt things without great heat!" "That's exactly what you said before!" I replied, putting all of the refined gold onto the crafting table. Despite their dazes, all of the ponies proceeded to follow my hands, watching me work. "Besides, I don't know how you pegasi are able to fly with such small wings," "Magic!" She replied rather confidently, a smile on her face. "Exactly..." I said, melting the floating gold above us, my eyes never leaving the table. She sighed, giving up the battle I presume. Finally! Pulling strands of gold from the base of the tiara up, I thinned them out to the size of a pin, then thicker again. I must say, it's a complete work of art. I never had much confidence in myself, but I must say that it has boosted by now. Hell, I want to make another masterpiece! "It's done!" I said. It only took me a good five minutes, but Rarity was absolutely beaming at it. I take it that she was obsessed with, uh... Fashion? She takes the tiara from the crafting table, then levitates it atop her head. I can tell that she is absolutely giddy about it. I start pondering. Gold is rather soft, and that tiara will end up being very fragile, especially with the really thin, strand-like bits. I might be able to enchant it to make it harder. I've never enchanted before, but I know what it is and how to do it. Apparently there are infinite combinations of enchantments, but the better enchantments cost a lot more experience points. "It's made out of gold, so it's really fragile. I can enchant it if you want," I offered. It was that moment that Twilight decided to but in, once again, "Next you'll be casting curses..." This woman was really getting on my nerves. "Nope," I said, grinning, "I can't curse things," this seemed to piss her off. "I don't suppose anybody's got any diamond, a ton of obsidian and an empty book lying around?" I asked enthusiastically. Surprisingly, they did. "I have some diamond and obsidian at my boutique!" Rarity said, before dashing off out the door. "I'm pretty sure that I have a couple of empty books upstairs," Twilight spoke, before racing up the stairs by the side of the library. I just stood there, mystified. Do they have diamonds lying around? Useful... Come to think of it, why don't they have swords with them. Don't monsters spawn in the dark here? At least I always stay in the light. Don't I? Oh, crap! I didn't! Not even last night! Just to think about how dangerous that was sickened me. Obviously the other ponies was that something was wrong. "Are you ok?" Pinkie Pie asked. She hasn't talked too much, surprisingly. She did a lot of that when she showed up at Fluttershy's this morning. "Oh, it's nothing..." I replied. It wasn't too much of a deal, I guess. Applejack chose this time to come join in to the conversation, "I can tell that something's up, sugar cube. You don't need to keep it to yourself," she said. Other that the two, Fluttershy was still staring at the crafting table, wide-eyed in shock, and Rainbow Dash was tapping around at the crafting table, trying to get it to work for her. What she didn't realise was that only I could do that, and that made me chuckle a bit. "Well, I'm a bit unnerved that monsters don't seem to spawn here. It's one of my instincts to stay in the light, and now that I don't need to, it makes me uneasy..." I uttered. "It's okay! There's no monsters here, so-" Pinkie was cut off by a door opening. I turned to see Rarity, her chest falling and rising heavily. She looks like she's run a marathon! Turning towards the stairs, I saw Twilight, a smirk on her face. She must've come down earlier and heard it all. Fuck... "Got the stuff?" I asked. I still couldn't believe that diamonds were so abundant here, even if it was just an assumption. Pinkie and Applejack were giving me disapproving looks. Must've been because I tried to change the conversation so early. "Yes, darling," Rarity said enthusiastically. She splayed the materials down on top of the crafting table, and the obsidian next to it along with her tiara, and watched intently. It was quite amusing to watch. "Okay," I said, picking up the rock of obsidian and put it on top of the table alongside the couple of diamonds she had gotten me. I picked up one of the gemstones and it stared into it. Yep. It was a diamond: felt like one. Twilight levitated the book over to the crafting table, then I did my stuff. Morphing the chunk of obsidian into a squared shape, I cut off the four corners of it and put them underneath it as legs. Next, I pulled it the diamond and pulled it into quarters. I'm pretty sure I heard several jaws smash through the floor, too. Next, I shaped the diamonds to size and replaced the corners of the obsidian table with them. Lastly, I placed the closed book on top. "Presto!" I shouted, pulling the table into my inventory and holding it as if it had shrunk. Walking over to a wall, I placed it and watched the book that lay on the table come to life. It pulled magical symbols and information from the books around it, and added them to its own pages. The book floated above the enchantment table ready to read. Rarity, having already recovered from her dislocated jaw, had come to stand by me as I enchanted the tiara. "What do all of those symbols mean?" She asked. "You mean you can't see them?" I questioned. I can read them just fine. Can't I? Wait a minute, they're not Minecraftian characters. How can I read this? "No," she replied dryly. "I can try a translation spell," said the now-recovered Twilight Sparkle. Pointing her horn at the book, she shot a small pinprick laser at it, the letters rearranging themselves into readable words. A burst of electricity bounced from the book and up her laser sam towards her horn. "What?! Ow!" She shouted, "That stupid book won't let me use my magic!" "It probably detects your magic as foreign," I said smartly. She just glared at me and trotted over to the others, in which still had their jaws lowered to the ground, and their eyes still stuck at the crafting table. "Do you have any superglue 'round here?" I asked, scrolling through the book for some sort of 'toughness' enchantment. "Yes," she said, levitating a small, white tube over to me, "why do you ask?" I grabbed the glue, banishing it into my inventory. "I'll show you in a minute," I replied, before a blinding flash of white light came down from my chest and into the tiara, "There," I said, before banishing the tiara to my inventory and walking over to the still-paralysed ponies sitting on the ground. Summoning the superglue, I walked over to each pony one-by-one, and gluing their jaws to the ground. I stopped at Fluttershy. No, she's been to nice to me lately. Besides, she won't find the joke too funny. Walking back to the enchanting table, I summoned the tiara and lay it on the tough surface of the obsidian enchanting table. Next, I summoned a shovel from my inventory and raised it above my head. Swinging it down onto the tiara only elected a gasp from Twilight and a cry from Rarity. Pulling the shovel up, I found that there was a big, tiara-shaped dent in the shovel's head. "Yep, it's tough as diamond!" I said enthusiastically, earning a stifled giggle from Twilight. I'm pretty sure Rarity feinted, but she'll be up soon. I think... "Uh, girls?" Applejack's voice came from behind me, "Why are our heads stuck to the floor?" She asked. Twilight laughed, and the now-recovered Fluttershy even spared a giggle. "I'm such a troll..." I said to myself. > Chapter Seven: They Thought Wrong! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "I can't see anything," Twilight spoke, disappointed at her latest discovery. I had just been speaking to the girls about how the inventory and storage system works, and Twilight had insisted that she see what was inside of my backpack. "Really?" I asked, taking the pack from her and looking inside of it for myself, "I can see heaps of white 'energy' stuff," I said plainly. She shook her head. "Maybe, but I can't see anything at all. I can't even detect any magic inside of it either..." She sadly spoke. I couldn't help but be sorry for her. She was being kind of an ass at the library, but I don't think she's actually half as bad as I thought. At least she was being nicer to hang out with than Applejack, who was annoyed because my prank that I pulled had been so good. Actually, I think she was pissed because I pulled it in the first place, but I reckon my version was better... It turns out that I didn't think ahead enough, in which left the three mares stuck to the ground for almost an hour while Twilight went out to the stores and bought some 'nail polish remover'. I'm still pondering on why they even have the stuff here. It's not like these ponies even have nails or anything, but it turns out that nail polish is used on talons and claws of dragons and griffons. Interesting, really. The answer, of course, led me to think about these dragons. Were they like the Enderdragon, or weaker. If they were as strong, I struggle to think of such a power that keeps them from attacking. That is unless these dragons are small, fluffy and cute, just like the ponies on this world. Normal ponies on Minecraftia would smell of manure and hay. Not the most pleasant thing to get a whiff of, mind you. But here, it seems that those rules don't apply. Instead, the pony seems to smell of shampoo or something. Although it may sound creepy, I've been walking around and smelling each of the ponies while they weren't looking, and I found the results interesting. Pinkie Pie smelt of frosting and sugar, Rainbow Dash smelt of fresh linen, Twilight smelt of lavender, Fluttershy smelt of... Nothing really. Applejack smelt of apples and Rarity smelt of a dark-chocolatey smell. I don't know why I needed to know. Please don't ask me... "Hello?" I heard Twilight say, snapping me from my deepening thoughts. "Oh, sorry," I said, "I was just thinking about stuff," "What about?" She questioned. "Um. The sun," I lied. Well, it was more like a half lie. I was thinking about that earlier, too. "What about it?" Applejack asked, a hint of annoyance still lingering in her voice. "It's going to set really soon..." I told. The sun was going down, and I still don't have my own shelter. I'd better do something about that, "Whelp, it's been nice knowing you," I stated, putting on my backpack and walking towards the door, "but I really must get started on building a shelter," The mares just sat and watched me as I waltzed out the door, until realising what I had just done. Stumbling over one-another trying to get to me, they stepped out of the door. "Well, there goes our plan on keeping him a secret..." Rainbow spoke. I was already out on the street and was casually strolling about as if I were one of this towns residents; I will be pretty soon... The townsponies all stopped and stared, some of them dropping what they were holding. Their reactions only fuelled my smile. Twilight and her friends slowly followed behind, a bit nervous about the current ordeal. I had just gone and pretty much leapt into the situation like a boss, and shocked the fuck out of everybody. If only I still had that tube of superglue. I decided to go up to the border of the town. That way, no one can complain that I've taken already-owned property. The six mares kept bickering at me about the border housing the 'Everfree Forest,' and about how dangerous it is. Yeah... Not listening. "The plants grow," Applejack stated. "The clouds move," Rainbow joined. "And the animals care for themselves," Fluttershy chimed in. "All on their own!" They all exclaimed in symphony. "And?" I asked. Are they saying that 'they' grow the plants and 'they' move the clouds all without the forces of nature? I knew Fluttershy took care if the animals already, so that didn't surprise me. "You're saying that it doesn't work the same on your world?" They asked. You know, if I had to move the clouds by myself, there'd be remains of pillars sticking up everywhere... "Nope," I said calmly. Honestly, it would have been chaos on my world if I actually had to look after my crops. "I guess the Everfree sounds a lot like your own world then," Twilight joined in on the conversation, "but here are many monsters that inhabit the Everfree Forest too!" She claimed. I simply shrugged and summoned my diamond sword, keeping it at hand. "You do realise that you're now probably known by everypony here?" She asked as if I were crazy. I thought I told her not to bring this up again," "I told you that I don't care," I tried to calmly say, but a bit of my anger seeped into my words. Slowly breathing, I tried to calm myself down. I wasn't here to fight, only to troll. "How in tarnation do you expect to build a shelter in only a couple of hours?" Applejack asked, causing Twilight to step up beside her. "That's what I was wondering," Twilight stated, looking me over. I simply threw a disapproving frown her way, and played around with my inventory, summoning and banishing my sword from hand to hand. She simply rolled her eyes and smirked, come get us when you're done," she said plainly. Obviously they thought that I wasn't skilled enough to pull such a feat. They thought wrong... I eyed them as they left, them giving the occasional nervous glance towards the townsponies. I chuckled. Look at them now! I should make a nice area to build the house first. I am going to cut out a patch of trees from the Everfree to make room 'outside' of the town for my home. You know, it feels impossibly weird to be pulled from your old house and your old world, and just go to build another house afterwards. Come to think of it, I wonder how Pixel and Cuboid were doing. It's only been almost a day, yet it feels like forever... Pixel and Cuboid weren't stupid. They knew that something had happened to their master, yet they were too scared to go into The Nether and find him. The Nether was not a place for wolves at all. The lava would swallow them up the first chance it got. They could always use their teleportation trick. Their master had said that it was only to be used when he hadn't told them that they weren't to, and while he did tell them before he left for The Nether, it had been almost a day now, and the wolves were worried. Maybe just a few more days. Surely their master was gone for a reason, and he needed to do things on his own. I whistled to myself a happy tune. It was one of the songs from the music disks I found in dungeons. I had a jukebox back home and would play this one all the time! Which one was it again? Ah, that's right! It was 'C418-Cat!' That was my favourite out of the few music disks I had found in the dungeon underneath my old house! At least the six mares had left me alone to work. If they were still here, I would be answering questions instead of terraforming. Currently I was flattening the ground so that I had something flat to work on. It was going well, and I was almost ready to start building. Looking back towards a nearby path, I saw a small group of residents watching me intently. They saw me catch a glimpse of them and tried to back away behind a nearby building. I sniggered at their antics. Just wait until they see me start building. I wonder if any of them will be brave enough to talk to me... The area looks flat enough, and the trees have been cut well out of range of the house. Thing about when I cut trees is that I also obtain the stump and roots. The roots can be used in various crafting recipes, and the stump can be used as firewood. Having cut all of the trees down to nothing was the way I did it on my first few days too! I watched the group of ponies passively through my peripheral vision. I was ready for any attackers, but I kept my sword hidden, not wanting to scare the locals. Of course, what worser way to make a first impression on the locals with a long, badass sword in your grip? I crafted and placed a crafting table by the worksite. I already had a house in mind, but I still need to build it. I pushed my hands to the crafting table and turned my logs to planks and the planks to stairs, so on and so forth. I heard the crowd gasp, but payed no attention to them. Measuring out the perimeter of the house, I marked it with a trail of stones. That way, I could see where I needed to place each block. Placing my first block, I heard the crowd gasp once again, this time louder. Turning towards them, I saw that the crowd had more than doubled since I last looked at them. This may escalate real fast... The large group of ponies are starting to make me nervous. I had finished actually 'building' the house, but I need to decorate it slightly. I made the walls out of a rugged stone, ready to paint. The walls of stone actually filled my wooden framing of the house. Many windows lay in the sides of he house. The house itself was an L-shaped storey, above a square storey. The missing sector of the L-shaped story was taken up by a balcony with a rustic, wooden railing. The windows weren't actually filled with any glass panes yet, as I needed to go and find some sand first. Unlike the stoney outside of the walls, the inside of them were made from oak planks layered diagonally. The doorways were already accompanied by several wooden doors and the floor of the house was a sanded 'Everfree' planks. The Everfree planks were a darkish colour, much like the spruce wood I'd find back home. I should run down and find some sand, wool and flowers. Flowers were the easiest to find, and I was able to discover many different colours of them! There was a nice, light, cyan one I planned to use to paint the stoney walls. Obtaining the petals from the flower, I ground them and mixed them with a little water from a stream near Fluttershy's. I also filled all of my other containers with water too! Anyways, I had a paint ready to use. In only five minutes, I was able to paint the whole outside of he house, save for the framework, a nice blue colour. While I was looking for the water, I also noticed a lot of sand on the bottom of Fluttershy's stream, and so I took a bit of it too. Right! The glass is installed and the doors have been painted too. I have varnished the wooden framing with some crushed Everfree tree leaves. They give off a pungent smelling oil that seems to work just like it. I thought I'd use it on the house to give it a more 'refined' look. I also was able to put a roof in. I made it out of stone tiles, and painted them a brownish colour using another type of flower I had found. Since the six mares left, it had only been an hour. Time to get fancy... Okay. I had created a bed from some cotton plants and some oak planks. Even I was surprised that I could make silken sheets from just a field of cotton plants, but apparently it works anyway. Using the sheets and stuff, I was able to make a bed out of said sheets, some iron for the springs, and some wood for the actual bed. I dyed the sheets a light green and filled he pillow with assorted dried plants and flowers. Hey, I didn't have much! Besides, it'll smell pretty nice, right? From the cotton, I was able to make a fluffy carpet! I dyed the thing green too, and lay it in my bedroom, in which was upstairs. Upstairs was also the bathroom and the lounge. In the lounge was a set of stairs that led downstairs to the living room, kitchen, laundry and dining room. The living room would open right up to the front door. Outside, was a small flower garden, and a gravel path leading towards the larger, dominant gravel path that the group of ponies stood on. A couple of them had actually brought picnic mats and had lunch while watching me build. At least these ponies liked what I did, right? A couple of brave equines were able to steel themselves enough to come up and talk to me, and I would tell them what I had told Twilight and her friends: about my world and my life. One of them was a white coated mare with a blue and cyan streaked mane, and a music note butt-tattoo. Her name was 'Vinyl Scratch,' and I could tell we were going to get along excellently! I still have half an hour... Just wait until I show Twilight and the others this magnificent house... > Chapter Eight: Gold! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Herobrine was angry. Very angry. That confounded player had managed to get away from him! The fact that he had used one of Herobrine's own monsters' products to escape him infuriated him. Players weren't allowed to get away from him, and never have! So why was this one human able to escape his plans? Perhaps there was a bug in the world... And these 'ponies' that helped him only fuelled Herobrine's fire. Why do they help him? He's a weak warrior, not a friend. Yet still, Herobrine could see him talking to the NPCs of this place and having a great time. Herobrine had follower the 'player' into the portal once it had left. He followed the player around, readying for the 'destiny.' He knew it had to happen, yet he didn't want it to happen. He could have annihilated it quickly yesterday, but he had been foolish enough as to play with his prey. Now he had to do it later, just not yet. They were equal at the moment, but give it some time, and the 'player' will be at its weakest, and that's when Herobrine will strike! The thing was, until then, Herobrine was still going to try and destroy everything that the infernal human lived for... I knocked at the door wildly. It was almost night, and it was one and three quarters of an hour ago, that I had said that I was going to build a house, but i said that i was going to build it in two hours. The six mares had seen me break the laws of physics on multiple occasions, yet wouldn't believe me when I said I'd build a house tonight. It only took me a time-defying five minutes, to create all of the furniture for my house. It is a much better house than I used to have too, so... The mares were still in Twilight's house, I hope. My question was answered as Twilight opened the door. She smirked. "Couldn't do it, huh? And now I'm betting you need a place to stay the night, correct?" She said, grinning. "Incorrect," I spoke flatly, causing Twilight's smile to fly out the window. "What!?" I heard a tomboyish voice come from inside. Sticking her head out of the door, she looked from side, then eying me, let loose a squeak like a fangirl. "You built the house, in two hours?" She asked, a glimmer in her eyes. "Well... Not really," I said, causing Twilight's frown to raise upwards slightly, "I actually built the house in an hour and a half. The fifteen to thirty other odd minutes was me painting, making furniture and walking here. Oh! And I spoke with the locals!" I said, causing Twilight to open her eyes in shock. "W-What!?" She stammered. You know, I just loved getting on this pony's nerves. "I said, I spoke with the locals," I repeated, my 'inner smile' beaming so hard, it would make the sun proud. "You can't just 'speak' with the locals!" She said, "You'll get yourself in trouble!" "Does it look like I'm in shackles, Twilight? Besides, they were nice to talk to," I told, before summoning a broad handful of gold, "I was actually thinking of taking you guys out for dinner I met a guy who owned one of the local restaurants here, and offered me a reservation for tonight. Does gold work as a currency here?" I asked. It took a few seconds for Twilight to snap out of her daze, before replying, "Not really. We use 'bits,'" she said, a wry smile on her face. She really does care at times. "But there's a stallion who likes to buy and sell minerals at one of the stalls in Ponyville. Gold here in Equestria doesn't cost too much, but will sell at around thirty bits per ingot. You want me to take you there now?" She asked. I was going to reply with a snarky comment reminding her that I wasn't a little child, but I honestly didn't know the way, and I was still wary around the civilians here. "Yeah, sure. Why not?" The stallion was just sitting at stall when we saw him. The marketplace was almost empty now, and he was one of the only ones still here. It almost reminded me of an abandoned NPC village. "Hello, Lemon Quartz!" Twilight shouted, trotting over to his stall. It was a small wagon, housing a wide range of gemstones and minerals. A lot of the things I could see were either unknown, or glowing. Or both... "Good evening, Princess," the old, yellow-coated pony bowed. Was Twilight a princess? Why didn't she tell me earlier?! "Oh, Lemon Quartz," Twilight sighed, "You don't have to address me royally," Obviously her statement didn't change anything, as the pony before her only lowered his head more. Twilight sighed once again. "Arise," she said glumly, and to my surprise, he did exactly that. Pulling his head from the floor, I was able to see him more clearly. He had a faded yellow coat and a white mane that hung beside his face in bundles. He bore a butt-tattoo of a piece of bluish gemstone behind a magnifying glass. "What can I do for you today?" He asked rather politely. "I was wondering if you'd like to buy some minerals off of my friend here," she exclaimed with a forced smile, pushing me towards the stallion with her telekinesis. The guy just went wide eyed in shock at the sight of me, but the reaction left as quickly as it came. "Ah," he said, "You must be the creature that the towns been talking about! You know, it took me almost a year to have my house built, yet yours only took hours," he claimed, smiling happily. "Oh, that's a shame," I spoke, "Sorry that your house took so long to build," I don't know why I was sorry. It wasn't my fault nor my responsibility in any way. "Oh, that's all right! What happened back in the past can stay back in the past," he croaked slightly, "What were you willing to sell me?" The elder pony asked. "Want any gold?" I asked. He nodded, asking me to show him some of the gold. Pulling the gold from my inventory, I revealed it to him. He almost reeled away at my 'magic,' but then remembered the stories from his other friends. Plucking the neatly constructed gold ingot from my hand, and inspecting it with a seemingly large magnifying glass. After minutes of inspection, he placed the ingot down on the stall's table. "I can get you about thirty-two bits an ingot. How many do you have?" He questioned. I have about fifty-six, but I wish to split it, and sell you twenty-eight of them," I replied. I'll still need some of them for my own uses. "That's a lot of ingots!" The stallion exclaimed, "That'll give you eight-hundred and seventy-nine bits! You're just lucky that I have that much on me!" He joked. I smiled at his antics; He was a nice guy. "Can I please see the ingots?" He asked. I nodded in approval, and summoned all of the gold from my inventory, placing it on the table of the stall. The old pony's eyes widened. After a while he started to count out the bits. Turning to Twilight, I found that she wasn't by my side anymore. She had walked over to another one of the stalls and was looking at some of the quills that they seemed to be selling. I smiled. It was rare for me of all people to catch a glimpse of her enthusiastic side, and I must say that it is rather cute when she is seeking new information. Her eyes widen and she smiles one of the biggest smiles I've ever seen... Ever. I heard a coughing noise and turned back to the stallion. Lemon Quartz, I believe it was. Apparently he had finished counting out the bits. They were all in a pile on the counter, and I merely touched one of them, pulling them all into my inventory. Lemon Quartz, once again, looked in awe. "Thanks, Lemon Quartz. See you later!" I shouted, turning and walking towards Twilight, waving back to Lemon Quartz. "Goodbye!" I heard him say behind me. Nice guy. "Twilight!" I shouted. She looked as if she was about to buy a crate of goods from the stall. "Yeah?" She asked. I walked up to her. "I'm ready to get back to the library," I told her, "What are you getting?" "Some quills and parchment. How'd you go?" "Not too bad. I earned eight-hundred and seventy-nine bits," I said. "What!? Do you realise how much that is?" She spoke, almost as shocked as she was when I told her I was able to build the house in two hours. I've still got to show her that, too. "I'm guessing its a lot?" I asked. This was going to be a long night... The town was starting to turn an orange hue when we got back. The sun was setting, and the ponies inside of Twilight's library were chatting away. "Hey, everypony!" Twilight said, walking in through the door, "We're back!" "Hey," I added, walking in after her and shutting the door behind me, "We might want to leave for dinner early, before it gets too dark." I said, causing the other five ponies to give me a questioning look. It wasn't going to get completely dark for about an hour or too. So we should be good before then. But afterwards, it would be too dark to see anything. I'm sure Twilight knows a light spell, and I still have about three odd torches left. We all left Twilight's and headed off to the restaurant that the pony that I had talked to earlier had reserved a table at. It was at the other side of town, so we had enough time for a small chat. "So," Pinkie Pie said, "where are we going?" "We're going to go to-" I was cut off by an increasing, croaky roar. Only one thing was aero make such a paralysing noise: "Endermen..." I uttered grimly. > Chapter Nine: Explosions Are Painless! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "E-Enderman?" Fluttershy asked shakily, stopping in her tracks. I cleared my throat, "Enderman are a huge, three block high monster who can tower over even me and aren't hostile unless you look them in the eyes. They can teleport and attack you from behind, and will kill on sight after being looked at," I spoke, "Come on!" I walked onwards towards the town. After a couple of steps, I looked back. Twilight, Rainbow and Applejack had followed, but the others weren't budging. Fluttershy was just hiding behind her hooves, shaking like a leaf. Pinkie Pie just stood there, her usually pink mane looking rather deflated. Rarity just shook her head repetitively. It looked as though they were all going to have a panic attack. "Twilight? Applejack? Rainbow Dash?" I asked, "I need you to go and take these three to Twilight's house, now," I gestured back to the library. Rainbow was hesitant, but I managed to convince her to go with the rest of them. I sighed, turning back towards the town. I could now hear many pony screams, as well as the groans of some zombies and the occasional rattle of a skeleton's loose bones. A crunching on gravel was apparent, and the endermen's buzz-like crows were all I needed to hear to get the adrenalin rushing again. I sprinted into the town square like a madman. Not the best way to approach a battle, but it was my favourite way anyway. Summoning my diamond sword in one hand, and my iron sword in the other. I felt an arrow whiz past my ear as I ran, my lungs moving like billows. Kicking up a cloud of dirt as I skid to a stop, I quickly turned my head to gain a view of my surroundings. So, it was sort of like a circular arena. I saw about twenty zombies, fifteen skeletons, and a few creepers. That probably wasn't all of the creepers. I'm betting that some of them are hiding in the shadows, too. The endermen weren't anywhere to be found, but I'm guessing I'll be seeing some of them very soon. Pulling back into a sprint again, I ran at a pack of zombies, my swords by my sides. Jumping, I glided right into the front of the pack, landing onto the chest of a zombie and snapping its spine with my weight. Slashing to my sides, I sliced a few of its teammates. Then turned and pulled out a torch. It was getting a bit too dark to see. Running at the nearest skeleton, I decapitated its head clean from its body. I quickly placed another torch, then sprinted back around to the other side of the 'arena.' Too easy. I raised my swords, ready to smite another enemy. I felt a sudden pain in the side of my shoulder, my arm hanging limp. The pain stung like a bucket of hot lava being poured on top of a zombie bite! Great! Now I have the use of only one arm. I banished the diamond sword in my limp arm, then replaced the iron sword in my other arm with an apple. Quickly biting into it, I felt the slight anaesthetic effect to take place. For my arm, it would likely take two days to heal. Great. There'll probably be a massive-ass scar there, too. Feeling another arrow whiz past my head, I snapped back into reality and placed a kick into the stomach of an incoming zombie. Turning around, I saw another pack of zombies. Summoning my diamond sword again, I swung at the pack, separating their heads from their bodies. I love diamonds, but this sword looked more like a ruby sword now. From the tip down to the sheath was all completely covered with zombie blood. I heard something his behind me and turned, striking it with my sword. It was a creeper, and I was too late. The explosion from the creeper hit me square in the chest and I went flying backwards. The after-burn was a bitch, but at least I wasn't dead... Yet. I have to have destroyed at least fifty monsters by now, but more keep coming. The area was too big to stop them from spawning. I was running, ready to place a torch, but was stopped in my tracks by screaming. The screaming of six girls, and it was coming from the library. I knew exactly who they were... "Girls!" I shouted, turning and sprinting back towards the library. They were probably in trouble. They didn't know much about my world, and I'm sure that they could be killed with ease. Then again, I'm sure that they could also fend for themselves. Wether they could or not, I had to go and help. Almost slamming into the library door, I swung it open and dashed inside. The downstairs light was on, luckily, but the girls weren't to be seen. Heading upstairs, I saw that it was darkish. Of course something would have spawned here. Looking across the room, I saw that the six mares were eyeing a tall, dark, slender being with two, crystalline, glowing eyes. "I see that you've found an endermen," I dryly joked. They all turned to see me, and then I realised my big mistake. Thinking quickly, I summoned my knife and I threw it at the endermen, stabbing through the neck and stunning it. I ran over to the girls, placing a torch and taking a defensive stance before the six. I felt a lot like my wolves at the time. The way that they would loyally jump into the battle for me, and die for me. Now, I felt the same way for these girls. Besides, they had told me that they control the 'Elements of Harmony,' so if one of them isn't there to use them, they're all useless. The endermen stood up and ran at us, spewing a purple blood from its gaping mouth. I stepped forward and skewed my sword through its chest, causing the beast before me to gag, then fall to the floor and fall silent. The girls just huddled there, staring at the dead body lying on the floor. Walking over to the body, I ripped the eyes out and stripped it of its skin. Its talons could be useful too, so I should take them as well. Having stripped the body of its useful resources, I walked back over to the six mares. They looked horrified, but I'm betting that there'll be more than just this that they'll have to deal with soon. "Um..." I spoke, trying to break the awkward silence, "You good to stay here, or..." I faded. Twilight was the first to speak up. "Uh... C-Could we please s-stay with you?" She said shakily. I nodded, walking towards the stairs. I could tell that they were following, the clip-clop of their hooves tapping against the ground. This was going to be a long night... > Chapter Ten: Too Many Ponies! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We slowly walked towards my house, the zombies attacking from every angle. There weren't too many of them though, and I was able to decapitate them with ease. Whenever I hurt even one, the girls would disgustedly look at me, hurt in their eyes. It really didn't help that these ponies hated pain, and death. Really, they may have to et used to such a thing. Monsters have started spawning all over Ponyville, and if these girls can't fend for themselves, they're screwed. Most of these monsters didn't have feelings, and the ones that might have didn't show it. The path to my house was unblocked and free of creatures, as I had decided to place torches around he garden. I breathed in the fresh air of the night. Save for the smell of the rotting flesh and blood, and most would have called it a pretty nice night. The night had just started, and I'm worried that the monsters will cause mass devastation to this village. The very fact that the monsters appeared here quite suddenly, confused me. Why didn't they spawn before? What was so special about tonight? Pushing the questions to the back of my mind, u walked up the pathway, the coarse gravel crunching with every step. Pulling open the wooden door, I stepped inside. It was quite warm inside of the house, unlike the cold night air of outside. I sighed. The ponies everywhere else were probably freaking out right about now. They were all so nice... "Hey! Hold up!" A scratchy voice shouted. I whirled around, thinking I had left someone behind. But it wasn't one of the ponies that I knew were following me. Seeing the sight caused my eyes to shoot open slightly. There was a group of roughly ten ponies following me, not including the original six. "Vinyl?" I asked. She was the one that I had met earlier today. She bore a shortish, lapis and cyan mane, a white coat and magenta eyes. Her purple glasses that usually sat over her eyes were now pushed up onto her forehead, and one of the lenses were cracked. "What are you doing here?" I questioned. "Well," she said in a casual manner, "there was heaps of creepy things chasing us, so I was going to attack it first, obviously," Yeah. Obviously... "But then I saw you and the Elements, so I followed you guys instead! Oh, yeah. These guys decided to tag along as well..." She finished, gesturing behind herself. Vinyl Scratch made herself at home: walking inside, and placing muddy hoof-prints all over the floor. I would have to clean that up later. But it's rather strange. Was it raining? Oh, wait. Is that blood? I sighed. Of course, with Vinyl welcoming herself in, the rest of the ponies followed. Whilst inviting themselves in, I received a few curious and a few worrisome looks as I held the door open. I couldn't send them out now, could I? Once all of the ponies made it in, I closed the door, and barricaded it with a couple of blocks of stone. The monsters couldn't get past if they tried. The stone weighed a butt-tonne, and even I wouldn't be able to push or lift it if I tried. Not including the use of my powers of course. I looked at the now muddied floor, then at Twilight. She notice this, and began to cast a spell. I readied myself, as the spells that Twilight casts tend to make me fee... weird. The magic atop Twilight's horn sent a small ripple of a shockwave in every direction. Surprisingly, nobody seemed to notice, and continued their curious venture around my house. I would be lying if I said I wasn't the least bit annoyed. The ponies just walked right in and claimed their stay. Then again, I reckon I would have done the same if I were in their shoes... Er. Horseshoes? Meh. Half of the ponies just curiously walked around, some of them upstairs already, and the others were just sitting there, silent. Jeez. I wouldn't have imagined that an entire world of ponies were so sensitive to this sort of stuff. How do they not have to kill or hurt; especially the latter? A crashing noise could be heard and everyone turned to see what caused the noise. A grey pegasus mare had crashed through my roof, setting a cloud of white dust everywhere. "This is going to be a long night," I muttered. What a long night! You know, these ponies aren't half bad! I met them all, and talked with them, too. There was Vinyl Scratch, of course. But there was also: Minuette(or Colgate), Berry Punch, Time Turner, Trixie Lulamoon, Lyra Heartstrings, Bon-Bon and the one who crashed through the roof earlier, Derpy Hooves. I'm surprised that the house could even fit this many. The bedding arrangements were going to be a problem though. I did, however, manage to obtain a major load of spider silk at the fight earlier. So I might be able to make some sheets from those. Speaking of the previous fight, my arm was burning like hell. Whenever I forgot about it, it felt fine. But then, since I tried to forget about it, I'd try to use it for a task, and it would hurt, making me remember again! Walking into an empty room, I began to craft fabric, and then large, cushiony beds, pillows and blankets for the guests. "New-Earthen manipulation software, nice!" A voice from behind me spoke, but when I whipped around, I saw that it turned out only to be Time Turner(joke is half-intended). "Hey Time Turner," I said, tired from all of the company, "What's up?" "Oh, nothing. Just wanted to check up on you," he replied. "Check up on me?" I asked. He muttered something under his breath, then faced to see me again. "Just wanted to tell you to keep a lookout for anything suspicious," "Why?" I asked. This stallion was rather weird... And suspicious. "Oh, no reason," he replied, a quirky smile on his face, "Anyway, I've got to go now... See ya!" He strained nervously. Of course I was conspicuous, but there were more important things to do right now than decode one pony's conversation with me. The beds were done anyway. Banishing all of the finished products to my inventory, I walked upstairs and lay them out in my room and the next. I'd usually dislike anyone sleeping with me in my room, but I'm sure I could make an exception tonight. "Beds are ready!" I shouted downstairs. The ponies slowly trotted up the stairway and grouped in front of me. "Half of you can go in the room with me, but the other half will have to sleep in the other room," I said calmly, gesturing over to the room next to my bedroom. Some of the ponies shot hesitant looks towards the others, but seemed to remain calm. "You choose," I said. The ponies began shouting at each other, and I just sighed. Walking down the stairs, and surprisingly not followed nor noticed, I made sure that every area was lit up completely, making the room look like a torch-spiked cavern, and trod back up the stairs again. I had noticed that the shouting had died down, and there was silence upstairs. Strange. I'd only been gone a few minutes. Summoning my sword in my one good arm, I snuck a peek into the bedroom and couldn't help but smile. The ponies were all in their 'homemade' beds, and were quietly whispering to each other. I checked the other room, and saw the same thing. I think I really am starting to believe in the 'no bad, just good' lives that these ponies were leading. How such a thing existed, I don't know, but I'd like to find out. Sneaking over the murmuring ponies in my room, I got under my covers and began to pull my clothes off. I heard many conversations from these ponies, but couldn't make much of any of them. Not much made sense to a person who has only been here for one or two days. Sighing, I threw my clothing to an empty corner, and pulled the covers tight. Life will become harder for these ponies very soon... > Chapter Eleven: Obsidian, Now! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Waking up, I sighed, looking out of the window at the now-sunlit town. You could see the mess of the town-square; the blood, guts, bones and corpses littering the ground. Several creature tumbled to the ground, dying as they tried to get away from the fire that was now eating away at their flesh and bones. Twisting my neck around, I scanned the room. Most of the ponies had left the room, leaving only Derpy, Trixie and Fluttershy. They slept so peacefully, I couldn't help but think if they ever tossed and turned in their beds. I end up doing it, and on several occasions, fallen out if bed because of it. I'm surprised that the other ponies weren't still here looking out the window. They seemed quite uncomfortable last night about it. Pulling the covers off of me and hopping off the bed, I walked over to the corner of the room and grabbed my clothes. I don't think I noticed, but the 'cleaning' spell that Twilight had casted last night seemed to clean my clothing, too. I wonder if I should make some new clothing soon; my old ones have for heaps of holes and tears in them. Putting my backpack on and scanning the other room, I saw that only Vinyl was still sleeping there, the rest probably downstairs. The room had a few books lying on the floor. Likely Twilight. She was the 'bookworm' of the town, after all... Lumbering down the stairs, I didn't expect to see the ponies making breakfast in the kitchen. I don't know why they were cooking me breakfast, but it smelt good. Apparently the ponies heard me grossing downstairs, and turned to look at me. Damnit! I hate being the centre of attention. "Hi," I uttered, before taking an empty seat at the table. I lay my arms onto the table and faceplanted into them. I was tired, and my body was achy in so many places. "Good morning!" I heard a voice speak, before hearing ceramic placed before me. That's strange. I didn't stock the cupboards with anything yet. Lifting my head, I saw that it was Applejack, who had sat next to me and was eating a slice of what looked like apple pie. I looked at my own plate, to see that I too had a steaming slice of apple pie on my plate. I frowned in confusion. "Where'd you get the plated from?" I asked, pondering why the ponies went and mane me breakfast after what they saw me do last night. "When we found out that you didn't have any plates, Pinkie Pie went and grabbed a stack from her house for us to use. She says that she's gonna need them back though," She stated, taking a bite of apple pie from her plate. Apparently these ponies didn't use cutlery... Summoning the old knife that I had made back at Fluttershy's, I stabbed the food and started to eat. Crap! I had almost forgotten that the apples taste so good here! And this tastes even better anyway! I mumbled in approval, causing Applejack to laugh. "I'm glad you like it, sugar cube!" She said, before turning to chat to Rainbow Dash. I am honestly surprised that the ponies were handling the situation so well. There were burning monsters screaming outside, and the ponies just continued to eat breakfast. Amazing... Do the ponies all have a multi-personality disorder or something? I was dismissed of the thought when a mint-green unicorn appeared next to me. I sighed. "Hello, Lyra," I greeted flatly. This stubborn pony would continually ask me questions about a place called 'Earth,' but I don't know what the hell 'Earth' is. "Whatcha doing?" She asked enthusiastically. I swear... "Nothing much," I said plainly. Lyra wasn't a bad pony, but her curiosity could strangle somebody... Twice! She was just looking at my hands. Staring into the very souls of my digits. She looked like a pedofile, honestly. I even took the utmost caution while eating, making sure that she didn't try to jump me or something. Luckily, Bon Bon noticed that I wasn't comfortable, and came to take Lyra away. I was actually very thankful for her. Again, Lyra wasn't a bad pony, but she could be really creepy at most times. "Sorry about her," the creamy-peach coated mare apologised. She bore a pink and purple mane, and had neither a horn nor wings. "It's okay," I corrected her, "She was just being... Unique..." "She's been talking about 'humans' for years now, and now that one actually exists... She just let her curiosity get the better of her," Bon Bon explained. "It's okay, really," I responded, "I just hope it doesn't happen again," I sighed. "Trust me, it won't," Bon Bon spoke, before saying goodbye and trotting off. I honestly hope that she means what she said. Pixel was somewhat worried now. It's world was starting to die, and the water was becoming boggy. The sky was beginning to turn a dirty brown colour, and abnormally large storm clouds seemed to border the horizon, convincing him that a storm was rolling in. The poor wolf didn't know what to do. He was impossibly thirsty, and his mate, Cuboid, was currently unconscious by the portal. He could teleport to his master, but he couldn't bring Cuboid with him, and he didn't wish to leave her behind. Sitting down, Pixel lay next to Cuboid. The entire world felt so uncomfortable now. Master's house was gone, encased with a flood of lava, and the portal was now surrounded by a completely circular fissure, blocking anything from entering or leaving. The portal would keep flashing and screeching, changing from red to purple every few seconds. A rugged breathing that sounded like two slabs of concrete being pulled against each other came from behind Pixel. Turning around to find the noise, he saw a blazing spirit floating behind him. As it manifested a fireball, the rods of fire floating around the blaze fed a light, orange magic to the ball of fire. In a flash of bright light, it fired a fiery orb directly at him. Out of pure instinct, Pixel teleported to his master. Although, as he floated through the inter-dimensional tunnel of pulsating lights, he thought only two words... 'Damn it!' One minute ago, I was sitting at the table and talking to Twilight. Now, there was an oh-so familiar wolf barking in my face. I couldn't manage to do anything but blink. Pixel? How'd be get here? He must've teleported to me. Hm... All of the ponies just sat there and stared. "Um... Another one of your 'tricks?'" Twilight questioned. I began to pet Pixel, then answered, "No. It's one of his tricks," I stated, "He can teleport to me whenever he chooses. I'm just not sure how he was able to do it across dimensions," I said, the wolf acknowledging me by giving Twilight an approving bark. "Hm... What else can it do?" Twilight asked. "It's a 'he,' Twilight. He can sense when I'm in danger, and will teleport to me if I am. He can also teleport to me as he wishes, but that doesn't end up happening very often. He heals as I do: with food, too," I informed her. I was almost suddenly knocked to the ground as Fluttershy flew over to see Pixel closer up. "Oh, he is so adorable!" She spoke, "What's his name?" She asked, emphasising the word 'his,' and giving Twilight a disapproving look. Twilight just sunk back into her chair and gave a sheepish smile. "His name's Pixel," I stated confidently. "Oh, that's such a nice name, isn't it? What does it mean?" Fluttershy gave me a curious look. "I don't know," I spoke. Looking around at all of the ponies watching us, I continued, "I can't remember anything later than the past thirty days or so," "That must be horrible," said Pinkie Pie, her flattened mane from yesterday having turned back again. I don't think I'll ever get used to the randomness and impossibility of that mare... "I guess I could try to find a remembrance spell," Twilight commented, "but they are quite complicated and very difficult to perform. Even for Princess Celestia, it would be quite difficult to do," "Nice way to be optimistic!" I sarcastically teased. Damn, it was so hard not to troll and piss off people sometimes. Almost suddenly, Pixel jumped out of Fluttershy's grasp and over to me, then he started yapping and barking at me. Fluttershy's eyes widened, and she seemed to be listening intently. I leaned over to Twilight. "What, can she listen to animals or something?" I joked. "Yes," she replied, earning a falter in my grin. Although she didn't seem to see it, as she was too intent on watching Fluttershy. I guess I shouldn't have asked... "Um," Fluttershy mumbled, "Do you have another dog?" "It's a wolf actually, and yes," I said... Wait a minute. Cuboid? Why didn't she teleport with Pixel? They always do stuff together. Something must have happened to her. "He says she's in trouble," Fluttershy said, worried of what might have happened. This was bad. What could have happened to Cuboid? What was wrong? "I need tonnes of obsidian, now!" I commanded. "Wait, what!? I don't have that much at my boutique!" Rarity spluttered. I couldn't waste time. Pixel probably teleported because he was in trouble. That must mean Cuboid was too! "I don't care! I need it now!" I shouted. I hated to shout, but the adrenaline had already started pumping, and I was prepared to do anything for that obsidian right now. "I-I'm sure that Lemon Quartz would have quite a lot, but why do you need it so badly?" Twilight asked. "Yeah," Rainbow Dash added, "Why the big rush?" "To save Cuboid!" I said, bursting out of the door. Today was going to be a big one... > Chapter Twelve: Feeling The Heat! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cuboid was not safe. She couldn't be. Cuboid was always hanging around with Pixel; they even teleported together. Something had must've happened, and whatever that bad thing was, I was going to smash it into oblivion. I sprinted around the streets of Ponyville, kicking up clouds of red dust behind me. I could hear a galloping behind me, and looked back. Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight following my tail. Spotting Lemon Quartz at his stall, I pulled to a stop, kicking up more dust and almost scaring the poor stallion. I was surprised that he was out here, the remainder of the carnage still present. "Lemon Quartz!" I shouted, "I need some obsidian, now!" "What's got you so worked up?" He asked, annoyingly trying to start a conversation. "Not now," I panted, "I just need a lot of obsidian!" "Um... Okay," he took his time, "I have some back home, but what do you need it for?" "I said not now," I shook, "Where's your house?" "Er... Other side of the block. It's the yellow one with a mineshaft aside it," he said warily. Looking behind me, I saw that Twilight and Rainbow Dash had run off towards his house. "A-Are you going to pay for it at least?" He asked, annoyed that we would go to take from his house without his permission or guidance. "Yes, yes," I quickly shouted back, "I'll pay you later!" And with that, I ran off towards his house. His house wasn't as far as I thought it would be, and I already saw Twilight levitating a couple of large boulders of obsidian out of the shaft, Rainbow Dash in tow, carrying a much smaller rock out. "So," Twilight said, straining. I felt worried for her, but my adrenaline would not let my feeling interfere, "Where would you like them?" "Just there'll do," I spoke. One side of me said to tell them that I was lying, and to go and get more. The other side of me said that they had done greatly already, and that it should be enough anyway. I agreed with the latter choice. Seeing Twilight drop the large, dark rocks onto the ground outside of Lemon Quartz's house, I walked over and absorbed them into my inventory. I reckon I have enough for what I need to do... Re-summoning the obsidian I had just collected, I ran over to an open spot in the town square, and quickly formed the portal. Due to myself building as fast as I could, the obsidian looked as if it were slightly twisted and withered, giving the portal a spooky feel. Looking back to the six mares, I could see their mildly horrified faces. I couldn't blame them; The portal frame was looking as if it belonged in a horror movie. Swapping the fraction of obsidian that I had left with a torch, I looked at the portal as if it were Herobrine himself. Whatever waited here, I feel I would be scared to find. Bringing the flaming torch down to the lower rim of the frame of the portal, it lit it as if it were wood. The flames crept their way up the sides of the portal, beginning to turn red, and warp and swirl. The colours soon had turned from red to purple, and began to swirl completely, the fire having run its course. But almost suddenly, it changed. It looked like old fashioned television static, where there would be a bright, horizontal line that flashed, and then it was gone. Same thing happened to the portal, but after the 'television static,' it changed back to red. I blinked, confused. But then I realised: that must be Herobrine's doing. I remember when he was at the portal doing some creepy shit to it, when I jumped in. That must be why this is happening. I looked back to the girls. "You coming?" I asked. Twilight seemed to have a determined glimmer in her eyes. "I'll go! Who knows what interesting stuff I could find in there!" She spoke enthusiastically. Twilight looked back at the group expectantly. "I guess I could come with," Rainbow Dash said cooly, dashing to my side. "What cool stuff's in there?" She whispered to me, gesturing back towards the portal. "You'll see," I told her. She was going to get the surprise of her life when she finds out what's actually in there. "I guess I could go too," Applejack informed us, walking to our side. Looking over to the other three, I waited. "No way am I going into there! It's probably full of lava and demonic stone and stuff!" Pinkie said, completely stunning me. Wat? "Don't be silly, Pinkie Pie," Rainbow assured. "Okay. Just don't blame me when your tail burns off!" She sung, walking off to who-knows-where. "Rarity?" Twilight asked expectantly. Nice try... "No, darling. I simply can not go and stray in an alien world without proper protection. I might get all icky!" She said, a poshly sheepish smile on her face. "And I'll take Fluttershy," Applejack uttered flatly, "as a no..." And with that, we all stepped into the portal, steeling ourselves for whatever may lie ahead. "Pinkie was right!" Twilight shouted, causing the gigantic caverns above us to echo. I ran over and quickly clapped a hand over her muzzle. We had just passed through the portal, and they were only able to keep quiet for a few seconds. I feel as if I were babysitting here... "Stay quiet!" I murmured quietly, looking over at the other side of the huge cavern. We were on a sort of cliff face, leaning right above the lake of lava, and I wasn't willing to take any chances. Speaking of chances, what are the chances that a ghast gives up looking for you? Zero to infinity, that's what. The ghast that I was eyeing accross the lava had seen us, and was now advancing and creating a large, explosive fireball in its mouth. "Nice going, Twilight 'Shout-le!" I said, running over and grabbing her, along with Applejack. "Rainbow!" I shouted, gesturing for her to get over here and hide. Too late... Before she could even try to get away, she was pummelled with a large fireball, in which proceeded to explode in an array of warm colours. The girls gasped, running to her aid. Forget her aid! We needed to destroy the source! Running nearby the advancing ghast, I pulled out my sword. This ghast shall not be leaving tonight. Jumping off of the edge of the cliff, I was able to clear the jump, and grab onto one of the ghast's long tentacles. Pulling my sword out, I proceeded to slice the other tentacles, save for mine, the blood oozing slowly right out of them. I noticed the ghast start to fall, and I quickly climbed the tentacle, pinching the flesh between my bulky hands as I made my way up the side of the ghast and onto the top. Jumping, I landed face-first into the cliff and begun to flail, falling. Scraping my hands against the red, rocky wall, I managed to sink my fingers into a crevice in the cliff. Assessing myself, I found that my front was covered in a large graze, my shirt completely ripped open at the front, making it look more like a vest. A quite bloody vest, mind you. I couldn't see the whole of my hands, but from what I could see, they suffered the same fate as my front did. There was something warm flowing from my nose, probably blood, and half of my fingernails were probably broken too... It should only take half of a day to fix. Looking back, I saw the ghast sinking slowly into the lava, its teary eyes looking straight back into my soul, as if it were pleading for help. Trying to shake my mind from it, I heard someone calling. "Twilight?" I called back. I sure hope it was her. "There you are!" She said, her head sticking out from the cliff above me. "Help would be nice," I yelled, trying to be heard over the fizzling and popping of the lava. "Oh, yeah," she said, a strained, sheepish smile on her face. She flew down, grabbed me, then pulled me up again. I was honestly scared when she picked me up. I still will never be able to figure out how she was able to carry me. I weighed a good eighty-five kilograms(about 180lbs) too! Once she had pulled me up, she was suddenly worried about my injuries. I just ignored her and walked over to Rainbow Dash. She was burnt on one side, her wing looking like a bunch charred of charred sticks. She was still conscious as she seemed to watch me as I walked over, but she didn't look too far from the jaws of death. She was grazed across her other side, and her breathing was laboured. My heart felt like it had exploded! Twice! I brought these ponies here, and now look! I was a shit-assed person, and deserved to go and die in a fucking hole... I felt a spark course through my brain, and I got a miraculous idea. Pulling out an apple and some of my gold, I melted all of the gold around the apple, creating a shiny, yellow-looking apple. Twilight, although sad for her friend, was eyeing the apple with curiosity. Applejack just stared. She was a bit too crazy about apples, I think. Putting the apple up to Rainbow's mouth, I stroked her mane. She didn't seem the 'soft' type, but it looked like she needed the comfort anyway. "Eat up," I whispered, allowing her to take a bite from it. Her eyes seemed to widen, even if only the slightest bit, and she strained herself to move her hooves and take the apple from my grasp for herself. She took a few more bites, then ate the core. Talk about liking something, she loved the stuff. She even kept eyeing my hands to see if there was any more. Twilight gasped, and Applejack's jaw fell to bedrock. Rainbow Dash was glowing a bright pinky-purple. Her wing was turning from charcoal to flesh and bone, and was starting to grow new feathers. The grazes on her one side all disappeared, and the burnt side of her body was healing and growing fur again. Twilight's mouth began to open and close like a fish, but nothing came out. Applejack just stood there, frozen. "I think I broke them," I told Rainbow Dash. She just looked at me, confused. I nodded towards her wing, and once she looked, she too had her jaw on the ground. I shook my head slowly. It's way too easy to break these ponies... > Chapter Thirteen: Them Eyes... > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The portal stood before me, rippling and pulsating its swirled reds and purples. I was confused, to say the least. The one portal, transported through three dimensions? How? I was originally going to send the mares home, but now I wasn't sure how to get them home. They just continued to stare at me, as if I were about to fix it, and it wasn't helping me. The very fact that we made it through the portal the first time confused me a little, but then again, it was either here or The Overworld. Of course, we got stuck with the shitty outcome. I thought, and I thought hard. The purple portal is what I usually used, so would that take me from The Nether to The Overworld. If so, then I'm guessing that the red coloured portal took me to Equestria... Satisfied with my logic, I looked towards the three girls. "I think we go through the red one," I spoke. "Wait, so you don't know?!" Twilight asked, astounded. "Of course he knew, right?" Rainbow Dash said, flying up to my side and nudging me with her shoulder. "Yeah," I uttered hesitantly, "of course..." "I guess we're mighty fine lucky that you're here to guide us around this crazy place, huh?" Applejack murmered, scared of angering another of the giant, floating jellyfish. "Yeah, totally," I said, thinking carefully about what came out of my mouth. Jumping back in fright, a large flash filled the caverns of The Nether, and illuminated the place like the sun would. Looking back towards the portal, I saw that the fabric of it had turned from red to purple. Hesitantly, I stepped inside... Only to be greeted face-first with a blaze. The blaze was a giant, floating being that you'd never want to meet alone. These little buggers will throw fireballs at you until you stop moving. The worst part? They can float. Once I realised what I was looking at, I sliced that little bitch right in the face with my diamond sword, causing a bright, fluorescent, yellow blood to pour from its wound. Seeing it conjure up a fireball, I sliced the being from head to toe with all of my might, causing it to give off a squelching sound as the two halves of its body fell apart from each other. Walking over towards the corpse, I looted what was left of its blood in a jar, and took its blaze rods as well. Those will come in real handy! But I'm forgetting the real reason I came here: Cuboid. Looking around for her, I saw that we were on a small chunk of land, surrounded by a huge fissure. Looking over into the distance towards my house, all that I saw was lava. I think I almost cried then, but I held the tears in and made my way around the small chunk of land. Sure enough, Cuboid was lying on the edge of the island by the portal. I rushed over and grabbed her, ignoring the three quizzical girls behind me. Looking back at the world, I feel that I died inside. The trees bore no leaves, and were completely dead, not a single patch of green in sight. The rivers and oceans visible from here didn't give a pure, crystal water, but instead gave a browny-black sludge. No wonder the trees were all dead. The sky was a musky greyish-brown, and held a darkish-red layer of clouds, that seemed to be hovering right above us. The grass was pretty much all dead, and the dirt was cracked and dry. The entire place looked like an apocalyptic wasteland... Something glinted in the distance, and I squinted to see just what it could have been. My vision adjusting, the first thing that I saw was two white, glowing eyes. I'm pretty sure that I had a panic attack after that. As soon as I saw him, I rushed through the portal like a mad-man, Cuboid still in my grasp, and collapsed unconscious... Why? Why, Herobrine? Opening my eyes, I saw that I was outside somewhere. Outside? That was good. The sun was round, meaning that this was probably Equestria, and that I wasn't dead yet. Herobrine... The name sickened me to the point of disbelief. Why must he continue to haunt me? "He's awake!" I heard someone shout. I pulled myself up off of the gravelly road, and onto my feet in an attempt to see my saviour. Of course, it was Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Twilight. It also looked as if Fluttershy had joined the party as well. Was she waiting here all of this time? "Hello!" I called, waving to the group of four, "What's up?" "Well..." Twilight began. This was going to be a long day... Again. I walked up my stairs, Cuboid in my arms. Upon coming home, I was greeted by a few of the ponies from this morning still floating around. Apparently Vinyl, Derpy and Colgate felt insecure at their places or something... Looking at the clock upon the wall at the top of the stairs, I saw that it was quarter-to-three. Damn. I must've been out for quite a while. Earlier Twilight asked me what had freaked me out. Naturally, I did the right thing: I ignored her. Placing the unconscious wolf on the bed, I summoned some water from my inventory and have Cuboid a sip. I wasn't allowed to do much, as Fluttershy acted as if she were a hospital ward around Cuboid. There wasn't much else interesting on that day. Cuboid was locked in my room until I went to bed, then Fluttershy took her, and lay her in a makeshift bed downstairs. The other three ponies, as well as the original six, wished to stay with me again tonight, and me being me, I accepted. So here we are, sleeping while zombies bash the doors down. I love life...
