> Fall of Equestria > by King Tsunami > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Prologue > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The dark, blue maned colt cried, when the doctor held him, "How is he" asked Tsunami. The doctor replied "He's a healthy colt," Tsunami sighed and made the mistake of closing his eyes for one second to relax, and the doctor was gone with the colt when he opened his eyes. Tsunami yelled at the guards to come in the room, but it was too late, the doctor was gone and never to return. The guards broke in the room, fully armed to see what happened, but all they saw was the window opened and Tsunami crying on the floor. The guards pulled him up on his hooves and called the advisers to set the empire into lock-down. "H-he's gone," Tsunami exclaimed as he continues to cry. The guards tried to calm down, but he was to focused on the teddy bear that he was going to give to his son. The advisers contacted all of the empires in the family to be on high alert, Tsunami continued to cry as a flame sparked in his brain. Ten years later, the search hasn't stopped, Tsunami was more calm, and ready to find any evidence. Miles away, Metro was being taught by changelings, as a fire spy watched from the window. "Bravo has found the target," The fire red scout said to an unresponsive radio, not noticing the changeling guard behind him. The guard grabbed the scout, and knocked him out with a choke hold. The changeling teleported him to a random area but didn't notice that he teleported the scout in front of Tsunami. Tsunami smiled as he found the first clue, hinting that his son was alive. "Send in both alpha teams in the area the scout was in," Tsunami ordered the advisers as he moved towards the balcony. The advisers followed orders, and sent the orders to alpha team via radio. Alpha team received the orders, and began moving to the designated area, unknowingly being followed by changeling scouts. The changelings took down the team's numbers, one by one, until the captain was left standing. "What do you want?" the injured captain questioned the changelings as the changelings surrounded him but then the changelings tackled him. The changelings took all the technology the team had, and sent it to the queen for reverse engineering. At the time it was a good idea the changelings thought, but they don't know what the punishments will be about the technology. > The Combine > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Metro grew to a healthy 19 year old, beginning the start of a new age. Metro ran through the hive trying to find Chrysalis, questioning every changeling he passed to find her. Metro finally found Chrysalis, looking over the hive from the balcony. Metro flew as fast as sound to get up to the queen. "Chrysalis, I have additions to the changelings" Metro excitably told Chrysalis. Chrysalis' ears perked up, and nodded. Metro pulled out a gas mask, modified to fit the faces of changelings. Chrysalis turned her head in confusion and asked, "What is it suppose to do?" Metro put it on, and the eye holes begun to glow green. Metro began to reply, "It's suppose to be for a new species of changelings I invented." Chrysalis looked even more confused when he replied with that answer. Two masked and fully armored changelings came up behind Metro both holding stun batons, and knocked down a can from the table. They both pointed at the can and said, "Pick up that can" Chrysalis picked it up and threw it out of the hive. Metro began to tell Chrysalis, "I call them the combine, they're part alien and part changeling." Chrysalis looked angry at Metro, but realized how much power they could have. Something crashed into the castle, all of the guards began to fly into the castle to protect the queen, but the ones by the blast zone became wounded. It looked like a dark colored container in a shape of a point, something was knocking around in it and it didn't sound good. The guards pulled Chrysalis out and left me and my guards alone with the container. The rocket propelled container, opened slowly and a small stick sized leg popped out. The full body came out, and it looked like a four legged pillow with a mouth, but then it jumped on one of the soldiers' head. The creature stuck its sharp legs in the soldier's neck and started to control his nervous system, now he's not one of the combine soldiers Metro created. The soldier's chest opened up, now a mouth, he screamed in pain, and started to attack the second soldier. Metro grabbed the stun baton and electrocuted the creature. The sky started to rain changelings to protect the castle, the guards with the queen were fighting back the creatures. Metro grabbed a crow bar and jumped on the controlled soldier, Metro then started to slam the sharpest part of the crowbar onto the creature's body. Blood gotten all over the room and his suit. Metro just got a insane thought in his head, that would change Equestria forever. > The Betrayal > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Metro, now the commander of the Combine and the headcrab canisters, decided to lead them into war. Royal Guards fought back but with no luck, the Combine had more soldiers. The Combine begun to launch the headcrab canisters towards the royal guards. The infected guards attacked their own army. The Combine eventually won the war, in seven hours which Metro called, The Seven Hour War. The guards fell along with Equestria, the Combine begun turning every standing city into individual cities. The capital of the newly founded Combine planet is City 23, where all rich and royalty lives. In the city, the Metro-Police gave a gas mask to the last pony transported to City 23, and they nodded good job at each other, as Metro walked by them. Metro was walking through the city on patrol while wearing an black Metro-Police mask with green stripes, he stopped to look up at the Citadel and the Gas Transfer building, then looked down again. He ran to Queen Chrysalis and asked, "Don't you think it's a little lonely, now that we took over Equestria?" Chrysalis shook her head, as she continued to follow the Strider. Metro sighed and followed Chrysalis, but something made him stop in his tracks when he hears a growling. A zombie, but not any zombie it was a special one.He was in the alley, covered in black headcrabs, Metro gasped as he backed away to the two police stallions, but he was too late. Metro saw a zombie that was once a police stallion, eating the other police stallion. The special zombie in the alley threw its headcrabs at Metro, but he quickly ducked as the headcrabs flew over him, landing in the water. The headcrabs floated in the water, lifeless. Metro looked around him as the gates around him began to close, Chrysalis was hungry for power but he didn't know it was this far. He looked at the guard being eaten by the zombie, all he has now is the top half of his body.It was a disgusting sight to see, but that didn't stop Metro, he grabbed the AR2 beside the dead body, and fired anti-matter at the infected body of the once police stallion. The guard quickly disintegrated, but the alley zombie walked towards Metro just to grab the AR2 and throw it over the edge. Metro had no choice, he was surrounded by the Combine and one zombie, so he quickly jumped down from the bridge into the water. He swam to the underside of the bridge to find a vent to break. He eventually found one to crack open, and he crawled through the vent like it was no problem. Metro fell out of the vent on the other side, but in sewage. Metro grossed out, got up and continued through the sewers hoping to find help. > Rebellion > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Days went by as Metro walked through the sewers, trying to find a ladder. As he walked past a corner he heard something walking, Metro quickly went behind the corner, trying to blend in. Two humans wearing green armor, and holding sub-machine guns went past Metro. Metro accidentally made a noise by moving his hoof, then he became face to face with the two humans. A third one came around the corner holding a crowbar, he ran towards Metro armed with the crowbar, and a thunk was heard, as everything went dark. Metro groaned as he slowly woke in the empty, he quickly noticed something was missing from him. His mask was gone, he quickly held his breath, as he became afraid of the Co2 taking away his breath forever. His focus went on the air vents, and realized he nearly killed himself from holding his breath. He exhaled, and inhaled slowly for the next minute. A women's voice began to be heard from the speaker, "Metro, this is Alyx and Gordon, we're going to get you out, we didn't realize you were betrayed also," Metro tilted his head in confusion on how she knew it. The air became colder as light peered in the room, and the gate slowly opened. Two silhouettes stood in the gate way, as Metro's eyes began to adapt to the light. When his eyes were fully adapted, he saw a man in a orange suit of armor with glasses, and the brightest green eyes. Metro turned towards the woman, she had a suit of fake combine armor on, and a head-band around her dark hair. She smirked, as she began to speak, "I'm the voice from the speaker, and this is Gordon," Metro nodded, as he gotten ready to run. Metro tried to run, but Gordon's hand went up, a clang was heard, and everything went dark. Gordon didn't hit Metro, but missed and threw it at the light. Metro smiled as he ran passed Gordon and Alyx, passing every guard and vehicle. He reached a room on the other side of the base filled with screens, and he was shocked. Metro saw every screen connected to one of every camera in City 23, including the trap Chrysalis laid out. He decided to go back to Alyx, and asked. "Can I help you two, with what ever you're trying to do?" Alyx understood so she gave Metro a clipboard, he signed everything in the clipboard and gave it back. Alyx looked over the clipboard, more than enough and smiled. She traded the clipboard for a green suit of armor with Gordon, and Alyx proceeded to say, "Welcome to the Rebellion." > Revolution > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Rebels went out of the heavily armored truck, after a ten hour drive from the bunker. Metro exited, holding a sniper rifle and wearing his mask along with his green Rebel armor, looked at the broken Combine gate. Something powerful must have broken through the gate, the ten part team began going through the hole in the gate. When Metro finally gotten through the gate he looked at the sky, it was burnt orange and filled with smoke coming from the buildings. The non-masked Private in the squad, dropped down, dead. Metro took out a Co2 detector, and began scanning the air. It was off the scale, it would be impossible for anything to survive in this air. Metro put it away, and used hand signals to lead the team towards the citadel, but they were stopped in their tracks as a Combine helicopter came out of nowhere and started firing at them. Two of the ten men team got murdered, a noise was heard, and something began flying towards the helicopter. It crashed into the helicopter, and the chopper started to fall towards the team. Metro pushed Gordon out of the way but dropped the sniper rifle. He jumped to the other side of the bridge after pushing Gordon. The helicopter crashed into the bridge, causing it to collapse and brought the rest of the team with it. Metro went to the edge, and looked down at the bridge trying to piece together if they lived. "They're dead, lets continue to battle and we'll make a memorial for them at the end," Metro replied to Gordon's confused face. Something fired, and nearly took off Gordon's head. They looked at the cliff, and saw heavily armored, blue troopers. A tank rolled from the side of the bridge the armored truck was, and loaded a shell into the cannon. Metro tackled Gordon, as the tank fired the shell, and crashed into the second gate, where a Combine APC was waiting. The APC fired a anti-matter bomb at the tank, but bounced off. There was a shield over the tank, and a head popped up wearing a crown. A blue haired and eyed human stood on the tank, pointing at the APC and yelling at his troops. The troops took out a high tech rocket launcher, and loaded a glowing green rocket. They fired the rocket, which crashed perfectly into the APC causing it to melt into green goo, and the human began pointing at Metro. Gordon grabbed Metro's hoof, and ran through a house into the main street, to the Citadel. The building blew up, and the tank went through the rubble, but suddenly the human standing on the tank disappeared. Metro was glad for that sight, but the tank didn't stop, Metro grabbed a grenade from a dead Combine soldier and yelled, "Revolution!" Metro threw the grenade straight into the cannon, and blew up the tank, but melted the tank remains into goo. Metro got into a Combine APC, and looked around for a start button. Metro found a pair of keys, so he twisted it to the right, starting the vehicle. Gordon got into the cannon, as Metro began driving towards the citadel. > Equestria's Savior > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Metro's APC crashed into one of the last Combine gates, which made the soldiers to jump down from the gate and pointed their weapons at the APC. Gordon got onto the turret, and fired the weapon at them. They all laid, wounded. Metro got out of the APC, dazed but not injured, he picked up one of the weapons the Combine had. Metro looked at the soldiers, so he grabbed a loose metal pole, and put them out of their misery. Metro and Gordon moved through the hole, but saw a huge bird crash into the last gate, causing them to jump backwards. It wasn't a bird, but a metal glider with a engine attached to it. Metro didn't want to be stopped by something so little to this, so he begun running towards the destroyed gate with Gordon. Things were flying towards them, fast, but the objects slowly became clearer. 'Headcrab canisters!" Metro yelled at himself as the two backed up. The canisters crashed inside of the citadel, causing tons of glass to fall onto the streets. Gordon knew this wasn't safe, so he grabbed Metro's hoof and pulled him fast, towards the entrance of the citadel. The placed looked ransacked, there was blood everywhere along with bullet-holes, and dead bodies of the Combine, and blue soldiers. Metro grabbed a 387. magnum from one of the soldiers, and started to go towards the elevator. Gordon followed him, and pressed the only working button, the Queen's Chamber. The two looked at the glass wall, and saw helicopters from different places going into City 23. One helicopter dropped a bomb on the farthest gate to the citadel, there was a double flash and a mushroom cloud. The elevator began slowing down, and Metro became ready for any amount of soldiers. Gordon exited first and fell on the floor, past out. Metro ran out, firing at the pictures and chair. He looked behind himself, and saw the Queen barely breathing. He heard a voice, and looked back at the chair. There was a dark, blue maned and eyed pony, sitting in the glowing green chair. The unknown pony began speaking, "Son, I waited for this moment ever since you were born." Metro pointed the magnum at the pony, and hesitated. He looked over at the wounded Queen, then looked back at the pony. The figure spook again, "You have a choice, press this button and save Equestria or stay with your mother as the world slowly became uninhabitable." Metro picked up Chrysalis, and went over to the button. As soon as he pressed the button, Chrysalis took out a gun and shot Metro. Everything went dark in his eyes, Tsunami grabbed Chrysalis and put a canister of knock-out gas in her mouth, causing her to fall asleep. Tsunami picked up the body of Metro, and focused all his energy into Metro's wounds. He healed, but didn't wake up. Years later, the war ended with a peace treaty of the Changeling Empire, and the New Water Empire. Tsunami forgave Chrysalis, and married her, while wearing a anti-love-eating crown. Metro, in the hospital, began waking up. There was get-well cards, and balloons on the end of the bed. He smiled, as he looked outside, to see the town of Ponyville, rebuilt and populated by every kind of pony. Metro knew that revolution can save things, he remembered that pony, it was his father. He began falling asleep peacefully, hoping to wake up in time of savior.
