> Gravity Foals: Book 1: Secrets of the Draconequus > by Megasis101 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Into The Forest > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The beams of sunlight shown on the Mystery Shack of Gravity Falls. On the top level of the shop, Dipper Pines was sitting on his bed reading a book while his twin, Mabel Pines was sitting upside down on her bed doing absolutely nothing. "Gah!" Mabel wined, "Dipper! I'm going to die of boardation!" "Mabel 'boardation' isn't a word." Dipper answered. "To me it is." she answered back. Dipper turned his attention back to his book while Mabel just sat there staring at stuff. She looked at the TV and sat up to turn it on. She grabbed the remote and started flipping through the channels. "Mabel, forget it, there's nothing on TV." Dipper said, but Mabel kept on clicking. She finally paused, and squealed, then started to randomly hug the TV. Dipper put down his book and looked at his awkward sister staring at the TV very happily. "Uh, Mabel, what are you watching?" Dipper asked. She squealed again, "It's a new episode!" He looked at the TV from his bed. On the TV, some strange creature was holding a purple unicorn in his arm and started to talk to her. "Just picture it. The chaos capital of the world." He held the unicorn up for a better view. Suddenly day quickly became night and the unicorn squinted. "Well, I can't picture anything. It's too dark." The thing put the unicorn down. "Well, just wait a few minutes and you could see it in the beautiful light of day. Or not." The creature leapt into the sky and disappeared. "Ponyville, the chaos capital of the world?" She looked back at the twisted city. "Not if I have anything to say about it!" A Pegasus spoke to her in a rude manor. "Don't worry, you won't." She laughed maniacally. The unicorn threw her head down and groaned. Dipper watched the expression on Mabel's face as she was mesmerized by the television. How on earth would she be the same age as him? "I told you nothing was on." Dipper told Mabel. "Are you kidding?" Mabel said, "This is pure GOLD!" Dipper rolled his eyes. "Fine go ahead and watch your...stuff, while I get back to reading my mystery novel." Dipper got into a comfortable position on his bed. As he read he heard a strange sound on the TV. "Huh?" Mabel shouted. The colorful screen quickly turned to gray and a loud fizzing sound burst through the speakers. "Ah! What's wrong with the TV?" Dipper yelled, covering his ears. "The satellite! Come on!" Mabel yelled. She started running down the stairs. "Mabel wait! Mabel!" Dipper dropped his book on his bed and ran down the stairs after her. Dipper ran out the door as Mabel opened it. They ran outside and tried to spot the satellite dish on the roof. "Dipper, look at the satellite dish!" Mabel told him. He looked closer. "I-it's completely destroyed. What could of caused it?" Dipper stared at the broken satellite and tried to think. "Oh my gosh! Dipper look!" Dipper's eyes grew, his mouth wide open. A dark creature towered above them on the roof. It leaped to the "s" on the sign of the Mystery Shack and leaped to the ground. "Dipper! Watch out!" Mabel screamed. She pushed Dipper and the S came crashing down on the spot where he was standing. The figure ran into the forest without a trace. Mabel got on her feet and helped Dipper up. "Come on, Dipper!" Mabel said starting to run toward the forest. "Wait! Mabel! Stop!" Dipper grabbed Mabel's shoulder. "Why in Gravity Falls would you go after that thing? There's absolutely no reason!" Dipper shouted. "Dipper, that thing ruined my show! I need payback!" Mabel shouted back. "It's not worth getting payback! It's too dangerous. Come on, we're going back. We're going up there and I'm going to finish that novel." Dipper said grabbing Mabel's hand. She pulled her hand from his grip. "Dipper! Think about it! Why go and read about people solving junk when you could go solve the junk yourself?" "Mabel..." Dipper started. Mabel cut him off. "You know what? I'm going to find that thing myself!" Mabel started running to the woods. "Mabel! Mabel! Wait! Stop!" Dipper started running after her. "Please, Mabel!" Dipper approached the woods. He took a deep breath and took a step forward. He ran to try to catch up. He ran into a few twigs and saw Mabel running up ahead. The forest got darker and darker. After a while Dipper saw light ahead and a clear opening. He saw Mabel come through the opening and Dipper came through after her. He paused for a little to catch his breath. He looked up and saw Mabel. "Mabel!" Dipper yelled. "Don't run off like that!" Mabel didn't say any thing. She just stood there. "Mabel?" Dipper said, walking up to her. He saw her face. Her mouth was wide open. Her eyes were huge. Dipper looked in the direction Mabel zoned out to. Then his expression also changed. The creature was sitting on a rock and stared at them. The red, beaming eyes glared right into Dipper's soul. It slowly stood up. Its shadow got bigger and bigger. The twins started backing away. Dipper tripped over Mabel and they both fell down onto the forest floor overwhelmed. The creature towered above them. They where terrified. The figure leaped off the rock. It lifted its great big head and laughed triumphantly, lightning flashing. The creature stopped laughing and the area became brighter. The two sat in fright. The creature glared at them. The creature had a snake tail, a lion paw, a eagle claw, a lizard leg, a goat leg, a bird wing, a bat wing, a narwhal horn, an antler and a great big horse head! The great creature smiled at the two. The forest was silent for a moment. Finally Mabel spoke. "D-D-D-DISCORD?!" Dipper was confused. "W-what? Y-you KNOW this guy?" The creature laughed again. "I take it that you know me from some where." It said in a strong, deep voice. In a bright flash he disappeared. "I guess I'm a little famous." The voice came behind them. They turned around. It was very close behind them. "Ah!" They screamed. They tried to struggle to back away from him. "Tell me..." The thing disappeared again. It reappeared close to Mabel. "...who else knows about me?" Mabel lowered her eyebrows. "What do you WANT, Discord?" The creature paused. "What do I want? What do I want?" The creature disappeared then reappeared back on the rock. "I want the freedom to be ME! That's what I want!" "Get to the point, goat!" Mabel yelled. Discord lowered his eyebrows. He disappeared then reappeared back on the ground, pretty close to Dipper. "I was just wondering if you two have seen... I don't know, a Chrystal a GEM... Maybe... About as big as your shoe or something. A....Ruby.. A bright, red, ruby?" Discord threw his elbow around Dippers neck. "Well DO you?" Dipper shoved the creatures arm off his neck and shook his head. Discord looked at Mabel and she also shook it. Discord hesitated. "Well then... I guess there's no use for YOU then is there?" Dipper and Mabel started backing away as he got madder. "I mean you know me for some reason, you called me a GOAT, you haven't even seen the gem!?" He got furious. Dipper and Mabel where scared. "Well it looks like this ends our conversation. Goodbye!" The twins were shocked as they were lifted off the ground. Before they knew it, they were flung over the trees. The twins both screamed at the same time. Hey crashed right in front of the Mystery Shack. They got up slowly. Dipper rubbed his head as he got up. "Aw! Gosh! What was that?" He asked. "He's Discord! The king of chaos." Mabel answered. "He was from My Little Pony. The show I was watching. Until SOME body got all up in my business." "What was that gem he wanted do you know?" Dipper asked. "Actually, no! The show had NOTHING about Discord trying to get a ruby." She answered, "Why?" "Because I'm going to find out why. Come on!" Mabel followed Dipper into the Mystery Shack. > Waddles, can you say Draconequus? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The door swung open to the Mystery Shack. Mabel and Dipper ran in panting, drenched in sweat and covered with grass and pine tree needles. Windy looked over from the cash register to see them. "Hi, guys. You look like you got ran over by a tree. What happened?" Mabel spoke, "Oh, we just met some crazy wackjob of chaos and he flung over the trees but now we're fine." Wendy paused for a little bit. "Ok, sounds cool." She sat back and put her legs on the desk to read another magazine. "Come on." Dipper told Mabel. They both ran upstairs to their room. Dipper opened a drawer from his dresser and opened the book he found from the first night he spent in Gravity Falls. He flipped through the pages trying to find a picture of what Discord looked like while Mabel sat on her bed hugging her pig, Waddles. "Waddles, can you say Discord?" Mabel asked her pig. He oinked twice. "Waddles, can you say chaos?" Again, the pig oinked twice. "Aha! Here it is!" Dipper yelled. He sat next to Mabel and read. "Draconequus: A creature with multiple different and strange animal body parts. There's only one of them who has ever lived. His name is Discord and there in only one thing he searches for in Gravity Falls. What ever you do, DO NOT GIVE HIM THE GEM!" "That's it?" Mabel asked. She turned around to Waddles. "Waddles, can you say Draconequus?" Waddles oinked twice. "You'll learn some day." Mabel said, patting his head. > Diamond Dogs > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dipper zipped up his backpack and swung it around his back. He gave Mabel her backpack and she swung it on her back. "Dipper, why do we need backpacks?" Mabel asked. "You heard what the book said, we need to get to that gem before Discord gets to it first. I have a feeling something terrible's going to happen if he gets a hold of it. We'd probably have to search the whole forest if we have to, it might take days." Dipper replied. They were out side the Mystery Shack getting ready to go out to the woods. Dipper took another deep breath and stepped into the forest. Mabel followed. He moon rose and the sky was getting darker. After a while, it got darker. "Uggggghh!" Dipper heard behind him. "Diiipperr! We've been walking for hoooouurrrs!" "No, Mabel, we've been walking for minutes." Dipper said. "But I'm tired! And hungry! And cold!" Mabel wined. "Stop complaining. We'll rest later." Dipper replied. "But I want to rest noooow!" Mabel wined. "Shhh! Discord might be here. This is the place we met him." They snuck in the bushes. Dipper tried to see if Discord was there. Lucky enough, he wasn't. "Cost is clear." Dipper whispered. They came out of the bushes and walked to the other side of the clearing. Dipper stopped at the huge rock. He looked behind the rock. Nothing was there. "So where do you think it is?" Mabel asked. "I don't know." He answered. "If I were a Draconequus, were would I look for a gem?" Mabel asked. The bushes rustled, but Dipper turned his attention back to Mabel. "Well if I were looking for a gem I would look in the forest." The bushes rustled again, harder this time. "I have the feeling someone's watching us." Dipper whispered. "Yeah. Let's get out of here." Mabel whispered back. They slowly snuck out of the clearing. Suddenly, something jumped out in front of them. "Your not going anywhere!" It spoke. It was a dog, on two legs! "Ah!" Dipper and Mabel screamed. "What are you?" Dipper shouted. "A Diamond Dog." Mabel and Dipper tried to back away. "What do you want from us?" Mabel asked. "We heard that you were looking for a gem." The scary, high-pitched, crackly voice gave Dipper shivers. "We'll help you find it." It said. Suddenly, Dipper felt something on his ankle. He quickly turned around. A huge furry arm gripped around his leg. One was also around Mabel's. The arm started tugging and they dragged across the grass into a great big hole. Mabel and Dipper screamed as the moonlight slowly disappeared and their surroundings became dark. > Diamond Searching > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Let us go you Diamond Rats!" Mabel shouted. She gripped the bars in the dirty dungeon they put them in. Dipper was sitting right next to her. "Dogs! Dogs! We're dogs! Go to school and learn your animals!" The dog shouted. His voice echoed. "We'll let you go and help you find your gem if you help us find crystals." "Fine, we'll do it, but you have to promise to give us the gem when we find it." Dipper said. "We have a deal." The Diamond Dog reached for the leaver to the dungeon and pulled it down. Dipper and Mabel walked out of the dungeon. Dipper held out his hand. The dog hesitated, then held his paw out and shook Dippers hand. Dipper unzipped his backpack and pulled out the metal detector he brought. He set his backpack down. Other dogs pushed mine carts and the group started walking down the tunnels. Dippers metal detector started beeping and dogs hoped in front of him and dug fast. Dipper jumped back from the two dogs frantically digging. They retrieved the gems and put them in the cart. Mabel poped out of the cart all of the sudden. "It's like I'm swimming in a tiny pool of shiny candy!" She said. She took a gem from the cart and took a bite into it. "Nope, definitely not candy." She slowly sank back into the cart. The dogs kept collecting gems and Dipper scanned the floor and walls. He wiped his forehead. He stopped. "Hey, uh, can we have a break? We've been working all night." Dipper asked. "Keep working, boy, we had a deal." The Diamond Dog demanded. Dipper turned around and flipped his metal detector upside down. "Excuse me, not taking a break wasn't part of our deal. We want a break and we deserve it." "I can throw you back in that dungeon very easily." The dog threatened. "Wait do you hear that?" Mabel asked from the cart. Dipper listened. The metal detector was beeping. Dipper lifted the metal detector higher. The detector beeped faster. "Dogs! Dig!" The Diamond Dog demanded. The dogs pushed Dipper out of the way and dug at the ceiling. Something fell from the ceiling. Dipper knew it when he saw it. Mabel jumped from the cart and ran next to Dipper. They crouched down to see it better. It was it. It was the gem. It shone very brightly and it was bright red and very beautiful. Suddenly a big furry paw snatched it from the ground. "Hey! We had a deal!" Dipper shouted. "I was crossing my fingers. It doesn't count." He said. Dipper and Mabel where shocked. "Also, I saw how precious it was." He rubbed the gem against his face. Dipper got very mad. "Now, take them away." The dog said. Two other dogs grabbed their arms. "Hey!" Mabel yelled. Dipper got furious as he saw the dog walk away then set the gem on a cart. That was the last straw. Dipper got super mad. "No!" Dipper yelled. He broke free of the dogs big hands. Dipper ran to the cart, climbed onto it, and grabbed the gem. Mabel also broke free. She climbed on the cart with Dipper. They jumped to a different cart with a hole above it. Dipper jumped up and climbed up to the top. Mabel followed him. "Don't let them get away!" A voice echoed. "Make a run for it!" Mabel shouted. Dipper ran, Mabel close behind him. He didn't care where he ran. "Come on, let's hide in these bushes!" Dipper told Mabel. They crouched in the bushes and waited. "Where are they?! Where are they?!" Dipper listened. "If we don't get that gem, Discord's going to kill us for sure!" Dipper was shocked. They knew Discord too? "I swear if I see that boys face again, he is going to regret every thing he's done. Keep searching!" The Diamond Dogs where out of sight. "Great," Mabel said "Now we go a bunch of dogs on our tail?" He held the gem in his hand. He threw it in the air then caught it. He did it again. "Good thing I managed to get this baby. Without this we would be.." The gem dropped. It rolled across the grass and then rolled into a cave. "No! Mabel yelled. They both ran after it. Before Dipper knew it they were both tumbling down a tunnel. They fell pretty hard on top of each other. Dipper opened the eyes. He spotted the gem. He grabbed it then got up. "Where the heck are we?" Mabel asked. "I have no idea." Dipper replied as he got up. He looked around. They were still in a cave but it was a huge, lit up open space. The ground had swirling designs around the edges. In the middle was a circle. Dipper walked to the center. "Uh, Dipper, what are you doing?" Mabel asked. Dipper crouched down to his knees. He put the gem in the circle. It started to glow brighter. "Dipper?" Mabel said. Dipper backed away from the gem. I huge circle formed in the air. Dipper backed up a lot. The circle grew brighter and wind was blowing. Dipper squinted. The circle swirled multiple colors. The colors swirled faster and faster. It made Dipper dizzy. Everything was super bright. Suddenly a bright figure jumped from the circle. The brightness disappeared. The wind, and even the circle. The figure had its head down. It was breathing very hard. It had a few scratches on its coat. It did nothing but breath. "H-hello?" Dipper muttered. The figure stood silent for a moment, then lifted its head. It was white with hair and a tail of many colors. It had a horn and wings with a necklace and a crown. It was a...pony? It kept breathing. "Who are you?" Dipper asked. "I am Celestia, the princess of light." She said. They stood silent for a minute. Then they heard Mabel. "Luna, away!" Mabel was sitting on a blue pony. > The Flight > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Our world is in peril because of Discord." Celestia told Dipper. "He's turned Equestria into a chaos target." "Well, is there anyway to stop him?" Dipper asked. "In fact, there is." Celestia answered. "Your hair tastes like cotton candy." Mabel was on Celestia's back chewing on her hair. She lit her horn and used her magic to levitate Mabel off her back. "Their called the Elements of Harmony. They have amazing power and they can defeat Discord." Celestia said. "Dipper." Mabel whispered. "I've just been touched by magical pony magic. Do you think I have magical pony powers?" "Mabel, don't be ridiculous." Dipper rolled his eyes. "We only have five elements. One is missing." Luna said. "Do you have any recourses about the Elements of Harmony?" Celestia asked. "Not really, but I might have something else." Dipper answered. "But we have to get out of these tunnels first." "No problem." Celestia said. She crouched down. "Get on my back." Dipper put his hands on the warm white coat of the alicorn. He pushed himself up and swung his leg around the other side of her back. She sat up and spread her wings Mabel got on Luna's back and Luna spread her wings. Celestia flapped her wings a few times then burst through the tunnel above them. She flew so fast, it caught Dipper by surprise. It got dark as they sped through the tunnels. Dipper saw sunlight as they approached the entrance of the cave. Celestia curved her wings and they twisted through the entrance. She curved through the air and into the sky. She flew straight up, pressed her wings against her back and slowly turned as she flew through the air like a rocket. Dipper looked below him and saw Luna doing the same thing. Celestia started to turn faster and the pressure became stronger. Dipper pressed his head against her neck so he didn't lift his head to much and fall off. The faster she flew, the harder Dipper pressed his head against her neck. The wind made Dipper's hair go wild. He shut his eyes tight as the pressure got stronger. Suddenly he decided to opened his eyes. He saw Celestia quickly open her wings and the pressure changed. Then the only pressure there was, was the breeze brushing against his face. Celestia leveled her wings to angle herself above the pink, fluffy clouds. The sounds of speeding up to the sky that blared in his ears while going up had disappeared completely. Celestia angled her wings differently and she flew gently above the beautiful clouds. Dipper released his head from her neck and lifted it to take in the view. The gentle wind carefully pressed against his face. Celestia got lower to the clouds. It was close enough for Dipper to retch his arm out and feel the soft clouds. She curved up a little bit more. Luna sped up beside Celestia. "Luna, to freedom!" Dipper heard Mabel say. She was balancing on her back. Dipper laughed a bit. This was the most amazing thing he's done in a long time. He slipped his feet in a good position and pushed himself up so he could also stand. He felt the breeze stronger against his face. It was like a dream experiencing something like this. Dipper threw his arms up in the air. "Woo-hoo!" He shouted. "Alright!" Celestia and Luna turned to each other and smiled. They lowered out from the clouds. Dipper could see a river below. Celestia lowered down right next to it. Dipper could see his reflection. Celestia curved up again. "To the Mystery Shack!" Dipper shouted. They passed a few clouds and Dipper spotted a familiar building below. Celestia flew toward it and slowed down. She swung her legs forward, flapped a few times, then landed. Luna landed behind her. Celestia crouched down to let Dipper off her back. He hopped off and stepped onto the ground. "Here it is, the Mystery Shack." Dipper told Celestia. ~~~~ "Here's the book I've been talking about." Dipper said. "It has everything you need to know about everything that's going on in Gravity Falls." " This might be what we need," Celestia said levitating the book. "Thank you, Dipper." Dipper blushed. She flipped through the pages trying to find anything about the Elements of Harmony. She looked closely at the pages as she flipped. Then finally, at the end of the book, she stopped and read. "The Elements of Harmony: Amazing, powerful objects that are used for good. Five of them are known, Loyalty, Kindness, Honesty, Generosity, and Laughter. The final is a complete mystery." Dipper froze. "Where could it be?" He asked. "We don't know, but we will find it." Celestia answered. "Time is running out. We need to go, sister." Luna said, looking out the window. Celestia took a deep breath. "We don't have much time." She turned to Dipper and Mabel. "Will you two help us?" Dipper was very surprized. "Would we?" Mabel squealed. "Let's go, Dipper! Luna, to freedom!" She got on Luna's back. "Would you stop saying that?" Luna said, opening the window. She flew out. Dipper took a deep breath and climbed on Celestia's back. She, too, flew out the window. > Chaos to Equestria > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia stopped at the entrance of the cave. "Let us go first, we'll check if the coast is clear of Discord before you come." "We'll stay right here." Dipper said. Celestia walked into the cave. Luna followed. As the two disappeared into the cave, Dipper waited, and waited. Suddenly, a faint scream echoed through the cave. "Celestia!" Mabel and Dipper shouted. They ran in the cave and once again, tumbled through the tunnels. They ended up back in the lit up room. They both got up and spotted Celestia. She was standing up and looked perfectly fine. "Celestia, are you alright?" Dipper asked. "I'm just fine." She cleared her throat. "Dipper, the gem." Dipper reached into his vest pocket and held it up to Celestia. She levitated it closer to her. She rolled it around and studied it. She sat silent for a moment. Dipper waited. She suddenly looked at Dipper and smiled. He was confused. "Thanks, Dipper, I really needed this." Now he was REALLY confused. Celestia's coat started to darken into a dark brown. She smiled real big and grew. Dipper got close to Mabel, both shivering. All of her body parts changed. A bright flash made Dipper look away. The light dimmed and revealed.... "Discord!" Mabel gasped. He threw his head back and laughed as he held the gem in his paw. The gem grew bigger and quickly turned magenta. Dipper didn't know what to think. He was shocked. In a sudden bright flash, the portal opened. Discord took one last look at Dipper. Then he disappeared into the portal. Dipper quickly got up and ran to the portal. He grabbed Mabel's hand and jumped into the portal. ~~~~~~~~~ Dipper drew open his eyes. He sat up and looked around. They were in a different cave this time. The patterns around the edge changed. The center was bigger. Mabel also got up. "Where is he? Where's Discord?" She asked. "We're gonna find out." Dipper said climbing up the tunnel. Mabel climbed up after him. Dipper slipped a few times but managed to get to the top. He got to the entrance of the cave and pulled Mabel out. They got up and looked around. The ground was multiple colors and formed hills. Buildings were turned upside down and pink clouds poured chocolate rain. Mabel followed Dipper up a hill. They climbed to the top. "Get down." Dipper whispered. Mabel crouched as they watched Celestia and Luna before Discord sitting on a thrown. He was holding the gem, that was now bigger and magenta, in his hand. "It's over Discord!" Celestia shouted. "How will you defeat me, I've got all the power to stop you right here." He replied. "We'll see about that." Celestia said as she levitated five gems around her and her sister. The gems created a ring of color. The sisters lit their horns. But while all of this was happening, all Discord did was smile. He clenched the gem in his hand. Suddenly in a bright flash, they disappeared. Discord, Celestia and Luna were gone. Dipper looked around. Buildings were turning rightside up and the cotton candy clouds drifted away. "Everything is back to normal!" Mabel said. "We did I...." In a bright flash Mabel disappeared. "Mabel!" Dipper shouted. Then suddenly, the environment changed to pitch black. It wasn't over yet. > Chaos to Gravity Falls > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dipper woke up on the grass. He was, once again laying next to Mabel. Why do portals always do this? He quickly got up. He saw that Mabel was awake too. She pushed herself off the ground. Dipper took her hand and pulled her up. Dipper turned around and saw the Mystery Shack... floating upside down! Discord! He looked around and saw that his surroundings looked almost exactly like what Celestia's world was before, except different buildings. Dipper reached into his vest and felt his book. How in the world did it get in there? He turned to Mabel. "Where's Discord? Where's Celestia and Luna?" He asked. "I have a feeling we need to look over there." She pointed into the sky. A purple beam shown in the sky from a particular spot in the forest. "Let's go then." Dipper said. He ran to the edge of the forest with Mabel following. Then he stopped and stared at the trees. They were colored red and white. He touched it with is finger and licked it. "Peppermint trees?" "They taste awesome!" Mabel was sticking her tongue against the trunk. "Stop messing around and come on. Dipper ran through the trees and tried to keep track of the beam. He saw the opening and ducked under a bush. Mabel also ducked. This was the spot they met Discord and got captured by Diamond Dogs. Discord was sitting on a throne on top of the rock. Celestia and Luna were trapped in a giant, empty hour glass. The gem was the one causing the beam. "What do we do now?" Mabel asked. "I have no idea. I don't think there's anything else to do." Dipper answered. "All we have is this, but it won't do much." He took out the book from his vest. He put it down and hugged his knees. "It's over, there's nothing else for us to do." He put his head down. Mabel sat there and felt wind brush against her hair. She also hugged her knees. The wind suddenly blew harder. Mabel watched as the wind shove the book open. The pages flipping like crazy. Then they flipped to the very last page. "Dipper! Dipper! Look!" Mabel's shouting made Dipper's head shoot up. "Look, Dipper!" Mabel pointed to the book. Dipper was absolutely shocked. ~~~~~~~~ "You'll regret it, Discord! You can't do this!" Celestia shouted through the glass. "Oh don't worry, I've already have." He answered. He snapped and the upper part of the hour glass was filled with dust. "By the time the bottom piece is filled, this city will be mine. Gravity Falls: the chaos capital of the world!" The dust started dropping. Celestia looked at Discord with a scowl. Discord laughed loudly. His laugh echoed through the city. "Not so fast, Discord!" "Huh!" Discord turned around and saw Dipper and Mabel. "Oh, it's just you two." "Let them go and leave this city alone!" Dipper yelled. "Oh, give me a break, you two, stop me? No way. I have this." He twisted the huge gem on his finger. "What makes you think that makes you so powerful?" Mabel shouted. "Because, I have the power, and you have nothing." Discord said. "Think again, Discord, we have THESE!" Dipper opened his book to the last page. It was stashed with five different colored gems. "What? Where'd you get those?" Discord's smile faded. Dipper held open the book. "Loyalty." A red gem shifted up from the book and rotated in the air. "Kindness." A pink one shifted up from the book and did the same. "Laughter, Honesty and Generosity." A blue, orange and purple one shifted up and rotated with the circle. "We need this town, Discord. This is the town where I uncover the greatest discoveries. It's where I have the greatest adventures with my wonderful sister. My sister who is with me every step of the way and never, ever gives up on me." He looked over to Mabel and smiled. Mabel smiled even bigger. He looked back over to Discord. "What's happening! This is impossible! You can't defeat me!" Discord sounded worried. The gem he was holding ripped out of his hand and shifted over to Dipper. "No!" Discord shouted. The dust in the hour glass was up to Celestia's chin. She tried her best to keep her head above the surface. Dipper looked at Mabel and she walked up next to Dipper. He looked back at Discord, his teeth clenched together, his eyes bright red. Dipper looked at the elements rotating, then at the gem. It shone very bright. "Magic!" He shouted. He placed his hand on the gem, Mabel doing the same. They took their hands off and the gem shifted into the air. In landed in the middle of the swirling elements. The elements rotated extremely fast. The gems created an explosion of color. It made a purple wave that made the clouds, peppermint trees and everything else disappear. The gems glowed extremely bright and Dipper and Mabel shut their eyes. "No!" Discord shouted again. Then every thing fell silent. > The Elements of Mystery > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dipper quickly opened his eyes. He turned around and saw Discord, but changed. The was in a different position and his skin was rock solid. Discord had turned to stone. He saw Mabel at his side. He smiled at her, then she smiled back. "That was the most amazing thing I've ever encountered!" Dipper spun around and saw Celestia and Luna. The hour glass was shattered and dust and glass was shattered everywhere. Celestia smiled as she walked up to Dipper. He also smiled. "The elements, please." Dipper opened his book and the five elements, including the gem, were in it. Celestia levitated the gems out of the book and put it in her sattlebag, except for the magenta one. She levitated the gem higher and spun it. It created a beam that made Discord's statue disappear. "There, now Discord is back in Equestria and both of our worlds are safe. I think you two deserve something for concurring Discord." Celestia moved the gem above her head. It broke into three pieces. One turned green, one turned gold, and the other remained magenta. The magenta one, she put in her sattlebag. She lifted the other two in the air. They both changed shape. Celestia shifted the gold one down to Mabel. "The element of Positivity." The element was connected to a necklace. The element itself was in the shape of a star connected to a rainbow. Mabel smiled really big. Celestia turned to Dipper and shifted the green one down to him. It was also connected to a necklace. The element was in the shape of a pine tree. "The element of Adventure." Dipper looked down at the element then he looked up at Celestia. "The Elements of Mystery." Her mane glistened in the sunlight, her smile light and friendly. "With these, you'll be able to come to Equestria whenever you like, if you'd ever want to." Celestia looked over at her sister standing next to her. "I believe it's time for us to leave." Luna said. "Just use your elements if you need to." Celestia said. "Bye, Dipper and Mabel." "Bye! See you later!" Mabel shouted. They both waved as the sisters lit their horns and disappeared. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dipper opened the last page to his book and put the two elements in. He slid open the drawer, put the book in, then closed it. He turned around and saw Mabel watching My Little Pony again. He smiled and walked over to her. "Good thing Gruncle Stan replaced the satellite dish." He said. Mabel turned to him. "Yeah, I bet he wouldn't survive without TV." Dipper laughed. He sat down next to her. "It looks pretty cool there." He said, looking at the TV. "It looks happy and full of joy." Mabel replied. "Do you think we'd ever go back?" Dipper asked, looking at Mabel. Mabel looked back at Dipper and smiled. "I bet we would." She swung her arm around his neck. "I bet we would." THE END
