Months after Defeating the Chaos Soldiers and Night Star, Rainbow was hoping for rest, but now they return and so has Mega Mare Dash!
Three Months pass since the defeat of the Chaos Soldiers. Now they have return and Rainbow Dash must take up her armor once more to stop them. It the return of Mega Mare Dash!
Here is the second Mega Mare Dash story. I sticking to the Mavericks from the game, and the story will be around Rainbow Dash fighting them. Last time, I base Rainbow upgrades for armor base off the picture, this time I might use the armor from the game. However, if any one wants they can send me a piece of their own armor for Rainbow. I'll place them in the same areas as the game.
And yes Night Star returns but, like before she doesn't show until near the end. Oh, and same cast as before.

It been three months since the defeat of the Chaos Soldiers and the sight of Mega Mare Dash. Stories was told that Mega Mare Dash now rest some where in Equestria, waiting for the Chaos Soldiers to return. Some Ponies say that Mega Mare Dash was a Chaos Soldier that betray her leader and started to save them to get away from her past. Others say that she appear out of the blue and started fighting the Chaos Soldiers because she was chasing them through out Equestria. Of course, those were stories.
Only Rainbow Dash knew were Mega Mare Dash came from. That because she is Mega Mare Dash. Three months ago, Rainbow Dash walk in her room and hit a hidden button that show a Pegasus with a Rainbow mane and tail. His name was Rainbow Chaser, her Great-great-grandfather. Learning that all of Equestria was under a threat that the Elements of Harmony couldn't stop, Rainbow Chaser gave Rainbow Dash the Mega Mare Armor to protect her home.
Rainbow Dash soon learn about the Chaos Soldiers and a new team that was standing against them, The Harmony Protceters. Rainbow herself was apart of the team. She became a full member after stop the leader of the Chaos Soldiers, Night Star. Sadly, Rainbow also discover that Night Star was Rainbow Chaser wife and her great-great-grandmother.
Knowing that Night Star will return, she ready herself for the next attack. As time pass, Rainbow's armor lost all the upgrades, but kept the dash ability. Rainbow continue to wear the armor, but now only for training. Rainbow Dash look over her home. She was glad her home was safe, but was also looking out for the return of the Chaos Soldiers.
Then one day they did reappear.
"Rainbow Dash! There be a sighting of the Chaos Soldiers!" A voice said in her ear.
Thanks to learning about new ways to talk to the members of the Harmony Protceters, Rainbow was able learn where the Chaos Soldiers were without listen over other ponies.
"Where are they?" Rainbow ask ready for action.
"There a building that making them not far from Ponyville, might how some of them reach there." The voice said.
"Ok! I'm on my way, does Spitfire know?" Rainbow said then ask.
"Yes, She on her way there now." the voice answer.
"Good! I be there and stop those Chaos Soldiers in ten second flat." Rainbow said before flying off.
Incoming Mission...Stop the return of the Chaos Soldiers
Ready? Start!
Rainbow flew to the ground and look at the building that had Chaos Soldiers. Some Harmony Protceters were all ready there and fighting them off. Rainbow ran up to the Green Armor pony and said, "Status report!"
"We try to get in and stop many as we can before you and Zerofire show up, But it looks likes they knew we were coming and pin us down." He said.
"Any luck on seeing a way in pass them?" Rainbow ask.
"They are blocking the only way in. We are going to have to fight are way in...AHG!" He said again before he was hit on his shoulder and fell.
"Pony down!", Rainbow call out, "PONY DOWN!"
Two more armor ponies took the Green Armor pony away and Rainbow turn to the building again.
"Well, didn't do all that training for noting! Time for Mega Mare Dash to make her return, MEGA MARE ARMOR ON!" Rainbow said before shouting.
A light surround Rainbow Dash and fade away after a few seconds. In no time Mega Mare Dash stood in her place. Rainbow ready her Buster and said to two more armor ponies, "Cover me! I'm going in!"
They nods and started firing at the Chaos Soldiers. Rainbow ran and dash forward taking down Chaos Soldiers as she did. Rainbow soon reach the building and destroy the guard and walk inside the building.
"Mega Mare Dash is in the building!" Rainbow said smiling.
Rainbow ran forward taking down Chaos Soldiers as she did again. She destroy a few small Chaos Soldiers and some Chaos Soldiers that try to block her path. Rainbow kept blasting them until they were destroy. She was having a easy time going through, looks like this place was just started up so there wasn't many Chaos Soldiers except outside.
Rainbow move across the area and soon came to a place that show Chaos Soldiers being build. Rainbow ran over the area and soon reach the end that had a big pit over it.
"How am I going to get across here? My wings are inside the armor and there no way a dash jump will work...WHOA!" Rainbow said before she was pick up and threw to the wall.
Good thing she did all those flying tricks, because she was able to move her hooves in front of her and land on the wall safely. She started to slide down slowly but wall jump back up until she spotted a ladder. She grab it and climb up. As soon as she reach the top she saw a droid that flew away from her. Rainbow look after it confuse before noticing the walls were closing in.
Rainbow waste no time in wall jumping as fast as she can. In no time Rainbow reach the top and saw the droid pulling the walls together.
"I now know not to stand around after seeing a new creature that are apart of the Chaos Soldiers." Rainbow said and turn away from it and walk to a ledge and look down.
She saw a door that she seen in the past, The Boss Door. Looks like she made it to the Chaos Soldiers leader. Rainbow drop down and enter the door, she drop some more until she landing on a platform. Rainbow look around until she heard some behind her. She turn around and saw a giant robot that eyes glow as it look at her.
Rainbow ready herself as the giant robot rise it ball spike hand and try to crush her, which is she dodge by the way. Rainbow fire at the body but her shots boucle off. Rainbow dash away as the other spike ball hand slam down. Rainbow knew attack the body was useless and same with the hands. There was only one option left, The head.
Rainbow charge her buster and jump on a higher platform and fire at the head, It work. Rainbow dodge the hands again and use another charge shot on it head. Rainbow did it two more times and the giant robot stop moving. It started to flicker before exploding. Rainbow teleport out of the building and next to the Harmony Protectors.
Zerofire was busy helping the rest of the team keeping the Chaos Soldiers at bay, when she saw the building started to blow.
"Take cover!" She order and the group dive behind rocks and the building blew up.
A lone blue beam shot into the air and landed next to Zerofire and turn into Mega Mare Dash.
"Heh! They couldn't stand up to me. Once inside it was too easy to get through." She said smiling crossing her hooves.
"Nice Work Dash, Now we can rest a bit easier." Zerofire said.
Rainbow nods and ask about the wounded. Zerofire said that some of them was hurt but with back-up she brought they were able to stop them.
Meanwhile in a hidden lab, three shadows watch as Mega Mare Dash travels alone into their factory and stop their work.
"This is the one that defeat our Master. Her name is Mega Mare Dash." said the first.
"She had to easy that time, next time we wouldn't be nice." said the second.
"Now, now, We still need to know how she can defeat our master, after all we are to study about her." The third spoke up.
"Yes, once we know how strong she is, we will get our chance." The First said again as they all look at the image of Mega Mare Dash.
Sometime after destroying the building that had the Chaos Soldiers, Rainbow decide to head to Canterlot Castle as Mega Mare Dash to warn the Princesses about the return of the Chaos Soldiers. She teleport in the castle and look up at the two guards who were surprise to see her. They knew who she was however.
"Mega Mare Dash! It been a long time." One of them said.
"Yes, I'm here to warn the Princesses about the Chaos Soldiers return." Rainbow said masking her voice, which she started to call her mega voice.
The guards were surprise to hear the Chaos Soldiers name. They knew the Chaos Soldiers were dangerous and were not to be taking lightly. They move aside and Rainbow enter the throne room were Celestia was talking to Twilight.
"It is strange, an explosion appear few miles away from Ponyville was seen and I don't know what cause it." Twilight said.
"That is strange, but there has to be a reason." Celestia said thinking about it.
"That was me." Rainbow spoke up in her mega voice.
Twilight turn and her eyes widen on the sight of Rainbow Dash's armor.
"Mega Mare Dash!" She said in shock.
"Mega Mare Dash, it been a long time since we saw you." Celestia said surprise as well.
"Yes, I know. The reason why I'm the one that cause the explosion is because the Chaos Soldiers might be returning." Rainbow explain.
"The Chaos Soldiers?!" Twilight shouted.
Celestia was just as surprise.
"Yeah, You should warn everypony about them, that way we can avoid panic." Rainbow said.
"Yes of course." Celestia said.
"What about you?" Twilight ask.
Before Rainbow could answer, a beep was heard from her helmet. Rainbow tap the side of her helmet and spoke into it.
"This is Mega Mare Dash, what's the problem?" She said.
"Dash, a Chaos Soldier has been spotted in an abandoned weather factory." A voice said.
"In a cloud?" Rainbow ask to make sure.
"No this factory was built by Earth Ponies a long time ago for Pegasi but, it became abandoned when they started using clouds." The voice explain.
"Uh, Alright I'm on my way." Rainbow said and remove her hoof.
She turn back to Twilight and Celestia, who both had a surprise look on their face.
"What was that?" Twilight ask.
"I'm a member of the Harmony Protectors. I got a call telling me that a Chaos Soldier has been spotted." Rainbow explain.
"Hm, I see.", Celestia said, "We will leave you to stop the Chaos Soldier." Celestia said leaving Twilight a little confuse.
Rainbow nods and teleport out of the castle.
Incoming Mission...Search for the Chaos Soldier and stop him.
Ready? Start!
Rainbow appear in the Abandoned Factory and look around. She was able to spot trees around the place and a few buildings.
"Guess I better look around for that Chaos Soldier." Rainbow said to herself.
Rainbow ran through the Weather Factory and saw it was indeed almost like a Weather Factory from Cloudsdale only on the ground.
"Hm, this place does look like a Weather Factory. Now, where that Chaos Soldier?" Rainbow said as she look around.
Rainbow step outside and saw she was in a field of some shorts. She saw a Chaos Creature, which she started to spit from the new Chaos Soldiers, that look like a frog. She easily got ride of it and move on. Once she reach an orb the area suddenly became very hot. Luckily Rainbow armor protect her from the heat and move on. Rainbow destroy more Chaos Creatures until she reach another area that became a rainy weather.
"Hm, I think the Chaos Soldier is casing this. But I don't think it a Pegasus." Rainbow said as she walk on.
Rainbow saw floated platforms and an area above her. She look down and saw the floor was fill with spikes. Knowing her armor was not spike-poof she took the higher route destroying the Chaos Creatures as she went through. Rainbow enter another room and she saw a platform that rose up on it on. After another one appear, She jump on and rode up fighting Chaos Creatures as she did. After reaching the top, and getting off before it hit the spikes, Rainbow saw that the area chance again. This time to a storm.
"Whoever this Chaos Soldier is, it going to need a few pinpoints on how to control the weather and I'm just the mare to do that." Rainbow said and push though the area.
She reach the next area and as she went through, it mix with all the weathers she be though. Sunny, Rainy, and Stormy. Like it was trying to stop her but, with little effect. She reach the main building and walk inside. She climb a few ladders and fought some more Chaos Creatures. She then saw a new Chaos Creature that look like a scorpion and fire at her from it claws. Rainbow duck and fire a charge shot. It then try to attack Rainbow with it tail but Rainbow roll out of the way. She fire another charge destroy it. She soon come to the boss doors.
"Heh, This area was to easy to get pass. I don't even need to check my energy because I haven't been hit once." Rainbow said and walk though the doors, charging her buster.
Once she enter the room it remind her of String Chameleon's place only inside a weather factory. She soon saw something come from the ceiling. It look like a plant with feet and hands holding on what looks like some kind of triple arrow heads.
"AH, You must be Mega Mare Dash, the Pony that defeated our Leader Night Star." It said.
"Heh, That me. But you know, I was expecting of a Chaos Soldier it be more weather base. You just a plant." Rainbow said.
"I am Wire Sponge! I will use the weather to cause chaos on this land before spreading it all over this word." He said.
"Your not spreading anything Wire Sponge. Not if I got something to say about it." Rainbow said and ready for battle as her mind shout, WARNING! WARNING!
Wire Sponge try to jump on her, but Rainbow dash out of the way. She turn and fire her charge shot as soon as he lands. He then spin his weapon around him acting like a shield. To test if this was true, Rainbow fire a shot and saw it boucle off. She nods knowing to wait until he lower it. But didn't except him to throw it like a chain. She was knock back as the top hit her. If she wasn't wearing her armor, then it would have stab into her skin and pull her back to Wire Sponge, instead she was knock back. She stood up to see Wire Sponge threw his chain to the ceiling and started to rise up. As he did, the flower on his head started spiting seeds that grew into what look like weeds to her.
Rainbow blast the weeds and even got a few shots on Wire Sponge. He drop back down and look to be really mad.
"THAT IT! FEEL MY RAGE!" He said and Rainbow watch as he turn red.
Rainbow try to shoot him but her shots boucle off. He then fire a thunderbolt into the air and one hit him covering him in electric. Another one struck Rainbow and she fell back. Another one come towards her but she dash out of the way and charge her shot again. As the battle went on Rainbow could see that Wire Sponge only has three to four attack. Rising to the ceiling, making weeds grow as he did, when on the ground, he use one of his chains to act like a shield before throwing it, trying to jump on her, which she easily dodge, and from time to time use his rage attack. To Rainbow the fight past in a blur.
"That was too easy. The only attack I was worry about was your rage attack." Rainbow said as Wire Sponge stop moving.
"GRRR! What are you? You not a pony at all." Wire Sponge ask.
"Yes, I'm a pony. A Pony that was giving this armor to protect all of Equestria." Rainbow said.
"Curse you! Our master will...will..." Wire Sponge try to say before he exploded.
"Master? Wait! NIGHT STAR!" Rainbow ask then shouted.
Night Star, the Leader of the Chaos Soldiers and Rainbow's Great-great-grandmother. Rainbow fought Night Star before and saw her castle explode with her in it. Rainbow was sadden on what her great-great grandmother had become all because she try to find out who try to steal her armor long ago. This was something she doesn't just need to report to HQ about. No, the Princesses need to know as well.
Rainbow check her buster as saw she got a new weapon.
"Weapon Get! Strike Chain!" It said.
Rainbow nods and teleports back to Canerlot Castle.
Rainbow appear in the castle and told the guards she had to see the princesses right away. They told her that they were in a meeting and had to wait.
"I don't have time to wait! It possible that the Chaos Leader has return!" Rainbow told them.
The Guards knew about Night Star as well. Celestia and Luna were once used by her and they let Rainbow go to the meeting to warn the Princesses.
Celestia sat in her chair with Luna next to her. The meeting was slow and most ideas she hear was just plain silly but make a little sense. Having some more ax's to defend themselves. From what she decide not to ask. Having a plan to ensure that attacks will never rise the dead, which she found just plain silly. But there was one question that she hated more than others.
"When are we going to catch Mega Mare Dash?" An Red Pegasus with an orange mane and tail with a fire cutie mark.
"Smoke Fire, I told you before, Mega Mare Dash is not like the Chaos Soldiers. She fight against them, not with them." Celestia said.
"And you forget that she save both my and Celestia lifes when the leader invade the castle." Luna added.
"She could have done that to grain your trust and if she get too much power then she could over run us and start a new Chaos Soldiers group." Smoke Fire said.
"Like that will ever happen." Said a new voice.
Everypony turn and saw Mega Mare Dash walk into the room. Smoke Fire wanted to arrest her right then and there but knew he couldn't do that since the Princesses were there.
"Mega Mare Dash? What bring you here?" Luna ask.
"Sorry for uninvited visit but I have some news for you. I just learn something about the Chaos Soldiers." She said.
"What is it?" Another pony ask.
"It could be possible that Night Star, the Leader of the Chaos Soldiers, is still alive." Mega Mare Dash said.
That shock all the ponies in the room, even the Princesses.
"Are you sure?" Celestia ask.
"Yes, but I'm not fully sure yet. I came here to warn you that it is possible. Don't want the castle to fall under their control again." She answer.
Celestia nods. Warning her was the best idea incase any enemy does return. Night Star was an Alicorn like her and her sister but her heart was fill with darkness. She could also feel that Night Star and Mega Mare Dash were connected some how, but didn't question it.
"How do we know your not trying to take over the castle yourself?" Smoke Fire ask.
"You'll be wise to hold your tongue Smoke Fire. Me and Celestia have seen Night Star ourselves." Luna said.
"Yes, she even use us to fight Mega Mare Dash. We also knew she only fought back to free us." Celestia said.
Smoke Fire sat back not believe the Princesses were defending a mare that could be dangerous.
"I already report to the Harmony Protceters about this so we are on alert as well." She said.
Smoke Fire eyes widen. So she did have some behind the scenes, now all her had to do was find their base and expose their true plan.
"Thank you Mega Mare Dash. We'll be on guard." Celestia said.
Mega Mare Dash bow before teleporting out of the castle shocking all but the Princesses.
"How did she do that?" One ask.
"That armor was built by a pegasus long ago. It was met for his son but somepony try to steal long ago. He hid it away and it was never found until Mega Mare Dash appear." Luna said remembering the letters that Mega Mare Dash gave them.
"Who was the Pegasus that build the armor she was wearing?" another Pony ask.
"Rainbow Chaser." Celestia said.
I don't care if Rainbow Chaser made that armor or not! Mega Mare Dash is a threat, and with the armor she wearing she could easily take over Equestria unless she is stop. Smoke Fire thought as the Princesses ending the meeting.
Deep in a room, the three Shadows watch as Mega Mare Dash spoke to the Princesses and saw how Smoke Fire was cold towards her.
"It appears we are not the only ones trying to stop Mega Mare Dash." The first shadow said.
"Yes, Wire Sponge foolish slip out part of our plan but she said herself she was unsure." The second said.
"We need to get Smoke Fire in on our plans without him knowing. He can buy us time until the plan is ready." The third added.
They all nod. They knew who was going to be send next. Even if Mega Mare Dash beat him, she will have to deal with them.
Everypony couldn't believe it. Night Star defeated Mega Mare Dash, an Harmony Protector and savor of Equestria. The pile of rocks stood there as if it was mocking them of their hero defeated. Night Star look at the pile of rocks and chuckle before laughing out loud. She did it, she defeated her Great-great-granddaughter. Shame she couldn't join her, but at least she won't be in her way anymore. Her laughter was cut off by one voice.
"SHUT UP!!!" It said surprising everypony.
Night Star turn and saw that Scootaloo was angry at her with tears in her eyes.
"Shut up! That not funny! You don't have the right to laugh! Mega Mare Dash was protecting us and you kill her, what so funny about that?!" Scootaloo shouted.
"Yeah, What so funny about killing another pony? If ya pay attention she was one of us as you are!" Apple Bloom shouted as well.
"You no more then a meanie! I don't understand how taking a life of another is funny!" Sweetie yell tears in her eyes too.
"Hpm, I offer her a chance to join me but she refuse. I never wanted to, but she left me no choice." Night Star said as her giant body turn to face them.
"You don't care about other life!", Fluttershy shouted, "you care about yourself only! You have no Kindness!
"You don't even care about other ponies that get hurt in your attacks!", Rarity said, "you are the worst pony we could meet and Mega Mare Dash has show us more Generosity then you have!"
"You think killing and hurting others is FUNNY?!" Pinkie yell, "you don't even understand Laughter!"
"Ya lie to yourself and others." Applejack added, "you have no Honesty in ya!"
"You will never get the power of the Elements of Harmony!", Twilight shouted, "I use to think Mega Mare Dash was one of the Chaos Soldiers but now I know she not. She our friend and we will stop you!"
Night Star look at them and laugh once more.
"Then try it. I love to see what you got." Night Star said and got ready to attack them.
Before the fight could even happen, the pile of rocks started to move. Everypony turn back to the pile and watch as two huge rocks was push apart showing a pony was alive. But they all gasp on who they saw.
Her armor was mostly destroy, only her left bottom and upper hooves was back in it blue color. Her body armor was half destroy show her right wing. Her helmet was also gone, showing her rainbow mane. They watch as she climb down the pile and lift her head so everypony could see her face.
"Rainbow Dash?! You're Mega Mare Dash?!" The Mane 5 and CMC shouted.
The Princesses was just as surprise. Rainbow form her buster and aim it at Night Star. She was baldy hurt, but she wasn't going to let her win.
"This isn't over Night Star. Not by a long shot!" Rainbow said.
A few hours after the last attack Rainbow appear in the Harmony Protectors HQ to talk about the returning Chaos Soldiers. She reach the Command Room and spotted Spitfire and Soarin going over the new arrive Chaos Soldiers.
"I don't understand how they can return. Rainbow Dash defeated their leader months ago." Soarin said confusion.
"The Chaos Soldiers has a lot of mystery around them. Still if we know what it is they are after we might be able to stop them." Spitfire said.
"I do." Rainbow said as she walk up.
She sat down and explain.
"Before joining the Harmony Protectors, I was dealing with them on my own and one of them told me that they were after the Elements of Harmony." She said making a few ponies gasp.
"Why them?" One pony ask.
"Think about, what is this team name and what are the most powerful items in Equestria?" Rainbow ask back.
"I see, but if I recall Princess Celestia has them lock up." Spitfire said knowing that the Chaos Soldiers can't get them.
"True, but they are going after the next thing, The Barers." Rainbow said remembering the time all her friends was caught by a Chaos Soldier.
"Who are the barers?" Soaring ask.
"You're looking at one of them.", Rainbow said making the group gasp again, "the other are my friends but Rainbow Chaser told me not to tell anypony about my armor until I feel that time is right."
"I see, is the princess warn about this?" Soarin said then ask.
"Yes, I told her as Mega Mare Dash." Rainbow said.
Before more could be talk about the Chaos Soldiers and their plans, a loud red light cover the room. Everypony got up and ran to their places. Soarin was the first to find it.
"We got something, it looks to be a giant alligator." He said.
"Where is it heading?" Spitfire ask.
Soarin was shock on what he was reading and said, "Toward Ponyville."
Rainbow eyes shrink when she heard that.
"How long before it reach there?" She ask, knowing that she has to stop it.
"About five to ten minutes, tops!" Soarin said.
"Ok, everypony suit up! We are going to take that thing down. Rainbow Dash, you will head inside and take out the leader, the rest of use will do what we can to stop that thing." Spitfire order.
"HARMONY PROTECTORS!!!" The armor Ponies shouted.
"NEVER SURRENDER!!!" The the rest shouted.
Rainbow and Spitfire turn toward each other and nods.
"Fire Armor on!" Spitfire shouted and turn into Zerofire.
"Mega Mare Armor on!" Rainbow shouted and turn into Mega Mare Dash.
Soon the Harmony Protectors was on their way to stop the Chaos Soldiers and save Rainbow's home.
In coming Mission...
Stop the giant alligator before it reach Ponyville.
Ready? Start!
The Harmony Protectors appear near the feet of the giant robotic alligator and started to fire all attacks on it. Zerofire and a few Armor Ponies scan it for any weak points. Zerofire knew with them attacking the machine, Mega Mare Dash will have no problem getting it.
Rainbow appear on top of the machine seeing that Spitfire plan had work. She walk cross the top before hearing an alarm. She soon sees a blue hatch and it release some Chaos Creatures shape like birds. Rainbow act by shooting them down and destroy the hatch. But she saw that the hatch was not the way in.
"Huh, guess I got to look for another way in." Rainbow said and move on.
She soon found a way in and walk inside and saw that it was cover in tons of wires and metal that will make Twilight crazy. Rainbow chuckle at the thought know that Twilight would love seeing this, only if it wasn't control by a Chaos Soldier. Rainbow ran through and destroy more of the Chaos Creatures. She climb down two ladders and then walk through a hallway before spotted an hole above her.
"Hm, what up there?" Rainbow ask and dash jump to the wall.
She try to dash jump to the other wall but hit the smaller wall instead. She try again and again for a while but was having no luck.
"Hm, there got to be something." Rainbow thought and look at her weapons.
She notice the only weapon she had was Strike Chain. Rainbow near that chains act like a line between two different ponies. The chain can be use to pull something toward you. She remember what happen in her fight with Wire Sponge. When Wire Sponge use the same weapon and it hit a wall, he was drag toward it. Maybe she can too. She turn it on and all the light blue turn white as the blue turn purple. Rainbow jump dash to the wall again and try again to reach the other, she got the smaller wall and slid down. She move forward and shot her Strike Chain out and got the wall. She was pull toward it and place her hooves in front of her. Once she hit the wall, she wall jump up and and soon found a capsule. She walk up to it and Rainbow Chaser appear.
"Rainbow Dash, I had a strong feeling that the threat was not over and place more upgrades around Equestria. You might have notices that my prevision upgrades had fade away over time but it appear that you kept the dash ability. This Capsule hold the Buster upgrade. Rainbow step in and soon was cover in a glow. She heard a sound like thunder and look a her upper hooves. Unlike the last ones, her gloves was red and her upper part of her legs was white with a blue line near her hooves. Rainbow form her buster and saw that it was white as well. The end part of her buster was blue like her last one and it had red on the bottom, stopping short of her leg. She also had a scope on her buster that had some blue on the end. Like the last up-grade buster it had a gem on it only yellow inside of red.
Rainbow step off and charge her Buster. Like before it show signs of charging and soon the third level charge shot was show. Rainbow fire her left buster and it shot up four narrow blast that curve from her buster. Her right hoof turn into a buster with the same look and she fire that one as well. The shot look like her normal charge shot but bigger. Rainbow knew once again is had to find all the parts in order to have a fully upgrade armor.
She drop back down and soon continue through the robotic alligator. She reach a hallway that had spikes on the floor and a floated platform over them. Rainbow step on them and they made her float over the spikes without any problems. She reach the other end and saw some ponies dress in blue and green armor and with a shield. However, Rainbow knew these weren't real ponies, just Chaos Creatures that look like them. Rainbow decide on calling them Chaos Ponies. She fire an charge shot and the shield it had was knock into the sky. Rainbow quickly fire and destroy it before the shield come down. Rainbow destroy another Chaos Pony and walk down in a room that had Walking Armors, but a lot different then the last one she use. There was spikes that replace the first and two long poles that like close to wings.
"Hm, they must be using these when they attack Ponyville. Time to turn the tables on them." Rainbow said before she smile.
She jump in and started to move it around and punch the wall behind her that had tank next to it. It was destroy and the hold room started to blow. Rainbow use the armor to walk through hole and drop down on a ledge that had Chaos Creatures waiting for her. Thanks to the new Walking Armor, Rainbow plow through them, fighting a few Chaos Ponies in their own Walking Armor before reaching a ladder. She jump out and started to walk through another hallway before reaching another floating platform. This one took her up meeting a Chaos Pony along the way. Rainbow reach the top and got off and saw another floating platform. Rainbow step on it and was carry across and attack by the Chaos Birds, luckily a few shots from her buster took them down quick. She reach the end and got off. She walk through another hallway before seeing a platform that take her up. She went up it meeting more Chaos Ponies. She reach the top and started to climb up a few ledges before seeing another blue hatch.
Rainbow took that one out with a few level two charge shots and move on util she was outside. More Chaos Creatures try to stop her but Rainbow fire through them and started to climb on to the 'head' of the gator. Rainbow found an opening and went inside. She drop down to another room that had a Chaos Creature and the Boss door. Rainbow had a bit of trouble destroying the Chaos Creature in her way but she was able to get it out of the way. She enter the boss door and check her energy and weapons.
"Hm, a little damage through this whole trip and beside use the Strike Chain once, I'm ready to fight." Rainbow said and walk through the other door.
She drop down and slash into a red liquid she had no clue what it was at first until she smell it.
"Oil? Why is this room fill with oil?" Rainbow ask.
She soon spotted something move in the oil and form her buster. Rainbow watch as the Chaos Solider jump out of the Oil and it look just like an Alligator. Rainbow was familiar with Alligators thanks to Pinkie pet, but she can tell that this one had teeth unlike Gummy.
"Well, well, if it isn't Mega Mare Dash." It said.
"So you heard of me?' Rainbow ask it.
"Of Course, the Chaos Soldiers call you the Chaos Destroy and many dream of destroy you." It answer.
"They are welcome to try. I don't go easily." Rainbow said ready to fight.
"Well then, I don't go down easily either. Let the name Wheel Gator snap you into two!" It said as Rainbow mind shouted WARNING!, WARNING!
Wheel Gator drive until the oil and Rainbow remain still waiting for a sign of his attack. She spotted a wheel with blades coming at her and she jump out of the way. She watch it travel up the wall and the ceiling before dropping back down in the oil. Rainbow look around before noticing that being in the oil was a mistake on her part. Wheel Gator jump out and clam his claws around her before sinking back into the oil. Rainbow could feel the teeth trying to rip through her armor and she started to fight back. But the grip was too strong. Then Rainbow got an idea, she place her buster in the oil and fire a second level charge shot the force Wheel Gator to let go.
Rainbow jump away from her spot and held up her buster once more. The oil started to move and Rainbow jump on the wall and went as high as she can so Wheel Gator couldn't reach her. She saw the wheel blades again and dash jump over them to dodge them. However she was so close to the oil, that Wheel Gator jump out and bit her once again. Rainbow was drag in the oil again and felt Wheel Gator trying to rip her apart. Doing the same thing before, she place her buster in the oil and fire a second level charge shot that force Wheel Gator to let her ago.
"Agh! Just two bites and my legs feel weak. I need to stop him. I don't know how much time is left before this thing reach Ponyville." Rainbow said before wall jumping up the wall to dodge another wheel blade. She remain high in the wall and open her weapons. She select Strike Chain and jump over Wheel Gator after her jump out of the oil to gram Rainbow. Rainbow land and and turn and fire, hitting Wheel Gator. Wheel Gator drove under the Oil again and Rainbow got his pattern down.
Shot one or two wheel blades and jump out the oil to bit her. Jump off the wall and hit with the Strike Chain. Rinse and repeat. Soon the last shot did it. Wheel Gator stop moving as Rainbow lower her buster.
"How did you beat me?!" He ask.
"Simple, you had a pattern that I can follow. Once I got it down, you where easy to fight." Rainbow said smiling.
"Agh! You may stop me but the Chaos Soldiers will not stop until you are destroy!" Wheel Gator said before his body was destroy.
"As I say, I don't go down easy.' Rainbow said and and check her buster to see the words, Weapon Get! You Got Spin Wheel!
Rainbow place her hoof on her ear and contact Zerofire.
"Zerofire, this is Mega Mare Dash. I stop the Chaos Soldier in charge and it looks like I made it in time." She said.
"Nice work Dash, we are coming here to plant some bombs to destroy this thing. Go home and get some rest. We'll contact you when we need you." Zerofire voice came in.
"Roger that." Rainbow said before striking a victory position and teleporting out of the robotic alligator.
Meanwhile in the unknown location...
The Three Shadows watch as Mega Mare Dash defeated Wheel Gator.
"Now I see why Night Star fell to the hooves of Mega Mare Dash. She is powerful but blind to what happening around her." The first Shadow spoke.
"This bad. We need more time to finish our master plan." The second Shadow said.
"Then we will crush her!' The third shadow said pounding his hooves together.
"No.", A fourth shadow spoke, "Leave her be. I'll fight her."
"Are you sure my mistress? Your wounds are not yet fully heal." The First Shadow spoke as all three bow to the fourth.
"I'm well aware of my condensation. But she is family, I want her to know that I'm back." The fourth said.
"But with the way she fighting off the Chaos Soldiers, she will find you before you recover." The Third Shadow said.
"Then get that general to slow her down. Once it time, then we will fight again." The Fourth Shadow said.
"Of course, mistress." The Second Shadow spoke and they all took their leave.
The Fourth Shadow turn back to the view the other shadows was watching.
"Rainbow Dash, you have gotten stronger since the the last time we met. One Day we will met again. Until then Stay alive my Great-great-granddaughter." It said before walking away.
Rainbow appear back in Ponyville after taking off her armor and was on her way to met her friends. Once Rainbow saw them she call out to them.
"Hey girls!" She said.
"Hi Rainbow! Where have you been?" Pinkie call back.
"Just taking care of some busies." Rainbow answer and land on the ground.
She notice that her back hooves was having trouble stay up straight, but she got them still and try to walk forward. The others notice that Rainbow was having trouble walking straight and they decide to ask her.
"Rainbow are you ok?" Twilight ask.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Rainbow said blowing it off, but when she went to take another step, the lost her balance once more.
"Fine, my flank.", Applejack said, "Really Rainbow Dash, what's wrong?"
Rarity walk closer to Rainbow and saw something near her mid-section that made her gasp.
"Are those teeth marks?!" Rarity gasp.
The others ran to her before Rainbow could even answer. She look and saw them too. She guess that Wheel Gator teeth was able to get through her armor and get her fur coat. God thing it wasn't deep or she'll really be in trouble.
"Rainbow what happen. What busies was you taking care of?" Twilight ask.
"Well, I was running a errand for Spitfire when I got lost in the Everfree Forest. I had a run in with an alligator and it was able to get it jaws on me. Before it could bite me too bad, I use my back hooves and buck the mouth open and flew to the shy as fast as I could." Rainbow said stretching the truth a bit.
Ok, maybe more the a bit Rainbow added in thought.
"It appear that it got you twice from the walk you were walkin'." Applejack said.
"Come on Rainbow, we better wrap the bite marks up. We don't want them to get infected." Twilight said.
"But Twilight..."Rainbow said before she cut her off.
"No buts Rainbow Dash. We are going to help you help up a little." Twilight said.
"Yeah, after all it what Mega Mare Dash would do if she found you hurt." Pinkie said.
Rainbow sigh in defeated but knew they had a point. She would have taking care of her injures if she was hurt.
"And beside, we heard that she is back and protecting Equestria again. She is our friend and we'll help in any way." Twilight added.
"Thanks girls, I'm sure Mega Mare Dash will love to heard that." Rainbow said and walk with her friends to take care of her bite marks.
