This story is about a pegasus pony named Cloud Spark and how The Chaos Army tried to take over Equestria. The Chaos Army attack Equestria, but Cloud messed up their plans so they had to attack at a different time. The results of the battle ruined Cloud's life. Will Cloud defeat The Chaos Army and save millions of lives or will he fail?
It was a beautiful sunny day in Equestria. Cloud Spark, the pegasus pony was flying around for tail. His cutie mark was a yellow lightning bolt. Cloud was a nice stallion. He helps other no reason. Cloud Spark was a stallion with a really light grey skin color and a brown mane and ponies when they are in need. If they were sad, he would cheer them up. He was one of the nicest stallion a pony could know. Then he remember that he needed to get the things for his friends birthday party.
Cloud Spark headed to Surgarcube Corner to pick up a cake he ordered that was just finished today. He reached Surgarcube Corner and saw Mr. and Mrs. Cake.
"Is this the cake you ordered?" Mr. Cake asked.
"Yes, thank you," Cloud Spark replied.
"Your welcome. Have a nice day."
"You too."
Cloud Spark walked out of the bakery with the cake. "I like going to SurgarCube Corner," Cloud thought to himself. SugarCube Corner was one of Cloud Spark's favorite places to go. Cloud Spark went back to his house in Cloudsdale. He put the cake in the fridge to keep it cold so it doesn't go bad. He wanted the cake to be good for his best friend's birthday tomorrow. Cloud really wanted his friends to be happy on their birthday because it's a special day for them. Cloud was all done getting everything for his friend. It was time for Cloud to get some rest.
Cloud woke up the next morning feeling excited. He really wanted his friend to be happy. He worked really hard for his friend to have a good birthday. Cloud was suppose to go to his friends house at 5:00, but he told his friend he would be there earlier, so he could get everything ready. Cloud got everything ready and he went outside to get some fresh air.
"ah, this is gonna be a good day."
He look up at the light blue sky. He saw something. It look familiar. Very familiar. The sky started to turn purple. It wasn't a peaceful looking purple. He remembered the sky turning purple like this when he was a young colt and he couldn't fly yet. Chaos was coming.
"oh no. How could this be happening?" He thought to himself.
His friends birthday was ruined.
A evil pony named Chaos Flare was coming. He has returned again. Suddenly, a crack formed in the sky. It then opened up and pegasi looking creatures flew out of the crack, but they weren't pegasi. It was The Chaos Army. The creatures had shades of black on them. They also had purple flames on their body They also had sharp claws. It was as sharp as a dagger. Cloud could see the creatures heading in every direction. He could see some flying to Cloudsdale. Cloud quickly flew off his hooves and prepared to attack the beings of chaos.
He flew toward a creature. He punched it with his hoof. He took another punch at it. He grabbed the being of chaos and threw it down to the ground, making it take impact. Cloud fought more and more of the soldiers of chaos, winning every duel. He didn't see anymore attacking him. They were probably scared of him now, but Cloud was sneak attacked. One of the creature slashed him in the wing with great force, causing Cloud to fall. He kept trying to fly, but the chaos soldier damaged it. It might have been broken. He kept trying and trying, but it was no use. He couldn't fly.
Cloud starting to have a flashback of when he was younger. The Chaos Army attacked. His parents told him to stay in the house. His mom and dad started to fight the soldier, trying to protect Cloud. His parents were struggling. One of the soldiers were attacking his dad. Suddenly, Cloud dashed and tackled the chaotic creature. He started falling down bringing the creature down with him. He looked up at Cloudsdale as it got smaller, but while he was looking at Cloudsdale, he could see his dad flying down to save Cloud. His father caught him. He looked back up at Cloudsdale, but he started to cry. His mother was dead.
"DAD, LOOK OUT!" Cloud yelled.
A chaos soldier struck his dad in the back. His father was dead. The flashback ended. It felt exactly like that time except he was older and that his wing was damaged. It was like that moment all over again. Suddenly something was holding him. He look up and saw one of his friends: Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash was a Pegasus pony just like Cloud. She was a mare with a rainbow colored mane and tail. She had a cyan skin color and her cutie mark was a cloud .with a rainbow lightning bolt.
"Sorry I keep falling off a cloud," Cloud apologized to Rainbow.
"No need to apologize. You just couldn't fly." Rainbow told Cloud.
"Thanks Rainbow. If it wasn't for you, I would be dead."
Cloud fought off the creatures. More and more kept attacking. He continued fighting them off, but suddenly there was a loud noise and all of The Chaos Army went back into the crack in the sky. The crack closed and the sky went back to the normal blue color. There were injured ponies, damaged buildings, and even some holes in the ground. "Why today?! It was my friends birthday, but now its ruined! WHY!?" Cloud was very upset. He wished thing have gone better. RD came back to tell Cloud that they were gone, but she didn't know why they went.
"They probably wanted to finish the attack at a different time, but I don't know for sure."
"But first, why did they attack?" Rainbow Dash asked.
" They probably wanted to kill me because I stopped them last time they attack."
Cloud had a flashback of when The Chaos Army attacked. It was Clouds final flying test that day. It was Cloud's turn to take his test, but then the sky turned purple and a crack formed in the sky. The crack started spewing out the army. The teacher told everypony to follow her, but Cloud didn't listen to the teacher. He was brave and he attacked. He flew toward the crack and started fighting. He fought more and more of the creatures. He really helped Equestria that day. He fought many of the soldiers defeating everyone of them. The army was not match for him so they went back into the opening. Then the crack closed. The flashback was over.
"well, I got to get home. Just so you know, my wing feels a lot better now." Cloud told Rainbow.
"OK. It looks like I better get going too."
The two pegasi said bye to each other and flew off. Cloud took the normal route he always took to get home. Cloud Spark finally arrived at home, but where was his house? His house seemed to be destroyed. Now he couldn't give the cake to his friend, plus had no where to live. Cloud flew down to find a place that he will live. He found a dumpster that he could live in. It was near Vinyl Scratch's and Octavia's house. He would of bought another cake for his friend, but he lost all of his bits. That also meant, he couldn't buy a new house. live. He was now homeless.
"Why did this have to happen? WHY!?" Cloud said to himself.
Months past, Cloud was still living in the dumpster. His life was pointless now.
"why don't I just kill myself if my life is gonna be this way," Cloud said.
"Cloud, don't say that."
"Who is that" Cloud ask in a confused tone.
"I am your mother."
Cloud lifted his head up."But she's dead."
Cloud started looking around.
"That's because I am dead, but I can talk to you as my spirit. If you kill yourself, who would help everypony. I believe in you. So Cloud, don't kill yourself. Everypony needs you."
"OK mom. You are right, I shouldn't kill myself."
"Son, I was proud of you for what you did for us. You were brave enough to try and save your father and I, but I never got to tell you that when I died. Your father is proud of you too. Just don't forget us, OK?"
"OK" Cloud replied.
"I must go now, Cloud. Don't for get what I said."
"I wont," Cloud told his mother. Bye."
There was a silence for a while, but Cloud decide that he must get ready for the next attack.
Cloud Spark left the dumpster. He headed toward his best friends house. He finally arrived and he knocked on the door.
"I'll be right there," a pony said from inside.
Cloud saw the door open.
"Hi Sky Bolt," Cloud said.
"Hello Cloud" Sky Bolt responded.
"Sky, I just wanted to apologize that I didn't bring the cake and things.
"Cloud, it's not your fault. It's no ponies fault. Its The Chaos Army's fault. They are the ones who attacked.
"Yeah, but I would of brought the cake and things after the attack. Since my house is destroyed, I cant buy a new cake plus I have no where to live."
"Cloud you can live with me until you can get into a new house. And cloud, its OK. The only thing that matters is that we survived.
"Your right, Sky. It isn't my fault. Also, thanks for letting me live with you until I get a new house."
"Your welcome."
`Cloud walked into the house and had a seat. Cloud and Sky talk to each other about stuff. Cloud and Sky talked for awhile. Cloud turned his head and looked out the window.
"ON NO!"
"What is it Cloud?" Sky asked.
"The Chaos Army is back."
Cloud sprinted out the door and took off flying. He could see the chaotic soldiers attacking. Cloud raced up to one soldier and took him down. He fought more and more of the army obliterating everyone that made contact with him. He continued fighting. More and more kept coming up to him. He still defeated them, but he was under more pressure. A big mob flew toward him. He flew at the mob looking like a pro. WAM! He flew through the mob defeating most of that group. He fought one by one.
Cloud fought off the soldiers like they were weak little bugs.
"COME TO ME CHAOS ARMY!" a loud unpleasant voice commanded.
The Chaos Army flew to. Cloud look in a direction. at where they were going. It was the leader of The Chaos Army: Chaos Flare.
"Well, look who we have here." Chaos Flare said.
"I will not let you take over Equestria!" Cloud yelled.
"Oh really? I have an army plus i'm an alicorn. You won't defeat us. We are more powerful than you. We would kill you an an instant. Well, I got to continue taking over Equestria."
Cloud face had an angry look on it.
"Chaos Army, attack the Cloud scum and keep him out of my way"
The Chaos Army all rushed toward him. Cloud flew away from the army and tried to get Chaos Flare. He flew in the direction the Chaos leader was in. The army got closer and closer to him. Cloud could see the target, but Chaos he turned his head and shot a beam from his horn. Cloud got struck from the beam. "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Cloud shrieked in pain. He could still fly, but he was in bad pain. He tried to get away from the army. He turned his head and saw an army. At first Cloud thought,
"Is that another chaos army?"
but then he looked more closely and saw The Canterlot Army. "Thank Celestia" Cloud said to himself. The Canterlot Army started attacking The Chaos Army.
Since The Canterlot Army was fighting The Chaos Army, Cloud could go look for Chaos Flare. He flew really high up to see if he could see him. If he cloud him, he would need to be very quite and really stealthy so he can sneak attack him. He look around, but he didn't see anything. He turn around. There was Chaos Flare. Cloud was going to stay up this height and he will fly above Flare. Cloud kept following him wondering where he was going. He followed Chaos Flare, but it felt like he was gonna be following him forever.
Finally, Chaos Flare stopped at a plain. He heard Chaos Flare talking, but he couldn't understand what he was saying.
I must do this so Equestria will not be taken over by Chaos Flare." Cloud thought to himself.
Cloud Spark flew down toward Chaos. Chaos turned around and dodged Cloud.
"Looks like wanna be defeated." Chaos Flare said.
"I will defeat you. I will win!" Cloud yelled with confidence.
"Of course you will" Chaos Flare said in a sarcastic manner.
Chaos Flare shot a purple beam from his horn, but Cloud dodged it. Cloud flew up to Chaos, but he missed and Cloud was punched with great force. Cloud flew up into the sky.
"What's wrong you coward?" Chaos said while he followed Cloud.
Chaos shot more purple beams at Cloud, but he kept dodging them. Cloud kept flying up. Chaos shot rapid fire. Cloud kept dodging everyone of them. Cloud was now past the clouds. He stopped flying up. Chaos caught up with Cloud.
"Looks like the battle continues up here." Chaos said.
Cloud flew at Chaos and punched him.
"OOOFF!"
Cloud kept punching him.
"THAT'S IT!" Chaos screamed.
"YOU MUST REALLY WANT ME TO GO FULL MODE!" Chaos closed his eyes. He started to glow. Suddenly there was a huge flash. Cloud closed his eyes to shield his eyes. Cloud opened his eyes. Chaos Flare wasn't there anymore.
Instead the was a beast. It had sharp claws and teeth. It had a mane of purple fire and it also had a shield purple fire on its wings.
"This must of been his full mode."
The beast dash up to Cloud and slashed him with his claw.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Cloud cried.
He flew up higher into the sky. Cloud had a plan. He started flying up again. He kept flying up higher and higher while the beast tried to catch up to him. Cloud flew up continuously until he found a spot that for his plan. The beast was far enough for his plan to work. Cloud flew down to Chaos. He grabbed onto Chaos Flare and flew down toward the ground as fast as he could. Cloud pushed through all the pain he was going through.
"Cloud, you can do it" He thought to himself.
The beast struggled and struggle, but he couldn't escape. Cloud started to catch on fire as he went down.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"
Cloud hurt, but he knew that he had to do this for all of Equestria and for his friends. Cloud could see the ground getting closer and closer. Finally, Cloud hit the ground. BOOOMM! The purple in the sky started to fade away and the crack was sealed. The soldiers of The Chaos Army started to fade away too. The Chaos Army was gone, but somepony else was too.
Rainbow Dash saw the smoke at the plain so she decided to fly over to it to see what happened over there. Rainbow reached the destination and the smoke went away. She saw a crater.
"Cloud?"
She saw Cloud Sparks body laying in the crater.
"Yes, it's him." a voice behind her said.
RD turned around.
"Oh, its you ,Celestia."
"Cloud sacrificed his life to save millions of other lives. He was very brave." Celestia explain to Dash.
"I will miss him. He was a very good friend" RD told Celestia.
Tears started going down Rainbows face.
"It's OK Rainbow Dash. He's in a better place now. We all will miss him."
" Meet me at my castle. We will honor him there. RD and Celestia flew to the castle. Celestia gathered ponies there to come to a ceremony to honor Cloud. All of the ponies were gather in a room in the castle. Celestia walked on to the stage.
"I have gathered you here today to honor a great warrior. He sacrificed his life to save many other lives. We shall always remember what he has done for us. We will always remember Cloud Spark. Be cause of him, we are safe from The Chaos Army. Celestia announced to the audience
